I love the game! But there’s this weird bug... I seriously adore this game i was super excited once it got on iOS! But there’s this bug.. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who had this but I’ll talk about it anyway. So there’s this weird bug where I start the game and it shows the regular image of monomi and Monokuma waving at the screen however after that the screen is just black i thought I had to wait a bit but it was still black I’m currently still unable to play the game due to this..

its amazing but i have a few problems. ok so this game is literally SO MUCH fun!! :D the characters are interesting, and some i feel like i really relate to, but for some reason since saturday or sunday(i dont remember) i went to play it on the way while my parents where driving me to their friends house and it said to download data or something like that and i needed to internet then it said “yes” and also “no” so i just clicked yes and ever since i tried to play it, its just a black screen.:((( and i dont wanna delete it because ive made so much progress. [also you guys should definitely add ultra despair girls and v3 cause i reallyyy wanna get v3]

My obsession over danganronpa:). amazing and looking forward to mobile ultra desperate girls and v3!!! I really like this series of game, at first when I bought it I was like hm looks fun let’s give it a try then I quickly got in love with it. I was so amazed by the plots in DR1, so when I bought DR2 I was kind of worry that what if it’s the same kind of story and ending? But it successfully proved that I was wrong, it could only be better and better, I can’t imagine how good a game could be till I played the danganronpa series. I think I talk too much but I looooooove it!!!!! Never a wrong choice to buy it!

Great game, but PARENTS BEWARE. I wanna start off by saying that this game is fantastic, it has great writing, great graphics, and amazing characters, plus, this port lives up to its predecessor. THAT BEING SAID this game is not suitable for most children and shouldn’t have been rated 12+. The entire danganronpa series is rated Mature, and for good reason! These games include lots of gore, death, suicide, sex, innuendos, and swearing. If you’re a parent with a child that may not be able to handle all of the things listed above, consider not letting them play it. The executions are definitely enough to traumatize a young child.

A Big Bug!. Hi! I’ve began to play Danganronpa 2, and I love it so far and finally made it through the first trial (it was amazing!) but there’s a problem with the game, when I’m about to find the second body in the pool house, my screen turns black and nothing happens, then I have to go through the whole thing again. I’ve tried a playing it in Gentle and Kind game modes but both of them just stop when I’m about to find her body. Can you please help with this because I can’t get the other Manga and I really want to finish the series! Thanks, -Vinny

This is my favorite game… but…. (Danganronpa 2 Chapter 3 spoilers) Sonia should’ve died instead of Hiyoko. I love Sonia and hate Hiyoko but Hiyoko felt like she was going to be redeemed, only to die last second. (Which… Kinda is what happened). Sonia doesn’t have much to add to the story, and while she’s a good character she doesn’t seem like the type to survive. And I know Mikan had… abuse… in her past, which is why her execution was like that, but it didn’t make any sense whatsoever. The game made her a fan service character that’s s*xualized more than she should be, and then she dies like that as a fan service character. If it was trying to go for an execution that is similar to her backstory they did a terrible job. If they wanted it to be about being mistreated, I could come up with tons of execution ideas. Like, hands that touch her all over, scratching her with extremely sharp and long nails, and then ripping her apart. Or, she could’ve had a bunch of Monokuma’s pour milk on her, write on her, push her in mud, and then throw things at her until she dies from her injuries. That’s just off the top of my head though. Mikan was my favorite, and still is.

I really love this game. I love this game so much it’s so fun but there’s is one problem that I don’t like, So when I open the app it didn’t work so I restarted my iPad and it still didn’t work the screen was black so I had to delete the app and start everything over and it worked so that’s good but it’s okay it’s still a fun game but could you fix that glitch when you open the app then everything goes black so please fix it it’s still a awesome game.

A few issues, but otherwise great!. I was very excited when I heard the Danganronpa series was coming out on mobile devices, and I’ve played both THH and SDR2 on my phone now. Both ports were excellent; neither of the games ever crashed or had any major issues. However, there are a few minor problems that I’ve encountered. One is that sometimes after the number “100” shows up in dialogue (occasionally others, but this was only in THH), the rest of the text in that dialogue doesn’t show up. I’m assuming this has to do with the usage of the percent symbol, but I’m not sure. The same thing happens when you pull up the text log, so you can’t read what it says at all. Another issue is also with the text log; occasionally, the text will be overlapped (sometimes with numbers? it was very hard to read) and you have to restart the game to check the text log again. My final issue is that in SDR2, the map of Strawberry House won’t show up on the screen when it should. Grape House’s map does, but Strawberry House’s doesn’t. I haven’t found a way to fix this. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was confusing at first. Aside from these three minor issues, these ports are great and I enjoyed playing them. I’m looking forward to DRV3 mobile as well :)

Overall really good just some minor issues. I really like the ports I can finally play the games. There’s just a few minor things I’d like to mention. In chapter six when the screen does that glitching thing, the sides of the screen won’t change I think because a phone screen is wider then a computer screen. And for the final nonstop debate once you shoot the future bullet thing it doesn’t let me re-aim it so I had to go through the cycle like 6 times for it to end. Also sometimes when a ‘ appears in a word this random gap shows up for some reason. This glitch only happened in chapter two for some reason in the closing argument the music didn’t play and when I finished the comic thing the counter thing went on the screen on the wrong place. These are just minor bugs they don’t ruin the game and I think this is a really good port 😊

Great game, greater port. I’m so very glad I can finally play the Daganronpa games on my mobile device since before I wasn’t able to get the games on anything else. I got this day 1 but I wanted to wait for a review until I was deep in the game just in case I ran into a game-breaking bug or any bugs that were in there got patched (like the music not playing during climax return and whatever not and now that I’m a ways deep into the game (middle of chapter 3 as of the time I am writing this) I can say that this is a solid port. I watched a gameplay video of the first chapter for comparison and this is almost a 1:1 port (obviously with lower quality visuals since it’s on mobile). I was a bit worried when I got it about crashing and lag since it was a problem for some people on other devices on the first game, but I don’t think I have to worry much about it since my IPad Air 2 ran it fine with little to no issues (however there is a bit of lag and frame drops when I’m walking between Islands or loading larger areas). I still save regularly just in case though. All in all I give this a solid 9/10. Also Chiaki is best girl.

