Moises: The Musician's App Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

This app is a must have for people that want to re-create there favorite music. If you've ever tried to figure out something in a song that you want to recreate, but have a hard time separating all of the sound in your head like me, this app will be groundbreaking to you just like it was to me! (even with the free version) you can split up a song that you want to recreate into 4 distinct tracks that you can change the volume of at will. So you can pick out every little detail of each individual instrument, it's amazing. this app has helped me figure out some stuff I would have never known! Very quick and easy to use, and I haven't had a problem ma with it at all so far and it's been incredibly fun/useful!!!

Basically nothing until you start paying.. Very limited capabilities and only five free songs a month until you subscribe. There’s no opportunity to test all the functions the vendor claims. No, I’m not going to pay to play—I will gladly pay once I know what I’m getting. I didn’t find a single diminished or augmented chord in any of my five songs. Maybe I’ll wait until June. When I download the IBM’s Rational Developer for the System i or Madcap’s Flare—both apps $1,000+ to purchase and 30% annual maintenance—I get full-function apps for at least 60 days. Those demonstration terms are clearly stated—you know exactly what to expect and you have plenty of time to determine the value of the software. Maybe this is a killer app. Maybe it is but they make it hard to find out.

Irritating glitches. Honestly it’s rather late at night when I’m writing this, so I’ll cut to the chase- I don’t have premium but I tried to take the music away from the same video 5+ times because it kept making an error. The video always ends up with no sound at all on this app and it’s just very annoying. I ended up having to use so many different accounts because of this one video always glitching!! I tried to crop the video, make different copies of it, and other things but nothing will work! The apps just broken for me. There’s other glitches and inconveniences I could get into, but like I’ve mentioned before, it’s late so I’d like to keep this short. Sadly this app had so much potential. It’s useful, but 100% not reliable. If it weren’t for so many errors and glitches, I would definitely rate higher! Although I’m very upset and unsatisfied, I’ll admit the only thing that make this app so difficult to work with, and dragging it down is the glitches and premium privilege.

Really enjoying Moises. I play electric bass guitar and I’ve found Moises very helpful for learning songs by isolating the bass track so I can make out each individual note. I also use the function that allows me to slow down the song to play along with, until I can play it at tempo. I download into the Moises app the purchased songs (from Apple Music) that I’m working on - it’s always been a smooth process and never had a problem yet over the six months I’ve been using the app. I often use it in conjunction with my Fender Micro Mustang headphone amp, which has Bluetooth and can connect with the phone or computer. I also have begun using the loop function to work on specific parts of songs, which I often do on the desktop version of the app (easier to navigate with a bigger screen). Finally, I’ve started using the app to help me organize into playlists the recordings I’ve made (using the voice memo app and uploading into Moises) during my bass lessons (recordings of my teacher for etudes I’m working on) or recordings of original music I’ve made with my band, so that I can play along with the recordings. I really like Moises, it’s a great practice tool for me and works well.

Issue with showing displaying cords. After using the free version of Moises for the past few months I desided to purchase the Premium version so that I could follow the chord progression during my practice sessions. I was very disappointed to see that this feature stops halfway through the song. I logged out, removed the app and reinstalled it thinking this might correct the problem. Unfortunately it did not. Has any one else experienced this problem or is that just how it works? I will circle back on my rating until I hear back. RESOLVED: Once I removed and reloaded the songs everything worked great. I love this app and use it everyday.

linklake. Moises is a good way to rebalance , L-R, some or all of the musical instruments or vocals of the song. You can also raise or lower their volume for a better blend. If you aren’t using all digital equipment with a computer, it’s a great alternative. It’s limiting factor is the number of tracts you can separate to do this, and perhaps an occasional sound artifact. Vocals can usually be completely eliminated if you want to swap your voice with them. The free version allows a few songs a month to be re-edited/mastered and recorded. The premium version allows lots of songs and extra features. Been using the free version for about a year now. Very pleased.

Why Moises is second to none. I’ve been using this app over 2 yrs the last I became a premium member best move I ever did as a drummer it is the best practice and teaching tool I wish this was around 45yrs ago when I started I have a lot of original work recorded and since the passing of my singer and gtr player I thought I would never be able to perform those songs again, live or with my band mates while I was highly mistaken with the Moises app I’m able to pull her tracks out and me and my bass player right along to our original music plus as a drummer and trying to plan cover band with ship just doesn’t cut it for me to become a professional app, I’ll be able to go performed by myself and play covers and original music by I recommend spending the 40 dollars a year and get the premium membership as far as I’m concerned, this is the best app ever, cross this is a must for drummers and music teachers

Excellent App - Separates tracks easily and effectively. I am learning the bass and Moises really helps me learn and play along with my favorite songs until I learn the bass line. It has a very easy and intuitive interface and the free app does practically everything they have to offer, but not just unlimited. I have enjoyed it so much I decided to upgrade to the paid version for a year (very reasonable price). I had only one question to ask customer service and they responded quickly and were very friendly and of course very helpful. Keep up the great job!

Incredible isolation of instruments!. I just found this app by perusing Internet for a better way to isolate instruments. I have tried other apps - free and paid - but didn’t give me as many features as I would like, or work the way as described. One popular program I use works well for NEW songs only. I was looking for a way to practice ANY song - new or not so knew, hymns or contemporary, 1950’s up to today’s releases. Looks like I found it in Moises! I can listen to bass, piano, and take our the vocals. Or make them louder! I can save, download, and share. I can change the key, add metronome, speed it up. And all for a free on the trial. I look forward to seeing what happens when I get th full version. I’v only been using it for an hour, but so far so good! Thank you! This technology has come a long way, and I believe it will just get better!

Awesome music reference utility powerhouse!. It’s like having iZotope RX ($1,200 software) music rebalance tool in your pocket for free. It takes all of the tools musicians like to use to practice and break down music and puts them together in one easy to use apps! Getting all of the information you need about a song, and creating your own mix to play along with right on your phone makes jamming and practicing so much more practical than needing to create a new version of the song every time. Either in some expensive software or online service. Being able to just change something about my musics playback on a whim instantly allows me to stay in the creative flow, and lets me execute a vision in real time. The list of ways this app is useful is miles long!

Awesome App!!. Being a musician (drummer) and finding a way to practice ALONG with the song while giving you that full band experience is great!! Being able to download individual tracks and adjust the volume as well is also a bonus!! Ability to change the keys and adjust the tempo is always a blessing on anything however the fact that it’s learning to spell out the chords in the songs is very impressive. I would love to see an option to split potentially more tracks or a better variety of separations would be nice as well. Also if there was a way for it to learn where the loop should go would be dope as well. It’s nice that it loops the entire song but if it could loop at a spot that wasn’t “off” of the music or interrupting to the flow that would be cold!!!!! However I am very impressed with this App!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to not only spice up rehearsal time but to spice up your overall approach!!!

Best yet!. After trying various apps that claim to separate tracks/ stems, this one certainly does the best job so far. I think the price for the premium upgrade is fair and worth the money. If you understand audio, it’s extremely difficult to get perfection taking into account that each recording is mixed differently and the better the source audio is, the better the results. My initial impression is that it’s very well designed, simple, intuitive and if used properly can be an excellent tool for beginner to pro musicians. I would give it a 5 star rating if the resulting audio was perfect but I have hope that technology will get there. This one is close and I recommend it!

One of the best apps within this century. You can used this app for many things pertaining to music, you have to just give it a try and if you don’t like you can always erase it. I know that if you are a musician or some one that sings you will love this app. You can take out voices and you sing to the music you love and still have the correct background vocals to help you with timing. If you play any instrument, this is the perfect app for you. what ever instrument you play you can easily take it out and put yours in while playing to the song that of your choice. 👍🏽Ok back to the music . 🎵 🎼 🎶 God bless you& be blessed🙏🏾.

What can’t it use songs downloaded to my iPhone? It just a money maker for apple. This app won’t seemly work with songs not purchased directly from Apple and NOT other vendors mp3 downloaded to your iPhone from iTunes. Have a large collection that u want to use with this app download it to your iPhone? but it appears you can’t use them? It tries to route me to songs I have to pay upwards of $1.29 directly from Apple. a little kid might pay for this, but a grown-up is not gonna pay twice for songs They already have just to use this app. Apple always tries to act like they are the only MP3 vendor. There are many places to buy music online and Apple is only one of them, and it really irritates me that Apple created environment where people act as if you have to use Apple’s iTunes to buy an MP3. There are many others like bandcamp, which has better material than Apple. The developer of this app makes mega bucks for having it sort of pay to play system with Apple. Please make this work with music on your phone that You already have downloaded to your iPhone instead of just your upsells of apple stuff. It will make you seem a lot better in terms of your character

TAKE. MY. MONEY. 🤯🤩🤪. This thing is so dangerous, it should be illegal! Seriously, it is the BEST tool for learning songs AND the individual instrument parts to a recording. I’m an old bass player and to know I can pull up a song, zoom in on the instrument, slow it down, change keys, loop a section AND adjust the fine tuning of the recording to A = 440 hz seems criminal when compared to learning a song/part strictly by ear from an analog recording like cassette or vinyl. Hoping this tool inspires the current generation of youngsters to take up instruments, learn their favorite tunes, and get kids playing music all the time instead of video games! 🤣

Solid app. This app is close to perfect for me as a drummer learning cover songs. The only improvements I would like to see would be the following: 1. The utility of this app would skyrocket if it had a slow down/speed up function. (Seems more than doable to me) 2. Drummer problem: If you strip everything away but the drums, the higher ends (mostly hats) almost always get stripped away as well. (I don't know much about audio engineering but I could see this issue being near impossible to fix) if these notes aren't cutting through the rest of the mix you're still left guessing a-lot when trying to get a note for note cover on something.

