Horrible company. The app is horrible. This company makes it impossible to cancel after the trial. The link doesn’t work and they will charge your card anyway. Contacting them is virtually impossible. I would not give them a try. You will not have access to your payment info to remove it. They store your payment info so they can continue to charge your card. Do Not sign up with this company. There are many other legit companies out there. This one is not one of them.

I actually really like this app but... I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I really like it features .. but I think it could use some maintenance… First a foremost the app will freeze almost but not everything freezes. When I’m editing a reel i can scroll through the clips I have and I can click the little eye to preview my video but every now and then it won’t let me click to edit a clip or even select a clip but everything else works fine? Really frustrating when trying to edit because, on to my 2nd point.. there’s NO WAY to save my progress , it’s like I have to create the whole reeel right then and if I exit out of the app everything is gone and I have to start over.. therefore I cannot restart the app when it freezes bc I will lose all my progress , this is a really good app in all though and I hope to see improvements soon

It Makes Me Upset. This is truly a good video Editor.., But it's terrible because it freezes a lot.. You can be working on a project forever then boom it's kicks you out or when you try to save it it says SOMETHING WENT WRONG TRY AGAIN.. That's super annoying.. Sometimes I have to turn my phone off and on just to make it refresh and be able to use it... The worse part is you pay for this app and it constantly crashes

Ripped off. Subscribed though website (Facebook add), I was charged 1 dollar to get my “customized posting experience “ only to get a link to simply open the app through Apple. Beware website users, you gonna be charged even if you cancel your subscription though Apple or Google Store. That customized plan give them access to your money without any Apple or so refund policies. The only way to get out is asking for a link so you can get unsubscribed

App won’t load to my paid account. I paid for this app but can’t access my plan. The app continues to open asking me to sign up for a trial. The two times the app prompted me for my password the loading icon started to spin but never quit. I have tried reloading, shutting off my iPad. My payment was accepted, I was charged for a full year, as requested, but now I can’t use the app. I have contacted customer service. If I don’t hear back I’ll cancel through my credit card. Major pain, time waster so far. Fingers crossed. If this is fixed I’ll write another review.

Crashes in IPhone. I’m using this app on a seven day free trial and it does not auto save my projects. Consistently runs my phone, extremely hot and then crashes without saving my work in the middle of a project after spending a half hour on trying to create a real I lose everything, the app itself has very appealing features to use and I would keep the app to use it. However, I’m very disappointed that it runs my phone hot and then crashes without auto saving my work.

Great. But Flawed. The app itself is a GREAT app and can definitely see myself using it all the time! But, the problem I have with the app is that when I have created a story, and save it, I try to go back and re edit the same video with different text/image. After exporting that second one, some of the elements of that story are missing, so you have to the start the process all over instead of just being to quickly edit the previous story.

Annoying, regret paying for a year. It’s like the 6th time that after editing 20-30 min the save/download icon has disappeared and you can’t go ‘back’ either. Your just stuck after finishing a video and have no choice than to force quit only to find when you open the app back up all your work is gone ….no auto save … No video or edits. SO FREAKIN ANNOYING. Wish I hadn’t paid for a year. Also really hard to get to YouTube/landscape format, still can’t find it. I just see that option when I land on it somewhere. Needs work. Not worth what we are paying yet. Posts should have much more templates. Best for stories. Frustrating to say the least

Definitely worth to try. As someone who's tried numerous social media tools over the years, I can confidently say that Lift stands out from the rest. What caught my attention initially was its sleek design and promise of easy background removal – a feature I've always found tricky, especially with small objets.

Your app is great for collages but there’s way too many crashes. I love using your app to create collages and express my creativity, I find it super easy and fun to use. But the biggest problem is that this app constantly crashes and when you go to open your project again, it’s not there. I spent over a hour making a collage only to see a blank template when I opened the app again. Please fix this, if this could get resolved I would give this app 5 stars.

Good Editor, Terrible Exporting. The editor is good, was able to make a video relatively fast. However, exporting the video is a nightmare..i’ve been trying to export my video for hours, stuck on the export screen which says you can’t leave the screen (let your phone go to sleep, etc). Tried deleting the app, remaking my video, ensuring my settings allow the app to access all my photos..nothing works! So frustrating, I’d recommend finding a different app to use..if you can’t export what you create, a video making app is useless.

Didn’t work for me. Nothing worked every time I added my pics and videos and clicked next it just completely shut down. It didn’t even work and when I opened it back up it didn’t even save a draft. I got smart and asked the ai assistant to help me create a video and it tried and said it did. They must have limitations that don’t make it user friendly. It said it uploaded it to google and Vimeo and all links it shared with me and said it gave me access didn’t work! I waisted a few hours of my time on for nothing. This doesn’t work too many bugs and restrictions I’m sure.

