WORST BANK EVER, EXTREMELY DISHONEST. They are offering a $50 sign up bonus if referred by someone. Per there referral bonus promotion terms of service it states that one must sign up using the person unique link share directly or shared through email or social post and receive a qualifying direct direct of $200 or more within 45 days day of account opening and that deposit must be made by employer, payroll, provider, government benefits or unemployment benefits or payor by ACH deposit. I met every requirements and did not receive my bonus and they refuse to give it to. Don’t bother using someone link you discover or shared with you through social media because it’s an excuse for them to not pay up despite what’s in their TOS. This company is a trickster and lair. I wouldn’t want to business with them the fact that they don’t honor their promotion. You have been warmed, proceed at your own risk!!

Doesn’t do it for me. It seemed like a good bank to go with for something I needed at the moment but when I came down to it I don’t really like it. I opened an account waited for my debit card it said delivered but never got it, I put in another request and even changed the address they didn’t take my address until a few days later so I had to wait for the second time for a debit card. The address I have on file I no longer live at anymore I’m homeless. I don’t have an ID and I just received a deposit but the GO2Bank doesn’t offer transfers from bank to bank or to another debit card. now my money is stuck in this account until I can find another place to live to receive a debit card or a check just to access my money.

Rodney Richards. To whom it may concern, I am sorry for being upset on the phone this evening cause I thought someone had got my card and had intentions of using it. The professional that waited on me was very good at settling me down and explained to me that my debit cad was current and active and the other card was in the mailbox and it was a credit card that I forgot about. I went to mailbox and sure enough it was just like she said . I feel bad for being unprofessional with her and I thank her for being understandable as well as nice . She is an awesome person and I hope she continues being very respectful And professional. Thanks again

Former online bank referral. GO2bank online card was a referral from a different online bank I had. I was under the impression that go2 bank will accommodate the same features as the Ruchcard account I had, since they referred them to me. However that is not the situation GO2bank is something new that does not accommodate the needs I had with the former card services I had. It took about 4 days of trying to get in contact with someone to address some issues I was having and when I was able to speak to an agent I was disappointed that I would now be able to access the features I was use to.I don’t see myself handling my business with them

Unreal bad business. Not sure where’s to start. Just wanted my paycheck 2 days earlier. So I had half my check direct deposited here. Was fine for a while when $392 disappeared from my account. So I disputed it and about 3 weeks later I was told I authorized it. I authorized someone to steal my money? That’s when it was obviously there fraud departments scamming me. At the same time I was supposed to get a new card and when it came it was for a new account not the one I had. So it took me forever to figure this out because it was impossible to talk to someone on the phone in china about what was going on. In this time trying to figure it out on my own I was cut off from my account and was charged $75 a month for not paying my secured credit card which is my money in the first place. So $150 they took from me because I was cut off from my account almost 3 months. I stopped having direct deposit because I don’t trust them and now being charged $5 a month for this nightmare. I have been trying to cancel my account for months about 15 times and they always have a reason why I can’t. They always want me to talk to someone on the phone who doesn’t understand English!

Bummed. It started out really good banking with GO2Bank. So much so that I endeavored into a GO2Bank secured Credit Card. Then I noticed twelve unauthorized transactions and opened a dispute claim. I put in the leg work and submitted a dispute packet as directed that included all supporting documents like a police report, correspondence with other parties and banking institutions that were involved, and a detailed dispute letter. The packet was submitted via USPS mail as it was the only option; so one can imagine the lengthy timeline from opening the dispute claim to finally getting GO2Bank’s response and outcomes. Well, in the end it did not go in my favor and lost hundreds of dollars. The unfavorable dispute ordeal made me divide to change my direct deposit from GO2Bank to my other checking account. I later realized that the GO2Bank secured credit card payments could only be made from the checking account. So I aimed to utilize the Debit Card Transfer feature with GO2Bank but that isn’t going so well with transfers being rejected my funds have been held for 7 or more business days before being available. This makes making the monthly credit card payments challenging. I am still in limbo about closing my accounts with GO2Bank but hesitant for it may influence my already low credit score. I thought using GO2Bank banking services was going to help me to improve my credit score but so far it does not seem as such.

I do like it. I haven’t had any trouble with my funds being available. My direct deposit is prompt and goes through fine. My problem is the app and browser log in. It works most of the time but sometimes I’ll get a notification and click on it to look, at which point the system tells me my log in has failed. It sends me a prompt follow up email that there was “a failed log in attempt” from an untrusted device. The problem is, my account name, password and device are 100% accurate but the software just can’t seem to identify me as such. I’ve had to uninstall the app and change passwords on multiple occasions which snarls other payment processors and schedules I have previously set up. I’m hoping this can get sorted out as I already have multiple accounts that will be highly inconvenient to close. I’ve not had any success with the customer service channels to this end. Update: Thank you for responding. I see now it was my device that wasn’t being recognized, which I was able to remedy.

Started off good but now it’s bad. For some reason they locked my card for unusual activity but I was the only person using my card and what I also realize is that every time I try to add money to the account that I created with a GO2bank they block everything. I have close to $1000 from my work paychecks. My card has been declined at the ATM and they blocked my account from making purchases in store and online. Do not trust them please. I use Go2bank as my direct deposit account but now that I can’t transfer anything into my account because it’s blocked I’m very disappointed and now I have to go find a new bank for work. They also have terrible customer service and the customer service representatives are very rude, they don’t answer your questions properly, they cut you off, and they take forever to respond.

