Not exactly a review. More of a suggestion for the January 2024 sets. Hey! Fellow coin collector here! I’m writing this to give suggestions for the January 2024 sets (if there are any at all). I was thinking of possibly having some new Luigi’s Mansion sets. Maybe inspired by some of the other games. (The library from dark moon) or ( the grand lobby from Luigi’s Mansion 3). I am also thinking on bringing Wario to the mix. You know how much he likes to make the big buck, and making Wario a thing could make you that big buck. You have a lot of fans LEGO. I’m so excited to see what you have in store in 2024!

Why do I have to download a 2gb app to build a set?!. I bought one of the sets because it looked cool and might as well. I come home and open it had no instructions. Whatever so I go to download the app, which is 2gbs. So I go to the lego instructions app which has all the instructions for their sets, and k see the same thing telling me to download this app. I am very annoyed that I have to download a 2gb app to build a set. And I go to the app and it's just an animated instruction manual that could have been on the other lego app. I hated the instructions, I would have just preferred a manual, digital at least. Just annoying that I cant use the other app to build any of the sets. Update: The website lead to the paper inside the box telling me that the free instructions are the Lego super Mario app. Not very useful.

Great game!. I bought Lego Mario about 3 years ago, and have been using it ever since! I don’t use it to often, but when I do it cheers me up! Even though I only have like one expansion set, I love it so so much! I have experienced NO BUGS for the 3 years I’ve used this app. Whenever younger/kids my age are coming over, we always play this! I definitely do recommend to buy Lego Mario. If you prefer to not use instructions to build on the app, you can just print it out online! So convenient for when I have free time! Maybe in the next update, you could add an AR feature in the app like LEGO TECHNIC AR, where you can add someone like toad, talk to your Lego Mario/Luigi/Peach. Brings back nostalgia every time; from the time I started playing, and to now! It may have took a long time for Lego Mario to release, but still was worth the wait! Kudos to you guys at the Lego Company. -Lizzy

We need the course ideas back and the preview courses on the start screen!!. Ok so I remember when before this new update it would show you all of the lego set you had and it would make tiny biomes for the sets you had and it was really cool seeing it when I opened the game. Okay next is the course. Ideas I think it was in the community post but it was screen shots of a random course based on what Lego sets you had it was fun I had a lot of time playing with it but really after this update now I have no imagination I don’t know what type of course to build so I don’t know what to do with Lego Mario Now okay well thanks for reading this even though the developer response is probably a bot

A new perspective on Lego building.. Edit: Issue was server related and has been fixed. Now that this is fixed, I must mention this app is pretty nice because you can rotate the 3D model and get a better perspective which paper instructions obviously cannot provide. Original Review: “The app is great... when it works. I went to build the new Lego Super Mario w/ Yoshi set with my daughter and we can’t get the app to work on both her iPad Mini and my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The fact that the Lego box itself doesn’t contain any instructions means that we cannot build our set. This is very disappointing. The app opens, I hit Start and it closes. This is with zero running background applications.”

What happened to this app?. I remember this app being cooler when it started. It would feature awesome course building ideas, I even took pictures of some to keep in mind. The app would showcase the expansion sets added into the main page of the app. It was really awesome whenever I add a set into the app, it would magically appear on the main page, and it was so cool to see. Now the main page of the app is just blank grassy plains, with a loading logo in the corner, where I think it was meant to give ideas on a course to build, but the problem is the course building doesn’t work every time I open the app. And now there are no course building ideas. I appreciate trying to change up the app, but I think the changes made hindered the playability of the app to the point where I only use it whenever new sets are released. I much prefer the way the app was before. I do hope this constructive feedback is taken into consideration; because I love LEGO Super Mario. I have waited since my childhood for something like this, and to finally see it become a reality is a childhood dream come true. I wish to see the LEGO Mario App be used at its full potential.

Update gave Mario a bug. The app it’s self is cool. My son like the building instruction and the map of his personal sets. There was an update that needed done and started automatically but after it loaded we are not able to connect our Mario to the app. We did EVERYTHING we could to restart or fix it. Nothing worked so we bought a new starter kit with a new Mario and tried setting it up. The app said the Mario needed an update (just like the first one) and did it automatically. AGAIN after the update our Mario still will not connect to the app to load the new sets or suites. My only conclusion is there is a bug in this app or upload that needs fixed. I’ve spent a lot of money and repurchased Mario’s and had the same issue, so it’s not the Mario. Please fix this so our Mario will work with the app again.

The bugs in the new app are not budging. LEGO please read this. Hey! Remember me? The person who says my LEGO Mario is busted? Well that LEGO Mario is history now. I just bought a new LEGO Mario and I went into the new app. And I noticed something really weird. When I connect Mario to Bluetooth, Mario looks down and the four dots that show that Bluetooth has connected to Mario, only three dots are filled. Then Mario freezes. His eyes freeze, the light at the bottom goes off, and the three filled dots freeze with only one dot yet to fill, and Mario is not connected although it makes the sound effect you hear to let you know that Mario is connected. I need a break. A broken LEGO Mario, now this. And if you ask, yes. I did try the pressing the Power and Bluetooth buttons and hold them for 10 sec method. And I also tried the Take off Mario’s torso method. And I couldn’t do a factory reset since Mario won’t connect to the app. Please send instructions.

I assume great. Ok so I have not tried the app because I do not have the sets but I see lots of potential. An idea for the sets is have one that has lots of enemies so we can design courses with enemies placed wherever and have a higher limit. It’s sort of like what you did with LEGO Minecraft. Maybe add more power ups like the boomerang suit, the superball flower, and maybe even the weird Mario power up (though that’ll be hard to design.) Incorparating Mario odyssey sets will definitely add some spice. The spiciest one would be the ruined dragon boss battle (why does it look like it’s from dark souls?) Anyhow I see potential as high so keep building up these sets for all their worth.

Best Thing Ever!. I had first received a Lego Super Mario set as a present, and I had loved the series from day 1. Couple years later, and you guys still haven’t disappointed me yet. I’ve got all the characters, a nice handful of sets, and have plans to get more in the future. There’s not too many problems with them either, but few still isn’t zero. It’s mainly just some of the tags on the enemies, like how the Poison Mushroom tag, and the Parachute Goomba tag aren’t being read, they don’t register on any of the 3 electronic figures. And for some fathomable reason, every time Mario, Luigi, or Peach step on the Bowser Jr. tag, it starts the airship’s driving feature? Those are just the ones I have, but there might be some others. I’d love to see these get fixed in the near future, but other than that, keep up the great work Lego! 👍

App ok but logging in makes it not work, missing some expected features. Being logged in to my Lego account when I open the app makes the Start pipe text turn to a few dots, and tapping it does nothing. I have to log out of my account to be able to “Start” the app. Logging in after I’ve done that seems to work, in terms of being able to connect to the Lego Mario toy and use other features, but when I log in it puts me back at zero coins instead of loading my history, so that part can be pretty frustrating. It doesn’t seem like it’s doing what it’s supposed to. Other than that the app has useful features, like the instructions and the randomiser. People should be told that the instructions don’t give you a complete walkthrough of a setup, just how to assemble separate components. Some personality types may be frustrated that the instructions don’t get them to what’s pictured on the box. One feature I liked is being able to name and save your adventures/levels, but I expected to be able to select them again in the future when we build the same thing. I couldn’t find a way to do that. All in all, the app is useful, but in terms of game play, it adds more frustration than usefulness, compared to just playing with the Lego Mario toy with the set.

Love the sets, app can use work. Edit; Update We still hate the level mixer. Change it back to where it showed all the sets on the screen. Lego super Mario sets are great. My 5yr old loves them and they are rather fun to play with him. However he (and I) both don’t care for the new Home Screen. He loved how it was before where he could see all the sets he had laid out on the Home Screen. They each had their own little theme and he could scroll around and see them. Now they have where little bits from different sets line up in a row and never does it actually show the whole sets. He has to go to the instructions page to see what sets he has. We both really enjoyed look at the older Home Screen compared to the new one. The new one is just boring.

GamerJake29 (Please read🙃). I am a very huge Super Mario fan and I have always have been a fan of Mario and when I got a super Mario Lego set I was so excited and when I heard there was an app and games you could play I was so excited but that wasn’t the best part because that part was that you can make your own level and show it to other people. I also have some ideas I would like to talk about to at least add and those ideas are things such as to add a little bit more of some mini games and that you can join your friend and build and create stuff together but overall I love this app and I really appreciate that you made this app thank you and have a great rest of your day

My LEGO Mario STILL ISN’T WORKING!. I know other people have been experiencing this exact same problem of the Mario getting frozen or Bluetooth not working or something like that. I’ve tried everything to get my LEGO Mario to stop freezing up, but nothing works. Even the app update doesn’t help. When I cut the Mario on, he starts with his usual:” Lego Mario Time!” But when I try to connect it to Bluetooth (which is enabled for the app, by the way.) to play a play challenge or build a set, it tells me LEGO Mario is connected, but then his screen freezes up on the four complete loading dots and then says it’s disconnected. I don’t know if the update isn’t working, if it’s just a simple bug, or I just flat out broke my LEGO Mario. I would love to hear your feedback on this and I guarantee many other people would too.

Do you like my set ideas?. Hello again Lego group! I don’t know how to make set ideas and show them to you. I need all the help I can get to make my Lego Super Mario set dreams come true. (Also by the way in one of my set ideas Meowser’s Highway the Bowser Car is the same from Super Mario 3D World just to let you know) So yeah I just wanted to say that my app is fine. I just wanted to tell Please help make these dreams of mine into real sets. And for now let’s talk about Lego Daisy. We NEED Lego Daisy. The starter course would have Daisy, Orange Yoshi, Para Goomba, and Lakithunder. It has a start pipe, goal pole, and a question mark block covered in sand. And it has a seesaw,a a para Goomba to launch at lakithunder, and slopes to slide on. And just to let you know these are not real sets including the four I talked in my last letter…….yet. Hopefully they will become true Lego mario sets. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thank you Lego Group! I will keep enjoying Lego Super Mario! And also I have no problems with the app.

