HarborFreight. I love to see a smaller store come to town !! I’ll only come here before I go to Walmart!! There they have people real people that will talk !!! They are not thinking of what party or choir they are going to do when they get home!!! If you can’t find someone then get this —— A Employee will generally ask you what your looking for!!! Your not having to walk 5 miles to find someone just so they can get on the intercom and call someone to that dept!! It’s a all around friendly store to shop !! They seem actually happy to help you!! It usually feels like you are bothering the other person at the mng if it’s not moving a lot don’t I repeat don’t stop caring it ok!!! 2. Stay the way you are happy !! With your job it’s up to the manager to get you fired up with specials To tell and show people where everything is !! The customer will love it !! Watch out !!! These smaller stores will start taking off !!! Then more great people to work for them!! I love the store I could look at things for hours !! The service is great they offer help they get you signed up so you can get the best prices!!! Everyone is happy HarborFreight came to town!! Please keep ordering new items for us needy customers!! Missing products. The app is fairly usable but seems to be missing a LOT of the Harbor Freight items. I Frequently search for things on the app that don’t show up and I have to go to the website to find them. Example in the app go and search for icon pliers, like 6-7 show up then go to the website and there are twice that amount. HF is Missing out on a lot of sales if people don’t know to go to the website. Also not app specific but very very unknown secret that many of your hand tools sets have replacement singles available. You have to search online for HF pdf parts to scroll an outdated pdf to see them. I see people asking all the time that lost a single wrench or socket that want to replace it and most get told to go to other vendors to buy it because they don’t know single icon sockets or wrenches for example can be bought. That is two fold, one the customer doesn’t buy the replacement part from HF and two it now introduces them to a different brand that they may return to for purchases later on rather than staying with HF brands like ICON

Harbor Freight…My Candy Store. My first time my hubby took me to HF I was hooked! Wow…unbelievable prices & sales on things I needed and wanted! From Batteries to Lawn & Leaf Blowers I bought! I have over 3 utility canvas bags for all my hobbies I.e. tools(mini drill, file set, wrenches, screwdrivers all sizes, glue, tape, paintbrushes, hammer & nails, screws, hooks etc. all of which I purchased from you), sewing and most accessories from scissors, lighted magnifying glass, every color threads, again from your store in my favorite aisle..the special items unique to your usual items), I love your clearance section too! All of your staff are exceptionally nice making my experience most memorable too! I have recommended you to all my acquaintances and friends as well! Unfortunately I’m unable to come again in person due to my handicap condition now, but I still visit you through this App! So thankful for Online Shopping!! Being handicapped this day & age isn’t so bad thanks to the World Wide Web! 😋

Love the app but…. It’s a great app, shows me whatever I look for and pricing which it awesome! The only thing that’s kind of annoying is if you click on an item and click back out it takes you all the way to the top of the search so you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were, other than that love the app, I can save items that I want to purchase so next time I go into the store I can just open my saved items and remember what I need to pick up! Love harbor freight and the have had 90% of the tools I need for every job! Yall are doing a great job on the variety especially with the icon brand, finally bit the bullet on getting a icon ratchet and trust me they do not disappoint, will definitely be purchasing more of that series!

Buyer Be Where. There are many items that are a great buy. Quality and built to last. Then there is some items that are built for one use or until you cross the curb. When buying tools there are two qualities, Professional and Homeowner (junk). Professional will cost more, you buy once, and is built to last. With Homeowner you can count on breaking and buying again. When buying again you will step up and pay a little more and buy the Professional quality that you should have purchased to start with. So it would have been be cheaper to buy the Pro quality to start with. Keep in mind, that any item that is Pot Metal, plan on replacing it. Harbor Freight has the two grades of items. Shop wisely. I am 69, I started buying my tools 50 years ago. I still have those tools because I purchase by quality not price.

Frustrating to use. I’ve had this app all of five minutes and I’m already about to uninstall it. I have an iPhone and most apps and web pages you can swipe across the screen to go back a step/page. This app you cannot. I discovered that while looking at an item. I was trying to swipe back to the list of items. Okay, no big deal. I’ll just manually go back to the list…oh no I won’t. Because there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that. So every time I was done looking at an item I had to just click on “products” at the bottom of my screen, which took me back to the main products page. I then had to click back through the different departments/items in order to get back to the items I had just been in. I specifically was looking at automotive jacks and had to go back into automotive, then into jacks, then scroll down to find the one I’d just been looking at, then go to the next one. And so on and so forth - I was comparing jacks and had to do this process a gazillion times and now I’m just irritated. What an asinine thing to do in an app where you’re trying to entice people to buy things. Why on earth would you make it more difficult for people to spend their money with you? 🤦🏻‍♀️

It keeps getting better. I like this app because it's all that's needed to get what I want in tools and equipment. Other than the initial screen attempting to get me to subscribe to flyers that I already receive, there aren't any annoying popups or other garbage that many others include. I always wondered why this didn't come out sooner and now I realize that HF made sure that it would work. The app is outstandingly simple, and the search engine is effective and efficient. Forever ago I started ordering out of a small mail order catalog or off the pages of car magazines and waited and waited for my order to arrive. I've been ordering for so long that I even had a lifetime insidetrack membership, until I screwed up and renewed it. Now with a local store and the app I can check inventory and get almost anything they have in a few minutes.

The Harbor Freight App is amazing!. I’ve only recently started shopping at Harbor Freight. They opened a store in my area in 2021 and since then I’ve been buying my tools exclusively through them, using the App to check for sales and availability. I’m extremely impressed with how easy and intuitive the App is to navigate! It saves me both time and money, since I no longer have to spend half the day driving around to check for sales and/or best pricing on tools and equipment for my home. Instead, I simply check the Harbor Freight App for what I need, and then either order it or go to the local Harbor Freight store and purchase it. Harbor Freight’s pricing is usually significantly better than the local stores, and the quality has been excellent! I never feel that I’ve purchased an subpar product, and I love having several options for each item I need! Those options have been very instrumental in helping me stay on budget for the equipment necessary to complete each project! The Harbor Freight App is the first place I always check whenever I need tools or equipment for any new project! Thank you!

Sign in feature is nice, but could be improved. Been using this for years now and have been enjoying it for the most part. It comes in very handy to keep track of coupons and browse for items in and out of store. The only problem was not being able to sign in and sync your wish list with the desktop site. They finally added this feature so you can sync your wishlist. However, the app signs you out too frequently. It won’t stay logged in for more than a couple hours and when it signs you out your wishlist items disappear. It’s really frustrating to have to sign in every time you want to use the app. At least add Face ID so isn’t so tedious. Something else that could make the app better is to add a purchase history section to track warranties, write reviews, etc.

GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!!!. I do not normally write a lot of reviews. I am more of an old school type of person. But when I was asked to participate in writing review I had to make an exception. Harbor Freight is a fantastic store to shop in. I have shopped personally in the new store in Beaufort, South Carolina, and Rincon, Georgia. I mentioned both stores because every associate in either store was polite, helpful, courteous. Managers in both stores should be proud that they have such good associates. If that wasn’t enough to send you to HarborFreight. They have fantastic deals on quality products for a DIY’er. Plus, an app to help you determine what’s in stock at a particular store. As well as a fairly new credit card which gives your points back as well as no interest deals when you make an expensive purchase.

