Fun game, needs more unlocks. The game is great and a ton of fun to play. It’s not too difficult by any means and is really relaxing to pick up and enjoy. The game just needs more unlocks to spend money on. I’ve only played for a short bit but already got to the Pro Tour, won the first event, and now I’ve unlocked all the equipment with still like $500K in the bank. If I win all the events, I’ll have millions of dollars but nothing to spend the money on. Would be great if they implement more equipment or character stat boosts or something so you can continuously get better and eventually go back and play courses totally differently than before. Overall it’s a game with a lot of potential.

Cannot recommend this game until swing meter is fixed. Thought I’d try getting back into this game after experiencing this problem a year or two ago. To my dismay, it has not been fixed since then. The swing meter is absolutely broken. When I think I tap it at the right moment, the bar keeps going until it reaches maximum power and then I can’t tap it again to determine how accurate of a swing it is. It’s not a consistent problem, so it’s a matter of luck trying to get through a full course of 18 holes without throwing a fit over the game not recognizing a tap when it receives one. Do NOT play this game if you want a smooth gameplay experience with few to no bugs. This swing meter is PARAMOUNT to have fixed, and even though I’m playing on an iPhone 13 Pro, the fact that it doesn’t work properly is very disappointing.

Amazing game. This game is fantastic. I’ve put quite a few hours into it. It’s very addicting but also can be very relaxing (until you keep hitting your ball into a tree). This game has kept me occupied on many long night shifts. Also there are only like 2 or 3 microtransactions that are not at all necessary to buy to play the game normally and the game does not bug you to buy things at all. However, I highly recommend paying the couple dollars to remove ads. The graphics are really well done in a (obviously) pixel 8-bit type style. The controls are very easy to learn but hard to master. It’s all about that perfect timing and angle while factoring in the wind and which club to use (which it recommends for you). In summary, this is an extremely well made game that is a great relaxing time passer. I highly recommend it, even if you’re not “into” golf. Trust me, you won’t be able to put your phone down.

Great game!. Overall, this game has a TON of potential. I have been looking for a game like this forever on the App Store and so glad it’s finally made! The music is chill and relaxing and gameplay is easy, but still a bit difficult. The career mode is pretty great as well. I will say that the putting is a TAD bit finicky. If your ball is right next to the hole, it can be difficult to know exactly what power to put on it, or it’ll go right past the hole. But other than that, it’s a great game and one I would 100% recommend. If you all add a few more courses and some more career mode stuff/features, it would be even better than what it is right, which would be saying a lot.

Fun! Until the end…. I was having great fun with this game at first, and without hesitation paid the .99 to remove ads. Once you get the hang of it, you will start winning… easily. As in, like, -20 on the final tournament series, the Masters courses. That is, until you reach the final one, the American Open. Some holes are impossible to escape with anything better than a triple bogey. The fairways are narrow and lined with trees, and with the wind being randomly generated, your choices are to hit a tree right off the tee box, or send the ball wayyyy OB. Meanwhile, the CPU players are finishing -5 or better. In general, the tree “hit boxes” are messed up, and the wind around the green affects the ball totally different than it does from the tee boxes. With some serious tweaking, more courses, and more upgrade/player customization options, this game could be five stars.

Great Game that could use 1 New Feature. This game is fantastic, I’m writing this review after taking 1st on every course except for the American Open (it pains me to play it). I haven’t begun playing the paid courses, but notice that this game lacks something other golf games capitalize on: the ability to make your own courses. I know this would likely take away from the paid courses, so I would understand if course creation was a paid feature for a couple bucks, but having this would make the game’s replayability endless. New courses could be played every day made by different players from around the world, mimicking real life courses or adding weird and wacky obstacles. If this were added I would never put this game down!

Cool game but very frustrating. I have to admit this is a pretty fun game but some big problems make it an L for me. First of all the courses are fun but once you get to a certain point the courses become super hard and frustrating. Also there is a putting thing where you make a perfect putt but it rolls over the hole and this happens way too much! Sometimes it will happen a bunch of times in a row. One time I drove onto the green on a par three and got a monster bogey because of the putting thing where it goes over the hole. Lastly there is an extremely annoying tap glitch where my tap doesn't register. When this happens my shot gets messed up and can ruin an entire round which can be a long time. This glitch happens every two or so holes and is especially annoying on putts. This game has potential but a lot of flaws.

Great game, frustrating putting. This game has pretty solid mechanics as far as wind and slope go, and can be quite addicting to play and try to progress. However, sweet baby Jesus is the putting frustrating sometimes. There are far too many times when my putts go straight over the hole without so much as an incremental decrease in speed. In addition, the slope on the greens is often inconsistent and again, frustrating. Nothing is worse than hitting two great shots then watching the ball roll right over the hole and not go in. Yes, I could putt better, but for being so particular about the accuracy of wind and fairway slope, you would think that putting would at least be a bit closer to being as realistic. Other than this aneurysm developing feature however, this game is quite good.

Incredible and I want it to improve. I’ve played this game a ton. I love it. I play it tournaments daily and compete near the top with the best of the best competitors. Tons of things that are really well thought out, great controllable mechanics. It’s just a lot of fun and I will continue to play this for a while for sure, but I know how to make this game even better. I have two big suggestions that can take some of the frustrations of this game away. 1. Introduce practice mode: Allow players to go to any course and choose any hole to practice. Allow players to reshoot shots and tamper with wind conditions. This would help in preparation for tournament play. 2. Add a first person view at point of shot: it’s difficult to tell when shooting a shot near trees if the ball will hit the tree or go past it. First person view could make it more clear to the player if the tree is in the way of their shot. I have other smaller suggestions but if you have questions you can reach out to me. Overall great work making this.

Great game, such terrible ads.. This game is incredibly unique and fun. I have a great time playing it. The only issue I have is the ads are so pestering and unnecessary. Games used to exist without ads that are so deterring and horrible such as these. Simple popups are plenty and can still make a company money. Ads used to exist without these. You don’t have to use the most annoying ads possible just to make as much as you possibly can. I often have a great time playing this game and then leave due to the constant and frequent ads that continually pop up. It would be better if the remove ads package was $0.99 like all used to be, but instead is 3$. Please reconsider the ad packages you have put onto this app. I promise you can make more with less pestering ads and a less expensive remove ads package. I rate 4 stars only because the game itself is fantastic.

Game is incomplete. What’s the point in winning millions of dollars when everything costs less than $600k? Why is the American Open 100x more difficult than any other course? I went from a -22 in the Maestros on my first attempt to +10 at AO after many restarts. I don’t understand why there’s such a massive difficulty gap if there’s no club upgrades to somehow combat it. It’s legitimately impossible to birdie or even par some holes on there yet the simulated competition wins with a -8 so I can’t help but think RNG plays a role too with how good the competition is on top of the wind conditions. AO should be changed or at the very least the computer shouldn’t be able to finish with such an insane score. If you can’t get to the green on even one par 5 in 2 shots then how are you supposed to get under par at all? Every par 4 plays like a par 5 as it is. Are you only able to win if you somehow hole out every approach shot? Also if you have to choose between hitting the trees or letting the wind carry you off the fairway then you truly have no chance. I say the game is incomplete because this seems more like a first draft because of how unplayable the AO is. It also seems weird to have it in the same category as the others because it’s so wildly different in difficulty. If that’s the only course where you really need a whole new set of clubs created for just it then surely you’ve done something wrong on design.

Great game, BUT!. I have to say, this is as close to enjoyment perfection as anything I’ve played on APP store, but there are a few niggling factors I think need to be addressed. 1. TREES! OMG, it’s basically game over if you land in them. Sure you can take a drop but the selection choice is a joke unless you wanna get sent all the way back to the tee. If you end up in the middle of the woods, sure I get it. But too many times have I been on the very edge and can’t get away out. Absolute train wreck of a mechanic. Please fix! 2. PUTTING! Urghhhhh.. While fairly basic, it can the most frustrating part to the game.. you’re standing right over a whole and the ball goes right over the middle at an average pace.. what happens? Yep, ball goes sailing over. Insane. Please fix! 3. WIND! Right if we’re playing a round, the wind really shouldn’t be that varied. Sure a few points here and there. But I got from one hole having 9.0 to the next having 3.2. Sure I get wind direction can be a factor, but not speed. Anyway.. great game. I even paid to remove adds just please fix these issues.

Needs Update. Now that I’ve won a few tournaments, I’ve amassed quite a fortune. I’ve already bought all the upgrades on the equipment. It would be nice if more items appeared for purchasing. Also, the trees are a problem: it’s impossible to know if you have a shot or not, so if you don’t take a drop it’s a complete gamble. If you decide to hit from the woods and it doesn’t come out cleanly, it should still get through the trees enough so that you’re not in exactly the same place. A few tweaks like that and the game will be awesome. Last thing: when I play matches against friends, some money should be added and deleted from each other’s accounts. So if my son beats me, he gets some of my money or vice versa.