Amazing products but has some problems with the app. I love this I have a lot of sets and just got lego Luigi it’s amazing but the app the building is so easy but when I scan my sets it doesn’t show so it only thinks I have super lego Mario and super lego Luigi. Also there is a little problem hooking them up more than half on the time when I’m trying to connect them I have to shut my phone all the way off and then back on and half of the time it still doesn't work. From the positive point of view amazing but they should add character like donkey Kong or the princess and more of Mario’s friends. Also you could add a Luigi Polly buster as an attachment since Mario has all of these power ups If the developers could fix it this would be awesome and would give this a 10/10 since I already spend hours playing these thank you

Great app and love the Mario sets!. I went crazy and have collected almost all of the sets (I have a problem, lol) but I love the interactivity of the LEGO. The app has been great, I personally like the digital instructions and having the 3D model to rotate around. I also really like the weekly challenges that they have and that we can share photos of our creations. But things that would be great if they add or change with a future update would be options for comments on shared photos (friendly of course), maybe even a way to follow favorite builders posts. I have to agree with others on how much it drains the battery on my iPad though. It also would be great if the app is synced across all devices so I don’t need to scan on each separate one. I think if there’s also a way to customize the 3D world that our sets pop up in after scanning would be cool. Again, I’m not sure if it’s doable, but in the 3D world if it can be laid out in a way we customized it, maybe by photo? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Other than that, this whole experience is super fun!

Can’t even try it to review it. We purchased sets for our children and the app closes as soon as we tap “start. Sometimes we get a faint preview of the map area before it closes, but that’s the farthest we can get. Yes, we have deleted and downloaded the app again (three times.) We have force closed it. We have tried connecting by the internet (two different connections) as well as cellular service. We have created a login hoping that would help us advance. And we have had the same issue on four fairly new, up-to-date Apple devices, all of which are fully compatible according to the device guidelines. Thankful for the pdf instructions to build pieces, but we liked the idea of the connectivity of the map and it feels like a waste to purchase something you can’t use fully. Perhaps offering a website ability for the gameplay so that it can be played via a browser would be helpful? We’ll try again tomorrow like we have every day this week.

great app. great app I use it on my mom's ipad. I do, however, have one major problem with the app, and that is the lack of options. Ya see, with lego mario you only get 60 seconds with no way to change it, or any other things like what comes out of ? blocks. I only care about changing the time, and think we should be able to make anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, and also an option to turn off the time limit entirely. It would also be nice to change the odds of what you get in ? blocks too, but I only really care about the time issue. other than that, GREAT APP!!!

Good, but crashes. This app is great, but when I try to connect LEGO Mario to the app or try to build something, the app crashes and takes me out of the app. Can you please fix this crash? Edit: After reinstalling the app, it stopped crashing. This goes up to 5 stars. Edit: After uploading adventures to the LEGO Mario and Luigi figures, when I connect them to the app, they automatically disconnect from the app. Are there any possible ways to fix this? Edit: After factory resetting my Lego Mario and updating it, it stopped disconnecting from the app.

Good app but.... We all love Mario and we all love LEGO but this app needs some work. problem one: online content. it’s not that I think anything’s inappropriate but it’s so annoying that you have to sign in to LEGO instead of just using it with your Nintendo account more people have Nintendo accounts then they do LEGO accounts I mean this is Mario right not the LEGO movie 2 movie maker. Problem two: not enough battery space. When we got this Mario set in the mail today and no this is not a review from aug 1st as soon as we turned the mario on he worked but when we downloaded this app the toy was already at 98% we do not want to have to give him new batteries every day. But other than that it awesome 😎 app 99% would recommend. -Arthur

Mario keeps crashing. First of all, I really strongly enjoy the lego mario sets, and I love building these sets and playing them out. However, as of the most recent update, I can’t get mario to connect to my tablet nor my phone. Any time I attempt to connect, after pressing the blutooth button on mario, he makes a noise and his screen shows the 4 dots like normal, but then all of a sudden, he freezes. Mario’s screen won’t change, he won’t make noise, and he can’t even be turned off with the power button. The only rhing I can do is remove the batteries to reset him, and I can bo longer connect him to my Ipad. The same issue happens when I try to connect bim to my phone. Before I updated mario this morning, He connected just fine, but afterward, he continues to crash every time. I would appreciate if you could fix this bug please. Otherwise, this is a great app, othee than this detrimental glitch.

Update caused mario to not work properly. I opened the app on a few weeks ago but when it said mario needed an update, mario didn’t reconnect and now he is stuck in this Bluetooth phase. Now when I turn on mario he doesn’t say “lego mario time!” And the light at the bottom flashes for a second but doesn’t stay on. Also mario always has the flashing Bluetooth logo on his chest when I turn him on. I tried holding both buttons on him for ten seconds, didn’t work. I tried resetting my Bluetooth in my app settings for 5 seconds, didn’t work. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, didn’t work. I tried restarting my phone, closing other apps, taking mario’s batteries out, logging in and out of my lego account, nothing works. Even changing power up packs. Nothing works. Also when i try to update mario again, he crashes and the update doesn’t finish. And when i try to connect mario to the app, he connects without even touching anything and mario’s screen doesn’t change. I dont want to have to buy a new one because im broke, is there anything else i could do?

The app needs to be fixed ASAP (Don’t give a answer bot response). It seems I’m not the only one who is having problems with Lego Mario. Lego Mario will not update. When I try it says an error occurred. When I turn it on all it shows is the connect Bluetooth screen and Mario is looking at it gritting his teeth. Like he’s gonna kill someone. He doesn’t say lego Mario time for some reason and when I turned it off it turns off without saying see you later. It’s quite terrifying. I don’t like that the sets don’t appear anymore when you scan them. Nothing works. No goomba stomping no yoshi talking no bowser clomping no nothing. The connect lego Mario screen is quite buggy as well. I have only had one other time that an app was this buggy. It needs to be fixed. The only reason that it’s not one star is because it’s a huge glitch and the app itself is great. Plx fix

Great!…….when it actually works.. This app is becoming extremely frustrating. It worked great for awhile. Then I have no idea what happened. All my sons sets disappeared and nothing wants to scan back in. I’ve tried EVERYTHING! Deleting and re-installing the app. Resetting Mario. Resetting all the sets. Turning on and off Bluetooth. Nothing is working!!!!! The sets won’t scan back in. There is only one set when we open the app and it is in a straight line not the usual layout. Please fix this!!!!!! Legos are the only thing my autistic child is interested in right now and they are helping him so much with being verbal and narrating things and helping him with his dexterity. Please. Please. Please fix this.

Used to work Great!. This app used to be fully functional on my iPad Air 2. We could see my sons digital collection and everything ran smoothly. Now after a few updates, it’s super LAGGY & Glitchy and we can no longer see my sons digital collection. Like NONE OF IT. Why can’t things just WORK? It’s crazy how they don’t keep up with older systems. I have a feeling that most of us will get left behind in a push by the establishment to keep us buying new technology every year. I for one am tired of this! I would like to continue to use what I have but it seems that as they upgrade it’s only made to fix problems for people with newer products. It’s rather frustrating! How hard can it possibly be to allow the older systems to be functional? An iPad Air 2 should still be allowed to be used and function properly. We are using 14.4.2 version. If this can be resolved for people like us that don’t toss out their technology every year that would be great! Otherwise it would be nice to just get the paper build instructions for mario lego sets if they can’t resolve issues for everyone across all platforms.

Well, Batteries wont do the trick... I gotten my first lego mario set 2 or 1 year ago, It was cool and i used the app to build it, My first experience was amazing! And it never left my mind. (Well.. Maybe it did?) My Lego Mario works perfectly fine, But the app keeps on resetting myself before I could touch one of the buttons, So I used a different device and it worked! But when I went to go activate it, it wouldn’t work! I think it said I needed to recharge the batteries. And this is present day, The day I posted this. I wake up and look at my Lego Mario Set, Thats when it hit me. “Should I get a new lego set?”, So I went and gotten 2 lego sets from target The first one had instructions on its own, but the second I needed the app, So I went to use the app but it shutdown on me.. 6 times! (the 4th turned my device off i think..), Once I finally make it through, i try connecting my lego mario again, It makes it through without any errors! But it said I needed batteries which was odd.. I had just put batteries in. I try another but it wouldn’t work so now I’m just waiting a bit while writing this review. Overall this is a great app and I suggest it if you dont want to try and fix it by yourself, I also like the challenges you announce! You developers stay safe out there!

My kids ❤️ Mario. I think this is one of the easiest apps to navigate. The instructions are step by step and show you exactly which pieces you need and where they go I find it much easier than flipping through a book. My 4 year old loves putting the sets together and they are so easy for him to follow and if he gets a little confused where they go you can move the pic around to see exactly where it goes. And if something breaks all you have to do is go on your phone not try to find the instructions. I do wish they would come out with some more interactive games or something like that on the app, I feel like younger kids would really love this.