Perfect if you are getting into home renovations or just adding tools to your tool shed.. I am a welder but also a man of many trades. I like to learn more about other trades to give me an upper hand in life & be self dependent. Harbor freight has made it much easier for me to be able to do just that. They have tools of all sorts but not only that but their brand name tools are of greatest quality especially for the price & if that does not convince you, they have lifetime warranty on their tools so you could just return it & get a brand new one. They also have a membership that is a yearly 1 time fee of $30 that last the whole year & you get extra discounts. I highly recommend getting it, chances are you will save more than the $30 you spent in just the 1st month!

Harbor Freight contractor review. As a young business man running a company the past 5 years I’ve learned how tough it is getting where you want with your business and being in the construction business some of our most important and major investments are the tools and equipment used to tackle any job or task, this is where harbor freight shines a light big time. It’s rare today to find anything of value at a very good price and this is where harbor freight has sealed the deal personally the Hercules line of products that harbor freight sales have top the charts in my opinion I’ve got everything they make and love it all to top it all off any brushless battery powered item is sold with a warranty they hold true to and garuntee if something where to happen it will be replaced free of charge only having to have a proof of purchase, I highly recommend harbor freight and could go on and on as to why! LONG TIME HARBOR FREIGHT FAN. App is better than awesome!! I once spent at least a thousand dollars a year if not more. But once the coupons in the mail stopped and getting the 20% an sometimes 40% was no more it’s not the same. I still love using the app to look at items I need and want, but with out the coupon I don’t go get what I need and then leave the store with more items then what I came in for. But the app is awesome, wish it was available through all the years when we got coupons. It’s cool running into fellow HarborFreight once loyalists and reminisce about the good old days when we were in the store multiple times a month when we bought so much more at our former favorite store.

No hard feelings. Harbor Frieight has made some improvements in some tools, however I noticed the increase in pricing. Any further I don’t think it’ll be worth buying anything there. The extra low prices is what made it worth it. My second thought is why can’t online purchasing and curbside delivery be done? Lastly, the people at the store could use some on the job training in products and their uses. Maybe section the store according to product and an employee in each area for better service. Also, serious attention and training needs to be done in customer care. The store seems empty until I see them all grouped together at the front socializing. Whenever I ask for assistance, it isn’t a satisfying experience. They seem curt, annoyed, impatient or not very knowledgeable. The willingness to help is minimal. Or I feel brushed off if not given an oh well shrug. I mean they aren’t outright rude, but not friendly most of the time. There was one girl who checked me out the other night right at closing and she was really friendly. She is rare at that store. That is all for now. Thanks for asking. Best Automotive Tools Selection!!!!. GREAT TOOL QUALITY!!!(When the tools are used properly and not improperly)!!! You can get OE Grade tool’s and I like how you can specifically search for the exact brand name of hand tools, specialty tools, power/battery operated tools, and the electrical automotive tools. I’m able to work and complete any and all of the task’s at hand. But the best is how if I can’t get it in-store I can order it through the app and have it shipped directly to my house. It comes swiftly and it’s always exactly what I ordered plus , the prices are fair. You also can see price comparison’s as you shop or search for tools along with the option to buy the tool that it’s comparable to or compatible with. Great Site/App 100%!!!!!!

It’s alright , but could be GREAT. The Harbor Freight app is nice and easy to use I prefer the website but the app is okay. It’s pretty much a carbon copy of the website just in a condensed form. My only 2 complaints are that when you come to the bottom of the results, from whatever you’ve searched or whatever category you picked, you can’t touch the top of the page/screen to bring you back up to the beginning. You have to manually scroll all the way back up to the top. Second thing is that after clicking on an item and going to it’s individual page you can’t swipe backwards to exit out and go back. You have to go back up to the top and manually hit the back arrow. Other then those two things the app is alright. I do find myself going to the actual website in my browser because of these pain points. All that being said if those two things were implemented then I would gladly make this a 5/5 star review. Until then it gets 4/5 stars.

App is great and quality of tools has really improved!. I used to laugh at guys who were using anything from HarborFreight and Now , due to the fact they are offering several product lines I own a membership to their Inside Track Club and I have almost every tool I have been able to afford over the past several years and I try to get something each week. Whether it is big or small, I can’t say enough about the predator engines and generators and we are off-grid so we really have a lot of experience with them and own all the inverter generators except for the 9000. Our biggest inverter genny from predator is the 8750 open frame and I am extremely pleased with all of them . I have a 3500 with 490 hours that needed a new coil but aside from that we’ve had no issues beyond the maintenance as described in the manual. The fact that you can buy a power probe name brand tester for a fraction of the cost is a big deal for me too!

I’m a Newbie website. I cant express haven’t used to complete a purchase but, 3 xS I looked briefly 1- love tools/fixing things ( Rosie the Riveter)- not as much past 10years, but the site? Great coupons, directions for tools used best for , prices great, crazy I always took my mom’s vacuum apart, fixed it. Then , farm life, Ist marriage our children 80s-90s by mid 90s Single mom of 4 -all the. “ learning” I despised then? Ty Jesus for STILL🙏 today ex: 96? I replaced my toilet by standing in plumbing isle( heckengers) asked every person about…… but I ended up getting it done!! 2 of my boys, I delegated as assistant and Wa-La!! Thought I was all that in a bag of chips!!! So expensive to hire someone via newspaper then, No PC Google……..My last Apt? I fixed my washer, took days!! Hours!! Tools needed I had …..then 2nd time my Maitanece man? I had to show him, had the specific tools he did not nor did he know what it was?!?! Lol. , ( any my boys left laying about, even dug out of yard dirt!) !! Lol. he didn’t . But my strength is not great 😌 always loved going to Harbor freight tools what are used for etc. Use to have weekly free coupons ad too!! I loved wood shop in school, probably more than home Ec. Lol . but you need it or you need help knowing what you need great place to go. So 5 stars

What you need, when you need it at a price you can afford.. I'm a single woman, disabled and live alone. When things go awry at home or, just need a thorough maintenance around the house, it can often go unaddressed due to the expense of repairs, upkeep or replacement. Living in a tight budget there can be other priorities that demand your attention putting them low on my list. What i love about Harbor Freight is that i can find the materials i need to do the work myself and save what little money i have for larger things i lack the expertise to attempt and being an independent person that goes a long way in helping me to remain independent. Customer service makes short order of any questions i have and never make me feel rushed or as if i am a bother and you can't put a price on that kind of thing in todays world. I highly recommend Harbor Freight to anyones!

Good tools, fair prices. HF is the first pIace I visit when needing tools , and supplies for them. Recent purchases of portable electric tools ( belt sander, hammer drill, toe keep kick saw) were reasonable price, work well and each came with replacement carbon brushes in the box even though I never need them. Air tools and hoses last forever, most recent is the Banks coil roof nailer ( never a jam 15,000 nails) and the Banks 2 in 1 flooring nailer flawless for 6000 sq ft of oak flooring. The store brand nails are of equal quality to name brand big box tools and nails but cost 30% cheaper. One other tool stands out I bought last year was the Lift Master drywall panel hoist. I bought it instead of renting from HD because a 4 day rental was more expensive than BUYING it from HF. Quality was excellent and worked without a slip for the whole job. Now I have a tool for life that I had rented dozens of times over the years

Surprised for sure. I was a contractor and I had a trailer with well over $40K of tools stolen. I had to keep my team working so I figured I would buy some tools at Harbor Freight until the insurance paid off. That was over 9 years ago. I still use the tools I bought that year. I have never purchased a big name tool since. They have homeowner grade stuff that wouldn’t last a season on the job sight but the better lines are as dependable as the big name tools I used previously. I have 2 tools from the old days and when they go I will replace them at Harbor Freight. As for the website I know which store has the items I am looking for in stock. I save time and money while getting the job done.

