Tests. Please add more tests. Where they sign a phrase and you text what they said. The two each lesson aren’t enough. I’d like to see real conversations so I can better learn. And the study aspect would be cool if we could make our own flash cards. I wish the lessons weren’t exactly the same after you finish in case you want to review. I flew through the lessons in a day so I’d like to go back and practice but each lesson I go to review is exactly the same and the phrasing test in them are the same so I already know what they’re sign. If there was a section of just testing. Lessons then a real test that would be awesome!

Many signs are wrong!. Im not sure. Im deaf and do sign (not fluent). Some of the signs are odd. Like “hello” and “store” Both signers are doing it oddly. Maybe its a regional thing? Hello is just the salute. But she adds something in begging of salute. A little movement. Its just a salute. Then “store” she does it sideways and on forehead? Not correct. Its tips of fingers downward and sign is on torso. Not forehead. Am i to trust any other signs they do? Plus most of this is a guessing game with picts. Duh. It says which is orange showing 2 picts. One is orange and one is truck. Gosh which is orange? Not very challenging at all. I do like the dictionary though but again can i trust they’re doing the signs correctly if they cant even sign hello correctly. Update; played with this more and these people don’t know what they’re doing. Just check out airplane. The signer looks stupid. Shes poking her face? Really? This really upsets me because as any language its extremely important to be accurate.

Good for beginners. My only real critique of the app is that sometimes the instructors have too much of a flourish on their hand movements so it makes it difficult to understand the sign that they’re trying to teach. (“Window” shouldn’t bounce so much, it should be one solid movement) Or their facial expressions doesn’t match the sign. Other than that I think it would be awesome to have a harder difficulty setting for older learners. It’s easy to know the answer for “what sign is orange” when there is a picture of an orange next to the sign.

Game changer!. Recently at my job, a deaf man was hired to work along side of me. I had no concerns other than “how can I communicate better with him?” Since I don’t really know ASL I figured pen and paper would work too. But my friend showed me this app and I was able to quickly learn phrases we use all the time at work! My co worker likes that I’m learning and helps me out too! This app has really helped to break the ice and help me learn to communicate better with my co worker. Thank you!!!

Sloppy and confusing. Edit*** I just realized they misspelled language in the title. Well that tells you everything you need to know about this dumpster fire of an app. I really don’t understand how this has above a four star rating. I’ve been taking ASL lessons for 6 months and would be happy pay for a good app that would help me improve and practice my signing. I expected, for the price, to get actually lesson with someone who is certified to teach or interpret ASL. Instead you get choppy gifs with emoji style pictographs too learn words like apple and egg. This app is laughably basic beginner level with very little content. It’s also confusing and really sloppily put together, it just looks very amateurish. There are no lessons for grammar or to help practice sentence structure, or fingerspelling (besides learning the alphabet). All it shows is basic words. You can find much better for apps that charge once the price this costs per month. I really applaud people creating ASL learning apps, as it’s a great skill to learn. But this app is exploitive, tricking people into paying for something they will learn nothing from. I tried the free trial but immediately canceled after using it once. I’m still in disbelief that someone would try to pass this off as being worth a $60 subscription.

I think it’s great. First and this is just my personal opinion, I see a lot of reviews that say they don’t like the flash card questions as being bad because the answer is always “Yes” personally, I like it because it’s more of a review and that seems to work for me. I believe there are many other aspects of the app that tests your knowledge to see if you know what a particular sign means. Perhaps they should change the flash cards to review cards but like I said, in my case at least, they reinforce the correct sign. I think the best part of the app are the hints that basically explain the sign and how to make it which provides a mental image association with the sign making it easier to remember and recognize when you see it. I think it’s a great app

Like it a lot but wish for updates too. I love all of what I’ve learned so far but I agree with so many other reviewers. I wish there was a longer testing section and a study guide that you could swipe thru instead of having to pick each word or to have to click yes or no for all of the flash cards (even though they are all yes). It would also be nice to have other options aside from apple and orange. I think seeing and being tested on conversations would be great too.

Love- but mirror the videos. I love this app so much! The only thing is that i wish the videos were mirrored so that it’s easy to mirror what the person is doing. I noticed that for the sign “left” the app says “left hint: First letter L is moving left”. But the video shows the hand moving to the right of the screen. I think in person that person is using their left hand but on the screen it looks like the right hand. I would appreciate this so much, thank you!

I just started today and it’s awesome. My mom would buy it for a premium but to do any lessons in one day but I have an ask her but you can do it for free and that’s what I’m doing right now and it’s so fun you can do it for free where you practice and there is an alphabet and it’s super easy once you get to know everything it’s really fun to see how far you can go with it and tell me where you go and where are you use it I’m so curious

*mwah* amazing for beginners.. I LOVE THIS APP. i downloaded it because i wanted to use asl so me and my stepsibling can communicate without having to talk, and just because it would be a good skill to have in the future. i downloaded this and i immediately got to learning. i’ve had it for several months and i love it so much. however, it got a 4 star from me because you can only do one lesson a day. i think that doing one lesson a day might be good for some people to learn and obtain knowledge better but for some people not so much. you have to pay to do more than one lesson a day. other than that the app is great. i wish that for the flash cards it would challenge you a little bit more because the answer is always “yes” but it isn’t a huge deal. i absolutely LOVE the dictionary. it helps me so much and i honestly use it several times a day. it has helped me form sentences in asl and figure out words that might be kind of difficult. the videos that help me learn and pretty clear and not confusing, although sometimes it can be a little depending on the word but that isn’t their fault. overall, i think that anyone who is looking to learn asl and is a beginner should download this app. it also has a page with the full asl alphabet which helped me a bunch. good luck!!

This app is good but. This app is good but you can only do the free daily lesson over and over and any other you need to pay for even if you unlock it. This app is great for someone like me who is good at something if you put all your focus on it. I would recommend you do the study part that says yes or no to refresh your brain because the answer is always yes so you basically just get a recap on what happened. I really recommend this app but I am going to try a different one and compare😊

Thought I canceled my subscription a week ago. It says I canceled my subscription a week ago then today I got billed $65 (even though 1 year is $60, not sure where my $5 went) can’t find any contact support That can help me. Searched the web and couldn’t find anything there or in the app. May have my family’s lawyer help me out. But this is ridiculous. $65 is insanely expensive especially since I got through half of the app in a week. It said canceled in my Apple ID but I guess this app charges anyway. I would definitely recommend my school get this for all the laptops if I could get some help because I do think it’s good for learning. But the fact that I was charged so much for nothing is horrible especially since we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and I don’t have the money to cover the $65. I bet this is happening to a lot of people. If the app developers could give me an email to contact to resolve this issue I would really appreciate it.