Free Is Always a Win. Been using Moises for quite a while and it’s honestly amazing. If you’re a music nut and you’re very particular about importing an audio recording so you can cut the vocals out of the song, but you can still hear background noises, that’s because it’s the entire song being messed with and not just the vocals individually like if you were to use a high quality app. But if you’re just trying to make a ringtone out of a song and wanna change some things around and don’t need it to be perfect, for example, then this app does a good job. Already messed around with several different genres of music and it’s worked for every single one. 100% recommend.

SUGGEST FOR HEADPHONES. I really suggest for headphones if you bored in the car or anything just the only thing I don’t like is that you can really mix and edit you songs along at once so I have found a solution that you just keep on screen recording and then outtting into the app. But otherwise this app is great and I love listening to music so it is really good and it also says what level you can go on and I’m in the beginner and it showed you all of the steps which on most games is boring but it actually was fun I am on a 20 hour car trip and have used this for 3 hours so far and showing my friends what I have just created but maybe you thing I might be a robot or whatever but I’m actually not I’m in Georgia and I am listening to all of the songs I made in the car and I love this app and that final

The Working Musicians #1 Practice Tool. As a working drummer this app is my go to for learning and working on songs. I have the paid version and it’s absolutely paid for itself already not only monetarily but also in my confidence in knowing a song before stepping into a practice setting or onto a stage for a sub-in gig. I can take the drums out of any song I want, provided I purchase and own them (iTunes is my go-to). I have only run into minor issues importing a song every now and then, if I let the app sit for a bit and restart it will import the problem song without issue (as long as it is purchased and owned legally by the user). There has yet to be a song that I bought on iTunes I could not import even if initially it would not let me do it. There is also the ability to add a click to any track and make set lists (however the “count in” click is not always in time with the bpm of the actual track. It is notable that when removing instruments from a song you keep pretty dang close to studio quality of the remaining instruments so it is extremely easy to listen to bass lines and lead guitar parts without any background noise. From the working musician to the karaoke enthusiast, the paid version of this app is absolutely worth it.

Good but premium thing is not. So i’ve been using moises for a couple weeks now, and i’ve realized that you need premium to download more than 5 songs. This kinda annoys me because I send people beats and I don’t want to be paying to send someone beats for music videos. I understand it’s a business thing and gets the developers more money but I just don’t really like this feature. I’ve constantly had to make my own beats on my computer because I can’t get premium when I can be doing it way easier on Moises. Overall I feel like premium should still be a feature because it could provide the creators more money, but I do think You should be able to do 10 songs instead of 5 before having to upgrade to premium. I know it isn’t a lot of money but I could save that for future things. It gives people who use this a little bit of time to explore the app before having to upgrade.

Doesn’t Separate Multiple Guitar Tracks. This app works fine at separating vocals, drums, bass, and a guitar track. I went premium for a year with this app out of the box and was disappointed that it doesn’t separate rhythm guitar from lead guitar, it just smashes them into one track. It should be useable for songs with one guitar part, but that isn’t why I subscribed. I subscribed hoping it would separate tracks so I could practice my lead parts and still have the rhythm part’s going. Other than that, it is a fine app. Great for singers, drummers, and bass players, but falls a little short for Guitar players. Maybe in the future they will upgrade their a.I. to separate guitar tracks but as today this is kind of a waste of money for me.

Absolute love this app but I have just one question. I’ve been using Moises for almost a year now to listen to my favorites songs and I gotta say that it’s been a blast. However only being able to upload 5 songs once a month can be a bit of a bore to wait for. I’ve been considering to upgrade to Premium so I can have unlimited uploads along with accessibility to more of the app’s features. And that leads to my question: If I were to upload a song while subscribed to Premium and then at any point in time if I were to cancel my subscription, would I keep my uploads or will they be discarded unless I keep the subscription or until I re-subscribe? Whichever the case, I’d most likely still be using Moises in the future but an answer to this my question would be most helpful to me. Thank you!

A Drummers Dream Come True. I have never left a review for an app in my 56 years, but Moises makes it a first. As a drummer, and a musician who respects copywriten material (no free music rips etc.), this app has changed the way I listen to tracks I want to play to and how I practice to them too. To be able to isolate five tracks and zero in on every aspect of a song is so important to any musician in order to see where their part really lies without over or underplaying. For example, on my iPad, I remove the drums for my playback practice with count in, click, section and lyrics on, but on my phone I can set the levels of the drums up and lower everything else allowing me to go for a walk and get the drum parts in my head over and over again with no confusion created by the other instruments and vocals. Since 13 I have played to recordings trying to “play along” and “mix” to whatever degree I could, but since getting Moises, that process has been improved 100 fold. I love this app and am very happy I found it.

Thank you Moises!!. I use the Moises app for my own entertainment by taking clips of my favorite songs and listening to their instrumentals. Let me tell you it is so AMAZING to eat everything separated, from the beat, the drums and the vocals. I couldn’t have experienced this without the app’s and it’s efficiency on doing so. It makes me feel more of a connection towards music and they way it’s made from different layers of sound. Giving this app a 5-star rating because I just think it’s a great app to experiment on and maybe use it for yourself to make covers or songs. I’ve never made a rating before but this one definitely gets it’s approval!! 🤍

This app is amazing!!!. Sometimes, when looking at a painting, you can isolate the individual elements. You can see each subject, the background, each individual brushstroke. But you could never really do that with music— it’s just one wave of frequencies that hit your ears. Until now. Moises harnesses the power of AI to separate the individual instruments, each part of music, into their own separate tracks. It’s truly amazing technology, that I highly recommend it to anyone who likes music. Indeed, it’s helping me learn more about how music works than any music theory class I’ve taken so far. My only issue is you have to get a subscription to fully use the service (I am so tired of passing on really cool apps because I have to pay a monthly subscription) but this time I made an exception. If they offered a lifetime cost for it that was reasonably priced, I would jump for that so fast, though I do understand they’re running a cloud service and do have maintenance costs.

BEST for making karaoke tracks!!. I discovered this app about a year ago and ever since then, I’ve made hundreds of my own karaoke songs. It does such a great job of not only isolating instruments, but also the ability to isolate background vocals. It’s great at removing echo, reverb, and other effects too. I’ve worked with vocal removal programs for at least 20 years now. A lot of them do a great job at removing and separating music and lead vocals but often also remove the background vocals. With this program, you have the option to create a separate stem for them. Yes you have to pay for a premium subscription. I pay about four dollars a month but it’s worth it since I’m always finding new songs I want to make karaoke tracks of. And it works with any source. I’ve made Tracks from digitally transferred LPs and cassettes. As long as you have a good quality source file you’ll get Good quality results.

Audacity, simplified. Perfect for vocal covers!. I’m actually quite surprised about how well this can take away the vocal section of certain songs. However, much like trying to remove the vocals from songs, through Audacity, there will be little hints of some volume changes and minor alteration in overall quality, in certain sections of a song that contained vocals. Therefore, you wouldn’t quite have the studio quality mix of the song, due to the reduction of the vocals, or any other sections of the song. Regardless, it’s good enough for practice or recording covers. If I were to record my vocals, or guitar parts, I would just figure out how to blend in my parts into the instrumental, and do a post-production mix on my computer.

Absolutely love this app!. This app is AMAZING for what it does, especially with the speed and result in which it is finalized. To be honest, I had a slight glitch with data transfer at first, which turned out NOT to be the fault of the app itself. Once I had navigated past that minor obstacle, (with the prompt and efficient help of Moises customer service) the app has served me above & beyond the capacity for which I had initially expected, prompting me to purchase a full year sub. (*For the record- this review is solely formed of my own opinion & experience, and was not solicited by Moises, or any other company or individual.)

Haven’t Experienced Anything Like It!. I’ve been using this app before famous YouTubing drummers did reviews on it. I have not experienced anything as incredible as this app. It’s my daily go-to music app for removing different instruments out of the mix. Although the vocal/instrumental may not be perfect for some songs, it really gets the job done and that’s 5 stars in my book. Very easy to use, although I had some issues regarding signing into the app because I had a songs processed with a free account and songs processed with an upgraded account, but I believe there has been an update because I haven’t experienced any issues regarding this problem lately. Another thing with this app is that you have to have data or WiFi connection. The app offers a metronome, count-in, tempo changing, pitch changing, and a really cool feature that includes chord detection of the part of the song that you’re on. I had to upgrade my account because the app was just that good. I hope that you enjoy the app as much as I do!

Worth every penny. After using the free version for months, and even that deserves 5 stars, I upgraded via desktop (not sure why desktop is cheaper than mobile) but this app does everything I need whether it be for helping my cover band with backing tracks for their parts or for performing solo with the tracks back on me up this app does everything. If I were to add any features I’d add the ability to pick what instruments I want separated vs a pre-selected set (vocals, backing vocals, guitar, bass, drums etc etc) and the chord display to stay native to e standard when I put the music in e flat. Like even tho the chord being played by the app is now a B, it’d be awesome if it still displayed it as a C chord so I didn’t have to think about moving it up a fret. Overall 5/5 very satisfied premium user.

