Almost nothing but positives. I have many good things to say about this game: the monetization isn’t pushed, the progression isn’t that impactful but it also doesn’t force you to grind super hard to unlock stuff, and the gameplay is generally interesting. HOWEVER, some of the choices made in game design regarding RNG are very frustrating. First and foremost is the location of Ego. It says: “Ego takes over and plays your cards for you.” That’s it. If Ego happens to spawn, you just don’t get to play that game. I’m not sure who wanted that as a gameplay feature, but we got it anyway. Then, we have some locations that add random cards for each player. Not random cards from your deck, just any random card. In some cases, the game just gives a huge advantage to one player, which is impossible to plan for. The cards you play that have RNG attached at least feel ‘earned’ in some way, since you chose to play them. I think the biggest problem with the RNG is that the game is not very interactive, so if your opponent gets a Hulk out of nowhere, you’re pretty much stuck with it. Overall, I give it a solid: “it’s fine”.

Best phone game. Period.. First review I have ever written but it has to be said. This game is the epitome of a good balance of making the game have ways to earn money to pay its employees so they can keep releasing new stuff while not being predatory on the players. It’s pay to go slightly faster and it doesn’t matter because for the most part you are matched with people with similar collections. Everyone will get all the cards eventually if you keep playing and playing is insanely too fun and addicting. They mostly make money off skins and battle pass which is only 10-15 a month. The only criticism I have about the game is it is too addicting and I find myself losing an hour or two of my life when I intended to play one game. But that’s more on me I guess. I want to commend this company for making the first phone game that doesn’t feel like a quick cash grab. It’s a legitimate good game and it turns into and insanely good game if you are a marvel comics fan. Peach momoko and Alex Ross variants…. Yes please thanks! This game is awesome and I will be playing it and supporting it for years to come. I generally don’t make micro transaction purchases in any phone games, but I will to support this game and vote with my wallet because honestly you don’t need to spend money in this game which weirdly makes me wanna spend money to support it….

Complete fact. It is exactly what it says it is, The advertising is exactly what it says it is down to the very atom. It’s a great game, with the different art styles for the cards, something called variants to customize the cards, my favorite being baby and chibi variants, the endless strategies, the awesome graphics & animations, this is the best game I’ve ever played. Period. Do not act like the game has wronged you or is nothing like what it says it is when it doesn’t load, it needs good internet connection. Some places have better internet connection than others, home internet is probably the best place to use internet because it is private and therefore less people use it. The graphics on the cards upgrade, not the abilities of the cards, sorry that this review is long but this game is 110% worth it! I love it!🩷💛🧡💙🩵🤍💜🖤💛💛🩶💛❤️🩵🤍🤎❤️💙💛💛💙💙🤍🤍💛💜🩵🩵🤍🩵💙🤎🩵💜🖤💛❤️💙💛💛💙💜🖤🖤💛💛🩶💜🩵🩵🤍🩵💜🖤💜🤎🤍🧡🖤🖤❤️🩷🧡💛🖤💜💙🩵🤍🩵❤️🩷🧡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💜🧡💛💜💙💛💙🧡🩵💙💙💜💛💙🩵💛💜💙💙💙🩵💛🧡🧡🩵💛🩵💛🩵💙🩵🩵💙🩵❤️❤️🩷❤️❤️🖤🩵🩵🤍💙🤎🤍💙💙💙🧡💜💙🧡🩶🩶🖤🖤🖤🩶🩶🩶🩶🩶🧡💛💛💛🧡🩷❤️💜💙🤍🤎🤎🤍🖤💛🖤❤️💛💛🩶🖤❤️💜🩵🧡

Great Game! Please add/Fix!. So I pretty much grind this game until my phone is nearly dead every few hours. I love it but it does have quirks, minor bugs at times, and ridiculously overpowered cards for crazy builds. Okay so the only card I’m encountering and getting frustrated with is killmonger. I love my 1-drop deck because it builds up. Takes time but sometimes it’s worth it. Unfortunately when I get excited about maybe winning with my 1- drops boom killmonger destroys everything. It’s too much the fact that he can destroy every single one drop from any location. If you guys could maybe look at reworking him a little to where he only destroys one drops in a single location that would be more balanced in my opinion. The thing I hate the most about this game is the players purposefully running out the play timer to try and get you to retreat. It’s almost constant it seems or they just don’t care. Shorter timer maybe. It does not take that long to make a play. We ain’t playing chess lol. I would love to see a 2v2 mode or a type of champion league for players who are more serious and aren’t going to waste your time, literally. Overall though this is a great game and I tell everyone about it! Keep up the great work!

Failed expectations. Really sad review to make. The game promises to have “taken what is not fun out of the card game trope design” and it really seems to do that at first with some really innovative things. Sadly, come midgame that is a lie. It is the same old grindfest, the same old ‘forced to play decks you don’t want to’ to progress. Along with the toxic fomo, pay to progress, and expensive bundles you would have come to expect from mobile games. At the end of the day the worst part of this is the missions. Most of the above you can choose to ignore. But missions are basically the ONLY way for a casual player to progress in both collection, as well as the PAID season pass. The way the missions are designed, you have to play for quite a while EVERYDAY with decks you don’t want to play to progress AT ALL. It is completely toxic! I can understand the slow endgame grind, and I honestly like that it is hard to have a complete collection. They seem to release cards weekly to keep things spicy! And yet, what is the point! A casual player cannot play the decks they want if they want to progress at all, will never progress as the speed cards are released, and even the paid subscription that is most affordable requires HOURS of play DAILY to make any fair use of. So so so sad for a game that has seemed at first so promising.

Don’t understand why is having issues. So as far as im playing the game. The game is amazing fun addicting and enjoyable. Even after a loose im still willing to continue to play and grind. Love the free season1 pass and the cards are beautiful. The gems 💎 are cheap and cost to upgrade cost is not bad at all. It’s reasonable. My issue and why is a three. 1- friend request. Put it in the game. I till my ppls to download the game but theres no way to play with them. I would love to collect cards and battle my friends. 2- should put clans in the game and ppl gain exp and clan points for upgrades and more cards as a team. 3- im having difficulties getting in a match. Will not allow me to find a match and is trying to blame me for the issue. I tried multiple times and is not working 😣 and im at 17 with amazing cards! On 14 on the Season pass now the game is not giving me a match. Pls help me and ill change the rating to a 5 which im willing to do if these issues are done. And i dont at all write comments on game reviews at all. Shows how much i do love this game!

Amazing. I usually avoid a lot of TCG because it’s always felt very “catered to the people who can afford to pay to win”. This game isn’t that. You collect things at your own pace, earning stronger, more complex cards as you learn the game and learn how you want to play. It’s a fantastic model for a game and I love it. Pros: -you only pay for cosmetic things (card variants or gold to buy those variants). Everything else is earned. -you can make so many different styles of decks. It’s got a lot of versatility. -the games always feel different and strategic -the cards are so pretty and the designs/improvements are really cool -credits to improve the cards accumulate very fast with quests Cons: -not many cons, but I would say the biggest con is once you hit a certain collectors level, the chance of you earning new cards plummets. I am going up against people with cards I haven’t seen, and when I level up, I keep getting caches with credits in them or tokens, no new cards. (Reading online to research good decks, and most of them contain cards that I just have to hope shows up one day.) -the other one was the fact that there’s no friends list or way to play against friends, and also no other game modes (like something with double energy each round, or 10 rounds instead of 6, etc). However, I see there’s an update that just happened today to play against friends. I haven’t tried yet, but I’m glad they’re still adding/improving the game!

Lack of Gamemodes. Its been literally months since the game launched, I have bought all the passes at $10 a pop except for the last two (GotG and Spiderverse) because you guys are doing the bare minimum when it comes to adding content, your only really adding a few new cards per season which is again the bare minimum when it comes to card games. Yes I was having fun when the game came out until recently because the game has gone stale…doing the same exact thing over and over gets extremely boring after awhile. Why is there no new game modes? Not even pve content…you guys have all these cards which are tied to all these great characters with interesting stories but not even an attempt to put out some type of story related mode? Its just the same exact thing month after month with a few new cards and you got the nerve to charge $10 per season…thats crazy…how about start giving us something different to do instead of just going along only doing the obvious thing when it comes to card games, duh your suppose to add new cards but IS THAT IT!? Im bored over here

!!!MUST DOWNLOAD!!!. Even if you know absolutely nothing about Marvel, this game is still going to be one of your favorite games you’ll ever play. And if you do know about Marvel then it makes it even better with all of the cool card variants. This game is a mix of strategy and occasionally some slight RNG. You can be a casual player or a competitive player and you’ll still have fun regardless of what type of player you are. This game is too fun to be a mobile game so you’ll be happy to know that you can take it with you anywhere since it is on your mobile device. I’ve never played a mobile game quite as good as this. You have to download this game and at least try to for a day or two. I guarantee you’ll be hooked on it. I’ve already gotten 5 people to download this game, that I know personally, and every one of those 5 people love the game. And 3 of those people don’t know anything at all about Marvel! If all of those people and I love this game, then why not give it a try yourself?

A Joy for Card Game Players. I loved Ben Brode's work when he was running Hearthstone and the game was never the same after he left. Now he's back with a game that clearly has his signature all over it. It feels incredibly rewarding, but also challenging. I am constantly thinking of new decks to play after 3 months of playing nearly daily. The constant content updates and awesome skins (variants) are so much fun. The pacing is quick (matches are often 5 minutes or less), and the deck size is small enough to where you usually get the cards you want without sacrificing just a touch of RNG to keep the game exciting. You can pay to speed up the rate at which you get cards, but the f2p rate is just fast enough to keep me playing every day (often 3-4 new cards a week). The Cube system is amazing and even makes it possible to move on up the ladder with a < 50% winrate deck. If you like Hearthstone or MTG, this is the next big win for card games. Thank you to the SNAP team and keep doing what you're doing!

Overall fantastic game. I don’t leave reviews ever, but this game deserves one. Mobile games have this terrible habit of being micro-transaction money pits that con people into giving them a ton of money in return for the ability to play the game better than others (pay to win). Marvel snap is the most free to play mobile game I’ve seen since the old days of temple run and similar games. The game rewards you for simply playing it. Win, lose, tie no matter what you get material for card upgrades (which are purely cosmetic) and that mechanic also allows you to get more new cards. I made it to the 3rd pool of cards in a month of playing only a couple games a day at minimum. On top of that its easy to get into, has cool card synergies that are easy to figure out and introduces people to lesser known heroes in the universe. And I'm not even done. In the newest update you can now buy specific cards in the shop with in game currency. There are almost no flaws to this game. It can be buggy, but it is early access so it’s to be expected. I personally haven't run into many problems at all. If you like deckbuilders and are on the fence i would HIGHLY recommend trying it out.

I love this app! It’s so fun, but…. Like a stated in the title of this review, this app is a lot of fun to play. The simple yet layered mechanics make it both easy to jump into, while having a lot of fun things to learn and master. My issues with the app revolve around the fact that this app is lacking a lot of polish. I am constantly being bombarded with notifications in the app about cards I don’t want to upgrade (ugly variants) needing upgraded. This could easily be solved by allowing players to set one variant as the card’s appearance rather than having them as completely separate cards. Also, the gold costs are a bit ridiculous. It feels as though the app doesn’t want players to utilize variants because of the crazy gold costs which feel almost out of reach for the typical player. My last complaint is that a lot of the cards feel very unbalanced. Some heroes or villains are simply far better than others and some are practically useless. I’d love to see some better balancing. Over time I hope to see this issues solved with updates and improvements, because I’d love to give this game 5/5 stars!

This is awesome!!. Ok so I’m a big fan of this game due to the fact that there are X-Men characters because it’s Marvel but I sometimes wish for Dante and Virgil even though they are under CapCom even though there was Teppen but I didn’t like that game that much and wish that it would have traced over to this game. I was always looking for games like this but I hesitated to download at first launch since it was a card game. I wanted the moba game(w/ Marvel) a few years back but it launched in Honk Kong and didn’t launch globally so it didn’t work out for me. I think this game has great potential and honestly I watched a video on it and it makes sense how to play so far!! Really enjoyable and I like the art style…I wish you could view your games though because sometimes they get pretty intense and it would be nice to have that function naturally w/ in the game..so please add that! Also I know it’s really not that hard but it would also be nice to see the history of those games and if you could friend people that you play against like a teacher/mentor type deal once you feel you learned enough about the game but it could be optional..and doesn’t have to revolve around that prospective..otherwise great game and look forward to playing more matches..ty to team defs for making this game!!

Good but not great. First off I do like this game and how it over plays. The game is definitely not pay to WIN which is awesome, but here is my major gripe with the game. It’s the RNG system. I’m currently sitting at lvl 1061, I downloaded the game 1 week after release. I play very consistently and yes I have spent money that has no provided 1 ounce of Pay to Win for me. Six at lvl 1061 opening gold caches you would think that I’d have most or close to most of the META card in the game, here is my issue with that. The developer will say : well it’s all based off RNG how items are unlocked. Yet the higher you get on levels the more difficult it becomes to unlocking the next cache. Meanwhile if your RNG is just plain horrible your stuck playing others wgo have much better cards and getting wiped. I just wish there was a way to earn certain cards other then just blind RNG hope. There is nothing worse then working hard to open a golden cache to get 50 credits to power up a card or getting Yellow Jacket on your very first golden cache. I’m mean really….?!? Yellow Jacket? Ughhhh. Anyways over the game is fun but needs to have something different in the way it rewards those who play. How are we to experience the full value of the game when you have very little access to ALL the cards.

RNG nightmare. I really want to like this game because it’s Marvel, but it’s just so poorly designed that I find myself cursing at it more than I am having fun with it. The biggest problem is with the locations. The locations are random and tend to punish you more than adding anything fun or positive to the game. No cards can be played here, cards here have negative power, each card played here shuffles five rocks into your deck, and etc…wow, what fun! Add the randomness of drawing cards in general to those horrible locations and you just have a RNG nightmare. The progression system is poorly designed. The cards you unlock from each tier are completely random. Who wants to keep getting smashed by the card someone was lucky enough to unlock just to get a random chance at getting the same one every so often? There are a few OP cards that will win the game almost every time no matter how you play. It’s designed to keep you playing and spending non stop. This game should still be in beta. It’s plagued with balancing issues, has no character bios, and no landscape mode. Strategy and skill unfortunately only play a minimal role in this game…you might as well be at a casino. Playing this game feels like you are trying to roll dice at a craps table while the person next to you throws a drink in your face.