Terrible Bank , Awful User Interface , Unhelpful Chat Support Etc Etc. Activated my card online , then tried using the mobile check deposit option in app to cash my check were it then told me i needed to verify my card again , alright whatever no problem in the "enter the last four digits" box i did as it asked me and then said it was invalid (probably because it was already active) , i attempted to fix the issue with a chat representative who just kept copy pasting the same disclaimer over and over when i explained the situation and after telling the agent to just delete my account he disconnected the chat Absolute bottom of the barrel bank , terrible app ui , unhelpful chat support and i urge everyone to not use this service unless you hate yourself and want to waste your time

Great Savings!!. I started to use this account to save my money because the other online fintech was kind of a waste of money. They charged me $8/month just to use their, like, .1% savings account and for some live assistance service I never used. Their app was much more aesthetically pleasing and they had a great look, but that’s it really. So I’ve been moving my money to GO2BANK to make sure I can save at least a little bit. I’m not super impressed with the design of the app (that’s what I liked about my other)!! This service is 50x better though because no fees if I direct deposit and the savings. But I think y’all could make your app/platform a little bit sleeker

Kindria Shackles. At this time I'm currently happy with my decision to use the GO2Bank and the GO2Bank Credit Building accounts as of this moment I believe that I have chose and made the right decision to do this as I am trying to fix and rebuild my credit as my husband to be and I are trying to buy a home in the very near future and my credit is damaged due to my first marriage and his is a little of two things he has none or very little credit and/or his first marriage as well has played a big factor in his credit issues as well! So with these cards we are hoping to build and rebuild a bigger and better credit limit for the both of us and pray that in the very near future will be able to purchase our home as we are wanting!!

Still no money. I have had money on this go to bank card for since July I have been unable to get any assistance on getting my money off or updating my information and have been very displeased I would like my money back I would like my money off my card I have $225 on my card I would like back I did not pay with a check so I do not expect to get paid back with the check I just want my money transferred from my GO2bank account into my other account to my to my bank account I have tried to call many times I have covered every avenue that there is possibly for me to be able to I work with customer service I keep getting the runaround they don’t want to give me my money back they don’t want to help me update my services I have complained and complained and yet nothing has been done I would like my money back who do I need to get in touch with I’ve already contacted the FICA and also I wrote a letter to the Green Dot corporation and I have not heard anything back

My review of personal experience with GO2bank. I have completely been satisfied with my banking experience. Never a problem never been victim of Identity theft. Everything is easy and all options are with a push of a few buttons. Applied for the credit building credit card. Like a lot of people I was young and cared less about my credit. Also as many I wished I cared more so let’s try to rebuild and back better. I hope the feature works for me but I honestly have no doubts. #1 satisfied customer

Horrible experience. I was a member of this bank for four years. On Friday the 20th I found them to send the documents that they requested. They expedited my case to a senior manager. And he reassured me that by the end of business day on Friday my account with blocked. Seeing how my Social Security check was going to be deposited and if it can’t with block, you’ll be sent back which then would cause me severe hardship wouldn’t be able to get my Social Security check for another three weeks. Needless to say it’s now Tuesday and I keep getting is the runaround. I’m happily, closing my account horrible experience nothing but lies As of 27 December my Social Security check was sent back leaving me with no birthday money was born on Christmas. No way to buy presents on Christmas. My rent is due on the first and I won’t be getting my check until the 14th. So probably going to be getting evicted. Also have no gas to get to work. Thanks a lot to go bank. You can go blank yourself.

Save and secure banking on-line!. Banking on-line without the hazzle of driving to the bank. I receive social security and with direct deposit, I have the ease of knowing exactly when my money is deposited. I receive my direct deposit six days prior to the usual 4th Wednesday of the month. This bank has several incentives that I like. Example; over draft proticyion up to $200 with direct deposit and only $12 overdraft fee ! There are are so many incentives, can't mention them all. You will be very happy if you switch, oh, if you bring family & friends to bank with GO2 Bank, they automatically get $50 & you receive $50 too.

GO2 Vault ready for me. GO2 has a great way to save store use funds at a seconds notice. Problem only I see is that it is next to impossible to get a real person to take your call. Example this Labor Day I am being charged for three reservations or $700 out of a secured Visa account. Easy enough I put money into my visa yet it takes a bit to get it back. I am still trying to talk to a person so my charges I do not in cure are credited back. Bottom line they do what they say get you 4.5 percent on funds the market can eat in a half hour and have never let me down to date. GO2 beats Chime hands down has my back and blows Venmo out of the water. R

Worst bank ever. I’m writing a honest review here….. so I’ve been dealing with greendot and go2bank for a long time now and hands down the worst bank I’ve ever encountered I’ve lost hundreds of dollars with them and today was my last straw I was going through a dispute with them for two months and I spoke to someone from their corporate office Friday which they told me I’d be getting my money back TODAY so I called today and they told me “your dispute was denied because we see error” is what they said so the day I’m supposed to get my money back they find a way to screw me over I’ve already filed with a lawyer and im suing them they’ve messed with me and my money too many times! They are scam artists and I don’t recommend this bank to anyone

Great bank. I’ve been with Go2bank a little under a year now and I really like my account. I just recently opted in for the over draft protection which came in handy when I needed to make purchases and there was enough money in my account so I appreciate that but the only downside is the fee for each transaction you make when your account is overdraft the fee is $15 per transaction. It would nice if it could be around the same amount as the monthly maintenance fee another thing I’m hoping for in the near future is for Go2 to collab with Zelle that would help tremendously when I need to send money to pay my rent.

GO2Bank has changed my finances for the better. GO2Bank has very transparent & easy to use mobile app that has changed my view completely in regards to trust and understanding online banking- I know my finances are safe & I feel comfortable navigating their site & mobile app- I am on Social Security & a fixed income & I know exactly where & what & to whom in regards to my income- I cannot imagine going to a traditional/ slow/confusing bank anymore- Thank you, Thank you , Thank you GO2Bank , Sincerely , Julie A Smith

Money not available to me when it was in my account. So I go to the atm to take money out of my account to pay a bill but my limit was 500 per atm transaction per day but my bill was 600 so I call customer service and he tells me that I can go into the bank with a teller and withdraw more so the teller is like oh it got declined 3times so u will have to try back tomorrow so here I am back on the phone with customer service and I was like the other customer service representative that I was on the phone with told me to go in the bank to a teller to get more money out my account and it declined so I tell him after he over talks me for 3mins I said I just called and they told me to go in the bank he says oh I’m sorry but I can connect u with the fraud dept because the computer put it as a fraud check I’m like sure can u connect me to her because I’ve been at this for a hour now so I’m on the phone yet again and she tells me I’ll fix it it will be just a moment I said I only have 30mins b4 they close and I’m done I’ll have to pay a late fee oh it will only b a minute so 20mins later she comes back on the phone and says I fixed it but u have to wait 10-15 minutes so I wait 25 mins but by this time the bill payment Ctr is closed and guess what I still wasn’t able to get any more money that day so I got charged a bunch of fees for trying to take my money out and I got a late fee from the bill company and I was late for work to boot…

App logs out. I’m ok with this bank but update the app. Include a dark mode theme and fix it so when you get logged out due to inactivity that I don’t have to restart my phone every time. Make the app more like Current bank. Maybe allow us to buy Crypto or at least send money to friends. Overdraft protection is a joke because you suspend it all the time even though I’m approved for up to $200. I got suspended for going $40 overdraft and then I might have to wait another month even though I get weekly direct deposit. Fix this app and make it more secure to prevent people stealing from my account. If you don’t improve it then I’ll switch back to Current bank account.

