Block Blast. I have come to realize that Block Blast is an extremely fun and interesting game that requires an abundance of strategy. It does become a little difficult at times, but that is just what makes it more enjoyable. However, I have noticed that every now and then it starts to play what sounds like a tampon advertisement. As a woman, I do not find this disturbing. On the other hand, the possibility of little boys downloading this game and hearing of the details of tampon insertion is not appropriate in the slightest. I wondered at first where it was coming from and even turned off the Sound and BGM options in the settings. The continuing commercial confused me even more because it was not like an add that I could see It was just a sound playing as I played the game. This has become a great inconvenience if I am trying to listen to music or watch a TV show on my phone at the same time. Overall, I love the game itself, but this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Still very much addicted..just a little less😂. I rarely write reviews, but the new update may have faults…unless my eyes just aren’t seeing what the programming does. Sometimes the pieces I’m getting give me no way to continue. Before I offloaded the game my highest score was at least 30,000, now I can barely break 2,000 and my highest is 4,513. I know sometimes I miscalculate, but it seems like I’m alwaysgiven the ‘T’, ‘U’ and ‘+’ pieces when I have nowhere to put them. Also, it would be cool if the game had different looks, for lack of a better word, like some of the ads I’ve seen on Instagram. I had the game before I saw the ad, so I knew it was nothing like it.

Ads for this game do not represent it correctly!. First I just want to say I do enjoy playing this game, however I downloaded it because of ads that I have seen for it on some of my other games, but the ads show gameplay that is literally NOTHING like the games on this app. The ads show a Tetris style game with a large screen full of blocks where you can rotate the blocks to fit. There is literally no game in this app like that. I have played all three game options in the app and none of them allow you to rotate the pieces plus the screen size only has space for a small number of blocks, not the full screen of block space, like in the ads. It would also be nice to have an ad-free, paid version available , as I am very tired of having to watch ads just to play the next level and would gladly pay a few dollars to get eid of them. Thanks!

App Glitched. I really liked this game at first. I liked that there weren’t any ads until you lost the game. (Or so I thought). One move before I would have beat my high score, an ad popped up. I already knew something was about to prevent me from beating my high score because something always “coincidentally” pops up when I get close to reaching my high score. I closed the first ad and then another ad popped up that was completely black with a small X in the corner. Of course, when I tried to close the second ad, it was unresponsive. I even left the app, checked my emails and when I returned, yup.. you guessed it… still an unresponsive black screen. It was some obvious glitch to keep me from beating my high score. I’m assuming this is to keep people playing the game. I don’t know. I just deleted the app and will search for some other app that helps me pass time.

More false advertisement.. I downloaded this game off of an ad I seen. It displayed pretty much Tetris. You know, how the blocks drop down from the top and you have to move them where you want before they reach the bottom, and match rows to make them go away. Instead, when I opened the app, it was like a puzzle game? I was confused thinking maybe it was a game where there are multiple different variations of Tetris. No. It’s just a puzzle game with not a lot of meaning. It got pretty boring after the first 3 rounds. Not only that, THE ADS ARE UNNECESSARILY LONG. Not your typical 30 second ad or so. I mean over a minute to two minutes, and when you click the “x” it takes you to a another screen, and another, until it finally lets you continue playing. Do not download, huge waste of time.

Game is GREAT — Ads are not. This game has quickly become one of my favorites. The ads, however, make it unplayable sometimes. Open the game? Ad. Between levels? Ad. Have to start the level over? Ad. Have to step away for a moment and the screen locks? Ad. I get it — a free game needs some way to make revenue. But 98% of the ads cut off the sound of whatever I’m listening to and make it to where I can’t just swipe down and resume playing my book or music. I have to leave the game to restart it and then half the time I get another ad! I’d love an option to pay a couple bucks to get rid of them — it would be worth it. Or even just make it to where the ads don’t cut out the sound of whatever the phone is already playing.

Really nice but…. ….it would be nicer to keep prizes from the adventure challenge as badges. I took screenshots of the last two I solved. I already don’t remember the first one, a shark ? The second one was the Toucan. Also, If you have to show advertisement, can we get new ones ? I am sick and tired to see the same spots for royal match again and again, plus I already downloaded that game which doesn’t have any of the games levels shown in those commercials. And also, it would be cool to remind which level we’re entering when we finish one because it only says "next level" and I have to exit it to main menu to know which level I am at. Thank you.

Don’t trust the 4.8 score. Some people don’t know that Apple allows app publishers to simply pay for a higher score in the App Store than the reviewers give it (BTW one of the main reasons why I will never buy an iPhone again, are you listening Apple?). Sure it has a “4.8 average score” but read the reviews and most people give it one or two stars because it’s not only a simplistic game that gets boring after a few minutes, you have to watch an ad for each of those minutes. Apple is totally fine with publishers using bot accounts to boost scores, and if you just give them a chunk of money they will make the “average score” a 4.8 no matter what the users say. I should have known, the ad has a line at the bottom that says “creative copy goes here that makes them want to download the game” and the app store page itself can’t even spell the word “relaxing” correctly. The developers are even stupider than their target market, but they have cash so Apple is happy to let them manipulate us.

Love the game, but Ads!!. The game is fun and I love the classic and adventure modes. The ads between levels are sporadic, but just often enough to be annoying. When you almost lose a level and can watch an ad to be back in with a possible save, those I can understand. When I close the app before the ad comes, and I reopen the app the next day or some other time, I have to sit through an ad before I can play. I would love an ad-free version. Where I only have to watch an ad if I need to revive a level. I’m honestly so sick of ads to Royal Match and if the ads didn’t open with sound on, that’d be great. I’m often playing in a waiting room or somewhere it’s inappropriate to have sound up.

Love the game HOWEVER. I love this game. It’s very addicting however I have one problem other than all the adds. It kills your battery. My battery will be at 100% when I start playing then after 20 minutes of game play my battery will be down at 80%. I checked my battery usage for the last couple days and this game was responsible for 35% of battery usages. Every other app was between 1% and 7%. And some of the games I have I use just as much if not more than this game. Would love to keep this game however unless they fix the battery consumption issue I am going to delete it because I can’t afford to have my battery completely killed because of having to charge it so often due to this game.

Updated Version of the game. The game is an easy 5 star but with the recent update I had to give it a 4 star. I loved the game because it was satisfying and I knew that it is a great game to help me cope with my anxiety and distract me from everything else that is going on! Here’s why I gave it a 4 star though, first, the voice changed to a guy and it scared me and now he’s very anoying and very much not a comfort to me at all. Second, the creators added more block pieces to make it easier and it sounds good but to me it made me feel like I wasn’t doing as good as I should’ve because I beat my high score on the game and it made me feel like Idk the challenge is now wayyy too easy.

Fun but frustrating. I’ve played for weeks, been consumed with playing. I have gotten several friends to play BUT we are noticing you can’t win. You get stuck on certain levels for literal days and never make it to the next level to make the picture in adventure mode. We have noticed that you get pieces to play that are impossible to use and you cannot win. Like you’re set up for failure, so we are kinda getting bored and tired of playing the same levels over and over again for days. We have all been stuck on the exact same levels and it seriously is a purgatory that is 2-3 days if you even pass it. We had a little competition going in the office but now it’s turned into no one playing anymore.

Fun game TOO MANY ADS. I love this game. Genuinely. I play it all the time and love it when I *do* get to play. What I mean by this is the game has too many ads with no option to pay to remove them. I watch an ad when I beat a challenge, I watch an ad when I need to revive myself, I watch an ad if I switch to another app and return to this one to continue playing. There are wayyyyy too many ads. There are whole reddit posts about this. Dear developers: I WILL PAY FOR THIS GAME IF YOU DON’T MAKE ME SIT THROUGH ANOTHER ADVERTISEMENT!!! I’ve also read a ton of complaints online about this and others that are willing to pay too so we don’t gave to sit through another ad about a game that’s not even what you see in the ad to begin with. I’ve literally never asked to pay for a game, but please for the sake of having some wasted time in my life back- let us pay for an ad-free version of this game.

Fun- until you lose without taking a turn. My husband and I love this game! It really is a lot of fun. But we noticed that we started to lose before we started on the next “level”. It’s not a game where you have to put the blocks in the right place each level to move on. Once you become good, it’s about luck. I have lost so many times because there weren’t any moves to be made when the next level started. Didn’t put a single block down, lost because the next three blocks didn’t fit. Or I could fit one of the blocks in only ONE spot, and I lose because there was no other way for me to put the blocks in. I reached level 12k+ a few times and lost because of my fault OR lost because I had no moves. Now I can’t get past 5k for some reason. It’s just becoming more annoying than fun. Deleting this game. Don’t waste getting addicted!

