AMAZING 🤩🤩. This app is absolutely amazing, it’s exactly what the adds say, and no clickbait. I just wish it had like different features but you can play like games and talk to people, it’s so funny and it’s all worth it. You don’t have to pay do the app, nor do you have to pay for anything in the app. You should definitely download this app stereo, it will have you laughing so much that you start crying of laughter, so go ahead and download it, bc it definitely worth it.

Just a whole bunch of underage immature kids. When I started using stereo at the end of last year it was SO much fun! I got to converse W ADULTS & there was substance with the online community, okay maybe not much more but hey it was fun being with just the other adults. Until... an update that brought the 14 YEAR OLD demographic into the adult area! Stupid right? Now all you hear is immature tasteless annoying commentary from kids that have no business in posting "rate me" media for all people, including adults, to fall into & prey on. I'm disappointed in Stereo & if they separated the communities again I would download the app again & hang out.

Crazy Call Beeping ERROR📟. I really enjoy Using Stereo to Talk with New People in a safe way but this beeping noise that enters the room while on LIVE is ridiculously making me Reset my phone app for stereo every Login because it’s destroying my patience, listening to multiple beeping sounds that errors in a infinity ♾ beeping that won’t go away unless you reopen as a new app it’s really sad if it doesn’t get fix I’m sure other people have mentioned it to the developers but their too lazy to fix anything during holiday season it’s okay ✅ with me if you’re not willing to improve stereo but make we as consumers don’t notice their no updates for this issue at such a busy time of the year 🤦🏻‍♀️ smh

Awesome app BUT.... Hello! As a user of this app, I’ve liked it since the launch. I found it fascinating as well as social. However, I feel that there should be an option on whether or not to save the messages in the app. If not that then perhaps to delete the messages that features both accounts instead of one. For example, when a user deletes their message (audio) with another user on their account, it still remains on that other user’s account. Please do this, it could help with feeling of embarrassment.

Pretty nice! There's a problem though. It's good, very interesting concept, it's like normal social media but you can use your voice instead which helps you get your points through much easier. A problem with that though is that you only have 15 seconds to speak in a segment. Also, the problem with the 13+ verification. A lot of people that age or over don't have IDs, like me. I'm 14. I keep trying to verify myself with a student ID like that app said I could, but nothing happens and it just goes back to the "verify yourself" screen. Please let me back in the app.

2 stars stereo review. Great concept and decent connection servers. However they are fickle on what is appropriate content and what is not. You see shows with slur words as titles for shows and they encourage minors to participate without adult supervision. Not down with that. Engage in great conversations with some intelligent people or spend your time with cringy mentally off people the choices are available. I love stereo. My friends do too. But we don’t approve of their biased enforcement on terms and conditions and their allowance of derogatory slang on titles and show conversations.

Please fix the following/followers. It’s a great app, however could you please fix it to where the people we follow are in alphabetical order and we can see in that list who is currently live again? It’s a lot of work to have to sift through the whole app full of people to find those we have connected with and see if they are live if we don’t have notifications on. It would be good to be able to check our “following” list and see from that list if someone is live who we have previously connected with. Thanks, this would be a big help.

Love it. I love this app but there are some room for improvement for example as I’m typing this review I cannot see my text I don’t know if that’s on your end or my phones in and I don’t know if it will actually show up or not but that’s just a review issue has nothing to do with the app itself one thing I wish the app would do is give you the ability to have more than one account because some people like to have their alias account and some people like to have an account that is connected with their other social media platforms and sometimes people have to be anonymous to discuss important topics so I personally would like to have more than one account

Very hard to use and not "intuitive". The way this is marketed is "live podcasts". I understand that but even on live streams you watch online there is a function to pause the stream or to listen to past streams. This app has no pause button so if you want to listen to past shows you have to listen to the whole thing at once. The creators I want to listen to are in the UK so I can never "listen live" but would like to be able to listen when I get the chance but it's hard to do that with the way it's set up. It's also very hard to navigate around and there is no tutorial so you have to basically use trial and error to figure out how to work it.

Kinks and glitches. Overall I really enjoy the app. I joined to get over my fear of speaking to multiple people. I’m improving so much with my social anxiety. I stumble less over my words and speak more with confidence in my daily life. It’s a little surprising when the app glitches and I can’t press the button when people chime in or just kicks people off and you have to start over again. However it is improving and I can tell they are working to fix it.

It’s a fun idea with frustrating features. One thing that’s been pretty frustrating that I’ve encountered while listening back to past shows is the lack of a pause button. I think it’d be very beneficial for there to be one, in an easy to access spot. Another thing that would be nice is a rewind button. There’s one to fast forward 15 seconds, but it’d be cool for there to be one to go back 15 seconds as well, as I’ve found myself missing what the person said and wanting to hear it again. It’s a struggle and inconvenient to use the slider for this. Finally, I understand the goal of trying to get more people to listen to different streams they might not otherwise, but the feature that begins a random stream as soon as you enter the app is quite annoying. Perhaps if this stays, maybe the default could be for it to be muted when you open the app? Or give a list of popular streams at that moment instead? I just think that if people are discussing 18+ topics, you should have the option of when it’s played, rather than immediately and constantly while you’re browsing the app, as I’ve opened the app before and the stream I’ve been given were talking about inappropriate or “nsfw” things, and I wouldn’t want that to happen if I were around someone like a family member or someone in a public space.

