Network failure of app. After spending quite a bit of money to read a few books, in the middle of reading I received a network failure of app. Going to the home page my coins were also deleted. The app is no longer working even for the chapters that I have already unlocked. Do not download or purchase on this app unless you are content with possibly losing money and unable to finish books you’ve started or re-read ones that you have enjoyed.

GREAT!!!. I found iStory from a Facebook ad along with many other reading apps. Among all the apps that I downloaded this is by far my favorite. Before the update, I could simply just watch ads to access every chapter. This was a million times better than trying to wait days to rack up enough points just to read one chapter. After the update, I’m still able to watch 30 ads (I just play them while I’m working on something else) for points. I’m absolutely happy that the chapters don’t exceed over 20-25 points/coins, so I can read a lot with the points I received from watching ads. The only problem I would say I have is that the app freezes from time-to-time.

Good stories. I love the stories. Still getting used to the new system hoping it’s as good as getting to just watching adds but the stories are so addictive

Same story different app. I mean you can only get so far before you have to jump through hoops to get coins or buy them.

Great app. I’m really enjoying this platform so far. Even though the coins per chapter tend to be more expensive than other reading apps, there are plenty of daily opportunities to win coins. I recommend reading “The Dark Alpha’s Destined Mate.”

It’s ok. Just doing the review to get coins. The books are good lots of grammatical errors and if your a lit major these books will have you wanting to scream but if you can get past that you’ll love the story lines and plots

Good read so far except the darkness and mysterious nature of the Wynter I used to be able to scan through books fast with just watching videos I hate that this app has changed. I believe books and knowledge should be free I will not be paying for any of it. I understand watching a little video or add but I wish it had not changed I would have more feedback.

You have to pay a lot. I have paid $15 to get enough coins to read 15% of the book! That is OUTRAGEOUS! Do not download this app. You pay wayyyy more to read 10% of the boom when you can just buy a NEW BOOK for $20… And actually read the WHOLE THING. Yes, the books are great. But you have to CONSTANTLY pay. I wish they would sell you the book/story for one price and done. Not pay for every chapter.

This is probably the most expensive reading app on here. Chapters are super expensive and they’re not really that long and leave out a lot of information. You’d end up needing about 3,000 coins just to read a book, and paying 2.99 for 450 coins. I’d rather just buy a book. I thought Dreame app was expensive until I downloaded this one. Guess I’ll go back to that one.

Please bring back the free version with the ads. I know this is an upgrade but I like it better when you can look at an ad to unlock a chapter. I hope you guys reconsider on bringing it back.

Bad app, expensive and cheats you. I found this app through a Facebook add. At first I thought it was gonna be a great app, but I soon learned it was bad. As you move through the story the chapters get more expensive to buy, more than doubling in cost towards the end. It ended up costing me nearly $10 to read one story. I could’ve bought a book at Walmart way cheaper. In addition to that, at the end of the story they had four chapters that were duplicates of previous chapters or notes from the author. All as a way to cheat you out of coins. Terrible app. Would not recommend! I will go back to Kindle monthly subscription instead!

Easy novel app. Love the dark background and the suggestion stories once you read a certain book. Although it’s expensive, they compensate with daily rewards- not enough but still better than other apps that didn’t even give you a single bonus coin

Good Stories. It gets 5 stars because the stories that I have read have been good not too many errors. The downside is the ability to earn points is a slow process. And coins are expensive.

The books are amazing. I first found the app on Facebook and there was a story on their car fake it before daddy was really great I like that the stories move at a good motion it doesn’t drag the app is helpful finds new books to read and add to my list everyday

Choices. There seems to be a lot of good choices of books to read, I’ve only just started to use this website and so far I have not many complaints. It does seem like it takes a lot of coins to read a book though.

Books. I love how you have the chance to read a good portion of the book before you have to decide to either keep going or trying another book. For me it gives me the chance to fully look at the book, and see if it something I want invest in, so having the choice is nice.

Rip off. The stories aren’t bad, but they do need some editing. The amount of money you want for the coins and how many coins are required to unlock a chapter are ridiculous. On top of the money you pay to unlock a chapter you then still get ads every other time you move the words to continue reading. I don’t know what happens when you go VIP but that cost is also a rip off. People are better off using Kindle Unlimited.

Love the app. It has amazing stories all though I really loved when you just had to see an ad to keep reading and it wasn’t with coins.

False advertisement. This app was great when I first downloaded it. I read a couple books yes the adds could be annoying but it was a free place to read. But then without warning an update makes you purchase coins, a membership or go to a “bonus section” that doesn’t work half the time or give you enough to read anything. I had 3 chapters left in a book and now I can’t finish it. I get you need to make money but you should warn your following absolute crap. I wouldn’t bother they advertise as absolutely free reading not true!!

