Decent. On the whole it was worth the few bucks. It is more difficult than some which I like but some of that difficulty seemed forced. And did not like including the app in the puzzles. I takes you out of the story mindset.

Physical Exit games are better. I’ve played a number of the physical Exit games and have enjoyed most of them. But I’ve found the puzzles to be about 1/3 easy, 1/3 hard but satisfying, and 1/3 impossible because they require huge/unsupported deductive leaps. In this game, the proportion of puzzles that fell into the third category was significantly higher. When I needed hints, I’d often fully worked out the first and second clues but just couldn’t make the leap to the solution. In two or three cases, I read the solution and *still* couldn’t understand how they got to it. There are much better puzzle box apps in the world. For Exit, stuck with the physical games.

Unintelligible and obtuse. This game is hard only because the designers don’t provide enough information to try and solve the puzzles. Even if you use all the clues, the clues themselves are impossible to decipher. It’s like a bunch of super engineering nerds sat around and came up with puzzles only hey could solve with their own training.

Stop popping up review asks. Everytime i open the game you ask for a review, on something i already paid for. Well, you got one.

Solid Game. I love anything by Glitch Games (Forever Lost), Fireproof Studios (The Room), Blue Brain Games (House of Da Vinci), CottonGame (Isoland), Lucasfilm Games (Tales of Monkey Island) & this game falls in that category. I hope the developer does more!

Difficult…and Worth It!. Several other reviews critique this game’s difficulty—but in my view, that’s part of its charm. So many games feature puzzles that are too simplistic, repetitive, or boring. EXIT: Curse of Ophir, on the other hand, is not only creative but also UNIQUE. This game will make you think, puzzle, explore, and use hints. Just surrender to it: The hints are there, so use them. Please support this game: If you’re an experienced puzzler or escape room fanatic, you'll really enjoy this game!

So cool!. I am a fan of these types of games. This one really makes you think! Keep more coming!!

Great game. If you like the physical Exit games, you’ll really enjoy this game. The puzzles were fun and interactive. Very unique experience. Hoping they make more.

Interesting game. I couldn’t get the last puzzle to work and I can’t find any walkthroughs to help. The hints don’t work either.

Clues aren’t really clues.. The clues are poorly thought out. You figure them out correctly, but oh, you have to actually use the clue backwards for no reason. Don’t waste your money.

Never Reviewed Before. I’ve tried to open this app several times. No luck. Tried reinstalling. No luck. Can’t get beyond the “Profiles” screen. Using an IPad with system 15.0.2. Sure didn’t get my money’s worth on this one.

Overall Very Good with a Few Frustrations. Overall, I really enjoyed this and am looking forward to playing through the next one. For the most part, the puzzles were quite challenging but doable if you’re really paying attention. And that’s exactly what I’m looking for in this type of game. However, a few, particularly the last one, were just too obtuse. The only puzzles where I used ANY clues, I used ALL the clues.

Wow, this game is the best Exit game. Better than any of the board game version. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Please do more!

Enjoying the challenge!. It hasn’t stumped me yet, but it’s making me think. I love it when I reach the aha! moments! These are puzzles I haven’t seen before and it’s kind of addictive… I want to keep playing to see what’s next.

Hope to see more Exit Games. Really enjoyed the game and puzzles. In the same vein as the box games which I love. Some out of the box thinking required which I also enjoyed. I hope we see more in this series and soon.

Great Game.. Love the game so far. Very well optimized, puzzles are not too easy and everything runs smoothly. 10/10 would buy again.

Had to use clues quite often.. I have played quite a few escape games, such as The Room, Meridian 157 and Legacy - The Ancient Curse, but Exit the Game - The Curse of Ophir was a tough one. I got stuck quite a few times and had to use all the clues to get through to the next thing. I became really stuck on the footpath and despite following the clue instructions, I could not get it to work for me. For the first time I am quitting a escape room game. Congrats to everyone who made it through all the way. It was to confusing for me.

Dissappointed. I realize I am not the brightest star in the sky but to me the puzzles and clues were extremely disjointed….for one, I was supposed to pick up my iPad and hold in front of my face and rotate it…..come on! For me, this game was a waste of money.

Cant get it to open. Just got it... I get to the choose a profile page...and then nothing.....i dont see anywhere too get help. Ive restarted, removed and readied the app, everything. Help! Update...finally got it to open.

Stuck: something went wrong.. I was really enjoying this game. Got to 1968 the second time and solved the gramophone puzzle. A box opened on the bottom and … it was empty! So I pulled up a vid walkthrough and I noticed that in the vid the player had a chessboard on the bar, and the ability to select an ice cube from the tray. I did not have these options. On the bar I found a pamphlet for the hotel. Are there supposed to be different versions of the game?

