Great game with some fixable flaws. The Good: Solid and immersive gameplay. Graphics. Progression system with ships from other games and abilities. Relative touch/Classic control styles. The Bad: Easily the biggest things holding this game back are two-fold; 1) Relative touch is the most efficient control scheme but iPad/iPhone constantly tries to swipe UP and minimize the game. Need a way to disable the swipe bar. Also having finger on screen/ship blocks view and gets you killed in higher levels. 2) Progression for ships is insanely slow and monotonous. Single mechanic for unlocking ships via destroying the satellites is tiring and, well, SLOW. Game needs alternate method for new ships and higher ship levels. Add flexibility to the game and you have 5 Stars.

Great fun to had.. This is a great classic arcade shooter with modern additions that bring a lot of replay value, motivation to grind and get better, and a whole lot of satisfaction when you are able to achieve a great run or finish a hard challenge stage. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Explosion. I absolutely love this game it’s amazing but sometimes after a round my ship explodes and I have no ship so I just go to my hanger and select a different ship then select that ship and the ship reappear in the home. also 150 credits is to much for the pac man ship. I played the old game. This game is a great remake of it.

Original graphics was better. Idk why but the sector selection graphics on this look much more worse than the original on this the Galaga fighter ship is chasing the the aliens instead of trying to shoot them down the original was much more detailed than this…. I’m spending my money for Apple Arcade for a game that isn’t HD enough

Awesome revision of the original! Very addictive. This title in the Galaga series has to be one of the most polished and repayable games of them, the unlockables give you something to work towards, and is very challenging.

They’ve managed to screw this game up.. I’ve been playing this game for years, so much so that I’m in the top 200 on the global leaderboards, so it pains me to write this review. This game is now terrible, as the developers, likely under pressure from Apple Arcade to keep updating the game (just a guess), have added a stupid crab boss that is so buggy, it makes the game unplayable. The crab boss is dumb even if it wasn’t full of bugs that breaks the game, but the fact that it breaks the game should be a nonstarter.

Galaga. Better than I thought it was gonna be, really good way to pass the time by you have to kill.

Just like the good ol days. Takes me back to when I was a kid, running up to the corner store or over to the arcade to play Galaxian and later Galaga. I’m also glad they brought this to 🍎Arcade..

80’ baby. Used to go to the laundry mat with my mom and we would each get one quarter to play the original Galaga I eventually got good enough to get a higher score than my mom. She died in 2013 but she would have love to see this version of our favorite game. Miss you Melva Lynn Colbert I’m still playing Galaga thinking of my wonderful childhood with the best mom ever love you mom and this game kicks

Another way to spend credits. Would be nice to have another way to spend. Once you have all the ships maxed you just have a bunch of coins and credits. Maybe have it where you can buy paint or accessories or bullet colors

It is heating my iPad too much forcing to turn off and on. I love this game but the latest release have something that over heat my iPad so much that makes too hot to hold the iPad to play. Please do something… Thanks

Retro Fun with a Modern twist. In short, Galaga is a wormhole of fun that'll have you warping back to the 80s faster than you can say "warp drive." So, buckle up, grab your joystick, and prepare for a nostalgic adventure that's out of this world!

Have always loved Galaga! This version included.. Would like to see more levels and/or ships though.

Obnoxious notifications. You get notified especially early on “congratulations you reach 1000 then 5000 and so on . These notifications are extremely distracting and block the game view. Thank you

The Astro challenges are too hard😡😡😡. The first Astro challenge was way too hard. The second is nearly impossible. I haven’t even made it to the third yet the game is too hard I hate it. It’s the worst game I’ve ever played and you should just quit to the people who are reading this and will play this game, don’t do it or else we’ll get very frustrated. It’s become a rage game in astral challenges. Please add a better way.

Bad changes. This game used to be great. Just hard enough. Now there’s this stupid giant purple thing that comes around behind you and you can’t attack it… not to mention it’s just another effort in dodging, except now, you can’t see half the things you need to dodge because they’re under your thumb/hand. I really hate when games make changes like this for no reason. I didn’t ask for a more challenging game. It’s not on elite mode, there isn’t an option to ignore updates. Take my one-star review until you fix the stupid. It’s bad enough that minor bug STILL EXIST. Inconsistencies and annoyances that have been around for years, but let’s add new stuff…

Fix the bug. Been playing this since it first came to Apple Arcade. The most recent update introduced a bug that stops loading new enemies in elite mode and the only thing you can do is quit the game. This is super frustrating, please fix the bug.