Give me no ads, or give me death…. I really like this game. It’s uncommon for me to like a game of this style too, but it really is one of those mindless, relaxing, play it when you can, fun games. The challenges push me to beat every level and I find myself mentally strategizing to fit the shapes. I like it a lot. BUT - I don’t see a way to opt out of ads! The ads are ruthless and happen in between every level. I find it so annoying. When I tried to see if I could purchase an ad-free experience - nothing. There’s no option to. Idk if the developers get more money from the ads this way, but I hate it. I’d seriously consider making the game ad-free optional because at some point, I’m going to find a better experience with another app.

Great game shadowed by PAINFULLY long ads.. The game is great and fun but I can’t deal with the ads anymore so ill be uninstalling. I wanted to leave a review and hopefully the developers will take into consideration all the complaints and reduce them length of ads. From ads that just play for 2-3 minutes to ads that hide the X out option under graphics it’s ruining the experience. I own a large Facebook page and we have advertisers to pay the bills. I get it. But there is no reason to make the ads that long. You are losing people’s attention and like myself ultimately deleting the game. Your advertisers would get more views by running quick short ads under 20 seconds by keeping ads short and the potential customer engaged. Making a user watch 4-6 minutes of ads on every break and expecting them not to get tired of it is laughable and a bad business practice. Ill check back in a few months and see if you guys took the reviews serious. Id even pay a few bucks to remove the ads. However I do not think that is your business plan here. By running ling ads you are lowering your audience and not GROWING your audience at the pace you could. You get the idea.

Just download it. This game is not Tetris. Unlike Tetris, this game has a smaller field, and you can drag and drop the pieces like a puzzle. It also gives you three pieces at a time instead of one. You have to use all three pieces, but you can use them in any order you want. This game will get boring long term, but it is really good to have, whenever you have a minute to relax. I have a couple games that are tycoon games, great for really quit moments when you just need to upgrade things, a couple games with levels, better for long term, a version of flappy bird, for playing when you don’t know how long you will be able to play, and this puzzle game. Block blast completes my collection. You got to have a puzzle game. Just download it, ok? Just do it.

False advertising+Too much advertising in game. In the ad for this game, it claims that it is like Tetris. However, when you download it, it’s nothing like Tetris. It’s kinda like the game Woodoku except for some reason better. And speaking of advertising, they do that wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Take it a notch down on the ads (maybe like one ad every three games), and stop false advertising. If someone thought this was Tetris and downloaded it to be disappointed, it’s very unlikely that they keep the app. So please, NO FALSE ADVERTISING! Note: I just found out that if you go to settings and press other games, you can play a game that’s very similar to Tetris. The only difference is that they only use straight block shapes what I mean by that is that it’s just squares and rectangles. but it’s still false advertising so yeah.

GET RID OF THE ADS OR ALLOW AN AD FREE VERSION. I honestly feel like the developers for this game are blatantly ignoring the MANY reviews asking for an ad free version. you’re going to absolutely kill this games market by not giving an ad free version that users could pay for to rid of. if i have to sit through another minute + ad where i have to also PLAY it in order to rid of it i’ll scream. i’ve sent emails to no avail and I’m seeing that this has been an issue for months (possibly years) now. you guys are obviously refusing to present an ad free version because you make good profit from it but PLEASE CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMERS WHO ARE PLAYING AND WILL SOON HATE THIS GAME BECAUSE OF THEM. I. AM. TIRED. other than that, very enjoyable game. just hate the ads terribly. idek how its legal that you can make someone watch minute long ads over and over.

False advertising and oh my, so many ads!. I came to this game cause the ad from a different game made it seem cool. “Block puzzle with gravity, that’s a neat concept” I thought. Nope no gravity, just mixed levels with different starts and goals. You have to download new levels every week with 100 or so to go through per week. I can deal with that, but the game throws an ad at you when you win, and when you lose. They ads aren’t short either. 10-15 seconds are the short ones, 20-25 seconds for how many times you have to hit the “X” and then it still takes you to the app page for that ad. You can just close, then reopen sure, but if you lose you have to do it twice. Honestly If you lose you might as well watch the 30 second ad anyway, cause it’s going to make you watch one regardless.

Too many ads and false advertising brought this rating from 3 stars to 1.. The problem with this app is the INCESSANT number of ads. Between every single level, you have to watch an ad. If you lose, you watch a 60 second ad. If you want to revive yourself when you run out of space, they force you to watch an extra long ad where you have to sit through the initial ad, click the X button, watch ANOTHER ad for the same product, click the arrows, wait until a sample of the game play pops up and stare at it for 10-20 seconds before the X appears, click that, then the App Store link pops up and you have to click “Done”, then you have to wait a good 15 more seconds before the last X button finally appears in the corner and you can continue the level. Even if you WIN and beat the level, they still force you to watch yet another ad! I spent maybe 15% of my time on actual gameplay and the rest was watching ads for stupid apps I will now make a point to NOT download out of spite. The other issue I have with this is that they market it as a “Tetris-style” game, but it’s nothing like Tetris aside from the shape of the blocks. There are literally dozens of other games just like it with different names. Do yourselves a favor, stick with one of the others. This app is just one giant commercial disguised as a game. To summarize: false advertising + ad abuse = Block Blast just lost a user.

Just realized something. I’ve been playing this game for the greater part of 2023 after a friend had suggested it for me. I use a VPN on my phone so I’m not subjected to the insane amount of ads I’m seeing tons of other reviewers being frustrated by. HOWEVER what I realized today is when doing the Adventure side, this game regularly gives you pieces that don’t fit anywhere just to make you lose and have to watch the ads. It doesn’t give you all the pieces you would get on the Classic side (the 3x2 is basically nonexistent in Adventure). AND the game will you the exact same piece over and over and over again in a row. I went back to playing Classic during Thanksgiving and had completely forgotten about certain pieces/shapes because I’d been Adventure for several months. Classic definitely feels more random (*cough* not rigged *cough*) and fair. Deleting this app.

Addicting game that everyone should know about. I decided to write this because I was addicted to this game and every night when I can’t fall asleep, I think about this game and I’m like just making new puzzles for my brains to figure out stuff and it’s just snaps into place and you get kind of frustrated when you don’t win it’s like addicting and it’s just the best game you will ever try and a lot of people like to go through these things like the ads are as they say, but this is literally exactly like the ads you just place them into this puzzle. And then you just get this great experience in this calming experience all in one also, I’m using like whatever it’s called voice thing so I’m sorry if there’s not a lot of punctuation but I totally recommend this app. You should download it right now. I literally love it and the ads on here aren’t that quick, so yeah and if your parents were if you are a parent adults, let your child download this it’s the funniest at the love it, and if you are an adult who’s finding this game this is right for you bye. Game full of adds. Add for Royal Match is the worst. The game itself is ok, the adds are killing it! You are given different shaped pieces that you put together until you fill the row/column. One it’s filled it disappears freeing space for new pieces. It can go forever! After each fail (when you don’t have enough space on the board to fit the new pieces) an add starts. Each add lasts about 45-60 sec. The worst part is that you have to actually press various buttons to get rid of it. The add for Royal Match lasted about 2 1/2 minutes. After a full 1 minute video and I had to perform the same action over and over again about 8 times! Each time when I would press the ‘x’ or ‘Done’ instead of retuning to the game it would send me to the App Store. Finally, after playing for about 1-2 month I deleted the game completely. It turned from a puzzle game into ‘killing the adds’ game.

Will be deleting. Played this for awhile, and then the ads started. And not just an interruption for 10-15 seconds—LONG ads, ads that take 3,4, 5 clicks indicating I’m not interested before they finally go away; ads that last a minute or longer. Ads that are obviously of the mindset that if they show just one more screen begging me to download it, I will. Ads that refuse to accept that I don’t want what they’re selling. The game itself is ok, but just ok. It would be much better if the user could rotate the pieces (perhaps that capability is available in higher levels, but I’m not going to sit through the mind-numbing ads to get there.) Life is too short to have to deal with this. I get that ads are necessary in today’s world, but developers should have requirements before inserting them in their games. Limits on the duration and the number of ‘not interested’ clicks required before they go away. Seems like the advertisers are running the show.

Deleted for shameless ad play. So.. When I first got the game it was fun but I noticed that the game seemed to conveniently give me the exact pieces I needed to get high scores. It was kind of fun and just a good break every now and then to play it but what you start noticing is that the game will increasingly do is give you the opposite pieces as to what you need in order to wreck your game but what’s this? They give you an option to revive your game if you’ll only watch more ads so there’s an incentive for the AI to only let you get so far unless you watch their ads. Don’t waste your time with this nonsense. Most of these ad related games are like this. They either force you to watch awful ads which you never want to see or inject a pay to win element to them. Now, I’m not against paying for stuff but only if it adds substance to the game which ofc it almost never does it is WAY over priced. I play Conan exiles and the paid content was always meh when it was priced decently and now that they’ve finally given us some nice content they put it behind a VERY expensive pay wall and it’s just ridiculous. The stupid thing is that it’s electronic content which means they’d likely generate more revenue if they charged less and could easily charge less and make plenty. Gaming has just gotten completely ridiculous

No Way This Is A 4.9. Starts off fun enough and you’ll win a lot, which means very few ads. But slowly difficulty becomes such that you will lose more often than not and for that you will be punished by viewing an ad. The same ad. Iver and over and over again. Look, I don’t mind ads if they are brief and varied but this has become a form of psychological torture that I cannot continue subjecting myself to. In particular this game seems to be fond of those horrendous graphic ads where women and children are being beaten and forced to die in the snow unless I “save them”. Who finds games built around these concepts even remotely entertaining? I can’t stand one more. DELETED. I encourage others to stand up to this developer AND Apple on this issue. We must STOP accepting being bombarded with ads for games involving violence towards women and children!

