Worthless. I was happy to see something advertised as an “unbiased news site”. Unfortunately, when I tried to view articles online, I consistently got the “bad gateway” error message. So I downloaded the app, and now I get a “we couldn’t load the latest stories” error message. So much for trying to use this site. Let me know when you get your act together and maybe I’ll try again.

Definitely Biased. I got a notification today praising the president’s accomplishments in office and saying plenty of things blaming republicans. I was hoping to find a news app that wouldn’t point one way or the other because I just wanted some straight forward news that wasn’t trying to push a narrative. For someone like myself who is very in the middle or moderate on their political views, this is pretty frustrating. That was the entire reason I downloaded this app, because I was tired of the biased news. I’m also disgusted by the way the most recent article about the Moscow Idaho case. They released gruesome details that were unsourced and unconfirmed involving the deaths of those students. It is so wrong of them to do this when the families probably don’t even know that information yet. That was the first I’ve seen them do that, and that’s pretty disappointing.

Glad to see Cuomo back reporting news. Started watching News Nation because I heard Chris Cuomo is on here. So glad I did. I don’t blame someone because he did something that anyone would do for their family. Will be watching daily.

Say No To Cuomo. This guy is a joke and should never have been given another audience. I’m shocked NN hired this arrogant partisan. And, no one likes the fact the video or photo ledes are persistent and we’re left with half a page to read the text. I was hoping this update would fix this. There are enough comments on this feature that I would think your developers would fix it

One Stagnant News App. If you’re looking for breaking news, don’t come here. It probably averages less than 10 new articles per day. The same articles are featured for days, sometimes over a week. Redundant might be an apt description. And some stories they hang onto for what seems like forever. So, if you’re looking for comprehensive news coverage, this ain’t the place.

Social security. Can I get some feedback and possibly a story about what really happened to the social security program after it was implemented up to this date,and the changes made in the 60 s I have been a big fan of the evening shows since you started

Outdated Style, No Opt-out for Autoplay Videos. I watch NewsNation on a daily basis, but I expected a bit more from their app. It is clunky, ad-heavy, and forces video playback when you simply want to read an article. There is no option to remove automatic video playback, and it covers half the screen as you try to read an article. Also, in the TV provider section, there is no option for streaming or satellite providers (e.g., YouTubeTV, Dish, Directv). However, they list every no-name cable provider you’d ever think of. I don’t understand that one at all. Why ignore all of us who watch you on streaming or satellite platforms? (I imagine that is the majority of your viewership!) If they want to gain users, the app must be more streamlined, user friendly, and look more like their TV channel - and less like an outdated local news channel app, which I am guessing is what Nexstar used as their basis for this app.

Fantastic app, except for 1 thing.. Compared to other news organizations and apps, NewsNation and NewsNation Now are fantastic for getting information as unbiased as possible. Once the iPad version was updated, the app keeps crashing whenever I try to connect my cable/satellite provider.

Refreshing news. I can finally get some unbiased news and it’s so refreshing, the news is presented without some anchor chiming in their opinion about the story. They seem to present both sides so it's fair. I believe that I can watch or read the news without wanting to get angry from all the opinionated bias comments. Thank you Newsnation!

Off to a great start!. Been using the App and listening to its content for about a month now and couldn’t be happier. The push notifications are also perfect too. Not too much, just the right amount. Great job

Love only news source I use. I love love love it. I wanted to find an apolitical news source since I don’t know much about politics and I want just the facts with a little analysis and this is perfect. The only reason I’m rating 4 stars is because I would love it even more if there was some kind of tab or pin option. Sometimes I find articles or shows I don’t have time to look at in the current moment and would love to be able to have a “save for later” option. Amazing news source!

Love Cuomo!. I see a lot of hate here for Cuomo, but I’m gonna be the odd one out and say I’m so glad to watch him again. His style is refreshing and definitely non-biased. He jabs at the left almost as much as the right. He makes a point to push for more parties and talks about how toxic our two party system (in practical terms) is. People make mistakes in life and he shouldn’t be banned from his decades long profession over an incident he’s apologized for on numerous occasions. He’s a good journalist and has great insights. I’m still discovering other anchors in the network and was surprised to see some other familiar faces. Looking forward to this network doing good things!

No Longer About Facts. What started out as a refreshing, down the middle news source, has slowly leaned to the left. They aren’t in the yellow rag group with CNN, but also no longer a fact first source. I deleted the app and will go back to finding a reliable fact driven news source. Maybe someday they will get back on track, but most in this industry don’t. I gave 2 stars for the app being reliable both in text and video streaming.

