Lots of fun !. I really enjoy using this app, it’s a lot of fun, and it allows me to engage with my followers across my social media platforms in a way that is honest and engaging. A note to the developers, though, however, it would be nice to know when receiving, an incoming question, which platform that question is specifically coming from. I have taken notice that I will answer questions on my Instagram account; however, the question originally came from my Twitter / X - and is often made known through a direct message, saying hey, I uploaded my question on this platform, but you did not answer it. so please figure out a way to allow for those who will be answering questions to know where to post the answers specifically to the audience that ask the original question. Thank you.

Stealing!! Don’t download this app. I wish I would have read the app before spending my money on this fake messages just to o pay and not see who it was when you app clearly offers that! It is simply false advertisement 7.45cent either way it mine and if I pay for something I expect to receive it you guys got the right one. I definitely know people and I slam this app loud so give me my money back! Or the next thing you will get is my lawyers contact or call oh I sue people so please act cocky like you don’t see this! Just want my money back!

Don’t pay to see who sent you a message. The app is good don’t get me wrong but I spent 10 dollars to fine out who sent me the anonymous messages and all it gave me was there location and what phone they have it was a waste of money and I didn’t even get to find out who sent me the message to find out the users name it’s another 29$ I believe to me that’s just a waste of money don’t pay to see who sent you the anonymous messages. Overall the app is pretty great!

This is a SCAM. The basis of the app is for anonymous messages, which that part does work. However, it says you can see who sent you the message for $10 a WEEK. I tried it and it doesn’t show you the instagram account. All it shows you is the location and phone model of the person (if thats even true). Which that tells you nothing. I also read there are bots that send you messages to make it seem like you’re getting questions on there. Don’t waste your time or money!!!

4/5. It got the job done, I saw other people using this and thought it might be fun. I got some regular questions and cute answers :) However, I think some slight adjustments should be made. First, I got a question just with random letters. Maybe make it so gibberish isn’t an option. Secondly, maybe make it so that people can delete or block certain questions.

Something off about this app. Fun app and all but… I copied the link to put on my Instagram story but I got busy before I could post my story and somehow I’ve already received 2 “anonymous” messages. Oh they’re anonymous alright. Just let the app be what it is, having ready made messages from the app itself takes away the whole point for me. It’s not a huge deal because it is just a random fun thing to do on ig, but to the developers, I don’t think this feature is necessary!

The subscription. The app is aight and pretty fun to engage with my followers. But the subscription is a WASTE of money. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. They don’t even show me who sends the message or give hints. The app says it doesn’t support it? Like what bro? Like fix that or give me my money back cause that’s so dumb. Why have a subscription for something that isn’t gonna work? Might as well be a scam. Just don’t buy the subscription until they actually fix it or something. But all in all the app is okay for anonymous messages and all that.

Fun app but won’t let me update?. I was trying to post a reply to a message I got but the app keeps telling me to update and there’s no button to tell it to update later- and so when I have to click “update now” there’s nothing on the App Store (since it took me here by clicking that) to help me update it?? I’ve looked like 5 times but maybe I’m missing something-? And I can’t update it through the app itself because I can’t back out of the update prompt to answer the question response, let alone update it in settings possibly as I can’t click anything than the update button- and it pops up as soon as I open the app 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ any tips?

It’s fake. Tbh the app is fun to answer questions for your friends and audience - but no one is sending the questions. The app automatically does it. The app sends you questions automatically it’s not your friends doing it. Then it baits you to sign up to see who sent it - news flash the app did not your friends. Use it for fun but the questions are automatically sent by the app not your friends.

Money. It cost to much to know who sent u a message also stop sending me false messages cs I get annoying and I think I got a message cs I get a notification but when I check there’s no message so stop doing that also u really got to lower the price also u need to make your messages from the app it self more like how kids txt tdy yk

Paid features do not work, and there is no customer service person. I am giving it one star because I made a purchase for 6.99 so that I’m able to access additional features on the app and after the purchase was made, the features were not available for my usage. Getting in touch with someone to receive assistance is little to none existent. I get an automatic reply with a link that sends me to FAQs in which my concern was not even listed. I think the app is fine to use when it’s free. I have not got the opportunity to experience a paid version. They need to fix it. I am highly irritated that I am now having to go through a refund process because of this. And I will know you longer utilized that app ever again.

Pointless and Waste of $10. The app was working fine for me. The problem came when I saw that I could see who sent the texts. So I spent $10 to see who they are and it gives me a completely useless hint saying what phone they have (and sometimes how close they are to me). Now I thought that it was just a joke and that maybe it’d give me other hints, but they were all the same. I want to warn anybody using this app: DO NOT SPEND $10!! IT WILL NOT TELL YOU WHO SENT THE MESSAGE! P.S. It was a nice little joke the developers made, but it’s really out of poor taste. I hope that y’all either bring the price down to $3-$4, or make it to where we can actually see who sent the messages. Making people pay just to get Rick-Rolled is highly irritating.