Great game, some major bugs.. There appears to be a bug in the game where it won’t register your tap when you swinging. Swinging requires perfect timing, and when the game doesn’t pick up your tap it will ruin your whole round. Which if you’re doing a 9 or 18 hole course, is a lot of time. I can honestly say this is a problem with the game because my phone has not once missed a tap the entire time I’ve been typing this review, even when I try to tap it as light as possible it still picks it up. Super frustrating bug. Update: I came back to change my 2 star review to one stars after encountering get another game breaking bug, was 6 holes into a 9 hole course and had an amazing 3 under par. Then on hole 6 my ball rolls right over the hole, try again and it roles right over, again and again until I had to manually end the hole, ruining my score, but still only 1 over so maybe I’ll come back? Same thing happened on the next hole. This game is already challenging enough without having to worry about bugs ruining your runs.

Terrific replayability. Can’t remember tracking another game’s update schedule like I have this one. Kept hitting their Twitter feed and finally the new courses are here and amazing. I still enjoy playing all the old courses over and over, even the beginner ones...270 mil in the bank, 25 under at the maestros, 24 over on the new Open..really appreciate the strategic course design that punishes you for just blasting away. Daily player, hope you guys keep coming out with new courses. It’s my go-to throne game. I don’t know what kind of physics are involved but if you added rocks or cart paths to randomize the bounces that would be cool too. Enjoy the ski jump game also...deceptively fun. Keep up the good work!

Awesome game, great physics. Really really love this game, the physics are perfect too. Note to the developers- Please add more, more club/equipment choice and the ability to make customizations to them, different balls, grips shafts club heads etc. only took me about 4 hours to buy all the equipment in game and now winning money seems kinda pointless. Fun to play still but it just needs more, that’s why I rated 4 stars. Would be nice to see distances when playing too. And add some tournaments against other real players or something. This game would be a daily play for me but as of now there isn’t much more to keep me going. Spectacular game though I really hope it keeps being developed. I’ve told everyone I know about it and they love it too.

Game has its Challenges. It’s for people who can’t play any of the real golf apps . Quirky and lame. By trying to make it difficult, it doesn’t make sense. There are games in the App Store just like this games . Developers don’t know how to design a fun game that’s fair . You can score a birdie on the first hole and you are now -1 under on the 1st hole. Then their are other players that at are -2 under on the same hole . Ridiculous ! Your not even leading the tournament and you are behind someone who is -2 under on the 1st hole . The putting is horrible. You can miss putts for no reason. Over hit them and miss them at less then a foot . Again the game is ridiculous. It’s just aggravating if you feed into this nonsense . The games is not fun . It was designed by a satis just to make it difficult . Poor design attempt .

I love this Pixel game!. I usually can get away with playing some games on my phone while I’m not doing anything. This is the best one that I have been playing lately, and one of the better golf and or pixel 8-bit type games I’ve downloaded. The reason for the 4 stars though, is that once you win a ton of matches and you get rich from them, you can’t do much. You get the most upgraded stuff then you go back and try to get the hole in ones, but I wish there was more customization. If there were different things to put that money towards, there would be more incentive to play. However, even with the small upgrade shop, this game has been non stop fun. It’s always so funny when I just get so close with that putter! Darn hills! Love it.

Great golf game but craving for more!. As soon as you put some time into it and start to understand the COURSE DESCRIPTION is VERY IMPORTANT to your approach. You will start to score some holes. The ambiance of this game perfect for a relaxed session before sleep or breaks. You can just pick up where left off. My only complaint is that it was too short. Once I hit my groove and worked myself to #1, the game ended. Multi-player is an option and maybe seasonal courses to place some variety in the game. This game could be big if done right. If Among Us can make it so can this one. Just don’t go the golf clash route where there is too many clubs and balls. This more simple yet complex in its own way.

Very fun game, but it needs more. Worthy of a download and keeping on your phone. I have really enjoyed playing this game. I usually hate having games on my phone because they get boring or the amount of ads are crazy. However, the simplicity of the game which keeps it casual combined with engaging you just enough to think of what you are doing is perfect. My only complaint is that it seems like the beginning is where all of the aspects of wanting to keep playing or grinding a game are. What is the point of making the big bucks if you already were able to buy everything in the game early on? I thought their would be another tier of clubs or maybe character customization afterwards. If more in game customizing or clubs were added to spend the money on, it would be a 5 star game.

Great game, not enough content. I just downloaded this game yesterday and I’ve been having a lot of fun playing. The concept is easy and it’s not too challenging to get good at the game fast. The problem with this game is that once you win a few tournaments, you already have enough money to purchase all the nicest clubs in the game. In one day I’ve already become the number 1 golfer in the world and have 10’s of millions of dollars just saved up with nothing to spend it on. Overall the game is fun and is a great time waster. The courses offer a bit of diversity which is nice. If I had to give just one tip for gameplay: DO NOT GO IN THE TREES. One bad shot into the trees can ruin your whole round. Don’t choose to play out of the trees. You will not make it out. Trust me.

Love it, a few suggestions to make it perfection.. This game is INSANEY fun. The customization, multiplayer, and extra courses are amazing. A few things I would humbly ask to be added though, just to make it dreamy. A driving range with customizable wind would be amazing, the wind is sometimes hard to gauge how much it will affect each shot. Also a Morning to afternoon cycle with the sun would be awesome, and maybe even some rain to make it cozy feeling? Long shot, but golf carts driving up to your ball would be so funny. And just a few more categories of clothing would be amazing, such as jackets, or long sleeves, or sweatpants. Lastly, a customizable cozy house/room for your little golfer would tie together the cozy vibe. These are just my dream additions ! I absolutely am in love with this game, 11/10 rating. Thank you developers, you are amazing.

Love this game. I’ve only just started playing, but I really like this one. I’m guessing many comments about mechanics and gameplay are from people who never had an 8 bit Nintendo. This is really close to what the basic golf game was on that system. Pros: Has ads but for me they’re only a few seconds. Not the 30 second ones most games have. If you wanna get rid of them, it’s a buck which if reasonable. You actually unlock the entire game if you want to for 3 bucks. Reasonable for what the game is. I also love that after each shot, there’s no replays, close ups slo mos etc. they just get you right to the next shot. It’s a great way to kill a few minutes without having to commit to 20-30 mins to complete a course. I like fast game play. To the players griping about mechanics...this isn’t tiger woods golf on the the Xbox. I had the issue of putts going over the hole but figured out quickly I was hitting the ball too hard. Really wasn’t that tough. Cons: The X to close ads is super small most times. Not sure if this is the game or ad developers but it’s slightly irritating when I go to tap the x to close and I send up clicking on the ad. Overall, great game. Glad I found it.

Nostalgic Mario golf vibes. A calm pixelated golf game that reminds me of playing the first Gameboy Mario golf. The variety of courses and progression is surprisingly deep. The controls are easy to use and the swing skill check is satisfying. My only complaint is that the 2D top down perspective can make close putts frustrating when your character is blocking your view of the hole. It’s also a little difficult to judge if a tree is in the way of your shot. There are some times when you might feel like throwing your phone, but that’s how golf can be some times. All in all this game’s a polished little gem that stands out in the sea of bland 3D golf games.

Has potential but big flaws. It’s a fun game and the premise is nice, but unfortunately it’s very frustrating to play when the in game mechanics just don’t make sense or work. For instance, when putting a ball slowly directly over the hole, it just goes past the hole and doesn’t go in. Sometimes it will, but many times it won’t. The other issue is the aiming/projection of where your ball will land. You obviously have to adjust for the wind speed and direction, but many times the correlation between these makes no sense. The wind is blowing against your swing, so swing harder correct? Well even with minor correction, the ball goes too far and goes into the water. It’s confusing and difficult to understand how the game works and there is no instruction on the more advanced mechanics.

Meh Retro Golf Game. First off, don't pay money to unlock anything other than maybe disabling ads. Courses and clubs unlock quickly. Overall the game is fun and simple initially, but this simplicity causes it to suffer as courses get harder. Trees are basically a lateral hazard as they are impenetrable to the point the game offers you to take a drop anytime you contact them. The isometric view and lack of a flight path preview can make it tough to see if you are going clip one and have to take a drop. Sometimes the game even starts your shot aimed directly at them. It is lazy design and makes the harder courses more annoying than fun. The final course (The US Open) is the worst offender. With no way to control ball flight, fade/draw, or add backspin, the course is just dumb. It is incredibly disappointing finish and an example of horrible design. Don't waste your time with it. One last note, the Masters course says it has punishing rough...one of Augusta National's famous features is the lack of rough. Just an annoyance as a golf fan.

