I like the app, but …. Logging food daily can be time consuming and frankly annoying. This app helps take away those pains through a really nice interface. While I like the app, I have a few suggestions to make logging food even better: 1. When adding recent items by pressing the plus sign, the app jumps each time up to the top of the list. If I’m scrolling through 10s of items to find something logged 2-weeks ago, it get pretty annoying. 2. If I’m logging a recent item, keep the unit of measurement and the amount the same as my previous choice. I logged food for days just to realize my items had reset to the default. 3. Finally, if I open the app tomorrow, the app should open to that days log and not yesterdays. I logged food on the wrong day because the app is opening to previous days and not the current day. Then, there was no way to move the items. Overall, I like the app. I used my fitness pal for a long time and this app is a better because it is not bloated with ‘features’. Thanks.

Terrible Subscription Business Model. As soon as you download this app, before you can even access it or see what it looks like, you are prompted to sign up for a subscription. You can either pay $20 for a 1-year subscription, or do a 3-day free trial and then it’s $9.99/week or $40/year after that. Obviously, if you’ve never seen or used this app before, like me, you’ll opt for the 3-day free trial. Only, the $20/year option completely disappears after that and there’s no way to get it back after your trial has ended. I have reached out to support to try and get the offer back with no response. I am so angry at what a horrible business practice this is that I refuse to purchase out of principle. I will be switching to a different macro tracking app, even though I would have willingly given you my $20. Unbelievably awful business model.

Interesting meal plans…. Meal plans are umm yea, how to put it, very spontaneous and don't stick with a good trend… i looked at the high protein meal plan, and yes the meals are pretty good protein intake plans but a little consistency with the plans day to dat would be mucho better… instead of having to plan prep make and cook 3 different meals every single day! Thats a load of work especially for a single person lol i think Yall can come up with a more simplistic yet tasty and of course keep a good meal plan in place thats a bit more simple… but it’s definitely a good bias for others who want to try cooking many things and get a feel on what they should prep up. OTHER THAN THAT!!!! The rest of the app works great 😬

App has too many shortcomings. The developers of this app clearly do not understand food recording but have otherwise designed a nice UI that surpasses myFitnessPal. Here are the limitations: -The app requires the user to choose their preferred units, which is fine for weight tracking but not for creating new foods or meals. A user needs to be able to create foods and meals using either metric or imperial. -when creating new foods there are limitations in what unit sizes are available (eg tablespoon) and there is no ability to add a fractional amount (eg .5oz) -when recording foods consumed there are limited options to choose from in the fractional amount. Many recipes are listed as serving 6 or 8etc, but the app has no way to record 1/6 or 1/8 of a recipe. Rendering the new ‘create a meal feature’ virtually useless. -the app locks the user out of meal logging once fasting has started, so if you are someone that logs your food later rather than immediately, you are out of luck once the fasting clock has started. Unfortunately did not uncover these items in the short trial period but going to ask for a refund if these items are not resolved.

Ad misleading, weight loss recommendation laughable. The ad I was served showed someone taking a photo of food and the app displaying calories. Implausible that would work well, but if someone out there is making Hot Dog / Not Hot Dog from Silicon Valley, I wanted to see it. The two things I discovered were: 1. Nothing about this app appears to be photo-based. You just enter foods as in MyFitnessPal or any number of other apps. 2. I entered accurate biometric data, and the app recommended that I could lose 9# per week as a “moderate approach” but that if I wanted to get “intense” I could do 13. And the “moderate” approach had me losing that weight on 1900 calories a day, with me stating my activity level as the lowest setting. These recommendations are neither physiologically plausible nor advisable. I hope this is a bug and not the intended functionality - I even checked my profile in the app to make sure my data had been saved correctly. Maybe some issue on the back end is storing my 215 lb body weight as kg, and that’s screwing with the recommendations (?). In any case, there are far better apps out there for this purpose. I’d recommend MacroFactor.

WHY. when adding a food item — because the existing entries literally make ZERO sense— am I only able to select ounces or fluid ounces per unit, and HAVE TO select one or the other. IT MAKES NO SENSE. Why can I not select cups or grams or LITERALLY ANY OTHER STANDARD UNIT OF MEASUREMENT. Trying to be healthy is already confusing enough for the extreme majority of people, we don’t need an app pretending to help and just making it worse. So frustrated and have literally only had this app for less than 10 mins. Do not get it if you’re ND. Want to give 0 stars for how frustrated this has made me already in the short time I’ve had it but unfortunately can’t. I guess the barcode scanner feature is okay, so there you go. Edit: ALSO NO OPTION TO MODIFY MEAL PLANS TO ACCOUNT FOR ALLERGIES. Literally unless you have absolutely no considerations you’d like to account for in your planning/access, just stay away from this app and save your money. Utterly ridiculous.

Awesome!. Hi! This is a really good app! Being a serial dieter I have tried them all! This one is very intuitive without the “reward” and “punishment” colors or emojis that I really disliked in other apps. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there is a problem with the sorting that would be REALLY easy for the devs to fix and make the app so much better! The search feature should be able to be done within the sub categories such as, “All,” “Favorites,” “My Entries” and “My Meals”. The way it is now, if you want to add a food and you’ve built a nice library of favorites, if you try to search within your favorites, it searches all food. It takes so much typing to get to the one you want. That’s really frustrating. If the devs can’t change this, at lease put the “favorites” in alphabetical order so if we have to scroll to get an idea we will know how far down we have to go. Thanks for considering!

Issues with the new update. Since the new update I can no longer add my own food items and take a pic for them. The app freezes every time and I have to close it out to get to the main screen. Prior to this update, I loved this app despite some nutrient counts being slightly off for pre-populated food items. Being able to add my own was an easy workaround. However, if I can’t upload my own foods then I may need to find a new app.

Better than MyFitnessPal. The interface is really easy to use and there’s a history feature that saves your recent meals for ease of logging. I also like the fasting feature that notifies you when it’s time to start/stop as well as blacks out your meals for the period of the fast so you can’t log (gives you the choice to log if needed). Really great job to the creators.

Okay not great. Things I Like and Dislike 1. Like: You can scan a barcode so the app automatically inputs the nutritional info; and it’s recognized almost everything I have scanned Dislike: once it’s scanned in it defaults to “serving” but you can’t see what the original serving is so you have to then look it up again next time you want to input the food, so if you don’t remember what a serving is then it’s difficult to log it accurately. 2. Like: you can save foods as your favorites Dislike: the favorite list becomes long and no way to sort it easily 3. Like: it can connect to Apple iPhone or watch data for pedometer to track steps and “burned” calories Dislike: it’s not always accurate so I haven’t been sure why it’s different on the app compared to the pedometer 4. Like: you can track macros Dislike: you have no control over macros aside from inputting your gender, weight, activity level, and weight loss goal. Dislike: the app has me having a goal for macros of 114g carbs and 189g protein and 43g fat. I could never reach this goal while only eating 1360 calories AND looking up a 200g protein diet is usually reserved for 220 pound weight lifters (which I am not.).