It’s nice…but. The app is great. Nice UI/UX. Rich look. Does the job. I’ve heard complaints about the Pro subscribers. $10 per week is too high for what info they’re giving (only phone OS and city). But I’m not here to talk about that since I don’t have that subscription. My only complaint is, STOP IT WITH THE SPAM. You guys give way too many notifications where you want me to share it on Instagram. I can only put it so many times. Beyond a point, my followers are going to be annoyed. So please, take it a notch down. Too many notifications asking me to open it and then share my question up on Instagram is a tad bit too annoying. It’s already on my bio, I don’t want to be adding it on my stories again and again.

I need help!!. It’s a great app and all it really does work perfectly fine until now. Every time i try opening the app it doesn’t let me use it because “i have to update to version 6.1.66”. It took me to the app store to update but there isn’t nothing to update. I tried to update my whole phone and delete and redownload again but nothing is working. I need help on how to use it if it won’t let me update it! Please

Amazing but 1 glitch/bug. I posted my link on my story and as usual, I got messages. When I open the app, the messages doesn’t show. I delete the app and get it again and there are the messages. Then it happens again. I don’t want to keep restarting my phone or deleting the app just to see the messages. Is there a possible way you can fix this?

I rated it a 4/5. Sometimes whenever I have questions or statements to open they duplicate whenever i post another NGL question and it kind of gets annoying because i don’t want to just look at the same stuff, this needs to be improved where some questions don’t duplicate. Overall tho this is a fun app whenever i’m bored and want something to do :)

It kinda does it’s purpose.. The app does what it’s suppose to do which is good BUT when using it and if you come across a message you really wanna see who sent it you, you have to pay to see which I didn’t mind since it was cheap BUT it doesn’t ACTUALLY show you who sent it. All it literally does is show you what kind of phone it was sent from. For example, “this message was sent from a iphone 11”. It’s very misleading how they try and get you to pay for something that doesn’t do what’s it’s suppose to do especially if your paying for it. So at the end of the day your better off just not paying for it an stay away.😑

Wont load. I really like the app and its fun when im bored on insta, but sometimes i get random notifications from the app and no messages, and then ill find a bunch of messages later on which is just annoying because theres times when the messages aren't getting to me immediately, so if anyone knows how to fix that pls tell me

Fake app. Redo (they removed it somehow. I am sure if you posted the link you would get some real replies, but when I tried replying to someone else’s it physically would not let me and just redirected me to downloading the app which I tried to do in case that was needed to reply to my friend’s story.I would’ve been fine with that, but before I even shared the link anywhere, I’ve already gotten 6 different “anonymous ai voiced over messages” replies to my story…. It’s just throwing fake replies at you. Two of them were the exact same too! 🐸

I want my money back. Ok boom the app is what it say it is okay you can’t see who text what but it said pay like $7 to see who said what and responses really started coming in that I wanted to see who texted it ok boom I paid it and it didn’t show no Instagram @ no nothing just the device they used, what country they live in, what time they texted it, and the ngl id in stuff but who finna tell you they is like what I just want my money back tbh ion care

Beware of fake messages!. I gave it two stars because the messages I got that were real were fun, but I found out after the fact that if it says “sent with ❤️ from the NGL team” it’s a bot-generated message and they intentionally do not make this clear at all. It can be fun to use otherwise if you’re aware of that I guess, but it was disappointing to find out that some messages aren’t real. The last message I got was “spill some tea on your best friends” (which is kinda messed up to begin with) AFTER the link was no longer on my story, which is how I realized that many messages were fake. Not cool to scam people.

Why would you make us pay for useless hints?. The app works fine and it’s a cool concept, but my problem is it says “see who sent it” so I click it and it makes me pay. Whatever that’s fine, but when you pay it just gives you an absolutely useless hint. It’s ridiculous and a bit scammy. If you read this don’t pay the 10 dollars to see who sent it Because it doesn’t actually tell you. Also I’m pretty sure it fakes some responses.

Misleading and upsetting auto messages. I enjoyed using this app as a silly little fun activity to engage with people on my Snapchat. Apparently the app sends messages if you don't expressly tell them not to. The worst one I received was "my bf likes you won't stop talking about you." This I didn't realize was a bot message and really upset me and made me feel guilty about something that didn't even happen. They will also send messages like "I have a crush on you" or "my friend likes you" that could be misleading and could likely lead to someone's feelings getting hurt. I will no longer be using this app.

