This is the best game I’ve played in awhile. I finally got both endings and did everything correctly

Vwoorp!. For all doctor who fans, this is a great adventure! It’s no tardis trip, but facing the weeping angels of old is always a way to get your heart pumping. A great story with so much to keep you on your toes. Even for non fans of the show, this game will give you a taste that could draw you in to The Whoniverse! Take the chance and play, it’s brilliant!

Stuck. I got stuck when I tried to enter in the missing persons info in the link . No matter how many times or ways I tried doing it , it told me my info was incorrect! You better have an answer for my problem or I’m deleting the game !!

Great game. This was really well done

So short!. SUPER short game. Like, really short. I felt like I had just been getting started when it was over. BUT that being said, it was fun while it lasted. I wouldn’t really call it a “game” per se. There’s no challenge to it and not really anything that would be considered gameplay, but it was still a fun way to experience a short story. And I love that it picked up right where Blink left off. I’ve always wondered what would happen with that circle of angels! So, it was a good start. Hopefully this is the predecessor to more Doctor Who games like this that are updated and better!

Definitely worth the trip. This is basically an extension of the original Blink episode, but set in the era of the Doctor we know now. Just as tense as Blink, with lots of satisfying references to Doctors past and present. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

I love the game but…. It was such a disappointment that it took me so little time to complete this game. I love the concepts and animations, the story is great. I just wouldn’t pay $3.99 again for this.

Aimed young...no challenge or surprises. This game is visually well done but if you’ve seen the episode Blink there is literally nothing new for you here. There is no challenge to the game - fine if you enjoy a walkthrough with familiar and liked characters, but don’t recommend if you are expecting a challenge or to actually “solve” anything. All is fed to you and there is nothing you do that changes the outcome.

Loved it. I loved the way it played like an episode and I was one of the characters but never seen, and I can’t wait for a sequel

Biggest disappointment. I have played the simulacra game and pipe dreams and Sara is missing and all them blow this monstrosity out of the water. I just do not believe it was made by the same people. The acting was horrible compared to the other ones. No likeable characters and there isn’t even any investigating or things that spice things up or make it seem real. Simulacra 2 being the best game out of all of them was so thought out and had different endings. You really had to think and immerse yourself. This game is the complete opposite I could give it to a two year old and they could figure it out and play it. Zero brain activity needed and the story got so ridiculous unbelievable no likeable characters. It reminds me of a corny action/ attempted horror series come to a game. It’s laughable if anything else. ‘A doctor who’s an alien that time travels who some investigator is friends with?” I didn’t know I was reading a children’s book. I was bored but not angry until that part and then when the investigator nonchalantly says stupid corny preposterous things like “ I died once” with no explanation. Aliens, spirits, the occult, time travel, possessions, coming back from the dead are all interesting if you do it correctly and not just mash them all up in a unbelievable corny child book type of ridiculous. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. the only reason I gave it two stars is because allegedly unless they got it wrong it was made by the simulacra people.

This is awesome. I really enjoyed this. Well worth the money

Loved it!. I absolutely loved this. It was a great interactive story experience and helped give more of the story after Blink. Please do more like this!! Just remember: Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And most of all, don't blink. Good Luck

Great game!. The genre isn’t my favorite, but it had a good story, and it’s Doctor Who!

Fantastic. As a die hard fan of the show, I was enthralled in the thrilling story. While people who have seen the show might find some of the plot twists quite predictable, that didn’t detract from the experience whatsoever. I found myself completely immersed in a gripping story. The puzzles are very clever, and the tension feels very real. This game is not for the faint of heart, as I found myself screaming at some of the jump scares. I do wish it had been a bit longer, as I was able to complete it in under 2 days. The way all of the clues come together at the end is brilliant. Definitely worth the money.