Legendary. I've been playing this game consistently for the past month. I've almost won every tour, and after playing every course I have to say this game is incredible! It's simplicity doesn't hold the game back, and keeps gameplay from being too complicated. The courses are beautifully designed, and the early ones warm you up for the big 18 hole games. Towards the end when you get to the US Tour and Euro Tour each course feels like a big deal and it makes gameplay really exciting! Its a genuine golf game with relaxing and simple graphics. My one complaint is that the clicking is too loud when switching clubs compared to the nature sounds in the background. I usually can't keep my volume above 30% when playing through the phone speakers or it irritates my ears. Other than that, I Highly recommend!!!!( ◠‿◠ ) ⛳️🏌️

Lots of potential, but many issues. This game has a lot going for it - tons of courses, good retro visuals, etc. Unfortunately, a few aspects of the gameplay have a tendency to ruin a good round, which ultimately makes it tough to keep playing. First, it’s way too easy to “miss” the swing button at the top of the swing, which means you’re about to blast your ball well past the green. I don’t know if there’s a glitch with the button, or if it’s just too small, but this happens regularly, even after playing many rounds. Also, the strength of a putt seems to be only loosely related to the guide shown on the screen. Even when putting from off the green, putts often sail over the hole when the “correct” strength is chosen. Combined with some pretty tough greens, this makes putting overly challenging. Finally, there are many holes where the fairway is narrow and lined with trees on both sides, and it’s effectively impossible to stay out of the trees if the wind is blowing from the sides - which it is more than half the time. This is a particular struggle on the final course, but the trees are also tough to avoid elsewhere. Good game, but would be much better with a few tweaks.

Room for Improvement. This is a great concept. I like the simplicity and gameplay, however, there are some adjustments needed. The number of advertisements for unpaid accounts is excessive. In a 9-hole round, four 30-45 second ads is too much. I get it, but 1-2 ads would be more reasonable. Also, the course design doesn’t match well with only having three levels of clubs. In some instances, the elite clubs can’t even come close to reaching a par 4 in two shots. Also, the view angle limits the ability to see trees that may be in your way. I think the ability to rotate the view would be a huge upgrade. Trees should also be slightly more forgiving. I was excited to play in tournaments, but quickly realized that some users had already hacked the game and were scoring 17-under par in 9 holes, so why bother even playing in them? I couldn’t reach the first par 4 in two with elite clubs and you would need to eagle every hole to match that score, so it’s definitely not feasible to get -17.

I can’t give a 4.5, so a 5 will have to do. My idea of a great phone game is one that 1.) isn’t pay to play, 2.) Is challenging without being impossible, 3.) doesn’t have ads every 30 seconds. This game fulfills the first two perfectly, and I’ll give it half credit for the third point. You only get an ad every 2-3 holes and they’re either instant skips or ones you can skip after 5 secs. This is honestly a great game and I enjoyed trying to get all the achievements. The only negative thing about it is that I’ve completed it and have nothing left to do but try to beat my course records. Developers, if there can be courses added to this, or another tier of clubs, it would be so greatly appreciated!

Excellent, simplified but rich. I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before certainly not for a game. This game is absolutely excellent. Very satisfying. Familiar mechanics compared to other golf games I’ve played but with a cute and unique design. Just the right spot between challenging and relaxing. No bugs or serious lapses in design, seems thoroughly planned out (well, it can be hard to gauge tree height sometimes, but you get used to it ftmp). Not some petty cash grab or cheap app. Goes on and on with more content and gets enjoyably more challenging. I’ll be purchasing the expansion packs but want to unlock all the initial content “the hard way” first. If you don’t like any particularly obnoxious ads you can close the app and it saves where you are in whatever tour you’re on. Awesome, great job. Hope you keep making new content or a sequel some day. So I’ll absolutely be buying the expansions to support you guys and check out your other apps. Thanks for a good quality product.

Extremely fun!. I love golf all my life and this game is the best game I ever played. I made a birdie when I was thirteen and ever since then I loved the sport. This game Pixel Pro Golf is the best I seen in a long long time, I played PGA Tiger Woods Masters for Xbox 360 played a lot of many types of golf games out there, so believe me when I say Pixel Pro Golf is extremely fun! You guess at the yards, you buy equipment with the money you win after beating the course and your ranked with other golfers around the world. Sure you can buy all clubs with real money and pay 0.99 cents to remove ads so that’s at choice you make, me I just removed the ads and going to win the clubs by playing the game. I love pixel games and Pixel Pro Golf is my favorite. Thanks for making this amazing game!

One of the very best. This really is one of the best games. I’m an avid phone gamer and download a handful a week, usually only to delete a day later due to ad frustrations or monotony. This game is so different. There are adds, but they’re pretty minimal and allow skips after a few seconds. I actually found it worth paying the $1 to go ad-free which I think I’ve only ever done with one other game. The gameplay itself is super fun. It’s easy to figure out but hard to get really good. Keeping high scores per hole and a leaderboard allows replay-ability too. I appreciate how many courses they have an hope they keep em coming! Ideas - more equipment/customization (balls, clubs, apparel, look), mini golf course(s) with the fun crazy green breaks, ability to play and pass for heads up, or best yet online multiplayer. Something more to spend your character money on.

Great game, but —. My one gripe about this game is that once you unlock all the clubs (which is achievable pretty early on) there’s literally no incentive to play anymore. You just keep earning money that you can’t spend, which ultimately obliterated my interest in continuing to play. The creators took no creative liberty. There’s no interesting clubs or power ups, no coarse themes or ball colors to buy, and no character editing. I’m not saying this has to even be anything more than just plain golf, but good lord, give us more options to buy more things with the currency we earn. I’m the richest man in the world in this game! Other than that, this game is great. It had me clinching my fist in frustration at first, and I loved the challenge of learning all the mechanics and their quirks. Once I got the hang of it, the game remained challenging and I was hooked. Great style, cool music, challenging courses, and simple and effective controls.

Dissapointed. The game is great. Yeah, there could be improvements, but the most disappointing things for me are 1) Lack of updates. And I’m not talking about the generic “bug fixes” but updates to the gameplay. And 2) The dev never redesigned the final tourney despite 98% of the reviewers saying it is all but impossible. And it’s not about winning it, rather not shooting +18 or much higher. For instance, if you breezed thru all the tournaments and finished first, the American Open will humble you. Then frustrate you. After trying to shoot par 300 times, I put it down and will not play it until it is updated or I will delete. I like that it is hard, and if I was making any progress I would gladly keep trying but this is unfair.

Ace. I really enjoyed this game. I don’t know how intrusive the ads are since I immediately loved the game and paid for it. It’s deceptively more difficult than it seems at first, and some of the later courses feature some ridiculous fairways and greens. My one big complaint is the lack of things to buy with your earnings. It doesn’t take long at all to buy all of the upgrades clubs, and then you quickly rack up millions of dollars with nothing to spend it on. In fact, one win in one of the final tournaments is easily enough to buy everyone available. Other than that nitpick, the game is pretty great, even if you don’t normally enjoy golf games. The simple controls and easy to understand UI make it really approachable. Great job devs, here’s hoping to more stuff to spend our fortunes on.

Great, but 1 suggestion. Let me just start off by saying that this game is AWESOME. It gets kinda hard when you get to the majors but that’s to be expected. One thing I like about this game is that in the majors, you can actually play real life courses, even though they may not be exactly the same. I do have a suggestion though: Add a course creator! I think it would be SO COOL if I could create and publish my own courses that I made. You could also make a community tab so you could play other people’s courses and rate them maybe. Developers, please add something like this! The lack of a course creator is the only thing I don’t like about this game, and this is one of my favorite games. Thanks and Happy New Year!

Could use some improvement. Overall very fun. But there’s a few issues that make it frustrating. 1. Why is it that I hit the top of a tree in the middle of the fairway? 2. The swing button is too small. I often miss it. The second and third swing presses should be able to happen anywhere on the screen. 3. You should be able to hit it out of the trees. They have a take a drop mechanism to overcome this but it costs you a stroke where you should just be able to punch it out. 4. By the time you made it to the US tour, you bought all the best gear, so what’s the point of playing more and winning tournaments? There should be something I can use my millions for.

Please fix last course. This game is extremely fun, very easy to play when you are bored at work. Played this game for about a month and finally became number 1. So then I decided that I was gonna try to get first place on each course. Hard fought but I got it… EXCEPT for the last course. I have tried and tried and tried but it’s nearly impossible. With winds that vary from 7-10 mph and greens and fairways that are in thick trees and horrible slopes, it is impossible to come in first on the last course. Finally had to delete the game after (no exaggeration) about 150 attempts on the final course. It’s difficult to even get a par on most of the holes. Devs please do something about the last course. Eliminate some trees and get rid of some of the slopes on the greens.

Great game, bad course design. This is an awesome golf game with an old school golf feel to it. I agree with others that it would be nice if it had more unlocks. The one big thing that irritates me is the new American Open course. That design is horrible. There are trees completely blocking the green on a par 3. There are holes where if you try to hit a longer club you end up hitting the trees in front of the tee box, but if you hit a shorter club over the trees you are too far away to make it to the green. I am all for making the course difficult, but it needs to be possible to actually score. Additionally, the drop function when you are in the trees could be greatly improved, because sometimes it doesn’t drop you in very good spots.