Very difficult to wade through to the actual news. Well, I wanted something that was concise, informative, to the point, and unbiased. This app fails, primarily because the pix and videos - including the ads - take over my entire screen and finding articles to actually READ is a pain when I have to spend so much time manipulating what is blasted at me. Maybe it is unbiased … maybe it does have actual news. Don’t know. I spent one morning with it and decided that my time is better spent wading through the garbage on other news sites. That’s sad.

FINALLY. A major cable news outlet that actually makes an earnest effort to cut down the middle and present news and opinion from both sides of the US political spectrum. Very refreshing and the timing is impeccable in such a politically divided country. Looking forward to this channel growing in popularity!

Excited about this new straight news network...but the app. I want to put my full support behind News Nation! Our country is sorely lacking a ‘straight news’ service vs the screaming heads at the other three ‘24 hour opinion/entertainment’ channels. My issue is that this app is locked in ‘portrait’ view and doesn’t rotate to ‘landscape’ view on my iPad. When they fix that, score will improve. Good luck News Nation, we need you now more than ever!

Few seem to cater to iPad landscape mode. I love the app. It would be nice if I didn't have to keep turning my iPad to view the main pages, though. It would be better if you provided a landscape version or, at least, unlock the portrait so it can rotate and be viewed in landscape.

Landscape mode missing. My only complaint is that I can’t hold my iPad in horizontal/landscape position. My case for the iPad only accommodates landscape mode. So I’m forced to hold it vertically (by hand) which is a pain. When will that ability be available, if at all? Otherwise I like the app.

To tell the truth. Great app! Sadly there are some conspiracy theorists who are calling you out for biased reporting. The truth is the truth and I’m so happy that you are reporting facts, not fractured fairytales. It’s more important now than ever before. Some people can’t handle the truth.

Love Chris Cuomo. Great having Chris back on the air. He pushes both sides (right and left) regardless of his mistakes (we’ve all made some) he’s great at what he does. Best wishes to him and the news nation family! I will be a faithful viewer.

Loved the content but app is a dumpster fire. Barely able to read stories on up to date iPad. Click on a story and in landscape you get a 3.5 inch blue logo banner and 0.5 inch of viewable text. It is only slightly better in portrait. If you’re determined to read that half inch it’s next to impossible to control the scroll as the whole thing moves. Very disappointing. I’ve stopped reading but have not deleted the app hoping there will be a fix. I’ve checked back regularly for several months and nothing has changed. I hope somebody figures it out.

Jumped the Shark. Since Chris Cuomo is actually the poster child for bias (literally conspiring with politicians including his brother) by holding fake interviews where the subject of interview and Cuomo wrote discussed line by line how the interviews would go and how to spin it in a positive way (always towards a left leaning bias btw). If that’s your definition of unbiased that’s pretty sad. I was in for awhile, even though there isn’t a comment section to give personal thoughts on news stories. Well then the org hired Chris Cuomo who literally was fired for his bias towards others in preference to his brother! There such a thing as recusal in law and journalism. If your core statement is “unbiased” and you hire a full fledged partisan (father and brother were both staunch democrats) who isn’t the least bit unbiased, and who doesn’t even PRETEND to be unbiased, well sorry, that doesn’t work. Deleted the app.

Great news network. I'm trying to watch you guys live in the app for iPhone, but you guys don't have fuboTV Listed as one of the cable providers so that way I can connect to my cable provider and watch you guys in the app on the go.

1 Dead, 2 Killed article. So I open up my app this morning, Sunday, 8 January to find an article titled “1 Dead, 2 Killed in Hollywood Walk of Fame Shooting”. The title made no sense so I read the article and it turns out it’s 1 dead and 2 injured in the story. Come on News Nation. Are you looking to be the first organization to get the story by not editing your article content? It’s 0930 est and no one has caught this? For an organization just starting out, you need to do better or people will realize you’re crap and get they’re news elsewhere. Best of luck.

Clickbait headlines, autoplay videos. Solid content, but the headlines are designed to be clickbait and nearly all stories are accompanied by videos are automatically play - which is not wanted. There is no option to prevent videos from loading, so the app is useless if you’re in a data-restricted plan or far from an area with a strong signal. Also, there’s generally little opportunity to customize the topics that interest me.

