Great app, but needs polishing. The content the app offers is great. The biggest issue I have with it is that you can’t create an account. There’s no recently watched option within the app. It makes it irritating to have to search for the show you’re watching every time. You can chose the on demand option and scroll all the way down pass all the other shows that I don’t care at the moment. And you might find the show you’re watching. But every once in a while the show/movie will not show up in the on demand list. Please please please create a recently watched, or continue watching option. And make it posible to create an account, so people can watch their shows on multiple devices.

Not worth if you get premium, no vale la pena agarrar premium. I decided to pay premium service because of the extra stuff I can watch in comparison with the regular service but, that is it, just extra content because you still get lots of ads also you can not rewind or record anything, at least apple tv came up with a fair price at the beginning with no ads and control features, asl disney plus. Decidi agarrar el servicio premium porque puedo ver mas programas a comparación del servicio regular pero eso es todo, solo contenido extra porque a pesar que pagas el servicio tiene muchos ads y aparte no tiene funciones de control como regresar el programa o el show, no puedes grabar nada, cuando otras compañías salieron con su aplicación por lo menos tenias servicio de control y aprte no tienen ads. Por mas que no me quiera perder partidos de siertos equipos, no creo que valga mucho la pena.

Great app for Football. I think it’s a great app, you can get all sorts of football in Spanish language on it. But I have one major issue with this app and I think it’s very basic and could be fixed. I’m using AppleTV 4K set top box, there is literally no fast forward, rewind or pause and play. When you start a game that is on demand, you can not use any of those functions. In fact, they have recorded 15-19 minutes before the game starts and you have to sit there and watch the clock run down before the game starts (no fast forwarding through that wait time). That’s just unacceptable in this day in age of apps. That needs to be fixed ASAP. You use the website version of the app and you can use those options but on AppleTV 4K set top box, it’s not existent. If it wasn’t for that, the lack of use of those functions, I’d give this app 5 stars. I hope VIX can fix that. Really do.

Good but some suggestions. I really like this app. Has tons of good novelas for free. Lots of reviews are saying there’s too much ads but i don’t mind them they’re not too long and I understand there has to be ads for it to be free. The problem with this app is that there’s no search bar to search for the novelas or movies you want to watch or are watching. You have to look through all the sections to find them instead of searching. Another problem you should be able to have a watch list where you add what show you are watching or want to watch, i’m currently watching a novela and would like to be able to get to it through a list, I know you’re able to do that with movies but with shows you are only able to add episodes to a watch list not the whole show itself. There is also a continue watch section where something you’ve started appears where you left off, my only problem with this is that when watching an episode to a show and you play it from continue watching you are not able to get to the next episode through there, you have to exit and find the show and play the next episode yourself, it would be better is the next episode played on its own. Also i’ve been having a problem that when you play something from the continue watching and the next time you get and ad it doesn’t continue from the place it’s supposed to after the ad it starts to continue from the place it left at when you started it from the continue watching.

Takeover disappointing. Et me start off my saying I love all the variety of novelas, películas and new and old. But one of the most disappointing things has been there are no English subtitles. How can I share with my American husband my culture. Before purchasing Pantaya(which had English subtitles available) we were able to sit as a family and enjoy this app. Now I am a solo rider … barely. The app does have glitches on fire stick. Doesn’t always start you were you left off. Doesn’t recognized you may be signed into a phone or an iPad and are at a different location and have moved on to a different episode. I still love the app and all that it brings to us. Just needs more work.

Love/Hate relationship. Playing episodes one after the other is not an option unless you continuously are watching. Pausing the episode and going back to the main menu causes this and have to go back to the episode guide to pick the next episode, once there takes forever to get further down the episode guide, search bar would be appreciated. Once I pick an episode it plays automatically and gives a couple seconds before it starts. Episodes do not save, I start watching on firetv and resume on my phone and have to go and search for the episode again and try to figure out where I left watching it. There is a lot of commercials and I completely understand for them, but man they are excessive, for a free streaming app there shouldn’t be so much adds, in one add break there are from 5 to 7 adds, I start watching again from a break and in less than two minutes commercial break again or sometimes it can be less than a minute and back to commercials. On other free apps they have about three breaks in between with more to show/movie to watch. Again I get the ads, but i feel I watch more ads than the actual show I’m watching. .

Dissatisfied. This app is absolutely horrible! 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to I would be watching something & all of a sudden it’s stops! Saying it disconnected or something & when I try to get back to what I’m watching it goes back to the very beginning! It’s completely frustrating when I can’t watch something when I want to! This is seriously THE WORST stream app ever! Just because it’s a free streaming app doesn’t mean it’s should be crap! I debating on weather or not I want to even keep it because of it’s not going to work like it’s supposed why should o keep it and it’s taking up space on my phone! Absolutely disgraceful!

Excellent app but some issues. To be free this is best app ever. They have tons, literally tons of movies, novelas and tv shows. The issues: - Doesn’t have a search bar - it doesn’t keep record of the program you are watching, you have to go through the different sections and look for your tv show. - it doesn’t register the episode you are on, you have to remember, otherwise you are going to skip episodes or start playing something you already watched. So far, those are annoying issues I’ve found. Other than that it’s an excellent option for free tv.

It could be better .. Prende TV is good but needs improvements. There are way too many ads . I know the ads keep the app free but wow this is too much . I get the SAME ads over and over it’s very annoying . Every five minutes. No other free apps show this many ads, it makes watching shows unpleasant. Also it never keeps track of where I left off , it crashes and after playing the add it takes me back almost to the beginning of the episode . It would be nice if I could add the actual show to my watchlist , instead it adds only an episode so I need to browse for the show to find where I left off . If these things could get fixed the app would be great .

Love/ hate it. I loved this app! You can watch novelas and everything. But now I have an issue with the app. I have to now pay for certain novelas/ movies in order to finish my show completely. In my opinion, it is not fair at all!! Before this app, it started off free and you were able to watch and enjoy your show/ movie on this app. I don’t think it’s fair to have something free at first then charge and have trials after. I don’t understand. I would give this app a 5 star because it’s a great app and gives me all the shows I want to watch, but I’m giving it a 2 star. I gave it 2 star for, giving me hope that I was able to watch my shows as I did in the past..I’m happy you added more shows but again I’m not happy. Now your trying to make me pay me for something that was free before. I honestly feel teased. I hope this app changes in the close in the future changes it minds to make it free again.