When it works. It has started to freeze when trying to open my photos on my iPhone 12. Can’t add photos which should be the easy part. Unusable because can’t use my photo or add media it freezes soon after opening shame. Hope there’s a fix coming or deleting and cancelling subscription.

Nice but missing basic features. It is a beautiful app but it’s missing some basic features like the center align horizontally and I’m assuming vertically. There is a weird glitch when I try and triple click to select all text in a text box, it acts like I am done editing text. When I try to move the curser within a text box, it closes out the edit as if I am done editing. Those are enough for me to not pay a weekly fee. I love the idea of the animated graphics! I will be trying again once and if these options are fixed. 😉

Things amazing. I use this app on a weekly basis to create amazing stories for my photography so they can be more engaging. Also one of their newer features is the story reminder which is great because then I can ditch other apps and save some space on my phone. Overall perfect app and highly recommend!

Awesome app. I don’t like the fact that the user is prevented from selecting the yearly option on the subscription or given the opportunity for a one time payment. The biggest issue is within a project and this happens multiple times; it takes forever to access my images and videos. I’m using 2 gigabit speeds.

Developer doesn’t believe in app, why should I?. If your app only offers a 3 day trial and requires you to cancel 24 hours before trial is up, you’re trying to catch people unaware and bill them. If your app was as good as you want us to think, you wouldn’t need underhand techniques to get customers. I think you know people will cancel the trash app so you just try to get money out of them as fast as possible. $20+ a month is too much for this app and they know.

Don’t work anymore. I was paying for the subscription and there was a general bug for 2 months I couldn't open the app. I really like the App, but I felt robbed for paying and not being able to use it. In the rush of everyday life, I didn't have time to cancel before.

Amazing but Expensive. Love this app! I wish it wasn’t so expensive though, in the end I don’t want to pay $4.99/week. I wish they gave you the option to do a cheaper yearly subscription or even better - a more expensive one-time purchase for lifetime. I’d be onboard for that!

Simply Wonderful. Cliche time- I don’t typically leave reviews unless I REALLY hate or love something. Well, I love this app. Super simple to use. Aesthetically easy on the eyes. The features and controls are fairly deep once you dig into them. The subscription is pricey but it’s worth it to me because how often I use this app.

Awesome app!!!. This app has helped me post more content on the go and on all my devices!! I haven’t had any issues yet so I do recommend it! It’s been a lifesaver when I don’t really feel like posting. It makes it easy to create and post!

App keeps freezing and dropping off. I don’t ever leave reviews. But I really wanted to love this app. First once you pay for the premium, why are you still limited by how many backgrounds you can remove a day. On top of that, the app freezes. You either have to close the app, or wait till it just shuts itself off, either way you lose your work! I’m so disappointed. 😒

Top for creator and biz 🥰. This is a super nice app for all content creators and some people with small business. I use it to make ads and for promoting my shop. If you create your own content, then I recommend this app. There are a lot of free features to get the job done, but there are even better features if you pay for the pro version.

Won’t let me cancel my subscription. I signed up for the free trial but did not really like the app and immediately tried to cancel the subscription but it shows no where on my apple settings so I thought I was good and deleted the app only to be charged $20, I don’t see no where I can cancel this subscription and I’m not trying to get a whole new debit card for and woulda also loved to get a refund cus I never used the app but I wish right now I could just cancel my subscription!

It’s ok but annoying. It doesn’t matter if you buy the app or not it’s been almost a year now and the only time you get to go back and checkout your past projects is just one time after the app does a self upgrade. After that everyone you click on projects the app shuts down and closed. EVERYTIME. So if you’re the type of person who doesn’t throw their phone or want to fight someone when the app doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do even after you pay for it. Then download it. When it actually works it provides very good content.

Complete Fail - Can’t Export. I wanted to love this app, but after paying for a subscription to try it, when I completed my first story (which looked beautiful, though it took a while to create), I could not get the app to export my project. I just got the “preparing to export” spinning wheel for eternity. Did all the troubleshooting stuff: restart, delete and reinstall etc. nothing. Submitted a support ticket, which was closed a few days later by the support team without any response. Next app please, this one doesn’t work and has no support.

