Wow!. This is the best cartooning app I have used by far. The cartoons are super realistic and professional-looking, and while there is an option to pay for it, you can get a very similar experience for free! 100% recommend for some great-quality fun time.

Awesome but I have a problem. It’s really fun but I have braces and when u can see them in any of my pictures it try’s to delete them then my teeth and face looks awful, but other then that it looks good

Bait & Switch. No where in the description does it mention that this is a subscription only app and then to find out that they want to charge five dollars a week. That is absolute highway robbery. I am so incredibly disappointed. Why not allow people to try out a free version and then allow them to upgrade to a pro version if they wish to. But a trial subscription is not the same thing. And even so five dollars a week is ridiculous.

Scammers. First of all let me tell you Do not believe them that you get 3 free trial days You don't it charges you on the second night so 2 days instead of waiting for your trial to end Scammers and then they charge you and send you a note that your subscription is almost expiring in the same day I hope your reading this scammers i cancelled the night before and you disregarded my cancellation Keep the five and karma will catch up with you This app is not that bad if all the characters you want to change to cartoons are close and won’t cartoon your pets I did my daughter and grandson and they looked so wicked

Need to pay. The app functionality seems really good from what I could see, but was not even able to try it and see with a basic picture of a single person - must have pro / paid account to do even that. Only reason three stars instead of one, is because it is pretty clear if you are willing to pay, and not just $0.99, that the art is pretty legit

Far better than I expected. This app does exactly what it says it will do, give it a photo press a button and you get a Cartoon of that photo (faces only). I do think we are entering the era of AI if only in small ways. Note: some faces work better than others, so try a few.

It is fun app!. I have seen people changing their pictures to cartoons and now I know how they do it. It was the first time using it and it was so much fun. It is easy to use and has many features like making funny characters and changing the background of the photo. I recommend to use it for kid’s pictures and show them how they look if they were cartoons!

Excellent options for free!. I was a bit skeptical at first but I was very impressed with the number of cartoon style options available. It was so cool to see my photos in that way - I’ll be using this app all the time!

Very Entertaining. This app is easy to use and very entertaining. I was surprised at the variety of options for altering the images you upload and they were all really cool! I use this app with my nieces and nephews and they love seeing their pictures getting cartoon-ized. It’s also nice that there are a lot of really good filters that are free. :)

I don’t like the price. It was great except for that the pricing like it cost money so I didn’t want to do that. I would’ve given it a five star if I didn’t have that I love the cartoony animation. The only thing I would not want is pricing I’m a nine-year-old girl and I don’t like I don’t have money so I’ll give it a four star. I love everything else but the pricing. Thank you toonapp

Really frustrating. Can only give it 3 stars bc sometimes when I tap on the 3D cartoon, it doesn’t show the pictures. When I go to select my pictures it still won’t show them and when I go back to the selection, it acts like I haven’t tapped on any pictures at all. Also sometimes when I select pics, it goes to where it wants you to adjust it, then goes right back and says “Oops, there are no pictures selected!” Please fix this problem.

Toon App. This has to be one of the Greatest Apps EVER, Created!!!…. (I Promise You who read this that, I am in NO WAY being disingenuous nor, misleading.) WARNING! This app is bad news.. Tried to cancel the application and it began charging me anyway. Had to finally call my bank to block it from charging me for a 3d time. I attempted to cancel it through the app and support. Got a glad hand response from the support team from the app support. A number of 3 attempts to cancel it and it was still trying to change my account. They have been marked by my bank as a fraudulent transaction. Try it out and find out what your bank calls it. Now this review won’t go through.

Ok first of all,. This app is so annoying because even when it says something is free i still get a pop up when trying it that it’s a “pro feature”. Also, eventually after continuously getting the pro pop up over and over again, you try the free trial and then it automatically charges you $4.99 every week without telling you because you thought it was a FREE trial. This app drives me crazy and I don’t recommend it to those who are looking for a good cartoon looking character without having to pay any money. Thank you for your time!

What an app!!. I have so much fun turning even old black and white photos into wonderful color cartoons! So many people are so happy with their pictures that some have offered to pay me to do a bunch of their photos, but I want to see what they offer and I would feel bad about. taking their money when they can do it themselves and we can watch you guys grow!!

