Actual Scam. Like everyone else here has explained, there’s no way to consistently win no matter how good you are. It’ll match you with higher scores and keep you guessing as to who you’re actually playing with. The fact that this is apparently legal is ridiculous, this is a civil suit waiting to happen and I’m here for it. The fact this app is rated high is also suspicious considering the vaste amount of 1 star reviews. EDIT: Look at these devs trying to save face replying to all the one star comments. Hilarious

Scam. You can queue for a game, find an opponent, and beat them, then you win money. However, if you win a few in a row, you won’t be queued against someone immediately, they wait for you to be done so they can give you an opponent who has already played and gotten a better score than you so you lose the money you just more rightfully won, making this the most “Vegas” app ever. At least in the other FanDuel apps the competition is set in place before the game happens so there is no setting you up to lose guaranteed like this app.

THEY decide who wins. This app is a scam. They decide who wins after the match. I had .60 cents in my account and needed to play 10 paid games to receive a $4 bonus. I won 10 straight .60 games and got the bonus then lost 15 straight, most by a few points no matter what game. They match you based on your final scores, not based on pre match. So you will never go on a huge streak playing big money games, it’s up to them. You score 10 they find someone who scored 11. It’s a joke.

Fun but…. Games are fun but it is very obviously rigged. Don’t waste your money trying to win anything here. You’ll win a few and then after a game it will tell you it is “waiting to fill” or “opponent still playing” then you get absolutely dog walked. Very suspicious…. Other than that it is a fun way to get your competitive juices flowing in your down time.

Complete Fraud. As others have pointed out, this app screams of fraudulent schemes. During free games, my trial is constantly scored second with immediate results of the competition. Add a wager amount, all of a sudden I’m always the first participant with a score before the competition is settled. Now why would that be? Makes you wonder how the competition is paired? Is a free play participant being matched with a wagered participant, thereby FanDuel collecting the funds when the free play individual wins? I sure wish I could see my records broken down by game and wager amount, but that would be too telling - winning percentage of free games astronomically better than wagered games. To back it up, interesting fact that I played the same person 4 times within 15 minutes: - $0 Game: I won by a landslide - $3 Game: opponent won by a landslide - $0.60 Game: opponent won by a landslide - $0 Game: I won by a landslide I’m sure FraudDuel will explain it’s all random algorithms but players beware - too many commonalities to believe it’s anything but a scheme.

Why offer me bonus money if I can’t use it in my state. They gave me bonus money that I can’t use on cash games because my state doesn’t allow it yet I live in a gambling state which doesn’t make sense to me. My FanDuel account is linked with Faceoff so why I can’t transfer it into my regular account through FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino account. I contacted customer service about how I can’t use it the agent said they will get rid of but never did it’s just sitting in my faceoff account I’m very dissapointing this app is pointless you better off using FanDuel Sportsbook and casino.

Algorithm RIGGED against you.. You are totally matched based on the points you score in that specific contest, NOT your overall skill level. There’s a difference. You can wait for hours while the contest says “waiting for an opponent”, most of the time after putting up a high score. But when you put up a way lower score than what you usually do, you get matched up right away, to someone who averages way lower than you, and most of the time they end up barely winning against you. It’s like they want to encourage that other player to keep playing, to your benefit. Fanduel will say they have no interest in your games, and don’t have any vested interest in which way the contest goes (they def. get their money’s worth) but the way the algorithm is rigged, they don’t need to worry about you making a profit. And God-forbid your game glitches, and charge you extra entry fees, and you go to Fanduel Support with clear proof that it did, and they don’t give you your money back. Oh, I’m waiting for the response to this review. “I’m sorry that this happened you, message our support team with your concerns and we’ll look more into it”. - sure.

Scam + bad tech. The lack of transparency is very shady. If you enter a large tournament (none of which seem to fill up), it’s impossible to see the payout structure subsequently. Also, no shortage of glitches that result in a “tie” in head-to-head matches with both players scoring zero points, and yet somehow the house keeps its exorbitant 20% rake. Finally, it takes FOREVER to deal with customer service, so even if you correctly bring something to their attention and they provide you with a credit, you’ve still lost over an hour of your day. Terrible app. Stay away.