It's fine... mostly. It's a fine app, but definitely is not at all robust. You can only have one account linked, which is alright for casual users, but like someone else pointed out, it's very annoying for those of us who have several Instagram accounts and would like to use this for them. There's also no way to log in and get your old responses if you delete or offload the app. I had to offload the app for a while, and when I re-downloaded it and tried to log in with my same account, all previous responses I had gotten were gone. There were some of those I would have liked to hold onto... All in all it's a fine app, it just could use some work to bring it to more than just a cheap Instagram gimmick app.

OKAY BUT STILL A SCAM!!!!!. This app is okay it does what it supposed to do. But it does send bot messages which defeats the purpose because they send fake messages. Also don’t waste your time paying for hints it a SCAM!!!! You will not know who sent anything just what kind of phone it was sent on if that’s even real. It’s a waste of money. I you see a red heat at the bottom of a message that means the app sent it not a actual person.

fake /bad app. hi i never write reviews but this app is kinda crazy first off all it makes you pay 7$ to see who sent the love messages but it said “ngl pro isn’t available for love messages” they need to fix that and i got sent very weird messages by the team i was scared thinking this was a real person and it’s written in the tiniest letters at the bottem and it says “sent with 🩷 from team NGL” tbh it doesn’t really make sense i mean they could jus say “sent from team ngl” because i was too scared to actually understand the “sent with🩷 from team ngl”.

Do not download this app. I received harassing messages and the app advertises when you pay you can u lock the senders information such as user name, type of phone and location. I was just emailed today by a NGL team member that they have no way of knowing who sent the messages and neither can I. They are scamming peoples money. I was told to “just delete the app” then at the end of the email I was told “please email us for further assistance”. You just told me to delete the app and there’s nothing you can do about someone saying they have been watching me and know where I live and I’ll find out “soon” who they are. I would stay far away from this app. I will be contacting my lawyer to see what can be done since NGL team lied about helping its customers.

This is a great way to gain more views or possibly more followers. I think “NGL” is a great app for content creators that are just beginning their journey in social media creating. This is also a cery good app to let your followers get to know you better or ask things about you. Overall I think this a great recommendation for all kinds of content creaters. :)

It’s great but…. There doesn’t seem to be much security. Like I literally just typed in my handle, didn’t have to sign in or anything, and I was able to post to my story and share. I tried posting to my story from the NGL app again with another one of my accounts on default on IG and it let me post it to that story too. It just makes me feel like anyone can receive anonymous messages using my name and picture from any account and that’s kinda sus

Stop sending creepy messages for, the ngl team. I have been using this app recently and have been seeing strange messages that non of the people I know that wrote it, oh and it makes u pay like what $7 just to see that it’s the ngl app it self? I got a question a few minutes ago saying “my bf likes you wont stop talking ab you” I just absolutely hate this feature it makes me uncomfortable thinking that maybe one of my friends sent it to me but yet I, wrong it’s the bots. Please fix this problem and stop making the questions weird so u can stop making people feel uncomfortable, there are minors that use this app for crying out loud like me.

Encouraging cyber bullying. The intention to make this a fun app for friendly drama was definitely there. But the anonymity is definitely taken advantage of for people to send negative and inappropriate messages. What’s worse is having to pay to see who sent it, and then it only shows the model of the phone. If there was a way to sign in to the app so that we can actually see who sent the message, then it would be better.

Extremely unethical. The app sends messages impersonating your friends. These messages are marked with a warning “sent with ❤️ from team NGL”, but that warning is easily missed and can be easily misinterpreted. The warning was also only added after they received pushback for being deceitful. Before that change, they would still charge you to get hints on who sent the messages, even though they were fake. Some of these fake messages make for good prompts, like “who do you miss” or such. But others are clearly pretending be to a real person. I’ve received fake messages telling me they miss me, wanting to hang out, asking me on a date, etc. I received a fake message complaining about being left on open, and even had one that said “my parents always talk about you in a good way”. I understand giving out prompts to encourage people to open the app, and thus create a new link, but those prompts should be innocuous questions. Ask “what’s your favorite color?”, “Who’s the best artist?”, “dogs or cats?” Not “im gonna ask you out”. The person who developed this app is a scam artist.

questions you get aren’t real!!. I have been using this app for the better part of a month thinking that all the questions that i was getting were genuine. After the second week of using it i began to get repeat question spelled in the exact same way every SINGLE time. asking friends and people i have on my social media there were not as many people engaging with the app link as you would assume. nevertheless i would still get questions as if someone was engaging. this app used Chat GPT to formulate and send questions to users who don’t get a lot of engagement on the platform to make it seem like the app is working properly. i HIGHLY do not recommend this app to anyone!!!