Almost Great. I have been waiting for a good old-fashioned mobile golf game for a long time. Pixel Pro is almost that game, but frustratingly misses the mark. The biggest problem with Pixel Pro is its aiming system. In later courses, you need to thread shots between very complex patterns of trees. However, the only visual guide before hitting the ball are a series of circles, flat on the ground, that indicate shot distance. There is no guide that indicates shot height or arc. This, along with the isomorphic 2D perspective, make it hard to judge whether a shot will safely clear an obstacle, which makes the game frustrating. The control system also lacks standard features of other golf sims, like ball spin, loft control, and a special putt meter. I was very excited to play this game, and willing to overlook these feature oversights, until the issue with loft visualization made the game frustrating to play.

I’m not a mobile gamer, let alone a golfer.... To restate the title of my review, let that sink in for a moment... I find most games on an iPhone to be petty, heavily micro-transactional, and aimed for dweebs, to be blunt. Trust me, my New Balance 409s aren’t too tight when I say that I totally dig this game. I can’t stress enough how lackluster golf is to me, and yet here I am, fist pumping after an Eagle on a Par 5. After much effort, I finally unlocked The Majors on the Scottish Classic course.... it’s gusty and slopes galore on not only the fairway, but the greens are a nightmare at first glance. Put some English on it, if you want a tip. I usually play much worse on a first-visit tournament, but there I was at the end of it all, holding a -14 scorecard to win the son of a gun. I’ve got the screenshot to prove it. I have never been so dialed in on a mobile game in my life, other than RuneScape, so redact what I said about dweebs... I might be a dweeb, making such a bold claim. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this game to anyone curious about it. My only request, is that the developers could somehow incorporate a private online party mode, maybe requiring a passcode to get in, so I could match against my friends and what have you. Just a thought, but nonetheless, killer game... BRAVO!

Very good game, with just one issue.. I love this game! Very fun gameplay and colorful graphics. Has a lot of courses with varying difficulties but all doable so far for me. I really like the three tap swing mechanic and the ability to upgrade your clubs too. My main issue is that the achievements aren’t working properly. I’m playing on an iPad 5th generation with iPadOS 14.1 and I have earned 5 or 6 achievements but only two of them are sticking to the Game Center screen interface. The others get awarded and re-awarded but don’t stay with my account. If you could fix that please devs then the game would be 100%. Thanks for the great game and keep up the good work. :)

Good game but disappointing update. First, will say the base game here is great. I have owned this game for a long time and was happy to pay the couple of dollars to unlock everything. I’d love to give this game a full five stars but the recent updates are really disappointing and knock the score down for me. Let’s start with the tournaments. A handicap tournament is great in principle because the same people seem to win the open ones. But the way handicaps are calculated is terrible. Instead of being based on past tournament experience, it instead goes off of single player experience. So if you’re someone who has played this game for years to win every tourney in single player, you potentially have a whopping 18 stroke disadvantage on someone playing with a new account. Obviously some will abuse this by just opening new accounts. The open championships are more fair as it stands. Next are the VIP courses being tied to tee tokens. Have zero issues with the developers capitalizing on their game but I hate, hate, hate micro-transactions. Charge me another $5, $10 whatever but charge me per play attempt and I completely lose interest. IMO the handicap tournaments needs to be based off past tournament results and the new courses should be priced for unlimited play. Developer can do whatever they want but as-is, my interest is near gone.

I want to love this. There's just too many issues now, though. I did purchase the game to get rid of the very intrusive ads. Had great ratings and it has a lot of promise. Took almost no time to advance to the Majors and achieve world number 1. Pretty much mastered the thing in a few hours. Not much else to do after upgrading the clubs. All courses are okay until the last. It's so impossible that it's not even close to enjoyable. If you can finish the front 9 NOT in 62nd place, you may as well be declared the winner. Aside from that, the little dots used to position the shot can be nearly invisible at times. Takes a LONG time to find them if they get lost. Needs a line pointing in the shot direction. Needs a zoom feature. And needs to fix the bug with achievements where you reach the goal but don't get the award. Close to good. But needs much more polish.

30% fun, 70% infuriating. Controls are easy enough to jump right in and play a round. However, the gameplay is absolutely infuriating. There is no way to know if your ball is going to hit a tree until after the fact. I don’t know why the devs did not incorporate anything into the gameplay to at least alert the player that their LOS isn’t clear of trees. Maybe dim the LOS markers? I can’t tell you how many rounds have been completely torpedoed by this issue. Another thing is putting. Even with the perfect line and pace, sometimes the ball will simply roll OVER the hole and not drop. Players are already annoyed at this point… but then if you catch some undulations on the green, you have to sit there for upwards of 30 seconds waiting for the ball to come to a complete stop before you can continue playing. Lastly, and probably the worst of all, is that the swing meter glitches constantly. So before you even swing the club, you know the ball is gonna be lost. Because of these issues, I can’t give this game more than 2 stars.

Really fun!. Relaxing gameplay, yet still has that competitive feel. Chill music. Nice physics. Cool upgrades and courses to unlock. AND the putting is perfectly fine. Not sure what that other review was all about? You just gotta tap quick when you’re really close up! Tip for beginners as well- the little arrows on courses indicate slopes! They can be used to your advantage at times but can also get you into some trouble! All in all, this is a great game with a nostalgic feel and I would love to see more like it! It has a beautifully done pixel art style. Def gonna support these sorts of hidden gems. Would love to see a game like this but like... pixel pro kickball. I’d say baseball but that’s overdone so let’s be honest...pixel pro kickball.😎 we just need more games like this. Simple and effective. Awesome little golf game here, devs. Great job!

Fun game but flawed. The game is extremely addicting even though it’s so simplistic. It has a few extremely annoying flaws however that make the difficult courses almost unwinnable. There is no marker to let you know a tree is directly in your line and you have no way of knowing if the club will clear the trees or not. The 2D layout only complicates it. Also, there should be an extremely difficult set of clubs to attain, as I’ve replayed the courses repeatedly and it would help so much if there was one more level up. I feel like the greens should also be slightly different colors to let you know the speed of each. Really fun game, just my two cents.

I had this game when it first game out…. So this is my second review and I had this game when it first came out then deleted it because I beat the game basically but getting all the clubs and winning all the courses. All I have to say now is WOW this game has came a long way and I absolutely love it! There is so much to do now, you can play offline tournaments, you can play online tournaments, there’s multiple things you can spend money on and you have many customizable choices for your player and not only all that but you can play your friend through iMessages❤️ this game is so amazing and I absolutely love it, there’s so much to do and I will definitely be playing this game for awhile!

Great! 4.5/5. I’d love to give this 5 stars but there are some silly visuals bugs in this game that should eventually be fixed. Sometimes your golfer covers the hole when putting and oh boiiii don’t get me started on the visual bugs with the trees. The distance line should stop or go away if you might hit a tree. I’ve noticed the drop option doesn’t always pop up if you hit in the trees. This is a hard one to grasp, cause you’re kinda forced to drop for a penalty because you physically can’t hit it out of the tress which isn’t at all like real golf. #Stinger If you’re a golf fan you’ll definitely enjoy this game. Its silly and fun and honestly hard to take seriously. Its got a few off quirks such as particular clubs like the 2-iron and 5-wood that go the same distance. If you upgrade clubs its pretty awesome, but it overall messes your club selection. Again the occasional visual bug and of course the trees. Definitely exciting to see where this game goes!

Simply brilliant. This reminds me of NES Open Golf from way back when - 8bit graphics and near identical gameplay. Which means it’s very good. Simple but good and ideal for iPhone. This is the best game I’ve downloaded in ages and the first review I’ve ever felt compelled to make in the App Store. Lovely work!

Why constant updates?. Great game but why is there always seem to be a new update every second or so day?? That’s the reason I gave it 3 stars instead of the 5 which the game actually deserves.

Good game. The game is surprisingly fun and I actually really enjoy playing it. But there is one thing that is getting ridiculously annoying and that is how small the swing button is. The amount of times my fat thumb misses the button and so the swing maxes out and the little guy hits the ball way too hard is getting beyond annoying. I can’t focus on timing the swing right and actually hitting the button at the same time. Entire games hinge on me not missing the swing button. Could you please make the swing button a little bigger? Add an option to make it a little bigger or something. Besides that the game is really great.

Need To Fix It. Every time I tee off on a new hole my second shot always forces me to putt the ball instead of being allowed to play a normal iron shot

Far too many ads. Fun game but takes you out of it by making you sit through 20-30second ads every 2nd hole.