Built to make sure you lose. They don’t “randomly match you up” with people. They wait til you submit your score then select if you win or lose by picking someone else’s score accordingly. They are forcing profit through fees since you don’t win 1:1 on your games by making sure you win/lose at a 50/50 rate so they can draw down your account. They need to investigate this. UPDATE : ever since posting this review I have specifically only matched up with people who double my score. Seems like they’re vindictive against people who expose the truth. This app is a scam

Scam. This app would be amazing if the matchmaking wasn’t so sketchy. I’m ok with the rake even though it’s a little high, and even the adjustment of the matchmaking based on your skill level. My problem is that the person you play doesn’t start at the same time, and I have noticed this many times. I even quit a game 1 second after it started and the other player magically already has a score. When I get a very high score, it always takes longer to find another player because they are waiting to find a score than can rival my higher than average score. I am not sure how a lawsuit isn’t in the works, especially due to the fact that money is involved with the app and it’s not fair to players

SCAMMERS! DO NOT DOWNLOAD! GLITCHY APP!. Horrible betting app and regret ever downloading it. Lost lots of money because of the glitches in the middle of the games and even before it even starts sometimes it just takes the initial bet and doesn’t allow you to play. Contacted customer service and they blamed my phone for the glitches which by the way I have no issues with any other apps and have the iPhone 14 pro with a bunch of storage. I even showed them proof of the glitch and they still denied it. They say they put you against players of the same level but that’s a lie. This is not fair matchmaking and I even feel like they are bots. Do not download.

Absolutely A Scam…. Every contest where the margin of victory is slim, I’m on the losing side about 95% of the time. It really should be a coin flip. But the thing is, my opponents never have a bad game or even an average game. They’re either great or absolutely ridiculous. I scored over 1000 in Boggle maybe twice. My opponents score over 1000 with alarming regularity. And there’s no transparency with this. Trust us, they did better than you wink wink. Yeah right, like every time?

Not Legit. I have been using this app for a few weeks. You start playing and win. Then once you get good at the games, score high and keep playing, it gets sketchy. There’s been multiple games where I score really high, an opponent says “playing” and then the opponent disappears and a new one is chosen, then I lose. I thought that it would be a legitimate game coming from FanDuel, but it’s just like Pocket7Games and all the other “skill for cash” games. There’s also been multiple instances where the game crashes on the loading screen and then you lose the wager without even getting to play. Very disappointing, they just want you to keep depositing. The house always wins, unfortunately.

Avoid. Nothing but a scam! Glitches accrue when playing in games! Contacted support… nothing but a complete waste of time! Told that there was nothing they could do and was completely rude. This is way I stick with DraftKings…they take care of there customers. My suggestion is to delete all FanDuel accounts. Update…. I talk how there support is terrible and what’s the response? Please contact our support team? Why?! Are you going to return my money that was stolen?

Nothing random about it. Fanduel Faceoff is a rip off just like the rest of these apps out there. Just like everyone else has stated, you can win 10 low dollar matches in a row, then as soon as you bet a higher amount you will lose it all. Not to mention you have to win 3-4 matches and if you lose a single match all of that profit is wiped out. Fan duel takes an insane percentage off the total from you. I would love to meet someone in real life that's actually made thousands off this. Not a paid actor

Worst app ever created. I don’t even do reviews for games I usually just give them 5 stars even if I dislike the game but this app is the worst app ever created. I downloaded it because a couple of my buddies got it but never played it yet so I wanted to give it a shot. I got the free money on the game to start off and when your playing online there is no way you can win I literally played the puzzle game and tried to shuffle my pieces it literally gave me the exact stuff I already had and forces you to end the game with however many points you have left. Worst app ever!

They should be sued. Do not waster your money. They give you a few wins as a beginner to draw you in. Then keep matching you against the same “person” over and over who literally averages hundreds of points more than you. Even if you have a miraculous high scoring game it doesn’t matter. Theses crooks just put you against a “player” who has already scored more. Such a scam. Then when you contact them, they tell you their match making is supposed to make it fair for everyone. Meanwhile the same guy beat me 5 games in a row and when i finally put up a number higher then his casual average they switch the opponent to someone who has already won.

Fun up to a point. Uodate: Customer service takes on average about a week to respond, and has been zero help when they do. My questions are either unanswered, or answered in an incredibly vague manner. Every live support agent gives the same answer about “not having the tools needed to correct the issue,” and that someone will “reach out via email ‘shortly’ “ I enjoyed this app for a while, but for some days now I am no longer getting matched with opponents, and my entry fee repeatedly is getting canceled and returned to me, I’ve contacted support multiple times with no success. I’ll definitely update this review once the issue gets resolved, because when it was working it was fun

Fun!. I enjoy this very much! Wish there were different dollar amounts to bet/win! But either way…still fun! And you only need a few bucks even though I try to win more than a few! Trying to get my gaming skills up there!

