This is a must for parent coaches. I’ve been a volunteer coach aka volentold for a few years . It’s seems very intimidating at first as your not sure what to do. It’s like herding a bunch of kids on energy bars . It’s very hard to keep them engaged for an hour of sport however I must say that once I found this app I was exited as this is something I wanted from the beginning! It guides you through a practice step by step with simple instructional videos ! Each practice is different and if you want to adjust it it lets you pic different exercises. Give it a try it’s free

Genius to get my kids out during Covid. I can’t wait until my children can really enjoy team sports again but with everyone cooped up in the house, it has been awesome to use mojo with the kids in our pod and get outside, play and get everyone moving. There videos and practice guides are giving me the confidence that I could maybe volunteer as a parent coach one day.

Great!. We coached Little League the spring, and this app was so helpful, it helped us learn how to do drills that actually benefit the kids, the kids were able to watch the videos and prepare for practice, and the parents knew what to expect from the practice. It helped with scheduling, communication, all of the things that can be a challenge when wrangling a team of children.

So many fun ideas. My kids (4&7) just started soccer and I have no clue how to practice with them at home. I decided to give Mojo a try and was pleasantly surprised to find simple drills we can do at the park and in our backyard. The drills are fun and more like games which keeps the kids motivated and having fun.

Coaches perspective. I coach two teams and this app is allowing us to stay organized for practices, games, concession work, and team pictures for times dates and locations. I love the mojo+ feature and score keeper by inning function; but I’d really like to use it for everything. Can you please add a multi team consolidated monthly calendar view with all event times for coaches and players? Can you also add the stats and pitch counts? My teams really enjoy watching the player videos as well. So much content! Nicely done.

So easy to keep track of both kids sports. MOJO makes it so easy to keep track of both my kiddos games and practices. Plus I can download the schedule to my phone calendar and can share the calendar with family! Love this app.

This is a Yes app. 🤾‍♂️. Mojo sports is definitely worth it. It’s nice for keeping kids active, but as a parent coach I like to be active too. Sure the app activity can be done by the coaches, but this app would definitely benefit to use activity tips for parent coaches to do with their “kids”.

Exciting Potential. I’ve been looking for an app that intuitively and easily builds out a practice for me. The ability to link my other coaches to the same practice builder is a great feature. I am often going to the Internet or a subscription based website that is overwhelming with options. MOJO makes it easy and with links to videos on how to run the drills even I can get the right. Now they just need to build out the rest of the sports!

Love this app. As a new coach teaching first graders about soccer, this was a great resource for me. Almost all of them were coming in with little to no prior experience. I was struggling to find drills of different skill levels that are also entertaining and fun for the kids. MOJO has met that need and surpassed all of my expectations. I’ve already recommended it to the head of the program in hopes other coaches will catch on.

Love this app!!. I coach my daughter’s team (Go Rockets) and Mojo is the thing I’ve been looking for to become a better coach. My knowledge of soccer is limited to my JV team in high school (Go Boars), and I really needed a refresher on which activities are essential for kids to build skills. It feels like Mojo designs each activity with development AND fun in mind. My girls leave each practice with a smile on their face :)

Love this app. This app is so helpful the only thing I would change is giving more options when making custom activities, I would give the option to add pictures and maybe also add different fonts and maybe even share your custom activities with other coaches using the app. I would also give the option to see all your training sessions from the past and also see the entire week schedule for all your teams in one calendar. But over all great app very helpful

Good app for inexperienced coaches. I use this app to Coach my son’s park district soccer team. As an individual that has never played soccer myself, this app is a huge help. You can have it plan out the practice drills for you and there are in depth explanations and videos to go along with each drill. The drills and practices are developmentally appropriate for the various age groups. I’ve used this app for U8 and now U10 and it has worked out well. I highly recommend for those needing a little direction for their soccer practices.

Amazing App for Coaches. This app makes easy to be a coach! As a Rec coach - I can quickly and easily create practice plans around she appropriate themes. I can also add custom drills that I have found from other resources - and then share the practice plan with parents so the kids can try activities on their own.

Terrific App!. An awesome tool for anyone involved, or wants to be involved in in youth sports. The videos are amazing and super helpful. So pumped to take my team’s practices to the next level, and I know the kids are going to love all the new drills. League championship here we come!