Too inconvenient to use. I get what they are trying to go for with the name, Stereo. There’s no pause button, just like listening to live FM radio. I suppose you get a mute button, but it’s UI is counterintuitive, and why the heck would anyone want to mute but not pause?! Do app developers believe the audience wants to mute and miss part of the show, but not pause? There’s no volume equalization, so if a show has middling audio quality, you’ll be constantly adjusting the volume to hear what’s being said. Just like listening to FM radio. When one show ends (probably the one you follow), you are thrown into the middle of an unrelated live show with hosts you don’t follow and with no subject context. Just like changing radio stations, except you didn’t change anything. Worse still, when you open the app, it throws you into a random live feed where hosts are swearing and/or talking about sensitive subjects. Beware opening the app in certain environments, like a work office. For shows you do follow, the app doesn’t give you context if you’ve already listened to an episode or not. This app would’ve been good 10 years ago. But now we know how good live feeds can be with play-pause, forward/back 15 seconds, and skip-to-live functionality. Even though my favorite podcast is now producing a show on Stereo app (paid sponsorship), I’ve listened twice, but won’t again due to the above functionality limitations.

My voice impressions too good. My voice impressions are so good and believable that I got banned 😅😂 This app banns you if you change your voice!! So if one day you want to be funny and make a voice impression of cartoon character or if you want to talk like your favorite actor, SIMPLY DONT DO IT. You apparently not allowed to be funny in your own way. I was talking to friends and doing my voice impression they wanted me to do and then got banned because I was accused of going against there guidelines. There guidelines state you are not allowed to use any third-party tools, software for voice distortion or text-to-speech functionality are also prohibited. Which is simply all fare because I never used anything like that. I explained to support that I never broke any guidelines that what I was doing was simply my own voice. Without any proper investigation they still have me banned. So also in addition this means if you have any medical disability that prevents you from speaking and need to use equipment to speak such as a electro larynx -typically used for throat cancer patient you would be considered breaking there guidelines there for be banned. If you need your account back support is unwilling to help. Support team also does not like to read so they will copy paste most of what the previous support staff said and will not do any proper investigations.

Annoying to use. The lack of pause/play even when listening back to old shows is really annoying. I can pause the audio on my phone's dedicated audio control, but it creates a glitch where I then can't play it again -in my audio controls or in the stereo app. Lack of 15sec rewind is also irritating. If I missed something I have to slide the progress bar back, which throws me all over the place. Lastly and probably most annoying of all is the fact that I can't open the app without some random show auto-playing. I follow specific creators with content I like. I hate that my "home base" on the app is an endless steam of grabbing from people I'm not interested in. Either allow users to auto-mute shows they don't subscribe to or allow them to disable auto-play of such shows.

Amazing but here’s an idea. I love this app so far I joined this app September 11th and the first person I talked to was jake Marin and he is awesome!! As well as a a lot of other people I have talked to. But here is an idea I would like to throw out there instead of just the mouth moving on the avatar why not have the whole head move eyes and all you know what I mean!? I think that would be really cool. But either way this app is awesome and I know you can get paid on it but I just like talking to people and having some real good conversations on it!!

It good. Good app, great way to go live quickly and interact with people. Couple things that are annoying: you can’t pause and play old videos, wish there was a pause button. I also wish you could review your voice comment before sending it, as a first time user it was confusing and I accidentally sent a couple voice comments blank because I didn’t understand how to dele it. Over all it’s still a good app

Age restriction is annoying. On the apple App Store it says Stereo is for 17+ however when you download the app and put in your information it tells you that you need to be 18 in order to use the app. As a 17 year old this is very frustrating especially as it says 17+ on the apple App Store. I understand the need for an age restriction but I think it needs to be lowered to 15 or 16 and have content restrictions rather that restricting the use of the app itself. I would love to be able to do something in this app without having to wait a whole year till I turn 18 as it seems to be a really neat app and has been advertised to me multiple times without any warning of the age restriction.

Stereo is amazing. Stereo helps and inspires me everyday to be a better person love you boo 😘🍑🍑☄️😘app I got banned for no reason and even some of my friends also got banned for no reason. The admins never look into anything properly and never give you an explicit reason for your ban. If you are a content creator I highly suggest you don’t go near this platform and get another one because one of my friends on here said they deleted over 100+ hours of content for their show and never gave them a reason. No wonder I heard everyone I talked to said that the amount of users on this app has been dropping and will continue to. The idea of this app is great but the people running it are sick. Unless they fix these problems beware that all your content could be deleted from this app for no reason but a few trolls wanting to bring you down.

I love this app!. I love this app! It’s very fun and has a lot of good content. The concept is very clever but I do have a couple of suggestions. First, one recorded chats, developers should add a 15 second rewind button in addition to the 15 second fast forward button. Second, and I’m sure you get this all the time, you should add a feature to allow people to send private messages to one another. But maybe that’s part of the uniqueness of the app. Last suggestion... you should implement a way for the hosts to put a poll in the broadcast and allow the listeners to vote! I host a weekly broadcast that this would be very useful for. Just some thoughts. Otherwise, this app is awesome!

Found it on TikTok. Im having a blast with this app, i find people with humor, serious conversation or content, you can connect with others even if you just listen to them, they’re a few bugs but it don’t hurt no one, there are little kids here and there that are popping up, some can be rated R or E everyone just be-careful anyways IG: XerohYT

Great App. Needs a sleep timer please!!. Needs a sleep timer and it needs a pause for replay. It also needs an off button. I can turn off the sound but I think it’s still operating so then I have to quit it completely or I think it’s using battery power. Some people don’t know how to stop it so they delete it. I think you could keep those people with those functions. Also I’d like to choose to go I to the next replay in the list of the people I’m listening to (after replay or live) rather than go to some random people after my replay finishes. If I fall asleep I wake up with random people talking.