Harbor Freight Review. So my point of view when I am rating this review is coming from the perspective of someone who actually works for the company. I use this app frequently at the register when I’m trying to find coupons for customers or trying to sell memberships. Usually whenever you search up an item number on the app it would show you if there was any coupons or ITC discounts associated on that specific item. Recently however when I search up specific items, the coupons and ITC discount information doesn’t show up immediately with the item search. Now I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal but when I am working with a customer I need to know quickly whether or not there are ITC discounts associated with that item so I could use that information in a sales pitch to try to sell a membership. If there was anything that could be done I wish it could just go back to where if you search up an item, coupons and associated with that item would show up immediately. I think this would not only be beneficial for employees like myself, but would also be beneficial for customers looking to find coupons and get a good deal. It would make customers happy and be more willing to come back and HFT stores program numbers would be better. This is just my personal feedback that I feel would make the app better.

Very convenient to have the app. As someone who likes to see what’s new and happening at my local Harbor Freight, I appreciate the convenience of the app. We all know you can get on the internet and go to the web page, but it is nice to click the app on my iPad, and I’m there just like that. One touch takes me to all the current Inside track deals and sales. It functions well. The only flaw is the search engine, and it isn’t limited to the app alone. It can often be hard to locate a specific item with the search bar because the search engine isn’t very smart, it doesn’t intuit what you’re looking for by common name or broad searches, so it depends on how an item is entered into the system. That is an issue shared by the website and app though, so I definitely recommend the app if you are a Harbor Freight shopper.

Worth the wait?. I really like this app! seems like they must have listen to some customers or they had to fix something and realized the huge gap in NOT being connected with their customers. I can’t believe how many things I didn’t think they carried only to discover them on this app. Plus the way you can tap the heart icon on the coupons that creates a shopping list to go with the coupons. Everyone appreciates not having to flip page after page of the monthly catalog of coupons at the checkout lane. The two year deal for the ITC has saved me more then the fee, although not sure if it saves me any more cause I probably spend more cause of the deals, but having the coupons automatically taken off the items and getting an emailed receipt so I never have to look at another paper receipt that always seemed to be the wrong one I needed to return one or more of the failed or no time to refine the item to work as intended... but that is happening less and less lately with the better products HF has been putting out. Just wish the better quality wasn't diminished by the higher prices... which continues to make HF a secondary option rarely ever the first.

LOVE HARBOR FREIGHT!!!!!! POOR OLE DAD HERE. Mr Brown here from Ohio, I am a not ASE certified however I’ve been a heavy duty industrial generator mechanic for 6 years and i stand by harbor freight, the cheap colored non impact sockets have been used as impact sockets the entire time powered and abused by (m18 fuel mid torque) the color chips and fades with use but who cares..no signs of cracking or misshapen corners or edges…However I do not recommend YOU use non impact sockets on an impact gun, I’m just sharing my experience. Harbor freight never lets me down. I do own lots of MAC TOOLS products only cuz the tool truck comes to work once a week, try harbor freight if you’ve never been, the Greenville,OH branch seems to be doing a great job at supplying quality tools affordably..I do not work for HF and not being paid to be positive in this review

Great Company, Great App. I love Harbor Freight. We have to be careful when making a purchase.. for we do get what we pay for most of the time. But… Harbor Freight does have great deals on good products. I have been shopping with Harbor Freight for 20 years and have made some mistakes on purchasing what wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. Harbor freight’s customer service is so great, they have always helped me out the best they could and we ended up with a good outcome on both ends. Harbor Freight has improved on quality over the last 20 years I have been shopping with them. I still purchase Snap-On and Milwaukee. Some things I do have to get from them to make myself fully satisfied for all of my needs. I buy from variety’s others as well, but I know a lot about buying tools and what I want. Harbor Freight covers most of everything on my needs. The app seems to work alright. I haven’t used it much other than for the coupons, so I can’t give too much of a review on it. But so far so good. Could definitely be improved. I debated on giving this app two stars, but since I am a glass half full type of person, I gave it three. I like that I’m able to see all of the items that I am looking for, and whether or not they’re in stock at my local store. But it is extremely frustrating but every time I open up a text message, take a call, or close the app for any reason-whenever I get back to it (rather it is five seconds or five minutes later) it refreshes and takes me directly to the homepage. In other words, whatever I was looking at, I have to search for again. It is so very frustrating! Please fix this. I also wish that I was able to place orders for pick up or shipping on the app, instead, I can only make lists and have to go to the website either on my phone or laptop to place a pick up order or shipping order.

App is *almost* there…. The Harbor Freight app is getting better and is *almost* there on functionality. With the recent upgrade, developers have *finally* rid us of the annoying “Do you like this app” question upon startup. Now the annoying startup question is about which store to set as your main store. Every. Single. Time. You. Use. The. App. C’mon people… is it too much to ask that the app remembers who I am when I open it every time? This version *finally* allows a user to log into their online account, and synchronizes the online and former app-only wish list. That’s a plus. I can understand having to log in every time, but would love the options of: • being able to save login information; • having fingerprint login verification; • app remember who I am & my store; • ability to stay logged in; • multiple wish lists, for projects, jobs, etc. Again, the app is getting better, and does allow one to quickly search for a wide variety of tools, see a specific item’s availability in a selected store, plus stores nearby, and to see available coupons & sales. Right now it’s a four-star app, but could soooo easily be a five-star!!!

Digital coupons. The new system has been very problematic. I’m sure HF is saving a ton of money while reducing waste, but at the expense of customer service and frustrated associates. I’ve made three large purchases with multiple digital coupons and everyone of them has a roughly 25% fail rate on the coupons being correctly appt. I’ve been made to track the codes and verbal them whilst the line kept growing and the cashiers made snide remarks to shift the blame on me for their lack of ability to process the coupons. ‘How dare I use so many at once’ . I frankly don’t give a crap and expect the advertised prices and at least mediocre customer service. I’ve seen other customers just walk away from frustration. Dear HF. Please streamline this process and retrain the associates on basic service skills like being professional and ownership of their jobs. This process is creating a rift on client relations that will cause some to change their minds about doing buisness with the company.

