It needs a way to get to the the fossil/habitat info/videos without the lights on in the room…
Lucasadrianphoto - Easily one of the coolest apps I’ve ever purchased.
Short version: It’s only $3 for on-demand David Attenborough in your pocket.
Longer version: I almost never write reviews. As a man in his 30’s with no children you might wonder why I purchased and played with this app. The AR works extremely well on my phone, the narration is fantastic and informative. And it’s just generally *really cool*. I have to be honest though, having watched MANY David Attenborough documentaries I knew I was in for a treat. Can’t wait to show my cats!!

I have always loved Attenborough for his amazing documentaries, so this was a no brainer! I can’t wait to see more animal exhibits added and the three that are currently available were presented beautifully.

This app is unbelievably great! The animation is stunning, facts & descriptions are informative, & the app setup is accessible & easy to use. I highly recommend this historic app for anyone who is into wildlife! Great work!
Lizs152 - Doesn’t Work
I’ve tried multiple times and only was able to see something nice. Doesn’t allow me to do anything. Very disappointing that I had to pay for nothing. Will probably delete as there are only 3 choices anyway. Not worth the money at all.
Ambivalentmaybe - Just crashes
On my iPhone 7, the app asked repeatedly for permission to access the camera, which I allowed each time, then it just crashed. Now it just shows a white screen for a bit, and then quits.
The developer support site doesn’t have a valid SSL cert or something, and just shows a privacy warning.
Sad—the app looked pretty cool, but obviously not ready.
Update: I deleted and then re-downloaded the app. After the app is installed, I have about 3GB free space. Still the same result: it just quits after a few seconds.
Ehuelga - No iPad?
Terrific app, but needs iPad support so it’s really a family-useful experience. It’s rated for ages 9+, and my kids don’t have iPhones.

I purchased and downloaded the app. When it first starts up, it says to enable sound. How???

I love it and I think it works as intended but with only 3 animals is not much more than a demo.

Mathieu Pigeon - Very interesting, but not quite where it could be yet
The available content is quite interesting and well presented, obviously benefiting from the use of AR and from Attenborough’s charisma.
The very moderate cost should however set expectations accordingly, as this content is quite limited, both in breadth (at this time, there are only four animal covered, with a fifth announced) and in depth (apart from the too-short text, there are missed opportunities, such as showing a 360° of a static specimen or a map of its era). Oh, and some additional proofreading would be appreciated!
Thumpf - Not working
Worked for a few days, now will not go past "pinch to size" screen. Uninstalled, reinstalled... Nothing.
No subscription info, no FAQ, no help. Too bad, was fascinating.
