Great… before you broke it. I started using it today, Christmas day. I worked with it for probably two hours trying all sorts of things on all sorts of pictures. Then I went away from it for a while, came back he told me I had to update, I updated and now it’s broken. Anything I try to do it begins to process and it never stops and my phone just gets hot. Please fix because it’s great when it works. When it starts working again I do have one feature I think it desperately needs: color correction! It does so many beautiful things and such terrific enhancement and fixing and what not, but it doesn’t seem to detect bad 70s color and fix that it kind of sticks with whatever bad color you’ve got.

Excellent. Works just as good as advertised. I went and purchased the full version after seeing the basic do so well. The enhance feature is worth it alone, but the colorize tool is also pretty interesting in certain color schemes. The animate is decent but doesn’t have many choices, and the descratch feature works pretty well on minor knicks but still has trouble with major damage as I’ve found. Definitely worth the download and certainly worth the purchases options too.

This is a total upsetting ripoff Stop that Music!!!!. At least please, give the option of NO music!!! This music is absolutely depressing!!! Jeesh!!! Why??? STOP ADDING THAT HORRIBLE MUSIC!!!! Or give an option to not have any music!! Or Choices with an option for no music!!! I rated it 2 star so no one may ever see this. But here is my opinion. There are other better apps doing a much better job. Many issues bother me. No way to Not save only save offered. Added music that is sickening and maybe ok for a funeral home. The animation is awkward the color us off and not well done. The way they offer the lifetime membership or the short membership is scam feeling. That’s only a few of many more problems so far. With some improvements maybe this could be great in the future but seems like a couple of college friends rushed to get this out and did it. Best of luck with that but a person feeling like they are getting ripped off is not a good start.

Pixelup review. Happy with enhancing part, but descrach still not perfect. Also do not like that there is no Undo, or at least I could not figure out how to do it. If I’m not happy with result can not go back to original scan, and have to rescan photo again. Also took a while to figure out how to save to gallery, the download icon is on top left and is not prominent, I kept pressing “Done” button just to learn that image not saved to gallery. Can you move download button to top right, and Done button somewhere below, closer to main photo actions?

Amazing app. BEST photo enhancement I’ve seen. I have a lot of old and scratched, burry pics. Some are photos of photos. Some are old and faded. Some were taken with an older cell phone with smaller MP cameras. This app fixes them all. Ether yet, you can zoom and see details. IT IS NOT just making it “sharper” or brighter or crisper. It actually gets rid of the noise AND enhances those pics. SO AMAZING!!! I NEVER buy app’s as they are expensive and times are tough right now, but I did for this one. You won’t be disappointed!! For $40 bucks it’s for life. I hope that is still the case when this app explodes as a favorite because it will.

Promises Fulfilled. Exceeded my expectations. I am an amateur but I have tried many free and paid for apps that promised results and were a complete waste and huge disappointment. I have several old scratched photos of my mother when she was young and I have been trying to restore those. I finally found something that did an amazing job and sharing with my family member who can’t believe the results. I can’t stop…now I am throwing photos that I have had that are slightly blurry or imperfect into the app and I am hooked. Not all photos are a good fit for enhancements but this app is worth every penny!! I purchased the week trial but going back to do the annual fee.

I had to write this review. I love this app so much. I use it now instead of Remini, multiple times a day (I edit about 400 images a month for Uranus photo editing), anyway every single time I use this app even though I bought the lifetime subscription for $40 (that’s how good it is) it asks me every time if I will write a review here. I’ve never experienced this with an app ever before, usually you say no and it never asks again. So, I caved and wrote this review in hopes that it will never ask me again. Nice plan, guys. It worked.

Won’t allow me to cancel free trial. I thought this app was what I needed for a project but realized quickly that it was not producing the results that I needed and so I tried to cancel the free trial within two hours of starting it and there is no way to cancel. I have emailed twice and yet no response. There is no phone number anywhere in the app only an email address to contact and they do not respond. Within my email I told them I had just started the free trial within hours of the email and that I wish to cancel and that I do not want them to take any money out of my account to begin an actual membership because it was not what I needed. They only give you three days to cancel the trial but give you no way to do it. Something is wrong with that…

Some Decent Results but Privacy Concern. This app does a really good job with some types of photos but in other cases I don’t even recognize the faces that come back in the enhanced photo. In fact, sometimes the faces are kind of creepy - childlike. I also notice that in many cases, only the faces are enhanced while leaving the rest of the photo untouched. It makes it look like the faces are fine tuned but everything else kind of blurry. I have really only used this to enhance photos taken with older cameras with lower resolution, I have not done so much with the colorizing feature. Skip the animation - it crops only the faces from the photo and the final result is a very weird looking face - almost unrecognizable - with eyes moving around. Finally a concern about privacy - I suspect this is similar to the app that was going around a couple of years ago where it made you look like you were really old or young. There was a concern then that the photos were being collected by Russia for a facial recognition database. This is no different - I noticed you cannot use this app unless you are connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or cellular signal). That means the photos have to be transferred somewhere and returned enhanced rather than it being enhanced on your local device. Just an observation. All in all - a good novelty but don’t expect miracles.

Terrible!. I ended up paying $50 for this because I thought it would be great for old photos. IT’S NOT!! It puts random eyes, etc on the pictures, looking NOTHING like the person. I’ve tried it on numerous photos and still haven’t gotten a good result. I did it on a photo of a 2 year old girl and it made her look like a middle aged man! Plus it doesn’t do the whole photo, only the faces. I contacted support hoping they’d let me just pay for the trial and refund the difference, since I’d just purchased the day before, but they never even bothered to respond to me. I thought at least I could use the AI feature for fun to get my money’s worth, but no. They charge you for every one you want to do. NOT INCLUDED in the $50 lifetime membership. Total waste of my money and I DO NOT recommend. If you’re determined to try it, please just do the trial before dropping $50, or whatever the price currently is.

It’s fun…until 12 pics. I have a problem with this app and the problem is you can only use 12 photos from its three selections, don’t get me wrong app is actually pretty fun if you want to see your photos become animated or cleaned up from its blurriness. it’s just that there are plenty apps that allow different opportunities and that’s understandable but this app only allows you to use 12 photos max even if you delete the ones that are saved or even used for its three modes, I could find another one but this is probably the best app of all time when it comes to fixing your or somebody else’s photos. I think they should add 30 or 50 Photos of Max at least. but even then once you get to that point if you delete them that were saved on the app then you can just keep using it over and over. that’s what I think should happen but it only takes up 12 photos even if you delete them. so whatever photos you want do use to clean up or animate this is the only time you can do it and it better be a good photo because it won’t let you do it again

Too Many Ads For What You Get. I don’t like leaving comments like this but the ad showed photos that would really look amazing, these look passable but not professional as they made it out to be. To top it off every button you press will make you watch an ad to the point where it took me over 2 minutes to just unblur ONE PHOTO this app puts itself too highly for such an over rated and poor quality edit of the photo. I just wanted a better image of my dog who passed away years ago and this app made me wait 2 minutes just to have it be low quality fixes and left me choosing the older and blurry photo over the app’s. I would say look elsewhere cause this just made me sad.

Great but annoying!. I downloaded the app to raise the resolution in some photos that a customer had given me for a project. From what I seen in the before/after, the pictures looked significantly better! I won’t know for sure until I upload them onto my canvas. I only gave the app 3 stars because I literally have maybe 12 photos to “enhance” and by the time I finished the 2nd one, I had seen the “rate us on the AppStore” pop up about 6-8 times! Super annoying when you’re in a deadline and not to mentioned already feel rushed. I’m only writing this review now so that hopefully I can actually get some work done with out the pop up pestering me to “rate me, rate me!” 😞

The Ultimate App for Photo Enhancement and Animation.. Pixelup is an amazing app that lets you transform your old, blurry, or black and white photos into stunning HD images with vibrant colors and animations. Whether you want to enhance your selfies, restore your vintage photos, colorize your black and white memories, or animate your loved ones, Pixelup can do it all with its enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology. I have been using Pixelup for a few weeks now and I am amazed by the results. The app is very easy to use, you just need to upload or take a photo and choose the option you want to apply. The app will then process your photo and give you a high-quality output that you can save or share with your friends and family. Pixelup has helped me to revive my old photos and make them look new again. I have also had fun creating my own avatars and animating my photos with different effects. The app has a lot of features to explore and enjoy, and it is constantly updated with new improvements and additions. If you are looking for an app that can enhance and animate your photos with AI, you should definitely try Pixelup. It is a game-changer for photo editing and restoration, and it will make you fall in love with your photos again. Pixelup is free to download and offers in-app purchases for unlimited access to all features. Download Pixelup today and see the magic for yourself!