Wish for features but great start. Hello! I love this app. It’s has a great format and is good for practice. I have a few wishes that should be easy to implement: - I wish, like flash cards, there was “test yourself” section where you just show the English word and I have to remember the sign myself, THEN I could see the sign once I click to see it. Right now, you can’t quiz yourself this way. - I wish for more variations of words in the lessons. The word apple and orange keep coming up, as if those are the only words mixed in to each themed lesson. Please mix in more words. - I wish I could turn the photo hints (which are amazing!) off to challenge myself - I wish I could turn off having to type the words into a box. It slows down my practice having to do that.

Only Good for Free Trail. The app has potential, but it’s obvious immediately that this was a very low budget development. I’m not sure if this was this girl’s thesis project or Something similar, but it misses the mark in so many areas. There are misspelled words, some of the videos include extra signs that aren’t included in the “quiz”, many times signs you haven’t studied will be thrown into a sentence and you’re expected to know them. I get that this is supposed to be like a DuoLingo for ASL, but again I feel it has totally missed the mark. And what are the chests and all that for??? Some of the sentences she signs seem much more like SEE than ASL (ex: she signs the word “the” many times in sentences) I’d recommend using the free trial to learn vocab , but make sure you immediately cancel the free trial so you’re not charged after the 2 weeks.

It’s pretty good. It shouldn’t be your only tool when learning asl, buts it’s come in handy more times than I can count. I have some issues with the app though. First, a night mode would be amazing. Second and this is the annoying one, some of the longer sentences or signs start the video half way through the sign. I know the filmed multiple takes to get the clearest one, but sometimes they didn’t edit out the end of the previous take.

Questioning the validity of these signs. I am a hearing person interested in learning ASL so that I can better communicate with d/Deaf people. I’m disabled, so I value inclusivity and accessibility. I was excited to find this app and see so many outstanding reviews. Then I downloaded it and found out that not only did it provide about four signs per day (and charge a lot of money for anything more), but these signs seem… off. For one, the signer seems to be hearing; her “e” shape is open and NOT worth emulating. I understand that some d/Deaf people accept the “screaming e,” but overall it is discouraged by the community. Trying to learn ASL from someone who uses inaccurate handshapes feels like when I tried to learn Spanish from a teacher who never bothered to use correct pronunciation. Also, the sign for “why” is not what I learned from a Deaf person at all. There may be alternate signs for it I’m just unaware of, but after seeing the “e” in “elevator,” I’m skeptical. I would hope that the few signs I’ve learned from this are accurate, but I worry that they’re negatively impacting my understanding of the language as I just don’t know how many of them are correct and how many aren’t.

Some of the signs are wrong?. I’m currently in ASL 2 and I thought I would just download the app for fun to see how much I already know and to try and learn more in addition to the stuff I’m already learning but I’ve noticed that some of these signs are either slightly to sometimes even drastically different to the signs we are taught in asl, I know sometimes there are different ways of signing the same thing but whenever there is a sign like that my teacher makes sure to go over those signs, and I know my teacher isn’t the one messing up considering her mom is deaf and she was an interpreter for a while, idk just seemed weird to me

It’s OK. Very good comprehensive app and I do really like the dictionary feature. However, there’s no real way to review everything you’ve learned in one motion without going through individual sections. Flash card answers are always “yes” so there’s not much point to even viewing what they’re asking. Sometimes the parts where you’re given a video and have to put the sentence together uses vocabulary you haven’t learned yet - which, I understand the point, but it’s frustrating and just a process of elimination. During these, the actors often use different signs for the words we just learned and never explain further. There are also multiple instances where there are no hints or explanations to why a sign looks the way it does, and no explanation on how the hands should be held (as you can’t see them from every angle) I also wish the lessons were a little harder / options were varied. Every choice I have when given a “what is this sign?” Scenario has the correct word next to the apple and orange signs - which haven’t actually come back up in learning at all.

Well made. I’ve been having problems with speech recently and I’ve been trying to find an ASL app that’s free (I know it’s not a lot of money but I still don’t have the money for this) it’s well made and you get the first lesson for free but then you can’t continue unless you pay the subscription. It’s a great app and seems good for kids, money is really my only issue which I understand makes me sound a little snobby but it’s just inaccessible to me

Overall very good!. Hi! I hope the developer sees this as I have one request, hoping it’s an easily resolvable one. I saw another review and it asked for a practice test feature. That would be great because I’m not sure I’m retaining everything I’m learning. The lessons are quick and it’s hard to be able to tell if everything I’m learning is being retained. Another thing I’ve noticed is that in the study section the answer is always “yes”. There’s never the option for me to say no because they’re always right. I’d also love for there to be a feature like flash cards where it shows the sign and we tap the screen and it shows us what it means. The practice test feature would be great and so would the flash cards. I hope this is seen but other than those requests I love this app and in the short amount of time I’ve used it I am remembering a lot of the things!

Sign Language. The videos on this app is very clear and helps me quite a bit. I’ve tried to learn sign language in the past from a book. Learning from the book is difficult since it doesn’t show the motion if the signs very well because it’s just a picture in a book. I’m more of a visual learner and these videos with the app are so much easier to understand and learn from.

I love it!. I really enjoy this app and it is very good at teaching new signs that I didn’t know! One problem is you can only do one free lesson a day. You have to get a monthly or yearly pass to do all the other lessons. One thing I find confusing sometimes is sometimes there are other gestures when they are signing it and I can’t tell if it’s part of it or not. And one thing that would be amazing is if the flash cards weren’t all yes. I think it would be cool to have yes and no cards. But overall it’s a really amazing app and I have expanded my asl vocabulary!

Good, but shouldn’t have to pay. This app is amazing. But it shouldn’t require you to pay. I’ve been up all night trying to find an app that will help me learn SL, but all of them require paying. This small little tweak in my journey to become fluent in SL isn’t going to stop me. Deaf people shouldn’t have to go through all this trouble just to be able to communicate with people. Can you please fix this? What if deaf people can’t pay for things like this every month? What if their parents can’t afford to get them a teacher to teach them how to do SL? Please recognize my review and make a change.

