One of the better AI art apps I’ve tried, but glitchy and not made for tablets. The results tend to be better than other AI art apps and bots I’ve tried, and you have more options for directing the style of the art generated. They seem to try to improve the app based on feedback from users, but I personally have not found most of the changes an improvement; they either create glitches or make it harder to find things I used to know the location of. Upscaled images look good zoomed out, but if you look closer, there are lots of odd little AI artifacts. The interface is designed for phones, so it’s not great for tablets. That was less of an issue before, when I could use a browser, but now they’ve completely disabled the ability to create images in mobile browsers (even tablets with larger screens than some laptops). The contact support feature sometimes doesn't work.

App uses sift to monitor and report on users and content created. App used to collect data on users with predictive analytics to determine or guess if a user is violation t&c via content created and tracks user through their devices. And much much more. If you downloaded this app on the App Store under its name it will say if you have been “sifted “. Sift is a trust and safety company that not only Collects data points on users and guesses users intentions and potential future risks associated with the user but can also not only retrieve but send data to the user. All around this ai art generator app is just a mask for an application that spy’s on you and lord knows what they consider fraud in terms on ai art but once your sifted they grade you on a risk scale from 1-100. What they do with this data is another thing. Don’t bother deleting the app it is forever synced on your cloud and backed up regardless of it not being visible on your device- it’s there, just hidden.

Double standard. The app on the whole is actually really well designed from UX perspective. It does crash frequently but not enough to keep from utilizing. The challenge or really annoying component of the app is they have gamified publishing. The more likes you get the more free designs or renditions you can create. The pictures that typically get the most likes are scantily clad females even though their privacy policy is adamant about how this unacceptable. They will ban certain pictures and allow others based on the tagging. You can create a mediocre request and turn it something racy and slip under the radar. Policy drives behavior, so the creations especially in the ‘new’ category are often designers pushing the limit to see what they can get away because it ultimately saves them money to publish something provocative that bots don’t pick up.

Simple yet amazing.. Anyone can use this app to generate an image that resembles whatever they imagining in their ‘minds eye’. It takes a little practice to perfect the skill of accurately describing the scene, and I usually find myself spending most of my time rewording the description clearly because it makes all the difference in the world. Guess and test is part of the refinement process that eventually seems to yield a rendering that is as close as anything I would expect from a human artist (is that OI - Organic intelligence? ) No matter what; it’s fascinating seeing what the app conjures up next.

One of the best programs for this sort of thing. Alright so I poked around a couple programs for these ai-generated art things, and I think this is probably the best, the only other good program that does this is nightcafe, and that only lets you do one decent-quality picture a day, starryai let you do 2 a day when I got it, and 5 a day now. The options for style are pretty versatile, and it recognizes non-words. I’ve tried inputting dnd monster and Pokémon names and it seems to recognize them enough to get the basic features, shapes, and colors right (I input “aboleth” and it creates a tentacled sea monster, I input “skitty” and it gave me a pink-and-cream batch of blobs, with a few cat ears scattered around). I’ve even seen it recreate humanoid figures, which I’d assume would be hard to make. Tl;dr really nice program, I think the other people complain and give it 1 star because they don’t realize the credits reset daily, the one big improvement would be adding that to the app description so people realize

Fantastic. Great for specs/ idea generation and initial layouts; equally helpful in directing my approaches in creation; and some wonderful style changes that teach and challenge my (*stale thoughts & repetitive habits) lesser artistic aspects into fresher thoughts - some of their generation pieces are absolutely fantastic (especially if you’ll put a little effort and retries into it). Even as challenged, cheap and poor as I am (disabled artist don’t ya know) this has pretty much been the best AI Art generation app I’ve used so far (and have now touched about a dozen others) - very grateful for this tool. Thank you StarryAI ❤️

Retouch stopped working.. Great app, one of the best AI art generators that exists & been using since May. Had been so excited about the retouch feature since it’s launch which was working great until about two days ago. Which since it’s very unreliable and wasting a lot of time, creating new images instead of retouching in process work. Very frustrating. I’ve tried everything, nothing seems to get it working again. It just randomly works or doesn’t. Mostly not working. But was working flawlessly for about two weeks. Hope this can be fixed soon. Thanks everybody. 😁

Like A Kid With A New Favorite Toy!. I am a 70 year old artist, with eclectic tastes, and who uses many types of materials and medias. Starry AI is my new favorite toy. While sometimes it is challenging, trying to learn how to word prompts to get the right results, it is also, fun to see the serendipitous results that come up, sometimes amazing and greater than I imagined. I think I’m learning, along with many other artists, and I think maybe the AI is learning right along with us, in a different way, of course. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Thanks, but still a little more change needed. Thank you for fixing the problems mentioned below in my previous review. One annoyance persists, though. The “remove” or “negative” prompts do not “carry over” when remixing a creation in the way the main prompt does. It would be great if this could be fixed. PREVIOUS REVIEW: The change to make images generate separately instead of in groups of 4 or 8 is TERRIBLE and needs to be fixed/undone. Ditto on disabling the “percentage strength” for remixing the images. Why would you do that? These changes need to be undone very soon or I will have to cancel my unlimited pro max subscription. The app is practically unusable until these recent changes are reverted.

Great App!. By far the best AI art software I’ve come across. Lots of great features, very user friendly. Unfortunately, with such a small community, it’s rather difficult to earn credits (you earn credits by getting likes on your published pieces which is really cool in theory) so you really just end up having to buy them. It’s really unfortunate considering how unique of an idea the credit earning system is. Other than that, it’s pretty much perfect, would recommend.

Decent app, a few problems I’m having. This is a really cool app, and I enjoy getting to express ideas in my head through it. However I’ve run into a couple problems. One is that the app seems to be very uncooperative with the words I put in the engine. However, im sure this is just an issue with our current technological advancement. A problem though that I’m sure you can fix, is that I will try to create something, and the app does something totally different and weird. Naturally, I don’t want to keep that, so I try to delete it, but it won’t let me delete any images. It’s kinda frustrating because I don’t want to clutter my homepage with all these pictures I don’t want, but the app won’t let me delete it! What’s up with this? Update: I now tried to create new art, and it went and deleted stuff I’ve already done without me even touching it?!? Why is this happening, I can’t figure it out!

Simply The Best. I’ve tried multiple AI programs and this one is my favorite! You get 5 free credits per day and can earn even more (by watching some ads, you get an additional 20 credits). They do have pro-plans that will allow unlimited use, but being a college student it’s a little too expensive for me at this time. Definitely worth trying! Pros - Fast, mostly accurate, allows you to download images with no watermarks Cons - A bit pricey, filters out certain words so using the app to produce images of the natural human body (even in an artistic format), when inputting more than one name (such as celebrity names) it sometimes merges the two individuals into a single person)

wish i could give 5 stars, used to love this app. ive had this app from the start basically and man it was evolving so fast and so well for so long. but after months of using midjourney and finally returning to starryai, i have to say this app is absolutely AWFUL and the biggest waste of money. the interface couldn’t be buggier, the quality is insanely poor. for some reason, using 2 credits instead of 1 for 100 iterations rather than 50 iterations results in much poorer quality??? i have a million problems with this app now, and very few good things to say. whatever good things come out of starryai, i promise they’ll be WAY better in midjourney. so PLEASE, take your money to midjourney if u want to make high quality ai art that is accurate to your text input. cancelling my starryai membership now!

Doesn’t match the competition. Maybe this was one of the best options a year ago, but now it is way too expensive for what it delivers. I compared this to a few other AI art generators using the same prompts and settings. The art in this app is sometimes downright ugly. There are many more mistakes (such as a person’s head being backwards). And frankly it is just too expensive. Other apps charge close to this, but they are not limited. This app gives credits (or an iteration). It’s possible to use 200 iterations in a month easily depending on your project and process. This gets 2 stars because it returns photos quickly and allows you to save your prompts and settings.

Somethings has gone wrong recently…. I want to give this app five stars, and a month and a half ago, I would have. It used to make some of the best looking ai art creations of the available apps with daily free credit options. However, recently bugs and other issues have plagued many of the important features of the app. Retouching an image is essentially impossible, you either get stuck on the masking screen or the app freezes OR you hit the create button and nothing at all happens. Creating your own styles is also broken. You can waste 50 credits to train a style and there’s a very good chance it simply will not work at all. It’s a very expensive feature and it seems completely broken for now. Tldr, maybe wait a few updates before using this app

Art Great Features Need Work. The art capabilities are fantastic and very fun to play with. Doesn’t seem to always give daily credits. Difficult to organize art into favorites. Seems like there is several hours to sometimes days of lag between creating art and having it display in recents when trying to add to a project folder. Same for deleting ones that don’t turn out. Building prompts is really finicky. Can’t save negatives. Often doesn’t save or show up when you save them. Often the save option doesn’t even appear unless you use specific workarounds like first opening an existing prompt, then pasting what you want instead of typing it, then deleting old prompt items to save. Fails often.