Reasonable News Finally!. Though they need better technical specialist to work out some bugs with the show, the app and the website, I’m all about NN. I’m relieved NN provides an independent non-biased view of the news. One side of the political spectrum is neither always right or always wrong - How refreshing that is. I appreciate how Dan Abrams and others dive into detail and demonstrate how irresponsible other BIG news media can be about reporting important facts without omissions. So very important, especially when one reports on Police interactions and dividing political issues. They even have Chris Cuomo behaving like an open minded journalist again ;-). Loved his thoughtful reporting on the emotionally charged topic of transgender adults who regret transitioning so young. Makes you think! Bravo New Nation- Please Keep it coming!

Well done!. This app is off to a great start and I really hope it takes off. The app itself seems to work good. I absolutely love the unbiased news!!!! Everything that I have read and listens to so far was well written in an unbiased manor. I’m very impressed. Thank you!!!!!!!

Excited for this app. I know this app and network is brand new, but it’s off to a great start. It’s easy to navigate and not buggy, and the content is straightforward and not full of sensational headlines or click-bait style articles (which is exactly what the world needs more of!) One feature I hope to see in the future is a way to customize a newsfeed. I like scrolling through headlines and topics most relevant to me in one spot vs navigating around and filtering each time I open the app. I also hope the weather section continues to expand its details so I can get rid of the terrible weather apps I otherwise have to suffer through.

Goodbye CNN. Started watching News Nation a few weeks ago and I love that the reporting is about the news, communities and no political bias. So sick of CNN Fox, MSNBC’s politics and how every story relates back either in an obliviously positive or negative way to which ever way that station leans. Deleted my CNN app and couldn’t be happier

Reading format not for iPad. Content OK. Adverts are OK. This app may work for iPhone users, but almost painful to use for the larger iPad users, who prefer to use their devices in landscape mode. Portrait mode on a 10 inch iPad requires the app be ‘zoomed’ in to fill the screen.. Your web platform is the way to go for iPad users, until app is reworked for larger horizontal screens...

Ads ads ads!. The content isn’t bad, and the effort to depoliticize the coverage definitely shows. However, the presentation is terrible. Every page is so heavily laden with ads that it’s almost impossible to follow the thread of the content. I find myself getting to the bottom of an article and having retained almost nothing. Please fix!

Live TV Option is Sketchy at Best. Maybe this is just happening to me for some reason, but I am unable to watch the Live TV option even after linking my tv provider (Frontier). After doing so, I get the message “you are not authorized to view this content.” NN is an active channel as part of my cable subscription and this happens even after removing and reinstalling the app (and delinking and relinking provider). Makes me sad. And on top of this this, the NN app for Roku does not have a Live TV option. That is also very upsetting. Too bad.

Good app, great idea!. I like the app, easy to use and navigate. What I like even more is the whole purpose of News Nation - straightforward news, no sensationalist bias from overpaid commentators, no slant one way or the other. I hope everyone else starts watching so the news returns to what it should be, just news!

Just another “news” source.. The way Brian Entin handled Gabby Petito’s search, etc was so kind and different from other media stations. I appreciated that NewsNation was, seemingly, kinder with their reporting and making sure the correct info was put out over being the first to report. Then Banfield and her “former FBI detective” friend showed up, started reporting and it’s been made very clear NewsNation is no different. The way Banfield has taken advantage of Xana’s mom (Idaho student) for the sake of a story is disgusting. The one star I have to leave is for Brian Entin. He seems to be the only one there with any integrity.

Unbiased? Not so much.. I liked News Nation Now when it launched. It was mostly unbiased, very refreshing. Today I read a Dan Abrams piece billed as a top story. It was nothing but a wildly biased opinion piece. I read that NN was suffering poor viewership. Has it decided to join the opinionated news crowd to try to compete? Just stop! Report news, not your personal views. We get that everywhere.

Thank you for striving for unbiased news. Truly unbiased news isn’t possible, but this is the best high-quality news source I’ve found that isn’t dripping with bias and one-sided opinion pieces. I’m just as offended by bias on the left as I am on the right - I just want the news and facts so that I can internalize and form my own opinion. Shouldn't we all expect this? Thank you NewsNation.

Cuomo is trash. The thing is, this might have been a little more unbiased than mainstream. Sadly, adding someone as complicit in disinformation forever sullies your reputation. If you were a mouthpiece of the far right or radical left you don’t belong in a news room. In fact, if as a consumer of news I can even guess the news anchor’s political leanings that news is no longer unbiased. Hope you got him for a bargain.