Great tool for teams. I love using Mojo Sports App for both of the soccer teams I coach. It’s a one stop app. I put my practice and game schedules in so parents (and players) can see exactly when and where practice will be. If I need to make changes I can easily notify parents in the app. The chat feature is very convenient. Perhaps my favorite feature is the ability to create my practice schedule right there in the app. Mojo has spent a lot of time and effort creating practice activities that build player skills. You can give the app a focus and it will create a practice plan based on your selection. You can then modify that plan as needed. You have the ability to create your own practice activities as well. I’ve been using it for almost 4 seasons now and the development team is always working to make it better. I’m always pleased with the updates.

Fantastic app missing 1 piece. I’ve used teamsnap to coach ice hockey and it was a great team management tool. Now I coach football and mojo was recommended by the league. I love it! It’s fantastic and has most of the features needed to successfully manage a team; drills to select from, roster, team chat, private chat, free version, paid version, doesn’t crash, games vs practices option. The only feature it’s missing and I think is crucial and is why I gave a 4 star vs 5 is attendance; as a coach I need to know how many players are coming to a game - it’s vital in making sure I have enough players or knowing I will have too many. Once this update is made, I will certainly raise my rating to a 5 star.

Amazing!. We have used this app to plan practice for only one practice and it has helped immensely to streamline practice! We got more quality time practicing and less trying to figure out what we were doing while simultaneously trying to corral or wrangle the kids. 10 stars!

Unhelpful, useless, and an extra burden. This app is really frustrating. I scant set up an account on a website so I can only use on my phone (and partner with an old phone couldn’t access - if I hadn’t recently upgraded I would have been out of luck as well). I can’t get it to send me emails or texts so I miss announcements if I don’t remember to check. It doesn’t allow me to easily add games to gmail calendar. I had to delete another app to download it. Basically nothing that is helpful about it as a parent. But our league refuses to email or send texts with updates after first game. Oh and it’s constantly trying to get me to pay to upgrade. As busy parents just make things easy and send emails with announcements!

Fantastic Coaching App. When our organization found MOJO, we were completely blown away by the professional production value. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow format. The app allows for a great deal of customization but can also walk you through setting up ready made practice sessions. MOJO is a must have for any coach looking to save time in preparation with professional well planned sessions for the kids.

Great for sports. This app is great for communicating with coaches and parents, as well as being able to post pictures and videos amongst the team. Very helpful app. Highly recommend to keep your team organized and in communication.

100% recommend!!. This app is so convenient and handy when it comes to sports. It provides a direct line of communication all in one place to all the parents at once. It provides a calendar for the whole team to see when practices and games are scheduled for so there’s no need for countless texts every week to remind everyone of what’s going on. Best of all, there is a section within the app that will literally give you practice plans that provide drills focusing on certain skills making it super easy to plan. Love the app 100% and definitely recommend!!

Amazing app, must for every new and mid-level coach. The drill ideas, very short videos, graphics make this super useful app for any new coach or someone without an extensive drill library. Even old dogs can learn new tricks in a way of teaching skills through games, not just lines and cones. One critical missing feature - COPY practice plans to a new practice. Some practice plans you want to repeat or tweek minimally, but don’t want rebound the entire plan from all drills.

Better Practices, Less Work. I’ve been coaching for 4 years, and feel I’ve been a pretty good coach in the volunteer ranks. This app was a game changer for me. I feel my practices have improved and I’m spending significantly less time preparing. I’d recommend to anyone building their own practices.

Absolutely love this!. As a coach and a very busy mom, this app really helps me plan my practices, stay in contact with parents and keep our team game, practice and snack schedule organized! This is the first season I have used it, but will definitely utilize the app from here on out!

Made Easy. I’ve been coaching recreational soccer for a few years and this app is great. Used to spend hours trying to formulate a practice and now I can do it in less than 5 minutes. The videos really help get the concept and makes plans a breeze. Highly recommend for any coach looking to expand their team skills and knowledge.

Good app so far.. Everything is good, but there should be an option to remove parents as coaches when you sent an invitation for the parents to join the team one creates. Or at least that I don’t see there as an option.

Simple I am well organized. I found this app to be simple and organized and I really enjoy it. Also we enjoy the players card. It gives a nether element so that the kids can be proud of what they’re doing.

Pretty sik Assistant App!. Great App. For seasoned & first time coaches, as well as everything in between. The team chat makes it great for any team updates or team news, so you only have to post one message. I use it for soccer and The “build your practice” feature is so insanely helpful and has so many resources for all skill type players. I don’t know of any other apps that have all the benefits of mojo, all together in one place! I do think this is a must if you’re coaching ANY number of players of ANY skill level! ⚽️

Best Coaching App EVER !!!. I am so thoroughly impressed with this app by far! I have been coaching soccer baseball and basketball for my kids for years now and this has been the best app specially geared towards coaching they have little video and clips to help you especially if you are new to coaching this is the way to go! I have been searching for an app to communicate with my parents and specifically for basketball, I was a little Leary at first but man am I glad I went with this one please do not hesitate you will be pleasantly surprised!!! Way to go MoJo!