Only have one gripe about Galaga Wars +. Been playing this and the other older versions on many models of iPhone. One problem has always been an issue with every version of the game. Whenever I pause the game and put it in the background, if I don’t come back and resume it within like 5 or 10 minutes, the game will crash and start from the beginning. Anybody know how to fix this? Super annoying.

Beyond great game!. This game … 😍 when I tell you I love this game I LOVE THIS GAME😱! It makes me feel like the 90’s again. When I used to save up my quarter’s to go to the movies arcade. Just to play this and mortal kombat! If you love and shoot em ups - nostalgia I would highly recommend!

Pretty good. It’s frustrating trying to complete challenges that involve clearing waves when the enemies leave the screen before the wave is over, especially clearing waves in a row. It isn’t a realistic judge of skill when any ship can leave the screen at any time. And on the flip side, enemies shouldn't be able to fire after they have left the screen. In any case, I’m still enjoying the game. But now that I’ve beaten Elite Mode, it would be nice to have Nightmare Mode again.

Addictive & Frustrating sometimes 🤣😂. I can get caught up in playing this game for hours & I have… a few times 😅😅. But all in all I like out! I’ve beat the regular campaign mode & the Elite campaign mode is REALLY hard. Nevertheless there’s always something on there that keeps the fun going!

Fun. This is the best game I've played on an iPhone; hands down! Reminds me of the good old Galaga days! Such a fun and challenging game! I keep looking for something similar, but no such luck! Very well-designed! The controls are easy and simple! The UI is beautiful and intuitive!

Fun game one caveat. Really fun game for the iPhone. My only complaint is the “congrats” and progress info in the middle of the screen that affects your gameplay because you can’t see the enemies while the text is up. A major issue on elite mode.

Great game, but developer note!. Gameplay inconsistency: if finger is off screen at start of new ship, game continues without input and immediate death is ensured. Under all other circumstances a lifted finger results in a paused game (which is an awesome feature, btw).

Used to enjoy this game. I’ve been playing the game for a couple of years now and have really enjoyed it. However, I’ve found that my enthusiasm has fallen off. The newish Cosmic Challenge is kind of fun if very difficult, and it’s great to be able to upgrade the ships. However, with the regular games, the perks you earn are worthless. I have over a million coins and thousands of other “rewards” that I have no use for. That has caused me to play a lot less, which may be a good thing since I’m on my phone less. Considering deleting this game.

Now what?. Fun game, I remember when it was an actual arcade game. But I’m frustrated by the fact that there is no way to spend coins and credits once you have all the ships and all the extras on each ship. And now I’m just waiting for challenges so I can increase ship ranks but that really isn’t that interesting. Also, maybe some new challenges instead of the same ones. Getting pretty bored with ricochet and vip escort etc.

Fun. But limited. Galaga but can’t beat the crab boss he drops behind your fighter where you can’t shoot.

We should be able to unlock all the skins and all the ships whenever you want and every time we log into the game we should get 1000 coins so please fix that it’s an OK game. so I think I should be able to unlocked a partnership whenever we want. and that’s what I think should be fixed please answer and those who are reading my review. Listen, it’s all true.

One of the best on the Arcade. I was a huge fan of Galaga in the video arcade. It ate rolls of quarters probably best spent elsewhere. This version stays true to its origins keeping me always grasping for that next level, maple leaf or farming coins for upgrades. I haven’t even beat level one of the Cosmic Challenge, yet. Level 10 and 108 are my highest regular levels. So there remains a great deal to challenge and entertain me. For newcomers, it’s mechanics are like chess. Easy to learn, difficult to master. Sometimes, the graphics will propel me into sensory overload with all the explosions, ricocheting missiles and laser beams. Good thing I can pause simply by removing my finger from the screen. Nice touch. The one thing that confuses me is the level warp scenes. There are what appear to be power up balls to consume, but their purpose is a mystery to me. Other than that, only the rare minor bug that doesn’t detract much from the game.