I’m a bit confused.. I’ve already seen someone with the same problem with THH. So basically the problem is that I can’t even get into the game without seeing the title screen and then the game crashing immediately after. I don’t know if there is a compatibility problem or my iPad is outdated because someone did have the same exact problem so I know I’m not the only one who has this problem. I tried resetting my iPad multiple times, I tried hard resetting, I tried deleting the game and re-downloading it and still nothing. I personally believe that there’s a problem with having to update the game since this game has not been updated apparently since five months. Two out of five stars for now.

I can’t pass trial one but overall, yes.. I’ve played al games before, read all the manga and watched all the animes, perfect order. (Even hundreds of fanfics) So i decided to try the 2nd game via mobile. So I get through chapter one and then I get to the trial. I don’t understand how to change a truth bullet, so I can’t even get past the first few minutes. But I love danganronpa and I have a DR themed room and plushes and figures and mangas and (hifumi) ya(ma)da yada so this was a great extra! I’m probably just being dumb, where the cylinder switch is in plain sight, or are others having this issue? 🦆 otherwise thanks! Danganronpa is a blessing

Yeah it good but one problem.... So it’s veary good and amazing and I’m glad that I can play the game and do all the things, and investigation, and free time, but when its in the almost last of the class trial and you do the taping game I can’t get it bc it lags way to much and when you do it right it says your doing it wrong. So I atleast need some help on it bc it dosent help when your on mobile and can’t play it when you worked hard for it to the point where you gonna take a break after 3 mounths of confusion and breaks.

Amazing game but there are some bugs. I’ve alway wanted to play danganronpa 2 and now I finally can on my iPad! But there are some bugs the first thing is that when you enter the game sometimes the screen would take a lot of time to load the second thing Is that in chapter 2 the body discovery wouldn’t load I mean after I hear the monokuma announcement It was in the beach house then I enter the beach house but then the body wouldn’t load the screen would just be black even after when hajime says the things he says the screen is still black so please i’de appreciate it if those bugs were fixed because I really like danganronpa and this game also is very expensive so I don’t want my money to go to waste so I really hope these bugs are getting fixed

The best game. Though I’m still waiting for the third game and summer camp to come out on mobile this is one of my favorite games one of my friends got me into it also I saw that you guys helped with the production of Pokémon mystery dungeon which is cool so thank you although there are a few bugs like I cannot access it while off-line I barely have any complaints about the game keep up the good work spikechunsoft i’m sorry if there were grammatical errors auto correct is a bit weird I can’t wait for V3 to come out on mobile same with summer camp for the meantime stay safe everyone Jasper out :)

I adore these games, just one thing I really need to know. I’m an avid fan of Danganronpa, I have played all of the games on Playstation. I have no issues with dialog not appearing or anything of that sort as I’ve seen others say. During trials, specifically during the “rebuttal shutdown” section I cannot seem to use my truth blade, no matter what I try. The help section says something along the lines of “hit the draw button”, but I cannot find the draw button. It’s incredibly frustrating, because even when I know what to do, I cannot seem to get the game to do it. Help? Where is the draw button? :(

My game boot locked. I was playing danganronpa two yesterday and I love the game a lot. The characters are great. I was trying to save the game and when I clicked the button that would take me to save nothing came up. And when I reloaded the app it kiddingly showed me a screen that says BOOT LOCK and it’s giving me a place to put in a password. I have no idea what the password is. Please fix this because I love this game and I don’t want to delete it because I will loose all my progress. And if I have to do that then I will loose interest in the game and I don’t think I’ll play to get back where I was.

Very fun! though i think theres a small bug... Im on the 6th chapter at the part where you have to awaken and then fill the truth bullet but once the bullet shoots all the sentences it just starts over. i googled a gameplay to see if this was supposed to happen and apparently its not and i dont know whats wrong with it. if there is something to do that can fix this bug than it would be nice because i would love to complete the game. thank you! Edit: I figured out how to get it to work somehow. If anyone needs help i think i just closed the app completely and opened it back up. And reminder: dont worry if you didnt save recently because you can just use the autosave.

boot lock????. hello!! I’m a huge fan of danganronpa, and I was really excited to play sdr2 on mobile. but around the beginning of the 3rd chapter, I got a black screen with a message saying “boot lock” and a password to enter. Of course, I had no idea what to enter, so I was stuck on that screen. The only solution I had was to delete the app and to reinstall it, therefore deleting all my progress. So I replayed from the very beginning, which was annoying because I had gotten pretty far in the game, and then at chapter three, I got the SAME message again. This is REALLY annoying, and I’ve seen other people have this problem. Is there a way to get past it? Otherwise, it’d be really cool to fix the bug. Thank you!

I want to kiss Gundham Tanaka. Him. He is so pretty and wonderful. I hope Gundham Tanaka has a good day. He is so great. He deserves the world. I played the game specifically for him. He is so so so beautiful. His hamsters are also great, but he’s the real winner here. I hope he has a nice birthday too. It’s not close to his birthday or anything, but I still hope he has a nice birthday. He’s just so 🥰! Ugh I think he’s so incredible. He deserves the entire world. I’d let him lord of darkness right into my heart and soul. He could literally cast an evil spell on me and I’d still be happy to kiss him. My gosh. Wow. He’s incredible. This is a great game, because Gundham Tanaka is in it.

