Why. Netflix, why did you make a game for Twelve Year Olds only for it to be restricted from the start because we aren’t signed in to Netflix. I really want to play this game again because I played it before and I never had this problem.

Cash grab is lame. The game itself is pretty cool (the reason for 2 stars and not 1), but the cash grab of needing a Netflix to login is too lame to excuse. It’s not like there’s any updates (content wise), so changing it to having to login instead of leaving it to be free for everyone is pointless IMO

Great game. Huge fan of the show and the game I have finished the game three or four times already and I uninstall it and re-download it so I can play it all over again!!!!

For Netflix. Literally can’t play with out a Netflix how stupid is that. If this isn’t a cash grab i don’t know what is. The fact Netflix is a multi million dollar company and forces people to buy Netflix but releasing a game that was originally free but now u have to pay or have an account. And not to mention the game hasn’t changed since it came out

Ugh…. The game was fine at first, but I got confused and frustrated throughout the whole game! When ur getting hit by the guards, why can’t u move or run away? You HAVE to die and start again. I think this game will need some changes.

Awesome retro throwback back to thye 80's.. Great game like Nintendo. Hints of Zelda and 40+ % through the game and a little Paperboy going on. They appear to be using the same sounds from Super Mario with the coin abd heart grabs. There some issues with finding out what to do next. There is quite a bit of returning back to where you have been before because you have a character abd their unique powers. The game is free with Netflix. This is a great added benefit to the subscription! Really enjoying the game.

The best mobile game of 2017. This is the best mobile game of 2017. This got me into the stranger things series, and Stranger Things 3 The Game. Every person who rated this 2 or 1 star has an insane skill issue because this game is easy yet fun. I spent months trying to get to 100% on normal AND classic modes. In conclusion, this game deserves it's rightful name as the best mobile game of 2017. Love this, Netflix.

Very very very very wonderful game!. Tho there could be one small very small change. Can you make it so that 11 can crawl through pipes? And make it so that there isn’t a Netflix login, there’s some people complaining about it.

Uninspiring. Doesn’t feel like much care was put into this game. In one area, there is a coffee table on a wall, which appears to be an accidental oversight by the development team. The looping game music doesn’t loop smoothly. The controls aren’t real controls at all. You tap on points of interest on the screen, and the avatar navigates to that point automatically. The only thing I appreciate about this game is the visual style. Everything else is just a poor experience.

Issues. I like the game a lot but when I close it out on my phone and then open it back up later, I have to redo quests that I’ve already done or fight bosses I’ve already beat. I always save my progress in order to continue where I left off but it doesn’t make a difference.

Should not be for only Netflix members only. Idk if this Netflix thing was added a couple months or weeks ago but I don’t like it.I have beat this game 3-4 times already and uninstalled it and did it again bc it’s so fun but I just tried to download it again but I don’t have Netflix so I can’t play the game so I don’t like the Netflix member only

Really fun! Except……. This game is so much fun! Except I am stuck on level two and I can’t seem to pass it. Other wise this game is really fun and it is really cute because you can get the characters and they look exactly like they do in the show!

Amazing modernized 90s game. I had so much fun playing this adventure game and I haven’t even watched the latest season of stranger things. In fact, I don’t think you even need to know much about the series to have fun playing this game. Would recommend for anyone looking for the old dungeon adventure game with an updated feel.

Love this game so much! Must play if you're fans of the series.. When I first played this game in 2017, I haven't watched the series, but I still enjoyed the game so much that I spent 8 hours to pass it and collect all the staff.... 5 years passed, this game is still in my phone(my phone is 64GB just let you know…… I started to watch the series this year, and be more understandable to the characters and the content it had🥺 Its like the combination of season 1 and season 2, and would bring out so many memories when you played the game! Dustin use Putins as weapon haha, Chef use his fist to defeat the enemies🤣 I passed classic and normal mode as 100%..definitely you will enjoy the game if you're fans of the series or like to collecting things in games

Fixes. The game is good its just the van boss fight the movement is really glitchy like i move up it goes up and then do for no reason I just want that to be fix thats it.

The best mobile game I’ve ever played. I downloaded this game with low expectations, being a fan of Stranger Things but not expecting much from a free mobile game. I was completely blown out of the water though! The sheer amount of detail, hidden collectibles and Easter eggs, the unique characters and gameplay, and all of it for free! This is a game that I would actually have paid for on a console; it is definitely worth playing!

