Do not bother ordering curbside pick up.. I've tried ordering both from their website and the app with bad experiences both times. Got to the store after ordering online at the time specified to find that my order has not been started on yet. Thought I'd give them another chance so I ordered through the app. Arrived at the store and hit the "I've arrived" button on the app, waited 15 minutes at the curbside pick up and nobody came to my car. Went inside the store to find the order was not ready and it would be another 10 minutes. Better off waiting 30 minutes at the drive through, or go to Popeye's up the street.

Review for online ordering. This is a review for ordering online. You cannot press “X” as it does nothing, and if you mess up you cant change it unless you start the entire order over. The buggiest app and website ive ever seen from a restaurant. Please hire actual developers to make this work because only half the buttons actually do anything, and because of this I had to start over multiple times. Also, there is no “Check out as guest” option like every other food ordering platform on the planet. You have to sit there and make an account. Once I saw this, I just closed the app and went somewhere else to eat. Too much jumping through hoops for a couple chicken fingers. PS do not reply to me saying “Sorry this happened!!!1!!1!!1! Please call us at…..” No. I shouldnt have to call, that is what the reviews are FOR. Have upper management actually LOOK at these terrible reviews, nobody has time to call and complain. Its 2021. Get it together

Confusing user experience. I pick a pickup time an hour in the future, I put in my credit card number, I click pay, it processes for like a minute with that dumb disco ball, but then nothing happens. It just takes me back to the screen where I just clicked pay. Did it work? Do I need to click pay again? Did I get charged? Where is the confirmation screen? Then I scroll back up and see a hidden error message and it’s like “where experiencing a high order volume and cannot immediately start your order”. What does that mean? Are you going to start it later and then tell me to pickup later? Did I get charged? I’m so confused. The error message should be a pop up (not hidden) and it should say “error, we cannot fulfill the time you have selected. You have not been charged and your order has not been received. Please pick a new time and resubmit your order and payment.” See how that’s much less confusing? Also, why even list the time as an option if the app is just going to say that time is not available.

No Apple Pay and Location Tracking and data tracking. The login process is not great. Why not use Face ID? Also, where is Apple Pay? Why can’t I use Sign In with Apple so that you don’t have my email? I don’t want to store my credit card info on file for you. I don’t trust that you won’t let someone steal it. In fact, I’d be shocked if it’s not stolen in the next 2 years. Also, the text fields are not setup to allow for auto-fill. What a hassle. Is that a major technical hurdle? Or is it designed that way so that it encourages me to keep it on file, so that you have more of my data on hand? Do you really need to track me across apps and websites? No, you absolutely do not need to track me across apps and websites. Are you selling my data?

The app itself generally works well. I downloaded because I forgot my wallet and was disappointed to find that the app does not accept Apple Pay. Also you should have an I’m here button as not everyone wants to enable Geotracking. You know, privacy and all. Just because you made an easier way doesn’t mean that it should be the only option. Don’t force your customers into providing you with data that they don’t want to. On the up side, the app was otherwise very easy to use and gave many options for customizing my order!

New concept?. California finally got locations opened around town. I tried using the app to place my order since the nearest spot to me is 19 miles away and it just opened a few days ago. No drive thru and this is the first location they chose to go live first. Guess somehow made a lot of business sense. The app doesn’t work. I was able to pick any time slot for my food order. Customer Service wasn’t helpful at all. Called the store and they don’t do phone orders. The guy that answered suggested ordering an hour out. Still was not able to pick any time to order food. Apple Pay wasn’t working to pay for my food. Ordering food on an app isn’t a new concept but it wasn’t easy.

👀 FAST ORDERING. Everything was great about ordering online except for not having an option for NO ICE or EASY/LIGHT ICE & I ordered just before St. Patrick’s Day & didn’t have an option for regular lemonade only the green lemonade but when I had that 1-2 years ago it gave me a horrible migraine so having option for regular would make it easier. I did add note to order that kids lemonade should be regular w no ice & hopefully they fill that way instead of green lemonade. Ordering was fast and easy ☺️

Opportunities. Update to the below review - I no longer need to login, nor do I need to complete the captcha. I also noticed Apple Pay is now available, but up to this point the app did save my payment information for speedy purchases. Thanks for addressing the items below quickly! Login process is extremely laborious. Captcha takes over twenty seconds to complete. The app should keep the user logged in and should allow for credentials to be saved so users can login with Face ID. Should also enable Apple Pay to make checkout more streamlined.

Would be nice if…. It would be nice if I didn’t have to log back in to my account every couple weeks just to place an order. It would be even better if the app wouldn’t five me mixed messages when I go to reset my password.. I forget to load it into my saved passwords each time and then I forget the password. It tells me “ Password was not updated. Please make sure you have not used a password that you have used in the past.”, then right below that it says “Your password has been reset.” Getting annoying, and app is up to date.

This app is HORRIBLE !!!!!. This app is HORRIBLE !!!!! This app will not allow me to use my saved password to log in so I have to reset my password every time I use the app. And, it keeps logging me out so I have to go through the entire password reset password process every time I use it. Then I tried looking at a previous order to see if I wanted to reorder it, it got hung up there and I had to kill and restart the app all over again. Plus, when I try to tell how bad the experience is with the app, it closes that without saving or sending that information. There is no button to submit or a way to scroll down to look for a button.

Very poor app. The app is just a wrapper around a web view, which isn’t so bad because the design is decent. However, there are quirks that make it nearly unusable. For example, no matter which credit card I attempt to use, it’s rejected due to an invalid billing address. This doesn’t happen with any other company, and it makes me suspect that the app is processing the payment with my apartment number included in an invalid way. So, I literally can’t check out. This app should allow Apple Pay (we’re in 2021), and this wouldn’t even be a concern. Also, there’s a max password length limit of 25 characters, which is ridiculous. There is literally no technical reason that any password length maximum needs to be imposed.

