math solver.. this app is a legit LIFE SAVER… my struggle is for sure math and this app has saved my grades….literally lol. i totally recommend this app.

i hate this.. If i could give this app 0 stars then i would. You can’t even use it unless you pay for it. Like what? I thought i was just tripping so i asked a basic question and it still told me to pay. This app is so stupid. Don’t get this app unless you plan to spend money!! You’ll just waste your time.

Horrible App. The fact you have to pay for a subscription immediately without even being able to test the product is horrible. I definitely do not recommend!!! It’s not even a good quality app anyways and it should’ve shown that you had to have a subscription in the description to even use the app!

Scam. They claim that the paid version of the app is able to solve more complicated problems, whereas the non-paid version solves less difficult problems/equations, so to prove a point, I put down 2+2=? to see if the truly was a scam, guess what; it brought me to the payment screen. Refute this devs.

NOT RECOMMENDED. *IT IS NOT FREE* i downloaded it for answers to help my homework go faster but also to find a new way to understand how to do it where i dont have to do this. BUT. when i go to type in or take a photo it says. see solution buy premium or sum sort i do not recommend if you are looking for free apps that give u what u are looking for. this it not the app.

Don’t use this app. when i first downloaded this app i was expecting to answer my math question but it just wants me to start a free trial for 3 days i wasn’t happy so i wouldn’t recommend this app if you don’t want to start a free trial or pay for it!!!

Won't solve simple equations of algebra 2. I would not recommend using this app. Even if it translates a photo correctly (and if it doesn't, editing it will be hellish) it winds up telling you it can't do it. But it's supposed to be made for algebra, so make that make sense

Stupid. It’s stupid how you have to pay for it to do anything- how is that fair? If you’re gonna do that just make the whole app buy able so people know, and I honestly hope people didn’t actually pay for it

Works well but subscription is a total scam. Downloaded this app to help with my kid’s algebra. On the plus side, it worked decently well. On the negative side, I somehow got signed up for a weekly subscription. Didn’t even get a warning message like I normally get. Cost is $5 a week which is utterly insane. Download at your own risk.

You are such a scammer literally what’s the point on getting this app if it won’t be solved for you it literally says in the bio it’s free well news flash you need to pay 6,00 each week so you can use the camera to solve the problem for you what’s the point in that I would rather study it by hand but if your so desperate for the money just to earn 6,00 wow your app is a joke

Before you buy. I’ve read the reviews and saw the developer response is always the same or very similar. It’s not free at all. There’s not a free version. They have said the membership was for “complex” problems but the “free” version can’t even do simple math like addition. There’s no problem in my book putting things behind a pay wall, you’ve got to make money but don’t advertise a free version that can’t do ANYTHING. Be honest and be better.

Absolute scam. Can’t believe this. I typed in a problem (which took forever because this app is very sensitive and touchy and will not let me type out the correct thing) and when it went to show the answer it asked me to pay!? No. Absolute scam.

Absolutely no complaints. I love how all the bad reviews are because you have to pay….you privileged lil Sh&$:. Nothing is free. And they are literally giving you the answers. 90% of you are cheating. Stop crying and pay the 10$ so you can get a good grade. Most of us will never use this kind of math again…. With that said. This app has saved me. I been out of school for 10 years. And need to pass 2 math class to proceed to my more important subjects. Love it. Thank you to whoever made this app. You rock!

Garbage. Do not waste your time downloading this once you download it they make you buy a plan and when I press X to try and cancel it I went to try and solve a problem I took a pic and hit solve and they tried to make me buy the plan again. Scam!!!!

It’s just a retarded camera. I downloaded this to help me with math but when I first started it was asking for money but I was able to skip this, then after that i took a picture of the problem and it said it found a solution but then in order to see the answer I must pay. This is so stupid.

Absolutely useless. I needed to find a solution to this algebra problem, but I needed to pay. The most people who would download it would be 6th graders like me. I cannot pay and will not pay for one equation. It is useless, unreliable, and just a cash grab of an app. Don’t ever download it. It is just a waste of your time.

Just Dumb. So I downloaded this app. It would not show me the answer without doing the free 3 day. Once I did that put my problem in to get answer and it could not do so. When after that if would not open at all. Waste of my time. FACEBOOK got me the answer quicker then this crap...

Not what I expected. I tried using the app. Unfortunately is not user-friendly. And I would like a full refund. Also does not give you directions how to unsubscribe. Then it makes it difficult to leave a review.

King fujian. Here’s a good idea, when you make an app like this don’t make people pay for things right off the bat. Make things free and when a person wants better explanations or better answers, then it should ask for a subscription. Anyway I don’t recommend.

DONT GET THIS APP IF YOU ARE IN HIGHSCHOOL!. Hear me out. I use this app to study for my finals. I paid for the 5.99 a week for just 1 week. I didn’t understand anything it explained. The explanation behind the step by step process was confusing. It skips out some parts of the process so you will be confused. There goes my 5.99 that I will never get back!

Pls don’t add cost money!. So I needed help with this algebra problem. I wasn’t in school that day and didn’t know how to do the work. I needed one problem solved so I could copy the work and learn to do it. I hit the camera button and it said that I needed to buy a membership. Um what? Last time I checked the bio said FREE! So I realoded the site and it happened again. I think a lot of people who use this site need a quick solve for some HW. I don’t wAnT a membership. I could see asking for a subscription for a phone editing app but I checked the other reviews and they say the same thing. Don’t buy this app it lies. False advertising really gets me.

Don’t ever download. This app is horrible. You have to pay just for it to solve one problem. It also have a free trial which doesn’t give you notifications about when it’s over. If you have a card connected to your Apple account they will not hesitate to steal money off of it. Again they don’t give any notifications when they do it.

