Was working, but not anymore. I think one of the recent updates might have crashed the app. It doesn’t work correctly on my iPhone anymore, but it does on my iPad.

Needs some work. My biggest complaint is that I cannot create my own color pallet. Aside from that the controls are janky and often don’t work as expected. The swipe controls are difficult to get used to and they are far from intuitive. Even though there’s a short tutorial on the controls, I struggled with using the app for the first few times I used it. And it isn’t made clear that you can save high-res still images at any point of the tutorial. Also the Live Photo button on the top left looks like it’s a toggle to stop the image from being saved as a Live Photo, and it most certainly is not. I’m glad this app exists, but it needs improvement. But please, above all else, just let us at least choose our own color pallets.

Inscrutable interaction design. I can't figure out how this app works on macOS. (Maybe it's a Catalyst app that works fine on touch-devices - but all it shows me is a series of wallpaper images, with no controls to change/edit/save anything.) The wallpapers look great, but I can't figure out how the app itself works. I've tried clicking, dragging, typing, checking the menu-bar options... it's inscrutable!

Great start..... Amazing concept and execution in terms of customization, but the base images are a little to plain, boring and just not very diverse in terms of color palette. They just seem like 3D rendered images that are altered through the app’s program. I’d love to see more images that are up to date in terms of iOS design and other OS design.

I actually found you on Appdb. But this wallpaper app was so handy and suited me so well I had to come out to the App Store and buy it. Well done! Sometimes I just want a wallpaper. I don’t want to wade through choices and spyware just to have different colors blaring at my face for days on end. This is the wallpaper app I never knew I needed. The amount of wallpapers I’m getting for only $2 is insane. I would’ve happily given $5 or so for this.

Edit. I used to love this app. But i just found out today that they are going free! Yay! Except that they were already free. I got this app when it was 0 dollars before this premium update. I don't understand if you'e trying to trick users. Whatever it is, it is sad. Another Great developer turned, money hungry. Edit: oh well

2 stars. I give this app 2 stars because it only gives you like 10 wallpapers to choose from. And I need more then that!

Fantastic. Very fantastic app, need more wallpapers please.

Great app. A very handy app to mix things up. I like simple dark backgrounds, and this app is perfect for generating those. Lots to choose from and everything can be adjusted.

Meh. The live wallpapers are nice but theres not many option and it'd advertised to have widgets and I cant figure out how to get them!!!

Not Worth The money. Very limited User Interface, limited selection to wallpapers. and the app is just very 2009ish era. In otherwords, just download telegram and subscribe to a wallpaper group, or just go on gumroad. This app needs MAJOR improvements and is not justified for the price tag. Wouldnt even pay a dollar for this rubbish. TLDR: Not Worth it, Use Telegram, or Gumroad for wallpapers. Spend your hard earned money on something thats actually promising.

Immediately crashed when editing first wallpaper. I quickly tried to get a refund and the app store denied it and said this wasn't elligible.

Simplicity Wins. The best wallpaper app I’ve ever downloaded. Simple and perfectly customizable. Just what I was looking for!

It’s ok. I can’t use live wallpapers because it just stays still and how do I use color pallet like please i have iOS 16

Horrible😡. First of all the wallpapers are so boring and generic and just lame, the app takes up too much space to be that horrible I don't recommend that you get it, trust me it's not worth it go check out some other apps not this one.

Unusable. UI disappears and there is no way to easily change, adjust or save your images. I like the idea behind this app, but the implementation is not there yet. I'd be happy to share my experience with the developer because I really want this to be an awesome app.

This is a great Wallpaper App but... This is a great Wallpaper app but the new widgets doesn’t work sometimes it works but sometimes it just shows a black screen

Red screens. It was nice but now only half the wallpapers work. They’ll load and then screen immediately turns red.

Quality in the app doesn’t match saved quality.. The image quality of the wallpaper doesn’t match the quality of the saved wallpaper. I can add an example if needed.

Wow, it’s really terrible.. Like truly poor in every manner of speaking. Extremely limited selection. What is there is poorly designed. App loads very slowly. Glitches out 50% of the time.

Needs variety. High quality wallpapers, but not many to my personal tastes. Hopefully updates bring more styles.

Great app, some bug fixes and UI changes would smooth it out though.. Love the idea, app is very useful for its purposes. The only bug I've noticed is that customized palettes don't to save correctly, interface is intuitive but needs a little more clarity. Beyond those suggestions is just adding some more templates/backgrounds and you'll have built a 5 star application, great work.

CREATOR PLEASE HELP ME. I just got the app and no offense five bucks is a lot, but I don’t know how to put it to my wall paper I’ve tried and they don’t move. I also have no idea how to make my own color palette like it says in the pictures. Please respond to me with instructions. Thank you so much.

Wonderful minimalist wallpapers. If you want wallpapers with designs that don't distract from what's on your screen but still look awesome, this is it.

Cool Idea, Too Little User Control. Pros: - simplicity of tapping and swiping to see different versions or different designs - results more often than not look pretty good - pre-determined palettes are a good idea - blur slider is a nice option Cons: - WAY too many color palettes, dumped in an unorganized list - inability to add or remove color palettes (as if anyone could filter through the millions) - inability to choose individual colors - inability to use fewer than four colors (the app seems to add one back semi-randomly if you remove one) - inability to choose a specific variation of style, random only - inability to choose colors for specific layers/assert, random only - linear navigation with no looping If I could summarize my disappointment it’s that I was expecting a more robust wallpaper creation tool whereas the app feels something closer to a wallpaper aggregator that allows randomizing of the colors.