Used to be great. I started playing the game around November of 2022 and the game was super addicting and I just kept wanting to play it. I started to buy the battle passes because I wanted to support the devs because I thought they really cared about the player base they have and truly wanted us to have fun. Fast forward to now, the devs have made horrible hame changes such as predatory advances to high price bundles and increasing the price of the low price bundles such as token tuesday. The game used to be easy to progress rewarding you the different currencies through the caches and giving you cards but now they have decreased the amount of currency you can get like making 100 token gain go to 50 and you can no longer gain series 4/5 cards from the caches. Decreasing the gain of tokens seems like they just want us to spend more money on the game for the high priced bundles to get series 4/5 cards which doesnt feel rewarding or satisfying anymore. I used to put tons of hours into the game but these changes makes all the effort I’m putting in feel like a waste of time and I can’t even imagine what it’s like for casual players. The only decent thing they have been doing is balance changes as it always shifts the meta and flow of the game which kept it fun. To put it simple, it feels like the devs are making money hungry changes and just isn’t fun grinding anymore.

Pretty good game, but I was really disappointed. The game is quite fun and enjoyable, every character and location are unique and the method for unlocking cards is super fun and never gets to a tedious grind. The gameplay itself is both super simple to understand and strategy filled! I don’t mind too much that most character variants will cost money if you want, but my biggest gripe is that some of the characters (Like the new miles morales) cost money, via the season pass. Correct me if I’m wrong but he is not able to be obtained by free-to-play players, which really bugs me, especially when the add that made me get this game said “the only thing that costs money are aesthetics.” Also when you run out of daily challenges you don’t have much of a way to get XP, which in turn doesn’t give you an easy way to get card upgrades, which doesn’t allow much progression. That’s more minor, but this would be a nearly perfect game if you could just get all this game had to offer for free. Again aesthetics are fine to cost money, but taking away things like characters for some cash really turns me away, chances are I still will enjoy this game, but things like that have really turned me away from other games, please don’t let the same thing happen to marvel snap.

Will be great for most people.. As the title says, most people who aren't even into strategy, or card games at all or very little will have a great time with this. It's straight forward, and easy to grasp and pick up. There is a learning curve, but this where the game lost me. Compared to games like Magic the gathering, hearthstone, even Gwent, it lacks the complexity needed for it keep the attention and attraction of long time strategy card game enjoyers. Don't mistake simple, for bad because it's not. I do not want to bash on this game since it doesn't have any pay to win, or any energy caps like you do in other games. The games are short but not too short and are great for a mobile game setting. This game is meant to pick up as any people as possible and won't satisfy the long time card game nerds like me, but I can definitely see the quality and effort put into this game. I had a pretty great time with it, until it eventually got repetitive, even when I was making new decks every game. There are 150 cards which is a lot, but if you play it enough you'll start to only see certain meta decks. Great game, would give it a shot regardless but didn't hit it all the way to home for me.

Great game, feature suggestions.. This is a great game, I was slightly intimidated at first because I haven’t played this style, but it was easy to pick up and a lot of fun. I was addicted immediately and it is hard to put down. With that said, I do have some suggestions: - Allow a replay feature - Incorporate friends / friendly battles - Maybe scale the leveling of tiers, there is so much gameplay that has to happen in order to reach the top tier, and the snap mechanic, though technically capping at 8, really caps at 4 because it is rare to have both players snap, along with constant retreating that I assume will happen more often at the higher levels, but the highest I’ve hit is gold so maybe I’m wrong. - Challenges! Maybe we have to use a certain card and be rewarded with their boosters, or possibly a restriction like only cards that cost three or less in your whole deck and be rewarded with gold or credits. I hope the developers see this, I have high hopes for this game and I know a lot of effort will be made to improve.

This might be the new standard for card games. Don’t let the simplicity of the previews or early stages of gameplay fool you, these developers got the magic formula. This game features fast-paced strategic scenarios that deliver impactful effects. Sometimes it does feel like matches could be one or two extra turns or have an extra “battle” phase, but they still feel extremely fulfilling. There’s also the convenience of portrait mode. I know it might sound tedious, but sometimes it’s a pain to hold my device in landscape for games. I might not be in the right setting or have the time to commit to a landscape sized play field. It’s the perfect game to run on repeat for a quick couple of minutes or upwards of hours, if you can spare it. It would also appear that MOST cards are unlocked via gameplay and progression. Some come in battle passes and purchased packs, but you can make several competitive and various decks with the cards given. This is really an excellent title, I’m excited to see how the developers continue to enhance the core gameplay.

Amazing game but seemingly unplayably broken. I love this game a lot this would have been a 5 star review had it not been for what has happened to my account recently. Ever since I hit collection level 100 the game is just unplayably broken every time I upgrade cards and try to claim the next collection level reward it says that something went wrong and won’t give me the reward. The game won’t let change any of my decks either if I take a card out and put a different one in and try to battle with it the game will say that the deck is invalid and then just reset the deck back to what I had before this bug happened. I bought the season pass because I was really excited to try out some new strategies with those cards and now I can’t even play them. If I close the app everything I’ve done since this bug started is completely undone any card I upgraded is back to the way it was and whatever collection level I was at is right back to 100 I’ve reported this bug in the in game support but so far nothing I’m not sure what to do if this problem persists I might have to give up on the game all together becuase I can’t do anything and it’s so frustrating

Great at first. I was enjoying the game play up until I hit pool 3 cards. Then that’s when they take the training wheels off and you play against other complete decks. I had hit infinite twice in a row starting out because it was that much easier. Ever since hitting pool 3 I can’t get past rank 80. Mainly due to the fact that you are going up against complete decks using the best meta they can get their hands on. So obviously I did what anyone else would do, I kept playing until I could get my hands on the best cards. But now, despite the fact that I have complete decks to choose from, it doesn’t matter. Because they’ll just match me up against decks that have strong counters to mine. To the point where it doesn’t feel coincidental. I won’t see certain cards all day but as soon as I switch decks there’s that pesky Cosmo, or Enchantress, or Shang Chi, or etc. Also, they have changed the way the card acquistion works since I first started playing and now you get far less in game currency rewards. To me, it’s less the fact that we’re getting less rewards but more about the fact that you had to change in the first place. It tells me that you either don’t know what you doing financially or you know exactly what you’re doing, and it’s despicable.

The mechanics are spot on BUT. All those cool sounding cards you see being released? Forget about them. You aren't playing with any of them anytime soon unless you both spend hours a day playing and serious $$$. Whales only. I'm not free to play, I'm happy to spend money on the games I enjoy but the current leveling/card acquisition system is very broken. I'm at collection level +/- 3200 and I don't even have all the pool 3 cards. Not really even close. I have a couple pool 4 and a couple pool 5 that weren't bought in a season pass. I don't know what a solution would look like but having some hope or reasonable way I could get a new card here or there would go a long way to keeping me and a lot of other players involved in the game. The game is still hot right now but vibe I get is that the clock is ticking on the developers to figure something out. Here's to hoping they make something happen because I love the game and would hate to see player involvement take a nose dive. Business people and developers I believe in you... Put those noggins to use and help us out here. If the whales you're profiting from have no one to play with they're going to stop playing, we've seen it happen in a long list of other games. This game is too good to suffer that fate!

I love/hate (tilt towards hate) this game. I could not stop playing this and it's addictive. I sweated out 5 months of getting my face smashed with players that have been playing this for 2 years plus and sunk 60-70$ (only even, you can spend a lot more, the PRO bundle is 100$) ONLY to get to 95 ranking out of a 100 and get smashed down to the high 70s, yelling at near collegues and generally hating life. The game rewards cheap tactics and ways to game the system and seems to know this as they keep nerfing and buffing cards. Once someone throws out a deck on the internet people copy it. That means there are like 3 decks that everyone uses and it turns into a grind. But then there is the thrill of pulling off a cool move and besting your opponent. I have deleted this game and re-installed it 3 times, thinking something might change but here we are. They need a place to practic decks against say a bot or a free play instead of place where rewards are dependent on your wins. I understand that some might find that taking the 'fun' out of this, but trying a new deck out can be fun, if you weren't slammed by a thousand Knull/Galactus/Evo/Bounce decks when you try out that new Kingpin deck you've been dying to try.

So much going or it but then fails on the seasons and upgrades. I bought a season of Black Panther on day 1 and played a lot to get as much out of it as possible. In the end I felt all the other seasonal games give you a ton more for the money. I got a new card back, and a few cards, not worth it especially considering I bought the boost and played a lot hoping to unlock a lot. I would say this is like buying a season pass to Diablo Immortal which I also felt was a huge letdown. The two season passes I recommend is Hearthstone Battlegrounds and Clash of Clans. You get so much value for the money with these two games. For now I will play Marvel Snap and not spend any money on it which is sad because the game is good and the developers deserve money but the season passes are greedy for the little you get for it. The other gripe is upgrading cards, I would like to turn this option off completely as all the animations that come up when you upgrade, or to let you know you upgraded, and for what, the card isn’t anymore powerful, you just get a nicer looking card but the time it takes to go through and upgrade cards with the only benefit of it being that the card looks nice, I would rather have the time back. Life is short don’t make us waste time on upgrades and streamline the game so you auto update our cards, and let us play the game.

I don’t feel like you EVER play an actual person…. Or every single person I’ve ever played is a tactical strategic genius that can see the future. I make mistakes ALL THE TIME. I have NEVER seen my opponent make a mistake. I have never said, “dang, you shouldn’t have played that there”, or “wow, that was a bad move.” Why? Because it’s literally never happened. Every move against me seems to be the greatest perceptive event in game history. For instance, playing a guardians of the galaxy card and your opponent always seems to know not to play a card at that location. Or they have the perfect “answer-card” for whatever I just did to the point of seeming impossible. “How’d you know i’d play that there?” You didn’t because you’re a robot. “That card doesn’t seem to go with any of the other cards in your deck.” Don’t worry about it dummy. I can play any card at any time. I get beat badly a lot. I very rarely win decisively or on a last card (which happens to me constantly). But as much as I hate how this game works, I can’t stop playing. For the devs, would it hurt to be able to buy new cards with gold? I get you’re trying to make money but amassing a lot of gold takes a lot of time. Throw us a bone once in a while.

The best card game I’ve ever played!. This game…… Where do I begin to explain how good it is? I guess the biggest thing that needs to be pointed out is that IT’S NOT PAY TO WIN! You don’t buy card packs to get cards or drop money to get certain cards. All of the cards you get you earn as you play, which is fantastic! The only thing you can pay for is currency to unlock variants of the cards, which do nothing but make the cards look different. They don’t make them stronger or play differently. They just look cool, and I am so down for this. Their version of a battle pass is pretty cheap too. It’s only $10 which is the price of an average battle pass for console games. Many mobile games ask you to drop $20-$30 for their battle passes which feels absurd when you can get a game for the same amount of money. The matches are also short, which makes a lot of incentive to try to fit in matches here and there. As long as they don’t add in any predatory practices, this is going to remain one of my most played mobile games. Now if they could just make this an actual card game……..

Fun game! Disregard most 1 star reviews. This game is really good! I love the art style they used for it. Many different cards to collect, many different variants. Makes you think deeply into every turn you play. Sort of a gamble with the Snap and Retreat features. The people complaining it’s pay to win are clueless to the fact that upgrading your cards doesn’t do anything other then change the look. What’s the point? The purpose of the game is to collect as many cards as you can and just have fun…but the cards are playable. Don’t get to caught up with stats and such. As for higher power cards being played? I have never had that happen before. The people saying you are playing bots, you are for the first 20 rankings but only to get you familiar with the game and to develop your deck more, after that it’s real people. The ranking system seems to be very balanced unlike other games as well. I haven’t had any technical issues either. The devs really took their time with this one!

Fundamentally bad. The whole idea of so much of this game was clearly not thought out very well at all. It should have been called Marvel RNG. RNG is all over this game from the locations to the cards you pull to what you get from the crates when you get far enough. The daily missions and season pass missions are all the same. There is no variety from season pass to season pass. No thought was put into keeping it fresh. There are so many cards that don’t work. I had a card on the field and in my hand that said when it’s destroyed moves to a new location. Got destroyed but did it do what it was supposed to do? No it did not. This has happened many times. My biggest issue and the biggest part of the game is the snap. So if we both snap it increases the cubes for the winner. If I or my opponent snaps same thing but not as many are awarded. The part I don’t like is if my opponent snaps why am I penalized if I lose like I snapped as well. Why do they not just get more or lose more if they lose. They way you have this setup it’s like if I was playing a poker game and my opponent bet 1,000 and I only bet 500 and I lose and get an extra 500 that I did not bet taken away from me. Gotten pretty tired of the game pretty quickly. When I delete it again it will be the 4th and last time I delete it.

Fun Game and Worth Playing. But….. When I first saw the trailer for this, I thought it looked fun and when I played it. I was surprised by how much I play this, the gameplay is the highlight of its entirety. It’s fast pace, it’s makes you strategize, and there are plenty of combinations with certain cards that can secure a win for you(if you know what you’re doing and play it right). But at the same time, it’s not perfect. It has flaws, the biggest being that there are times when I can clearly tell that I was against a bot. I’m sure there are real time players here, but imo, I was convinced that I was against bots more than anything. The second is the season pass, the pass it self isn’t worth it, and it cost 10$. When I saw this and the micro transactions in the store that have the variety cards this was a immediate red flag to me. Heck, variety cards are hard to come by and are only found in the season pass(I haven’t seen the pull pass in a while, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s in the premium pass for 10$). Overall: this is a fun game and the gameplay clearly shows, all it needs is more ways to get variety cards and have more of the rewards in the season pass for free. When that’s their, then this would be 4 to 5 stars definitely.