Great food, horrible app. canes is one of my favorite restaurants ever, but this app is borderline unusable. When you download it it requires you to make an account and put in a card, meaning if you have little time and want to just place and order and pay inside the building, there’s nothing you can do. There’s also no option for delivery, and the app itself is riddled with bugs. One bug i’ve experienced multiple times is when I hit the continue to payment option after creating my order, instead of doing what i want it to it signs me out, making me sign in again before paying. An app that just had a phone number to the restaurant you want would literally be better than this.

Better than CFA. I know CFA is famous for a fast drive thru line and Canes always has a long line. But this app is amazing. Super fast, super easy, I plug in my order right before I get in my car, and by the time I arrive at Canes, it’s ready and I walk in and grab it off the pick-up shelf. So skip the drive thru, use this app, and you’ll see how getting Canes is faster and easier than CFA. It is now my go-to every time I need a fast lunch pick-up.

Can’t complete order. I don’t see how this app has such high ratings. I can’t complete the billing process. Credit card info already saved from a previous order, Apple Pay, or PayPal doesn’t work either. Will get a different error message but after the disco ball, it doesn’t even just show the error. You need to scroll to the very top. Next the error says they have high volume and the next available window is 3:30pm. It is 2:30pm but I picked 6pm for pickup. Changed to 3:30 pickup, first says, you can’t edit that. Start the process over, pick 3:30…same error message. Not available. Closest time is 3:30 even though I picked 3:30. I am doing this at a new location so the demand is high but the app ordering is very bad. Selecting food and things is fine…just the completion process fails. I am fine even if they just say they are too busy for an online order. But this is an app issue…not a busy store issue. And the error message should be right there with actual corrective steps, I should not have to hunt for the error by scrolling. In addition, I can tell the error message is actually just an unhandled case not the actual error event.

Order is never ready on time and no way to report that it wasn’t ready on time.. About a 50/50 chance they even get your Mobile order. I’ve ordered an hour early at least 5 times now, show up on time and still have to wait 30+ mins for my order. When I order my dinner at 5pm and select the option to pick it up at 6pm I expect to pick it up at that time not, 6:30pm. Multiple times I’ve had to just show them what I ordered after the order on the app doesn’t go through. Multiple times the directions on the app don’t take you to the restaurant. this is unacceptable, if the food wasn’t so good, I would’ve stopped coming here long ago.

Unresponsive, constant errors. The first time I used the raising canes app everything was fine and dandy, the second time however, it took me about 50 button clicks to just log in, before that it would just show the spinning disco ball each time I pressed log in and then nothing happened, then I try to continue as a guest and when I enter the details to my car it says that there was an error, after about 15 minutes messing around with the app, I’m finally able to get to the checkout screen only for it to tell me to log in to complete my purchase only to have the same initial problem, this app is infuriating and terrible, I might as well have saved myself the time and go through the drive thru.

Terrible 1st Impression. I got excited when I saw the positive reviews on the app & decided to cut down my wait time. Or at least, I had hoped. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost an hour for my food. I got to my mobile pickup order spot, tapped on “I Arrived.” & waited patiently. When I noticed that a good amount of cars were getting their food before me, I had to go inside after waiting so long. I got in, asked the lady at the register (who was not in a good mood) where my order was at. She said that the order was on the counter because they didn’t see my car. Mind you, the app greyed out the option for carry-out at the location I went to so it was only drive-in or curbside mobile orders. My chicken, fries, & toast were all cold & drenching from being on the counter for so long. On top of that, I checked my order in the car & it wasn’t even right! Maybe I just had a bad first experience with the app, but this set a terrible impression & I will most likely not being using it again. Especially if other food competitors have perks, there’s no incentive to order from the app.

Love the food!. I love Raising Canes’, food, atmosphere, mission, and everything about the company. However, I cannot get the app to work and I cannot get a hold of anybody to help me. I know my login information and when I login online it works perfectly but the app constantly tells me that I have the wrong login information. I have tried creating a new password and it still tells me it’s wrong and will not let me login on the app. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app, created new passwords, and tried to create an account on the app (says I already have one). Idk what else to do.

Logging in is HORRIBLE. I’ve tried to login for a week to this app. Every time I go to Raising Canes, I try again to use the app and cannot get it to work. Here is my experience: I try to login, the screen doesn’t progress. Sometimes it gives me verification images, which are tiny and difficult to make out, and no matter how many I select it never goes away. When I click “verify” it just takes me back to login and starts the whole process again. The verification images range from “select the bicycles” to “crosswalks” to “traffic lights” and no matter what I choose it never verified my login. It’s so infuriating to have no way of logging in properly. I’m not getting notices about whether I’m failing the verification, or why I loop back to the login over and over. I use apps for Sonic, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, Chipotle, and many other restaurants and I really enjoy eating at Raising Canes, but this experience deters me.

Orders are never on time. I got the app for the purpose of convenience, but it has proved to be anything but that. Orders never come out on time (people who order inside/through the drive-thru come out with their food much sooner, and in way more bags). And it is a hassle to do curbside- it’s never worked for me- I’ve literally had to go in each time after waiting 10-25+minutes past the ETA. Remove the option if the workers can’t take two seconds to bring my food out. So inconvenient overall, I do not recommend this app it will only cause you more frustration. This restaurant chain is lucky the food is good or if never even come back based on the horrible service you get from a restaurant run by lazy 16 year olds.

Excellent food; the app needs some updates. This review is not for the food, which is always wonderful. The sauce is one of my favorite things ever. The app itself could be improved by making the pickup times more accurate. Every time I order, the app says that the pickup time is immediately after I’ve placed my order and that’s simply not accurate. The food is ready at minimum 20 minutes (sometimes longer) after I place the order. I just wish it was more accurate. Also, I don’t understand why the rewards system is on a physical card and not built into the app. You can add your card number into the app, but it seems like that should just be a part of the app.