Finally an answer to “how to I practice on my own”. As a drummer I’ve always been irritated that if I want to practice songs on my own I either have to pay an exorbitant amount of money or just play over the original song and pretend I don’t already hear the drums in my ears. Moises still charges a fee but this feels fair. $40 for the whole year is nothing compared to the competition. Even if they were to raise it, the cheapest competition I’ve found is at least $10 a month. So even if they raised it (Moises team don’t get greedy on me now) they wouldn’t come close to being as pricey. This is by far the best use of AI I’ve seen yet. Keep up the great work and I’m excited to see what more is to come!

Any song?. One of the main selling points for this app is it claims you can remove the vocals from ANY song, including those in iTunes or Apple Music. This is not true. You are given the option to import a song, but if you look down at the very bottom of the page, in tiny light gray print, it lists the supported file formats. AAC is not one of them, which is the most common format Apple uses for their music. So then, if you REALLY want to use this song, you have to find a way to convert it to one of their supported file formats. Don’t get me wrong. This app does a beautiful job of removing vocals. It’s just frustrating that I can’t convert the majority of my music. I felt the app description was very misleading.

I like it, but I don’t love it (yet).. This app is amazing for what it can do, I’m a full time musician and using this to practice songs on drums, piano, guitar and bass has been amazing! But! There have been a few times where I would put the metronome click on the left and put every other tracks coming out to the right but the clock was still bleeding through the right signal (recently had that situation during a live stream and didn’t notice until I watched the playback 🤦🏻‍♂️). I hope in the future there could be a desktop/laptop version of this app as well as having this app be interface friendly where we can have the tracks in stereo (out 1 & 2) and click (out 3 & 4). Another con is the metronome itself, there have been times when the metronome wouldn’t be accurate in parts of songs and would sometimes drag or rush out of sync of the song then back, if there could be a way that we can fine tune the metronome somehow? Anything that can help in those areas would be amazing and definitely worth paying for. But over all, this is a really great product.

Really great app!. I used to use vocal remover on safari but whenever I imported a song, it always changed it to another song so then I figured out that this app was a thing so I switched to it. I like animating and editing, so like I use this app to remove the vocals, like in case there’s any inappropriate lyrics or the background music is good like I just wanna remove vocals or a certain instrument or something this app really helps with that so if you’re an animator an editor like me, then I would suggest using this app to remove the vocals, and like make the audio better! Really great app!!

Had great potential!. I was looking to create some backing tracks for some guitar covers. I started testing with heavy metal songs and it did a decent job. The technology isn’t perfect but the stems are usable. However (and this seems backwards to me) when I started testing simpler acoustic songs, the guitar tracks were getting grouped with the “other” slider (the icon with the 8th notes). It wouldn’t be a big deal but this slider also controls other sounds in the track and muting it makes the track real dry. I figured clean, acoustic guitars would be easier to separate but I guess that’s not the case. I did pay for 1 month of premium because I wanted to give it a fair shot. Was excited that I could do this from an app instead of using a desktop. If you ever include support for brass/wind instruments, I’ll give it another go!

Stellar. As a intermediate plus guitarist and entry level song writer this app is loaded with features for a price of 13 upgrade. Be forewarned- may sure iCloud is turned on and you have lots of space…might need to by upgrade to get more Cloud space. App does not find files until cloud upgraded. Many problems and hours wasted to figure that out. App could handle better and tell it can find files and type (apple only) Update: works much easier with mp3 imported via other sources or via DropBox (free trial). More complex and rangier songs fail to load via iTune/Apple music.

Wish I bought this a long time ago. This is amazing! I am a music producer, mostly use Ableton Live on my laptop. I’ve been producing for 9 years now. I use MixedinKey and RX7, some much more expensive programs. To my ears, using AirPod Pros, and I test out many different audio outputs, this software was able to cleanly separate different sections of audio. I only did 2 songs so far but am blown away at how powerful this app is. The first song I tested was an indie singer/songwriter type of melodic song that has a drum beat and acoustic guitar and singer “Anytime I Go” by Aaron Espe. I was able to use this to send a fairly clean acapella to my Dropbox to edit on my computer later (get it even cleaner with some audio processing and gates). The second song I chose was a trap beat called Uppers by Mr. Carmack & Stooki Sound. I chose it because it has more clean bass than most songs I know. The app was able to completely separate the synths and fx from the drums and 808s.

This is pretty cool about one question. I really like this app and I do recommend it, but some of the songs that I want to recover the words too when I was little some of the words I couldn’t recover because the music was so loud I couldn’t split it, so can you make it to regardless of how loud the music is it can still do it if you can because when I was little I guess I made it loud when using GarageBand And one other thing, five bloods per month?! That’s barely any, it’s not fair for free users that want to stay free and don’t want to pay a lot of money just to have unlimited uploads. Please at least make it five or six uploads per day because I have made two songs in GarageBand that I want to split, I would give it a five stars. It wasn’t five bloods per month and instead it be five uploads per day.

Totally amazing, and for an amazing price. As a future musician/music producer, I have always wanted to have this available to me, however multitracks and editing songs and such things are only limited to computer but here, I can change the key of the song, choose to have vocals only, bass/guitar/strings only, drums only, keys only, etc. and I have had a lot of fun over the past few months with this app. I would recommend it if you’re like me and want to mess around with music and manipulate it somehow even if it’s something as simple as muting the drums/percussion. One feature I wish was added however, and if this is not yet doable that’s totally alright, is to change major songs to a minor mode and vice versa. But other than that, I love this app and I love messing with the music and everything, 5/5 from me!

Love this app, but…. App is amazing and I use it most of the day even when I’m not at the kit. I would absolutely use Moises way more if not for a few issues I’ve encountered. I frequently change audio output throughout the day and for some reason it seems like there’s maybe a bug to where you lose audio and I have to force close the app to reset the audio output and then it works as it should until you force close the app, then change audio output, then restart the app. Just a headache sometimes and I’m sure it’ll get fixed. My other “complaint” is that I’d like to be able to random play a playlist like I would with the Music app. Otherwise an amazing app and I’ll be happy to change my review if these two points were added.

Amazing and good quality. I think that Moises is a really good app and it has no fees and even if you have to pay I’m telling you guys it is worth it please download this app. It is amazing I love putting songs there to take away the sound so I can think of myself and feel like I am that celebrity. Please guys get this app me and my friend love using it I just convinced her to buy it she doesn’t care how much it cost she will buy it so if you’re seeing this review, don’t even look at the other reviews and buy this. Don’t be an idiot and waste your time looking at the other ones if they’re good or not just look at this one and say you know what mom, dad brother sister I’m gonna get this app because this comment from this girl named hadassah and Sapir said that this is a wonderful app so if you trying be a celebrity and you love beat, but you don’t want to do you make songs with your own beat you can use their beach. I am telling you please buy this. This is an amazing amazing No joke. I’m not lying about that.!!

Great potential for some applications. I was so excited about trying this app! The possibility of deconstructing the different tracks of a song offers so many possibilities for production of new mixes and instrumentalists. For my use case, it just didn’t live up to the hype. I’m a string musician (cello), and I was hoping to strip the solo instrument to leave only the accompaniment (such as piano, other strings, and/or electronic effects). Ideally, I would love to have the solo instrument track for tempo and pitch focused practice and the accompaniment track for performance. In reality, only 2 tracks were populated (strings and all others) and neither was clean. The strings track had acceptable levels of contamination, but was missing the instrument in some areas. Maybe because the pitch range was so extreme? The accomplishment track was pretty useless. The solo was muffled, but still prominent. I’m unsubscribing for now, but hope for improvements in the future!

Better than then anything else I could find so far. This app has been great. I’m a beginner so I’m mostly just flailing on my drums to songs I know and it’s perfect so far. Only reason for not having 5 stars is it crashes unbelievably often and there’s just simple quality-of-life improvements that would make this so much better. I have almost 20,000 songs to sort through and it would make a tremendous difference if I could sort through my library bands, it would also minimize load times. Another huge addition would be the ability to que songs from the list and stay on the same page instead of being forced to go to the App Library every time you download a song. For the crashing situation, I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, nothing else running in the background, full power cycle and ran with and without wi-fi. Edit-changed my review to a 5-star. For the first time in my life this app changed in the exact manner that I was hoping for! Cheers to the developers for listening to consumers!

Good app for when you want to separate the music from the voices. This app settled my divorce, I realized that my wife and I were not meant for each other once I heard the beautiful voice of Taylor swift without music and just calm and ethereal. From the moment I heard that I knew my wife could never compare to Taylor swift I knew in my 12 years of living that I had not been living for myself and even though my life was basically over by that age I divorced my wife and created a multi 10 dollar company selling bottled happiness and made my way to marrying Taylor swift. So yeah good app for vocal and instrumental separation five star out of five.

Great practice tool. This is one of the greatest practice tools for any musician to learn any recorded music. Playing along to a recording is great but this steps it up to the next level by isolating what you want to hear. As a lead guitarist it’s great for working on timing tone and execution by not having your mistakes covered up by another guitar player. The pitch changer is pretty cool too. My only complaint is the phasing/washing effect that occurs when frequencies bleed from a track that is supposed to be muted, but hey it’s still awesome. I’m sure a lot of these problems will be fine tuned as the app develops. This is a tool that I really wished I’d had when I first started playing 35 years ago…. I highly recommend it to any musician for practice and just cutting loose and having fun.