Such a great game, but one major setback. Okay so this game is absolutely amazing. The graphics are great and so is the story. But, I haven’t been able to finish it because it keeps crashing. At first I thought it was fine, but it got to the point to when it crashed it didn’t save my previous data and I had to start all over again. For example, when I had to piece the ‘fragments’ together and delete them so that the weeping angel would be out of the phone. The first two times I tried, it glitched and crashed, causing me to have to start over. The third time I FINALLY made it through deleting the fragments and right as I was done. . .it crashed and I had to start over. Super frustrating. Overall this is a good game, but I wish it didn’t delete what I already did. (I also am on a really good device, so that probably doesn’t have anything to do with it)

Fun for fans. Not the greatest adventure game, in terms of having a ton of agency or alternate paths. But as a fan of Doctor Who, a fun ride

Don’t waste your money. I was so excited to play this. It’s a great concept and I suspect the game itself is fun. However, it’s impossible to know for sure because the game crashes every minute and a half (not an exaggeration). I’ve tried everything they have recommended. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve turned my phone off and on so many times. Don’t waste the $3.

10/10. Exceeded my expectations. Great game.

Really fun. This reminded me of what I loved about the text adventures of old with a very modern flair that takes advantage of today’s technology.

Too short. I finished it within 2 hours. It was fun but disappointing

Fun, but short. I enjoyed it, I wish it were longer and never more options but it’s very exciting!

Brilliant!. Great mystery game but too short. It would be cool if it had alternative endings. Played it once by myself then in the dark with my bff. Not worth $3 if you’re not a doctor who fan but if you are then defiantly.

Amazing !!!. I loved it all tho not a fan of doctor who but still good to play

DOCTOR WHO: THE LONELY ASSASINS!. Okay. So, when I 1st started this game. It was a awesome experience because the weeping Angel kinda scared the crap out of me but still. Awesome game but sometimes if you get stuck in a specific level/mission, always look up a walkthrough, it helps! BEST GAME EVER! #DOCTORWHO!

This is a must have for fans of the Doctor. Bonus if you are a fan of interactive fiction. For me this was reminiscent of the old school text adventures but on steroids. You basically get to be in an episode of Doctor Who by interacting with the phone in the app. The puzzles aren’t difficult but they are satisfying. A short but very fun adventure. Don’t blink! Note to devs: a nice addition might be a notepad app to jot down things you might need later.

Fun Whovian Pastime. That was fun. Sure if you’ve seen the show you kind of know what’s around the corner, but it didn’t detract at all. Hopefully they’ll come up with future storylines!

GET THIS NOW. If you are a Whovian get it NOW! This is amaZing!!! Also WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T BLINK!

So enjoyable. Apart from jumping a mile every time a weeping angel came on screen a most most enjoyable game ! Great play for any doctor who fans old and new

A blast!. As someone who has a fear of the Weeping Angels I had a lot of fun with the game! It has some good playback value so that you can try to complete the game 100% and I think that it would be a good introduction to new Whovians as well.🤗

AWESOME FANTASTIC. This game is a real gem!!! It was so fun to play, I had such a great time!!

Can’t wait for the next one!. I really liked it! I hardly EVER buy the full game of anything. I enjoyed every part of it, there’s so many aspects I can’t list them all. Can’t wait for the next one! Soon please!

Brilliant and terrifying!. A very fast playthrough (working quickly, only skimming the text, etc) takes about an hour and 45 minutes. I’d say an average playthrough in which you read everything would be somewhere around 2.5-3 hours. It’s mostly text and image based with a few audio/video segments, including audio from Osgood (a main character) and a clip from the 13th Doctor at the end. Beware of the jump scares and ‘glitching’ screen, which is a part of the game. Overall, I thought it was great! I think the ideal age for this is teenagers (13+ ?), but adults can enjoy it too. Probably not suited for children as there are several jump scares.

So much potential! Add more please!. So I finished it a few days ago. And yeah it could have been so much more. I liked it... I think it has potential but it’s very short and suddenly over. The disco ball solution was perfect and probably the best part. And I think that there can be a great Doctor Who phone game. There was so much to work with that they could have done. I feel like they made a quick and easy. I wouldn’t mind so much if maybe they added content at some point, but right now there’s just so much wasted potential. Thirteen Doctors and all those companions and all we got was a short game. Add more! Add the Doctor’s Daughter! Torn between 2 and 3 stars because I like it but it needs more. Please update!