Do not play this app it’s a scam. Their match making algorithm isn’t explained I don’t even understand how it’s legal what they’re doing. Once you start winning a few games they change up their matching and it takes multiple hours before you’re matched to someone whose score is somehow always higher than yours even though you were consistently putting up winning scores days prior. They purposely try and keep you in the 50% win margin so they can take their 33% rake from a match. Players lose money by staying or just above a 50% win rate cause they match you with higher scores that aren’t real time heck they could even be bots. I’d recommend reporting fan duel to your local congress person because this is straight up fraud what they’re doing. Also it’s glitchy and there customer service doesn’t work I have a great picture of there customer service just asking me 4 times what state I’m in

Blatantly Rigged. So funny. As soon as you get low on money, you start losing by 1 or 2 points. They always find a way to get your money back. You’ll win a few and get up, and then all the sudden you are losing by one or 2. Was down to my last game in a time based game. I go to end the game, the game freezes for 10 seconds and I lose by 1. They have no shame with this. An admin will respond and say they’re skill bases match ups. It’s clear that’s false. This is flat out FRAUD

Bots bots bots 🤖. If you’re here wondering how did you go from winning about 8/10 games to all of a sudden winning 0/10 you are not alone. You are in fact playing against bots! They will pair you with an unknown player that will somehow outscore you by 500+ points, regardless of how good you are. They will then “assure” you that’s it’s their random skill match making system that pairs you against other similar skilled players. I’m glad they made it so obvious so my speculation of their rigging is confirmed. I’m actually surprised there haven’t been any lawsuits yet.

Fun but puzzling. King’s Cross is a novel puzzle game, which I have enjoyed as a chess player. Double move bonus is not worth making any extra moves, but keeping 2 squares open near the king will generally help you be more efficient. Paid contest model makes no sense unless you are the very best player at a game (and maybe not even then). I had my first tie in Wheel today, and it turns out the winnings are split in this case, making both players net losers (I’d rather get a refund, like a push in betting). I hope there might be innovation so that it actually makes sense to keep playing paid contests. Also, it would be nice to see, for a specific puzzle, say, the few top scores from players, rather than just the top/average of oneself and the opponent over all puzzles, as they vary by difficulty, etc.

Same experience as everyone else.. My average seems to only go up with time, even when having multiple bad games in a row, my average could be for example 3600 points but the opponent I was consistently being matched up with averaged 4000 or higher, the skill based matchmaking really isn’t skill based if I’m consistently being pitted against a player with significantly higher averages than me. Game is fun if you want to play for free and not wager any $. After that though you’re just going to end up frustrated and broke.

Recent update punishes above-average players. At first this was a fun app where a skillful player could make a few bucks because you would always be paired with a random opponent. However a recent change now means you are only paired with opponents of the exact same skill level. This makes it a 50/50 coin toss and the only winner is the app which rakes 20% per matchup.

Game is rigged. From playing on other sites and in casinos this is the worst of all sites. They say they match you up against someone of your skill level. They don’t say how they determine that. It has showed me playing against one opponent then it switches to another player who wins. They don’t tell you if your playing the same puzzle as the other player. When you play the $20 game the puzzles set you up to lose then you play against a nameless player who scores a lot of points. Game is rigged. I think it will come out eventually from what I read

Scam. There should be transparency showing who you are playing against, BOTH players should start at the same time and you should be able to see how the other player scored. Imagine playing blackjack or poker and never being able to see the other players cards after the game. Dealer says you lose…trust us. Waaaaaay to high rake for FanDuel. Should be 5% max. No more deposits from me. And now it doesn’t let you see the stats of who you played against and it also removed the easy to see win/loss history of your past games. Getting even more suspicious. Statically it seems very odd (impossible?) I could win 8 games in a row and then immediately lose 8 games in a row. That is a clear sign the outcomes are alogrymically controlled and not a game of chance.

Not really for me. If you like going up head to head with people live this could be fun. Not really my cup of tea, but the games are fun and seamless if you don’t mind live competition. Stresses me out a little too much but nothing against the app’s design or layout. I tried all the games for free and they were fun, I just know I’d likely lose against people playing this stuff all the time. Side note, I do enjoy the reviews of people saying they lose more than they win. Hello people, that’s nearly any game that involves betting. If you want professional odds, go to an actual casino and play blackjack, but even there if you win too much you’ll get noticed. It’s hilarious that people come into these apps thinking they will walk away with more than they put in. It happens of course, but rarely. The whole point is to make money for these companies or they wouldn’t even exist let alone develop more apps. Stop fantasizing.