Beware of subscription. I downloaded the app to try it out and immediately was asked to sign up for trial. I didn’t want to and saw there was an X on the prompt. I was able to start browsing the app and realized it wasn’t for me within a minute or so. I didn’t go through the Apple ID sign-in / double click to agree to anything so I removed the app and thought it was good I at least got to check it out. Then as I usually do, I wanted to ensure nothing was under my subscriptions. To my surprise, this app was listed under current and it said I was on a trial; I canceled it right then and there. Just days later I got a charge for the app! Definitely not happy about this type of tactic. Cannot comment on the app’s purpose since I didn’t end up keeping it but beware of the sneaky subscription.

Love it!. This app is the best of its kind, the interface is simple and beautiful. I can track weight, water, and macros on top of calories, which has a nice time graph for all. Love it! Great barcode scanner, and entering food is quick, exactly how it’s needed. I love tracking my food I used to write it in my notes. If I can make two suggestions to developers, I mean no offense… when I add new food, I wish there was a way that I could combine my foods I had scanned to create one food. For example, I drink the same chia seed smoothie several times a week, and to be accurate I have all ingredients separated out. Well each time I track it, I have to find each ingredient in my favorites and add. When I press the plus button, the screen scrolls up to the top, and then I have to scroll back down again to that area (which can be a long list). If there was a way to make this a custom food that I can add all the ingredients together that I scanned, or, if that list didn’t scroll to the top when pressing the plus… 👌👌👌 Just in case you are taking user suggestions :) Great app, very beautifully designed, does exactly what it’s supposed to do and very efficiently!

I’m new to the app. Been using just a few days. I appreciate that it doesn’t harass me if I miss meal or a day. Seems like a lot of steps to add a food to the daily list of food consumed but I’m getting used to it. I find it difficult to add partial servings since it often doesn’t give the option for tablespoons, cups, and other random measures. When I tried to add a salad from a restaurant (the restaurant listed number of calories on their menu) I was frustrated that I had to fill in something for number of ounces! What?! A salad might be cups but ounces? And the form wouldn’t allow me to bypass that blank. The last app I used gave multiple ways to label the measurements — slices, cups, ounces, large/medium/small serving, etc. It seemed much more accurate. Something for the developers to work on. Also I’ve found no way to directly sync my Fitbit steps without using Apple health — which is too nosy. Further I’ve found no way to manually add steps to this app. There’s an option to add walking duration (how many minutes did you walk?) but not # of recorded steps.

Not for someone who needs to lose a lot. This app is unfortunately not made for someone like me who needs to lose a lot of weight. When I was entering in my information it only gave me two options to lose almost 100lbs in 8 or 10 weeks saying I needed to lose 10+ lbs per week. That is extremely unhealthy! I know the app is not meaning to suggest something so ridiculous, so I’m 100% sure it’s just meant for people who need to lose like 10-15 lbs. I hope they make some updates to include those who want to lose more weight in the right way but we’ll just have to see.

Amazing. I rarely write reviews on AppStore and its usually when i don’t like something. THIS IS THE BEST APP ON THE ENTIRE APPSTORE. It’s working better than fine, it’s simple and clean, and the best thing of all is it’s free. Just the fact that it’s a solid app and it is not trying to pickpocket me for my credit card id or some insane subscriptions fees is amazing. To be honest I saw the add on Instagram and instantly thought it must be a 20$/month or 50$/year (you know like every other app that you find and get disappointed. To sum up my thoughts GOOD WORK, PLEASE DONT RUIN THE APP IN THE FUTURE. I realize that you must make money, but for gods sake, just add the adds.

Great, but has a few bugs. I love this app, I have already had it for a week and it’s great. But there is one problem. The problem is that when I use the treadmill and I do 60 minutes and burn 400 calories it won’t let me put it in and says that “treadmill” is already is the exercise list. That would be ok if when I go on the exercise list and go on “treadmill,” it would let me put in both my calorie burn count and time. Instead, it only lets me put in the time and it assumes (incorrectly) the amount of calories I burned. Note to developers - Please fix this so I can just put in the calories burned off and time when using the elliptical. Thanks

Bought a subscription and the next day it didn’t exist. Long story short I downloaded this app and bought a subscription that lasted a year. Used it that day using the fasting feature and it worked well and then the next morning I went into the app and the fasting feature was no longer there and I was getting adds for premium again. I went to my subscription tab in settings on my phone and the subscription is still active. I also contacted customer support about 5 days ago and I’ve had zero responses. I’m hoping the developers see this and fix my issue.

didn’t keep the app. I would’ve tried this app for longer, im sure it had good qualities. I was just disappointed when filling out my goals, and there wasn’t an option for weight gain. It showed “lose weight, stay fit, or gain muscle” which isn’t what i’m looking for at all. I’ve been trying to find an app that helps me plan meals, and count my calories . I’ve struggled with gaining weight for awhile, so I thought an app would help me. It’s been extremely difficult to find one that can make a plan that works for me. I’m trying another app now, and maybe if this one changes the goals i’ll try it again.

Yet another deception. Zero stars. I installed the app, based entirely on your top review, that said they liked the option to use it for free with basic capabilities. After starting the app, the set up screen wants me to sign up for a pricey subscription, or a “free trial” for three days, then be charged monthly. I am sick of these subscription models. Sorry, but I came into this, when most useful apps were either free, or a one-time $0.99 charge, and developers were making huge amounts of money on millions of sales. If basic capability for free is an option, then provide it! Otherwise, say what it costs up front, instead of misleading us with hints of a free option, and no indication of the price before download.

Water reminder idea. Hey i’ve had this app for a while now and i wanna say i love it. If you’re considering wether or not to pay i would 100% recommend getting it too. i was skeptical about it at first but it’s a really easy app that keeps you on track. One thing i wanna add is possibly adding a water reminder notification. I’m busy all day and often lose track of time and i feel like a water reminder would help me get more water in when im lost doing work. Overall a great app though💯

No option for net carbs?. This is a nice ap, very easy to use compared to the last one I was using. I’m using it to track macros and my biggest gripe is I can’t see how to change the carbs to net carbs. Ex: I use keto bread that’s 13 carbs per slice but since they have 12 g dietary fiber, it’s only 1 net carb per slice, yet the ap is documenting it as 13 carbs… actually 26 carbs for a sandwich, instead of 1-2 carbs every time I eat it. It’s driving me insane! I have no idea if I’m in my carb goal or not because of this. I tried looking to see if I could duplicate a food and then update it with the net carb amount in the carb section and, and then save that food to my favorites but am not seeing how to do that. The only reason I haven’t canceled the subscription and requested a refund is that I otherwise like the ap and I’m hoping it’s a setting I can switch and I just haven’t figured it out yet. I did email support days ago to ask and haven’t heard back….

No good!. I tried the free trial and never received a reminder that the free trial is ending, I am pretty good at keeping track and I went to cancel my subscription in time, how to cancel I’ve very vague, I thought I did so and I got charged $9.99 for a weekly subscription, I contacted support and they tell me developers cannot issue refunds or cancel subscriptions, that it is controlled by iTunes. Am still trying to figure out how to cancel. They say you get 3 days free trial, however, once you get charged after 3 days they consider those free 3 days part of your paid subscription so you will be charged another $9.99 in 4 more days, but you have to cancel 24 hours prior to you subscription renewal otherwise you will be charged for the next weeks subscription. I have never had this much trouble canceling a subscription! Best to avoid this app!