Developers PLEASE. I love this app but it DESPERATELY needs a “report” function on some of the words in the search page. I have found a few signs that were outright incorrect. Also, it would be incredibly helpful to have words with multiple meanings clarified - like “second” - whether it’s regarding *TIME* or first, second, third *PLACE* etc. A simple button for suggestions on the search results would allow the team to review and correct or update their dictionary as needed.

Paid options are not great. The best feature of the app if the dictionary. The lessons are very limited and beyond hand holding. They don’t actually give you a chance to learn but rather they force feed you the answer by keeping all of the pictures in every area making it nearly impossible to even try most of the time. Some of the video sentences play in the wrong order compared to what they want the answer. The study feature……. This could have been an amazing part of the app. It sadly is beyond far from it. Every answer is yes. It shows the word and the correct sign every single time. Then once you learn the flash card once you can never just hit study and go through those words again. I am just very disappointed as a whole on what some of the features are and you can tell it was put together as a second thought with some of the features. Real shame because this app could have been something amazing.

Great start!. I came to send a message to the developers, but many of the things I’ve to say appear to been echoed by many already. It’s an ok app if you’re starting to learn. However, there’s quite a few things that leave more to be desired. There’s no test feature, so there’s really no way to see if you’re learning anything. The study feature is pretty useless as well as it’s just always yes. The one time I’ve ever had to push no, it wouldn’t let me, and accepted yes as correct even though it was not the correct sign (beef vs hamburger). I don’t yet understand the point of all the treasure and gems; it seems you only use them to buy things like skips, but the lessons are so easy and you get chests so fast, I don’t know what to do but collect them all I guess. I’ve also seen in some harder lessons (where they put more signs together and you need to translate the sentence) that the interpreter uses signs that haven’t been taught yet so you just give it your best guess. Even happens in the study cards somehow? Again, great app if you’re just starting to learn like me, but definitely could be better too.

Please make Flash cards more challenging. I have been using this for about two days and I have tried a few other apps and this is the one I like the most I’ve definitely learned a lot so far I just wish they would make it a little more challenging when it’s asking you like which one is apple and there’s the giant apple figure on top doesn’t do much to challenge you and like a lot of other people said definitely not making the flash card a constant yes would help a lot more so I can actually know if I can figure out the word myself.

Very great app!. This app is great for anyone starting out and has a passion to learn something new. The lessons are great and they demonstrate all the words very well. They also have a dictionary where you can look up specific words. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn. You do have to pay for this but you get a free two week trial and it’s only 6 dollars a month and in my opinion it’s worth it completely. A few things I wish they would have added or fixed are - the study section repeats some words over and over (like milk and soup for some reason) and so before I can get to new words I have to make it through six or seven of the same words over and over - I wish there was a section showing all the words you’ve learned just in a list as I’d like to be able to go down the list and repeat the signs almost like flash cards - is love for there to be little practice tests or something like that after say every 5-10 lessons so we know that we really are retaining everything we’re learning Over all this is a really great app and I’m excited to continue using it!

Inflated Price & Underdeveloped App. I think it’s obvious what the dev is doing here — your “free trial” ends after two weeks (which is an atypical period of time for most trials of this nature which seems deliberate) and then the app charges you $65. The abnormal “free trial” time period coupled with the inflated price is suspect to me, and I think it’s a pretty transparent ploy to get $$ quick from an underdeveloped app that needed more work before being rolled out. I’m skeptical if the dev is actually planning on finishing the work left to do, or if they know they’ll make $$ from folks who forgot to opt out after two weeks and then ride it out until they shut the whole thing down. Don’t think the dev speaks ASL or is involved in the community — lots of mistakes, and the name of the app literally says “ASL (American Sign Language) Sign Language.” Pretty lame imo. If you’re passionate about language-learning, there are better, actually free options for learning ASL online!

Not what I expected. So I want to learn ASL because I have a friend who is sometimes nonverbal and speaks in ASL. I downloaded this app and did the first free lesson. As the lesson went on I got diamonds or whatever so I thought that I would “pay” for other lessons with said diamonds. However, it is a subscription that I didn’t know I would have to sign up for. I didn’t expect it since the app was free. Not only that, but the price seems higher than other apps I have. Though the free lessons seem good for beginners like me, I would probably not recommend for someone wanting to be fluent in ASL (other reviews say signs are wrong). (go read other reviews before downloading too, good to see pov of others before downloading an app)

Great app. This app is great and I just started using it. I know some sign language but is a good way for me to learn more. I think it would be a great idea to have a setting menu to say seton up a reminder to do lessons and a profile to see your overall progress. I have one question, what are the gems used for, I do not see a store page to use them and when I click(tap) on the gems it does nothing. I would love to see more features added in there near future. Thank You

Do not get, confusing things. So Today thx morning, I went to open the daily lessons, but when I got on, it was doing random swords I didint know, well I kinda did know cuz I looked it up in the dictionary but if I didint know, I would’ve gotten it wrong, but guess what, I still got it wrong, because it first, pointed at me, then pointed at herself, then did the love sign then pointed at me again. So I typed in, you I love her, because when you point at someone, it mean you, then I did I and love, I got those to correct, now why did I add the her? Beacuase it pointed at me again and I could choose the same word twice if it didn’t have the same word, but what I’m really upset about is that it started off like that, didint give me a hint at the bottom and didint ahve 2 rectangles with the person inside of it doing asl, and I picking which one I think is correct. Oh and 1 more thing, don’t download beacuase all you can do with out paying weekly or monthly Is the dictionary and alphabet and the daily lessons, if you pay weekly or monthly, you can do lessons and other things. Oh and for the flash cards, I might now use them ever again, cuz for the yes or no questions, it’s always yes, yes, yes, yes. So one time I just spammed Yes. Bye bye and don’t download I may be deleting this app right now. Bye.

Great!. I just started and already learned so much so fast. I was so surprised that I learned it that fast that I decided to subscribe. $6 a month is not a big deal. Plus, if I’m paying for it, I’ll be more motivated to keep learning. The way it teaches me really helps me to learn fast. I just showed my husband all I’ve learned already. I didn’t guess about any of it. It shows a picture, the word, and the video of the action to say that word. It goes over it again if you didn’t get it the first few times. It doesn’t leave you behind at all. It makes sure you got the word before giving you much more. I’m really excited about learning sign language now!!! Oh, yeah, it gives you rewards to use like a video game, too! This app is definitely the one to get.