Intermittent Reinforcement. 99% of players will never profit anything in the long run playing these games. You can win 10 games in a row and then immediately miraculously lose 11 games in a row, win 4 out of 5 and then lose 7 in row. Typical intermittent reinforcement scam that has been used by slot machines in casinos forever but unfortunately there is no chance of hitting a jackpot on this app and they take a 33% rake for your participation in their highly profitable con job. Overall I have won 1200 games total and I have lost 1350. I know several people with skill levels higher and lower than me that have this exact same win loss ratio. The app Skillz offers cash games with multiple gaming apps as well with this same type of intermittent reinforcement matchmaking algorithm but AT LEAST THE GAMES ON SKILLZ OFFER REPLAY VIDEOS OF YOUR OPPONENTS MATCHES!! FANDUEL HAS 100x MORE MONEY THAN SKILLZ THEY COULD EASILY PROVIDE A REPLAY VIDEO OF YOUR OPPENENTS MATCH, THE FACT THAT THEY DONT IS UNBELIEVABLE! It’s impossible to determine whether fanduel is using bots but im sure there’s a widely unknown reason why this app is illegal in over 20 states.

You won’t ever win. They say it’s skill based and assure you that it’s fair - then why do I lose to people over and over by scores way higher than any score I ever got. I can’t even verify that it’s correct because you cannot see anything your opponent does. Most people will never win with this app it is fun to play the games though. Additionally the rake is crazy high. What stops them from reserving a score close to yours and then letting one win one Tim then the next win the second time. If you win half the games the rake just keeps dwindling both parties money until once again you are adding funds. Also with the skill match I’m guessing I’m never lowered in skill because I have had some tough boggle boards and gotten lower scores but opponents scores seem so high. One final thing the app says it’s rated 4.8 out of five but when you scroll through the reviews there are way more one star reviews then five star reviews what’s up with that

Too Laggy. I can ply on Wi-Fi. I can play on full bars of data. No matter which I choose to play on, it lags. Not all the time, but when you start doing good. Which is very laughable. I mean, why wouldn’t it start when you’re about to win some money? I can play the field goal mini game and be on a streak then out of nowhere, LAG. I’ve lost countless amounts of money when it does this. When it doesn’t lag, I can normally win but the gain doesn’t outweigh the loss over some dumb lagging.

Questionable matchups. The games are fun, and if you are going to play them in practice mode only (no money involved), then I recommend. However, when you play for money, FanDuel has a practice to group you against players of similar skill. Multiple times I have played games against players whose average score is higher than my highest score. It will often take overnight to find an opponent for a game I completed. When I gamble, even in small increments, transparency is key to holding my trust. And this app just has too much going on outside of my line of sight.

Money scam. Don’t do it. Just let everything else you will begin to win and then it will drain you little by little. The scores to beat in the beginning are so easy and that’s how it gets you then when you score high it’ll be waiting for an opponent and that opponent is like some super gamer they have and they score a pretty high score all the time. I played it for a month straight and deposited over $500 to test out other Fanduel platforms. NOT WORTH IT!

Predatory and very deceptive. It’s very apparent that FD manipulates the outcomes by pairing you with a higher or lower score. For instance, I played several cash games and was performing around my average. I was losing but the scores were within reason comparatively. I then have an exceptionally above-average game and guess what, I still lose. This time the scores were nowhere close to the previous games. Long story short, it’s a scam and should be avoided. Save yourself the headache and frustration. Between the incredibly ridiculous rake of about 20% and FanDuel manipulating outcomes, you will lose every time. I wanted to like this app, but it’s clearly a scam and shouldn’t be allowed to operate as its predatory and deceptive.

Rigged Money Grab. This obviously just a way for Fanduel to make money without actually paying anything out. The winnings are smaller than the prize pool between 2 players, as Fanduel takes a cut of every game. The more you win, (especially on games like Scrabble Cubes) the harder it will get, giving you entire sides of the cube that have no vowels and make it pretty impossible to make words let alone high scoring ones. In these instances it will also put you against a newer player that the game generates easier puzzles for to get them hooked in. They will get 700 points on what has to be a completely different puzzle, unless they know words made up of all “T”s and “V”s, beat you every time, and then presumably get the mess of consenants that you were getting and lose whatever they made while Fanduel makes a couple bucks. Don’t install this app unless you want to play for free or make $3 one time. You’re better off setting up a lemonade stand in your front yard.

Total Scam Don’t Waste Your Time/Money. This app is such a scam it shouldn’t even be legal. It’s impossible to consistently win because the higher you score in a game, your opponents scores keep increasing (and who knows if your opponent is even real). They say they match you with people of a similar skill level to “make it fair” but all that means is if you’re good you’ll win most games at first then your opponents scores keep increasing and you’ll end up winning about 50% of the time while these scam artists take 10-15% of the pot for every game. The whole thing is designed so nobody can consistently win no matter how good you are and they can keep stealing money for every game played. If they just randomly matched you with whoever was playing at the time it would probably be worth using and the better you are the more money you’d make, but they’re too greedy and want to keep everyone playing longer so they make more money. Don’t give these scam artists your money, if anything they should be getting served with a class action lawsuit.