Blocked from streaming. Imagine a brand new user opens your application. He taps around a little bit and gets used to the interface, he listens to a few conversations, and decides to put himself out there in hopes of discussing anything freely. The conversation goes into discussing a hobby. Nothing illegal, nothing life endangering, just a simple discussion about amateur ham radio. Now I imagine in the middle of that short-lived conversation the discussion is abruptly disconnected and a pop-up states that your account has been blocked for 24 hours for violating guidelines.I’m sorry, but are you mistaking yourself for TikTok? I am uninstalling this application And I can only hope that others follow in my place.

Awesome!. This app is amazing and I bet it will be huge in the future. Here’s two recommendations though. First, I think it’s great that the creators can make money, but I don’t think it needs to be so emphasized with a leaderboard and stuff. Also, and this matters way more, is we need to be able to have more than two people at once. Maybe up to 5 or so

Stereo gives you running around. Hello everyone, I was happy with this app and people staring messing with you on this app and when you report them and the Stereo team say you violating the terms and conditions and when I send emails to explain they just push me aside and give me other excuses. I told if I did mess up I am sorry so can I come back to stereo or get my account unblock. I have not hear from them after I sent the email. They did not pay me my money and I am still waiting on my money. People on this app calling ladies and black ladies out of there names and then coving it up with the Bible they having sex talk senes on here xxxx version. It’s a whole lots going on here and I talk on it and I get block for talking about it others talk and do things on here and get away with it.

I AM CONCERNED. Hello my fellow Americans. I have been using this app for well over a month now. After initially being hooked to the app where I’ve had the opportunity to have so many interesting talks with a plethora of people from many different cultures, thoughts, and religious backgrounds during a pandemic and quarantine I stopped to realize something incredible DANGEROUS AND CONCERNING. This app is owned by a Russian Billionaire worth 1.5 a billion dollars. It was introduced to a extremely small town in Europe and then immediately mass marketed via Facebook & Instagram to the citizens of the US. 👀 Employees that work for this company who are predominately Russian run the leader boards. And if you speak about certain things concerning the conspiracy here they will follow you and track you. It’s extremely concerning. This app can be a tool for spying 👀 on US citizens. Why? I don’t know. Russia we see you! And yes the owner is Russian-British but he is Russian by loyalty and something is fishy with this app. Watch what you discuss and what you release when it comes to your information and deeply rooted thoughts 💭.

My opinion. I really love this app because I meant cool people and became friends with them and there all chill. I hope stereo gets more 5 starts because this is the best app to meet and be funny with other people at first I was like ehh I don’t know but when other people wanted to have fun I wanted to have fun as-well so thank you for the company to make this lovely fun app and allowing people to meet others to have fun!

So far so good BUT.... I actually feel this was a great development & right on time. With this pandemic we needed a additional way to connect with other people in a safe way. Some of the conversations have been very entertaining and enlightening. There has been some glitching that I and others have experienced. I had heard that this is due the app taking off so quickly & not quite being prepared for such a huge response. Soooo here’s the BUT... I feel the app is great BUT doesn’t really give others the opportunity to reach the $10,000. I personal don’t think I will because it does require an extensive fan base/huge number of listeners. Or you MUST have a good amount of time to dedicate talking to accumulate time. So with all of that being said... I feel the $10,000 should be maxed out per quarter. In other words, you can win that amount once every 3 months. This I feel will give others the opportunity to win that amount as well. I’m sure there’s much more to this app & I’ll definitely follow up when I gain additional experience with this app. Okay, so that’s my two cents. I hope this will be helpful to someone.

Very poor- Do not use. I tried to reach out to them to discuss an issue around there suppression of a private person’s opinion. Below is the note I sent to them. This app is very poorly run, and if you speak anything that their censorship team disagrees with they cancel you. I do not like or recommend this app at all is there any reason that you’re canceling people that have a discussion around the vaccine? Why did you block someone that just had an honest opinion? You’re supposed to tolerate opinions not delete them if you disagree with them update- People were banned who DID NOT GIVE MEDICAL ADVICE but were accused of. Unreal.

Stereo saved my life. Stereo saved my life! When I join stereo I was at the lowest of lows in my life. If it was not for stereo I may not be here. It gave me new meaning snd new love for life. It has brought people to me who I never would have meet if it wasn't for stereo. And some of these people I will have as friends for life. I love all the different shows that people can fo and express themselves. For me it gives a creative outlet that I needed while COVID was in effect! I love the solo broadcasting I love that we can have up to 5 people I am so glad they have implemented this . I am able to do solo shows for doing live concerts with my ukulele. The only feature I wish they would give is a way to record messages without holding it down the entire time and I would love to not have to use my big toe for recording when I leave a musical message. I hope that one day stereo will honor me with the coveted Checkmark and I am happy they monetized me and gave me the opportunity to be paid for something I love to do. Stereo is a community and that’s is the best part. Needs Alphabetized Lists and Desktop Apps. The Following list is alphabetized because it’s ideal for comparison and analysis. However, the Follower list is unsorted, first come, first served. As a suggestion, I think it’s ideal to sort both the Following and Follower lists alphabetically, for obvious reasons. Having to scroll up and down or typing names individually for comparisons is time consuming. I would argue everyone on Stereo would prefer a way to easily glance at each list to see whether those you Follow are also Following you. Finally, Stereo needs to invest in a Desktop app version for Mac OS and PC. Being limited exclusively to a smartphone is restrictive for several scenarios and often encourages if not requires an additional investment in several phone accessories for sound quality improvement. YOU MIGHT HEAR. claims of lives being saved, changed, or created from the accolades written in these reviews and I am lifting my dusty finger to express in writing how — well, at least for me — they were all true! Only wished I were able to “Stereo” the multitudes of gratitude for this platform and its community (don’t worry, you’ll get it) because once you’ve tried socializing this way it might feel hard to go back to voiceless mediums! Love tuning in to talk, look, and listen to what’s up around the world! HELLO!?