Annoying splash screen for review. But the app seems to be very good. I have not had success with colorizing. Seems way off and nothing like what is advertised BUT if your like me someone that uses multiple platforms THIS app does a lot of the heavy lifting!!! I think it’s strong suit is the enhance and followed up with the scratch remover. Everything else is ok. Bottom line for me it’s a great app and worth getting. On a side note to the developers…I believe you should change the UI either rename or move the “DONE” selection. Every time you edit/tweak a picture to your liking I have pressed done so many times thinking it would finalize the edits..instead it would close the photo and I’d have to start all over again from the beginning! If the app wasn’t so good I would’ve been more annoyed with it and uninstalled it.

Improves Photos, Poor Functionality. It’s a solid application to improve photos. In most cases the images look real. Sometimes the AI goes overboard and give you an abstract result, meaning you need a decent picture to start with. The functionality is poor. To erase processed history is very time consuming, sometimes taking longer than the enhancement process. Certainly more cumbersome. Even after paying, the popups are obnoxious. Which is the reason I’m writing this review. It reminded me to review after every process. Before that is was about turning on notifications, which I didn’t want, but it was persistent. So now I have them on. If you want to improve photos, this does the job. But be warned about the functionality and excessive popups, especially for a paid app.

Animation is strange. I was excited to try this app because my mom is passed on and wanted to animate her photo to see her move again but the animation is lacking. It looks strange and nothing like the ads suggest where a loved one is moving gracefully. They have weird expressions and the mouth and teeth are distorted. They even offer a drunk expression. So strange. All the emotions make the photos looks scary to be honest. Very different than the commercials portray. I’m very sad and disappointed the animation is not true to what they show on the ads especially since I paid $40 for this app. I have yet to try the torn photos or damaged photos in it. I have enhanced a black and white photo and it was just ok. Not as accurately portrayed on the ads. Definitely not worth $40

False advertising and very subpar capabilities for the price. Doesn’t work anywhere near as well as the ads. Subscription is very expensive and crazy that they charge weekly so that you only have 1 week to try it before you start getting charged. Ultimately it doesn’t work well, it gets faces very wrong and any added detail it gets looks weird. The instagram ads were totally fake and misleading, showing photos that were clearly edited with a filter to make them look bad for the before pictures. I’m mad I ended up paying for this and trusted that it could do anything remotely near what the ads show. For the price, you can just get a photoshop subscription and learn how to actually edit photos.

Convert your photos to HD quality. I had a photography shoots some pictures of my rehearsal/recording studio for me to advertise on my website. My webmaster told me that all of my photos were shot in 640 x 427 format. He asked did we have these photos in HD. I called the photographer to asked could he resend my photos back in a HD format. He said that he need to Google this to figure out how to convert my photos to a HD format. I haven’t heard back from my photographer as of yet. Needless to say, I googled it myself to see if it was possible to convert my photos.. The answer is YES !!!! I downloaded this app. In the matter of minutes, I was able to convert all of my photos to HD. I just want to say THANK YOU!!!

Lots of tapping required. I have been using the trial version for one day. I’m generally happy with the results but… If I apply the Enhance and then apply the Colorize I have to wait for it to process twice because they are two separate tasks. It would be nice to be able to pick these two options and have it do both procedures at once. I realize it may take longer than doing just one but it would save me multiple taps. It would also be very nice if I could select multiple photos and when I tape Done it would move to the next photo selected. The near constant prompts “Do you like this?Want to rate it in the App Store are annoying. Most annoying is I wanted to use this on my ipad as it has a much better and larger display but the app doesn’t support larger/ipad size screens. This is a major flaw in my opinion. I haven’t decided if I will continue past my trial period yet.

5 Stars, No Doubt. I never buy apps. But I tinkered with the “Enhance” feature on a few vintage photos of my family members, photos that I’ve only ever seen in anything other than 1960 resolution, and the results had me sold after doing it to 3 different pictures of my Grandpa, who passed before my birth. Seeing the enhanced result of my beloved late-Pap brought a tear to my eye. Truly. The clarity of his face… The sharp definition of facial features I had never noticed before… it was almost like meeting him. So I bought the app, because I’m doing this to every old photo I can find, lol.

Irritating reminder, too many clicks but useful app. First of all, I am writing this review in the hopes it will make the irritating pop up disappear every 4th click of the app while processing an image. And that leads to the too many clicks complaint. I am processing 57 headshots all stored in a single folder in Apple Photos. When i finish one picture, I am back at the start screen and must click on the + button, then the choose from library button, then gallery button, then the albums button, then click on the album containing my 57 headshots. Then scroll down to the next picture in my project. Why can’t it simply leave me in the same album so I can scroll and select the next photo? Overall, this app is useful. My project is a graduating class shot of 57 folks taken in 1961. I cropped the 57 faces into 57 headshots which are very grainy. I am no photoshop ace so this app is doing fast work of converting the shots into pretty good representations of each person. One really bad part of the app is those who wore glasses are getting very strange eyes. The app simply cannot handle the reflections from the flash, the glasses and the eyeball.

Great app for what it does with some really big annoyances.. The novelty has worn off. Yes it does a good job. For about 1 week it offered you 3 choices and it was amazing…but then they removed that feature. It would make a lot of sense if you could upload someone’s face from a clear photo and so the ai could use that to enhance the images more precisely. It would also be cool if it could clean up clothes better without making removing texture and making everything look like a painting. But for certain images, like when I lost original photos and only had copies on Facebook… it does a great job with FB photos. But…. The biggest 2 issues are: 1. Stop asking me to rate the app every single time I use the app. Not just when I open the app.. but ever single photo. IT HAS TO STOP! 2. For the love of Jehovah, add a delete all button to the saved images. I literally spent 2 hours pressing the on each photo>remove>delete. 3 steps to remove 1 photo is just plain terrible. Great app for what it does with some really big annoyances.

Awesome app.. Still my favorite photo editing App. However, tonight the App would not pull my photos. Which I really needed to use today, still failing to pull the pictures from my iPhone 14 to edit So I deleted the app off, and I have a subscription as well, so I said yes I’d like to keep the subscription as well. So going I went back to reload. App was missing! So I went to the i store to reload it there. Nope! So I had it download the app again but doesn’t recognize I have a subscription already.

Decent photo enhancer. There are some problems I have with this software that prevents me from buying it. First, it does a terrible job with eyes. It turns them black and makes the lids look funky and bloated. Second, it defaults to suggested photos. I don’t like that. It should Default to Recent folder. I know which pictures I need enhanced. I don’t need suggestions. It returns to suggested photos when I want the next photo in a specific folder. It takes about 4 clicks to return to where I want to be. It does a great job removing blur and it lightens up dark photos nicely. It does not do a good job with colorizing black and white. Example, I colorized a photo of a man standing in front of a stained glass window. Half the window was one color and the other half a different color making the result unusable. It defaults to white clothing with a pink tint.

Fantastic App. This is a great app and a lot of fun it takes photos that you really love but aren’t clear enough and fixes them for you. I have to say that part of the time some of the photos don’t look good that are fixed by them but I cherish the ones that are. I will always have this app! They need to fix how they do the teeth because often it’s done incorrectly and you can’t keep the photo because of that. The downfall is they constantly harass you to leave a review even after you’ve already left a review. They really need to fix the teeth because many photos you can’t use because his teeth are off.

Mostly great. I have been enhancing a lot of old family photos with this app, and it’s been working wonders on a lot of pictures. It’s amazing to take a blurry, scratched up 150-year-old that I’ve seen for years and finally be able to see faces clearly after using this app. It really brings my ancestors to life. And it’s fun adding color to my parents’ childhood photos. It’s not perfect. I feel the color is often too saturated, and I have to fiddle with the settings. Sometimes an ear or arm or something gets missed and stays gray. And sometimes the color turns out blotchy and weird. It may depend on the original quality of the photo. De-scratching is mostly great, but sometimes it erases faces or hands or pocket handkerchiefs, so then I have to live with the scratches rather than give up a face. Enhance is the best feature. It hasn’t failed to impress me so far. I’ll probably compare to some other apps before I consider purchasing.