It’s good! But a little problem with the speed. During the first trial I got down to the part where you had to break the shields or something but it went to fast for me to see to the thing and to the point where I couldn’t even see them and I failed so I went back into the game when I realized it was gone I had to restart the whole thing but I didn’t want to because I was already close to the end and it takes a while to get to the end I honestly kinda wish I went slower

I love this game!. I’m a huge Danganronpa fan and I want to play it all the time but even I know I can’t bring a laptop or computer with me everywhere so when I heard it was coming on IOS,Android,ect I was exited I bought Danganronpa:1 and Danganronpa: 2 I didn’t have problems with trigger happy but when I played Danganronpa: 2 In the beginning there was a phew screen glitches when the main protagonist was introducing themselves and when chapter 2 came to discovering a body the game totally crashed and I didn’t save the game so I had to restart to the beginning of chapter 2 but it was pretty easy to get back to were I was from fast forwarding the conversations other that the game was a total success for me on IOS 10 out of 10 and can’t wait for Danganronpa v3 killing harmony to come out on IOS if it does

WOW WOW WOW. Okay, so I never leave reviews on apps like ever, but my god was this game one of the best games i’ve ever played. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but just wow-. I got it after watching the anime, and was hesitant based on how long the lets plays are, but if you read at a fairly fast pace and do well in the trials it won’t be TOO long. (it only took me 27 hours). I understand how it crashes on some phones, however my iphone XR ran it fine with no difficulties at all. Just if your phone can handle it, play it, you 100% won’t regret it. (I wish I could say more but I don’t want to spoil anything and everything else i’ll say has spoilers lol)

Good game, minor bugs.. SPOILERS BELOW Sometime when clicking on stuff it’s won’t register, and the hit boxes for the text in class trials are sometimes off. But right now I am stuck. In the final dead room. You need to pick up the wire hanger. But the number 5 is behind it, so whenever I try to interact with it, it just interacts with the “5”. I really love this game and I really think that even if you have played this game before it really is worth it just for the ultimate gallery alone, but currently until these bugs are fixed. Just stick to the PC/Vita versions.

It’s just how I imagined!. As most who bought this app, I’m a huge Danganronpa fan! Though I never played any of the games and the day I found out that Danganronpa is releasing on mobile, I instantly bought it. I read many bad reviews about issues people ran into, but I never ran into those for some reason. I was able to finish the game without errors. The only problem I had, which isn’t a big deal for me, is the chat. The chat you can look back on if you tapped too many times over something or if you weren’t paying attention. For some reason, sometimes the text would merge and once, it even kept merging “T R A I T O R” together. Kind of creepy but other than that, I had a very smooth experience!

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE VIDEO GAME, NOW ON MOBILE!!!. I couldn’t be happier!!! Danganronpa is my all time favorite video game series and Danganronpa 2 is my all time favorite game so having it on mobile is a dream!!! It was perfect on my iPhone 8. Recently, however, I switched over to iPhone 12 and the screen optimization isn’t the best so I had to knock off a star. The characters names (when they’re talking) are cut off my the notch! Though I know who’s talking when because they’re on the screen, and I already know the characters beforehand as this is not my first time playing, it’s just annoying to have the names cut off. Please fix this!!! Thank you so much again for porting this amazing game series to mobile!!! ❤️

favorite danganronpa game by far!. I absolutely LOVE danganronpa I’m a part of the fandom myself, not in the toxic part if you know what I mean by “toxic”, Sdr2 is definitely my favorite it has great characters great voice actors and I feel like I got the full experience even though I don’t have a PC or console platform, it’s also nice it’s not 50-60$ like it was on steam so I’m glad about that. The 16$ was definitely worth it, it didn’t take to long to download but it wasn’t like a normal fast download but thats because it does take up a couple GB that was fine honestly. PTA in the trials definitely was hard for me but I’m bad at games like that so- I guess it’s not hard for everyone! I 100% recommend buying this game, it’s 100% worth it, and it deserves WAYYYY more than 5 stars! :D have a good day if you’re reading this <3

Game is entirely broken. There is a game breaking bug that stops me from getting through the first class trial! When I get to the closing argument, and inevitably the images I need are used up, the fake ones won't go away so I can move to in to the next set. I've tried everything; restarting the game, starting from an earlier save file, deleting and redownloading (and subsequently having to start the game over from the beginning) and NOTHING will fix this glitch. I know the left over images aren't useable because the exact images are already in the comic itself. I really don't know what else I can do. If this is fixed, my review would be 5/5 because it's otherwise an excellent port, but I just can't progress!

Great, but weird bootlocking?. I just got this game like 2 days ago and i’m really confused. I was about to start the first class trial, but i had to do something for my mom. When I came back, I open the game and it gave me a boot lock notification. I had to delete the game and reinstall. People are saying it’s an old glitch that’s been fixed but for me at least it hadn’t. Other than that, I love the game already. It’s got funny moments, but also the creepiness everyone loves about Danganronpa, and even with a pretty unique art style and story, even compared to the last one. Would definitely recommend!! Edit: I believe to stop the boot lock you may have to keep the game open in the background. If i had the app completely for over an hour it would boot lock, but otherwise it was fine. I recently finished chapter 6, and let me tell it was amazingly written and I totally cried. I’ve bumped my review from 4-5 stars.

Amazing game, many bugs. I’m sure from reading al the other reviews you can grasp that this really is a great game, but there’s a few bugs i’d like to get fixed. For example, there’s many strange text spaces after a ‘. And, if a text box has a %, then anything after that doesn’t show up. Also, in the 5th trial, you’re pretty much forced to complete it with minimal mistakes as the influence gauge doesn’t refill [thank god i don’t save during trials]. Anyways, yeah, this game is incredible and if anyone who hasn’t bought this is reading this review then please please get it. It really is good. I’m just hoping the devs can fix some of the major bugs in it. Ciao!