Could be great, but the ADs…. Truly love this game. The puzzle and constant grasp to try and get further and further is great. It holds interest and is truly fun to play. However, the ADs are killing it. If I have to see another royal match AD I swear. I would love to just pay and never have to deal with it again but there’s not an option. Also, I agree with a couple of other comments I e seen. It seems like if you get on a streak and break a high score or advance some leveled they eventually give you pieces that you can’t make work no matter what. I feel like they do this to break in another opportunity to watch an AD. It really is a problem. If not corrected I will eventually have to pass on the game cause it is a major buzz kill. Also these are the ones that last a long time playing a video that you have to just wait through before it gives you the X to close out. There’s nothing you can do but wait. It’s terrible…

Too Many Ads and Not as Advertised. I downloaded this app thinking it was going to be as Tetris which was advertised to me several times in other apps. Upon download I was greeted with an entirely different type of game experience where you have to fill in the cube with blocks and don’t actually play Tetris. Then when you fail levels it will prompt you with a button to watch an AD to get revived. Several times when I don’t click it after the timer runs out, I’m still prompted with an AD. I don’t really see the point in showing me an AD after I specifically didn’t click the button to get revived for an AD. Might as well have revived me instead of just making me restart after the ad which I didn’t click for. This game could have potential, but with the amount of ads it shows and the false advertising it’s no good.

Top 3 for me.. I have downloaded and installed many game apps the past few years. Literally 100dreds. only turn around and delete them immediately after the first two-three minutes of playing them. Weather it was the extreme amount of adds or just knowing immediately it's not what was advertised. This is different. Yes , there are adds. Not nearly as many as most games. And your not sitting around waiting on 2-3 minutes of adds. It's one short 15 -30 sec add. And it's only when you have exhausted your options and lost or completed your level. But the best thing about this game is that it's fun to play, it's challenging and it's addictive. When I am waiting on my mom or wife to get finished with there appointments this is my go to. Give it a shot. It's free.

good but too many ads and rigged. I really do enjoy this game however the ads ARE RIDICULOUS. second once your score gets to around 2,000 they start to make it very hard for you to stay in the game on purpose, and i know games are supposed to work like this but they start to make it impossible and give blocks that were never intended to fit no matter what strategy you use because then the game ends and it makes you watch an ad right after and it makes you continue playing. good luck getting a score over 5,000 because they intentionally make it virtually impossible, but honestly i’ve been trying to find a new app similar because this app doesn’t let you get high scores because it will give you puzzzles that are quite litterally impossible to solve regardless of the strategies you use.

It's a decent game...but. I'm deleting because of the ad, not the ads in the game, but the ad for the game. The ads in the game are just like any other add funded free game. You play, you watch an add. Fair trade. My gripe is with the ad for this game. It shows a different game- Tetris with a lot of lines. I downloaded it because I want to play that game. So I got suckered. Bait and switch. It's ok, I tell myself, because it's still a decent game. And then I see the ads and the game I wanted to play and I remember that I was suckered. And the creator advertises aggressively, so I'm constantly reminded that I was suckered. BTW, what's the point in showing a game you don't offer? Why not actually offer that game? Maybe that version of the game doesn't offer enough opportunity for ad exposure? Frustrated, I'm deleting the game. There are plenty of good free games that don't remind me I'm a sucker.

Fun game, but too many long ads!. I enjoy playing this game, but the ads are just TOO MUCH! When I first started playing, there wasn’t a long ad in between every round, and now there is... I lose interest in the game as I’m forced to sit and watch ads for other games I don’t want to play. I understand that ads are necessary, but if they’re going to play them THIS frequently, please make them shorter! Or at least give us an option to pay to remove ads. I could play this game for hours, but the ads take me out of it and cause me to close the app. And then when I open it again hours later, it still has to play the ad before I can play another round. 😕 I’m already debating uninstalling, as fun as it is.

Fun, but WAY too many ads. I just downloaded this game over the weekend and it’s a fun quick little game. However, there are a ridiculous number of often lengthy ads to watch like every other game. It feels like I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game and I’m already annoyed in just a short time. What’s more annoying for me personally, is that I often play games like this while listening to an audiobook on my phone, and the frequent ads are disruptive because you can’t even mute all of them, so they stop my audiobook a lot of the time. Maybe if there was one ad ever 5 or 6 games it would be more tolerable, but it is excessive at this point. I don’t see an option to pay a one time fee of a couple dollars to go ad free, but would be interested in this, because I will likely burn out on this game quickly because of the ads.

Game is okay, but he ads are crazy. I like this game. I don’t think it’s totally like the ad I saw for it, but it’s an good game to waste time playing. My major issue with this game is the ads 🙄 I know that free games have ads to make revenue, but there are so many ads that it drives me nuts. If you’re playing the game and get a text message that you want to reply to, when you come back to the game you will be greeted by an ad 😡 this game has adventures, where you have to compete a certain number of puzzles within a timeframe. After each puzzle there is an ad. Some of the puzzles only require you to collect a couple gems, so you may play the game for a few seconds and then get an ad, after that ad you go back to the game and play for less than a minute and get another ad. I’d be willing to pay for the game to avoid the ads.

The game is RIGGED! Pointless Playing!. This was actually fun initially until you reach a certain score threshold and it gives you blocks that will not fit no matter what. It is coded in a way to give increasingly odd shaped blocks that have no way of fitting in the spaces you have, and forget about getting the basic 2, 3, and 4 linear ones after you reach a certain score. It’ll only give you the odd L shaped, 9 cluster blocks that you have no room for, or other oddly shaped ones. The so called “random” distribution of blocks is not random. They have this game coded in a way that you lose and the game ends, which is pointless. And every time a game ends you have to watch stupid ads, or if you choose to revive the game. It’s a money making tactic for you to sit through ads. I ended up deleting this.

Pretty good but some glitches and ads. This game overall is a decent game. It’s a really fun game that is a good time-waister. The only issues- a couple glitches and the ads, just a little annoying and excessive. First off, when I go to place a block, there’s a slight chance it will glitch. Sometimes it will freeze and put it in the wrong place and it’s pretty annoying. Second, if I get game over and hover a piece over a certain spot, it appears in that spot in the next game. So honestly they’re not that bad but if this game’s corporate can fix this than it would be great. Lastly, the ads. There are a lot. I usually click out of the game when I get ads but you get an ad every time you lose and every time you restart which is pretty annoying eventually. So if you’re fine with all of this, it’s a great game and you should try it.

I LOVE THIS GAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I understand some people don’t like it, but I absolutely LOVE it! It’s relaxing, it keeps my brain active, there’s challenges, it’s really fun, there’s a lot of different things you can do with, it and it’s just an overall great game! I play it all the time it’s so fun. And it’s completely free, did I mention! There’s no in game purchases, and I’m pretty sure there’s only a few ads here and there. But overall, there’s not really any ads at all. actually so amazing game and no ads. (Insert applause 👏🏻) and plus, you can play it for as long as you want and never get bored of it! It never makes you stop with in game purchases or anything like that! so overall, it’s an amazing game with an amazing reputation, and an amazing everything!

Is the challenge gone?. I read a similar review to the one I’m about to post. I really enjoyed the part of the game where there was always a way forward if you thought about it hard enough. The new update has now removed that thrill from the game. Now once you hit 3000 points, the game algorithm now gives you pieces that are impossible to use. Is the reason for this to force users to watch advertising more? Genuinely the reason I like this game, so much is because it gives players hope. If there is always a way to solve it, but sometimes it is harder to find this way, the knowledge that it is possible keeps you going. I have started to find that it is not possible. Once you get to around three or 4000 points, the game just shuts you down and doesn’t let you progress no matter how skilled you are. If you take away hope, then it kind of makes you resent the game, and is crazy frustrating. Even if you have a completely clear board, there is nothing you can if the game automatically gives you that cannot be used. Please return it back to how it was before the last update!!!!!! Keep hope alive !

Amazing game. This game is so fun to play when you need to pass time. I love how you don’t have to drop the blocks to the bottom, like Tetris, therefore is easier, but still challenging and fun. The only thing I would like to change about this app, would be to make less ads. When you first download it, there are like no ads at all, which was great. As you keep on playing, it starts to put in more ads. Now, after every game I play, there is an ad. Watching an ad is fine for me, I get that people need some way to get people to download their game. But sometimes I think it’s unnecessary to have too many ands. In this case, I think It’s too many. However, despite the ads, it is still very fun, and I would definitely recommend getting this app.