Cool app, too many app generated responses. It's a great app to receive messages anonymously. And it's safe enough to where it's not a random link that'll send you elsewhere. I like that you don't need to download the app to respond to someone. I like that there's no limit to how much can be written. I like that there's no ads! One thing I don't like is the auto generated responses from the app. i know the app sent those messages because I've seen the same question prompts on other people's stories.

Great app. I have been using this as a way to connect with my followers on instagram and up till now it’s been great but there is a bit of a problem I’m a high schooler that dosent have the money for the pro version and I’ve been getting some creepy ones recently I just wish that I had a way to know who was sending these creepy messages without paying

4/5: Great app but nothing outstanding. I like this app because it does its job without unnecessary bells or whistles. However, it seems you can only have one account connected, which is perfectly fine for the average user, but I use multiple accounts and it would be neat if I could rotate between them. Many of the people leaving negative reviews are complaining about the $10 "hint" feature. I agree; it's scammy and misleading, even as a joke. I think the feature should be removed entirely because it goes against the app's whole gimmick, which is its anonymity, and it feels like an invasion of privacy to break that anonymity. If you really want to know, you could always try to personally find out.

Ngl. NGL is such a amazing app I love it so much. It’s so much fun when you’re bored. I use it all the time. it sends you notifications. and it’s so easy to use. you will never forget it in the back of your phone. and it’s so easy to use on Instagram. all it really is is a link. and then you’re there download NGL you won’t regret it

Wonderful but could have improvements. I love this app NGL, it’s a good way to pass time and know why others think about me. But I have one big problem with it. I don’t know how to access the in - app settings and/or change my account. All I can do is share the link for my old account, which I’m not using anymore, and it makes me frustrated. I wished I could just change my account and view the in - app settings. Please help me.

What I like the most In here is that my friends are in Samoa or other school we talk up here in this app so that why I like this app. Samoan kids like this app the most because it fun and good. It’s okay. It’s an okay app. It does what it says it does. You ask questions and get anonymous answers. What I don’t like is it is $7 per week to “see” who messaged you. I say “see” cuz all it does is give you hints as to who the person is, “where they’re from” “what kind of phone they have” etc. so unless you know what type of phone and everything your friends have you really don’t get told who they are. If the developers are going to make you pay $7 a week they should at least tell us who they really are or make it $7 a month.

Good but could be better. This is a cool app for what it is intended for. I honestly would of given it 5 stars if I could add multiple accounts like IG has. I think if you guys do an update and make it where you can have up to at least 3 accounts that would be great! I don’t like odd numbers but 3 feels right. As far as the hint feature, I agree with the previous reviews and think it should be taken off but you have to make money somehow and some people might pay to find out who it was. Also when posted on ig we can’t seem to change the color or the background of the post to our stories like we can with original stories we create. I think trying to add that in there allowing even the slightest change in the color of the background so that way it doesn’t get to complex would be great.

Fake messages that are messed up. I NEVER EVER have written a review. For any app. EVER. And I feel compelled to write this. Yes, the app does work well for anonymous messages and can be pretty fun. Except for well, this: “my friend has had a crush on you for the longest time” As someone who hasn’t had anyone who’s had a crush on them, I failed to notice the “sent with ❤️ from the NGL team” at the bottom and proceeded to go on a witch-hunt to find who sent this. After everyone swore up and down that they did not, my friend found articles and reviews talking about the fake “anonymous” messages. I do agree that this helps with interface and people responding so IF this has to be done (which I don’t think it should but whatever) please put harmless messages like “how’s your day” or “what’s your favorite color”. There’s a lot of interesting things that might be entertaining for friends/followers that are not directly stating that someone has a crush on you. Please proceed with caution and make sure to read which messages are real and not. Apparently, the messages weren’t always there and they got in trouble for that. I think that goes to show something about the developers to begin with.

Misleading and false advertising! Terrible App.. If I could rate this app ZERO STARS I would. First of all, the app’s responses don’t seem real. They seem made up to make it seem as if people are responding. The app has limited features or prompts which continuously push you to try to purchase the Pro or Plus version. They push this in hopes of you seeing who respondedanonymously, but when you pay for the WEEKLY(yes they charge you 6.99-$10 every week) you don’t get those features. I’ve requested a refund and reported this app to Apple and the proper outlets. Very misleading app that uses false advertising to get people to pay.