Awesome but one suggestion. The lego Mario app is awesome but two things. First, I asked a while ago when there was the course builder if you could change it back to when I could see all my sets in the main screen. I almost got what I wanted but what I really wanted was when the set was on like a little island and there was movement around the set and stuff like the hawks that would swirl around the desert and the bubbles in the poison I loved that, will you bring it back in the next update? Second, the challenges like the chain chomp jump. You haven’t added any more yet in a while even though it says more are coming soon, will you please add more? Thanks! P.S. Why didn’t you add another interactive character this year? I love seeing new interactive characters and they usually come out August but this time it was just donkey Kong please add another one this January. (2023 review)

Great toys, app needs attention. My son and I have built almost every Lego super Mario set. Literally. These toys are absolutely wonderful. Every time we get a new set the old ones come back out and provide hours of great, fun, imaginative play. My son really loves that the instructions are on the app. When new sets are released he goes through the instructions over and over so that, by the time his birthday rolls around and he gets a new set, he is already quite familiar with the build. The problem is that it is often really hard to connect Mario and Luigi to the phone. I have an iPhone XR, and it has no problem connecting to Bluetooth devices routinely. But, especially when it is time to update the firmware on Mario and Luigi, they won’t connect to the app, or, they’ll connect but they won’t complete their updates. My son actually hates to “scan” in a new set because connecting Mario or Luigi is so often a cause for significant delays. I hoped that Lego would have sorted this out by now, but it seems not to be so. I suppose they will keep getting my money, and the money of my friends and family, because these toys are awesome. But I hope they fix the issues with the connection soon! Frustrated dad

Works Well But We Miss The Collection Display. My son and I enjoy the app and it works well but to get 5 stars from us you would need to bring back displaying the sets we have collected. My son was always excited to see the new one pop up after we scanned it. The replacement feature feels like a cheap replacement that we rarely use due to the boring levels suggestions it gives. I will say that my drive to buy my sets to complete my son’s collection have gone down after that feature was removed with no reason given. I hoped to see it come back but I believe it has been close to a year since it was removed.

Fantastico!!!!. As you can seen from the title, I have high opinions of this app. I think it’s fantastic that you can connect the Mario and Luigi figs to your phone for more interactive play. You are also able to view the components in an alterable 3D view(nice touch lego, as alway you guys are ———ing geniuses). I love how you can also view the different sets to see how they work, so that you don’t have to depend on online reviews. The only things I have against this app is that it needs to feature more fun features, the figs should come updated so you don’t need to update them upon receiving them, and you should earn rewards for the sets you have since the app is able to tell which you have.

App crashes. At first everything was great when I first got the Mario starter kit with other sets to connect, 2 weeks ago when trying to connect Mario to the app it said he needed an upgrade so I did that and now he won’t connect back to the app. I also got the Luigi starter kit yesterday and he also won’t connect to the app. The app says it upgraded “both” of them but they won’t connect and the app crashes immediately after I can’t see any pictures it’s just boxes everywhere. I’m still happy that Mario and Luigi are working without the app but it would be awesome if they had their own profile to collect their coins etc. Please fix this! My son loves to use the app and is pretty disappointed it isn’t working properly.

App Crashes - Does Not Work. Leaving a 1 Star review as a placeholder. I want to say 1st and foremost that we love LEGO products. My son and I love building sets together. But.... the new Mario Starter Kit App is not working. Very disappointing for an 8 year old who just got 3 of the sets for Christmas and cannot build them or sync to the app. There were a lot of tears tonight between getting the App downloaded and having it crash every time you connect Mario then click start. On top of that the Starter kit was missing a lot of parts and the set is sold out mostly everywhere. Trying to get parts shipped from Lego also takes weeks so that won’t be an option. I figured out the only workaround to get the app not to crash is to turn off WiFi and Cellular Data. You have to put it in Airplane mode and then it won’t crash. It will tell you that you are not connected to the internet when you use this workaround. This is how we got the building instructions and realized the set was missing a lot of pieces. I have no apps running in the background and also have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. I work in IT so I know the ins and outs of these devices and IoT. Hopefully Lego developers are reading these posts so they can fix the app. It is not only on an iPad but iPhone also ( I have a new iPad and use an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 14.3). Once app is fixed, I will update my review.

Lego Mario is great! But he has some errors.. Lego super Mario is a great game and has a great app, but he has 2 errors. One happened two months ago, and the other happened today. The first one is his eyes animations are having errors like when he has x eyes, instead he has happy eyes. I did fix the error but another happened today. When Mario falls he says, “Oof!” And his eyes are shut for a second. But in the series 2 update, Mario’s eyes don’t shut. Is this an error or a mistake in the update? Then his mouth was frozen after making him dizzy by shaking him, but then his mouth was frozen after he got dizzy. I did fix that error except the not shut eyes error. Please fix all of these errors! I don’t want Mario having an error again! ☹️

PLEASE Bring Back the Old Set View. My son used to LOVE browsing through the little world created by all the sets we’ve collected. He’d literally just sit there looking at them and enjoying them all. Can you please, please bring that feature back? The new thing that makes a random path is also nice, but it’s not the same for him. It’s also very buggy, it seems like it can take up to several minutes for it to refresh (why??). So he does enjoy it, but it’s kind of frustrating since he really likes refreshing it to see what he gets. The app is a very fun way to build and explore your sets, but I don’t understand why you had to remove such a basic feature as seeing all the sets laid out in the world. Having a visual representation of the collection was super great.. and a nice motivator to keep buying sets, seems like it’d be in your best interest to bring it back! And I do know you can see the sets you’ve collected in the instructions views, but it’s not the same. He enjoyed seeing them displayed in the world… was it perhaps too onerous to continue making those dioramas as new sets come out? It seems like it shouldn’t be *too* much effort above whatever is required to make the path-builder work. Thank you for reading!

Fun App with Update Problems. This is a great app that is required in order to build most LEGO Mario sets (that don’t include paper instructions). The instructions work well, and it’s great to see the collection in one place. Unfortunately, the recent updates have made the app quite a bit worse. It used to have a great screen that would pop up with small dioramas of all your collected sets together. My son and I both loved seeing them pop up when scanned, and the new mechanic to show example levels with your sets is slow and seems to only make pretty uninspired, straight level designs. I’d love to see the old collection screen come back. Finally, the new updates have also introduced some pretty significant bugs and problems with the app. We are no longer able to get Mario to connect via Bluetooth (even after turning off/on Bluetooth). Our new Luigi has never been able to connect. It also introduced frequent visual bugs in the instructions such as slightly distorted or sometimes even completely invisible LEGO pieces. I hope that they’re able to work out all these bugs soon, because we love the sets.

Lego Luigi without Lego Mario. Is this game is very good you got a try it and I’ll lady fell down Loopsy Loopsy it double Loopsy Loopsy Loopsy whips he would see OK it’s OK now it’s OK it’s OK it’s OK it’s OK do you know like a Ouija is my favorite character and he saying I am tired it’s silly Lilly do you Lego Mario Wii she has he has he has hang on hang on hang on hang on I miss you I know I’m not saying I miss you I’m saying Lego Mario had an issue he wouldn’t want to connect and Lego Lil Uzi spinning aroundYou I know and Yoshi is my favorite character and he’s tapping on here OK I broke his head off silly me is if you like Yoshi give me a comment section below before I break I’m a go break snap bricks not break snack break snack breaks now he’s kind of like a break and snap toy but it’s kind of cool I’m gonna can you just get out Lego peach

The updates always seems to make things worse.. It used to work great until they updated it. Since the update it has been very difficult to get Mario connected via bluetooth. The app itself doesn’t appear to work correctly as the Home Screen more about adds than anything else. Mine used to show off all the sets I owned and when adding a new set would have a fun little animation. Now I add a set and I’m not actually sure if it’s really been added, the main screen shows random sections of sets sort of strung together, none of which makes any sense. I hope they fix it soon and might be worth spending a little extra time making sure the next update is right before applying it to the masses…

Do research before you buy.. I love the sets and I have the starter pack, Bowsers castle (super awesome) the Yoshi And Monty mole expansions. I do wish that they provided an instruction booklet with the sets so my sons would not have to use our phones or devices. We use Legos as a family distraction from devices and my kids have a dedicated playroom pretty much solely dedicated to their legos. I’m hoping that lego and Nintendo collaborate on a Lego/Mario Cart Live version (as a side note) I also wish they would launch a Luigi and Princess expansion. The app needs a little work and building sets is a little more work without the booklets. I definitely would not recommend for parents wanting their kids to unplug and for the littles you have to be with them pretty much the whole time to halo them navigate the app to build.

I am not able to get in to the app.. When I go to use the lego Mario app it will show a loading icon and then as it is supposed to it shows me the start button, here is where the problem happens, It gives me a black screen and then kicks me out. I have tried closing the app and getting back on along with deleting the app, restarting, and then downloading it, and then just restarting and getting back on but nothing will work. That is really the only problem besides me rarely not being able to access instructions (which I have fixed so do not worry). I would love to tell you I like it but I can not get in. The problem has been fixed, Thank You so much!

What happened to the dioramas?. Up until the last couple of patches, my son and I have loved this app. We’ve collected almost all of the first two waves of the lego Mario sets. His favorite part of the experience has been coming home and scanning the set after being built so he could see the diorama that would pop up on screen. Now that experience is gone. He’s no longer near as excited to buy the next wave of toys. I told him maybe they will patch that back in but it has yet to happen. He asks daily if they have “fixed” the app yet and unfortunately I have to keep giving the bad news. If this was still available the app would definitely get 5 stars.