Irritating. On firestick- freezes after taking so long to scroll down to episode 400 of a series and starts all over. Pleeeease add a shortcut maybe add pages for series instead of having to scroll down through hundreds of episodes… On every other platform it makes me watch ads, yes ads are normal but it jumps you back to 5 minutes from where you last stopped and makes you watch the ads all over again. Happens every single time. Doesn’t record episodes as watched or if you happen to not finish the episode and plan to rewatch from where you left off you better have plenty of time to watch all the ads over again. Wouldn’t mind paying for an app that actually worked as intended

It crashes most of the time. It offers air play but it’s always having bugs, and don’t even talk about using the app in Roku it crashes all the time!! It needs a lot of improvement, you guys just added more commercials than before but make no new adjustments to the app!!!! It’s really annoying having to watch a tv show and having to scroll down to the episode where you left at because it never saves your progress, it also needs a search button. The platform has so much variety , I think that it has great potential but you guys need to work A LOT on it.

Good streaming service, but….. I love the streaming service because I can watch some of the current novelas that are my favorites. However, there is still no app for TVs (at least not on mine yet) and every time my sister and I try watching on our laptops, the episodes won’t load. When we watch on our phones the episodes load perfectly fine but then we try on our laptops, and the episodes never load. Also, wish that once we got the Vix+ subscription all the novelas wouldn’t have ads. I would understand the novelas having ads if you don’t have the ViX+ subscription. But we have the subscription and still have to watch some novelas with ads.

Love it and hate it. Absolutely love this app and love all the content. You can’t find all the novelas listed here anywhere else, for free . For those reasons and more I love this app. However, the bad parts about this app is so irritating that sometimes I want to watch but thinking about all I have to do to find the series and episode I’m on is exhausting. There’s no search bar and you have to locate the series manually. But the worse part has to be that the app doesn’t keep record of what you’ve watch so you have to scroll and guess of keep a record on you own of where you’re at . It’s so frustrating. I don’t even care about the ads that constantly glitch and keeps sending you back to the beginning of the series. Adding a search option and a continue watching option would make this app complete.

The app should be structured better for $6.99 it’s too expensive for the way it’s acts.. It’s an “okay” app if you have it for free but it’s a terrible app to pay $6.99 for. It glitches all the time, they don’t have an option to “continue watching” once you’ve start a telenovela, it shows only once in a while otherwise you have to constantly look for the novela and trying to remember with off the 400 episodes you were watching a week ago 😤 it freezes halfway when watching anything. It also, logs me out sometimes or the novels goes silent without me pausing it. Also, many times I have relaunch the app because it keeps sending me back to menu after a few minutes of watching an episode. Overall, those glitches should be fixed.

About to cancel premium subscription. I enjoy using the app, but there are some major issues that need to be addressed. Despite paying for the premium subscription, I have encountered problems with ads randomly playing during content that should be ad-free. Sometimes I can watch episodes without interruptions, but then suddenly a flood of ads appears, which should not happen with a premium subscription. Additionally, the ads are excessively long and frustrating. Furthermore, there is a inconvenience when switching between devices, as I often find myself logged out when moving from my living room TV to my bedroom TV. It is an annoying inconvenience that disrupts my viewing experience. I also believe it would be beneficial to have a feature like a "my list" or a "watch later" option to help organize the content better. While some issues like the wish list are minor, the problem with ads is significant and makes me question the value of my premium subscription. I am considering canceling and exploring other options if these issues are not resolved.

Ok but it needs work. I really like the content and I’m even paying for the premium account. However, there a few issues. 1. When I’m watching a show and then turn off the phone and come back to the show, it doesn’t save the progress so have to start all over with the same show. 2. If I continue to watch a show una different tv and want to continue watching the show, it does not appear on the recent shows. 3. Sometimes the app will restart on its own and it’s kind of annoying to have to wait for the app to restart and sometimes it takes for ever to load.

You’ve earned two more stars since my initial review 🙂. Updated review: Using the Apple box, I can finally screen mirror! Thank you! ViX and AppleTV is practically seamless! My suggestions: 1) the guide needs to be improved (the one on BLIM was fabulous and allowed us to see a week ahead. 2) I’d love for Lucero (the most awarded Spanish language actress—including an Emmy) to have her own channel but thankful I can access almost all her novelas. 3) being able to add shows to a “Mi Lista” would be great. 4) keep the scheduling of shows consistent, please. One week a show starts on Monday at 7 and the next week, the same show doesn’t start until 9:20, 5) a heads up when an “on demand” show is going to disappear (you try explaining to your 84 year old abuela why she cannot finish watching “Los Parientes Pobres). Glad to add 2 stars and thank you for the email address where I can send the above suggestions.

VIX is good but needs a few fixes. I really love this app. I’m on the premium VIX which means no commercials and I watch daily but there are definitely a few things they need to work out. Your episodes don’t save and then you have to figure out which is the last one you watched. When you figure that out you have to start from the beginning and adjust manually where you think you left off. Also I would say you can’t see the entire title description which is super weird. I’d like to be able to read the entire description of whatever I’m watching. Next there’s a little glitch where sometimes the content repeats in two-three second increments, it’s not all the time but it happens at least once show so that’s annoying. Only other ask would be to load novela episodes faster so I won’t be behind a day from the rest of the world! Other than that so many great shows to choose from. Can’t wait to see a tidying up of little bugs here and there. Def a fan!

A bit glitchy but lots of novelas. Lots of free content in one app. Love all the movies and novelas but there are some thing that can be improved on the app. I paid for the plus version on roku so I can’t watch the plus stuff on my phone app. Would be nice if there was a Que to add movies or shows I’d like to watch later instead of having to look/ search through all of the content again to find it. And it would also be nice to be able to know where I left off. Sometimes some of the shows will show where you left off other don’t so I have to guess or rewatch part of an episode to figure out where I’m at which is a waste of time. Also when it does show me where it is, it will finish the episode I am on then start over from the very first episode instead of going to the next episode. Would watch more if they can fix these glitches and upgrade the app to add a Que.