Links At Bottom Popped Up Porn Sites. I loved this game and I was addicted to it. At the bottom there are links that you can accidentally click on and opens them in safari, that didn’t bother me since it’s websites for fixing your credit score or debt relief. Today I was playing the game and I didn’t even touch the bottom and it kept sending these links to safari, I didn’t pay attention because I’ll clear them out later. Thankfully I went and looked prior to my son wanting to look up something on my phone. I see different pages on my phone that were porn sites, and there were several of them. I couldn’t believe that the links at the bottom of the game are for porn sites, kids can play these games!!! I deleted the game since I don’t want my son to want to play the game and sends him to a porn site!!!!

Love the game - not the ads. This is such a fun game! However, the ads and adventures are not all kid-appropriate. I see no option to remove the ads or buy a paid version. I messaged tech support and have not received a reply in weeks. Sexually explicit games are often advertised on this app. The app also warns of adventure content, although I’ve not come across this issue yet. So disappointing as I’d love to support the game itself. I just don’t want my children viewing the ads or portions of the game with adult content. Why does a block game need to be anything besides a simple, fun, clean game? I only give it 2 stars because, despite the fun of the game - I really can’t enjoy it with my family. Definitely room to improve. Offer an ad-free version or choose age-appropriate ads so all-ages can enjoy the game.

Love the Game but …. I’m having trouble with ads in the middle of the game starting to jerk and flash then it takes over and it won’t let me go back to the game. Usually if I leave the game for at least half an hour or so I can return and play again. However, last night it did that again and locked the game up. I went back in this morning and it’s still locked up. I don’t get any more blocks to play. The worst ad is Candy Crush. I finally gave up and deleted the app. I’m hoping I can redownload the game and be able to play again. I usually play adventure. I wish you had a land set up where you could go from one adventure to another instead of waiting on the next one to come out. Other than these things it’s my favorite game.

Not like the ad says. I would like to say that in the ad, it is like a Tetris game. But, when I first got it, I was like, “This game is a lot like the game Blockudoku.” I was not that thrilled with this game anymore. It is almost way too easy and I just got his game about 4 days ago. I wish it was more like the ad to where there is a timer and the block rise as the timer goes down and you have to try to fit in the blocks into the gaps to make the block go down so that it does not reach the top. Ok game but black screen?. Very good and simple game that helps kill time, it gets that done. The ads are basically un-escapable yet there’s this random black screen like almost a pop up that appears out of nowhere as if I clicked on a pop up which I have not and it’ll remain on there. I’ll close and reopen and that takes care of it yet as time passed the black screen now pops up more frequently and quicker, I used to go a few rounds without seeing it but now it just pops up in about seconds after opening the app and this made me delete this. I have an iPhone 14 pro max, there’s no way is my phone. Other than that and the ads with no Xs to escape from or long time frames before it moves on to another add which makes me close and reopen which is quicker, everything else is decent.

Not a new Tetris. I do really enjoy the game. Ads are a much. But when advertised it shows a unique new style of Tetris but when it comes to actual game you basically putting puzzle pieces and making them fit. It is also a fun and unique way to play but you can’t even rotate or flip the pieces which does create a greater challenge but also limits the game. Lastly the competition mode of competition of all the puzzles before the next weeks round is like 100 mini games. I had some weeks were I was super focused and playing and still couple not get through all the levels. Again the ads didn’t help much with time. Especially the royal match ads they can take almost 2 minutes to finish the ad.

You’ve Already Heard This. But in a different way. Many have said that this game has too many ads. I must start out though first by saying that I really love the game. It is addictive—in a fun way. I’ve actually become pretty good at it. Whenever I like a game this much, I can live with ads. However, there comes that time when the number of ads and the length of them and the frequency of them outweigh the pleasure of playing the game. This happens when I find myself waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the a long ad to play—one that requires you to try it out before it will move to the next 15 seconds of hawking. My normal technique of swiping up and quitting the game, and then just launching it again doesn’t work for this game because it will just start the ad all over again at the beginning or where it was when I swiped up. I’ve reached that point with this game—the ads have overwhelmed this game. I’m uninstalling it.

Best Tetris game!!!. So Block Blast is definitely the best “Tetris game” that I’ve seen!! I really appreciate the simple gameplay and the minimal ads that it has. The only thing I dislike about it (its not even dislike it’s just a bit annoying) is that the adventure mode does not last longer. Because it’s so short, even if I get through ten, fifteen levels the first time I play the mode, I will definitely not finish the mode in its entirety. The levels get much harder in that mode as you play through them, and because of that I find myself playing less and less levels and not finishing the adventure mode in the 5 days that it gives you…otherwise, best game for passing time and is really addicting!

Block Blast. Block blast is a really fun game. The adventures, are really fun and hard challenges. Although most of the ads I see for this game are not 1,000% correct. The ads say that the game is where you drop the blocks but in reality you have three blocks and then you choose one to set down then you put down the other two, you keep doing this until you run out of space. Every time a row or column gets all the spaces full then it gets rid of that row, you get more and more points to try to get your high score. Though there are no levels so you kinda just free play. When playing this it gets a little annoying because there are so many ads, they are like 2-3 minute ads. In conclusion this game is very fun and I would recommend this game for people who like a little challenge.

Great but needs fixing.. Okay so I don’t usually write reviews but I feel this is needed to be said. I use to have an iPhone 6 that was old but it was better than nothing. I downloaded this app and played it FOREVER. It was the only game I played and since I didn’t have service on my phone(I do now) I used to play this for long car rides and stuff like that. But one day I was at my aunts playing this game and it froze completely. It stayed froze for a good 10 seconds until coming unfrozen and crashing. My high score didn’t save. I was frustrated and I didn’t play it again til the next day. The next night I was playing it and my whole entire phone was frozen. It wouldn’t unfreeze. It was stuck frozen for 1 whole hour until it finally reset. I deleted the app immediately. After a few months I got a new phone and wanted to download the app again. I haven’t had any problems but lags and ads. The ads are a big problem too. The ads are after every single game. I usually ignore the ads by exiting out of the game completely. Other then all of that it’s a good game.

Nothing like advertised. Like so many these days, the ad that’s supposed to entice us to the game is nothing like the real game. The real game is quite boring. The ad shows it’s like old school Tetris almost - but it’s not. Disappointing

Negative stars. Block blast is a stain on society, advertised as a completely non existent game, and then actually is a rip off of blockudoku. I have no respect for the game developers, if you’re going to advertise a pretty simple but interesting game, why not make that game? Rather than make a worse and not even equivalent version of what you advertise only to annoy the few customers you may have had. TL:DR make the game you advertised or just don’t make it at all…

It’s a great game 👍. I’ve been playing this game almost every day in my free time, it’s very addicting… Although the add I saw encouraging me to get this game made it look like a Tetris type of game and I was a little disappointed as it’s not like the adds, we can’t change the shape of the blocks and the size of the grid doesn’t change. Overall it’s a really good game. Adds - there isn’t as many adds as people complain about, there is an add if you fail the level or if you complete it, the adds don’t interrupt the game and there isn’t that many.🤷‍♀️

Weight loss adds - really?!. I really like playing this game and for the most part am more than happy to sit through the various ads for different games, etc. BUT lately I’ve started noticing ads for weight loss products. This has really tainted the game for me because as a society we face enough pressure to look a certain way, and considering this game is available for children to play, the inclusion of these ads is unacceptable to me. Do better. You don’t need to be pushing this down our throats for a game that is meant to be relaxing. Every time I see one of these ads I exit out of the game and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

The Ads get worse. The ads start off quick. Then gardenscapes ads start playing. The longer you play, the longer the ads get, and they last for more than a whole minute. If you hate the garden scapes ads as much as I do it really kills the enjoyment of the game. The game is great. Couple of different classic versions which are interesting, and the adventure challenges are fun and motivating. As the classic versions never end, so long as you keep making lines, it is a good game to wind down if you can’t sleep- no urgency involved. The classic games are the best way to avoid the ads as they don’t interrupt your play, only once a game ends. However the garden scapes ads ruin the zen. They’re not quick 5 second ads, there’s no option to skip for the one minute long ads and they drive me crazy.

Spoiled by ads. Quite a good game but ruined by incessant other game ads. I can tolerate some ads but this is the worst I have ever encountered. Also interesting algorithms behind the game. The block generation is far from random. At first it makes it easy for you but once you get to about 700 things change and the game deliberately seems you block combinations to make you fail. It’s like playing chess against Deep Blue - you have no chance!

They force you to fail - deleted. I enjoyed the app until I realised they force you to fail, they give you set of three blocks which is impossible to fit even when 75% cells are empty and remaining 25% are all in one group and sacked. E.g they give you two 3x3 blocks and one long bar. I thought that was a bug but it is systematic behaviour one you reach 1000 points. They want you to fail so you can see their ads. I don’t mind to see the ads when I fail by making a mistake or want to restart, or when I minimise/maximise app but in their game design they force you to fail as soon as possible no matter what skills you have, to maximise the revenue ruining game experience. Waste of time, stupid app, I quit.