Get This App!. I love this app because it gives you a platform to be able to interact with other users in dialogue based off of topics that are prompted or you can choose your own to talk about and as an added bonus you have an opportunity to win cash prizes based on your use of the app! I’d say get on, listen as if it’s a live podcast or start your own and give people something interesting to listen to. There’s minor glitches between users but it’s still worth taking a look 😊👍🏾

Fix this please!. It’s dumb how someone can just randomly report you for being underage and then before you can confirm you age, you get restricted. I’m 21, but some jerk reported me for being underage, and now I can’t get back in. It’s should’ve pre verified my age based on my Apple account, this is stupid. I couldn’t even dispute this, they just restricted me for no reason. Why is this a thing? The user should at the very least have a chance to dispute it, or show proof, I.D., Passport, or Birth Certificate. Please fix this, because other users should not have control over this kind of thing; it should be dealt with by the app owners themselves.

It has good potential. This is not a platform ready for mass listeners But it’s really good for small groups under 500 listeners per podcast. It’s fun to see a new way people are able to interact and I think the feature of audio from the audience is very cool. One thing I would like is for the streamers or be able to preview the audios or pick one out if they have a queue of them. Maybe an option for them to listen to the audio before their listeners hear it, or maybe let the people sending in audio to the streamers add a title. So you can say I’m talking about the general topic or giving an answer to what was just mentioned. I think this would be something that really improves the experience for the creator and the users. Sometimes you get a troll or two and being able to preview their audio before playing it would be helpful. With more growth I'm positive it will be a platform that can handle more and more people and it seems like a cool place for people to get started as a small podcaster. Especially with covid and the need to social distance having it all so easy and accessible to just create a show and go is very nice.

Inconsistent enforcement of policies. Don’t make the mistake of changing names using the same account the app will permanently ban you & claim you have multiple accounts when that is not true but others have had multiple accounts which this app flagged & restored their original accounts. Further, the app does nothing to those promoting disinformation (against their guidelines) hate speech, bullying, and children and have not lifted a finger in enforcing their bullying, harassment & hate speech guidelines. This app will fail not because of the concept but for the unreasonable guidelines that are not enforced equally nor consistently. Better off deleting the app

It’s a really good app with lots of potential.. Some things I would suggest is try to branch out more, I’d love to see a lot more people using the app. Another thing is not seeing posts back from two weeks ago. I would like to see newer posts more frequently or have an option to where the newest posts show up on my feed. Other than that I could see it being a huge app, maybe as big as tiktok some day. I might invest

Use to be great, now it’s TRASH. This app used to be really awesome. It was different from all other apps which were mindless scrolling, vain postings and constant “content” overexposure. The app was a place to have good discussions, healthy debates and deep conversations. Now with recent updates they’ve allowed minors, uploading of TikToks and selfies which has turned the app into a cheap rip off of any other social media platform. Every post is some repost off of TikTok, people posting selfies as if this is instagram, kids posing asking you to rate them, underage girls posting themselves and their bodies/twerking, immature post/replies, and people fishing for engagement and not having anything meaningful to say or talk about. Stereo officially sold out and has become a dump of tiktok rejects. We didn’t ask for this nor do we want this. You’ve allowed yourselves to sell out and have kids ruin the app. Hope it was worth it

Toxic. The is the worst app I have ever had on my phone. 90% of the people on the app act like children. The rest are real underaged children that don’t belong on the app. Don’t expect to have a real conversation here. When you connect with someone, you will either get silence, fart noises, rappers, recorded music, people with their TV blasting so you can’t hear them, people who mumble or can’t speak English correctly, talk about private parts, racism against whites, the “N” word or just annoying people who say, “You know what I’m saying” 30 times per minute. The “contest” they have is next to impossible to make money with. It’s favored towards people who have a mysterious checkmark next to their name that isn’t widely known how to get. Celebrities like Paula Poundstone will come on and snatch all the prize money, anyway. Total waste of time.

Good but could be better. So much could make this an excellent app. Let people change who's on the call without losing all messages. Make it easier for listeners to see that a person or hash tag they are following is live. Have an alert that a listener missed a show so they know to go back and listen to the recording if they want. Don't give me an alert about what's trending if it's not something I follow.

Gardenclones. Love this app, meet so many people from the us, uk, and more, make great connections and have fun and make money while you talk. Stereo has been a great venue for me to talk about, just about anything especially when the pandemic hit. It’s a great way to make new friends. I recommend this app to anyone. I have low vision and have a hard time looking at other apps, with stereo being so unique on creating avatars and not a live screen is great.

Forced to hear garbage. I joined to hear Stradman, but I start Stereo and it immediately plays a random conversation, usually filled with expletives and conversations that I don’t want to hear. There is no pause button, so I rapidly try to find what I came for. There is no pause, even when closing the App. The UI is odd and cumbersome. It’s an App made for talkers, not listeners. There is no sense of Community. Just random talkers. It reminds me of old London with a person on a soapbox on every corner, yelling out doomsday warnings and conspiracy theories. I couldn’t find a theme that was interesting to keep me coming back for content.