Absolute scam. I signed up under a new user promo that offered a 100% deposit bonus within 72 hours. It has been over a week, I never received a bonus. The promo promised that I could withdraw my deposit at any time with no penalty, but when I tried to do so, it said deposited money must be played before it can be withdrawn. I had to request a refund. Customer service promised that if I did, I would still receive the bonus. I’ve spent hours talking to customer service, both to get a refund on my deposit, and to check on the bonus, which they have promised me each day for the last week, assuring me I am still 100% eligible per the terms and that it “should arrive later today.” The last person I spoke to said they will be reaching out via email. Avoid this app like the plague. They are trying to steal your money. They also willfully break the terms of their own agreements.

100 percent not legit. I find it very difficult to believe I am playing against a real opponent considering that you are not playing at the same time. You can win 7 times in a row putting up high numbers (winnable scores) then all of a sudden somebody scores 40 percent higher than you. You can’t even see the replays of there games to see the moves they made to get such monstrous scores. So how do you know it’s legit. It is impossible to be profitable and your better off just playing the free head to head version. Expect massive win streaks and even more massive losing streaks

Scam. You do not play another player. You play a cpu, you will win 2 out of like 10. Then when you win they compare your score to another player but they will find they highest score so they can take your money. My biggest issue is with the game plays as it begins to glitch and cause they game to give you a lower score rather the free version. Game wont performance doesn’t match play. (Perfectly time throws coming out overthrown or hits being way harder than the game determined you did. I noticed when I began to win. They make it where it is impossible to win. If you out play the computer they just line you up with the highest scored player no matter how long it takes to set you up with a match like it’s delayed until a score can beat you. I had some where I’m waiting 30 mins for a matched player. Then just to see you barley lost . Again. Insanity

Thieves. This game is ran by criminals who just take your money. The game some how gets glitchy at exactly the right time and when you chat in to support they blame you and say it’s your internet or your device. Their reps are clueless and can’t help you, all they do is say I have sent this to the team for review. I’m pretty sure they just take random scores from others games and match them so you lose more than you win. Show me one person who has profited from this game!! You’d think since you’re not playing against the house there should be some who profit, but find me one just one and I will be shocked !!

Suspicious win/loss rate - avoid this app. Convinced FanDuel is using bots to keep your scores down or they pair you with people who are always slightly better than you to keep you from making any money from this app. Anytime I go on a run and make 5 or more dollars, I’ll instantly drop 5 or more dollars. After reading everyone’s comments it seems pretty clear they’re doing something fishy. The number of people who are constantly getting perfect games on golf is really suspicious. I’ll only be logging in to collect the promo cash then bounce. Not worth putting any money into this especially when they don’t disclose their algorithm. Shady practices.

Shouldn’t be legal. I’ve been playing this game for a week now. Here is what I’ve figured out. You’re not playing some random person at the same time. So don’t even think you are going to beat everyone you play. You’re playing against a score that could have been played months ago. Which means the more you win the higher the score you’re going to have to beat. How do I know all this ??? Because I can start a game and end it way before it’s over and my opponent has miraculously finished their game!!! How is that possible?? Because their score is predetermined by how well you have been playing. FanDuel wants everyone to have a 50% winning percentage and rake in the game fees. Slow death to everyone’s accounts. The games are fun but I promise everyone will be losing their account on Faceoff. This should not be legal!!!!!!

Fun but Frustrating. I absolutely love being able to wager a little over a fun mini phone game. My issues with this rely heavily on the matchmaking. There are far too many times where it feels like no matter how well I do, I’m going to lose to a pre determined matchup. I play the same 4 people day in day out as my average is amongst the higher tiers. Namely, “tyschmidt” who I pray is not the real Ty Schmidt cuz why would he want my 60 cents? Anyways, the performance of the app will randomly go down the drain as well in the middle of a paid game. If I’m lining up a shot and activate a power up like 2x, the game will drop frame rates TERRIBLY and make the game impossible to play as it’s entirely timing based. So this needs a performance fix desperately and a rework to the SBMM (skill based matchmaking).

MLB Faceoff not right after last update. The recent update made MLB Faceoff very inconsistent. Used to be able to hit the ball in the same spot and get consistent results where it lands. Now when you hit the ball in the same spot it varies where it lands. If it was a regular game no big deal. When money is on the line, it should be very consistent like it was before the update. Hope you fix this!

Actual Scam. I have been playing this game for a few weeks and the games are generally fun and easy to play. I agree with other reviews stating that the scores of the other players are sketchy and difficult to verify that you are actually getting a fair matchup against a real person. My biggest issue, however, is that this game is actively changing my score on the football mini game. Twice on cash games I got a score of over 10,000 and when returned to the main screen, my score is listed as lower than 5000. Whether this is a mistake or on purpose, FanDuel is stealing people’s money on a scam. And when I go to seek support, it says I’m “99+” place in line. Do not play this game, do not use other FanDuel products.

