Must Try!. There is so much potential. I usually use assist level 5 with rush hour traffic reaching 22-25mph. I try not to abuse its power to conserve battery health so just be aware of that.

Don’t waste your time. The only useful tool of the app is the change of assisting level to 5 and 37 km/h change. This no longer works with latest firmware, I wasted money on this app to not be able to use this feature, I’ll update my review once this is fixed

Does not support x2/s2. Nothing listed in the app description… does not support the s2/x2

Doesn’t work in California. Don’t waste your money. I read the reviews and downloaded the app thinking I’d be able to access “the full potential of the bike”, but it doesn’t work. No access to Level 5, no additional speed allowed. I received this message: Moofer This feature is not supported on firmware 1.8.1. Please ask VanMoof to downgrade your firmware version if you want to use this feature. I asked Van Moof how to downgrade and received this message: apologies, there is no way to currently downgrade to a lower version. So now I have a $10 app that doesn’t do anything.

App not working anymore. Not working for the latest firmware

This App DOES NOT WORK. I just installed the app and it launches to a blank white screen with a black bar in the middle. There’s no way to progress and attempting t access my account on their website also fails. This is useless and a waste of time & money.

Updated for s2!! 🎉. Thanks for adding the s2 support :) seems like it took a lot of work. Couple things I noticed: speedometer while ridding is off compared to bike speedometer. The app is always slower. When going 19 on bike speedometer, the app says something like 11-13 mph. Also when looking back at the recording the average speed is too slow given the distance traveled and the duration of the ride. Additionally, the charge notification when set to notify at 90% notified me at 80%. Love the app!

Not working. The two main reasons why I purchased the App aren’t working because of the firmware on my S3. Moofer should’ve stated the firmware version their App works with so customers don’t purchase their App and then discover that those functions won’t work. Uninstalling.

love it. this is a great app, clean and trouble free, and amazing to unlock limited features of the bike like manual shifting. it’s fairly minimal so far, can’t wait for a few new features!

Best Bike App For The Best Bike. When I first downloaded the Moofer app I was skeptical but hoped it would improve my S3's riding experience. I didn't have any idea what I was in for. When I set the region to 💨 and the assist level to 5 I was sure I wouldn't notice that much of a difference. I couldn't have been more wrong. These settings took what was already a very quick bike and made it a tire-burning rocketship on wheels. I kid you not. Nearly every time I hit the boost button from a standstill I can get the front tire to spin out as if this bike were a race car doing a burn out. It's so much fun that I'd prefer to ride my S3 over driving my car everywhere now. Despite the fact that it's pushing triple digit temps here in the Phoenix, AZ area. Now that I can cruise anywhere from 21-24mph thanks to the Moofer app I don't even really notice the warmer air. To summarize, this app is amazing. Seriously a must-have for anyone with a VanMoof.

Hospitalized. Spent the day in the hospital because of Moofer . CT scans. Ambulance. This app causes ‘end overs’ where the increased power in the wheel throws the rider over the handlebars (when the front brakes are applied.). The bike is not designed for this. Very dangerous. Beware.

Waste of money. I paid for the app but there is no functionality it provides for My bike which is the S2. So I purchased the app as a waste.

Broken on newer iOS versions. As of iOS 16.4, Moofer fails to connect to paired S2 bikes.

Scam parasite app. This app is garbage, it only offers a different interface to the same settings provided by the real app. One minute after signing into this app i atart getting spam emails!

1.8.1 Firmware. It doesn’t work on my bike. Got the app to increase max speed. Would love to know if this will be working at some point in the future. If so I’ll update my rating when it works again

Makes My S3 Even Better. I loved my my Van Moof before I got this app. This makes a great electric bike even better. Awesome!!!!

Smart speed!. This is a great app and hopefully the features will be adapted into the VanMoof app! I hope the developer works for VanMoof as they have done a great job! Smart speed is brilliant and bike is much more useful riding without having to use boost button as often. This is such a great bike and is only going to get better as the app evolves with new features!

Please update app for S2. I bought the app thinking that it would work for my S2, but doesn’t do anything for me. My friend has the S3 and loves it. Please let us know when you will release an update for the S2.