Excellent music tool, but…. This is an excellent music tool and I love the features that it provides, but… it’s a little annoying how you can only transpose the song up or down one half step. I understand that this is a feature that you should pay for, but I would rather only make a one time payment. It is just annoying because I won’t be using this app every day and I don’t like paying for something I’m not using all the time. I would rather make a larger one time payment and have the tool whenever I need it or want it. Other that, this is sold app and definitely recommend it to any and all musicians.

I LOVEEEEEEEE IT SJEGEJDJDJDJ. I just had so much fun when I first saw this app on TikTok I had the best time on it. I am still using it right now and I am enjoying my time with it. This is a five star add indeed I don’t know what else the other review say I’m just sticking with my review. This is the best app I have ever found in my entire life or my entire time of living on this green earth I just love it so much. I’m still going to use it. I don’t care how much they say it will take up gigabytes and megabytes I don’t care how much I will still keep this app I will delete all my other apps take outs. Keep this one might not delete all the apps. I’m sorry, but this is a great app. Indeed I recommend this app if you don’t like it I’m sorry you’re missing out.

Absolutely Love it!. After many years, I have started playing guitar again. At 55 years +, I’ve played my share of shows all over. If I would have had access to this tech back in the late 70’s when I started my musical journey….I can’t even imagine how this would have impacted me! I absolutely love this app and the desktop version! Made an old guy learn some new tricks! Highly recommended! Thanks to all the developers for your hard work of makes this type of tech available to the music community! And the continued updates, it keeps getting better!

A solid choice I constantly recommend!. Moises is a wonderful app for anyone who is just trying to have fun or somebody who genuinely wants to use this professionally. I am constantly using this app to test songs I’m thinking of adding to my set list when I am out performing. And even only having had the free version of Moises, it has genuinely helped me be more efficient with my work. I highly recommend Moises, as I constantly do daily to my friends also in the performing profession. And to anyone who just wants to have a fun karaoke night with their besties, here’s Moises! Also recommending this to those who are beginning to practice music production. I find an app like Moises helps break down songs so I can better understand layering instruments or sounds over top each other. There’s probably MANY other ways that this app can be useful. Whatever way that is, have fun, and rock on!

They made the app worse!! So sad!!. This app was Dope! But they changed it. When the app came out it was amazing for a year. The export quality is now horrible sounding now. And the pitch shift and tempo change features make the song sound worse than the cheapest softwares I’ve heard. It Can not be used for anything professional. It used to sound perfect. I use it on both a new iPhone and MacBook. Any regular dj software works better than this now. Now the bass sounds so wobbly and out of key. All these good reviews are from when it was good before they change the algorithm that they use. Such a rip off now. The whole point of this app was to be able to do these processes faster than dj software. But now it doesn’t even do what it claims correctly. It does it horribly. Their license on the software they were sourcing probably expired and they went with a cheaper system to save money , bandwidth and server storage space. Save your money. Sad.

LOVE ITTT. I literally love this app!! I saw it on tiktok and it looked really cool so I decided to download it and it’s AMAZING !!! You can make the voice down, the drums etc and even tho premium is better and I’m thinking about buying it. But I really love how you don’t have to pay to get to use the app ! It’s so fun to just use. Definitely Recommended! 😆

Just wow🤩. I absolutely love this app. It is really cool because I have always wanted to make song have no music or no words. But the only thing I don’t like about it is you can only choose songs from your library. Thank you.

Great! 👍. It’s pretty refreshing to have an app like this that isn’t full of subscription nonsense and isn’t difficult to navigate. If you’re looking for help with creating instrumental versions of songs or anything like that, this is 100% the right app.

Simply Brilliant. Although brilliant, its not perfect. However, as a musician, this has been very helpful when breaking down songs I recorded years ago to help me understand how they were played. Very helpful when trying to remember older songs going into live work!

Pete. What I have always wanted. To be able to isolate a track helps me to work out if the tab is correct. Once I have learnt it, I can turn that track off and play the whole song with the ‘band’. Bass player…

Very surprising. This app does what it says it does no file size restrictions nice and neat it will store your audio mixes once separated with an option to email them out or open them in another app. Couldn’t be happier ❤️

It’s amazing. I’ve been struggling for a while know trying to find an instrumental for this one typical song and I needed to perform it for an assignment… I honestly nearly gave up on the song until I found this amazing app which literally saved me (literally). The track separation tool is very easy to use and produces a smooth and seamless audio track. Perfect for musicians trying to find an accompaniment for songs that aren’t ‘popular’ enough to have karaoke or instrumental versions. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

I love it!!! But just one small problem…. This app is amazing to use for my music production and that but one small thing that I think should be improved is that you can hear the vocals slightly when you mute the vocals. As well as when you mute the instrument and other it cuts out some of the vocals. Thanks for reading if you have - Tucker

Amazing. Simply put…. Fortunate, as I am, stumbling upon this unknown app some time ago got my juices (of the creative kind) flowing. I have spoken to D.J’s, Musicians, Music Lovers… None of them have heard of this app. So… I VERY carefully vet WHO I tell and why. But if you have found your way to reading this review… YOU have passed the test. Buy it. Thank me later.

Yes and no.. Okay. I started using this app is was awesome but today when I went on I tried to edit an audio. But it said monthly use something like that. I have made 5 audios and just today I’m getting that it’s saying to unlock premium for $6 dollars a month. I clicked off of it and it showed up again. So it appears that I can’t use the app.

Really good but…. It was really good but you can only add up to 5 songs without paying premium and they don’t tell you this before hand and after you delete tracks those ones still count as your five. You can’t do much without paying. It was still really good a separating the music though and would recommend if you only want to use it once or twice overall it is good but could use some tweaking.

Amazing!. I love this app, but do you think you could change the pitching stuff cause when I pitch it up, it sounds like a chipmunk. And with the tempo, could you make it so it only does BPM’s (eg: 180 except 70 BPM because when there is a tempo that is an odd number and it has number like 70, it can mess up the timing.) That’s all, but please fix that ASAP!

Amazing app. Incredible app to just have! I play drums and being able to have the liberty to play along with my favourite songs without the drum parts is amazing. Great quality of export too! Thank you guys !

Fantastic App for musicians. I’m not a fan of monthly or annual subscriptions but this app will get me out of a bind where I needed to remove the drum audio so that my drum student can perform his Higher School Certificate music exam pieces without doubling along with the original drummer.

Solid app. Would recommend. As someone who only uses the app for a bit of fun the app works great! The free version offers plenty of options for editing the music of your choice and the devs made it really easy to import your favourite song for editing. My only complaint is that with some songs the app seems to struggle to isolate the vocals and sometimes the backtrack can bleed through even after you turn it completely off. Another thing I appreciate is the lack of advertisement for the premium subscription, unlike other apps that offer a premium version MOISES restricts some features and when it does of course it tells you that you need premium but there are no obnoxious pop ups that restrict enjoyment. Thank you Moises team!!

Legit. This app is a actually legit, it works, sure when you play an individual instrument it can sometimes be a bit distorted but the fact that you can control so much like speed, parts and their volumes, count in and more, all for free, this is the best musical app I have ever seen.

Amazing technology. It has been stated for many years that what this app does simply could not be achieved. This tool is a godsend to all musicians who need track separation. It is not perfect, but is a huge step forward. My experience suggests that the original recording has a lot to do with the quality of the separation. If you are happy with a limit of 5 songs per month, the free version will suffice.

Having lots of fun. I have only had this app for less than an hour but I’m already having so much fun listening to songs I’ve known for ages in different ways!

Subscription. Ok i love that i can seperate vocals, drums, bass and Piano or Synth with the free version, i love this app. Sometimes if i need to play a song in a band, i can just listen to the individual instruments amd better understand what's going on.

By far the best track separation I have discovered. I’m a drummer and have used this app to drum along to many songs. It almost flawlessly takes away the drum component of songs, and other instruments for that matter.

Amazing would recommend. I have so much fun with this app and all you need to do to get all the songs you want to download is put in your email and that’s it😁👌

Very Good. Very Good and easy to use for hobbyist like me. I soo hope the Hi-Fi version will become cheaper with time as tech advances increase. I would looove to hear the separated tracks hi fi quality because sometimes the tracks are a bit distorted. But still good enough for what I require. Thankyou!!!

Absolutely awesome. This app is so good!!! You can change the songs on tons of ways like changing the tempo, key and best of all, the feature where you can laterally take out instruments from the track!! Its so good and I definitely recommend!!

Awesome app. I was struggling to find an app that does this job, and this app does it so well, even with the free versions. Wouldn’t consider any other app after using this one. Moises has done a great job and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a vocal/music separator app

No Ads, None of that BS. This app is very high quality and there are no ads and annoying pop ups, truly just the app you were expecting but way better.

