A little big brother but decent discount. I did not download this app because I wanted to but because my insurance would give me a substantial discount if I made the grade. It has been easy for me. I am a relatively careful driver. I have indeed received the discount. 26% off of $250 a month isn’t bad. Supposedly I can get a higher discount as time goes on. I’m not sure how high it goes. It has been interesting to see my driving patterns. There are a couple of annoying things about the program, but I won’t go into them here. They’re not huge.

Great feedback. I have enjoyed getting the feedback on my driving. Sometimes though it would be nice to have a chance to provide feedback on items that appear; sometimes I get calls while driving which are hand free and done with controls on the steering wheel so they are not actually distractions.

Thumbs up. This app is superior to other driving apps as it allows to correctly describe your driving pattern by giving more options to select from. I believe this more accurately qualifies one’s driving performance. Thank you.

Very easy and intuitive app.. I’m an insurance broker and can say I like Nationwide’s SmartRide program better than all the others. No surcharge, only benefits. And it’s not that strict. I drive pretty much the same as usual. Just don’t drive like a maniac and you’ll be ok.

Easy to use. The app is very easy to use. At first I had to learn how to use it but after a day or two it was just like 2nd nature to me. App really saves you money on your nationwide car insurance. I’m currently sitting at a 29% discount currently. The highest savings is 30%. So far I can’t complain about the app at all.

Inaccurate Idle Time - Not Registering All Stops. The app does not seem to recognize when you have stopped in or off of the highway. On two trips I made multiple stops with neither showing up as a location where I was at an idle time very high on both of those trips. With idle times being one of the factors that affect your rate they need to get this fixed.

Stephen Kapp. The program makes you aware of how much you travel needlessly and you make hold off on things you don’t need and make a list to get them later. Saves on gas consumption, makes you aware that needless travel can be cut out. Hopefully in the end it will also help get a nice discount on my bill.

Smart Drive Rating. I like the smart drive so because it quick view of how my driving after each trip. I like the tips it gives on how to improve my driving,

Smart ride. Easy to use. I just forget to turn off the app when I’m with my wife and it appears to duplicate the trips Also if she is the passenger and uses her phone it automatically adds distractions on her app

Records screen tapping when there is none. The app works well most of the time. The most annoying thing though is that if I have Google maps running, it always records screen tapping even though I don’t touch it during the drive. I leave it open and where I can see the direction but don’t touch the phone. It’s frustrating to have it record something so incorrectly.

Works ok with one major issue. This of course, tracks your driving to get a discount on your insurance. The major issue is since it uses your phone, it’s tracking you even when it’s not you driving. This totally screws up your real usage of your car. Unless you want to leave your phone at home when not driving yourself the app thinks your the person doing the transport. So, if the person driving is an asshat coworker you get tagged by their poor driving. There needs to be a button to turn off the app or edit when it was you or someone else driving.

Requires too much babysitting. If I wasn’t married, never used public transportation, or never went out with friends the app might be OK. You have to constantly review the info the app collects to edit it. After using it to collect enough information to get my first discount I decided the hassle for $20/month wasn’t worth it. The app itself was OK. It never crashed on me. It was easy to edit the information. Again, it just wasn’t worth the hassle.

Not quite perfect. I pulled off the road and parked the car so that I could make a handheld call legally and safely. The app flagged it anyway. It’s a good thing that NationWide doesn’t penalize for phone distractions yet, because it failed to detect that the car was not in motion during the call. This is at odds with its ability to detect hard braking, which I believe to be accurate and fair based on the couple of times I’ve been flagged for that.

Fun, easy to use and who doesn’t like saving money!. What a great app - I’m saving money and learning how to be a better driver! Insanely accurate, very easy to navigate, and the registration process was smooth! I need not hit the brakes so hard but hey it’s a work in progress. I also like that I can go back and review my trips. 5 out of 5 for sure - highly recommend!

Review for service. I am new to area where I’m living & sometimes in order to get route I have to touch phone if light is blaring the screen or if phone has moved. Otherwise it all works well.

Makes me want . . . .. to be a better driver. I touch my phone a lot less to get a better score. I think it could show more characteristics, such as when and where the hard accelerations or brakings took place or when any speed limits were broken and by how much. There should be some way to designate that the phone was being moved and tapped for navigation purposes, not for texting or other unnecessary reading.