Really awesome app, can’t wait for it to grow. Stereo is fascinating because it’s like talk radio for the internet! No more dialing in, just quick reactions and voice messages. My gripes are only being able to have a conversation with one other host, and the swiping card layout. It’s fun to be able to swipe through like that, but also having a list of trending or the most listened to podcasts in another tab would work better for discovery of new voices. I’m hyped for the future of Stereo!

A Lifesaver!. When Covid started it was a very depressing time for many, myself included. I had recently became sober. So the options to keep myself busy were slim. I'd always had a love for podcasting. But didn't know where to begin. Then I discovered Stereo. A whole new world opened for me. Stereo made it so easy to learn how to podcast, create content and meet great people. And it also helped me through my sobriety. I'm 9 months sober now and I owe a lot of it to Stereo! Thank you Stereo!

Welcome to Stereo. The app has a lot of potential. But it also needs a lot of work. Right now the ability to connect social accounts is broken. And when the lives get more than 20 ppl it starts to lag, like a lot. There should also be some sort of incentive for listeners as well, maybe not cash but something else. Also, i noticed most of the active ppl of the app don’t have a verified check, and think top 25 users should have them, because those are the ppl on the app listening or drawing ppl in with their live.

Terrible App. If I could give it a 0/5 I would and this app is really just trying to be like Tik Tok but anyways I thought this app was gonna be fun but all it is, is a bunch of girls showing there bodies in bikinis and their butts and this app really isn’t for kids like it says (13 years old is still a kid). There are 8 and and 9 year olds on the app seein that stuff so this app really should be 17+ and not 12+. That’s not even all there is too it that’s only half of the videos they show you there’s also a lot of school fight videos and fighting videos where some of the people get killed and the creators just laugh abt it it’s disturbing imo. There are some people who try to make it wholesome but it just ends up in a big fight with a lot of cursing.

This is a great idea.. This is a few suggestions that I think could help. I think a good idea would be to add an option to type in your own topic so that people can have a better understanding of what you’re talking about, it it would help people understand what’s happening in the room without someone having to stop and continuously remind people what they’re talking about or what the subject is. The other option would be instead of having the message option or in addition to the message option allow people to have someone kind of call in for like two minutes, I think this could help dialogue. Obsessed is truly an understatement.. Seriously, downloading this app is the best thing i’ve done all of 2022!!!! I have connected with so many people around the country & even made friends along the way. Even better, whenever I need to get something off my chest or when I have something on my mind… I know exactly where to go. Stereo is such an amazing and authentic community and I would encourage anybody to come be apart of it! :)))

Total Door Buster!!. I am in love with this app!!I think that this is a total game changer when it comes to social media content creation and bridging the gap between people around the world! I think it’s extremely helpful to have something like this especially today where people are isolated because of COVID-19. I love that I have the opportunity to have a conversation with people I otherwise would have had the opportunity to do so. The app allows me the creative freedom that I want as far as creating a brands for my wellness practice! One thing that I would like to suggest the app do is find a better vetting process for verifying peoples age when they download the app. We all know that kids are being affected by the lockdown as well and want to socialize however this is not the place! I think that there needs to be a vetting process that is more thorough so we can keep kids under the age of 18 out of the community. Outside of that, I think the app is amazing and I look forward to seeing where it continues to grow.

My favorite app by far. I literally love this app I always use it while I’m at school to watch videos and im even pretty sure I’ve used stereo more than TikTok which is kinda crazy because im addict to TikTok. It at the same time stereo has so many interesting videos!!! Refuses to work. I am rather disappointed, to be frank. This is the first poor review I have ever given on the App store. However, I am motivated to write this review precisely because I was really enjoying the first 6 hours of usage, as opposed to some terrible apps which I have installed in the past which were poorly made. The performance was smooth, the controls were nice (apart from the difficulty in pausing already recorded podcasts), the UI clean, and the idea was really interesting. However, I dropped in last night hoping to explore further when the app started to perform what I would suppose would be its version of a “wheel of death”. This morning, the same phenomenon occurred. I tried reinstalling the Stereo multiple times, wherein a different version of the “wheel of death” took place (if you’ve already logged in, a white sheen flashed over two empty profiles-if you’re yet to log in, two dots cycle around each other). I left those dots rolling for five minutes on the third attempt before writing this review. They’re still rolling now. I’m hoping someone will reach out to me to let me know how I can fix this. I’m happy to send over the details from the application my iPhone. Hopefully, I will be able to enjoy the next podcast I was scheduled to attend. One more note- I would also ask for the ability to add multiple languages to a roster, i.e. being able to flick between an assortment of podcasts speaking your selected languages, rather than needing to restart the application for your chosen language. This would be particularly appreciated for multilinguals at night, when there are fewer podcasts available.

Figure out who your target audiences are. My younger brother is a huge fan of a YouTuber and when he saw that there was a chance to ask them a question, he jumped at the opportunity. Might I say that he idolises this person, to the point that when he saw he was too young to listen to a *family-friendly* YouTuber, he was gutted and frustrated - even though I was able to download the app, he still was disappointed he couldn’t just have it on his own phone. Remember that some of the people you sponsor on YouTube have young viewers and would be thrilled to ask them questions, yet are blocked by a age barrier. My suggestion would be that these creators/influencers would need to instead indicate if they wish to have an age limit to their livestream prior to beginning, therefore allowing their full audience to attend and interact. Fix this - as many others have the same ideology as this and would be thrilled to see the correction.