The App Is Great But Theres Several New Bugs. The App Is Really Good!!! I Like It The Previous Updates Were Bugless, But Now I Can’t Access All My Pictures! And I Cant Exit My Pictures And I’ll Have To Leave The Game.. Pls Fix These… NOW. And It Will Be Better Edit For Newer Update: This New Update Is Fine There’s No More Bigs But I Can’t Put A Caption On My pictures And My Sets Look Like They’re All Gone! (Actaully I can put a caption on there so it’s ok) And Also As You May Have Noticed By My Moms Emails To Lego, One Of My Mario’s Are Frozen into The Downlaoding Thing. I’ve Tried Every Single Thing But It Did Not Work. Luckily Thanks To My Aunt, A few months before that happened she got me a lego Mario set on Valentine’s Day. And I can still play lego Mario. Overall sometimes I might have to connect my Valentine’s Day mario to my ipad but I don’t wanna do that cuase im afraid that it might end up like my Christmas Mario (the first one) but yeah good app still (edit) TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY PARTY AND I GOT BOWSERS AIRSHIP 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Frustrated parent. I got my son the Mario legos not knowing all the instructions were on the app. Spent a day downloading the app which was the start of my frustration as it took longer than expected to download and my 5 yr old had to wait. Once the app was finally ready it was very easy to use. My son was able to figure it out and had a blast making his legos. However I tried yesterday multiple times throughout the day to open it for my son to work on another set and the app kept shutting down. It would never stay open for longer than 3 seconds. My son and I were sad because we wanted to build all night for New Year’s Eve. Tried again this morning and the app won’t open. This is very frustrating and I don’t understand why it doesn’t work anymore.

Update - app is working again, happy kid. App is fixed and it's pretty cool to have the 3D version of the build instructions. Christmas gifts are working finally! Original review: Bought my son a bunch of Lego Mario kits for Christmas as he's a huge fan. The kits don't come with build instructions as you're supposed to do it in the app. After syncing the app with Lego Mario and installing the required update, now whenever the app is opened it crashes out and it's not possible to get to the build instructions nor anything else. Tried multiple app reinstalls and multiple supported devices, all without success. Just a pile of unusable bricks at this point.

Can and will rate 5/5!. Hello! I am a very good Lego builder. I have built probably over 500 (if not more), and I also love Mario. I play the video games for him a lot, including super Mario odyssey. So, when I first heard about it on a commercial, I was so excited and I asked my mom if we could get it. Well, the day I got it was Christmas, a gift from Santa. I set part of my day to just building that, and let me tell you; IT. WAS. BREATHTAKING. I got the app for it (and got it for my phone too) and the instructions were so clear. Exactly like the instructions on paper, with 3D photos, but on a screen. So I got Mario is batteries and set him up. I felt amazed on what he could do! Recognize colors, do sound effects, and everything else in between! So, I was so excited about that, I got more expansion sets. Same quality, beautiful way of scanning, and interactive. I saw more, like challenges and videos. And, I update very often, like it is automatic. Literally. Then, a couple months later, their is a LEGO LUIGI!!! I was surprised and my emotions were all over the place. My mom preordered it, and I got it August 2nd or something like that. I got even more sets for Christmas, more expansion sets. I hope you guys keep up whatever you are doing, because I love this, and everyone around the world will. And make sure you keep us up to date! (And if you can, even make us a Lego Princess Peach for us the save. Lol.)

Crashes, lost data, and video lag. The app sometimes crashes when finishing a step, but the video demos are the worst. I can stream Netflix or HD video, but a 15 second clip of a toy freezes or loses frames and doesn’t playback smoothly even once. Sometimes the app crashes after completing a step. Also, the sets I bought just plain don’t show up. I don’t know if this feature was removed, the data was lost in an update, or what. This points to the app integration being more trouble than it’s worth. I can’t build until I’ve charged my iPad, updated the app, and installed the Mario/Luigi firmware. Just get out of the way and let me build.

Three reasons this is seems wrong. This is not hate but I have the sumo tower but I didn’t realize that it did not came with a lego Mario (I wanted Luigi he my fav) but the thing is does the starter pack have to be expensive like it’s not hate but you buy it you have to buy batteries and the starter pack only comes with a few things 2.if you get a lego Luigi then try to connect it to the app and you don’t have a lego Mario does it need you to get a lego Mario first? 3.is there going to be more characters in the future that are playable like example In new super Mario bros wii there was yellow and blue toad (well blue toad is in a set not playable but you get it right RIGHT!? AHHH) but maybe it will be fun :)

Like it, but why are you forced to use an app?!. I like the concept of using apps to build Lego sets, but there is one major flaw with this: there isn’t a physical option for this. Whenever I build a new Lego set I get for Christmas, I like listening to music or watching things on my phone while I build. The app plays really, stupidly annoying music in the background and I can’t figure out where or how to turn it off. I would love these sets way more if it just came with a traditional book that actually tells me how to build it. EVERYTIME I open the app it asks for my age. Overall, I think this app has some dumb problems that could just be so easily fixed.

Pretty Cool App & Birthday Present Ideas!. This App is pretty cool I’ve gotta say! The Sets I have in the game are… - LEGO Luigi Starter Course - Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge - Lakitu Sky World - Reznor Knockdown (I haven’t put it on the game yet) Then there are some sets that I have gotten, but I have took them apart, and put them in my LEGO box. - LEGO Mario Starter Course - Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter - Super Mushroom Surprise - Guarded Fortress - Whomp’s Lava Trouble - Desert Pokey Then this is a set that I haven’t opened yet. - Bee Mario Power Up Pack Here are some figures that I got from Blind Bags. Series 1 - Urchin Series 2 - Bone Goomba - Huckit Crab Series 3 - Galoomba Series 4 - Para Biddybud - Freezie - Goombrat - Bully - Stingby - Baby Penguin - Ant Trooper Now I need to tell you something. When I first showed my little sister, Lila, a Trailer for the new LEGO Peach Starter Course and new sets, she was super excited. So I planned to get her some LEGO Mario sets for her birthday. Which is coming up. I’m planning to get her… - LEGO Peach Starter Course - Yoshi’s Gift House I hope she’ll LOVE them!😍😍😍😍😍

Weird thing. So basically this is the best invention ever but one problem. If you buy the expansion course with whomp in it, in the tutorial on defeating whomp it shows it is 7 hits to defeat whomp but for me it is just 6 and I’m actually kinda confused why it takes 7 in the tutorial but in reality it is just 6 hits.

Map creations not showing. The map of all my purchases / creations is not showing after the most recent update. Each set / character I have bought is ticked green but not showing on the map - probably the most exciting thing about the app for my 5 yr old.

No problems until now. I keep opening and closing the app but every time I want to open something is just kicks me out of the app :( Other than that, the app I amazing🤩🙂

Love the toy, however.... What kind of imbeciles wouldn’t put instructions in the box. The app is currently broken and so now I have been left to trawl the internet for instructions for this fiddly mess. Be better. Have the videos available online. The pdf download is a joke. Once more, be better.

Amazing fun but keeps crashing. This game is really fun but when I try to turn the app on it crashes.I even tried on another phone and it didn’t work. Just started happening recently. I think it needs a new update. This is fixed now. Thanks.

Great, but one small niggle.. The sets are great, the app is a really good accompaniment. But one small inconvenience has cropped up: The younger of our pair of Mario fans has added a bunch of sets to the map that we don’t own, and that has upset the elder. Would be great to be able to easily edit sets on the map to move/remove. Otherwise excellent.

Good when its not crashing all the time. Love the lego Mario series. When the app works its great, but unfortunately it keeps crashing every so often. I run a 1st Gen iPad Air so should really be good enough to run the app. I always get crashes when instructions are loading or after a course is completed. Would be 5/5 if it didn’t crash so much. Hope they fix these issues on older iPads soon.

Lego Mario app 👍👍👍😁😁😁. I think that this is a really good app which goes well with some really cool Lego sets. The only thing I would want to see added in future is some video games to play on the app, and maybe a feature that lets you build digital courses using bricks available in the Mario Lego sets, then somehow use Augmented Reality to let you play on them (a bit like Super Mario Maker but for the Lego version). Overall I really love this app, and I can’t wait for Lego Luigi!

False ads. I love the game and I have almost all the sets i think it’s great 1 but I have noticed if you turn on ghost view the game freezes. The most important part about this review is the fact that in the pictures of this app on the AppStore it has a photo of someone’s course BUT I’m the app it didn’t have that mechanic in the game anyway I’d love you to reply thanks for this so much bye -from William👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Bring back old map. Please bring back the old option so we can see all our sets on the map. My kids miss being able to see it and lay it out as it was on there as they like following it and making it the same

Can’t find my mario. I cant find my mario. We moved somewhere and Yes we did bring our mario to move with us, but somehow Mario went lost and can’t find him, can you add an Mario finder/tractor? It would help. -by Abdul Haddi

What I was thinking about getting for my birthday. I was thinking about getting a lego princess peach because of the fruits and I can finally play 2 player

Great but one problem. What do you mean brand new Home Screen:we’ve made it super easy for you to find instructions and how-to videos directly from the building instructions catalogue and one more question what is that button that looks like a catalogue?

Really good, but i got a suggestion. I really love the game. It is super epic and i am obsessed with it! But i have a suggestion: Please add a setting button where you can change the timer for custom maps! I was thinking about creating a new map for my penguin mario, but then i realised the timer would be too short. Please plan on adding that and make the max amount at least 4 minutes.

Impossible to find building instructions. Why does LEGO not put building instructions into the kit? Very inconvenient. Worse, I can find building instructions for all sorts of extension packs in the app, but not for the base pack. Instead, there are nonsensical features in the app like to share your creation. I am surprised that LEGO has released the app in its current form. This needs a lot of work and in particular be made much more accessible for parents.

Issue resolved. Had an issue with the app crashing. Was fixed by the end of the day and had a response from the developer. Thanks

Very cool app.. Thank you for the response. Clearly my old iPad is not compatible but it works perfect now that I downloaded it on my iPhone instead. My son is having a great time with these sets and can’t wait for Christmas when he hopes to get more super Mario lego.

Great app but…. This app is FANTASTIC!!! The graphics are really good and I like the music in the background. There’s only one thing. What about the people who want to build LEGO Super Mario, but they don’t have a smart device? I hope you can find a way for those people to have fun building LEGO Super Mario, LEGO Luigi and LEGO Princess Peach. Kind Regards

I love this, but..... Hi i love the lego mario but theres just one error, Mario’s facial features are incorrect. Like the hurt eyes after mario is pushed over, its his happy closed eye (i dont know what they’re called) and when he burns his eyes aren’t X’s, they’re partly closed and after he’s done burning then his eyes turn into X’s. So please fix this. Other than that its great!