Needs a LOT of work.. It has a good amount of shows and novelas and even movies, but omg the amount of ads! I understand there has to be ads in order to keep it free but sometimes i watch like 8 ads and i skip a little bit and i have to watch another 4-6 ads. It also brings me to how it’s constantly crashing and lagging and theres days that i can’t even watch anything bc an error page pops up. I know it’s not my wifi or date or my phone. If i exit in the middle of a movie and/or episode it will take me to the beginning or several episodes back. There’s still a lot more negative than positive on my end. Will keep trying it until a find a more decent app.

It’s ok. I enjoy the selection of all the old novelas I grew up watching. However this app has so many technical glitches it’s ridiculous. If it was free ok understandable but I pay for the monthly membership so it’s beyond frustrating. I almost always have to remember where I left off and select the episode because even tho it’s on my keep watching list it’ll play episode one. Or it continues on the episode I left off on but with the audio of the first episode. Among other little annoying technical glitches. Disfruto la selección de todas las novelas antiguas que crecí viendo. Sin embargo, esta aplicación tiene tantos fallos técnicos que frustra a cualquiera. Si fuera gratis, es comprensible, pero pago la membresía mensual, por lo que es más que frustrante. Casi siempre tengo que recordar dónde lo dejé y seleccionar el episodio porque aunque esté en mi lista de seguir viendo, reproducirá el episodio uno. O continúa en el episodio que dejé pero con el audio del primer episodio. Entre otros pequeños fallos técnicos molestos.

Love/hate this app. I absolutely love the content this app has to offer! I just downloaded it a few days ago and I’ve even told friends and family that have never heard of it to download it, if only for the nostalgia. I don’t mind the countless commercials, typically between 6-8 and at least 30 seconds long, what I can’t stand is that after watching an episode, it won’t automatically play the next. You have to go back to the on demand page, scroll down to the novela you’re watching, then scroll down to the next episode. Some of these novelas have 60-70 episodes, it’ll be pretty irritating at that point to have to scroll through so many episodes just to watch the next. That feature definitely needs to be fixed!

Great content but a bit annoying.. This app has great entertaining content. I signed up for the monthly subscription but I’m contemplating if keeping it. The subtitle keeps turning on, on its own after each episode. I have to turn it off in the beginning of each episode and then it turns on again on the next episode. I wish there was a way to completely disable it but this app lacks settings to help personalize how you want to view things. It might be a minor thing but it’s distracting when you’re watching a show you like and for a paid subscription you should be able to have settings that control how you want to view things.

Good but app needs further updates. I really like this app (I view it on my Roku TV and Ipad) but it’s very difficult to see what content is actually available. For instance, on the “on demand” tab and when you click on teleovelas you will not see all there is available. As you scroll on “most viewed telenovelas” after a few scrolls you see a different telenovela listed that does not correspond to the image on the screen. One prime example is the telenovela “Amorcito Corazón” that is nowhere to be seen on the app but that you can see it if you click on another telenovela and seek similar programs. A search button and a better cataloging of the programs is much needed and especially once we get a paying tier.

Novelas 🤍. I’m rating this app a 5-Star because it has many novelas I love.. It’s so hard to find the old novelas which I grew up with.. there are still so many more they should add, like “Locura de Amor” “Agujetas de Color de Rosa” “Preciosa”!! The app I wish it was much easier to use. I can’t add the title to my list, it only adds the episode. On the phone, if I stop it midway, it won’t go back to where I stopped or if it does, once it goes to the ads it will repeat from where I started viewing. Another thing, the app doesn’t link from the phone app to the TV app.

Good but needs improvement. My family and I are futbol obsessed so we definitely enjoy being able to stream a lot of games and I don’t mind paying for VIX+ but there’s lots of improvements that could be made. First of, please make it possible to add multiple profiles! This should be a basic thing. Second of all, I tried to go down memory lane and watch some old school novelas and once I started I could not go back to the original screen to see the episodes. It’s annoying to not have a way to go to the show’s main screen to scroll through episodes. I had to go home and search for the novela all over. It made me stop watching because I was so frustrated. Third, if I’m paying for VIX+ why do I have to see so many ads? I understand during live events like soccer matches and the live channels but there is no reason why archived series should have ads. It makes it annoying. I definitely enjoy having access to a lot of “old school” shows but I wish you would have more. How about some El Chavo or those old school series like you had before the name change? I loved watching El Doctor Candido Perez! Add more old novelas too please! Those were awesome! All in all I think it’s a good app but definitely needs more improvement. Like I said I don’t mind paying for it but please keep updating.

It’s a weird relationship.. I love how there are tons and tons of novelas to watch. And lots of other things to watch. However, it is SO FRUSTRATING THAT EVEN THOUGH you pay the subscription, you still have to watch ads, to make things worse there’s so many ads out there but they choose to play THE SAME AD about the prop 26&27 I already memorized every single word. I think the app still needs some updates because it crashes often, it has a hard time keeping track of the “continue watching” feature, I also think it needs a “skip ad” option. And PLEASE SWITCH ADS AROUND BECAUSE TO WATCH THE SAME AD OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER IS JUST AS ANNOYING AND IRRITATING.

I’m giving it 5 stars because it has all the telenovelas. I love this app like I seriously do, it has some things here and there that can be a bit irritating like for example an add will play and it will sometimes play continuously and after it’s done it’ll send you back to the part before the first ad was going to start making it start continuously, it won’t record episodes already played, like for example I watched episode one and it’ll show I watched it but episode 2 and other it won’t record as watched, it’ll freeze and kick me out of the app on my phone and TV, on my TV it’ll turn my TV off I have a Roku TV, it’ll be slow at times and it won’t work one day and the next it will, those are the issues I run into BUTTT I love this app, I love novelas, I can’t find a free novela anywhere but here so I can deal with the small details! I recommend this all 100% even with its issues.