Needs attention. Great game but feels not thought out/finished in certain sections. Things like dripping feel off, for instance if you hit a ball into a bad area and need to drop a new ball you have no option to hit a driver off the tee and some holes become completely unplanned because of this especially on island holes. Shame you can’t use all your clubs from anywhere as well which you can technically do in real life. Great game just a shame none of the major issues have been fixed at all. Also seems like there’s no point in any of the prize money once you get the best clubs. Just doesn’t seem to make sense. Hopefully there will be an update but at this stage it doesn't seem like it

Not Bad.. Not a bad game, bit of fun and a good time waster. A shame though that the developers must have lost interest or ran out of time on the last course, barely a hope of getting a decent score or a win on it. One bad course doesn’t ruin the game, but it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of the overall package. An edit to this review: The frustration level of the last course has changed my mind about this game, I gave it 4 stars to start with, but now I’d say it’s on par with just 2, and that’s being generous.

Fantastic!. It’s been a long time since a simple challenging golf game without all the BS has been developed. Heaps of diverse courses and comps, great pixel artwork and the ball mechanics are surprisingly good - the slopes are indicated by little chevrons and can be very responsive. Plenty of trees and water to negotiate that really make you plan your shots! The game is free so there are a couple of adds here and there, but not annoying at all, (you can always pay $1 to remove). Overall a great challenging little game with heaps of gameplay.... If your into golf and gaming, download immediately!!! Great fun! Thank you Devs

Great game but lousy game centre integration. Lovely golf game, putting took a while to get the hang of, but can’t fault the game. Can fault the achievements in Game Centre though. I basically finisher the game. Won everything. Am world no 1. Still have nine outstanding achievements with no way to get them 🤔

Why is it so broken?. The game was awesome and exciting when I first got it…then I learned how broken it was. The swing button works about 85% of the time…so just when your not expecting it you shoot a shot 30m over the back of the green The ball will turn on the green even though it’s not on an arrow, don’t have the arrows there if they aren’t 100% accurate! I aim a putt ~1m to the left of an arrow to avoid the slope and it moves anyway…. You get 10 ads per round of golf….like cmon man I understand ads are required, but no need to be that ridiculous. The two glitches above have cost me so much time, so much I so had to give up the game because I couldn’t finish a a round without have some “monster bogey” from a glitch. The games been out for long enough that any glitch is just pure laziness from the developers and it’s clear that they don’t give a rats about the game. :(

Great game, issues with Game Centre achievements. Love this game, great fun and easy to just pick up for 5 mins or 30 mins. Simple graphics and game mechanics, just good fun. There is an issue with achievements...I have win every course, and am ranked 1 in the world, but I cannot get the relevant achievements....a bug perhaps? Still, a minor issue in a great, fun game

Great Game, one suggestion. A practice mode would be really nice where you could pick a course and hole to practice on repeat. For example if I wanted to practice the 16th hole on a course I can select that one instead of playing every hole before it just to get one chance at it.

Fantastic until American Open. Love this game. And I’m excellent at it. -25 on any course. But the American Open is ludicrously hard. I figured it was impossible, but I kept at it, enough so that I’m debating my life choices spending this much time trying to win it. Best I’ve done is 2nd at -9 under. Lost by 2. But only because I hit the trees and it didn’t give me the usual drop option. Also, the scoring must be random for CPU because it’s scoring aces in impossible wind conditions and eagles on holes impossible to reach in 2. You have to play perfectly AND hope the random scoring doesn’t go too low. That just makes this last course unfair and a real negative mark on an otherwise beautiful game.

Pretty bad game design and no settings to change. Please fix the swing button this is ridiculous. Why is it so small and not just tap anywhere on the screen. It’s not a cool feature it’s straight up stupid game design. Sub par game and the ads are horrendous.

Swing button fatal flaw. Edit: they fixed the swing button . Added 4th star as appropriate. Original: I dunno guys… basically every round is ruined by one or two shots where the game doesn’t register my press for either for power, or accuracy, causing either 100 percent power (instead of just moving back down the scale backwards… why?) or a wildly off-centre shot, which is understandable But why is this happening? I’m not missing the button. Please add an option where after pressing the “swing” button, the next two taps -anywhere on the screen- should count as the next two button presses. It’s infuriating and has driven me to write this review, as a preface to deleting the app and regretting the purchase. Hope you make these changes, cause otherwise seems like it’d be fun.

Really fun.. for a while. Cool simple game that reminded me of the old EA Golf game on PC in the 1980s.. but mostly on the easy side, very easy to become #1 in the world and make unlimited money. Only a big problem with irons which completely ruin the experience on courses with a lot of trees. All iron shots go super high so if your ball is stuck under a tree, there is absolutely no way to get it out unless you waste maybe 5 shots. Long irons (2- or 3-iron) should generate much lower shots, or maybe add ability to do a punch shot with a 7-iron. Otherwise it is really fun, the Scottish course is a beauty.

Good game , but need improvement. The game is nice , awesome pixel graphics , nice golf holes and a lot of character customization. Also , I really like that they put a tournament mode for everyone , it makes the game interesting and challenging. The problem is that they give you adds after 2-3 holes (I suggest turning off your wifi) , and you cannot create an account (you can log in gamecenter but cannot play on 2 devices wich is really deceiving). So in conclusion , its a must play , and it is really enjoyable with friends and family. I really suggest buying the premium courses (they are really fun to play).

Issue with tournaments. I would give this game a solid five star maybe even 6… However, when I try to play a tournament I get this error “(Error 118 The operation couldn’t be completed (GKInternalErrorDomain error 101))”. I tried to reach out to the developer via there social media account but got no response I’ve also tried deleting and redownloading with no luck. If someone from the developer could help me fix this I would gladly change my rating to a 5… please help!

Ads. Playing this game for a while and for a game that has had no new content in a LONG TIME you get bombarded with ads. Every second hole you are forced to watch a 30 second ad. It’s ridiculous. I could understand if the game was actually updated and new clubs or courses were added but once you get all 9 clubs that’s it. And once you finish the 3 tours that’s it. You just can replay.

Room for improvement. Putting is absolutely brutal at times and needs tweaking as well as not knowing if you’re going to hit a tree or not maybe do something like in console golf games where you can see your actual simulated shot line so it’s fun to play and not frustrating

5 wood. Every time the game suggests to use the 5 wood, it never works. It always hits into the trees even though the game says it will work.

Good but…. First off, I like that fact that this game offers a golf fix with very minimal data to download. Unfortunately though, there are more ads then the Super Bowl. I enjoyed this game up until I unlocked the Euro Tour. I was making my way through a gruelling 18 holes and a couple of time my ball rolled right over the hole like it was iced over or something, costing me a chance at birdie or even to save par. Work on the mechanics (if that’s the right term,.. maybe physics?) of the game so that the ball is not so impossible to putt in on the higher courses and this would be a 5 star game.

Simple and Fun. Lots of fun to play. No major complaints. A few minor quality of life suggestions, add a Hole Map so the player can see the map of their current hole so they can better aim, rather than scrolling around trying to find their spot. Second, ability to select options / menu sooner, such as Drop / Play from Lie. Gotta wait a few seconds before you can make a selection. Minor things, game is super fun.

Best golf game!!!. This is the best golf game I’ve played on iOS. It’s very realistic and has lots of courses to play and go through on your way to be the best in the world. Only downside is that there’s not a lot of people that play multiplayer. Other than that it’s the best golf game I’ve played! 10/10 highly recommend.

SNES golf flashbacks!. Fantastic game. A joy to slowly rank up and play various courses. The majors are worth the journey; kudos to whoever designed the maestros course…you did Augusta national justice! I truly hope you design another golf game, this was a hidden gem. Well done

Pixel graphics.. but feels like real life. Would be great if we could start a course at whichever hole we choose and play the round from there. Find myself restarting course quite a bit and then playing top 9 holes a LOT more than the latter holes. Not even kidding when I say I prefer playing to pga on PlayStation! Awesome game

Putting. The putting Is so bad in the game. I know putting is hard but it rolls right over the hole constantly.

Swing button glitch. I love this game and I’ve had a lot of fun playing it, but there’s one minor problem that can sometimes be a more major problem. I don’t know if it’s just me but sometimes I’ll hit the swing button and it just doesn’t register, soit just keeps adding power and I’m forced to go full power, which can be hole-ruining when putting. Other than that the games great though.

Fun game, too many ads. The actual gameplay is quite simple and enjoyable easy to sink time into if it wasn’t being interrupted and inundated with so many ads. I understand the developers need to make money and there is always the financial option to remove them. There has to be a better way than interrupting the game play every 90 seconds.

Love it … until American Open. Seriously, why is American Open so brutally hard? I passed the rest of the majors first try (maybe a little too easy) and can’t even break even on American Open. Sometimes the swing meter seems to glitch and change speed. Not sure if that’s wifi or the game, but one bad swing on this course and you’re screwed. Then I’ll forget that the wood it auto-selected for me off the tee will smash right into the trees on 13 and 14 … screwed. I wish i could practice some of these holes rather than have to try to improve while playing them 18 at a time. It’s seriously so hard I mostly end up quitting.