Great app. Missing one key feature. This app works like a charm. Tracking all of your food and water, plus the sync with Apple Fitness makes it easy to use and keep up with your diet plan. The food recommendations are very good as well and the barcode scanner makes it super simple. One thing missing from it and I know a lot of people struggle is there is no cholesterol tracker. Would love to see that added.

Limited. The very very basics - find what you eat, enter it into your daily goal. You can only choose 2 daily goals tho … lose weight or maintain weight - and then you are locked in to what you choose. There is zero flexibility for people that want a more custom way. A lot of the organic and health foods I am eating, are not included. So I have to add, no big deal. After you add a food item, you can’t edit it or look back at it. You can’t see any info of that item after you have added it to your meal. You can’t see it, NOR can you edit it. Let’s say you have 1 egg. You enter 1 egg. You can’t go back and see the nutrition of rust egg. NOR can you add another egg. You have to delete your 1 egg, search for eggs all over again and then add 2 eggs. The remaining fats, calories, and carbs per day is good but also very limiting. Very. Adding in workouts was also pretty clumsy I think. I want an app that can also suggest things. This app seems like a good start for someone that is just starting out in nutrition to be more conscious, but for an athlete for someone serious about a training goal - it is missing a lot.

Loving HitMeal. HitMeal helps me be more mindful about my health. I track my meals which also helps me make good choices. It helps me do fasting. I also enjoy the fun recipes recommended for different diets like postpartum. One thing that could improve is offering statistics on the rest of the nutritional values like vitamins. It would be great to have those values as well included in the app nutritional balance diary.

Could improve for the price. This is not the first calorie counter app I’ve used. It’s also not the best. For starters, it doesn’t save your frequent foods, so every day you have to search every item you had for breakfast, lunch or dinner even if it’s the same thing you had for a week. Second, it doesn’t scroll over to the next day automatically. It’s so silly but you want to click the least possible to get over with recording your food and having to go up on the page to find the day you’re on feels too much work. Third, it doesn’t track fiber. Maybe this is an app that doesn’t really care about health but only about loosing weight but fiber is super important. Other apps do all the things I mentioned before for the same price. I’m a bit disappointed. Should have kept my old apps.

Ehhh. I like the features it has for the water and how the app is simple to use. But I immediately requested a refund within an hour of buying. Which the developers can’t do. You have to go through Apple. The kcals do not match up to the item. Even when I scan the barcode. The calories, carbs, etc are all drastically off. Enough to here it could offset a deficit. It told me my breakfast sandwich I made was well over 800 calories when it was only 200. That was tracking everything and marking everything. It’s not something that knows of a bunch of items. Even the Oikos Pro Greek Yogurt wasn’t in their system and was still wrong by 30 calories when I scanned the barcode.

Helpful but missing some things. I opted for this app because it was the suggested app for Apple devices. I paid for my membership, so I am reluctant to move onto another program. This does a fine job for tracking macros, but is surprisingly difficult in a few areas. 1. It does not seem to recognize the foods that I prefer or record regularly. Even when marking them as favorite foods, I still have to type the full name out for it to come up, and even then, scroll down a list to find them. 2. Often, I scan the barcode only to find the information recorded in the app is different than provided on the container. I’ve even found it to be a different product altogether. 3. I have mistakenly recorded information in either the wrong meal or for the wrong day, and it would be helpful to simply click the items and change that meal/day rather than delete everything and start over. 4. I have my water intake set to 8 ounce cups and for whatever reason it will not allow me to add one cup at a time. When I hit the +, it adds 2 cups. Outside of these things, it does the job.

It’s ok. I expected more and simpler food logging, but it’s just a difficult as any other app Also expected more for a summary of nutrients but same basic info there as well. Wish I didn’t jump for the full year purchase of $20. I suppose if I just did the free trial I wouldn’t have judged so strongly but still… it isn’t alllll that Also it is disappointing that you can’t enter nutrition goals - for example, i don’t want to be on keto, but I would like to target a lower carb value per day.. you can’t do that here.

Don’t bother. This app is so limited and structured so tight there’s no options or flexibility. The meal plans and recipes are the only thing I like about it. If you want to eat a lunch meal for dinner you can’t get it to enter onto the dinner diary. It only goes to lunch. You can’t add your own recipes nor can you copy a days meal to another day. You can’t even enter the next days meals ahead of time (planning ahead!). You have to wait till after midnight to enter the next day. There’s no way to adjust your goal calories or macro nutrients. There’s no community or friend sharing with other app users to congratulate friends or share your own accomplishments. You can’t copy in recipes from the internet but have to type every single ingredient in every time. Don’t bother getting this app or spending the money to even be able to use it. There is no free version. My advice is go with My Fitness Pal. It does all this for free and if you want more, (yes it does more than this too) you can go premium and open a whole new set of tools and helpful items. I am regretting spending any $ at all on this. Only reason I didn’t give it 1 star is I like the recipes. Go elsewhere!!

Love app. I really love this app. It works really great with what I need it for. The only thing I wish is when creating a recipe it would allow you to add how many servings that recipe is for and then once you add to your tracker then you can add how much of it you ate. Good example is I make homemade coffee creamer. When I add in the ingredients to make this is creates a whole jar which isn’t one serving it’s about 10. I wish I could add and then add the tablespoons etc I used. I do think that portion is a little limited but other then that this app is great!

Great MFP replacement. I’ve been looking for an alternative to MFP for a while now and so far this is the best option. I actually think the user interface is a lot better and love that it asks you your goals and automatically suggests macros and calories. However there’s just a few small differences that make me hesitant to switch. First being that there are no support for widgets which I rely on to remind me to log and keep up with my goals. I think it would be an amazing addition to the app to offer widgets for quick adding and viewing of counts from the Home Screen. My second issue is that when I downloaded the app and at the time of writing, the App Store page advertises 50 percent off the subscription price and in the app there is absolutely no mention of this. Seems kind of odd to me.

Best calorie counter app!. I don’t usually write reviews but this app is so great that I really want to share my experience. I tried many different calorie counters and most of them a very complicated. HitMeal is very well designed and very easy and intuitive to use. Much better then many other apps I tried like MyFitnessPal and others. Yet it has all the features I need. And the best part is that app is free at least at the moment. Would recommend this to everyone who cares about its diet and food.

great app!!!!!. This app has helped me overcome my over eating issues. This easy to navigate app makes it fun and easy to count calories and keep healthy nutritious foods in my diet. I love how you can look up foods and get the exact thing you’re eating (brand specific and food specific). 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to stay healthy and help themselves lose weight!