One of the worst online ordering apps out there. The app is constantly logging me out randomly whenever I open it and demands I prove I'm human everytime with those annoyingly confusing capche. The geotracking isn't fun ethier with you having to be on the app during the whole ride over there for them to start making your food. If you don't they check you in right then and there so you might as well have just went inside to order instead of the convenience mobile ordering is suppose to give you. I've been an avid Cane's customer since I first ate here and with the quality of the chicken tenders going down as much as it has the mobile app should not be this bad.

sends orders to wrong locations. consistently sends my orders to the wrong location. and it doesn't give you the address on the final order screen--just the store number. If it told you what street it was on I could be like "no, that's not the one I want to go to!" but how am I supposed to know what store number my local Cane's is? That's not info a customer tracks, that's internal company info. The app doesn't show the street address until AFTER you pay and then it's like do I wanna drive ten miles out of my way? Call corporate? Just give up for the day? If you even notice until you get to the one you MEANT to order from and there's no order and they're very confused and you're very confused and then you doublecheck the confirmation and feel like an idiot.

Does not work. I downloaded the app and proceeded to create an account. I got a error message stating my account could not be created, and then two seconds later I got an email thanking me for creating an account. I tired to log in to no avail so I decided to reset the password, I was then able to log in but that was the last successful action while using the app. I started an order which took forever! I was able to place my meal in the shopping bag, but when attempting to checkout it kept crashing. I was able to get as far as the page that ask you about your vehicle. It never let me add my vehicle. I tried to close and reopen the app but then I was again asked tp log in. I was never able to log in, after I entered email and password and click log in nothing would happen it would just stay on that screen. I closed and opened again and was able to see an item still in my bag so I clicked on that and was again thrown into the cycle of trying to enter my vehicle info. I decided I would try one more time - I closed and re-opened only to again get the log in page that never did anything once I entered my info. I guess I’ll use the chicken joint app that works every time and get my lunch there - it will be their pleasure!

Excellent chicken, horrendous app. Every time I login to the app they make me change my password. Then I change it then none of the verification codes work. Who ever manages their back end needs to get it together because they have way too many security protocols and things that contradict the other. I appreciate the concern for my canes app but Jesus Christ why is it if any changes happen to the account the all breaks.

Good App, but Dangerous Errors. This app is great for ordering your favorite chicken fingers on the go but can be proven to have some dangerous errors within it. I started using this app around 2 weeks and I already have ran into a dangerous error. I was ordering a box combo but the app crashed and I couldn’t access it for some reason. When I went to my email however to see if it got ordered, I was charged with not 1 extra Caniac combo, but 3. The email thankfully gave me a number to call if there was problems. Canes quickly picked up my call and I told them about the problem. The understood and gave me a refund right on the spot. If you’re using this app, make sure to use caution as this can happen. Hopefully for some, this issue won’t happen as sadly it happened to me.

Payment issues!. I’ve use this app multiple times. Never had a problem with it until the recent update. I normally use Apple Pay on apps because it’s just easier. I proceeded to check out and it charged me 15 bucks. And never submitted the order. I went to the store to see if it went through it never did. And since I never got an email because the app never submitted the order I could not get my money back. I’ve spent 30 bucks on just a 15 dollar meal. So overall a very bad experience I do not recommend getting this app if you want to get your money taken away from u and you can’t get a refund.

Amazing !!!!!!. Everything about the experience was awesome! Literally I was trying to get dinner quickly because I was working late. My kids wanted canes, so I know they always have a long line because everybody loves canes!! So I downloaded the app hoping that there were deals lol even though the Avenue had no specials or anything like that everything about the experience was great! I did not have to wait for our food and our food was very fresh! Thank you Kane staff! Everyone was awesome! ♥️☺️

Poor Experience. Ordering through the app was easy and convenient, but it seems like not all stores have integrated mobile ordering into their workflow. I ordered ahead of time and got to the store at the provided estimated time but ended up waiting over 30+ extra minutes in the store while customers who came and ordered in person while I was waiting there were getting their food ahead of me. Additionally, the drinks had been sitting out for the 40+ total minutes I waited so the ice was melted and the carbonation was gone. The app just made things more complicated and I waited a lot longer than I would have at the store or in the drive-thru. I’m sure it varies for each store though.

Needs lots of changes. I have multiple suggestions about how to make this app better. First there needs to be some sort of reward system. The only reason I download food apps is for the rewards system. So because there’s not one there is no reason for me to keep the app on my phone and I know I’m not the only person like that. The second thing that needs to change is that you can’t look at the menu without starting an order. That literally doesn’t make any sense. The third thing that needs changed is the customization of the food in the order. It just doesn’t work good. And the last thing that needs changed is that you can’t add a payment option unless you are about to complete an order. Again that literally doesn’t make any sense.

Good concept, but very poorly executed. It’s really cool that you can finally order ahead at Canes, but this app needs serious work. I made an account and three times it said there was an error and it couldn’t make it. So then, I try it again and it says there is already an account under that email. So I then try to log in with my email and password but when I pressed “log in” it would load for less than a second and then not log me in. I tried it 10 times until finally it said my email and password didn’t match, so I assumed I put in the password wrong and went to change my password. I put in my email so it would send the password change, but it came up with a red error that literally just Said [object Object] like what??? And it didn’t send the email confirmation. Once again if they can fix some issues with logging in this would be a great app.