Love it. This game is like a modern day version of Golf NES. They killed it with this one.

Terrible. Doesn’t let you choose your own clubs randomly, forces you to use wedges when you’re like 3 feet away from the hole, just terrible.

Need more equipments. Being number one in the world at pixel pro golf feels good, but I need to do something with my money, please add some equipments and items for me!

Needs to be tweaked. Gameplay is great, but on my iPhone 8 it doesn’t fit everything on the screen properly. Needs to be tweaked so it will fit properly.

Doesn’t register button press. There’s a couple other of reviews with the same problem, you press the swing button and it doesn’t register second or third tap it absolutely ruins the game and is infuriating, fix your game

Not good. Terrible game so unrealistic the wind says 4 sometimes and is a hurricane and then when it says 7 the ball doesn’t even move the greens don’t make sense and the power bars are so inconsistent that it’s unplayable terrible Shotty game don’t buy it awful

Awesome. I’ve logged hours and hours playing this game. I have around 190million in earnings. I really love the game. New courses are very difficult but I find them a very nice challenge. 9 under is my best one the last course. I don’t have any issues with the game as is. But a wish list, I’d love to see head to head live play. Logistics of that I know are a big ask so I don’t see it happening but this game would be so so fun with a versus mode. Overall this is a great game reminding me of game boy golf back in the 90s, with improved physics and prettier gfx. Well done Pixamo designers.

Boring progression system. Gameplay is reasonably fun, but the difficulty ramps up way too fast. There is a huge gap in the money needed between the mid-grade equipment and the best equipment. It seems like the only reasonable way to earn the better equipment is to compete in the same easier tournaments over and over again until you earn enough cash incrementally. It’s near impossible to do well in a tournament that provides the good prize money with mid-grade equipment, and once you earn the best equipment and win that prize money there’s nothing to buy.

Tee tokens are the dumbest thing ever. I love this game and play it everyday, it’s perfect for when I have a couple minutes of downtime and you can get really into it trying to beat your course bests. I was super excited when I saw they finally updated it and added new maps, until I saw the ridiculous micro transaction system to play them. I would gladly have paid a one time purchase to get the new courses, but instead you have to pay for tokens every time you want to play a course. It’s so stupid and shows that the devs don’t care about their players, only money Not to mention some of the newer holes are LITERALLY physically impossible if they were real. Like they have the hole on a 80 degree hill and it’s impossible to get the ball in

Game is Solid but needs more content. As someone who plays iPhone games to pass time on my day to day routine, I love this game because it’s simple but satisfying. BUT a big problem is the lack of things to do, you can easily be ranked number 1 in the world in a couple of hours of playing and there’s no point of having games where you win millions when you can even use it for anything. If they made new modes or added new things to purchase with your money I would easily say 5/5. Sadly I don’t imagine this will happen as most likely the game was made very quickly and developers won’t touch it again.

Best Arcade Sports Game. Downloaded this game in 2022 so this review is long overdue. This game is so much fun. It’s simple to play and with skill improvement comes a better knowledge of the nuance and tips for each course. The game developer actually interacts with their users via discord and that’s incredible to me. They listen to their customers and give the people what they want. I highly recommend paying for no ads and also paying for the extra courses. Playing the tournaments and checking the server after is so much fun. Amazing community for a little golf app.

Pixel Golf. The game was fun at first, and occupied some down time. Paid the $2.99 to get rid of the ads, which is definitely worth it. Played the game often, then all of a sudden had problems with the power button not stopping at the power level you wanted to stop at, so it would over swing and that would ruin the round. It was intermittent at first, then got to be several times on the same hole. That ruins the challenge and fun of it. Deleted it to get a updated version, and lost everything and would have to pay for getting rid of ads again. No thanks! Never found a way to contact anyone on the game app. Had to come back to App Store to leave a reply.

Decently addicting but horrible angles!!!. Game can be ok at best…Huge problem is the layout. You can be far away from trees where you should easily hit over them…Nope. Some trees over are off to the side of the fairways but the angle of the view has them over a fairway. The realistic angle has you hitting way behind them and sometimes you hit the trees and sometimes you don’t. Just know wat of knowing for sure. Horrible consistency…same with putting sometimes the ball just rolls right over the hole like 3x on one hole ruining your round. Sometimes the little arrows move your ball and sometimes it doesn’t. Really takes away from the game. You will play for a short while and then see this happen and it takes away all the fun! Don’t waste your time!

Super fun game ..... but. This takes me back to my old NES golf games.. super fun and easy to catch on.. but there’s a couple of courses that are IMPOSSIBLY hard. So how can I shoot -24 on one course and +14 on the next?! I defy anyone to provide evidence of breaking par on The American Open course. Additionally the trees are impossible to judge. Many time you have no idea if your ball is even playable. Even when the trees appear to be BEHIND YOU! This game needs tweaked. For the most part the courses are too easy or way way way too hard. But I still enjoy it😏

Mostly great but a couple of big issues. I am enjoying this game and paid for the ad free version. A couple of issues make it a less than 5 star app. One, the putting is impossible to judge for distance and even when the ball rolls directly over the hole it often fails to drop and just rolls on by. Making a putt is more about luck than skill. Two, if you happen to land in the trees you can just forget about that hole. It is impossible to find a way out with the ball just striking the trees over and over. If you can fix those things, this would definitely rate 5 stars.

Awesome totally free retro-style golf game. Loving this game! For anybody that enjoys old golf games on the NES (think Bandai Pebble Beach), this is the one. Tho it’s obviously much improved over those old games, it has that feel. Very simple controls, the main challenges are adjusting for wind and avoiding trees. Hitting into trees is extremely penal, but you can purposefully miss late or early on the downswing to fade or draw it around trees. The courses get challenging which makes it fun, and there are a ton of courses! All free, just have to beat courses to unlock new ones. In fact, everything in this game is 100% free. I’ve been having a lot of fun with it, I’d recommend it to anybody.

Fun coffee break game!. Terrific throwback game with nostalgia the NES. Gameplay is casual, intuitive and well balanced. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, which I appreciate. Graphics are fun and pixelated but the gameplay is smooth. Putting takes some time to master but that’s part of it’s charm. I burnt through it in about 6 hours and wish there was more! I would definitely recommend it and paying them $1 to remove ads was the best decision to make the game flow better without an exorbitant price tag. I will keep a lookout for more games from these devs! Bravo.

Infuriating. The longer i play this game the more i see how poorly designed it is. The fact that so many holes are placed on slopes where it takes 7-8 times to make the putt is just remarkable. It really kills the want to play when you’re on a par 5 in 2 and 7 putt. The cups themselves should at the very least be on a flat surface so you have an opportunity to hole the putt and so you dont have to watched the ball take 5 minutes to roll all the back down the slope over and over and over and over again. I understand it needs to be difficult to stay interesting but not literally impossible to hole a putt, it really takes away from the fun.

Good game but needs tweaking. The indicators for how far your putt will go are way off. I often find my putts go an entire length farther than the power meter indicated. This is annoying because I’m using the best putter in the game. The trees, particularly on the Cedar Hills course, are way too unrealistic. They seem to have a hit box that is cubical in shape instead of the actual tree. Due to the 2D design of the game, it’s very difficult to perceive how tall the trees actually are. On some holes, I would drive the ball from the tee in the default direction, and I would hit a tree. I found this very annoying. Also, the “take a drop” function is terrible. If you hit it into the trees, it doesn’t allow you to actually move back on the course. Just moves you back, which is often still in the trees. Last but not least, it needs to be clearer why the upgraded clubs actually do. The drivers and other clubs should let you hit farther as you upgrade, and the putter should be more accurate. Fix these things and the game would be 5 stars for me.

Fun game but the American Open Course is straight up broken. Really enjoyable and challenging game. Was having lots of fun and even went back to get gold on each course but then… the American Open. It is so incredibly difficult and frustrating. I cannot grasp how anyone can win that open. Best I could do was +3 after so many attempts. Depending on the wind, there are some holes that are impossible to get a birdie on even with max upgrades… but the AI will still get -1 or even -2 on a par 4. Very frustrating and it’s really just this open that is massively flawed. Lots of reviews have called it out but it hasn’t been fixed 🙁

Ads make a round take about as long as real life. The greedy developers of this app have taken a fun game and ruined it by having an ad play after every hole. Some of the ads force you to click the X 4-5 times before it finally quits holding you hostage. Just what we wanted! It's essentially the virtual equivalent to playing a public course. Finish one hole and then wait on the next tee...and keep waiting...and keep waiting...and repeat until the sun's too low to keep playing. I just want to play a golf game. I don't open this app to have a product shoved down my throat every 2 minutes. I will be deleting until this changes.