Its really good and great if you like grilled cheese. Fast and furious fun. I’m new to this genre of game (card battle), so it took me a bit to really “get it”. For the first 10-15 matches, I felt like I was just tossing random cards with no real intention and just seeing what happened. But I slowly started learning what the different cards do, and how to use them to my advantage. I found myself strategizing and thinking 2-3 moves ahead. I had several matches that were downright exciting seeing what would happen. I did not expect to get that kind of rush from this game. But if you give yourself even a small chance to learn the cards, you’ll experience the same. Absolute best is when your opponent “snaps” you thinking they’ve got the match locked, and you turn the tables and defeat them. Only recommendation…I wish the deck of cards itself was more interactive when you’re NOT actually in a match. For the sake of nostalgia, I want to just flip through the deck, look at the cards, interact with them. I want to spin them around and look at the BACK of the card, maybe read about the character’s lore. When you’re IN a match, the cards have amazing effects, like Cyclops. But outside of a match, the cards are just static, and you can just barely tilt them from side to side. Make the deck of cards just as enjoyable to interact with outside a match as in.

Interesting setup, low complexity. Card variety is very lacking. Perhaps this is just a matter of game maturity, but at this point most players follow similar strategies due to the limited card pool and pretty much non-existent cohesion between sub-groups. The only series with any signs of modular gameplay so far are the Guardians cards which all have preemptive power-up effects, and that's not a very reliable strategy. It is very disappointing that variants are simply cosmetic alternatives, there's no real gameplay incentive to acquire variants or to craft something like an "all anime" deck. I haven't modified my build significantly since my early start and I've been able to glide through the season pass and player level ladder without much difficulty so it doesn't feel like there's much room for strategizing. High and middle cost cards don't have good enough effects to counter the versatility of low cost swarming at later rounds so there's not a lot of opportunities to show off your collection during gameplay. The linear progression of card unlockables only serves to further neuter any potential for variety. I don't see myself playing past the first season until more complexity is introduced.

Legitimately Surprised. I finally gave in after seeing the ads. I was never much into card based games but this one is the real deal. The matches are no more than 7 minutes, all cards are unlocked just by playing the game. The cards are well balanced and it takes a lot of skill to have the right set of cards every time. But the locations make each game different. The locations you put the cards at could easily cause you to lose if you’re not making tactical decisions. Only micro transactions are for gold to get credits. Credits upgrades your cards which makes your “Card Collection” level go up. Higher the Card Collection level the more rewards you can get. As well as the battle pass there are free rewards as well, gold, credits, and even boosters to level up your cards. No ads, no pay to win, no long games. I find myself playing this game for hours a day. Just the first 24 hours I had it I had gotten 20 cards just by playing the game. I haven’t pay any money but I am highly considering it to support the dev team for this game. Highly recommend and paying is not at all necessary to progress in the game.

Fun game with a few issues. Like so many others I really like this game but there are a few issues that I hope get worked out. I don’t mind grinding I don’t mind spending a few dollars here and there. They have limited the ability to earn cards so severely that after completions of pool two there is no point to grinding because there is very little reward making the search for the ideal cards painful and slow even if you are willing to spend a few dollars. Also on the pc you can’t scroll to pick decks above the fourth or fifth deck. Also on a few occasions there have been glitches on turn six causing unexplained losses contrary to the game mechanics iut of hundreds of games it has only happened 2 or 3 times but a bug that needs to be addressed. Also I am with a few other players Ego is a poor game choice in that you loose control of your ability to play your own hand and the ai takes over and plays for you and when and can cost you ladder points. RNG is part of these games and can be frustrating when you loose based not on your skill but luck I get that it’s a necessary evil but none the less frustrating when you loose because of a RNG dropping cards into your deck often lopsided in play.

NICE!. I guess I’m the first to play the game? Or maybe I’m over exaggerating and I’m just the first to review?? No clue but so far I got through the tutorial witch was very simple and made easy to pick up on the game and how it works, soon after I learned how to easily upgrade my hero’s to totally dominate in gameplay! Don’t need strategy when you have HULK! We’ll you might, this is probably one of the most unique strategy games I’ve played so far, I love how when you upgrade a hero the hero’s card also changes its look into a cool 3D card that you can move to experience the 3D feature of the uprgraded hero’s card moving or swaying your phone. Wait did I even mention upgrading a hero gets you a new hero!? Like come on this game is awesome, I just started my journey to be one of the strongest players, I don’t know if your reading this. BUT IF YOU LOVE STRATEGY GAMES, MARVEL HEROS, AND A GOOD MATCH, download this game, try it yourself. Also don’t know if you can add people or have friends yet but if anything my connect/username is AstroWrld, also (Developers) if you ever want to give me some kind of special gift or hero :), or maybe even be down to a battle AstroWrld is the name. Thanksss for reading

Needs Nerfs but still overall amazing!. Amazing game! But some cards need massive nerfs. You see the same cards in every deck that ruins people trying to play cards of characters they like. Devil dinosaur massively over powered can gain 10 power easily like it was nothing. Blue marvel low cost character that requires no intelligence to use and gives every card on players side +1 power. And the one I find the most ridiculous Klaw has 4 power and gives 6 to the location to the right of it! Are you serious?? A card that gives 10 power in total and it costs less than the highest rated cards to play it. On the bright side you can occasionally find a player that isn’t trying to sweat and just using the broken cards and on a brighter side it’s only a few that are “broken” and the ones that can actually be a game changer are more skill based than just playing it and winning. Side note the graphics, artwork and sounds are on a different level anyone saying that the animations aren’t good just haven't upgraded their cards enough to have a credible opinion.

“Magnificent!” ~ Taneleer Tivan, The Collector. I’m gonna go out on a limb by saying I don’t play card games. It’s not my thing, but (with my passion for all things Marvel) I had to try Marvel Snap! I highly recommend it whether you’re new to playing or not. You’ll feel like The Watcher as you are granted an array of Marvel characters and their attributes. While most games are geared towards the typical “cash grab” and although Snap does have bundles and such, it isn’t etched into your brain at every turn. You’ll still have the pleasure of playing even if you’re not the pay-to-play type. Now, I’m not touting the joy of the game, but if you’re as much a “noob” as I am you might find your passion slightly tested as the game’s balance can seem a wee-bit tilted. Your emotions will titter between bliss and “Hello darkness, my old friend” at times. If you’re familiar with card gaming you’re likely to easily adapt quickly and reach “Infinite” in no time, or you can read this and gloat that you’re just that good. In any case, whether you’re a seasoned gamer, a gifted mutant, or always wondered what your Panini® collection would be like if it were virtual, then Marvel Snap is the new iteration of Chess for the modern age…and it’s free!

Extremely Fun!!!. This game is the card game “War” but with a twist, you don’t truly know you're going to win until the end. This game is absolutely free to play, with zero advantage if you decide to buy cards, because all cards of a certain characters will have the same effect and you're just paying for a variant artwork. This game is easy to pick up and hard to drop. I highly recommend it. Just a thought. I wish they decide to make an actual physical trading card game of this game. It's so simple too. You open up a pack and get a chance to get a card with a shiny name, border, or even an animated card. The best part about this game is similar to the app, there are no advantages or disadvantages. If you don't have a chase card (animated version) you can still play the game with the non-holo-foil card. And I grew up in the 90s so the nostalgia of collecting comic book cards will exist. Imagine having a physical card of many versions of the Comic Book Captain America, and a trading card of MCU Captain America. You can have a deck with all MCU images, lol. Someone, please convince Marvel to let it happen.

Wow. I’ve been raised by house phones, and i’ve seen the decade long growth of freemium style market strategies, this game, and the team behind it has not only taken extreme measures that allows for purchases for those who love the game and for the productions profit angle, but also not make total free players feel at a disadvantage, which promotes more honest and true to heart investments for said profits. Beyond the perfect balance of the eternal problem of pay to win with these type of business models, this game from a players prospective not a consumer, the matches are FAST like so fast you have time to do 2-3 while waiting in line, the matches feel GOOD you don’t feel cheated, you know when you messed up or made the wrong guess, it doesn’t feel BAD when you lose, or have to retreat, you learn from it naturally, yet it still feels rewarding when you outwit and outplay the other player. Something about the simpleness and short time invested really brings out the best of both worlds of losing and winning! Bravo guys truly this is coming from someone who hates freemium models with a passion! ❤️

The game is fun. BUT match making is absolutely horrendous. I’m going against people who have WAY more cards available to them than I do. They are clearly 10 plus levels above me. There is no competing with them. It doesn’t matter if I get literally every card in order from lowest to highest or where they’re placed. I can’t beat cards that can merge with one another or place several cards across the board. I don’t have them. At best I can try to destroy the 1 cost cards IF I can get the one card I have that does that. I have a few issues with the descriptions of some of the tiles. For example let’s say it says “if a card is played here it will be exchanged for one in your deck.” Before or after its flipped and before or after the ability/power? It’s after the flip before the ability btw, but there is literally no way to know that unless you had that tile before. You also get “you cannot play cards on turns 3 through 5 and 4 through 6” with way to often and way to often at the same time. WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSE TO DO FOR THAT TIME? I literally had a game where after turn 3 me and the other guy just got to stare at each other till turn 5. That shouldn’t be something that can happen. I’ve only played for about an hour and already hit a paywall, but since it seems like it’s mostly just cosmetic I don’t see an issue with it. I do have issue with upgrading cards being the main way to unlock card. You run outta in game money good luck to you on unlocking anything for a bit.

Poor Customer Support. This is the first time I’ve felt the need to review anything, which should show how awful the support for this game is. The game itself is fun, but if you have any problems, good luck. I’ve been dealing with support for over a week now with no results. I paid for the premium season pass for last month, but never received my items for it. I didn’t get any help after using both the in-app support and email until after the season was over, thus leaving me $10 down with no items to show for it. I was told by two people that I could receive compensation by getting this month’s season pass for free. I said that would be great and then they ghosted me for days. When I reached out again to ask how long it would take to receive my items, I was told they don’t give out refunds at the moment (which was never even talked about prior because they had mentioned in-game compensation). I’ve talked to a different person every time, and they keep closing the conversation, making me start a new one every time. I’ve never had to deal with such awful customer support, and it’s not only ruining the game for me, but it’s also ruining the Marvel brand. Hopefully someone will step up and create a better support team, instead of obviously outsourcing to a different company.

Awesome game but …….. While I have immensely enjoyed the game, I must say the one of the issues I have are the repetitive nature of the cards you receive. I mean I do enjoy the different card face variations, does one really need 4 different copies of one card. Yes you boost the cards and change the looks but then you reach its max level and you get another version but with a different categorization. Can’t they actually get a different boost to what it already brings to the game or is that it. I’m at a point where I only boost cards just for the missions. I mean do I really want to boost another “Mantis” card to its max to get another exact copy to start again with no added bonuses to make it worthwhile. I’m for the different artist representations because some are really cool, but enough with the get the card to max status and for your troubles here’s another of the same exact copy to do it again. Also another thing is the cards that play for you, can they actually be made to make a positive play to win and not just screw you out of a turn and put you back from what was being stategized. I can’t remember how many times I’ve retreated when my strategy gets bamboozled because Ego or Agatha happens upon my board and I’m just left wondering why would you make that move. Anyways great game but maybe address these annoying issues. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

Excellent game. 1 issue.. I’ve been playing this game pretty much nonstop a little bit after release. Beautiful graphics, amazing synergies, overall excellent card game. I have a large background in TCG’s like Magic and Genesis:BoC. One thing that’s so great about those TCG’s is that the player has full autonomy over every decision they make in the game. That’s where I feel a part of that player decision is lacking. When it comes to discarding, I as the player should be choosing what I discard for an effect. The biggest place this comes into play would be with my Infanaut/Dracula combo piece. I shouldn’t have to leave that final discard up to chance of my Dracula being a 20 power or 3 power. I obviously want Dracula to be the beefed up 20 power when I discard the Infinaut. I know I’m not the only person who wishes they could make their own discard decisions in game. For a game that claims they took all the great things from TCG’s and put them into this game, I think that free choice everywhere needs to be implemented.

I Dislike This 3000. This is a 2v1 game.. I made it to rank 71 and am over it. If you like barebones deck building simulators that lock away cards you need to be competitive in blind bags, and being crushed by unforgiving RNG gimmicks then this is the perfect app for you. This game forces everyone to play the same decks over and over and over and over because no one has the cards they need to change up their “strategies”. So you see the same cards and curves every monotonous match…which you’d think would give you an upper hand to beat the opponent’s deck except the board is also playing against you and there are so few ways to adapt when the location completely ruins any strategy you were attempting to set up. You only have 12 cards, so if a location shuffles 10 random cards into your hand what’s the point of even making a deck? Or when the TVA location pops up on location 3 and ends the game at round 4. Super fun guys. You’ll have soo much fun losing 90% of your matches by 1 single point in a lane. Oh and you can’t play your friends….just bots and random online players who snap at the start of every match or just run away. And the card effects that you earn by upgrading cards are broken. They just turn the card black or the effect doesn’t play at all. They really took their time with this one.

Game is ok, but has major game balance issues. The “Snap” mechanic to bluff your opponent into gambling away more of their points is inherently a bad idea when paired with a retreat mechanism, as this incentivizes players to not play out the game but rather quit early to decrease their losses because this game’s only game mode is ranked. This makes the ranked gameplay a slow grind of winning and losing 1 to 2 points and not being able to play games to fruition because it’s just a bad idea most of the time for you or your opponent to not retreat when the odds aren’t in your favor. On top of this, the entire game is random; you cannot obtain cards that would help you create the deck you want unless you pull them completely at random after several hours of grinding, you cannot determine if your deck will be hard countered by the random location effects that appear, and you can’t even determine if your card will be revealed before your opponents’ cards (I.e. spider woman’s effect activates on revealing a card and decreasing your opponent’s cards at that location by 1, but if your opponent played a card but won the coin toss of being revealed after your cards, the freshly played cards will not be affected by this debuff whereas if the coin flip were the other way around and the opponent’s cards were revealed first, those same cards would be affected by spider woman’s effects). The game has room for A LOT of improvement but is fun overall.