Worst fast food app out there. This app never fails to….well fail. Half the time I give up eating at canes bc this app lets me go all the way through ordering before glitching out. I’m ashamed to say I’ve been trying to use the app to order for about an hour tonight. Over the time I’ve used the app glitches have ranged from saying the store is closed when it isn’t, saying my account has an issue, saying items are available etc. tonight everything went well until it asked for my car information which I entered and then went I hit continue I just get stuck on a white screen. Changing the method to in store pick up works fine. Changing the store you still get the same issue. I’m a believer of if you can’t do it well don’t do it. You’re app has only caused me inconvenience.

Excellent design-only one thing. It’s very easy to use, and I particularly liked that I could go back and change the pickup time before finalizing the order. And of course, it gets me Canes deliciousness faster. :) Only suggestion is that the location tracker is perhaps too sensitive. I live fairly close to the restaurant and put in an order for a set time (about 45m later) with the tracking option on. But as soon as a picked up my phone a little later, the app thought I was approaching the restaurant.

Praying. Dear raisin Canes if Santa clause is real then he knows I only want one thing for Christmas…. Is free raisin Canes for life ! I was just laying in bed after I did my prayers and I said man I just brushed my teeth and I wanna get up and get some raisin canes. Prayed to god to make me go to sleep ! Could wait till 10 a.m. to get raisin I live in California but I’m from New Orleans where good foods is all around if it’s not raisin canes I’m not waiting in no drive tru but for the canes I will god bless the founder god bless the coo or ceooo god bless everyone employee at the raisin canes family for the great service

Just not that great. The app’s geo tracking is awful. There needs to be an “I’m here” button or there is no purpose to this whole curbside thing. It’s buggy and always sits at pending especially if you place the order at like 11:00 to be ready at 5:00. There’s also no way to add an extra item from the meal screen so it’s always a hassle trying to add items from the extras screen. I get that the response is always to leave the app open with geo tracking enabled for the order, but that’s just simply bad app design. To make it more convenient for customers, especially for those that order ahead, there needs to be some way for the customer to indicate that they are either on their way, or at the restaurant. Overall, the design looks like it kept mainly the staff and IT system in mind, which is a good thing, but not much consideration for the customer’s convenience.

Serious flaw. The first time I used the app, it seemed pretty good. It took the restaurant almost 10 minutes to bring out my food after I arrived, but I don’t know if that was the app or just the people. But, since then, I’ve attempted to use it THREE different times at two locations. I choose my restaurant, enter my family’s order, enter payment info, choose curbside (it has always said that drive thru isn’t available), enter the description of my vehicle and *THEN* after all that, it says “we’re sorry, Cane’s #xxx is not taking mobile orders at this time”. WTH?!?! Either it’s saying that because it’s somehow erroring out at the end or someone made a SERIOUS design flaw that doesn’t tell you a restaurant is unavailable until after you’ve wasted a bunch of time. Really, REALLY annoying. Will not use this app again.

What’s up with the log in?. I am seeing many reviews under this app of similar issues and it still has not changed? I normally don’t write reviews but it’s quite frustrating. I made an account and had the password and email saved in my passwords on my phone. It’s not something I type in, it autofills for me so it can’t be wrong. However every time I try to log in I have issues with the online and mobile app. I thought maybe it’s incorrect and decided to change my password, I never received the email even though I’ve had previous purchases under the same email. I decided to make another account and start over and I’ve had the same issue. It’s as if canes doesn’t want you to use your rewards. HORRIBLE!

I love canes but fix the section to add a gift card. I received a gift card and tried to use it through the app. I put in the info during checkout and it showed what the balance was. I clicked on the balance and it disappeared. I had to input the info again. It wasn’t showing that amount subtracted from the total. I clicked on the icon again and it made the gift card disappear again. I input the info one more time thinking it would just subtract it once I pushed the transaction through. I used Apple Pay and it charged me for the full amount. It didn’t even apply the gift card amount to the purchase. So what did I do wrong? And if I did, please make it more streamlined and add something showing the balance is applied.

👎👎👎👎😞😞. Since you pay for the ready before you get to this restaurant they don’t care about the quality of what you’re getting, granted it could be my particular raising Cane‘s #55 in Baton Rouge, LA. Granted I was late picking it up about 40 minutes, but they did not call me to see if my time was changed, they had it all packed up and sitting on the counter when I got there. So all the food is cold and not good. All because of the app and me paying before hand. Got the answer from the developers keeping my app open doesn’t make a bit of difference in the order of $140 + I placed. Cold food because it was paid for in advance. Raising Canes doesn’t lose anything if it’s cold or not, except a customer that will never order from them again the store doesn’t care and has done this before with missing items ordered on past orders. The app makes it worse so this store has their money and you don’t realize anything is wrong until it’s to late 👎👎👎👎

App is too wonky. Background: A Cane’s just opened up in town a week ago and my girlfriend and I wanted to try the place out. The Cane’s has been having so much traffic, the drive-thru line extends into three other businesses surrounding it. It has so many cars, police officers are literally directing traffic so people don’t block up the street. Issue: I tried to place an order through the app and it lead me to a blank checkout screen. I closed the app and opened it again, still a blank screen. I restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and still the same blank screen was looking back at me. I then tried to order from the website. Apparently, you can’t do that. It just leads you to the app. Very poor design, and highly unfortunate.

Needs major polish. After waiting this long for an app I was hoping for a very native user experience. First the app gives you an option to skip the account creation step but then forces you to create it anyway before finishing your order. Also, a modern iOS app should streamline data entry of your contact information and credit card but it does not. Everything has to be typed in. This makes the account creation painful if you are in a hurry. The app also does not leverage the password keychain to generate a secure password although it looks like it will let you access a saved password. But that doesn’t help for the painfully slow registration process. Looking forward to another release that addresses these shortcomings.

