Terrible program / doesn’t work!!!. Can’t even get this app to work at all. Complete waste of money.

Did not find my fire tv stick. Both phone and tv are on the exact same network and the search just spins. Attempted to contact support and that link goes nowhere. The reviews were so good I had purchased the annual upgrade now I’m stuck with this app that doesn’t work.

??. I lost the control for my tv so I have to use an app….but how am I supposed to connect the tv if I have to use a control that I don’t have to go on settings and try and connect it from there???

Not a replacement remote. Had I known that I needed a remote to connect this I wouldn’t have wasted my money! Now I don’t have a remote and im down $10 because i bought this and I need the actual remote to connect it. So stupid!!

Don’t waste your money. Bought my TV (brand new) last year. The app doesn’t work with my TV at all. The only Way to find out if it works is to pay a fee. There’s no way to contact customer service. This app is a total scam.

Terrible app. You can’t even use the product because of all the pop-up ads. I will be deleting this immediately it’s a waste of time. No one is going to want to use this product if you can’t even use the product because of all the pop-up ads that’s a dumb move on somebody.

Confused. So I download the app due to can’t find remote but I can’t connect it with out a remote this is dumb. Ugh waste of time. It should say at the beginning you need your remote so upset

Trash. App is trash. Never even got connected. The only instructions given are a step by step process through your settings menu, and when you get to the end, it’s asking you to toggle something that isn’t even there

Too many ads. It would work for like a few seconds then an ad would appear

Not worth the ads!!. The positive ratings of this app are misleading or just plain lies. I Accidentally downloaded this one by mistake. Three things that make this app not worth the trouble. 1. The ads you have to watch when you push any button, and they charge you to be ad free 2. The delay in response makes trying to fast forward or rewind just a PIA. Because it used network instead of Bluetooth. 3. The app makes you go into setting to allow 3rd party apps usable. I ended up downloading amazons official remote app. It uses Bluetooth so response is same as original remote. NO ADS for pushing a button and I don’t miss the volume option too much.

Obnoxious ads. To use this app effectively you need the pay version. Rapid fire ads make simple use of the free version a hassle. 5 taps of any of the buttons trigger a 30 second ad. Once connected, there’s about a 1 second lag before a response, but this may be because of network latency. Probably not worth the money. I’m deleting it.

No accurate instructions. My fire stick didn’t have the settings the instructions in the app said I needed to set. Couldn’t use it.

Trash - Won’t Even Connect. I’ve tried to connect to 2 different Fire Sticks (1 newer gen, 1 2-3 yrs old). I turned the debugging on and connected to the same network as instructed. Reset the Fire Sticks, the App, my phone, my router, everything I could think of doing, I did. And it just sits there trying to connect. And, the “app support” link in the App Store is broken. They want $10 for a lifetime purchase, which I was happy to pay for a remote that would let me use my watch, which is the only reason I was trying to find a non-Amazon remote app. But, don’t waste your time. The way this thing is setup, it encourages you to spend the money for the premium subscription before you even get it to connect. Trash company offering no support for a trash app. Change my mind, tell me where I’m wrong here?

Cannot be paired. I bought the $9.99 version and attempted to pair it. The menu option used to pair is no longer available on FireTv. So, I’m out ten bucks.

I should’ve read the reviews :(. Believe the reviews! Big time Scam! Does not work and my phone and fire stick are on the same network! It keeps loading and loading! Can’t even get a hold of the developer. Not cool. I’ve reported to Apple.

BEWARE!!. One star rating because zero stars isn’t an option.. This app does not work. If you choose the ‘limited’ version, you’ll be limited to ads only; You’ll never get to control your tv/fire stick. If you click anywhere on the app about 3 times, you’ll be redirected to an ad. I wouldn’t recommend paying for the upgraded remote app simply because WHO DOES THAT? Best bet is to just buy another fire stick remote.. Save yourself the headache 😩

Don’t do it. The look of it is nice but that’s about it. I can go to home but I can’t access the apps thru the app button ⚡️supplied at the bottom of the app; then it crashes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled already. Just get the free app. This one isn’t worth spending $9.99! I should have known better🦈

You need a remote to set up this remote. Useless unless you think to download this before you lose or damage your remote, since the instructions to set it up require access to a working remote.