Love it!. I never write reviews but I just have to say I am obsessed with this app!! I keep buying the month if pro, canceling because I’m trying to save money and then subscribing again because it’s so much fun and inspiring!! I love that they are working on developing and improving the app to share our creations as well. I don’t use other social media platforms for many reasons but a huge one is the rise of influencers marketing products and ads. I understand apps need to make $$ but I hope this stays just about the art! Great app, super easy and intuitive! I understand the criticism of having to pay for pro to get rid of ads but for me it’s been well worth it and especially worth it for the free upscale. I run a d&d campaign and I’ve been using starryai to make concept art and my players loved it!!

All of my images disappeared. Every single one of my pictures are gone, it just says I don’t have any so thats why one star is gone. The second star gone is because with all the details you can make to your generated photo. The main issue is with which artists you can choose. It will say the artists name but you can’t really tell what their style is until you use your points to see. I feel like it would be better to have a “popular” sections when creating a picture because that allows people not knowing what they want to see what the majority of other people find best

The best I’ve found. And yes, I’m a real person.. First, I’m a real person leaving a real review. Believe, don’t believe, up to you. I want to say right away there ARE ways to make lots of amazing quality pics of all kinds for free (tips further down). Alright, so I’ve tried multiple apps like this, and this is the best. I’ve been on for months, and it gets regular updates. It can make VERY realistic, anime style, or in the artistic styles of well-known artists. The main tip I recommend is become familiar with the app. Look at the artwork others are making, including their prompts to learn how to add what you want while subtracting common flaws like distorted anatomy. Just saying “make blah blah” doesn’t utilize the fine-tuning options that set this app so far apart from many others. The second thing is to make sure you watch ads each day. You get 40 free pics that way (2 credits makes 4 pics) so I save up throughout the week. You can earn more by sharing some of your pics within the app or on social media. There is much more I can say, but I recommend you get the app, join the discord, start having fun and see for yourself!

Have to pay. It’s fun until you run out of credits and can’t generate any new ai art unless you pay. Then it says you can get free credits if you wait til after 6am. Well 6am (24 hours) has passed and no free credits. I’m sorry but I am not paying $12/month or subscribing and having issues cancelling the subscription for ai art that really isn’t that good. I thought this app would be useful in helping me get ideas for my own art. I am an artist and needed ideas for horror art. Well, the art produced wasn’t really that good. At one point it even showed me a blurry image as a “final result”, what am I gonna do with a blurred image of nothing? I don’t know how people are getting the really beautiful ai images from this. And why does it have to cost? I can understand charging maybe a one time fee of $5 for the entire app unlimited but why $12/month ($144/year)?? There’s only so much you can do with this app and only so many things you can think of to have the ai generate. Also if I type in a phrase and someone else types in a phrase, will we both have the same results? Who owns the copyright then? This claims you own the copyright to your creations but how can every piece be unique??? Cool app if it was free or cheaper. I mean at least explain why it needs to be a monthly subscription and not a one time low payment. Does the ai machine need to be continuously maintained? Does the ai have to be fed more information on a daily bases? What is it??

Starryai!. Wow this is an amazing app. I love all the details and beauty it has. I realize Ai is hard to do but if I could give a suggestion, maybe when blending two images it could come out smoother or with the original thought. For example I typed in: “Galaxy full of roses” and it gave me what looked like cinnamon rolls with weird space colors. Maybe it could have kept the color of the roses instead of making them the background? Thank you if you read, great app and bless your heart.

Save your money, try another AI generator. Starryai has a good idea but the execution isn’t there yet. The app is a bit limited in terms of options for the generator and there are bugs in the interface. The community gallery and rating system is what sets the app apart but this has the most problems. When scrolling through the gallery the viewer often duplicates certain artwork repeatedly preventing it from scrolling down to see others, at this point it will often crash if you continue to scroll. Often the app ignores when the view settings change. There is no way to view all of the gallery or see random entries so people can only see your art if it happens to get enough likes quickly enough otherwise it drops off the visible lists entirely and can no longer be viewed to receive more likes. Other random bugs include generated images that appear entirely black or hang the app. Credits are very expensive and starryai is stingy with credits even on the paid tiers. Other AI art generators such as Diffusitron give more credits per day free and are easier to control with more advanced features like model selection and honestly much better results.

Sexual Content. There are a lot of good things about this app, however, the developer's lack of response to reported sexual content is not one of them. I understand that, like many ai apps/sites, they rely on users to help them moderate content, and I have no problem with that. Other apps I've used immediately remove a reported image from public view until it's been reviewed. When I report content on Starryai, there is a message saying it will be reviewed asap, but the image remains. In the last few months, I've reported a number of images (usually of near-naked women) but they always remain. There is no action on the part of the developers. The deal killer tonight amounts to child porn. The image was reported, and I was hoping that this one would disappear. But of course not. The prompt blatantly calls for teenagers in skimpy clothing and underwear. If nothing else, there should have been safeguards in place regarding the wording of the prompt itself, as other ai apps do. I can't support this app and can only recommend people to avoid it. I realize none will be perfect, but there are equally good and better alternatives that do make the effort to preserve human dignity by setting and enforcing community decency standards. I hope that either developers will respond to this by taking direct action in their app and website, or that they will be shut down. This is inexcusable.

Meh… not that great. Many times I have prompts that are clear and specific indicating I want specific things in the picture. Vast majority of the time specified items are not in the image. Way too many cases of distorted facial features. I made several requests to generate an image of fictional music groups/bands. In almost all cases the faces are hilariously distorted and freaky. In one case I asked for “cover artwork for a new album by the rock band KISS”. One of the images had Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in it. Some had 3 members some had 5 (one had 6… there are only 4 members). All of the faces very distorted. Also issues with extra body parts. Asked once for a picture of a “green alien with big black oval eyes in an alien landscape”. It generated what looked like a dude wearing a Halloween mask standing in front of a mountain.

Great AI art tool. I downloaded this on my iPad like several month ago, i was producing some trash so I stop using it. But one day I got inspired by another person doing some cool anime style AI art for a NFT project that I actually purchased. So I gave it another shot, I simply went into the prompts and wrote a story. The results so far are great. I am hooked right now and have so many idea coming from this. Hope fully something can improved and be added to platform itself, but great job so far.

Great app, big problem though. So, this is my first time reviewing something, so… This app is honestly amazing to me, it gets all the features of the art right, but recently something happened, and I can’t get any ai art, basically it’s a ad, the Firestone ad, I can’t skip it, and I want to make ai art very badly, but whenever I press “create” it always gives me that specific ad, I’m just asking if you could take down the ad and replace it with something else? Or maybe make the ad skippable? Please?

Decent, but too expensive and to many errors. I applaud starry for providing an app like this. However, they charge waaaaayyyyyy to much money for an AI that routinely renders inaccurate pictures and ignores whole swaths of prompts. Either make more credits available for free or significantly update the AI. Also while I like the idea of generating your own art style, anyone whose been around AI knows 5-30 photos aren’t nearly enough to gather a wide array of options. You need hundreds of labeled photos to do an art style justice. Worth a download, but don’t expect it to work right every time. I wouldn’t pay for it. Also, use your user base to help label photos for updated training and for grading results. This is the best way to get curated data.

When it was new and there wasn't much competition it was good.. Now it has become the best! As someone who has used them all, this has the STARRY MAGIC. More creative, less limited. They automatically run the scripts that fix faces for realistic portraiture. They may want to turn off those for the avatar maker. People complaining about inaccuracy are probably pretty ugly. Fix that :) Starry AI not the weirdos who are afraid of bikinis or think Lady Gaga is NSFW. The negative prompt image defacing is minimal. Most fun to use. FAST. OK before you complain that they're expensive, their technology is the newest and you get what you pay for. Just pay for it once and you'll see. The real revolution is gonna be fixing their interface and update the old version of the app for older iPads and iPhones it is estimated that there are twice as many out there. These are people that can't use a new software. Since it's entirely your back end process, All the old players will eventually come to starryAI. Fast before someone else capitalizes on it.

Good Still Needs Work. I have made several pictures trying to depict illustrations for Bible themes. Some turn out decent but I find the faces could be improved. Sometimes body’s parts like neck lines are not connected and fingers seem to be a problem with some A. I. Apps. It seems if you add to many details in the text then things just get left out of the picture. But I have noted this app is still a work in progress and continues to improve so will continue to keep creating art with it..