Mario and Luigi Keep on Freezing and my lego sets don’t show up. When i try to connect my Mario to the app, he freezes. When he freezes i can not turn him off and he will not make sounds or react to anything. After a few minutes he will turn himself off. Also the new way to connect Mario is a bit confusing. Also when i go to the tab in the middle left corner it is supposed to show my lego sets but it is empty even though it knows i have built it. I would really appreciate it if someone from customer service would respond and help me out. Edit: i have just got LEGO Luigi but i cant connect him either. I tried resetting bluetooth, it worked for Mario but not Luigi. I tried again a few times but it didn't work. I cant turn off Luigi either and he turns himself off after about 7 minutes. I cant continue building the set until this is fixed. I wrote the edit on the day i updated the app after the Luigi update. Thank You

App crashing. App is generally pretty good. Would be good to add functionality which allows easy editing/removing of sets from the map. Was using the app (this morning) without issue on an iPad Pro running iPadOS 14.3. However, after updating the app today to version 1.3.9 it now won’t start up properly and just crashes after selecting the green “Start!” pipe (on the first startup screen of app). No other apps are running in the background either.

Really good but. When I try connecting both they both lose connection almost immediately. please fix this

Best Mario app yet!. This is the best app allowing you to connect Mario to the app and save your courses on the app. Plus there are fun challenges to play if you have the app. And(because of the recent update), you can now connect two Mario’s, two luigi’s and 1 Luigi and Mario lego figure which allows for multiplayer. Best collaboration yet lego and Nintendo. Keep up the awesome apps

Really like it exept for one thing. I liked playing with lego Luigi even more after I got this but I have one problem. THERE SAID MORE CHALLENGES COMING BUT THERE STILL ISN'T ANYMORE CHALLENGES. But other than that I think you should get it.(Nintendo I rlly hope u can make more challenges because I and a lot of people would be thankful.

It’s amazing 🤩. This app is amazing and my lil bro loves it but there are sometimes glitches and once I played the challenge and there wasn’t anymore just like ‘I’m a gamer ok’ said I would like some more challenges if anyone knows the answer to this pls let me know! Thanks ~ Addi De’melio NOT RELATED TO CHARLI STOP HATING ON ME IT IS MY NAME STUPID

Cool game. I love it but I just think it would make it better if you were able to put challenges on it like a certain amount of coins but still so cool

Good app when its not glitchy and when it doesn’t crash. When i go into the app it just takes me out of the app and it is not the ipad because i have tried it on lots of different devices. Its really good at teaching you how to bild lego but it is really glity. Now i can’t bild the amazing lego because of the app. Please fix it people who made the app, because im sad that i can’t bild my lego.

BEST GAME EVER📱🏆🥇. Lego Mario and Luigi are going so good that I am having no problems at all. HOLD UP. I wanted to ask if you can fix my lego Mario screen or lcd. If no I will still play with him. Peach i don’t have but I have Mario and Luigi. I love your lego Mario app.

I Love LEGO Super Mario😊👍. Best LEGO franchise ever! I’m a big Mario aka Nintendo fan and a LEGO fan. This app is indeed very cool and useful for building and it gives you challenges which I love the most🤩 I want to wish LEGO the best of luck in the future and I can’t wait for more Lego Mario sets in the future. Dear LEGO, Thank you for making this app really good and I can’t wait to see what you will do in the future with this app. Good Luck 😉

Crashes constantly. Great concept, but app constantly crashes. We have the app installed on multiple iPads and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times but still the app keeps shutting down. This issue seems to have only started once we created a lego account and login to the app with this account. Also when the app syncs on different iPads, new expansion sets are randomly added to the world, which we don’t own and have never scanned into the world. Please fix, if these issues can be fixed then the app will be perfect!

The Bug Is Still here. Yeah hi again. You know that bugged that happened to my Mario? It’s still broken. It still gets confused. It only works a few times. Then it just stops. I don’t know if it’s getting confused cuz of the type blue it’s on. Or it’s a bug. The purple is poison now. The blue is still buggy. So uhhh… yeah. But anyways keep up the work. Noah

Instructions great but bring back whole set views. The instructions are great and my son has no problem using them. However, the app has taken away the ability to see all the courses on the Home Screen and instead builds a short course from your existing pieces. It’s such a shame not to have all the sets visible in one place or at least be able to add more pieces to the custom build. Please bring this feature back.

App crashing every time across all devices. App was working during build of a few sets, but since buying the starter kit, the App is constantly crashing almost immediately after loading every time. We have downloaded the instructions for building the starter kit from the alternate link, but I presume the app is required to get the full experience of the set. Very frustrating. Tried on iPhone 11 OS 14.3. iPhone 8 14.3 and iPad mini 4 13.7

Thanks SO MUCH!. Asslamo Aliakum I’m back. Mario ended up connecting, Thank-you Gabriella, this was because of you. And my brother, Wajih (Call him Hugo), wanted me to play with him after school. I did, we ended up having a lot of fun! Please add more games for us to play! We were kinda getting sick of Beware of Boo, Treasure Hunt and Dodge Chain Chomp. (But we still play it). Lego, we would never had this fun in our lives, never smiled so broadly, without you. -Saria

Luigi stops working when trying to connect to app. So i purchased the Luigi starter pack and he was ok until trying to connect to the app and now he won’t work at all. I returned the first pack after trying to connect, including uninstalling the app and reinstalling, new batteries etc. Now the second one has done exactly the same. I know how to connect as i have the Mario one and have had for some time but Luigi just wont work and for the price i find this annoying.

Fun app but sometimes it keeps crashing. Thoroughly enjoyed the app. However it tends to crash sometimes. Like now when my 6 years old son need it to get the user manual to build new lego set. Tried restarting apps, restarting iPad device (iOS 14.3), tried different devices, same issue.

Good but a little feedback.... Lego Mario is very good. I should know, my younger brother is obsessed with it and loves it annnndd the app had to be on my iPad. I don’t mind. But I did the Beware of Boo play challenge and I thought after that one there would be more but there isn’t. WHEN R THEY COMING OUT? I like Lego Mario but I rlly want more play challenges 2 try. I hope u read this and make it happen (I don’t know if the challenges appear a while after the first but make it quick!) THXXX😊

I’m in love!!! 😍😍😍😍. Ever since I was a kid I’ve been an avid fan of Super Mario 😍😍😍 I’ve played the classics one, though I haven’t played everything from the switch but got the odyssey and the de luxe which was sooo good 🤩🤩🤩 I literally influenced my kids with this.. my son loves Luigi, my daughter is with Princess Peach 😆😆One thing I would like to suggest is that hopefully we could see some other characters that actually ‘talks’ in this LEGO version specifically Luigi and Princess Peach😍

Awesome but a bit of a problem. I got this set for my birthday and I was really excited. I wanted this set for years and it’s so fun. But on the app, there was a selection called “Ghost mode”. When I turned it on, it got really laggy. I couldn’t use it, but still great job 👏. I also have a suggestion. Could you create more challenges? Also I have another problem. When you go onto your challenges, the share button is freaking out a bit. Thanks so much!

IT WONT WORK!!. when I turn on lego Mario it just has the Bluetooth symbol on the screen that’s on his belly and it never goes away, when I go into the app and try to connect him it just says “for the app to connect to lego Mario please enable the following permissions Bluetooth permission” so I go into settings and it’s already on so I try turning it on and off again it doesn’t do anything! so now I can’t use the app at all and now all these lego Mario sets are just taking up space plz just fix your app!

Extraordinary but…. I love using this app to play courses and challenges, but lately Lego Mario is freezing and wont do anything when I try to connect to the app. I don’t know if somethings wrong with the app or Lego Mario. He won’t even react or make sounds for quite a while.🧐 Please reply a solution.

Absolutely amazing!! But just quick other things!. I love this game! Lego has seriously took a next step! I mean he reads lava on a red block, water on a blue block, grass on a green block, poison on a purple block and sand on a yellow block! But it would be really cool to add a comment section to the game! And to keep thing child-friendly make it that you can report some comments if they are inappropriate so yeah ABSOLUTELY Love this game so much!

Only supports iOS 13 and above. I bought a second hand iPad mini 3 for my kids to use which is on iOS 12. All the kids apps work expect for this one. I was offered an older version of the app which I installed but it just crashes and is impossible to connect to my lego account. Please continue to support older iPads. I spend all my money on lego. I can’t afford a new iPad.

It’s amazing, but with some problems. I think it’s perfect, but while I’m making a LEGO set, it sometimes crashes, and I have to wait a few hours to load it back up. But other than that IT IS AMAZING. Oh, wait 1 more thing, if somebody doesn’t have a mobile device, they couldn’t build the set, so then they would need to spend THOUSANDS of dollars. And that’s my review. I reeeeaaaaaly recommend Mario LEGO. + I love the title screen and the LEGO design. It is an amazing thing.

I could improve. I love the app it helps make me build and do fun activity’s such as the boo chase but I got the new Peach set and love playing the Lego Mario but please add one more connected slot

One small thing. This app/game is very good and fun but it’s got one small problem and that is that it doesn’t download very well in low internet areas but still if your a Nintendo fan please get it!!!!!!!!! And I downloaded it about like 20 minutes ago and it still hasn’t installed yet so there’s probably a problem with it but not saying Nintendo is bad!!! I still love 💕 my Nintendo Switch but there’s definitely a problem 🤨🧐🤨?!?

