Not free and not easy. If you want my money then make my life easier. Everyone should know before downloading this app that there is a 2 step process to record a call with this app. I find it a deal breaker. Step 1) accept incoming call (easy and logical) step 2) place the person on hold while you dial in to the call recorder number and initiate call recording . No thank you. Too much work and too much time. Oh and on top of that they want you to pay them $7.99 a week.

Tried to Resolve Issues. I saw a ton of great reviews and hoped to have a similar review. However, the app would not send an SMS to my number in order to complete set up. I tired numerous times but never received the SMS. I deleted the app and redownloaded it in efforts to get the newest version and in hopes it would resolve the issues. I was unable to find a customer service contact to help resolve the issue but cannot find a customer assistance POC. The three day trail did now work so I signed up in hopes I was missing something; I still might be missing something, but it should not be that difficult to set up the fully functional app. It ended wasting some of my time and money. I am glad it worked for most, but for me I cannot even find a way to get a refund.

No messages. This is an expensive app and when you all of the sudden cannot access you saved phone calls and you need them for court I just keep getting the circle going around and around or some message to try again. It was working great in the beginning but for some reason I can’t get anything to work. There is no number anywhere to reach anyone and I am court ordered to have this.!

Glitchy. I’ve had the application for less than two weeks, and now it’s not logging in or even allowing the app to do anything whatsoever. It shows a notification that says “you’re not allowed to make payments at this time, please try again later“. Very annoying to have an application that has such high reviews end up being a total dud. I hope that the admin’s or dev team for this application fix it as soon as possible. I’ve already paid for a one year subscription to the application. I would hate to have to battle it out with whomever to get a refund. Ask for the actual application itself, very useful. Very user-friendly. And convenient when you can actually prepare for a phone call before hand. In instances where I have a phone call coming in and I need to record it, I simply ask the person calling to hold for one second while I connect to the application to record the conversation. Ultimately, it is a tool that Hass to be executed properly for it to function the way it supposed to. Overall, very good application; when it is functional.

Jokes. Well ya me. I needed copies of my calls last night and listened to them today and well I’m not laughing. I will admit you got me loud and clear but as soon as they answered theres nothing but total silence. Cute. You have not helped one bit. To try and charge such an exorbitant amount in the first place and then not work at all. I guess it’s on me to not take the time and check the first recording, but I have a trusting nature. I’m finding out the hard way the just because there’s an app on my iPhone doesn’t mean it works correctly nor can it be trusted. I feel like the iPhone should have higher standards but they don’t. I guess if they are capable of killing batteries quicker they are certainly capable of having unreliable apps on their phones. Wow the more I learn of mankind the more it is heartbreaking. It seems no one is trustworthy, honest, nor just plain kind anymore. So just thought I’d drop a quick to tell you how let down I am once again.

Worthless. Absolute failure of an app. I tried to use it for an important call and it recorded 16 minutes of silence. Simply did not work. Immediately cancelled my trial. I’m so disappointed and hope they can do better for themselves or pick a better line of business given their withering skill set. Maybe a white noise machine app would be more up their alley since all they can produce is a droning silence punctuated only with profound disappointment and forlorn grievance over what was once my $7.

Apps involving security should be free.. Especially if it has ads. I downloaded this app thinking they had my best interests in hand. If you download this app, please understand that they’re only expecting money out of you. Immediately after downloading, the app asks you to pay $7+ in monthly payments, without any verification that they are trustworthy. This is a very bad app, the download is with out a doubt untrustworthy. DO NOT BUY. It’s a waste of your money, friend. They’re robbing you of genuine security. You are not secure with this company, they only want money from you and your family. It’s not worth years or legal battles or what they aren’t presenting to you. This is a VERY BAD app. Do not listen to monthly prescriber ads or initiation to the app for your own safety. You will be the fool at the end of the day. Talk to professionals. This is not a smart choice for you and your future family.

Unauthorized charge. So downloaded the app 2 weeks ago and signed up for the free trial - found out it was not exactly what I needed to I immediately uninstalled the app and canceled my free week trial subscription and for some reason I just got charged 1$ from these guys - I double checked as I thought maybe I had forgotten to cancel it but no my trial was canceled and ended 4 days ago - have a refund in progress and going to email them about fraudulent activities - there’s not even a 1$ subscription option so there’s def some weird unscrupulous stuff going on with this app

Money stealing app. The app told me that it would give me a free trial and I put my thumb print and they didn’t show that it was charging me for anything but then it charge me eight dollars, this app is stupid and steals your money and says it’s giving you a free trial, but then charges you eight dollars, not only that but I only have the subscription for three days because it was supposed to be a three day trial, so I don’t even have the full month that I paid for. Thanks for saving my $80 you stupid app, I hate you, and I hate the people who developed this useless app,

Bad marketing, don’t buy until fixed. I redact my previous review. The app took a couple hours to send me the 44min recorded call I had. Did what is was supposed to, just takes some time on long calls.