Works for me. Never been a head coach before. So the stress was there. I was worried about how practices would go & how I would teach my team to get better. With MOJO, it completely took my worries away. Scheduling, practice drills, communication with parents, Etc. It really made me relax and realize, I can totally do this. Thank you so much.

Perfect App Any Parent/Coach. I have been coaching various recreational level sports for nearly 20 years. One of the biggest issue is ensuring all my players received my notifications. Emails and text changes do not always get responses. However, with this App I never have a problem. If someone doesn’t mark that they will attend an event, I re-send them another one. Saves me so much time and stress. I go to the game knowing exactly who will show up. In addition, sometimes I do not have time (or I am just feeling lazy) to create a practice plan. They have a great list of drill we can work on. I can either select particular drills or have a entire practice plan. It shows me a video of the drill, the number of players required, and the equipment needed. This is the perfect app for those soccer parents/coaches that understand the game, but don’t really “know” the game. The only way they can make this perfect app even better is to add a snack list. Actually, that is my team parents request. I love this App.

Great for new coaches!. I am brand new to coaching and this app has made it easy for me to plan practices! And the best part is that the kids are having fun doing it! Just put in the age group, number of players, and length of practice, and activities are generated automatically! The different areas of focus are great so you can decide what the kids should work on. The videos are helpful in seeing how the activities should look. And I have done this all without a subscription!

Great app for youth coaches. I love this app! So far it has almost everything I want and need. The only small thing I would like is to be able to build practice plans and store them. With names/learning targets just as the pre made ones have. For now I am using ones that are premade and swapping out different comments to meet my teams needs. Then I loose the “name/title” on my calendar. It’s a small thing but it really helps when planning

Garbage app. This app is so bad. I’d give it zero stars if I could. It is constantly giving you pop-ups showing errors and frozen white/black screens. I’d estimate it only works about 20% of the time. The worst part is you are forced to use it because of the kids’ sports league so A) you can’t find a better app and B) they have a captive audience so they don’t give crap about fixing the app. It’s also incredibly annoying to get constant ad to pay to get the upgraded version of the app. Why would I pay for something I didn’t want in the first place! Ugh!

Brilliant!!!. Doesn’t matter if you’re new to soccer or you had a soccer ball in your crib, this app will help bridge the gap to coaching your players! Provides skills, drills and thrills for your wee players to the next masters of the pitch. Covers topics, videos on games to play and techniques on how to get your players excited about matches. As a board member of KYSC, I highly recommend MOJO to coaches and parents. And we don’t see a dime from this app so this is my honest opinion on what it can do for you and your team.

Very helpful for youth coaches. I wasn’t much of a soccer player growing up so my knowledge of the game is rather limited. When tasked with coaching U6 and then U8 I very much just stumbled through my first two seasons hoping I’d be able to teach the kids something while keeping their interests. This season I found MOJO Sports and it has helped me find activities the kids can enjoy at practice (not simply kicking drills) that also have usefulness. The large activities library allows me to keep practices new and exciting if I want while also allowing me to keep favorite activities revolving. If there’s one thing I’d like to see improved, it’s ideas on how to best introduce the concept of positions for younger players.

Good team management app. Been using Mojo for 2 years. It’s been great for team management and communication. The only thing I wish it had was a location where your record could be seen. Right now I have to scroll through past games to figure out our record.

Super helpful. As a president of an organization having quality practices from volunteer coaches is sometimes difficult. This app makes it so easy to ensure that if they follow the easy steps and videos, the kids are building great fundamentals.

Godsend!. This app is EXACTLY the thing coaches and coaching directors at many levels have been needing for a long time! Simple, to the point, and adaptable. One good thing that would be nice is a feature allowing Coach feedback of team shortcomings that would then adjust practice themes and subjects. Aside from that, having an open-source feature that would allow coaches to upload their own activities to swap into practices as needed and share ideas with one another would be awesome too! Great app already, and I hope the developers keep adding new content and features along the way. If they do, it’ll be the best $ I’ve ever spent on an app!