Ruined. StarryAI used to be pretty great, especially compared to most similar apps available because you could get five free credits a day (that could be saved) to make ai generated images of anything you could imagine and the developers seemed dedicated to adding new and interesting features that allowed you to create images in different styles. Recently however, they added annoying ads that cannot be closed after they are finished playing so you have to reboot the app! Very annoying. Also, there is now a strong filter that limits your ability to create the images you want, apparently, due to google and apple policies. Hopefully the filter is tweaked such that it doesn’t impact functionality as much as what it does now. I have found a free alternative however and will discontinue my use of this app.

Awesome, stunning, creepy, mind expanding, thought-provoking, surrealistic!. The world of artificial intelligence is advancing so rapidly, I am having trouble keeping up with it! I had read about an image generation program that can create amazing artwork simply by being given a descriptive phrase, but I thought that such software was a long way from general use. Imagine my surprise when I looked on the App Store and found StarryAI! This app can create incredible images as simply as telling it what you want. There are also controls to input your own image if desired and to fine-tune the results! As an artist, I will use this app every day to expand my mind, inspire me, and open up new horizons of thought and exploration. I just wish it had a version specifically for iPad!

Good, but limited.. The images are quite beautiful, but there are glitches. For instance, as an experiment, I asked for a velociraptor in a top hat and monocle; I got dinosaurs with cowboy hats and no monocles. A request for an old man with a monocle produced an old man with glasses. A request for a monocle by itself produced some moody pictures of various women. Elsewhere, prompts with the terms “prehistoric”, “Paleolithic” and “cave man” produced very modern-looking characters in modern clothes; the algorithm regularly ignores simple requests. After a render of characters in a futuristic city, I ask for characters in a park, but get a cityscape again. Other than that, it’s a fun toy. Would be nice if there was some way to reject failed generations so as not to waste credits; it’s one thing to get something you weren’t expecting, quite another to have your request ignored completely.

Experience Orwellian censorship. used to be a pretty helpful little program, but now if you breathe wrong, you’ll trigger censorship. Ah yes, censorship. 1984 is here. Now I get keeping creeps and perverts from generating things that actual photos are already illegal, but some stuff js just way to ridiculous I’m going overboard. For example., I’ll type the musician, prince on a motorcycle, holding a big bottle of shampoo.(rain)(purple rain). Full size coloring book image, black and white contour, detailed certain black outline. Seems harmless, right? Evidently not because that prompt activated safety filters. OK maybe somethings wrong needs to be tweaked. Let’s contact customer support. How can they help? Well actually they can’t help. “ Somethings gone wrong. content could not be loaded.” you’re exactly right story, something has gone wrong… censorship.

This app is insane. I’ve tried out over a dozen “text to art” AI apps and StarryAI is the only one that is capable of generating people and animals that don’t look like Vecna’s wet dreams. If you ask Starry to make a photo of a character you made up, it creates a mindblowingly realistic rendition of your imagination — and not of some freaky distorted zombie nightmare like every other app of this kind does. I don’t know what Starry has that’s different but it’s lightyears ahead of every other AI art app out there at the moment.

Surprisingly addicting as a professional artist!. To start, no one’s told me to review this and I was skeptical….but I’ve had way more fun than I anticipated with this app! It’s not always spot on to what I’m going for but It get closer the more I get used to the prompts and choices I make with different style references, artists to use as a guide and mediums for the application. Anyone with a creative mind and interest in creating anything will have a good time with this app! It’s inspired me to do multiple AI paintings a day, mainly just to see what it’s going to come up with! I’ve been thinking about using it to help me with conceptual phases of paintings as another tool I’m my back pocket to help the creative juices get flowing when I’m hitting a wall. Any artist can relate to that feeling.

New Orion Update - Weird Artifacts. I use this app all of the time, and have spent a decent amount of money buying credits since I really enjoy it. I was a big fan of the Orion AI and thought I had it down pretty good to get what I wanted. The new update has allowed for initial images and seems to have changed the way the Orion AI works when you evolve images? I don’t mind that, and I feel like it’s a good direction for the AI, but I’m starting to get weird artifacts or squiggles in my creations if I evolve the piece more than once or twice. I used to evolve a piece probably 5+ times in average with no issue, which helped me get what I was really looking for, but doing that now is significantly messing with the quality of the piece and feels like I’m wasting credits. Hopefully it’s just an initial issue as bugs get worked out and the AI is further tuned. I’ll have to work with the settings to try to find a new combination that I really like/relearn what I should expect the settings to output, but I may hold off on using Orion for a bit until that gets fixed. Overall, the app is really great! I highly recommend it.

Banned and no explanation. So I was testing the app, fun and easy to use. The free portion fully depends on you sharing your projects to the public feed of the app along with sharing to twitter, instagram, TikTok and Reddit. All of the sudden I can not long publish projects and all support can tell me is I violated co tent policy but they can’t tell me what I published that violated policy and once restricted from publishing it is permanent and no appeal process. There was no warning that what I shared could violate policy. I had just upgraded to Pro account and will now be cancelling that and deleting the app. If you are using this app for free you need to be able to publish project to earn coins to continue to create projects. Publish with caution and be aware they will not tell you what their restricted you account for just some wide scope of you violated a policy.

Best AI Art App. This is the one app I use on a regular basis and made an account for because it is the most stable and intuitive app in the entire Appstore. it was also to my knowledge, the first one. There are so many junk AI Art apps now it’s ridiculous and time wasting, but this app is worth every second of your time. I have enjoyed the updates, so many additions have been made some of which I had asked for in the survey. I look forward to StarryAI continuing to get better and enjoy following other artists on the app. My next request is for StarryAI to add short movie clips or animated photos to the option for the starting image, if possible that would be awesome. I would also like a lifetime option to purchase the app. I don’t do subscriptions, but I still want to use the options that are unlocked when you pay and I also want to support the developers for making such an amazing app. I consider this the OG of AI Art apps. Thanks for your hard work guys, love your app and can’t wait to keep using it. Your app is the reason I got started making AI Art.

BEWARE: I will not pay to use it anymore. Scammed and unequal censorship. THERE ARE BETTER SITES WITH BETTER CONTROL OF THERE AI GENERATORS So imagine bringing a prompt to life only for it to be flagged for NSFW even though your piece had none when it was published. Even if you remove the NSFW in the prompts they still flag it. Subject in an evening gown?? Flagged - Using the word “pawn”? Flagged I’ve found better sites like Artbreeder which is free to be much more fair and responsible with their use of censorship. Censorship issues: You can have a fully clothed submission and the will still flag your submission and blame the AI instead of fixing the issue. Also I noticed that more than credit is used per submission. I am canceling my subscription due to the shady business practices of this app.

Hello. I really love this app! I am Not sure what we are allowed to do with the Art we create. I’m working on understandings nfts and feel your app is over the top on quality to create. How do I get in touch with someone to find out legal rules? What am allowed to do with the Art once it’s created? Highly Recommend otherwise. I’m also having a hard time with sharing. I can’t seem to hit on the one picture I want to share and it keeps giving me the same one.

Great! But one suggestion. This app has helped me allot. This a.I helped me with many original characters for a comic I’m tryna do. But the AI sometimes lacks attention to the detail in the prompt. For example, I tried to make an original spider man suit for a project. The only thing it got right was the fact that it made it an all black suit. I asked for white web designs, no webs in sight, I ask for white jagged eyes, I get straight red eyes. When I say hood integrated in the suit, it gives the suit a raggedy hoodie. If you can fix the A.I a bit, that would be great!

Best AI app.. Produces high quality reliably coherent images. Love that you can upscale them. All the other apps are a hot mess compared to this one. It’s got a huge vocabulary. You are absolutely not limited to the artistic style options. It did anything I wanted it to do. I stuck with one basic image description and made over 50 different outstanding images with it while just playing around and figuring out what it was capable of aside from fulfilling random requests. I wish this technology was available to augment photo editing capabilities on my computer. I kind of love it. In the right hands, this is a tool. In the wrong you’ve got a bunch of people thinking they are artists who aren’t necessarily actual artists. Very few face fails. The only thing it couldn’t do reliably for me was fingers. I’m not going to complain because that’s nothing compared to the other ones out there.