Stories for my biz. This app is great to create stories that include more than one photo for Instagram stories. I also use it to make Before and Afters for small business use. Good variety of page styles, easy to customize, user friendly app

So-So. This app is extremely glitchy. Yea it can do photo cut outs and provides templates. but from a creative stand point you have no real control over what you can do. My story kept resetting cut outs would suddenly glitch and all my clips would reset their duration extremely frustrating. Have no control over weather I want clips to fade out or do a hard cut out. Very confusing not very user friendly over UX is a 3/10

Marking made simple. Having sold real estate for 38 years I have seen and heard everything , and even then something new is always evolving the next day . One acquires so many avenues then it hits why not do three or four good. Lift makes it very easy to just pick up your phone and get yourself out there 😊👍

Effortless Content Creation. This is one of my favorite apps, I love to write so this is really good. It's great that u don't have to pay that much and can choose what template u want, and it's also really good u can choose like all the little details most editing apps don't have🥳

Caleb Roldán. This app is so good to use for story creations, I love that you can add music now without being flagged by Instagram for copy rights. I have impresso as well and lift work works better when it comes to music and having better templates but they could be updated a little more just to change it up. Only I thing I like more from impresso that lift doesn’t have is the option to put multiple pics or videos on one scene where on lift it only gives you the option to pick one. Lift also doesn’t give you big selection to different styles of fonts or ways to set it up like impresso. Those add ons would put you at the top but right how I have to switch back and forth between apps depending on what kind of story creation I’m creating for a client.

So much potential but missing so much!. Yet another promising app missing too many features. No tutorial or walkthrough on how to use the app. No undo button, no ability to remove overlays and things easily from templates. No ability to edit template items to change their size. Can only animate photos in one direction. Limits you to 5 photos even though there’s a reel and TikTok template. I’m a graphic designer and if I can’t figure an app out in 5 minutes or less it’s useless to me and removed from my phone. Just learn After Effects.

The best app of my life!!!. Despite having a phone for most of my life this is my first time writing an App Store review, because Lift is simply that great! I’ve only made a 3 days trial but I’ve already created loads of Instagram Stories! And it just took me seconds to figure out how to use every aspect of the app from templates to color-pick and fonts. It’s simply a satisfying and I would recommend it to anyone!

Great concept but glitchy. The app crashes and glitches a lot. After hours of working on project it crashed and deleted my entire project. So I redid it, hours later, crashed again and lost all the work. I’m done. Also no way of contacting the company to report the issue that I can see, so leaving my feedback here. My phone and the app is all up to date so that’s not the issue. It’s just not worth losing hours of my time.

Great App for Creators. I have been using this app for sometime now and I really enjoy using this app for enhancing my creative ability. Whenever you have a road block, Lift really helps brings inspiration to your content. I really like how you can edit and make everything personal. You can also start from scratch if you have something in mind that you want to create. The only thing is you have to pay to get the AI Avatars and the Instagram guide. I’m still on the fence to buy it, but it could be helpful if you really are a beginner. Great app so far 👍🏽

I’ll try again, but.... I just created the videos I wanted after about 45min and after “exporting” the video is nowhere to be found. Additionally, I can’t get into my saved stories section at all. The app closes whenever I select that option. I’ll try deleting and reloading since other reviews seem to feel that once you get past these glitches the app can work really well. 🤞🏾😌

$20/month not free as advert. Basically if you don’t subscribe you can post your photos! False advertising brought me here and is the reason I’m ticked enough to leave a review. If it had not been advertised as free app to remove background I would have deleted app and moved on. But their ad said you can remove backgrounds and free app for life. The only free part is to post photos. And only 3 days to try it then $5 per week which is $20/month and not sure it would return that investors.

glitched every single time. I found that this app sucked. I was just trying to string a bunch of 30-second clips together. It would tell me not to close the screen while it was trying to finish the project, but then it would glitch out and close the screen before it could be finished. Over and over. told me that if I wanted to save my project in progress I had to register and make an account so I did. It still didn't save anything when it glitched out. I literally could not make a video. I uninstalled it from my phone and cancelled the (brand new) subscription.

content superapp. They just added the ability to remove background from images and make content for other social platforms (not only Inst) which is super nice for making all the content in one app. ⭐️

Too many hoops. I loved what I saw in the reviews and got the 3 day free trial. However, as one of the other reviews stated as a very busy person I completely forgot about the trial and was charged. For 3 days I was unaware of what exactly I was charged for and did some digging until I remembered. Not once did I use it and honestly don’t think I ever will so I tried to obtain a refund but man do they make it completely impossible to get one. For those who have read their policy, it gives you so many hoops to jump through just to obtain that! I guess I’ll that that $20 loss but wanted to warn anyone to not forget to cancel that trial! And yes I did cancel my account to make sure I will not be charged again!