Good game so far, but the boot lock.. I don’t read whatever language that is. (kanji?) I was playing and was in the first class trial near the end. and I was planning on binging it. I had to do something really quick so I saved my game, then I exited the game and did my thing and went back on and the screen said it was boot locked. I got really confused and searched it up online before i did anything irrationally. Some people on Reddit said that the screen said it would start again without the boot lock entry thing. So I’m just currently waiting an hour, and I suggest those who’ve been boot locked do that too before anything. I couldn’t find the password anywhere online.

Lovely!. I wrote a review in the same hour that this game was released, but I guess it didn’t go through! That’s fine though! Great game! There is this one glitch where if I have no more hearts and if I proceed to the next part of the trial it says, Game Over. Then, when I press Try Again or whatever, it says game over again! I’m always having to redo the whole trial again, and try not to lose any hearts or else it’s going to do that thing again. All in all, it’s a great game, so I’m still giving it 5 stars!

Fantastic and improves upon the original in every way!. This sequel to the murder mystery series may take a little longer to get started but this one contains even more mysteries and strange occurrences resulting in a fascinating and thrilling tale set in the in tropical paradise of Jabberwock Island. Because there is more going on here than originally seems to be, this is a much more disturbing and sinister story with some macabre things taking place in the shadows. The cast in my opinion is one of the best in the series and Nagito Komaeada is a big reason for a lot of the drama and suspense involved in the story yet still remains a fan favorite character. Hajime Hinata is a student who has always wanted to attend Hopes Peak Academy and when he gets his wish, little does he know what horror awaits him once he enters those gates. This plus the anime film based on the game together will help you piece it all together and it is masterful storytelling at its finest!!

Great game!. The sound of this game is really crisp and clean. Some people are saying that there game crashes, I think it’s been patched or it is a problem with their device. Also some people have trouble in chapter 2 when it says “ down five huh” The way you get past this is pull down the stick/ arcade stick and do it 5 times. After all that they patched a ton of stuff. So if you do not have a PC and tout are a danganronpa fan then I think this game is worth the money. This is just my opinion have a great day everyone :)

omg. omg i love this game so much. i’m a huge anime freak and this anime takes it to the topppp. the first reason, i love mystery games and this game definitely is a mystery game. you are the main protagonist and you see everything from a first person point of view from hajime hinata. the killer is always someone you wouldn’t expect which makes the game so much more interesting. my second reason is that it’s so detailed when you start investigating the murder scene, the creators were brilliant to make such an outstanding way for someone to be murdered (that sounds weird but- play the game you’ll see 😀). like the first kill was so interesting to investigate- all of them were really!! this will be my second time playing this game. i will be buying the next one. i have one last thing. this has nothing to do w/ the game but my favorite characters are definitely fuyuhiko (even if he swears a lot), hiyoko, and ibuki. the friendships between everyone in this game is so unbelievable. i really do recommend this game if you are as much of an anime freak as moi. 🎉🎉

Had to restart due to glitch. The game was great to play I loved it if this didn’t happen I would rate 5 stars but there was a small little glitch that happened when I was in the middle of chapter 2:so I took a break and did something else and when I logged back in I couldn’t access the game no matter how many hours I waited I couldn’t play and it would only work until after I uninstalled the game and redownloaded it and When I did I lost all my progress so the game is great but this glitch was alittle irritating and hope this glitch goes away one day

Rebuttal Showdown Bug. I love the app so for but I've consistently gotten had issues with the rebuttal showdown section in all of the class trials. I don't know if I'm experiencing a bug or it's just because my phone is older (iphone 7) but the game will sometimes not register that I'm slicing through specific targets when in a rebuttal showdown. I've tried restarting the game, replaying the section and restarting the trial from a different save file but I'm still having major issues with the rebuttal showdowns. It's gotten so bad that I'm unable to progress through the story. If anyone else is experiencing this and knows a remedy please let me know.

Bootlocks, and Twilight Syndrome. Hello, I’ve always wanted to play Danganronpa for awhile but I didn’t have a computer, so I decided to spend my money on DR2, and well, I’ve deleted it and re-downloaded it over 7 times, all because of boot locks. Usually, I can tell it’s going to happen when my mono pad goes blank when I open it, and then I have to re-download and restart, but this time, all I did was get past prologue and without warning, the next time I opened it I got boot locked, can you please tell me the bootlock password or help? I’m getting really tired of restarting and getting my hopes up. Edit: So it’s finally stopped bootlocking, and now I’m on the chapter 2 investigation doing Twighlight Syndrome’s True Mode, down five isn’t working. I’m not sure if I’m pressing the right buttons though, I’ve been pressing the blue button, and it isn’t working. It just keeps repeating “Down Five.. huh.”

I love it but I’m having an issue. ⚠️My review will contain spoilers for the second chapter please be cautious reading⚠️ I really enjoy this game but I’ve been having a serious issue. I’m not sure if this is just me but ever time I get to mahirus body discovery my screen goes black. I can tap the screen and the tapping sparkle thing shows up but it doesn’t do anything. I’m also unable to save my progress when this happens so when I tried to exit the game to try again, I lost the progress I had made. Anyway my game is seriously glitching so if you get this game the same might happen to you😞

Great!. I’m not even done with the game and it is outstanding. I got this the day of release so I did expect there to be some problems. But most new games have them so I understand. So far the only glitch I found was in the class trial, when I swipe the white noise it does not go away. I’m doing it the same way as the first game. I’m sure that will be fixed in no time! Other than that no major glitches. Keep up the good work! Your games are incredible!