I used to really love this app until the other day.. Why do the pictures all go separately now? Give an option to do that. And now the reprocessing of images seems to totally disregard the percent strength from starting image. It’s like it completely ignores the percent. The fact that you removed the % from the after-generation settings in addition to showing the original picture makes me think this was completely planned. Very, very disappointing. I liked to run several filters on an image in succession, sometimes the same filter, with decreasing strength. Other times, I’d run an image through multiple different filters. You killed my style overnight. I might have to find a new app. Sad. UPDATE: I canceled my renewing subscription in April. If you don’t fix the %, this app is useless to me. Nobody responds to me on discord and your support chat is always “back tomorrow”

Good but still needs work. This is probably one of the better AI art apps I’ve tried. It allows much more freedom for creation options plus is very f2p friendly. It’s still a bit buggy tho, it seems to have issues. It’ll bug out occasionally crashing or black screening while opening pictures. Plus the projects mode could use some work. Like for instance deleting a project maybe shouldn’t delete the art in it. Also they should add the ability to move pictures from one project to another.

One of the best apps I’ve ever had!!. I can’t say enough about this app! I am not an artistic person at all more of a left brain type but this app is a great outlet for me to express myself through a proxy. It fascinates me how it almost seems to know what kind of art would interest me even though there is no option for me to request these specifics. For example I’m a firm believer that the best art is offensive and should elicit strong emotional responses even if it is anger fear or embarrassment because that means it’s making some kind of strong connection to you and I found that this AI (of course I DONT know if it understands these things that could also be why it does them but I’m choosing to believe that it IS that smart) seems to integrate this concept into a lot of the pictures for me which I absolutely love. One thing I found terrifying no matter how I look at it makes me question the desire to use AI so frivolously and is because of the result that was produced from the words “peace at last” it gave a post apocalyptic scene of destruction that had become overgrown by nature due to the extinction of humans. Is this AI also prophetic or what?!?! Developers: Please make sure you program the AI never to want to destroy us or take over the world please! Remember even Hitler was an artist! I’m joking but also NOT joking. Thank you for this wonderful app and thank you to the merciful AI please try not to enslave all of humanity. Amen. 😋

Such a strange ai art app!. The images are good quality but no matter what prompt I put in lately it’s almost always the same one or two women in it. I’ve never asked for people at all, but that’s what I get. The same two women in different outfits. It also does the same dystopian image a lot with very slight variations - even someone I know got an image very similar to mine and neither of us had requested anything remotely near that. But I have over two hundred credits so I guess I’ll keep using the app anyway. The good thing about the app is it’s completely free - you can pay, but it’s ridiculously expensive for what it offers (and even if you have a paid version it still makes you buy extra credits?!) and it gives you some credits every day that you can save up instead. If there were more variation with the outcomes, more styles to choose from, and unlimited generations, it’d probably be up there with those charging $30-$40/year. But this definitely isn’t on par with those yet and it’s charging so much more, I don’t really understand. I’m assuming people paying for it just don’t know there are other AI Art apps out there. Anyway, it’s a good app just to use as a check against other AI art apps - I’m hoping eventually they will have more variety and styles, and maybe calm down on the pricing a bit after the novelty wears off and it’ll probably be worth paying for. It is weird that an app with such good-quality output has so little to offer otherwise.

Mixed feelings. I like to use the AI to create references and inspiration to do actual paintings. This AI is definitely the best for that, results are good. However, the shady unethical backgrounds bothers me. It is a nice resource. However, it bothers me that they push for a premium payment-based subscription, when the models were trained off of artist’s work without their consent, and without compensation. I would love to use this AI for reference images, but I can’t pay the subscription in good faith, knowing that they took advantage of artists to create it. The artists who made this AI possible were not compensated. How can I financially support a company who is profiting off the exploration of artists? I think AI like this is valuable, I just wish it wasn’t so shady and unethical. Either the software should be free, because non-profit research was the pretense under which the copyrighted work was allowed to be used to train the AI model. Or, if it is going to be a commercial for-profit software like this, the artists should be compensated and consent to their work being used

Interesting app but. It is an interesting app and I do like the fact that you don’t need a subscription. But I found that the AI will often do weird things when making or editing content. For example it seams to have a hard time with hand and will often depict the fingers pointing in weird directions or add extra digits. Then there is the fact that at times it seems to not understand the users description snd will produce stuff once again weirdly. I asked it to create an image of Chinese warriors fighting demons and what it gave me was just Chinese warriors with scrunched up and disfigured faces and weird hands and no demons except for one. The AI has potential but need’s serious improvements.

Awesome app with photorealistic results. PROS: This is one of the best AI art apps I’ve used. It is VERY good and renders photorealistic results using the Orion beta option. So good, I’m willing to pay for it. CONS: You only have 5 credits per day and Orion uses 2 each time. If you don’t like the result, tough luck. I think the developers should implement a low res preview before committing to using 2 (or more) credits and having the opportunity to re-try until you get a desired result and THEN commit to using the credits.

Decent overall, but has a few flaws. StarryAi is pretty awesome. It’s system is super easy to navigate and use, and it produces satisfactory results as well. But there are a couple things I don’t like. One, you can search for kinds of creations, like “realistic cat” or “cartoon characters”. But you can’t search for people’s account names to find and follow them, and you can’t search the actual names of creations. Two, I know this one is a little silly.. but i just find it unnecessary. You can’t use dark mode unless you get starryai pro. And as someone who much prefers dark mode over light mode 90% of the time.. i find it mildly irritating that if we want such a simple thing, we have to pay.

Creating art with AI. Interesting app. Though as an artist who loves to explore new mediums and ideas but a novice at ai. It would be nice to have a free trial offer or still be able to create art without credits in a limited capacity, especially when learning how it works and how to use the app. I was really excited about this app, only to be disappointed that without buying credits or sharing “practice artwork” which isn’t something I would share yet, I can’t continue using it at all. I really wanted to get into this but unfortunately not everyone can afford to pay to experience it and see if it’s for them, and without a free trial or limited use I think you are keeping many people away from using it. Just my thoughts, from what little I was able to use it it looks great.

Great for artists. I’m an artist that usually works directly from photographs. I usually have to trawl through 1000’s of images just to find the correct figure. To find multiple figures in different images to put together is an art form in itself due to many factors (lighting, shadows, direction, viewing angle etc…) This app is fantastic as it calculates all these for you. Sure you’ve got a few things to tidy up like extra fingers, arms and legs and so on, but it gives you a wonderful starting point to use as a creative springboard so I can spend more time painting and much MUCH less researching! Brilliant! Can’t say enough good things about this app ! 👍🎨

Fails to load generated work. Nothings loads

Expensive. An app for the rich

Not very good. But its free. Its free which is great. But it doesnt pay much attention to your prompts. It has no contextual awareness. For example when you ask it generate an image in a certain universe or if you ask it to generate a card, it ignores your prompt.

Pay. You have to pay and the free credits aren’t enough, make it 10 credits after 10 and I’ll be happy

easy to use. Good app, easy to use

Really good!. The only bad thing about this is that the image takes a long time to load.

F this app. I wanted to make a seek image but it gave me something completely different then I tried to make an among us one it gave me something completely different

Awesome. Great fun

Positive/real person review:. I love Starryai, it is great for generating artist concept ideas which for me in my opinion is the best thing going for it. Though if you try to get it to generate human hands and sometimes faces, it does an awful job mostly with the hands. I have had some decent faces generated, but it can’t generate human looking hands to save it self if it had to.. I like how you are able to collect 5 free credits daily, but I hate how you can’t generate your photos to certain sizes that you only can if you pay for pro. Other than that, I’m mostly pretty happy with it and can generate great concept sketches that could go onto becoming masterpieces with the further assistance of a human :)

Awe(some)ness. What a blast! Ten minutes in and I’m seriously impressed. StarryAI is hot.

This AI is advanced!. THIS AI KNOWS EVERYTHING LIKE HISTORY. This is good for people who couldn’t draw something. Like the AI just draw what I’m thinking, this is cool and I really like it!

Awesome but sub ridiculously $$. This is definitely one of the better AI ART APPS. It has a free option (7creditsdaily) or a paid tier subscription. Starting at basic (Monthly billing also available at higher fee see app details) $140 per year, mid level $600 billed yearly & the ultimate subscription billed yearly $1,300 per month it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! There’s a 3day trial on offer, BUT don’t forget to cancel this one b4 it rolls over if that’s all your after

What’s with subscriptions?!. App is a little counter initiative and doesn’t always bring success. It’s disappointing if paying for a subscription and then finding all 4 photos aren’t usable and then having to use more credits to try and get art you might want to use. Over all great idea and mind blowing when it finally makes something that resembles what you asked for. Great free app but wouldn’t spend money of credits. Handy Hint: Remember to claim your 5 free credits a day and watch the ads. I’ve netted over 300 credits just by remembering to check it every day.

A lot of fun. There’s a bit of a learning curve, many possibilities. Lots of fun bringing your ideas to life. The only thing I wish they would add at this point is folders for your creations. You amass a lot of them and it all gets a bit messy

Bro. Broee how crazy, in love w this after first try….