Do NOT Make the Mistake of Downloading. I purchased the premium and it is glitchy. The down button does NOT work so you can’t navigate. App requires you to change settings in fire tv. Once you do this, you can NO LONGER USE your actual fire tv remote. So you need to go back into settings to fix this - only problem… you have to use your remote app to go in to settings and since you can’t use the down button, you can’t navigate to the part of the settings app to fix this. I seriously may have to get a new Fire Stick because we are totally reliant on Alexa to navigate our fire tv and we ALL know what a debacle that can be. I’m so mad! Forget the $10 the premium cost me, I just want it gone and back to my remote! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remote. It’s so stupid you have to pay to change the channel and then for the free you have an ad every 3 times you press a button

Good app. I have been using this app ever since I lost my tv remote and this app has worked boomed even tho I didn’t have my remote I was still able to access the tv and be able to use channels and apps❤️

Waste of money. I paid for the premium remote and it stopped working after a day. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but this didn’t fix the issue. I downloaded another app and it worked immediately.

Vulgar ads. I can’t even allow my kids to use this remote because the ads are continuously and inappropriate.

Scam. This remote don’t work it is a scam! In the instructions they tell you to go to settings then my fire tv then developer options. Developer options don’t exist.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Waste of good iPhone space. Can’t find my original remote anywhere and so decided to download a fire stick remote app. This is a click bate app. Nothing and I mean nothing works on here. It simply opens up ads for other games. I have no idea if premium works because I absolutely refuse to pay for a membership to a remote app. The ironic thing is I’ve been using an actual remote app at no charge with no Ads, that from time to time I have to delete and re-add. I ended up downloading this one. Idk why, options I guess. When one acts up I have another. But NO!!! skip it.

TERRIBLE APP. Terrible remote! Way to many ads. You have to keep reconnecting to your tv. Then it just stopped working. Found a remote with no ads and did not need to keep connecting when opening. This app is terrible.

Why?. I don't see why you would use this app, when the fireTV app also can control your firestick

Scam. Should have read the reviews absolute waste of $10. Does not connect to anything regardless of the network your on. Disconnecting the stick from power to reset everything didn’t work either. So mad at myself I should have read the reviews first l DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS APP.

Thought I had to buy the premium to even get it so I got cheated out of $10 and pretty sure the host company is a scam because there link doesn’t work and all others apps that they have all have the same problem.

Doesn’t work with Fire Tv, only Fire TV stick!. I have a Fire TV device, like, an actual television that is fire tv, and this app does not work with it at all, even after following every single step in the instructions and in the troubleshooting. Don’t waste your money and stick to your fire tv app, until something good comes along for Apple Watch too.

Worthless for me. I purchased this app, thinking it would replace my fire stick remote. However, my Firestick remote is broken so I cannot access the configuration required to setup this new remote. It would’ve been nice to have had a trial period to make sure it works.

I’m sure it works for some people…. Unfortunately not for me. Devices are on the same network, followed the connection help instructions, rebooted all devices several times, still nothing. There doesn’t seem to be any companion app on the fire TV, my guess is either it works for you or it doesn’t. In my case, it just doesn’t.

Bloated Spyware. Tried this app to replace my fire stick remote. First thing it asks for is access to all devices on my networks. Nope. Then it wants access to my photos. Nope. I uninstalled this app because it’s more intrusive than helpful.

Too many ads. Not only did it not work, but ads pop up every second. The only way to avoid ads is to pay. Ridiculous for a utility app.

Don’t download. Like the other 1 star reviews left this is trash. I just download the limited version just to see how it worked and it’s just ad after ad after ad after ad and long ones too! The developers would do well to learn more about how to make an app appealing to the leads that download it because I’m not shy about spending money and if this app is as good as it is supposed to be then the developer would show it off not just hit us with endless ads everything you touch a button Don’t waste your time