Very easy. Sooo easy to work and have conference calls. All team members now do not miss any important details. Thanks for boosting the productivity of out startup. I also should admit that this app differs a lot from the applications that we have tried before. I am sure that even the person who is not very tech savvy, will cope with this app quickly.

The usual deceiving of these apps “never free”. Why apple has all these apps that say free with in app ads which does not let you get to that side unless you sign up and buy a membership prior. Sorry if I don want it it stays on my phone forever even after deleting them from my phone.

Does Not Work on My iPhone 12 Pro. I just downloaded it as a backup, and thank god I tested it first. Signed up for the trial, and tried a test call. (For reference, you have to answer your call first, then open the app to call another number, and then merge the calls.) tried to call the American number (I’m in America) immediately tell me there’s an app error, and the call fails. So I tried deleting/redownloading, restarting then soft resetting my phone, same issue. It does not record incoming calls at all. I have the current version of iOS, so there is no reason my phone shouldn’t work.

Scam and not working. I don’t know this app and I was trying to use it and they give me five minutes offer to purchase a year subscription and I was full to fail for it since it says 90% discount. Well not only this app barely working you have to call a number to record it, I might as well just use my second phone and use it as a recorder. I have no luck getting my money back such a waste of money so please don’t waste your money no help from customer service.

Deceptive practices. I wanted to try this app before making a commitment to purchase, so I requested the seven day free trial. However, upon selecting this, I was forced to link my payment account and was immediately charged $30. At no point was there an actually free trial. I immediately sent an email to the support team, explaining the situation and requesting a refund and they have yet to respond after almost 2 weeks, so I am escalating to Apple store. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency. Will not be using this product.

Call Dropping / Great App. The App is great with one exception calls drop if any button is pressed during the call for example if an automated messages ask you to press the number 1,2,3… on your phone keypad to make a selection the call recording phone number will disconnect and you have to call the call recording number again to record the conversation. Would be a five stars even with this issue recording sold App worth the buy.

Stopped Recording - Alerted other party. I chose to give the app a 3 star review. The app mostly works as advertised, I can confirm you will have to merge the calls which usually takes a moment and you won’t be able to hear the other person if they start speaking during the merge. The reason I left 3 stars is because I was recording a vital call between HR and myself for protection in the event of retaliation for reporting illegal activities on the company I work for. About 5 minutes into the call, the HR director stopped speaking and asked if I was still there, then said they heard a “click”. I’m not sure if the app made any other sounds for them while I was on the phone. Additionally, the app only recorded 12:22minutes out of a 45 minute call and stopped recording with no warning or no notice that it was no longer recording. This lead to losing the majority of the conversation with vital details that could have protected me should I be retaliated against, and now I simply would have to use a partial recording as a defense should it come to it. Aside from not recording the full call, and alerting the caller with a beep about 5 minutes in, the app does work as described, and there is a paid subscription.

Paid for 1 year $60 my recordings Disappeared!!. I knew a 3 day trail wouldn’t be enough for what I needed it for- so I opted to pay for the one year offer. $60 later, and a few calls I needed had been recorded- however you should know, you DO have to put the call you want recorded on “hold” while you “call” the recorder- then merge the two calls, this takes a moment to do… so that might be problematic for some- anyway, all was well, until one day I open the app (first not even able to get in) to find “you have no recordings” End of story. Not saved. Not backed up somewhere. Just GONE! Needless to say- I want my MONEY BACK! Very very UNSATISFIED!

Appreciated. I have been telling others that my memory is not very good. I That I wish there was a way to record my doctors message, so that I can share what was said with my family. Also, when I get appointment calls, this will help me in many ways. Thank you for improving our needs.

Excellent functionality. Hey, everybody. I decided to share my impression from call recorder for iPhone to help other people understand what they can expect. First, it’s very nice and user-friendly. Second, it has plenty of great features. I can record, share and look through all files easily. It is not even necessary to open the app as it works in a background. After downloading, you need only a few secs to run the application and understand how it works. I can sincerely recommend a call recorder for iPhone to everybody who wants to record calls without any limits.