Functional and centered. I have a lot of news apps, and have always like NZ Herald for ease of use ,.. but NewsNation is just as smooth. The only confusion I had was when trying to exit a video until I realized it required clicking the ‘restore down’ brackets [ ]. Re: balanced reporting.. it’s true, although reviewers who already have a strong bias will view any story that doesn’t come with the same bias as skewed. As a career tv news producer I’ve seen this many times. The center is always hated by extremists.

Ad is 99% of the screen!. I’m not quite sure what’s wrong with the iPad version of this app but it is unusable if you actually want to read the article instead of just watching the video. It literally showed me one line at a time on a 10 inch iPad while the video took up 99% of the screen that was showing an ad and then a video. Surprisingly there’s no option to make the video size smaller.

REAL news without spin or lies!!. I’ve been looking for a news service that I could trust to REPORT the news using real FACTS, not politically biased spin or even flat out lies. WGN NEWSNATION has done just that! It provides a broad range of topics and gives details of important stories that others just gloss over, if they even cover them at all. Great app for my phone and good source for my TV viewing at home during prime time!

News Nation Now. Great App, easy to navigate and very helpful. Glad to see a Newscast that tells the news the way it should be without bias! So refreshing to see news that tells it like it is and gives both sides. You won’t be disappointed with this app!

Finally Real News on TV. I am giving this 5 stars, even though there are a few annoying issues with the app, because I am so happy that there is a new unbiased news source and I’m sure they will work out the issues. I can’t stand watching the other, so called “news” networks, such as CNN, Fox News and MSNBC because they contain very little news content and it’s mostly opinion with grandstanding and sometimes inaccurate information. I hope that News Nation succeeds and expands to a 24 hour news channel as right now they only offer live programming during evenings. I do have a few issues: * I use it on an iPad and it doesn’t rotate the screen to landscape until I start live video * It keeps prompting me for my provider’s login information (most apps only make you authenticate once in a while, but not almost every time you use it). This might have been fixed because it didn’t just prompt me again. * Live video doesn’t minimize to the corner when you change to another app, like most other video apps.

If you are looking for legitimate unbiased news… here it is.. If you have been searching for real unbiased tv news …your search is over. It is typically a lot of work to get the full picture having to jump around from biased news on one side to biased on another. No longer. NewsNation has got you covered … and they aren’t just blowing smoke. Yes … Cuomo came from a hard left biased organization and still leans left. But he has dialed it back … and his show is an opinion show… not to mention that he regularly has someone on to provide balance (love the segments with O’Reilly). But opinion aside … the news is real … and isn’t trying to brainwash you or convince you one way or the other. They find representation from multiple points of view and do not underweight one opinion by having its representation be relatively silent or incompetent (a CNN trick). NewsNation typically provides intelligent debate when differing opinions exist. This is as it should be. Keep up the good work.

News about how unbiased they are. Downloaded after watching Chris Cuomo’s come-back interview, learning he’s starting a prime-time program with them in fall. One unpleasant discovery about this channel is that some portion of the news they report is about various news reporting biases they found on the major news channels, and promotion of their own objectivity as an alternative. That’s not the kind of news I am interested in. Besides, obviously the goal here is self-promotion. If they are so much into policing other news channels — record a separate weekly show exposing their new-found biases, and make it available on demand for those who care to watch it. How biased or factually incorrect is news reporting by other news channels IS NOT NEWS!

Unbiased? Not. NewsNation seemed unbiased for the most part when I downloaded it last year. I can’t help but notice the clearly left leaning slant been creeping in these last few months. I have enjoyed them as a good general source of national news, but now feel the need to look elsewhere for truly unbiased news.

A video covers most of the screen. If you enjoy READING your news, as I do, it’s incredibly frustrating to be able to read only a few sentences at a time because a video player with ads covers the entire top half of the screen and auto-plays and there’s no way to remove it or change settings to avoid having it. If I wanted to watch videos and not read, I would go to FOX news.

Freezes in iOS 14.7.1 on iPhone 12 Mini. Great looking app with great content, but it freezes every time I try to read an individual story. Deleted, reinstalled 2x with the same result. Needs improvement.

Can it be?. An actual NEWS Channel that is not a coded propaganda piece for either right or left? Hope for journalism? Must be dreaming.

Stories blocked by video. I love your news, so I downloaded the app. When I clicked to read a story a video ad will play but covered up the story so I couldnt read it. I had to give the app two stars but your news stories is deserving of 5.

Update is worse!. After updating and starting to review articles, it forces you to watch the video. I can’t do that in public! It’s annoying to others! When done, you can’t scroll up and READ the article. Going somewhere else for news.