Very good game, love it, but one problem…. So, I recently finished chapter 1 and yesterday I was gonna start chapter 2, but when I opened the game, it showed a “bootlock” screen and a password thing. I had to uninstall it and reinstall it, it worked, it’s not there anymore, but now I loss my progress. I’ve noticed that other people have actually been having this problem as well, but I couldn’t find a solution to fix it without uninstalling the game. If possible, can you guys try to fix this problem?

Loved it until…. I first downloaded this game about 2 years ago. I was super happy that Danganronpa was on mobile and I was enjoying the game very much… until the first class trial. The trial was fine, all the mechanics worked as they should, but when it got to the Panic Talk Action minigame I could NOT beat it. Eventually, I just gave up and deleted Danganronpa. I just redownloaded the game and played until the first trial like before and I’m still having a problem with PTA. This is probably more of a skill issue than an actual game issue, but the PTA minigame is incredibly frustrating. I don’t know if it’s just a mobile problem, maybe its easier on PC or Xbox or something, but I genuinely can’t move past the PTA minigame and I won’t be able to enjoy the rest of the game because of it. I wish I could just get past the first trial and enjoy the game, but I know I can’t do that unless I get past the PTA, so I’m just discouraged every time I open the app.

boot lock. hey, I was playing this game, and all of a sudden the game started itching, i couldn’t save my progress, and i couldnt touch anything, so I refreshed the game. But when I did it showed a grey screen and then a screen saying “boot lock” I don’t know why but its been like that for 2 hours it more. I’m honestly scared because I payed for it and its a fun game ofcourse but none of it makes sense because I can’t keep playing it and no matter what even if I just tap the screen it says incorrect password and i dont wanna delete the game and download it again because all of my progress will be lost and, I was in the last chapter i think, chapter 0&6 and It would take very long for it to get to the exact place I was. I’m not sure what it is but I already tried most of the things I can do, if this can be fixed pls tell me .

Great game!!! But…. I love Danganronpa, I’m a big fan of the games and the story, as I’ve played all of them. I used to play this game on my iPad, but then it broke. I don’t know if this was because of the huge game or technical issues, but one other complaint is that there is no iCloud save. I’m always on my toes having this game in my library, worried that it’s going to get deleted and I’m going to have to play 35 hours of Super Danganronpa 2 again. Nevertheless, this is definitely my favorite game out of the series, and if I had to choose to play it again for the first time or don’t, I definitely would.

edit to my previous review: very satisfied. I originally wrote a review stating that I would’ve given 5 stars if I wasn’t facing technical difficulties. I ended up emailing itunes as well as the company of danganronpa and they were very kind to help me resolve the issue. Something hadn’t downloaded all the way through which had resulted in me not being able to continue the game, but now that I finished the in app download everything seems to be working smoothly. Very happy with the service and the game thanks!

PERFECT....but some bugs...(no Gonta not animal bugs🧍‍♀️). I love Danganronpa more that I love my life. And this game is perfect! Nagito is still sexy, Hajime is hot, Fuyuhiko sounds like Kokichi, and Hiyoko is still mean :) The first few days of playing this was fun, but then it randomly shows a black screen and doesn’t continue. When I found the second dead body, it just all turned black. I thought it was just a glitch, so I left it for a few minutes but still didn’t work. So I refreshed the page and had to start all over. So then I continues, but then it happened again during free time, and when I rebooted the app, it happened again after presenting the Spike logo. All in all it worked pretty good, but I’m still currently waiting for the screen to load.

Beyond Expected. The game is honestly amazing itself. I loved how the game took the time to bring it to mobile for its 10th Anniversary! The quality is beyond what I expected from a mobile device. I honestly thought it would’ve been glitchy- But nope! Honestly i would’ve paid 80$ for this if it was that much based off how well they made it for mobile devices, If you want to buy this game and you love solving murder mysteries and learning more into depth about the characters And the class trials are really great quality too! no glitches at all that i’ve found! ill 100% recommend! Keep it up I look forward to playing it in the future on my mobile device. Thanks very much!

Really good so far!. It is pretty good so far. I got into danganronpa around the start of quarantine and was really happy to hear they were coming to mobile! I really only have 1 complaint - sometimes in you flip your phone screen it doesn’t format correctly and you cannot see who is talking. You can usually see the letters though (for example: you can see the N and G in ‘Nagito’.) Other than that though, it is really good. I can’t wait to finish the game!

Truth bullets?. I’ve watched plenty of tutorials on how to play this game but of course they were all how to play it on computer, but I did notice that in the first trail everyone else has 2 bullets but I only have one, and I tried firing it at every time possible but none of the, worked. It seems like I’m the only one having a problem but can someone please help? Like I know in the first trial the first bullet your supposed to fire is the one called knife but i don’t have that one in my truth cylinder, and no pressing and holding on it doesn’t allow you to change bullets. Can someone please help me. If not I’m asking for my money back.

⚠️BUG⚠️. Overall a good game but there’s a bug in trial 2 where it only shows one of the truth bullets instead of four and it’s wrong pls fix it :)

Not bad.. Pretty good overall. Sooo many translation errors and chat errors (chat goes off screen) If your gonna get this I reccomend not doing it. It is a buggy mess. 1st problem was in Case 4s trial. I ran outta health, but for some reason it let me keep going until the “Make your Arguement!” Where it instantly fails me, creating a unstoppable loop where the only way to fix it is to load your old save file. Which sucks if you didn’t save.. 2nd was getting in the game itself. When I turn on the app it either shows a black screen, and will not run no matter how many restarts. Or it will load normally. So it’s a huge pain since it doesn’t work much.. Then there’s the extra glitches. I can’t access any of it for some reason even though I am almost done the game? Anyways. I recommend waiting until these are fixed before downloading..