Fail. I downloaded this app with high hopes, but unfortunately it didn't work the way it was supposed to. I followed the instructions carefully, but the app failed to deliver on its promises. I was particularly disappointed because the app had claimed to offer a solution to a problem I've been struggling with for a while. However, when I tried to use the app, it didn't perform as advertised. Not only did the app fail to solve my problem, it was also quite buggy and crashed frequently. The interface was clunky and difficult to navigate, making it even more frustrating to use. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with this app and would not recommend it to anyone. It's a shame because the idea behind it was promising, but the execution fell far short of expectations.

Stopped working after subscribing. The app worked really well for my needs the first day and a half or so. The next time I needed it, the free trial was over and I paid the subscription fee. No matter what I tried, though, it absolutely would not record more than a couple of minutes in a call anymore. One call went well over half an hour and the recording was about a second long. I didn’t touch my phone at all while the call was in progress. I feel bizarrely cheated, but oh well.

The Crop Function Doesn’t Work. I took a good voice recording using this app. However, I can only rather save it to files and figure out how to edit it there or use the crop function in the app. The crop function will never work. When I press the button, the entire app shuts down. Regarding the “save to files” option: I have absolutely no clue how to edit an audio on file.

False advertising. The description clearly says unlimited call recording. Record the entire conversation and so on and so forth… I signed up I paid the monthly subscription and my first recorded experience the call lasted for 45 minutes and the recording cut off after 30. It seems to be a time limit quirk and only record calls for 30 minutes. 30 minutes and 33 seconds to be exact

Very disappointed. I downloaded this app as I am involved in a huge harassment, intimidation and retaliation case at work. I had to have a phone conference with Human Resources as I live far from work. I wanted the call to be recorded for protection purposes. It only recorded 7 seconds of a 35 minute conversation! During the call there was very very important information admitted, and now I can’t prove it! I’m so so upset! Maybe it’s because when I called my work number, I had the recorder activated and then was transferred and it hung up the assist number?! I don’t know but if that’s the case, it should say that in the directions. I can’t even believe it.

Does not work at all....ugh!. To start a call or to start recording after a call is already started, all that happens is it rings once and says, "We are sorry, an application error has occurred. Good bye!" Not only once but every single time I've tried to use it over the last two days. I looked in the app to try and find help to trouble shoot the issue but I've found nothing. I would have reached out before leaving this review but since I couldn't find a way to contact anyone, I decided to write the review. Maybe this way someone can realize there is a problem and fix the issue.

Refund this recording app is trash. I would like a refund this recording app is terrible. This is not the first time did it did not record my car very important called that I thought was being recorded and it wasn’t being recorded and I am being charged. I would like a refund for every payment I have made to this app. He did not record my call I would like someone from support to contact me by phone so I can verbally let them know how I feel

Works great. Works amazing, but have no idea how to cancel my subscription, been trying to figure it out for a week and there is no clear area. Used it for what I needed within the first week and works amazing either call or normal recording.

SCAM THIS APP IS ROBBING ME. NO WAY ON THE APP TO OFFICIALLY CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION- I removed my number and the app removed all of my data because I ended my usage after 1 hour on the app BECAUSE IT SAID AFTER A DAY IT WOULD NO LONGER BE FREE SO I PURPOSELY REMOVED MY NUMBER FROM THE APP AND ALLOWED IT TO DELETE MY INFORMATION. Since then i have been getting repeated charges EACH WEEK $8.70 when I never used the app after 1 hour. This app is robbing and scamming people. It charged me 3 times already and I can not afford this. I contacted apple and was only able to end the subscription through a link they texted me through my apple ID. Do not support this app.

Life saver. I am 70 years old and have partial dementia. Call recorder allow’s me to get the phone numbers I need and remember who I’m talking to later. Love the app. It is an absolute must, especially when someone calls and I’m driving.

Works well customer service absent. Beware, it’s not possible to convert from mo that to yearly. I started call recorder 2 no ago and read it was 7.99 monthly but could be upgraded to yearly for < $50 with credit for the monthly fees you’ve paid. I knew quickly that I wanted to switch to annual and get credit for the 2paid months toward my yearly fee. Well I tried to do this through Apple who collects the $. No email or other link to help with this. I wrote to the Accord Mobil customer service to request this and 2 weeks later no response. Is this a way to keep clients paying the monthly fee? The only way I can think of is to cancelltthe service now. Try to buy the $50 yearly. But this attempt to access the offer was a bust and wasted a lot of my time.