Customer Service more like USELESS service. Don’t bother trying to get a live person on the phone, or one that speaks good English. GO2 pushes their app on everything and anything you need. We all know that is virtually impossible for an app to know every situation that can come up. You need a live person to speak with 24/7. Bottom line…they (CS) sees what you see on the app. They sound like robots and will repeat over and over the same line. I think the one person a got on the phone had just woken up. I could tell by the way she answered the phone. You all know what that sounds like, cuz you’ve done it right? So unprofessional. And end the USELESS.

Better bank than most. I’ve been with GoBank for years and switched over to GO2bank. Getting my money switched was frustrating and confusing, but it worked out in the end. (I originally gave it 1 star due to the frustration, but it all fixed itself in the end.) The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because many useful financial apps like Experian or Acorn do not recognize GoBank/GO2bank. They are never listed. I can’t even request GO2bank to be added to Experian cause there’s a digit in its name. Even when I tried to connect my GoBank account to GO2bank through Plaid, nothing came up when searching it. It’s ridiculous that other companies don’t recognize it even though it’s been around a long time and I was online banking with them way before other online banks started such as Chime. I think if there is a way to fix it. It would help customers out so much. One more small critique is I liked the simplicity of the GoBank app home page. I don’t like GO2bank’s. I’d like to be able to clearly see my account, see any savings, transfer funds, etc. in one place like GoBank.

Target only issue but everything else is good. I have had many issues at target and it’s only in the early stages of being a member of go2. Any sttem Tj use v card at target it would get shut down for suspicious purchase and anytime over 500 dollars would also lock it up but I love this mobile nano for the full control at your app and unlike a competitor or different option for mobile banking this is 40x better for issues needing customers services M as the other big competitor do not have that, just a elk untrained dept at other choices? Go 2 Beni hss much more responsive resources and never had an issue unresolved

BEWARE!!!!. I attempted to have a portion of my check direct deposited into this fraudulent bank. Thankfully, I only lost $25. All of my direct deposit is electronically sent at the same time as I work for a very large company. I have attempted multiple times to find out where my $25 has gone that was direct deposited into this bank and they repeatedly have said my company has never deposited it. I have gone back to confirm account and routing numbers with my employer and the deposit was sent to this establishment. The first chat I had yesterday, they said it would be fixed by midnight. Customer service is ALL foreign and very hard to understand. Everyone I have spoken with/chatted with since yesterday has said there has been no direct deposit. Please don’t open your account with this “bank”. If I could give negative stars, they would be a -100. I have stopped direct deposit and will be closing this account IF I ever receive the money already sent to them. FRAUD ALERT FRAUD ALERT FRAUD ALERT.

Do not bank here. I had fraudulent charges on my card and they said it will take 30 business days to remove. The 2 places that charged are know for fraudulent charges and other banks automatically block but not go2. They are a scam bank. Go2 bank developer replied with call them they will help, I did they said 30 business days to remove fraudulent charges. Other banks stop these companies from charging automatically that you allowed. Do not use Go2 bank.

Why I give a five star rating. Great card & Bank Sucky App. I have to say that this bank is pretty great with the switching of funds and transfers and sending or paying bills even online shopping and tap with my phone all awesome features that work great! The app is a headache I haven’t been able to log into my account in over a week now. So I’ve got to depend on my alerts to tell me when my direct deposit hits and guess my balance. Because I had to change my password three times and everytime it still never let me log in, but yet locks my account? Confusing and extremely frustrating not to mention inconvenience for me who is somebody on the go. I even had the feature added for facial recognition to save the hassle but yet it still don’t believe it’s me from the same phone I’ve been using? That’s the only issue; which is an issue

DO NOT GET THIS BANK APP.. Most irritating banking app I’ve dealt with. I tried to go buy a new phone and my account got locked. I contacted them. They took over a month because I stopped contacting them after sending in my documents for “identity verification”. I contacted them today and got told my account is permanent blocked due to unusual activity, when all the “unusual activity” was all me as I very clearly stated from the beginning. I can’t make a credit card payment, it is now past due, I don’t know if that’s going to affect my credit more than it is. I’m very disappointed because I really liked this app until I tried to make a big purchase. Now they’re telling me I need to contact the originator for funds.🤨

Wish I could give -5 stars DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. Purchased a card from Walgreens, put over $300 on my account. Tried to register my card after activation, my account end up restricted with “limited access”. Customer Service reps were rude and give you the runaround or just say nothing at all. Still can’t get my money back. I got this card specifically to pay bills but can only use for purchases in store or online. All they kept saying is “I’m sorry” and repeating themselves. This whole operation is a joke. I was better off just throwing my money out of a moving window And to respond to the “Developers Response”, calling or chatting with your Customer Service will just cause more problems! They are not helpful in resolving anything! I wasted 6 hours trying to get my issues resolved and just kept getting silence instead of answers or sent in circles when they did actually respond. Catch up with Chime and take notes on how to run a legit business FOR THE CUSTOMERS WITH EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICES!!