Want my money back. I have no idea why this app has such great re. I paid ~$20 for a year subscription because the alternative weekly was so much more expensive. Here’s why I want my money back: 1. The barcode scanner on this app PULLS UP THE WRONG ITEM AND WRONG NUTRITION INFORMATION. If you type it in it sometimes finds it. When it does the nutrition information is correct even though the barcode scan showed totally different nutritional. 2. When it can’t find your food and do a quick manual entry, it doesn’t ask for fiber. 3. You can’t see macros for individual meals; 4. It doesn’t allow you to import recipes-so you have to type it all manually. Save your money and get Myfitnesspal for free. This app stinks!

HOW COULD IT GET ANY BETTER. I just started working out and weight lifting consistently two weeks ago for my weight gain journey. And I simply wanted a tracker for my calories to assure I’m consuming enough to really gain weight along with lifting. I saw this app with such a cute icon btw. AND ITS MORE THAN I EVER WANTED. It tracks EVERYTHING, your water consumption, & lets you to pick the foods you’ve eaten down to the serving & BRAND! It even gives u recipes along with the meal suggestions and meal plans. And then even makes a grocery list for you to shop for everything you’ll need for the week for these meals. This is EXACTLY what I needed. Really dope app

Needs Updates. I like this app, but it needs some updates. Having an icon to select dates in calendar form will make viewing past logged entries easily accessible. Right now we have to scroll to find a date which is time consuming. Also some of the nutrition that’s automatically set is incorrect. Enabling us to edit that for our personal profile only would be great. I know we can edited the ones we put in, but allowing us to edit all of them based on our needs would be beneficial instead of us having to create a new food. If the app had those updates, I’d give it 5 stars!

1kcal=1000cal. The first thing I noticed when I opened the app is the inaccurate information between cal and kcal. In the medical field kcal= 1000 calories. I tried to bring up this concern to the dev and was told no they are the same. They really are not, I tried to explain the difference and their response was to send me a blog post. Not a medically backed document but a blog post that anyone can write. I shot back multiple medical conversation tables as well as medical studies and honestly I’m abhorred at this app. Comparing the calories of the same food from multiple apps and health sites. The ones in this app is grossly off. I thought this app could help because it had great reviews but I find it will be detrimental to people’s goals with the lack of accuracy. Even the response from the developer is disrespectful lol.

Not Free. First this app is not free as it states when it comes up, you have to pay a subscription. Second the scanner never works, it’s constantly keeps scanning and when it finally stops does not even give you the item option. When you do search for the items the nutrion facts are never the same. We should just be able to have the option to take a picture of it and the system automatically enter it, or at least give the more options beside oz/fl oz or even the serving size. For women, it should also have the option to input menstrual cycles as this cause fluctuations and water retention and we can better see how this is affecting the progress. There’s a reason why they don’t give a trial, I will just leave it at that.

Regret Buying. I regret paying for premium version. Some nutrients are listed in the individual food items but there is no view in the app to see or track your daily individual nutrients. Editing food items in meals defaults it to 1 serving size or the default serving making small edits cumbersome. The calendar view is annoying only giving you a single row to click through rather than a proper date picker. Scrolled to far forward or too far back and want to go back to today? Sorry, no button for that. There’s also a limit to how far back you can look?? What?? I can only look back one month. Unfortunately this seems like a calorie tracker for those that aren’t actually taking their nutrition seriously, and I would not recommend anyone pay for premium given the current state of this app. It seems they have valued making the application pretty rather than functional and useful.

Needs More Customization. This is a cool app for tracking your meals and water intakes. At this point I am using it mostly for the food database because of a few shortcomings. Where it does need a little work is working with more advanced users both technically and nutritionally One example is if you are already working with a nutritionist, have very specific goals, or if you know what you are doing and would need to enter custom macros. The app does not allow for that which is kind of frustrating. So I ignore the app suggestions and run a tally based on what I have already eaten. The other downside for me is the lack of shortcuts. I’m not going to open the app every time I finish my water bottle. I need something more practical so I started to track that separately with the Apple Health app. That way I can just tap an nfc tag and log my water intake. These days shortcuts are a must for any apps!

3 things I like/ 3 things that could improve the experience. Like: 1. The interface is intuitive, simple and easy to use. 2. It tracks everything I need it to track, including fasting intervals. 3. It is affordable. Improvement: 1. Include an 18:6 option for fasting. 2.The app could be more flexible with portions, macros, and serving sizes, times and dates. The user could adjust all features when needed. It feels like a one size fits all. 3. Include more dietary options such as Paleo, WW, vegan, etc Overall, a very good app!

Zero support. Although I enjoy using the app itself, I have reached out multiple times using the contact, provided with questions and have received no response. I even commented on their social media thinking maybe someone would respond… They did not. Very disappointed, and will most likely choose a different app to use… why develops some thing, and then not offer users any sort of support or answer questions…? Very disappointing..

5 star app. 1 star support.. I have the full paid for app and have been using the app for a few months now and track everything all day everyday. This app has been a huge help and big eye opener but the owners need to do a few things different and get some updates going. 1. Make the calculator where you can change your parameters to your own needs and not just some randomness they decide. I bought the subscription so I could and you can’t. 2. There are tons of new foods coming out all the time and there are some that are just nonexistent on the app but other apps have them. New or old. It goes both ways. 3. Smaller brands/Stores/Gas stations. There’s a lot of different places to shop and some of other places are no where to be found on the app. Big gas station names like Casey’s should be there. They have their own stuff and sometimes these stores have special sizes and macros that aren’t there. 4. Fast food places like subway and or a few others really need to be updated and added to. I’m sure tons of people are using subway and others to get by sometimes and it would be great if you could just type in ANYTHING you got and not have to add a new food and go off a menu online until you get everything saved and tracked.

Like it!. I do like the app , i use it since the beginning of this year to track my calorie and mostly protein intake. There is a thing I would add to to have it perfect ! When we have the breakfast , lunch titles , it shows the calorie intake for each of them , but not the amount of protein , fats and carbs eaten on this particular meal. I am tracking my calorie intake and proteins and I would love to see my protein for each meal. Now before logging the lunch for example I have to check the protein for breakfast and see the difference from the total . I hope that make sense 🙈it does in my head

Great App & Would Definitely Recommend. I love this app already and I’ve only had it for only 2 days. Much better than MyFitnessPal. Only thing I wish is the meal plans were more in depth with portion sizes and recipe instructions. Also wish there was a weight loss meal plan option. But for the most part, the meal plans stay in a good caloric range for someone on a calorie deficit. Just wish there was a meal plan specifically labeled for weight loss/calorie deficit.

Good But…. This app is easy to use. There’s a good amount of food already in the system for barcode scanning, and I can take pictures of my own foods if entering a new one. I can save favorite foods that I eat often so they’re easy to add and I don’t have to scan a barcode every time I eat something. A lot to like, HOWEVER, it drove me absolutely insane that their units of measurement are non-comprehensive. If adding my own food, it would only give me the option to add fl oz or ml when I’m not even adding a liquid, so instead I’d like to see tbsp, cup, oz, etc. but those don’t exist. Because of this limitation, it wasn’t accurately tracking my quantity. Also, I wish there was a space, a note section if you will, to add something about the food. For example, one serving size of a brand of breakfast sausages is 3 links, but I can’t put that in anywhere. It’ll just record as “1 serving”. So I have to then remember the serving size (according to a food package) for so many different foods. Imagine liking and buying five different types of breakfast sausage and they each have their own serving size, and you just have to automatically know and remember when you input which sausage brand has which serving size. For these reasons, I deleted the app and am searching for a new one.