Scam don’t buy subscriptions. It’s fraud.. Fraud don’t down load. I downloaded the app. Because I’m been harassed and needed to record the calls. For future evidence I payed the subscription. After paying the app just says app error. Doesn’t works. It’s a total fraud my account got charged. 50 some dollars.

AVOID THIS APP. I can almost guarantee that this app is not what you’re looking for. I purchased this apps subscription to record one specific phone call. I followed the instructions to begin recording an outbound call and everything appeared to be functioning as it should. After the call, I downloaded the file - which I had already set to store locally - and lo-and-behold, the recording is 20 minutes of silence. I attempted to edit the file using the in-app editor, only for the app to crash every time I tried. My second complaint is that this app requires you to call a phone number, and then add the call you want to record to that existing call. This is not what I signed up for…

Detect a liar!. I downloaded this app for fun: my ex-GF had a terrible habit reject from her recent words. That made me mad, and lengthy discussions afterward took plenty of my time. Thanks to this app, I’ve got the records of the calls, and she apologized then. She is not with me anymore, but the call recorder is! Just in case;)

✨TIP TO FIND LOST RECORDINGS✨. I have seen a lot of people having the same issue as I did…. I made a recording of a very important call, merged the calls, followed the directions, knew how to run the app properly, as I’d used it before. Went to the app to play back my recording, and see “no recordings” and my heart dropped. I found a review where someone advised downloading the app on another device, putting your phone number into the settings (on the app) and the recordings all reappeared!!! Not on my device, but the new one. Not perfect, but you will be able to send them to yourself at least. Hope this helps someone else 💛✨

Call recorder. I have been a call recorder for 2 questions and it ask me to rate it. Well if it works like the rest of the phone I give. It a big thumbs down. I downloaded t to record my phone call with apple support. I am telling you right now. This thing is dangerous. All these problems and so many built in apps Just leaves us open for the hackers. With every little bug there another way us old veterans can be exploited. The funny thing (not so funny). I have 2 degrees in computer hardware. Though they are old. If I get stuck in this position just think how the other old people like your parents and grandparents that still are alive can also be put in a dangerous position. With those that want to exploit to make their fortunes. Yes I don’t trust this phone. It is real screwed. Yes by all means record my call with you but give me a copy too

Their needed phone # not working!. Based on all the good reviews, I went ahead and paid the approximately $50 for a one year plan. Went to set it up and realized it works like others I have, requiring joining two phone calls, including one with their phone number. When I have my app dialed their phone number, I get a terse recording that there has been an app failure or something and it hangs up on me. Finally found an email at the bottom of pages of fine print and sent them an email which is not, so far, in acknowledged within 24 hours.

Worst Experience Ever. I downloaded the app to record an important business call. I did the 3 day free trial. When I tried to use the app it doesn’t work. I keep getting a “Sorry, an application error has occurred” then it hangs up. In summary, a total piece of garbage app. I also don’t see an easy “cancel my subscription” button in the setting so I may be a total scam. It is $7.99 a week for something that is totally and completely useless!

Extremely DISAPPOINTED. Paid for the yearly subscription.. app seemed a lil cheesy. But kinda worked fine I guess. & this app has NEVER worked in background. Doesn’t make contact or recent call suggestions.. but Lost phone.. got another.. & then was so relieved when my recordings were in the cloud! If I would have written my review then.. “Free Trial”. I downloaded this just to check it out. Never used it. I just realized that it’s been charging me $8.55/week. I did not see anything that said I would automatically start being charged after the free trial, especially when nothing came up for me to choose which subscription I would want if I did want to keep the app and pay for it. So they just assumed I wanted the weekly subscription? Almost $45 taken out of my account. What a rip-off!

