More glitches than features.. This app is unstable. It randomly forgets/deletes my payment information, making me suspicious of their data security. Attempting to reset a password resulted in 8 separate emails and a verification loop I feared would never end. The location feature rarely functions and my rewards points change without reason.

Terrible security, impossible to contact support. My account was hacked and used to fraudulently purchase gift cards half way across the country from me. No notification that my information was changed within the app. When I realized the change and charges I couldn’t even easily contact customer support. I couldn’t even delete my account in app, I had to fill out a google form, which is ridiculous.

Can’t get past the registration. The app makes you create an account. When you get to phone number the number keyboard comes up. But there’s no enter button and the keyboard is over the next button so you are stuck there.

New app. It’s had to place an order, it has a glitch keeps flashing, can’t press button. Takes forever to place order, I put my location, and try to place my order, takes me back to location.

Good but... The app is great, but a little slow to open, and not all flavors have the option of no sugar so when ordered with out picking a sugar option it goes to regular sugar amount, and I wish I can add the receipts that I had to build up points from every time I’ve ordered in store and not used the app, but will still shop here cause thier tea is great.

Won’t let me pick a password now. Since they had me reset my password since they revamped everything. Now I can’t log in my account and change the password. Any password I put is invalid I try about 20 different password all including and not including caps and numbers and unique characters.

Cute app needs work. Ever since the new update I can’t add funds to my wallet. It keeps giving me an error even after I delete and re install the app.

This app is at another level of garbage.. This app is horrible secure and bad at its own system. Someone used this app with my account and easily bought $200 worth of gift cards on the app with secure or anything. They used my saved payment and bought it, no question asked, just straight from my account. And the funnier thing that this app don’t even have any other extra step of secure when you do anything. Do not put your card number in this app. Do not use the app. I wasted an hour of my life to report to my bank and I’m waiting to get my money back.

Glitchy and inconsistent. Cancels orders, credit card or payment suddenly doesn’t work, doesn’t register certain parts of orders, the list goes on. The deals aren’t very good and the seasonal drinks aren’t usually up to date. They don’t specify which drinks have caffeine so you have to guess, and drink alterations aren’t always available. I wish they hadn’t changed from their old app, it’s been a frustrating downgrade.

no delivery ?. i love this app and always use it when i want to order drinks but i have not been able to get delivered lately it says that my location is unavailable for delivery but i used to get it delivered all the time and i'm only about ten minutes away so i don't understand ?

Makes my orders easier. KFT is my fave boba and the app makes ordering easy 🧋

No options not to use rewards. I tried using my T-Mobile Tuesday $2 off coupon today. Found out with the new app that I cannot NOT use my rewards money. There’s no option not to use my rewards money and only use my T-Mobile $2 credit. I was forced to use the rewards cash that I was going to save for another day. I don’t like this new feature on the updated app.

Now even easier to order my favorite drink!. I always tend to order bubble tea after work but the parking at my favorite Queens Crossing store is not ideal. I downloaded the app and I never have to wait on my drinks. Passion fruit Green Tea ftw!

My account got hacked and I lost $52. I started using the app since the store recommended using it for pickup orders, and within 1 month of using it I got charged for $52 in the beginning of July and my account was deleted. App has serious security issues and needs to be fixed ASAP!

Login not working + “admin changes”. It took me about 5 password resets and app installs in order for me to log in one day, and it said I had around 1600 bubbles, only for me to log in later the same day for them to be taken down to 40. The next day, the session expired so I tried to log in but it still gives me the same error of “password or email incorrect.” Please fix this and give me back my bubbles

So helpful. Rebian frankly duc all three current employees were fantastic by giving me ideas on how to order more efficiently. they’ve also been kind in the past by letting me have a different selection. Great food great customer service.

Still slow and full of bugs even after update. Even after the updated version, this app is still very slow and I have to uninstall and reinstall just to make it work….probably one of the worst apps for Boba.

This app just does not function. I don’t know if y’all were trying to cut corners, but this app does not WORK. It can never remember my password. It logs me out every single time I’m trying to order. I’ve reset my password so many times just to order a stupid drink. The old app worked perfectly fine.

Worst reward app. I always have to take time to sign in to the app. It’s now telling me i have to reset my password because of a new system yet it won’t let me change it. I shouldn’t have to put money in it to get points i should just be able to scan and pay with my card in case it’s a quick stop. Horrible reward app the worst that i have. So horrible that i don’t even use it when i purchase which discourages me from even purchasing it unless rare occasions.