Very good app. If you’re looking for something and you want to get it at Harbor freight there website tells you what’s available. Sometimes you will have a product and they will put it twice on the app. What’s the difference between the two they look like their exact so that might be something you might want to look at, but for the most part, you know the app is OK. I have trouble in the store sometime for the people who work there, but you know that has nothing to do with the app, most things are made in China anyway, so why not go to Harbor freight but if I know something made in America I will try to go to the American one or if I buy something Harbor freight I’ll try to buy the American

One of the better store apps. HFT is one of the better store apps. - The search is intuitive. On some store apps, you have to exactly enter what the store calls an item instead of its function or ‘trade name’. HFT’s search engine is intuitive and just about always on the money. - By saving searches, it’s easy to create a shopping list to use when you get in the store. - When it comes to inventory availability, there is a bit of a lag time. It appears that inventory numbers are updated periodically, so if you have a distance to drive to the HFT store, it’s best to look up the phone number in the app and call the store to make sure it’s in stock. With that said, when it comes to sale items, “You snooze, you lose” applies. At my store, if you wait until the last day of a sale, it’s doubtful if you’ll find any sale items on the shelves. - I do wish the app would show what aisles the items are in the store. But since the floor plan is different in each store, that would likely be impossible. I’ve found the best way is to ask a salesperson… they usually know down to the exact shelf. - A nice touch is that the instruction manuals are normally included in the listing. This makes it easy to download the manual to your computer so you’ll have a ‘forever’ copy. In all, this is a recommended app that is enjoyable to use.

Satisfied, customer service. Hi, my name is Mike I go to the Downingtown Harbor freight that is closest to my house. Everybody that works there is very friendly and helpful. Stacey is one of the managers and is always friendly with a smaller her face, and always willing and wanting to help you with whatever you may need sometimes if only one person is working, the cashier and a line forms. She is quickly too hop on register herself, or tell someone to hop on another one to make the line go fast. You can tell that she cares about her job just by watching her. It’s hard to find people these days and even care about their job period.. I am a inside club. Member have been for a few years and will continue to be as long as harbor freight stays in business.. I also feel like they’re stepping their game up with their inventory and their quality. Their pricing has always been awesome. Thank you for everything downtown staff.

It’s up and running. So far it seems like the app is working great. I can see all the coupons (I don’t think it has insider track stuff) and search tools through the app. I’ll be using this a lot if it continues to work. Update: It’s been about 5 months now and they did update the look a little and they do have the ITC deals. There are actual coupons out there for Harbor Freight but not a single one is in it. If you want to buy something, you still have to go to the website. You can’t link your account up with it, but to be fair, you can’t really do that online either. I can add my membership information online but I have to do that each and every time. Their system is severely lacking and I guarantee between that and not being able to order online to go pickup at the store definitely hurts some of their sales. I originally gave them a 5 star because it was new and was just happy they had something. They don’t get that benefit anymore.

Constantly logs out, refreshes between apps. I along with a number of others in the app store reviews for this app have reported that there are constant issues of the app logging you completely out between sessions, refreshes your search if you switch out and back into the app, and does not cache data to work when connectivity is poor. The app has not been updated on over 6 months, but these issues have been happening long before that and needs fixed. There is no reason why you should be constantly logged out between sessions. If you are on an item lookup page, if you quickly switch to another app then come back, it resets the app, which makes things extremely difficult if you are trying to research or copy and paste other data. Also it does not cache the data properly. Since going into warehouse stores can cause connectivity issues and they don't offer wifi at the stores, getting to "my list" to retrieve your coupons can be extremely difficult and annoying to deal with when you're trying to check out at the register. This app needs a complete overhaul to fix all of these severe bugs and issues. It makes the company look bad when not able to handle the iOS app. And as mentioned it is not just me. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app as customer service would tell you to do does not fix the issue if the app itself contains all of these bugs. The iOS team needs to fix all of these issues.

Store is great, app is mediocre. Harbor freight as a store is great - of course they have crap but they also have great prices on some great tools. The app is not great tho. Sure, it does the job - and is pretty much just the web page in an app. But the loading times can be horrendous at times, and there’s plenty of times I have to force kill it and restart the app - because it gets stuck with on a white empty page in the middle of loading. But again, it does the job - and does it just fine. If I would recommend anything about the app, I would say this - Keep it simple, keep it minimalistic. Iron out the loading issues, and make it as fast and efficient as you can. We don’t need flashy features or anything, we want to look for products we’re interested in buying. If you’re going to add anything, add more pictures or videos in your product descriptions. Many items will only have a single picture, and a vague description. We don’t care about a bunch of useless features, we care if it works, and provides the info we need. Other than that, keep doing what you do harbor freight, and don’t change for anyone unless it’s to improve yourself as a company - we love your stores and continue to support your business for doing just that.

My go-to store:Harbor Freight Gastonia,N.C.!. My Father was the “Thrifty “ shopper in my family and he was the one who molded my shopping personality/style. His go-to store was a nearby Big Lots, and he fully understood that you get what you pay for. I have been told by my friends and coworkers that they wouldn’t buy tools or equipment from Harbor Freight because of their own stigmatization (I attribute to peer pressure to buy DeWalt and other names). But brother, I have turned a couple of them to try my backpack sprayer and other things I have purchased from Harbor Freight and they have seen the light! I’m not comparing Harbor Freight to Big Lots, because Harbor Freight is leaps and bounds above the aforementioned “affordable “ outlet. I am a big advocate for Harbor Freight and I have been able to convince several friends that Harbor Freight has quality products if you are open minded enough to stop trying to keep up with the Jones’ / status quo/ imagery. Harbor Freight is the first place I think of when looking for something, and it doesn’t have to be tools or equipment!

Great app, need to add online account access to it. Update: nice to see that saved lists from the online account are now in the app. Looking forward to seeing online and in-store purchase history as well in future updates. Keep up the great work! This is a great app that has easy to find coupons and product info. It’s also easy to see what’s in stock at your local store. The one big missing feature is the ability to login to the same online account that is available on the website to track favorites and prior online purchases. The app should also be able to show both online and in-store purchase history like other stores do. Neither this app or the website do that at this time. Once that feature is added, the app will get 5 stars.

Harbor freight is the best. I’m really pleased that the store was build and that made a mobile app available to all the people, bc now we can what they got in stock and don’t got in stock at the stores so we don’t have to drive all way to the store and get there just to found out that they don’t got what me or y’all need at that moment. So yes I give this a 5 star bc this is a game changer and I’m really pleased to say that to and also their employees are the most amazing and respectful people I ever met in my life. And I’m very glad to have a one year membership with them to and the coupons deals they have with the membership also bc it helps me and dad save money on the stuff we go there to buy So yes I’m as most people say ( a very Happy and go lucky customer) .

App Rating. Love the mobile app very easy for me to receive updates on new products, featured products and upcoming products. I receive sale flyers regularly as notifications hit my phone and a few tapes of the screen I’m already looking at products at my local Wilmington, NC store location. I also receive all notifications every time the store manager sends an email to me. Without the app if I just stayed old school and relied on only going into the store or only had email to check I’d lose out on a lot of good sales, info and updates along with the awesome coupons when the notification hit my phone. A definite must have for anyone who regularly shopped at their local store if you have a phone capable of having the Harbor Freight app on it and you don’t only have it installed you better get on it or you’ll miss out believe me.