Awesome app to learn new words!. I love this app and I’m learning so much! To get the most of the app you do have to pay but it is very worth it! The only complaint I have is that when you want to master words you have been taught the only way to do that is with flash cards that just show you the sign and ask if the sign is correct (and it is ALWAYS correct) so there is no good way to really test yourself to see if you know it or not. It seems like there could be room for something to be added and I think better tests would be just the way to do that! Other than that I use the app everyday and the visuals are very nice. Oh another thing is that if you have music playing in the back ground then it cuts out when you are learning new words so I can’t have music playing in the background at all.

Great app- needs an “add to mastered list” feature. Overall very good app. This app has the most comprehensive dictionary out of all of the apps I have tried. There are a few issues, such as the flashcards- the answer is always yes. It would be nice if it were an actual quiz. It would also be nice to be able to review the things that you’ve already mastered, not just be able to review signs once. One feature I would love to have is to be able to add my own signs to the list of mastered signs. For instance, if I look something up and learn it, I want to be able to add it to the list of mastered signs, so I can go back and review it. Thank you so much for a wonderful app! I’m really enjoying using it to learn to sign and communicate!

Amazing app to learn. 4 stars because some of the sentences they sign are looped but because of this some signs are cut off and another one begins so I’ll get the question wrong because it’s a continuation of something else. There are some signs that do need context in order to produce (I’m using this app to refresh and build my vocab so I already know most signs) but other than that it’s a pretty amazing app, you’ll learn much more from someone who’s deaf there are some shortcut signs or slang 😉

Considerations. If the developer sees this I hope you help me. I can’t pay for the subscription. If it may be possible could you change it to us having to pay diamonds for a new lesson instead of making us pay because I would love to learn sign language but I can’t afford it. By the way I am thirteen and I think this would be good for the app and boost its users and sales if you put it in adds and make it all free. Also I would suggest fixing the yes and no part because the answer to all of them is always yes. I hope you consider these changes, and work on them very soon for the benefit of your app. Best of luck to you! Signing off, Your hopeful user

Awesome but you have to pay for more lessons. I recently met some people with hearing disabilities (deaf) and they inspired me to learn their language and engage with their community.❤️So I downloaded this app for a better understanding and it is amazing the only thing I would improve is not making people pay for other lessons . It is inconvenient when you are really trying to learn. But I love the people and the language is awesome !🥰 Thank you

Love to learn this way!. This app is great and the best really free app I have seen for learning ASL. I hope they are able to add more units in the future. I would pay for ad-free but not a subscription just because I hate that sales model. I am also willing to deal with the frequent ads if necessary. I suggest the developers have the progress page at the end of each lesson load more quickly because it is repetitive and adds to the time between lessons. Most of the ads are pretty short anyway, so that would make it less of a bother. Keep up the great teaching and the dedication your work shows!!

you can legit always play!!. What I love is that even if you don’t have premium, every 24 hours you get a free daily lesson that teaches u brand new signs abd u can replay it however many times u want. Also the same thing but with Flashcards you can do Flashcards every 24 hours too. Favorite asl app and this deserves more credit. There dictionary is also amazing and you don’t need premium for that. What makes it more interesting and fun is the diamonds and the treasure chest items, this game in general very thoughtful and I love it. If you wanna learn American Sign Language this should be the only app you have because it’s all you need. I’m about to get the premium too Not kidding!!

Good App!!. I like this app! Unlike the other ones I’ve quickly scanned, this one seems to have questions to help you retain it, instead of others that just give you the sign and hope you remember it. I did notice that when you study, most questions are the answer yes, which isn’t honestly that big of a deal. But when I did come across one that was no, I tried to press the button “no” and it didn’t work (nothing happened). And then when I pressed “yes” it told me I was right. But besides that, I think it’s pretty good! :)

Eh. I was so happy to learn a new language to communicate with myself and when I’m angry and then I had to pay to learn a language like people we learn English without money you know because our parents probably know English and we learned English from so basically you’re saying that to repeat that thing again we have to pay for it there are so many apps that do not need to be forced for you to pay for them I’m sorry for complaining but I just would like it if you maybe could do the subscription for other things like you know if it’s like something really cool that you can just do something like that but if it’s just some thing like what you just did to me or whatever I don’t know then I will get a bit upset I mean yeah I was good you have a really good app and I want to say thank you for creating it for people to learn sign language and whoever heard that woman to do the sign languages is like so epic but that’s all I’m saying so yeah

I would sign great but who’s going to see it.. I love this app and it’s thought me a lot of signs I feel like finding a deaf person and just signing until my arms fall of well anyway you should get this app it’s so awesome my sister got a different app and it wasn’t as good it had glitches and the signs weren’t correct they had weird signs that had nothing to do with the thing they said it did! Besides I’m on this app as much as I can be I try never to miss them ever so I do three to four lessons a day. Well I all ready know some signs but I wanted to learn more I watched sue Thomas FB eye and that show taught me signs like sorry hungry baby and a hole ton more.

Rewards. Great app but I wish you could have more options to use your rewards for. You gain gems and peace sign and the only thing you can do is use the gems for is your by skips, double try’s and bombs. I don’t even know what the peace sign is used for!! Overall this is a great app to learn from but it’s also very easy and therefore it’s very easy to gain and keep gems. I wish there was harder levels to unlock or other thing you can use the gems and peace signs for!

Good app, but some sign explanations missing!. When I first tried this app the daily free lesson had image descriptions / sign explanations for each word. This was probably what made me most excited about this app. However, I could not see these explanations in the “study” section of the app when I wanted to review words I learned. And sometimes, the free chest for 7 correct answers in a row would completely cover the sign explanation as well. Finally, the second day’s free lesson had no sign explanations at all. With these issues fixed I could definitely see myself paying for a subscription.

Great app!. I’ve tried several other ASL apps and this one is the best! I like that it quizzes you with multiple choice questions. The new version, 2.2.2, is doing something with the audio on my iPhone. I hear a chiming sound sometimes. I prefer no audio and there should be a way to disable it if you plan on using it more extensively. A way to send Dev feedback and bug reports would be nice too. I was on the verge of subscribing until this version.