Actual Great Customer Service. We all know customer service nowadays can be overall very poor for most customers to endure, however, this was not the case with my experience at Canes! I have been enjoying eating at Canes for years now and somehow just found out about their club reward cards. I instantly visited my nearest Canes location, received a Club card and went home to activate it. The worker there told me I’d even get a free box combo within 48 hours of completing registration/ sign up. I believe I followed all instructions to complete my sign up and verification process, however after waiting a couple weeks, I did not receive my reward. I then placed my concern within Canes customer support through the app. In less than a few days I received an email informing me the matter has been resolved and my reward was available. I Really appreciate timely responses , especially ones that provide quick and easy resolution. Thank you Canes, though this may be small, it is VERY significant to me, especially considering it is very difficult to receive effective / satisfying customer service, even for the little things.

Still needs work. I love that Canes finally created this app! Unfortunately, since they’re still new I feel like there can still be improvements. The “Arrived” button after ordering online glitches and doesn’t notify the restaurant you’ve arrived to be able to bring out your order. Has happened a few times already and one time the restaurant phones were constantly busy and I was unable to leave my car due to server am reasons so I was sitting in my car calling until it wasn’t busy. 20 minutes later I got through and was told I never checked in on the app. Which I refreshed several times and it still said I was checked in. Almost 49 mins later I get my order. Please fix!

Love the food hate the app. App needs help. Needs to be able to save passwords in app or for iPhones with face recognition. Also needs an “I’m here” button for some people who don’t connect to the store when they get close. It’s hard to deal with that when you do curbside. I have to walk inside and show them my order and pray I have everything. Don’t get me wrong the staff was amazing about getting my food fast and accurate but I like the curbside option because I have a 1 year old at home I’m trying to protect during the pandemic.

Great chicken fingers!. Great food, even if Raising Cane’s has a menu limited to chicken fingers. And the chicken fingers are delicious! Tender & moist, the breading is just right for the most part. Our order came out quickly so the tenders were still hot. Nice! And the dipping sauce is a great complement to the strips. I dipped the fries in it & that was good too. The rest of the menu like the coleslaw was ok—coleslaw is coleslaw. Nothing to write hone about. I’m disappointed with the Texas toast as it was only toasted and buttered on one side. I remember Texas toast as toasted & buttered on both sides. And I heard their tea was great but I can’t comment on that as I got the unsweetened tea. And unsweetened tea is just unsweetened tea. Overall, I’m impressed with Raising Cane’s, and it’s just because of the chicken fingers! I’ll be back for sure, but maybe when the newness of a just-opened restaurant wears off and the lines aren’t so long.

Probably the worst food ordering app in history. This app is super glitchy. It’s unclear whether you should be making a group order or an individual order when ordering a tailgate. So I started a group order. I tried to cancel it once I saw it was asking me for additional email addresses to invite. I tried to back out of that section of the app and it erased everything I was doing. I finally got an individual order placed because it was just me ordering. I had to enter my information twice. Then I received 4 emails about how great it was that I created by new group order! It took me maybe 4x longer than it should have to order. The other chicken guys have a much better and much more streamlined user experience. This makes me want to avoid ordering anything from Canes.

Broken Service. When they released the app I was excited, except for the part where I added my debit card, it didn’t work. Added my credit card, didn’t work. Tried reinstalling, repeated the same actions didn’t work. Today I downloaded the app thinking maybe it “would” work. No the app doesn’t work for me still. Tried calling in the order “we only do large orders of 25 pieces over the phone”. Prior to that call I tried their website and couldn’t use my payment methods either. Absolute garbage service and I have been a customer for years. I will just do drive-thru lines, as that magically works just fine! Though I will not be making as many visits because they blow when it comes to service.

Never able to log in. Being super excited to download this app I did. I created an account and tried to log in and it said the email and password provided didn’t match. I tried several times knowing my password was correct and it gave the same message. I waited assuming the app was down. After several hours I got the same error so I selected “forgot password”. When prompted, I used the old password and was given an errors message saying I could not use a previous password. I changed the password and tried to log in only to have the same exact issue. When this happened again, I tried to log in online and had the same issue. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I changed my password a third and a fourth time only to keep getting the same error message that my email address and password are not a match. There is no place on the website or in the app to go to customer service for assistance and the email sent to change your password is a DO NOT REPLY email address. I am so frustrated at this point after uninstalling and reinstalling twice, changing my password five times over a period of three days I have decided it is just not worth not.

Slow and Glitchy/Buggy. Every time I try to sign in/sign up for an account the page always refreshes and I have to put in my information all over again. I can’t even fill out most of the information fast enough because it refreshes too quick and it’s slow to input text on the information boxes and trying to move to the next information box. I haven’t ordered anything on the app yet. I heard about the app from a promotional email from Cane’s and thought it would be a good idea to at least have an account set up for when I plan to order. I did read a few reviews before the app installed on my mobile device and already knew it was going to be bad, but not being able to even set up an account was a bummer. Hopefully they fix this app soon.

Great food but app needs improvement. Raising Cane’s food is 10/10, but app is 0/10. There’s so many bugs, performance issues, and bad UI choices. It’s really frustrating needing to sign in again after every app update, and that’s especially compounded when the two factor takes SOOooo long to hit my mailbox as other more recent emails arrive. I’ve gotten issues with time outs and even placed an order only to find the received never received it. On my iPhone I’ve had a bug where promotional notifications repeat leading it to spam my phone. There’s also times where a portion of the UI will load late causing the page to be adjusted and me to hit the wrong option. Finally, there’s a lot of little anti-patterns to the UI that can cause some frustration. One example is the payment options are stacked meaning the natural habit to hit the button below actually just opens the gift card info and can purge all the CC info just entered. I absolutely love Raising Cane’s food and have driven out of my way for it. Please give me a reason to love this app too!