Be careful. Be very careful of this app. The company will steal from you. Upwards of $100 taken from me after a glitch will cause a game to end without you being able to play. I reach out numerous times and never heard back.

A little glitchy, but great overall. I’ve had a great time on the app! I’ve been using it a few months now. The best advice? Cash out once in a while. Don’t just keep betting your winnings because you might lose them. It’s gambling! I do agree that the matchup with unknown players of unknown skill levels is a bit sketchy. The fix: invite your friends! You both will get some free money when you challenge them and you’ll know exactly who you’re playing with. I also hate when my wager is lost bc the app glitches. When that happened, I contacted customer service and got a response within 30 minutes that my wager would be credited back to my account. No problems there. They don’t offer a cash out option to your debit card, but you can login to FanDuel Sportsbook and withdraw instantly from there.

Poor customer service!!!!. I love playing the scrabble game on the app. I often play if for hours on end. I play the cash games and have periodically deposited money. I have a HUGE PROBLEM with the game freezing on and off and taking my money. Every time I contact customer service about this I am treated like I am stealing money from them! Clearly they can see a zero score means something went wrong with the game. It is up to me to prove that the game froze and I lost my money! It’s ridiculous to be treated that way!!!

fun, but costly. Some of the games are fun. Don’t get hooked. There is no chance to ever profit, even if you are winning well over 50% of your games. Fanduel takes way too much of the money. They take 25% of the wager for smaller games, and 20% if you are wagering $20 per game. So they are taking a way higher juice than a sportsbook. A massive company like fanduel can do better, and I’m sure more people would play the games if fanduel didn’t take so much of the money for themselves

Biggest scam. Huge scam, you “play” the same person 20 times in a row, they always end up beating you by hundreds or thousands of points even though there is no other possible way to earn more points in the game you played so it doesn’t make sense. Don’t understand why skill match making is a thing when I play a game that may have harder letter cubes in boggle or crappy power ups in the basketball game. I can play a perfect game in the swish game and the computer beats me by 2,000 points. Unless they got better power ups than I did there is no possible way for them to win and they got an easier game than I did. Also hilarious the rating says 4.8/5 when there’s nothing but bad reviews? And even if they aren’t 1 stars they’re no better than a 3, I guess fudging your ratings is just as easy as scamming people into “skill based match making” to take their money

Terrible. Only lets you play for free. Once you try to play for money it says “your location couldn’t be verified” then gives instructions on how to enable location services. Precise Location is on for this app and it still doesn’t work.

Algorithm will prevent you from ever winning long term. The way this works is they continue to match you with “players of equal skill” This is fine except for the fact that it does not drop very quickly. If you have a few good games and win, good luck being matched to someone even close to your skill level for a while. I’d be shocked if they’re not using bots 😬

Customer service is incredibly AWFUL. Don’t worry. If your account gets flagged? You have to sit in a very long line that take on average to 30/60 mins to get ahold of someone. And then they will give you an automated message. “Account team is looking into it, be on the look out for an email.” That won’t come for 14 plus days. Or just never get back to you. Hack of a company. Use DK.

Rigged. No matter how well you do, you will not be able to make any money on this app. I seem to always be on a winning streak playing the free matches but as soon as I play for money I mysteriously start losing. Would not recommend this app to my worst enemy. Please save your money because you will always be set up to lose ! And you will lose no matter how hard you try !

Fixed outcomes (Everyone on here is warning you). Whatever you do…don’t. Basically throwing away money when you play this game. Outcomes are fixed and they “let” you win when they feel like it. Pointless to play paid games. It’s fun to start while the skill based matchmaking is still kicking in, but after it does, you’ll just lose money. The only exception is being the very best. Otherwise you need to win 4 games to every 3 you lose, and with skill based matchmaking, that quickly becomes impossible. Save your money.

The reviews have to botted for this app. Do not spend a DIME on this app because it’s not actually competitive, it’s just gambling. You can win 3 in a row and then proceed to lose the next 10 because it pairs you with absolutely ridiculous players or just bots(to be determined) play it to use the free bets you start with to have some fun but do not waste a cent on this company

AVOID. FD clearly picks the winners after you have already completed your game. Very suspicious activity here. You shouldn’t be able to play a game until you are matched and you should be able to see how they played it. Until that happens I will go with my instincts that FD is ripping us off. Not to mention the huge percentage of winnings they take anyway. Unfortunate since the games are fun and the app runs well. Avoid avoid avoid.

Very fun app!. If you enjoy playing games either for free or to win money, then this is the app for you! Not only is it fun-it’s phenomenal! I absolutely recommend playing on fanduel faceoff! I love playing wheel of fortune as well as basketball and golf as well as baseball!