Needs Help. This app is super glitchy. Orientation is off. When I try to flip it for wide screen sometimes it works others it shut off and I have to start all over. This wouldn’t be that big of a problem but it takes forever to open. There is no search option. So if I’m watching a novela on demand I have to go to on demand then find novelas scroll through them all then fond mine. Again this takes forever. Then once all episodes load I scrolls through to find the one I’m on. You need a drop down menu here. Then I select Ku episode. Sometimes it remembers where I left off others not. Then horizontal sometimes doesn’t work and Im back at zero again and must start over. Please work on search options and drop down menus. Also my lom had fire tablet and it doesn’t have the app on that tablet. Dry frustrating.

Was so excited but…. I was so happy catching up on one of the shows I’ve been looking for however, when I need a customer service they sucked nothing was resolved with my issues after I pay for premium on two different accounts and I couldn’t reset my password. They told me it was yahoo was the problem and to delete one I did everything they told me to do still can’t watch I was charged twice for premium once for football, which I did not want, and it was supposed to be included for 699. Needless to say I have deleted the app and I will not be finishing this show. I guess I’ll just be happy with a 30 episodes I watched.

Amazing show selections, but the mobile and tv app needs work!. Love this app and all that’s on there, but it gets frustrating because it never shows where I leave off. I always have to search for the show and scroll through to select the episode I left off on. Sometimes I’m lucky and starts where I left off, but for the most part, it takes me back to episode 1. When watching on the tv app, I have to exit out of the show and manually go to the next episode after the first episode I watch that day because it’ll jump right back to the 1st episode rather than continuing onto the next. After that, it continues to the next one without me having to select the episode myself. It gets really frustrating, especially when I am paying for no ads and am not use to having to remember where I left off. It also doesn’t let me skip some intros. Hopefully these issues get fixed soon because it makes me want to cancel my subscription as soon as I finish my mom and I’s shows. It would also be nice to be able to set up profiles like other streaming devices.

I don’t love it like I did before. Let me start out with saying I love this apps content. It has so much nostalgia with watching telenovelas from my childhood. I enjoyed this app because its free and it has a few ads. No big deal, the ads aren’t a problem. What is a problem however is as of recent the ads have been extremely long. Like 5-6 minutes of ads while watching a novela. Its making it difficult to want to come back and use the app at all. It feels like its more ads than show as some points. Like i said, ads are not a problem but when im in the middle of a show its frustrating to have these ads going for a span of 5+ minutes at a time. I hope this gets addressed.

Good content but App needs work. Honestly, I love the content but the app is horrible. It glitches so much and kicks me out. Then when I go back to my episode it takes me somewhere else like it has another episode playing. At times literally takes me 5 minutes to get to where I was at. I got so annoyed with it on my television that I downloaded the app on my phone thought it would solve my problems. Wrong! I couldn’t watch the episode I wanted because it didn’t even show up. My understanding is I had to watch the series from the beginning to get to the episode I wanted. That is ridiculous! Plus, quality is not great. Please fix this the streaming app has all the content to be great but tech issues get in the way for me to love this.

Too many ads. There’s way too many ads and they come on too frequently like every 5 minutes. And the worse part is that there’s 5-8 ads per break which is too much and some of them are a minute long. I got excited to get this app but the ads make it too difficult too watch and annoying. A few every once in a while would be ok since it’s a free app, but a bunch of them every few minutes is ridiculous so I’m getting rid of it. Also, another inconvenience is that I was almost done watching an episode and it didn’t save my progress when I went back to finish it. And of course you have to sit through a bunch of ads to get to the spot you were in. Oh and there’s no way to search for a specific title either. Not worth it.

Loving it so far but hoping for a couple minor updates. I was really saddened to see Pantaya go, but I am glad that it was folded into VIX. I appreciate that I can finally have one platform for all of my favorite Spanish language apps and the selection is great. I am hoping that they might make a few updates. First, the ability to create a queue/watchlist like other streaming platforms have would be great. The second, though not a deal breaker, is offering subtitles/captions in English. I grew up a receptive bilingual, meaning that I can understand, reads and even write in Spanish, but speaking it has been a much harder journey. Watching movies and television with subtitles has been proven to be incredibly helpful for language acquisition. It would be great for anyone interested in learning or trying to reclaim Spanish (or likewise, Spanish speakers hoping to practice English). Again, not a deal breaker, but definitely a wishlist item for the future.

Great selectio, but…. I really enjoy the selection of movies, series, novelas and so on. I think there is room for major improvement in the fuctionality though. These are few things I think could improve. 1. A continue watching list that sticks: There is a currently watching list but if you start watching something else, whatever you were watching previously disappears from this list. And only access those currently watcing movies or episodes by searching for whatever it is that you left off on. 2. Being able to select different episodes a lot easier. 3. There is no button to choose to restart the episode from the beginning. I have to sit there and keep pushing the “rewind” button until I get to the beginning. 4. When an episode ends, i think the “next episode” button should pop up sooner. But again, good selection. Keep up on the selection. 👍🏽

Me Tv. This is the worst app and they try to charge for watching this piece of garbage, and if you call to complain; they even make it harder for you to watch it’s contents, they also charge you like if they are showing you the best there’s on tv or movies or docs but they are only mafia specially that they come from Televisa which is Mexico country dominant tv company and they are always doing bad, not good things for people specially poor people moreover; they became partners with Univision the Spanish Tv company which also descrimites even their own Spanish people bc they are managed by Cubans, Puerto Ricans Venezuelans they are all together rel mafia guys I gave them many opportunities they even played with my programs like run them and cut them off in the middle of me watching . Right now their last mafia kind of movement is that they are offering one year free subscription if you get TMobil internet for your home but they lied bc it’s one year and then later they tell you it’s not for our special programs , hahahaa always mafia and more mafia trying to get your hard earned money. I’m not paying not one more pennie for this garbage!!!

Inaccurate episode list. Recently got this app for my non-speaking English mom and we love the app. One thing we noticed that while looking at episode lists they are not accurate and are missing a lot of episodes at the end. For example. Episode lis 1 to 20 ends in episode 10, Episode list 20 to 40 goes from 11 to 20, Episode list 40 to 60 starts in 21 and ends in 30 and so forth. We are either missing half of the total episodes or the lists are actually incorrectly labeled with the # of episodes per list. This is in the novela “Por ella soy Eva” So far this is the only thing I have seen. But otherwise I like the app. Don’t mind the commercials since the app is free.