Review. The app is good; however, if I sit in my car with engine running because it cold, it documented as idle time. Most time I wait in my car for my daughter to finish practice or a game. Just like last night I had to wait for her when I leave work. I park near the turn

Works well. The app is easy to use and kind of fun. The only problem I had is that a few weeks in my discount went from 40% to 35%-retroactively to the beginning with no incidents or explanation as to why. No one could explain that to me. Otherwise I recommend it.

Great Idea for safe driving.. I love your SmartRide program. I’m always looking for ways to be an be extra careful driver. I also know things do happen and it is a percentage. I always want to raise my percentages as high as I can. No one wins in a accident. I use a lot of my semi truck schooling every day I get behind the wheel of any vehicle. It is my wish that find a ways to remind drivers that not just the driver, but the passengers are at risk also. One idea is: Observe how drivers use their turn signals incorrectly! I see 85 to 90%!!! Many passengers are at risk because of this action. Teach proper turn signals use. If a vehicle driver would observe, recognize, and use their turn signals like a School Bus Driver, our roads will be much safer.

None Complaint. This app no longer works on my iPhone. I’ve tried everything but it doesn’t preform anymore. What are my options. Did a reboot, worked great. Definitely keeps you on your toes. Great reminder for not answering your phone while driving. Really enjoyed it.

Smart ride discount program. I like the fact you can maneuver vehicle and not be hit with a trip or a night ride unlike progressive discount. Same as working on vehicle, each start up doesn’t count as a trip like their program.

Registers calls made through CarPlay as distractions. Overall the app is okay. The fact that you have to indicate when you aren’t driving in modes of transpiration that are clearly not driving like planes, trains, etc. is not ideal. The most frustrating component so far, however, is that it appears to register interactions with a phone through the handsfree apple CarPlay features like using voice commands to make a call or get directions as ‘distractions’ where you’re interacting with the phone. That’s frustrating since it’s supposed to encourage handsfree options. Please add better compatibility with CarPlay.

What is average based off of?. Never tried a car app like this so no comparison, but it was accurate and quick. I wish it told you how it came up w the average. I don’t see why my average is as low as it is, especially when I have no night time driving, long distance driving, or quick stops.

You better monitor it on all drivers’ phones!. My wife and I had it installed and working and we drove for 5 months. I monitored it occasionally with my discount always floating between 28-30%. 30 days before renewal I see my discount drop to 14%. Guess what? My wife’s app somehow lost the permission to always use location data (maybe some security update reset that months ago), and her discount was 0%, averaging down my 28% to 14%. No warning or notification in 4 months … Congratulations Nationwide, nice job losing a customer!

WiFi. I ride as a passenger with my son all the time and turn my WiFi off and the ap is constantly asking me to turn my ap on all the time. Where I work I have my WiFi off and it’s once again always asking me to turn it on. I feel like it is my car and I feel like I should be in charge of when I’m driving having my app on and it makes me so upset that a lot of the times I forget to turn on my Wi-Fi because the app should not be in charge of me.

Nationwide is a joke and so is this App. My wife signed us up for full coverage insurance with Nationwide and we downloaded the app to be have our driving tracked and graded for the next several months. Started out paying close to $700 for six months. Using the app we would hope to receive a discount after several months of monitoring. I asked her to reach out to a few other insurance companies to compare rates. The very first reputable company she reached out to gave us a quote for $350 for six months for comprehensive for our two vehicles. I asked “is this some kind of joke? We are to have our driving scrutinized for several mos to only hope we get some sort of discount??” Needless to say, we dropped Nationwide like a hot potato and went with the other company with a better deductible and half the price. Nationwide is a joke and so is this big brotheresque App. Adios Nationwide.

Phone Distractions. I believe it is recoding a phone distraction even when pulled off to the side of the road and stopped. Also many times quick stops are due to traffic or traffic light changes. Many lights have cameras and short yellows. I am always on guard. Otherwise I think the app is a good tool. Thank you.

Wish I had been given more instructions. I do like the ap. Don’t we all like to know when we’ve done something well. A couple things I don’t understand. It’s regarding the phone and swiping it and looking at it talking on it and texting and driving which I am fully aware is against the law and I do not do that. However if you were driving and your GPS on your car it’s not picking up your directions that you need to be following and it’s necessary to reach for your phone and swipe up to see where you are I would assumed you get dinged for that? My wonder is if I am in a drive-through and I want to pay with something on my mobile app, my car is in the drive-through it is in the drive position am I dinged when I have to swipe up on my phone in order to check out via scan? In other words if the car is in drive and you are stopped does it have the same monitoring as if your car is in drive and you were actually moving? Also is there any documentation or instructions that I have access to in order to fully understand the rules of your monitoring?