Very good app!. I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 67. So of course now I have to really watch what I eat. Went through a TON of food apps till I found HitMeal! This is perfect for my situation. Not complicated at all! So many other apps try to cram TOO much data in. Keeps track of the macros that I need to keep an eye on. (Might be a little better if it also kept track of sugar, hint, hint?) Huge food database and super easy to enter custom foods. Pushes me on my water intake. Also can customize the daily meal macros to match what your Dr recommends. Only thing I really don’t use is the weight portion as I use another app for that that has a little more in depth analysis. Meal idea section. Of course, your mileage may vary but for me this app is perfect. Overall 5 star rating!!

No No No. First day using it and NOT enjoying the experience. The options for entering units for your own food if they don’t have it are limited. For example tbsp as unit of serving is NOT an option. Also, if you mess up entering in your logged meal you CANNOT edit it. Once it is saved that is it. Now I HAVE used other calorie counters…. For example with Noom and that was SUPER easy and user friendly. It also allowed corrections. This one is okay but still needs tweaking . Try it on free subscription first. DO NOT commit. I canceled my subscription. Okay so I gave this a ONE STAR review and it won’t accept my review. I changed it to a little higher and it let the review go through.

Barcode sometimes doesn’t scan. The app is nice and simplistic, which is why I have the year subscription. It’s frustrating when barcodes won’t scan, which has been about 20% of my experiences so far on Lean Cuisines and other frozen dinner meals. You have to pull the camera farther away than you would expect, and easy scanning is the reason why I picked this app over MFP or others, so I wish it was tweaked a little.

Liars. Advertising a free app but it’s not free at all

I love this I think you will love it too. I love this I think you will love it too

More help in app. It needs to have information on all foods

Easy to use. Just got this app and it makes counting calories so much easier, plus the price is amazingly affordable for me and is just a good app overall

Firat. It has been a great help. I can keep calorie, carb, protein and fat intake. I used it all the time and helps me to educate myself further. It would be great, if there was a sugar intake as well.

Not User Friendly and too slow!. Takes forever to load the barcode scanner. When using the quick add from previous entries it glitches and takes you back to the top the list. Hard to find foods as well, only success is scanning. Moved to a different app

Awesome app ♥️. I love this app and very easy to use . Only downside is you don’t have the option for egg white or egg yolk intake. My breakfast contains of 3 eggs but only one egg yolk and I can’t record the right amount of calories because it only calculates 3 whole eggs . All and all it’s a very good app.

Less than honest advertising. Please be honest with the public. This app is NOT free, it offers a 3-day free trial, then $11 per week (less for annual payment).

Outstanding app!. This is what i was looking for and i will be happy to pay for it, good job guys! Great intuitive design so special applause for UI UX designers.

Misleading. Barcode scanner, meal plans and recipes all become available only when you purchase a subscription. Can only select foods through a search bar on the free version.

Not upfront about subscription costs. 10.99 a week is far too steep for what this app offers and this isn’t presented upfront, you only find out the cost after you have downloaded

Too expensive.. Too expensive.

Customer service. I cancelled my subscription few months ago but the payment wasn’t stoped. Try to contact them, but didn’t get an answer.

Disappointed. It’s a Fantastic app but once you uninstall it and try to sign in it loses all your days record. There’s also no sign in button so you create an account from scratch. That dampened my entire experience.

No really free. The app says it’s free but then goes straight to a payment option after answering some upfront personal questions after downloading it. Don’t waste time downloading unless you want to

FODMAPS. Hi, I am considering HitMeal as the app to track meals that my clients will be eating. I did notice coloured dots next to each ingredient, does mean your App recognises FODMAP foods? Thank you.

Poor UX design. Very confusing to use. I tried to add a recipe for a raw dessert. The amount of cake for the whole recipe was horrendous and I couldn’t figure out how to create it log just a serve. My attempts to do this resulted in me adding the whole recipe to one diary entry 3 or 4 times and there is no clear way to delete them 😤 Now waiting on support to respond.

Waste of money. If I could give this app - 10 I would!! The scanner does not work The macros are off Data base is vague Only tired it for 10mins tried to refund and they do NOT refund you for its fault features !!! DO NOT BUY THIS APP there is better ones out there, I have found another macro calorie app that is far superior and I am just furious that a company like AIBY in cooperated would not refund me for a product that does not work !! Under consumer laws we should be entitled to a refund if your sold a FAULTY product !

Love it. Only just got this app. Signed up for the trial but by the end of the day I subscribed to the discounted yearly rate - I loved it that much after 1 day. I found it so easy to enter what I was eating and am keen to try the barcode feature to see how it works. I love that it links with my Apple Watch and exercise is automatically transferred from that in addition to becoming no able to manually add a variety of exercise types. The app is really easy to use and it’s so valuable to be able to see at a glance where you are at for the day at the top of the diary page. I haven’t used the recipes and meal planners yet but have looked through them and can see they would be useful. I’m hoping the recipe section expands over time as I’m always on the lookout for new recipes that taste good. I have found this to be a great app - especially with the discounted yearly subscription and the fact it includes Australian supermarket food and metric units.

Expensive for a basic app.. Not free.

Refund extremely difficult & design issues. If you think you will just get a refund when you discover the App isn’t that great, forget it - it’s made a very difficult process so you won’t bother. Also, the App doesn’t allow editing of activities if you enter something by mistake, nor does the activity list include day to day activities such as driving, vacuuming, housework, physical work etc etc. so calorie count is inaccurate.

Took money for a free trial. Agreed for a free trail and the app took $9.99 out of my account.

No scanner?. Definitely does not scan as shown in the preview !

Nutrition information. Hey, I would like to know about nutrition information like Cronometer app! Could you please add this feature. Like how much fiber this food contains and if it is IBS friendly or not

Inaccurate and misleading. This app seeks good on the surface but diving deeper it is a waste of time and money. This app is very misleading. Meals are presented to be low calorie and each is meant to tell you the precise calorie value however it does not include quantities for everything in the recipe. A lot is left to guess works. Example: it will say half a piece of avocado, when it should be telling you the gram weight that you require. Saying simply half a piece is not accurate when determining the calories and therefor the information given by the app is inaccurate. The images for the meals are not accurate either, this leads me to believe they haven’t actually been cooked by anyone developing this app. Example: image for Fajitas is an image of a quinoa salad. This app also tries to be inclusive and has the gender option for non binary however this will result in you having a female avatar presented as yourself. This may not be an issue for many but if an app is trying to be inclusive they need to do better.

Awesome. Love it

Useless. Such a useless app just wasted $30 on this

Food scanner. Only interested in the food scanner how do I get it to work … downloaded app but no scanner available!

Feedback. Says it’s free but isn’t

So far amazing. Only real complaint is I have been trying to manually write in the nutrition and it never lets me do a decimal (for e.g 1.5). It has been a little frustrating, other than that it is great!