Stopped working. The game is stuck on the part right after Flint’s call. Osgood’s last comment to me is “Go go go.” There are no more clues to scan or send, and nothing else to do. I want a refund.

Fun game however.... I enjoyed the concept of the game abs the storyline. However, I wish it was longer and I wish there was more required of me in regards to skills needed/ puzzles to solve. I think this could be expanded and that the developers will update it and add more aspects. There is potential for more here but I did enjoy it.

Positive review. Compared to previous games in this genre this was short but I was a good

What. A. Ride.. That was AMAZING. I just finished playing Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, and it was PERFECT. I’m a huge fan of the show, and my favorite episode is Blink, so this was right up my alley. It took me two days to play the game, so it has a lot of play-time (although I secretly wish it had been longer). I love how it brought back some of our favorite character (Osgood!! And Larry!) from Doctor Who but added some new, interesting characters. It is so well-written and so well put together. I’ve tried some of the Doctor Who games in the past and I just was never impressed. This is incredible and well-worth the price. I love the idea of a “found phone” game and this one executes it flawlessly. I honestly felt like I was present in a Doctor Who episode—my dream come true! So thank you for that! Overall, it was just FUN. I even screamed once with one of the jump scares! At the end, it tells you what you accomplished, and what parts you missed, so now I have reason to give it a second play-through! Loved it!

Cool Game. Awesome game that keeps you wanting to play until you finish. Very great concept.

Felt like a one-shot episode. I really enjoyed this game, full of mystery and adventure. Definitely recommend for fans of Tennant era Doctor Who!

Disappointed. When I first saw this coming out I was so excited I thought maybe it would have the same game play as the vr game out but of course for your phone. The puzzles are a joke there is none. I finished this in a few hours. I honestly would only charge a dollar for this. All you did is “scan” and tap on the reply you want. I was expecting more specially with how it was advertised.

Scavenger hunt + Escape Room = This Title!. Just a plain load of phone with a perfect blend of find objects, clues, solve riddles, puzzles, and a fast-paced dash of an “escape room”, and you have yourself some Lonely Assassins! Hats off and cheers for the great title! Would be phenomenal to have more adventures with Osgood and The Doctor!

Really fun. I had a lot of fun with this even though I’m not a Doctor Who fan. It’s a little too cheesy to be really scary, but very absorbing and hard to put down.

.. Keep getting crashed

Doesn’t work. I’m reading about an update that fixes black screen but not working for me. Can’t even play it

Too short & predicatable. Loved the theme of the weeping angels, but sadly since the Angel episodes are my favorite I knew exactly what happened right from the beginning. Using the episode of Blink as a guide really gave away the ending. The tasks were super easy and I finished the game in maybe 2 hours if not less. Would have liked it better if it was a new adventure with the Angels and your choices mattered. Definitely too short and too easy of a game, but seeing the old characters return was fun.

I’d Love More!. An excellent cast of characters brought back for a game where we can participate (from a distance) in a Doctor Who adventure? Sign me up! I loved the originality of the game, the use of video and audio, and the puzzles (although I could always take a few more puzzles). I hope there’s a sequel!

Multidimensional fun. Fun game with many layers. Well worth the cost, especially if you are a Dr. Who fan.

Very fun for fans or anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Top notch!

A fun time. I gave this app a 4 star and wish I could have split it to 4.25 or so. As a huge fan of the TV series I’ve been wanting a proper app to come out so was really excited to find this. The premise is simple, you find someone’s phone and strange things start happening, but the story line is very good. The game is a bit short which lowers the rating from 5 to 4 in my opinion. They have actors from the show so the acting is what you would expect, very good. The story is intriguing as well. All in all a solid, short game. Honestly, unless the ratings were crap I’d have gotten it anyway just to show the developers that there is a huge and underserved fan base here.