Wow! Surprisingly good results!!. Found this while playing guitar and looking for some decent freebies. Changed the key an octave on Paul & Art - Homeward bound and sounded just right to jam with my tones - Might try a month for a 10’er before forkin out the years worth - should be a one time purchase option though I reckon

As a beginner. I have just purchased a 12 month subscription for this app. Although I am just a beginner I think this app is fantastic! It is easy to use and I am amazed at all the things this app can do. Once I know my way around the premium features I am certain I will want to upgrade to the Pro subscription. Honestly, it is fantastic!

best tool in the world. i use this everyday for a year and it still blows my mind how incredible it is. the most amazing thing EVER, and you can still do everything you need to without premium. whoever made this are geniuses everyone nEEDS THIS

Moises instrument seperation app. Absolutely incredibke and easy. So so helpful for practice. I’m a guitarist in a Pantera tribute band and starting to learning their Far Beyond Driven album for the 30th anniversary next and Moises makes it possible for me to be able to check and rehearse my parts before getting to band rehearsals. Thanks Moises really great app

Awesome but one problem. I love the app it’s amazing but why do we have to log in or start an account to do it and then I have to go to mail app to approve and when I got it it said that the thing expired or it’s been used to many times now I can’t do it

Some artifacts but good for DJs. Does what it says it will do. Similar algorithms as what you fond online. Import from your iTunes library which is mega cool, or from your files app. When played as a mashup or a special mix at 100dB, works a charm, the small amount of artifacts won’t bother you.

Good splitting, poor pitch shifting. The AI stem splitting algorithm used in Moises is fantastic. The lyric recognition and tracking is also excellent. But this app is severely let down by its lacklustre pitch-shifting and tempo-shifting algorithm. Sometimes things (like bass guitar) seem to sound more out of tune compared to other instruments, almost like I’m actually hearing a frequency shifter. Such a shame because there have been great solutions to these for so long already; Elastique and PaulStretch are two examples that immediately come to mind. Would love to see this fixed.

Good but not great. Good but not great is my view. It does separate the tracks but there is often audio bleed if you isolate to a single instrument to work out the part; works better the other way round, eg whole band without vocal or guitar (for example) for you to play your part along with the recording. Better with newer recordings; it doesn’t like early Beatles for example which may have been recorded in mono or a few tracks. But its biggest flaw is it doesn’t work with Apple Music tracks, it ONLY can access ripped or downloaded tracks (MP3 MP4A FLAC) - this is a real limitation in todays music market. Ive tried purchasing single tracks from the Apple Store when i do not own the CD but that doesn’t work either. Another feature that other apps I use have is the ability to store loops (eg just the verse and chorus or loop the {bagpipe} solo), you have to reset it every time you use it. One last point and this is minor, adjusting the BPM is via a slider, you can’t type in a speed or adjust the recording by a percentage.

This is the new way to listen to music. Break all of your favourite songs, old and new, down to their essential elements, and appreciate them in an entirely different light. I have ripped all of my CDs into FLAC, and using Moises, I can now isolate Prince’s amazing harmonies and guitar solos and bass lines and hear the artistry of each individual element in its own right. I’m not a musician, but I love music, and we often overlook the complexities of seemingly simple tracks. Try this app on your all-time favourite song, and you’ll be hooked. Moises is ground-breaking. Love love love appreciating my old catalogue again. Thanks Moises!

Free version review. After fiddling with the free version, I’m impressed. With the choice of 2 or 4 separated tracks, transposing, chord display, metronome change and exporting, it’s pretty cool! However, after uploading one of my own songs to try the app with, removing the vocals for instance doesn’t result as “removed” in the export as they do in the app. In the app the vocals are totally removed. I could hear them still in the export as if they were an echo in the background. Great for the free version. If this is what happens in the paid version, I wouldn’t pay for it. Aside from this, it’ll come in super handy to play along to songs with guitar, bass and drums removed and of course sing along to.

Simply the best.. So many songs I’ve wanted to learn, but couldn’t slow down without greatly affecting the pitch or quality in other apps - or couldn’t loop by section, while slowed down - has been solved by this app. Auto-mapping out the sections, i.e. intro, chorus verse etc, is just so useful. Sorting songs into Sets helps as well for gig situations where you need a playlist on hand.

Great fun. I was put onto the app by a musician mate who uses it for practice and I have to say I’m impressed. I’ve only been trying it for two days on the free version but it’s got the potential to be fun enough to buy the full version. So I will. It’s not perfect as some bleeding between tracks occurs but it’s the best thing I’ve tried for the price! Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn a song or practice their chops along with the real band. The only thing I have found is there are certain songs that I know I bought on iTunes that the app won’t recognise (Primo Victoria by Sabaton, for example) and I don’t know why. But overall it’s excellent.

Premium account: awaiting customer support. I’m have a Premium account with Moises because I liked how good the AI engine is… Although I was impressed at first with how good the app was, I’m now awaiting customer support. The app won’t show uploaded stuff that is clearly visible when I log in via a browser. It’s pretty annoying — kind of like the app lacks basic intelligence though the AI engine is brilliant. Logged out and back in, and when that didn’t help I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still bust! The help/support page is the most annoying — worth kicking it in the *** — just super #^€!&@ dumb. I’m already logged into Moises on my browser BUT the support site requires a separate login that won’t accept my password BUT warns that I already have a valid account if I register for a new account. Anyway, hoping customer service can resolve this stupid thing…

Perfect app to make instrumentals. For all my Muslim brothers and sisters wanting to remove the instruments from the music, it works and is so easy to use!! Definitely recommend trying. 😊😊

Hear This !. It’s a beautiful thing for a modern audio app to quickly demix and isolate vocals and bass and drums from any song file with just a click and a few simple sliders. Export your deconstructed audio in any re/demixed version or the individual tracks theyselves. Free to save - but certainly worth and upgrade.

Amazing!. As a guitarist this is great for making your own backing tracks from the original song! Some paid features but overall an amazing app.

A Must Have App for any serious musician. This is by far one of the best apps available for any musician to wanting to analyze their favorite tracks and understand the structure of the song’s rhythm, harmony arrangement and vocal performances by isolating those individual components.

Mind blown. I wish this was around years ago. I still can’t believe this is possible the AI is amazing. I’ve given this five stars only because I couldn’t give it ten.

Great fun. Definitely recommend. Coming from someone who loves to listen too music, this would be such such a great app for anyone who likes to explore music as much as I do. With some of the songs I have imported on this app, it doesn’t completely get rid of the vocals when I chose it too, but it still works wonders. It’s not completely perfect and there is still room for progression, but it still is great fun to use and also very clever in my opinion. After playing around with the app, I was super impressed with the free version which I currently have. I am very impressed with this app!

Incredible teaching resources. I use this app daily in my instrumental teaching or own learning. Well worth the yearly sub price. App is constantly improving, upgrading features or audio quality.

How far we’ve come. It never ceases to amaze me what can now be done in the palm of my hand. This software does a great job. Would be 5 stars is it didn’t duck the vocals every now and then but I have no doubt the technology will only improve over (a relatively short) time. Well done.

Breathtakingly Amazing!!!. I don’t normally bother writing reviews but I am completely gobsmacked by this app. This app easily isolated bass and drums to create great guitar practice tracks. It’s also fantastic to be able to isolate guitar parts and hear what guitarists are actually playing. It’s not a perfect isolation, but it’s very very good for bass drums and vocals. To be able to automatically transcribe chords and lyrics. Wow. Click tracks and count ins. I am gobsmacked. Worth the upgrade to premium. Genius. Oh - has also been working perfectly in my Mac.

It’s good. Requires a subscription to access full features but worth it, if you want to extract songs from say iTunes you will have to purchase the song, again worth it in my opinion, of course music already paid for is available.

Pitch Correction/Adjuster feature Request. Pitch Correction feature missing. I have a paid Moises subscription. And after enjoying the free version I upgraded with a special offer. I have used the paid version for about a month. Unfortunately I keep encountering one problem that causes frustration, having to still use other software to fix pitches first, it’s not ideal for many reasons. Please add a Pitch Correction or Adjuster, that functions as a lever to make micro pitch adjustments to tunes not recorded in standard tuning. Not all music is recorded to 440 Hz. Therefore it would be extremely helpful to include this feature, which is already available in other non A.I. software designed for recording and transcribing music. Please make the Pitch Correction/Adjuster a standard feature across all devices and as part of the Free subscription. Because then the existing Key Change feature will have superior value for paying subscribers. Thank you

Most groundbreaking app for musicians ever. So many times me and my band members have wished it was possible to remove certain instruments from songs so we can play ours over the the top of it. This app is better than using any dodgy backing tracks or trying to make one yourself, BY A LONG SHOT. Please keep this app free. It’s amazing

Yes. Yes

Good for removing music. I use this app a lot for posting videos without music and this is my number 1 source!

Amazing. I can listen the bass base alone, with the chords generated by the software, or play with the band removing the bass. Worth.

Make your own backing tracks. No more paying for backing tracks! Make them yourself. What a cool app. Thanks!

Just a quick recommendation. PLEASE INCREASE THE NUMBER OF AUDIOS A USER CAN CREATE PEE MONTH! I AM SO DONE WITH GETTING THE NOTICE THAT I’VE REACHED THE MONTHLY LIMIT OF 5 AUDIOS! I SHOULDN’T NEED DAMNED SUBSCRIPTION TO BE ABLE TO CREATE MORE THAN 5 AUDIOS IN A MONTH! SO INCREASE THE LIMIT TO SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 100+ OR MAYBE EVEN 1,000+ AUDIOS PER MONTH

It’s good!. Just start learning drumming and this app help me to get the song I like to play a long with. 100%recommended

perfect app. sooo good at isolating instruments

Make a month free >:(. Bro I can’t even afford 7 dollars that’s a waste for me :I .