Fix it. The app worked perfectly for the longest time and now it’s been broken for weeks, where is the fix? The latest “bug fix” update did nothing for the login and password problems that everyone is having. Look at the recent reviews and do something about it

Good App needs a little work. An address is wrong should be 2540 Old Denton (not 2580) and because it doesn’t match the drop down it won’t allow me to add in a ‘Forgot Scan’. Also there was no size choice of Large in classic tea. Please add a ‘scan barcode’ type feature at your checkout similar to Starbucks. Overall good basic functional app. Love the Oolong tea!!

The app is great, just missing a few features. I have had this app for years. Overall it works and functions as it’s supposed to. In the newest version, they took off the option to tip which I do not like since I never have money on me, just my phone and I pay with the app. Also, I really wish it would show how many bubbles you need before the next belt. They also used to have way more promotions and now I rarely see them.

Slow, not updated enough. Like the other reviews say, the app moves slowly and the promos listed are not up to date. Or maybe the company is just trying to get even more money by not allowing promos to apply to app orders? So that you either have to order in store for the promo or give up and order for pickup anyways? Also, what’s up with the *24 hour* expiration on the free boba promo when you download the app? That doesn’t sit right with me either

Beautiful app. I live this app! Makes the whole experience seamless and beautiful! Definitely recommended!

Buggy. 1. My payment methods disappear every few weeks, so I keep having to add back my credit card which doesn’t give me great confidence in their security or data storage 2. My purchase history is missing purchases from 2-3 weeks ago. 3. My reward bubbles seem to change randomly even when I haven’t made purchases. Guessing it’s bugs fixes causing the changes? It’s changed so much I’ve given up trying to figure out what’s right or wrong.

No Apple Pay. No Apple Pay integration. Pretty sure their storing your credit card information in an improper way. Ie. it’s not private or not private and not encrypted. Will be deleting and not reinstalling but who knows if they’ll delete my card info or not.

Hackers. The worst app! Not safe to add card information to. When you try to get a refund for a delivery sent TO ANOTHER STATE, the store cannot refund you and you are given a round about answer from GrubHub. Do not trust this app with your payment information!!

Limited usefulness. It is difficult or impossible to access, advertise special by way of the app. I found it cumbersome to use, particularly the login ritual and very limited and usefulness with a menu this small you should be able to access everything easily in the restaurant it does not actually save you much time, if any

Can’t reset password but I need to make a new one?. I hate to leave a bad review but I’ve both uninstalled and redownloaded the app several times, been told to verify my account. I do , then it tells me to change my password so I try to but it says it can’t? And even with a reference codes I get to reset , it says those codes aren’t valid? 😭😭 idk why it’s been like this. I’ve even waited several days and tried again

Bad app. I feel KFT is not honest, always try to take more money than what you think you are paying. The app doesn’t show you that you are getting the discount that you think you are getting. End up paying more or I have to call to get refunded

Flavors/Options not available. There has been several times that the app shows a flavor available at my local KFT but when I order through the app and arrive at the location I am advised that they don’t have the flavor and I have to pick another flavor (which is another wait). If the location doesn’t have the flavor then the app shouldn’t show it available at the location.

Password Reset. The app keeps loggin me out everytime I open it. I go to put my password in and it gives me an incorrect error. Even though I know it’s not incorrect I change the password in hopes to getting into my account. Literally as soon as I reset it, it says it’s incorrect. At this point I just want access so I know my card information is no longer on there so I can delete it and be done with it. Screw the points!

Disappointing. Integrity in this world of apps and paying with an easy scan is difficult with so many predators but to not even acknowledge a huge fault was disappointing. I get it can happen to anyone but to continue to get pretty harassing emails about ticket #s and have to repeat myself of an issue where evidently there was a hacker either within their store/company as several large sums of money was taken from my account (not orders as they were even amounts $100). I was panicking and no one could seem to assist and when finally via Email it was resolved that’s pretty traumatic to have 3-4 pending $100 charges from this app.

Accessibility and usability are lacking for some of us. This app needs to be more accessible for blind and otherwise disabled people who use voice over technology or other screen readers.

Needs a little help. Interface is a little better than before. Wish it had calorie information. Also when I entered the credit card number it lost my selection for the tip. No decrease to my experience but not helpful to the staff.

Email Verification. Y’all really should’ve put more than one way to verify the account. I can’t even use the app because I’ve been having trouble with my email and there are zero other options.

Good Start, But Still Need Apple Pay. E-Mail verification is a good start toward security and privacy. Lack of Apple Pay is still why I cannot receive promo offers because security is more important than the offers can provide. Given all the complaints about payment issues, I cannot believe that KFT continues to fail to provide customers with the security and convenience of mobile payments like Apple Pay / Google Pay.