Needs a cancel button. I think overall the app is an ok experience, however it’s very shocking that there is no cancel button for an order. I ordered through my normal location but the app switched it to a farther one and would not let me cancel through the app, and took multiple hours for the location to be able to follow through on the refund I had called them about after they claimed they could not provide one on their end. This needs to be fixed

First order >20 minutes late due to "glitch". My first order, despite getting a confirmation and a precise pickup time, resulted in sitting in the parking lot for > 20 minutes after the time estimate (in the designated area) without anyone so much as acknowledging our presence. When going in, the staff was kind enough, simply acknowledging this is a known issue, and may be related to the first order not appearing automatically. Seems like quite a big error. I did this to save time. If you were hoping to do the same, I suggest you still use the drive through (or lobby, if open).

Simple to understand and doesn’t crash every couple of minutes. As the title says, it’s easy to use and doesn’t crash. I haven’t had any issues with lagging even in areas with poor signal. Just makes it really convenient to place my order and pick it up.

Works okay when it actually does work. I downloaded this app hoping to make my pickup faster, but more than half the time it takes even longer, if I can even place an order at all. I just tried to place an order around 8:30pm CDT and it told me that it couldn’t complete my order because the meal wouldn’t be ready by close… at 11PM… and this happens ALL THE TIME. I get some other errors as well and sometimes just get logged out randomly. It won’t accept my apple pay either.

Still Waiting. The app itself was really convenient. My issue is that I am writing this review in the curbside pickup parking spot. I have been waiting for about 40 minutes. I wanted to avoid going inside. There is a call button on the app, but no one picked up. Ok, I just went inside and my food has been sitting there for a long time. The app specifically told me to wait in my car.

Constant hacks. I don’t know what it is about the delicious canes chicken, but someone is obsessed with hacking into my account, or at least attempting to. At least twice a week, I get an email saying I’m trying to reset my password. Now, I don’t have any payment info saved in the app thanks to it being hacked once and someone in California treating themselves to a meal. Other than constantly changing the password for security issues, the app is fine.

Basket cannot be verified??. Was super excited to see my location was finally available as an online order after going through a pandemic for over a year without that ability. Literally the only fast food place around that didn’t have app ordering. Anyway, after I put my tailgate order for my sons graduation party in, date and time for pickup, make and model Of my car, Went to payment and got a ‘basket cannot be verified’ error. What? Now I’ll have to call the store when it opens - it’s as if the app never existed. Thanks canes. Super helpful.

This app is an exercise in frustration. Can’t get past the log in screen before it starts me all over on the log in screen. They said it was a new app, so I deleted the app and tried again. No luck. Just as bad as always. I’ve never been able to successfully order through the app. As much as we love Cane’s, we go elsewhere because this app is impossible to use.

App and Verification Issues. So annoying!!!!!!! Can’t even sign up or log into my account because the reCaptcha isn’t functioning properly. I have had to redo it probably over 20 times. I tried making my account and had to verify over and over. I closed the app and tried to sign up again and it said there was an existing account with my email. I got no confirmation whatsoever about my account being created. I then tried to log in with my email and I can’t log in because of the reCaptcha and have to keep doing it over. Super annoying, especially as such a loyal customer.

Best chicken/Not so great app. Everyone knows Cane’s chicken is some of the best out there. And the fries and sauce are amazing. But the app is horrible because I try to order ahead of time on the app and at least half the time it gives me an error no matter how many times I try. I log in online and it doesn’t work either. So it doesn’t necessarily have to do with the app, but their system.

What???. Again trying to order in the app and it doesn’t work. I selected the location and the only thing the app will do is link to a maps application for directions. Once before after proudly installing it, the app didn’t show any evidence of working after I’d signed in. Now, after updating I’m still seeing problems. I favorited the intended location and it still refuses. iPhone XR generally handles everything else. My son loves caniacs so I still go in spite of the failed app. I thought it might be nice to see if there is an advantage to the app. Apparently no!

Skip the app! Use the drive through. I downloaded the app several months ago but it has never actually worked for me to be able to use it. Finally today it decided to work. I ordered ahead and sat in the spot for 20 minutes, kept the app open like it said to do. Then finally called to check if I did everything right. My order never showed up on the store side. So they manually had to put it in. Then I waited another 20 minutes to get the food. It would have taken like 5 minutes to do the drive through but I thought the app would just make everything easier. Nope.

Easy unless you’re having someone else pick up the order. I love that you don’t have to order/pay for a drink if you order through the app. The only problem I have had is when I send someone else to pick up my order. There’s no place to enter that person’s vehicle info or contact info.

Easy to Use. As someone who isn’t from an area where Canes exists, it was very easy to use. my one thing would be maybe make it a little more clear to see that removing a side brings up the option to substitute. i didn’t get that for a minute and was looking for a “substitute button”. overall great though

Love canes. HATE the app. The app when you’re in is fine. But it logs me out randomly. Then when I enter my manually saved password (because of course it doesn’t remember automatically or offer face ID sign in), it tells me my email and password don’t match. Um. How many times do I have to change my password? I literally have to do forgot password every time it logs me out because it tells me they don’t match. I have written down when I change it in my password app and make sure it’s updated in iPhone passwords. Yet it still doesn’t work. As this is an ongoing issue, I give 1 star to this cruddy app.

ALWAYS GOOD. The store is always clean and friendly. Well staffed which makes this place one of our favorites when we are out shopping. The employees are constantly buzzing, helping customers. Only bad thing is my family and I have noticed the sound track in the restaurant needs some more variety. We go there to much!!!!

Needs bugs squashed. For the most part this is the ideal food app. It’s just easy and to the point. The only problem I have sometimes is that the Apple Pay button disappears sometimes or can’t be pressed or I can’t click any of the payment options at all which is very frustrating since sometimes you want to order and pick up really quick without having to order and wait inside the actual restaurant.

