DA BEST!!!. I love this game. It’s really fun! Their is one problem. I know you can’t change this part but it’s just something for future games. I really don’t like the BTB (Bullet Time Battle). Even a friend of mine said she didn’t like that part. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get past that part. I don’t know how she got past them. I asked a parent who is really good at video games and even they struggled! Not just struggled, but couldn’t do it at all! They were doing good for the first few seconds but then failed. I bet a lot of other Danganronpa fans feel the same way.

Fine for me!. I don’t usually write reviews but i thought it would be helpful here! I’ll admit originally i was worried about the game with people saying the sound didn't work, or it kept crashing. However i experienced no problems with this game! The sound worked just fine, i wasn’t crashing, and honestly it felt just like playing the original. Issues could vary from device to device but for me nothing was wrong. I can’t wait for the next ones!

Absolutely wonderful game!. I have been a fan of Danganronpa for a while, so when I heard they were bringing the three main games to mobile, I couldn’t wait to see what the gameplay would be like. And of course, it was fantastic. The controls were easy to understand, there weren’t any bugs. Some people complain that the backgrounds weren’t that great, but it is on mobile, so obviously the backgrounds won’t be as high quality as the backgrounds in the PC or console version. Surprisingly, the game wasn’t laggy at all. It has the same lovable characters, intense trials, and heartbreaks. It’s amazing plot didn’t change one bit. Trigger Happy Havoc on mobile exceeded all of my expectations. Whether you already played Danganronpa, or are looking for a new game, this is a must- have!

WARNING SPOILERS TO THE PLOT When I heard about the concept of this game coming to mobile I thought it would be a great idea so the first day it came out I read reviews and got it one of the reviews I read was that the game kept crashing and that the devs need to fix it right now and it’s ridiculous So why don’t you shut your mouth and allow me to educate you like I said RIDICULOUS -Celestia Ludenberg/class trial 3 I’m sorry it was to good to pass up The game does crash a lot but that’s not the devs problem it’s your storage or something like that there is audio turn your ringer on and it is in English you just have to set it to english One way I used to keep the game from crashing a lot was using the auto save file after the game crashed but that stoped working after the part in the 1st investigation after I talked to Hifumi about the trash room and then it crashed and i was never able to play again LOL If you want to play get danganronpa on pc,ps4,Xbox I played on pc Well toodles

Best game i’ve ever experienced. Being a diehard fan of Danganronpa, i’ve watched the first two games in gameplays in it’s entirety, and when I saw it was finally coming to mobile, I jumped on the chance. Despite me already knowing EVERYTHING about the game, I never really explored the Free Time Events. This gives me a different perspective of the game, and overall, it’s just amazing to play. I love the mechanics, 5/5 any day of the week! NO GLITCHES!!!

Amazing Game. As a big Danganronpa fan, I was super excited when this game came out on mobile, which is something I can actually play it on. I’ve already played through the whole game and the only problems I’ve come across was that in the first case, you couldn’t get the notebook as evidence, but Kyoko covers that herself. And another problem is sometimes when I load a game, the moving is kind of weird, so I have to save and load it again, but it’s not a serious problem. Overall, this game is amazing and made me so happy to actually play it myself. I’m currently playing School Mode and it’s amazing. I can’t wait to see how Danganronpa 2 is on mobile!

The Import is Amazing!!. I have to say Danganronpa has had an amazing legacy and I’m just blown away by just how good they were able to import with easy import controls, bright coloring, just bringing the magic of the PS Vita and PS4 version of Danganronpa to our mobile devices and it worked out pretty dang well and I love the language settings you can do for the title screen it’s just amazing overall if your a fan of Danganronpa please give this mobile import a try you’ll love it.

Bugs. The game itself is amazing and totally deserving of 5 stars, but there are a couple of bugs that I’m hoping will be resolved soon. If they are, then I’ll gladly change the rating, but for now, I’ll just list the bugs and hope they’re seen. 1. Missing Text After a number, the text disappears. For example, when Byakuya in his free time event was saying “the 99 percent”, all the text following the number 99 was gone. 2. Freezing The game has froze during the 3rd trial, once I restarted my tablet it went back to normal but it still was a pain. 3. Typos In the character gallery to be specific, there are many typos. Sometimes when you press the words to hear the character say them, the words are not actually what the character said. 4. Crashing At the title screen when you try to start a new game, it will crash. I fixed this by restarting my device, but I hear that others are facing the same issue, so it’s not specific to me.

Not the greatest...... I don’t write reviews often but this game kinda annoyed me. I’m a big fan of danganronpa but they need to fix some things. First off, the sound for me doesn’t work. I’ve went to settings multiple times and adjusted the sound but nothing happened. Second, every time I get to the introductions it kicks me out of the game and I have to pretty much start the game over again. I tried to delete it and downloaded it again but still nothing. Third,the background graphics aren’t the best.....the characters, and sprites are amazing! But the background is just not it for me. Like I said, I love danganronpa! But I was a bit disappointed that I spent all that money on a game and the game barely works.

Great Game, Works Great!. Warning, this game contains acts of violence such as murder, suicide, Etc. Do not let children who are sensitive to these things play, but this violence is what makes this game itself. It’s a little expensive on the phone, but it’s completely worth it. The coding is correct, and from what I’ve seen it doesn’t have any bugs. But I do recommend saving every time, because it doesn’t automatically save for you once you leave the game, and then you have to do everything all over again from the last point you saved. But this game is great, and it would be a better experience if it automatically saves once you leave the game from the last point you left off. 10/10. Worth your time.