5 Star Review with a little feedback. I really enjoy the service. It does provide a huge amount of content. I would say that there is no separation between being on the free vs + subscription in regards of how the app operates. There is also no “my list” option to create your own list of shows/novelas you watch. The other thing I have had a huge problem w/ is the search option, I can search “Que le pasa” and the novela I am looking for will not appear, but a bunch of other programs will. If I write “Que le pasa a” the novela appears (Que le pasa a mi familia), but if I type “Que le pasa a mi” the novela does not appear. Hope they can figure out a fix for the issues above. Great app/content that just needs a little ironing out. Maybe try Pantaya’s interface, they have a very user friendly one.

DO NOT PAID FOR PREMIUM. I paid for premium and still got ads! I reached out to customer service and they didn’t know why I was getting ads, they took like 30 mins checking and asking for random info and screenshots of my account and the resolution was delete cookies, sign out, delete app, reinstall app, sign in, watch something and see if you get apps and I was like “are you serious? I paid for you to get rid of ads for me? Why do I need to do all this extra steps for something so basic.. The app it’s terribly configured, really slow and you can tell they just rushed into creating this but it lacks of basic functionality. It has good content so if you really want this go ahead but I wouldn’t recommend paying for it.

Ads / anunciós. I think there’s to much ads like in my case every time I get 8/8 ads at the same time and I think it’s too much and it’s stressful because I can’t watch my novela or movie without ads or less ads I love how it has my favorites novelas but while I’m watch every 3 minutes there’s ads like 8 max or more sometimes but I wish there would be less ads like a least two and that’s it I just don’t like ads it’s so annoying I recommend to fix that and I don’t know why it has to much ads I hope you guys read this and so you guys fix it.

False advertising. I just finished having the most ridiculous conversation with the support team.. The only reason why I got the premium service is because they advertised All the games from la liga mx are broadcast through them in Mexico and USA and so far I haven’t been able to watch my team play not even once. First of all.. they don’t give you a phone number, only chat or email.. the automated support sent me information that confirmed that they show all the games but when I requested to chat with a real person the Lady told me that not all the games are included I my area. They didn’t offer a solution after they took my money for the year I payed for. They gave me a file number but they said they won’t do anything about just document it. They say sorry many many times but they don’t care to fix the problem and they don’t accept that what they offer is not what they provide. They are happy to take your money and let you down.

Love the app, hate how it’s been developed. I love the app! Has so many of my fave novelas. Huge disappointment though that paying for a subscription for no ads you still have to watch some with some novelas which i get but also don’t get, because sometimes it’s 1-2 which I don’t mind but when you add 5+ are you kidding? Why am I paying a monthly sub when I get the same Amt of ads as someone who watches for free?. The app sometimes signs me out of my Apple TV. And when watching on there it continuously skips episodes. Ex. I’m watching episode 40 then it skips 41 and plays 42. Does this every time I watch on my Apple TV. Very annoying because when I go back it to play 42 it adds an extra ad. I often lose track of what episode I’m at because it doesn’t mark episodes as watched all the time. Sometimes they are sometimes they’re not. Very unreliable. Crashes a lot. Please do something about the Ads!!! I don’t mind 1/2 per episode but please make it so people who pay don’t get as many ads.

I wish there was a captions for other languages. I am part of the Latino community but I do not speak Spanish and I would totally love to watch novellas but I can’t do to the language barrier. I feel that this app could get tons more users if it had closed captions for languages like Spanish, Portuguese, English, etc. But because of this I cannot make use of this app, however, that does not change the fact that it is a great app for Spanish speakers to watch novellas and other shows that you can’t find on bigger services or even Univision Now. Once again great app could be even better.

It keeps kicking me out!!!. I have recently updated the app from Prende Tv and I can say I’m disappointed. I have ViX in my Roku and my phone. I hate that since yesterday’s update the app on the Roku keeps kicking me out. I’m watching a show and it just kicks me off and it’s so annoying that I have to go back in and scroll through all the on demand line up and start all over each and every time. I doesn’t have a serch bar and it doesn’t have the continue watching option which Prende Tv did have. Also it needs to be able to connect to AirPlay I’ve been trying to airplay to my LG smart tv and it just shows it loading and never does. Since the app is not available on the LG smart Tv which is another disappointment. I think this app needs a lot of work still to make it five stars. The line up is great but the streaming itself lacks so much. I believe that Prende Tv was better before it became ViX.

Mixed feelings about the app. I never write reviews but I am taking the time now because I want to give my constructive criticism. The app is a great concept and I see potential. But at this point I am frustrated with all the little bugs, it crashes while on Apple AirPlay and closes on its own, it also closes when moving into a new episode and it will not even keep track of where I left off everytime I close it or after it crashes. The “continue” feature doesn’t work properly, it doesn’t update. I am hooked on a show and love it while it’s playing but then it takes me back to scenes I already watched after commercials and a “search” feature would be great. I hope with every update these things get fixed. Because I really want to see my novelas 😉

I like the app it has a lot of novelas and I enjoy watching them but I think. Playing episodes one after the other is not an option unless you continuously are watching. Pausing the episode and going back to the main menu causes this and have to go back to the episode guide to pick the next episode, once there takes forever to get further down the episode guide, search bar would be appreciated. Once I pick an episode it plays automatically and gives a couple seconds before it starts. Episodes do not save, I start watching on firetv and resume on my phone and have to go and search for the episode again and try to figure out where I left watching it.

Too many commercials. Best app for Spanish channels & on demand telenovela viewing. Commercials for on demand r sometimes 5 minutes apart but short in some cases. Constant commercials breaks & you will see the same 3 commercials 3 times during one commercial break. Does not keep your place if you r not able to watch the entire episode. On demand viewing starts with lengthy commercial break. If you try fast forward to the correct spot where you left off, you will get another commercial break every time you stop as you search for the right location where you stopped viewing video. You can spend 10 minutes just trying to find the point where you left off and watching commercials. This is frustrating and disappointing

Great content but too many bugs that causeIt to freeze every time before an ad plays.. The amount of ads isn’t a problem for me , but having to completely close the application and restart the entire episode everytime an ad comes up because it glitches every single time and just stays frozen is frustrating! It really makes me think twice before watching something on here because I can’t even recommend or show something to family or friends because it takes an hour to watch a 40 min episode from all the glitching it does. Please fix this issue! The app has great content the only thing not making it great is all the bugs that cause it to freeze every time an ad comes up.