Recording stops spontaneously W/O WARNING!. This is a review on the Call Recorder app by AccordMobi. I downloaded this app mostly, in part, due to high reviews. Ugh! Never again. Clearly, these reviews can be manipulated.! As you would expect, a subscription is required to use this app. Under the guise that this app functioned as promised, I opted for the 1 year subscription at $60; while the other option at $8/week did not make sense for me. Brief step-by-step instructions on How to record a phone call are included via the app. I firsI made a BRIEF practice call which appeared to work as promised. I then needed to record a very important phone convo that detailed specific events and details. it was important this data was preserved and available later for reference. Again, I followed the instructions per the app. To my dismay, I discovered that Call Recorder had spontaneously stopped recording my phone conversation 4 min and ‘x’ seconds into the conversation. No warning. No explanation. No support. No rhyme or reason. Moreover, No contact info for technical support or the developer. Its almost as if the developer listed the app in the Apple Store simply to generate revenue without any intention of supporting it. With a generic name like Call Recorder, its more difficult to track and differentiate the duds from “the realz”. If you need an app you can rely on to record phone calls from start to finish, this app is not for you!

Waste of time and - yes - money. It’s total trash. Stops recording without warning. Nobody gets this for a lark; like another reviewer I needed to record an important convo re: a consumer issue. Without warning, it just stops recording — even though I had paid for the subscription. So I go back to my recorder… nothing there. Total silence. Like the other reviewer — it worked for only the first convo. Looking back through the next 8 recording attempts, I have nothing but silence, for various amounts of time. Or I have a few seconds of the beginning of the conversation. The other issue I have is - transcription? What transcription? When I try to access or share the transcript for the one convo that worked, there were no options to do so. I wound up sharing the recording with the person I’d had the convo with. But we both agreed to get the app because we wanted a TRANSCRIPT of our convos to save time later as we’re ghostwriting together. Ugh. Just no.

Do not use. I read all the good reviews on here so I stupidly decided to skip the free trial. I was in a rush because I am dealing with a dangerous situation and need to be able to record conversations. It does not work at all. I followed the directions step by step and it will not work. I requested a refund before my payment had even been fully processed but the money was still taken. No refund has taken place. I honestly feel like this is just a scam. I’m so upset. Please do not waste your time or money.

Used to work amazingly. This may sound dramatic but I’m a little heartbroken. This app got me through some tough court situations in the past. Eventually, I didn't need anymore so I deleted it. I recently came across a situation that I would benefit from having this call recording feature. It was such an important call and something told me to use another device as a backup but this app hard worked so flawlessly before that I decided to trust it and it alone. This time, I was wrong. After the call ended, the wheel was spinning on the app and then nothing. I refreshed, closed the app, reopened it, and it still dreadfully reads “you don't have any records”. Twas a lesson learned to listen to your gut but I felt I had to write this review as a long time user.

RECOVER YOUR LOST RECORDINGS. I loved this app. I’ve used it for almost a year now. But one day all my recordings were GONE. I emailed and emailed the app developer and I never heard anything from them. Boo on them. I downloaded the app on a family members phone. Went into the account settings and changed the phone number to my phone number. ALL MY RECORDINGS CAME BACK INSTANTLY. They still aren’t on my original device but I was able to download them and send them to myself. I’m hoping this helps someone else down the road as well.

Purchase. We already have to purchase the phone, the accessories by the time we walk out of the store we have already spent close to $500. We have to pay to activate the phone. It has became ridiculous on how much money we pay. All services do is price gauge the customer then, price gauge again with these advertisements and YOU think there free with your phone but again it’s pay pay pay more money. We are working class people not big tech corporations with millions if not billions of dollars to spend on add ons to our phones. This should be illegal and you should be appreciated that we spent our hard earned money on your products and give the people who purchase your products a break, instead of trying to get more money out of them and put them closer to the poor house. Since we are NOT millionaires or billionaires. Disgrace!!!!!!

Store the necessary info without wasting paper!. My hectic lifestyle does not allow me to note everything in a notebook or paper. Even when I do, it is always hard to find anything specific in it, ha-ha) Due to my work, I have to remember plenty of necessary things by ear. And this app is a catch because I can repeat the record as many times as I need. No paper routine anymore. Call Recorder has broken new ground!

Not working. As I was trying to set up the app, it wouldn’t even give me the option of adding a call it just kept saying there was a problem with the app. There wasn’t even a phone number for me to contact anyone to try to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible. My friend used this app previously but they went and re-downloaded it so they could help me out and they couldn’t even get it to work. It was nothing like they used to have with this app. With this much trouble, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone. I’m just hoping I get my money back for the same day I downloaded it

No good!!!. After downloading this app, I wanted to include my own opinion I formulated after only 30 seconds. When you first open this app, you put your phone number in and afterwards it states “Unlimited access to all features, pay $9.99 weekly to record incoming and outgoing calls. Now, I decided to say no to that and see what happens if I click the X in the top left corner. *sigh of relief* I made it to the green call button at the bottom. When I clicked the button, I could hardly believe my eyes. Would this app really not include any features for free? That would be correct.. you have to pay the weekly service fee to use any features on this app. Outrageous!