Fantastic fun for anyone in your family!. Great revamp with lots of replay ability! Intriguing power-UPs that really effect your play. Tiered progression system makes it a fun and challenging way to help you always want to best your last Hi-score! (remember Hi-scores?!) And my personal favorite feature is you can unlock new ‘ships’ designed around other Namco IP, such as Xevious, SkyKid, Pac-Man, Galaxian, StarBlade, Katamari Damancy, and more! Hope this comes to consoles eventually. (I’m looking at you N-Switch! and in portrait-mode!)

Loosing credits. I’m trying to upgrade my ship I play and have 131 credits. When I come back later I have 121. This has happened twice. I was within 16 credits I’d upgrade come back to play down to 120.

Brings back memories from the good ol' days.. Love the game overall but the thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars is the new Elite Mode upgrade. On several occasions, the game will stall out and stop sending enemy fighters and then you pretty much have to quit your game with your progress being erased. I can only get to level 9, not because of the difficulty, it's due to the fact that the game stalls at a particular point in the level. Always at the same point. Fix this issue and I'm giving 5 stars all day long

Great Game!. I downloaded this game just to have something to do while waiting for someone. It is now my favorite game! Challenging in a good sort of way and all around fun. Only problem is I’m starting to become maxed out on everything. Levels, ships, upgrades, etc… Need new levels and ship upgrades fast! Maybe open all ship weapons to all ships. Also would be nice to convert regular coins to cosmic coins. Just some suggestions. Overall, Great Game!

Addicting but pretty bad game. This whole game is revolved around scaling, and a lot of your survival until you’re able to get power ups is literally just based on luck. Sometimes it’s just impossible to survive which is just so ridiculously stupid. The cosmic challenges are also way too difficult, and again, largely based on luck because sometimes you get attacked in a way that makes it impossible to move out of the way. I think this game would be much easier with a mouse, but then you’re using your thumb/finger, you’re literally blocking the screen. I wouldn’t be surprised if the dimwitted developers/QAs did the testing with a mouse and didn’t realize how much much more difficult it is with your hands Don’t download this game.

Bad idea.. I don’t like the new Cosmic challenge. I think it is horrible. Too difficult to play. I would suggest that you get rid of it and instead have new ships for me to buy with my credits. I have accumulated more than enough credits to buy a new starship. Please get rid of Cosmic Challenge. Thank you.

Best Game Ever. This game is really fun. A refreshing take on a timeless classic. Plays great on an iPad. The bigger the better! I love the way that they continue to add new features/challenges to the game. I was away for awhile but these new challenges brought me back!

Buggy update. New Elite mode is great. However, latest update contains a bug. Most annoying is you’re left hanging in whatever level you’re in. Game continues playing but no enemies ever appear. This goes on until you close the game and reopen. It seems random. May or may not happen. Likely an easy fix.

Enjoying this game but…. I love this game because it is mobile and it is paired with Apple Arcade so I can play it anywhere and at anytime. But I experience glitches were when you die on the queen boss near the end it leaves but enemies keep on coming when warping to the next area it takes me to the center were I get ramed into the enemies causing me to lose a life

Dull and boring. This game has no business being difficult as it is and only 10-20 minutes into playing. There’s literally no reward for playing and wanting to continue playing. I’ve downloaded just about every Galaga style game since I used to spend hours at the arcade on this game, and this one is literally the worst.

What a disappointment!. The game seems fun until you get to some of the higher levels or the glitch just decides to show up earlier. You have to fight this scorpion looking boss at the end of some of the levels and this boss will totally disappear from the screen and shoots progressively more difficult rounds/bullets at you until there is no way for you to escape. While this is going on you can’t score any points because you are basically shooting at nothing. Add to that the phantom bullets that hit you out of nowhere and the last sector, as far as I can tell, that just never ends or you have to deal with the aforementioned bullets shot at you by no one and/or the indestructible enemies who somehow keep shooting at you after being hit 5-7 times!! No thank you! I understand that games get progressively harder and expect it, but when there is no logical way for you to win it gets quite annoying. I’m done!

Awesome. Best game I’ve ever played keeps me going keeps challenge me makes me be the best that I can be. Every tournament is different. Every game is different but it keeps me on my toes. I love it. I love the details and everything about it I wish and we’re going to like this but this is the best game that I ever played and it keeps me going and it makes me want to do better for myself, and not just on the games, but it capacity for challenges out there as well. Even for stuff that I wanna give up on I keep on fighting This game has showed me a lot of motivation. Please make more games like this.