Killer sample cutter. Elite sample grabbing

LOVE IT!! 😭. I just love making sounds with this app so I LOVE IT SM💗

Great so far. I’m new to learning the bass and Moises has helped me in learning bass lines to songs. No complaints so far.

Nice&Cool!!!!!!!. I like it a lot! A good tool for any musician.

Super. Après plusieurs années l'application est super meme avec le nouvel mise a jour 🤟

Excellent Appa. This is a superb and excellent apps for the music ministry of every Christian church worship teem. Very helpful!!!!

Great app. Amazing app for musicians

Ta aztetik. Me gusto

Perfect. I love it

Where was this when I was younger. Being a drummer, all my life, practicing alone meant putting on tape cassettes and CDs, you're getting the picture of my age. That was fine but not ideal. with moises, you are the As a drummer, Moises offers a unique opportunity to reinterpret drum parts by muting the drum track. If you need to rehearse without certain instruments, Moises allows muting of specific tracks like bass or drums, facilitating collaborative practice. The inclusion of a smart metronome and a count-in feature enhances its usability. Personally, the count-in stands out as my favorite feature, especially for songs with drum-centric openings. Overall, Moises is a brilliant app for musicians.

Love this app!. This app is fantastic! Thank you moises! 🤍

Awesome!. Works great!

Game changer!. It changed how I learn music!

Awesome! Thanks. Love it!

Great App.. As a drummer, I find this app to be very helpful in learning new songs and practicing parts. I really hope the developers look into allowing users to edit sections for each song. In addition, it would also be really nice if there was a way to have an A.I. voice say the name of the section as the song entered that section. So for example, when the song goes from “Verse” to “pre-chorus”, we’ll hear “pre-chorus”. Similar to what some backing tracks do. Still a great app, but these changes would help make it even better.

Extraordinaire. Très content de cette découverte plus besoin D’ordinateur juste mon cell

Free stem player. This app is literally a free stem player

MUSICIANS CHECK THIS OUT!. If any of you musicians out there are looking for a software to help you look at any song you like at any sort of angle! From pitch change, to speed change, to instrument isolation. This app has it all. With 5 free songs of your choice EVERY MONTH!! Love this app. Would be very helpful for the cover musicians as well!

good.. it’s good.

Incredible, with one caveat. This app is a game changer. I am finally able to play drums to any song. Unbelievable work by the team. My only gripe is beat detection. I know this is a hard problem to solve, but 90% of songs I bring in fail beat detection and the metronome falls off by quite a lot. Hopefully this can take focus on the next release!

Great. I’ve waited for this all my life!

Hifi update intentionally making song lower quality. The app was great until the recent changes. Now whenever I upload a song the it will take out and lower the different stems when it it converts it and even when that doesn’t happen the songs will be in a lower quality then before the update. And yes I do pay for the premium version but I am currently considering canceling it.

Great. Great app for jamming

Makes anything sound good. I absolutely love it

Game changing!. Practicing with this is a game changer, instead of practicing with the track, you become part of the track. Highly recommend the upgrade, worth every penny!

so amazing !!. this was recommended by my drum teacher and I absolutely love it !! the functions are great so I can isolate each instrument . def recommended to musicians 🎧🥁🎸

Amazing app, the AI is so smart. Definitely recommend! Was doing a cover and needed only the drums from a song and it got them and it sounds awesome.

Great fun. Lots of fun to sing along with the kids

A musician’s best friend and nothing short of amazing. I use this program for teaching music - it’s an instant karaoke maker, it’ll create isolated tracks that are extremely helpful. The isolation of drums has artifacts that makes it sound phased and underwater and certainly not nearly as clear as an the actual isolated studio drum track - but it’s very cool nonetheless. I had a live recording of my band that was very drum heavy and the guitar was far too quiet - with Moises I was able to remaster it and change the mix, bring the guitar up, lower the kit and overall balance the performance, which is fantastic. It’s like tech ripped right out of my Sci-Fi hopes & dreams from the 70s & 80s. Thank you Moises!! Buy this app!!

Superbe!. Plus besoin d’attendre les versions instrumentales ! Vous pouvez isoler toutes les versions dont vous avez besoin avec cette application qui contient beaucoup de fonctions gratuites pour s’amuser! Je recommande !

Amazing app! For practicing, learning new songs, and teaching students!!. I’m a drum teacher and I use this app with my students all the time. It separates the tracks very well and you can do some crazy stuff, change tempo and key, add a click, add a count in, it shows the chord progression, you can loop sections, export tracks. It’s pretty unreal! Sometimes the AI gets buggy towards the end of the song but for what I’m using it for it doesn’t bother me. It seems to work best with newer songs that have good instrument separation in the mix.

…... Süperrrrrr

Very good app. It’s allowing me to jam regularly now, excellent tool.

Moises. Excellent program enabling you to have fun with all your favourite songs. Bravo!

Cool app. It does what it says, but you have to pay for all the cool features

Good app. It really helped me with music stuff

Connect with Apple Music!!!!. I love it it’s so fun but it won’t let me add any songs from Apple Music I would love a tip if someone knows how but other wise it’s a great app

Great app for musicians!. What an amazing app! Wish I had this when I was learning to play drums. But I’ve got it now and so awesome for learning songs!

Great app. I just started playing drums and found this app over the weekend. It is an amazing tool that enables me to play the chords on my piano that are moving across the screen and listen to the drum track separately so i better understand what is going on. I think i will purchase a yearly subscription to unlock more of the features.

Yep,. Good stuff

Génial. Super utile

Great App For Practicing!. I honestly enjoyed using this app for practicing drums! I no longer have to find a drum-less version of a particular song. Although separation quality isn’t the best as it does have some glitches throughout some of my songs but it is very well good enough for practicing. Ai will only get better and better so we can only expect this to get better throughout the days! I hope they keep this free and also keep the metronome for free as well not just 1 minute. But hey, $3.99 a month is not that bad in my opinion!

Wish It Worked Better. Love what the app produces. I just wish it worked better. It’s so buggy and you can do a whole 3 songs every half hour it seems. I have premium too and it still gets buggy and unusable after 3 songs. You have to wait fifteen minutes to a half hour for it to work properly after you’ve uploaded and produced 2 to 3 songs. It’s so time consuming. It’s literally taking all day to be able to do only a dozen or so songs. Hopefully it can be fixed because I really like what the app produces when it actually works. Very frustrating to have to wait so long.

😇. Besides, the fact that you need a subscription to do more than about five songs, this app is pretty great, because when you remove the vocals, it is almost a noticeable that there were even vocals in the song that you choose. You can choose between files, your camera roll, or etc. I recommend this app if you only need it for a few songs it’s pretty fun to use and your free time. If you really like music just like me the audio quality is great when you take out any instruments or vocals this app definitely deserves five stars. Bye!

AMAZING. Find me those people who likes making videos, and whenever I do make a video, I hate it when I find the movie scene and there's music in the background, this can let me upload a video from my photo album, get rid of the voice is, so it's only the music, get rid of the music, so tell me the voices, and now I don't have to rely on other people to make it for me! This is one of the best apps to try something like this with!!!!! even if you don't have the paid version , it's amazing!!!!

This app was great, new update is terrible!!! What happened?!. The latest version of the app is useless. It does not search my Apple library for paid for songs like it did prior. The my library option for finding songs is gone. If I use the iTunes option, If I try to scroll through my library (very large) app crashes. I cannot get the app to find paid for songs to split. Searching by name brings up some options but not the song I’m looking for “True Colors” for instance doesn’t bring up the song True Colors which is in my library and paid for. The app is basically useless for how I used it now. Please fix or I will have to cancel my subscription and find another utility.

WOW! What I’ve always wanted!!!. This app is so amazing! And EASY to use! Easily the most user friendly app of this magnitude by far. Just upload anything with music in it from ANYWHERE or ANYTHING, and it separates the instruments! I haven’t tried it with sophisticated orchestras and stuff…and I don’t plan to! I’m a drummer…I just need either the drums or the singer taken out…and I’m in heaven! Free version is good so far. I definitely see some perks I may use the paid version for on down the line if need be…but for now…this has it ALL!

Not so good. Yes, the app is OK but it only allows you to make one before you have to verify your email. I am not allowed to verify my email because my phone is restricted from making new emails and verifying on different apps and I don’t think that they should make you do that which they can only let you make one thing I want to make more than one and plus I clicked on something on accident and it did not let me stop. I tried like reinstalling the app and everything and it keeps on telling me that my email is unavailable when I checked my settings multiple times, and I copied and pasted it in to the text. Yes, it’s a good app for videos or anything like that but this is not so good.

Does what it says and does it well but you can’t browse other songs while a song plays. This is the first app I’ve ever reviewed, I’m a music producer and usually I have to be sitting at the computer and messing with files and programs to do what this app does on the go. I use it often, it does what it says and does it well. I’m giving 4 stars because you can’t have a song playing and browse for other songs at the same time, when you choose a song it brings up a screen and if you close it, the song closes with it. Even if that’s a limitation that isn’t addressed, it’s still worth it.