Bills.. I paid for one bill of $28.99 a year. Just to open the app. Then it wants another $57.99 to access the one thing I went there for. The meal plans. I’d like to find an app that people who are also trying to BUDGET can also loose weight instead of EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING trying to milk money out of the people who are trying to eat healthy. And loose the weight they didn’t want. Thanks. Zero stars.

Recipes and customer service👎. The biggest issue I’m having is with the recipes which is why I signed up in the first place. You look up the recipe you want and it gives you all the ingredients and method but the ingredients don’t match up to the calories per serving and it doesn’t tell you how many people the recipe serves. Some you can clearly see it’s one serving but others there’s just no way in hell it’s a single serve!! To top it off I emailed customer service over a week ago and I have not heard a response yet! Thinking of cancelling to be honest!

Where’s fiber?. Would have been much better if fiber was included in the macros. How can you expect to have a good balanced diet without fiber?

Future app update. I’d like to see in the future an update that’ll make you be able to take away breakfast and then the calories count from breakfast spreads out over lunch and dinner as I’m not really a breakfast eater due to my fasting times TIA other than that I love the app fairly easy to use

Asking for money straight away. No trial period was offered. There is not enough food item available to select.

Rip off. Downloaded and signed up for free trial, couldn’t sign in and couldn’t cancel, was then charged over $20 and tried to contact them and got an automated response which was no help. Pretty much a scam in my eyes.

It needs work. From a quick glance the app seems great, but it’s needs a lot of work. - once you go over your macros- carbs, fats etc it doesn’t show how much you’ve gone over. - it doesn’t allow you to choose your own macros - it doesn’t allow you to copy foods or meals to the next day - doesn’t allow you create your own meals to save. Overall yes it’s a very easy app to use, and if your simply wanting to track calories it’ll do the job. Also there is no help/ support for questions. I’ve sent 2 requests for help via the app and a msg on IG and no one has bothered to get back to me. Had high hopes but I would rather just pay for another app.

Love it. Absolutely love the app, great recipes. I love how it gives you and idea of what calories you should be eating per meal. Would love it if I was able to use the app to make my own plan and shopping list using the recipes. I am a fussy eater and a lot of the meals in the plans given are not favourable.

Bad. You have taken money out of my account 2 times after i cancelled the subcription, if you continue to take my money i will bring you to the police and have you charged.

Calories. 1 day in the app and love it but the calories aren’t exact. Eg: protein chips clearly states on the packet it’s 140cal but the app says 120cal. Other than that no complaints. This app is great.

Happy with the app 1 day in. Only annoying thing is asking for a review constantly everytime I log in to add a food.

Not for Australia. First three common items scanned and not found. And how sick are we of these overpriced subscription models? $6.99 a week?? Come on. Show me some value first.

I recommend for people new to diets. This app is probably on of the best when it comes to diets, they have recipes for all health requirements and if your trying to lose weight. If you dont know how many calories is in your food you can scan the barcode into the app or also take a picture. I bought a year subscription for $28.99 and boy has it been worth it 😏

Cannot scan food in Australia. Most of the food doesn’t exist and it isn’t shared ahead of payment. Now I have paid for 1year and have to manually enter all data? Makes no sense

Good app but WAYYYY to EXPENSIVE!!!. Good app but WAYYYY to EXPENSIVE!

Subscription amount. Not worth it. Very less features!

We will see. Just started using this app will see how it works

Confused. Not sure why I have to pay for the scanner feature- myfitnesspal is included with the free part. It’s annoying every time I log in I get harassed with an ad to pay. I’m still feeling it out, I’ll give it a week and then I think MyFitnessPal wins…I’ll get back to you. Please let me know if I’m Missing something.

Recalculate. Everything is great but the recalculate button doesn’t work

Scanner. If the food scanner worked it would be a 10/10

Unable to delete or modify added meals on calorie tracker. I take pride in navigating most applications easily. But oh my goodness, it is impossible to delete an meal entry. Why am I googling “how to delete meal entry on hit meal”. This should be easy to find and do. I shouldn’t even be here writing a review, but the app made me so frustrated. It’s been 30 minutes now and I’m still not able to delete a meal entry. Please do better

Does not take pictures of food. Purchased the 1 year subscription since the app was advertised on Facebook as being able to detect food calories through photo recognition App will only scan bar codes :(

Doubtful. I don't know whether it's showing correctly... I do not want precise numbers but something close works for me... This app is showing that I'm burning calories even when I sit idle. When I ride my bike, it misinterprets that I'm walking and adds it to the “activity tracker” as I'm walking and burning these many calories. Also, counts the same steps for daily steps and adds to the overall burned calories... Overall, the function of this app is very uncertain. However, we can use it to track what we consume which would definitely be helpful to maintain a healthy diet :)

Unimpressed. Thought this would be a good app, clicked for the free trial and it immediately billed my credit card for a full year subscription, not happy that it billed me for something that I wasn’t even sure that I wanted.

Not bad. This isn’t a bad app but I’d like to see some features that currently aren’t available. It would be great to have the ability to upload recipes, allow the user to add foods as I found some foods I eat are not in the database and easily choose metric or not when adding food amounts. If some of these enhancements are done I would look at changing the number of stars.

Misleading Ads on Instagram. There’s no barcode scanner that shows you “good” and “bad” details. It’s just used for food logging. Not as advertised.

NOT free!. Don’t get suckered into believing this app is free! They lie!

Not made for Canadians. Way too much processed American foods listed. You only have the option of imperial or metric- in canada we use both. Not sure how it calculates but I’d need to eat about 3 full chickens a day to get the protein requirements I don’t think it’s worth the money to subscribe and won’t renew

App sucks. How foolish are you to develop an app to keep track of your meals and nutrition without any editing options?

I wish I could give negative stars. brilliant app developers failed to see that: calories consumed minus calories burned, does not reflect net calorie balance. (Accounting active calories is toggled off) messaging their team is a farce too since all you get is an automated reply. Cheaply made scam

Misleading. I was under the impression that this app was FREE unless I wanted to upgrade to use premium Even though all I did was fill in my basic info, I was automatically charged for this app!!!!!!

It’s good but. I love the way it looks and customizing your servings but it’s one of the few apps that doesn’t give you the bar code scanner for free.

Flexible. Doesn’t force me to eat a minimum amount of calories and is fine with me setting an underweight goal which other apps do not~

Rip off. Using the app now for two days, at no point did I ever agree to pay for the subscription as it was advertised as a “free app”, come to find out it charged my credit card. Unbelievable

Just ok. There’s a few good things to like about this app such as the design/layout but after using a competitor before and more often I didn’t really want to use this app - for example more often than not I found the scanner to not work or pick up the upc codes and I would have to do more manual entering than expected. So I went back to the competitor and will continue with that.

False advertising. Downloaded after ad showing free app there is no free version just a small trial period.

Misrepresented. The ad for this app on fb suggested that this app could take a picture of food and tell the amount of calories or representation of the contents such as carbs, fats and proteins. I went to try this app and found there was no such option. Why would you falsely advertise this app to do more than it actually does?