Don’t Understand What Happened. I’m on Chapter 1 and everything is going smoothly until you have to investigate and find out the blackened. I don’t understand if there is a glitch of some sort, but in Makoto’s room it does not let you investigate everything in order to get some of the truth bullets. It wouldn’t let me investigate the trash can, which I looked up was one of the things you needed in order to go any further... so I’m stuck on that one part and it’s pretty annoying... Although, I’ve been a huge Danganronpa fan and I appreciate it coming out on mobile, pretty good overall.

Passable, but not Great.. I’ll start off by saying that I’m a huge Danganronpa fan. I’ve played all the games, and all that jazz, but this special anniversary edition doesn’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth for buying this game again. Background Art is incredibly low quality and has not be upscaled to make it look better, or redrawn so it works with full-screen entirely. It’s jarring to see a usually high-quality text box being put upon a low quality screen. Even then, the text box, something you will be seeing for a large chunk of this visual novel, isn’t even high-quality enough. You can see that it’s just not as high-quality as it should. Textures in general needed a rework, like, for an example, the “Hotel Despair” sign on Floor 1, for an example. It’s still in such a pathetically low quality. Stutter when moving images occur is a problem, despite my very high-quality iPhone 10. This shouldn’t happen. I want the money back, but I know I probably won’t get it. This game will only be worth it until it actually feels like it’s being optimized. EDIT: Many glitches. During the Chapter 6 investigation, the two sheds in the Garden area are unloaded, as are the backgrounds. Another glitch: The “%” symbol seems to prematurely end a text-box. A message as “I’m 100% sure!” Turns into “I’m 100”.

A bunch of glitches in chapter 6. I got this for my birthday and it's amazing! My only complaint is it takes a few hours to download. But it's not that much of a problem since that’s not the game’s fault. If I could give 100 stars I would. The BTB is a little hard. But this is an amazing game and I don't see why anyone would give this below four stars! :) Edit: so I'm a little farther into the game and I have many more problems. First of all, in chapter 6, there is a glitch that speeds everything up. And I'm not just talking about dialogue. I'm talking about everything you do. And there's no way to fix this in the game. You just have to live with it. Also, a bunch of the items just glitch out. Like in chapter 6, the chicken coop and a bunch of other things disappear from the game. Again, there is no way to fix this. You just have to live with it. And I have no idea what to investigate. There is no way to figure it out without searching it up. And I’ve started to notice that the game drains my battery very fast. And it’s quite annoying to have to charge my phone every 5 minutes just cause the game drains my battery. I hope these things get fixed soon and I can change this review back to 5 stars. But until then, the game is a solid 3.

no audio! :(. i was extremely excited to finally be able to play danganronpa, as i haven’t gotten the opportunity to play it for the two years i’ve been with the franchise. the mobile ports were a dream come true, but when i got DR1 for my ipad i was disappointed. there is no audio whatsoever, and changing the settings does nothing. i love the voice acting and soundtracks for all the games, and playing without them just isn’t the same experience. i would love for this to be fixed because i’m really excited to play it, but it’s just not the same experience without sound.

Wonderful game! One bug. I absolutely LOVE this game/series. The characters are all so unique and interesting, all have amazing designs. Voice actors are amazing. Nothing to complain about until I get to the % thing. Whenever the text bar has %, all text thereafter goes away. Ex: I am 100% certain becomes: I am 100 I find this annoying because I don’t know what the character said after that. Although it isn’t huge, it still irks me. (This also happens in the second game.) Other than that, this game is wonderful and 10/10 would recommend!!

Boot Lock Issue‼️. So I was literally on the second to last trial of DanganV1 and the game started to get laggy, so I closed out the app to reset it. However when I reopened the app it opened to this black page that said “Boot lock” and that you apparently have to type in a password for. After I discovered this I googled this term (bootlock) online and discovered that several people had the same issue with the game. From what I’ve heard the only way you can get rid of the boot lock in order to play the game is by deleting the app. This results in you losing all your game progress however... Besides that gameplay was pretty smooth until that happened. The only little issues I did find were with the glitchy dialogues and portraits for some characters were also glitched AND when you did the walking thing you were unable to look around. But besides that the gameplay was smooth....but the whole thing it’s this “boot lock” is a MAJOR issue.

Very good port, minor bugs.. This is a good danganronpa port. The game controls well, and the class trial portions play great! Although, there are some bits that bother me. First of all, the BTB portion of the class trial is slightly off, as the visuals and music are slightly off, but that could just be me. Finally, The auto function is not so accessible, and it’s kinda bothersome to open the menu every time I want to turn on auto. Other than that, this is a good port. Good job, Spike! Edit: I noticed that the BTB timing was fixed, nice! (A tad bit overdue update, but fixed nonetheless.) I noticed another bug, however, mostly with how some of the characters dialog cuts off unexpectedly. For example, in one of Yasuhiro’s Freetime events, he was supposed to say, (and spoiler warning for those who haven’t played it), “At the bare minimum, I’ve got a 20% chance of accuracy,” where in the port it just simply cuts out when he says “20%.” Hopefully this gets fixed in the future. Still, however, it’s a good port, and still worth playing.