I’m canceling my subscription. NGL the app is nostalgic but I bought the subscription to see who is sending me the messages, and when I bought the subscription, I click on one of the questions and is saying that I can’t see the message because it’s not available for love messages but if I pay seven dollars for the subscription to see who sent me the messages I’m supposed to see the messages I’m supposed to see who sent the message it don’t matter about. No love stuff like that is still supposed to be to where I could see who sent it because now it’s just a waste of my money, so that could’ve been said or notified before getting the subscription and I would’ve understood it but no matter if it’s a love message or not, I’m still supposed to see who sent the message!

absolutely not, what are the devs thinking??. this is not okay, i have paranoia and anxiety, i downloaded this and shared it on my twitter page and all the questions (from my ACTUAL friends were fine.) and then i started getting some creepy ones, which i have now realized were coming with the message "sent with ❤️ from team NGL" they were borderline threatening and i don't understand how developers thought this was a good idea, it caused me (and another friend) extreme distress because we were receiving messages like "yo stop leaving me on read", "not gonna judge but why...", and my personal worst "meaning of life?" and my friends worst was "i wish i could look like you" and they are very private about there personal life and only 2-3 people know what they look like irl and it truly scared them, please remove this feature it is unsafe and can cause horrible things.

Unethical - allows paying to get “hints” on identify of submissions. This app is ridiculously unethical: 1. It claims the submissions are anonymous, but then allows you to pay a weekly fee to get “hints” on who sent each submission 2. It sends you bot-generated questions that don’t come from your followers. I got a question before a single person had seen my story, and then a second when only one friend had viewed and they were the most boring milquetoast questions, obviously just there to make you feel like more people are using it than they really are

Nothing special. To be honest it’s alright nothing special, my cousin had told me about this and I tried it out it’s just entertaining. I believe some of these messages aren’t really even being sent from people on your social media. I paid to see who had sent what messages, all it states is the location and phone they used (apple,android,google). Came out to be fake because it only showed me 1 out of multiple that I got, I cancelled right away. Then that’s when it clicked these messages are coming from the app itself…

Not real. Can’t log out.. So I downloaded this app after seeing a lot of people using it on IG. I started to suspect they were bot generated questions and my suspicion turned into reality when I removed the link from my IG and I kept getting “anonymous messages.” It’s not an app that you can search for me and send messages, so where are they coming from? Not just that, but I tried disconnecting my Instagram from the app before deleting it and it doesn’t even give me the option to do so. I don’t feel comfortable having this app continue to be connected to my IG. Can someone please tell me how to make sure my data is deleted?

Good but needs fixing. The app within itself is good. It does what it’s supposed to; providing a way to fill time and get a good laughs out of the responses you get from followers. My main issue is this one weird bug that always seems to happen to me. Id post the link and only get 1-3 responses. Of course, mot every follower is going to participate and Im well aware of that. The issue im having is sometimes my friends tel me they sent one and show me proof but when I head onto the app, I get nothing in my inbox

🙄. I thought this app was great until I realised the questions were predominantly computer generated and not asked by your friends at all. So stupid!

App generated questions. Can you stop adding questions to the inbox that were not asked by actual people? It’s a bit annoying to be honest

Waste of money. Do not pay for premium feature as it does not actually show who sent you the message. The app is a bit of fun but you need to disclose that when you pay, you do not actually display who sent the message. I would like a refund for this.

Sends u fake messages. Set my phone in German. All my friends speak English. I received anonymous messages in German. My friends aren’t randomly sending me messages in German.

Notifications are misleading. Had to turn notifications off, it kept telling me I had new messages when there were none.

Got abused after sending an anon message. Sent a anon message to my crush who doesn’t know I exist and not long after this person was in my dms verbally abusing me. It says they can’t find your Instagram handle even after upgrading to pro account so how is this even possible?

Trash app. Only rating one because I can’t rate zero. At first, I thought the app was pretty cool. That was until I found out that it’s just a liar. Whenever I’d get messages, I’d see the exact same on pretty much all of my friends ones too. “Are you close with your parents?” “Extrovert or introvert?” Etc. All this app does is sends you automatic messages if you aren’t receiving any from your friends or people who click the link. It’s pretty scary when you think about it. I tried once to see if it was true, and it was. I clicked the link and didn’t post it, then 5 minutes later, I got a reply. Please be careful with this app, you never know what it has up its sleeve. All it is is bots. Stay safe..

Reveal does not work. I have upgraded to the reveal and paid for my subscription. Still not showing any sign of reveal and changes on my app!!!!

Bot messages, scam. This app constantly sends bot messages to you and is an absolute scam and just getting data from you, it gets more obvious the more you use it.

This app is a scam. Claims to show who sends you the message once you’ve paid; it doesn’t. It only disclosed the location and what type of phone and service provider it’s been sent from!!!! Actual scam

Payment. When you pay the $15 it actually doesn’t let you see who’s wrote the question. Absolute rip off never pay it!!!!!!!! 😠😠

Messages. This new edit title thingy has stopped me from looking at my messages, should fix it .