WOW!. This is literally the only cartoon app in the App Store that actually does what it promises. Amazing results, great variety. Feature request: photoreal AI backgrounds, where we keep our image photo as real, not cartoon, and composite onto a photoreal AI gen BG, something like the quality of the MidJourney engine. And LOL at the people that don’t know how to handle iOS subscriptions. Seriously?

Really good!. Honestly I wasn’t expecting it to be so good but after downloading it and trying it it turn out to be effective! My favorite part is turning my pictures into cartoons, it’s done accurately and turns out beautifully 🥹😋

SUCH A FUN APP!!. When I first downloaded this app I wasn’t expecting much, but I was blown away by the quality of the cartoons. There are so many different filters and cartoon styles to use, it’s incredible. I’ve had so much fun with this app, and I use it with my friends all the time!! I highly recommend getting this app, it is so much fun!!!

Too much sales too soon. Companies should be able to profit with a great product. That said, let a customer or potential customer use the product for a while to figure out how great (or not) the product is going to be or how suitable to the customer needs the product (software) actually is. Instead I was hit by an avalanche of sales choices before I had even tried the software. Looks like there is some great potential here but I will have a better idea after a week or two.

Shockingly good!. Stumbling upon this app (and it’s sister app Toon Art) is now saving me literally hundreds of hours in the top industry photo apps turning my photos into toon and or manga style base photos. The outcome quality of each toon style they offer is light years ahead of any desktop app I have used. I am rendering my photos into toon shots in this app and uploading them into the finishing desktop app for any fine tuning. But honestly so far the fine tuning is mostly not necessary at all.

Well done. I expected to pay and immediately be disappointed by some mediocre work but it does actually work well at turning you into a cartoon character. It produces thick outlines and makes you look like you are from archer. It would be nice to see this application able to cartoonize any background objects as well because currently it just finds and crops your face then removes the background.

Love this app!. I used this app to make a profile photo for my social media accounts and I love it so much I subscribed for the extra effects because they look so awesome! I love the quality of this app. It looks exactly like it was hand-drawn and my selfies become a cartoon drawing in an instant. A+++ ♥️

Shockingly Good and Shockingly Expensive. The results are just phenomenal, I used it for a week to make a number of tunes out of pictures of myself, my wife, daughter, son and a couple of close friends, oh and my cats. Then it auto renewed and I realized that this wasn’t an expensive app that cost $9, but instead a rediculoisly expensive app that cost $9 EVERY WEEK! While I enjoyed using it, and as I say the results are incredible, there just is no way it is worth almost 500 dollars a year. So I am canceling the subscription that I didn’t really understand I was signing up for. Well I will as soon as I can find the cancel option in the entry in subscription list., which seems to be very well hidden or completely missing compared to renewing which is super simple to find and do.

Interesting.. This app is surprisingly very cool and an awesome concept. I do have a complaint though… after buying the 4.99 subscription the app is constantly crashing and i can never finish my edits or background filters, i would love to support this app if the developers could fix this which is the only problem I've had. Other then that well done!!!

Cartoon yourself!!!. This is a great app! I love all of the features it has for the different edits. My family and friends had a good laugh cartooning their pictures. May even use this on our holiday cards lol. Try it out, you’ll definitely like it!

Lots of options. This is a great app with a full depth of options, including full body cartooning and cartooning the background. Absolutely love it. There are also many options in the tone and each has a slide bar to choose your own intensity scale.

Unique. On most face filter apps they only have basic filters, this one is unique in the fact that it can make profiles pictures, backgrounds, and even turn you into a Simpson.

Pretty good but just one thing. I love this app. But, if you have a two person photo, things don’t work out right. I tried doing a photo with my little sister and her friend. They’re faces look really creepy in all the filters. This is just a small head’s up so if you want to download this app, remember what your reading right now.

Ehh. The app was OK, when they were re-drawing my face it made me look older and I just didn’t like that so I tried it again with a different photo I did the same thing to the other photo but that point I was like I don’t think this is gonna be a good app it looks good on some of the filter or backgrounds you can use like for hunger games and stuff but the app was OK it works and some photos don’t process if they’re too zoomed in.