Zero stars. I use this app for maybe three minutes and decided it wasn’t for me, but had already chosen the free trial option. I was left with no way to cancel this subscriptions, free trial. It wasn’t under my subscriptions. It wasn’t anywhere within the app and when I tried to email them back, I immediately got an email saying they couldn’t receive emails so now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to cancel this subscription that I never wanted in the first place.

Scam - Beware. “Lift” photo app is scamming customers out of their money. If you cancel a free trial on the app and it does not report to Apple by the end of the free trial and the customer ends up getting charged for something they did not want. I didn’t think I would get charged because I did not subscribe to the app but merely downloaded it. There are other reviews that state other people too have been scammed out of their money. I am currently working with Apple about this issue & getting my refund.

Piece of Garbage. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Trying to make a slideshow of my wife and kids. Once all your photos are uploaded and set time slots, don’t you dare click a different frame size otherwise it destroys all of the other ones you’ve had set. I’ve had to adjust 80 photos twice now because it zooms in all of the sudden. Absolute trash. And then just added a song and it only added 20 seconds of it and then restarts again. But oh whatever, I’ll just go delete the song right? NOPE there’s no delete button. I’ve wasted hours this morning on this slideshow and I would love to give them a piece of my mind.

I got charge twice and no refund and no service. I like the app, but unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. I was charged twice and cannot use it on both my cell phone and iPad. They refunded one of the charges, but canceled my subscription, so now I am unable to use the app. I paid $59 and cannot use the app at all. I have been engaging in a series of discussions with customer service, yet it appears that they lack the comprehension or the expertise required to resolve the matter at hand. Update weeks later they simply decided to stop responding. This app is a scam they will take your money.

I really like it. You guys are kings! I used another video editor for the longest time, but I recently switched to Lift because of its incredible features. And then I just got to playing around inside and it's so easy to use. Well done!

Awesome company and app. I didn’t post to social media for over a year because I didn’t know (or want to know) how to set the right dimensions and templates, text editors, etc. to make social media work. I didn’t know how people were dedicating so much time to get Instagram posts and other posts out. Lift is a great time saver that helped me overcome my fear and made things a lot easier for me. I also like the interface. If you’re serious about posting on social media but are confused about how to make it happen without wasting hours trying to figure out how to do that manually, then Lift is where it’s at.

False Advertising- Don’t Buy (Yet). I loved the 3D ads the developed this app runs. I wanted to easily create IG Stories like theirs, as their app clearly suggests you can, so I subscribed. I’m a busy person so the three-day trial went quickly. After spending a couple of hours digging through the app’s features, I couldn’t find anything that would remotely allow you to create graphics like the ones the developers use to promote their app. I headed over to their IG account to see what their posts look like there. None of the posts there are like the ones in the ad. I thought I was looking at the wrong account. But I wasn’t. I asked in one of their posts how to achieve the effects that they are advertising, and someone from the company gleefully replied that those are features that they are still testing! (I have the screenshots for anyone wants to see them.) This is blatant false advertising. Apple should ban those ads until the feature ships or the ad clearly states that the features used to create the ad have not shipped. Buyer beware. Unless you’re willing to invest in an ordinary graphics app until the developers ship the extraordinary features that they are advertising, do not buy this app. I’d give it a 0 rating if I could. Even once they do ship, I will not buy it. They’ve proven themselves unethical and unworthy of my business.

Has trouble uploading your work. I tried this app for the ease it’s supposed to give you for posting on social media. The templates and ease of designing a post are great, but it does no good if you are unable to load them to your social media platforms. Very disappointed in this app, I have tried multiple times over multiple days to get it to upload. It never works. 😡

Bugs. I would love this app even more if it didn’t freeze and shutdown on me. Every time I’m editing a video, it’s starts to free and the closes. I have to save my changes after every edit just to ensure that I don’t lose it. Other than that, I love the features. It just gets VERY frustrating. Especially since I’ve already paid for two months 🌚

Recommend it. Text animations, good fonts collection and royalty-free music are what I was looking for, and found in Lift. But a night mood would be appreciated, thanks Lift team. 😊

Not trustworthy. I would give this app a 0 rating if I could. They said free trial for 3 days. I signed up for the premium service which is aprx. 7$ each week for each product. I chose two premium products: education & story editing. And the moment I signed up for 3 day free trial thinking they will deduct the money from my card after 3 days, but straightaway they deducted 30$!!!!!!! from my account!!!