$22 taken away from me. I was excited to play this app and so I payed for it. It said in order to download it you have to remove so much storage. I did and it was finally downloading. I opened the app only to notice it crashing. I tried playing it several times and it just kept on crashing. Moral of the story is watch out on what you pay for and read the reviews.

It’s okay. I just downloaded this game and got through the prologue and the intro and stuff, but for some reason it won’t let me unlock the next chapter or it’s staying on the prologue(?). I’ve already completed the prologue and when I go to click something like “continue game” or whatever it says it takes me back to the very very starting of the game with you and Nagito and stuff and it’s really bothering me. rebuttal shutdown issue. during trial 3, when doing rebuttal shutdown with akane, there’s an issue where it randomly stops swiping and stuff and i can barely get through the thing. it wont slash the words after a certain point and i dont know why it’s doing this.

Good game but annoying.. I was at the first class trial and there’s this glitch which would put me on the ehandbook page but I couldn’t press back because the button wasn’t here . I couldn’t do anything and I couldn’t save because I was in a class trial. So I went back in the app and the only thing I saw was the intro with monokuma and monomi waving and after that my screen was pitch black. Nothing was on my screen. So I waited 20 minutes , and the screen was still black. Because of that I désinstalled it and downloaded it back . I lost all my progress and I just want to say if u could possibly get rid of this ehandbook glitch. The ehandbook glitch is obviously ur ehandbook opens when u didn’t click it but there’s no buttons to go back the map button isn’t here the truth bullet too the pet one too and all of the buttons are gone . Which means I needed to disinstal the app. Could you please respond to this comment.? It would be nice if you could fix this glitch. Thank you for your time !

Danganronpa!. This is a wonderful game it is well done. I can’t wait for V3 to come out eventually on iOS. The game adaptation to the iOS is pretty good. Although you do need a more new type of iOS to be able to run the game properly and smoothly.

Serious bug. Danganronpa is a great game, and I love the story. I was stoked to be able to play it on my ipad but the app has a serious issue. I cannot save past Chapter 2. I can make a new save file but I cannot open it and continue where I last left off. This makes it impossible to progress and it’s really sad because I really want to play this game but instead I’m forced to start from the beginning of Chapter 2 each time to try to make progress. I normally don’t write reviews but this is essential information, and I hope this problem can be solved.

Boot lock thing?. The game is fine no glitches for me but.. I was in a middle of the first class trial then I went off the app for a little bit because of the annoying storage space notification so I went to go delete some photos and then I went back to the app it said “boot lock” with a password I actually don’t get it? honestly great!. hey! i’m a former girl who loves random things games movies etc! i’ve downloaded this actually two years ago! and now i just remembers i have it! it’s GREAT! if u like lore,mystery,murder and more! this game is PERFECT!! you might kin a lot of characters actually! there’s 3 games and i mostly recommend this one for bullies, new characters and lore but v1 is if u want to start off basic’! v3 is if u know lost of lore and i love the cost!

Love it but slight bugs. Great game and I’m glad we got danganronpa on mobile it’s pretty much a good game accept for a little lag. During chapter 2 the Fuyuhiko rebuttal showdown the game got laggy although it could have been my fault whenever I tried to cut his words it would not register I cut them and would just say I tapped them. Although it was still possible still took me like 20 minutes to finish. Other than that I love this game. Same goes for danganronpa 1 on mobile

Absolutely worth the money (A few minor glitches). (For context this was written August 20, 2020) This game is easily one of my favorite games of all time. I heavily suggest you go in blind and really experience it to the fullest. It’s an amazing game with amazing characters and an amazing plot. There were a few minor glitches (for me at least) one minor one with the text spacing and another where the background music didn’t play during PTA and the Closing Argument. I hope these minor issues will be resolved but other than that, great game!!!

Absolutely Amazing!. I have always been in love with the Danganronpa franchise. I have never been able to play the games though, due to the lack of having a pc or PlayStation. When I found out my favorite game, Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair, was coming to mobile, I technically freaked out. I am currently on the third trial, and it feels amazing to play the game that has truly affected my life from the start! So, thank you Spike Chunsoft for making this dream of mine come true.

Please don’t boot lock😅(but if you do have a reason then it’s fine). I love this game but when, I got boot locked, when I was in chapter 1 in the class trial, I was very confused why was I boot locked? I tried re-entering the app but it didn’t work I deleted the app and got it back but it didn’t save my data sadly I have no Idea if anybody got boot locked or not I would just really love not to boot lock the app.😅

Reset all of my progress and another glitch. I was on chapter 3 trial, when I lost all of my health and sent me to the screen where it said “would u like to try again?” I had the auto talk thing on, so I’m assuming it said no. I looked away and then it said game over and reset me to chapter 1 before byakuya even got killed. Also, the transcript was glitched. It said “would you like to hang out with nagito?” And “yes” over the chat that is supposed to be there. I was wondering if I could have my save progress back because it really upset me.

Pretty good, however.. Game on mobile is pretty nice. Portable and easy to understand the controls. However, I noticed a bit back that my save data just got deleted. I saved it, I watched it say save, and the next day the data was just gone. Thats my only flaw, it was extremely annoying because it kept turning me back to the VERY STATT of the game where glitchy Komaeda greets Hinata. Please do something about this.

Very good game (Game breaking bug). I love the danganronpa series, and I have waited for a while for this game to be released on mobile so I can finally play it. So far, I only encountered a few bugs, one of which being a major bug in during the 5th class trial, if you run out of influence you can’t gain it back, like even if you get a question right it doesn’t regain your health please fix this as soon as possible or if someone could let me know if this is intentional or not

My Comfort Fandom. Okay, first of all great work on this! Danganronpa 2 is my favorite game and the whole franchise is basically where I can find comfort in the world, this has helped me through so much in some way and im really glad I can play the actual game! Although the fandom has been getting toxic the game still has a special place in my heart and I really look forward to any future games Spike Chunsoft creates!