Great story.. Stream reading is very good. It looks like they have other great stories. Very disappointing though that when I downloaded the app, they don’t give you another chapter. Fact, they deleted a few of the paragraphs that I had already read in the ad before I downloaded the app.

Frustrated. I found a interesting book on Facebook that I read wanted to read, so I downloaded the app. This book was the only reason I downloaded the app in the first place. At first I couldn’t stop reading it (even bought coins). Then around chapters 31 it started leaving some of the story out. I figured that it would be just one chapter. NOPE!!! When I got to chapter 39 I finally gave up. I was so lost and had to stop reading it. I no longer had a clue what was going on in the story anymore. So unless the author re-edits the book and fixes all the missing information in all the chapters then others will run into the same problem. I would love to finish reading the story and not waste my money on unused coins.

Points. I give the stories good ratings but there are a lot of skips throughout the chapters. They have a lot of missing sentences so you sometimes lose important information . Then you aren’t given the bonus points you earn for the 5 star review, turning on notifications and verifying email that has no place to input your email. Also the click hardly ever works so you miss those points also

It’s good so far. So far I’ve like the books I’ve read. Just getting a teasing notification with a few sentences from the book makes me want to read.

Be better with directions. So far I’m enjoying the story I’m reading, but the app itself doesn’t provide directions on how to make the bonuses work. It’s too much trial and error. Maybe they’re hoping we’ll give up and buy coins rather than use the free version.

Membership Fraud. I used to love this app & I found it was cheaper to get one of the memberships to read anything I wanted. Over the last month I have had multiple times where it stops working & despite multiple emails & screenshots provided they won’t fix the issue. Also, they are extremely late at responding for assistance...sometimes 24+ hours to respond like a broken record asking for the same thing which has already been provided. Worst app support I’ve ever seen.

I love cheesy stories. So far enjoying the stories. The membership is a bit pricey but the stories I have looked at so far are well read. Way better than other apps. Plus they have supernatural stuff like werewolf’s as well!

Glitching. I dk if it’s just me but when I try to earn rewards the page won’t come up it’s just a black page sometimes it will take a minute but sometimes not at all. I’ve tried deleting the app and adding it again but nothing works. I will update when this is fixed because I really do like this ap. Btw only adding five stars so I can claim the bonus. Anything this I wrote the review gave it 5 stars and still nothing didn’t get the bonus.

Updated Version. The new version of this app practically screwed us over. To get a new chapter of a story, you have two options. You have to pay a crazy amount of coins, or you have to get a subscription. That’s basically a win win for them, because they get paid either way. I liked the old version better where you can either pay with coins, or you can watch an add to get that chapter. I don’t like this updated version.

It used to be great. When I first downloaded this app, the stories were decent and it was relatively easy to read through a whole novel, either by unlocking chapter with bonuses or watching an ad. Now though, I can never finish anything! I get halfway through a story and then I can no longer use bonuses, I have to use coins that I have to purchase. Let’s say each book averages about 110 chapters. You get through half with the freebies so you have 55 chapters left to read. Each chapter averages about 42 coins, so you are looking to spend a total 2310 coins to finish the story. It is $20 to buy 2300 coins. That is $20 to just finish a book and it still probably won’t be enough. The average paperback is about $15 new and at least then you get a complete story. The app used to give free passes after a person checked in for several days in a row. Yet now, it doesn’t offer that service and resets your check-ins after logging in on the app 7 days in a row. What incentive do I have to still use this app? The only reason that this app is not getting a one star review is that the caliber of the stories is pretty decent. Will any win a pulitzer or a nebula award? No. But for the most part, they are entertaining serials.

Great stories BUT the cost is insane. Yes, the stories are generally pretty good, BUT the cost to read them is outrageous. All ‘coins’ are paid for in US dollars and the price is ridiculous. One ‘novel’ cost me over $80au. Given there are spelling and grammatical errors as well, this is absurd. App is an absolute rip-off, unless you’re ok spending big, big $$$$ for average, unedited stories.

Membership is showing under purchases, but still shows ads & wants me to purchase & pay coins to read. Attempt to contact company but link doesn’t work. Feeling totally frauded & contacted Apple for a refund.

Expensive. As much as I love using this app, the chapters are expensive. 45 coins per chapter? That’s crazy talk. I love using the Dreame app as well and their chapters are half the price. Problems. They either won’t let you earn the coins per video watched at all, or they will let you watch a couple and then say error. Once you manage to complete most of the tasks including buying the coins, then they won’t let you get the bonus for sharing so you don’t get the big bonus. It’s all a dang scam!

Deleted stories. I got into a book and was up almost all night reading. I spent money for coins so I could read chapters without ads. The next morning I was looking forward to returning to the story. Only to find it was missing out of my library! When I clicked on “history” it was like I had not read any books. This is very frustrating!