Constantly kicks me out. I got the app on a spare iPad hoping that would work it kept on kicking me out of the game ( I was somewhere with bad internet ) Then I tried again inside with good wifi it still didn’t work so I am hoping my iPad will work and not kick me out

It’s good. I’ve always been a fan of Mario and I like this app and all, but it glitches a bit and also, this has nothing with the problem but I have so much lego I don't have space to put all of them in my house. So my lego Mario was in a box taped so this app is pretty much only for building and not actually using Mario.😢The app is great though. But just the little glitches! That’s all.🙂

Good game but a few problems. The app was keeping of freezing so I have to restart my iPad. I nearly got all the Lego Mario course’s. I tried to turn off Lego Luigi but it’s keeping freezing and I can’t turn off. But Lego Mario is ok. This is one of my favourite games in the world.

Good app but.... It’s a good app but if you start a build and finish one bit of it and Leave the build then it claims that you’ve already finished it and even if have finished the build it doesn’t let you re-enter the build even if it is smashed to pieces. Please fix LEGO

Another issue, not with the app. While this app is indeed excellent for instructing and playing, I’ve faced 1 issue that makes the figure useless, the scanner isn’t working, I’ve done what most tutorials do instead of tearing Mario apart, but to no luck, it’s a fail, I think part of the scanner died/lost power, so I hope you guys have some suggestions

Cool. Cool

Help me pls. The app is very useful and fun but when lego mario and lego luigi are connected together and balance luigi's starting level both display a screen on their stomachs. What can I do ?

Good Game😃. I got this app back in 2020 and I forgot about this app But it’s still good

Great interactivity. there is great interactivity between LEGO Mario and the app

What the heck!?!?! 2GB!!!!. Seriously why is this app 2GB!!!

Very good appLego Mario is my favoriteI was dreaming that there would be a Lego Mario. It came through very good app just wish they would be extraction guidesNot that it matters just I just wish

It is epic cause am pro. It’s is so epic thx so much and plz make more plz plz cause I am pro

Very Good!. This is totally not trash.

Awesome. I can’t believe that this app works it’s awesome

It’s so fun. I bought it and I couldn’t stop playing it

This is genius. Wow Lego you are such a genius whoever created Lego is really really smart.

Sonic will get a lot. Avery

So good. This is one of the most coolest Lego sets! Keep up the good work. Lego sets does not feel that mind blowing and awesome and interactable these days until this thing. This Lego set is super duper awesome.

Could have been better if they added wario. They could have had wario

So good. I love it chain chomp game. Is underrated

Great until 2.02. Loved this app... Until it was pretty much hopelessly broken with the 2.02 release. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and the issue is pervasive -- it doesn't sync my "village". This is a common complaint online so I don't understand why this version hasn't been pulled as 2.01 worked fine.

🙂. J’aimerais qu’il sorte les lego peach

GET IT NOW!!!!!!. Get it get it get it

My first set. I just got the app and it’s okay I don’t know how to play with my Lego Mario

Cool Lego Idea. I love Lego and I love super Mario and this is just perfect of what I like

Good app but are some issues. This app is a very good upgrade from the paper instructions but for certain sets when I finish building the first enemy/block it just goes back to the sets and I can’t build the set. I had this issue with lakitus sky world. Please fix this lego. But great app overall

It’s so awesome. Oh, it’s so awesome. All my sets worked great. I didn’t think it would be good on mobile.

Gotta be kidding me. So I pay for a Lego kit, then I need to spend way to long fr|gging around with this ridiculous app, checking device compatibility etc so my kid can build his Xmas gift? You bothered to put a paper booklet that advertises how to play with the product, you might as well put actual instructions in it. Get bent, this is absurd.

So wrong. Not printing the instructions and forcing to download the app to get it is just plain wrong. Parents work hard to keep their kids off the screens, hence the usefulness of legos. I will download the app just for the instructions of this set, will delete it right after and will never buy legos again.

Great but…. The only thing wrong with this is game (that I saw) was it glitched and I couldn’t go back to the main menu so… I had to delete the game and download it (no biggie) I’m still rating this 5 stars because I was relieved when I saw you get online instructions cause I’m kinda new to lego and I love (the game) Mario and lego cause it’s a time-killer (in a good way)and it’s so constructive in many ways I hope you liked my review!!

Thank you LEGO. I appreciate that they added an app for this because you can do more things like challenges,3D instructions and more! This is why I like LEGO Mario soooooo much!

Super mega super cool. Super cool

Pls do. You should make it so you can change the letter on the hats on Lego Mario or Luigi

Best Mario app ever. This is to goooood

This sucks. Lego is a great fun game and it’s great for children not being on their electronics but now with the instructions on electronics they’re not only staring at a bright screen but I also have to get an app

Best everrrrrrr. Yesssss it’s soooooo awesoooommmmeeee

Crash. The app keeps crashing when I’m building my sets I hope you guys can fix that

Good. For my whole life I wanted for there to be a LEGO Mario but finally it’s here!!! My only complaint about it is that there is apparently 0% reason this is even a thing!. Why can’t LEGO just make an instruction book!!!!!!

Downloading an app for just instructions. Bought this for my nephew only to realize I have to download a stupid app to get the instructions. Why couldn’t you put instructions in the box like they used to…completely stupid and unnecessary. Will return and never get another Lego set for my nephews or myself ever again

Really cool but... I like it a lot but why can’t there be real instructions in the Mario sets that’s my only complaint but still it’s a good app

Good app. Just needs bug fixes.. I really enjoy it and it give easy instructions. It does crash every now and then. Needs to be fixed. Other then that it’s really well made. Btw you need the app the make the LEGO Super Mario sets.

Bhyvyvg. Dfgb but

Awesome. This is the best app! It was easy to understand 3D instructions. The challenges are great but I wish there was more. Overall it it is an amazing app. It’s super fun! I do this every day never stop!

Amazing app. It’s so good and I love it! The only reason that it’s kind of bad is cause the power up packs are kind of messed up, the app thinks the bee pack is a normal Luigi, and the frog is a bee suit Mario! Other than that amazing app! Keep it up! :D 😃

I love Mario ❤️ ❤️! And legos. Mario plus legos are the best combination

Adult verification. To set up adult verification, the app wants an adult account setup. No issues there except when it prompted me to input a credit card number and my license number. I do not trust giving my personal details to a 3rd party online, so I will not be using this app and will be returning the product we purchased, as we can not get the assembly instructions with out the app.

Lego Mario set no physical instructions. Cool set but really wish there were some physical instructions, even if the digital or online ones were still available why not keep the physical for us old school builders.

Love this. It’s awesome

George mcroy. Its a well done app and very cool!

What’s wrong with an instruction book?. Why do you make customers download a 2G app when all you need to do is simply include an instruction book with your product? Just feels like forceful downloading of an app for the developer’s benefit cause all the reasons listed by the developers for creating this app seem ridiculous for the hassle we need to go through

Short Sighted. If this was an app for adults there would be no issue, but this is an app for kids, and I think it is very short sighted to expect that kids have the latest devices. Most kids get their parents hand me downs for devices. There is no reason that this app could not be developed to encompass iOS 11 or 12, this is not or at least it should not be a resource heavy app, do better Lego. The app works great on Mac OS 14, which I now have to hand off to my kid to play with...not ideal.

I LOVE THIS. I love Mario and I love Lego so this just EXISTS IS AMAZING

Bring Back Old Characters from packs. Ok, I love Mario and the characters I love collecting them and the Peach looks great! 💖 (I missed Series 2 and 3 so I wish there was a way to re get to figures 😔) I can’t wait for future sets! Please keep in mind my suggestion… But other than that Mario works great and he functions properly nothing crazy yet except maybe the vacuum thing appears every now and then but aim just take off his pants and it fixes him. Thanks! 🤩

Lego super Mario is the best. This is the best video game I’ve ever played in my life and I love it so much because of the Bluetooth connection in Mario and Luigi it’s the best game I’ve ever played in my whole entire life I just can’t it’s too good so I love all that and that times all your score and everything and there’s so many sets even came out with Luigi so it’s just like the best thing ever and literally you can’t make anything better than this is like the best Lego set brand ever I love it so so so so so much yeah that’s pretty much it

Bring More Characters Back Please 😀. I LOVE Lego Mario but there’s just one problem… The Character Packs… I like them but I wish more will come back Like Fly Guy and The cloud thing… I missed Series 2 and 3 but the point is I see some 2 and 3 characters in some sets but not a lot 👀 I wish I could have some way to get all of them again… ❤️ I hope you keep my Suggestion in Mind for when you make future things for January 1st and everything in the future! Thanks!

Update: Can’t even open app. Update: After much frustration, I restarted my phone and got the app to download and working. (I had previously tried uninstalling the app a few times and reloading, giving the app time to download, making that particular app first priority downloading). My husbands phone although compatible never worked. We’re happy one worked and our son took over building his legos. Trying to download on 2 different phones and we can’t even get the app open to start

Y’all know the drill.. Hello again, LEGO! It’s Set Suggestion Time! This was in my head for a loooooooooooong time, now. Can you guys make a Super Bell Hill Expansion Set? I mean, think of it! It comes with clear pipes Mario and Luigi can SLIDE through! The enemies are a big Galoomba (4 hits to defeat), a red Koopa Troopa, and 2 Cat Goombas as an exclusive enemy! There can also be Bell Trees that hide some secrets. It can be a Super Mushroom🍄, a Super Star⭐️, or some extra coins! Please let me know if you think this should happen! Thanks in advance as always!

Very easy instructions but some things need to be fixed.. Overall my 6-year-old cousin completed the set easily but he wasn’t able to connect Mario to the app because of an update for Mario, but the game never initially told us that Mario needed an update and that is understandable because you need to connect Mario in order to install an update on him but you guys at lego have to make instructions that a 6 year old can understand, though the problem is fixed I just don’t want this to happen again.

