It is so amazing how I have improved my accent, it took me a while until my tongue position got used to the new pronunciation, thank you guys so much for the the big effort you are putting to make it easier for us. Very helpful!. I’ve done a couple hours of training and already noticing areas I need to improve in. This supplements my duolingo studies nicely. Can improve my English while still learning other languages. I wish they would branch out to other accents though- would prefer my English to sound like British English but it’s a new app and I hope they continue to expand.

Almost perfect. Content is great. The app itself can use some improvements. Especially the video playback often freezes which can be solved by going 10s back and then 10 forth. Also recording usually has some lag so the first things you say usually are not recorded

So glad I found this app. English is my first language but I’m an immigrant and my accent and pronunciations have always been an issue when speaking. I’ve been using various online resources but now I’ve found an app that has everything in one place! The AI pronunciation feedback is a game changer for sure. The lessons are also really helpful and easy to follow. I’m so grateful to the developers for creating such an amazing tool. I subscribed the first day of using it!

It’s not that bad. It helps me pronounce the words way better than I used to say them I was raise with a Latin family so I got used to hearing them pronounce the words wrong and also I was homeschooled so I couldn’t learn proper English basically my first language was Spanish but I was born here in United States. It will help you even if you were from another country so I recommend having this app but you gotta pay for a Vance lessons so if you wanna use your money go ahead yet one month free trial.

Useful app. This is great for recognizing problems in my speech to make improvements in my communication, because people are too polite to point out personal deficiencies to your face. I feel it helps to make marginal improvements over time, which will eventually help me improve greatly in my weakest area, verbal communication. I hope you find it useful too, either to advance your career or to become a better example for children around you.

Very Helpful!. I have been practicing my pronunciation for 3 month with Boldvoice. I got to know what sounds I cannot make and I am still working on it. It was very helpful to hear and see how my english sounds like. I believe this app will make my english smooth in 6-7 months.

A little pricy, but I’m liking it so far!. I like their system and how it feels like someone is really there giving me advice. I also like how I can listen to the coach, listen to myself, and then compare! The 6/days free trial will be to actually show me if I can be consistent, otherwise $170+/year would be too much if I don’t use it

Good app, to be honest.. This is genuinely a good app for people who struggle with their accents, or (people like me) who have a really bad lisp. I know for sure that a few of my friends really need this app, because for a lack of better words. I can barely understand a few of their sentences. But I still love em don’t worry, and if they’re reading this, or you have a similar problem. I mean no offense towards you, have a great day. -Sincerely a fellow customer.

All the content is mismatched. I can’t believe they’re charging $150/year for this app. The coach says “let’s say ‘feet’ in the microphone” but the app wants you to record “moon”. Same thing a bunch of times. The content is saying you should do one thing, but the word for the microphone is completely different. Don’t waste your money.

It really does help!. Amazing app to improve both your vocabulary and your pronunciation! English is my 2nd language and even tho I’ve been speaking it since I’m 14 years old I do tend to have an accent still on some words and this app is helping me improve a lot! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Corrects native speakers too 🥲. First of all you should know that one of the founders is from terrorist state russia (you can look them up). And to advertise Bold Voice on social media they use bloggers who openly work with russians (teaching them English as I see) encouraging them to go around their bank cards limitations. Russian bloody money are banned for a reason. So before you buy the subscription please think if you really want to support terrorists indirectly. Secondary, this app corrects all native English speakers who tried it. Not on every word, but every person. Might be a little too demanding for people with heavy accents.

Great app!. Love this app! I've learned so much already. I learn English as an adult and all the accent reduction clases I previously took didn't do much. But this app is teaching me what I needed to learn to master my accent. The teachers are great, I love the way they explain the sounds of each letter. They make learning fun and easy 💕

If I were to design an accent trainer it would be exactly like this…. This is exactly what I was looking for in an accent training app! It was years ago when I figured out that the KEY issue in practicing a foreign language is to ADJUST YOUR TONGUE— the tongue positions you’re so used to when speaking language A are usually VERY different from those of language B, and the tiniest misplace of the tongue will lead to an “off” sound of an “language-A-accent”— that’s because your tongue’s lingering around the “language A” position that it is shaped to as you grow up! I really like this app for it addresses the tongue-position-issue meticulously; it REALLY captures those little off-positions your tongue accidentally slips into and lets you know. I also really love several of its features like the one that allows you to put in your own text and practice its pronunciations, the bookmark feature also works amazing. In all— very satisfied; would love it more if the price was more accessible, though.

Improving every day. I feel much confident with my pronunciation and daily practice. This gives me an opportunity to learn a new idioma that makes my life more challenging but the same time easier to understand.

It’s artificial intelligence so it’s not 100% accurate. Even though you will say the words as a native speaker that speak correctly it’s still wrong according to the machine. I even let the app listen the same voices the speakers use for us to learn and the machine marked it as wrong lol. Also, some people from some states will pronounce words certain way and people from other states pronounce the same word differently. So it’s not worth it. It’s best to use a human being. I would give it zero stars if I could it’s simple and plain inaccurate we don’t speak like the machine tells you to speak in the United States.