Great game!. Really great old school action. I enjoy playing this when I have some down time. It’s fun to unlock new ships. Now if somebody could just bring back Yar’s Revenge. The 80’s games were the best!

Fun but new version confusing. Glad to see the Elite mode addition. I had maxed out all the ships and levels, so these breathed life into the game again. But I have no idea how to upgrade the ships now. No amount of coins seem to matter. There’s no indication of what I need to upgrade the ships now either. Feels broken.

Great take on a classic. I grew up playing this game in arcades long ago! They have taken a classic and taken it to the next level. Whenever I have down time and have to pass a few minutes I play this game. Time flies by and before I know it; it’s go time again. I’m ADHD so I hate sitting still. This game totally remedies those breaks/down time. Great game! Upgraded weaponry is epic!

Great game! Plz read.. Contains everything you want in a remade Galaga game. My only wish is that you could add a retro pack, making everything like 8 bit. Perhaps even a pixelated version of the classic Galaga ship that also changes the map and does other stuff like how the PAC-Man character does. Otherwise, no complaints. Amazing game, do recommend.

Not the table top version. The game is playable for moments of boredom. It’s seems set up to for in game purchases with all these time delays for updates to the ship and bonuses being available. It’s annoying in this format.

Keep losing credits. So frustrating. Game keeps losing my credits that are used to add the ships. When I started playing tonight with two existing credits, I then played 5 levels, each time picking up the credits. It adds them momentarily after the game, but once I play another round they are gone again. Also it’s ridiculously slow to build up enough credits to add new ships.

Excellent. I use the Apple Pencil to play on the iPad Pro and it makes it very enjoyable as the response is so fast, making it easy to dodge the bullets. I remember playing this at the arcades as a kid so it’s a great nostalgic hit. There’s great variety with the powerups and my kids love it too.

This game has F2P timers. Huh? Am I missing something? I thought the whole point of Apple Arcade was to have games that didn’t include the predatory F2P mechanics. This game halts your progress with timers and power ups just like every other junk app on the App Store. Lift your game Apple.

So you’re meant to be at a pause the game by lifting your finger works once in every 15 games yes it works on the first level but pretty much no more All upgrade a temporaryThe magnetic perk is pointless and the game is frustrating as all F do yourself a favour wait until they update the game

Need more ships. Cosmic challenge is too hard. Can’t progress through it at all and I’ve collected all the ships and maxed them out already. Even nightmare mode is easier so probably won’t be returning to play until I can spend my 50K + coins and 400 + credits on something. I’d previously rated this 5 stars but excessively hard cosmic challenge and nothing to use coins or credits on after updating all available ships make me reduce that unfortunately.

Return of the 80’s. I love this updated version of one of my favourite 80’s games.. It plays really well on my 2018 iPad Pro. I have to buy a controller though to really fly down memory lane.. (I also truly enjoy not blowing all my pocket money on it!! 🤣

Tiers and timers. The tiers are a little slow to achieve, so getting new ships is kinda slow for no good reason. Timers for upgrades? Huh? Why?

Fun throwback game. Great game gameplay is fun and challenging although a little bit repetitive at times when progressing. I hate pay to win App Store games and this although there are no purchases feels a little bit like one when it comes to progression. Nice game, severe implementation issues. Galaga is Galaga, which means it’s a nice arcade style game. The problems, however, are with its implementation: First, it doesn’t support a controller. That’s pretty much inexcusable for a game that defined the arcade experience. Second, despite the Apple Arcade factor, the game still features numerous exploitative mechanics that are meant to artificially keep you playing as well as artificially make you come back again. I thought one of the points of Apple Arcade was to avoid these things. And third, the game isn’t available on all platforms.

Good, but not great. Fun classic game with an updated game flow. However, it is severely restricted with “daily gates” making it a very regular style of game that holds you back. Not suitable for Apple Arcade.

Cosmic Coins. I am unable to use the cosmic coins. Useless and futile. I have collect more the 50 of them. Unable to apply them anywhere. Otherwise I am I accord of some… much to hard to be able to advance and have a sense of accomplishment in the game. Seems you get stuck and just cannot pass levels. Game starts and you are all ready dead. Puff !