Extremely good with a few minor flaws. I had been interested in this series for a while so I decided to buy it and I think it’s super good. The story is amazing and they do a good job with the characters backstories, motivation, etc. My only real complaints is that the bullet time battles can be a bit confusing (but that’s more of a personal opinion) and a few times when I went to the school store to use the mono machine either it didn’t appear or was floating in mid air. You could still interact with it but the appearance would be off. Besides that great game

amazing !!. i’ve been waiting YEARS, to play this game on mobile. just because i’m a huuge fan of the danganronpa franchise. it’s really smooth, and honestly easier to play on here than pc. also the best thing about this is you can play it at any time!! when ur at home bored, and even in the car with no data or WiFi. overall amazing game and really recommended. also please make the second game on mobile too !! its my favorite<3

What is happening with the game.. So I have wanted to play a Danganronpa game for quite a while, but it is to expensive on ps4 and when it’s on sale i dont have the funds. So I saw this on tablet and I bought it. I was excited to play it, it showed the spike chunsoft logo for a bit and then showed a short loading screen, so far so good, until the title screen. When the title screen showed up it stayed for a split second and crashed. I opened the game again, same story. So i rebooted my device, it seemed to go better because the cunsoft animation was at a higher framerate, but in the title screen same thing happened. Many times, sometimes the title screen would be on for a few more seconds, I thought it was fixed so i tapped the screen to start it but it didn’t respond to it and the game crashed. Maybe my device isn’t compatible with the game? It shouldve shown that, because other games that aren’t compatibke will not download at all and say it’s not compatible with my device, but this game did not show that warning. So this is a problem with the developers? TLDR: game i bought keeps crashing on device and i didn't get a warning of the game not being compatible w/ my device...

Amazing Game. The game is amazing with the controls being fixed and being more easy to use not only that but the game is very long so it will keep you entertained for a long time and you will start to like the characters as you play also the game test you on your memory and knowledge so you will kinda have to use your brain to help so I would recommend the game to a lot of people since the series is has been around for such a long time and now there giving the game to mobile players who couldn’t have gotten the game since they probably didn’t own a computer so I give it a solid 5 out of 5

Explanations. Its a really good game. But the reason i made the review was to answer one of the questions to the bad reviews. Most people have been complaining saying that the game keeps crashing and to fix it. The thing is if you are using a device that a bit outdated like iphone 6 or other outdated stuff it makes sense for it to crash. Danganronpa is a really long game and making a long game requires a lot of data and processing power, its not the developers fault that your device cant withstand all the data and processing power from the game, there is no way to fix it unless you get a newer device. And i know its true cause on my ipad it crashes too and i have an ipad air. Its a bit outdated and it cant handle the processing power and data from an app. And for the people that are saying that the audio doesn’t work, turn on your ringer.

Wonderful but.... I’ve wanted to play Danganronpa for a very long time, and I finally got the chance! The port plays wonderfully, but there are a few problems... Whenever a percent sign is supposed to appear within the text box, the text completely stops and doesn’t have anything else behind it. This means that when you’re doing something like Byakuya’s free time events, you miss most of the dialogue. You also miss some of Hiro’s dialogue as well. This may be just me, but I hate missing all of that. It kind of ruins my enjoyment of the game, because I can’t see everything. I believe this is also the case for DR2, and I really hope it’s not going to be the same for DRV3. Other than that, the game is wonderful. Having seen other people play the game and finally getting the chance to play it myself is an amazing opportunity. Thank you so much!

Keeps Crashing. I’ve been waiting for this to come out, but when I got it, the game crashed before I could get past level 1 night time, or the prologue before it crashes, and when I try to open my save file, a few seconds after the save starts it crashes immediately, I hope to play this in the future when this is resolved.( I got the game yesterday when I could save up for it )

Thanks For Porting The Game. I’ve always wanted to play Danganronpa and being able to have the first one on my iPad is great. I hope you can bring the second and “third” game also for the App Store. There was a bug that happened constantly were the areas you would enter wouldn’t load correctly. For example the room were all the washing machines are some washing machine would not fall into place and stay levitating in the air. This also happened with the mono machine were it would not show it’s there but you can still tap it and works perfectly fine. The story is amazing and not difficult to understand like I’ve seen on others reviews. The game only crashed one time. Hope the other Danganronpa game get added to the game and that maybe a Danganronpa 4 come out one day!

epic B). its pretty good and it’s exactly what i expected so thats nice. i think most of the people that are complaining have personal problems with it because the music plays on my phone fine and it doesn’t crash either. also i know theres lots of glitches in the game because (ofc theres gonna be) but once glitch i found is that during the first free time when you’re in your room and you try to examine the sword you can examine it twice for some reason? idk lol but i just decided to put that out there hehe :)

Amazing!. I’ve been a fan of the danganronpa series for a while, however, i haven’t been able to play the games because i didn’t have the right computer, but now that the games it coming out on mobile, i’m going to be getting all of them! It may not work for some people because they have older phones. It’s works great for me! I’ve had no problems, and i can’t wait for Dr2 and V3! I just wish that UDG would be coming out too.

Minor bug. Extremely faithful port of the console classic, but one critical flaw I noticed: The text always freezes mid-sentence whenever the characters talk about percentages. For example, instead of saying “I’m at least 30% right,” the text box would say “I’m at least 30” and freeze, as if the app can’t handle displaying the percentage sign. A simple fix would be to replace every instance of “%” with “percent,” but hopefully there’s another way around it.

Good game, just some issues with mechanics. I’ve been a fan of the DR series for a bit, so I was extremely happy when I saw that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havic has a mobile edition. The game runs extremely well with the limitations touchscreen devices provide. My only issues with the app are that when selecting a Truth Bullet, my phone (iPhone XR) has the tendency to switch to the home screen if I try to select a new truth bullet. I figured out that I can only select a small portion of the icon. Not a big issue but still not the greatest thing. Also— the instructions for the BTB were a little confusing. It took me awhile to figure out out the selection of the phrase mechanic worked but I figured it out in the end :) Overall amazing game, and I’m lookng forward to seeing the app editions of DR2 and DRv3!!