Some tips for updates. I love the game but I think 11 should have a cool down time after 5 or so attack to make it more realistic to the show and because she is a little over powered it whould be nice for her to have a draw back

One of my favorites! (Spoilers). This game is so good! I love the dynamics and how you can explore anywhere once you’ve unlocked enough characters. My favorite level was sneaking in the library with Dustin! I loved that dynamic! The game is challenging but once you beat the game, you feel accomplished!

Netflix login ruins the game as a whole. I remembered that this game exists and when I tried to play it… I need a Netflix login. It’s so stupid considering years ago when I played the game, you didn’t need a Netflix login to play it. Do I have a Netflix account? Yes. Do I want to login with it? No. Just the implementation of the login makes it seem like Netflix is doing so much just for a few extra subscription for their site, which is just filled with shovelware and like 7 good shows and movies. Oh, and if you do decide to play the game: Spoiler alert, from my memory, the character you get for collecting all the waffles is pretty bad being that you can travel to other places. USING THE KIDDIE POOLS, THAT DOESN’T EVEN TELL YOU WHAT THE DESTINATION IS.

Amazing game. I usually only post when I have issues but this is by far nextflix’s best game right now. 11/10. So fun!

Netflix account login ruins awesome game. I played this game before and I loved it, but when I went to download and play it again it’s asking me to log into my Netflix account to be able to play. I remember before how awesome it was that the game had no ads, no cash grabs, just a great retro style game that promoted a show. Now I just feel like having you login cuts off access to quite a few people that could have enjoyed the game without being a current Netflix subscriber.

It’s great for the most part. It’s awesome at the beginning unlocking new characters but at the end and once you have done all the levels it kinda gets boring cause there are only like 7 levels so I wish there were more levels but other than that I think it’s a great game

Pay to play now?. I used to love this game back in 2018 when I had first played it, I finished the game 3 times even, now, 4 years later I have came back cuz U wanna feel some nostalgia, but now you NEED a Netflix subscription to play??? I don’t have one now mainly because I’m a broke college student but I like playing games to get my mind off things, why did they make it pay to play???

I love It is such a fun game. The Stranger Things game is one of the funnest games I’ve ever played it doesn’t have any ads but the one thing I don’t like about it is that you run out of ammo like every 30 seconds

What is happening. On chapter one I can’t finish the game because I have to defeat three people in the game what’s I’m done unlocking the red gate or whatever but I searched the gameplay and they are three people that I had to defeat do I have to purchase the app?

A good game. No controller supported, but I gave it a second chance on the iPad Pro and it is an excellent game. I play it with the stylus. It reminds me of GameBoy. Excellent sounds, I love it.

It’s good!. This game is a great game! It can be hard and difficult but it’s addicting. I find myself spending 15-30 mins if not longer playing it. I do get frustrated when I can’t beat a level and quite for a while but I always come back to the game.

Two games with same title?. So I loved the Stranger Things The Game (the one that had a game cartridge as an icon). Checked back on the App Store and found this. It’s the same game, but with a different app picture and a subscription to Netflix is required to play. What happened? Luckily I can still play the other version of the app (but it’s no longer offered on the App Store).

Great for 80s and Stranger Things lover’s. I actually thought I would hate the game but I don’t. It’s not at all conon and is loosely based on the stranger things story but it’s still very fun. I love it’s retro feel and really adds to the game. I’m only about 60% and already finished the story but it was a great deal of fun. I know for some of your mad at how you need a Netflix account but personally I own Netflix and yea I know it’s expensive but most own it and it’s worth it. But overall this game is a nice and challenging puzzle action game that’s great for just playing for a bit. And it’s stranger things the best show ever!