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!. I love this game, and everyone says “there is to many adds” but I say there are barely any adds, I just love this game so much I play it everyday! I was going on a 13 hour drive and played it the hole way there, I was competing with my fiends one who could get the highest high score and it was soooo much fun!

Algorithm that causes you to fail.. Blocks are not randomly generated and are generated based off of the moves you make on the board. The game’s algorithm causes you to fail by generating blocks in the “challenges” so that you can never succeed in completing the level. I enjoyed this game until I realised that it is made for you to not be able to succeed. Advertisements at the end of each level after successes and failures, assuming to revenue raise. This game requires no skill to play.

I love the game, but the ads are tilting me.. This game is so good and I’m having so much playing it. But the fact that there isn’t even an option to pay to get rid of ads is absolutely ridiculous. Love the game but it’s crashed on me 4 times. Love this game. It is addictive. However, FOUR times now the game has crashed on me when I’ve got more than halfway through achieving the trophy on the ‘Adventure’ mode. It’s gone back to Level 1 with a new picture to fill to achieve the trophy at the top. I’ve had a tree, a hill with a cross and a couple of others. I’ve emailed support twice and heard nothing back. As much as I love it, I’m deleting it. What is the point of a game where you can’t actually achieve the trophy? And it hasn’t saved your progress? You can’t link it to Facebook so the hours of game play has gone. Really disappointed. There ARE also a tonne of ads, as people say, which are long and monotonous. I’m not sure what the end goal is but 4 times crashing and starting from scratch is enough for me. I’ll find something else to play. Disappointed.

I love the game but…….ADS. I started playing this before Christmas. Ads were only every 5 games or if you want to revive. That was great. Ads do not worry me that much unless they are getting repetitive. Recently I’m getting the ad banner down the bottom. And a Ad after level. Every after watching an ad for a revive. I just sat down and played 6 levels and had 5 ads for the Royal Match game. The Ads are getting worst. I get it Ads are needed for a free game. Buts it getting silly either have the Banner on the bottom or an video ad every 5 games. Almost close to uninstalling the app due to ads.

Absolutely Ridiculous.. The creators of this game need to do something to rectify the issues that it has. You have enough space to put a block and it tells you that there isn’t any room, this has happened on an absolute ridiculous amount of occasions. Not to mention that when you get a revive and you have to wait for the ad to finish that it freezes therefore not allowing you to get the revive that is owed to you. Amazing game! So addicting!. I absoluly LOVE this game! Very fun, very simple, 2 types of modes, and just super super SUPER enjoyable! So in my Overall rating it would of been a five stars however they will give you blocks that will not fit in even if there is lots of space everywhere and it is like this in every round just so that they can cram an ad in this would be such an amazing game as I have anxiety if it weren’t for this do better

Adding more grids. This game is really fun and nice and I like how it has no random ads that pop up every every once in awhile just a small change that I would like and I think many people would like is to make it a 10 x 10 instead of 8 x 8 and maybe even add more custom blocks that’s all I have to say thank you for making A good and relaxing game

Ads kill the game. The game itself is a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. However the ads ruined it and I eventually got fed up and uninstalled it. When the app was freshly installed the ads were only after every few rounds of the game. Then once you are hooked they are after every round. What’s worse, they take forever. It’s so bad I fact, it’s quicker to close and reopen the app.

Worst ads in any game I have played!. This game is moderately enjoyable in itself, but I’ve given it a low rating because it has the worst ad play in any phone game I have ever played. An ad plays between EVERY attempt at a level, and the ads are ridiculously long. Like, at least a minute each, if not longer. Sure, we all know that the sole purpose of these games is to present advertising to consumers, but this is next level. Thankfully it seems to work well on Aeroplane Mode, which means you can play without the ads. Wonder when they’ll close that off?

Possible paid version. I love this game — but the ads can get annoying. It would be great if there was a paid version for a few dollars to remove ads (definitely something I would buy).

Can get frustrating. If you the kind of person who gets better and want to win forget about on this one. Rigged as hell.. will never let you pass certain points no matter what you do.. and I figured they want to you to lose over and over so you watch their incredible long as ads.. absolutely ridiculous! Great Game. Too Many Ads. Absolutely love the game. But, having an ad pop up every single time you pass/fail a level or minimise the screen is too much and interrupts the enjoyment. I often abandon the game after a level or two from impatience. No option to remove ads. Ads make you watch the whole way through (usually at least a minute or so) and often click on them several times before they will close. Would be 5 stars without the ads or options to remove with a once off fee.

Ads are fake, game is good. I have played the game but the ads are completely different from the game but the gameplay is really good. The game is a block row clearing game but the ads depict a Tetris style game where you drop blocks. Isn’t the same as the ads portrays it to be. The ads for this games is a version of Tetris. This is not that. It’s a block placing game. There’s a few pluses - it’s not as mean as other versions of this game - it gives you more easy solutions. There’s also not a hectic amount of ads but the ones that are there seem to be longer and harder to get out of than others. Not sure if I’ll delete yet but I did really want that massive version of Tetris that this isn’t.

So many ads and not as advertised. I came to game from an ad from another game. It was nothing like it was advertised. The ad shows it like Tetris, with the block falling down. Absolutely amazing. This game is so unbelievably orgasmic that it makes me want to cry. The cycle goes: wow this game is pretty fun. Oh I lost. Oh an ad. Wow this game is pretty fun! Great game for anxiety. PRO’S - Love this game it helps to calm my anxiety especially when out and about, I’ll do a level of the adventure game and it reduces my anxiety. Levels get harder and unlike other games who use a small number of sequences to complete the levels, in this game there is a great number of different strategy plays so that it’s not in any way repetitive (each game is always different and requires a different pattern to achieve the goal), Con’s - there is no option to pay to remove adds or purchase the game for a fee with no adds. I would be happy to pay a one off fee to be able to play this game with No adds. There aren’t as many adds when you first start out but as you get thru the levels the adds seem to increase or during peak periods eg time of day, coming up to and after Christmas ect but they do settle back down to time of day so I tend to avoid using it during those times. I can understand that these apps get paid for each add you watch and more for watching the entire add but I’d much rather pay an up front cost for a good product than have that good product be an ok product due to adds.

Option. Hey guys I dont know what the business model for this game is, but I have a suggestion. How about you offer the option of making it adfree for a small fee-somewhere under $25 would be affordable for many players. Stella. Ps love love love the game

Horrible. This game is horrible! Everytime I lose I get ads up to a minute. I have to wait for like 30 seconds for the first ad, then another 30 seconds for another then finally I get to press this x button. Love the game, but these ads are very annoying, making the game hardly enjoyable. Also to note I chose this game from an ad on Facebook. However, the advertising was different to this one. In other I got a totally different game. Seems to me like this is just a scam.

I Love This Game. This game doesn’t lie about being addicting I started last month and now I can’t stop playing. It could have got 5⭐️ but there are adds which annoy me more then anything else, other then that the game is awesome 9.5 out of ten certainly would recommend 😊🤩

Ad not matching game. The ad I clicked on is NOTHING like the actual game. Why do game makers constantly do this? It was advertised as a Tetris style game with blocks that drop to fill lines and that is not this game. I played the game since I was tricked into downloading it and it was okay if not for the overbearing ads and impossible combinations that make sure you get frustrated and can’t get a high score often.

Ads finally made me delete. My brain finally said “enough!” to ads that make you wait, tap, tap, wait, tap. And a huge long one once you pass a level! Also the Adventure mode keeps starting from the bottom without me getting the trophy. Unfortunately this joins my list of Could Have Been Great games, so am deleting to save my mental health.

Fun game but can’t opt out of ads. I’m finding this game very addictive, but it’s also somewhat frustrating. They get you hooked and past a certain level there’s an ad after every level with without an opportunity to opt out. Being able to turn off, the ads would be a great thing, and I’m sure it would make financial sense for the decelopers, too, to offer a one time payment to turn off ads.

Ads ruin it. The game is good, I would give it 5 stars, but the ads really ruin it. I have sound turned off in the game, but the ads are full volume. They pop up any point when you finish a game, going for a long time and not having the option to exit them. THEN you have to click to close them usually 4 times in a row! The ‘x’ pops up and when you click it, it brings you to the App Store. So you click done and it takes you back for another extended ad. People would pay to remove the ads, they’re about equal to the playing time which is draining my battery and causing me to stop playing after a handful of games.

Fav game! I’m totally addicted!. It’s just so fun and when I go to play a game this is my go to. Sure there are ads but not so many that you want to delete the game after like 20 mins. I’ve been playing for weeks and it’s not a let down. Definitely suggest!