Has minor issues. The app has lots of telenovelas which I love but the thing is the app works great on my cellphone device but not on my smart tv. It keeps saying that the service is interrupted due to internet connection which I don’t really understand because I use the same wifi on my mobile device and tv but for some reason it won’t ever work on my tv. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling over and over but I gave up on it . Other than that I would have rated 5 stars

Love it but…. I love the content, I don’t mind the same commercials, but what I truly hate is it kicks me out of every episode after it is done and doesn’t mark the episode as watched so it takes me to the same episode. When you add a show to the list, it adds the episode not the program. Not ideal when you are watching a soap. It also does not have a search option so I must look for the show then find the episode i was on. Also, I use both the roku and appletv and it has the same issues so it’s definitely the app.

Are commercials necessary for paid subscription?. Almost all novelas televisa has made seem to be available on here, and that is overwhelmingly awesome! What’s unfortunate though is that even with Vix+ paid subscription, most of the content still has commercials. Then there’s the fact that we can create a watch list either. Hopefully this can be changed in the future

Fake Advertising. Fake advertising!Content is not what shown on the App Store as it only allows to watch some shows but not all Mexican shows. Any time you try to look up famous TV series it say shows “not shown in your country”. So why Am I paying for fake advertising and when you do find something you want to watch it never keeps record/memory where you left off. So it makes you start all over again or go back to episodes & look up the episode you left off. Other than it work as a video player not much

I love novelas. Hi! Love the variety you can choose from. The only thing that bugs me is that the subtitles are only available in Spanish. I think if you expanded your horizons and started hiring people who could translate them into many different languages you’d get more non-Spanish speaking people downloading it and keeping it. I love a lot of these shows but there was no translation for my language. I tried my best to follow along but sadly I couldn’t:( Just something to think about:) English subtitles would be a good place to start!

It’s okay but can improve. I wish this app had a option to crate an account so you can add your favorites and watch them with out losing where you stayed. Also I wish that you could keep watching shows with out skipping an episode, for example watching episode 2 and it place episode 4 instead of 3. Amazing Customer service,. Nextflix could never! Compare to this. I am a crazy rebelde fan! And I was watching the entire thing. I was in the middle of the series when all of the sudden the episodes were gone. I emailed thinking that no one would reply since it was a free app! Needs serious improvements. To the developers of this app. The potential is huge because truly the content is amazing. My big issue as a subscriber to the premium vixplus experience is that the application is filled with bugs. It doesn’t seem to remember where you left an episode, will restart the same episode once you are done watching. When you have a paying option you also need to deliver not only in content but in quality of the application in itself. I am giving it 3 stars because I think it could be much better.

Terrible customer service bots.. Since pantaya merged with ViX, I haven’t been able to log into my account. I’ve been trying over and over again to log into my account with the instructions they gave me without any luck. I got a hold of a representative on chat, but they weren’t able to help as well. She told me my account might not be in their system yet, and to try again later. I’ve been locked out of my account for over a month now. There’s no actual customer service department to be able to talk to a live individual. I’ve been a customer of pantaya for a few years now, but don’t think I’ll renew my subscription in July. That is if I’m ever able to get into my account.

Love app, BUT... I loooove this app because all of the amazing content it’s got. I don’t even mind the ads. Howeveeeeer, I WISH it would show where you left of on the “ON DEMAND” section when you come back to watch. More times than not, it shows the saaaaame episode you have already watched, it does not update. So even if you’re watching a series and you know what you watched last, it’s annoying to have to go back and look for the episode. I hope they fix it so it can update on its own. Just like every other streaming app out there.

Worst streaming app should be free!!!. This app has got to be the worst TV streaming apps ever. Apart from the fact that you have to pay to watch the games you want to watch and after you do for it to not work or ever stop loading! Terrible! There customer support is also the worst to have to deal with, won’t help you unless you do all the work for them!!! Like really you need me to test my internet speed and send you the information! Love/hate. I love all the hispanic content and novelas. New series and old novelas are amazing. I pay for the app but idk if its worth it atp lol. The app cant NEVER save the episode and min you left off!! Never! I have to be searching thru episodes and mins to find where i left off. A lot of the times i give up and watch a random episode butvl that shouldnt he a problem in 2022!!! Very bad app. I pay $6.99 to watch the champions league, the game already started and I still watching Toyota ads 2 minutes later started playing the video streaming and obviously wasn’t live any more can’t update to live event, so decide to cancel just moments after pay the subscription , and stay with paramount + no the same emotions but a least I watch live games .too bad can’t enjoy ,las noches mágicas de la Champions narradas por el señor Luis Omar Tapia,please univision do something with this app fixed, hear the people we are paying for the app and we need better results,2 minutes delay is too much on live events like the champions league or any other sports transmission

Needs fixing but great app.. I love the app because of the novelas. My mom loves it. The problem is that the app on phone and TV glitches a lot. Sometimes it just spins and doesn’t open, and it’s not the wifi. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t open up all the shows. It just goes black screen loading then takes me back to the main screen. Another thing is it should not skip episode when I select to watch my last episode. I have to keep up what episode I watch last. Sometimes I have to restart the app or even tv to get it to work. That should not happened.

Crashes or doesn’t load. Paying for a subscription and the app is constantly crashing or not loading. Sometimes it just stops responding when I select PIP and switch between pages. The same occurs with the TV app while watching a live match or show. And before you ask, yes, I check for updates daily. Hoping a solution is pushed out to fix all these issues. In my opinion the services should’ve remained free since paying a monthly fee doesn’t have much advantages (Some novelas still have ads) and such poorly developed app that doesn’t get the updates it needs to function.

Great but needs a few things. This app is amazing, has novelas that I watched when I was little. Brings back so many memories. A few things I wished this app has, definitely wish it had English subtitles and hopefully they’ll add it in the future. I also hope they will add a list for you to add the shows you want to watch. To add profiles, my mom also watches the same novelas and it makes me lose track of where I last watch.