So excited!. I’ve been a fan of Danganronpa for a while now, and I immediately bought the game once it was released. The game is the exact same as the computer version, but there’s only one thing I have to say that’s negative about it. Sometimes the audio will glitch when a character is speaking. Other than that, I really love the game. (The audio glitch is just a minor thing that doesn’t prevent someone from being able to play the game.) I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes the Danganronpa series, or just likes to play a mystery-type game.

Small problem. My friend has a problem it’s not a problem with the game it’s just something called boot lock came up and we don’t know how to get out of that so if you know the answer plz tell me as soon as possible so she can play also something funny on the other hand she kept giving Leon a vsco girl voice which is hilarious she is not very good at reading it either but that’s because she goes through it too fast but umm plz help with this problem Albino Gray Wolves 🐺🐾

great but one problem (spoilers for chapter 2!!):. okay, someone PLEASE tell me they have this issue too because i’m about to start crying because i can’t figure out what’s wrong- so i’m currently investigating with byakuya for chihiro’s death, and i guess part of the dialogue is supposed to say something about basis (we’re currently in the main area or whatever) but he just...doesn’t say it?? like, he literally says nothing about basis and that’s the key line for aoi coming in with her “emergency!” line and moving on. and i can’t leave the room until that happens, and i’ve investigated every single thing i can and i can’t figure out why i can’t move on or why he won’t continue with his “basis” line. someone PLEASE PLEASE help me i’m literally on the verge of tears with frustration and i just wanna move on to the trial and stuff

mkay.. Mkay. I was excited to buy this app because I admire the Danganronpa franchise. I was reading reviews, and some people were saying that it wouldn’t load on their devices. I decided to take the risk. I downloaded it and it did not load. Of course, I was disappointed. Later, I found a review explaining that the app wouldn’t work on older devices such as my own. I’m kind of hoping (hehe hope-) that someone will figure out how to get it to work on older devices, but I know that’s hard to do, so that’s not happening anytime soon. Now, I won’t give this a bad review because I know that Spike Chunsoft worked hard to create this. However, I will try to acknowledge that if you have an older device, it will not load. Jeez, this is a long review.

Love this game. I was so excited to play my favorite game on mobile! I few others reviews said the game crashes a lot but I cleared a lot of space on my phone before downloading it and didn’t have any problems so make sure you have plenty of space before you buy. It was easier to control on mobile than PC in my personal opinion. I didn’t experience any bugs in the game. The game is pretty long and you can go back to play the trials and wherever you saved over again. If you didn’t play everyone’s free times in the game you can do them all in school mode once you finish the game. Was very satisfied with the quality of the game. Not everything can be perfect when adapting to mobile but I didn’t find anything worth mentioning that was significantly different.

IM SO HAPPY. Hi I am so glad this came out ever since my bff started talking about dangonranpa I have always wanted to play it but since I didn’t have a pc or play station I couldn’t play it I was so sad but ever since this came out I have been so happy playing it! Please come out with the other games I don’t wanna spend $60 on my dads ps4 for dangonranpa 2 and 3 because I would never get to play them since he is always playing call of duty.

can’t win the first btb😿😿😿. i’m giving this app 5 stars because I absolutely love it so far. I have an iPhone 8 with pretty low storage and i’ve never had any glitching or crashing problems!!!! but here’s my problem and i’m sure this is probably on me but i’ve spent hours just trying to win the first bullet time battle. no matter what I can’t win it. i’ve tried looking up tutorials and everything but I just don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. someone who is good with the btb please make a review replying because I just want to win the first btb😿😿😿

I really like the game, but…. as far as the game goes it’s great (well actually the trials can annoy me a lot sometimes because they’re inconsistent with what counts as a false statement but that’s neither here nor there. There are several gameplay issues however, nothing too bad, but I would hope to get a fully working game when I buy one. The most noticeable glitch is that any time a % sign is mentioned in the dialogue it does not appear and neither does any of the text that follows. I have encountered this at least 5 times so far so it’s not just a one time thing. Another issue is sometimes the game won’t allow you to change the camera angle until you close the app and open it again. This happened the first time I ever played and I struggled for minutes trying to figure out what was going on. The third issue i’ve encountered is that in my game, once I reached chapter 4, going into the archive room freezes the entire game and you can’t press any buttons whatsoever. Hopefully I don’t need to go in there for an investigation !

Won’t let me enter the game. Today I just brought the game and whilst it was downloading I was getting all happy but once it finally finished I clicked on it and the loading screen was on then it completely crashed, I clicked it again hoping that it was just something wrong the first time and the next time I clicked it’ll be fine. But that’s not what happened it crashed, it did this several times and I consider deleting this but I actually want to keep it, I’m not sure if my iPad is compatible with the game or it’s something with the developers but I hope this problem gets fixed. I really want to play this game, I’ve been wanting to ever since I watched the animation. I rated two because since this error I don’t have a reason to give a good rating right now

Absolutely Phenomenal!. After adoring the game series for 7 years I’ve been playing it with my mom and am falling in love with it all over again alongside her! The app is great! Aside from a few glitches (sometimes things would load into rooms but would just be floating in mid-air which tbh was absolutely hilarious) it was perfect! I actually really like these controls a lot more than PC! So thrilled this is out, am about to download SDR2 as soon as we finish, and am oh so looking forward to the iOS release of DRV3 in the future!