If you like tools then then you’ll dig this. Ya know we all know that HarborFreight isn’t known for top of the line tools but they do have a vast variety and good prices for your basic do it your self type. Would a professional mechanic buy from here?? Probably not but for avg people like my self added with the low prices for a good chance of what I’m buying I’ll use a handful of times but it was still much cheaper for me to buy the tool and do it then it was to pay a supposed professional to do it. Also this app is awesome for when your just bored and wanna see what all they have and what new tool that might be out to make some tasks easier. I found a vacuum pump that assists you with bleeding your brake system and makes it so it’s a one man job!!! I’ve heard of thing like this but always assumed that it would be expensive and it’s just to simple to get ya kid or wife or a friend to just come out an pump the pedal an hold an let go when I tell them but it was actually very simplistic tool and for the price just knowing ya don’t have to hope that ya got all the air out you’ll know as you will see very quickly the clean fluid coming through and no bubbles with it just steady stream. I’m rambling a little much now but as a gear head/do it my self type that dogs tools and even just looking at them this app is very much right at home on my phone and fits my personality of what you’d expect to see on a guy like me phone.

Love Harbor Freight But NOT the App. The app’s search function doesn’t work. I’m disabled, so I’m not driving from store to store pricing a set of pliers. I WANT to buy from Harbor Freight, but when I put “pliers” in the search it returns “0” results. Now, I KNOW Harbor Freight sells plenty of pliers & if I go into the shopping categories & into “Hand Tools”, there’s an entire “Pliers” section. So why won’t any come up if I search “pliers”? Then I go into the “contact us” so I can submit feedback about it, I go through the process of writing about it, but the feedback form says there’s an “error & can’t be submitted”, but doesn’t say where the error is & all the required fields are entered properly, but no matter what, will NOT fix the “error” message, so cannot possibly submit feedback, which is so, so bad for any company. Just a terrible waste of time & frustrating. Makes me not shop at harbor freight.

Great But Needs Work. For some reason it made me delete my former review in order to write a new one. Saw some improvement on app but you took away a good detail. Before when I tapped the heart to add an item to my list, the heart would remain dark so I would know I had already put it on my list. Now the heart remains white so when I look at the coupons I cannot tell if the item has already been added. I have to re-add it. Very frustrating. Since I can’t tell if I’ve added something I either have to jump over to the list and search it or go through the entire list of coupons re-adding items because I don’t know if they were already added. A lot of trouble and waste of time. I think I’m already spending less because I don’t always have time to go through the coupon list. If I can see that they have been added (darkened heart) then I know I’ve been through a particular set of coupons and don’t have to try to figure out if I’ve already went through it. Please return this back to how it was previously. It’s aggravating enough that I am not even bothering checking coupons anymore sometimes - thus less money spent with Harbor Freight. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Love the store, but website trumps the app. This would be a five star app if was just a link to their website in a browser. Two stars because you use it like that in a few clicks if you memorize how, but I just set up a link on my homescreen and deleted the app. If you like to download apps for stores where you don’t have account (what?why?), then you might like this. Unless you have an account, in which case you’ll only be able to access it from the website. I’d say nice try, but did they try? Maybe there’s a business reason, but it’s not my business. I still shop there, even though I have no access to the shopping list I created on my iPad from my iPhone. That is until I started over using the website. Here’s what I would like to see in the app: My ITC account info, total ITC savings, past purchases or a “my tools section” for manuals, warranties, accessories, and parts. Maybe some smart feature like alerting me when an accessory for tools I own goes on sale or when new ones come out.

Harbor Freight helped me financially recover. I hate thinking of having to hire someone to fix my things because mostly I’m curious about how they work so I want to open up and find the culprit for whatever might be wrong with it. So when I go to Lowe’s or home depot I think about how many ramen noodles I could buy with all the money I would spend on a tool there. I can only afford ramen because the 1% don’t care about us poor folk. But harbor freight does care about us lower class folk because I can get a tool for a ridiculously low price and if the tool isn’t sharp enough or powerful enough they sell things to improve it at again a ridiculously low price. So thanks for helping me keep up with paying these money grubbing leeches and keeping my head above water so I can fix my things and also keep myself at the standard of at least surviving in this corporate capitalist run world.

Glitchy and slow. App often crashes runs slow or just doesn’t work at all. However on the rare occasion the app functions as it should, the ability to view prices and special deals is great but until the app is improved it is nothing but a hassle to use. The most unreliable feature in the app is the information regarding the current stock of each item. I have found it to be completely incorrect multiple times after seeing an item is at a location then traveling to a location only to find the item displayed in the app as instock to be out of stock. Sometimes I’m told that they don’t know why it says there 7 instock cuz they havnt had any instock for a long time or the app is updated ahead of items actually arriving to a store. Last time this occurred the app displayed 3 instock but when I arrived at the store I was told that the item was currently out of stock but there was 3 scheduled to be delivered the following night

Quality has really improved and customer service is second to none. I buy 80 percent of my tools from harbor freight! Been shopping here over 15 years and I’ve learned that the designs get better with time ! The reviews are usually spot on so i usually check to see what others are saying if it gets 4 stars or better I ride with it. And there are levels to the tools also like the other big tool stores and most are lifetime warranty (no hassle exchanges) so if you never been to harbor freight give em a try ,if you have years ago and didn’t like selections then look again because at least 90 percent of products have been redesigned,improved and or replaced with a better option and they offer lithium ion batteries on most if not all levels of power tools and tool storage is comparable if not better than both tool truck brands !

Love this store!. When I first heard about HF I wasn’t sure what kind of store it was until I seen basic reviews on the store & products. Once I entered one that was 30 minutes away from home I truly appreciate; first: the product! Some people say they are cheap! But (my personal opinion) it can’t be too cheap that most of the parts are selling like “hot-cakes”. Second: (personal favorite) the quality. If the products can do the job not just well but satisfying; I will continue to buy from them. My last purchase was a small electric impact gun & gave it a gamble; Happy I did! It took care of the jobs I had with ease and able to get into those small areas where Manuel labor once was. Thank you HFT!

Harbor Freight. I find this app easy to use very informative and guided to both professional pro to non pro everyday people. I can usually find everything I need and then so that I forgot I needed to do my job. Also I can pickup or have shipped depending on my needs at the time. What I really appreciate is when I get to store I can ask ALL the questions I want without being made to feel they are in hurry or plain to irritated to help find items for me and that I not Stupid for asking and being a Woman. Great App. I love this app, especially since I own an Insider Track Club membership. It’s always easy to view all new deals, new tools/equipment, and practically everything at the store. It’s also great to be able to pull up the SKU number on each item to show to an employee at a store — I’ve never had trouble finding an item! The only improvement I would make to the app is allowing customers to order items to their home; for that, I have to use the Harbor Freight website, but nonetheless this app still receives a 5 star rating!

My saved items in "My List" keep disappearing!. The app is great and all but what's the point of adding items to the "My List" section if the list keeps getting cleared/reset every few weeks? Over the months that I've had this app, I've probably created four to five lists so I can remember what to look out for when I have time to visit a store. For whatever reason, each of those lists have been cleared away. Why??? My list is empty yet again! Do you guys want my money?!? I'm getting tired of searching through all the categories and creating the list over and over and over and over and over again! You guys already don't have a cart to add items to and this is the best favorites list you guys can come up with??? I have tools to buy to have handy around the house and money to spend. Shade tree 1. Love harbor freight Pittsburgh tools are fully warrantable and a fraction of the price. If you need specialty tools I have never been disappointed in the several I’ve bought from diesel compression tester to ball joint replacement tools all have worked great I’ve used the ball joint tool for probably 12 to 13 years and have no complaints. I highly recommend harbor freight for all your shade tree mechanic needs. Why pay thousands for something you probably only gonna use once but will still be fully usable again and again if you need it.