Horrible customer service. If you call their customer service reps they are very rude and can toy with you they out me on hold for 30mins then the lady picked up the phone acted like she couldn’t hear me and hung up i would go with chime or money lion is better and more established pre paid banks and if they dnt know something they just keep you on hold til you hang up...then i get lied too about my dispute after my card was stolen ! They told me I would be contacted about my dispute then i never got contacted and never got my provisional credit after the 10th day and after I called to complain they told me I was denied even after my card was stolen and used after getting the run around on the phone after waiting for hrs on old then transferred to two departments and then hung up on this isn’t a good bank at all I should of stood with chime

Fraud theft. They locked my account and the middle of the night would not let me pull out. My money kept telling me I have to wait 7 to 10 business days to get my money when I get my card when I try to call to speak with somebody I kept getting prompted to put in my card number that I do not have. I tried my old one said it was invalid soon. Cannot get a hold of anybody to figure out a way to pull out my money, talk to somebody on chat finally and was told there’s nothing I can do but wait for my car to be there when I did not authorize them to do anything to my account I did not authorize them to lock my account to withhold my money I am a single mother of a seven-year-old my money is to support my child and I cannot do that when the bank keeps randomly locking my account. This is happened to me every 2 to 3 months. I will be closing my account and I do not recommend anybody using this bank. They are thieves. They are fraud. No other bank recognize them as a bank because of them always fraud other people.

Bad business, and refuse to give up money from a dispute. I had made a dispute for my money to be back on my card. Somebody had took money off my card, and I had told them that I had my card, and they are refusing to give up the money that they had took from me from the merchandise store That I was not aware of and the day that happened I was in my bed asleep when I got a alert on my phone saying that money’s been taken off my card and they so call saying they are doing the investigation and it don’t take that long to give somebody their money they keep giving The run around saying or 20 days she post to get your money back on your card and talk 45 days that the final dispute reviewing in otherPlease do not sing your own money to their accounts or to their bank. Online banking. I don’t know why I haven’t done this before. It is absolutely the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Transferred my retirement check to this bank account and it came in two days early. Will never go back to a regular bank. I am amending this because I tried to deposit a check that my boyfriend gave me which I get every month for household expenses and tried five times and it would not go through. Finally ended up going to the bank to cash it now I have to figure out how to get the cash in the bank account. You guys need to work on that and get that glitch fixed.

Fake Reviews, Liars, Dysfunctional Service. They have held hundreds of dollars for 7 business days. They said once the 7th business day hits the "pending" transaction will be posted. The support team said I might receive my money on the 7th business day and a dispute will be opened for 10 more business days where they will "discuss with the merchant to return the funds" even though the merchant said that they don't have my funds, which is true because the transaction was declined by GO2Bank, not the merchant. This bank worked well for a while then started doing sketchy stuff, such as holding funds as "pending", denying the history of declined charges through Apple Pay (there used to be zero issues but something changed). If they steal my money I will update this review. Got my money back after they read this review.

Don’t do it, especially if you need something the same day.. First off, the reason I opened an account with Go2 was to use it as a spending allowance separate from my normal bank, to keep my accountable for my budget. Absolutely the worst decision I’ve made, regarding banking. If you need anything in a timely manner, this is not the bank for you. You can only move $100 to the card on your first transfer, that one takes 7 days. After that, they claim 3 business days to complete a transfer and measly $1000 daily limit for transfers, capping at $3000 in a 30 day period. Customer service; non existent. You’d think they offer the chat feature so you do not have to wait on hold on the phone, nope, just as painful. Furthermore, if you have the chat open and minimize the window, you’re logged out of your account, which makes it no different than waiting on hold on your phone. When calling customer service (now this is just my assumption) they purposefully play irritating music with the intent of driving you to the point to give up and resort to using their shabby chat feature. I am not sure who the ideal demographic for this bank but it seems like it’s geared toward people who have a hard time getting credit and use very small amounts of money. Would give zero stars if it was an option.

Horrible. Steve Harvey ought to be ashamed of himself for promoting green dot/GO2bank. They have horrible customer service, they aren’t open 24/7 as stated on their website. They are rude and don’t speak good English. I will never recommend a bank that has foreign banking customer service for anyone. Their accents can difficult to comprehend at times and no one person shares the same answer to your problems. If you’re account is hacked good luck with getting it solved swiftly or in 10 business days as they say… one month later and I still haven’t heard anything about my $550. Despicable! I will be closing my account once this is resolved and doing my homework to make sure my next debit card will be with a company with customer service within the United States and 24 hr service to help catch bad guys immediately when things go wrong.

Customer service is 1 lady. Everything was fine until I lost my card they sent another and could never activate it customer service consist of ONE lady that can’t activate the cards not thru apps not thru browsers not thru phone so card was no good they sent another same thing then a third same thing I don’t think go 2 bank is legit I think it’s a handful of people with one lady taking every single call I don’t think it’s as big as we think funny months later they sent me another card in mail just for fun I’m gona see if this fourth card will activate I believe they can shut down at any moment and keep all your money.. what r you gona do about it? I tell you nothing is what your going to do about bc your money will be gone and u will have that one single lady taking u round and round with no results. I PROMISE U nothing but headaches with them

Horrible Customer Support. I have never been so insulted and frustrated. When I tried MULTIPLE times chatting with an agent about an issue I was having regarding a check, I was met with the agents just repeating back the facts i have given them, and then the most unprofessional responses. I was told to "try cashapp !" (yes, that is exactly how it was typed to me i screen shot the whole convo because I couldn't believe it was real) or to just "use different check !" when I was having issues depositing a small check that my GRANDMA gave me for my birthday. And then when I called, I was pretty much told that Go2 can't help me at all and I actually have to call Ingo Money. Funny story about that, I can't even create an Ingo Money account because of my account here! Anytime i try registering it says my SSN is already associated with an account, and anytime i try then logging in with my Go2bank login or even do a password reset, it will then tell me that they don't have any accounts linked to my info. I hate this app and the company. This is outrageous.