Very helpful with R’s. This app has been great to help with pronunciation of words I’ve been struggling with. There’s a voice coach and they give scores for how close you are on pronunciation. If you’re really struggling you can even book a session with a speech coach.

Great app to help your improve your pronunciation. I don’t have difficulty in understanding, reading or writing in English but my English pronunciation need a lot improvement. This app is help me to improve my pronunciation and speak clearly English .

I paid monthly subscription for nothing. As a returning user, I went back to use this app again and reactivated my monthly subscription. However, features still remained locked and I can’t even begin to do any of the practice on this app. On top of it, the app keeps asking me subscribe to annual plan to unlock all features with 7 days trial. My question is I already subscribed to it, and why am I still being asked to do annual subscription for using this app? I can’t even get my refund back? This entire experience really frustrated me badly and I’m really done with it.

Wonderful App…. The app has been a joy to use. I stopped using the app for a week and now I am having trouble getting pass exercises as they intermittently provide a playback. When I first signed up for a plan I had no problems. It would be nice to be able to flow through my practice and exercises more smoothly without this hiccup.

Great App!. I can compare my pronunciation with the coach and try again how to say like the coach, it’s really helping. I also can listen slow and fast version of how to say the sounds. I feel like improving.

App not recognizing subscription. Hello, I was previously subscribed but decided to delete my account to start over a new account. When I bought the subscription on the App Store, the new bold voice app account is not recognizing the subscription. It seems the system on iPhone is detecting it under the account for bold voice I deleted, and not the new bold voice account. Have not access to old bold voice since I deleted. Apple charged $99 but the app says I’m not subscribed when I log in.

Responsive Customer Service. I wasn't able to skip lesson using the App trial. So, I am not able to rate its content properly. But, the Customer Service was excellent which shows a commitment on behalf of the developers.

This app is good for deaf people to study. It’s easier and videos of person talking you can read her lips clearly. When you speak errors, they show you how to speak right way, it’s almost same thing with speech seasons.

Thorough app and great company. This app is very thorough and it presents content progressively and in daily bite-sized quantities so that you don’t feel overwhelmed with material and so that training can develop into a habit. I quite like that you get immediate feedback and tips on your pronunciation thanks to voice recording analysis and I like that there is a test that you can take and retake at future intervals to measure your progress. Furthermore, the people behind this app really care about their users and want to them to develop their English pronunciation so their lives can improve.

Worth every penny. After a few months of sporadically using the app I feel a big improvement in my accent and fluency of speech. The lessons are really well laid out and the voice recognition system picks up on small details really well. Theres so few language apps that i use on a regular basis and this is one them… super fun and rewarding to use.

Really good app. It doesn’t get better than this. I just wished there were more payment options. Likes credits I can use to unlock lessons. I don’t have a lot of free time so sometimes I go weeks without practicing, sadly. Otherwise I love this app.

Ups and Downs. It’s really good for most sounds. They go in depth and give you great strategies to make them. There are many great tools like custom making words and sentences for yourself to practice and bookmarking confusing words that are really helpful. However when it comes to the R sound this service is somewhat lacking. The explanation for the R sound is really confusion and borderline useless when it comes to making it with the technique given. The service also has no visuals which would help a lot for knowing how to place the tongue for certain sounds.

Amazing app. This app is super helpful for people who want to improve their accent . It uses very helpful methods of teaching and also has the best option to practice that i have never seen in any other app ! It has also improved my confidence when speaking im just so in love!

Great so far. I just completed lesson one. It was fantastic. The lady does a great job in the videos, and the app does a great job of rating your pronunciation. It does this through percentages (you pronounced 89% correctly, 99%, etc.). It’s proof of your accent; should you want to lessen it, you just keep practicing until you get to 100%. I’m Hispanic with not much of an accent, but I still have one. Now I will be able to tell just where it is.

They trainers dont know how to speak English. I speak English but the app when I said this is a serious career it gave me a 77% I said this is a serious career correctly the personal app trainers cannot speak English they are just not good English speakers they must be from Japan or something because they do not pronounce he ate actual words correctly I would say this is a series career very correctly and it gave me a 77% fix your app

App seems like it would be great but….. I was excited to start using this to improve my accent in the foreign language I’m learning. While setting up my account, it asked me what my native language was (English), rather than the language I’m learning. From there, I was not able to go back and correct it. There was no help option language settings. I’m sure I’d like the app, but the set up needs to be more clear.

It Does Work. I scored (up) 7%,,, I instantly noticed the improvement in my confidence to speak with more Power and clarity!<>. <>. <>. I don't recall saying “that!” I don't care about ‘%points’ up or down... I recall saying: “after one session, the next day i sounded like i was shouting when i talk!” (meaning) it boosted my confidence for a few days... I was on the 7 days Free Trial but the next time i logged in i couldn't access my FREE TRIAL, so i deleted the complete App, but when i can afford it (in a few months) i will be back. I am American, but i want to learn to speak “Cockney,” does the App teach that? I impersonate David Bowie, so an English or Cockney accent would be beneficial to me,

😍👍🏻. if you're trying to work on your pronunciations, boldvoice is a great choice. it has different levels for various levels of speaking skills and has a great method to teach speaking english and pronouncing words. what I really like about Boldvoice is that I feel like I'm practicing with an actual teacher rather than app. Great app, highly recomended.