100% pay to win. Marvel Snap is a well designed card battler with loads of fan grabbing content and an excellent polish. They boast that you won’t have to pay to win and that all can come and earn what you’ll need to compete. That’s where it falls flat. If you aren’t paying, you aren’t upgrading fast enough, you aren’t getting the new cards and you aren’t progressing. Period. What’s worse is that the in app purchases are so weirdly restrictive that unless you’re ready to drop real money and on the regular, you can’t even get enough to justify the occasional buy in. And oh boy, You’ll see the people buying in. With the avatars and new power cards right out the gate. And while many of them will level out of your group level, there will always be more. And that’s what kills the game for me. The non-pay rewards are so slight as to be ridiculous (ooh boy 50 credits!!!) and you earn maybe one or two card every couple of weeks. Maybe, just maybe, one of them will be a good card. Maybe. You think that’s going to change when you progress to the next level of rewards (caches become reserves) but it’s the exact same rewards. Just a new name. So, yes. While you can’t come in and spend 100$ and get what you need to win, you better be prepared to spend 20-50 bucks a month if you want to keep winning. Fun while it lasted, tho

Economy has devolved immensely. Basically what the title says. I NEVER leave reviews ever on games, but being that i’ve spent countless hours playing this game since December, i think i’ve invested enough to have a say in this. The new spotlight cache system is AWFUL for the longevity of this game. Not only is the credit amount required for obtaining just ONE spotlight cache absurd (around 6k), the fact that you even have the chance of getting a duplicate of a card you already had that converts into a variant of ANY card in your collection (meaning i have a chance of getting say… a hawkeye variant in place of an actual useable card) is absolutely horrendous and very gacha-esque. So then lets say i do get the card i wanted , which by the way, if i wanted to guarantee getting that card i would have needed to hoard 4 caches minimum, which the devs have now basically advocated for. Now that i’ve finally got the card i want, i have to wait potentially months for the next card i want and the cycle just continues. Regular caches give less (no gold and wayyy less tokens), in order for us to spend money on their terribly integrated system. This game has such a good foundation, and great legs to move forward on, but jesus christ the developers love to do everything in their power to stop the growth of this game. Pains me to say it, but pass on this game until this system is fixed.

Decently fun mobile game but pure RNG. What I like about this game is that it’s short and compact matches are the right length for a mobile game. The problem with this game though is the absolute insane level of luck and RNG built into this game which I believe is why the “Snap” system was implemented. It’s just Rock Paper Scissors on steroids. Any perceived skill doesn’t exist once you get to higher levels. The first 5 of the 6 turns turns don’t really matter, it always comes down to a final turn coin toss where either of us could win, it just depend on where we put things down in relation to each other, it’s like a game of Rock Paper Scissors. The locations, while adding an interesting element, are also totally luck based. Sometimes they help, other times they completely negate your decks strategy. The snap mechanic in my view is like black jack. You can never actually make the games odds favor you, but by ratcheting the betting as the cards do you see update the odds, over the long term you’ll end up making a profit. Same thing here. Do not expect to win much more than 50% of your matches, it just comes down to how lucky you get with your snaps. So in other words, it’s more liken to a game of chance like poker or blackjack where the skill lies in playing odds, versus any actual skill/strategy.

Absolutely love it. I played the game for a couple weeks when it first came out and at first didn’t like it. I didn’t think there was much strategy or synergy between cards. I returned when they added friendly battles and have since discovered the wide range of decks you can build, and am having a blast playing it. I love the easy interface, and the animations that go along with each card. I love how short each match is, so you can pick up and play a little without needing to devote hours to the game. My one suggestion to the developers that would improve my experience would be adding a library page where you can see each character, even if you have not unlocked them yet so that you can study the cards and your counters to them even if you don’t own them. Also I would imagine it would be more intriguing to a new player to be able to see the wide variety of strategies available if they have access to look at every card.

Loving this game. Extremely well balanced and unique game mechanics makes this a very addictive card game. Plenty of rewards and content to continually keep unlocking with many familiar Marvel faces. Also haven’t noticed any bugs since the global release. 10/10

DASC’s review on “Marble Slap”. This game is perfectly crafted! It’s built different! Install if you haven’t it is absolutely worth your time! As a simple, easy to learn card game with your favourite superheroes it can get addicting! One of the best mobile games out there! Play it now!!!

Great Gameplay. Progression Needs Work. Gameplay is awesome. Really easy to understand and you’ll never run out of combinations to play. Assuming you unlock cards. The base set of cards are available to you quite quickly, however once you unlock those the collection of cards grinds to a screeching halt. You can definitely spend money to make this process quicker, and you might even be inclined to do so at some point (because again THE GAMEPLAY IS ADDICTIVE AND REALLY GOOD), until you look at the prices to do so. The game don’t sell a way to unlock cards directly. Instead, it sells bundles which include cosmetics (probably for a card from the basic or lower tier set but most likely a card you unlock early) and some “collection” tokens. For example, the shop currently has a bundle for $80 AUD, that comes with a variant (cosmetic) of a card available to all new players (so not adding a new way to play) and 1/6 of the tokens required to purchase one of the highest tier cards. 1/6th For $80, that is absurd. The season pass system nets you 2-3 new cards for $15. In a game with 100s of cards it doesn’t feel impactful. If you enjoy the game, you’ll eventually get to a point where you’re using the same deck over and over so you can compete with the “meta” and that just makes the game feel very stagnant. I want to spend money on this game and support its development, I really do, but the prices they’re asking are silly.

Quick games and No pay to win!. Games last 2-3 at the most and there’s no card bundles or expansion packs just good progress and you’ll unlock all cards, there is a season pass to speed things up a little for you but raven if you go without you aren’t too disadvantaged, much better than MTG and Hearthstone

Looks good, then disappoints. Like most games now you’ll enjoy good through the early and mid game and then you’ll find the established players and the pay to win crowd. Unless you are very lucky you won’t have the cards to progress unless you want to open your wallet and load in the cash to upgrade your cards (visually) to earn more cards. It is controlled a bit because you need to earn the upgrade tokens but it still becomes pay to wind.

Amazing game, needs to be hold accountable though!. I enjoyed this game for quite a while. Great seeing all the new cards and nerfs/buffs. However can see some corporate greed, however this is a free to play game. Community just needs to keep developer’s accountable and not let the game spiral into money based game.

Please fix reveal. AMAZING GAME!!! Only thing is a bit unfair is the on reveal. For example a location was blank. We both played a card here. They revealed first and it turned the location into “once you play a card here, destroy it” my car was then revealed and destroyed rather then receiving it’s written text. I think that’s a bit unfair. This happens the other way around as well at times. Please adjust so both on reveals happen after both cards are seen.

Enjoyable but needs updating. The game is very enjoyable and highly addicting. However their a few things I would change or tweet. Such as better rewards (such as gold or coins) for wins, rather than just the seasonal points. Secondly, I would make the upgrading of cards more useful, such as upgrading the power of the card or the effects as well as the energy of the card. I feel like there is a lot of grinding for coins but in the end it means nothing.

Fantastic but….. The game is fantastic, there is no doubt about that. Definitely recommend however I am a bit disappointed about what’s happening with the store. Overpriced items all the time, I would definitely buy stuff from the store but if I want to spend $14 I would hope to get a lot more than a variant and some boosters. Also $149 for 8000 gold is way too expensive. For $149 I would expect to never have to need resources ever again. Store is a shame but game is beyond amazing.

Amazing game :D. This game is super good and perfect for mobile and it’s good to finally have a game that does only want your money, sure using real money can get you the credit currency but if you play the the game often enough then that won’t be a proplem. But what I don’t like is the pools since it blocks the good/more fun cards behind a big wall of grinding and getting a specific card is ANOYING even when you do add the token shop I feel that 1 card every 8 hours can still make it hard for me to get the cards I want. Also adding series or pools 4 and 5 can mean somone who just got 500 collecter things can get a card like galactus while others could take ages. Why would you add Even MORE luck then I already needed. But this is still just a minor issue ;) fantastic game

Game becomes more pay2win over time, not new player friendly. I have been playing for months and almost every “improvement” to card collection has either achieved the opposite or came with a downgrade that has made the game more pay2win over time - the latest spotlight caches update being the worst of all. Also ranked play is filled with bots. I would not recommend this to new players unless something changes

5 star card game. Super fun game from the get go. Love the art styles and card variants of the marvel universe. Unique card abilities and ever changing locations keep this game fresh. With some self control, you could play a 5 minute game. However it’ll most likely be hour sessions of fun. The support team is great too. Prompt replies too. Shoutout to Blanca from support! Prompt replies, helpful and friendly.

Super fun and quick to play. I’d been receiving targeted ads and there was much eye rolling, given how often licensed mobile game are often grindy pay-to-win yawn fests. Then a friend who’s a big “Magic: The Gathering” head posted that they’d played and enjoyed this one, and figured it was worth a look. Pleasantly surprised at how much fun the game is. There’s a solid “easy to learn, tricky to master” gameplay loop, and solid dopamine-pinging rewards stream without having to spend cashbucks.

The most addictive turn based card game I’ve played in a while. Great opening to the game, really helps you get going. That just one more turn mechanic is done so well, but once you do your dailies it’s easy enough to let go. Doesn’t push in app purchases on you constantly.

Pinning variants!!. Hey marvel snap team, I am really amazed around how good this game is. The quality is so smooth and it’s just all around a great game. One thing I really wish was added was pinning variants. There would be this cool variant that I want so much but don’t have enough gold for it. Just like the token shop, I wish that you could pin variants. I know I’m speaking for a lot of people here. Anyway, I’m not leaving a bad review, I think the game is amazing, I’m just leaving a suggestion. Thank you for reading this, and if you can please respond marvel snap team :). Anyway, Bye! :D

A good Marvel game. I’ve been playing this for 2 days and I am really enjoying this game, I’ve played many of free games and have always felt irritated when you had to put real money in the game to keep playing etc, with this one I haven’t had that and I love that and also meeting new marvel characters I haven’t met before

Love the game but I only have 1 issues. Love the game but I only have 1 issues is that it takes way too long for the missions to be for and they come 2 at a time when there is 6 and if you don’t have the missions it takes way longer to level up its almost not worth playing if you don’t have the missions to help you get new cards

Addicted!. I was suggested Marvel Snap by my partner and was convinced it was just gonna be another P2W app I got bored of quickly but how wrong I was! You do not need to buy anything to have fun in this game, earning cards is exciting, building decks is fun and overall I’ve probably put hundreds of hours into it 😅

Great game, high cosmetic prices. The game itself is really fun. It has a good progression loop, and steers clear of pay-to-win excesses. The price point for the card variants is so high that it discourages attempts to collect lots of them though - and I’m concerned the people who can’t resist buying them all up anyway are having their tendencies exploited. Art is valuable and artists and game developers should be properly paid. Cosmetics don’t have to be cheap - especially not in a game that’s funded mainly by their sale - but I can’t help thinking they would sell more of them overall if they were not quite so heavily priced, and spread the costs of making the game over a larger proportion of the player base, which would be fairer to everyone.

Perfect mobile game. I generally hate mobile games due to crappy design that feels like companies are just wasting my time to lure me to spend my money but this game is so well designed and is constantly giving me random and unique challenges in the form of competition. Great way to spend 3 min - 2 hours. And I mean… it’s Marvel IP…

Thank you so much. I am so glad to play this game and I am addicted to it there is some things you guys can update like make the bundles and places cheaper because a lot of people play this game any way so you guys would be still making lots of money and it’s incredible that your team took 4 years out of their lives just to design this game and the sound fx, graphics and animations are absolutely stunning thank you for reading my feedback and I hope it was any help to your group

Need better rewards.. I’m glad that this is f2p & grinding is the way to unlock cards but geez the boosters rewards are worthless. At least made that you can pick out your own boosters instead of random drops. As of now, compare to the other 2 currencies to progress the game booster is the least wanted one to get as rewards.

Card game equivalent of a food fight.. Fast, stylish and almost completely random. If all you want to do is throw pogs at the screen in an ADHD alpha state and let a random number generator tell you whether you won or not, then absolutely give this a shot; but if you want to think about what you’re doing for even the smallest length of time then do just about anything else.

Great Game for Collectors. Great game love the effort put into each individual card. Every card has its own evolutions and variants with their own evolutions and animations. Even when you move a card its trail is unique to the card. One little problem I've discovered is that when you place Odin in Bar Sinister a feedback loop occurs where his power activates and then his clones power activates which makes another one of his clones powers activate this eventually ends after a while. I don’t know if this work with other locations that clone Odin or other cards with a similar ability but I’ve only found it to be the case here and it happened with me and my opponent.

Could be a fun game but login issues ruin it. The actual game is kind of fun, although heavy on the P2W…. But the most annoying thing is lots of bugs with linking an account or logging in. I lost my first account as it kept erroring when attempting to register to Apple ID or Google. After a recent patch, I’ve been successful able to link a new account to Google - however I can only login when on WiFi at home. The game won’t login in when I’m on mobile data. This is unacceptable and their troubleshooting response has been useless. I think I’ll have to uninstall and give it another look in 6 months or so.

Pls do something about retreating. This game is fun but only when I can play a full game. I very rarely use the retreat option but notice that players have a tendency to over use it. Maybe put in a use limit or a cool down timer to stop players from leaving every time a location they don’t like is revealed??? It always happens when the draw from opponents deck is revealed!!!

Great Game with 1 Drawback. This is a really great card battler game and is really fun even if you don’t want to spend any money. The only drawback is it only operates in Portait mode on iPad. It would be a 5* review if it had support for landscape mode. I use a 12.9” iPad Pro with the Apple Magic Keyboard case which doesn’t allow for rotating the iPad.

Brilliant but broken app. The game is brilliantly designed, and tremendous fun. You always have one less turn, or one less resource than you’d like, which combined with evolving rulesets each round, forces interesting gameplay decisions, all while attempting to predict what your opponent will do, and what they have… UNFORTUNATELY the app itself is horribly broken. More often than not it fails to connect to servers and simply won’t allow you to play. In the two weeks I’ve had it, I am now deleting and reinstalling for the 3rd time. DO NOT play this game without backing up your progress because you WILL lose it.