Harbor freight. I’m a tech for a dealership who works with mainstream tool brands like snap on, Matco and Mac tools. I will say harbor freight has really stepped their game up especially with the icon line…. I mean some things in this field you can’t cheap out on when it comes to equipment but these days some things you really get a bang for your buck. With this app being very easy accessible and simple to navigate.. I highly recommend. You can look and see what’s in stock at your location so you don’t have to hop from store to store hoping somethings available you may need.. very easy to find what you need and get help.

Find the store that has what you’re looking for. The “in stock” feature helps me because I live in an area that has 4 or 5 stores in reasonable driving distance so instead of ordering it and waiting, I can just check which store shows it in stock and go get it. I do recommend calling ahead to make sure because the feature is only correct about 90%. Do not drive the twenty minutes to find out what a phone call would tell you. Navigating the app can be tricky but it is worth lee free learning. Please Harbor Freight, don’t forget your roots and why we love you, it’s the prices staying low. The cordless stuff is cool but those battery prices are insane. If a trusted name brand only costs $10-$20 more than yours, I’m getting the “good” one.

JONNYBILT Review. As a tec of 20 plus years harbor freight is a good asset to the industry they allow newer techs to get a start for a lower cost than the alternative tool trucks . I personally like harbor freight specialty tools when I have a job that I need the tool once or twice and dont necessarily need to buy the expensive pro line. Let’s not beat around the bush you get what you pay for but a informed technician can definitely advantage from a good mix of both HF and more expensive tools . As much as I disagree with the morals of the Chinese not ever having a original idea and just reverse engineering everything they see and cutting corners whenever possible I truly believe we are ruining our own economy by supporting such acts but unfortunately guys gotta eat in crazy times like this Sincerely JONNYBILT

Harbor Freight App very handy. Are used to call Harbor Freight the single used tool company. So if you’re not a professional carpenter, and you want to do some trim work around your house, one other Salz would be good for that. However, they have switched to a good better best mentality, which makes it up to the consumer to decide which level of quality and longevity they need out of the tool. The app, now that they actually have one, and it works well. If you’re in an area with two or three Harbor Freight stores and you need to know if they have a tool available that you’re looking for, it can save you a lot of time.

Pleasantly surprised. The harbor freight in Silverdale and their staff are amazing. I had never shopped at Harbor freight previous to the opening of the one in Silverdale so to my surprise, everything was exceptionally cheap considering the tools I was buying. The staff we’re very helpful when I asked him about a product that would work best for this particular job. Also, while purchasing a variety different products, the insurance on these products was fairly cheap and on top of that they return policy as long as you have a receipt and it’s in the certain timeframe is no questions ask. Personally, I love this store. I’m very grateful for the staff and the products HarborFreight carries.

Pittsburgh Tools. I don’t care which one of there tools you use have or want they are the best tools hands down and they stand behind every single tool they sell. I have bought tools from Harbor Freight for more than 30 years and I have only had one problem with them and that was over the inside track membership and that has nothing to do with the quality of tools they sell. I have other brands in my toolbox’s but every single person always uses the tools I have bought from Harbor Freight in Topeka KS

HF Online Smart Phone App. The product selection, description, customer reviews and search results are excellent. Good job. I rated it 4-stars only because some links don’t work on the App unless you are on a computer….not on a Smart Phone. My other criticism is trying to pay my HF credit card bill. There should be an easy, obvious link to pay your HF credit card. I understand it is on another web site and it takes you away from the HF web site, but I am sure you would like your credit customers to keep their payments current.

Needs a little work. I like the app, however one thing they should change is it’s mobile friendly use. It is an app after all. For instance when you look at an item and back out it takes you to the beginning which makes it difficult to find your place. I noticed this on many apps. It’s very annoying though and makes you not want to use it. How on earth are the programmers looking past this? Only thing I can think of is a bunch of lazy millennials just trying to get a quick check and that’s unfortunate but what we have to deal with cause a lot of us older guys don’t know anything anymore and have to rely on ‘em…

Can be better. The app automatically loads up coupons and you can save them to use on your phone at checkout, however, you can’t buy anything on the app, you’d have to go to the website. Also, searching is a hit and miss, sometimes I can search for something by name and it won’t show up. The filtering doesn’t work at all; filtering by price for example does not work. Also, if you back out of the app and go back in after a few minutes, it has to load up again, which is very annoying. The app is very useful, however, it is no replacement for the website. Would I recommend downloading it? Yes.

Amazing, room for improvement. 5 stars for harbor freight in general, they are a one of a kind tool supplier with the best prices and variety. The app itself is lacking some direction when it comes to shopping. The opportunity to tailor certain items based on customer information is being missed and i think it would be nothing but helpful for harbor freight. Otherwise the app is well organized and perfect at searching items and locating them near you. To the big guys at harbor freight, your getting my money either way, but you could get a lot more by adding some features to the app

General overview of Harbor freight. Who would be my personal opinion since I’ve been around for over 60 years in the contracting business for that long it seems, Harbor freight itself is a great place to find inexpensive working tools. Out of the several years I’ve been involved with this company I have had very few returns. The bad part is Customer service! That seems to be where everything is falling behind the cracks, in my opinion. Richland branch in specific. As far as the products go I said before I have had very few returns and had excellent luck with them enjoy hope you have the success that I have had thank you. Lynn D. Almost good app. For the most part the app is pretty good, but it has a couple of issues. When searching for an item it gives you a list of items to look at. If you scroll down and click on an item to look at it, when you click back to the list you are all the way back at the top of the list. A little annoying if you have scrolled down a ways already. One other thing I’ve noticed, not really sure if this is an issue or by design, but there’s is no way to sign into the app. Other than those couple of things, it is pretty convenient to have coupons and prices of all HFT items right on your phone.

Good but could use some work. The app is user friendly easy to use and seems to be updated regularly. But I don’t like that if I leave the app to go to another app and then jump back to the HarborFreight app it reloads to home page instead of being where I left off. But I understand they are trying to make it a simple app that doesn’t use as much memory or data which keeping me from where I left off would require the app to hold memory but I still feel like in todays time that shouldn’t be a big deal. Change that and I’ll give it a 5 star

App performance. This is the last review I sent below. I have to say, there isn’t any change or improvement. Coupons should all load at once and not require going back to the first page of coupons to get to see all of them. So, all coupons should be available on one click. The repetitiveness is what makes it so awkward. There’s several other little things that could be done to make it a great app, but I just got home from work. Maybe more later. The app could be easier to use. It’s awkward. I’ve seen a lot better apps. Spend a little more money on your app development. Update: much better now. Thank you for the effort.

Great app. Easy to use and navigate on my iPhone. An I can find what I’m looking for. The only thing that would make this completely better. Is to have the items you pick. If not in your choice store location. It would show you closest store with availability. An if the in store items are not available. Make it so you can buy them at the sale price. An pick up when they are available an in stock. Some stores have so much more then others. An those stores are a hour away from my location.