Beware!!. The people working behind the scenes are woke leftists who favour certain groups off people by allowing hate speech on their platform (even though they claim in their T&C’s they don’t) and will permanently ban others for minor things that are unrelated or don’t fit their agenda. Another woke platform. It’s also rife with underage children on the app interacting in talks with gown adults. It disgusts me. Stay away and keep your children safe from a place like this that is turning into something like omegal has done with children. Can’t wait to see what your ambiguous excuse is under this review stereo. What ever it is you should be shut down and hopefully I have a part to play in that with filth like this accessible to kids.

Fine. Ive used this a few times to watch dan and phil, and its worked pretty well i guess. as an app that allows individuals to submit their own short messages its a great way to engage and connect with viewers. i also like that you can listen to it outside of the app itself. there is some downfalls, age limit should be taken down a little to 15 or 16 at least, i cant see really any need to have it at 18. I don’t like that it automatically connects you to a stream, it should come up with options or some other thing. in one stream that i was watching it kept cutting out a little and there was also an echo but idk if that was stereos fault. and i also think you need to experiment a lil with styles and add more options to your character customisation, my hair cannot match mine and my lips look a lil strange. overall its an alright app to go on and talk to or listen to some of your favourite social media influences. lets be honest i would of given it a 3 star if i wasn’t biased.

Can’t sign up without cellphone number.. Why do all apps do this nowadays? I can’t afford texting or cellular service. I was really excited to use this app & send a message to one of my favourite creators, but am not able to do this. Because I have email, not a phone number. Why do apps alienate an entire user base by doing this? Instant uninstall because I can’t use the damn thing without a phone number. Very frustrating to not be able to use apps anymore. Great app but it’s missing a core piece. Great app overall very simple and easy to navigate .. but I do think it’s missing the ability to make shows by yourself, like Instagram live.. it makes sense for me to be able to create a title for my show and talk about things important to me and have people engage back with text and voice comments... instead this app shifts through random people hoping to find someone to talk to. Stereo keeps glitching and removing people. I love the people on the app and a lot of the podcasts but lately I go to watch a show that says is live and it’s keeps on glitching and repeating the same conversation even though it’s live. And they keep removing good podcasters because they swear or say something people don’t like what they say and they cancel them. It’s getting tiring. If you don’t like what someone’s saying then just go to a different podcast. It’s not that hard lol. But the app is almost unusable due to bugs lately.

Why can’t there be a email address so we can sign up for the app. I saw an ad on TikTok about this app and I was honestly pretty excited to use the app because the ad was pretty funny, but when I wanted to sign up I needed to use my phone number but that wouldn’t be problem if I had a phone number. (I’m getting a phone number soon though) I wanted to sign up on email instead but it didn’t give me a choice which was kind of weird because why does an app have a number to sign up on but not an email which doesn’t really make sense in my opinion.

Radio's sucessor. This app is groundbreaking, it creates a podcast environment where people can simply discuss topics through the internet without needing to find and setup someone to talk to like a guest for a podcast. A tad bit confusing to use at first but from my experience on an iPhone 8 no bugs.

Was good app but then ugly changes came. This was a very promising app. I started to really like Stereo,and it was going so so well. I took a few months off due to work and personal life. So when I went back to stereo recently I was absolutely shocked and disappointed!!! Not sure when this new update with videos and photos came but it has absolutely downgraded the app experience. First of all, with the new update it’s really hard to understand what the heck is going on with each post because of messiness. The app is messy, very very messy. Not clean, not easy to navigate how it used to be. I also don’t wanna hear the video’s noises AND people trying to voice comment. It just messy. Posting quality is really bad. People are posting really low quality videos and photos. Why?! Why do we need this on stereo?! Which literally means audio, not photos, not videos but stereo aka SOUND… I really liked Stereo when the app just had a simple scrolling feature with little rectangular icons and buttons. It was so simple and easy to navigate, the simplicity of chiming in into random conversations, it was welcoming, it was actually quite perfect. This new version is basically tik tok replica. WHY? Developers, please stop copying other platforms. Stereo was good enough because it was somewhat original and interesting. Now it has lost its charm, now it’s just really really bad low quality posts with horrible videos or pictures. The quality of the current app is absolutely garbage. PLEASE, developers fix this asap. Otherwise you’re going to self destruct, and that’s too bad, because Stereo had(has*) actual potential. What I like about stereo is our avatars and how they interact when comments are published. I love the older version. If this is not fixed soon I’ll just find another platform that was similar to the old stereo version.

No Privacy. This apps privacy is a joke. They say they need your phone number to make sure your not a robot. Most services allow you to sign up with Gmail or Facebook etc The big trusted companies allow you to add a phone number as an option for a second layer of verification. I don’t share my phone number with every company that ask so I can’t even open the program. Then they access your contacts. This is absurd. All your contacts have your number already. So you and your contacts can chat by voice or chat all day without any app having access to all your private information. I could list alternatives all day that don’t ask for your private information. D live YouNow Twitch etc This app is a just a wanna be with phishing potential. Steer clear is my opinion.

Screwed over creators. Forgot to update my review. I began as a paid creator and watched them slowly dismantle the fun connecting aspects of the site to make it a money competition. The sort of this that promotes inflammatory speech and lowest common denominator shows. Then they announced with zero fan fare ir warning that the paid creators could just compete for money. Imagine going to work one day and being told “we’re not going to pay you anymore, but if you can beat your coworkers in a race one of you will get paid!”