Fast paced amazing card game. My personal experience with Marvel Snap has been great. The fast-paced battles which last anywhere between 2-6 minutes are a great time filler. I will often find myself planning to play one game quickly before bed and then get stuck playing til early hours of the morning. Performance is great and menus are easy to navigate. Overall Marvel snap is great experience with addicting gameplay that will have you playing for hours without even realising.

It’s a great game!. I’m not a huge competitive card game player, but this rules. Fast games, very fun, low pressure. Microtransactions are kept to a minimum though it does have a layers and layers of systems to slowly convince spend, with much more confusing design than the game. Still, it rules.

GOTY For A Reason. A brilliant game with a fast-paced dev team which constantly changes the meta and introduces fresh content to keep the game interesting. The best thing about this game is the balanced rewarding system. You really don’t have to spend any money on this game unless you want the newest cards. Even though that is true, the progression is rewarding and the experience progressing is fun! Congratulations to the team on producing and maintaining the game of the year! It is well deserved.

MARVEL SNAP IS…!. I just got Marvel Snap it is really fun BUT! I don’t like how you have to pay real money for premium pass or have to pay in game currency for extra stuff at all I think that people should pay real money only if they want to unlock the stuff immediately. otherwise it is a really good and fun game

Great game. Been a long time marvel fan and this game just combines two of the greatest memories. Marvel + Card games = wonderful time to spend my free time and possibly my time where I should be doing something with my life that will get me the money to buy stuff in this game :)

Really good but one issue. I’ve been playing this a lot lately and I’m loving it, the only issue I’m having is that I can’t unlock the seasonal pass. It gives me the option on the first screen but then when I click it, it takes me to the pass where there is no option to buy it :/. Other than that, it’s a great game

It’s really good. I love this game tons and really enjoy the constant updates (minus lamentis) but this game really needs a function so you can challenge your friends. That would boost my opinion of this game to five stars. Also I just have a personal and not serious anger towards the lamentis field so don’t take that seriously.

Greedy devs. Pay to win, bots, runs poorly on iPhone, expensive bundles, too many cards and locations, no guidance, crappy game. Not only that but to rank up you need to be very careful about losing cubes to the point where you might as well escape any game where you have a remote chance of losing, which is a huge waste of time. Delete this dumb game off your phone. Turns out the devs of this game used to work at Blizzard lol, makes sense why they’re greedy af.

Not bad but bugs ruined it for me. Started to really enjoy the game and was even tempted to spring for premium but just as I was about to finish the weekly quest for once the game dies and cannot be saved… not restarting… not cold booting… nothing… I reinstall and instead of it allowing me to use my snap ID with my Apple ID it just starts a new game and saves over everything even though my first play through was linked to my Apple account… disappointed but glad I didn’t spend any money though did invest some time… won’t be doing that again if they can’t reinstate my account

Game is rigged. Game is faulty and needs to be fixed because the match ups are predicated on the deck you play. As such the deck you play becomes essentially worthless but because you play against decks that beat you, it convinces you that if you had those cards to make that deck then you could win too. So you get those cards to make that deck only to be beaten by stacked cards again. And so the cycle continues. Then at the end of the season of 30 days or whatever it is you get the awesome opportunity of getting sent back 30 levels so you can do it all over again the next month. This could have been a great game but it is broken and am done spending money on it.

Really fun. This is one of the best card game apps I've played. The short and simple matches are perfect for a phone game and it looks good too. My only issue is occasionally the menus can be a bit buggy and not work 100% forcing me to reload the game. But it's never effected the gameplay. I can't wait for more content I hope you add the ability to verse friends and some sort of tournaments events.

Great! But why can’t I redeem rewards?. Hello! This game is one of the best marvel games to be honest and the team put very hard work into this! (Especially the music). One thing though, I can’t seem to redeem certain rewards. I hope there’s a glitch fix soon for this kind of issue! Anyways I recommend this for someone who likes marvel and strategy games:)

Help!. I cant get into the game! I open the app, see the “new challenger is waiting” window, cant press any other button on the screen and when I press the button “connect”, it tries to get in, showing “connection to the game”, then immediately turn the screen back to the main menu with error “Do not able to connect the game servers” and locks any menu buttons from taps. Main menu just got locking. Tried to re-install the game 4 times now, tried to “close-open”, but always the same problem. What can i do? I got through the training, really enjoyed design and gameplay and want to continue playing :(

So addictive!. If you love strategy or card games you will love this! I don’t play games often so the fact that I can’t put this down is saying something. No annoying ads either

Stay away. Total cashgrab.. As the title says the game is just a blatant cashgrab and you should stay away from it. It's fun for the first couple of weeks until you get thrown into the big sharktank of players who mostly have better cards than you and you just play the catch-up game to get better cards while new cards being released. And let me say you mostly need a whole month of farming non stop to even get one new card to play with. Along with it the game is full of stupid FOMO stuff. Want a certain skin for your cards better get it now since you won't see it for month in the rotating shop. Oh you like a certain deck or cards. Well we nerfed the cards without any compensation. This game had potential but transformed into the most predatory free to play game out there and even the devs won't react to any complains on their official discord server. Do yourself a favor and never install that game.

Season pass doesn’t work. This game is really really fun although there’s one thing that isn’t working right. With each season pass there isn’t an option to purchase it, I’ve searched everywhere but there isn’t an option to purchase the season pass :(

Constantly Amazed…!!. This game is Everything…!! A #1 Digital Collectible Card Game, it brings me back to my TCG days of MtG and Star Wars TCG, yet fulfill my need to collect more Marvel… 😂 The game design is extraordinary, Ben Brodes & team made a thing of beauty… As a Marvel-lite, I am constantly amazed at how the game mechanics match the lore & characters’ backstory. The One game I have to check-in daily since Beta release. Thank you Ben & team! — Chris Masters Mah… (SBS’ New Gold Mountain, Land of Bad w/ Liam Hemsworth & Russell Crowe)

Make sure you save this game to an account!!!. This game is fantastic, but it has lots of bugs. Most of the bugs are resolved through reinstalling the app (it’s been about 5 times for me), which has been a bit concerning but all my data comes back and it hasn’t stopped me from sinking hours and hours into this fun game. Many people online have lost progress because they haven’t logged in with Apple/Google so definitely make sure you do that!! Updates are coming rapidly enough and it’s still in regional beta so hopefully it’ll improve - however the core gameplay is fantastic and addictive and I look forward to bug fixes soon 😊

Fun idea but too buggy. Great gameplay and nice and quick. However more of an issue is the number of game breaking bugs that have ruined an enjoyable experience. I have never been able toplay a single match while connected to wifi, on both my iPhone and iPad. I frequently cannot log in, with marvel snap support simply directing me to delete and reinstall, which works for one or two games before locking me out again. If you value you your time, steer clear until they fix it, which they will have to if they value their customers.

New tutorial is too much. I just decided to pick back up the app after a few months break, and I guess I chose the wrong account to log back into and got pushed into the new tutorial. It was so slow and I couldn’t believe how long it went. There was no skip button, so I deleted the app when it started a second ‘game’. Even if I was a first timer, there’s no way I would stick around for that long.

Great gameplay, good f2p. Very addictive gameplay, they make the collectability aspect really rewarding and it’s quite extensive. Tonnes of deck archetypes to choose from. Only bad thing is very rarely is anything worth the money. I buy the season pass every now and then but some of the “deals” in the shop are a ridiculous rip off. Never buy gold, just save it up

I’ve lost more time here than waiting for GTA6 to release. This game is so good I’m happy to say I spent 7 hours on it in the last 2 days. It’s strategic, fun and every game is different. The various builds and changing locations keep every game fresh, and open up to multiple different scenarios to encounter. Get this game right now and bobs your uncle.

Stay Away!. A somewhat decent game ruined by new predatory monetization and poor game balance among newly released cards. The game had potential at one point, but has naturally showed it’s true mobile game colors over the last few months. Don’t bother with it at this point. Such a shame.

Waste of time. There is only one card that matters in the whole game which is Thanos. Without him you loose. To farm him takes months of game play. Devs allowed this complete imbalance of the series 5 cards to go on for a month.

Do not start if you are f2p.. Right now the game feels so bad as a f2p player. The p2w cards power level is ridiculous. i am looking at you Zabu. Either spend money to have this card and enjoy the game or don’t have it and get destroyed by it in every match.

Game is good, support less so. The games support team is slow and not particularly helpful. The store doesn’t seem to work with any sort of consistency, so having those issues is bad.

Action Poker. Know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold em’ , if you want to really enjoy this game don’t have pride and retreat when you’re out of options. You can have great luck with areas but no luck with your deck synergy , or vicea versa or you’ll notice an opponent misplay then you snap or you get a god hand and perfect areas then you snap, some people will have spent the money/time to craft amazing decks so you respectfully retreat and go next, you’ll eventually get amazing cards that can fight these Meta decks if you just put in the time. I haven’t spent a dime and I’ve gotten over 100 cards and a couple really nice variants and they are generous with the rewards especially if you are doing your dailies and weekly’s.

So much better than expected. I went in with low expectations but man did ever exceed them. Enough RNG to make most rounds feel fresh without it being totally game breaking. The short games are a huge plus since most TCGs take so long it’s hard to approach but with snap I can just play quick in my short downtime throughout the day. Plus the monetization is way more transparent than the typical free mobile game only consisting of a battle pass and to skip the in game currency grind. Only major balance issue I’ve noticed right now is I think iron man should cost 6 to play but other than that the game feel pretty fair. Very well done and I will be playing regularly for the foreseeable future.

Fun…until you realize what’s going on. Game is entertaining UNTIL you hit collection level 3 and then you’re losing games against cards you have no good on getting until you pay. How do you compete in competitions you’re assigned to against Thanos, Lockjaw, Doctor Doom, Ultron, etc. unless you have a fighting chance? You don’t. Missed the mark Marvel Snap developers, you’re damaging the brand.

One of the best Mobile game until …. 90% of games vs Bots.. Really??? This is just terrible.

Amazing game hidden inside a dice rolling simulator. I have been playing this game for the last few weeks and so far find it to be quite enjoyable. The core idea of the game is fantastic, the 6 turn game limit is wonderful, the cards are interesting and enjoyable. Overall this is a great deck building game. BUT, and this is a big one For some unknown reason the people who made this game have decided that instead of focusing on all the things that make this an amazing deck building game, they will emphasize RNG (random number generation) as THE key gameplay mechanic. What they have done is taken what could be the best mobile game maybe ever and hidden it inside a dice rolling simulator. Every other location in this game somehow subverts players decks and strategies. The location “Ego” is the single worst this I have ever seen in a video game in my life. Forcing me to play with my opponents deck is tiresome and frustrating. Replacing my meticulously crafted deck with random cards is frustrating and undermines the entire game. Having a combination of locations that result in cards only being able to be played at 1/3 is idiotic at best. My recent experience of this game boils down to this: roll some dice, is your number higher than your opponents? Then congratulations you win!! I can’t possibly approach this game as any kind of legitimate or serious competitive game because skill is secondary to chance. If that’s your thing then go nuts. If you’re looking for a game that can be enjoyed on a competitive and strategic level then look elsewhere. Hopefully they realize this game is being handicapped by RNG and take steps to correct it. Otherwise this will be a flash in the pan and the player base will be gone within a year.

Game says you lose, you lose.. Most of the time the bases are negative or blatantly stop you from playing the deck you made. When they aren’t, you opponent’s high level cards you haven’t spent a year grinding for will be too powerful for you to have a chance. Then, once you finally get a fair game, something will trigger a random event that gives your opponent a 6 drop and you a 1 drop effectively handing them the match. The game feels fun until you regularly have multiple matches in a row that cause you losses for no reason other than the RNG came up against you. No skill, no deck building, nothing you do mattered you just lose.

Degenerate customer service. Great game but I have never encountered a useless gaggle of morons quite like the customer support team behind this.

Amazing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌

Great F2P game, terrible monitization. The game is quick, fun, and full of the great experience of making decks with the cards you just got, and those decks working. Only issue I have is that spending money on this game always feels like you don’t get anything, so you never get to play with newly released cards or feel like you’ll complete you’re collection unless you drop 1000s of dollars

Gambling but without the fun. The randomly generated effects ruin the game. Your input does not matter at all, the game plays itself. Your hand will get replaced at random by literal unplayable rocks, while your opponent will get 12 power 0 cost cards. If by some miracle you play the 1% match without the gamebreaking random effects, you will lose because your opponent has played longer than you and has access to better cards. You can’t even pay to catch up: if you don’t have a time machine and didn’t start playing at launch, you simply will not have access to the Pool 2 and 3 cards, while getting paired up against opponents that do. Whoever designed this game did so while having a stroke, it’s very easy to tell.

Not sure why this has 5 stars.. In app purchases basically required after lvl. 95 (about a day of play) which is a joke, a game like this wouldn't be acceptable on a gameboy so why's it asking people for $150.00 for in-app purchases for a crummy card game? Pathetic attempt at thievery basically, from marvel. Has anyone sued these developers yet on these grounds? I say we look into it and use this app and its' developers as the precedence to crack down on the unfair, youth targeted, predatory in app purchases and these game mechanics clearly developed to drive in-app purchases under a veil of 'xp grinding'. They need to be held accountable.

Just bad game design. No future. Not worth the download terrible game probably the worst digital card game ever created. I hate that this is the company that is trying for a marvel card game. Killed a great idea for the franchise. 0/5 second diner

Bad FOMO. Yet another game I can’t buy previous season passes on

Pure money sink. Once you get past the initial part the only way to get more cards is to spend money. Matchmaking makes even attempting to play fruitless as your often put up against players for to advanced or bots that predict your moves and counter them so you can’t advance only flounder around a certain point. They keep promising to balance it but never do. DON’T EVEN TRY SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY.

Good. Great game. I recommend playing it with friends.