This is not the way. I am very disappointed that Lego went this route with the instructions. The very point of getting my son Lego sets is to enjoy ACTUAL toys rather than using the phone. The instructions on this is very insulting. He wants to build the characters but can’t go straight to the building instructions because they are locked until you finished the rest of the tutorials. The sets aren’t bad but the instructions are ABISMAL. My son and I enjoyed the sets from Hidden Side but disliked the phone feature. PLEASE LEGO, STOP FORCING THE PHONES ON US! NO MORE PHONES! NO APP INSTRUCTIONS! NO LEGO VIDIYO! I have sets dating back from the 1950s (Lego Mursten) and seeing them use phones for everything now, hurts! This phone/app thing is a straight GIMMICK! equivalent to VR (virtual reality) in the 90s.

Frozen lego Mario.. I really love this app and it helps me with my sets, but earlier today I wanted to play lego Mario with my lego Minecraft so I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth and then his face froze, the light under him was off and he would not connect. I tried deleting this app and trying it again, but it would not work😕. I tried to take off Bluetooth and turning it off again but it did not work. When is this gonna get fixed because I am getting lego Luigi soon. I hope it gets fixed fast. Btw love lego Mario.

Super Mario. Ukhdfh73 days till the last time we played the first one and we are already playing the first game in a month so I don’t think it’s going well but we will be back to the first one and I think it is a great time for me and my friends and we are playing the first two and we will play it together and then we’ll go from the first game together so I can see you and see what we have in a couple of years.

Terrible app and customer service. This app has bricked my daughters Mario, she is now sad, disappointed and frustrated that she can’t play with it. They are shipping us a replacement after countless hours on the phone… it will take over 2 weeks to get a replacement from Denmark?!? Why don’t you have few of these stocked in the US for customers that have issues. This is embarrassment for a company and brand of this size, you could have made a simple splash page with few activities or a free t shirt for kids who await their Mario to be fixed,… your product management should have tested this before the update. Making us parents sit for hours trying to fix this is unacceptable!!

Great… but one recommendation😅. I love this app. It works so well with my Lego Mario. Me and my brother love playing with lego Mario Lego and Lego Luigi! But, there is one thing I would recommend. The challenges. Maybe you could make it that you could play it with two players. And one other recommendation. Maybe you could make the app for three players. Because I have two Lego Mario‘s and two siblings. So if you could do those two things, I would be very happy.😊 This is a really great app. Thanks for making it!

Great!. I love Legos. They are so fun! But, I was even more excited about the Mario Legos. I wanted the starter set ever since it came out! I saved up my money, and got one. I LOVE it! It is so fun, but easy to build. It’s not frustrating at all! I also love how the eyes blink and everything like that. The app doesn’t give me any trouble whatsoever! I do feel like they should definitely make more expansion packs and maybe even add Princess Peach, Toad, Luigi, and other characters. Overall, it’s an amazing set, and I really do recommend buying the Legos. I can’t wait to buy the other expansion packs!

It is amazing but needs improvement. I use to play the lego Mario a lot, but I stopped playing for a couple months. I wanted to play again and I downloaded the app again. Lego Mario needed updates, so I updated. The app looks so different as it was. I try to connect to Bluetooth, it does, but lego Mario freezes and ultimately it does not connect to Bluetooth. To unfreeze the actual lego Mario, I have to take the battery out and restart the app. Is there any way I could fix this?

The end of paper instructions?. Please include a complete paper instruction booklet with each set in addition to the app download details. I simply do not have extra phones sitting around for my kids to use to build with their toys. Is that really asking too much? Addendum: And no, expecting the consumer to print their own instructions is not an acceptable solution. Color printing is exceedingly expensive at the consumer level, both monetarily and environmentally, and should therefore be the responsibility of the manufacturer. In this case, it is the responsibility of the same manufacturer, LEGO, that has provided color printed instructions for all of the non-Mario LEGO sets in their entire portfolio for decades.

Great App. Amazing! I love each feature especially the feature where you can share your awesome courses, even if they’re not so awesome. You can scan the courses and it shows what courses you have. It makes me want to collect them all! I have only seen a couple good courses so keep on making! I don’t even have LEGO Mario and I love the app, so sometime I will post my own courses! It will really help with building if you have any of the courses! But in the meantime, keep on building!

I Love This Game! Although.... I’m a big fan of Lego Mario, and have played for so long... it’s a lot of fun and you can easily sink so much time into it. However, I feel there’s one problem: The coins are useless. The whole point of the game(other than having fun) is to collect coins, but you can’t really do anything with them. I think if there was a shop to spend your coins on coin multipliers and power-ups(other than the ones from the packs, so maybe just a mushroom and a star?), I would play this game more. It’s really fun, but I think the ability to spend coins would be awesome as well.

Updated app does not show all legos. My son has different sets between houses and when the app updated it lost the whole “town” of legos that showed all the sets. The update shows a new home screen that reorganizes different parts from the sets to inspire new play. I would rather see all the sets on the old version so he can show everyone the sets he has built. He is 4 and now doesn’t want to play with the app. Please bring back or make an option or advise me a way to download an old version of the app. I do not agree with this update, it is not better. The lego Mario operates fine with an older version as well and the app does not crash. Please fix.

Lego Mario app is a little buggy. After about a dozen attempts, I finally got Mario paired, which needed an update. Now that the update is completed, any time I try to pair Mario, he locks up and gets stuck with 4 dots on his chest screen. Update: After uninstalling and reinstalling the app and cycling the Bluetooth connection on my phone, I was able to pair Mario after only about 3 or 4 more attempts. Now Mario connects each time. Now that the app and Mario are working, what I have used so far seems to work quite well. I am actually surprised as how much I like using the digital instructions for the builds.

A few questions for the new sets coming out. First of all, I'm loving the lego Mario franchise so far. But I have a few questions about the new sets coming out. 1. Is Lego Luigi getting power-ups? 2. What will the 1-up mushroom do? 3. Do you need only need two players to defeat the Lakitu? 4. Is Series 4 coming out on New Year's Day just like Series 2? And that's all the questions I have for you. Can't wait for Series 4. 🍄 (You know what nevermind you already responded)

Issues with new update!. Hello, we have had this product and everything was great, we even have every set except the new Luigi one. Unfortunately this new update has caused some serious issues. At first our Mario was freezing so we troubleshooted that issue and everything was fine, but now where it would normally show all the sets in the world has a long load time and only shows one set out of all the ones we have. Please come up with a fix ASAP because my son is dealing with issue after issue now.

Bug with the app. There is some bug on the LEGO Mario app. When I get into the app to build my LEGO Mario set, it glitches and kicks me out of the app when I press “Start”. I don’t know what is going on but I’ve tried it in multiple devices and it won’t work on those either, it just randomly kicks me out. Also I would highly recommend there to be actual instructions that come inside of the LEGO Mario set because there are some people who don’t have electronic devices. The Mario app is really fun to use but it drains a lot of my battery percentage. I hope you read this and fix the bug!

Help me. Does not work well. Waste of money to pay $120 for a Mario and Luigi set and Mario just stays stuck on Bluetooth display. We called lego. We uninstalled and reinstalled app, turned off phone and back on and then opened the app and tried to connect. We did the update 3 times for Mario. App shows he is connected but the Bluetooth display won’t leave and the scanner light won’t come on but Luigi works fine. Very upset parent. Very upset child. Lego support did not help as they just told me to try all the steps we already did. I asked for a Mario replacement and they keep trying to make me do the same steps over and over. Considering just returning and asking for our money back.

Best thing LEGO has ever done. We love the LEGO Mario and have bought 4 sets now for my son and love them. App can be glitchy but as they update and fix glitches it will only get better. It expands the kids love of building and uses devices with LEGOs in front of him. He is 6 and has been able to build all of the sets 90% by himself despite the 8+ age on some of the sets. The on app walkthrough of building is so much better than the old paper pamphlet form. Very happy and will add to the collection as we go.

Severe drop in quality and content is highly dissapointing. Starting around January 2022, I noticed issues logging into the app. My progress had all been erased and all the sets i built with my son were no longer displayed in the world. First of all, thats total garbage. Bring back showing our hard built sets in the app. That was such a cool feature, its total crap you guys eliminated that feature. Huge disappointment. Now, i cant even get the app to log in. I have tried every trick in the book from deleting and redownloading, to restarting my entire device multiple times. With new sets continuously being released, its absolutely unacceptable for you guys to be lowering the quality of features in the app. Will continue to report issues, but i dont see the point much anymore. Been reporting issues since January and its only gotten worse. Roll it back to the features from when it launched please!

Extremely confusing. Bought my son the Luigi starter set. Downloaded the app. All that shows up as soon as you load the app is a straight line of the items in the set. It’s like a “course” that doesn’t even match what’s on the box and isn’t even clickable? It’s so confusing, even for an adult. You would think there would be intro instructions for first time users…instructions for kids… nope. I had to click around to the different areas of the app to finally find the “booklet” of the sets you own. Once you are in there you can click on your set to see the instructions. And this is meant for kids aged 6+? What world are you developers living in???

Froze my Mario. When I open the app I usually would connect my mario to the app but this update was different, now my lego Mario when I try to connect him via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth icon that means connecting on lego Mario freezes and his sensor lights turn of and is frozen for the time being, also whenever I watch a video it closes the video out and takes me back to the menu. LEGO, is there something wrong with Mario or the app? Please respond and thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Good sets, but confusing app. So I LOVE the lego Mario line, but the only problem I have with it was the instructions. I am very used to the physical instructions in every set ever but in the lego Mario line there are no physical instructions because they are in the app. The app is fine but it took me over 10 or so minutes to just get to the instructions for the sets I bought so maybe if y’all made the instructions a little more easier to access I would give it 5 stars, but still fun and amazing sets.