Designed to make you fail. Good game except… it sets you up with impossible options. It’s not a game of skill. It’s a game of luck, luck that it gives you blocks you can use. I don’t mind “hard”. Sure with the 3 blocks offered each time make it hard to use them in the right order in the right places, but don’t give blocks that it’s impossible to use. You can play the same level 50 times and it’s a matter of luck of it eventually gives you the blocks to complete a level. Hard… good. Challenging… excellent. Impossible… ridiculous. It’s like playing Russian roulette more than playing a game of any skill.

Love this game 💕. I started playing this game on holiday last year and I couldn’t put it down, it’s so much fun. It’s easy to pick up without having prior knowledge and you can play for a few minutes or hours depending on what time limitations you have. If you like puzzles and games then try this one I’m sure you will enjoy it as well.

It’s okay. I downloaded block blast a few days ago, and I’ve been addicted ever since. I’m a little dissatisfied with the difference between the ads and the actual game. Also, there are small ads below the game. They show people kissing and doing gross stuff. If you want children to play a game like this, I’m sure there are others exactly the same with less adverts. It’s still a good game though!!!

Great game! Wish there was an option to get rid of ads. Absolutely love the game, am wasting lots of time playing it. Runs well and is engaging. The only reason I’m not putting 5 stars is because I wish there was an option to pay a small fee to get rid of the ads. That being said once you get used to them they aren’t tooo bad and invasive. Just stretches the time between games and can take away from the experience.

Love this game❤️. I love spending time playing this game it’s so easy to get all the colours you need without much fuss. It’s enjoyable and easy to pick up. It’s a bit like the old Retrus game ( I think that is the right spelling m, however I’m not 💯 sure you might have to look it up yourself. Enjoy ☺️

Ads. The ads are next level, put the phone down, open the phone again, before you can carry on another ad! as soon as you finish a level, ad. The game is addictive and easily passes time. Once you get past the ads this is an enjoyable game. This game doesn’t ask for money at every opportunity either.

Adds cheat.. There are quite a lot of adds. The usual deal. +30 second Add video. You click out. It takes you to app store. You click out. It shows you a “playable” demo, that takes you to the app store if you click. Another 30 seconds gone. Then you wait 15 seconds while “playable” demo sits there to quit. Its faster on iphone to force close the app as soon as add starts and reopen game between lvls. It skips the add and you save a heap of wasted time. As for lvls. They appear to repeat. And its all “random” luck as to what blocks appear. Several tries on a lvl and the lvl is impossible. Then all of a sudden you’ve finished it with no challenge. Others have noticed it to by the reviews. Its fun and fills in time. But gets repetitive.

Not as many ads as people make it seem. Ads is the first thing I talk about and then I talk about how I feel about playing it. Ads: As the title says there aren’t as many ads in this game from what people say there are. The one review with the glitch press x brings to App Store thing is just a glitch any phone does every now and again. There are a lot less ads in this game then most games that run ads in this store. The people saying they can’t handle the ads have never played any other app game besides this. Yes there are a few app games with zero to little ads but this is the best you can get with ads. Play: I enjoy this game better compared to the other games like this. I like the idea of getting a certain number of gems before you can move on to the next level in adventure mode. I like trying to beat my high score in classic. Yes it’s not perfect but I think it’s one of the best block (they all have different names) game I have found so far.

Ads are too long. This game is great but I can’t stand working through the lengthy ads- especially for Royal Match! Way too annoying to stick with the game.

ANNOYING ADS. I want to like this game, I like the concept and that’s why I put up with it but having a long ad after EVERY single new game or revive is so irritating it makes it unbearable and I’ll be looking for another app that maybe has similar gameplay but not as awful for ads…..

Very frustrating!. #1. Too many ads that are long and take away from the playing of the game. #2. Even more frustrating is that I have reached about Level 56 ( and even Level 81 one time!!) and then suddenly, it doesn’t allow me to play and continue anymore! Each time it just cancels my game and I end up back at Level 1!!

Adds/impossible. When doing the levels I got an impossible shapes I couldn’t do anything about it and I had to re-do the level multiple times with the impossible shapes for example the 9 square block when what I can please are 2 lime blocks also the adds are way to long and the same add over and over again that you can’t even try and you add in other games shows you dropping the block this game is placing don’t do false advertisement.!

Use airplane mode to disable ads. Thanks to all the ads, I only play this with my phone on airplane mode which gets rid of them all. The game itself is fun, although it feels like it deliberately screws you - it starts off with lots of easy shapes that fit together nicely but as soon as your score hits about 2500-3000 it starts throwing really awkward shapes at you that end your game pretty quickly. Despite playing hundreds of times, I can’t get a score over 4800, although I accept that I may just be bad at it.

UPDATE: Excessive Ads. There are SO many ads it makes the game almost unplayable. Every single time you win or lose you have to sit through repetitive ads and many times the whole app glitches and you’re stuck staring at the screen waiting for the close X to pop up for nothing. Great game but the ads are f-ing awful. Edit: since the last update you now have to sit through even more adds and if you leave the game to check a message for more than 30 seconds, when you come back you have to watch another ad. The worst part is the ads show game play of games that don’t actually exist in that form. It’s insane.

Why?. Every time i’m about to lose, I watch an ad so I can revive myself. But lately, i’ve been trying what I usually do, but it loads, nothing happens, tells me to tap to continue, and then it says game over, umm... Why!? 🤨

Board got wiped!. I was playing in the adventure boards and was halfway up all the levels when it got totally wiped and I’m back to board 1! Forget it! Not doing that all over again- and my phone was in perfect working condition. Wasn’t a problem on my end! Disappointing because I did enjoy the game.

Fun until it's not. I liked this game at first. It makes me think about more than one thing at a time and how to fill in spaces efficiently while also getting rid of rows. But every single time, and I mean EVERY TIME, there's a space too small for certain pieces or facing the wrong way, it gives me pieces that make me lose. Every time With some apps I turn off wifi and then turn off mobile for it so that I don't get ads. As soon as I did that, the game never let me get past 1500 points. Sure some of it might be me, but the way it keeps happening is kinda sus. Deleting this. Don't bother getting it

Fun but there’s a drawback. This game is fun and I enjoyed playing it for a little while. But the adventure mode starts over and takes you back to the beginning after a couple weeks. It is annoying because the first few levels of adventure are so easy that they’re boring. And You have to play those everytime the adventure mode changes before you can get to the fun challenging ones. But plus side it has less ads than some games

To Many Ad’s. Just wanted to say I truly love the game but when attempting the adventure path with gives you more variety and challenge you have to watch a 30s video every minute and a half or so. It becomes absolutely ridiculous and there is no way to stop the constant ads that are the same thing over and over again. If you play the classic and do the same thing over and over there are far less. I wish there was a way to stop the ads but they don’t offer it that I have seen.

Ads are RIDULOUS!!!. I actually love playing this game… but as the title of my review says… the ads are RIDICULOUS!! They are way too many and they last unnecessarily LONG! Some are like 2 minutes and you can’t turn the sound off unless you silence your phone! Some try and force you to play the game it’s advertising and others you just have to sit there and watch and then press exit and close buttons over and over again! Unlike the Ad. I’m going back to Tetris. I don’t quite understand the format here. Blocks and shapes can be placed at the top, they don’t fall down as shown in the ad. The characteristics of colors, sometimes matters, and then other times it doesn’t. I couldn’t follow that. Then when lines blast away, it’s nothing like the simulation shown in the ad. That’s disappointing. I don’t like when developers show some great graphic features in the ad, but once the game is downloaded, those things are not present. Overall I’m not seeing what was advertised at all. I think we call this practice “ bait & switch”.

This version is buggy. Once an ad loads it’s over. In this case it’s Royal Match. The dumb ad loads, even though the screen is black. When it finishes loading there is no way to get back to the game. There’s no X on the screen. When you do touch the screen it takes you to the App Store to download Royal Match. You just have to wait the 12+ hours for the game to boot up again. It’s super frustrating. I emailed support and they wrote that it’s not their fault. Try turning off the Wi Fi, which I did, and nothing changes.

Great game, disturbing ad. I’m as addicted to this as I was the original Tetris. It’s hard to stop playing, but there is one obstacle that makes me turn it off. There is an ad for a video game — they don’t tell you what it’s name is until you’ve been directed to the App Store and I have shut the whole thing down by then. It is very realistic, pictures disturbing content like kidnapping, and the gamer is the sniper “savior” who rescues everyone (in his fantasies). It justifies sniper activity in everyday situations and feeds the “good guy with a gun” fallacy. Unpleasant and unsuitable.

Where is the adventure?. I love this game because the adventure part was fun. I blasted through the levels and it would t let me replay them so I deleted the app and downloaded it again and the adventure was gone. That part was fun. Please bring it back. Even if it has levels slowly added it is still fun to play the levels. This is a fun game. You should download it. If you get to play the adventure part it is cool cause it is different than the other block games.