Work pretty well. Does a decent job on colorizing B&W photos (some splotches, but not really bad). Definitely gives a great contrast to bring an antique photo up and give it a more modern feel. Did improve some of my 400 ASA photos quite a bit, particularly when the subjects were closer. I was surprised that it significantly improved photos from the news paper. It did a great job on slightly blurry photos and made them crystal clear. The AI did have problems interpreting some costume party photos with some very Erie results.

Wow. This app honestly saves so much time (even if you are a photoshop expert) in making pictures look their best. It colorizes in just a few seconds (and not those colorized jobs that look colorized, it’s color looks very natural and realistic), then you can remove any scratches on your photos and then enhance it all in less than a minute with beautiful results. I liked it so much I just bought the program (I don’t like subscribing to them at all) with no regrets. I’m having so much fun with it, I just get random messed up or black and white photos off the internet just so I can watch it do it’s thing! 100 percent satisfied. Great job guys.

Wow, incredible photograph enhancement tool. Two days in after subscribing, I can’t be more then happy with this app. Frankly its clearly the best (most effective) photo enhancement tool I’ve used this side of Photoshop. It does several things extremely well so it doesn't have the full muscle of the far more expensive alternatives. It’s learning curve is very short ie; was able to use it with-in minutes of downloading and I’m not the brightest bulb in the pack, as they say. BUT don’t take my word for this, they offer a 3 day free trial so there was nothing to lose by simply trying it. Glad I did.

It’s a cool concept. Hey, I’m glad I tried the three day trial. I don’t think I’m going to continue to use this app. It has a long way to go to get past the uncanny valley. I downloaded this app to enhance some of the family photos I have that are just a touch blurry, but the faces that are generated are not quite the same people I known my whole life. There are a few exceptions where the photo is clear enough that the augmented photo is 98% on point which is close enough. However, some of the pictures I uploaded that are clear enough for me to know who the people are before running through the AI augmentation program look nothing like the person I know. The similarities are there, but it’s definitely a whole different face.

Animate feature. At first I was terribly disappointed with this app but after learning my way around it a bit, I can actually give it a decent review. I use it in combination with a couple other editing apps because they all have different features and seem to be lacking in one way or another, but the animating feature on this one is a lot of fun and I can capture stills of faces with various expressions from this feature when I download the video onto my iPad and look at it frame by frame, taking screenshots wherever I like.

Absolutely amazing. I think I’ve rated about five apps in my life including this one. After playing around with it for a few hours, I am blown away by how well it works and the clarity it produces with black and white images. The coloring leaves a bit to be desired, and options to change color in certain areas or objects would be a plus. It also doesn’t handle large images very well (had a few crashes with photos over 30mb exported from photoshop) but I wouldn’t call that a deal breaker. I needed this app 15 years ago when I started piecing together the family tree.

Solid ai glow-up. I really like this app and am using it to boost low res ai pics for a photo book. I wish we could decide final file size though. Maybe they should add that in settings? The files weren’t quite good enough the first pass through, so I put the images through a second time to clean them up further, with no or very little noticeable repercussions. I’d like to see the ability to boost them to certain sizes, and also an ai removal tool so I don’t have to remove stuff and up the pixels in different apps. Good stuff though!

DAAAAYUM. App does a GREAT job. Did side by side against Remini and this is the clear winner when it comes to accuracy and cleaning up the entire photo instead of just he face. Only issues are sometimes the Ai goes over board and pixelates hair strands and messes up eyes if glasses are on or if low light. Since those issue are rare, I didn’t subtract a star. Hopefully by giving a rating it’ll quit constantly asking if I’m enjoying the app. For best results, use a photo editor first in order to get lighting and color right, then clean up here.

I’m happy. A friend showed me this app for doing portrait tattoos and making the source images cleaner., and I think it’s great, there’s slight room for improvement as sometimes it makes the photo look fake or leaves glares etc but over all I recommend it. My wife recently passed and most of the pics I had of her weren’t great quality but after enhancing them on Pixelup I now have beautiful photos of her that are high enough resolution to have crystal clear, sharp life size cardboard cutouts made for her celebration of life. -JD. Do not try this app, unless you want to be charged $4.99/week!. Enhancer works well but the animation was horrible. But the worst thing about this is after just 3 days (!) of free trial period, you are automatically charged $4.99 A Week (😱) via Apple account (if you are an iPhone user)! Canceling your subscription isn’t easy. You can’t do it by just deleting the app. You have to go to your own phone setting, tap your iPhone account, tap “subscription “ to find this App, and cancel, which, I bet, is not something the majority of iPhone users know. By the time I canceled, it was one week after I downloaded the app, which is four days passed the free period, and I was charged $4.99. Yes, it is my fault that I did not check the app throughly prior to downloading it, so the least I can do is to make sure to write a review so other people are warned.

50/50 shot if it will actually enhance photos. I’ve used this on some old photos of my family. Out of my 6 photos I wanted to improve the quality of, 3 of them actually improved while the other 3 worsened. The improved photos had some improvement in the fuzziness of old photos and could overall enhance the image. For the 3 that worsened, the photos would randomly change eye colors, leave random blobs of color that didn’t align with the pattern of a dress, change colors of items of clothing (it mad a very clearly red sweater into dark blue), and left weird blobs around facial features (adding a blob that looked like a booger to my grandmother’s face). This app is fun to play around with during the free trial but it is definitely not worth a full subscription. The photo enhancement is too unpredictable if it’s actually going to do a good job.

Good app!. Very useful for upscaling small images to a larger size while retaining the nice clear quality. Some images, old images especially, are just too small to enjoy viewing these days now that we have computers with such large screens. It’s nice to be able to update the resolution of old images and upscale images that are small. Everyone deserves to be able to view imagery how they were always meant to be viewed. Big! This app fulfills the dream of being able to view all images at such a large scale! And it is amazing! Highly recommend for everyone who’s tired of looking at tiny images. This app is awesome! I love this app so much!

Overall very impressed. If you have a fairly decent photo with the subject looking directly at the camera, you’ll likely be satisfied with result, whether it’s sharpening, colorizing, or animating. If the photo is too blurry or the subject is not facing the camera directly, the result will be more fantasy than reality or even deformed looking if the subject was photographed at an angle. It can take some work and experimenting to get the best result. In one case though, I got a near perfect animation of my grandmother who had long passed and I had no movie film of her. Using the colorize and ‘Charismatic’ animation, she suddenly popped to life if in living color, if only for a few seconds. In terms of sharpening the picture, it pretty much deblurs faces and little else. Set your expectations accordingly and you’ll enjoy using the app.

Not great. I was hoping that this would help clean up my vintage family photos, and save me time ir eliminate using photoshop. In the two photos I tested while in trial period, the descratch mode didn’t really work too well, leaving many scratches behind. The enhance, (which doesn’t seem to be optional… unlike the colorize or the descratch features which are optional), cartoonized some of the faces. The colorize feature seems to work fairly well (which is why I’m giving this 2 stars instead of one). I tried the animate function on one of my selfies, and found it to be entertaining, but nothing I would personally use. I was hoping this app would save me time in photoshop, but for people who have the skills to correct photos in photo editing software, you will be disappointed with the results from this app, and like myself, you’ll choose to fix your photos manually. If that describes you, don’t bother subscribing to the app, it’s limitations will just frustrate you. For the people who don’t have access to (or the know-how of) other photo editing tools, you’ll probably like this app for what it can do automatically… but if you want a job well done, find a professional or someone with photo editing experience. All in all, I don’t think this app is worth the price they want one to pay, so I canceled the subscription and deleted the app.

Excellent all purpose enhancer. I have used a multitude of photo enhancing apps such as EnhanceFox, Photoleap, and PhotoRetouch for FaceBook photoshop groups. This works as a one stop shop by enhancing photographs, colorizing, AI edits, descratching, and sharpening. You can do one or all functions on a photo and save pics before each step is made. You don’t have to wait until processing occurs, since it queues each step in the background. Coloring is decent but not perfect. Enhancing works fairly well on most pics. Descratching works as long as the scratches do not traverse the eyes, nose or lips. It works fairly quickly though I wish processing were still faster. However it does a respectable job in an all-in-one setup. I did a lifetime subscription so I’m happy with it. Animation is entertaining but not a function that is necessary for me. I’d like to see more speed and refinements in updates.