Terrible new update. Writing this review to address the issues with the recent update. •You have to call in twice to be on the panel due to audio issues. • Muted with no action by self or admin. •garbled audio during live sessions. •admins need to have control of channels. •if you’re blocked by one person, should be blocked from any love that person comes into. Please resolve these issues. We thoroughly enjoy the app but the new update is bringing a plethora of issues that are quite aggravating.

It’s not a bad app by any means. I do however have a few issues with the app and the brand itself. On the app when I posted I would get no views, which just left me bored with having an account. There is other things to do such as reply to someone else’s video, but when you aren’t getting replies yourself you don’t want to reply to others. Another issue I have is the advertising for this app. Most advertisements I’ve seen for this app promotes cyber bullying, which isn’t cute or funny.

Good but still needs a lot of development. Great app and if you invest enough time and are an Interesting person you can make a nice income the only problem I have is the live system. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone who can keep the conversation going. I wish you could do solo live streams. Please add this feature!

Stereo doesn’t care about Minorities!!!!!. The app worked fine on iPhone 6. They are trying to silences the voices of the people of lower income who are historically brown, Latino , and discriminated against!!!! I used the new version of the app AND IT IS WORSE THAN THE OLD VERSION!!!! You have to wait for 10 min to talk to someone who wants to talk about Starbucks, and the new Spider-Man movie. This started as real platform of discussion and ended up being a platform for the popularity of vapid conversation!!!

Different but Interesting and Surprisingly Fun. I only downloaded this app due to Andy Stumpf and the Cleared Hot Podcast. At first I thought it was a bit weird to navigate and the avatars were different. But over time with a few uses I’ve come to find the app easier to navigate and the avatars oddly entertaining and humorous. I still only listen to Andy Stumpf on here but have been satisfied with the app overall.

Great concept, can use improvement. The stereo app is a great place to go to see and say funny stuff. Although it is really cool, it’s hard to see what you want. I want to be able to sort by new stuff, instead of getting the same repetitive garbage in my fyp.

Banned wrongfully. I thought this app was really cool, having avatars talk when you do. However one major problem I have faced is people who think I am a minor, I am 20 turning 21 and my account was deleted for supposedly being under 18. I was already frustrated with people just skipping cause I sound young but I was able to talk to some great people about life. But now when I was talking to my boyfriend on it I was banned. Kind of disappointed.

Question. I was so excited to use it but I accidentally put the wrong date for my birthday and now I can’t get in un till September which is six months from now do u know how to change it back(not a bad review just a question)

App is great but more people need to be able to use it at once and recording!!. There needs to be more than 2 people at one time making the podcast. It would bring more diversity, opinions, and more interactive fun on the podcasts!! Friends and family could better use the app to its full potential. Is the only way to have podcasts live? Y’all should really allow ppl to edit or record what they want!! This allows flexibility for users and gives listeners playback features.

Kicks me out when trying to create new account. RESOLVED: I updated to current operating system and that fixed it. When I enter my birthday as I sign up for a new account on my iPhone it kicks me out.

It’s okay for a while…. It’s really fun at first. And you might use it for a few days, But after about a week I just forgot about it instantly. Me and my friend group are trying to start a podcast where we can openly talk about what goes on in the world, but I noticed that the stereo app only allows for 2 people in a podcast at a time. Is there any way y’all can add a new feature that allows multiple people in a podcast at one time?

Great thing.. It’s not too often I actually rate and review and app. In this case, I started out on stereo back in October. I am only now reviewing because I wanted a good review to be formed. I think they are an amazing app and a great way to form lasting binds with people. They have definitely springboards a lot of things for me because of the meeting people aspect. How do you type or use filters?. People saying to type out comments for the voice filters but when i click the voice filter nothing happens. Even when i do my own voice with the filter applied still nothing?

Irritated Age. 5 star only to show importance. The limit has to be 13+ and I’m turning 13 this year but because I’m twelve now I can’t use my phone number on this app anymore, so I have to use my mom’s and bother her while she is at work for a verification… so unfair

The Bomb Dot Com!. It’s simple — talk! I am super grateful for this app to broaden the horizons of what I want in a random point in time of the day in my life compared to the other apps that have different features, which can be easily overwhelming. it’s a straightforward way to connect, which is what I believe social media is simply for.

Kinda fun. New interface makes no sense. Kind of fun app to have conversations on all things deep or senseless. Minimal trolls. Convos often repetitive. They changed the layout so that it makes no sense though. You have to scroll through inactive conversations, scheduled conversations, random sound bites to get to actual live conversations happening now. Why did they do this? I guess to make us have to scroll through and see more crap we’re not interested in. 🙄

Frauds that violate their own policy. This app is a closed circuit that only benefits people that pay them through the shady British law-firm that “owns” them and the developers are crooks stealing our talents and not giving us any rewards. Apple remove this app. They violate privacy they don’t enforce their own policy, they refuse to validate real talent except those that promote sex and drug use, they lie to their users and keep real talent coming back with their hand out. This app is the worst and they are suppressing anyone that speaks out which violates freedom of speech. Investigate them and shut them down. Thank you.

The ‘Lives’. I love the app, and everything about it don’t get me wrong, however when we are on lives, the talking is behind on their action and stuff. Like, when you join a live and they want you to be a speaker as well but they’re talking about a complete different subject while you’re sitting there, not knowing if you should join or not.