Beautiful templates - but quite glitchy :(. I really, genuinely wanted to love this app - and there are some great features (especially the choice of unique & beautiful templates). But after spending several hours creating a series of story designs, the app crashed and I lost everything. I notified the app support team, who couldn’t do anything except say ‘sorry for the loss’. I was feeling very reluctant to try again, but decided to do so several days later - just in case it was a once off. To be safe, I created each story page as a single item (rather than a multi page story). But unfortunately, the app crashed another two times in the process of recreating my story designs. Maybe my story had too many elements (making it too big), or maybe there’s just some weird app bug - I’m not sure? Either way, my experience has been frustrating to say the least. Recommend app users save their work regularly!!

Best app. Killer app.. for someone who is new to social media.. this app is insane

Timing bugs. Everything works fine, but lots of bugs when you change the timing of texts and other things more than once I was trying to make it sync with the background music and the more I changed the timing the more the pre-made animations delayed eventually the story would finish before the animations would even show up.

So simple to use. If I can use it, anyone can! What a great app so many templates and tools.

Do NOT subscribe! SCAM. I subscribed to the 1 week trial. I did not get access to the app, despite being charged. It says I then have to pay for a 3-day trial!? And I cannot even cancel my subscription, because it's says I don't have one. Nor is there a way to do so. But I definitely got charged on my credit card! Unfortunately, now know I'm going to get charged the full subscription fee after the 1 week trial period (by seeing other reviews with the same issue). And at that point, it looks like I will not have a way to contact anyone about it. This is a SCAM! Do not subscribe! This is terrible

“Functional without paying” is a joke. Da Fat must have come to some agreement with the developer to have written such a misleading review. Almost all features in the app are premium. E.g you can post a story but nothing more without paying for the app. You can have 1 effect, no more, without paying for the app. And so on and so forth. Gives you the gist of it. Oh yes. And you have to subscribe to payment, with free trial only for 3 days. Disappointing to say the least. As someone who really wants to give the app a good go, 3 days is not enough of a trial. Greedy, money-grabbing developer is how it comes across. I am deleting the app and definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone. —- Response to the developers response —— “Lots of free features” is an outright lie. As I have already stated in my review can do little to nothing without paying. Some others have also honestly stated the same. Lying, cheating, money-grabbing developer. DO NOT TRUST.

! Stay away from this garbage they steal your money!. Stay away I did a three at trial six weeks ago cancel as it’s garbage then yesterday I get a alert from my bank, these people have taken a monthly subscription, I don’t have a subscription, now they haven’t replied to any emails, I won’t my money, back, I never subscribed cancelled after 24hrs of a three day trial period! Then when I sent support a email, straight away they put me on a newsletter subscription

very deceiving. On any other app, if you have already had a free trial, it wouldn’t ask you again. Instead, Lift asked me, and because of this, i assumed i hadn’t done one before. Apparently I had before and they charged me for the year ($90). I contacted them and they were very blunt telling me I couldn’t get it back and they wouldn’t help me. I don’t recommend.

I can’t unsubscribe. DANGEROUS APP.. I was trying the “7 days free”, that by the way is not free. I didn’t like the app. Nothing I couldn’t get free from other apps. So I tried to cancel the subscription. I just couldn’t found the option. Apple apps says I don’t have lift as a subscription… lift says I didn’t have a subscription… and after a week.. PUM!! The first monthly charge. And guest what? I still don’t have the option to unsubscribe or cancel. I’m paying for a subscription I don’t have.

Waste of money!. The app cos $5 and doesn’t explain that nearly every feature is in unusable unless you upgrade. They don’t even categorise the templates into pro or not, so the entire interface is very very difficult to use. Unfold is much better than Lift - would highly recommend!

love it. using for businnes is the best decision i ever made. i can't afford manager for my socials so try to run instagram by my own and Lift really helps me. easy to use, can create branded content

Beware of the app charges. To my great disappointment, I now notice that I’ve been charged for a trial for this app, that was billed to my account one day after I canceled the subscription. Beware because this is not a cheap app and the charges will be hidden in your bank account

Usual cash grab from developers. It really annoys me when when you can’t even try an app without having to subscribe. In order to get access you need to sign up for the subscription and only after that do you get a free 3 day trial. If you’re convinced that you’ve got a good product then give people REAL free access, they’ll presumably love it and they’ll then happily sign up for your subscription. 🤷‍♀️ Since I can’t even try it, that’s it for me, deleting the app.

Not happy. Confusing to use, cannot delete page, have to delete all your work and start again, not worth the bother sorry!