Lost information/ tracking calories. Downloaded the app yesterday and logged everything. Woke up this morning and took a look at yesterday’s log, only the breakfast section remained. Almost enough to make me remove the app and definitely enough to cancel the subscription.

glitch. the app was very good in the beginning now its bugging i cant tap anything. everytime i open it it doesnt work… its bugging

Terrible usability. Not to be mean, but it took me 15 mins to enter my breakfast, still lacks accuracy, terrible design. Maybe some people find it useful. Also asked for a refund they didn’t respond.

Minimal. A bit shocked that there is no way to find your total micronutrients for the day or even a meal. Why can I see the micronutrients in each individual food item but I get no tally per meal or even the day. Tracking macros is incredibly easy so this app is pretty redundant.

??. Started off great, then just wouldn’t load. What is this? A prototype?

Not free. It’s not free

Great so far. Great so far

Great overall. Really enjoying the app, only thing I wish it did was calculate net carb for those on KETO. sucks seeing my carb intake look like I’ve went over when in reality I didn’t.

Can’t correct mistakes.. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t look properly but I even checked the FAQ and there’s no way to correct a mistake you’ve made when entering information about the recipes you consume. I accidentally added a recipe twice for 2 servings (so basically 4 times the amount of calories) when I only wanted to do it once and it completely ruined everything. There’s no way to go back and remove or cancel anything. Tried to go to the FAQ and see how to fix that issue but I couldn’t find anything. I deleted the app simply because of that. If I can’t correct mistakes I make or change misinformation, then the app is basically useless unless you enter the information perfectly every single time with no mistakes. So if I’m wrong please let me know because the app was pretty cool otherwise.

App. I’m surprised that such an app is so user friendly. It also tracks every important factors to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Pricing options are vague. Seems like a great app but their pricing seems very odd. When i tried to select a plan option there were 13 options all for varying price with no description as to what the difference was between said options. The only description was the billing cycle. why is there 6 HitMeal Premium yearly subscriptions for varying price as seen below. Aka what am i paying for?? $24.99 $31.99 $39.99 $49.99 $50.99 $69.99

App. I’d like to be able to take pic of bar codes so we could get calorie from that when we can find food in the list

Not free. Before downloading it said it was no charge. Free app from reviews. Nope. $12. Something weekly? No way.

Love the App. This app is everything I have been looking for!! After my free trial I am moving to a one year plan!! I love the meals in the clean eating plans and the fact that I can log my meals and see how many calories I have consumed daily is absolutely amazing!! This helps me know how many calories I should burn in my workouts too! I would Def recommend to everyone on a weight loss journey! Also I think it saves me the cost of getting a dietician too👍🏽👍🏽

Really great app but no way to post allergies. I love the app but for meal plans I frequently get meals with thing so am allergic to. I think it would be nice if there was a way to tell the app your allergies for a better user experience.

Cancelled my subscription and still charged me. Cancelled my subscription and they changed me 4 days after I cancelled my subscription.

Disappointed. Very user friendly but the quick add nutrition information isn’t anywhere close to accurate. I have to input my own with the accurate fat and carbs etc. and when I say not accurate I mean off by 100-300 calories off. So not at all accurate. Disappointing

Needs a lot of work. This ap needs a lot of work. I wish I could get a refund. It’s very inaccurate when counting macros. Very hard to find a simple food to enter. MyFitnessPal is way better.

Apple Watch. Would be a perfect app if there was a Apple Watch add on

Ok but limited. App is ok, tracking activities and water intake. It lacks some food items but you can add them manually if you have all the items (and patience). In my opinion the limitation of 3 meals a day (breakfast lunch and dinner) are not sufficient and the app should allow to add more, personalized meals meals a day e.g. morning snacks and morning afternoon etc. the fasting feature works but could provide more information such as what’s happening to your body after x hours of fasting.

Not free. Just downloaded the app, and it’s asking to pay weekly after the trial expires

Good first impressions. Love it so far. You do not need to pay for the subscription btw - they hide the x in the top right. So far it’s been fantastic, very well designed and a pleasure to use. Shame on you tho devs for hiding the ‘x’ on the subscription fee screen - y’all should take a shower

They think people can be “non-binary”. The first question HitMeal asks you when setting up the app is “How do you identify yourself?” and the options are male, female, and non-binary. There is no such thing as a “non-binary” person. Please don’t take any health or nutrition advice from someone who thinks people can be anything other than male or female, nor from people who think your gender identity matters for that advice.

Great looking interface but that’s it. This app is the most attractive calorie counter but it’s super basic. You can’t change your calorie or macro targets, it sets them for you and that’s it. No support, I messaged them through the app, one twitter and on IG and never got a response. Back to hoping MFP spruces up the environment. This isn’t cutting it for me.

Directions. I wanted to download HitMeal to gain weight, when it asked me what direction I was taking I didn’t know what to pick because I was just trying to gain weight.

Great for calories counting. Most of the time the QR doesn’t work. It opens black. So I need to log out and then log in into the app like 3 times to make it work.

Can’t identify food. False advertising. I took a picture of my plate and it gave me a list of 20 things to choose from. It was potatoes and eggs. But it would only allow me to enter one because it recognized everything as one food. It would’ve been easier just to input the calories myself

So Far So Good But…. I like this app so far! It’s aesthetically pleasing and is easy to use for the most part. I just cannot figure out for the life of me how to update my weight and see my progress. Help!

Love it!!. Already eating good and seeing weight lost. You should definitely try this app out, very helpful and motivating.

App stopped working. Was using app during day for first time. All of a sudden it stopped working properly. I can’t log anything. Can’t select anything. Very rarely something will select after being tapped, but its slow. Then I can’t select anything. It’s frozen. All other apps work fine on my phone.

No matter what, you will pay either $20/year or $10/week!. You will get a choice between $20 per year if you just sign up and start paying. If you want to evaluate what you will be paying for, you'll lose the $20 per year plan and will have to pay $9.99 per week. Misleading. Use My fitness pal. It at least let's you try it out and has a free version.

Love it. Super easy to use and easy to understand makes life much more simple

Macros. App has improved since I bought. However, please make it to where users are able to edit their macros. That’s seriously crucial for weight loss.

More options.. I enjoy this app but there are 2 things I wish it had: (1) I wish the database for the scans was larger & (2) I wish you could enter your target macros for those that macro count like myself. It only provides the option of choosing your weight loss goal.

Just fine!. Doesn’t go very well with desi cuisines! Their are other apps with same money offering many other cuisines. Overall app is smooth!

Doesn’t count all macros. I wish I could see a total of all my macros like my sugar intake for the day instead of only being able to see carbs protein and fat instead I have to calculate my sugars and other stuff on my own hopefully there is a update that can get all the things to be calculated

Not okay. This app is generally good for keeping healthy and fit, but what is absolutely atrocious is that this app advertises fasting. Fasting is very unhealthy for your body and and for mental health. Starving yourself is not a good way to lose weight. It causes lack of necessary nutrients and lowers your metabolism. Absolutely horrible that this app is promoting eating disorders.