This is a well thought out and layer out APP. People always talk smack about Harbor Freight. Yet I know the most vocal of them, REGULARLY shop at Harbor Freight. I always tell them 5heir full of it because I see Harbor Freight brands at their house. For me this APP helps know if items I may be looking for are in stock, if so, where in the store they are, making the so easy to find. It is very well organized. If I type in something on my iPhone, I often make spelling mistakes because I have Gorilla Hands, but Harbor Freight APP logic engine is sophisticated enough to either show me what I am actually looking for, or suggest a search for what I’m actually looking for. App review. It’s a good app no doubt! Just wanted to mention a few things in case you’re looking to improve. A problem I see a lot with stores apps is, I very often use stores apps to see if a product is actually at a store near me. Most have features of some sort for this but I think it should be probably the most user friendly, easy, and easy to get to part of a stores app. It’s also very very nice when stores apps have a thousand different ways to sort and filter results. So make as many options as you can think of. The last comment I have is sometimes I don’t really know what something is called or something like that and it makes it very hard to find what your looking for. The app needs to be able to figure what people are looking for better so this doesn’t happen. I have noticed I will shop at stores sometimes cause there app is more user friendly so (I’m sure you know) it is a big deal.

Harbor, freight, servicing, tools. I think all well priced tools, a high quality service and the atmosphere in your stores extremely positive and professional . Our service workers in your store always walk me to where I am looking for something so I am not left, staggering down the hallway, trying to find which side they were talking about. It’s quite nice actually and they always greet you when you walk in the door. The prices are great too. Can’t beat them. I’ve even convinced my grandfather to buy stuff from the store and he is very pleased. He was jealous of the leather gloves I got from the store and I told him I would hook him up. Good. Great app. Only thing I get annoyed about is that if I go out of the app to do something then come back in it will relaunch the whole app. Which is the most frustrating if you’re in the store and looking for coupons. But that could be my phone or some settings I have on. One other thing If you’re looking at coupons or any item category and you click on something that interests you or by accident, when you hit back it takes you all the way to the top of the page to the first ten on the list . But not a big deal. Could be on my end. Awesome place. Can’t believe I didn’t know about its existence until like a year ago.

Awesome Deals. Harbor Freight over the past several decades, has gotten a bad rap about having cheap tools that are trash with the guys in the trades. Although they may have some tools that have broken on me in the past, they also have some great deals especially now that they have signed on Bauer and Hercules power tools to their line of tools. I have had very good performance from these tools and they are built tough and also can save you lots of money as well. There are lots of new tools that are of good value and are much better than the cheap tools of the past.

Getting better everyday. Harbor freight is getting better everyday. Their products, their innovations and the quality and belief in their products is second to none. The respect the warranties they offer and will not make you jump through hoops in order to get the warranty honored. I enjoy seeing how almost weekly they have something new to compete with the big major name manufactures and yet their prices are consumer friendly and their products are as durable if not better in some instances. I am a true believer and follower for HFT!

App doesn’t work - update: works again. It used to work on my iPhone 13. Now I just get the harbor freight splash logo and that’s it. The app loads nothing. iOS 15. So it’s useless until they fix it. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No change. UPDATE: developer reached out to me after above review and asked to be contacted to resolve the problem. But as of now it started working again in its own. It must have been an outage on their server. So that is good. The only remaining issue I have is that sometimes when you click on a coupon, if it says unavailable it does not let you search for it in other stores. It gets into an unclickable state where you can’t get past the coupon itself.

I couldn’t find it on the app. 🥲 Day 2 update: I went to the HarborFreight in West Valley Utah. I asked the cashier about the 20% off coupon and he took the time to show me where I could find it online 👍👍. It would be nice if the coupon would be available on the app. I hope that can be done in the future. I would rather use the app than the flyer I get in the mail. The employees at my store are great. I love HarborFreight 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Always improving. I’ve been using HF for as long as they’ve been operating. Their tools used to be a lot less expensive but so was the quality! Slowly they started raising their prices and the quality in their products went right along. I used to go to the Santa Rosa store, a 1.5 hr round trip, so trips were limited! Recently they opened a new, very clean, very organized, and well designed store in Petaluma. Problem is that it’s too close to spontaneously get in the car and go spend cash I normally wouldn’t. However it’s money well spent and I’ve always used what I’ve purchased at some point.

Finish your race value. An excellent start to honor the hard work going on in the retail stores. The improvement many would like to see is repair/parts for many of your excellent items. For example, air compressors are competitive with many of the top-rated. I can get filters, plugs, pull assemblies, and carburetors for their products. I can get them from you but must spend a lot more time and it does not happen in a hurry. I am a person who likes my money and time optimized. You need to consider finishing your outstanding journey. Your fans are waiting.

Harbor Freight App. The app is very user friendly. After only a short time of first use, I found what I was looking for, the price, and if the store I had chosen to be my main one, had the item in stock. Harbor Freight’s ability to have the odd “I didn't even realize I needed it” items, along with my list of things that I brought with me to get, is practically unbeatable. Great web site and great brick and mortar stores. By the way, I’m over 50 years old and my technical skills went out with cassette tapes and vcr’s , so for me to use their site without throwing the phone, is priceless to me Thank you Larry W Mongar

Good APP could use a few improvements. The ability to save coupons and items to your list is a great feature. The ability to sync those saves to your online account is a good feature also. However, for no rhyme or reason the APP signs me out all the time. Which then forces me to sign back in to sync my account to view my current list. Kind of annoying to sign in almost every time I pull up the APP. Finally, more results per page would be nice. I find myself constantly hitting load more. Then when you go to a new page and back to the list you have to click load more to get back to where you were. It doesn’t always retain your previous place in the list.

Anybody listening? YES YOU ARE!!!!. UPDATE: 11/20, YES YES YES! HF, you are listening, you added a dedicated ITC icon to the app, and under, DEALS OF THE DAY, a ORANGE ITC banner, click on it and you don’t even have to enter your info, which was a pain because you just need to see the discounts, plus on every revisit, it did not retain the info, meaning you had to re-enter all your info again! GREAT JOB HF, I’m luvin this app, and spending with glee! Sent many emails and no reply’s to the question, are you adding ITC MEMBERS SECTION, to the App? On the web page the ITC section is there, and it’s a pain, because every time you enter it you constantly have to add all your info!

Easy surfing for the tools you need. The biggest thing for me when on any website is how intuitive and overall how easy it is to use. Harbor Freight’s website provides just that. You want to find just that right pair of pliers? The search bar is right there for you to use. Do you need suggestions and or other options, they are easy to find. Say you need a particular tool but you don’t want to spend a ton of cash, Harbor Freight has choices right on the website for good,better and best depending on what you want to spend and at the quality level you need.

Always great people & reasonable tool prices!. I use the HarborFreight app to review current sale prices and to compare tools (i.e. Icon, Doyle, Quin & Pittsburgh). I then go to my neighborhood HarborFreight in Robinson Pa. to pick it up, usually finding something else to get. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help & give advice. This HarborFreight is down the street from my job so I’ll go in even when I’m not shopping for anything and check the app. It’s a great resource for checking availability of items before driving out to the store as well.