Full of Bugs. I wanted to love this app. I got an email saying I could link my caniac card to the app which would be super convenient considering I don’t go to canes everyday so I don’t always have my caniac card. Well, upon downloading this app, it won’t let me log into my account. It’s saying my email and password combo are not valid but that’s obviously a lie because I can log into my account online/safari. Ridiculous if you ask me because the whole point of me downloading this app was to be able to show my caniac card via app and I can’t even log into my VALID account on the app. I would give this app zero stars if I could.

App designed by normal people. There are ten Cane’s near me and not a single one has had online ordering up in months. I feel it’s only courteous to at least explain why that is. (There’s no world in which the drive thru is better for your long wait times than online ordering so that cant be the reasoning) There have been some very annoying bugs but the dev team seems to be quick about correcting them.

Easy. This episode easy to use and I love canes and what a great way and more convenient way to have canes then to just order it on the app and then just go for pick up it’s such a fast service and the people are so friendly thank you so much for making such a friendly using app!

Doesn’t Do Much + No Rewards?!. This app is subpar at the best. You can’t customize your order at all, which prevents me from even using it. I order my sandwich combos with no sauce, but they don’t have ANY way to request that. There isn’t a feature built in, nor a comments/request box. It’s so frustrating, because it’s such an easy thing to incorporate into their existing ordering system. Why it hasn’t been addressed yet is beyond me, seems like carelessness and a lack of effort. Plus, who really wants to use a fast food app that doesn’t offer a rewards program. Disappointing. 👎

Worked great for me. I downloaded the app and created an account and I found it was very easy to do. I set up my payment method entered all my information and then went to the menu. The menu was easy to navigate I was able to place my order make my payment and my order was ready for pick up upon arrival. For me, I give it five stars.

Movers Pickup. I love to feed workers on our family move; and your Madison, Mississippi spot is not only convenient, but also so efficient! The staff are all so friendly as well! Today Sherry came to the car to identify me and then so politely placed the order in my car. I love doing business with you and consider your food wonderful! Continued good success!

APP HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS. leaving a five star review for exposure. App is broken, can’t place a order no matter what time of day it is. Doesn’t matter if its pick up or curbside, no payment goes through even though all payment methods aren’t expired and up to date in the app. Not even apple py. Its been like this for months and there isn’t even a tech support line for this.

Bad app 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽. Seeing a lot of reviews in regards to technical issues and nobody does a thing?! You guys need to fix this. I downloaded the app because I wanna be start going to the restaurant and I don’t know if this app has the “earning points” for the reward thing. I wanna see what’s in the app, I forgot my password, so I requested to change the password. Apparently that can only be done on the browser, the app doesn’t do a thing. So I changed my password and retry on the app. Nope, I came with the error. This is SUCH B.S! And when was the last time this app need an update?! 🤬🤬🤬👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

App Needs Work. While the app seems simple the issues with logging on make it impossible to use. I have tried multiple times to login with my correct credentials and even made a new account and still no luck on being able to login. Adding the ability to checkout as guest without an account seems like an easy fix. Also why does a chicken finger ordering app require me to go through 3-4 Capcha requirements? This app is harder to log into then most bank accounts. Great food, poor login design.

Worst App EVER. You guys by far have the worst food app EVER. I always have an issue with the payment. Why even offer Apple Pay as an option of it’s ALWAYS giving a FREAKING error. This is exactly why I rarely eat at raising canes because y’all ALWAYS mess up my order and the app is GARBAGE!!! I try to give y’all a chance thinking maybe things will be different but clearly I’m the fool for thinking that. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere because it shows that no matter how much money y’all are making off of people y’all are clearly not using it to better this app.

Rewards System is Horrible, Awful, Dog Water. The rewards system in this app was my main point of downloading it, in hopes that I could be rewarded for as much money I've spent at Cane's over the years, but i've been on this app numerous times waiting for my rewards to show or to check my progress and theres nothing and nowhere for me to find it. It's sad to say there's more attention in the (lack of) seasoning for their tenders than there is for the apps UI. Doordash Pickup has better features than this app, it's genuinely pointless to have UNLESS you have difficulties with In-Person ordering...

Rating for mobile order system. Accurate time readiness even with current popularity levels. Waited an hour at home! and arrived at time the app told me it would be ready. Passed all backed up drive thru traffic and parked and walked into the moblie ordering area and my order eating for me! True in and out experience! Everything was fresh and great!

Raising Canes is the best. This is the first Raising canes in the city of Oakland in fact it’s the first in the Bay Area and even though it’s been busy the service is great the food was fresh and good the restaurant was very clean inside and outside. I’ll be coming back for sure and i recommend this place to everyone. I definitely give them 5 stars

App needs work. I like the fact that there is finally an app to order ahead, but it refuses to log me in even after resetting my password. This is extremely irritating especially for days and nights when you are in a hurry and do not have time to wait in a long drive through line.

This is a bad app - too many bugs signing up. Can’t checkout without logging in. Try to create account. Get error message. Try to create account again, get message that my email is already associated with an account. Try to log in using initial credentials. Am told password doesn’t match. Change password. Am told new password doesn’t match. What a waste of time. Update - tried logging in an hour later, worked just fine. But it was TOO LATE. I got chicken fingers somewhere else.

Great fast food app. Its a great app and works very smoothly for me but the one issue ive had for about a year now is that the Geotrackin option is not available to me it says I need to allow the location tracking which I have and it still says it doesnt have my location. It isnt a big deal though for me just the only issue ive seen.

Not good. Both the app and the online ordering for Raising Cains are plagued by problems. I’ve had mom and pop local restaurants with online ordering interfaces that are much easier to use than this. Specific to the app, the sheer amount of CAPTCHA I had to go through just to login is inexcusable if you’re operating as a FAST FOOD provider. It’s probably took 10 minutes to order because of all that wonky security work. The food would be ready in less time than the ordering took.