Review. I really drive much anymore and being with this company I’m not penalized for that. Also, y’all helped me when my caregiver stolen my diamond pendant. The only thing that I wasn’t happy with, is my pendant was worth over $6,000. Y’all sent me $1,000. I’m grateful truly I am. And I know that’s not how it works. And for that I’m truly grateful.

Amazing!. I was always skeptical about car insurance companies tracking my every move. But it’s not like that. I was worried being a passenger would count against me but nationwide has the best app ever they recognize whether you’re driving or not I’ve saved 24% on my policy. I would highly suggest to anyone to use the smart drive app. And besides this app, Nationwide has the best agents ever. Last time I called the lady was so sweet. She spent over an hour going over the details of my policy with me and was able to add even more benefits to my policy I was unaware of. I’ve had several other major insurance carriers, NATIONWIDE really is the best. Thank you Nationwide for recognizing the drivers in the world that are accident and ticket free.

The app works but has flaws.. The app works fine but has flaws. If you drive your own vehicle at all times, you will be fine but if you are like me that I am frequently a passenger, the app does not recognize that. If the driver brakes hard, you use your phone (while being a passenger) it will show on you record. So you better tell the driver to drive carefully and do not use your phone as passenger as the app will take that as a distraction.

App Isn’t Accurate or Fair. The app indicates that idle time is more of an opportune time to be involved in an accident. When everyone else around you is stuck in the same situation as you; whether it be a backup at a red light or in the school pickup line. Either way the rate of speed is much less and the probability of an accident is much lower; especially one causing major damage or bodily injury. I believe idle time being a factor in deciding the discount is inaccurate and unfair.

Phone Disturbance??. If your waiting In line at drug store in the drive through and you play a game on your phone while waiting. That shouldn’t be a disturbance. I’m not driving and on my phone. Or in the drive through picking up a Pizza. It should only show. If your on your phone when the car is moving. Don’t you think so ????

Worth It. Very user-friendly. Easy to label trips where you are not the driver. Nice to be able to track discount weekly and see your driving metrics, including phone distractions even though they don’t impact the discount.

Retired. This app is helping me to become a better driver. I also like the fact that phone distractions are noted but not a part of the premium discount program. I only touch my phone when absolutely necessary for Navigation etc.

Idle time. If you are parked waiting for your kid to get out of school, or just waiting in you car for whatever reason it counts as idle time. It records as if you were stopped in congestion or heavy traffic which then drives down your discount. So turn your car off and then turn it back on. It also tracks your location which seems a bit intrusive to me.

Doesn’t Like VPN. This app is actually pretty decent if we must resign ourselves to having our location and driving habits tracked. I’ve had some minor issues with what it recorded, but it’s generally ok. My issue is that it doesn’t work with my VPN (Nord). It captures GPS trip data, but the app won’t calculate a score with the VPN active. So I can’t get final trip scores unless I manually disable the VPN for 30-60 minutes.

I really appreciate this App! It helps make me a better driver!. I was a little apprehensive at first hearing that it would somehow invade my privacy. On the contrary, it has helped me to be much more mindful of how I drive. I am more careful about distractions. I use my cruise control to keep my speed within the limit wherever I’m driving and on the humorous side, there is a friendly competition between my husband and myself, as to which one of us is the safer driver! In all seriousness, this is a very useful tool to help me be a safer driver, and the discount is definitely a plus!

Teaches Unsafe Driving Habits. For safety when merging onto the expressway one necessarily is required to accelerate in order to match the flow of traffic. But when you speed up in such a scenario you’re penalized by the app. Likewise, when taking off from a green traffic light with the organic flow of traffic, you are dinged by the app. To avoid negative app admonishments, you’re basically forced to drive contrary to driving norms by unnaturally and dangerously going slow on entering the expressway as well as a ambling through intersections on green to the chagrin of fellow motorists. With the uncertainty of violent reactive road rage due to annoying other drivers, I wonder if the small discount offered is potentially worth the loss of my life?

TERRIBLE. This app doesn’t know IF YOU ARE A PASSENGER in someone else’s car. Like how ridiculous is that? In order to “make the app know this” you have to toggle it EVERY TIME you get in someone else’s car. Then when I called Nationwide and and said just send me a plug-in transponder they weren’t going to do it because “the app works on my phone.” That’s not the point! I basically argued with the customer service lady and had to threaten to pull my insurance, which I have no problem doing since I will probably get a lower rate somewhere else, if they didn’t. I have been a loyal Nationwide customer for decades. Since I was 16. I’m now 43 years old. I also have my pet insurance through them with two dogs on it. I pay an arm & a leg for it. Honestly very disappointing. They did end up sending me one but should not have to argue to get it.