Trees are not marked. The trees are my biggest complaint as well as certain courses involving them. Height should be clearly defined or at least warned of. 5W-driver are often obsolete teeing off of par 5s during these courses. Various 18 hole maps involve the most narrow fairways only to find out you’ve arrived on a sloped green you will most definitely be 3 putting. I paid for the ad free experience and it was a far better game. But since they make their money off ads from non payers, I believe upgrades should be more frequent. It’s a fun game if you pay for it, but to complete it 100% is impossible for me, as of this moment.

Buggy but fun. So first thing is this game is great to play, ads aren’t too bad, courses have their challenges. One thing to pay attention to is the swing meter glitches and I do believe it is on purpose. When it glitches it doesn’t register your tap to stop the top swing. I thought maybe this could have been just a random error but I’ve had it happen three times in a row, had it happen and cost me the win more than once. Now the thing is I know I’m not missing the button. I don’t know if the developers coded it on purpose or are aware of it but it needs be fixed.

Extremely fun!. I love this game! The controls are flawless, the game is beautiful and calming, and it’s an absolute blast to hit those long chip shots! Unfortunately, I was able to beat all of the courses in one long day at work. However, I already have found myself going back through all of the courses to beat my high scores! Definitely worth 99¢ for ad-free. The only thing I found a bit of a letdown is that after you have all the clubs, your money is just for show. I hope more courses get added, and I would love some cosmetics to spend my game-money on. Thanks for this awesome game, I don’t see myself quitting any time soon!

Finally. I must say this is the golf game mobile users finally needed. Pixamo, you’ve got a winner here. There is a most definite market for this game. Build upon it and watch it flourish. Love how simple the game is to pick up and play, yet the amount of features you have added are just enough without being over bearing. Physics seem to be spot on. Love the simplistic sounds as you play however the bird track can get old after awhile. Maybe cut out some of the chirps to just every now and then. Wishing you could zoom in to see those really close putt shots. Those are just minor things and doesn’t detract from the addictive gameplay

Incredible and Addictive. What a great little game. The physics make sense, the sound is relaxing, and getting top place on each course is a challenge. After finishing the game, I bought each piece of content even though I’d already unlocked it all by playing. My only complaint is that the hit boxes on the trees aren’t always clear. Sometimes you really want to thread the needle to cut a corner on the fairway, but your ball will unexpectedly hit a tree when you don’t think it should. If you want a challenging little time killer that ends up sucking hours out of your life, get this game.

This game has potential to be amazing.. This game has so much potential but it needs some updates in order to reach its ceiling. For example this game would get a lot more constant players if there were a multiplayer mode that involved an actual reliable opponent finding system. Also there could be more club customization that would make the game a lot more playable and not as repetitive. Finally in the future you could possibly look into adding a course building section to this game. I think this would be an extremely fine feature that this game could have and it would attract a lot more players.

Solid Game - Meh Environment. I loved this playing this game when I first got it and over the past 6 months. However, there’s a real issue with the environment. The trees have weird hit boxes that are almost like brick walls, and once you’re behind one, good luck getting past it. I’ve tried all the different clubs, and even a putter, no matter what you do there’s a 95% chance you will continue to hit the tree until you accept defeat and take a drop. This just ruins great runs on courses and led to me deleting the game. If they update it, I’ll consider redownloading, but for the time being, it’s not worth the frustration.

Pause. The game is fun besides it being mainly based on luck you could be doing really good and the A.I. might all of a sudden be better. The wind might be easy or might all of a sudden make the game impossible. But all the little nit picky stuff is nothing compared to the issue of not being some to pause the game… The game can be paused don't get me wrong but the ball has to come to a complete stop, which when you hit a bad ball on a 3 hole course and need to just restart it, it becomes infuriating to have to sit there and watch this pixel move as a snails pace until it comes to a complete stop. Why can’t I just pause while it’s rolling can we please fix this!

very annoying. First and foremost, I’ve had multiple putts go right to the pin and for some reason they just float over top of the hole and don’t go in. The wind effects have zero effect until the moment you don’t need them to. When you’re in the deep rough, you can’t choose a club higher than a 2 iron which can trap you into maxing out a hole on some courses, costing you a tournament like it did for me. No option to add backspin on wedge shots, so the “lightning fast greens” with slopes all around them are virtually impossible to stick. It’s a fun time killer but it’s very annoying and very frustrating when physics just don’t work.

Add more equipment. I love this game! Played all the way through and nearly all the courses. I would like if y’all added equipments and possible accessories like picking a certain golf bag or glove, shoes etc. you get through your golf equipment quickly in terms of getting the best. After that you just play the courses over and over again. I would like more variety in terms of personalization and equipment as well. Also I have 150 million dollars and don’t know what to do with. Anything extra to buy would be awesome too! Again, love the game!

Needs more but a great game. I’m currently the #1 ranked player in the world so I’ve played through all the courses quite a few times and I wish there were more to play as well as more equipment to purchase. I currently have racked up almost 100,000,000 dollars in the game and have nothing to spend it on. The developers should add cost to play such as green fees, gloves, more clubs, bags, etc. But I do love the game and it has been made well, it could just be better if they would add more.

Game does not sync to GameCenter. Downloaded for my iPhone. If you delete the game, you lose all your progress, so each device (phone, iPad, etc.) will have its own progress in the story. Ads will pop up about every 2 holes. I purchased Ad-Free only since you can unlock the other courses with progress. I downloaded the game again on my iPad, no carry-over progress AND the Ads are back. So you have to pay again to get rid of ads for each new device. Game is not bad though a good time killer, but it would be great if it syncs and saves your progress with your account instead of device. And not having to buy to get rid of Ads again.

Great game (except for the last level). I love this game, except the last course (American Open) is nearly impossible to win 1st place in the competition. I’m fine with the course being very difficult, but it’s very frustrating to go up against computer opponents that can somehow keep flawless scores on every single hole. Also, it is frustrating to have to wait for an animation to finish before being able to quit out of a course. If these 2 things were fixed, my rating would move to 5 stars

It’s great, but it has a large problem. So while I love this game there is a fatal flaw in it, when you readjust the aim and say land on a different island on paradise isles and land on it, the game thinks you have to land on the island you skipped so it only gives you say a 2 iron, and now you don’t have the reach to make the island with the hole because you don’t have a driver, because you don’t need it for the detour island, and if this is a feature please change it. If your good enough to take advantage of differing routes you should be able to use them in my opinion, but it’s your game (I will absolutely change this to 5 stars if you fix this bug/feature because that is the only problem I found in this great game)

Great Game Except…. Putting needs to be reworked. There is no easy way to just barely tap it in. I have sent so many balls that have been lined up perfectly right across the hole even though I put the lowest amount of force on the ball. Also, tell me if I’m going to hit a tree! I’ve ruined so many good runs by barely skimming the top of the tree because you would never be able to tell you’re going to hit it! Lastly, add a private online mode like “Golf With Friends” so I can get my friends to play too!

Great game (if some features are added). I optioned for the paid ad free. I really enjoy the game HOWEVER, a couple features would be amazing additions cuz I find myself getting really frustrated to the point I stop playing for a bit. - A fast forward button (on screen) that you can tap/hold to make the rolling and/or shot animate faster - difficulty setting, maybe an option to turn wind speeds down/off or toggle difficulty of wind speeds and slopes, less for easy, little more for medium and normal as it is now for hard. As well for difficulty setting maybe even option to turn the cuts of the hit off. (Land in the green bar anywhere and your shot is straight) - a restart button for a tournament or even a hole. At a certain point (for a casual gamer) I want to cut my losses and restart the tournament, right now I have to quit to the main menu then 3-4 clicks away from starting that tournament back up. I really feel like the game would be so much better with these add-ins.

Love the game but could use some stuff. I really like this game for the gameplay, and attention to detail, I do think it could use some things. I think it becomes to easy, I think wind should play a bigger role and when you take another shot that already aligned up for you I think the arrow where you want to shoot should be random as to cause the player to have to think about there shot. I also think you should be able to select which club you want to use as to have more inter active things when playing.

Game is amazing….but no updates. This game is so much fun. The final tournament is impossible for me though. My best is a +32 and I have won all the other ones! That being said I’ve had this game for a while and although I can’t say enough about how entertaining and well done it is, there needs to be updates. I was able to max out all the gear and now there is nothing to do with the money I have. I think I currently have 32 million dollars or so but it doesn’t matter…there is nothing to buy. We need more upgrades for gear, more courses, more playing options. This game has so much potential but it’s like they have up at “good enough”.