Revvi. I really love this go to I was able to, and I love how it gives you notification your card so that we can make sure transaction all accounted for. Everything was very easy and manageable. I not too happy about the $15 fee from the overdraft protection that happened the first time I got my direct deposit but I did that never happened again because it also shows your credit score just went up 24 points less than two weeks so I know it’s working, I’m doing I’m gonna keep it up. Read this!. Never got my free phone. Customer service is outsourced to a different country and is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Direct deposit picture taking is not smooth and not free. If theroa problem be prepared to be on phone for 2 hours. There is no physical branches you can walk into. I needed a card to have direct deposits from a job in a pinch so I figured I’d try go2. Wow what a terrible mistake. And lastly the most unbelievable thing. Someone used my card fraudulently to purchase concert tickets on the other side of the United States on the night the charges were made. Go to bank notified me within minutes of the charge being made and asked if it was me obviously I told them no, locked my card and called go to bank immediately. This was four weeks ago! They’re “dispute department” is doing an “investigation” are you kidding me! like investigation?come on man this is such a joke do not use this bank! RUN! I’ll be lucky if I ever see my money back. I am nowhere near the only one in there is no possible way that go to bank has a 4.7 rating that is inflated just read the reviews if you’re reading this you’ve been warned!

Trash now. I started with this bank maybe a year ago… I love it. Over the last few months its been nothing but hassle. The app doesn’t load properly, transactions register late, services are “temporarily down” always. Most recently I sent an instant bank transfer to my Go2 account as I had done several times and my money disappeared. I tried calling to speak to a live human and they are busy with too many callers. call them the phone hangs up. So I get on the chat, and all they say is I’m sorry for your inconvenience and everything that I suggest they do to make me a satisfied customer they cannot do. I am sorry we do not have the capabilities. I cannot do that. What kind of company leaves their customers unsatisfied unhappy and with no answers I do not, do not, do not, recommend that anyone use this bank right now, if this was last year, I would say it was great today I would say try somewhere else.

Refer a friend is a scam. I referred a friend we met all the requirements to each receive the $50 and it's been weeks since this friends first qualifying direct deposit he has had more since and still no refer a friend bonus. I have also contacted customer service 3 times now and all I get is they'll look into it and let me know within 48 hrs which has not happend. The first time I contact them through email and the customer service agent was very short and border line ride with there response of " we have 45 days to decide if you qualify" no where in everything I read did it say 45 days. It says 48 hours after first qualifying direct deposit which was 2 weeks ago. So unless this changes real soon 1 star review and do not bother referring anyone. Even if you do everything they say they will just give you the runaround.

Dissatisfied. I am very dissatisfied with this app and your customer service. I try to get a hold of an individual through the contact us as I was typing he kept saying if you need more time I kept entering and sending what I was trying to talk about and it’s like he didn’t even see anything. And then I go on call and finally get one ordered and listen through the whole menu afterwards and they said if you’d like to go back and return to the main menu press to I press two and then I get this lady that comes on they’re calling me a liar, saying that I ordered it through the app when I picked up my card and I called the number on my card. I don’t appreciate your customers calling me a liar that is poor customer service. Quite frankly, that is the type of woman associate that I would not want to speak with ever again if I have the option of either talking to her or not putting my money through your guys funds, I’d rather not put my money through your funds. Also, my app does not show any option to get a replacement card, if you’d like I can send screenshots that way that lady can see. I am a liar. Oh no, I do not suggest this app to anybody seen the problem is I’ve already had with it.

Horrible horrible bank and app. I never recieved a card. They said they couldn’t send me one. I tried to transfer money to my PayPal to shut down the account after they took 5 dollars and told me bc I didn’t get government benefits or a paycheck I couldn’t do anything even though I got direct deposits from a side gig I have (granted only 5 ish bucks a month but still). When I finally got that taken care of, and they gave me my money back, I was sick of not being able to use my money so I stopped sending money there and continued to try to get a card/be able to move my money without them sending me a check after closing the account. Then they took more money bc I stopped putting money into an account I couldn’t use (of which I had put 65 dollars into at this point) DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE BANK

DONT DO IT!. They have all sorts of hidden fees when using there debit card. It took me over an hour to finally speak to a manager who quickly refunded the two pending transaction fees (that I wasn’t concerned about) for less than a dollar and when I reminded her I was clearly talked about the the first and second fee (total of $6) ever to my new account she said I’m sorry I already processed the refund…. Instead of being refunded for $6 I was refunded .89$. The literally definition of sucking you dry! Not too mention customer service is horrible and can’t seem to give the same answer twice! They’ve done a great job in clearing out my account and closing it for me 100%! Scum of the earth I swear! Unfortunately, you won’t ever read this till you’re in the same boat…

Don’t dare try to dispute a charge!. Well over the past 4 years I have switched banks numerous times. Mainly because online banks have become so competitive and want your business so bad that the perks that come with online accounts are almost un-bank-ly well let’s just say that this is by far the worst banking experience I have had thus far! I have been trying to dispute my charges on my account for the past 2-3 weeks through the chat feature and they keep disconnecting me and when I go back into the window they don’t show you what they said last before the chat session was closed. I have been super busy and every time I call in the automated system doesn’t allow me to talk to anyone because I don’t have the correct number so I need to find the old number to get connected to a live person. I have also been trying to change my number on the app and it keeps coming up with an error message and will not let me do it. So all in all this bank is definitely awarded a one star. It’s not the worst online bank and maybe once I’m able to get ahold of a live person it might eve n be a great bank but until I get my money back in my account which is now over drawn because of charges that were out on my account because my phone got stolen and my card was on some of the apps I am gonna definitely keep this rating as a one star. Which is ashame because it has a lot of potential!

Worse banking experience. This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had. I am still yet to receive my debt card and now they tell me I cannot generate a barcode for some reason so there is no way to access my money. When I said I would pursue with an attorney if I cannot get my money the agent who I was chatting with ended the chat and I got logged out of my account. I tried calling and I was on hold forever. This is ridiculous. Never bank with this bank. They never once gave me a reason as to why I could not get a barcode. I have already verified my address this debt card was shipped on June 20,2023 and was expected to arrived June 23,2023. Then I get that it’s arriving June 28,2023 and now we are in July and still no card and not able to access my money.