Limitations. App is ok. Can’t register when certain games are playing in background. Also, a LOT of manual adjusting for times when I’m a passenger or driving company truck so miles, hard braking, and phone use don’t count. Also, no way to distinguish when a passenger is using the phone for directions. Can’t break a trip in half for driving/passenger when switching cars, either. Probably doing what it’s intended to do, but registers a lot of things incorrectly also if you don’t figure out how to manually fix it.

Saving money on car insurance. It’s kind of strange having my mileage monitored. I think my driving record should be taken into consideration. I’m still shopping for a cheaper insurance. I haven’t driven 600 miles in the past year. My premium needs to be reduced further. The rates might have a lot to do with paying high commission to an agent. Just another hand in my pocket.

Surprisingly Good App. Before using the app I would have guessed this would be a 1-2 star rating but the app is very well designed. I’m not the biggest fan of the scoring parameters but I recognize that the insurance statistics nerds come up with those models so I can’t complain. You have to relax and understand that no system like this can work perfectly but that given enough time any anomalies will be drowned out in the sheer volume of data. It looks great for an insurance company app and it works exactly as advertised. Good job app team 👍🏻

Easy to use app. Turn it on in and let it run in the background! Interesting to see how many miles have been driven vs. how much idle time is spent in the car in traffic. Tracking hard braking events also flags that you may be too close to the cars in front of you, too often. One drawback there - the app doesn’t date the hard braking events to help jog your memory of the incident. Also, because it runs in the background, the status needs to be updated when you shift from driver to passenger, or use another mode of transportation. Although it’s an easy change to make, a notification/reminder to review driving status at the end of a day or week would be helpful. Especially for those who both ride-share and drive.

Good app. Seems accurate.. Good app seems accurate. The one thing I would request is an option to go on standby for 5 days. The options are 3 or 7 now. I drive a company vehicle Monday through Friday. I only drive my personal vehicle on the weekend. So I have to either go on standby twice during the week, or remember to turn it off on Friday evening.

Direction/less. I am a newcomer to Texas. I depend on the phone up to find my way. I write directions previous to my trip but sometimes the place I go requires me to go to an alternative location on the fly and it is inconvenient to try using my phone’s app since the phone is locked by the Nationwide’s app. I wonder if there is a way to include the two apps to allow me to have a peaceful errand without the anxiety of trying to find my way.

Works well. This app works better than I expected. I had no issues. Anytime my phone connects to my car Bluetooth, it knows I’m driving and when it’s not, it knows I’m in someone else’s car riding. Really easy!

SmartRide review for Kevin. This is the first time I’ve used the SmartRide app and it’s working well. The only problem is the hard braking fault is a little too touchy. I got one on the ramp for 70 at Lover exit when a truck pulled back into to slow lane and I took my foot off the gas and slowed down and one stopping at little Joeys. It didn’t seem like I did anything to get the hard braking fault. But it’s been pretty good besides that.

SmartRide app is mostly easy to use. The SmartRide app is pretty intuitive. The one change that needs to be made is to “save” not “cancel” when you’ve identified whether you were the driver or passenger. And it’s not clear if you need to do anything if you were the driver and it’s already marked that way.

Terrible. Honestly I participated in this same program with another company and never had so many issues with that app as I do with the nationwide one. This app never accounts to my train rides. Daily I take the train to work and I have to manually adjust the ride since the app can’t seem to figure out that I’m not driving. Another issue you are forced to have all drivers listed on the policy included in the app even if they don’t drive your car or even drive at all. When my husband and I are in the same car the app doesn’t even recognize that either. Instead of listing one of us as a passenger, instead the app tracks as both of us are driving which is impossible. Again you have to manually update that ride as well. They make it extremely hard to get a discount due to app issues like this. I’m not going to track all my rides and manually change every ride the app mistakes. Just not worth it for me. There are better motion tracking apps out there so nationwide can do better.

Good app. This is a good app if I see a monthly reduction in my insurance after a surprising increase. My wife has the app as well but doesn’t like all the notifications. I will look for a method to turn off the notifications.

Easy to read. Just set and forget. I like how you are able to view your stats at any given moment. But remember to state you are a passenger when needed.