Warning! Your pictures aren’t private!!. I reached out through their support option within the app because I wanted to clear the pictures that remained in the “suggested” area (personal preference, I don’t like that I can’t clear that section). I had deleted everything in my history but the pictures remained under the suggested section. I never received a reply from anyone, but I noticed that my suggested pictures had been deleted. I never received any sort of response whatsoever, they were just gone. It creeped me out that they had full access to my pictures like that so I completely stopped using the app. The effects are either hit or miss depending on the quality of the picture, but in no way did I ever consent to the developers to have full on access to my private pictures on the way that they do. Be warned, your pictures being used are not private at all!

Didn’t help with my photo. This app was downloaded to attempt in lifting a license plate number. It failed miserably but that’s not why I’m giving it a low rating. You can’t use the app without giving your credit card info for a “3day free trial” which turns into an astronomical membership. Maybe if the software edited my photo usefully. The app also shows heinous sexualised ads and prompts you to rate it every 2 sec— I’m not exaggerating about that part. It also pesters you to turn on notifications and grant access to your camera roll INCESSANTLY. There’s no sharpness tweak, no invert. You can also filter your photos by “unblur” but the feature doesn’t even exist for you to utilize so.. have fun with the ai avatar nobody asked for I guess?

It’s just ok for fun, not serious edits. This app at first glance seems like it enhances your photos however if you zoom in you will see it makes some look very creepy or unrealistic. On one of my photos I had photos of 80s hair bands on my wall which got a make over and now look like women…completely new faces..my face tho looks sorta ok but when you zoom in you can tell it’s not me. Wouldn’t use this for more than fun. Not for professional edits. I did the free trial to see if it was worth it. Ultimately no, it wasn’t and I canceled instead of upgrading. Also like other users said, the descratch didn’t remove all scratches and actually distorted and blurred parts of the photo. Needs some work but has potential to be great. For now not so much

Trying really hard to like this App. I had high hopes for this app! I downloaded the free trial just to try it out before I potentially bought the full version. Let me say they make the free version so painful that I have absolutely no desire to go onto the full version. There’s an ad before you can do anything. I understand that I’m using free software and that I have to look at an ad to use it. But the ad is the same boring ad over and over and over. And then once you fight through the same annoying ads over and over and over again, there’s a huge watermark on the photo at the end. I have no idea if this app is going to be worth it on the backend I can’t get through the free trial, I’m deleting it.

Best at the simplest task. I create videos for loved ones goto 200 pictures long sometimes and not all pictures sent to me are clear. So after going through tons of different apps trying find the best one to clean up pictures, and FAST at that, was a hard find. Most clean up apps make pics look animated or not look like person but this app cleans up the people in photo and rest of the photo at same time. Even background and objects get cleaned up and I love it. Couldn’t find another app work as efficiently as this one. God sent for what I do anyways. Only suggestion I could make is giving the option of uploading several photos at a time, would of cut some time down for me but I’m not complaining, adding that feature would only better this app, still without it; does not take away from, or fact that it is the best at simple task it claims to do. Five stars all day from me.!!

Brilliant app! Love it! But….. I just loved this app, seeing my dad (who passed away when I was 16) come alive from photos (young and older) really brought tears to my eyes… same with other relatives from long ago, like my grandma, whom I never met since she passed when my dad was just a kid, it’s totally amazing! But… the animations need a bit of improvement, occasionally they look kinda robotic and fake… all other enhancements are perfect… just the animations need improvement, more choices and better integration, it’s still pretty amazing to see the short gif making that person come alive for a few seconds, but the loop cutoff leaves more to be desired… and sometimes only the face moves inside the hair, if that makes any sense… Anyway… highly recommended! Just needs a bit more work!

For Free Users A Waste. This app has a lot of potential. I’d been greatly considering upgrading, but I’ve been too annoyed and frustrated even though upgrading would solve the issue, one would think. In trying as a free version first, most of the time, I can’t exit the ads to see the finished piece, without hard closing the app altogether which gets rid of everything. I wanted to try it again this morning, but it was same thing. Ads I can’t close, hard shut of the app, I lose one of my limited creations for the day; except it happened to every-single-try. I ended up with nothing before it said I reached my limit. Users only wanting to use it for free, don’t bother at this point, unless something gets fixed.

I Love It!. I am having a blast improving old photos, sometimes to a shocking degree of clarity and improvement. I am going through boxes of old snapshots, running them through Pixelup, and then sharing them with distant family members. All are pleased with what they are seeing. So, with all this love, why only 4/5 stars? Well, there are some simple features that I would like to see added. A crop tool before enhancement would be nice. Also, the file management of photos run through the program seems awkward. But these aren’t deal breakers. If you have a trove of old pics that you would like to not only convert to digital but enhance, Pixelup is your jam.

Impressive for the price.. For the price you pay, the features & results this app provides stack up very well against competitors like Remini, Citrus & the like. It's done amazing work on some photos I never expected to be able to upscale or clean up. And while the results the app produces aren't always perfect, the app development team are clearly aware that opportunities will keep popping up to tweak the AI in use here. So the fact that they give you a clear in-app feedback channel to bring issues you find with particular image enhancement results to their attention - and through the next couple of app updates, seem to act on them - is a huge tick for me.

Needs refining but a nice app. A great app to clear up some photos and put colour into the black & whites...except for someone like me who is trying to enhance photos of my baby daughter who passed away...I’ve had hers & others eyes come out wrong, let alone mine or others teeth not to mention I had ended up with extra dark freckles to…It would be fab if enhance would be able to remove any redness and let us have an option to be able to remove blemishes or edit ourselves if we needed to afterward.

Not worth it. Tried this and even considered buying the lifetime subscription if it was decent (knowing that software can always be deleted and it’s never a “lifetime”)… but this app is even worse than I thought it could be. It’s basically a cheap preset bunch of filters that poorly apply to your photos. Nothing you can’t do on your phone’s settings themselves. Nothing you couldn’t do on a free program. Do not recommend.

Good quality enhancements!. You pay extra for avatars …and they are pretty bad🤣- but the app gives good quality enhancements on old photos.

Very quick app to use. great results mainly others take some tweaking Fast and easy to use

Being back old photos. Highly recommend this app. Very simple to use and downloads are quick!

I don’t think it’s worth paying out the money if you’re not gonna get a good job from it🤔. I’m not really happy with it because the pictures don’t come out like it should or the lips are so red what doesn’t look like the person, some things are okay, hopefully you will fix the app properly hey

Two or three stars….. Worked really well on some of my already pretty good photos but on blurry photos that actually really needed it…… looks horribly cartoonish and gives face is a totally different look. in one photo my brother was squinting a little bit and it was a blurry photo so I put it into Pixelup, and it completely cut out his eyes.

OFCreatorLol. The only app worth paying for honestly i use it on all my blurry pics.

Love This!. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found this app. I have only so many photos of passed loved ones & was desperate to have better quality of some of the older ones I had. The few blurry & or scratchy ones I tried this on gave me amazing results. It was like new pics, so clear. Thank you for that gift.

Great App to colour and restore your old photos. I’ve only just started using Pixelup and I’m blown away by how good it is, watching the app restore, colour and enhance my old family photos, bringing them to life in a new and exciting way.

It's great!. I love this app, it fixes the results perfectly! I'm amazed how clear my images are now! Great, 5/5 Would recommend.

Jas Shennan. A very useful app for cleaning up some old and more recent low res pictures. Can’t wait for a similar app for video on iPhone!

Love this app. It’s makes it so easy to make your photos look better in so many ways

Almost there. This is what we photo-historians are waiting for, that is, a way to see our old images more clearly so we can discern so much more about the people in them. But if you’re expecting perfection, it’s not quite there. Yet. Out of five images I took for a test run (all taken in the 1910’s) I was pretty happy with 3. The other two took too many liberties with faces I know well. It’s going to be awhile before AI will be able to outfox the human eye, but it’s not going to be long and in the meantime, I’m happy to use this app to amp up some of my old family pics. I’m keen to look at how it handles bitty pics from later decades so I may update this once I’ve given it a try.