Updated app has tons of issues. The credit card gets deleted randomly. The bubbles won’t get credited when scanned at the store. I have to keep emailing to get them to credit me the bubbles, and it takes them weeks and multiple tries to do it. “Oh you probably didn’t input your email or phone #” No, they’re in there, your app just doesn’t work. I never had issues with the old app, but the new app is horrible.

Only accepts card - don’t do it. These things happen all the time. Small databases like these holding credit card information are easy targets for ransomeware attacks, and hacks to get access to this info. They need an alternative form of payment. 1 star for now, until then avoid. It’s so easy to implement, there is no excuse.

Bad update. After update can’t login,reset many times password

Slow since update. Ever since this update, the app has been slower to open. Hopefully you guys will fix it to be like before where it’s faster.

Frustrated!. I’m really frustrated because the newest version keeps kicking me off and I have to keep logging back in via email. Please fix this issue so I don’t have to keep logging back in!!

Takes forever. Horrible app. This app takes fifty years to sign you in as the process is so many steps it’s not worth having. Not only that but to even order you MUST give them your information. Horrible design, terrible product. Unless you make the app easy for me I will not use your product.

Bad App. Frequently logs me out and forgets my payment method. I’ve also had issues adding a gift card to my account and the customer support did nothing to resolve that issue.

Could be better. No longer able to add and pay via Apple wallet. Not all drinks are available through the app. Minor changes, but would make a huge difference.

Good but could be better. Overall, the app does what it needs to do. It allows to place orders ahead of time and for the most part works. I would like to see some new features added to the app to make it better. I would like if there was a detailed nutrition section on the app for each drink. It would be awesome if there was a calorie calculator added when creating a new drink so I can get a more precise idea of the nutritional value of the drink I’m ordering. Adding the ability to login with Face ID would be another awesome feature. Overall, I enjoy the app but wish it would get updated.

Can’t Reset Password. I hadn’t used the app in awhile and when I returned I was prompted to update the app and reset my password for a “new experience” in the app. This was in January 2024, it’s now March and after multiple attempts to reset my password, uninstall and reinstall the app, and reach the site via their “Contact Us” page I have been unable to access my account. I have rewards points and money in my account. Luckily when I order in store, the cashier can still use my phone number to add rewards but there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to access my account. It’s really frustrating.

Keeps saying my password is wrong. Every time I try to log into the app it keeps telling my my password is wrong and even when I change it still says the same thing. I tried to delete the app then get redownload it then log in but it still tells me it’s wrong.

This app is awesome and these people are stupid. don’t listen to these old heads this app and place is awesome

No Verification Email. Verification emails to log in to my account are never received. I am locked out of my account due to the app not functioning.

Old App Is faster. Less clicks are needed in the old app to submit my favorite drink. Initial graphics cuts into music playing through iPhone on Apple carplay. Slow to load and move from screen to screen. Doesn’t quickly find my nearest location even though I allowed access to my location. Where to click to get to the next screen is inconsistent. I am usually ordering at a stoplight away from the pickup location while in the car. With the new app I need several stop lights. I like the old app better

Not Secure - CC Hacked. Don’t use this app. It is not secure. My credit card was charged 4 times for a total of just over $250. Clearly fraud.

Coconut Milk tea. I order this and it tasted like **** and the boba was nasty and hard. There was this powdery substance at the bottom of drink which very thick. I still don’t know exactly what it was. I felt sick and threw up for a couple days and I’m never coming back!!!!

Needs bug fixes. It’s a very nice looking app so far but needs so improvements 1. When you look for locations it’s very zoomed in and it’s hard to click on one 2. When you check out and want to remove and item you can’t 3. The delivery option is confusing i would rather it say deliver to: ( insert ur address here) instead of the store location All the visuals and pictures are very nice but other then the bugs that need to be fixed it’s a nice app

Cannot Login to App!. No matter how many times I reset my password, I can never log into my KFT account. Not ordering from them now until the app gets fixed…

DO NOT USE THIS APP- FRAUD CHARGES ON MY CC. Email was changed without a confirmation needed from me. Absolutely ridiculous. Have 4 charges over 100 dollars on my CC, had to file for fraud with my bank.

Hacked. Downloaded the latest version of the app and within 24 hours my account was hacked into and purchases were made in two different states. The app is not secure. BEWARE!!!

Useless. Does not work. Crashes upon start. Unable to use at all, let alone for points or discounts. Truly abhorrent development. Devs should be ashamed.