Fun but…. Games are fun but it is very obviously rigged. Don’t waste your money trying to win anything here. You’ll win a few and then after a game it will tell you it is “waiting to fill” or “opponent still playing” then you get absolutely dog walked. Very suspicious…. Waste of time. Not even worth trying. After your first couple wins you will be matched against people who average double your score. “Skill” based matchmaking takes into account number of games played rather than average score per game. I was consistently playing players with much higher high scores and average scores. Do yourself a favor, save your money, and avoid this app at all cost. Trash app. Trash design. Not a gambler but I love these games.. All have free options. Minimum bet on most ive seen is 60 cents. It’s just a lot of fun games. I know it’s gambling but I do wish there were more skill vs random luck ones. Maybe a trivia vs game?

Find another app for your money. Use any of the other sports book betting apps/websites as this one is designed in a way that should be illegal. Fun and Rewarding. The games are fun and there a lot of rewards you can gain without spending a lot of money. The small amount of money placed on a game makes it that much more exciting!

Classic fanduel. Spoiler alert. I’ve only played 2 games so far and it was baseball and I won both but I know how this plays out. 1st haven’t had any bonuses in forever and so why would I trust to play a game they control the outcome to? REAL REVIEW. Used the app for a while now learning to get good. Started winning at a really high clip, then all of a sudden it would say processing results and freeze for a day. Then I’d have lost my recent matches and any time I play now I lose by like 2 points unless a really mess up a game and they can make it looked and feel less rigged. If you play more than one game a day stay away.

Unfair matchmaking. The games are fun but the matchmaking is unfair. I just played three games in a row where they matched me against the same person who’s average score is 40% higher than mine.

Different games. Different games weekly or daily would be more interesting and keep us coming back for more. Maybe even normal games like bingo, solitaire, etc.

Excessive Promotion Is Becoming Obnoxious. After being borderline harassed with ads by FanDuel into trying this app, I finally decided to try it. The games are fun but I’m not interested in paying to play games with high rake percentages. The matchups are predetermined as well, which makes it feel disingenuous. With all things considered, this app just isn’t worth it.

Cool games great prizes.. You win real money while playing cool games. If you played “Skillz” it’s just like that. Just better graphics and gameplay.

Okay games but long waits for results. The games function well and there’s a nice range of challenges. But it often takes far too long to be matched with an opponent. Nobody wants to play a two minute game and then have to wait two hours for the result.

Invalid word in boggle drives me crazy. Please remove “invalid word” from the boggle game. That wasn’t there before the recent update. It would just shake or something. Seeing “invalid word” every single time in a fast pace game is very distracting. I really enjoy that game but that has made me not want to play recently.

Good games. Improvements - show who I’m playing before the game starts. Add family feud to the games . If I can’t see who I’m playing I just assume the odds are stacked against me

FanDuel has created an algorithm that is fool-proof in making money for the company and for the user to always end up on the losing side. Before endeavoring and trying to win money by playing these games, think twice. This app is a total scam, waste of time and money.

fun, but costly. Some of the games are fun. Don’t get hooked. There is no chance to ever profit, even if you are winning well over 50% of your games. Fanduel takes way too much of the money. They take 25% of the wager for smaller games, and 20% if you are wagering $20 per game. So they are taking a way higher juice than a sportsbook. A massive company like fanduel can do better, and I’m sure more people would play the games if fanduel didn’t take so much of the money for themselves

Be careful. When you are selecting a game and scrolling and if you accidentally click on the wrong wager there is no confirmation and no way to back out. I reached out to support and they would not even give a credit for the amount. I get it if I won then I wouldn’t be upset but just wanted to warn others about this. Also the customer service agent ended the chat without confirming I was satisfied and had no further questions.

Suspicious. —Every time you get ahead, you start to lose. —Matchmaking is suspect. —Need more transparency in matchmaking and a better system to pair up opponents. —Buy in amounts are very limited and make it harder to win consistently. —Rake is outrageous. —No response from customer service. —Plenty of the same complaints in the reviews but doesn’t seem like anything is changing. Sorry I spent so much time and money on this app only to be what I feel is scammed. Maybe if the gameplay expands to allow more options and more games and better matchmaking, I’ll consider playing again.

Do NOT play.. Extremely disappointed with FanDuel. I have always really liked FanDuel, but teaming up with a corrupt company (Worldwinner) is a new low for FD. The games are set up just like they are on WW. You will win at first to draw you in, but you will end up losing in the end to the same people who consistently get unbelievably high scores that you are lucky to get even one time. You have better odds at a casino than any of these apps and games.