😐. 1 star bc it doesn’t do 100% of its job AND ALSO!! After ONE song, I wanted to try another song. So I went to open the file for it and your stupid app kept telling me to confirm my email address EVEN WHEN I clicked “Later.” So I went and tried to do what you wanted me to do but the link provided IN the app didn’t work. When i tried using Gmail, I clicked that and it never sent an email when it said it would ETHIER. So now bc I have to confirm my email dress even tho it won’t let me, I can’t do anything! I only did one song and it was a live version of the song I was doing and it sounded like a ton of dementors that were mumbling in my phone. Waste of time clearly. AND I BETTER NOT RECEIVE ONE OF THOSE COPIED AND PASTED “wE’rE sOrRy YoU dIdN’t GeT tHe ExPeRiEnCe YoU hOpEd FoR” DON’T EVEN🙄🖐 GOODBYE

Hopefully their support team can help…. For almost a year this was a five star app in my opinion but as of two days ago the screen view on my iPad is stuck on landscape, but with the simple layout of an iPhone’s portrait mode. There are no tools in the settings/profiles to make screen adjustments. The basics of the app work fine but not having my songs show up in the sidebar window when the iPad is on its stand by my kit has made it really clunky to use. On Tuesdays it was god’s gift to this drummer, by Friday I’m going nuts trying to figure out why this happened. I have a ticket started and hope too revise this to 5 stars once it’s back up and running right again.

How the sausage is made!. An invaluable tool! I would have killed for technology like this as a kid. I used to buy 45’s just so I could slow them down to 33 1/3, learn the licks and transpose them up. Because of that, I developed a great ear…but this is different. Being able to strip things down for greater clarity I’m able to find the nuances that get buried in a mix, leading to hyper-accuracy in transcriptions. Or I can just drop the guitar player out of the mix and be a member of the band. I’m old and hate technology…but this is life-changing!

Immediate problems. Vocals got completely messed up as soon as I started making adjustments. Now they won’t come back. Bass adjustments very weak. If I remove the guitar then the bass weakens considerably. If I remove drums then bass is also lost. Remove vocals and guitar, and the remaining bass and drums are super weak (like I’m listening through a thick wall). Just lost everything but bass on a couple songs, and restarting the app isn’t fixing the problem. In other words, there seems the be a ton of glitches. Looking through other reviews, it is apparent that others are having the same problems (though other people are describing the problems better than I am). Super disappointing, esp cuz a dude on YT was raving about the app. Would be a great app if they fix this stuff. I would even pay for it.

I love this app!!. This app is amazing! I love to make these sound because there are so fun! I definitely recommend the app so much, if you are looking for good apps that you could edits sounds and change the vocals I definitely recommend Moises. Having this app is like a blessing, One thing Moises Should add is like instead of inn porting the sound from files They should add the photos thing so when you want to import a sound you could select the sound you want from photos. But, Download Moises now ITS AMAZING!!!!

I have no words. Where have been all my life?. I can’t say enough things about this app. I’m a music hobbyist and pianist, so this tool is very useful when i wanna play along with the band or sing with a track, and in my preferred pitch. Hardly any songs have missed the target with voice isolation. Although I’m a lot of work went into making this product and it would be unfair to complain, I’d still like to see a slightly wider variety of instrument isolation. Oh, yeah. If there was a way to isolate clapping, that would be lovely.

Just awesome. As a new drummer, I needed something to try and break out drum tracks but didn’t want to spend a ton of money, nor create some electronic wizardry (that will come someday). I just wanted something simple to get started. This filled that void immediately! I’ve got probably 40 songs in my folder now that I’m trying to learn. Best $7 I ever spent!! If you’re just a beginner (or a pro) this is a sweet app for so little $$$. Yeah it’s not a 16 track mixer but I’m not rich nor a music producer … I just want to play and keep it simple.

This App Was Good Enough That I actually left a review.. Can you believe it? I’m serious tho. I downloaded three other stem player-esque apps so you didn’t have to and they were all really janky. This one lets you paste public URLs into it as well as whatever you have in your library. Anything on SoundCloud is fair game for a remix and I’ve been playing around for it for about 2 hours now. Synchronization of songs is very accurate and listening/playback is actually enjoyable. Yay good jobs guys.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I’ve been looking for an app like this for YEARS. It can detect chord progressions, find tempos, let you strip away tracks AND let you export them individually and you can do this with ANY SONG!! Just make sure you have the MP3, but if you don’t at least have the audio you want on a video, then the app can get the audio from any video and convert it to a MP3! This app is seriously amazing, I’ve been using it non stop for a few days now and I’m so so happy! It’s seriously my best friend that’s for sure. 🥹💕

I am amazed by this app!. I don’t leave reviews for many apps but I had to for this one. It’s so incredibly good and easy to use! As a singer, I have had to purchase karaoke backing tracks to be able to practice tunes minus the lead vocal and those are not always the highest quality (and that gets expensive over time). I highly recommend this app! The free version is good but definitely pay the money to upgrade because the extra functions and options you get are worth it.

I love this app!. Moises is awesome. I use it all the time to strip apart vocals and instrumentals. It works better or just as well as any other programs I’ve found online, but I can easily do it from my phone for free, without having to creat a new account every time or be limited to 10 mins for free. Obviously the separation won’t be 100%, anyone that has used apps like this before knows that. But for how easy and convenient this app is, I can honestly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

I love this app on so many levels. Wow… I have had software before that can separate vocals from guitars from drums etc. but nothing like this, at least without having to do a ton of tweaking. This app is so awesome because even the software I mentioning was never as good as this is when it comes to separating vocals. Even if you don’t need this application you need to go ahead and download it anyway because it is so much fun to listen to all your favorite songs like for the first time again in a new mix LOL Bravo developers, bravo!

I absolutely LOVE this app!!. I'm just gonna start off by saying you can make 8D music! This is by far the best feature about this app and theres no ads. And the removing the voice on a song is just like nobody is singing, if theres a echo in the song you will slightly hear that but overall this app is the best app for making content on socials and to just play around with! 5 stars, i just downloaded this app an hour or two ago and i love this so much. great app!!

Figuring out the best key in real time. This app has helped me figure out the best keys in real time for every song. I have download it to my phone. It functions really well and super fast. I have no complaints so far. The features are so well thought out. I’m not sure what anyone could even add to this. The ability to change keys, tempo, vocal, volume or instrumental, volume, and numerous other things while the song is playing is incredible. Thank you for making my Sunday mornings so much easier!

Five tracks ?. It’s a nice app. Though why five tracks monthly ? Even when you delete it it still counts them. I was tryna make a sound for an edit and somehow I was told “You have met your monthly limit of 5 tracks, would you like to upgrade your account ?” so I pressed it. My face was met with premium. WHAT ! I feel that that is something silly you need to pay for, more then five tracks monthly ? The app does what I ask for, which is nice, just which that we had a bit more access to things and not have to pay for ridiculous things, even though it comes with other stuff.

Fantastic. This is a top-notch practice tool for myself and my students, and it’s great for censoring songs in a way that doesn’t ruin the music. It’s also just fun to use as a way to hear songs in a new light. I pay for the $40/year subscription and I am very happy with it. Maybe someday if the price of the Hi-Fidelity tier comes down significantly I’ll upgrade to that, but for now, Moises is one of my go-to apps for learning songs and making backing tracks for students. I highly recommend this app.

MOST HONEST APP OUT THERE!. Many times, an app will say it’s free, but once you download, some monthly payment thing pops up. This app does have some premium features which can be purchased, but I’ve been doing fine for 2 years without it! You get multiple free songs a month, and instead of paying for instrumental songs, you download a song and it’s separates the vocals, instruments, and music for you. You can download any song that’s 5 min or less. I definitely recommend!! Best app so far!!! NOT A SCAM!!!

Good, but…. The vocal separation is fantastic! It is better than most of the other vocal and instrumental separation apps I have tried, because in this app there are no problems, unlike the others that have faint drumbeats over the vocals, or snippets of the vocals on the instrumental. however, the one issue that I have with this is that it is supposed to read the notes from the song and show them up at the top, but sometimes it skips over notes, or just stops on one. I wish the note reading was more accurate, but other than that it’s a great app

Song stops playing at the 30 second mark. I’m going to chalk this up to a bug, but I have the premium version and everything and all of my songs instantly stop playing at the 30 second mark. The timer keeps going as if it’s playing but the audio stops. The app is exactly what I was looking for but obviously this makes it completely worthless. I really need this fixed or at least an explanation of what I might be doing incorrectly to cause this.

This is a essential app for musicians.. Hello… I am just a subscriber to this software. This is my personal opinion. I’m 60 years old. I’ve been performing out both as a “hobbiest” and as a professional musician since I was 15. This app? Oh man… THANK YOU! The developer(s) have been brilliant! First, it enables you to reverse engineer a multitrack recording. It’s a tad crude BUT, doesn’t matter! You can expose the parts you need to study. You can slow down the tracks, mute tracks, change the key add a metronome and more. At 60, we are heading out with a band that plays songs from the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. Heck, we’ve even had rehearsals using tracks with say, everything muted except drums! 😬😏🥹. Just try this thing. It is one app that is worth every, single, solitary penny! I’m so very pleased… I want to thank the developer(s) AGAIN for having such brilliance and insight into the needs of working musicians. Bravo, bravo bravo… 😌

Great Musical App. This is by far one of the best or better music apps today in my book. It’s a great rehearsal and refinement tool for wood shedding. I’m finding multiple uses and situations that this app has worked for me and my band. For example, our drummer could not make it to rehearsal, so we pulled the song or the track up and removed everything except for the drums and dialed it up over the loudspeaker as we continued to rehearse. Still exploring other uses, features and potential work arounds.

best music app i could find!. i am just getting started with covers, and finding instrumental versions of songs can be difficult— especially when the song i want to find isn’t that popular enough. i use Moises almost all the time for making instrumental versions of songs, or to just hear certain instruments in the background of my songs. it’s very helpful, and even the free version has lots to offer. i recommend this app! ^_^

Have to learn new music every week?. New music can be a challenge. Being able to slow it down to a learning speed and speed it up as you get the notes under your fingers is really helpful. That’s available on other apps I know, but you can also tone down the other instruments so that you can hear your part better. You can Put the song on repeat, and I know there are other massive qualities about this app which I have not explored. Anyway this is my go to for learning new music every week.