Great game TBH!. Pros: No stamina system can play as much as you want Doesnt feel P2W, game starts off pretty balanced The terrain/location card in the middle really mixed things up so it doesnt get boring/grinding Cons: Credits not earned fasted enough after the first 10-20 levels, no one is gonna pay just to progress further Should gift more reward for winning player, as least some credits so i am not stuck unable to level up cards

Ouch. I was having difficulty ranking up so I put lip balm on my testicles and now they kind of burn. Someone pls help I need Kevin feige

Game is sooo random. You can never have fair matches (i played against unbeatable cards) but also sometimes cards don’t do their on reveal ability or i get some players playing 11 points in the 5th round… makes no sense to me! You either win a bunch of time in row or lose non-stop for hours at a time. The ‘random card’ effects always advantages your opponent and not you. Very often it gives them the card required to defeat you or mess up whatever plan you had. Building decks is pretty useless if the locations stop you from playing (eg: cards cant be played here, 1,2,3 cards cant be played and after turn x card cant be played here.) The game also advantages people that have been playing longer. Getting some of the cards is straight up impossible. Could have been very fun.. but its not.

NOTE BEFORE DOWNLOADING. Apps like these are hide their in authenticity behind there major brand. The the only time you have a decent shot at winning a match is when there’s another player. During off hours or maybe even if you live in less dense population, you face an AI of a players deck. The AI knows what plays you’ll make and counters them. Terrible rigged system.

It’s ok.. This is a fun game but it’s pretty p2w, anyone saying otherwise is sinking countless hours into it for their unlocks. The cosmetics are overpriced and barrier to entry for competitive meta decks is high. I like it but am not sure if it’s sustainable long-term since the barrier grows as more cards are added which will put off new players. Also they should release it on Mac silicon via steam not just ios.

It’s ok. The game is fine to play to kill a few minutes. There are too many locations that play for you. Not really interested in playing games with auto play. I often play the same opponent several times in a row or bots that have a counter to every card you have in your hand.

Banned for a user name fine in every other game. After months, and money spent they banned me for a user game without offering to change it or even an email. I use the same name in literally every game and have never had an issue, but can’t get a response from the lousy support.

Devs don’t listen to user base. Writing on the wall, this product will not exist by summer 2023.

Pay 2 win. Currently the pay 2 win card has so little counter play, the only card to counteract it has on average a 25% of countering it ONLY IF DRAWN. It’s a shame they took the hearthstone playbook.

App support is non-existent. A fun game, but when I got in touch with a couple of detailed rounds of questions, I was first told ‘Thanks for the feedback, we’ll pass that along to the developers’ (zero answering of any questions I had). And then when I wrote in again over confusion about why the operation of the game worked as it did — specifically, why players are knocked way down levels every season — I got a reply informing me that that happens. No explanation as to WHY it happens, just literally echoing that yes, that happens. Not helpful and frankly pretty confusing. I replied reiterating my questions, and some others, and got a response that sounded like it was from a bizarrely upbeat teen (complete with a number of emojis) just encouraging me to keep playing and I’ll get better at it. Again, not actually addressing anything I’d asked, and certainly not coming across as anywhere near professional. So yes, a fun game before my confusion and questions came into play, but simply terrible customer support which, paired with my problems with how the game level reductions (seemingly needlessly) operate, not something I’ll play again and not something I can recommend to others. This experience will also make me think twice about trying anything else this company puts out. Hope that greatly improves in the future.

Oh look another marvel cash in. Oh wait it’s actually fun? New twist on card games? Cards look cool and have tons of variants? Pleasantly surprised Edit: lowered my review. They keep adding more and more cards/locations that literally play the game for you. That’s not fun. Hopefully they don’t ruin this fun game

Insanely expensive. Excellent free content - no doubt about it. The game is addictive, lots of fun, and has great mileage without spending a penny. However, should you decide to spend money, their bundles are obscene. $100 or more for a card and some upgradeable stuff. If these we’re even $25, I’d probably buy them all as they come out. Again. Amazing free content but the paid is shockingly overpriced.

Predatory pricing. Beware.. Over the past few weeks and months the game has become more predatory and solely focused on whales. It’s a fun game for a bit but you quickly hit a wall and unlocking new cards becomes a snails pace which in turn pushes you towards spending $100s of dollars or just not wanting to play anymore.

Progression impossible unless pay to win. Want new cards? Want to win any game? Pony up, buddy.

139.99 are you nuts?. Dislikes: 1.Random reward system. This system make grinding really hit and miss making players feel under rewarded for time invested. This system also makes if very hard to get new cards(that you actually want). 2. Terrible in game purchase bundles. 139.99? It’s a mobile game no one wants to spend that much on anything. That’s the only bundle that will have any effect on you actually obtaining cards you want. (Get who ever thought of that out of the company) 3. Lack luster rewards for rank system. I don’t want a name plate that say “really really dirty” upon reaching the highest level. (Get this person out of here too) 4. No friend vs friend(yet). Hurry up Likes: It’s a fantastic game with good mechanics, artistry and replay ability. 5/5 if I could build a full deck I want. This game is burning out due to frustrating progression systems. Have fun!

Great game, having fun. No ads and not pay2win. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is I’m not personally motivated by pushing up the ranks or cosmetics. I’m forced to unlock cosmetics to obtain new cards, and since matches don’t award credits directly, I’ve hit a wall where I can’t get any progress until new quests pop up.

GREAT GAME BUT!!!. Once you get to pool 3 you’re playing with beta players who have months or exp & you start getting collectors caches.. just a fancy word for loot boxes and you stop gaining guaranteed cards.. very unfortunate.. I see lots of people either quitting or starting second accounts lingering in pool 1.. which sucks because you got pretty smart players playing against new comers because they can’t get some of these really important cards to continue to be competitive.. pool 3 players should be able to have some type of card shop asap otherwise I myself and a lot of YouTubers are saying interest may die down on the game fast… Msg to devs.. don’t let this great start fool you.. lots of games do massively well upon launch and don’t think certain aspects out quick enough and the community will turn on you fast… be smart.. be vigilante & be quick.

Fun at First, Gets Boring and Frustrating Quickly. It’s fun at first but then you realize it’s just the same thing over and over and over again. After a while you get matched with players who will completely destroy you. I went from winning 60-70% of matches to only winning about 5%. If you’re not a big hardcore strategist you will get completely destroyed and it’s just not fun consistently losing. There’s something wrong with the matchmaking. They should find a way to match people based on skill, not just random. The game is NOT geared to casual players looking for a quick bit of fun. This game is solely for hardcore expert strategic gamers who have a lot of experience and time to put into crafting their decks. Oh well, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. I think most of the reviews are from new players. I’m already reading a lot of people online saying they’ve deleted the app. Even the nerds I work with are done with it.

Terrible game. Just a bad game. Interface is bad, very glitchy and does not work well at all. Waste of time wouldn’t recommend downloading.

Great launch but lacks content. I have been playing for 3 days (started playing on global launch day) now and I gotta say it’s much more strategic than I thought it was going to be. The game has amazing visuals, quick, and is generally f2p. However, there is an extreme lack of variety; no clubs, no way to play against your friends, no other gamemodes, etc. Overall, the game is great especially considering it just launched Global and I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Incredibly broken mess. There's about 2 or 3 cards that matter and if you don't have them you're absolutely screwed. Good luck unlocking them too. And thanks for removing my previous review, really cool of you. Nerf Wong too, or hire some people who can balance things properly

All Hype. First issue with this app is that it’s ridiculously expensive to buy in-game currency to either upgrade your deck or buy variant cards. Most of the variant cards feature awful artwork and they’re super expensive for each one. The next and biggest problem is the opponent selection process is absolutely awful. Once you advance past the second tier and have collected all the cards in that group, you get matched up against anyone else and they will always have better cards than you do. So, if you really enjoy getting “snapped” and losing 2-4 cubes all the time, it’s a great experience. It’s not even a “learning curve” issue; you simply cannot win matches with inferior cards. Oh, and anyone who claims that this game isn’t pay-to-win hasn’t been playing enough or for very long. If you don’t buy the “Season Pass” you won’t get the featured special card, and, it’s always very powerful. 80% of my opponents have these cards and other cards that they have paid for, so losing most matches is what I’m used to. Everything is also extremely random; locations are fairly absurd, draws never seem to work out fairly, and, the synergy of your deck is flushed down the toilet. A match has six turns for each player to play, however, it’s my experience that on a third of the turns provided I can’t play a card in my hand. This is either due to the poor locations that have limited play, and, the randomness of drawing from your deck. Overall, this could be a great game but it just isn’t as good as it should be. It’s absurdly expensive, too reliant on random number generator in its gameplay, and, opponents are often unfairly selected.

Just get it, periodt.. Don’t second guess yourself, especially if you typically don’t like these kinds of mobile card games. It will surprise you, I promise!

Was a great game. Was a great game, spent a lot of time playing and even bought the last two seasons passes, silver surfer and zabu were the cards you received, great! Then after they have your money they nerf the cards! I’d like my money back!

Straight RNG game. If you like RNG you will like this game

Cured my depressions. Big dubs!. A couple hours ago I was just a sad little man, laying in bed at 1:30pm in the afternoon because my girlfriend left me and I was hiding from the fridge — she left me because I am overweight :( That’s when I saw on Snapchat a 3 part advertisement for Marvel Snap. I watched all 3 parts. It was good. But I didn’t get it because I thought it would not be good, but I was completely wrong. It wasn’t until I saw the ad again on Instagram approximately 3 and a half minutes later that I decided why not? Why shouldn’t I get this game? My girlfriend left me so I had no one to tell me not to! I quickly smiled mischievously and oh boy was this bout to be a great day. I have currently been playing for 16 hours straight and can’t stop. This game is too good. It’s perfect. It’s literally a work of art. I know I should eat something soon but nahh I just need to run 1 more game… Thank you Marvel for this marvellous awakening. It is so good so fresh almost as fresh and good as She Hulk. I am in love

So fun, but a serious flaw. This game is amazing - up to collector level 500. As soon as you hit that level your opponents start to have SO many more advanced cards then you that it’s just no longer a fair fight at that point. The developers really open the pool of opponents you get once you hit that level, but at that point your opponents clearly have so many more hours in the game than you do based on their cards and their titles that I find myself consistently having a tough time every match now as a Plat player. I don’t know what the solution is, but perhaps if you were matched with others that align closely with your collector level it would make the game fairer.

Game stuck at the end of season wasting all my efforts. i played competitively for the entire season, and on the last day, a bug makes my match enter an infinite loop. It won't end or allow me to quit. Aa a result I lost the reason rewards I could have gotten.

Bad support team. I got a new phone and I contacted the support team to get my account that was on my old phone with the name of the account and the support keep replying me with the same answer and not listening to what I say, very bad support team

Crashes. Good game, is what I would say if it stayed on the screen for more than five seconds! I will say nothing further, because things might have been different if it didn’t crash.

A Shame, Pay to win. I was actually really, really amazed at how this game was fun and got me back into mobile gaming.. However, Once I got through the first 20 levels I realized it was just a way to try and hook you into getting a battle pass. Normally I don’t mind because its just cosmetics but they PAYWALL cards!! absolutely disgusting.

Fun, some cards/locations are still broken.. Cosmo needs a counter. He’s too cheap and too strong. Nebula should start earning points the turn after she’s played, as written, not the turn after she’s revealed. Negasonic Teenage Warhead needs to actually follow the rules on her card. It says ANY card, just like that, all in caps. ANY means Colossus. It means Armor. It definitely means Cosmo since she’s not On Reveal, but he blocks her anyway. It means Prof. X. It means the Goblins. Rocks that get shuffled into decks seem to always land on top. Like ALWAYS always. Lastly, Yondu either destroys cards or he doesn’t. If he gets a card with a destroy effect then it should activate, or he needs to be reworded. One other thing, on locations. Some of these are just not fun. TVA makes the game too short. Ego is a nightmare(Agatha too), it would be ok if he could actually play the game but it’s just random cards. X-Mansion needs some balance, love when I get Quicksilver while my opponent gets Infininaut. Maybe just make sure both sides get the same cost?

Great Game, Needs Changes.. Pro’s: Playing the game itself is fun. I like that you can’t “necessarily” buy your way to the top. You can spend money on the pass, but that doesn’t grant you the best cards in the game. The Location abilities can be awesome or annoying, but they challenge you. What is nice is the variety of Locations and their abilities make it so the game is not stale. The cards, their abilities, the artwork, etc. are great, with plenty of variety to earn, buy, win, upgrade, etc. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are nice, and I like that you can retreat without getting punished too badly. The Con’s: I feel like I should be able to choose which card variant I want to see able to be upgraded. You earn variants but that doesn’t mean you want them to be upgraded and, yet, there they are. It gets in the way and becomes a nuisance having to scroll through multiple variants of the same card you will never upgrade. If I select a variant to be the main artwork used in my decks, just show that one as being able to be upgraded. Something along those lines. There needs to be a greater variety of cards you can spend tokens on with varying costs. I love that you can pin a card so you can save up for it, but stop cycling the same cards around and around ever day. Lastly, I think there needs to be a gameplay mode for “non-ladder” play that doesn’t impact your ranking. If I build a deck and want to test it out, why should I lose points for it?

Bots. There’s no other way to say it. You’ll find yourself doing great until you hit around 50ish. All of a sudden winning a match becomes almost impossible. “People” you’ll play against will have cards that perfectly work with random boards. You’ll find yourself not drawing the cards that set up your combos like when you were rank 20. This has happened every time I get past rank 50. It’s a joke. I’ve switched decks and every time I do the “people” I play against switch and have the counters and plays that beats me every time. I’m not the only one who has this happens to them. I play with a group of people from work and the 2 other guys who play it like I do say the same thing. Everything is fun, and they win and lose some matches until 50ish then it’s like pulling teeth to win a game. Obviously they want you to get upset and spend money so you buy gold to then buy credits to lvl up your cards so you can get rewards. And hopefully you’ll buy the big bundles to help your game.