Overly intrusive junk.. I actually love the game play. But there are ads after literally every level, and sometimes when you open the app. This completely ruins the game. And the interstitial ads are IN ADDITION to the banner ads they show when you’re playing. I don’t mind supporting good developers who write great apps, and this game could be great. I wouldn’t mind paying to remove the ads, but I can’t. And some of the ads are over 30 seconds long, and there are a bunch you can’t fast-forward through. My advice: don’t install this game, despite the fact that it’s a good game. You’ll spend more time looking at ads then you spend actually playing.

Please bring back the previous version. I’ve seen multiple reviews similar to the one I’m about to write. Please go back to the previous version where a player can get past 5,000 points. Honestly, the fun is gone because it’s like the game stops between 3,000-6,000. I think a lot of people enjoyed the challenge of how many points they can get and you completely took that away. The game is more frustrating than fun/challenging now. Will probably delete if it doesn’t go back. The new update missed the mark.

Game is fun but ads are infuriating. The ads will somehow override the volume controls and play on full blast even when sound is on silent. I have it set to where the game has no sound or music, and even when I turn my phone on silent and turn the volume all the way down, the ads are still blaring. Absolutely rage inducing. They also have trick spots in the ads where it looks like you can close it, but you really are just clicking on the ad. If these issues were fixed, the game would be 5 stars for me. That’s how terrible these ads are.

One issue. I enjoy this game. The only issue I have is the game will go to a black screen and the only way to get it back is to delete and reinstall it. That takes me back to the beginning and I lose all my progress when I’m doing the adventures. I was on level 86 out of 98 when this happened with 4 days left. Lots of time wasted. Please fix the issue. It would be a disappointment to delete the game permanently.

Love the game. I really love playing this game and have been for quite a few months. I would have given it 5 stars but all of a sudden it has no sound. It starts out with sound and then after a few minutes it is gone. Is this a glitch? I have gone to my settings and there is no problem showing up there. I hope you can fix it. Loved the game - too many ads. I really loved the game! But there were simply too many ads. I removed the app when one of the ads showed a girl on the toilet while a guy was walking to another room…. Really? The game is great! But there is no way to purchase and remove ads… I got tired of watching the Royal match, triple play and gardenscapes ads, they were long and annoying so I dumped the app

So great I would pay for an ad-less experience. In an era of mobile games that are greedy cashgrabs spammed with needless add-ons, and subscriptions, this game is a breath of fresh air. My only gripe is the ads. I get getting one before and/or after a level, but getting one after exiting the app for not even a second is annoying. Please let us pay to remove ads permanently, with the obvious exception of the ads you get for a revive, which i’ll admit have saved me on hard levels.

Scam!. So many ads! As the game advances you get less blocks as needed so of course more ads and you have the option to purchase to stop ads but guess what? The ads do not stop. And of course you will never get you’re money back . How Apple allows this no one really knows but I’m sure they get there cut from these lousy game developers like this one. Who have no idea how to make a fun game for people to enjoy. But I guess that’s what we get from a woke culture of idiots…DELETE!!

Don’t bother. The game was good for awhile. I finished the adventure which is 48 levels and it took some time. But then, if I failed a level and then it give you the retry button and you weren’t able to click the retry. Couldn’t back out of the game either. You would have to completely close the game and reopen it. It got so annoying that I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, losing all the work I did on the game the previous download. It worked for about 6 levels where I was able to click the retry button, then that stopped so I uninstalled it again for good. There’s games like this one all over the App Store it’s just not worth the hassle.

Too many ads-kills the game. Great game but it’s got more ads than prime time television in 1985. I’ll play a game with ads, shoot, I’ll buy a game so I don’t have to watch ads. But this game takes it to a whole new level. Here’s how it’ll go if you choose to download it: you’ll play your first couple rounds and there won’t be an ad. Then, by the 3rd round you won’t be able to proceed without watching 45sec - 1min ads. They’ll even fabricate a loss so you need to watch ‘em. It’s brutal. Absolutely kills the game. Save yourself the trouble and download something else.

Adventure. I’m really sad. I’ve had the game a couple months and preferred to play the adventure but the last week or 2 it wasn’t working right. It reset all the way back to the beginning and changed the type of adventure it was but still had puzzles and then all of a sudden a couple of days ago just stop loading at all. so I removed the app and then re-download it just now and that functionality is completely gone and the only other option than regular play is to turn it into Tetris which I don’t wanna play, so I just completely deleted the app. I’m really disappointed. It was fun the way it was.

Ads make it unbearable. The ads are way to long, require constant clicking and are the same ads over and over in between each round. It got so bad I had to take breaks just to stop seeing the same ads. I don’t need to see Royal Clash ad for 60 seconds over and over. If I haven’t clicked buy it in first 200 times, why would I on my 201st? But the end for me was when all of a sudden my progress was completely lost. After making my way 2/3 through all the adventure rounds and watching those ads hundreds of times, I had to start from the beginning again. Nope. Deleted and good bye.

Love the game hate the ads. I love this game, but want the option to purchase an ad free version. The no - stop ads are torture! I would happily pay them to stop. Love the game- keeps me sharp and great pastime when I can’t sleep or are just waiting for something. I enjoy more than boring, mind-rotting videos on social media. I was a big Tetris fan growing up but like this better. My high score is 17,609 and hope to break 20k soon if the ads ever stop 😂

Ads. The game is good. The levels are fun and I like the game itself. However, the adventure levels come with too many ads. I can’t listen to music when playing this game because the ads cut my music off. In other games there’s usually an option to pay a one time fee to get rid of the ads, that’s not offered in this one. The amount of ads is ridiculous too. One ad after almost every level is unnecessary. I would have given higher stars if the ads didn’t block me from playing as much as I’d like to.

An Ad After Every Turn. I really love this game. I’ve been playing it for about a year now. But you have to watch an ad EVERY time you lose and EVERY time you win! Jeez. It’s just becoming too annoying! If you lose, you can’t try again w/o having to watch an ad even though you’re trying/playing the same level again. And when you finally beat the level? You have to watch an ad too! Seriously. Too. Much. There’s not even an option to pay for no ads. I love this game so much that I’d be willing to pay. Instead, I’m deleting the game. Good game 1 complaint. I love this game I wish that the adventures were a little bit longer and the one thing that stopped me from giving it all five stars is the fact that there’s not an option to purchase because the amount of ads that show up, and it’s the same ad, over and over and over again!! It is so frustrating! Just give me an option to purchase the game so I don’t have to sit through 20 ads every time I want to spend some time playing.

Ads. I love playing this game for a 70 year old lady it keeps my brain a little sharper. I am ok with ads however when an ad stretches out to last over 1 minute I start getting aggravated then when an ads seems to get stuck I have to just leave the game. Gave up. I don’t mind ads, though I normally would rather pay something and not have ads. However, the ads on this game last for a long time every time you lose the game which is fairly often. I just don’t have the time to sit around, listening to inane advertising, trying to get you to add some silly game. So I gave up. I have deleted it from my screen and will find other things to do. It’s obvious that the majority of people have problems with the ad and the developers have no intention of listening to the players. I suspect the game will not last long.

Game intentionally rigged. After you get to a certain threshold, whether it be in adventure mode or in classic, it gives you pieces you literally cannot work with or it’ll start intentionally failing you the moment you get a new set of pieces. I know it’s intentionally rigged as well as in one of the levels I changed up my beginning strategy to fit the pieces it was giving me, only for it to change the pieces given to me the moment I switched my strategy. The game is just fueled by forcing you to just consistently watch ads that are UNSKIPPABLE btw. Terrible game, truly. No real complexity until you hit their appointed limit.

Not as advertised. I downloaded it after watching an ad on Instagram and it was shown as a regular Tetris game. The ad showed pieces falling and you putting them In place to clear the lines. So once I opened the game and realized it’s filling a space with premade pieces I was disappointed. I then played for a bit and the music cuts off after like a minute. I actually like the sound when I place the blocks and I tried restarting the app and the sound just won’t last longer than a minute. Really brings down the enjoyability of the game. Overall. Not what was advertised and even when I gave it a shot, it had issues

Good app if you enjoy the 2 minute ridiculous ad from Royal match. The game play is actually fun but now my screen changes to add after every 3 plays, not at the end of the level anymore. And then you’re stuck with that fake affords royal match, which I’ve tried as well and it’s NOTHING like they advi!! Stay away from both of these, I’ll review more now that I’m done with this one you the player need to decide if you ultimately want to watch ads or play games? Because it’s apps like this that are killing the gaming apps everywhere!!

Stop the Reset!. I actually really like this game… but I HATE the “groundhogs day” vibe each week from them resetting your levels back to 1! I made it to level 55 at the end of a week (yay!) so guess what- I DO NOT want to start back again at level 1 again. Why do that?! Each level is increasingly more challenging (& takes more time) but with resetting each week I’ll be doing the same 50 levels over and over. Boring. Why not just reset it once you complete all 99 levels?! Or add more challenging levels past that?