Lots of fees. This app will get you so be carefull. The 200 overdraft protection is for only 24 hours then they charge you $15 per transaction which can really add up and they only give 24 hours to make up any amount you overdraft. So there really is no point other then they make a bunch of money off you. I had called to get a curtesy one time fee reversal because I had to travel out of state because my father had just died but they refused to over turn not even one $15 over draft fee so my paycheck was 300 short and I was unable to make my car payment. They will also keep charging you the $5 fee even if your not using your account. I’d steer clear of this app. There are much better ones for mobile banking out there.

Ok at first. At first seemed like a good prepaid bank account that Gave you a decent overdraft amount credit if you met certain criteria. I met all criteria and was given the 200 overdraft protection which helps someone just starting a small business out for the first 2 months all was good then out of the blue I get a message saying my overdraft protection has been suspended to call the number on the back of the card which I did and after being on hold for 30 minutes the rep comes back on the line and tells me it’s because I went over the limit of over drafts fir the statement period first of there is no mention of a limit when you sign up for it second of all for the first 2 months there was no limit I called again to try and get info and to make a case after speaking and being on the phone for a almost an hour I got hung up on. Will update if gets resolved

They took $400 from my account at an ATM in Brooklyn, something that I have never been to Brooklyn and at the time that happened that they took the money, I was working in Corona Queens, so I wonder? If I was working at that time and had my card with me, how could something like this happen because the only ones who know my pin to withdraw money from an ATM are the bank and I and I was not the one who did it, so I just want my money back every penny that is in that account I work very hard 😡 they don't know what to say now I have to wait more than 10 days for a refund according to them 🙄 I better get my money back 🤬

All issue charging for deposit. So just about every other time I sign into my GO2bank app it freezes up. I have to either start my phone all over again or delete and reinstall. It’s pretty annoying and on top of that as I look through my transactions and they actually charge you to deposit money in the to my account??? I’m sorry but I’ve never seen a bank charge you for depositing money. If this is the case, please explain yourself not quite sure about the this bank or not I’m on the fence.

Bogus and Steals Personal Information. I didn’t apply for the card, it just arrived in the mail. I called to activate it following the phone prompts and of course they asked for all personal information…full legal name, date of birth, address, phone number, social security number and as soon as they had my full information they declined my application!! This is a scam and a great way to steal your identity and personal information, I bank with Chime online bank and have been using for over 5 years. I couldn’t be happier with Chime. Stay away from this bank. It doesn’t even deserve my one star rating

Worst I have ever gone through with a bank. I have been with them for 5-6 months and from time to time , well I should say allot the app or website does not recognize my password, I have tried several times to change my password, it accepts it successfully but then when I go to login it says unsuccessful wrong login I’ve contacted customer service and I wait the 24 hours but then say to use a different device which I have done on my laptop, I’ve never had such a bad experience with a bank until now. Debit Card Transfer Unavailable. I had to update my last review. This is what I’m being told on the app”Debit card transfer unavailable”. I tried all day yesterday and it’s 7:32am CST. Your call center is closed because I tried it already. I was able to transfer $14 on the 7th of February. Now the app is saying I’m being sent a new card. Why? I never requested it and why do I need it? The closest thing I have to a checking account is right now linked to my GO2 account. Why can’t I make a transfer? I used this card one time at McDonalds because I just wanted to make sure I had access to the transferred money. It was fine but this was 4 or 5 days ago. What happened??????

Terrible would not recommend. This company has cheated me out of money. First i have been receiving over $3200 in direct deposit the last 6 months but they refused to opt me in to the overdraft protection so that’s false advertisement. secondly there is no way to move your money from the account if you lose your card. also they cheated me out of my security deposit for there secured card after i closed the account saying fees for closing put me in negative after i paid my balance of. i’m seeking legal action and would not recommend anyone use their service it is a scam.

Decent Features When App Decides To Work. Currently the app doesn't work- log in has not worked for 2 days (have to log in on browser to view statements). No sign an update is coming either. Go2Bank does not use Plaid either so you are limited in account access features and moving money between outside accounts. No widgets so you can't access your balance on home screen like Chime, Cash App, the big banks, or...well, just about any other online banking service.

Always On the Money. Hats off to Go2 Bank’s online banking and now newly added Vault Savings! Go2 is always there to assist you with your banking needs and wants and when you call in the CS reps are so friendly and pleasant that banking is fun…the Go2 debit card always works and with Vault savings in and out transfers are easy! In a time of monetary complexities no matter what way you go or look…Go2 Bank has your back! Thanks all!

Waste of time‼️‼️‼️. Customer service is crap. I spoke to 3 different representatives yesterday and no one could assist me. They all were clueless about what I needed help with. On top of the the online representatives didn’t make themselves known in the chat and simply said “haven’t heard from you in a while and disconnected the chat. It doesn’t even prompt you when a representative enters into the chat. I needed this card to transfer money from another card that now apparently linked to them. It’s safe to say that I will not be using them and I do not recommend them‼️‼️‼️

Awesome Bank App!. This application is still relatively new to us but it has worked extremely well with all of our needs. I am about to use the cash deposit barcode for the first time, I photographed it from another phone I’m hoping that it will stillWork the way that it is supposed to when using the telephone that has the application itself. The bank itself is fantastic but the app is making it to where I don’t even want to bank with you anymore my card is locked right now and I just spent 20 minutes trying to get into my account and unlocking my card and it’s still not working now I have to get to work and can’t get gas like I need my money please fix it it wouldn’t even let me in for so long and now it won’t even let me unlock my card everytime it just says error please fix it please I need my money

Getting Your Money Out. So first off all: GO2Bank has some of the worst customer service Representatives that I have EVER dealt with. They don’t accountability for ANYTHING. They had an outage once on the first of the month that caused tons of people to pay their rent late and they weren’t sympathetic to it at all. Second: You have to pay to get your money. They limit digital transfers to $1500. You have 2 options: Close your account and get a check or go to an ATM and paying a fee for every $400 you get. So essentially they make you pay to do anything other than pay for a physical item. I only use this bank as a back up if my main financial account is too ODed. (The last few years have been tight). And with that being the case it has been a terrible experience. They do not allow you to do anything in order to pay your finances the way you need to.