No way to turn on location after iOS update. This app worked great until I updated to iOS 16.4.1. The app doesn’t seem to update to enable location services. I tried contacting app support but haven’t received any help. I’ve been notified that I’ll lose my discount if I don’t turn on location services, but…there’s no way to turn it on!

It’s easy to earn a discount. This could not be easier. You just get in the car with your phone and you drive and Nationwide gives you a discount!

Idle time. The app works fairly well. My big complaint is tracking idle time. The app claims it indicates you are in heavy traffic which can lead to more accidents. I have had idle time added while at the atm and waiting at train tracks. Neither incident had anything to do with heavy traffic

Working great. So far no problems with app. Like that you can change from driver to passenger when I am a passenger and not driving. Don’t know how it does it but it knows when I am riding my bicycle.

Very interesting stats. I love to check the stats. I never realized how often I am answering calls while driving. This makes me more aware.

Lack of functionality. Before iOS update was perfect working. After iOS 15 the functionality doesn’t work properly and I tried email support but haven’t hear anything back. That need to fix the issues.

Useful information and a discount. I like being able to have a log of my travels and any issues with my driving. I think I am getting to be much more attentive and aware of my driving practices.

Driving Score. I do not understand why my rating dropped from 40% to 29% just from having ONE fast acceleration to avoid an accident. And then every day thereafter haven’t had one bad day nor anything which would have a negative impact on my score. So why does my discount remain unchanged?

New User. Extremely easy to use. Keeps our young drivers talking about their driving and how well they are trying to drive safely.

Doesn’t work. I signed up for smart ride. I got the adapters in the mail. Plugged them in and checked the website. All good. I can see it’s working fine and it’s been a couple weeks. But this stupid app won’t let me register. When I go to “activate” it keeps saying “the phone number you enters doesn’t match our records.” News flash: it’s the same phone number on my account that I’ve had for many years. Anyways the app is unusable to me.

Driving app. We’ve enjoyed using the app. It really seems to have slowed us down and it has been a reminder to be more cautious.

Good. The information it collects is quite accurate, good to remind us to just drive and no texting while driving.

Dashboard. I really like the look and feel of the dashboard. The color coding makes it easy for me to understand how I track in each category. The calendar feature is really nice as well.

Details. I love the deatils it give- The information on your drive and the ability to change the settings.

Great app for driving awareness. So far the SmartRide app has been great. It has real brought awareness to my driving and helped me start making changes. I use hands free on my cell much more and I realize how much I used to hard brake.

Yup. After driving professionally for 12 years, I’ve always consider myself a safe and cautious driver. Having this app on my phone for the last two months, assures me that I am still a safe and courteous driver.

Phone Distractions. Occasionally I need to pick up my phone while driving. Even though I have pulled over into a parking lot and parked before picking up my phone; it still counted as a phone distraction. Why does that count?

Good app. This has not only made me more aware of speed limits it’s helped me save gas and to enjoy driving places because I’m not on a time frame to get there fast

I like the app.. So many uses. I have it to save on my insurance, but also enjoy it for keeping track of my mileage. Easy to use. Need a phone to get the application.

Thoughtful. Even if you are already a safe driver this app makes you more aware of things you already know and practice

Terrible app if you want a discount. This app punishes you and lowers your discount if you drive your vehicle but also if you don’t. My discount went from 31% to 21% so I stopped driving as much and my discount got even lower to 12%. They don’t make it very clear how your discount is calculated. If you don’t drive, your discount goes down. If you drive your discount goes down. And I’m pretty sure my “idle time” is being counted as me sitting in a parking lot in my car. This app does not reward your safe driving.

Battery drain and data snatcher. Aside from the fact that this app drains your battery because it has to be constantly connected , there is absolutely no reason for this to know where you are at times down to the inch of your location. There’s no reason an app for car insurance needs to know where I’m having dinner or if I stopped for coffee (when I’m NOT the one driving). I have asked repeatedly for 4 months for something that goes into the car NOT attached to me. They kept saying no. That is until today when surprisingly I CAN get a device for the car BUT I have to start this whole thing all over again. Smartride is a shady company. Nationwide is great

Stay safe. I’m enjoying being able to see my driving score after every trip. It’s made me much more aware of avoiding distractions while I’m driving.

Consistent and not power hungry. Although this runs in the background all the time, seems to be nicely consistent and not too power hungry. Nice job.