Super fun & great results. Love this app, sadly it is expensive and still needs development to get a better result, especially with the animation. But definitely worth a look

Changes photos into brighter and clearer. Cost $49 one off payment or a cost per week after the usual trial. Some photos can be improved greatly others no changes at all or look worse. The animation is very subtle and creates and brings alive old photos - very good part of the app. The front screen when you open is not so intuitive. Overall Im pleased as it’s helping to bring alive / refresh old family photos and we work through our family tree and photos long forgotten in drawers.

stop asking for review otherwise pretty good. literally only 10 mins in after purchasing and it has asked me for review every 2-3 minutes so already 5 times. I don’t know yet and so far it’s ok except the annoying pop up asking for review. Stop it.

A bit long winded, not as good as I expected. If you want to descratch, enhance and colour one picture it is 3 separate steps. Way too many clicks. A bit disappointed but I paid for the full subscription so stuck with it. Hopefully some updates to the menus one day…

Clear crisp photos. This app does a really good job of pixel eating and colouring old photographs. I’m getting so much joy out of reviving old photos and seeing and sisters move. It’s it’s really amazing experience.

Pixelup. Just an awesome app. Well done to ever invented it. Has brought back and enhanced all of my old photos. Thank you

Wrong faces. Only sharpens the faces in photos and the faces become sharpened in a way that they turn into a completely different person to the who the photo was taken of. The AI seems to love making big teeth and doesn’t recognise shine on lips - turning it into one big tooth. Witha. Bit of improvement it could be really cool though Works well with blurry sports photos where the subjects face is ina distance

Impressive app. Pixelup has allowed me to restore some treasured photographs which were scans of originals, dramatically increasing quality and definition of the images involved. Very impressed with the results!

Does not generate the photo immediately. This is terrible. While using the app and taking photos of pictures you click the shutter or ask for editing and it comes up with a screen that basically tells you to wait, and that it will notify you when the image is ready. It has been hours- still nothing. Deleted straight away.

Video problem. I want to fix it video , how to open videos create doing only photos ?

Super fun App. Overall this is a great app that brings those old blurry photos back to life; but it also comes with other features for you to play and discover.

Pleasantly surprised. There’s so many apps that claim to do things which, end up a waste of time /money. This app is refreshingly not one of them! The enhance option delivers Great quality. Animating is hilarious (waste of time but in a good way haha ) So far so good!! Glad I gave this one a go

Fantastic. Does a great job of making smaller photos become clear and detailed

Brilliant.. So super easy, turns old photos into high res and great quality. Thanks for a great app and user friendly, there’s nothing worse when you have the pressure to create and hindered by low res images, and complicated apps that blocks the flow.

Better value for money. I love the photo unblurry feature. Let’s be frank: it happens a lot when you come back home from a trip and found some photos are blurred. Hence the unblurry feature is quite useful. True, there are other photo unblurry apps, I used to use another similar app called Remini, however, that app offers only subscription based service, which means, you pay as you go - how many times I forgot I have been subscribed and yet I am still paying the app while I am not even realise it? This app offers lifetime purchase option, which means one purchase only, and you can leave it worry free. Now let’s talk about the actual unblurry feature: This app seems using the same AI as Remini to unblurry the photo, however, that app brightens the photo a bit too much, sometimes it could be a good thing but sometimes it makes the photo a bit artificial, hence I prefer the way this app handles the photo. I’ve purchased the lifetime service for this app after comparison, and I hope I made the right choice. :)

Brings loved ones back to life. The animation option brings loved ones back to life

Amazing app. Really beautiful app I finally can see my brother moving because he passed away and I couldn’t see him 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Loving It. Have used several times now both to enhance faces of people extracted from very old photographs, as well as to colorise and animate (occasionally). Good quality results.

4 stars out of 5. I absolutely love this app it’s perfect for me because I’m horrible at taking photos and they always come out blurry so when I can just go into the app and it un blurrs it for me is amazing but one thing if you don’t want to pay $10 a month for unlimited un blurs a day your only aloud to have 10 daily witch is a very little amount. But apart from that I absolutely love this app I do recommend

Impressive but far from perfect. Many enhancements and scratch removal I tried worked well, others failed leaving scratch and removing background items, very hit and miss. Unfortunately on one baby’s hand turned into a bunch of bananas! On another, colorised guessed same bland colour clothes for all in the group; pity there is no colour picker. “AI” still has some learning to do. I ended subscription before trial ended.

Amazing. Highly recommend ! Creates amazing edits of your old favourite pictures and very easy to use!!

Old photo restorations. I have access to lots of old photos taken of my home town after the 1916 flood devastated it (over 60 people loss their lives). The majority of them taken on a large format camera in black and white. This app does a great job of removing blemishes, scratches and making them come back to life with colorising in a short amount of time.

Family history. I’m loving this app. I am doing a family history book and am using photos from 1910. The difference is amazing with the enhancing and removing scratches. I have also tried making them smile etc. that is also amazing! Still loving it! What a difference to the quality! Yes Yes Still enjoying

Incredible. I do content creation for a living, and this app upgrades all the pictures I take. Especially noticeable improvement in the facial area!

Nice app. Pixelup is a fantastic app that I would give five stars! It's an excellent way to create and share pixel art with friends. The app is simple to use, and the interface is user-friendly. The app also has a lot of features, such as a color picker, a zoom tool, and a variety of brushes. I love how easy it is to share my art with my friends on social media. The app is also very stable and has never crashed on me. Overall, I highly recommend Pixelup to anyone who loves pixel art!

Best upsizing app I’ve found. No other app or plug-in comes close to the quality of the detail this app creates, I suspect it has a 3d actual understanding of the image rather than just being a filter.

Love it. My 3 year old like to take photos but can’t seem to hold the camera still at the same time, this makes the photos clear so I still get to keep those precious memories!

Need to provide details to try. Yet another app that looks really interesting but requires my details with an attached auto-payment to even try. Apps should be forced to stipulate this instead of milking the ‘free’ card. It’s free for a week but you have to set up payment details before you can try. If you forget to cancel the payment you will be charged. I don’t believe it’s unreasonable that we have at least a single photo we can try this on before having give our account payment details.

Unbelievable incredible. Very impressed with the results natural skin from blue and natural colour from black-and-white and I’m gonna buy the pro version

Pls change this. It’s good but why only 3 photos per day but the reason why I am here is because I only used 1 photo and it said get premium to do it as many times as I want but I only did 1 photo and it forced me to pay even though it said 3 per day and I only did 1 but the good thing is that actually works and makes the photos look more clear

Pixelup. Very disappointed in some features colouring is very poor all wrong colours makes the photo very unrealistic Enhance feature is ok mostly but nothing like the demo Descratch is nothing like the demo and in most cases warps the photo into something you can’t recognise The animate feature is ok but if the subject has a hat on a big lot of hair the face moves but the hat stays still Overall the program is nothing like the promotional video I won’t be renewing it

Don’t expect anything good. Before you download this app thinking it will sharpen all those blurry faces in your photos, you need to know that the faces the AI puts into the image, are not yours, or anyone’s that is in the photo. It’s just an AI version of a face so it won’t look like you or the people in the photo. In fact you will look more like a Lego man than a real person. If you want to try it, do the pricing option with the free trial. Don’t pay the lifetime fee because you’re probably not going to use it again.

Great app in my opinion!. enjoyed the 3 day trial, just was curious to see if I had photos on my phone that I could bring back life and this app really dose the job. Easy to use and would recommend.

I Want a Refund…Wasted Money. Before I continue, I really enjoy this app. It’s been incredibly helpful with photo enhancements. However today I purchased two packs of AI art. Some of my results were incomprehensible and distorted..if not the most. I followed the AI art instructions to a T and I’ve used many AI applications before with success. None of the pictures looked anything like me. The few that didn’t looked glitched out. Despite all this I really enjoy this app even when using the free version. I appreciate the swift/short ads and the enchantments work so well! I highly doubt this will get to anyone but if y’all see this please give me a refund for my ‘AI’ art 😭😭😭

AMGamble. Very much liking this app has improved my old photos so I can save my grandmothers old family photos keep them future generations

Good app. Highly recommended

Wonderful Job!. I had some old photos and this app turned those memories fresh! Thank you

Good. Ha D hoped for more but it’s good

Bring life to old photos. I’m loving this app - I’ve been using it to enhance old family photos and it’s so much fun !