So helpful. Did you volunteer to coach your kid’s team? Even a soccer enthusiast like me had a solid first two practices, but then I ran out of ideas. This app is full of practice ideas that are simple to understand and try right away. IMO it’s a must have for coaches short on time

Best Coaching App Ever. I can’t believe how easy this is to use WOW I’ve only had 4 practices so far but every drill is a success even if it doesn’t seem so at first. I’m seeing the skills being used in the same day later in practice during scrimmage. That’s 8-9 year olds getting it. Great job Mojo!!

Constant updates and subscription nags. Does the basics alright, if a little clunky. But it desperately wants to be a social media app, burying more useful components while prodding everyone to live stream games and upload more personal details of your little kids. Then there’s the frequent splash screens asking me to pay a subscription that I have to click through, and the “update now” screens that require new downloads from the App Store with no noticeable update to the app itself.

Way better than texting everyone. They have a great group chat that allows you to message everyone all at the same time without clogging up your inbox. Also you can set the schedule in one easy place with minimal Mantenance.

What a great app!. I love MOJO! It has so many different drills and means I don’t have to stress about planning practices. Not only does it choose drills for you, it explains how to do them with beautiful, well- produced videos. Sharing this will all my coaching friends and companions.

So far so good. As a former player who has also coached for several years, I am finding this app very helpful and insightful. Offers many different drills to help prepare a practice plan and the included videos are extremely helpful. So glad to have MOJO as an option.

The perfect tool for parent coaches. I use Mojo for my school rec teams and my select teams. I wish this was around 8 years ago when I started coaching. The kids come to practice excited to try new drills and practice their favorites too. Drills I tried at first, like soccer tennis didn’t seem to me to be that useful but the kids had fun doing them and by the end of the session I saw technical improvement and no fear when a ball was in the air during a game. I recommend it to everyone at all levels of coaching. Can’t wait to use the new features this fall. Looks a lot easier to edit and tailor practices to my teams.

Constantly annoying notifications. Is this app convenient? Sure, depends who you’re asking and the user preference. I’m reality, Mojo thinks they’re a more important app than they really are. You get constant notifications and updates that you cannot personalize so you’re subject to their marketing and team updates (that are the most important). Not to mention, they constantly try to get you to pay for their subscription.

AMAZING. This is the best resource I have ever found. It’s realistic quick guides and videos have provided me stress free practices where we can all learn and have fun! Even the articles are quick reads and have great tips. I HIGHLY recommend Mojo and am so great full for the resource.

Too good to be true. I spent a season on Google looking for drills that I could understand and also teach to my U11 players. Then I found MOJO and could not believe how easy it makes practice planning. The videos show me exactly what the drill should look like and how I can modify it to my team’s needs. Thank you. What a great resource!. Started out by watching videos on YouTube and was blown away by the clear, concise instructions for working on different “Activities” for the kids. Great app for coaches of all levels. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant. Such a needed service and a beautiful, well designed interface.

Schedule Sync Could Be Better. Schedule sync with Apple Calendar is confusing with multiple kids as it does not indicate what team or kid each practice or game in the title of the calendar event. With taking a quick glance at the calendar there is no way to tell which child the invite is associated with.

Not a fan. I have enrolled 2 of my kids in a local soccer club, and I can only see 1 profile in Mojo. I sent a request to update the information 2 days ago, and still haven’t heard back. Disappointed.

Please fix. App closes the second I try to open the team chat. I’m unable to read messages or respond. I tried to delete and download again as well as power cycled my device. Neither worked.

Great coaching tool. I was looking for some new practice drills for my older son and this app really delivered. Very helpful to browse by topic so I could customize practice based on what we needed.

The most helpful app. Awesome way to create a bit of community & keep track of all kinds of logistics for my son’s baseball team. So helpful!!

Seems ok. Good for communication but I wouldn’t pay $30 for drills. Keeps asking to upgrade, I’ll probably use another app. I’d pay $5 maybe $10 for the season but even that idk if it’s worth it.

Coach. I love the app it makes it so much easier to communicate with both parents and other coaches

Not good for multiple kids. I hate the new update. I can’t change the colors or font of the groups. The font is so big it doesn’t finish the title to know which kids group I’m try to select. Our football had game changer, Game Changer is multi kid friendly.

Incredible value. This app is amazing. The level of detail you get on each practice is tremendous. It builds out not just practice drills/games but also progresses through the season. It is an essential tool for any coach - especially a new coach.

Great. Use it for U8 soccer. Easily communicate with parents and it provides drills for practice. Not sure how they could make it better.

What a great app for drills at home!. My son is in football and baseball and this app is great to have when you need more ideas for drills to do at home and how to properly do them.

Notification function is awful. You either have to get every single notification about everything or nothing. I just want to be updated about chats and schedule changes. So irritating.