Worst app ever. Same thing happened to me that others mentioned above. I cancelled my subscription before end of 3 day trial & was still charged a weekly $7.69 fee PLUS it shows $39 Aud deduction in my bank account FROM THE APP DEVELOPER, NOT ITUNES So I can’t request a refund through iTunes as I’ve already unsubscribed & there is no purchase history there to report a problem with. I want my money back! Do not download this app!!!!!!

Blank Template Is A Pro Template??. There are hardly any free templates so I put together a blank template and put all the work into it myself and try to save it and it doesn’t work. I contact the developers and they advise that a blank template is a Pro template!! What effort did they have to put into it that we’d have to pay for it? It’s a poor attempt at extortion. I’ll go back to Canva where blank templates are free.

Too slow to edit anything. Incredibly slow

Keeps crashing. The app crashed four times when I was creating a reel. Every time I had to start all over only for it to crash again. Haven’t been able to create anything. Very frustrating experience so far.

For light project only. Personal experience! The Lift app is for light projects only! Lift becomes very slow and unresponsive sometimes.

Free trial for 30 days? Absolutely NO!. I cancelled my subscription knowing I’ll be charged. My concern is, there was a message which popped out of nowhere when I opened the application again( just to make sure I cancelled my subscription.)The message stated that they are extending the free trial up to 30 days. I was fool to click on that. There was no way to prove that message. Anyway, I got charged for a year subscription. Lol.

Love this app!. I love this app for a lot of different reasons but the only thing I wish they would incorporate is Canadian and other places holidays… like I was trying to make something for Canadian thanksgiving and there was nothing up for thanksgiving… we also should be able to access any type of holiday at anytime in preparation for each holiday or event. Would make this app 10/10 in my book if they incorporated that!

Became an online content guru!. Lift allows business owners to be their own designers with its limitless templates and designs! I love how I can create consistent content with it for my Instagram Stories. Real life-saver!

Crashes. App crashes a lot during use. Can’t delete images with “x”. Only back button works. Paid for the app for ease of creating quick posts but instead I have to find an alternative app. Some good content but not enough!

Lags A Lot. Hard to get support. App shows on one area that it’s $4.99 per week AND $59.99 USD per year. In an other area it’s says $6.99 per week AND 79.99 USD per year. I’ve been trying to get an answer as to what the actual cost is but I can’t seem to get a real response from support. Price is important when paying in a different currency than US dollars…

Didn’t work. Downloaded it, tried to create a video using two videos shot on phone and it took forever to load videos, deleted immediately.

DO NOT BUY! Crashes, you’ll lose your work.. I’ve tried to make reels, and the app crashes repeatedly and I lose my progress every time. Don’t waste your money.

Dodgy renewal. If you sign up for the free trial, you won’t be warned ahead of time that you’re subscribing and this app won’t appear in your subscription list in Settings on your phone. I’d recommend not signing up for the free trial if you forget that you’ve signed up for things and are counting on the company to give you advanced notice of a renewal. Can’t speak to the app because I didn’t use it but their subscription practices tell me all I need to know about the integrity of the company.

Keeps asking me to pay over and over again. I did a year subscription and this stupid app keeps asking me to pay over and over again when I am trying to use it!!!!!

Scam! They steal your money! I have to report to my bank.. Do not download! This app charged me $97 when I subscribed to the 7 day trial that said it would cost $1 and then auto charge after 7 days at $26 approx / month. I signed up and the second day I went to unsubscribe, there was no way to unsubscribe from the auto renewal as all the links were broken. So I sent an email to support, they said they canceled it, and I got charged $97 on my card. It’s a complete scam. Robbery of your money and they make it difficult to unsubscribe. Nothing was advertised or a $97 charge.

Don’t work at all. Since the last update, the app takes forever to load. It freeze when you try to create something and crash every time you try to select your work.

It’s not that great. I downloaded this app to make a profile picture for a friend and in the end it was so bad at removing backgrounds and stuff that I just ended up using the apps on google not worth it

Inviting but not for a novice. Insufficient how-to instructions to complete a task for the average user

Flawed, surprise subscription based app. I have created a piece of music and I want to add images, with the end result essentially being a slideshow with a runtime of the length of the music. I have to spend minutes dragging the timeline in the clock tool window 4 seconds at a time until it is the length of the music. The music does not play inside the clock mode, so there is no way to confirm timing. And then when I go to “eye mode” to preview to make sure I’ve made the cuts appropriately the music is back, but there is no way to skip around in the timeline to view just the few seconds around the edit points. All in all, a flawed user interface, inappropriate for my use case. Also: they trick you into giving a bunch of information, and only afterward tell you it is a paid subscription based service.