Finally a fun solo golf game!. All of the golf games on the App Store want you to play against your friends and ratchet up the “viral factor” to spread the word on their game. Those are fine, but sometimes I just want a fun career progression and a solid play loop to compel me to continue. That is this game! It’s like Mario Golf Advance on the Gameboy Advance without all the cutscenes and storylines to slow it all down. Mind you, Mario Golf Advance is one of my FAVORITE games, so this is just fine. My only gripe is that the collision boxes with the trees is really tough to predict when the isometric view is such that the land area is behind the trees from the player’s vantage point. I made many a double bogey by getting trapped on the edge of the treeline and having to hit the ball sideways to get out on my second attempt having failed on the first. Overall, excellent game. Tons of courses, all very challenging. Scratches my solo golf itch and is a great time-waster in long meetings while working from home. :)

Game is fun but poorly made. I have been playing this game a lot lately and it is a ton of fun....which is why I’m so disappointed with certain aspects. There’s no option for any front or back spin so hitting greens is a little difficult on harder courses. The worst part though is the trees. I don’t know if the developers have ever played golf or, I don’t know, seen a tree, but these trees are brick walls. If you are anywhere near a tree, take a drop. You’re ball literally cannot go through any trees and will instantly drop. What’s worse about this is that a 2 iron, which would normally be used to hit a low shot out of the tree, hits about as high as the SW so there’s no using that. Basically, the trees and lack of shot shaping together ruin this games great potential.

Crazy Ad’s!!!! Ok Game. I am not being hyperbolic here, this game is the most Ad heavy game I have ever played. Some games you can get through a full game before you get Ad’s. Some maybe half way through. This game tries to make it so you are so annoyed with the Ad experience, that you just pay $2.99 to stop the pain. Seriously, it’s that bad. The game play is Ok. It’s a good idea just executed poorly. They try to put in gotcha trees right off the tee box as if that is something a player wants to experience. The speed for putting is way off. A 1/10 of millimeter can be the difference between 6 feet and a 20 foot putt. Other then that the experience is just Ok.

Amazing game wish it was longer. I am an avid golfer in real life and absolutely love this game. The mechanics are easy to control and the courses are a lot of fun. My mind was blown when I got to the majors levels and saw that the courses almost identically resembled St Andrew’s and Augusta. The only problem I had with the game is that it wasn’t long enough. I beat all the courses in 2 days I loved the game so much, couldn’t put it down. I wish there was more to the game maybe an online pvp, more courses, and more types of upgrades because I have like $20 mil cash and nothing to spend it on because I have all the highest upgrades

Inconsistent. This game could be good, but the power meter and wind make no sense. There’s 0 consistency to how they affect the ball and that makes it impossible to know how your shot will react. You could think you have a perfectly lined up shot and then the ball just dies halfway and drops in trees or water for seemingly no reason. The wind randomly affects the ball a crazy amount, and then next shot have no affect on it at all, it’s infuriating. The dots on the aiming line also make no sense, there’s 5 dots but there’s only 4 written power levels on the meter, would love to have some sort of guide to know what power level will put the ball there/if that’s where the ball will land or if that’s where it will start to bounce.

Cute game, but.... The game has potential, but I’d like to see some yardage indicators and stats and some of the physics aren’t realistic enough. I mean, I don’t want super realistic from a “pixel” game, but the ball rolling off the green any time it just touches a slope indicator? Come on.... My biggest complaint, though, is that it gets glitchy and impossible to putt any time I get a popup message. I like to have screen time reminders for games, but this game is impossible to play after a reminder. It lags after swing touches and makes precision impossible. (Also, the a Majors tour is too difficult, but that’s just me....)

Fun until the final tour. Like some other full reviews (I.e. played fully through before reviewing) I found the game easy and mostly enjoyable, until you get to the final tour. The final tour is all but impossible to win, as more than half the holes are nearly unbirdieable (and in a few cases unparable)without holing in an iron shot. So yeah, a bit unrealistic and not very fun, unless you don’t mind scoring a bogey or higher on half the round. I think the holes need to be shorter (on the birdie unreachable holes) and simply add a few more grades or hazards (slopes) to make it a bit more challenging, but manageable.

Great Game - Wish it had more. I love all types of golf games for various platforms and this game is most reminiscent (to me anyway) of Mario Golf on the Gameboy Color. This game has lots of unique courses that offer a variety of challenges. Definitely have to refine your strategy from hole to hole. Took me awhile to figure out how the wind affected my shots and what the symbols in the green meant and how they affected my putts. My only gripe is that I was able to beat all the courses and buy out the store really quick. I hope that the developers would add more to the game. New courses or game modes or anything to make the playtime longer would be awesome.

Poor Shot Control. Im running this small app on the 12 Pro Max, but somehow when selecting stroke power on back swing, the app slowly chugs in a stuttering manner, distracting my timing. Another aspect with this feature is in the app selecting the maxed power if no tap is registered. Same with the accuracy tap. There are also times when the app chugs/stutters and my taps during power or accuracy selection is latently registered, causing an inaccurate shot which tends to lead to landing in water or trees. These issues are gamebreaking for me as I can’t gain large leads or my leads tank because of them. First easy fix: allow a swing to cancel if no power is selected only. Second, look into optimization settings to prevent this stuttering going on. No other apps running, latest iOS, no screen protector used.

Not really that good. The physics aren’t good. The shot distance is extremely irregular. The 4 dots indicating 25%-100% feel like lies half the time. Putts from off the green are impossible to judge with distance. The ads are unimaginably bad. The wind is extremely inconsistent and feels like it’s not going the way it says. Chip shots don’t move 20 feet in the air when you’re 10 feet away with a 6 mph wind. You’re forced into a Resident Evil 1 perspective which makes it impossible to tell if you’re going to hit trees. The gameplay is FAR too repetitive. I’ve played for four hours and I am deleting this as soon as I finish this review. Don’t waste your money.

Simple and fun. Simple, straight forward and fun. Love the ambient environmental background. Gives a BOTW vibe sound wise. Biggest gripe is not being able to skip any of the animations or transition effects between UI interactions. Can’t quickly restart a level, gotta wait for the ball to come to an end. Can’t skip the slide over animation at the beginning of each hole. Can’t pick to take a drop or not until the “in the trees” animation is gone. You get the idea. The inability to skip animation effects slows down the place to what’s would otherwise be a simple and quick fun type of game.

Solid game, pushy ads. The game itself is solid, I will agree with a few other reviews about annoying mechanics. Swings can be off, it can be difficult to tell if you’re going to hit a tree, also some shots you think you’re going to make tend to fall short. But my biggest peeve is how pushy the ads are, you can play maybe two holes then an ad hits you. Which is fine, they are in the shorter side and I get they need revenue. But after that, you get hit with a pop up to download their other games and then another pop up asking if you want to disable ads. Now imagine that every couple of holes, it takes away a lot from the game.

Great game.. Loved the game. It is challenging. Two things though: first thing, make the golfer transparent when he is over the ball. Can’t see the ball when he is over it therefore cant make an accurate shot. Second thing, give us the ability to skip between each shot. We have a pretty good idea where the ball is going to stop and it is somewhat annoying when you sit there and wait for the ball to come to a complete stop. Other than that, the game is fun!

Fun but infuriating. Trees, putting, wind, the fact that you have to be perfectly center on the aim path there’s no forgiveness no matter how much you upgrade your clubs. Game is super fun but for gods sake. The LOS markers never show when you’re gonna hit trees so good luck guessing on some of the forestry courses. The putting is ridiculous, you can make the same put 7 times with same power and aim and it’ll end up in 9 different spots. Half the time the wind sends your ball a mile, then you adjust and it decides to just not touch it at all. Aim not perfectly center every time? Have fun in the water and hitting every single tree possible. I feel like I’m playing real golf cause this makes me wish I had clubs to break.

Great game!! Too many ads…. I understand the reason for ads. I want the developer to make money. I personally don’t want to buy the no ads feature for 3 bucks plus tax though. Not much money… but I play this just when I’m pooping so…. But the game I’d say is 5 stars for how simple it is and good content! But an ad after every single hole is annoying. Sometimes there isn’t many ads for a given time. And sometimes it’s ad EVERY SINGLE HOLE… again great game.‘I’d rate 5 stars if there was like a mid game ad and end game ad. But 9-10 ads on a nine hole is too much. 1-2 is good. Maybe even 3. At least better than 9 ads…

Relaxing or addictive. I have to say this game impressed me immediately! Very very fun. I wish you could buy silly things like a different color golf ball and stuff but it’s not that big a deal. The real only issue I have with this game is the forced clubs. At points with the hill I might prefer a wedge to get over it but it forced me to putt. Another point I was behind a tree so I couldn’t aim for the hole without hitting the tree. I change the line of the shot to the rough so I could still move off the island but I wouldn’t hit a tree and I realized that I was putting. I try to change the club but it didn’t let you. Literately my only issue, let me make the mistakes of using the wrong club, don’t force me to putt

Good overall…BUT. It’s nice to have a single player game that removes ads at a fair price. Lots of reply value. However, the harder courses are extremely frustrating, especially how difficult it is to see if trees are in your way and putting on sloped greens. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched my ball roll ever slow slowly over the center of the cup and then 20 yards down a hill. The mechanics truly seem different. It certainly takes away from the fun of the more difficult courses. Also, how about a practice putting green? The ability to save games? (not online matches obviously), and PLEASE make the swing button larger!