Great for Doctor Who fans!. I was super excited to find this game. It is a bit short, as others have said, but that didn’t bother me at all. I think it was definitely worth the money. The story line is interesting even to fans and the acting is great. All in all I would absolutely recommend this game to fans and non fans alike!

Just one nitpick. I’m really enjoying the game, but the intro video sequence before the main menu seems to run at a very low bit rate/resolution for me. The main menus and the rest of the game runs perfectly and I’m on an iPhone 8 so not terribly outdated hardware

Does not work - waste of $4.50. This game has never worked for me on my iPad Air. I’ve tried the updated version of this game and had an OS update but nothing will get me pass the black screen after trying to start a game.

More than a gimmick.. This game invites the same level of immersion as the Simulacra games. As a long time fan of Doctor Who, it is exciting to play in the world, use web searches in game, find the Easter eggs, and I want to say more but it will ruin some outstanding moments. Osgood is a brilliant and fun character. I hope she will be in the next Doctor Who found phone game. There will be another one. Right? Please?

Doesn’t work. It says please enter your pattern to unlock but does not tell you how to set a pattern. What a waste of $4.50

AMAZING !. As a massive fan of Doctor Who (literally since I was a baby) this game is amazing and nice little Easter egg to fans! It was especially good to see Osgood, Larry and Natasha again, as well as hearing about Sally and Rani <3

That was fun. It’s like being in a Dr Who story and a panic room at the same time. It was good fun and nostalgic too, with references to Blink, Day of the Doctor, Rosa and other great episodes too. 👍🏻👍🏻

Will there be more?. I loved the game but I ended up finishing in one day after reaching the end credits!! Will there be different levels and challenges? Or just one game..

Amazing. I love it soooo much and can’t wait for me like this

Great little experience. Such a nice time playing this game. The concept held close to the same feelings as watching an episode of Doctor Who. Thanks for the development of this.

Lots of fun. If you’re a fan of Doctor Who, the game is a sorta sequel to one of everyone’s favourite episodes. It’s a fun phone mystery full of great references to past episodes. My only (small) gripe is I wish it was a little longer

Excellent Phone Game. Lots of fun, just tricky enough to keep you amused. Many different mediums to find the clues. Wish it was longer with additional chapters/adventures! *hint hint*!!

Can’t play. It’s asking for ‘my pattern’. What ? I preordered it but now I can’t play. Help

Superbly executed. Full disclosure: I’m biased - Blink was the episode that got me hooked on Doctor Who. However I’m not so biased that I would give an app 5 stars if it didn’t deserve it, and my bias ensures I’d dock stars for lack of faithfulness to the source material. I’m happy to report the app gets full marks across the board. First off, an original Nightingale plus Osgood? That right there is almost enough to get me to say “take my money!” I don’t want to give any details about the story lest I give anything away but I will say the story follows Blink in a reasonable and believable manner. Actors and story are nothing without execution. Simply put, the app is brilliant. Production values are extremely high across all media and the interface is solid. It’s glitch-free, responsive, and is an excellent representation of a phone. In fact it’s so good I actually played through on my phone for the full found-phone experience. I never play games on my phone, only my iPad. In fact I had less trouble navigating the game phone screen than I often do with iOS 😆 The only thing I’d change about the interface is to add a way to force a save or increase the frequency of saves. I had to play through a part I’d completed because my progress wasn’t saved when I quit. Granted, the game is on rails but necessarily so. Even though I could see where things were going before Osgood and “me in the game” I didn’t find the game boring at all, quite the opposite. I got sucked in and was engaged in the story, and really what more could I ask for? Spend the money, this is totally worth the few dollars being asked. While you do that I’m going to play through again because I didn’t complete all the parts, darn it!

Doesn’t work on iPhone. Doesn’t work on iPhone, don’t buy this

Amazing for anyone wanting puzzles seeped in Angel lore.. Fantastic! Z

Love Osgood. She deserved a better game And how they treat Sally is a joke

Can’t play. It will NOT load on my phone for whatever reason. I have the iPhone 11

Idk.... to short??. It was a good game but I felt it was short and not much to it. Not worth the $3