Why. Look I want to play the game and I have a Netflix account but I’m a child I can not play I like the show and want to play the game but I did not know you had to login with it plus my dad is the one who owns the account so I can not and I do not want to ask him so this is just not fair

just as good as watching the season!. im not the biggest gamer at all but i absolutely demolished this game i was so obsessed. i started on a family vacation to europe, and ended on a different vacation the following year. (something about airplanes makes me want to watch stranger things idk.) flayed billy sucked that took so long but i finally figured it out. its all about counting how many attacks between each cool down. the carnival scene was also pretty crazy. anyways, im watching the season right now and im pretending like it was based off of this game. so fun so fun

I love this game but the only problem I have is that earlier I was playing this and I kept messing up and Lucas’s rocks went to 0 and I can’t change it and whenever I reset or die on the game there is still 0 rocks and I really need them to get Nancy and I don’t wanna restart the game because I been on this game for hours and I just need help but this game is still alright

No. I used to love this game and play it all the time. I re-downloaded the game today for nostalgia and when I opened the app I was greeted with “log into Netflix account”. This wasn’t a thing before, so I’m very upset seeing as this was my favorite game a couple years ago. I will always and forever hate greedy companies.

I love this game but please update it. With seasons 3 and 4 being out, I feel like this game should be updated (if that’s not being worked on already) to have more adventures and characters from the newer seasons! Since most people have already completed the game and there’s not much to do it would be really cool to have more stuff

Best mobile game available…bar none!. If you grew up playing Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past on the SNES, this game will AMAZE you! It is almost like it is a mod of the old school 8 and 16 bit Zelda games on the NES and SNES. The parallels to the SNES Zelda Link To The Past game are innumerable. It has identical mechanics, gameplay, and is almost like it is running on the very same engine. That doesn’t mean the game lacks originality. It has its own story and characters that are all from the Stranger Things show. It takes you back to a very nostalgic era of gameplay in the same way the show takes you back to a nostalgic era of horror films. 20 out of 10!!!

Best game. This game is amazing, it can be confusing at some times but it’s awesome. It takes the old pixel games with a wonderful tv show. I can’t wait to beat the game.

I screwed my self. I love this game but in one of the missions you need ammo for your sling shot and you need to not kill the rat i not knowing this did both of those things and now i have to restart the entire game because im stuck

Fun game and a nice interactive stranger things adventure. I’m mostly here to reply to the dumb one star reviews people gave this game, first one says you need a Netflix account to play, it literally says it when you download the game, it makes sense Netflix wants this game to be part of their subscription service, the second one I saw was a one star review because they “COULDNT HEAR SOUND” if there is no sound on a game you might want to take a star off but definitely not rate it a one star, also, there’s a little switch on top of your volume buttons. Anyway this game was incredible but some idiots are bringing the 5 star rating down

One of the best games I have ever played. Absolutely amazing choice of art style was great and the game as a whole was just fun to play and when I wanted to play something and I only had two minutes I would just go to this game immediately.

First impressions good.. This game spares no expense. By expense I mean it doesn't sacrifice the 21st century needs of players that have full time jobs. The game seems fun to accomplish goals and straightforward when asking myself what should I do next. Put some time aside to enjoy this and you will for sure.

Good Idea, Bad execution. If you are looking for a stranger things game wich follows the tv shows plot beat for beat this is not the game for you. The games story is dumb and some levels are very repetitive.

Good game but won’t save progress between devices.. The only downside is that the progress doesn’t seem to save on the Netflix account. I played one hour on my iPhone then downloaded it on my iPad to continue to play but I had to start from beginning.

Pretty good. A well made game. completed in about 5 and a half hours so quite a bit of content and fun to be had. Never felt like it was dragging on or like one section was too annoying to complete. Just the perfect amount of difficulty where you get to feel like your actually solving something but not too hard that you wanna give up.

I cant move forward in the game. I used a keycard to unlock a cage and apparently that was the one I needed to move forward in the game by opening another door. There is not 2 keycards, just the one. And I was supposed to open the cage with a switch. Why does it even work??

Tentacle hydra. This game is really fun and amazing but the tentacle hydra is really hard to beat the 3rd and final stage is really hard maybe if these levels weren’t as hard that would be amazing

Error Codes. Tried logging in multiple times with my existing Netflix login with no success. I double-checked user name and password, but I continued to receive error NGP-6002 and when I searched the Help center, Netflix didn’t show anything related. Gave up and deleted the useless app.

Used to be lit. Great game but it’s now behind the paywall of needing a Netflix account. It was fun when it was free and have a Netflix. Excluding people from the free games is a long term L, I would literally prefer to get those annoying full screen ads every 2 minutes on other developers games.
