This is an amazing app idc what y’all say. This app is great, I haven’t had any issues with it so far and it works wonders. Servers show nicely with even the server picture next to the name, and messages are sent without delay. The only thing I’ve noticed was that it takes some time to load the messages in a server when you first open the channel but that’s not an issue at all to me. I’m excited to see the future updates involving voice chat with this app. Thank you developers :)

Disappointed. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to access my servers since about a week after purchase and while I did receive a response when asking for help, there was no fix and I was banned from the help server despite never being part of it. I’d love to be able to give this a higher rating but seeing as I can’t use the app, it didn’t feel appropriate. Hoping it starts working again eventually!

Good app but amazing dev. Mini discord has some serious potential to be amazing but at the moment it lacks features like voice chats that will be added later on. The dev is what really sold me on the app. He's constantly active on the discord server and communicates everything that is happening with mini discord.

Fixed Crashing Bugs?. I was excited to see in the latest update the “crashing bugs were fixed” so I decided to buy this app. I can confirm that the crashing bugs have not been fixed as every time I open the app, it does not stay open for longer than 20 seconds. I apologize for the one star, but I could read messages already on my watch through Discord notifications, however, I wanted to be able to send a response on my watch. By crashing every few seconds, this app gives no functionality I did not already have.

Works well. I posted a review a minute ago complaining about not being able to log in and demanding a refund, then realized it was cause I hadn’t updated the app and that’s my fault for not paying attention. The app works well, and I enjoy it.

i cant use it. i was trying to log since i deleted it (it never worked so i deleted and reinstalled) but when i tried to log back in, it said i needed to complete a captcha? I cant do that on the watch though and thought it may be something i can do on my phone and it’ll sign me in but it didn’t. how do i complete the captcha????

Perfect for Apple Watch. I downloaded minidiscord for my Apple Watch, and I love it. For Christmas, it was $2.99 instead of $3.99 which may not seem like a lot, but still that was pretty cool. I was surprised how small it is, how tiny the community is—it really is a very cool and useful app. I noticed a lot of people mentioned bugs and crashing, but so far it runs very smoothly. 10/10

Awesome App!. I love this app, it always works. The only issue is the rate limiting, but the owner said they would fix that! I recommend getting this app, it works, and the money is worth it.

Doesn’t work... anymore. Yeah, the thing is nice but 1. Where do you even send messages? 2. It works for a day.. then it is just junk taking up space. I can’t even find my group dm anymore. Can you fix this bug? It always crashes and never shows my groups

Stop one staring it. This person is working hard and I don’t see anybody else making a discord for Apple Watch, it has amazing potential and for the bugs and stuff he/she is actually responding to the community and is fixing them just join the discord and have a little patience.

Broken App. Tried restarting my phone and Apple Watch. Tried WiFi and Cellular. Tried the QR and the text input. It doesn’t work. I was looking forward to using Discord on my Apple Watch but this is just a buggy mess. Wish Discord would make an official app...

Overall a really good app with a few small bugs here and there. A few small problems to work out but overall good. I would like to have VC support someday.

It Kinda Works. It works but you can never use two step verification again if you want it to. You have to turn off two step to sign in and if you turn it back on the app goes blank until you turn two step back off. Other then that it kinda works just slow on my Series 3 but expected since it’s pretty old.

Nothing loads. I recently got this app, no matter how many bars I have, full bars it never loads. The servers will load but I can never fully load dms without my watch turning off. Would not recommend at all.

Good app Despite’s load time. Load times can be high if your in a lot of servers or have a lot of dms

Decent App. If you want to get this I would recommend it. But it takes some troubleshooting for it to work. I was trying to login on cellular data and it didn't work. But when I logged in on wifi it worked. The app works quite well and isn't too slow but support is really slow. I understand that they have lives and all but i've been waiting a long time for a response.

A little buggy, but it’s getting there!. It’s an awesome idea, with an even better community surrounding it. It has some bugs, but they are working hard to fix it.

Really good and something about voice chat. This app works just like discord. You can see images, scroll back in messages, send messages, and go through servers. The voice chat doesn’t work yet, but judging on their update schedule, voice chat might be available in a few weeks or less. Really good app, basically discord on your watch.

Server Issues. I’m having some issues with servers. I tap on a channel and it brings me to the incorrect channel. I would really want this fixed, Thanks.