Great game!. bought this a few months ago after watching the anime for it. this game was beyond my expectations and i could go on for who knows how long about it. my only complaints were how it took hours to download but even then it was worth it. although, when i first played it, over half way in, i received some sort of error. i looked it up and saw that a few years ago lots of people were having the same issue and none could fix it. i ended up having to restart the whole game as the result and it sucked having to do that but it was all worth it in the end. those are my only complaints. overall, its truly a 10/10 game and i’d recommend it to anyone

It crashes too often. I really love Danganronpa everything in it is amazing to me that’s why I downloaded the game. Everything was going smoothly until the game crashed out of nowhere I didn’t think much of it at the time. So, I reopened the game and probably played for 30 minutes and then the game crashed again. And this went on and on, I would reopen the app, play it, and then it would crash. And every time a crash would happen it would happen earlier than the previous one. Until whenever I would load up the game it would crash. Before this had occurred though I did enjoy the game but I can’t enjoy it anymore because of these crashes.

The New Standard For Mobile Ports. This port is absolutely wonderful, I had a blast playing it, and still playing it with all the extra content. Well worth the money and a great way for anyone interested in Danganronpa to get into the series. The only nitpick I have is that there’s two common bugs: not being able to turn your camera when running around and sometimes not being able to teleport. The latter is not a problem as you can just press a different button and it’ll return but the camera issue you have to exit out of the app and return, making it a real pain. Anyway, now that I mentioned the few bugs I’ve ran into, I can say with confidence this is what mobile ports should strive to be. Controls built for mobile and no content taken out from the PS4 and PC counterparts, something that is very rare in mobile ports. Just get this game, I promise you you’ll get a bang for your buck.

Great!. For some curious people this is playable on a iPhone 7. Moving on, I myself haven’t played a single game of Danganronpa since I never had the compatibility however I’ve watched plenty of play throughs of this game and this game runs great! Even though there are some occasional minor glitches like some images not loading in and some audio dialogue coming in delayed it runs perfectly! I would highly recommend this! However some of the cutscenes are in a lower quality which is a bit annoying however it’s understandable that the devs wouldn’t want to reanimate every single cut scene for quality purposes. Also I really don’t get how this game is only rated 12+.... However I’d like to mention that whenever I collected all 17 truth bullets it wouldn’t cut to three cut scene and I’m currently stuck, please fix this!

Amazing!. Some of the ratings I see are low, that’s because they say the game crashes and has some bugs. First of all, the game might crash depending on your device. The older your device is, most likely it will crash. And this game will most likely crash on any phone. This game is really long. I have one of the newer iPads and it still took about 10 minutes to download. It has not crashed for me yet. Second, this game has bugs because it was hard to develop such a big and long game to a mobile device. It takes up almost 4 GB of space. I personally have not seen any bugs yet, which is a good thing. I was thrilled to hear they were adding the games to mobile, plus that was when I first joined the fandom. I can’t wait for the other games to come out!

This Game Is Great Expect.... I was playing the game perfectly fine until my game glitched out. I closed the app and reopen it only to discover something named “ Boot Lock” and it was asking for a password. I was never received a password for this nor did i see anyone else have this problem. I deleted the app and redownload it and now i wait for the status of the game. Overall besides that one incident, the game is great and addicting for me

Refunds. The game doesnt even download i changed my wifi’s alooooot and tried many different things and i even checked my storage and guess what? There is 168GB storage left in my phone and the app doesnt wanna download? I am using an iphone 11 with ios 14 so its the news version and the phone is in good quality but the game still doesnt wanna even load? It keeps on waiting, by the way i downloaded another app and guess what? The other app successfully downloaded even tho the GB it had is more than this game!

Honestly great.. I’ve been waiting to get this game for my 9th birthday for a month now. And I regret nothing. I got it 2 days before my birthday, and I really recommend this to people who like murder mystery type things. The game has been one of my favorite anime’s ever, and I enjoy watching gameplays of it. But I can’t get passed Sayaka’s investigation. I checked every room for 2 hours but can’t do it. I can’t find Kyoko anywhere after having her tell me about Leon written upside down. The room hardly changed while Sayaka is still lying in the bathroom. I need to know how to get through it. It’s more for really good investigators, I already know its Leon but is there a way to start the class trial early? Overall this game is great and was worth the money. Another thing is that, this isn’t horror. It’s a thriller :>

I’ve been a huge danganronpa fan for a few years now but I’ve never gotten to actually play the games because I don’t have a ps4 or computer, but now I can! it’s a lot of fun and all the mechanics and stuff have (personally) been working fine for me. It’s a great port (especially considering it’s on mobile) and there isn’t a ton of unnecessary censorship like I was scared there would be. overall great, I’m stuck on the bullet time battle of the first trial bc it’s really hard 😎😔 but I’m excited to finally get past it and continue

Terrific, but some issues. When I first heard Danganronpa was coming to IOS I was super excited but it did have some issues whenever I had stopped playing and left, when I came back and had free time or had to explore the camera would get glitchy and when every I tried to look left my camera wouldn’t move or on the the rare occasion it did it would move left or up or down and when I got to the very end of the good ending in chapter 6 when I had to choose who had died twice and when I tried to pick Junko it wouldn’t let me click her name because purple words were blocking her name and I don’t think you can remove them on mobile so please fix this issue.

Good but a bug I can’t fix. This game is amazing and it’s definitely 5 stars, but the problem is that when I was playing, everything randomly stopped working. It told me to restart the game and when I did it still told me that there was an unexpected error and that I had to restart. I don’t want to have to delete the game and restart my progress.

Amazing game. The game transfers well to mobile and I’m very excited to play through it with my sister, if you enjoy both mystery and comedy this game is the perfect blend. I do however don’t agree with the ranking 12+ and feel that it better suited for at least 13/14+ since it can be pretty grim.