5 Stars!. Stereo is awesome! It is a great way to connect with friends and meet new people! I have had multiple wonderful conversations with people near & far! Also, the soundbites feature is amazing! It’s so fun to leave a comment and hear other people’s perspective on the same topic! Great app!!

Where can they improve?. I am not sure where they should focus, I like the app but I do not have a desire to open up the app as often as some other competitors. I like each update that refines the experience but it feels like there is something missing still and I don’t have the answer.

Twangyi. The app definitely has gone through a lot since it’s inception in 2020. All I can say is networking! Is key on this app. But mad tons of cool friends! The app has gone through many variations and hopefully will still continue!

A haven for pedophiles and conspiracies. I was a Stereo user for the better part of 2 ish years and got verified. Stereo is a place where pedophiles run wild while allowing children on the application. During my time at Stereo, I listened in to Domestic Violence, a user named FoodFamousTexas preaching that it’s fine to marry a child and blatant racism that Stereo has participated in and the non compliance of privacy CCPA laws. In fact, Stereo is very well aware of all of this and do nothing. This unchecked behavior almost drove a couple of Stereo users to suicide because the constant bullying left the app and Stereo does ZERO about any of it. This is an extremely dangerous application that might as well act as a virus since we have no idea where our data is doing ! STAY AWAY ! For the users still there or previous users , contact Oscar G , it’s time to send these people to court for the mental and emotional DAMAGES they provided a platform for.

Kinda wish it had an email option instead of number. It seems really cool and fun but my phone has restrictions and my phone number isn’t working to get into the app so I might just use my friends number, I kinda with it had an option for my email instead of number

Works fine but..... I started using it earlier today, only to get banned for 24 hours after an hour of talking. I wasn’t talking about anything bad. I heard other people on the app swearing and talking about sex, dating, politics and other things like that so I spoke rather freely. If others don’t get banned for that but I somehow do? I don’t understand. I really like the app and want to continue using it but I don’t really like the idea of being banned for 24 hours without knowing why and without a way to fix it.

Hands-down, this is trending. The app is full of network, possibilities, plenty of current event, discussions, and a variety of different topics under the your own. I highly recommend if you need a break from your normal social media platform.

this is not the future of podcasting. The ignorance of the people behind this product astonished me. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND GOOD CONTENT THAT IS ALSO LIVE. Whenever somebody opens this app, chances are that they'll walk into some boring conversation because 90% of the content that is happening live is trash. Furthermore, who in their right mind feels comfortable spontaneously talking for two hours while trying to be entertaining? Shut this app down now before everybody leaves. soon enough, the only people left will be lonely people that only post sob stories on social media.

It’s a good app but it has some bugs. I really enjoy this I’ve been being able to talk to different people, but it’s a little bit frustrating when you get into a really good conversation and then the app says that you lose connection and you know it’s not because of your Wi-Fi or your cell phone provider. You don’t have any real explanation why this is going on but other than that this is a pretty good app. I just hope they fix the bug so!!!

Racism and bullying. I would put this away five stars if it weren’t for all the race schism and bullying. The only reason I gave it any stars at all is because the way the set up is really neat. I think all the features of the app is great. It’s easy to navigate an easy to use. I only made three friends, the rest of the people or just racist and rude. Please upgrade the moderation on the app. Thank you

Stereo just got even better!. I love chatting with people from all across the globe, but sometimes I honestly don’t want to have a full on conversation with people. Lovin the sound bites where it’s just quick blurbs and quick convos that are honestly so hilarious, people are so witty nowadays

I can talking. All time I can talking when normal the ppl run away like I have many virus or something. Now ppl do the go away and a new ppl pop in with cartoon face! Clapper hands and fireball fly at face when ppl in shadows approve! Great many happy so much talking! Really butters my anus.

Only one chance??. When I tried to join I put that I was 12. Because it says 12+. When I go confirm it the app says I have to be 13+. When I tried to restart it by deleting it and re downloading it on it still says I have to be 13+. Why say 12+ if it’s 13+ I was just hoping to make some new friends and have new interest in things I never tried.

Ya I’m getting a little frustrated trying to find out why I’m banned for “L👁fe. So ya for some reason I can listen to other podcast but I cannot join or start my own. A message comes up saying not only that I’m banned but that it’s permanent. I think I at least deserve an explanation ASAP. Otherwise I will be forced to pursue legal action. Sexual favors Ad from children. I did love the app when I used it, however, one of the recorded questions we received wasn’t a question at all, it was an ad. The ad was of a young child moaning and offering sexual favors. This is unacceptable practice. Firstly, find a better way to filter ads (not as fake audio questions during a live broadcast), it’s desperate and leaves Stereo clearly unable to filter ads, or whatever that was.

this app is horrible. i can’t believe how horrible this app is and the little repercussions ppl get. every time i go through the app. i see someone body/face shaming the person who posted themselves. i rarely see ppl complimenting others, unless they’re literally beauty standard pretty. it’s crazy to see these teenagers are able to shame and bully ppl for they way others look with little to no repercussion. this app is pro-shaming for ppl who love to shove their insecurities on others. this app needs a better ruling system, we need ppl checking the comments and banning ppl from the app. it’s plain up disgusting what ppl say about others, it’s even more crazy that ppl will agree and laugh about it. there seems to be no authority on this app. if i can give this rating a 0 i would. this app can be good but the ppl on it are ruining it. you’ll get bullied for just defending the poor person getting body shamed or harassed. i would love to enjoy the app and it’s a great concept but it’s hard to enjoy with all these self-centered teenagers. with great intent pls fix the app!!!