Failed update. It was a mild pain to completely re-enter all information It is a bigger pain to lose the quick reorder button Today it became unusable when it stopped accepting my card. The same card I’ve been using that works everywhere else. Please fix this and give us a one button reorder

More customized options. Should have room temperature option and sugar levels option for all drink exclude slush drink so customers don’t need to go to the store to order

Still crashing. Editing the drink still crashes. I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps, but I gave up on this app. I miss the previous app before the migration. It worked.

new update. when you press order and pickup it just gives you a blank screen. i can’t do any mobile orders

Cant Pay. The app doesn’t support Apple Pay. I put in both a Visa and a Master Card card, and the app says it doesn’t support either!

😂 a little confused at first. I’m so used to the older interface so while choosing drinks from the menu, the list kinda confusing me. However, it’s still neat enough and faster to order. The plus side is I was scared that I have to re-register but all the info were transferred. Yay!!! Thank you KFTea!!!👍🏼✨ Somehow I lost a lot of bubbles after the transferred so my belt level were downgraded. I was expecting a promotion or extra bubbles for users/customers after the moving. Kinda sad 🥲

We gave up on ordering. I called ahead to see if we could order for pick up to save time after school pick up. I was told to order through the app. Took 5 minutes to download the app and put all the order in and when it asked for payment it would not accept any of my cards nor do they accept Apple Pay. I put in the info for three separate cards and they weren’t accepted. This took a total of 10 minutes and by then the baby was crying from sitting idle in the car. I tried to close and reopen and the app wasn’t even set. It asked me to re-log in… I wasn’t about to do the ten minute drive out just to get everyone out, order and wait another 10 for them to make the order. If you’re not going to let people call and order ahead and insist that they use your app, please make sure it works.

How to apply promo. It’s not obvious where to click to add the promo to order. Placed an order and it’s not automatic.

Awful software. BOGO promotion can’t be claimed weeks in a row, no codes, not showing up at cart and check out, useless

Apple Pay. They need to add Apple Pay; I don’t carry my card everywhere I go.

Frustrating. This app is so difficult to use and login that I don’t even use it when placing orders and often forgo getting a drink at all

Nothing available. They say that there’s app exclusive offers. But every time I try to order, you can NEVER order it because it’s not available on the menu. Then what’s the point of doing app exclusive offers if you don’t even list it to begin with? I find that highly annoying. Majority of the times, they don’t even have the toppings that’s in the app but nowhere does it indicate it’s sold out or anything of that sort. Don’t even get me started on how they took tip from my payment when I specifically stated 0 on it. I have no idea who’s running this app but you need to do better for these app exclusive offers. If not, then don’t release it in the first place.

Can’t add my receipts when paying in cash. The website and receipt say I can add physical receipts through the app. That has yet to be true.

Not Good At All. KFT's last app was much better. During the last update around Valentine's Day, I lost the ability to get tea delivered to me because "there isn't a KFT that delivers to my location." This is absolute garbage because literally the day before the update, I got tea delivered to my place. I'm not sure if the delivery radius was changed during the update, but it greatly reduces the app's functionality. I also hate how you can't track where the driver is and have found that the estimated delivery window is pretty inaccurate. Reading other reviews, all the complaints are valid. Hope it all gets fixed.

Do not use. Resets everything for updates.

Trash App. App is extremely buggy. App thinks I’m 5500 miles away from my nearest location. Forced to order from GrubHub instead. Please fix this terrible app.

Tipping Issue. I selected 0% as my tip when purchasing, but the app changed this to 20%.

Your locations stopped working. It keeps saying Missing HMAC after the most recent update. Location settings is on sooooo idk what y'all did but you messed up your own app!

App messes up order. Second time the app changes my freaking order at check out. This time really sucked because it didn’t process my boba add on. Like cmon. It’s not easy to eye ball the total with multiple drinks. Such a bummer.

I don’t know for the title lol. It’s not the app I love it’s the store itself. I won’t lie but, I’m pretty new to boba and stuff so it’s kinda hard for me to say certain things. The guy that was taking my order was super understanding and was helping me the whole time (I’m not a full grown a adopt btw). I was able to get the boba which was delicious and had a wonderful experience. This isn’t about the app I just wanted to say stuff about the store in general. The inside of the store is beautiful and everyone in it is so nice. I’m for sure gonna go back there. -M

Impossible. I’ve tried using this beta app and the original app multiple times to order ahead so I get the rewards (because you can’t redeem them in store for some reason) and each time it takes so long to order that I give up. Today I was trying to add a drink and I would go to check out but it’d say “*insert drink name here* is not available for your selected time.” when nowhere did I ever have the opportunity to select a time or change one. Then when I go to delete any items in my cart it doesn’t let me and pops up that message over and over so Im forced to quit the app and start over.