Cool app. It’s fun learning a bunch of little things and teaching my kids certain words and sentences. One thing I don’t like is some of the videos where the main girl does the same sign twice kind of fast instead of just one time at a learnable pace while sometimes the video will sort of glitch and you don’t know when the word begins. Idk if I explained that very well but for 5 bucks I’m not mad. My kids and I like it. I’ll probably add an additional app to my phone tho to learn from different apps :)

Ok.. A great app as I am learning ASL, but I hate the fact that we have to wait 24 hours before starting a new lesson. After not even 10 minutes I completed the first lesson, then I just practiced it because I was bored and just cant wait until tomorrow to start the next lesson. Now, some things with the study feature, after studying I found that it is only correct, I’ve never ever had to click no. Some thinks with the lessons, with the “what sign is milk?” Or something like that, I wish it wouldn’t show the pictures after you’ve mastered them. I think it’s good for the start, but I really wanna challenge myself, maybe add practice quizzes? Overall, I would give this 5 stars if it had all these things I’ve listed, but please try and take a look at this is feel like it would be such a better app if you did so, thanks!

Could be vastly improved easily. This is a clear knockoff of duolingo with ASL which is a great idea. They are lacking in some very basic areas though. The only way to study is flash cards with yes or no answers and the answer is always yes. When they give you three options to test a new sign, one of the options is almost always an apple or orange instead of something more relevant. The gifs are edited incorrectly sometimes and some of the hints are clearly mapped to the wrong signs. This app has a great idea and can easily be a five star app if the developers cared more and spent one week fixing these issues. I still want to learn sign language so I’m going to use the app, but i hope that it is repaired soon.

This app is infuriating. i used this app for so long without researching because you know it’s an app you’d think it’d be correct but instead it was wrong😭 it’s not correct look for example you search up side eye nd it’s signs the side of your body then to your eye which is incorrect it’s just separates it and won’t let you put symbols like hyphens nd most of the time it doesn’t have the things you need to search it doesn’t have all of the signs i still continue to use this app but come on please update this

All round great app. I don’t see how this is bad There’s a dictionary in it which is really helpful and you can even put sentences in it. The lesson they give you are easy but you still learn with them

You only get on free lesson a day the rest is for money. It’s for Money only get one Free Lesson a day

Happy but still critical customer. I thoroughly enjoy your app I love learning new things and learning sign language is one of those thing I think everyone should try to learn. (even though it does slightly defeat the purpose of charades) One of my favourite parts is how you are able to learn everything available without paying My least favourite part is how there is a bug in the study tab. Context: Shows signs you have already learnt and asked for a true or false answer for whether the sign matches the meaning that is displayed on the screen. The answer is ALWAYS TRUE --- please fix the bug 🙏 ---

Magic. Great App. Easy to use and features are good. One request would be landscape mode. Muchos thankos.

Altering subscription prices. I love this app I really do, I love it so much I was willing to pay the stated $5.99 per month. Until I confirmed it and it comes up on my ApplePay as $9.99?? Bit confused. The review won’t let me add photos (I have screenshotted the false and charged prices) but if I can get in contact with someone please :)

American signs are different from Australian. I looked up Australian sign language and downloaded and paid for this app. Turns out it’s American so now I have to try looking for an Australian one instead. Easy to learn though

Pocket sign. Love it just even to play it’s fun! Thanks so much Dianna

Needs more phrases. I find each lesson too short, as in there’s not enough words. This makes the lessons to easy as you’re constantly clicking the same word. There’s often no sentences during the lessons. They are mostly “click the sign with the picture” and then “type of the word of the sign you just clicked” and repeat. The study > flash cards are not very helping as the answer always seems to be ‘yes’. The flash cards should have you type out the word that is being signed. I am learning how to sign words, but I don’t think I’m actually learning how to communicate in ASL which is kind of the point of learning the words. For these reasons I don’t think the subscription is worth while.

This app is so good. My bro is dead this app helps with me and my family and my friends to communicate with me bro love the app

Subscription. I don’t like that you have to subscribe to do the lessons

Only One Free Lesson. This app isn’t free, it only lets you have one free lesson and then you need a subscription.

Problems with Yearly Subscription. I saw my daughter use this app with full privileges and I was very excited to try it - it looked promising and easy to learn, and she was having fun with it. After she helped me install it, we realized i only have access to the very limited free version and would have to pay ~$60 again because she uses a different Apple ID. This is very disappointing. Other apps let you use an email to login so you can access across different devices or let family use the same account (like taking turns). Don’t get me wrong, the app has a variety of content and works great - the problem is user access. What about families with multiple children who all want to learn ASL on separate apple ID? For each kid, i have to pay $60 for full access? I had hope for this app. Too bad.

What a shame - I cancelled my subscription. For an app that is supposed to increase accessibility, the gated access is highly disappointing. I was helping my elderly mother install this onto her phone since she was excited to try it after seeing what the full version could do. We realized that she’d have to pay the $60 fee for a yearly subscription again since the account is linked to the Apple ID - she and I have different ones. This is sad - there was an easy way around the issue if we could login with an email instead of the app content being connected to apple ID. This way, those in the same family don’t have to pay twice for access to content. It seems silly.

Bug. The signs were helpful but I had to wait 15 sec between each question because everything would just bug so much

Yay. I love it!! very repetitive which helps me memorize effectively.

Details messed up. Loving the app and excited to keep using it. But a lot of the hints (which are so helpful) are out of order and on the wrong signs

Fantastic App. This App is amazing at teaching ASL, easy to follow and learn. The tactics they use while teaching are very effective and I find that I can easily remember the signs. They use excellent positive reinforcement by giving you chests when you complete the lessons and revise, however, my only wish is that you could use the gems to customize the app as the items you can buy allow you to skip the learning. Just a small little point to the App. I think this is well worth the money if you are serious about learning ASL.

Hit a wall. So I’m on level 15 where we are working on “rooms” but the lead up instruction is missing and while I can manage and follow well enough I kinda feel like I was left to sink or swim all of a sudden. I get it one day but one level to another should be a better supported transition. Grew up in a deaf mute family and relearning as an adult, realizing my brain knows the signs but has to reattach to words. It’s why I’m so expressive when I’m mad-turns out I’m signing without knowing I am. So far your app has helped me fill it back in but then this level tonight, smh, you could have lost a student. So I love this app because I get to lear to watch sign while doing it. Yesterday it would have been 5 star, but today I got thrown a test with no prep or teaching, I figured it out-but that’s not the point. I look forward to continue using your app as one of the best supports I’ve found yet. So great potential and maybe I did something wrong and skipped a lesson but it needs a little work to fully nail it. Thankyou for your app though it’s very helpful for me and I really like it and it’s been very useful but there are some tweeks coming out. I’ll keep playing of course But if you don’t know you can’t fix, and once I say something it’s been said and can be acted on or put to rest, I make sure I do. I’m not trying to be a Karen, I just want to help the teams that build the apps that help me use them to be in a healthy way as an autistic person.