What happened. Right after the first trial I went to play a different game and then came back and there was an error or something it would just lead me to a page with stuff written in Japanese except for DR1 and DR2

I instantly saved up, and it was worth it. The mobile version is just as good as the others. It’s very helpful to have all the sprites and voices as well. I also haven’t had any bugs, so the software is amazing as well. Overall, this is such an amazing game on and off mobile and I highly recommend it!

Very disappointed. That both DR1 and DR2 don’t have cloud saves via iCloud support, meaning our save files will be deleted if we reinstall or delete the app. It also means we can’t play the same save file on both iPhone and iPad. DR2 is also a big disappointment since it uses a different app for different regions. I’ve seen games who use the same system updated for the US version but abandoned for other regions. Please make it a global app - meaning the same version for all regions.

One of the best games EVER!!!. Omg omg I absolutely adore this game. I love how it had so many plot twists and I love a good dose of gore. Speaking of gore, maybe change the age rating a bit? I don’t have any problems with it personally but I can imagine some parents of 12 year olds might have a strong opinion on the concept of this game. Very good. The game itself rocks, and I’m happy that I finally got to play it myself. However, I ran into a couple of soft-locks that caught me off guard and should probably be fixed. Inspecting one of the windows in one of the third-floor classrooms during chapter 3’s free time caused a text box to stay on the screen, which stopped me from doing anything; entering the library archive during chapter 4’s free time just froze the game completely.

Fun title though the extras need work. I really enjoyed playing through the first Danganronpa title. However, School Mode crashes when I attempt to load New Game+. This is pretty disappointing given the advantages it offers. I hope this will get patched later given the price of the game.

Probably the best way to play!. With other games, the lack of buttons is hard to port, but with Danganronpa, being able to touch makes it so much easier. I am not the first to say, I don’t like reading, but this game continues to interest you enough that you will be sad when it’s over. To those who don’t like virtual novels, this game has fantastic gameplay that makes you think through each case. Lastly, the visuals of this game is so unique, I have never seen anything quite so special. PS. Happy 10th anniversary Danganronpa, I’ll be here waiting for Goodbye Despair

Amazing!. Haven’t played Danganronpa before, but was hugely into 999 & Zero Escape. I blew threw my first play through in a few days and this port is bloody amazing! I did have minor glitches here and there, for example: sometimes panning camera wouldn’t work; or I couldn’t interact with an object. These sorts happened less than 10 times and each fixed itself by reloading the game. The touch screen adaptions work really well. The dynamic control position (vs fixed like lots do) is blessed. I played about half the game via AirPlay (TV) and had zero issues. Everything looks just great. Other than that, the game format works INCREDIBLY well on a phone screen. My only complaint is that during Closing Argument, some of the events are impossible to see, and when you “zoom” (hold touch) it’s under your finger so you still can’t see it. Other than that, no other UI issues and gameplay is great. Won’t comment on the story except: BUY NOW AND PLAY! Very thrilling and rewarding game and I can’t wait to play more. I saw that DR2 is coming on August 20, so I’m super stoked I don’t have to wait long! Thank you Spike & co for bringing a beautiful series to mobile.

Boot Lock is ruining everything. I love this game so much but now everything is over. This bug has ruined everything and all my game progress is gone and the only way to get past the boot lock is the re download the game. If I do that all my progress will be gone. We need an account system or fix the boot lock bug please! It is actually ridiculous how many people have been affected by this bug. I can no longer enjoy the game anymore thanks to the bug.

Love this. I absolutely love this game. I’ve watched all the playthroughs and all the animes and I saved up to buy this, and I’m so glad I did. I had one problem, the volume wasn’t working but I found out that you need to have your ringer on for the volume so it’s no longer a problem. I’m also very impressed with how clear the graphics are, I was expecting them to be more low quality considering I own a iPhone 6s but it was immaculate.

Deleted Files. Good game, but a major bug.. So i got this for christmas since I like danganronpa, and now that i have it, i got to chapter 4 then it froze in the middle of a class trial. I refeshed the game and it asked for a boot passcode. Of course I dont have the boot passcode so its unplayable now. Im dissapointed, honestly. Lets just hope this bug fixes itself. So different from the animation of the game. When I was playing the game, I noticed that their were a lot of things that were different from danganronpa the animation, not only that I noticed some of the voices actors are different from the animation as well plus I was able to get through the first class trial because of the animation.. plus I had fun playing it.

Sound wont work. I got this game on my phone and iPad because I love the series and cosplay from it! But on my iPad the sound won’t work, everything else works fine but the sound just is gone, no music and no voice acting, I checked the volume and it’s up all the way so I don’t understand. It runs pretty well!. For those who are looking for an English option, you go to the main menu then press options to change this feature, it should be there! The movement system takes a little while to get used to especially when you are moving the camera at the same time. Other than that, it’s perfect! I can’t wait for the other games.

Pretty Good!. So far the game has been amazing! I have all the games on my computer but THH would always delete my safe files no matter what I did. Now with the app I can finally play it. When I downloaded it it immediately worked super well. It didn’t crash, the graphics are amazing, and there hasn’t been any lag so far. I just think the app is a little pricey especially since the game has been out for 10 years now and most people have it on PC or console.

Great port! Except one bug.. This port of Danganronpa is beautiful and the few new galleries are fun. However, the ultimate gallery seems to have a glitch. Whenever I bought anything in the gallery and then played a trial again, all the pictures I just bought became locked again with no refund of my coins. This game would be a perfect port if only you just patch this bug.