HarborFreight gots it going on!!!. I was so happy when the HarborFreight store opened in my town they have great prices and better deals. Not everything they sell is top shelf but you also get what you pay for but a lot of their products are actually really good. I use their saw blades, drill bits, and sand paper because the price is half but the performance is the same I also bought my paint brushes there and they sell Chinese bristle oil finish brushes for a third of what they cost anywhere else and and the results were better then other more expensive brands I love every opportunity I get to go there. And the staff are friendly and knowledgeable which is nice too

Like crack but better!!. For a man like me who is a business owner,a do-it-yourselfer, a hobbyist,and as someone who truly appreciates the quality of not only the tools and products that they sell but of the people that they employ,you simply can’t beat this place! Great selection,great quality,great customer service,hassle free returns and exchanges and they actually honor whatever warranty their products carry from their individual brands. I literally have to make myself leave this place every time I go! And finally,you can’t beat the potential for money saved over a year’s time with an Inside Track Club membership,especially for the money!

Life changing. I couldn’t believe the change this app brought to me and my family! First it started with a Bauer brushless drill set, with the battery and charger for $99! I was putting together buildable furniture in half the time! The time that I would have spent building I spent it getting my brisket ready. I added a welder, air compressor, and various other equipment…needless to say I was set. I started welding random pieces of pipe together and eventually found a love for making sculptures. I spend so much time in my garage, away from my wife and kids. I’m even getting along better with that she bat! Thank you HarborFreight!!!!

Harbor Freight - Easy To Use App. As a DIY’er, I’ve been able too look up various items I needed for my home projects which include automotive, flooring, and woodworking tools. The app helps you to check availability at your closest harbor freight in case your usual store is out of your specialty tool. This only happened once and I was able to navigate the closest HF at the right competitive price. I usually shop on the app to look for quantity before I get behind the wheel - which saves gas $$$. Overall, I’m very pleased with harbor freight, the app & their friendly staff. Makes my DIY projects more affordable and easier to do! Thanks HF!

Reliable tools. Hello there let me begin with I’m a professional interior remodeler and l have pretty much any tool you can think of to perform my job but it wasn’t like this 20 years ago when l purchased my first tile bridge wet saw at harbor freight tools and guess what? Yup, still running strong l changed the blade about 10 times already but this thing just keeps running despite the fact that it lives in my non heated/air conditioned garage. There’s a bunch of tools that they carry that are far better than the top notch brands, try their impact mechanic sockets you’ll be pretty impressed. Thank you guys keep up the good work!

All tools. Im from east Fayetteville NC & we had a Harbor Freight and when my family and I moved to Whiteville do to work there was nothing like a Harbor Freight in Whiteville NC the closest was a Tractor supply so when I found out a Harbor Freight was coming I was very excited and happy! There is nothing I don’t like about HarborFreight and there not to many things they don’t carry! I really enjoy just going to the store and walking around and just to see the low low prices and to see all the items cause it will take u a few times of you going to see all they carry and to me the Whiteville store is a lot smaller than the store in Fayetteville NC

Bauer/ Atlas Tool Platform 👍. In general it’s a great place to shop for the DIY’r. I’ve invested in the Bauer and Atlas platforms and find they are both reliable and could be put up against the more expensive brands sold elsewhere. Just an observation for Atlas, being you have the 80v platform it wold be nice to see some sort of snow blower/snowbpaddel shovel added to the out door line of tools! You’d have no problem giving ECO/Toro a good run for the money. Think your missing the boat on that one. Keep up the good work Harbor Freight! Looking forward to see what’s ahead in your tool line up.

App. Need the app to be more compatible for iPad. And….. I paid for membership for 2 years. Where are the perks on large items. This used to be a place to go to to save money. Now, everything in power tools and some had tools are just as expensive. What’s the point here?! People are still gonna buy established brand names over Harbor freight branded names in power tools. Where is the savings here. Need to go back to what this store originally represented. I mean high end Hercules stuff looks nice. But I’m not paying $399 for a chop saw by that brand. I mean come on. Guys need to fix this. If you wanna offer quality that’s wonderful. But you gotta offer quality cheaper the the rest, just saying! 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

App is good. The app is only missing the product manual pdf link like you find in the browser. I like that if the store near you is out of stock they tell you which store has that item. Also wish the app could tell you what aisle the item you searched was in. Also, the app should have a link for lost or broken parts of the tools sold in the store. The app should also tell the customer what aisle the product is in to save time shopping. There should also be an option to order products that are sold out in your store. You could also put your payment info on the app and the cashier can scan it to pay for your order.

Please lower bits rates on searches. A field tech. I and I suspect others at job locations need faster search rates. Often at locations scattered around obviously I do not have access to fast Internet. in my searches I find that it just takes too much time. and calling to your locations which are understaffed I have a hard time getting answers about information that I should be able to pull up online in a reasonable amount of time. Not the people at the stores problem they have other duties This is not just your problem I find this to be a problem no matter what supply house, for my technical parts and equipment or my tools

Needs some tuning. I like the app if you know exactly what your looking for, however when you click on an item and try to go back you have to start all over. If you could make so you can click and read up on an item then if it’s not what you want, have a option or back button to go back to exactly where you was to keep looking and browsing similar items. Make it possible to purchase items from the app! There have been no updates to fix this same issue that’s been there since the app was created. This issue still has not been addressed and you still can’t purchase and pick up from store. Needs improvement asap.

Great Store, Great App. I resisted visiting Harbor Freight for the longest time because of the negative talk about the quality of their tools. I should’ve visited years ago! I still wouldn’t buy some of their store-brand power-tools, but for hammers, axes etc. this is the place! Great app too, the suggestions in the search bar often help me find what I’m ACTUALLY looking for instead of whatever name I think it’s called lol. I like having my “home store” saved too because it gives reasonably accurate info on what’s in stock and what isn’t. 👍👍

Harbor Freight mobile app. Harbor Freight’s mobile and web apps are helpful and provide useful, transparent review information. I’ve been purchasing HF products for about five years. On the occasions I’ve had problems with a tool or other product, HF has without exception honored their warranty. But I’ve found that HF tools are continuously being upgraded and the rate of failure is increasingly lower as time passes and additional pro-level (Hercules series) tools are added to the lineup. I appreciate that all reviews are posted and that items are easy to find and accurately represented online.

Tools & more. This may not be for everyone but if you like quality tools for less than you came to the right place. I always go to HF first before going to any tool supply house because what you will get here are tools that are backed by an incredible warranty. Remember, Milwaukee tools use to be sold at Harbor Freight. To me the great tools start here to get their name out and then they become very popular. Do what you want but I am stocking my garage with HF tools, especially if you are not a full on contractor, even if you are a full on contractor. The tools you purchase will last a lifetime and if it doesn’t, you didn’t break the bank doing so.

Basic app missing basic features. The app is great at categorizing items which makes it easy to find what you want. There is no login feature, so your app wishlist is not synched with your actual wishlist in your account. An annoying thing that happens is hitting the back button after viewing an item. This takes you to the top of the long list of items, so now you have to scroll all the way down to where you left off before viewing an item. The basic feature to scroll to the top of the page when you tap at the top of your phone doesn’t work. This would be useful when viewing long lists of items. An item’s aisle location would be helpful as well.

Love the App!!. A lot easier to quickly open the app when I have a tool in mind I want to look up to see if Harbor freight either has or what their prices on it. They’ve been coming out with a lot of new tools every week and I love it I’m a HarborFreight fan for life. Yes I may have to use their tool warrantee quite often because we all know they break easier than some of the other main major brands tools do but the power tools I have almost every one they have out and definitely paid a lot less than someone else buying Dewalt or Ridgid or even Ryobi nowadays.