I try to watch my novela and make it small to be on other apps and it stops every 5 minutes and I have to restart the whole thing and watch the adds once again and it’s getting annoying I don’t mind the adds but I get annoyed that i get logged out and rewatch it again and again a lot of frustration other than that I love it

Always having connectivity problems. I don’t know how many times a day I encounter their black screen and “sorry for the inconvenience we are having difficulties. Try Again later.” I could be on my tablet and accidentally touch the side and the screen goes black, I lose the spot where I was. Forwarding is a mess. I am paying for the plus version and should be able to fast forward something or back track it. Really considering canceling. Not worth having an streaming service that works half of the time.

Worst app ever. The app is poorly designed. Once you start watching an episode you have to finish it or else it becomes impossible to finish it at another time due to it glitching and kicking you out. If you exit out by mistake it also has the same problems I mentioned. I wouldn’t mind paying for a subscription were I wouldn’t have to watch ads but even the Vix+ version is said to have ads so what’s the point? Once I’m done watching the 30 episodes left on my show I won’t be using this app again. I hope they hire better developers and improve this app.

This app is amazing but with one small issue I encounter. For some reason whenever I cast ViX on my tv it’s has forced closed captions on which is not a huge deal but I would love to be able to turn them off. Constructive review for improvement. I have watched some movies here, so I’ll say it has potential. Although the UX is not user friendly at all. I’ll mention some things should be improved: 1. There is no search bar 2. The “Mi Lista” does not saves movies you choose, instead saves the category the movie is on. 3. Once you choose a movie to watch the volume is too low even if the volume on my device is over half of it. But when the adds are playing they are way too high so I have to lower the volume. 4. Once you are watching a movie on the Apple TV the controls are not user friendly neither. If you want to pause the movie you have to look for the controls, same for the 10 seconds back or forward. 5. If you go back to main menu once you started to watch a movie and then decide to continue watching that movie it starts all over again instead of continuing where you left off. This review will continue once I find out more about this new app....

ViX+. I started loving it I have other apps too watch novelas but this one has way more then my other apps the only thing is I have the free trial but I only Can se so many episodes and it won’t show more then 10 only episodes if I knew only if is because I have the free trial or because it don’t let you watch more episodes only what is there is confusing that’s the experience I have so far if they could fix that I would definitely give a 5 stars but if that’s the only episodes ViX provide then I will definitely will have to cancel my suscripción

Love. I love how it’s free but there’s to much add and I don’t mind them since it’s free but what I head it that when the ad is over it claims that “ my wifi is bad” and then my add re stars again and I need to watch the whole ad too then sometimes they restart my chapter and when I try to move it where I was to keep watching they make me see the add again and right now I’m trying to watch the novels and they claim my wifi is wrong once my ad is over and I already refresh my feed 3 times and they send me back to the same ad

I want to love this app but…. It’s so great have all so many novelas and hispanic shows in one place. The app need a search bar or to organize their shows in alphabetical order. It’s frustrating having to click through other shows to get to the one you’re searching for. I just spent 20 minutes trying to locate my show and after finally finding it and clicking play it kicked me out.

Great app for Novelas but too many ADS. I love the quality of the novelas on the app even on the older ones (pre 2000). The problem I have is there are too many ads. I appreciate that the service is free but the ads come up way too often. I would prefer for them to come up less frequently even if it means it’s a longer ad. Feedback: Please offer a pay option to remove the ads. I don’t care if it’s a monthly fee or annual fee or one time fee but I would be a happy paying customer to have this option.

Love it, BUT……. I love this app, I love watching all my favorite childhood novelas ! But there’s soooo many ads, is there one where I can just pay not to see ads ? I rather watch my novela than watch 30min of ads on my lunch break ! But other than that I love this app and wish there can be something done with the ads. Multiple User Support. It is 2022 and it is a CRIME that this app didn’t launch with Multiple profile support. How are you going to try and take on the likes of Netflix, HBOmax, Disney+ and not have something that’s standard like multiple user as well as a “My List” to keep track of all the shows/ movies that you’d like to watch?! I will give them credit for having a way to remove something from your watchlist. Well done on that front.

Ads On Vix premier why?. Hello, so I have a question I am a big football and soccer fan. That’s why I come to vix don’t care about the series, but why do they have to still include ads on soccer matches every single one from the champions league Liga MX Sirius, a except for the free one yes like Zona Tudn why their ads on the Premier on match is not even half time or after the match why during the match which means that they’re going to miss see the goal ?? I like the right, but I’m disappointing I wanna response

A Bit Buggy. As much as I love the content available on this app I just wish it would randomly stop logging me out. I’ve come across this issue on both Apple TV and Roku. Secondly, it’s really frustrating having to share one profile for multiple family members in one household, most streaming services have this feature available day one of launch. It’s been months and this feature has yet to be launched. Hope to be able to change my rating in the future.

Ads every 4 minutes & needs more platforms. I like the content so far, I expect more classic Novelas to be added. But the On Demand novelas have way too many ads, way more breaks than the over the air novelas. I don’t mind ads, that’s how revenue is made but put ads in the actual app or something like Facebook ads on the Facebook or twitter ads. There are too much ads and ruin the immersion with ads every 4 or 5 minutes. Or have a paid subscription to get rid of them. Also, Vix needs to be on more platforms like consoles, smartTVs. No body enjoys watching tv on a tiny phone screen.