Not good. When I had downloaded the app I was fully expecting for it to be something that I would need money to use. But I never thought I would need money to use it for the first time. I’m a major procrastinator and I needed to do Geometry summer work quickly. But I can’t get the help I need when the app is basically unusable when I’m a teen unable to pay for a stupid app. Just now I’m hoping tomorrow I can find some math apps that are free to use.

It’s not bad nor good. I’d get if it was 5.99 a month but a week?! That’s a lot of money but not just that they only give you the answers which some may be incorrect depending on the problem, I was looking for them to show how they got the answers but it’s not there so this app is not for me. Tried to charge me even after I deleted the app!. I downloaded this to help me figure out a difficult problem for my physics class. It said it came with a free trial. It didn’t work for me so I deleted the app from my phone. I just got a notification that they tried to charge me for this app! Thankfully, my payment method wasn’t updated. NOT HAPPY about this at all!

So Far, So Good!. For a person who generally experiences anxiety over math this app really helps me to find the answers to problems, thus helping me to understand how to come up with answers to problems. The camera takes a little finesse to figure out what to capture. But once you get a match problem to load, you can edit it to your needs. You can type a problem into the solver window, but some items seem to be missing, like the little lines that look like capital I’s.

Terrible. It doesn’t even let you find the solution to the question. First, you scan the math. then after you scan it you get the solution right? WRONG!! You literally have to pay to see the answer it’s so stupid, don’t bother with this app unless you’re willing to pay for a premium membership.

Not worth the money. Very confusing as to how they came up with the answer and they have very little support. They make you pay before actually using it and even after you pay the results aren't worth the money. Found a different app that's free and gave me way more than what this paid garbage did.

Bad app don’t use it AT ALL. This app is horrible first reason why is when I got I was so happy so I scanned it and it asked me to pay like I don’t want to do that but I needed it so I payed so I used it this was the hardest problem on there but when I had my math test I got a F- because I didn’t understand any of the questions on stupid test all because the app didn’t help me learn don’t know if it happened to you but it just gave me the answer I don’t know if it glitch or not I rather just do days of practice then use a app that doesn’t help you learn but you can take my advice or not don’t be like me who got a F- on my test for using a math app not worth it trust me if you want to do good in math studying is the best choice because you will learn stuff get good grades and won’t get in trouble

Unreliable. When I take a picture of a fraction equation i have to put the equal sigh and it might give me the answer but it mainly tells me the formula is wrong even tho for the same type of equation it sometimes gives me the answer so why doesn’t it do it for all the equations if it’s the same set up with different numbers, waste of time!

Bad App. The app is terrible, first off it cost money and even if you pay for it, it won’t right out the problem correctly some will but the ones that are like evaluate the expression etc it won’t do not recommend.

Pay to Win Algebra, Not Worth Download. Essentially, you need to pay to get any answer at all, but the app’s information says nothing of the sort before you download it. It tricks you into thinking you’ll get at least some solutions, only into charging you upon even your first problem. I bet it’s fine if you do pay, though. All in all, this app isn’t worth your time if you don’t want to pay monthly (which in my opinion, is completely unnecessary stealing). Try AIR Math.

Hi this app is a scam let me explain first if you want the app to answer the question it says you need to pay and I think some people do not want to pay that money so I really think it’s a scam when I first tried the app I got real excited I went to go put my camera under the problem and I pressed solve it says you need to pay and I was confused because I thought it was a free app so I’m going to delete it because this is a totally scam so I think nobody should ever ever ever get this app.

Not Free!!!!. In order to see the answer you are forced to pay…what a scam. Apple needs to do better in making sure you can’t download the app because they advertise it as “free” but to actually be able to use it you have to pay.

Cash Grab. The camera app is subpar, and barely works most of the time. You literally have to PAY to use a CALCULATOR. I think enough has been said here. Whatever you do, don’t contribute to this company, they only want one thing: your money. If you’re seeing this, you’re much better off using web browser sites such as Math Papa, and the like. Support THEM. Not this terrible app.

Terrible. I tried the free trial because you have to pay to use the app at all and it would not give me a notification for it to end and if you have your cards hooked up in your phone it will continue to use it every week. I deleted the app and they are still taking my money and there is no way on the app or the website to cancel it. I don’t know how to cancel and it’s freaking me out.

Idk. I don’t know if it was just my phone but it never loaded from what I’ve seen I’m sure it would work if it would load but I had to hold it over the problem for so long. I get so much anxiety over math problems so I was hoping this would work and it just kind of let me down.

Doesn’t show work. It is hard to learn or teach when this doesn’t show the work steps. It does solve the equation but I can’t see how it is done.

not what i expected. i expected this to be similar if not the same as photomath, but when i download it i scanned it for the first time and i was supposed to pay to get the answer. if you want feedback, i would suggest not making you pay to get the answer after scanning it. because in my opinion that’s just ridiculous

Bait and Switch -Not free, not 2 versions. There are NOT 2 versions, as stated in response to other poor reviews. The ‘free’ version only links you to the pay screen every time you tap ‘Solve’.

Scam. I downloaded the app then scanned the problem and then I solved on my own and it was a different answer. I would find I was right and the app was wrong.

Solves trivial problems only. Could not solve the only problem I gave it: Solve 8y=2*arcsin(2x-1)+4*(2x-1)*sqrt(x-x^2)+pi For x That’s the area of a unit circle below a chord at distance x inside from the circumference of the circle. Solving for x gives me the inverse which I can use to shape a probability distribution that matches the chord length. This app can’t solve it. Moreover, you can’t even edit the equation once it spills over onto a new line. Not worth the free trial.

Scam. They have been taking money out of my account for something that does not work. I need to know how to cancel this subscription ASAP. They even charged me twice.