Does a decent job. Pretty cool for a lot of photos

Insult. I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the AI avatars provided by PixelUp The images were not only completely unacceptable but also deeply offensive. The avatars displayed characteristics that could be construed as racist and inhumane, showcasing a blatant disregard for basic ethical standards in digital imagery. Despite reaching out to the company for a resolution, my request for a refund was flatly refused. This response further demonstrates a lack of accountability and customer care. It's alarming that such content could pass any form of quality control. I strongly advise others to avoid this service to prevent similar experiences. Companies that exhibit such negligence and disrespect for fundamental ethical principles do not deserve patronage.

Price is ridiculous. The app looked interesting but after seeing the pricing model , I uninstalled it without trying it. Seriously people, for a play app, you think it’s worth the amount you’re asking? We’re already subscriptions to death, put a rational price tag on it, and you’ll make some money without resorting to an inflated sense of worth that you seem to have.

Amazing. Worth every penny

So cool. This is pretty cool app to enhance old photos!

Can’t load photos, lots of BUGS, needs improvement. This app sounded promising so I tried the one year subscription with a 3 day trial period. Would’ve been nice if I was able to actually try it. 1. When it starts you could either scan or access your photo library (I allowed access to ALL) and it just doesn’t do anything afterwards. Wont load my photos or can’t access it for some reason. 2. If you choose to scan a photo I don’t get why you have to play with this wonky crop tool that only lets you drag one way… hitting “expand” selects the edges of your photo - so why not START with this to begin with???? 3. If you leave the app mid project for whatever reason it forgets where you are and when you come back to it you have to start all over again 4. Saving an animated photo will CROP your photo closer to the face. What if you want more than just a moving face? And why does it ask you to crop the photo in the beginning if its just gonna override that crop anyway?? 5. While trying to save a photo I scanned and animated, it went into this seizure mode where my screen blinked on and off until the app just went all dark. I restarted and all the faces I scanned before just magically disappeared, so I’m back to square one 6. You’d think the face animations would LOOP seamlessly, right? C’mon guys anyone in the business would think that’s the first thing it would do.

Garbage. Don’t waste money on this app. Didn’t even have that old of a photo, just a bit blurry. Change the faces completely (wasn’t even recognizable) gave them massive black eyes like they ate something funky.

Features are great. I work with peoples pictures and sometimes quality is an issue this app works amazing

Waste of money. I paid 18$ for two batches of ai enhanced photos and they’re all blurry garbage. Don’t waste your time or money on this pos

It Works!. Cleans up and focuses the grainy pics in my albums. Well done App.

Free version SUCKS!. The paid version works well enough but the free version is beyond atrocious. Besides having to endure interminable ads for junk apps like Solitaire Cash and garish watermarks, the ‘standard’ speed for photo processing is so slow (been waiting >> 10 mins now with no end in sight) as to essentially be fraudulent and useless. Thumbs down over for such an awful and disrespectful UX. 👎🏾

App review. This app is wonderful - love it!!!!

Pixel up. Very fast!

Great app. Works good

Horrible with refining. It distorts images and faces to look nothing like the person in the photo. Worse than Remini in fact which is also horrible.

Worst ever. Do not buy. I bought the year of this app to fix some scratched photos of my dad who recently passed away & instead of removing the scratches it literally removed his teeth. I’ve tried on multiple other photos and the subjects come out looking anything from demonized to deformed. I emailed to request a refund and never heard back. Worse $50 I have ever spent.

Nothing miraculous. The AI is focusing on the face with mild result and the rest of the picture doesn’t match the effort put on the face. Disappointed i am.

Fun. Works good .

Bad. Bad

Magnifique. Super

Not to bad at heads/faces but geometry needs work. Sometimes eye placement is adjusted strangely.

Not happy. I purchased this app and they didn’t provide services!

GARBAGE. This app is garbage. I literally can’t even try to use it because I have to watch an ad to try a feature, but the (x) button you have to click when the ad is over is literally put up in the right corner as far as possible and it’s physically impossible to click it. I tried over and over. So there is no way I can get past the ad when it’s finished to even TRY this dumb app out!!! I tried restarting the app to see if that would fix it but no, same problem. I restarted again and still same issue, but then it said I only had 3 free tries, if I want more I have to pay… I DIDN’T EVEN GET TO TRY IT ONCE! I couldn’t click off the stupid ads! I know you scum bag app developers put the (x) in an impossible to click spot on purpose to try and get people to pay for your app. But it’s not going to make people want to buy it, we’re going to get frustrated and give you nothing but bad reviews!

Subpar. Doesn’t make a photo into higher resolution. It basically smoothes over the picture. I needed the photo to be higher quality in order to print it and this app doesn’t do that. Steep price considering it can’t do the one thing it advertises.

This is terrible. I tried out the animate feature and it made the faces look like toothless ogres. I would never recommend anyone use this

not free. listed as free but not free. stupid

Makes people look like freaks. Just gives people massive googly eyes

Such a transformation. Love the transformation when the old out of focus photos are enhanced. The detail is incredible

Good photo editor but scam for IA avatar. I registered for the 3 days tryouts to test the app. Photo editor is pretty good not supper. Wanted to try the IA avatar feature, paid $5.99+tax to get the 10 generated photos. Uploaded my 10 pics, the system says will take 15 minutes and notify me when done. Never see any avatar and when check in again. It asked me to pay again. 🙁

Really good. Very realistic

Deception. Never really paid for an Application and this one was very expensive without providing a good quality picture! Some are missing faces or people turning blue… NOT recommended that for sure!

Pixel up. Bien rapide pour améliorer mais pas beaucoup de choix pour animer

Great app so far. The app seems to be working well and is able to do what it totes. Still working with it to learn more and hopefully edit more pictures.

Save old photos. This app has given me the chance to save some very old photos. Thx.

Made my ancestors look Asian.. The Algo must have been trained in China. This really bad. You will pay to train their Algo with your photos. Very bad. Or maybe it just takes pictures off the internet to compare and add similar features. It made a picture of my young father look like George Michael, the singer.

Divertido. Detallado en contornos

Beautiful App. This has multiple applications to make beautiful pictures

Good app!. It deliveres!

One of the easiest up-rez app I’ve used. This app has been fantastic for cleaning up my old images and memes, especially the memes.

Weird stuff happens in colorize mode. Strange things happen to peoples faces when colourized, two sets of upper teeth, faces somehow altered so they dont resemble the actual person, colours somewhat accurate but very strange skin tones

Pricing is out of this world. It is a photo game app ,end of story!

Awful. Tried to enhance a photo - the result was terrible. No difference. Don’t waste your time

Used to clean up old, grainy, B&W photos. Impressive app and cleans up photos well. Some pictures still a bit blurry or missed some colour, but overall great app & sure will only improve. Weekly subscription cost is a bit high but I guess if you’re doing albums it’s worth it.

Misleading. Where is shows in app purchases, we are offered a lifetime purchase at $49. In the renewal message, only subscriptions are offered. I tried it and liked it but will never pay by subscription.

Enhancement Feature. I had taken an event photo shoot and the worst scenario happened, a lot of my photos had come out blurry, I have tried the other apps that have the “enhance” feature and I liked Pixelup the best. I felt it was the most realistic when it came to the AI and saved me a lot of time and stress so thank you Pixelup for a great app

Its one of the Best!. Luv this App. I took pics from my family tree and showed them to my elderly Aunt and Uncle, took their wedding picture too and they were amazed as the pictures came alive! Ny Uncle cried when his Dad who had passed years ago turned to look at him olin the PIC! He kept asking me how did you do that! Highly recommend this Pixelup App and so easy to use!

Incredible.. I downloaded this app in hopes that I could clear up and colorize some old photos of my moms mom (whom I never got to meet) for a Christmas project and wow…. This is incredibly accurate and makes my heart so happy to see her clearly. Thank you, Pixelup for giving my mom these beautiful pictures and memories back and making it possible to see a picture of my grandma clearly for the first time ❤️

Rescued Slides. For Christmas I received a Wolverine to digitize old family slides. While that tool was easy to use, the resulting photos were very low resolution. PixelUp has done a pretty good job of increasing the pixelization of my converted slides. One unfortunate result was when the subject’s teeth had a partial shadow, the shadow became darker and didn’t look very good. But I am still very pleased overall and feel this was money well spent for my purposes.