Needs to work with all races. I’m an African American. I saw my White fries try this and it was cool, so I gave it a try and the results were not the same for my white friend. It depicted my hair, color, eyes, nose as a white person even though I wasn’t white. This shows how this app is made only for people of a certain kind. You people need to work on your app and change that if you truly believe all people are equal and should be treated equally. Canceling the subscription and deleting the app after review is posted

Constantly Crashing. Going through pics and erasing to get them just right only to have it crash and then having to start all over. So annoying. Not to mention, it erases parts that shouldn’t be erased, like in the middle of the shirt or something. And there’s no way to put it back.

Billed Weekly - Go Kick Rocks. Fun app. But, paying weekly for a subscription to something like this is the dumbest thing ever. Some medical purpose app like a blood sugar level tool that you may use everyday…maybe. The publisher obviously knows this, and just intends for you to come rent it when you desire to use a cartoon app. If that price was $.50, it might make sense. Otherwise, I don’t let unused apps live on MY phone RENT-FREE, getting updates pushed to it whenever. Deleted.

I’m missing an option. I like the app but the one option that had the best face creation is gone now which is why I kept the app more than the week and paid for the year now it’s gone and all the other options make the face look the same just different backgrounds and what not can you please bring that one back that was the best option

According to your Tik Tok ad something’s missing. Was flipping thru TikTok and saw an ad for your app that showed where you could point your camera at people and see what they would look like as Disney characters. That’s the only reason we tried out the app. Well we never located that feature-talk about disappointment. Now we can’t figure out how to disconnect from this app and not get charged for its use. I mean we have only had access of it for less than an hour. I suppose the other parts of the app are ok but not what we came for. Now if we can just get out of here with our money!

Funny Toon Fun!. This app is hilarious! I originally downloaded this app thinking I would use it once and delete it, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This app does a great job at turning people into cartoons! They’re incredibly funny and my friends loved them!

One huge problem!. Ok so overall the app is great except for one big problem.. it keeps turning me white!! I’m black with a medium brown skin and whenever I put my pictures in it, the app turns me completely white looking. This app should at least recognize skin tones and keep my brown complexion and stop turning me into a completely different race. Pretty disappointed.

COOLEST APP EVER. This is such a fun & unique way to edit photos. In my opinion, this app makes it easy to create the most amazing pictures to get printed out and framed. You cannot beat the price of $4.99 a month, because people pay big money to people on places like Etsy to create the same exact photos. Highly recommend this app!

Is everyone in your world white??. This app is fun, but it makes everyone Caucasian. I tired several times with photos of my bfriend— who is Indian, and brown— and he looks white in every single one. Didn’t matter if it was a photo of us together (where you can see an obvious difference in skin color) or him alone (he’s still brown), the toon is always a white version of him. It’s not just lame, it’s a little creepy. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Wanted to give this 5 stars but. Paid for a subscription and used it for a few hours with no problems, worked great actually, loved how fast it was and the results were great. Used it for 2-3 hours. Tried to use it again a few hours later and it won’t work, won’t recognize any faces at all, including multiple it had prior. Tried stock photos, nothing. It must be a glitch or a bug in the app software. But it is totally unusable which will make me cancel my subscription. Shame, I really did want to write a good review. I hope they fix it so one day I can.

Face not found. It's a decent app to fool around with, providing you can get it to recognize your face, or any face in a photo. Several attempts using clear face photos & it didn't "detect" a face. Even when using the camera for a live selfie, it didn't work. I finally got it to somehow recognize mine & a few other faces. I know, it's free & "You get what you pay for", but, even free stuff should work right.

A variety of cartoon styles!. I’m genuinely impressed by the variety of cartoon styles that the app provides. There were so many ranging from Disney to old-renaissance styles, and even comic and they all came out pretty realistic looking and were definitely worth it.

Pay to Play. The quality of this app is undeniably better than other apps on the market, however, having it hidden behind a pay wall makes it inaccessible to most users who are interested in this service. Other apps that use advertisements have comparable quality so I would not advise friends or family to purchase anything more than the free trial for now.