False price advertisement. Wanted to subscribe for 1 month to try the full version. On the app it says 5,99$/month for 1 month, but when I click on it the app store says its going to charge me 7,99$. Any explanation ? I’ll change it to 5 stars once I get an answer because this app sounds very promising.

AWFUL. I am writing because I am terribly unhappy with the quality of the app. It is the bare minimum. Even the study option is always correct, so what’s the point of having a no button in the first place? Not really revising if you know the algorithm which is always yes. I was so unhappy with the app I forgot I was even using a free trail, just got charged and I am desperately wanting a refund

Cool. I just started and I already learned a lot

Really good but can’t give 5 stars. Don’t get me wrong this is one of the best apps for learning ASL, it’s best features include: • Dictionary: Allows you to look up words and will give you an illustration of how to say that word, pretty much google translate for ASL. • Lessons are fun and easy to master. •Alphabet: Includes alphabet diagram. Cons: • When using the study feature the “No” button doesn’t work so every sign they give you will be a “yes” **(not sure if that changes later on?)** • Spelling errors in lessons, it kind of seems sloppy, unprofessional and a little untrustworthy. If you can look past that then disregard. • You have to pay to access all content

Awesome!!. I love this app it would be a 5 if they add more lessons like when you do all the easier lessons it unlocks hard then hard then the best!! But otherwise its soo good for beginners! I want to learn so me and my bff can talk without anyone knowing what we are saying! And also it might come in handy when em older or now you will never know!! That’s why I love this app!!!

Should be free. I understand wanting to make money off of a service but charging people that want to learn how to speak to those who need ASL to communicate comes off as selfish. To financially benefit on others disabilities is sad. If it was going to a good cause I’d pay but as it’s not clearly outlined where my subscription will go I’ll be finding other methods of learning. Good idea but poor execution.

Refund request. Hello, I’ve tried to cancel my subscription but it charged me anyways. Can I please get a refund, in exchange for my may-June subscription?

Love the dictionary. Helpful to keep fresh on signs and practice, thanks!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It is soooooooooooooooooooo bad! Would give 0 stars if I could. It is so predictable. I can just guess and it shows a picture at the top. Also I don’t care about orange juice or milk. I wanna learn stuff like hi or what is your name .

Fun and easy. I love this app! Such a fun and easy way to learn!!!!

Love. Love

Really great but. You have to pay to get to the second lesson, which is reasonable, but it’s still a factor I would rather not have there. Otherwise, very good, like Duolingo but for sign!

So easy to learn with this app!. I purchased the month subscription and absolutely love this app - it is so easy to learn! My only suggestion would be to make the flash cards a bit harder (All the answers are yes so perhaps a combo of yes and no would help). Also, for the study section it would be helpful if there was an option to just show the gif and we can type in the answer, or just show the word so we can practice before showing the gif answer 😊

Pay to continue. First lesson was good but the app wants you to pay to continue :/

Not great. Dont love the app. Doesnt give great lessons.

Awesome!. Love this app sooo much! Only prob is I finished it within 2 days. Could you add more lessons, and conversation ASL? Thanks! Otherwise I love this so much, could be 5 stars! It’s like Duolingo for ASL! If u don’t have this app already, get it! It’s awesome for beginners

i love this!!. I decided to learn ASL to help deaf people and as a beginner who started less than a week ago, I can already say complete sentences, the repeats and mastering the words help so much for memorizing.

I love it but. I don’t get why I can’t do a bunch in one day or is it just trying to make me pay or something I am confused?

Absolutely wonderful app. It works like a charm, and the dictionary is such a helpful tool to have when you forget words for a second. The dictionary even mashed together different signs to help create a sentence!! It has a study feature to help you retain words you just learned. I’ve remembered ever single word I’ve learned on this app. The team that created this did a phenomenal job 😁

Awesome App!. Have tried a couple of the free lessons to get a feel for it, and it’s great! So easy to pick up new words :) my one hesitation is that looks like the last version was released 2 years ago… are new lessons still being released?

Could be better. The app could use some improvements - when I lose connection to the internet the video examples won't load. Needs an offline mode - the full sentence examples use signs for words that are different from what was just taught. Very confusing. Just get one person to sign everything so it's consistent. - the lesson card that has you type out what a sign is comes right after learning the sign, so it's never something that needs memorizing. I usually just hit the skip because they're useless.

Why do you have to pay to continue. It teaches u to memorize and is nice but you shouldn’t have to pay to continue lessons sign language it should be free to anyone to learn

Disappointed. Really enjoyed the app until it asks you to translate the sentence you can’t scroll to choose the words.

Smooth enjoyable easy learning. This app is fun to do and I really feel as though I can remember more using a combination of the different styles of lessons here than just reading through a book of signs or watching videos.

Great app but needs a few fixes. The app overall is great but the hints on some are wrong, they refer to a different sign, like when and what, and the woman signing on some of the signs they captured her other hand in motion like she was thinking what to sign. In asl that can be bad if one finger is in the wrong position you can mean a different word and might upset someone.

It needs a little work. I’ve always wanted to learn ASL but never knew where to start. I downloaded this app and from the beginning was great even though I have to pay to actually do anything it’s great. However it keeps kicking me out and I’m gonna be really mad if I just paid money for this and then it doesn’t even work. Please fix this I really want to learn.

Great beginner’s app!. Really great for starting ASL! I’ve learned so much already. I was wondering if there was a way we could use gems to unlock more lessons? Right now it looks like the only way is to wait for the daily ones or pay, but this may be a cool way to unlock more. Just a thought! Love the app!

Great App minor suggestion. Truly helpful and will actually teach you sign language, my only gripe is the flash card section is always a yes answer so it’s really not flash cards? Again this app will absolutely teach you sign as easy as possible.

It was great to a certain level. I didn’t like that you only got one free lesson, but I got the free trial anyway to try it out. I loved it until today! 😕 All the levels past “household” either glitch like crazy or have no image or video at all so I’ve been guessing most of the time. I don’t think it’s worth the money until that gets fixed. Otherwise though, it’s great and the signs are very accurate! 🙂

Great. I love this app. I would like to see the study feature be upgraded to include no answers. I would also like there to be more sentence study as you progress. There is one or two in the lesson but this would be a helpful study feature.