Needs to be compatible with more devices. This app does not work on my kids tablet and when I tried to download it on his iPhone it said he needs to update to a new OS that is not available for his device. I’m not buying my kid a brand device when his current phone and tablet are working perfectly and are able to run every other app he needs except this one. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the expansion pack he bought worked without the app. The starter pack allows the Lego Mario to interact with the pieces that it was packaged with but if he tries to use it with the other set he bought it just gives a Bluetooth message saying that he has to connect to a device.

Problem with the app. We got the starter set and an expansion set yesterday. The app worked great for the first day when we set up the starter set, my son had so much fun play with lego Mario and the starter set. Today (the next day) we were going to add the expansion set and now the app will not open. When it does open after pressing the start button. The Home Screen is dark and it won’t let us press any buttons. Then it just shuts down and kicks us out. So now we can’t set up the expansion set, because the box doesn’t come with instructions. It would be nice if they kept the paper instructions in the boxes still and not have to keep using the app all the time to set up a set.

Amazing app and sets. I have been waiting for Lego Mario figures to come out, but I was never expecting this, and with Luigi coming out things just can’t get any better. But I have one request. Can you guys make the coins in the app actually do something, like maybe a store where you can use your coins to buy like, stickers or wallpaper for your phone, or maybe even sets?? That would be very cool if you guys can pull that off, but anyway great app and all.

A Great App, but I have complaints…. LEGO Super Mario is really run and I’ve been using this app since launch. However, like many others, I ran into many difficulties with updating Mario with the most recent version of the App. I did manage to get them synced eventually, but I had to reset everything. Oh well, a small price to pay I suppose… I also don’t like the revamp for the tab where it kept track of all your cataloged sets; for me, and I’m sure a few others, part of the fun of getting a new set was watching that little display grow! I don’t understand why this got changed, because the top tab already provided pictures for course examples using pieces of the set you owned. Now the top tab feels so… empty… As I said, I love LEGO Mario, I love having this companion app to track my coins and save my courses, but I really miss seeing the world in the cataloged sets tab growing!

Worth downloading and 100% free. I downloaded this app today on Christmas Day. And my grandma got me my first Mario Lego set. So that’s why I got this app. I searched for the set I got and I started building it. When I finished I tried it out on the course. I also connected and updated my Mario and I was able to play on my course. And when I got to the goal it when back to go how you build your set on my IPad. If you are looking for a app to help you build your Mario Lego set this is the app for you ! Merry Christmas 🎁

Best app ever!. With this Lego Mario fidget I have collected all of the sex when I say all I mean all! Looking forward to Lego Luigi in August and I am ready for new courses and sets whenever they come out especially your weekly challenges you post on their 3-D instructions that are very useful and more! Though it may be expensive it’s really been worth it! My next suggestion is to make a course with Lego peach in it. 😅 and if you could reply back this would mean a lot!

Bring Back the Old Homepage + Bugs. I loved seeing all the 3D models of the sets once I scanned them in, but now it’s a boring, bland, straight level? It’s not good at all and I wish they would change it back. Onto bugs. Randomly (I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled it twice now to attempt to fix it) whenever I start instructions, things are really buggy. For example, the clock block in Lakitu’s Sky World, when I was building it, the top (where the factory applied sticker is) was white and the block itself’s only had the clock on the front. Furthermore, in Wiggler’s Poison Swamp, the wood bridge got funky and was showing the same shade of brown as different shades. “Only the best is good enough,” right LEGO?

After update App no longer works. After downloading the last update, my son lost all of his Mario world he has scanned to the app. Having issues connecting Mario via Bluetooth and now that we bought Luigi set today we can’t even connect him via Bluetooth as well. Please fix the bugs, my 5 year old is very upset about it all! Overall before this latest update, the app is wonderful and my son loves it. We almost have the full world/sets for Mario and now have to work on Luigis!

Set re-scan. Hi I have a question about the set scanning. So I scanned a couple of goomba sets I don’t have, (bone goomba, umbrella paragoomba, winged paragoomba) and I scanned my Google from the starter of sad thinking it would recognize the three goomba sets and it did but then I realized that I couldn’t re-scan the sets that I scanned already for fun once I got them so can you add some thing where if your skin is set for fun once you finish building it you can rescan it for fun again after you finish building the set

Crashy and required to build the sets?. Update: the app has been working better since they mentioned that a server side fix resolved the issue I was seeing. I still wish that the app provided out of app links to the instruction booklets since the sets themselves don’t include the booklets, but they can be found with some searching so it’s not a big deal. The app is a nice catalog of the sets you do own and it’s fun to keep track of how Mario does for coin count and such as you physically move him through the lego set stages. I’ve deleted the original review text since it doesn’t apply anymore. Thanks again for the fix and response.

Bring back our sets, please!. I’m with several other reviewers, and echo their frustration with the new update. We really liked the old version of the app, where we could see our sets on the home page, and could quickly find the instructions to the sets we have. While I think the “mix up” feature is kind of a fun idea, it’s overly simple and doesn’t challenge any builder over the age of 5. Why can’t we have both? You don’t have to take away the new feature, but just give us the option to view our sets, too! Ending on a good note, we love Mario & Luigi and are having fun collecting each set!

This is so much fun!. I’ve been a fan of the Super Mario series ever since I started playing games, so when they released Lego sets for the series, I knew I’d have to check it out! I have to say that this is the most fun I’ve had with Legos in a long time! The interactivity with the sets is awesome and I absolutely love them! I’ve only got the two starter courses and two expansions right now, but I’ll definitely be getting more! I’d say these are definitely worth getting! They’re an absolute blast!

Need game sets. I am a rely big Nintendo fan and it’s have a the first wii and a Nintendo switch so maybe you can make like the the pagwion power up or like some super Mario oddesey or super Mario galaxy or 64 or sunshine and a rekey big bug it I don’t have a lego Mario and the game won’t let me build the sets that’s one of the reasons I got this app it also needs more characters and power ups and it who takes let me download the app any more because I can’t delete my moms apps so you fix thos bugs LEGO Michigan be my second favorite compeney. Your pal Micah Smith.

Love Lego Mario. My son got several Lego Mario sets for Christmas this year and we love them. I love having the instructions online where we can zoom in or rotate them so we can see the pieces better to make sure we connect them correctly. My only issues is the last day of two the app keeps crashing. We just got my son a couple character packs and he wanted to add them to his set but we can’t because we can’t access the app. *Edit- the app is working great now and we have added the character packs he got plus several more that we have purchased since then. Can’t wait to collect more.

Used to work but now just crashes. The app used to work great! However with the recent update the app constantly crashes and when we try to connect our new Luigi set the app tries to update Luigi and then freezes. Also they removed the ability to view the sets you’ve bought on the map. That was my daughter’s favorite feature and they removed it. Luigi is basically a brick now because he won’t connect and he won’t update even after trying to clear my cache. Really disappointed in Lego for launching a buggy update and removing one of its best features.

Good sets, somewhat good app. So I’m a big fan of LEGO and Mario, so seeing this series being introduced was so cool. Luigi and Mario have worked splendid for the most part, but they have had trouble updating from the app. When Luigi was first introduced, he had the frozen Bluetooth face for a few weeks. He was fixed, but it was weird that he was like that. And later on with the Super Mario 64 D2C, Mario froze during the update with the exact same problem. He’s been like that fore weeks now and he still won’t unfreeze no matter how much I factory reset him or update him. The app really needs a fixing in this

Broken after update. Be warned.. Came looking for answers, but I see customer support just sends out the same automated message claiming sorry, server is fixed now tho. Funny thing, same answer on tons of different days and to different issues. My family and friends who I reached out to still have non working toys also. What a mess. Used to love these sets. We’ve collected numerous sets, and the new Luigi figurine arrived yesterday!!! We excitedly unboxed it, got ready to build and play, then of course had to stop and wait for an update to the app. Well, the wait was worth it, because now the Bluetooth connections are broken!!!! And no, not just for me, all the parents of friends have the same major problem. Loved the product, sad it’s now broken.

App does not work. My son received the LEGO Mario starter kit and we have been trying to get this app working for 2 days. We have downloaded it multiple times, factory reset Mario, updated and reset the iPad Pro, even tried this app on multiple devices. It does not work. We get to the start screen, sync with Mario, update Mario, get to the world map, then hard lock and shut down. We try to reboot and it won’t get to the world map. Meanwhile, there is a pile of assorted legos strewn across my table because, in someone’s infinite wisdom, they decided to hinge this set solely to the app. If it worked, at all, we would probably singing its praises. However, I have an upset child that really wants to play with their really cool Mario set, but can’t.

Really good but I have an issue with lego Mario. So I bought one of the packs and it tells me to scan lego mario but I need to connect to Bluetooth here’s where the problem comes in. I connect to Bluetooth with lego Mario but he gets stuck in Bluetooth mode with the dots still on lego Mario’s body and no responses happen if I try to turn him off it won’t work if I stomp on an enemy he still stays frozen my only Solution is to unscrew the back and take out the batteries. But I want to connect the app to lego Mario so lego please fix this.

App Crashes-Update. Update- Lego contacted me directly & all issues are fixed. I wish their website had been easier to contact them, but all is well Paid a lot of money for Legos that do not come with instructions then downloaded an app that keeps crashing. Most people are reporting the issue being that app wont work with the 2021 calendar year. 🤦‍♂️ Giving it a 3 star now that the app is fixed. I hope it stays that way. I’d give it a higher rating except I found out Lego refuses to be contacted on their website.

Why don’t the sets show up on the world map anymore?. Response to Developer: I understand that the level mixer replaces the sets on the main screen - that’s the thing that we don’t like (and other reviewers don’t like it either)! Please give us the option to see the digital version of our sets on the main screen again! My children absolutely loved scanning in there sets and having them rise out of the ground on the digital world map. Now after the update all their sets are gone and there is nothing but a few random pieces on the world screen that you can shuffle around. Please change it back! My kids are so disappointed that they can’t see their digital collection in the app anymore!