Good but cannot talk to Chiaki on chapter 5. Spoiler alert for people besides the developers. On chapter 5, where you must talk to Chiaki Nanami after Fuyuhiko finds the bombs, I cannot walk, making it impossible to talk to her. Maybe there is a setting somewhere that I have not found, but if someone could tell me how to, or if the developers could patch this. Thank you!

NAGITO. I love the game, it has amazing characters, storyline, and graphics. I love how the characters where written, especially Nagito. The execution’s where pretty good, except Mikan’s it was just weird. But everything else is pretty good. I honestly hope there’ll be another game (not taking about v3) and I hope one of the past characters can be in the next game if there is one. Regardless this game is amazing and is my favorite out of all the other games.

Good game, but I’m having problems. I love this game, it has an amazing storyline! The characters are good also. However, when the 2nd body discovery announcement came up, I went inside the room in the beach. My screen went black. I exited the game, and I went back in it. It didn’t save so I had to redo it all. I played the chapter again and I finally reached the part that my screen went black, and I went inside the room. It went black again. It would be nice if you could fix this issue!

Love it but still need some issues to fix. I love DANGANRONPA played it first on the vita and now to see it on mobile is soo good lots of nostalgia. Only downside for me ATLEAST is that I actually enjoyed the English voice overs with this game series and no matter how many times I “reboot” close and open it always gives me the Japanese voice over instead of English so hopefully that gets fixed soon but honestly so happy to play monomi mini games was always my favorite

Boot Lock?. Help, so I was playing the game, (It’s a wonderful game I love it so much!) but there was a glitch, or something. I got off the game to do something when I came back it said “boot lock” and I have to enter a password, but I don’t know what it is. It wont let me play without the password. So basically I’m locked out of the game. For now at least. I can’t play it anymore. And I was told I had to delete the game and undo all my progress. I’m not very happy right now and I would love for this issue to be resolved.

Great game and almost no problems.. The game itself is absolutely grate, but it works surprisingly well for a mobile game. Some parts of the game are confusing at first and you may get frustrated but you can figure it out. There was one glitch that it wouldn’t let me open my last save but that was fixed after a little download.

Fun!. I first played this on PC and I like the way walking around is easier, and a lot of the mini games are easier... The only one that’s hard is the snowboarding one because my phone screen is so small and the truth bullet battle is a bit hard for the same reason, but that’s a me issue so that’s why i’m rating 5 stars. stan kazuichi souda for clear skin

Bootlocks. Ive been wanting to play dr2 for a while now, and right when i had to chance, right after the first trial, it boot locks, i tried waiting to see if it would eventually let me in if i dint touch it but no, its been about a month or more since i opened it and its stil boot locked, so i had to reinstall it. Hopefully wont happen again, ill edit if something happens.

It’s so fun! But.... After doing the Identify the Person minigame (Tanaka) in Trial 1, the game glitched out and won’t let you play. Instead, it goes to “You Failed!” (My influence gauge emptied). Whenever you “Retry,” the gauge doesn’t fill and it goes back to the “You Failed!” (It does this over and over again). I’ve tried leaving the game and returning, but nothing happens. Is this a glitch or are you supposed to restart the entire trial?

Great game, but few technical problems.. This is great game. But I have 3 technical issues. First, in chapter 4 I can’t see the strawberry house map but I can see the grape house map?? Next, in the class trial the camera sometimes pans out and voices glitch. Lastly, during the investigation, I try to move the camera but it just freezes for five seconds. Other than that, this is one of my favourite franchises, and I hope you port v3 soon!

I love this game to death!. I am absolutely in love with the danganronpa franchise and I was so happy to be able to purchase it on mobile. They did a great job transferring it! The only thing wrong is that during chapter 4 there is a certain map photos that never seem to appear on screen (the text is there just not the photos) It’s not that big of a deal though and the game is still amazing!

Excellent Port. The mobile port for the Danganronpa is executed in a nice and easy to use manner. It almost feels like it was made for a mobile platform! As a danganronpa fan who only made it to the second trial of the second game before her computer broke, the mobile platform made it easy for me to pick it back up again after having the urge to play the game. Let the death game begin!

I was really looking forward to it. I downloaded the game thinking that I would finally get to play this and not just watch the animation witch I am right now but when I got into the game right after the loading when the home screen popped up it took me out of the game and I kept trying to play over and over again but it just didn’t work :C well there goes 16 dollars down the drain I hope you fix this glitch thank you

Great game!. I loved danganronpa ever since my gf first recommended it to me, so I was very excited to see the games come to mobile! It’s a really fun game, however slightly confusing toward the beginning, it gets easier to play once you get used to it and save regularly! Definitely recommend! (Also very happy to see the third game on mobile!)

Problem in chapter 6. I was able to get through the game just fine and I saw no problems until chapter 6 SPOILERS during the trial where all of the Izurus are it would automatically shoot truth bullets for no reason and I couldn’t continue the game everything worked out fine down and I was able to finish just wanted to say that’s a small bug.

Great game!. I’ve absolutely love Danganronpa 2 and I’ve been waiting for it to come to mobile. Now that it’s been released to iPhone and iPad I have gotten an chance to play it! I know it just came out but for some reason it never saves where I left off so I would have to always restart chapters a lot. I know the game just came out on mobile so I expected for there to be bugs in the game. Either way I’ve had fun playing Danganronpa 2, and I can’t wait for Danganronpa 3 to be released to mobile!