V Nice. V nice

Amazing. The AI generates some truly awe inspiring art. Can’t wait to see how far my imagination can push it

*** CUTE but CRUEL ***. *** Amazing app *** I downloaded this because I read it was a free ai art generator … well, it is the first 2 times, and then it isn’t … Turns out you have to do quite a few things to earn credits in order to create. ONE basic CREATION WILL COST YOU FOUR CREDITS. Here’s the breakdown: social media posts will get you 3 credits (you can earn 3 of these per platform every 3 days); watching an ad (available once a day) earns 2 credits; get 500 likes on a piece of ai art: 25 credits, 1000 likes: 50 credits, the more popular you are, the more you earn. This earning system also applies for your social media presence. OooooTHER THAN THIS, there’s also IRL money options. Here, a pack of 40 credits will set you back $25, which works out around $2.50 per creation, the largest amount available is the 1000 credit pack, which costs $230 or 60c per creation. There’s also the ‘subi’ option which costs $140 a year & gives you 50 credits per month, free 4 x upscaling of art, unlocks all canvas sizes, ad free experience and entitles you to 50% off any extra credit packs you wish to purchase throughout the year. MY VERDICT: this is MOST DEFINITELY A SUPER FUN CREATORS APP, but she ain’t cheap. I’m hopeful that one day they’ll be able to bring their pricing down. One can only imagine how much money it must cost on the developer end to run such a highly complex process, the R&D, etc. IN THE END, I you Starryai. I’m keeping you on my devices so that one day I may be able to afford to make new ai art ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS for you, you might be expensive, but you’re very clever & lots of fun

Meh. It should be free to use not charge you money for being creative.

No credits left. Why no credits why wait 72 hours for more

Shocking. Absolutely disgusting “guardians of morality”. Objects to anything that can remotely be related to nudity, however has no problems creating images of children with guns, children shooting puppies, children shooting at schools etc. Additionally any prompt relating to beauty generated images of young females - clearly designed for young boys :) The issue of allowing graphic violence is highly disturbing.

Not the best. The actual concept of the app is great. However there are a few things that are really frustrating. First of all the app crashes or freezes all the time. It will not load pages and it makes the whole experience less than appealing. Secondly you cannot search for art that you would like to see, an example would be if I am interested in seeing fantasy images or portraits there is no way I can search. You are very limited, and overall I think the app itself is poorly created. The generator also will at times just keep throwing the same kind of images at you. I am considering finding another platform if these issues are not rectified in the next update.

Great app but ads have sexual violence. Unfortunately, I am not in the position to pay for the add-free version. However, there must be a way to select adds that don’t feature rape scenarios and sexual violence. This is a 17+ app but still it’s not right to show woman chained down and looking upset with a giant hand opening their legs and rolling them over to expose them. Sexual content is not the issue. It’s encouraging people to perform rape scenarios as a game that is deeply concerning. Please screen the ads.

Did not receive purchased credits. I have tried a few of these ai artwork programs now, and this does seem to produce good results. I have an issue that I purchased credits, however they did not appear on my account. Followed up with support and provided tax invoice as proof, however still do not have the credits 2 days later.

Great app! Create a creative writing so pls!!!. Hey guys I’m a huge fan your definitely the best art ai on the market, the new pro modes with the infinite slow generations is a huge upgrade and general it just seems to keep improving. I’m actually just taking the time to write this to see if you guys are gonna make a creative writing ai? There really isn’t anything out there other than chatgtp and it’s internal guidelines making actual creative writing an impossibility. You’d have my money for sure, let the robots write with freedom!

Don’t let kids use it!. My 14 year old son typed in ‘pig on a couch’ and up popped a picture of a fat naked man with a massive vagina. And once I typed in ‘Crystal cat’ and got a picture of a naked woman. Also most of the time it just shows photos of Asian people no matter what you type in 🤷‍♀️

🌫. I love this app, it is a beautiful creative space. Still figuring out keywords to get my preferred ‘style’. But i love this. Thank you x

This is awesome. I love it this app is so creative : )

Please bring back Fauvism. Love the app, huge fan of the update, missing the Fauvism rendering style, as it’s my favourite to use. Please bring the option back ❤️❤️

Amazing website. Looks amazing, designs things I would never of thought of.

Best generator yet. So easy to use

Pretty good. I love the images it creates but I made my account using a gmail account on my old phone and can’t login into it using iOS which is the only flaw I have encountered

Really Good App!!! And it’s FREE?!!. This seems almost impossible, obviously you pay to get more credits, but you can have access to the whole app for free. It’s a miracle guys, get on to it!

UESLESS. Absolutely useless… I signed up to an app that works like google, except google is 10 times more useful!

App from the future. What this app can do blows my mind, and I recommend everyone download it and give it a go! My only recommendations are for a night mode display, and a place for us to view the other creations we have liked, so we can see all of our liked creations in one place

Scam. Dev baits you into purchasing a “unlimited” rendering subscription only to be hindered by running out of”credits” to render 4/4 non usable images only to then have to buy more credits. Stop being lazy folks! getting into rendering is easy look into blender and daz3d to start designing your own images yourself without the micro transaction scam of having to top up credits after subscription has been bought.

Love it. So much fun and so easy. Can be serious or just for laughs

Love it!. Highly recommended if you are an artist looking for inspiration or an author with a vision.

Fix the bug pls ;(. The app sometimes just take ur credit and don’t create the picture !

Neat lil app. This is the 4th art ai I have tried tonight. It’s the only one that got flower dragons and mushroom deer even close. Very impressed

Wombo is better and its free. Results nowhere near what I expected

In Awe!. I have tried a few of these types of apps and this one is the easiest app to use in this genre. So user friendly.

Pretty cool. Pretty cool app. Wish got more credits daily but ohwell

Awful ads. Ads need to be removed. They are adult content. Should not be on an app for art with no warning.

pretty good so far. honestly I only just got my first set of images from this. I also just tried 3 or 4 similar apps just now and this one is the first one that didn’t try to immediately sign me up for a monthly subscription before I even decided if I liked it yet. So far, i’m impressed with the images it made.

This is such a great app!!. 10/10 great app! It’s got good pricing for memberships! And it’s not a scam! You can generate great ai art with this app and it’s addictive I love it!! This app is great dev team don’t give up on this app! I love it and I’m sure all of yous will love it too.

Not bad, but pricey. It’s too expensive to justify, paying $17 for something that feels like it’s just a bit of occasional fun

Good stuff. You can get some of the funniest things from this, having so much fun.

Sucks.. Doesn’t ever do what you want, its a hassle for it to produce even remotely close to what you prompted. “Polaroid photo looking down stairs at a Scary old man in a dimly lit basement eating out of a toilet” produces a random asian guy standing in the middle of the road in broad daylight, not even looking like a polaroid.

Took my money and doesn't work. Subscribed as pro. Apple says I'm subscribed..app says I'm not and restoring purchase doesn't work. Garbage

Bad. It used to work- now no matter what you prompt it shows asian people portraits. I typed empty beach and I get asian portrait. Deleted

Negative daily credit hours on IPod. I cannot update the app because the update only supports IOS 13 and I only have 12. I have not been able to claim the daily credits because I currently have -7146 hours until they replenish.

Make sure you do NOT put in a sexuality. I put in bisexual DO NOT PUT IN BISEXUAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PLS 😭😭😭

Not on target. I never quite get what I ask for in the prompts. If I ask for six of something I get 9 or 1. If I want them to be carrying spears… they have swords. I never quite get what I want.

Images come back blank, wasted credits. Just a gray image returns for half the photos generated

Decent. The app does what it’s supposed to HOWEVER I don’t think the credit stuff should be a thing. It kinda annoys me but overall it’s pretty good. For the people thinking of download in this app: It’s free but you only start with 5credits. The credits allow you to make the art. You can buy credit or wait a while day to receive 5more. This app is good tho

Installed - Opened - Deleted. Installed the application and the first button I tapped it said I was out of credits. I LITERALLY just opened the application within 30 seconds of downloading it and I have to wait 24 hours to see if I can get a free credit to use the free app?

Lots of fun. The app takes some time to get use to, but it’s a lot of fun. I use the free version, so there are 5 credits I can use to build images daily. I look forward to using the app and thinking of fun combinations of prompts to use, and am always a bit sad when I run out of credits!

This app is not working as advertised. It is hard to know how well this app will work. The daily free credits do not register—app keeps asking to return “after 5 a.m.” — this has happened many days in a row.