Excellent Game!. What a great challenge to follow the clues and put them together to solve puzzles. There is a good hint system, but I wasted a few as I had already gotten to the part where I only needed the final one. I’m still mad at myself on the Morse code one. Even though I only ended with an 8 rating, I loved the game. For those who like logic and deduction, this is the game for you! Yes it can be difficult, but very, very satisfying!

a bit too difficult for me. Hi there you will need a lot of out the box thinking to solve these riddles - too much for my liking. I needed quite a lot of hints to either confirm what I already was thinking or to get me onto the correct path. Do not get me wrong though, there is nothing wrong with the game - actually it is nicely done. But a bit too challenging for me. Thanks Felix

Alright. Some of the puzzles were a serious stretch - I mean you get so close, but the solution may depend on the orientation of the objects and I'll be damned but I'm not trying every which way. For example that final puzzle with the frame - solution depends which way you're holding the frame. There's a couple like that where I figured everything out except orientation and then had to use three hints bc the thing I didn't know was in the third hint. Maybe I'm just not that smart 😂🤣. Nonetheless, it was a different take and overall I liked it. Rather short.

Pleasant Surprise. My wife and I have played all of the physical exit games and really enjoy them. Manipulating physical objects is an important game element. This iPad version was surprisingly well done and polished. We enjoyed as much as the physical versions. Well done! Hope to se more of these.

One of the best puzzle games I’ve played. This game was very different from other games, it used things outside of the game and required a lot of outside the box thinking to solve puzzles. All the puzzles were unique and creative, and it was overall a very good experience. I would love to see more of these games!

Don’t miss. Has a unique table top game feel. Don’t miss it if you are an exit fan!

Fun version of the tabletop games. Im a huge fan of the Exit the Game series. This is a fun solo alternative. Took me about 3 hours. I only recommend for iPad because I think some features would be too small on an iPhone screen. Looking forward to more of these!

Clever but painful. While I’m sure the creators think some of the clues are quite clever, I found them to be disruptive to the user experience - I don’t want to spoil it for others by providing details or examples but suffice to say, if you’re creating a world for your users, then let them stay in that world to play the game.

Great couples game. We’ve been playing the EXIT board game during the lockdowns and found this game recently. Absolutely enjoying it. Music is immersive and the puzzles we’re well guided. Definitely one of those games for headphones. Looking forward to playing other EXIT games in the future!

Just Brilliant. For those that have had the pleasure of playing the EXIT physical games you will love this. Does a brilliant job of making you think outside the box and using all aspects of the iPad and game itself. Highly recommended to those that like solving genuinely clever puzzles. Fairly short but am hoping this is because it’s an introduction to many more EXIT games

Overpriced. For this price I was expecting at least 4 hours of gameplay

Makes you think!. You definitely have to think with this game. Most of the puzzles are not easy and you need to think outside the box. Well done. Shortish game but will worth it if you want a workout for your brain. The only suggestion I would make is to add a feature for taking pictures. Great game!

Not great. We love puzzle games but some of this was nonsensical. Add in a broken mechanic which you can’t get past without using hints, and this was a frustrating experience.

Most Puzzles Too Hard. Very well made game, and I thought it was just me finding it difficult, but all of the walk through gamers I follow were also having a really tough time solving the puzzles.

Hard but good one. Well done, some puzzles make you think . Thank you For that really good escape game!

Vraiment super!. Il devrait avoir plus de jeu comme celui-ci. J’ai adoré! Le seul bémol serait de nommer les indices. Je devais ouvrir les trois indices à chaque fois alors que souvent j’avais compris plus que les 2 premières.

Disappointed. The graphics are good, and the story is an interesting idea, but there really isn’t too much to the story. There are no characters to interact with like there are in the really good adventure games so the story doesn’t really go anywhere. In the end it’s just about going to a few, very few, locations to solve some annoying code puzzles. That’s it. If you play puzzle games regularly you will be done this game in a couple hours. Disappointing.

Average escape room. Linear experience with little exploration. None of the puzzles were that memorable except for a few gimmick ones that involved interacting with the physical device (iPad). We got stuck on one puzzle that didn't make sense even after we read the solution.

Far to hard for casual escape room players. Overall it looks amazing but the puzzles aren’t fun and overall too hard… I read some of these other reviews and I now totally agree with them it’s really just riddles to solve the puzzles like look on this thing solve the riddle input the code if you like that kinda thing then this would be really good for you but if you like a mixes bag of riddles and puzzles it’s not worth the money go get room or something not this…