Fun at first, but expensive and unrewarding over time. The game starts out fun and offers a lot of variety in gameplay. After a few months though the rewards dwindle to next to nothingness. Recent changes to try and address this have seemingly made card acquisition worse. I used to average 3-4 new cards per month. The new system promises more cards for more players but not only is it a gacha luck based system but you most definitely get less cards with the removal of in game currencies from the collection track. My biggest gripe however is the price. I understand the developers need to make money but some of the bundles they sell cost $100 USD and basically reward you with one card. The recent Darkhawk bundle cost $30 for 1 card that many players were (under the original system) supposed to have access to for free. The main reason for this was that the card was really good and really popular. I guess the devs decided that instead of F2P players having access to it for free it would benefit them more if they charged $30. Many video games offer DLC’s for far less than the cost of 1 digital card in this game.

Very good but…. It’s a very good game all around. I’ve been hooked on a game I originally laughed at the idea of playing for about 4-5 months now. The game is fun as long as you enjoy it casually but consistently. You can’t play too much otherwise you will be unhappy with the slow and unreliable progression of the series 3 cards (later rank cards). On the other hand if you play every day and simply complete your missions while trying to have fun with what you have it will likely be an enjoyable experience. I have spent money on the battle pass and one time for $10 worth of gold and after 4-5 months I’m stacked on nearly every series 3 card as well as some really cool variants to stylize my decks a lil. Would definitely recommend despite some of the complaints some people have. I will warn and say there are bots but it’s necessary in a game where the progression system essentially has its own economy. The rank up points need to come from somewhere and these bots add them.

Good Game Terrible Economy. The best thing this game does is misdirect players. It will lead you to believe you have a nice fair f2p game on your hands long enough for you decide you enjoy the game. Then you hit Pool 3. Trying to get a card that will literally determine if you can compete in this tier is like looking for a penny at the bottom of the ocean. Collector crates or whatever they’re called include New cards, Gold, Credits, Boosters,Titles and variants of cards you already have. To make matters worse in order to climb the rankings you have to play people who are THOUSANDS of collector ranks above you with better cards that lend themselves to better strategies. Solution? Enter Collector tokens. Remember the best thing this game does is misdirection. Not only do they only give you access to 1 card every 8 hours the rotation includes series 4&5 cards that cost up to 6 TIMES as much as pool 3 cards amounting to a number they value at over $200 real USD based on recent “holiday bundles”. If diluting the very mechanic you created to combat a diluted loot pool wasn’t enough guess where you obtain the tokens from? The same loot crates that created the problem to begin with! The only reason I took the time to write this is because they had the audacity to make an ad campaign highlighting this change as them making an improvement based on player feedback. Literally nothing has changed.

I love it! Pay-to-play is nerfed!. I play a few mobile games, and when I find one that I like and it’s balanced well- I play for years. Most mobile games are overrun by pay-to-play players who exploit the ability to pay for upgrades- so unless you’re dropping half of your earnings on those particular games, you’re not going to be able to compete… Marvel Snap is one of the best games out right now, and the developers have completely nerfed pay-to-play players! Can you pay for upgrades? Yes! But the upgrades are for different card variants, or upgrading the looks of your cards. This game is amazing, because you can still compete without dropping hundreds of dollars on it. And the variants of cards are so cool, that there’s still incentive to pay for more gold to snag them in the shop! Hats off to you guys! You really made a great game that I know I’ll be playing for a long time!

Fun game recent weird occurrences. Game is fun and matches don’t take too long. They are over if just need something to keep you occupied for a few minutes and would love to see more things added. Now for weird things that have happened the first, I was playing against someone do not recall their name I’m assuming cheating they were able to playing abomination, she hulk and one other card on turn 6 and had a cyclops with an ability when as you guys know he doesn’t have one. The second one I was playing a match where I could fill a location with a card I chose mordak and I had swarm and doomsday and other cards in hand. When I filled that location it did the proper way that swarm is played two dups that cost nothing but then it fast forwards and when all was said and done they all cost two instead of zero. I don’t know how or why they costed anything I’m assuming they should have been zero since reading the card explains what happens. Just something to look into

Great game!. I almost never leave mobile game reviews but I love this one and had to write something! This is an incredibly thought out and well balanced card brawler. I used to play Hearthstone a lot and this game has traces of that one. It’s well balanced, with a few OP cards that could use a nerf or two but for the most part it’s very balanced. I love how the developers have thought about the characters and given them abilities that make sense for those characters. Colossus, for example, cannot be destroyed and Multiple Man leaves a clone of himself if moved. These are nice touched that tell you the devs put thought into card design. The graphics are great, sound is superb! One thing I would like to see are more location variety but I’m still giving it 5 stars because that’s something that can be given in updates! Nice job on this one dev team! You made a mobile game that I can’t put down and that rarely happens!

Could be great but becoming pay to win. The game started off good but every Season you basically need to pay for the new pass to get the cards that are in the meta. The new cards dominate and you need to pay for them to win more often. I also feel there is a script in place that controls wins and losses by placing you against counter decks and locations. (I switch decks after a string of losses and an extended time playing and it just so happens that I play the exact counter to the new deck I chose. No). They said it themselves that they didn’t want people playing for long periods of time. I know this is a theory but when you play for 30 mins and you win for the first 15 and then everything starts going against you, it looks really fishy. I am over 4000 and in my caches I’ve gone from getting 200 tokens to 50 (need 5000 for a new card). Slowing the rate that free to play players can get the good cards. I mention free to play because Marvel snap used to pride themselves on not being able to buy your wins but they are getting worse and worse every update.

Amazing, if only some things were tweaked. It’s definitely the best mobile game I’ve played since Angry Birds Star Wars was still available. My main issue is about gold, it’s harder than I feel it should be to get gold, and it’s much harder without spending money for the season pass, which is another issue I have since it’s $9.99. Back to the gold problem I feel that variants are too expensive, without the season pass you can only really get around 250 gold each week (unless you do that one optional mode, I forgot what it was called but it has an exclusive currency) Based on about 250 gold per week, it would take about 3 weeks to be able to afford a variant, but since there’s 2 prices for variants it could also take you close to 5 weeks. I don’t think the issue is how hard gold is to get quickly, but instead how much variants are, if they were even dropped the price down to 600 and 1000 it would be much easier to afford variants.

This Game Smashes the Competition!👊. I’ve played this game since a few weeks after its release and it still is getting better. As new cards are put into play, new strategies are introduced and it just gets more and more exciting. I love using my destruction cards to throw my enemies through a loop or my location changers deck to create a scene of chaos. New cards means more scenarios to adapt and change to, meaning new ways to light up the competition. The only things that could make the game better are a way to look back on previous matchups to see what works and to show off your best battles to friends, and the ability to compete in a type of league tournament against other super invested players for a huge reward Other than that, this game just needs to stay the course and continue to add new cards and locations and it will remain on a high place in fan hearts everywhere EXCELSIOR!!!

Great game, minor suggestions. Let me start off by saying this is probably the best mobile game I have ever played. F2P friendly, short games, great animations, and overall just a great game. I do have a couple suggestions though, maybe make customizable backgrounds/battlefields. Right now the background sometimes seems a little empty, and I think different looking backgrounds would look really cool. They could be a reward in the season pass and unlockable with gold too. A clan system/any kind of social system would be nice too, I never realized how much of a huge player base this game has until I looked online, right now it seems like you are isolated. The fact I have said nothing about the gameplay just goes to show how good this game is, and I hope the developers respond to this review as well as they have responded to the rest of the community’s suggestions.

5 stars W/ room for potential. ATTEN DEVS: Long time CCG player. I know zero % about the marvel universe. Still love this game. Five stars. Here’s some things I would love to see however. Flavor text: like I said, I’m among the decimal percent of people who haven’t watched the avengers and know who any of these people are. Reading about the characters would be a neat touch. Snap UI: it’s just confusing how snap priority works. When I can click it. When I can’t. Visually, I bet there’s a way for it to be more intuitive. Incentives: I’m sure this is intentional but the grind for cards in pool 2 is excruciating. Now as someone who throws money at CCGs, I have no problem fast tracking a collection with money but the conversion of $ to cards is appx $10 bucks, so it would be $240 bucks give or take for the pool 2 collection or 2 weeks of grinding. Obviously that feels intentional to keep a player base active while giving the whales a way to own a collection quicker but I feel caught in between. Where are the occasional shop specials? Or why can’t the caches that take forever to grind offer more than 10 boosters? Make the juice worth the squeeze and I’ll happily grind. Lastly stats: this is controversial but it would certainly appeal to the long time CCG crowd like myself. Anyways, non of these points is meant to detract from what is an otherwise extremely fun and addicting game. Keep up the good work devs 👍

F2P that feels good.. I downloaded the game on a whim a on 10/9. And even when I did. I waited a week or so after to open it. I regret not downloading the game sooner. This is the first f2p game that I’ve played in a while, we’re losing doesn’t feel bad. In games I’ve been playing since day 1 most times the sting of defeat feels rooted in the belief that the other person paid to win. Here, that doesn’t happen. Because eventually people playing as long as you, if not longer will have access to the same cards. Same abilities. And it really is just, who added a key card to their deck, the location selection, and pure luck of the draw. And the fates weave the tale they wish to spin on that playfield. The disappointment of loss is more about your planning and luck, and as humans you can really learn from your mistakes and you can learn to not let things out of your control get to you… You know, for a game or any recreational activity

Mixed Feelings. 10/22 First, let’s start with everything WRONG about this game. Why are there pay-to-win cards? That’s disgusting. The only things that should be pay-to-win are profile pictures and variants. Why can’t everybody enjoy the new cards and season unlocks? Do we really have to pay $10 for such a necessary feature? That is pretty jank. Lastly, there are some OP cards but that review is for another place and time. Next, let’s talk about everything this game did RIGHT. It’s amazing, it’s easy to learn, it’s unique, it offers 60fps, the games are quick, there’s tons of cards, and has a decent in-game store to redeem credits daily. I really enjoy this game! Overall, it’s a great game, and the pros out weigh the cons. Please address and fix some of the jankyness! 12/23 Early December 2023 update changed the game quite a bit. I like to call this update “the indoctrination update” because it took away and changed many things we knew and loved about the game. Changes included in almost every category. Why do this to your fan base?

A Strategic Masterpiece… if you’ve got a buck to spare.. I absolutely love this game. The morning I got it, I was hooked, and I’ve played it for a couple of days now. Unlocking beloved characters with various pieces of art and ways to upgrade such art is a lot different than other games I’ve played. Each round is short and exhilarating, containing popular characters with great abilities and iconic locations with their own quirks. My main problem is the Premium Pass. When I saw a new event (at this point, the symbiote event), I got really excited, seeing I could earn Miles and Carnage. But, when I got enough points racked up, I found that I didn’t receive them. This was because I didn’t buy the Premium Pass for $10. It’s disappointing seeing that I can’t unlock some of the iconic characters this game has to offer because I’m not willing to spend money. Other than that, I highly recommend this for strategic gamers who plan ahead and like something nice and short.

Good game, could be great game!. This game is amazing. It’s so fun to strategize each move with all the different cards and abilities. Gameplay wise, it’s super fun! But the UI and ease of use is…well it takes some getting used to. Little thing like when creating a deck u can’t check a cards ability in your collection, or player name changes. The game does have In game purchases which honestly can be concerning on how it will effect match making and balancing pay to win and free to play users but I haven’t been far enough into the game to really complain about that yet so I simply won’t. With all that being said, the game is good as it is, and has potential to be even better. EDIT‼️‼️ my apologies, there seems to be something wrong about my complaint. You actually can check a cards ability while in the collection section, I just didn’t have something’s downloaded I think it may have been “Card VFX” as when that was done downloading it could see them.

Pleasantly Surprised!. I don’t ever write reviews on games, much less mobile games. I honestly don’t ever play mobile games. However, Marvel Snap has utterly blown me away. This game is proof that developers can create good, fun mobile games without having to milk their consumers dry for every single penny they could possibly salvage from them through petty monetization and restricting gameplay time through micro-transactions. Marvel Snap is addictive, fun and truly free in the utmost sense of the word. The amount of cards and experience you gain from simply playing the game is next to none when compared to other “free” mobile games. The gameplay is quick, easy to learn and the card collecting is really addictive overall. I have really enjoyed playing this game and am excited to see where it goes! If you are looking for a good mobile game that is free and truly representative of good game design, look no further.

Least P2W Marvel Game (so far). I played mcoc for years and the ceiling grew exponentially, and the only way to bypass all the arbitrary time wasters such as, energy, and revives, were to pay. Future fight is arguably worse! They do give far more free upgrades to even top tier stuff, however the game has the same grind with micro transactions that scale the more you buy them. This game rewards you for playing. That’s it, you play, and the more you play the more you progress. And, if you’re better at the game you progress faster. The biggest thing that makes this game so good is that you can’t upgrade your cards power, you can only make them look cooler. The first battlepass is all free, however the second battlepass costs $9.99 which is ridiculous. You do get free items that are spread out very wide on the levels of the battlepass, but if you get to I believe level 50 you get free crates every level that give you currency to upgrade your cards or cosmetic skins for your cards.

F2P friendly fast card battler. This is surprisingly really fun. There are so many Marvel games out, so I wasn’t even going to try it, but I saw people on Twitch streaming it, so I was curious. Even though there are in-app purchases (there aren’t many free games that don’t…), the game is more F2P friendly than most. The in-app purchases are mostly all for card “variants,” which are like different skins for the same card. They’re purely cosmetic. After you get passed a certain point, you can pay for a season pass that gives you extra rewards for progression for $10 USD. Those are the only in-app purchases I’ve seen. For this fact alone, I continued playing. And the second reason I really love this game is that the battles are FAST. I’ve played many card battlers and it’s always a pain getting through just one because they take so long. Marvel Snap battles are fast, you’re not rushed, and they’re easy. I don’t think there’s a reason not to download.

Good grief!. It’s ridiculous that there are two cards that if drawn can completely devastate their opponent with no hope to defend against them.. On top of that they’ve been out long enough now that more and more people are starting to get them.. Well the ones that pay to win, anyway. I’ve literally dropped 7 levels in the tank in less than a week. You keep shoving clever ways to make more money for yourselves in our faces disguised as ways for us to “get the cards we want” all while declaring that the collection system is fair. Then when we finally get a card that we need we start getting destroyed by a whole new card that you released without balancing and the cycle starts again. We finally get that card and you nerf it. I don’t mind losing. What I don’t like is a card that complexly changes the rules of the game and I’m not alone, my friends that I play with agree. I’ve bought the season pass every season since Spiderman but I said no this time. I won’t give my money to a game that’s broken. Fix Galactus. Fix Shuri.