Very limited. Can’t do a lot with this app. I pretty much eat some of the same food daily and when I look through the history you find the items you ate but you can only add one at a time! If you want to add multiple items it refresh itself and you have to scroll down a long list to find other items.

Definitely needs some changes but okay overall. I really wish this app connected to my Fitbit as I don’t have my phone in my hand 24/7 and I don’t have an Apple Watch. I also wish you could make changes to the macros.

Do not download!!. This app is a complete fake. The ad is incredibly misleading as it leads you to believe that the app can track calories via pictures you take of food. This left a bad taste in my mouth and is really just annoying more than anything. What a waste of time! I hope this gets banned from the App Store!

Suggestion. I really like this app. It is a bit difficult to to figure out portions though as most are in grams and the ability to put in half portions would be nice too. Otherwise- this app is great for tracking calorie intake.

This app is confusing. I wish this app could have some type of directions. I’ve been trying to understand how it works but I haven’t been very successful with that yet.

What I’ve wished MyFitnessPal would be.. Functions and looks like what I have always wanted MyFitnessPal to be.

Cancel Membership. Didn’t realize the app was costing me $9.99 every two weeks. Then when I went to cancel it, there wasn’t a button for that. I had to send a message to inquire how to cancel.

It’s ok.. Most of the UI is clean and useful information..Unfortunately the macros are way off. For whatever reason it is telling me to eat over 300 grams of protein daily but my target eight is 210. Seems like .8 to 1 gram of protein is more accurate

Fake review- not free. I downloaded this because the top review said it’s a free app. I’ve been using MyFitnessPal for free for years and wanted to see what other options are out there, but I couldn’t even access this without signing up for a trial. Perhaps it was free when the reviewer downloaded it, but it isn’t anymore.

Everything behind paywall. I really wanted to try this , but a three day trial is nothing. I can’t even take a look around without my credit card info. That’s the quickest way to send me to another app. Maybe find a way to make a lite version and add premium for the rest of the features.

Terrible app. I was hesitant to buy the app but figured I’d give it a try. The barcode scan feature is great but it can’t find anything I scan which makes the scan feature useless. I should have saved myself the $40 and went directly with MyFitnessPal which I ended up buying anyway. Don’t buy this app, nothing about it is user friendly.

Glitchy!. Just downloaded this app to replace MyFitnessPal, I’m completely unable to simply finish the initial setup. Super glitchy, unresponsive, and IF your able to get to the end, an error occurs then freezes. Couldn’t give you an honest review of the app itself as it would appear that you can’t get past the initial setup! If I’m able finally complete the setup, will update .

What A Joke!. For $20 per year, I really thought I’d be getting something more than a mediocre calorie intake monitor. You can’t even add a recipe to this worthless app. Save your money and just use MyFitnessPal for free which has a lot more features than this. I really want my money back. That’s how disappointed I am.

Waste. I’ve been using the weight loss program, called, “lose it “and with it I lost over 35 pounds… I wanted to try this program because of some of the other features it seem to have… Believe me when I tell you compared to “Lose It!“ it’s useless! Don’t waste your money.

Yet another paywall for fitness/health. Can’t even finish entering my personal information before I’m being harassed about monthly plans. Maybe actually offer a free app with basic services, and then have the additional trackers available with a fee. Till that’s fixed, y’all get one star.

They well take your money. I tried this app and canceled it. It was not for me. Now I’m on the phone with apple support because I can’t download anything because it shows that I owe them 4.99. I have to pay for something I don’t want and then request a refund. They trap you into paying horrible app.

Sync nutrition data to Apple Health. This app would be an easy 5 stars if it would just sync its nutrition data to Apple Health. It syncs water logs, but for some reason that is beyond me, it does not sync nutrition data. You’ll have to manually input everything to Apple Health.

coming soon. Hi when are the coming soon features launch? how can i use this app?

Need to fix this. One serious flaw in this app is the inability to remove recently logged foods. When you are logging foods to a meal, you must wade through dozens of past entries to find the particular food you want to enter.

False advertisement. Their advertisements show off an easy to use, simple app that allows you to access different diets, recipes, and exercises. What they don’t tell you is that you need to pay $1-$6 A WEEK. You can’t even see what a good calorie deficit is. You need to pay for everything.

HORRIBLE. You cannot track your individual nutrients. It will not scan a lot of items making you manually put them in. What a pain! It doesn’t allow you to save and create your own meals so you don’t have to enter each item individually.

Didn’t notify end of trial. It’s ok, many just as good if not better for same price. They charged me without notifying free trial period was over and customer service appears to be a bot. When I bring my issue up to them their response is generic how to stop subscription and nothing about notifying trial period ended so buyer beware.

Allergies. Hi developers, I have a request. I have peanut and treenut allergies. I would like to request an option in recipe filters to put food allergies because most of the recipes I see have nuts. Thank you.

Worst App Purchase EVER!. Don’t waste your money. This app has very limited eating plans and the recipes are awful!!! How many recipes have you seen that ask you to add ingredients by servings???? So 1.5 servings of cheese??? Also there is no notice of how many servings a recipe makes. The camera function does not come up with the meal on my plate. It is a total waste of my time and money!!

Can’t edit nutrition facts when they are wrong. Not sure why this is.. but even with the barcode, the nutrition facts for certain foods are wrong and it won’t let you input an edit to it.

Great. I’ve just started trying to count my calories for the first time. I downloaded this app and it has been so easy and user friendly so far.

Better life style. This has helped me drop down to my goal weight! And holds me accountable!

Only oz/Fl oz when creating a meal. If you make your own food and it’s not in there data base for an example a cucumber salad I made I want to be able to track and say how many grams I got but no no option for that only oz or fl oz I don’t understand how that isn’t an option grams are such a common measurement???

Just starting out. I’m brand new to this app, but it is super fast and simple to use. For this current signup price, definitely worth it! Looking forward to results.

Ok app. I like the app, but even the pro feature doesn’t break your macros down by each meal! Really bothers me. Thinking about the switch to my fitness pal instead.

Review is a lie. It cost money immediately. I read a review raving about how this app is free so I downloaded it and went through the trouble of entering all my info then bam, it immediately required a subscription to even use the app. I don’t usually write app reviews but I was annoyed that there are fake reviews with false info as the top reviews on here.

Review requested before using the app.. It’s very annoying when a new app ask for a review almost immediately after opening the app. so, based on my knowledge of this app so far, I’d give it a one star. As I use it, it’s possible my opinion could change. If you want a good review, perhaps you should ask after giving me time to review your app unless your afraid is the results.

False advertising. When looking for a calorie counter this pops up as a free app. However after you download it, it asks a few questions then immediately wants a subscription. THAT IS NOT FREE! Checked the app information and nowhere does it say subscription. Other apps tell you it’s free to download but there is a monthly subscription. Again FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!

20 bucks a year worth it. Super easy to use and easy to track your macros

Not user friendly. Barcode scanner never worked. Tried on several occasions to scan barcodes to enter meals, food, etc and always said item not found. Search feature was useless as well. Unfortunate was really hoping to like this app.