ITS GOOD AND PRETTY MUCH FREE?!. It’s so good. Like I’m serious. Ok.. it may not be PERFECT. But it’s Amazing. You can listen to music offline (no internet) and online! And I didn’t even have to pay a single penny! If you know what your doing then it’s perfect. Especially if you love listening to music somewhere outside of your own home! You can change some of the audio settings like the bass or drums in the audio! Example is that you can change the pitch of the music and voice! 5 stars I love it!!! Definitely recommend!

Game Changer. Professional Drummer based in the US. I get asked to play a lot of different gigs with Artists who send me their original material. Some easy to chart , some not so easy to chart. For the ones that are not so easy to chart; this app has helped change everything for me. From tempo changes to instrument isolation. I wish I had something just like this app 20 years. Also, for teaching drums. This allows me to help my students understand what is going on within a song and it’s structure (as well as the individual drum parts) thus, helping them to open their ears and audible pallet to parts in the music that they otherwise might have taken years to figure out how to listen for. Not to mention, it allows for amazing recording of their drum parts in the teaching studio when documenting their progress with learning “songs” or “pieces” that they want to learn and improve their playing on. New to the Moises app. So far, I’m very impressed with this app. I’ve only tried the free version so far, but have watched multiple review videos and have jammed along and tried the available functions. On the lyric side, was wondering if you would consider upgrading future versions to include chord pro formatting? I literally have hundreds of songs as a gigging musician in chord pro format and would love to be able to copy them directly into Moises and include chords over the lyric lines as per chord pro format. i’m also a producer and recording studio engineer, so am looking forward to adding Moises tools to my collection.

Game Changer!. Incredible app! As a producer, having the ability to separate in to stems is a game changer. All the lost original music files I no longer have due to one reason or another, I am now able to take the stereo mix of those songs, and create a few stems, instrumentals, and acapellas. Though not perfect, the processed audio is still high quality. This app is quick and user friendly in the mobile version. It’s just as good in the desktop/web version. Only one flaw that I’ve experienced. When searching for a song in my iTunes library, it won’t bring up the song that I entered into the search window. I have to actually scroll through my entire library list until I reach that particular song. That’s the only reason that I didn’t give the app 5⭐️Stars. Other than that, it’s superb! Ps: if they ever advance to the point that we can separate all instruments in a drum track, into individual stems, I’m going to loose my mind!

Really wanted to give it 5 stars!. But it feels like a steal to pay for a premium account when all I want is to remove the music … I am not a musician, I am not a singer; all I want to do is to remove the music since it is haram in Islam, and this app is perfect for doing so! I can use the vocals in other media without guilt (it’s a religious thing.) Perhaps if there was an option to increase the max number of tracks per month (maybe 15 instead of 5) via a one-time fee? I’d pay! Otherwise, the app is excellent, the music removal quality works wonderfully, I am very satisfied (and blown away, really.)

Incredible app!. Mind-boggling that you can take any song in your library and isolate the drum track, the bass track, the vocals, and the rest of the band, and let you turn up or turn down any of those tracks separately!!! Great for musicians that need a backing track for their instrument or trying to learn their part. For example, if you’re a drummer, you want to learn drum part, you can isolate the drum track and listen to it, then you can take away the drum track and play along with the band.

Allows me to perform live again. As a musician who’s written 7 albums, I can now breathe new life into my own career just by having a tool that makes my songs into Karaoke Tracks?! Yea… I basically now that I’ve think about it. Bc I’m remixing them using the BOSS RC 505 looping station & performing live once again! So I love it. Just now I believe I also figured out a way to get static out of my old improv comedy rock band?!? Which is unbelievable GOLDEN Treasures that I have been waiting for app & this moment I knew one day would arrive! Mind Blown

An indispensable musician’s tool. I’m a drummer who works hard to learn songs. Isolating drum tracks is a must for me. In the past I used the Amazing Slow Downer, but over time the developer did not advance it. Once I couldn’t link it to Apple Music, I drifted away from it, and then came Moises. It is a game changer for me. It is nimble and has great features—clean, crisp isolated tracks that you can control by BPM, section options, key changes, metronome, lyrics, etc. There’s a count in option but it can be off sometimes with certain sings. Highly recommended!

This app is actually amazing. This is literally the best app for music separation, or even just if I hear an audio that I like, I can put it into here and loop it! Especially if I wanted to, for example, hear the drums more, and have a little less of guitar, I can do that! Although, I would like it if we could upload our own little album icon, because it does get a little repetitive seeing the same little logo, but still, it doesn’t take away from this app at all!

Wow. This is my first app review in 8 years of having apple products. As a drummer my biggest issue is finding drum less tracks to play over. I found this app through a video and thought it was too good to be true but I tried it out anyways. this is literally a godsend. been messing around with it for the last 10 min. the part that really seals the deal is the “Paste URL” feature - because if you use apple music technically the songs aren’t really downloaded on your phone, so being able to paste a URL changes the game. Whoever created this there is a special place in heaven for U.

Mid but mostly good :)). This app is really good but just 1 problem... So, when i first got this app, i kept searching for Devil Town ft. CaveTown but it wasn't there, i looked for other songs and not 1 song was there when i searched it, it took a while for me to find out how to put a song in the app, so I would love to know if you could maybe add like, if you search for a song it will just pop up and you don't have to search it on another app and copy and paste it here in order to put the song in. Anyways goodmorning/goodnight/goodafternoon everyone <3

Great app!!!!. I play bass a lot at home and for some songs, I can’t seem to hear what the bass is doing. With this app, after scanning a song, you can literally mix the song the way you want. You can even slow it down, change keys, and pan volumes too! If you are worried about the quality of how good it separates the song into different instruments just know that I put songs I knew very well and it did an amazing job at keeping drums together, bass in its own group and other instruments separate. Great app, easy to use, very helpful for musicians.

I practice with it for hours a day. OMG I love this app so much. I use it singing and drumming. I’ll strip away all but the instrument in practicing to learn it, then strip out my instrument and bring the others back for a play-along. It’s count-in isn’t perfect, but the most accurate I’ve found. I even used this to create a vocal-free track that I turned into a karaoke video in Final Cut. My requests would be: 1. An iPad resolution version of the app. 2. Shorter trim options. Sometimes I need to run one bar over and over. Maybe an option to pause between repeats.

Pure quality!. I’ve tried a lot of different websites and apps, but literally nothing has given me the quality that this one does. When trying to get instrumentals, I would always still hear the hint of the vocals no matter what or where I tried. This is the first app that I’ve ever used that gives you CLEAR instrumentals. It doesn’t work well with everyone song I’ve tried, but the majority have come out great. I rarely leave reviews, but I couldn’t recommend this app enough.

"GREAT Freaking App". This app is great. It does exactly what it says it does which is make every instrument and vocals played in a song, and put it in it's own seperate track. What's even cooler is how you can change volume for each instrument as you play the song, you can even mute out and instrument or vocal completely while still playing the song. Let's say you want to hear a song that yiu like but without the vocals, this app does that for you. It does it pretty well for just being an app. Like I said in the the title, it's a Freaking GREAT App!!!

Mind = blown. I rarely write reviews, so the fact that I am taking time to write this should say enough on its own. When I first downloaded the app I had a level of skepticism, I figured I would give it a try with some songs that I personally recorded of my band several years ago and mixed myself. When I could isolate and remove each instrument individually and the vocals, The people around me look like they want me to shut up because I keep talking about how amazing this app is! I’ve never seen anything like it so perfect! 10/10

Other reviews were right. I downloaded this app to see If I could learn songs that just recently came out or aren’t covered by others yet. In this app’s description it says that I can access songs from my Apple library or stored songs on my phone. However, when I tried to, it directed me to the ITunes Store to buy the song even though I had it downloaded. In fact there is no option to access downloaded songs or Apple Music songs except for ITunes. So, even though I pay for Apple Music, have the specific song downloaded, and have the most recent update for the app, I can’t use my songs. Unless this can be fixed there really is no point paying for this app

Game changer. A client of mine introduced me to Moises just as I was starting out with drumming. Moises has been a game changer for me. Leaning to play along with my favorite songs is so much easier than just doing the technical homework from my lessons. BUT: I hit a roadblock. Moises doesn’t support Apple’s LossLess Audio Codec. A majority of Apple’s library now uses this format. Moises can only process those songs that aren’t encoded with ALAC. Can you suggest a workaround? Like others, I don’t want to pay for the same songs twice. Thanks.