Where is my money. I’ve been using go to bank for a few years now and all of a sudden I’m having the worst issues ever with you alls system. I’m missing 150 dollars and am being double charged when I purchase gas. I tried to get a uhaul and a mysterious 75 dollar charge not authorized by uhaul prevented me from moving and have received 2 off those mysterious charges for Avis that they did not authorize. So I’m looking into legal action at this point because it is not being taken care of and Go2bank is stealing money from my account at this point and I have receipts for everything

Remember this. I love it Go2 Bank app is sensational I love it. You won’t be making a mistake if you try to download it and use this bank online banking account. I love it and it hasn’t done anything wrong to me and I haven’t lost a dime everything is accounted for and it helps me keep up with my finances give it a try you’ll love it five stars 100%, 110% all across-the-board, you won’t regret it.

Loving this app now. I love using this app, when I first download it I had problems with able to use it because of the login, but now that’s all fixed. My only gripe about this is, it says that there’s no hidden fees unless you don’t have $200 on your account then it’s $5 which, I was charged last month but I’m wondering, will I be charged if I keep $200 on my account by the end of this month?

Not really a good card. U can not transfer from card to card like most prepaid card are doing then they want u to link a bank acct just to do the transfer so no it’s not even worth having and u can only withdraw $500 a day like really no it’s again not worth having oxygen card and chime and the other cards that does peer to peer is the best I thought u was able to transfer from peer to peer when I read about it but not u have to basically go inside a bank to have all ur money withdrawn off the card this bad for business get better an get with the peer to peer transfer fast

Think the app is broken. 🛠. I download the app, hit login (signed up account through website ) put in email, put in password, hit sign in, it loads for a second, then brings me right back to the log in screen. Doesn’t say wrong password or email anywhere it’s the same exact screen before I signed in even still has my email and password like I never even hit sign it. I do a lot of beta testing for even brand new apps and usually can at least get passed log in screen lol. If I can get this thing working I’ll update rating (if deserves a up or down) and I’ll update review.

Worst experience ever. I got a go2 bank card so my son could use it. They claimed to have no monthly maintenance fees. We’ll the card wasn’t used for a whole and they started charging a monthly fee of $5. When I logged in the balance was in the negative. They took $100 of my sons money. I called the customer service line and they said they couldn’t see any transactions on there end even though I could see it on the app. There was a ton of loud talking in the background so I could barely hear the agent and there. They were absolutely no help. I closed the account. Worst customer service I’ve ever had with a bank.

Please Be Careful made a purchase and the store where I bought gave me a refund when a couple of days passed, the deposit was supposed to be there, I called the bank and they hung up on me several times, they left me waiting several long minutes when they finally picked up the call, they told me that They deposit the money to me on such a day when I call that day the money disappeared nothing comes out and the money says they refunded it to you and this is a scam they steal the little money you have in the account so the customer service is very disrespectful I have never seen anything so disgusting as this bank

Warning go with Chime, they’ll let merchants.... This Green dot Corp, has bad customer service. Don’t trust your money with them you’ve been warned. If you dispute a transaction they will not return your money or give you a provisional credit as they promise within 10 days even if you send the letter in on time. They’re a P.O. Box company no email address for customers and they hire foreigners. That can’t understand or comprehend your issue. They will say they’ll escalate your dispute to their fake investigations team. But it’ll be another 10-30 days and you will not get your money. If you have pending transactions, it will disappear from your account transactions as if it settles but you will not get your money back and they’ll tell you they have no record of it even if you have screenshots. If you use this online banking get your legal team ready, you’re going to need it! Record all phone calls. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED

Not getting notifications. Look, you stopped texts which is stupid. Now when I get a notification they’re silent whereas with texts I can change the text notifications for sound where the app doesn’t cannot. Also, no longer even getting push notifications or emails on any purchases over $1.00! No emails no texts no nothing! I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled and no changes! Fix your stuff!

Mr Gregory J Van Gelder. I have been a customer of GO2Bank since Fall of 2021. I was formerly with Greendot Bank for over 12 years. My experience with GO2Bank has been exceptional and hassle-free from the outset. Customer service is above par compared with other financial institutions, the app is very easy to use and on the whole all that I can say which I believe would be of benefit to customers would be to increase the capacity of the recent transaction section of the app.

Horrible. I will never in my life choose this bank ever again..., I linked my personal card to my GO2bank card, I decided to deposit money that took forever to be deposited on my card. I contacted customer service asking is there a way to unlink my card, he first tells me that there isn’t anything showing on his end that my card was linked 😤so I’m telling him I’m looking at the screen showing my card is linked to this. I say don’t worry about just unlink my card I’ll just use it without linking my personal card to the account. He’s says at this moment we don’t have a option to remove your linked card at this time but we will update you when the feature is available wth......

Scammers!. Terrible “bank” and application! I bought my card, downloaded app and was about to start verification process. Website/application are both having “technical issues “ and said that application declined - which is bizarre! There is no refunds for such a card and I’m simply shocked by such a service and they are even got FDIC license! I’m about to call my lawyer and open lawsuit against this “financial institution”. That is purest and impudent scam I ever saw! Not sure how does it possible that they still exist at all! DO NOT purchase this garbage or put 10$ on your balance just to watch how clear my review is! AVOID!!!

Terrible app. So I got sent a bank debit card by them, so I decided hey I’m gonna sign up for this banking app because it overall seems pretty good. So I signed up and gave them my identification, social security number, birthdate, address, etc. and next thing I know I get permanently locked out of my account for absolutely no reason, I decided to contact them because they have all my information and I can’t login to my account due to “unusual activity” so my account got permanently locked and not a single chat agent could tell me why I was locked out of my account, nor what I can do to fix it. Seems pretty suspicious too me.

Alright. Just started using my card. It’s okay so far. I am having my taxes deposited onto it so hopefully no issues will occur. I have seen a lot of negative reviews so far. So far tho, I haven’t had any troubles with connecting it to Apple Pay and doing instant apple transfers to it. I am unable to use the debit card feature to add money it always says unavailable even tho it’s from a us bank but that’s not a deal breaker at all for me. I do wish that they had save your charge. Other then that the card is alright.