Great app. Learning a second language when you are an adult and have no musical ear is a hard training, but BoldVoice is helping me a lot, I am improving my pronunciation. Thanks to the explanations of the coaches and the exercises, I’m becoming aware of my muscle movements when English speaking and that is an important contribution to getting over my on barriers. By doing a few minutes of BoldVoice “workout” every day, progress is noticeable.

My review. Wish I could download the lessons and go back to them at my leisure, with no time constraints. Unfortunately, I only was able to access 1/4 of the classes. This app if used consistently can improve your prononciation.

So far - so very good!. I’m an actor and this is really helping me. The app itself is well designed - and there is feedback on specific sounds and pronunciations that is extremely thorough! Even you tap (x) to cancel it starts 7 day trial without your permition. I don’t like this kind of scum tricks. I deleted immediately. There are tons of youtube videos that you can get the same benefit for free. Disapointed.

Instead of like a free subscription where the app is limited, it’s completely blocked. Very Helpfull. I struggle with my accent on many English words so this app has helped a lot with teaching me where I’m making the wrong sounds and how to fix them.

revelutionary. I can say this is the best app I practiced with as a non-native speaker for speech and accent. I will be thankful if I can register it fully from Asia, we don't have access to any credit cards in our country.

Great app to improve your accent. This app have helped to improve my accent. The app tells you in which parts of the pronunciation you need to practice more.

Log in error. I purchased the full year package from Bold Voice. When I changed my phone, I tried to log in via my apple account and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried many times and even tried to log in using my email. Nothing works and I was still half way of my subscription. I do not want to renew. How do I cancel that?

FUNNIEST APP EVER. If you’re an native english speaker and are super bored/sleep deprived, GET THIS APP. It is the so entertaining!! If you got this app to genuinely work on your english pronunciation, don't be too hard on yourself. As a native english speaker, getting the pronunciation semi-correct is more than enough to say what you need to say. I have an 81 year old grandpa who would fail this app (and he’s never left the country).

Need to know the language. To use this app successfully, one needs to know and understand the language first. It’s not that easy to use for a beginner or someone who has minimal conversational experience. I guess it catches American dialects and scores down.

They’re far too strict. I’m a native English speaker, and I wanted to see how well the app worked, I spoke like a native would but it kept saying I was wrong. It wanted me to say each word one at a time, when in reality, I wouldn’t do that, I’d soften some letters and say it fast.

Helps a lot!. This app helped with the pronunciation of words that I thought I was saying right. Now I understand why people didn’t understand me sometimes. Thanks!

Great for immigrants. I'm an immigrant in the US for almost 5 years and still feel a little self-conscious about my accent. This app has been perfect for me to feel more comfortable speaking up.

Unnoticed subscription. They charged me 1 year subscription without letting me know. I thought everything was set to be a monthly subscription and then it would be up to me if wanted to change it but it was not that case. And I trying to contact somebody to get a refund and change my subscription to be monthly but apparently there’s no phone number to contact.

Improving your accent beyond measure capacity. This is amazing app anyone who from out side the United state having difficulty to pronounce stuff they should try this app for sure.

This is very impressive!. I like this app more then tutor. You can listen 100 times and repeat and they shows videos and explained yours mistake and you can listen yourself. It is very helpful!

Wow!. I used to think I said the word perfectly, and then the app plays it back and it's eye opening to hear your own accent! This app has really helped me understand and start to fix my accent.

Great value and product. I did a couple of accent reduction classes. BoldVoice is very similar, but it's nice that it's a convenient app. And it costs way less than a class.

Ideal for English as second language speakers. After a few lessons, I notice my weakness in pronounciations. If I keep practicing for 10 to 15 minutes a day, there is no doubt I can reduce my accent and speak with more confidence.

Very good but can be hard to understand what’s being said. When describing things they use a lot of big words that most students wouldn’t understand.

Just only can tried around 2 days.. This app is great but we have to pay 🥺. Cake app the similar but we have a choice if we want to learn or update more we have to pay, if not we don't need too. This app have to pay if you want to learn. 🥲

They charged me. I downloaded the app for 7 day free trial and picked the one month option. I cancelled the subscription after a week within the 7 days (in the day seven of the subscription in the morning) but they still charged me for one month. They should charged me in the day 8 after 7 day free trial.

Helps. Enjoying so far, it has a voice recognition and coaches you. Interesting, will be using sometime.

Awesome English accent application. I highly recommend this application to get off your English accent. It’s a little bit pricey, but I believe it’s worth it if you wish to get off your accent. Give it a try!

Great app!. I’ve been using the app consistently - it’s very helpful to learn with personalized content from Hollywood coaches! So much cheaper and more convenient than working with an accent coach