Should literally be illegal... Should literally be illegal to send people messages from bot or spam accounts and then charge them to find out who sent it. That’s a scam in the truest sense of the word. Surprised they haven’t been sued into oblivion yet.

Decent app. Better than other anonymous message apps. Other question apps would send fake questions from bots

What update. My page won’t “refresh” after selecting the update. It takes me to the App Store to then “open” page & back to the beginning without the NGL App updating.

Misleading. Dont purchase to “see who sent this”… it doesnt tell you who actually sent a message. Waste of money

Support non existent. I’ve deleted the app and my old link is still active and I keep getting notification saying new msg when I haven’t gotten any! On my new one this is annoying I’ve emailed and Instagram msged and comment with no reply! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT IN CUSTOMER SERVICES!

Update issue. I would rate it 5 stars but it keeps syaing i gotta update even though Its on the latest version, please fix

Notifications. The app sends notifications of new messages received when I haven’t received anything.

False advertising. Your paid feature is so misleading. I’m sure your made thousands and thousands or false advertisement for insisting people can view who has sent harmful, threatening messages to people. NGL should advertise it gives hints as to who is messaging you not “see who sent this”. Disgusting.

Paid money to see who sending the message. But waste of money.. What’s the reason of paying money to see who sent those messages. There are so many abusing messages. And everyone wants to know who’s sending and wants to take action on them. Instead of showing their name or Instagram ID it is showing the location and NGL ID. I’m sure no one knows their own NGL ID. So how do we know who’s the person sending the messages!??

Newest Version. Despite the app store saying theres no update, NGL wont let me access anything due to the 6.1.66 update? I can’t access any of the notifs

Doesn’t tell you who sent it. It’s misleading to have a button saying “who sent this” when you don’t provide that information There should be a disclaimer that you’ll provide their ‘ngl ID’ which tells you nothing & you can’t search by either. No way of blocking abusive messages. Expecting a full refund.

Full of BOT messages. Absolutely rubbish! I didn’t get to post my link because I was interrupted and the app kept sending me questions that apparently had been sent to me. Clearly bots!! Do not trust this app. They have been called out for this before and are still dodgy as they prompted the payment option to see who sent messages. The messages were not sent by anyone except for bots! This app should be removed.

Absolute Scam !. Apple store should remove this scam. You pay 15$ for nothing. Don’t pay. It doesn’t show who sent the message. Just their phone and sometimes their city.

Questions are bots!. At first I loved this app - got a heap of anonymously asked questions. Until I found out NGL TRICKS YOU by autogenerating questions for you to answer by a bot then charging you to know who asked the questions!!!! The first time I used it I wasn’t the wiser because my question was ‘ask me anything’ But the second time when I asked a very specific mental health question - my inbox was again flooded with questions but completely unrelated and found out about the bot scam. Anything that’s a general question is probably a bot. The following are generic bot questions: Introvert or extrovert? Any tattoos? What have you gotten detention for? Spill some tea What are your weekend plans? Snap?

Can’t turn off post reminder notifs. It’s an okay app, but it’s impossible to toggle off the post reminder messages. You can do it, but if you go back into settings it’s switched on again. I get plenty of messages—I don’t need reminders!! I’ll delete it soon and just point people to my tumblr askbox. At least it doesn’t pester me uselessly.

Hoax. I shared the link ONLY on my story which was on its “uploading” stage and I got a message in NGL inbox!! And then another even when my story wasn’t seen by a single soul. They’re just messing up with you. Ngl but you won’t even know when the developers send you a message 🤷🏻‍♀️ They mention 100% anonymous but the receiver has the option to subscribe and get hints on who sent the “anonymous” message!

Sends you rude anonymous fake messages. I was already aware that it sends fake messages but this one time that I posted my link on my socials and I received a message saying “im one of your best friends but you’re not one of mine”. I immediately paid to reveal the sender and was so disappointed that it came from team NGL. That is not okay. You guys should never send fake personal messages like that. Never using your app again.

Ok app, wish you could get hints for all messages. The app itself is alright, it's easy to use and entertaining. I enjoy the feature of getting hints as to who sent the messages (a feature you have to pay for). However, there are some confessions that don't provide hints because of the nature of the message. I know it's meant to be anonymous but I don't think it's NGL's place to determine whether or not I get hints considering I'm paying for it.

NGL pro. I would give 5 stars but the NGL pro is super expensive. If you could bring the monthly price down or make an availability where you can pay once would be appreciated!

TO SLOW. i’ve use this app multiple times, and every time that I play a game or get questions anonymously they always come through late and I’m not sure of why, but it just takes forever for my questions to come in after they send. other than that is a great app, and I will keep using but it just needs a few fixes

NGL is a scam!. Beware of false advertising! Until you pay for the app, the app creates the illusion that you can find out which of your Instafriends sent you the question. After I paid the WEEKLY subscription fee of $6.99, the app informed me that the questions were autogenerated by the NGL team! There is no one you can reach out to for a refund. When you email their customer support, they show you a message saying they are too busy to actually respond. You are better off boycotting this deceitful cash-grab!