Fine but don’t understand discount. App works fine but I’m green and very low to zero on all of the measurements but I only got a 15% discount which is very low. Like how do you get a significant discount? I’m nearly perfect driver according to these measurements

Nationwide Driver Assist / Discount APP. This APP will assist / remind you of good/bad driving habits. It may help you reduce insurance premiums if you’re willing to accept constructive guidance. Highly recommended if you’re of mindset to accept constructive advice and reducing your premium.

Enjoy. I enjoy seeing where I need to improve week to week or where I did improve week to week. It brings attention to how much idle time I have too

Great app. Great app. Easy to use. The only thing that bothers me is idle time. Like today, it’s 80 plus degrees, we are in a parking lot with the AC on waiting to go in for a doctors appointment with our phones on. Looks like that is idle time that counts against you.

Extremely easy and worth it. This app is very easy to set up and if you drive well you get rewarded just like they tell you. It’s a no-brainer.

Great App. Pretty accurate, tracks movement and shows map. Be careful if passengers uses phone it catches that as you until you tell it otherwise. But it’s a easy fix.

New kind of app for me (and that’s a good thing). This app is easy to use and now there’s finally an app to help me save money! Knowing the app is recording my driving, I may even be a little more careful when im driving.

Driving skills app. This interesting application. I have never used one to rate my driving skills or give me discount for my car insurance. Still waiting to see what discount I get on my car insurance. It’s takes 3 moths to get score. I’m almost near the end.

Good app but has some flaws. I like the app, but it doesn't register when I'm in a different vehicle as a passenger so it added miles and hard braking when I wasn't in my car or driving. Other than that, it's fine.

Awesome. The app is great and gives a ton of helpful information to assist you in getting your best score possible. Very easy to use and relatively frequent pending discount updates.

Great app. I love this app compared to the AllState app. It works much better. For example, if you go through a drive thru or run in to a store and need to use your phone, this app know whereas the Allstate app does not, it dings you for phone usage.

Don’t trust nationwide nor this fares. They’re very coy about saying how this will save you money should you arrive at a discount once you complete the requirements. I just got my policy renewal, as it turns out, this app did absolutely nothing. Had me locked in at 28% discount with no accidents, tickets or other issues. My renewal came in at a 22% increase. So disappointed. Don’t get scammed like I did. Should’ve stayed with USAA.

Smart Ride App Review. I enjoy the ease and simplicity of having the information on my phone. It also helps to know that I can always do better.

Convenient and easy to use app. The app is very convenient and easy to use as I’m not technical at all but it was extremely self explanatory to use this app at my convenience.

False advertisement. I was already a nationwide customer and was told I would get 10% off my premium just for signing up for the app and then up to 40% off my premium based on driving habits. These percentages are not off your total premium but only off of certain coverages within your premium the highest savings would only be potentially less than a dollar. no thanks

Saving money by drive smart. I like that we can watch our progress and keep track of our travels. Helps us know how we are doing.

SmartRide. We started using SmartRide about 2 weeks ago initially to help reduce our premiums. We immediately found that it helped remind us safe driving habits don’t need to interfere with travel.

Nationwide Smart ride app. This app makes it simple to track your driving style. Very helpful that you can mark yourself as the passenger when you are not the driver.

Discount calculation seems a little, well, off. I work from home and maybe drive 50 miles a week just running errands. Gat a notification that my driving habits are better than 10% of the users, yet my discount % went down from 26-25%. Not sure how anyone ever gets the “up to” 40% discount. Very misleading.

Pretty good. I think the app does a pretty good job of analyzing my driving but sometimes makes mistakes. It dinged me twice in one trip for hard breaking when I know I did not hard break even once. Mileage driven can be a bit off sometimes too.

Easy. This app is very easy to use and I won’t know until November if they give me the discount that they promised the star might change If they don’t

SmartRide. I really really like this app as long as it keeps working since they got it fixed it’s been great thank you appreciate it very much and the discounts are really great and helpful every 6months

It’s a scam. I’ve been using this for 3 months. It started off at 20 percent then very, very slowly went up to 33 percent. I’ve had no hard braking, fast acceleration, or nighttime driving. In 3 months I drove 630 miles (I don’t drive often). Even though I’m at 33 percent I opened the app today and it says my policy discount is 10 percent. It makes no sense . They aren’t willing to give out the 40 percent I deserve as a perfect driver.

Helpful Application. Great way to better manage our insurance rates and understanding the impact of our driving habits. Easy to use and appears to reflect our drive experience.