Essential for calls with detailed info!. My memory often lets me down in the most inopportune moment: I need to hear the same information several times to remember it, e.g., new names, digits, addresses, etc. I always use this app to record calls. Now I do not have to strain my brain to remember the car number of my taxi or other precise information proceeded via the phone call. The efficient thing for me! Highly suggest.

Doesn’t work in Australia and they don’t honour a cooling-off. I recently had a very disappointing experience with the "Phone Calls Recorder on iPhone" app and its Premium Access LTO service. Despite promptly canceling the service during the cooling-off period, I was unexpectedly charged. What's more frustrating is that the app is only functional in the US, which wasn't clear at the time of purchase. My initial refund request for the app was processed, but the Premium Access LTO remained in a "Pending" state, preventing any action on my part. To my surprise, the charge for this service was confirmed ten days later. This delay, along with the lack of clear communication and inability to use the service due to regional restrictions, has been a source of significant inconvenience. I'm disappointed with how this situation was handled and the lack of responsive customer support. This experience has significantly affected my trust and satisfaction with the service. I hope this feedback prompts a re-evaluation of customer service policies and communication clarity for future users.

Doesn’t work. Pulled into the trial for $80 per year. Outgoing call test for 10 mins. Nothing was transcribed “no recognizable speech” and even the call wasn’t recorded properly. Rubbish product.

Not recording overseas calls. This call cannot record overseas calls for some reason, only can do local calls which is very annoying and had to cancel the subscription

Difficult to understand operation. I paid my years subscription and now having difficulty using, is there a step by step instruction sheet. Currently not happy after paying $79+

Great call recording - transcription needs work. Tested the recording during the free trial and found no issues with using the incoming or outgoing recordings. Was the easiest to use of the four products I trialled. Call recording was clear and easy to access in the app. The only drawback for me is that the transcription program can’t quite understand the Aussie accent - but then again, neither can most people!

I wish I had read the reviews before installing.. Free trial doesn't work. "Error occurred". The. It was 90% off for the full year. So I signed up. Tested the app. Recorded a call and let me point out that the app puts the call on hold to merge the calls. After that there was no record no history. Nothing. As a business we can't answer a call and put customers on hold. Because the first ones we use are advising them of a recording. This app is way behind on what it needs to be. I want a refund. And apple should take this down. It's just gouging and not actually useful or properly working!

Subscription rates. This is a bit frustrating when u advertise $11 a month but wont allow the user who downloads it to choose that option from the app and i stead u force a $9.99 weekly sign up.

App recorded test calls but not the real call. The ads appear to work doing random test calls. But as soon as I went to make the call that I needed to be recorded, it did not record anything did not even show a call happened. I would say is not reliable. So if you really need to record it, do it the old fashion way, and get a recording device to record.

Trash!!!!. I never even downloaded this! I have no idea how it ended up coming out of my PayPal. I though this was my pandora subscription for months because it won’t tell you what it is unless you sign into apple. This is a fraud and I have already reported them. New Customer with a question - how do I get an answer?. I’m a new subscriber and have a question on a call I recorded. However can find a tech support number ?

Didn’t work. I subscribed and when I tried to record an important call it wouldn’t connect to the assist number, which is used to record the call. The call wouldn’t go through after several attempts. The app does this so it couldn’t be me typing in the wrong number. I missed recording a very important call, not happy!

Doesn’t work and can’t cancel. Downloaded the app, agreed to the free trial on the basis that I could use it for three days and then cancel. Didn’t work at all (when I called per instructions I received an error message) and then could not find a way to cancel the trial in settings, as it said I would be able to. Do not recommend.

Stops recording if switched to headphones, doenst inform you?!. Allows you to switch to other listening devices, shows the call line number still recording, but actually stops recording without telling you!!!!!! So frustrating! I just lost 40 minutes, and that’s the main reason I even wanted this app!

your phone conversation will be recorded REMOTELY. this is how the app works: after you manually setup a three party phone conversation while the third party is the company’s phone number, the company is able to record the call. Before you start the trial or buy premium you cannot do anything with the app.

Hopefully it’s working. I didn’t know it was going on my phone but I have nothing criminal to hide.