Game isn’t working... This game is great it’s just in Chihiro’s class trial (class trial 2) I was doing an argument but then there’s only two answers you can pick, so I did them both but they both didn’t work. One option was Aoi she said “Before we found the body”, it was wrong so then I did it on Byakuya he says, “The victim was Chihiro”, and it feels like a waste of money. :/

I don’t have words for expressing how good and exciting it is to play Danganronpa, it was really worth buying it, I had a lot of fun playing it, and the class trials, the opening, the designs, EVERYTHING was something out of this world. I hope that in some future they will make more games of this type :D

REALLY GOOD GAME. To be honest this has to be one of my favorite games. It’s interesting and you can easily get into it, there is very little content that is not for kids like spying on girls who are in a bath but have towels on so your good. There are puzzles in this like finding who murdered someone. There is blood in the game sure but it’s pink and the most you see is a person dead with pink blood. I will highly recommend it to 9+ :>.

Great!. I’ve been a DR fan for a while but haven’t been able to play cause I never had or had the intention on getting a psp or vita. Now that they’re ALL being ported, I can enjoy them! I can’t even get past chapter 1 because during the first trial any time I try to load a save it’ll crash. So I have to restart the trial and do everything over again, and then when it randomly crashes halfway through I can’t even go back to the saves I made as I was playing because loading any save that isn’t the one at the beginning makes it crash :/ I don’t know if this is an issue on my end or if ya the game itself’s fault? I’m on an iPod 6.

Amazing game. If the audio isn’t working your ringer may be off!!!!!! I’m not that good at writing reviews but, this game has just changed me, made me feel so many emotions. It’s worth all the hours of playing and really leaves you on edge the whole time. The storyline is fantastic and the characters are amazingly written, the protagonist is so relatable and I just love the whole concept of this game!

reccomended from a longtime fan 😼. i've been a huge fan of danganronpa for a while. for the first game, i just watched the anime. but when danganronpa was released on mobile, i immediately got it. the anime is good, but NOTHING compared to the game! we get to learn so much more about all the characters. the gameplay is amazing and super compelling. super awesome, totally reccomend for people ages 13 and up. 😽✌️ (gore, mature themes)

Happy 10th Anniversary Danganronpa!. I wanted to say that this game is pretty fun for the mobile devices. The gameplay is simple yet effective, the storyline is pretty good, and the extra content is amazing to have. I do have one problem with the dialogue when the cast talks about the numbers or percentages, the sentence be cut off and incomplete within the dialogue. So you might to update the dialogue bubbles that displays numbers or percentages if that okay?

Great game, i love it but small issue. I finally got passed the trial and then i went to play today after I saved and boot lock popped up. I cant read Japanese so I have no clue what it said. Please fix it if you can. I re downloaded it a couple weeks ago and i finally got to chapter 2 and I’m locked out again please tell me why it does that

It slaps. I’ve always been looking forward to okay this game since I saw the animation but I didn’t have the console to play it. Thank you for making a mobile version! It works amazing, no crashes, no problems with sound, nothing. Sure the execution scenes are a little low quality but that’s okay because other than that everything is just flawless, definitely worth the money.

Boot lock. I love the game and will continue to keep playing it. But I’ve tried 3 times playing the game, and I keep getting boot locked from the game during the last class trial. This has happened so many times that I feel like I’ve wasted my money. I’m going to keep trying to play on my ipad and iPhone until I can finish, but until then there should be a fix on the boot lock problem because all I want to do is finish the game. How can this be fixed?

Amazing Game!!!!. I was so exited when I found out that Danganronpa was going out on mobile!! Everything works just fine for me on the game ^ ^ after chapter 3 though, there was a little glitching on the dialogue. I don’t mind that tho, honestly it’s better than the game crashing! I’m just so excited for the Second and “Third” game to come out on mobile too!!

Great game I’m loving it so far. Ok so I’m at chapter 3 and I’m loving this. No bugs or issues it’s nit crashing or anything (probably because my phone is newer and can handle it if your getting this get it on a se at the least) I definitely recommend it I know it’s 16 bucks but it’s like a 42 hour game so that would make sense, not many mobile games are that long.

Amazing game!. I absolutely had so much fun playing this game! Just finished it! But I also had a little problem with the camera when you move around and you just have to exit the game and go back in. But it doesn’t really bother me now since I just finished 😅 but a real pain to do the lil trick. But overall this game was a blast and really fun to play, hopefully maybe there will be new games soon! ❤️

Absolutely perfect!. I've had no issues with it, other than it overheats my phone after a while. A lot of people seem to be having trouble getting to the english dub, but I can help! When you start up the game and tap to start, don't press continue, go to language and you can get the english dub from there! I hope that helps!

Pretty Good!. I never played any of the Danganronpa franchise before, and I'm glad I got this! Its a bit buggy but very good overall! I noticed that there was a few bugs (certain items disappearing, clock, cameras, etc) and sometimes the auto save doesn't work, but it's overall very nice!

Amazing!!! With one glitch. First of all, let me just start by saying I really love the Danganronpa series and this mobile port defied my expectations! However, I have noticed one minor bug. Whenever the % symbol is used in a text box, it acts as an end marker and cuts off all the text afterward. Thankfully the % symbol is not used often, but this is especially noticeable in Togami’s third freetime event. I hope Spike Chunsoft fixes this in a future update.

EXACTLY LIKE THE GAME!!. I have the games on PS4 and I decided to give this a shot to see what it would be like. Literally exactly like how I would play on PS4. Just on mobile. The only downsides is that there are a few glitches but I think that’s mostly because it’s a new game. Either way this deserves five stars. Thank you for giving us Danganronpa on mobile!!

Wonderful. honestly i never thought i would be able to play danganronpa considering i don’t own the correct consoles for it, but as soon as this got released i was so happy! this is great, and i love it. the controls are easy and it’s so fun! only bad thing is that sometimes it doesn’t allow you to save during a scene. i also wish it would auto save everything.