Fun. It’s a fun game! New update is okay and Nightmare mode is almost impossible to make any progress and I use a stylus. Can’t imagine using my finger.

Great but gui needs work. Great game but navigating thru the user interface is unclear and confusing. Also not clear what the items do when playing. Fun to play but doesn’t feel as well thought out as it should be. Coins are out of place and make the experience feel like it was designed to make you buy features. (Edit: I’m playing in Apple Arcade) When you crash the game ends and though it says you have an extra life you don’t. The first 3 ships are interesting but the more expensive ships just reuses weapons already introduced. What’s the point of saving up credits?

Pretty good game thanks false swipe gaming for the recommendation.. As long as your able to avoid getting invested in the upgrade system it’s a good game. A smooth port of this arcade classic is always going to be appreciated. Just ignore most upgrading features and it’s a pretty good time. Like most arcade games the gameplay is painfully competent, just surrounding filler that makes it feel bloated around the edges.

5 star game but it will not shut down on iPhone 12. Would be 5 stars if I could quit without powering off the phone. Just since the latest iOS release.

Fun gameplay, poor user experience. The gameplay is fun but why are the ships so heavily time-locked? It’s Apple Arcade; stop limiting my fun! I have beat all of the levels but I would need to log in and play every day for weeks to unlock more ships.

No Green Power ups after unlocking PacMan. I have really enjoyed this game over the past few months but today when I unlocked the Pac Man ship I noticed that I was no longer given green power ups. Working towards these advantages was what kept me going. Guess I’m done now. Time to delete.

I’ve been hooked for a few months now. It’s a great game and I find myself playing whenever I have a few minutes to spare. I sometimes end up spending a couple hours on it while listening to podcasts. I like that it is still being supported. The last update greatly improved some power-ups that were previously really bad and meant certain death every time I’d get them. A few minor glitches that still need to be worked on are that when unlocking a new ship that has the same power-ups as previous ships, the power-ups levels tend to mix-up during gameplay. For instance, with the Jumbo Shot fully upgraded on the first ship, after unlocking the next ship that has the Jumbo Shot as one of its power-ups, the Jumbo Shots in-game were inconsistent, shooting big and small Jumbo Shots one after the other. Now that all my ships are fully upgraded though, the glitch has stopped. One way I think the game could be improved is if acquiring new ships required only time spent gaming instead of having to wait for real time to pass. There’s currently no amount of gaming that could allow the player to get new ships faster. There’s a maximum of eleven credits that can be gathered each day by playing each sector. Since the last update, credits can also randomly be awarded by opening the mystery box, which can be done a maximum of four times a day. There should be a way to farm credits. Anyway, that’s my two cents, I’m not a video game developer. TL;DR Great game, worth your time!

I loved the original this is passable. Look at near 50, I am used to things, but this is kind of fun and annoying the same time, one hit kill. I know space is killer, but this is too brutal.

Too much grind. It takes too long for objectives to reset and so you are forced to wait a full day to play for anything useful. Also the upgrades are time locked, meaning you pay for an upgrade on your ship and then have to wait hours for it to take effect or pay more for it to happen right away. The game feels like a pay to win model without the ability to pay.

Ok. I love the game but my sound suddenly just stopped working! I like listening to the sounds while I play, puts me in the zone.

Good game with bad design choices. The game is fun and has a lot of potential, but not designed for Apple Arcade. Upgrades are locked behind a timer that you can overcome by spending more! This turns an otherwise enjoyable game into a frustrating experience.

Solid Shooter with regular updates. New users, if you loved Galaga you will love this. You can stop reading here. To the devs, Elite mode is flawed. Invisible objects destroy ship. Level 8 has a constant fly, no enemies, no obstacles zone that forces a game quit because you can’t do anything but fly around. Multi enemy stack on level 6/7? has an invisible barrier beneath bug. Cannot kill with conventional weapons - have to slam into him from the side and lose a life. And please do something so I can spend the zillions of coins and credits I’ve racked up. Thanks for updating and keeping the game challenging.