Fun causal. It’s fun for playing casually when you have some free time. It’s quick and easy. It’s missing some more than welcome features like friendly play with friends and cpu play for deck testing. Some cards seems to be only available if you buy the season pass but not necessary to do well but can play heavily on certain decks. The biggest gripe is that the locations can immensely favor the outcome of who will win. The game rely on way too much luck. Example: one location will replace your entire deck with random cards, another location destroy any cards played there which will heavily favor a deck that has cards that has destroy affect, another location move unit which heavily favor a moving deck. Overall it’s fun to kill sometime but can be frustrating when you lose because of the location. More stable cards seems to be getting nerf that really don’t need to be but the developers feel that the meta need to shift which kind of destroy some decks, my favorite C3.

Best Game in the App Store. I almost never go out of my way to review a game unless it is terrible, but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t come on and say something about how incredible this game is. It is easy to learn, free to play, and NO ADS. All of your favorite characters are in the game, and even if you don’t care for anything Marvel related, it would be so easy to get into this game. Each card is has unique powers that any layman can look at and pick up on, no Marvel knowledge required. I have been playing for several weeks now and the game has yet to bore me, and actually, it is quite the opposite. I look forward to extra time in my day just to play this game. And the best part is that you can squeeze a quick game into your day, whether it be a quick walk to the store or break time at work, the games are spectacularly short for a typical card game like Hearthstone or Magic. I look forward to new cards, new artwork, and most of all, new mechanics!

Future update wants. So far this game has been great, I was expecting it to be completely different than it is, but I’m 100% enjoying this game and have been playing it for a week straight now. A couple things I hope to see in future updates, are the ability to add friends, maybe even make alliances/clans where we can eat rewards that was as well by completing challenges in a group. Also a better chat system, maybe free typing chat, with limitations obviously. But I’ve never seen anyone use the little coms that are implemented in the already, and makes me wonder sometimes are these just bots or am I playing actual people? As of right now the main thing I want though is the being able to add friends/play against them, even if that means I won’t get rewards for the battle to ensure there isn’t any boosting. Just been wanting to play my friends and see who can outwit who.

Best game, and!!. This was by far one of my Favorite games, was 5stars now 1. Due to a lot of recent cheating. the cheating has gotten terrible. There is no good way to report issues. You can press the report user button which takes you to some random Google sign in page, not gonna happen. I will say The game devs are constantly making improvements.. kudos to them for the constant work. A few notes for improvement. 1. Please place something in the game where we can suggest or discuss improvements or glitches some thing that doesn’t prompt me to re-sign into a new Google login. Also, Not a fan of find us os social media. 2. Please address the “Awe Snap” issue, every time I start to win a game .. bam .. booted 3. please note that Hella appears to be targeted as discarded all the time regardless of any other card in hand is and is more likely to be discarded with lady sif even if it is side by side with the infinite. 4. Lastly, there should be a penalty for retreating after turn 5 or for clock burning .. I will say even with these issues and getting annoyed with cheaters, clock burners, awe snap issues, it is still the best game out there.. just some improvements I see from my end .. thanks to the great devs

Best Mobile Game. I never write reviews but Snap is awesome. I haven’t spent a single penny on the game and I have 90% of the cards. If you don’t spend money, you’ll just have to choose like 5 of 15 very rare cards where people who spend money get all 15. But even without the the other rare cards you still have a huge collection and plenty of viable decks. I’ve gotten multiple friends into this game. It’s a fantastic game to play when watching sports or if you’ve got a background tv show on. I’ve played since it’s release and although I’ve been frustrated at times with how competitive it can get I still have a ton of fun with this game and keep playing. The devs are awesome and really listen ti the community. Aesthetics are 10/10. Each card is gorgeous and the variants are so cool to look at. I strongly recommend this game. And stick around until you get a collection level of at least 500 or so. That’s when the fun really starts!

Super fun as a free to play player. I am constantly recommending this game to my friends. I haven’t spent a dime and I’m collection level 3250. When your collection is small, it can take time to build up however, the more reliably you can complete the daily missions the faster your collection grows. My brother-in-law reached Collection Level 900 within a month, he is also free to play. As you collect the cards, try and focus on Staples that will go into your deck for the spotlight, caches and token shops. You’re not going to get every single card you want because the nature of the game is collectible, so newer players have cards that I haven’t unlocked yet and that’s part of the fun. When my budget loosens up, I will definitely be getting the season passes just so that I can accelerate faster! If you’re looking for a game that you can put a lot of time into and see progress without being paid to win, the marvel snap is it!

Cheats. I’ve been playing this game since it came out and I got frustrated with it uninstalled it and recently reinstalled it to give it a second chance. Upon giving it a second chance I can honestly say that this game is dynamic is set up for cheating. I have had 20 games in the last four days. I won one game out of 20. I have the same cards as my opponents somehow though, it’s like they know what I’m playing before I play it. The time between my playing cards and then playing their cards, they take forever the timer almost running out before they play their response to my cards. I do not see this getting any better. It’s only getting worse and I really don’t have time to waste on a game that has no chance for me to improve or better anything against the cheating of the computer or card layers because I just don’t see how a regular person could actually know what I was playing, unless this was a computer AI playing the game for them. Don’t bother with this game. All you’ll get is a bunch of cheat. You’ll never win against the computer. There packages are overpriced for what’s in them. This isn’t a great game avoid it.

Good Game. I’ve played a lot of mobile card games and this one has a decent free to play model. You can buy things but it’s a bit pricey so not too many people do it. The better part is the cards are pretty balanced on top of it being strategy/luck with the board spaces. I haven’t spent any money and I’ve only lost maybe 4 games while almost being in silver. Only issue I have is there’s no way to challenge friends or have a friends list from what I’ve seen. I think adding that feature (and even disabling progression with friend battles to prevent win trading with friends or fake accounts) would be a huge credit towards the game. Another feature I would suggest is some kind of trading system and/or store variant where you could “disenchant” / “sell” (you could even call it something like “snap to dust” or “dusting”) cards you don’t use to use the essence on cards you want.

Incredible Game. Takes the best elements from pretty much every digital ccg and combines them into one. I won’t be surprised when this takes over the card game market and Im for it! The monetization model is pretty solid (gameplay is the primary currency.)The game is exciting and fast paced. Cosmetics are awesome and the card upgrade will make you nostalgic as you grow (aww look at my infinity iron man, how naive I was to think you were a good card.) To developers, please nerf bar with no name and subterranea. 5 rocks is too many and bar with no name should be deleted from the game. Variety is great but some elements are just straight up not healthy for game state. (Maybe 2 rocks instead!) The flavor of cards is really well designed! Each character feels like what you would expect from those characters. Even though Im a 30 year old man I feel like a kid again with this app and the best part is it doesn’t cost a fortune to be competitive.

Was Great Until It Wasn’t. Played this game religiously for about 7 months and really enjoyed it. Spent at least $10/mo on it which is more than I spend on most other entertainment. But the most recent update simply deflated my enjoyment to the point I likely won’t play as much or not at all. The sad thing is, I want the devs to fix it. I don’t know that I’ve ever written a review before but I care enough about the game and have enjoyed it so much that I’m really hoping leaving this feedback sends a message. The game experienced massive growth and success but are now bumping up against not having an endgame and the majority of the marquee characters being available so they’ve changed the currency and rewards system to the point where there’s no real incentive to play or use your in-game resources. After a certain point, your ability to acquire new cards and not just worthless avatars and titles diminishes to near-nothing. My fear is that the game will soon just be bots and the whales. Second Dinner, please please figure it out. This new reward system basically removes any incentive for your legacy players - the ones who helped build your community - to continue playing.

Amazing! Might even say SPECTACULAR!. A fantastic new and inventive card game that delivers jam packed action and a variety of cards to collect. The mechanics are unique and very easy to learn, there’s plenty of ways to play the game and so far doesn’t seem to rely heavily on “Meta” every card can do amazing things in all kinds of decks. One of my questions is how do I earn credits without paying for them, I feel like it should be a little more accessible because I don’t want this game to end up as another pay to win game. Marvel has tapped into something that has lots of potential. Other questions/ things I would love to see in the future are adding friends and friendly matches, Ranked PVP, and who knows maybe even a card trading system. There’s other stuff but I think Marvel making this as unique as possible without trying to be another game is the best thing it can do. Check out Marvel Snap, I’m sure y’all will have a blast!

Some Issues but Great Game. This game is awesome! It’s really fun and there isn’t so many ads but I keep having issues, I try to change my deck and then it says Invalid Deck and I also can’t make a new deck, It would really help if you could fix this, I also could not be able to play for a while until somehow I could. I wish the developer could check it out and see what’s wrong. Also one more thing was that I hate how you have to pay to get premium, $10? That’s a lot of money, if you brought it down, I would buy the premium. But overall the game is fun and I really like it, but if you fix these problems, it would come to my joy. Last problem.. I upgrade my cards but when I get these points for like the season and mystery cards, it doesn’t work and then it doesn’t upgrade my card either, it says Try Again later and that’s been happening for almost a month, So please check that out. Overall game is great.

Splendid. The second I started playing this game I was having a blast. The way the 3 areas change to shake up the battle can ether make you or break you. Now you are probably wondering is it pay to win. I wouldn’t say yes but I wouldn’t say no ether. The reason I say this is because the currency you can buy allows you to get alternate art of your favorite characters or to buy their other currency that allows you to evolve your cards art. Now the reason I say it’s a yes and no is because in order to unlock random new cards you must first evolve the cards you already have. So let’s say a fresh new player battles it out against a veteran, the veteran may have more time played and possibly a more flushed out deck while the new player may be limited to the basic cards, due to the zones changing effects it can give an edge to ether one of the players. So it’s a friendly game for casuals and competitive players alike.

Used to be fun. I spend a couple hours a day playing this game. Well I used to. I’ve purchased season passes/bundles for a good amount of money through the last few months. Lately, it’s become obvious you’re mainly playing bots that know your moves and it has completely taken the fun out of it. Losing so much lately. Now you might think I’m just bitter I’m losing but it’s not even that. You’ll be matched up against someone using a specific deck (destroy/movement/death) but when you’re up, the opponent will often play a perfect card that has no business being in that deck to win or really mess up your hand. Today I was playing against someone using a movement deck and I was down big so I retreated, immediately started a new game and shocked to find I was about to play the same player, only this time, their deck was completely different. There would have been no time to swap decks in the amount of time between games. It just became so obvious to the point I’m throwing in the towel. Sure it’s like throwing away the $60 I’ve spent on it but it’s just no longer fun. Hopefully the developers fix their AI.

Incredibly great game with some card bias. I love this game! I’ve been playing it since the first month. I love collecting variants and finding unique decks. The new libraries are a great addition to the game. I would say it is a perfect game with the exception of one thing- weekly updates buff or nerf cards, and in all of the different deck styles (destroy, discard, collect, etc.) the destroy cards have never gotten a nerf. It feels like any card or deck that becomes a significant opponent to destroy decks immediately gets nerfed. Most recently this happened to Blob, for example. A 6 cost card gets maxed at just around 15 when 1 cost Deadpool commonly makes it to at least 32, 3 cost venom can be 13+, and 6 cost Knull gets the power of all destroyed cards. From what I’ve observed, many destroy decks are premium players, buying the $95 dollar cards packs, so I understand the need to keep them happy. But I think other play styles are valuable too. I hope the devs consider this some day. But either way I’m clearly still playing 😁

Not for casual players. Look, I’ve played this game A LOT with a collection level north of 6K and I like it. I don’t love it. Too many counter cards, too much toxicity in the store and community (just pull up a couple Reddit posts), and too thirsty for your time. A typical three game spurt for a casual gamer at level 50 will likely look like this: get a good hand with bad locations and retreat, get a bad hand and retreat, get a good hand but have a game ending counter dropped by your opponent and retreat. That’s not casual and it’s certainly not fun. You need to play north of 10 games and hope you win 50% of those games to climb. It’s just another grind fest that forces you to play decks you don’t want to play to be competitive (looking at you Shuri deck after the softest “nerf” I’ve seen in a competitive game in a while). Want to pull off a good Wombo combo? Want to Zola Black Panther? Better pray you have a zero cost card for Aero to pull or to be playing a newb or bot to pull them off. Again, that’s not fun. The game literally restricts you from playing your deck at every turn.

Game just released give it time. People are saying all reviews are bots but I am writing a review because I genuinely enjoy the game. I get some people can say it’s pay to get stuff and a cash grab for credits but the game just came out they will add more modes, locations, missions to earn way more credits. So we don’t need to pay to boost unless we really want to. It’s mostly visual upgrades anyways and I can’t wait to upgrade it all the way to see what it looks like. Really good job and yes it took years to make but you gotta understand how many people are in the marvel universe and I’m taking a guess and saying they nailed a lot of them in this card game, which by the way I love collecting cards and stuff so this is perfect. Add more of the stuff I recommend above and please add a system to at least see what level I can get some of my favorite hero’s unlocked unless it’s at random but I’ve been seeing otherwise.

Fun game, but very p2w. Played the game for a few months and it only took me a few weeks to realize its very pay to win designed. At one point i was 6 cards away from having every card in the game. However every week they drop a new card and if you are lucky enough you might be able to roll for it and get it. Otherwise be prepared to grind every minute if the day to be able to roll more than once and get the card every week. They constantly change the mets which is great, but not giving casual players the opportunity to be competitive with their decks is really unfortunate. On top of that the prices they want for some of these bundles is CRAZY. Like $70-$100 crazy. I completely stopped playing because of the way this game is setup and how difficult it is to keep up unless you have deep pockets. Really fun at first until you start noticing how difficult it is to keep up. The card acquisition really needs a rework, or the company needs to be less greedy.