Accessibility options. I was so thrilled to see the new streaming service providing the old and new novelas and series I could watch free of charge. I enjoyed them until you took off the closed captioning options. I wasn’t happy because I needed closed captioning to learn Spanish language. You need to consider the access to closed captioning for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people who fluent in Spanish (regional or country) sign languages. Please put the closed captioning options back. Problems!. Please avoid this app at all costs if you’re thinking about joining ViX +. I canceled over a month ago and they’re still trying to charge me. I contacted customer service and they’re refusing to cancel whatever is pending. I sent them screenshots and video as proof and they’re denying everything. If this continues I will have to take it on my own hands. Por favor no agarren su subscription de VIX +. Yo cancele hace mas de un mes y ah un así me están cobrando. Nome dejan cerrar mi cuenta! Ya contacté ah customer service y nome quieren ayudar. Lo que les interesa es estar robando el dinero de uno!! Love it. I love this app so much, I watch it everyday in my life. I miss all the shows I used to watch when I was small. I was so excited to download this app to watch my shows I haven’t seen in a long time. The only thing I don’t like is there’s no English subtitles for my daughter who doesn’t know any Spanish. I would love if the app would put English subtitles for my daughter or for everyone who would like them too. But I love the app so much and I think more people should download this app. All I want to recommend for this app is English subtitles for everyone who doesn’t know Spanish. My daughter only watched the telenovela shows because it was on Netflix with English subtitles. It got token off Netflix so that’s why I recommend putting English subtitles. Thank you!

Poor functionality. This app has a lot of potential, expansive library of Spanish language content. However, it is frustrating to pay for ViX Plus and not have basic functionality other streaming services provide, such as creating a list of your shows. Also, I have to keep track of what show, episode, and time I leave off at because when I log back into the app, you cannot pick up where you left off, it prompts you to begin the show from the first episode. I will be cancelling this subscription if these features aren’t added soon.

GOOD but could be better. This has great tv novels and a great app to watch things in Spanish. It does have ads, I have no problem with that. BUT when your watching something it now says “continue watching” but that glitches out its not on the episode im currently on(thats needs to be fixed.) so i have to go and idividually find the episode. ALSO you cant search up things by the title. Needs some improvements. Still a great app to watch things so i only give it 4 stars. ☺️👍🏻

Great just minor bugs. So the app is great i love that it has all the novelas i love but every time i start watching a novela when the episode is over it doesn’t move on to the next episode it restarts the same episode over again . And also it kicks me out sometimes out of nowhere . Other than that it’s great . Just wish they would fix it to when one episode is done it moves on to the next one instead of repeating the same episode over and over again .

You guys have a lot of bugs to fix. I would like to start with the app just crashing mid show or when I try to screen share you can’t watch anything it will continuously stop it’s not the it wasn’t the connection or the phone cause I tried it on a different ones also every time I open the app I have to go look for my show again scroll down to me episode it will never save them movies or shows i even bought the premium thinking it would make the app work better but in honesty it made it worse.

Review on technical issues. The app has wonderful tv shows but you cant enjoy watching them if the app keeps glitching. App on Roku tv consistantly stops working saying theres no connection but there is. Also, app doesn't leave off where you left of so its hard to keep track on what episode I was in. Please fix technical issues. I tried a link from a previous response saying reach out to etc.. but I was unable to open it.

Needs a Continue Watching Library. I love the variety of novelas and variety of movies. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because VIX doesn’t have a search tab and a continue watching library. If you’re looking for a title you need to go through everything. Also, I’ve been watching a novela and when I return, I have to start all over again because there’s no indication of where I left off. Confused. Started off great! Was watching a really old classic novela. I come home later that night and i can no longer allow me to watch on my smart tv. I’ve uninstalled and installed it several times hoping that would work, but still says “error en autentificación”. Which is weird because like i said I’ve been using it for a few days now. I have it installed on my phone as well and it works great, but without being connected to my wifi?! Can this please be fixed.

There’s no way to look up movies or shows. I got this to watch Teresa bc someone said it was on here but there’s no way to search for anything. Everything is organized by category and you just have to scroll through everything to find what you’re looking for. With that being said they do have a wide variety of genres in both English and Spanish and they have pretty popular stuff. They have a lot stuff to watch. If there was a search bar I would definitely Have given it 5 stars.

Needs a few things fixed. I have VIX PLUS just to watch “El Internado” and here are my complains. 1. There’s no “skip recap” option which is very annoying because sometimes they are about 4 minutes long. 2. Sometimes subtitles don’t work, and when they do they are AHEAD. 3. A lot of times it won’t start where i left off. 4. When i want to watch it using my AirPods, i can only hear the voices in one airpod. (but i think it’s just this particular show) 5. Not really a complaint but it would be great to add english subtitles in the future.

Excellent App. I love love this app so much because I could binge a lot of my novelas; however, I just wish they could bring chrome cast because with Airplay I tend to struggle for the reason that it doesn’t automatically play the next episode and I have to do it myself manually but besides that love it and I get to watch my all of my most favorite novelas.

It offers a lot of games, yes and from South America as I like BUT their connectivity with AirPlay is terrible, I have all the apps and all of them have no problem displaying in my TV, bUt Vix doesn’t work at all, AT ALL, I used 4 different phones and nothing and worst of all they don’t even offer connectivity with Chrome Cast. I don’t see the reason why offer it for free if the developing is faulty, you tried to cover so much but the most basic won’t work. You should expect better results for a company with the backing/banking you have. Glad you don’t charge, not worth paying as soccer can only be watched on mobile.

Horrible!. I never write reviews, but i just had to for this one! Love the idea of free novelas but the app has so many issues that i cant even enjoy it. Its a hit and miss as to whether it will save what episode i am in. The app kicks me out or goes back to previous sections. There are so many commercials! I even subscribed to the vix plus only to find out that the most popular novelas still have commercials! So what exactly am i paying for? I wish they would just fix the issues so i could enjoy las novelas. Im also unsubscribing until they fix all the issues. Also it would be nice to be able to dowload the app on LG tvs once it works.

The ViX+. The ViX + doesn’t have a lot of programs, I upgrade and bough the subscription thinking I will have every thing adds free but for my surprise I still got adds on the shows, so why paying $6.99 a month if I can what the tv shows for free but still with adds, I HATE that the app doesn’t have a choice of MY LIST so every time I want to look at my show I have to search for the show and it’s so annoying plus it crashes all the time wherever it’s the ViX or ViX +

My opinion. I have been using this app when it was first called prende tv its an amazing app has a long of good telenovelas along with comedy shows such as vecinos, familia peluche, 40y20 ect… the only thing that brings down my review one star less is that they started charging for you to watch shows movies ect i wish it was still a free app thats what it was known for back then dont know why things change but its still a good platform to watch Mexican shows along with sports only if your willing to pay wish it was still free tho