Le review. I (a student) wanted to learn ASL so I downloaded this app. It’s good but there are a couple things I don’t like. One they go to fast when showing you how to make the sign and two it’s kind of difficult to tell what they are doing with their hands to make the sign. It feels like it’s more made to help you recognize signs then be able to do them.

Best asl app I’ve tried. I really like this app overall. However, I’m in high school and don’t have a job, so I can’t afford to pay to unlock all of the lessons. I really wish I could unlock more lessons with gems. I have severe anxiety and need to relearn asl to communicate when I’m nonverbal. (I took asl 1 freshman year but I don’t remember enough to thoroughly communicate) This would really help me, and I imagine it would help others too.

How Do I Cancel?. I want to cancel my trial before I am charged the annual fee but I see no sign of how I can do that. How do I cancel? It is an interesting app, but there is some choppy editing between the GIFs, so the beginning of another sign sometimes shows up at the end of the sign you’re working on. Sometimes it’s tough to tell if it is supposed to be included in the sign you’re working on or not, which is confusing. Assuming the new lessons continue to have these glitches, I don’t think it’s worth the cost.

One complaint. This app is amazing for learning and the dictionary is amazing but the flash card section only gives you the sign and the word asking you if it’s right even though it is ALWAYS right. they either need to mix up the signs or make it at least able to flip around. other than that, this app has made me so good in sign language only a week!

Amazing. On the website you can learn so much you can choose any word and they will teach it to you. They also teach you a free lesson each day. You can pay for it but you don’t have to. And it will teach you the alphabet. I hope you found this helpful now go get the website.

Beginners Look Away!!!. I am fluent in sign language and this app is not the best for beginners… When you study the flash cards, the answers is always yes. Then whenever you click an answer, there is a picture with the answer right above it. ( The person will sign the color black and the color black is the picture over it.. To me it defeats the purpose of learning if it’s literally giving you the answers.) This app is definitely not worth the $60 a year but rate it two stars only because it made my mom happy.

Some complaints, overall pretty good. You guys have “you’re welcome” as “your welcome”, in the video for the sign for “in” it has both the sign for “in” and “out” and it marks me as having written the wrong answer just because I capitalized it... also I’m not sure if you guys can fix how it makes the vocab words one word even if its two words (ex: “getout”) Overall pretty helpful, the signs are clear.

Jerkiness makes it hard to tell when a sign is tapped twice. I am a beginner and like this app, but it is jerky on my iPad Pro. I cannot tell sometimes if the sign is really being tapped twice, or if the app is just being jerky. I have to do a google search for the sign so that I can be sure I’m learning it correctly. Having a nice smooth video presentation would be wonderful :)

American Sign Language. I use this app daily to help me with I am having trouble figuring some signs out in the ASL book I use. The app is very good tool and resource to have. It goes with me everywhere so I can learn signs anywhere. Greatest app I have used thus far.

Great app but feels like it’s missing something. I really do like this app. I like how the lessons are set up and how each demonstration repeats to give you time to understand it. Things I don't really like: The rewards system don’t really do much. I have hundreds of unclaimed chests and skip options. Flash cards are always Yes, haven’t finished to ayes or no that was a no. Sometimes flash cards get stuck on the wrong word, forcing you to chose yes even though you know it’s wrong. There’s no sign for Keanu Reeves, it makes me spell it out. Guess we can use sign for Breathtaking.

Best signing app I have found. Started working at a school for the deaf and I really needed a god resource. This app has a great lesson structure so I’m picking up lots of vocabulary. My favorite parts are the sentences. I have a hard time understanding what others are signing to me, so that practice is so important. If anything, I wish they had more lessons like that. I need both the vocab and the sentences. Their dictionary is awesome and I’ve often relied on it. I would be a lot more lost without this app. It was thoughtfully put together.

Add tab for saved searches. I think this is the best sign language app currently available. One thing that would be useful to add is a tab for saved searches so I can have easy access to my most frequent searches. Also videos showing a slow conversation would be very helpful.

The dictionary is really good!!!. I was very impressed with the dictionary. when you have more than a few words, it will switch through short giphs on repeat showing you each sign. I really love that. very helpful for learning. I played around for a few minutes and its really good so far! I really enjoy the dictionary and believe it is the best feature.

Good but NEEDS Improvement. Pros - Great daily lessons that help you memorize new vocabulary - Easy to use - Graphics are good Improvements - Lessons should have a general overview option where you can scroll the vocab as well as do the practice features. Sometimes if you would like to review, it’s helpful to not have to go through all the interactive exercises - SENTENCE FORMATION is a must. Lessons should have more examples on how to use the vocabulary in sentences - STUDY FEATURE needs more development, such as sentence formation based off the lessons learned. Another could be reciting popular poems or songs with learned vocabulary

Just what I was looking for!. I love it! Very high quality and very well structured. It’s a proper visual learning: uses images to show the meaning of the signs, has a a person signing rather than stills, and helps you learn the words in context by practicing sentences. Honestly, best signing app out there.

Easy to understand, no annoying ads. I am trying to learn sign for convenience, courtesy to deaf people I may encounter and maybe even to get a job with it. So far I find this app incredibly insightful, explaining why the sign is what it is. I will definitely have my kids involved in ASL

Developers!!. First of all I think with the flash cards the answer needs to be more than yes. Maybe raven multiple choice questions. The next thing. I think you should chose a couple different classes without paying because maybe some people can’t afford it. I’ve seen this on a lot of reviews on this already but I 100% agree! There should definitely be tests.

NEEDS more sentences practices. I like the app it’s a good refresher for me however they do a couple sentence practices at the end of each lesson which isn’t enough. And almost every time the words are in order, not to mention the fact that the app didn’t even say anything about how to write it out/how to sign it out. But at the end of the day I’m going to look like an idiot if I can’t even sign a simple sentence.

Don’t pay for this. If this app were free, I might be inclined to be forgiving. However, it isn’t, and it’s coded badly. The same answers of “Apple” and “orange” pop up repeatedly on multiple choice questions, the game-style currency is meaningless and useless, the leveling system is also useless because you don’t need the chests- all the questions are easy, you don’t need skips. And the study section questions have the answer as yes every time. Even more damning, “new lessons every week” is a flat-out lie. Spend your money elsewhere.