It’s fake. Tbh the app is fun to answer questions for your friends and audience - but no one is sending the questions. The app automatically does it. The app sends you questions automatically it’s not your friends doing it. Then it baits you to sign up to see who sent it - news flash the app did not your friends. Use it for fun but the questions are automatically sent by the app not your friends.

OKAY BUT STILL A SCAM!!!!!. This app is okay it does what it supposed to do. But it does send bot messages which defeats the purpose because they send fake messages. Also don’t waste your time paying for hints it a SCAM!!!! You will not know who sent anything just what kind of phone it was sent on if that’s even real. It’s a waste of money. I you see a red heat at the bottom of a message that means the app sent it not a actual person.

T. This app is so entertaining with all the questions it allows you to send back-and-forth and it’s overall just a five out of five because my friends like it I live in my family lives everyone in my life loves it

Good, but could be better. its minimalistic which is really nice because its not overwhelming for just simple anonymous questions, but there is no custom notification settings and it gets annoying really fast to have 10 notifs a day saying "its time to post a new link!!" or "your inbox is dry, post a new link!"

Great app, but beware. They 100% give you fake messages. When I posted mine to my story I got a “I miss you… can we hang out?” Message before anyone even viewed my story. Kinda weird. They also got caught doing that and were instructed to stop. I love the app but it’s clear that some times these messages are to drum up engagement

Good. Ok you don’t have to login that’s the thing I love You can just scrol on the ones and copy link, go to post a story or sum, go the face thing in the top right, and go to link and paste the link but you gotta pay if you want pro but it’s cheap if you ain’t below 4.67

Some of the responses seem automatically generated. Some of the responses seem automatically generated by the app but are made to look like it’s from someone who saw your story. I’ll get a response within minutes of posting the link to my story even when no one has viewed it yet. That seems weird and clickbaity to me.

Once ppl stop asking they ask you questions lol. These fake questions like “what’s your biggest fear?” And “what did you enjoy about your childhood” etc is deff not from my followers lol it gets corny after a while. Next they will ask my favorite color I bet. It’s NAVY so don’t ask lol

Subscription for what????. I got a few questions and I wanted to know who they were from. Well I got the subscription for $10. For one, it into gives you a hint. Second, it’s the same hint for every question. I know who one of the questions were from and the hint (that was the same for all of them) wasn’t even right! It said they loved by me with an iPhone. Not true at all. That’s the scamming part and I want my money back.

Does what its suppose to but the notifications are annoying. It works for its basic job. The NGL team messages are misleading and pointless. Also, you get multiple notifications a day reminding you to share your link, or when you “have a message” when your link isn’t even live anywhere probably from the “NGL Team”

App gives you fake questions to keep you using it. I posted the app to my linktree and before anyone even viewed it I had two very generic questions. They always start with lowercase letters, there’s a pattern to it. They want you to post the app to your story to spread it around so they create fake questions. The app works well, but I’m hesitant to even share things to my story because half the questions I get are fake

Don’t download I only put 5 stars so you would read this. If you read their privacy police you can see their stealing all of your data and you’re signing your rights away as soon as you agree to the terms of service

Scam. I believe it’s a scam because I recently paid 6.99/week so I can see who sent me questions but it doesn’t tell you who or their location like y’all claim you could!! There’s no additional buttons to press and when I stroll to bottom of page, it says from NGL team so that means y’all are lying about being able to see who sent you something, I want a refund!!! That’s why I canceled the subscription, I don’t give away free money just because!!!!

Technical issues. I can’t update the app it keep saying update available but every time to go to update nothing pops up . I even deleted and redownloaded it still the same thing .

It’s a good app. This is a good app like I don’t see what’s wrong about it like I actually feel like this is very good for social media because it keeps me entertained when I have nothing to do and I feel like it’s actually kind of cool, so I totally recommend it🫶🏽

Fun but wish you could have more than 1 account. Definitely a cute app idea, no gimmicks. however, you can only have one account. There’s no logout or switch accounts, just a delete account button. i have 2 accounts and would love to be able to use the feature on both.

Scam. the app was very good until i decided to pay the 9.99 to “unlock” who sent the anonymous message… Whole time i was expecting an instagram name but nope it gave me a “hint” how are we supposed to know who said what when it says “they are near *location” on a iphone 11” it was really a waste of money and pointless & theirs no way for me to refund my money or report it so therefore i just think it’s right for me to warn yall and to help y’all save that 9.99 that i just wasted😁…

I love this app but…. I absolutely love using this app, it’s super fun and you never know what questions or messages you’ll get. However… With the new update 6.1.66, I can’t use it at all. I go into the app and it says that I need to update it and when I check the AppStore, it says that it’s up to date. Is this some sort of bug?