The chicken is good; this app is garbage.. Cane’s makes great chicken, no doubt about it, but this review is about the app which has yet to work for me. I keep trying though, hoping it will be updated so that I could actually place an order. I want this to work as the lines at Cane’s drive through are terrible during meal times. Please make a better app. Cane’s is too good for this. UPDATE: I stand corrected the latest update made it possible to login and place an order! Thanks!

😍 love this place 🤤 😋 yummy. I absolutely recommend ordering off their app. All you do is download the app or do what you want and walk in and it’s pretty much ready for you. It’s quick it’s easy it’s faster than going to the drive-through and or dining in. It’s fresh hot and oh so good!!!!! Yummy yummy yummy my baby in my belly gives lil kicks letting me know he’s happy with there food as well ☺️

App Never Works. I have tried multiple times resetting my password, but every time I try to log in it says that the password is incorrect. Then I sign up with a different email address, get logged in, and then it won't let me place an order. It says the order can't be done in the time frame, so I move it back to 2:45. Go to place order again, same error message that cannot be completed until 2:30. Makes no sense. Have tried multiple times in multiple locations, never works. iPhone 13 pro is the phone.

You’ll be hangry before you can order. THE CAPTCHA THINGY IS THE WORST. I would give 0 star if I could. Keeps saying “Please try again” even if I’ve been clicking the right images. Tried resetting the password but no email was sent. Ugh. I thought trying out the app will help skipping the lines, but boy I was wrong. I love the food but please make it easier for us to order.

Impossible to Log In. It’s been a few years now but they still cannot seem to fix the log in issue. I’ve tried over and over to log in to no avail. My credentials allows me to log into my account when using a web browser on my phone or with my computer but the same credentials will never work when it comes to trying to log into this terrible app. I’ve reset my password countless times to try to see if it will work but it never works. This isn’t something new guys. Lol, this is an issue I’ve had for several years now.

Great service. Wonderful service. I ordered through the app and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I walked in after five minutes thinking I would just wait the other 10 minutes but the order was already prepared and waiting on me.

Online Ordering Simply Doesn’t Work. I’m aligned with these other reviewers. Trying to online order something through this app is a nightmare and there's no reason for it to be this buggy. I gave up and went to their full website... Entering credit card info requires you to choose from a drop down list of approved addresses, yet when you select the one that matches your address it just tells you there's no address entered. The loading screens take an inordinate amount of time to do something as simple as adding ketchup to the order.

Non responsive don’t use. I thought to try the restaurant. Downloaded the app three times and the app would be unresponsive at times. Then added duplicate items to the order and at the end couldn’t remove anything. Retried and still the same issues. Checked on my internet speed and connection to make sure it wasn’t the problem and while their next door competitors app worked just fine. Why wouldn’t you guys spend the right money in IT services to make sure you are there with your competitors? Very disappointed.

Unusable app. Tried to log in. Got my password wrong one time and the whole app locked me out of my account. I reset my password and they still had me locked out for 15 minutes. Waited a bit and went back and now I’m being completely blocked from even attempting to log in. Why bother making this app if you can’t even use it? Sometimes it takes people a second to remember which password they used for a site. So locking people out after one incorrect attempt is ridiculous.

This app changed my life and saved my marriage. I lost 40 pounds!. I cannot put into words how this app has helped me. I am a more complete person thanks to the Raising Cane’s app. I think of my life in terms of before I downloaded the Raising Cane’s app and after. Once, I saw the Raising Cane’s app standing on a street corner, and he was waiting to help an old lady across the street. He is a really stand up app.

Finally Raising Cane’s has an app!!. Super easy app! Love that I can now forget my card at home and simply scan! Only edit request I’d make is that when you click hone after ordering it makes you go back to searching the location rather than back to the menu of the location selected. Everything else is simple and functional.

Good food and easy to order app. The food is really good here. I keep forgetting to use my app to order because it’s been “hey let’s stop here” and we go inside and order BUT I finally remembered to use the app to order and it’s stupid easy. The only thing I would change for this place is offering a large size dip instead of individual small dips.

Feels like a banking app!. Guys, I love your chicken, but you’ve got to fix your app! The ridiculous amounts of security (CAPTCHA codes that don’t work right, requiring many multiple attempts), email verification codes that don’t work, etc. I feel like I’m trying to transfer funds at my bank when I’m just trying to order some tasty chicken! The app also randomly logs you out, requiring you go through the aforementioned security protocols again and again. Don’t even get me started on how the Caniac Club interfaces (or rather, doesn’t) with the regular app. Ugh. Please fix this app!

Horrible doesn’t work like it say it will. I order everything I want and pick a time in the future get there exactly at 5:45 and nothing is on the order rack for my food. Then wait 10 min and ask for my order they haven’t even started it and have to wait even longer. Then get my order handed to me and they didn’t give my drinks I ordered and I have to go back up to ask for them. It’s just dumb I order for a specific time and on the app it says the fastest way to get your order is by walking in to pick it up and it just took more time than it would take by just ordering in person.

Not a great experience. The more I try using this app the more apparent it becomes that the company does not care about customer convenience. I can’t log into my account despite numerous password changes and when I try to use the app as a guest without logging in, THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE LOCATION NEAREST TO ME AVAILIBLE. It’s not a situation where this is the one location in my city that doesn’t utilize mobile ordering, they will constantly ask if you are using the app and have promotional material for the app on just about every wall and window of the restaurant. Extremely disappointed

Canes is love, Canes is life. If I could, I would walk through the valley of the shadow of death to bathe in the glorious canes sauce river. Canes could have my children (I don’t have any). I love this app because it allows me to access my beloved canes I so deeply tender and care for, more effortlessly. Canes, if I could speak to your CEO, I would personally thank him for his contributions to this society and shake his hand. - Zach