App freezes. ..everytime on click on heading & goes to story it freezes!!!…& yes i have uninstall/install many times…how 2 fix

Pretty Good App. The layout is clean, fast, and easy to navigate, and the live broadcast video plays well.

PRINT TOO TINY, VIDEO CLIPS OVERWHELMING, CANNOT MAKE PAGE BIGGER ON APPLE DEVICES.. I was excited to download the NN app but find it awkward.. The print is tiny and on my I pad or iPhone I cannot make the screen larger. Also any interesting topic is dominated by a video that cannot be stopped. Facts only. It is about time Americans have a news source that does not approach with a narrative to persuade viewers to their version of a story. This is the only place I trust, especially with the no commentary debates.

Left Leaning Biased Reporting. AllSides rated NewsNation as a center news reporting service. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reporting is clearly left leaning & bias. NewsNation uses AP reporting, which AllSides rates as left leaning. NewsNation employs admitted left leaning opinion reporters as Chris Cuomo & Dan Abrams. NewsNation reporting contributes to why the majority of people cannot trust the media. If looking for non-biased journalism then I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Ok. The news you give is news. But you’re being selective in your coverage thereby being biased in your reporting. Where’s the reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop? This is significant info that could effect election. But like all other media outlets, you’ve decided to follow suit.

App on the iPad lacking. The iPad version is just the iPhone app experience, just on larger screen. (And doesn’t even fill the entire screen).

crashed. Downloaded this app to read unbiased news. It has crashed every time I opened it. Weather knew my location immediately even tho my location settings are off. Weather won't load and crashed. Not recommending this app.

Why can’t I cast the stream to my TV?. Here’s the dilemma. I have a cable TV account with Verizon and I’m able to login to this app, using my Verizon credentials, to watch the live stream. However, if I go to a friend’s house, why can I not cast the stream on to a TV?

Mostly good but a critical problem with the app. The text on most of the stories Is too small for me to read. There is no method to increase the size of the text nor does the app use the phones accessibility features for larger text. As a result the app is not usable for me. Thank you for responding. However the News Nation Headings and Titles appear to adjust from the iphone’s accessibility adjustments but not the text of the story. I can send screenshots to an email if you’d like. Regards

iPad App. I’d love to see an iPad native app. I do almost all news reading on the iPad and always in landscape mode. It’s really annoying using an iPhone app on an iPad.

Newsnation calms. So calming to find a news source that presents whole stories and let’s me make up my own mind instead of being force fed polarized positions

True News. Just tuned into the first night of News Nation and got the app. So far, I’m very impressed at the ACTUAL NEWS.

Small print. The app and the website have smaller than usual print, and apparently offer no way for users to increase print size. The app has a small screen that seemingly cannot be enlarged. All of this makes NewsNation Now unusable to many of us.

Unbiased News. I love this newscast. It's about time we had a "just the facts" news source. Keep it up!

I find great value in WGN. I feel the app is clean and user friendly. I have enjoyed the coverage they put into this app daily. Please create a iPad app.

The real deal. If you want unbiased news, don’t waste your time anywhere else! This is a must download!

Radical Middle News. NN writes stories from the middle. Guests on shows are from varying viewpoints, both left and right. It actually sounds and feels like journalism. Well done!

Has flaws. On some articles an advertisement covers part of the text at the bottom of the article. On long articles everything seems to work fine. It may be the article failed to fully load.

Not for iPad. App works fine on my phone, but I downloaded it to use on my iPad and you can’t put it in horizontal mode. So I won’t be using the app.

Where’s the iPad supported version?. Like the app and the unbiased coverage but it’s a phone app on an iPad. I’d love an actual iPad optimized version.

Great Option. News that focuses on the news and not a string of opinions.

Not unbiased. Very disappointed. Certainly not a reincarnation of Walter Cronkite type news reporting. Advertisements for the show highlight their prejudice. On the good side, more local national news stories than you normally get from broadcast news. Just proceed with caution.

Sound and Objective reporting. Reminds me of news that sought the truth and the facts.

Nope. Was excited to find an app calling themselves unbiased and you may try to be, but without real facts you are showing your true colors. Those of us who know what’s really going on in Washington see that you’re just not digging deep enough. I can watch CNN and get the same happy talk.

News Nation Now spoon iPhone. The app downloaded onto my iPhone but will not open. Tried reinstalling but still didn’t open.

Not so unbiased. The very first article I read was surprising slanted, but under the guise of being unbiased. I may break it down in its entirety to demonstrate. Don’t know if its the author’s own bias shining through or if the intent is to persuade the reader of a certain view whilst pretending to present information objectively.