Fun at this moment. I really like this app, despite they don’t have the option for year payment. I am using it most of the time for the template. I do not edit my videos from there though, but very nice variety of fonts. I actually use Lift app for the last step of my Reels/story edit before to post it on Instagram. update: Question for developper - do we have to subscribe before then change for yr payment or there is an option to do it before paying? Cause i dont see anywhere I can change it in my phone setting

Glitchy, Slow, and Global Music Disappeared. I cancelled my membership today because of the fact that the app no longer works. I would use this on a daily basis but over the last couple days nothing works. Very disappointing.

Scam. I cancelled the free trial days in advance. Lift still charged me for it. When I go into the app and my account, it says I don’t have any subscriptions. BUT THEY TOOK MY MONEY?! Nope. Don’t even do the free trial with this app.

Misleading and Fake advertisement. Their Instagram ad takes people to a page that looks like the AppStore. In that parallel universe, they’re the #1 app in the Photo category and have the “Editor’s choice badge”.

Scam. I tried the free trial and after they automatically charged 20 bucks from my account and they’ve been doing so for a month, i tried to cancel it, i deleted my account even, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Can’t upload photos and videos. I can’t upload from my recent album. It won’t allow me to even scroll through my album for photos.

Frustrating & unsuccessful experience. I was so excited to try this app out. I spent a long time selecting my videos, playing with the templates and making the video my vision. I loved what I created but when I exported or tried to upload directly to IG the format was off, the images were moved. It was so defeating as I spent a lot of time on it.

Attn: it’s $6.99/month-not free. Please be upfront with your prices, bait and switch are unacceptable practices in business these days.

Doesn’t Save Projects. This app crashes, is slow, and doesn’t save projects. After redoing a project twice because it didn’t save within the app I finally gave up. Followed all troubleshooting on the website. Couldn’t edit a video after saving so I uninstalled the app like the FAQ suggested and redownloaded to find that it deleted all my projects. Buggy, frustrating app.

So far so good.. So far so good. But the app constantly freezes on me and I lost a lot of work that I’ve done because I had to close it out. Freezes when I try to create a new project (plus sign in the middle) and when I tap on the media tab.

Stories do not export like preview.. The first time I tried to do the first story, once I placed the images and videos in the boxes it showed me the preview as designed but when I exported it, it was showing the images completely off, smaller and to the sides. There is also no place to get help right away. Such as shame for an app that looks like has very great usability and design.

They will bill you illegally class action wAiting to happen. Scam I cancelled my subscription after the first week and they continued to bill me on a monthly fee which is not even offered on the site. There is no phone number to contact customer support and the messaging center is a joke. Once you have someone on the line and you complain they go ghost and don’t respond

Ad says one thing, purchase page TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Ad claims 7 day trial for $1. After putting in payment info it says a 3 day trial which must be cancelled 24 hours PRIOR to expiration of trial. Which means I only get TWO days to try it or rather a day and 3 hours because it’s after 9pm now. Also NO EMAIL EVER CAME to access ANYTHING even though I requested it twice. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact you people! Save your money!!!!! Don’t buy!!!!!

False advertisement. It seemed like a cool app when I saw the ad online but I have only tried create two templates and after the first one was unable to save and download my next one unless I subscribed which is a bummer since it took a while to even understand how it worked as well as use the few little features it opened up so definitely not what it was hyped up to be 👎🏼

just what I needed. Been trying to up my Instagram & find this Lift. What a find! The Reels editor is a breeze to use, and my videos are looking goooood now. Plus, the educational tips are pretty cool.

Fitness Coach. I like all the options on the app but it’s still very limited. I paid $5 for a week. When I go to preview all my edits there’s a lag between the start times of all edits. It’s like the beginning 5 seconds of a 10 second clip pops up empty then it shows all your words or edits the last 5 seconds. That is very frustrating. I wouldn’t spend the $60 for the year use. Def not worth it!

Not good. Bait and switch. I ran into this app on instagram. Very disappointed, frustrated and irritated. I tried to cancel the subscription and they still billed me. DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. They said that it would be a social media promoter, or a boost. This was not the case. I found the interface confusing and not helpful. When I tried to cancel they still billed me after the trial. I would not recommend.

Top for small business. I have a small business and I know I need to improve my Reel game if I want to be relevant at all. Since I started use this app I have got hundreds of views on my Reels and 500+ followers on my biz page.

Really wanted to love this.. I love everything about this the app!! However, the most important thing for a makeup artist, is the photos. The pictures look beautiful in the app (true to the the real colors), but when I export to IG, they look very dark and orange?? I’ve tried everything to fix it. Different templates, filters, etc. no success.