Charged after canceling free trial. Hi I canceled my free subscription after one day and was billed $5.29 when I still had two days left. I canceled the subscription and there should be no reason this charge is pending and wants me to add my card information to pay it. Free and cancelled two days before expiration doesn’t mean renew and charge my card. Please don’t try to scam people into purchasing a subscription if the content wasn’t worth it and decide to cancel.

I highly recommend that you don’t download this app. If you do download this app, you are sure to get, scammed, lots of advertisements, and more bad to follow. Fun way to change up your profile pics!. I had a lot of fun trying out the different cartoon filters. The color options for the background blended really well with my shirt as well. I like to use cartoon avatars for different apps I frequent on the internet and this was a fun way to change things up a bit.

Declined the free trial and it automatically charged me $4.99 without my consent.. I didn’t want a free trial, just wanted to try the basic free version or exit the app if a free version wasn’t available. I didn’t know that toggling off the “free trial” would immediately charge me $4.99 per week. There wasn’t a confirmation of impending charges, it just charged me immediately. Declining the free trial apparently gives them the power to charge my account. SUPER SHADY!! And for what? 3 different cartoon styles and a few extremely basic backgrounds? It’s not worth $.05 per week let alone nearly $5 per week. They’re either delusional thinking the app is worth that or the app is a complete scam. BEWARE!

I purchased the one year subscription and now they are asking me to pay after 3 months. My subscription is valid till 8th November 2023. But the app is asking me to pay for converting the photos.

Excellent game!. I love this app! It is always super easy to do and you don’t pay anything at all! Even though it shows a premium option without it it’s basically the exact same advantages! There is even one to see what your pet looks like in anime and there is so many different styles to change yourself into including Simpson (my favourite) This app is certainly recommended and no scam or fraud so it’s the best game EVER!

Charged for the whole year without permission. I downloaded the app and was on trial version. I have been charged for the whole year till 2022 when I never opted for it. Please refund my money. Extremely disappointed.

Scam mostly. Ads make it look like it will cartoonize a video, it won’t. It’s a basic filter app and mostly they just want money from people who forget to cancel their subscription after the three day free trial.

Not as advertised - Waste of space. App is advertised on Instagram with The Simpsons style cartoons and after going through every option, NO Simpsons option. Canceled subscription and deleted app, not worth the money or space it takes up on my screen.

Works, but…. It works, but parts of the face are missing. When I get the ad from after it draws the cartoon, sometimes it glitches out and never loads. Big waste of time for me.

Mostly love!. I give this four stars because I love the effects enough that I paid for the year, however, the app crashes on a semi regular basis, and also I find it limiting that you are only given an eraser to adjust the tooned areas. Very often the areas that the app can’t recognize or convert into cartoon don’t make sense, giving the effect of foreheads or whole arms cut off in a way that look like severed body parts. It would be nice if there was a way to force it to focus on certain edges or fill in spots that are chopped off even with good lighting and camera focus. I also wish it could handle animals a little better. 95% of my selfies with my pet bird come out looking incredibly bizarre. This is often the most common situation that I am wishing I could add lines that get blurred over rather than only erase. Occasionally I can achieve that effect by erasing where a line needs to be, and positioning the toon over a dark background. This makes, what would otherwise be a stunning image, incredibly limited. Otherwise, I love fiddling with this app and run nearly every selfie and picture of my friends through it.

“Holds you Hostage” to pay $51/year. Advertising is one thing. Limited access another. Wanted to explore and test app but as soon I tried using it, the app is frozen on the subscription page. I do not want to pay before seeing how it functions. The “X” in upper left corner will not close the subscription ad page. Closing app does not work. Not going to pay or start free trial until I know app actually works.

Mostly good. This app is quite nice and I like to cartoon myself and others but you can only use a little bit of the things in the app. And for most of it you have to pay.

Deceptive advertising. Learned about the app in my Instagram feed, and the cartoon used in the ad was a Simpsons style cartoon. Downloaded the app and there is no sign of a Simpsons character cartoon. Deleted.