Good app. Hi this help people learn sign and that is good because if someone is mute or deaf then you can talk with them and you can make their day because not everyone wants to learn but if you do than you can make the world a better place🙂🙂🙂

Unable to answer correctly so stuck. In the first set of lessons there are two questions that keep repeating and there is no way to answer them correctly. The words are on the screen to select with no option to type the correct answer. I need the word “was” but only the word “is” is available. That means every single time I am wrong when I answer. I am unable to get past these two questions, and they keep coming back.

I’m hoping this is correct sign language. If this is correct sign language it’s perfect for everyone it has everything that a person would need. And is easy to use you have access to an alphabet and a search bar for anything.

I LOVE THIS APP. The thing I love most about this app, is the dictionary. If you want to know a word in sign language, you go to the dictionary and look up the word. So far, I know how to say “Can you please pass the milk?” thanks to this app. My friend is deaf so now I can communicate with her!

Well made. I’ve been having problems with speech recently and I’ve been trying to find an ASL app that’s free (I know it’s not a lot of money but I still don’t have the money for this) it’s well made and you get the first lesson for free but then you can’t continue unless you pay the subscription. It’s a great app and seems good for kids, money is really my only issue which I understand makes me sound a little snobby but it’s just inaccessible to me

wow incredibly simple way to learn!. teaching my daughter asl while refreshing my own knowledge and this makes it sooo simple! shes 3 and she was learning ‘Yes’ ‘no’ and ‘what’ so easily that i wondered if there was an app that could help me teach her and i all the signs i forgot and its so user friendly i immediately subscribed! i love it!!

It’s pretty good. I’ve used this app before and as a 100 percent “hearing” person I find this very useful. I know a few partially and fully deaf people and I use this to communicate with them. But communicating with fully deaf people is harder using this app considering that the words are basic beginner words but love the dictionary.

It’s pretty good. I have learned lots of sign language even from not paying . But I have some small issues , the camera detector works but can sometimes skip 1-3 questions when the movements are too similar. And the lessons are really obvious because of the pictures. Over all I did learn a lot ! :)

Good but not the best. This app is good for searching words quickly, but the lessons dont rly work. For example, if the question is “which sign means Chair?” There will be two ppl signing, but a picture of a chair will be above one and a picture of an apple or something on the other. It renders the asl part useless bc the pictures tell you everything.

Love it. I really like this game it is helping me learn a lot and I have only been doin it for a few days. I have tried other apps to learn Asl and I didn’t like any of them as much as I liked this app so if you’re reading my review trying to decide to get it or not you definitely should. With a lot of apps for Asl I wanted some changes in them but I can’t think of any for this app.

Free ? Of course not!. There is supposed to be a free version of this app, but it offers just a few signs a day at the most. At the moment, it’s only reviewing signs which I can do by myself using the library of signs. Today my free lesson had just two things: good night and I love you. And the paying app is just too expensive. Also I find it odd how many negative reviews there are (apparently the paying app is not great either) yet all over rating is 4.8 stars?

Good, but shouldn’t have to pay. This app is amazing. But it shouldn’t require you to pay. I’ve been up all night trying to find an app that will help me learn SL, but all of them require paying. This small little tweak in my journey to become fluent in SL isn’t going to stop me. Deaf people shouldn’t have to go through all this trouble just to be able to communicate with people. Can you please fix this? What if deaf people can’t pay for things like this every month? What if their parents can’t afford to get them a teacher to teach them how to do SL? Please recognize my review and make a change.

Great app, learning with my 5 year old. It’s a great app! I love the gifs that it provides to us so we can learn! I’m teaching my son to learn ASL because you never know when it could come in handy. I’d love us to help people with needs when ever we are out and about. Never hurts to be kind.

Not good. I’m not sure who is rating this app 5 stars, but the lessons are so fast, they never really test you, they sign things really fast and it lags with other signs which I assume because they’re filming them all together, so I get confused what I should actually be signing. They also put sentences together and use signs you didn’t learn yet, so you have to guess. So far the flash cards are “is this sign “good”” and they have all been yes answers, I tried to answer “no” one time and it wouldn’t even let me hit no, which would have been the wrong answer, but it would have taught me. They also spell words wrong a lot like “grandmoth” and “lob” which is supposed to say lobe. Really could be better, would not pay for this app.

Otherwise amazing. I just wish the they didn’t have the pictures, because it makes it like you can cheat. And there should be a feature where it asks you to sign stuff in a video and it tells you if you get it right.

Study needs to be revised. The answer is always yes. Not even have to look at the sign. An actual quiz would be great. Also a feature to interpret a phrase. We not only heed to be able to sign we need to be able to understand when others sign

Very good. I want to learn ASL because all my friends know it and I want to know it too but also so I can teach my deaf dog I'm already taking sign language classes in school but I've learned so many words already I downloaded the app 10 minutes ago

Awesome. My kids and I are learning ASL using this app and we love it. I just wish there was a way to check progress or star a sign that we’ve mastered. Also, wait a few second before starting the sign because the younger girl signs are confusing at times

One minor fix would be HUGE!. I love this app and it has helped me learn ASL really well. The study feature leaves a little bit to be desired. When you “study,” the answer to all the questions is yes. I would love some variety of study tools like matching, games, or flash cards to make sure I’m retaining some of the older content.

Ok... When you study your flash cards, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for the answer to be yes every single time regardless of what is ACTUALLY being signed. For example, the flash card “hamburger” showed the sign for “hello” and even when I hit no, nothing happened. I tapped it a couple of times, and it wouldn’t work. I tapped yes, and it says I got it correct, but I know for a fact I didn’t. This makes me incredibly wary of using this app to pick up sign language, even though I was enjoying it.

Only a good app if you’re not very dedicated. This app is good because it shows a real person demonstrating the signs, but you can only learn like three signs a day and you have to wait 24 hours before doing more. I wish it wasn’t like that. Plus, the signs that you learn one day might be apple or water or eat and the next day might be sky or table or inside which have nothing to do with eachother so your progress is scattered all over the place. If you want to be super nit picky, the signs are a little too fast.

It is free, so…. The timing on the recorded examples is horrible. Some don’t show the full action of the sign in a way that’s easy to understand where it starts and stops. Other examples blend signs together because the signer is apparently doing all of these signs consecutively with no break between words??? It is free though so I guess you get what you pay for… I’d easily give this app five stars if they cleaned up the recorded examples.

So awesome!. I never write reviews, but I feel like this app is worthy of one. The team that built this app clearly put so much time and effort into creating it, and it worked out. I’m learning ASL so fast, and the way they teach you makes it so easy to remember the movements. Really loving it ❤️