Simple app breaking issue. I loved this app until you removed my ability to listen to music while on it. Now I’m switching to Procreate. I would spend a lot of time on this app designing things while listening to music but with that gone that’s an entire dimension missing. Fix it I guess. Easy simple app breaking change in a market filled with competition.

Background removal. Love that app when it’s working. Seems like I’m always getter an error telling me “can’t remove background at the moment, try again later”. It’s so annoying that it’s constantly doing this often.

This is greed!. For what you can look at on the app for free you can do anywhere else for free if you try to add music and you just go with the royalty free she gives you I think it’s 10 free lessons that means once you’ve listen to it 10 times you have nothing more you have to go pro everything has limitations not worth the money.

Doesn’t auto save. App does not auto save. While the user interface makes it easy for editing, when I exit the app to go research on my browser, when I come back the whole project has been deleted. This has happened to me twice now!! So frustrating.

First day of a trial. I like it, ostensibly…however, in choosing to create a new asset I couldn’t tap any of the options from a blank state. I will delete and reinstall app and give it a chance but v frustrating start. I tried trouble shooting and several different tactics. It doesn’t matter how good the app is or features are if it crashes or stalls that is so user hostile. Will update my rating if it gets better.

Lost Work. For some reason this app keeps logging me out and I seem to lose the work I did. Perhaps it’s beginner error…. But kind of confusing.

10/10 recommend. It's saved me a bundle, and it's a game-changer for my IG business page. They've got a bunch of fantastic Reels templates that even newbies can use to create beautiful designs.

I’ve tried this app twice now. I must tell you that it’s just a photo app. It just puts photos and music together that you can use or do on your own. It doesn’t make you more followers. It doesn’t do what the advertisement says will to do. All it does is create a collage. Big freaking deal. Yes I watched videos and apps. Great for managing those. Not so great after promising more followers.

Not perfect but close. Lift's pretty great, not gonna lie. Had a couple of hiccups with the app freezing, but the latest update seems to have fixed it. The magic eraser is next level.

Smooth Editing. Best video editor with plenty of bells and whistles. I use it to edit my vlogs, reels, and sales ads. Also find it intuitive and very easy to use.

Looks Appealing But…. This is way too expensive for people striving to build their brands. Also, they started charging me twice a week, which implies greed and knowledge that they know they are charging too much. Dear Lift, if you would allocate users a price that competes with other apps, you will likely see a rise in people using your app.

Love making it, but every time I go to export it closes my phone. Not sure what’s going on, I’ve tried restarting my phone, updating the app, etc. but every single time that I spend a lot of time creating some work, when I export it, it will close the app and all my work will be lost. Really super frustrating. Can someone please get back to me?

Not Working Anymore. I used to love this app and used it a lot for my restaurant promotions but ultimately it is very glitchy. Doesn’t download, gets stuck, doesn’t open. Basically it has become unusable. If they don’t fix these issues soon I will be quitting the service and moving to another app.

There are other ways. This is just an editing app. It was billed as an optimization app in the walk through. I expected an assessment of my account, but that seems to be an upsell. Not interested in an editing app when I all ready have Adobe Express to design posts. I wanted insight to spotting trends. Thanks, no thanks.

Keeps crashing. The app keeps crashing. I start a project and it just crashes mid way. Doesn’t even save what I previously did. I’m in the free trial. I like the concept but I’m glad I’m not paying for this.

Too difficult. Maybe it’s just me getting older but I had a hard time using this app and figuring out everything. I couldn’t figure out how to see previews of the story or do anything else. It’s was hard for me to navigate the app while editing.

Blegh. Literally THE worst font choices. The templates spark 0 inspiration. They're very stale, there's no real variation in the underlying style despite the different categories. It's giving picmonkey circa 2008 beta version. Don't waste your time. Use canva or learn adobe, seriously. Much more worth your energy especially if you're using graphic design apps; you're clearly marketing something worthwhile and this- is not it.

FRAUDULENT CHARGES. Even after you unsubscribe this app will STILL charge you over and over. I had to cancel my bank card because they wouldn’t stop trying to charge me for an app I deleted and unsubscribed from!!! This app is also listed on sites as one of many apps that are known to do this. Be careful! If this works for you, great, but if you try to unsubscribe just know they will try to scam you out of your hard earned cash!!

Doesn’t always work. It’s great when is works. Literally just shuts off half way through making a video. Probably spent an hour adding photos and videos multiple times. Such a waste of time. Even left it for a few weeks and then came back updated it and it did the same thing

My designs won’t download. My designs won’t download and when one did it was missing some of the text. It keeps saying to re-try!! can you help me?