Can’t actually get hints on who sent. It’s alright, it does what it’s suppose to do but I wasted my money for pro, I wanted hints on who sent the messages but I can’t/dk how to get the hints. Scammed. This app charged me $6.99 for no reason. I couldn’t download nothing from my App Store because of this app soon as i added my card it charged me for this app “you wouldn’t be charged till you make a purchase” this been uninstalled since last year so why is it charging me for renewal fee just because i was downloading a free app which is monopoly that’s crazy definitely getting a refund. Apple be trying to take money without permission !

Was cool but ended up sucking. App was cool at first but then I started getting notifications that I received another message and would go to my inbox and my inbox stopped updating and showing me my new messages so I deleted the app hoping it would fix this problem but nope. Still doesn’t show any of my new messages and there’s no refresh button for the inbox so I deleted the app completely

Pretty Fun 👍. I like the anonymity aspect as well as being able to compliment and/or praise loved ones (family, friends etc.), without them feeling so uncomfortable or insecure. It’s also pretty interesting and fun guessing who are certain questions and answers coming from. I’m enjoying it.

Don’t download this app!!!. The developer website says that once you offload the app from your phone, your account and data will be deleted…a complete lie! I have re-downloaded and offloaded this app from my phone several times and still my old Instagram is linked. At first it was frustrating because I wanted to add my new Instagram to the app, but then it became concerning because there’s clearly no way to remove my data from the app. Weird.

Just my opinion. I see why it would be a waste of 10$ but that’s kinda the point not for you to waster your money but you you to not see who sends them that’s why it’s “anonymous” so I rate 5 stars cuz it’s a good app and keeps who sends secret information

Definitely Read before Downloading. Don’t download the app. You’re giving away a lot of personal information to this app which they will sell to third party companies that we have no idea who they are. The parent company DeepMoji is also working an open source A.I where they will most likely log your responses and data into this machine. Lots of colleges and universities use the veil and or lack of app privacy policies to collect data on unsuspecting people so just don’t download it.

My thoughts on the app. I really like this app. It’s really good for Instagram I like getting messages and responding to them and there’s so many things you can d. I really just enjoy it so much I think it was a really good idea. I am definitely going to continue using it.

Very cool and entertaining. I enjoy the questions I get asked. There a plenty of people you get to know. It helps people become bold and confident. It’s amazing how much people speak up while being anonymous. This is good to me too.

Worked Initially but now I get a notification and nothing pops up in the app. Was fun for about an hour but now I’ll get a notification saying I got a new message and then when I open the app I only have the first few messages I got in the beginning. Kinda disappointed but guess I’ll try a different app now.

Anonymous app review. I definitely love this app it’s fun and a good experience ! i love to use this because people really be wanting to tell you things without them really know that it’s them . So it’s definitely good that this is an anonymous app .

Fun app 8/10. I find the app fun and enjoyable. I love making content esp for my IG story. It would just be nice if when adding it to our story we can use music to add to it. But we can’t add a song to a story we shared from another app 😭 that’s my only problem otherwise everything’s all good 👍🏽

Fun, but eh. It can be a fun app, but what can turn me off from it are the constant notifications to use it and post stuff. Another annoying thing are the answers from bots that I can do without, especially when they’re harmful messages that can cause unnecessary drama like “stop leaving me on read” or whatever else.

Fake messages. The fake boy messages are kinda annoying but they’re easy enough to pick out that it doesn’t completely take away from the experience. I can very easily tell the difference between a question my friends would ask and a randomly generated question.

NGL is the BEST!!!. Its a really good app and i love how people can send me anonymous messages without me knowing and them being afraid also its the same for me i get tell people how I feel about them and no one knows it was me and it helped me gain more confidence and im so thankful for the people who made this app!!!.

I liked it better when it was completely anonymous. Now it shows which questions Team NGL sends and it takes the fun out of it especially when they send stuff like “I have a crush on you.” That can hurt someone to find out that no one actually sent it. I’ve got a thick skin and wasn’t in a place of dating right now, but seriously, reconsider what you send with your bots.

What is wrong with yall I put this link on my insta and decided to see who replied to it all of them were real but then I started to get some saying “I’m nervous to ask you out.” As a person who’s rly interested I went looking for who said that then I saw the “sent with love ❤️from ngl app” wtv this isn’t nice maybe instead of doing this js let the other tell us stuff not yall 🤷‍♀️…