Takes Me Back…. … to the 70s! It has a couple of small glitches, and using your thumb for movement takes a bit of getting used to, but I’m already addicted! If they can fix the sticky ships I’ll give it five stars! I’ve been playing for while and downgraded from a 4-star review to a 2-star review. The bugs have gotten worse and there are a lot of issues that really don’t except the game that I was expecting to play. The graphics are beautiful, space some of the characters in levels have a lot of imagination, but I’m not sure if the intellectual property of Bandai Namco was bought by people who don’t understand games or inherited by people who don’t understand games—this game anyway… It has a lot of potential but it has even more bugs. I hope they work it out because it has a lot going for it… But I’m not sure I can wait around to find out.

Great Game, Poor Progression. The game is fun, controls are smooth, lots of bright colours. I enjoy playing it. I would play it more if it wasn’t such a slow grind to unlock new ships or wait X amount of minutes/hours for upgrades to unlock. A great game that is sadly held back by awful design choices.

Trash. Why are there timelocks? This game is far from enjoyable.

5star concept, 3 star execution. This game is a nice update on a retro classic. Unfortunately, it falls just to the wrong side of that delicate balance of challenge and reward. It’s so hard that instead of of giving a sense of accomplishment, it just feels futile. The hit detection is too sensitive, and almost magnetic. You never get the benefit of the doubt. Power ups are either too infrequent or too short, and the cost of upgrades is slightly too much. This makes it so you have to replay endlessly to get anywhere. It wouldn’t be a problem, but it gets too hard, too fast so you never feel like there’s been progress. Your finger is always in the way, and you can never see what’s about to hit you, and it’s too hard to “thread the needle” and dodge the absolutely chaotic amount of things in the screen that seem random, yet almost possessed and always a step ahead. There’s good hard, and then there’s this game, which just misses the mark. Dial back the overweighted advantage on the enemies by 10% and this game might be great.

Perfection. This is just like I remembered from when I was a child only better!

Unfair, not fun to play. Even with multiple ships, you die too quickly to enjoy the game. No control over difficulty, so it’s not fun.

Good Game. Wrong Business Model. I don't understand having games like this with the pay-to-play type reward/advancement structure on Apple Arcade. Jumping through hoops designed to get you to pay is beyond annoyingly pointless with a subject service. You already have my money. Developers, It's a fun game just let us play it. I'll happily change my rating to 5 stars when you do.

New Levels Please. It was an enjoyable challenge to reach level 11 (Ross) but now it’s getting boring. Same old patterns and strategies. I’ve reached over 10M which takes a long and boring 45+ minutes to achieve and even longer when attempting to beat. How about introducing the ability to start midway to your high score for 30 warp credits, etc? I’ve obtained all the ships and all weapons are nearly maxed out. Any chance of introducing new levels or challenges?

Fun but buggy. Cosmic challenge rewards are broken. Max rank ship upgrades are broken and revert to no upgrade. Support is aware but offer no timeframe for a fix.

Awesome game. Lame progress. I always have to start from beginning. Always galaxy 1 always. Never later levels, even after saving

Waaaay too slow. Progression is super slow. This is clearly a game balanced around heavy microtransactions that just removed their microtransaction store when they moved to arcade, so you’re left with avg 100 credits per ship to buy, and MAX 11 credits per day (I think, if you can beat the whole game with the base 2-3 ships). Apple should not be letting games into arcade without better changes

Just another F2P Predatory game. Get Dodonpachi for a real game that doesn’t want only your cash and frustration like this junk

Bugs in Elite Mode. I’ve tried elite mode and have come across bugs in some sectors: enemies, stop advancing, and you are stuck with a blank screen; this continues indefinitely, or you move around the screen and strike an invisible object, and your ship blows up. This is a fun challenge, so please fix the bugs to make the game more enjoyable. Also, thought I’d mention I very much enjoy the weekly challenges!

Galaga wars. I honestly love the game. My favourite video game since Nam. Lol. I did not go to Vietnam. I was only a thought and a wish back then. This game is totally awesome!!!! I love it. Not the 80s Galaga. Ship is huge. Weird. Fun.. Okay. Thanks for keeping Galaga alive. Where is the tractor beam! Too easy to get a double-fighter! I wanna work for it. Over 60 Days to unlock all ships. It’s fun for a few minutes, but after that it’s a grind. You’re limited to collect 10 credits per day, so you’ll need to play daily for months to unlock everything.