The worse app/company EVER. As the previous person wrote the app is horrible! Tried to login and was redirected my information could not be verified it is the same information that I logged in when I set up the account. We’re trying to call support I entered in my card number and was told my information could not be processed. Nothing has changed it’s the same information however now I can’t get anyone on the phone nor can I get into my account and my money sits there. I regret that I ever got into business with this company! Save yourself the trouble in the heart ache and the time and do not apply!

If i could leave no stars i would. The most awful banking experience in my life, their site barely functions long enough to make an account and by the time I was able to make one it wouldn’t let me log in to it because the site breaks again. It has been hours since I bought a prepaid card with money on it as a gift and we have not been able to activate the card. Now i wasted a large sum of money and my time for absolutely nothing, except my holidays to be ruined. Then customer support doesn’t exist because they’re experiencing an “outage”. Go2bank is a fraudulent company.

DO NOT BUY THE PREPAID CARD. I bought one of this prepaid cards at 7-eleven and put $$, my daughter was going to a field trip I couldn’t go and I gave it to her so she can buy food or whatever because were she was going you can only pay with card( no cash at all) I was trying to activate the card, and kept saying not able to activate this account at this moment! So frustrating they CANT help you at all on Costumer service”, because the only way you can activate this stupid card is trough the app or the website (helplessness! And to get my money back is another deal! People, don’t go trough this ( I gave 1 star because you’re not able to put less)smh

I like This App!. I’ve had this app for about 2 months now and like so many aspects of this app, especially the opportunity to turn it on and off. I really wish there was a way to at times enter names of some who you want to block from having access to your account. This would be SO much easier than cutting up the debit card & waiting WEEKS for the new debit card to arrive! Other than that, I am COMPLETELY satisfied with app!

Way too many fees and unprofessional customer service. They charge higher fees than most others. Generally other banks, including Chime, etc, will refund some of the fees they charge to your account if you ask them.. go2bank charges $3 to use out of network ATMs, $5 maintenance fees monthly, and they charge “transaction fees”. When I contacted their customer service to inquire about the possibility of refunding, they were extremely unprofessional, stating “elaborate on that” and while I was typing my response, they sent “nah, can’t do that.” And ended the chat… I actually liked go2bank, but that is a major deal breaker for me, so I’ll be finding another bank.

I love this bank it has helped me in many ways especially with my credit easy access to stores easy access to cash easy access to everything I love this app is helping me save money and helping me with my score credit I get direct deposit I get up overdraft protection I just love this app it’s really really a good bank I love it

This bank changed my life. Go bank made my Vtransactions so easy. Everything I need to know about my account is there at my figure tips. My credit score has improved since I open a secure credit card. Any time of day, I can log in and all my transactions are there for me to see. I have even deposited checks from my phone and the money was there in a few days. I love this bank!

Way better than Chime!. This mobile bank is great! They allow me to cash checks right away when most online and mobile banks like Chime make you wait until you have set up a direct deposit before check cashing is allowed. Another cool feature is the cash back you can earn on gift card’s when you buy them directly in the app.

Update this app ASAP. The app is great. But every time I try to login either from the app or the website itself. It says to try again later. I wait fifteen minutes to an hour to try and see if it works that way but I keep getting the same error over and over and it’s becoming annoying. did you all provide any updates to this app? Maybe a minor bug fixes can help solve this problem.

Love your App. Your account and app are great. Easy, simple and features I need. Have my payroll deposits set to it and get’s credited at least one day earlier! Now opened a vault savings and the $200 overdraft is are both beneficial options. One suggestion, for additional overdraft protection, would be great to link your vault savings to the checking then allow ATM and maybe few other transactions not covered by the free OD protection! JTIDE

Aggravating. I like having go2 bank, it is a great bank. I do have a few issues with app, majority of time i can’t log in to check anything, tells me to try again later, so i can’t move money when my balance goes negative. Then charges me a $15 late fee before 24 hrs is up. Not even at fault cause it won’t let me log in, it gets very aggravating, especially on a tight budget, please fix app

No access to money on account. Great bank when it comes to direct deposit and keeping money but g the bad part is when you don’t have your card because you can’t take it out weather you have another account with a different bank or want to get cash and then the wait time for your new card becomes to long and you basically have your money just sitting there and if you need it bad you still do t have access to it.

Reliable? No way.. If you’re looking for a reliable card, one where your account info & balance are accurate & you can get ahold of customer service…DON’T get this card. I had GreenDot, they switched over to this & it’s been a major headache. Today, my account balance & transactions are not updating in the app or online. I spent 35 minutes on hold only for her to disconnect the call. Went online to chat & John Lester gave me info for resetting my password & ended the chat. I will definitely be using a different card going forward. It’s unacceptable to have to deal with not being able to access your money when you have to.

Well..... its a good card but... Ever since i switched over all i get is frustration and yes i have DD here . 1st was the promo i never got from switching over from another bank , i talked to customer service and they said i was not eligible because i dont have direct deposit which i have for a few months already, i told the agent to double check my acount and the agent closed the conversation. I paid a lot of fees on this bank and so far i get nothing but negative results from agents, some are just mean

Horrible customer service. I tried to call the company to receive no response multiple times, and receiving no response when I tried chatting with them. I never received my card because the stupid app won’t let me change my address because I need a card to access it… then I try to simply close my account, well that won’t work, again I need the card. This is such a stupid feature, just let me change my address, what does having another card have to do with it, I depend service now or I’ll have to start taking legal actions

Avoid Avoid Avoid. I’ve used almost every online bank you can think of in the last 8 years (my fault I know). When I tell you that GO2Bank is the absolute worst, I mean that with every fiber in my being. Beyond the lackluster app experience, abhorrent customer service reps, and the monthly fee that pops up whenever it chooses, they DO NOT care nor put any effort into retrieving funds you dispute. I was lied to by 2 different CSR’s and a “Claims” agent. The 2 CSR’s said my money would be refunded within 10 days as it was pending from a purchase that wasn’t authorized, then after the 10 day I called and another CSR stated that the money was actually withdrawn and that I’d have to make a claim to dispute so they can investigate. I’m now 14 days in, and have heard nothing, haven’t received and email, let alone a call back. You’re better off using Netspend or literally any other online banking platform