Fun for every skill level. My husband and I recently completed an adventure. Of course, we had to race. He had a significant head start, but I caught up quickly. We were on the same level with the same obstacles. However, my points needed were about 25% higher than his. It was great to see the game be able to adapt to the individual skill level so it would be both challenging and attainable for every player. Thanks!

Too too tooo tooo many ads. The game is interesting but I am so sick of the frequency and lack of variety in the ads. I could understand if it presented an ad for every level failure but they give the same ad between eatery level. Some of the ads are just too long. If they would vary the duration of the ad it might soften the pain but they just keep presenting the same ad for the same game over and over. If you are still reading this and telling yourself “I got it, you do not need to keep repeating the same garbage over and over” you are experiencing this game

The ads are waaaay too long. The game is fun, but I don't like how you don't see which pieces are coming up next- that makes it just as much about luck as it is about logic. The ads are ridiculously long. Much longer than gameplay when you are in adventure mode. And the ads are even more obnoxious than they need to be, because the commercial part ends, and then you're forced to just look at the unmoving picture for another 15 seconds. Half the time when I click the X to close the ad, it takes me to the ad download page. I think this is the first game I've downloaded that doesn't give you the option of paying a couple of dollars to permanently remove ads.

Great game, definitely would recommend. I got this game because I saw my mom playing it a lot. When I got it I immediately started playing it praying and hoping that it wasn’t one of those dumb puzzle games that make you solve games that you might get board of the second you get it. It wasn’t! It’s really brain teasing and it makes you think ahead. I really enjoyed this game!

Fake ads. I’m guessing you downloaded this game because of there ads?…..So I downloaded this game thinking I was getting this game that wears showing in the ad (it looked really fun) didn’t get what the ad showed, it gives us this Tetris game where you can’t even flip the pieces!!!!!..and do I even have to even say this (SO MANY ADS) and by 5 minutes the game gets boring I ended up uninstalling the game the same day I installed it, I ended up installed it again thinking maybe you have to be a certain level or something to go what game the ad shows….never did so don’t play this game and don’t waste your time downloading it.

More ads than game. I timed myself and for every game, I spent three times as long waiting for the ads to finish in between each puzzle. I get it that the app developers need to make money but there must be a better way. I have other games that I subscribe to. The ads on this and the games I play with the same ads (so I’m guessing the same company?) are great games but I chose them because they are “relaxing”, the shear amount of time spent on those awful ads is in no way relaxing! What about making a bundle offer of a certain number of games ‘ad free’ or with banner ads for a subscription? I would be happy to pay to play but not this.

Gets too difficult too soon. Games that are too easy or too hard are no fun. This game seems straight forward enough, where you can figure out where to place prices to clear enough space for the next ones. But once you get to 2 or 3000 points, it’s just becomes impossible. I guess they want you to keep watching ads (which are horrendously long). Also, there’s no progress goal (like the games where you’re fixing a old manor house, fish tanks, farmlands, etc), so it all just seems pointless. I’m deleting it. No need to torment myself further.

5 star game with annoying adds. The game is great! It challenging but fun - a bit addicting even! However, you have to watch adds between every level and anytime you need to restart a level. There is no way to buy an add-free version! I’d be happy to pay a few bucks to play the game without adds and would happily give it 5 stars. Instead I always loose patience with the long adds and give up playing after five or so minutes of playing.

Ad-Free Version Please!!!!!. Like many others have said, we would pay a few dollars for this game to have no ads. The game is relaxing, simple, and the sounds are relaxing (I keep the music turned on in the game). But, those ads are too often, last too long, and, frankly, the ads ruin the entire experience of this game! After being thrown into an ad 4-5 times in just a matter of minutes I just give up and close out the app altogether. I love the game—but will come back when you decide to offer an ad-free version.

Previously 2, now 5 stars: Game 1st, Advertisements 2nd. Recent updates changes are most welcomed. Most block games are “rock, paper, and scissors” by design to make you fail so that you can retry but not without watching an ad first. When you’re about to win in the next 3 moves and have a “scissors” layout and they hand you a “rock”, thats when I uninstall. Puzzle piece randomness is fair, algorithm for more ads is not. Unlike other block puzzle games, the dev’s recent updates made it so you get less “rock” puzzle pieces and more “paper”. Won’t that make it boring? No because this is Tetris at the baseline. I’ve tried many other block games and all were uninstalled within 5 games because of their unfair fixed algorithm to force players to lose. Right now I’m on my 2nd tournament in adventure mode with over 70 games clocked. I think the dev(s) can make more ad and anon data collecting revenue off of that vs the other games who push you to lose so they can get one more ad out of you.

Game won’t let you move forward. First of all this game is advertised as Tetris. You know, the OG kind with the pieces falling down. It’s not. It’s puzzle. That was my first issue. Second is that the game is literally designed to make it impossible for you to advance. If you are getting into a tight situation, the chances of you being able to get out of it are zero because even if you fit your current 3 pieces, the next three pieces you’ll get will 100% be pieces you can’t fit. It’s so weird. Sure, it should be challenging but that just feels bogus.

Unplayable. The forced ads in this game make it unplayable. Literally you have to close the game after every level or loss to avoid being forced to watch an ad. There is no option to mute the ads until they start playing often auto pausing whatever audio you may be listening to at the time. There’s no option to purchase an ad free option. The 4 and 5 star reviews on the app page are seeded by the developer. They’re nearly 100% fake. And dear developer, before you respond with an “ads keep our game free” response. I don’t care. Ads make your app trash. DOWNLOADER BEWARE, you’ll spend more time skipping ads and closing the app than you will playing.

Bring back the stories in adventure mode!. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the stories in adventure mode! When I first downloaded the app each level in “adventure” told another part of a sweet/simple story, but now they’ve turned it into each level just adding another pixel to a very basic picture; that you can most of the time guess what it is based on the shape. Playing “adventure” it is the same goal criteria/per level, every new adventure; but what I loved about this game was the story that it told along with it. It was always a cute uplifting story w/ fun illustration’s….but they no-longer do that. Now they just have you complete a very basic pixelated pic as you complete the adventure. It’s a fine game that I still play, but this change in “adventure” mode makes me want to rate it a 2.5-3 as compared to the previous 4-4.5, that I would have given it when they had the stories.

Addicting, fun game with too many ads. To the developers, would you pretty please considering offering a paid version of this app so we don’t have to watch all of the ads? It is painful to have to watch so many, especially when at times the levels only take a few minutes. At times it feels like I spend more time watching ads than playing. That is my only critique - the game is so fun. Simple yet challenging.

It’s fun, but glitchy. While I enjoy the game, it can be rather frustrating. I understand that it makes sense for the game to know when nothing else will fit. Alas, it’s decision doesn’t always match my screen. When it gives me my next three pieces and they don’t fit the space, I have left I understand. What I don’t understand is when they clearly WOULD fit and the game declares otherwise. It happens at least once any day I play. Today it happened with half the board open.

No Setting? No Dump Ads Option?. I enjoy the game but we have no choice but to watch ads. Would love to be able to purchase the “No Ad” option. But on the positive side, the game is relaxing and fun…until the ads pop up. PLEASE give us an option to buy out ads. I play this game a lot but the ads are REALLY starting to not me. You’d better wise up because there are plenty of similar games people can move on to.

Ad sound issues. Fun game my only issue is multiple times the sound has played on ads (that can’t be skipped) despite having my phone on silent *and* the game settings set to no sound. One of the ads (candy crush) didn’t even have a mute option in the ad itself like many of them do! Would’ve been v embarrassing if I was like… playing a game during a meeting or something… not that anyone does that! Developers please fix.

Great game, but slight glitch. The game is wonderful, it’s the first app out of all I go on to play, but whenever the solitaire ad comes on, I can’t always exit out and I have to turn off my phone to play it again, and it would sometimes freeze for a few seconds before I can play when I move a block, but other than that, the block blast app is amazing, I would recommend it to everyone.

Don’t like new version at all. 1. I do not like the male voice. I liked the lady. Maybe you could give options? 2. I do not like the new shapes at all. It often seems I can’t fit them in anywhere. Before, I could often see my error and knew the pieces would have fitted had I planned better. I loved planning ahead in case the large block or a corner piece came up. I do not want to anticipate where I might put these new shapes. If I wanted Tetris, I’d play that. I will delete this game if it doesn’t go back to what it was before. My grandkids LOVED the original one, but can’t figure out planning ahead for the new shapes either. This is a deal breaker for me, and I LOVED the original game. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

SUPER FUN GAME, Disturbing ads. I love this game, from the challenges to the free play, even the amount of ads is reasonable I LOVE IT. Best block puzzle app out there. My only complaint is that there are some very disturbing ads, for those crazy extraction game. Theres this one particular one that’s “foot extraction” and it makes me feel physically ill when it pops up on the screen, I have to cover the bottom half of my screen until the x pops up. So could you guys include some type of ad preference settings? Like a “did you enjoy this ad?” sort of thing, cause I don’t mind most of the ads but the extraction game ads make me want to vomit and deter me from playing the game for very long.