Crab Boss Glitch Not Fixed. And it’s not just in Elite Mode. I encountered the glitch on level 8 in Normal Mode as well. Crab Boss appears for a fraction of a second, disappears, and then space debris (that cannot be shot) comes endlessly your way, dooming the game.

Galaga. Elite level 107 has glitches. Can’t finish level because of inactivity.

WAYYYY too grindy. The game is fun for a while but then becomes a huge slog requiring tons of grinding before you can buy new ships.

Purple Scorpion Ruins It. The purple scorpion ruins all the fun. And glitches off the top of the screen 40% of the time rendering your game useless.

Galaga Wars+. Would rate this a perfect game for its genre BUT the difficulty for the weekly challenges is so high that I truly don’t believe anyone has ever completed one..

These new updates should be consolidated into one mode instead of each one getting its own mode. I’ve been playing this game for over a year, and the gameplay loop is well designed and a lot of fun. It’s been getting new updates every few months, and all of these updates add new enemies and variations to gameplay, but none of these changes stand on their own enough to deserve their own modes. The new additions should be consolidated into one single mode instead of being split between three separate modes. A good structure for this new mode would be to have the player go through an infinite level similar to the final level in the game, and have “events” trigger at random times during the level. These events would use the new enemies and gameplay variations already introduced in previous updates. An event based off of Nightmare Mode could randomly increase enemy speeds throughout the level, an event based off of Cosmic Challenge could temporarily change the environment to surround the player in darkness or force them to escort an escape pod through a specific section, and an event based off of Elite Mode could throw asteroids or lasers at the player. Once each event ends, the player could receive a power up as a reward, the gameplay would return to normal until the beginning of the next event, and once the player dies, they would be told how long they survived for. Instead of new monthly Updates adding new separate modes, they would just add new Event types to this mode, allowing the game to stay relevant and letting the mode get better every month. I play this game every day, and the ideas added in recent updates have showcased interesting new ideas. If these ideas and updates were focused one single mode like instead of each idea getting a completely new mode, players would have something to look forward to with each update, and the game would become truly amazing.

Keeps you motivated. Good game of hand /eye coordination. Never boring and you feel you are impacting the various targets.

Everything I love in mobile games. I love this game. It’s simple and will always be challenging. It’s a good one for passing small amounts of time and I love the pause function (lifting your finger from the screen). A few other favorite things include: 1. You can always play through from level one even if you have nothing to start with. You don’t have to build up items to continue play. 3. The last levels are infinite so you never have to stop, either. Nice. 3. There are two modes of play, normal and elite. You can always access both from level one (once you unlock elite mode, which happens fairly early). Both modes refresh credits. Point accumulation matches levels skipped to enable chasing high scores. 4. Fast travel to higher levels. 5. Can always find a challenge but with low stakes game play. So I don’t lose everything if I perish. 6. The extra life at the end for a low cost of 10 coins, which you will almost always have. 7. Different ships and themes from across nostalgia games. 8. Gift and daily challenges refresh quickly (4 hours, I think). 9. The cosmic challenges are difficult (for me at least), but I love that I can choose to pursue all 3 challenges in a given level, or move on to the next level after it unlocks. Unlocking only requires completing one goal from the previous level. Some recommendations: 1. It could be more clear that the cosmic challenges are the only place to accumulate items for ship upgrades. I had to look it up. One issue there is that the items for upgrades appear as different colors on the Home Screen (red) versus the upgrade menu (yellow). It looks like two different items. 2. The credit items appear generally at the end of levels, which is fine except that they sometimes blink out before they can be collected because the scene moves to the next level. It would nice to have a second to collect things before being brought to the next level. 3. I hope there will be more levels, modes, and ships in the future! This is not a complaint, just a recognition that there is a lot of potential to expand and I hope it happens! Overall, thanks for a fun, simple, and challenging game! My few suggestions

Galaga. Ok. I've exhausted my credits, can't go any farther in Normal mode. Now - suddenly - there's a new monster that can't be killed. Is this a bug because no one cares anymore?

How many clicks to start the game. I literally kept hitting this and that ten plus times but the game never started just dumb should be start and play not twenty clicks of dumb whatever