Pixelup - AI Photo Enhancer. I've been using this app for 3 days now and I must say, I'm impressed! The sharpness & detail brought back into some of my photos that lack both is making me appreciate them all over. While I am not a pro photog, people do like my pix and that has made me tackle many of my old photographs and breath new life into them, particularly with the enhance function. The colonizer and animation pieces are so so and mostly (animation) merely comical but I am enjoying this app!

Criminals. I’m leaving this as a 5 star review so it’ll be seen. I have never written a review before but these guys are just criminals, when you start a free trial they charge you $15 off the bat without telling you. They say $5 every month after the free trial ends, but don’t tell you they are going to charge you $15 to start the free trial, real freaking free guys nice. I hope you burn.

Sharper pictures in a button. I have been using this program and I must admit works very nicely sharpening details, specially with faces, however from time to time system locked up, had to wait a while until it worked again. I recommended to friends and family.

Some EXCELLENT results, some TERRIBLE. Maybe it’s my newness with the app. But I’m literally 50/50 when performing scratch reduction and colorization on photos. Enhancement is pretty good, the movement feature is just a little creepy - yet cool. I may not know where the “controls” are …but it would be nice to have some manual control over areas to apply more correction and areas to apply less correction with the scratch remover. Same goes especially for colorization - a couple photos looked OK, a couple more were LSD dreams. I’ll come back and update after using this for a few days.

Omg, what a waste of time!. I understand that they have to make money off a trial version, but the amount of ads you have to weed thru just to get 1 result is ridiculous. And then when you “animate” a face & head of a person (because that’s all that animates), it only has two corny facial animations that look stupid, especially if you are doing the animation to a serious photo, like your parent, grandparents, wedding photo, or any photo you thought you could enhance. Seriously, the end product is degrading to the person, unless your goal is to make the person look stupid?

Restore Pictures. I love taking old family pictures and adding color to them, this app is great for that. That being said, it is not 100% of its potential, as some of the pictures part of peoples faces continue to stay in black-and-white. For example, I took a picture from my dad‘s childhood to add color to it, and for the most part it did, but his ears were entirely black and white and if you try to add color again to a saved picture that you just edited, it doesn’t add color to the part it didn’t before.

Incredible minor bug but works great. This app is incredible. It sharpens the old images for the most part and gets the black and white photos to a pretty good color. The only thing and hopefully the development team sees this review, it occasionally does this weird strobe thing when I open the app sometimes. Other wise great app and does exactly what it promises to.

One of the Greatest apps. My old photos look like they were taken on a new phone. However, 1 or 2 pictures were too blurry to fix. Would be lovely if the app used face recognition with photos you already have of that person. Pretty sure that’s a futuristic thing. overall, I Absolutely love this app

Promising!. This might become the great enhancing app but it has a way to go. With old, dark, blurry or B&W photos, it often comes up with a better enhanced image. But occasionally it smooths and cartoonizes faces too much. What I believe would help it is a 0-100 dial where the effect is megged with the original. This could pull back some of the heavy smoothing and colorizing. Sometimes it distorts things like fingers or parts of faces and it’s guessing of colors in B&W photos is poor. But, I just spent an hour with it and it was a gas!!

Doesn’t really de-blur, it just does the faces. I’m early using this app so this rating may improve but the app keeps bugging for a review so my first impressions are a mix of awesome and disappointment. It enhances color photos and images with minor edits required to make them spectacular photos, but doesn’t really deblur old black and whites the way the advertisement shows. It only deblurs faces and leaves the rest which makes the people in the photo look possessed. It’s weird. I plan to keep using it to see if there is more to this that I need to figure out.

Avatar won’t render enhanced portraits, chooses original ones instead. I’ve recently tried rendering a celebrity portrait through avatar. Unfortunately, because the originals are too blurry, PixelUp only chooses the original blurry ones to avatarize them and they turned out all wrinkled and like motion-blurred oil paintings despite the uploading the sharp-detailed & enhanced portraits. It didn’t even worked out despite duplicating the portraits into a different format in my computer. The developer could probably fix this issue into a newer updated version.

Shows promise. App is full of glitches. Quits randomly. Inability to animate more than one face in a picture. Lack of any ability to undo after certain steps. I could go on but I'm still trying to get it to work. The blasted app would NOT stop nagging me to rate it and that really pisses me off even though I am usually a very chill person. I am hoping that it will stop nagging me once I post this review.

Quality. I have only been mildly satisfied with some of my pictures, many, some older and some newer photos I can’t see a difference, some just a slight difference. The ‘colorize’ option has been the biggest disappointment, it’s in no way like the advertised samples. The ‘animate’ will not work on close up headshots, it just greatly distorts the face. In some of the animated pictures just a small portion of the face moves, while the top of the head doesn’t move in sync with the rest. Would I purchase this again? No I would not. They need to do better.

Best purchase I have made in a long time. This app is perfect for restoring old, grainy photographs taken a while back, or photos taken and later digitized. As far as photo editing apps and tools go, this is by far the best one I have encountered and the lifetime subscription is well worth the price. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique photo-enhancing app that can restore old, or blurry/out-of-focus pictures.

Really great if you pay... Wanted to use the free version, was happy to watch ads. But after the ad’s done, there’s no way to exit out of the ad to get back into the app. Tapped the miniature X a million times but it doesn’t work. If you want to use this at all, you have to pay which was disappointing. Only upside is it did turn my older pixilated photos into nice photos again.

Don’t pay in app. Okay so 1st I hate apps that PUSH you to pay for the features and this is one. You CAN do minimal stuff without paying HOWEVER I’ve used this for many different photos and faces. I can’t explain what this app does while clearing the photo. I have pictures where my eye details are gone, lips look deformed and even some smudges. It’s very noticeable and kinda disturbing. You can do 3 edits a day watching adds so I suggest not waisting money. The app “Remini” is the same concept but actually clears my image without altering details.

Great app. I really enjoy PixelUp because it does a great job improving the look of marginal photos! I do not appreciate that after virtually every photo, it hounds you with a big image that tries to get you to go to the App Store and leave a review. There is no apparent way to turn that off short of actually leaving a review, which is why I am leaving this review. Hopefully, the app will stop with the annoying review appeals.

Only rating so this pop-up goes away. I have like five photos to enhance. The free version would not even be able to do that due to the amount and length of Clickbait ads. I went for the three day free trial and plan on quitting after using the app but even with the three day free trial, the extra clicks and social media pop ups and the fact that you can’t mess with more than one image at a time are deal breakers. The fact that every time a photo is edited, they ask you to review the app is an example of making it harder on the user. Peace!

Update. I'm still loving the app however the latest update doesn't allow for immediate sharing without first saving the results. For my purposes I'd prefer not to save but just to share. Thank you if you can restore it to having a share option immediately after the results come in.

So cool. This app works perfectly on my IPhone 12 and is pretty cool to use to clean up pictures and to animate them. When you miss a loved one you can use this app so you can see them moving in front of you, right before your eyes once again. I love using it. Or how about your old childhood pictures of yourself? Love it for that also!

Fix a Face. The enhanced photo features are at best marginal and some are less than desirable. However, for the average users as myself I can manage. Lifetime subscription is acceptable rather than buying something your not familiar with and never making good use because some applications may require additional experience. For every day use for a beginner like myself it’s enough for me.

Game Changer !!!!!. This APP is so cool ! I am a tattoo artist and this is like a dream come true. For someone that specializes in portraits there’s nothing more frustrating than when someone brings in a portrait reference that is old and pixelated and hard to see. This app makes it possible to tattoo those pieces with ease , cant thank you enough for making this app!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Pixelup. I tried the PixelUp app to evaluate the capabilities of the app. In the marketing you see a photo that has four faces showing movement, and that’s not possible with the app. The app is limited to only a close up on one face, which made it a novelity function, and not a full fledged app. It’s cute, but not full featured enough to charge for the app. I would suggest changing the trial structure to 10-20 try’s of the app with a watermark, prior to having to purchase the app. Keep going! If the app could be more full featured, I’d look to see the progress.