Not happy. Not what I expected and can’t cancel so disappointed

Not fair but still amazing. It would be a awesome app if they didn’t charge money to do everything the only thing that is free is only 2 things so it was a bit disappointing and to charge 6.49 dollars per week is insane

Keeps crashing. App is not good, only allowed one face, the app keeps crashing, can’t cartoon photos that have no faces. Useless app. Can’t do a single thing without it crashing🙄🙄🙄

Not free. They do not have a free version. You need to subcribe to have some free days. If they really want people to buy there apps. Make the apps to be free first with some free filter and ads and if we really want it . Now you can buy it but nit the way they ask. Sorry but i never trust software they ask credit card info to have some days free of try.

Can’t cancel. I downloaded the app and it wasn’t what I wanted so I went under “manage my subscription” to cancel before the 3 day trial ends but interestingly enough it won’t load so I can’t cancel. Not a good first impression. Emailed support.

App is awesome, features are excellent…but good luck trying to cancel your subscription if you pay for extra features- the instructions do not match the app- the “website” they speak of does not exist and the third party taking your payment has no customer support. I had to file a claim with my bank and change my CC on file to stop this reoccurring monthly feed. FYI the company is based out of Turkey. Cheers.

Congratulations you wasted peoples time and money. Terrible development, you seriously expect people to pay weekly for a garbage app that doesn’t work. The app continuously crashes when I attempt to redeem my picture and even before I get to the point of redeeming my picture it just crashes. You can’t expect to have customer retention when your app is structured like this.

Excellent. I went into this app expecting some 3rdgrade work. But the cartoons come out looking authentic. You can choose different backgrounds. And best of all…it’s free. What more do you need!

Limited App. I purchased the trial because of the Profile feature. I don’t understand why we cannot use a full sized photo to get the profile cartoon look. It irritates me how the options feel limited. Honestly feel like I wasted money for this purchase. The best feature on this app is very limited which is unfair! I canceled the subscription several minutes after purchasing. Very disappointed.

Amazing. At first I thought it was those type of apps were you have to buy something like vip to even use, but nope it’s free. Love the app can’t wait for even more features

So amazing. Very amazing, one not even big issue: unless you are in the full body option, you can not do your full body picture. Otherwise a 5 star app.

Good game but. It’s a good game but first reason it’s because you only get to use not even half of the filter’s you can get the rest of the filters but they cost money to get them Real money and you have to keep doing it because it cost +4 or five dollars a week

Great app!. I love this app and I wish that was a feature that came with my phone. The only problem I see with this app is that it struggles with the back drop and drawing the object in the photo aside that it a really good app.

Woah, What an app. This app is so fun and original. I liked the way this app works and that you can change the backgrounds. It was so easy to use, Just upload a picture and it will analyze your face then go ahead and have fun

Great cartoon photo app. I often see some cartoon avatars in daily life. Today I downloaded this app on a whim and make some pictures. The effects were really cool.

Only faces. I like the app, but would like for other items to be able to be changed; not just faces. I also didn’t like that my pictures where being cropped too much. There where cute full body pictures I wanted to use, it they would get cropped to only focus on the face.

Garbage. This app will tease you with all of the paid features, and just when you think you can use the free features, maybe with some ads or something, they won’t let you actually use any part of the app without paying their subscription fee which is five dollars a week or $20 a month. This app is entirely Clickbait. Be aware.

Only recognizes faces. This app only recognizes faces if I try to use pic of a car it won’t recognize it…I want to make my son a shirt with his favorite car on it but as a cartoon and haven’t been able to find an app that recognizes a thing other than faces :(

Tried it. I am having the hardest time cancelling my subscription. I was cute and it worked really well but I don’t want to be trapped in a payment plan. How do I cancel it? I went to the “ manage my subscription “ tab but it’s just a blank page. Help?!

Quick and easy to use!. This is really easy to use. The cartoon images are created really quickly. I can tell it’s us but they look really good. Very impressed with the ease of the app.