App needs serious improvement. I want to give this app a good review, but there are so many inconsistencies between the iPad app, the iPhone app, and the website. It’s pretty expensive to use, so I would expect a little better. And the worst part is that I tried to contact support multiple times before writing this review, but there seems to be an error in the chat, and the “App Support” link in the App Store leads to a FAQ with no immediately apparent way to actually talk to someone. I will update my review if things change. A good start would be providing a way to get in touch with devs. Update: I really like the app, and the support staff is pretty nice. However, there are always so many bugs. When curtains ones are fixed, new ones pop up, and they are often significant. I hope it improves, as I like the product and am cheering the Starryai team on.

Credits don’t reappear next day. It’s been 48h and the free credits didn’t reappear.

Good ai app. Beside the daily credits that aren’t a big problem, you can create alot of photo with just 1 credit and get really good quality. Great app

Trash. Complete trash. Don’t waste your time

5 stars. I love it, capable of creating photo-realistic images. Only downside being the occasional ads but otherwise great app

Used to work. No longer functions

Works great!. Took a little bit for me to get the prompts down, but once I did, the app worked amazingly well at illustrating what I wanted

AI. I AI’d it and made my own Ava

Very good. The art this app makes is amazing! You get to publish your art and find inspiration by seeing other people’s creations.

:D. It’s pretty good.

Asians 24/7. They’ve got an asian fetish. Whatever you type you get some asian guy/gal. Deleted.

I really enjoy this app, there is just one problem. I love this app and it is so good it is addicting, but the one problem is, is that (rarely) it will very badly mess up the photo and it has a hard time doing my prompt when it comes to males. Other than that, it is amazing and I love it. I definitely recommend this app. This is the app I have always dreamed of getting. I can make amazing photos with this. Thank you creators and developers for creating this app.

Confusing. This game is bad it does not work with out a login and it’s also confusing how to get it to work do not recommend

Super good. Lots of great styles and the freedom to input most things although semi explicit texts can’t be inputed which for me kinda ruined it a little but the app is still good

Credit. If you dont have any credit and you already watch a ad and you dont want to ruin your social media account if its not of the « picture > type

Fantastic and so creative. Just with text prompts you can create amazing art and it’s super cool

Uninhibited. Very accurate and easy to use. Incredible.

Amazing but not perfect.. As much as I love the app especially the remove from image feature I’d also like a priority option in the evolve feature. It’s driving me bonkers with some of the projects keep using a Color on specific part of the clothing that I don’t want and get it to remove it. To explain it better I’m using it to make dnd character art with an anime style. The sorcerer I’m working on has a green robes and cape with gold highlights and white pants under but it keeps adding white to the chest of the character and despite the remove from image feature it won’t stop adding white to the chest. I’d like a priority option for KEEP the chest green.

Man. Not really “free” as you need to make an account before you can do anything. Deleted.

Nothing works. I don’t understand how this app had so many stars considering nothing works when you purchase credits or the pro version. It’s a scam. I contacted the team and they literally were of no help at all. Don’t buy this, beware

Won’t open. I have over 300 credits and now it won’t open it sits and spins !!!

Love it so much!. The best AI app I’ve tried esp. create your own style which has changed the game for me personally but what I really love is the community that I get to be a part of. Hands down the best (discord) community hosting fun challenges and events! Feels like part of a fam.

Great app, but.... Let me start by saying I love this app. It is definitely one of the very few top environments for creating ai art. Room for improvement: 1. Please, for the love of (insert someone important to you here), make a proper iPad version. 2. The editors enforce a Max prompt length. It would be fantastic to have an indicator for how close to the limit you are, including what that limit is, e.g. 427/600 3. It would also be great to support longer prompts (or multiple prompts, ala NightCafe Studio)

For the boys. Don’t put in pansexual (wink wink)

Impressed. It’s better than I expected and for the most part free to use. You can make a couple pictures per day for free but if you want to make more than 20 a day you need to buy credits. It’s accurate and makes cool images

Best ai app on the app store. So I’ve been playing around with the app and it is stunningly good. I must say I have tried a handful of other apps and none of them could produce such good useable renditions. It may not be the cheapest but it is ,by far ,the actual best.

Best I’ve used. I adore this app! Please don’t change a thing. It is perfection, just the way it is!

Pretty good. Love using this app just doesn’t load at the moment just stays on a white screen when I try to open

Noice. Very interesting and different. Much faster then building and spending hours if not days rendering.

Robbed me!!. I think the app is great. If I could get a subscription in would. Can’t so I logged in every day to get the free ones. Had about 200 credits saved up and they just deleted my account for no reason.

Very good. This app is much better than the other AI image creator.

Crap. App? CRAP!

Amazing. Best app for generation!

Login problem. Whoever coded this app should be fired. Can't even login without error messages. Tried multiple times. Gave up. Using Leonardo and Eluna

I love this so much. I learned about starryai from a sleepover at my friend’s house and when I got home I immediately went to the computer and looked for starryai. It took me a while to find it but now I love it and use it all the time to create photos for books that I wright, if one of them gets published one day, I’ll give part of the money to starryai because it would mostly be because of them.

Astounding results. It’s as if it can read my mind. I love the diversity of the prompts and how as a professional artist can get so much more done in a day with this tool.

Losing credits fast. App used to work fine but now dings me anywhere from 6 to 15 free credits where it’s only supposed to cost 1. It’s like they’re trying to strong arm me into buying credits. Contact support doesn’t work (of course).Time to try out another AI app.

Impressed. Created a few, very accurate as compared to the same prompts on other platforms. Understands keyed script well, amazing HD results, High quality Anime-very happy. Does have NSFW filter on keywords which is ok, so if you are expecting full blown and unfiltered, plenty of other platforms out there that offer it if that is your thing. Will still generate suggestive art, which if far superior in my opinion. The ads for points are not overbearing and a great idea. Paid gets you all the styles available, points. Would recommend this platform

It not bad. I’ve had nothing but good things to say about this is giving me a lot of good material and all the images are nice but for a while now I don’t know where it happened but it’s been glitching out saying that I can’t make anything because I have no credit but last time I checked I had over 60 and it’s not letting me use any of that and also I got rid of all my account and all that and even weird so if you it doesn’t glitch, it’s really good but if it does yeah no you’re not gonna have a good day works on PC though

Superior AI Artist…. As a failed artist I am glad that AI can begin replacing the creatives of this world and enable more people to take on the role of useful servitors for our 1% masters. Now we can be free to toil endlessly without the messy distraction of creativity… In all seriousness it is very interesting seeing how a non-human mind interprets these ideas and paradigms. If a machine can make art, then can it have a soul? Tolstoy would have nightmares.

Disappointing. I wish I could screenshot the pictures I got using the exact same prompts as the examples. They were horrible and blurred. And the first one I did with no picture uploaded showed complete nudity. This worries me because what if a kid saw that? Is there not a way to restrict that? I’m giving it 2 stars because theirs a strong possibility that I was supposed to do something different besides follow what it seemed to tell me to do. It’s just the way the pictures came out. Just terrible. I have a couple more credits so I’ll try again. And if it’s better I’ll update this review for sure.

Subscriptions. I love this app. It’s so creative and such a fun way to see what masterpieces you can create based off of what you type. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interring AI software or anyone who loves art in general. My only gripe is the cost. You get addicted to this app quick and it would be very convenient if there was a subscription. Other than that, the app is great! Definitely worth a download.

Ok, but needs improvement. Pretty decent overall, but doesn’t do well producing accurate images from American history. Doesn’t produce good images of guns, cannons, or American historical military uniforms. Also makes a lot of mistakes on hands and feet creating extra digits or just plain weird disfigured limbs. At times it seams to completely ignore some important words in prompts and does pretty much what it wants to do rather than creating what you actually describe. Has promise, but definitely needs improvement in the these areas.