One major bug I’ve noticed. So the game is good and for the most part smooth but there is one problem, the influence bar. No matter what you can never regain influence, be it through a failed class trial or by using the correct command, and it wouldn’t even let me retry the trial because I had automatically got a game over because it never refilled, it honestly makes the game a pain to play in this situation.

Pretty great, some issues. I love this franchise and especially this game. I was so excited to see it on the app store for only $5! It is pretty much identical to the steam version aside from controls and quality. I However, I have had a lot of issues with saving and had to completely restart a chapter after the game would not let me load the save. That aside, the game is just as fun and exciting as it always will be, I’m really pleased with my purchase.

Great Game, Old Fan. Hi, I loved this game and a couple other ones throughout the Danganronpa series and have purchased some. As I started expanding my interests, I drifted away from Danganronpa all-together. I would like to know if there’s any way to get a refund for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa: Goodbye Despair, as I am not a fan anymore and will not be playing again. Many thanks! ★

Great game with some bugs here and there. The games great and it worked with mostly no bugs. The only big problem I remember encountering is that whenever the map for Strawberry House was mentioned, there was nothing actually shown and I was left staring at a black space where the map was supposed to be shown. This only applied for Strawberry House, not Grape House. Besides this, it was a wonderful experience.

SO GOOD. So I have not played the first game because I have watched the anime. I was really excited to play this because the anime was so good. My favorite parts are all of the executions, though I hated -spoiler- Mikan’s because it was really weird and made me real uncomfortable, but other than that this game had a lot of good executions. Though one downside is that class trials are hard, and the memory feature really had me tripping because if you didn’t use memory sometimes you couldn’t proceed. Altogether really good.

I love this game but one thing. THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!! 😡😡😡. I LOVE this game. But, all of the sudden I got boot locked! HOW DO THEY EXPECT US/ME TO KNOW THE PASSWORD! I’ve searched for the password no results. It only does it on mobile, on the Japanese version. I’m gonna have to restart the whole game! It took me hours to play it. Also, when I try to restart the game, ITS NOT LETTING ME DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN! I just need to know the password.

Great but there’s a problem.... I downloaded this game yesterday, and have been playing it since this morning, and there’s a bug. A bug that won’t let me get further than that. My Influence Gauge doesn’t refill after saying yes to retrying, which it did in DR1, which means I can’t do Hangman’s Gambit without automatically failing every time. Can you please fix this problem so I can move on?

Best anime app. Right when I played it I liked it but it also may be hard to do the class trials if your like me your new to playing it on phone, I’m not at the class trials yet but I am almost but I would recommend the game if you like danganronpa and want to experience it yourself instead of watching others play

Amazing! But read everything. Hello! I’m extremely happy that Sdr2 came on ios. Everything is amazing, the graphics,storyline,characters and all of the above best dr game ever, just read this. You need to make sure you save, if you save and lock down your ipad or iphone the whole game will just reset. But other then that just keep saving! I’m playing the game a second time and having no problems! :)

The game has issues?. I was playing the game right, I was on chapter 3 (Class Trial) but then the game glitched sortof kicked me out and then there was this black screen that said "contact the support desk" or something and im very confused, I tried asking my friend about it she told me to delete the game and re install it but then I told them the progress would not be saved, I dont know what to do. Please help.

Sum problems. It’s a good game but I had some problems while playing it like I didn’t play for a pretty long time and then I had to delete the game and get it again because it wouldn’t let me in the game at all! so I had to restart the whole game after I was on chapter 5! show my just because I was doing stuff that I already did before but it’s not the best and it’s really slow with not very much action

One of my favorite games!!but just one problem …. Danganronpa is one of my favorite games and I’m near the end of the game where your at the last class trial, suddenly my screen freezes and I close my app and open it up again but it says boot lock?and then to enter a password. If this bug could be fixed pls fix it as soon as you can pls! Thank you overall great game one of my favorites.

It’s a good game but. Just as they were about to ykyk Teru Teru I went to the menu to save my game it didn’t load so I re opened the app its showed the chunisoft thingy or whatever it was called then the main menu didn’t load so I reopened it same thing happened what do I do? Otherwise the game is pretty good love it just please fix that one bug!

Amazing but there was a few problems. I personally LOVE Danganronpa, and I was done with the chapter 3 trial when it turned black and it said “an unexpected error has occurred” and stuff like that and then I clicked on it and it went to a screen with a bunch of words in Japanese I think and it just won’t let me in anymore

Good Game- But Glitched?. I was pretty far into the game when it started getting super slow / not responding to my touch and then it locked me out with something called a Boot Lock? it had some japanese text and a place to insert a password and I couldn’t get back to my old screen. had to delete the game and redownload making me lose all my process. i looked online and people have been having this problem since the mobile port launch. please look into this!!

So Worth The Price!. I have been a Danganronpa fan for a while now and bought this game in March so it took me about 2 months to finish! But I think for the price it is a really great game because on steam it is usually 30 bucks or around that or more. And can’t wait for v3 to come to mobile soon!

It just needs a bit more optimization. So i have an iphone 6 but before u go all “wahhh get a better phone” this game is not demanding AT ALL it literally could run on a psp, which is what it was originally for, so its not my phone, all they need is one more update with general optimization for the crashes cuz i emulated danganronpa 1 (legally i own a version of it on ps4 its how this works) and it ran nearly perfectly on the iphone 6, so its just a lazy port. Also i would like a ui change cuz this one is a super boring version of the other ui versions.

How do u change the language; language glitch. I pushed language button then it said to reboot app. I did so but it switched it back, and it would not let me hear the English language. I’m stuck on Japanese language in the prologue every time. Had to do this too many times but it never worked. I hope this is not a glitch. Love this game too much.