Trash. When tray to cancel the subscription is impossible do it with the phone. I call Apple for do it and they don’t do and then charge me $ 52,99 when the subscription is 49, 99. Won’t pay for this.. All the people here saying they started a recording when they received a call and it didn’t work are not lying. It worked fine with an outgoing call. But it didn’t work on an incoming call. But still try it for yourself during the free three day trial before you waste money on this.

Did not record some calls. First several calls which I used this app to record worked fine. Although the transcription tool was spotty and there were few which didn’t load at all. The last two calls I made recently using this app the exact same way, NOT there! Very upset those calls were dropped

Can’t recommend for longer conversations. I unfortunately can’t recommend the app other than for short conversations. It worked for about 9 minutes, but failed to record the rest of the phone interview that was about an hour long.

Can’t record someone’s recorded voice greeting. Downloaded app in order to record my sister’s recorded voice greeting on her phone because she passed away and I wanted to save her voice, but I couldn’t record it. The Call Recorder app starts recording after the voice message. Actually, I believe it causes for the greeting to not be played and jumps directory to leaving her a message. Unfortunate.

It Records Sometimes and Doesn’t Record Others. It’s unreliable. I paid $10 for the monthly subscription today. I was using it for a phone call and discovered that it had not recorded the entire conversation. If it is unreliable, it’s as good as if it didn’t work completely. I’m requesting my money back.

Had to cancel didn’t work. It worked when I did a test call, so I figured it would work for my important call. I did everything the way I was supposed to, I saw the calls merge however when I got off the phone the record of the call wasn’t there. I’m just so sad and disappointing

second review - recordings in accessible. i made major calls and relied in full faith that this app seeing how expensive it is for a simple record feature to record these calls and provide a transcript. i needed a call recorder in a jam but i got an erorr message my icloud wasnt able to be accessed and this shouldve been set in place and verified before the recording was allowed to be initiated. at least a text transcript or a backup in local storage shouldve been made. this is irresponsible user experience from a paid application knowing the use cases this app would be used for.

Not good.. I used for 10 calls. 2 calls didn't record at all. Others didn't get the whole recording. So glitchy. Plus calling out to another number first then having to merge is a pain. It should do that part automatically. Not renewing.

Doesn’t work. I would give this a zero if I could. I went ahead and purchased it only to realize it doesn’t work. The “add call” Is greyed out so I can’t record any incoming or outgoing calls. I would ask for a refund but apparently, they don’t give them. Maybe the developer can reach out to me and tell me how to fix this issue. That would be great.

Horrible transcription. Used to record a conversation with relatives. The transcription was a whole mess. Application could not differentiate between the voices and was not very accurate. Works great just to record. Should not offer transcription, though.

Access number not free outside US. This app is useless for me since I am not in the US (I live in Costa Rica) and do not want to pay long distance charges simply to connect to your recorder. At the very least you should add the capability to connect via VOIP like Skype for example. Otherwise you need to enable access numbers in other countries.

Complicated. Hard to use app and even incredibly harder to find where to cancel the automatic subscription

Doesn’t save recordings if you accidentally tab out. I accidentally tabbed out of a very important recording. I was nervous. The app did not save the recording. Huge disappointment. Ridiculous that I’m paying for something that doesn’t automatically save conversations when that’s it’s primary function.

No “Record” button. There is no “record” button on the phone menu, like they falsely advertise. You have to do a 3 way call with their service, which means they have a record of the call and are saving it to some type of database (since they are transcribing it, there has to be storage on their end). Very deceiving app and false advertising.

Only use if you’re recording a safe situation. You have to pay, and somehow this has bypassed a trial period so I just have a $50 charge and won’t be using the app. Because 2. I was trying to record my abuser and the app does state it’s a conference call. BUT WHAT I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT IF YOU ARE TRYING TO RECORD SOMEONE HARMING YOU Conferencing will ALERT THE OTHER PARTY It will also make obnoxious noises. False Advertising!!!. The tutorial shows two steps to record a call. You answer your incoming call, merge the calls and it starts recording. Not the case!! How it really works is - you answer the call, then bring up the app, call the assist number while the incoming call is on hold, wait for the assist number to answer, then merge the calls to record. Totally bogus.

It doesn’t record the call. I tested it with simple calls and it worked fine. When the the important call that needed to be recorded came in- the app didn’t record it. So 1 star for your poor quality of an app. Also- the stick a “one time offer” down your throat to rush you to spend money. For fall for it. The app is bad and doesn’t do the job.