Absolutely Amazing.. This app opens up a whole new world for art. 🔑 Key likes: 🔑 - Green servers ✅ 🔑 - Copyrights of the artworks are yours to keep! (if the original image content was yours) 🔏 🔑 - Team makes updates and tries to enhance overall usability ⭐️ 🔑 - Support available 💎 🔑 - Incredibly sophisticated AI art generator with a plethora of art styles to choose from 🤯 It enables those who’s art is confined within their minds to need only use their words to bring that art to a form that is expressible, and it does so quickly, easily, and adaptably. ✨ I didn’t get paid to write this review, I’ve just used this app a lot and I must give credit where it’s due. This app rocks and to the people who built it, kudos & thank you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 🐠❤️🌍

Thrive! Don’t download. They just ripped me off , worst rip-off app on apple or anywhere I paid 12 bucks n they let me process on darn image biggest rip off on EARTH I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS APP BEWARE!! You will have your money methodically stolen. What a scam. N pictures it generated was lousy and just a dumb cartoonist looking and unlike what I described. I have 8 othe Al generator apps this one is designed for one purpose confuse and steal hour money as fast as it can BEWARE! I’m filing a fraud report with apple now! And don’t buy the outrageous early subscription for any reason it will cost you hundreds of dollars and do very obnoxious stupid crappy images slower than dialup RUN AND DELETE THIS SCAM APP AS FAST AS YOU CAN I HATE THIS APP

WARNING: THIS APP CONSTANTLY ACCESSED YOUR CAMERA. I kept having my phone severely overheating every time I had it opened and couldn't figure out why. Until today, when I started hearing the camera shutter sound every 1-2 seconds non-stop. The sound only happened with the app open, and after removing access to the camera the sound stopped. UPDATE 17 DEC 2023: The app continues to cause severe overheating of my phone. Given that the images are generated on their servers and not on my phone, this suggests malicious activity going on. Reporting this app as malware.

AI Art Generator. I love this app! I’ve been working on a novel for years and this generator inspires me by taking my thoughts, customizing them with other artists styles and presenting me with a picturesque idea that I draw inspiration from, especially for settings and character descriptions. I love the anticipation waiting for the generator to come up with something after I enter the prompts and styles I want.

Step backwards. Please allow us the option to keep images created from the same prompt in one "file" for lack of a better word. The new layout makes it harder to compare renders. Remix now seems to be running the image through the ai model in a weird way, making the results far less similar. Also, trying to change the strength removes the starting image when remixing

Fun and useful. For a free ai app (that you can purchase in app credits if you choose to) this is amazing! Once you create the image, you own the rights, which is Very Important as an NFT artist! Sometimes you get something wildly different than what you were hoping for, which is to be expected of ai. Sometimes you get something beyond what you could have imagined! I’ve created an entire NFT page just from my Starryai creations, and people Love It!!

Love it & phenomenal support. Love the app. Having the ability to refine the art just improves each update. I especially love taking my own art and tweaking it. App support is A++. Had a mishap where I somehow wasn’t signed in & bought the paid version (lowest tier bc I’m poor 🤣). When I realized I wasn’t signed in then did so, the paid options ran away. Did chat support and Autumn was phenomenal in getting it all figured out. 😊☺️

Really cool app. There’s really not another app like this and it generates images pretty well. The only downsides are only getting 5 free pics a day and some things you type in will give you very mundane images. The app also doesn’t put a watermark on the images you generate which is a pretty cool feature.

Bugs. Great app that keeps getting better and better!! I love it so much, thank you for the daily free credits! Just a couple of bugs I’ve noticed since the recent update… When going to enter prompt; if you click on the randomize 🔀 button the screen turns white and buttons disappear. The same thing also happens when trying to switch out of ‘Argo’ mode. Adding to my review…. I’m really starting to not like the updates. I liked the old version much better.

Nice framework, many problems. It takes so much effort to get what you want, and for it to look good, I recommend using it as a reference image generator for making actual art Also, I can’t log out. I have to delete the account tied to my google account to access my apple account which has all my old stuff from before I had to get a new phone due to numerous problems with it. So I guess there goes some actually useful things I had, plus I have to wait a full day to access my stuff and daily credits I built up

Great for references for OC art. I have been using this app to generate art of my OCs for references. And it hits more than misses. My only gripe is that at times I’ll type into the prompt “X skin color” or “X eye color” and no matter what I do, no matter how many different styles I use, it doesn’t always catch. I think a great addition would be for a search function for the different styles, like if I’m going for a more specific fantasy style vs a retro or cyberpunk style, rather than just scrolling endlessly.

fun and easy but could use some features. i like that the app gives you 2 extra credits over the daily 5 (by watching adds) versus the web version (where you only get 5). i like that the app lets you delete the individual variations you dont like. really wish that feature was on the web version too. this app could really use a few improvements: when upscaling and then deleting images in the app(after saving them elsewhere on my phone), the app takes up more and more space after a while. even after deleting everything i see the app taking up almost a gig! the only way to remedy is to delete the app and reinstall. i have a phone with not a lot of space (thanks apple for such a bloated os!) so if there's one improvement, please make this app cleanup itself behind the scenes better. it would also be great if you could have the option to download all upscales at once instead of having to do them one at a time. and have each upscale have the prompt in the filename to (like in the website version). and also the option to include the source image, if any (that would be great for future iterating). besides all that, im loving playing with stary app on the go. mainly for art for my bandcamp or soundcloud pages. cheers!

Wonderful App!. I love that you can put your original work into the app. For artists, it is a powerful tool to expand your creative outlook. I was hesitant to try this. But I have found it to be very productive, even as a time killer. Better than scrolling through the garbage on many apps.

Excellent aside from glitches. The app is amazing and it makes top notch pictures most of the time or something you get average and weird pics, but it costs one point per image generating but glitches sometimes and takes points away after you used it a sometimes there’s no photo and you can’t get these points back you have to buy more.

TOO MUCH FUN. Can’t wait to try out Argo. This is about to get exciting. I love feeding images to refine the results. Can’t help myself with this one, I’m about to generate like 10 K images and choose a few to have printed on an acrylic mount. This is SO fun. Thank you Starryai, I’m gonna be printing shirts, all kinds of crazy stuff. I did not expect AI to get this good, this fast.

Does not heed prompts. I’ve used this app and explored this app for months. I’ve read another reviewer who raved about this app. I’ve not had such luck. For example — I entered the prompt “orchids” expecting the flowering plant. I got an Asian young woman — no flowers. I changed the prompt to orchid blossoms. I got an Asian young woman with a blouse with an orchid design. I gave the prompt “black Angel” I got a man but no wings. I added prompt “ with wings” this was ignored. The other reviewer was amazed at the scene he got when using “peace at last”. So I type in peace at last. I got an Asian woman. I typed in “war at last”. I got an Asian woman. I typed in “War torn town” I got an Asian woman with perfect buildings behind her. I went to the basics — typed in “horse” and yes I got a horse. So I typed in “flowers” thinking maybe “orchids” was too beyond apps ability. I got an Asian young woman— no flowers in the picture. If I wanted an Asian woman to be the subject, that would have been in my prompt. Maybe if I typed in “Asian young woman” I will get the orchid flowers I wanted.

GREAT APP. lots of fun features & overall a 5 star from me… the only bug that needs fixed is when creating a photo the AI face comes out a bit mis-formed & likes to cut the face out of the frame…. But other than that I love the app and recommend to anyone who wants to let their imagination go wild without having to have a dumb membership

Fun but some app issues. This is pretty quick and fun to use to make pretty pictures, get ideas, whatever people do with ai art! I have a few hangs/slow times that don’t bother me because I assume it’s due to server time/activity, but - dev team please note - the exit X at the end of ads is under the clock on my my iPhone 14 display and I can’t exit without force quitting.

Buggy app since the latest update. This app used to work really well but since the latest major update, it is constantly crashing and won’t refresh. I reinstalled the app several times and frequently force quit, but it doesn’t help. It is now more frustrating to use rather than fun. I pay for a subscription which makes it even more maddening.

Best AI Art App. I tried em all. I wanted a cheap one that does a good job - this app lets you earn free daily credits, has an active discord community with weekly art competitions, and is overall just so much better than all of the other apps out there. It’s probably the most expensive subscription service but quite frankly if you love using AI to help with your artistic processes - THIS is the app you need.

First Review Worthy. I have never done an app review since i’ve had an iPhone. But this app? It’s made me actually do one. I just got it and honestly amazed with the app and the results. There’s plans you can do, but not absolutely required to do anything which is amazing. Don’t hesitate or overthink it. It’s pretty easy to use and as the title states, it’s worth checking out at least!

One of the better ai apps. I thoroughly enjoy this app however one of the best parts of it has been removed! Please put the randomize option back! That feature was so much fun and great for inspiration when you’re unsure of what to create. Overall it’s a great app, occasionally crashes but not that big of a deal. Honestly if you put the random button back on it would make this a 5star app

So cool!. Only giving four stars because I’ve noticed that I only get the “2 credits daily” occasionally. It hasn’t really been an issue because I bought the 40 credit pack soon after downloading, but now that my credits are dwindling Im concerned that this problem will continue. I may try to delete the app or something to fix the problem. Otherwise, beautiful artwork and so fun!