Be careful. Be very careful of this app. The company will steal from you. Upwards of $100 taken from me after a glitch will cause a game to end without you being able to play. I reach out numerous times and never heard back.

Nefarious. When you play a wagered match, they will wait to match you to another player/game until AFTER your score is submitted. This way, they can determine whether you will win or lose by matching you with a game of higher or lower results. There is no transparency here and the more you play, the more you will realize that.

Do not download. Scam app!!!!!!!. This app is a scam! No matter how good you are at a game, it will unfairly match you up with someone twice as good as you on average. That way you never can go on a win streak and will eventually lose more than you win. They claim they have a “even matchmaking” but after a few games that you’ll win, you’ll be matched up against players who are twice as good as you. This app is predatory and a scam.

Money scam. Don’t do it. Just let everything else you will begin to win and then it will drain you little by little. The scores to beat in the beginning are so easy and that’s how it gets you then when you score high it’ll be waiting for an opponent and that opponent is like some super gamer they have and they score a pretty high score all the time. I played it for a month straight and deposited over $500 to test out other Fanduel platforms. NOT WORTH IT!

Screw you over on every contest.. When you achieve a share of a winning challenge, mysteriously you are always the one with your winnings rounded down. These gambling sites are all rigged, and designed to manipulate people to make the worst decisions. I’m glad I’m up thousands, and stick it to them at every turn. Be careful, because they are not looking out for you.

Mini games so fun. You win real money for competition mini games in a very fun way. I fully support it so far works well i have no idea how it is in the long run though so i will update

TOTAL SCAM. TOTAL SCAM! Guys in HR challenge beat you with impossible scores even if you go the whole round hitting home runs the entire round and using the power ups to your maximum advantage. What a joke! Try to respond to this review! I dare you bc you know you have nothing. Then if you have any bets that are cashing through the Sportsbook like my Phillies future, you start to lose every time. What a joke!

Blatantly Rigged. So funny. As soon as you get low on money, you start losing by 1 or 2 points. They always find a way to get your money back. You’ll win a few and get up, and then all the sudden you are losing by one or 2. Was down to my last game in a time based game. I go to end the game, the game freezes for 10 seconds and I lose by 1. They have no shame with this. An admin will respond and say they’re skill bases match ups. It’s clear that’s false. This is flat out FRAUD

Paid games lock up, no tech support. I have had two paid games lock-up. Their system won’t let you back in if the screen freezes. I contacted support in the app, and I got regular Fan Duel support. They said they don’t handle Fan Duel Faceoff, but they would have someone contact me. Nobody did. Other than that, games are fun.

Location error. Overall it’s pretty good don’t ever get bonuses or promotions really you would think after I’ve wagered over $44,000 that I would be a valued customer but no. Faceoff won’t let me play games if I bet says can’t locate me

Should be illegal. Matchups are not randomly determined. The algorithm fixes it so you slowly drain your account in fees. You’ll win 50% if you’re good, but over time the entry fees will drain your balance. To succeed, you have to win 2/3 matches, which the algorithms will not allow you to do. Complete scam and should be illegal , if it isn’t already. Reporting to the state.

Stats. Is there a reason why FanDuel removed the ability to see both my and my opponent’s summary statistics (average, high score) after a game has been completed? That doesn’t seem very transparent to me.

Scam. Total scam. They never let you win more than 50% for example on solitaire it’s impossible the scores that’s other people get when you play perfectly and somehow you lose… I have been trying to contact support for 2 weeks now and not only have had ZERO response… absolutely criminal!!

Same as others. Scam. I spent about $5 playing and it’s a joke. Practice you always win but once I started betting money the guys I played get 10,000 points while my best is 7000 in practice. You can’t see them play either or a replay so you know they are jus stealing your money. Another app lets you watch how your opponent played so at least it made you feel better. Alright. Once you start getting good at the basketball game, the games start ending 10-15 seconds early. Lost some money because of this. It's especially frustrating when your opponent beats you by only a few points and you had 15 seconds left

Avoid. Nothing but a scam! Glitches accrue when playing in games! Contacted support… nothing but a complete waste of time! Told that there was nothing they could do and was completely rude. This is way I stick with DraftKings…they take care of there customers. My suggestion is to delete all FanDuel accounts. Update…. I talk how there support is terrible and what’s the response? Please contact our support team? Why?! Are you going to return my money that was stolen?

Inconsistent response from app + scam. Speith’s golf game is so inconsistent I really feel like i’m playing as Jordan Speith. Be me putting on a downhill line, line up the circle PAST the hole, at the ball still comes up short. You also can’t even pick your own club between shots. Lame and the shot results are never consistent no matter how perfect and careful you are on UI placement. Shocked that Fanduel can legally take people’s money thru this app.