10/10. The game was really good overall, but the timed bullet battles or whatever didn’t work and I had to tap a lot of times to get the target on the words. But it was the exact same as the anime and it’s totally worth the money. I just don’t know what to do now that I played it all in less than a week.😂 I played it for 5-8 hours straight everyday....

Just as good as the pc/console versions. I must say, the game is optimized very well. The controls feel very natural like their desktop counterparts. Even on my somewhat outdated iPhone 7, the game runs relatively smoothly. I also love how the game is not watered down in any way and is fully featured just like on the other platforms. Definitely worth buying!

SO GOOD. As a Danganronpa fan, i LOVE this app so much. I never got to play it before so i was so excited when i heard it was coming out on mobile. I got this app on the first day it came out. I was waiting. When my sister showed me, i SCREAMED and bought it. SPOILERS!! Im on the 4th chapter already and i already know who the killer was on every death. I have watched the gameplay. And i was sad that i had to see one of my fav characters die again. (Sakura) So i havent played in a while since iv’e got to her death. I have finished the whole series but i never got to play myself. This is the best game ever. I also seen that ppl said the game crashes a lot. But i still took the risk. And luckly, it did not crash! So now i might finish the series. :D I definitely recommend this app.

It’s still great. Honestly I have never played Danganronpa but I really wanted to. So I bought it only to find that it’s going to take up so much room on my phone that I will have to delete everything off my phone to play it. But others have said it’s a great game, so I am going to agree with them.

Danganronpa. Um I just wanted to know..my game is still downloading but does it have all the danganronpa series I really wanna play v3 but it’s not on mobile I just wanted to know if it comes with this game or am I gonna have to buy it when it comes out on mobile....if I do this perches would be a waste because I have the first one on computer...👁👄👁

I love Danganronpa!. This game is great and the execution from PC to mobile is flawless. Though, with every game, there are a few bugs. Uncommon, but still existent. One that I've noticed frequently is that whenever the % symbol is used, it will vanish and delete the rest of the line that follows it. For example, a line that would say, "I'm 100% sure," would be corrupted to, "I'm 100" No punctuation or anything. Other than that this is a great game. Keep up the good work!

Good game. It’s a good game and I like it. I’ve had no big problems with the game. You will have to wait a while for the game to download, also don’t delete everything you have on you phone like apps and stuff because it will download. Also you can play the game with no data and wifi, which is good. The game footage is clearer then I thought.

voice over?. Love this game but I do have a question. I have seen people where they have every character voice over what they say and you have to read Makoto's sometimes but i'm not sure how to do that. If you could tell me how that would be great! Another thing is that, it might only be available for other electronic devices. For example I have a phone, and ipad. I'm genuinely confused.

Great game...but. Just wanted to start out by saying, this game is really good! The characters are great and the story’s intriguing. I have had one problem with it, though. Any time a number is put in, there’s no text after it. This can be a big problem when reading through. Hope this is fixed soon! ^^

Great!!. So I was really worried to buy the mobile version on my phone because I thought it would be harder to play and such but it’s actually really easy!! I was planning to buy the game on my computer but I couldn’t really figure out how to, but I’m glad I decided to get it on my phone! I don’t think any of the gameplay is really missing on the mobile version. 10/10 and I’m planning to get Goodbye despair soon!

Happiness Abounds!. I’m so glad this exists! I’m so glad I get to play! Although... there are a couple of things I’d like to say. I think they’re bugs, but only one of them affects the gameplay. Sometimes I can’t adjust the camera view in the halls. It works again if I restart the app, but it’s still annoying. Sometimes assets float. I really noticed this in the archive. It’s actually kinda funny. Dialogue lines that include the percent symbol (%) are cut off. The symbol is gone, along with the rest of the line following it. It’s kinda annoying. Anyway, that’s all I have to say! I’m really glad this port exists, and I can’t wait for the ports of the others too.

GLITCH IN CHAPTER 3. I absolutely LOVE this game. However, there is a potentially game ruining glitch in Chapter 3. While exploring the school during the free time event to collect monocoins, if you tap on the further back covered window in classroom 3-A, the game will glitch out and create a blank speech bubble you cannot get past. Very frustrating, especially if you haven’t saved in a while. I had to go all the way back to the class trial in chapter 2.

PERFECT. This game was litterally the definition of high quality! I myself have never once played a Danganronpa game! Only walk throughs so I was so excited when it came out on mobile! I’m a huge fan of the series and after playing the game it made me fall in love more...I had no glitches, the sound was fine! And everything was amazing

It’s exactly what I thought it would be like!. As soon as I saw Danganronpa was coming to mobile, I knew I had to get it! I couldn’t BEAR the excitement! The graphics are just like the PlayStation graphics, and I really have nothing to complain about. I love the Danganronpa games and would love for the others to come out on mobile too! Danganronpa has eaten me whole. The story lines are always SO good! -Danganronpa obsessed fan

SPOILER ALERT!!!. Here’s another spoiler alert! (For chapters 1-4) . . . . . Ok sooo, this is a really good game! When I say good, it means like REALLY good. Here’s why, it such a good game for thinking and solving. There’s been a lot of plot twists, like when Chihiro was actually a boy, Sakura was the master minds spy, Sayaka making a fake relationship to betray Makoto (Aka our POV) This game is just so much fun! You know that feeling when you get mad and start to rage quit? I NEVER felt that while playing the game, even though I’ve been sitting for hours, it’s still fun to get it wrong, when you get a question wrong it makes you think more and more! Which makes it probably the best Mystery/Puzzle game I’ve every played. I’m overall very satisfied with my purchase.