Amazing!. This is the greatest app I have found for fixing old photos and photos that are not in great shape. I tried the free version for a couple days then decided I just needed to buy it so I could improve a bunch of old pictures my family has. Definitely recommend this app even if it’s just to touch up pictures you are taking today it is worth it.

The detail is surprisingly good, but. Is there a way to only pixel up one of the people in your photos, for example if there are people in the background of my photo that are supposed to be blurred I want to keep them that way and I’ve been trying to find a feature that will allow me to select but it doesn’t

Horrible UI/UX. The app works fine, but when you’re done editing your photos, they put a clickable button in the top right that reads as “Done”…. On the left-hand side, there’s an icon. The problem is that almost every other app in the top right is where you save things…. And they were done can indicate that you were done editing and ready to save. I have spent five minutes editing photos, and then click done intuitively and lost everything. For this reason, nobody should get the product. And if this product really cared, they would be looking on hot jar or some other tool to measure what people do and realize that everyone’s making this mistake.

Audio cut off on Bluetooth headphones. It’d be nice if the app didn’t cut my music on my earbuds when I use the app. Not every picture is animated. So when you use the app listening to music DON’T kill the jams! Biggest flaw I’ve noticed. Easy fix right? We shall see. Just like not being able to control music volume if u leave the camera app open on any iPhone and lock. Very similar flaw. I’d like my music to keep playing when just cleaning photos up.

Enhance DOES work!. I was pretty skeptical when I saw the ads for restoring old or blurry photos. But thought what the heck, let’s try. I used a lower quality photo from an old Mexican show called Azul Tequila. It was definitely grainy and blurry. And this app actually works! You could clearly see the lace on her dress and her face was no longer blurry!

Bill C. I do gallery photography and spend time as a Maring Corps combat Photographer in Vietnam. I just found it moments ago and have colorized two images from old family albumS. I used to colorize with some older programs spending hours fussing over colors and and blended shades…one of the images was my Mom doing a High Land Fling at age 9 in a plaid kilt… It blew my mind how it managed the colors, shades, subtleties and every other aspect. I will rate it a huge “wow” well done.

Need some serious improvement!. I wish there will be more options on the animation features. I also noticed very limited tools to crop, adjust color, brightness , hue and sharpness of the photo. Hopefully the developers will keep working on the improvements. Been using this app and the edited versions of the faces looked horrible! The eyes and faces are distorted as if they were caricatures! I mean you guys can do better than that! I subscribed and I am close to having this cancelled if they won’t improve.

Awesome Face Enhancement. The enhancement of faces is awesome- blurry unfocused and old grainy photos suddenly look HD! But gave only 4 stars because the non-face parts of the photo still remain as they were. Also, there are more steps than necessary if you want to save both the original photo and the enhanced photo. Scratch removal is hit and miss - for some photos it blurs out entire parts of the photo that contained scratches, thus ruining the picture.

Horrific imagery. I just put a photo from the 80s of my friend’s family into this app to make it look more new as a gift to them and it did something horrific to their faces. One has been turned into an evil elf. The next appears to have his jaw broken and hanging to the side of his face. Lastly his sister, who had her face turned showing only her jaw, cheek and ear has been given a new face in the area of face she had showing. It added a nose and mouth but no eyes. HORRIFYING! The only value I can find from this app is creating funny or grotesque imagery to make your friends and family laugh or feel fear. This has done nothing but mutate every picture I have uploaded into something freakish.

Better than the other one. I just started using this app to clear up the fuzzy pictures I take, I like it but why doesn’t the vertical before and after line with the round circle with the arrows in it go all the way over to the left. It’s not good and it doesn’t fix what’s to the left of the line because it doesn’t go all the way over. It’s very frustrating!!

videos. I am sleeping the app it’s not that bad, but you should be able to and chance videos. Um, I feel like that would make the app more better and popular too. If you let us use videos cause I trying to make a video have better quality and I’ve been downloading all these apps that is not helping at all and this one is made my photo quality good but I was really hoping for videos I was and I know I should’ve read it but still I think this I could’ve been really good. You should have videos overall, the app is not that bad just needs to be able to do videos to.

This!!! 💯. I must say I’m quite impressed with the overall functionality of this App. I’ve cleaned up a number of old Pics and a very detailed result 👌🏼. This most certainly gets a 5 star ⭐️ One thing that would be helpful is if we can do a OneTime Payment option. That would be very beneficial on our end Lol. Other than that, Great App 🔥 and looking forward to future updates 💪🏼

Hands down the best resolution system.. Holy cow, let’s start with the UI, good work homies. The UI is simple clean and to the point. I wish simple enhance was a more prominent feature (but I’m in this for the subtle details so that’s me) The images come out clean and honestly for what they offer I don’t think the subscription is unreasonable at all. Great work pixelup you made a good app in a sea of garbage.

Really impressed!. When I couldn’t print some photos due to the resolution, I downloaded Pixeluped to enhance my pictures. I really didn’t have high hopes that it would work, but every single photo is now printable! Photos all look great- super crisp. I also used the color option on one of the photos just to see and it really made the pic look so much better. Def recommend! Worth it.

Game Changer. I have saved so many photos that would have been deleted because they were blurry. But this app made them look amazing and natural. The photos do not look edited at all with the Enhance feature. I would love if you could add multiple photos to be enhanced at the same time. It is time consuming when you have several photos to enhance, but it’s an amazing app and I use it daily!

So so. Paid for full lifetime version. The animation option is really, really bad. Like comically bad. There needs to be an option of just like eye blinking and head movement vs all the craziness that is going on inthe currently available options. The enhancement tab works well most of the time. Sometimes the faces get changed way too much. Please for the love of god, replace the “done” button with a “save “ button. I automatically go to done and end up losing the project I waited to be completed.

Could be better.. The app works as intended and does a pretty good job of it. Though, if you don’t intend on purchasing a subscription to the app or paying the one time fee of $40 (on sale at the time of review) then your ability to use the app is very limited. Could be better, but you’re limited to three pictures a day with an ad to watch with each picture unless you are willing to pay.

Held hostage. If you don’t rate this app, a popup will appear every single minute you use the app asking you to rate it even if you already paid for it! It is not my job as a customer to write reviews. It is your job to give me the product I paid for and stop badgering me. On a different note, this app would be infinitely more valuable if I could train the AI on how to represent someone’s likeness by feeding it some photos of a loved one. Then the app could enhance other photos of that person using the photos I provided as reference rather than using photos of random people as reference. No one wants a picture of a loved one where their eyes, nose, and mouth look like someone else.

It’s fascinating…but. This would be a great app if it didn’t freeze and glitch constantly. Also, if there was a back/undo button if you don’t want to keep the option you just tried and want to go back to previous setting. It has potential and I was excited at first but the more I tried to use it the less I liked it. Not worth the price it costs. This is my opinion of course, maybe it’s user error or something but it didn’t keep my attention and there are other editing apps that may not do what this does, but do more things better.

Pixelup pretty perfect. My husband and I enjoy turning people into life with this new ap. He and I have lost family we cared a lot for. Enhancing our favorite pictures of dear family members and have them smiling or winking is just priceless! We have decided to go for the upgrade and enjoy the ap year round forever. Pretty fun, and if you are like me with all our pictures in albums by date order then it is real easy to choose the perfect picture! Thanks Cheryl & Dennis

This app is horrible!!. I downloaded this app today and tried it right away since there’s only a three-day trial period. The first photo, I saw no change whatsoever: the before and after were identical. The second blurry, bleached-out photo that I tried had HORRIFYING results: the changes they made to my father’s mouth were disfiguring, and the results on my seven-year-old daughter’s face made her look like a burn victim! I literally cried out, “omigod!” when the after photo appeared and I zoomed in to try to figure out why she looked so bizarre. That was it for me. Just looking now to see how I cancel my subscription….

Amazing restoration, but paid still has ads.. I have to say, this is an amazing app for restoring your old or faded photos. My only complaint is that after paying for the app, you are still assaulted with two ads urging you to share after each transformation. There should be a way to turn this off. It’s absolutely maddening. Save that stuff for a free version please!!!

Great focus. I like this app. It really saved the day on some of my photos that I thought would be lost forever. The only glitch may be that if you have a picture that has too low of a resolution the app makes its own idea of the picture and it may not come close to what it's supposed to look like but I found that to be only on extremely low resolution pics. overall for making images sharper and more detailed it's a great app