So what is free?. This was listed on Apps Gone Free as free but it cost 1.99 for the premium . If the free portion is the basic, it is as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.”

Not worthy at all. I was deceived by the rating when I purchased the app :( Very few images there !! You can only tone the color. . That’s it , I wonder from where the developers got the courage to sell it by 2$ From my experience it deserves 2 cents maximum @_@

Cool app. I like it! It has a lot of the designs that you can’t find on other apps. Coming from someone who loves patterns and such. This is a winner!

Not great. For me, this was not great. iPhones have very basic and ugly wallpapers as a default now, so I was curious about this app. If you like the extremely generic wallpapers that come standard with iPhone 11, then this is for you. If you’re looking for pretty wallpapers, use another app.

Love the wallpaper. I made a mistake, but I love the wallpapers! Keep up the good work. I hope there’s more to come. I did donate so hopefully that also helps.

Eager to see the app grow. The customization options are great, and the current wallpaper selection is a decent start. That said, the options do feel a bit limited. I would like to see more designs, and look toward to seeing what additions will come in future updates. Though not perfect, I don’t feel like I wasted my money.

Live Wallpapers do not work. Bought the app, created a live wallpaper, cannot set it. The saved wallpaper is just a still image.

Great App. Love this app! Finally nice to have a wallpaper app that has some original wallpapers that you can even customize the way you want them!

Extremely limited. Only shows a few wallpapers before asking for tip money for more.

No instructions. Ive updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars, now that I’ve figured out where to find my saved wallpapers. Because it is not a free app, I still think that it should have more choices and ways to modify the ones they offer. Original review: I purchased the app, but am unable to figure out how to make it work with IOS 16. I downloaded the wallpaper but can’t find it when I search for it. No support for my dilemma. This might be better for other phones, but not mine.

Nice ambient wallpapers!. Beautiful app which creates random-patterned and colored backgrounds and wallpapers just by tapping. Love the 3D look of many of them--they really "pop" in HD! You can have detailed patterns or simple background gradients--whatever you choose. Highly recommend it!

Refund please. This app keeps crashing no matter what. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, powering off and on. Terrible app

2020 Best Wallpaper App Award. After testing and evaluating several highly-rated wallpaper apps, I’m awarding The Wallpaper App “Best Wallpaper App”. It’s fantastic! The generative algorithms used to create unique yet customizable wallpapers over and over again is great. It is so easy to produce a wide variety of subtle, non-distracting backgrounds for your home and lock screen—without scrolling through all sorts of garbage images (that should never be used as wallpapers) that are present in so many other wallpaper apps! My only suggestion would be an option to always add a subtle black gradient to the top of each image to help hide the notch (when exporting for “this device”), or a black OR white gradient at the top to make the menu bar more readable in Big Sur (when exporting desktop-class images, which, yes, this app also lets you do!)

Barely any backgrounds and too much money. Costs too much for this terrible app. You need to at least add more wallpapers. The wallpapers are bad too. Add some good ones. I’ve had a free wallpaper app better than this.

Horrible! Waste of money!. This is definitely one of the worst if not the worst wallpaper app I’ve ever used. The reviews that are good have to be fake because I can’t imagine anyone using this app and feeling 5 stars and a very positive review. No way. Don’t waste your money.

Love the images, but why not set the desktop picture for me?. I really love the images that this app makes, but it's a bit kludgy to have to save the images out and set them as my desktop picture manually when there's an API to set them directly on the Mac. Please consider adding the ability to set desktop pictures from directly within the app in a future update.

Confusing and boarder line broken. Frame rate chugged when I launched it. The instructional text is cut off at the bottom of the screen. There are black bars either side of the wallpaper. It asks me to "hold" in order to save, not clear as to what I need to hold in order to save on the Mac. It just looks like a quick port with little care taken in making the app usable. I love the idea and how good it is on the iPhone / iPad but this version on the Mac is very disappointing.

Drag and drop is Epic. Using this not only for wallpapers but color palettes too. Have to set a time limit on myself or I can get lost in this app for hours. Well done devs, a wallpaper app that doesn’t suck, I think youre my first!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent app - very creative wallpapers!. This is an excellent wallpaper app. I really like the versatility found in long pressing the Save button to find the right resolution for each device. BRAVO!

Marvellous app!. I bought this app premium edition before all the bugs were gone and the developers have been very responsive in tracking them down and fixing things. I must sat that I appreciate the resolution options that are provided and the unique images and styles it presents. I’m hoping for great continued development. Great work!

Not free. Supposed to be free today but it’s not

Money deducted without any notification. I have downloaded the app and in few minutes my bank sent the notification as your app deducted money from my debit card. As per apple guidelines there should be some indication for customer that it is a free or in app purchase app. But in this case there is no such indication and the moment I downloaded the app my card had been charged. This is so deceiving and fraudulent to charge customer without users awareness and consent. Please help to change this practice

Good, but not great. I found Tapet on a quick sample of Android. Tapet is great. This app is not as good as Tapet. This app is headed in that direction but it needs MANY MORE variations. Many more. I’ll fix the review when they fix the app.

Constantly Crashes. I’ve had Android for years and used Tapet for my wallpaper and this is the closest iOS has to it. Worked fine upon first opening, but after tapping once, the app crashed and closed. Every time I open the app now, it force closes a few seconds later. I’m using a 15 Pro on 17.1. I’ve tried getting a refund 5 minutes after purchase but I have to wait until apple charges me, but then I’ll request a refund since the app doesn’t work.