I install the app, and now it’s blocking me from texting my friends. I would not recommend this app because there’s no way to get in contact with customer service of the page you’re supposed to sign up. Since I’ve had this app now I cannot contact about 30 to 70% of my friends through text message.

Delayed Showing. The app recorded my call, but I could not access or see the call recording until several hours later.

Why I love internet?. Because Apple, Microsoft, Google … all do have hard competition, also they are competing together and make the Intelligence Artificial anyway.

This is a joke. You have to call a separate number and merge the calls to record it. It doesn’t matter if it is outgoing or incoming. You still have to pause your current conversation, dial a second number, then merge the calls, then start recorded. That’s tooooooooooo many steps.

Call Recorder App. It glitches often. Hard to record at times and it won’t let you listen to recorded calls while app glitches. I’ve been being charged 7.99 a week for an app that works when it wants to. There is no customer service or any to recover what you have recorded. I wouldn’t recommend this app and I’ve been a customer for 6 months. Currently looking for a better recording app.

Predators. All of these companies switching to weekly charging at the same rates they used to charge monthly is disgusting. This countries in a Great Depression our sham media just won’t talk about, while these greedy disgusting companies engage in increasingly predatory pricing schemes. Weekly charging is a disgusting transition in a country who’s majority are struggling to just stay afloat, one star and may you get everything you deserve.

Pointless.. Annoying that apps aren’t even useable without attaching a payment method anymore. If it’s 3 days free trial, give the free trial. THEN ask for payment. Don’t just withhold the entire app until we pay for it. And SPECIFY that we can’t use your stupid app without paying for it from the get go, so we don’t waste time downloading. 🙄

can’t record a single call without subscription. what’s the use of downloading it free if a single call cant be downloaded for free? make it fully paid before downloading then people would not waste time. Every time I Use it to merge a call it says application error. Like the title of the review says, every time I use the merge call feature to record a phone call it says, “we’re sorry, and application error has occurred. Goodbye.” I paid 30 bucks for the year long subscription and the only reason I paid for the app does not work.

Doesn’t even let you try before subscribing.. One of those apps that counts on you subscribing for trial and forgetting to cancel so they can charge you for a few months before you realize and cancel. You have to subscribe first and then get 3 days trial. Call recorders are tricky apps and definitely need to be tested before purchase.

My calls weren’t recorded!. I saved all of my recordings on this app to support my divorce. I believed the recordings were there without any issues until now. When I went to retrieve them, there was nothing there. I am distraught. There is no phone number for this company. I emailed them, contacted Apple, and am currently awaiting a response.

Terrible. I placed an important call. I need to record the conversation. I did exactly like it said and it did not record my conversation. What a waste!!!

Worked but now all records lost. I downloaded the app and used it a few times. Now it is not saving my recordings and when I try to save it just says server failed. I needed what I recorded. Now everything I had is no longer showing. I have the app set to save to my iCloud Drive but can’t seem to locate files there either.

Not so seamless. Not as seamless as I had hoped - the person on the other line is interrupted as the access number connects - it’s too bad it’s not a one step deal - i.e., when one pushes record it connects and merges without interruption! Probably not possible, but that would be a game changer!

Unbelievable. I purchased this app for an upcoming court battle, I have a bunch of recording that I need for trial and one day POOF, they were all gone, missing, not stored on the cloud or my phone. I have contacted their “support” three times and no response, I have contacted apple which they were like “we don’t know how to get ahold of them either.” Seriously a waste.

Dont do it. I tried to use it more than once.. it will record a random portion of your convo.. not the convo from start to finish and you don’t know when its recording or not.. I was trying to record a call that lasted 17 minutes.. it picked up less than 2 minutes of the convo and the part it recorded I was actually on-hold!! So nothing useful got recorded…

try out. i've tried to use this app before because I thought it was cool. But it tells me that I have to pay nine dollars in weekly services. I think all of these iPhone apps are just looking for money to take advantage of you. The Bible clearly warns about this stuff. Do not be deceived. There are a lot of criminals out there looking for your financial gain. iPhone really needs to do a better job and cleaning up these outrageous apps.

Does not work. I trusted this application to record a very important conversation I was having. It was probably my fault for not being more thorough with my research on finding what are the best phone recording applications, but you can be rest assured that this application does not work as advertised. It only recorded seven minutes of my two hour long conversation.