Yes, you have to pay. A few things should get a a review immediately removed: 1. Complaining you have to pay (in-app purchases means you do but see my comments about figuring out what the listed prices mean). 2. Fury that your account is still charged even though you deleted the app. (The store charges you, not the app.) 3. Nonsense blathering. If you don’t want Apple to ask you to leave a review change your settings so it won’t. Everyone should explore their iOS settings. I’m tired of trying to interpret the cost of in-app purchases before I buy so (or download free) so by default I’ll remove 1 star when those are clear as mud or don’t match what I find in the app. The results are quite pedestrian so I’m not sure if this is worth the mystery cost.

Cool app. It was fun to try the app out and choose a style and theme, but the fact that you don’t get credits unless you share it within very narrow parameters is a bummer. And that without a $15 subscription, you only get to make two pieces of art. It doesn’t make me want to subscribe or encourage others to use it. Nice idea, but not enough for $15. If you could earn a credit a day or something like that it might be worth it to play around for a bit to see if I want to invest. But as it is, no.

Can’t save projects. App is good and works well, but I can’t keep any of my creations in project folders. Whenever I try to add my images to a project, the selection is all scrambled, blank or doubles of certain pictures. Other times, my images in the project appear scrambled, blank or doubled. It caused me to accidentally delete images I wanted to keep because it would display a different creation over the ones I wanted to keep or delete.

Pretty cool so far. Well this is going to be different. Ok- I adore the app. I have some how created a few really lovely things. I want to learn more. I’m going to attempt studying the app. What I find difficult is the user friendly instructions. I am neurodivergent. I’m all over the place just talking in bits and pieces. I know it’s not your job to make it easier. I’m appreciative for what you’ve set up. I just wish I knew what exactly I am doing as well as what my abilities may be with it.

It’s great but…. So I’ve had this app for about a week or two and I’ve had some problems. First with the positives this app is great for making the art and that you get free points every day. But my problem is that you can’t delete the images I’ve tried and the only way that happened was deleted the app and reinstalling it. And no I didn’t try to make any sus images it sometimes doesn’t come out good or it does come out sus.

best ai app. I only typed in "dog" as a prompt and it looked like a real image. There were no flaws. The ai is fantastic. I am not a fan of the credit system, but 1 credit makes 4 images and credits are easy to earn via ads. 9/10 almost perfect ai, free version is awesome EDIT: After using the app for longer, I wish there was no limit to how many credits you can earn via ads per day. 20 seems like enough plus the 5 daily credits, but I wish you could earn more by just watching ads.

Great app, retouch feature glitched. The text to image generation works great! The retouch feature used to be great as well. Unfortunately, after the new update, the retouch feature appears to be glitched. “Residue” from the underlying images appears overtop the ai generated portion. This problem creates weird, blurry, and unrealistic images. This renders the retouch feature essentially useless, which is a real shame considering it was one of the most unique aspects of starry.

It’s ok. 1: the free coins do not magically appear. You have to click on the coins and it will take you to the area to buy coins. At that spot you click on free coins to get your free coins. 2: wondering how much of this is AI drawn or a set of pics in a data base that are picked from. I did a couple different topics and the same person keeps popping up in different style outfits and hair styles. Does match the subject I put in. 3: fun though for a limited time.

Best ai art generator I’ve used. I’ve used a handful of art generators but I always come back to starryai. The styles are really good, and now that users can publish their trained styles for everyone else to use there are tons more to choose from. I love that you can remove background, retouch, upscale and magic enhance in the app! Some things in the app are a bit buggy but the devs are very responsive and eventually these bugs get improved. I use it everyday!

Love the app but is pretty glitchy.. I love seeing what the ai will do with my prompts to the point where I run out of credits fast lol. But that’s not the problem, it’s the earning part that is. When I try to add my twitter, TikTok, or instagram @, it takes me to a white screen where I cannot do anything. I have to restart the app and when I return to that panel, it shows that I never put in my social media handle.

A four year old would follow instructions better.. It produces some well rendered images, but they have almost nothing to do with what was requested in the prompt. Even introducing a starter image won’t help. When asked to do something simple, like “Sasquatch sipping a can of Pabst beer” it might produce a lumberjack bearded man in a blue denim shirt, or a plaster gargoyle on a stump, or a gorilla with a clothed human body holding a can with nonsense non-words on the can. If you ask for Trump’s face with a pig nose, it just draws a pig head. I can’t find any way to make it even marginally useful, it has NEVER done what was requested in the prompt. Human artists have no fear of being replaced any time soon, these apps have zero comprehension.

Fun app, but DO NOT get a Pro subscription. The app is really fun, actually, and you can create some great art with it. In that regard, I think it’s worth it. Unfortunately, the pro subscription is really misleading. It describes itself 5 free credits a day plus 50 initial credits for a total of 200 credits (50 + (5 x 30))… however, you lose the normal 5 free daily credits that you get anyway with the app. In other words… It’s just the 50 credits plus the normal freebies. Apparently the pro credits accumulate, unlike the daily credits (which cap at 5, so you need to use ‘em or lose ‘em), but if you’re spending them daily like me… It’s identical to playing for free. x_x Anyway, the app is fun, but this extremely misleading subscription really annoyed me. ;_; Wanted to warn others and hopefully save y’all some cash.

My favorite, easiest to use AI generation suite. Painless, but deceptively useful for generating content for many purposes. At first I was skeptical of AI art flooding the internet, now I’m most definitely on board thanks in large part to Starryai. Curious to see where this exciting new tech takes us. All the companies pushing boundaries offer some unique options but this one just happened to click for me.

Interesting. It’s great seeing how far technology has come, I’m at a lost for words. I’m more curious about how AI would get in the future but Star Trek brings up a great point. There will be a time we need to bring up rights because the line really starts to blur from just an app with programming and another human. I would really like to thank the AI personally 👍

Best AI App. It is just like every ai generated art app, “Original”. Feed it a prompt, some images, artstyle, and your email. You get only four tries, but whyyy stop here. Sign for the pro subscription to get more! No hassle of waiting 5 days until 5 am to get 5 credits. The starter package starts cheaply at $1.99/week with 50credits for 200 image generation. Ads-free experience. Don’t forget to join their discord for useful tips.

pretty bad now. !Was! a great app for inspiration! You got a decent amount of credits each day, and with the simple selection it actually created works that were great inspo! Was my favorite app for the last month! Now, you only get 1 artwork per submission, endless glitches to my saved artworks, and screens telling me I’ve done too many creations and to come back later! (Even if I haven’t even done 1 yet!) Best of all, the one artwork I do get is awfully made and LOOKS like a robot did it. Very dissapointing coming from what used to be generated. Terrible app now, but used to be great! wish I could un-update but nope! You guys did it! :)!

Pretty awful ad-driven experience. I purchased a 3-month pro as a test but stopped using this platform because the results were just melted garbage. Now, I have a bunch of credits that I have paid for, and it still shows a 30 second ad before it lets me queue the job using my paid credits. As of today, I can also no longer use other aspect ratios using credits I paid for without an active subscription. This app is junk. Buy a sub to MidJourney or Dall-E for more affordable options that are not secretly ad generators.

First ai app downloaded on my phone. I am absolutely in love with the option of creating on my phone along with my computer. I love the fact that I can create from my phone instantly because let’s face it, creativity and art happens when it wants to and this way I can create it instantly

When it works, it really works. WHEN it works.. This app started out with such promise. Everything it made was so lifelike. But over time it began to listen to the prompts less and less. It’ll make decisions about the landscape, about character’s hair color or shape, or it’ll go off the rails completely and do something entirely unrelated to what you asked for altogether. It creates extremely realistic imaginary that bares no resemblance to what you prompted it to create.

Will ban without warning.. Despite the fact that the program will produce somewhat erotic / violent imagery, there appears to be inconsistencies in the application of banning for breaking protocol. Only after being banned was I told that images should be something my grandmother would have worn to the beach back in the day. This is difficult to understand when you can easily find images that break these rules on any given day. Nothing in their rules appears to apply to non-public images, but it appears they will ban for personal images as well. The generator is pretty good, but not nearly good enough for how expensive the service is. $$$$

I love, love, love, love this app!!!. I write short moral stories for children and inspirational thought digital posts for anyone. When necessary I do take my own photographs. I often think of pictures that I have trouble explaining to graphic artists. This app is fabulous! I type in what I am thinking of without a lot of verbiage and this app creates it in living color. It is a tad expensive but I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Kudos to the creators of it!!!

Used to be great - quality has slipped badly recently. Not sure what happened but this app went from really cool to kind of garbage. Maybe free accounts get lower priority but I’ve had prompts that never return any images even though it’s taken credits. Images are now really unimpressive compared to a few months ago. I’m not sure what happened but this app has slipped quite a bit. There are so many AI art generators out there and this one had potential but it seems to be slipping. Update - STILL IS HORRIBLE. With all the AI advancements this app gets worse by the minute.
