Acts like a firmware. I’m so frustrated I’ve deleted this app 12 times but it keeps downloading. I’m so frustrated!!!

Not worth the price. At least for me, this app is a waste of money. I would rather use Tiny Scanner compared to this app. You have to do a lot of manual adjustments to get the page almost right, even if you scan under good lighting. Their promotion is a lie. You take a shot, and nothing happens as they show in their promotional video.

Unauthorized charges. UScan started charging $6.99 per week when I never authorized such charges!

It glitches when trying to send the document. When you’re ready to share it kicks you out of the app. Frustrating!

How to cancel. I am trying to cancel my trial subscription.

$7 a week!. The app wants to charge $7 a week! That’s a dollar a day, every day of the year. I remember when you could buy an entire OS for less than that amount. Unfortunately, I didn’t even bother to try it and will delete it. Please come back when you’ve got a customer-friendly, value-oriented business model.

Blurry. All the scans have been blurry and unable to read. How do I cancel this service.

Time. They don’t tell you there going to charge 6.99 a Week. They need to post that before wasting my time with this down load.

Too much. Too expensive $6.99 per week after 7 days trial

Glopped all roster names together. I have better success with my iPhone SE 2020 using the internal text capture from the Photos app than I did with UScan. Tried it just once and it was a miserable failure regarding columns of names numbers and positions. Photographers need to quickly gather roster information in journalism for sporting events and I simply couldn’t see the value in UScan vs having to undo a less muddled scan of text from Apple Photos. Did the developers try maintaining columns and matching text with numbers and positions for instance? The video suggests that columns might be created via document but that didn’t happen in my attempts. I might still have the result and the original files.

I love it. I love this, it’s faster than my actual scanner

$7 a week??. I just downloaded the app and found out after 1 week trial it’s $6.99 a week. That seems way overpriced for a scanning app.

Ames. If you to repeatedly be charged money for a scan app, they’re a five star app for sure.

This app dose not work. It says to blurry when I shoot written text . Completely clear this app dose not work all so spells words wrong constantly. Give me my $$$ back

Counterintuitive Product. On the surface this product looks pretty neat but it’s application on the iPhone isHorrendous. The touchscreen is too sensitive the men used to navigate forward and backward or not obvious in any way shape or form between multiple page scans. If you’re scanning one page it’s a decent product otherwise it is frustrating to say the least.

Does not work at all what waste. Does nothing as advertised the scan produces gibberish

UScan. Life made easier finally the perfect system easy to work with and even more so to send any document type.

Charge of $6.99/ week is way not worth it. I didn’t notice on the ad that there’s a charge for using this app. Sorry so not worth $6.99 per WEEK!!!!!

What a rip off!. I downloaded this “free” scanner that wanted my cc info for the trial week. After that it was supposed to be 6.99 monthly. I haven’t used it since but figured I would get around to canceling soon and at 6.99 a month it’s no big deal. NO! They have been charging me WEEKLY! This has been a huge money pit I had no idea was going on. Stay away from “free” apps that want your cc and then bill you constantly. I’m so sorry I ever signed up!

Fast, convenient!. While looking for a free scanning app, I stumbled upon uScan. I work in commercial construction and use this app every day for work. I use it to send my weekly hours, any reports or receipts that need to be completed. I also scan parts of my drawings for use in the field or for sending to other foremen and workers on large jobs that are far away from me. This app is easy to use and has changed my workflow for the better. It works great for my job, but I use it for many other purposes. For some reason, my daughter-in-law needed a photograph of her husband. My daughter calls and asks if I can take the authorization form she forgot to the school. Instead of driving there, I scan it, email it to the teacher, and then send the text to my daughter as an extra measure. Another daughter was going on an international school trip, the teacher needed a copy of her passport, immediately she was there. Not to mention, uScan is great for the job, where I use it primarily for archiving receipts that need to be billed to specific customers. I have immediate access to the scanner! No lost receipts and it's completely secure! I do not want without it.

App. It doesn’t copy it exactly when you try to edit it. Not worth it. Needs a lot of improvement.

Your Twitter ad is misleading. Tell me in the ad that there will be a fee every week. For that alone I deleted without ever using.

EZ Scan. This is by far the easiest mobile scan I’ve ever used.

Best scanning app. Overall, this is my favorite scanning app. It’s my go-to first choice. uScan is quick, nice-looking, and handles multiple use cases. The border detection is pretty good, and smart naming with the ability to rename the document and the ability to auto-upload to cloud services are both really nice. Due to the Coronavirus virus - we must work from home. I needed the simplest way to do work things remotely. My sister is a spring student at a major university found this app for me. It's obvious that the developers of uScan made the user experience a priority. And that's what makes this my default scanning app (along with the excellent scanning accuracy of course). I know only a few applications that have such useful thing: single-page scans are saved as JPEG without having to save to camera roll, it is really useful for me! In the past scanners I used, I found the OCR to be completely useless, but when I tested this feature in uScan, I found that it's either vastly improved compared to other scanner apps or I was just really lucky with it for a change. Nevertheless, it works great for me, I will gladly recommend this app to all my friends!

Dishonest. You sign up for the free trial and put your information in and then when you start to use the app at proceeds to stop you and tries to get you to spend more money and doesn’t actually let you use the app I’m very dissatisfied

Works great for my use!. My use primarily is to take shots off of television with this App. It makes the process simpler and with great color accuracy. None work better. Good Job!

Scam. Claims to be Free

A bit confused. Hi, I read reviews before I download an app. People were complaining they were charged & you reply that it is a free app etc. Some people were happy with it. I decided to download app. I went through the first few screens, opted out of the free 7 day trial then be charged after 7 days because I did it want that option. It then proceeded to tell me to pay $79.99 to continue. No way to proceed without opting in for premium etc. I tried this several times thinking I was missing something, but no option to use app as a free app. Signing up for a free trial then opting out of said trial is a waste of time when I don’t want those premium features. Am I missing a process to use the app for free?

Not for me. I love the app but the thing is as an aged disabled person there is no way I would use it enough to warrant paying over $40 per month. Good app but does not work as expected. Hey, this app is well designed but has a one big issue - if you scan more than 40 pages and want to export as pdf document app will shut down. Restart, reset - nothing helps, unfortunately.

It’s not free at all. The developers have said it’s free to use, well for 7 days…..then it’s a costly venture PER week after that. It may be an amazing app, one that I would love, but thee pay scale is out of this world. No app should be free or free forever but this is kind of ridiculous.

Apprehensive. I really wanted to download this app. Though due to all the negative reviews, I am very apprehensive. I did not see the X that you state is there to bypass a subscription. Though, I do object to not showing in your statements what’s actually in the pro version versus the free version. And the limits of both. $6.99 a week is expensive… though the $49.99 life time is a good deal. Would that include all major updates? Is there a refund policy if not satisfied? Though, seems to be only available when initially signing up in lieu of the trial start.

Waaay to expensive. I downloaded this app and was willing to try it because what it says it does sounds very cool. However once the flashy introductory slide show was over, the app reveals the price of what it offers: $6.99/week. That is $28+/month. $363.48 per year. Which is completely ABSURD! Who do these developers think they are? I miss the time when developers had not discovered yet the subscription racket and you could get cool apps like this one for $9.99 final price (which I would totally paid for this app by the way).