Review. The app is pretty good. It has lots of potential and can go far. The only problem I had with said app was that on some photos it couldn’t animate all of the full face photo. Some of it would cut out. But overall it’s a great app

Not worth the money they don’t tell you it costs.. It charged me $40 after I turned down the free trial for the pro version. Only one option works on pictures that don’t have faces in them and it completely changes the picture. If you’re looking for something to make cartoon edits of things like cars or animals this isn’t the app for you.

Quick & Easy. Great and easy app to cartoonize yourself. I always wanted a social media profile cartoon profile. Highly suggest using clear face images- the cartoon image comes out better!

So fun!. This app comes with lots of filters, me and my kids spent hours transforming ourselves in cartoons. Our favorite filters was Disney and the full photo cartoon option.

They steal your money. I signed up for the free trial to check it out after seeing all of the positive reviews. It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, so I wanted to unsubscribe. Except when I tried, it took me to a blank screen. I reached out to their team and zero response. I reached out to Apple and zero response. Now they are charging me nearly $5 every week. Do not download. Find another app.

Easy to use!. I thought i would automatically have to pay to use this app, but I was pleasantly surprised! This app provides good quality photos for free!

GET IT!. This app is just amazing! It’s free and has a good variety of chooses to choose from! It’s great if you like to animate especially cause it does most of it for you lol! I totally reccomend! It’s so cool how fast it works! Something I truly feel passionate about is to GET IT!

It’sDecent but, even pictures specially like a off guard picture should be ok but they want just your face and it’s cool but, I had my favorite picture of me and my girl and it wouldn’t let me do it, and I just took the picture! That’s the only thing about this app that needs fixing everything else is Gucci! 🔥🔥

Needs improvement. I've got photos tht don't show up by default, but do show up when I select album and can view all of my photos on my device. The problem is that those photos that do show up on albums, they are selectable but ToonApp won't take them to processing. It just selects and puts a blue outline on it and nothing else.

Don’t waste your time. Garbage app that almost forced you to buy a subscription for something that Mac did in 2000 with the photo booth app. Greedy developers who don’t care about there users. Just look at their replies to all the comments and you can tell. Every response is the same thing that doesn’t even address the issue in the comment.

Phenomenal!. This app is so cool. You can make yourself look so different with the many filters. I recommend to any who wants to put funny filters on your friends.

Garbage. Does a terrible job with the eyes and the Simpsons option makes it look like an alien with 4 heads, spinning around, no eyes, no head shape, as if the head was about to blow up after spinning around really fast. All characters are very feminine and blurred. Didn’t matter how clear the picture was, or how many different ones I tried I got the same terrible results. Don’t waste your money.

Decent app, when it decides to work!. This app only cartoonizes certain pictures, that alone is a deal breaker. Make another version of this app for free w/ ads because although when it does work it does a great job; it is not worth any upfront money because of its volatility. From one entrepreneur to another, make a free version of this app with Ads. Your welcome.

I Wish it Did Any Picture. It’s some pictures that I want to turn into Toon but because of the pose in the picture it won’t recognize have I think you all should remove that “Face only” requirement you will for sure get way more subscribers like me!

Fake reviews. This app is trash. False advertisement to begin with the photos look NOTHING like the advertisements show. And it’s another typical app where they make you think it’s free and then to do anything you have to sign up for a weekly subscription. Hoping you will sign up for a 3 day trial and forget to cancel. Don’t waste your time. Apple should keep trash like this off the App Store.

Scam or something. I did a trial over a period and cancelled EARLY, but decided I don’t use the app enough to keep it. YET I KEEP GETTING BILLED. For an app I never purchased. I have to dispute the charge on random months (somehow, not every month) and pursue a refund for an APP I DID NOT BUY. They basically just keep billing and making me do the work every time to get my money back. The app isn’t even installed on my phone anymore. STOP BILLING ME, @$&%!

Epic!. As an artist I love to get inspiration from cool apps like this. It is pretty darn accurate, even with making ugly faces at the camera. It’s fun and worth a try especially if you like digital art.

Confusing but fun. I find using these apps to be fun. What I don’t like is that random options show up and disappear that makes it ephemeral rather than something to be relied on. I don’t understand and wish it was more straightforward.