The best discord app for Watch. Never seen better! I can chat and do almost everything on here! Would rate 10/5 but I can’t.

Fine but never shows servers. Overall it’s not a bad app if someone messages you first. If you’re just trying to go in and check your server to see what people are saying good luck with that because it will refuse to load and just start repeating the same loading icon over and over and over. Really disappointed at that part not working. Would love to easily give it a four or a five star but with the servers the way they are it’s hard to give it more than a two or three

Couldn’t Login. I opened the app, logged in, disappointed to see an error message. I did all of the steps, still nothing. I will not give a 1 star rating because I am sure it works fine.

Was hoping this would be my discord solution... I was very excited to see that there was an Apple Watch solution for discord. Not sure why their official app hasn’t implemented this. However, after buying and installing this app...it doesn’t really do much for me. Every time I try to load into messages, it crashes. I’ve only been able to successfully load messages once and then it crashed. No notifications either. I just want to be able to browse channels and respond to DM’s or mentions! :(

Not working. It was working well for awhile. Now all of a sudden, it takes forever to load and most of the time it doesn’t even load at all. It just shade the same loading symbol over and over again. Please fix and I will make my rating 5 stars. Thank you in advance

Useful App, but Keeps Crashing randomly.... I love this app, it’s ver handy; however, it keeps crashing randomly, making it almost impossible to send messages at times. Also, an edit feature for text and rich text formatting support would be nice additions.

Not at a state it should be sold in. So I really like the concept of having discord on my watch, however this app is just not what it promises. Constant delays on updates, broken promises, updates that don’t actually fix anything and sometimes even break the app completely. I’ve had this app for awhile now, and I still have yet to actually use it once. They devs are nice but simply refuse to take responsibility, every time the app breaks or there’s a feature that isn’t working, it’s “apples fault” or “discord’s fault”. It’s just a buggy unusable mess and when I can actually get the app to open its soooo laggy that you can’t even use it. I have the newest Apple Watch and they tried blaming the lag on having an older watch. This app should either not cost money in its state, or it should be taken down off the App Store until it’s actually working. I’m surprised Apple lets them sell it to be honest. Also I have no gripe against anyone on the dev team nor people in their discord. I simply have been repeatedly let down and led on to believe I shouldn’t return it because it will work “soon”. Short review: app doesn’t actually work, like seriously. IT DOES NOT. You can’t login most the time, and the devs rely on you constantly uninstalling and restarting your watch to try to fix it yourself. I’m over it and I wouldn’t recommend it. 0/10 if I could.

Voice channel. Please add the voice channel if possible. That was the only reason why I bought this app (hoping it would happen).

App crashes :/. I was excited for this app but unfortunately it keeps crashing and when I first downloaded it, I couldn’t even see any on of the servers I was in. Not worth your money Apple Watch gets discord notifications just fine... the app is a great concept but it’s just not there yet it keeps crashing and I can’t ever get it to work right. As of June 2020 apps isn’t functioning correctly. So please don’t spend your money, it’s not worth it.

It’s getting better. Before the helpful updates the app was unstable, prone to crashing. Now crashing has been getting rarer and I hope that more features get added.

Can’t Look at Discord Servers. Haven’t been able to look at the servers since the update three weeks ago. Every time I try to click on a topic I’m taken to another random topic in the same server. Please fix this. Update: I received a response from the developer saying this has been fixed, and it has, but now you can’t reply on the servers. Please fix.

Thank you for developing!. Really appreciate you making this app! There’s some improvements I would make but overall I’m really glad you made this app otherwise I wouldn’t be able to communicate in servers on my watch. Changes I would make: Is there anyway you can make make push notifications? I only get them from the actual discord app which I can’t respond in. Also, if there’s a way to show where new conversations have been posted like in actual discord (where the channel is a brighter white then the rest) that would be great! Keep up the good work and thank you for doing this! Otherwise I wouldn’t have a discord on my watch!

Love it. I honestly love this app. It’s convenient especially while I’m working and can’t pull out my phone. I’ve had no crashes or any of the bugs the bad reviews have mentioned and even if I did the dev responds quickly in their discord.

One urgent suggestion please read!. This app is borderline perfection. I mean everything for the server ui to the dm section is great. Other than being able to show gifs and videos there is nothing else I could ask for except one thing. Add a complication to the watch face that can bring you not just into the app, but into your most recent or favorite server. So I don’t have to go app>server>channels>text channel every time. This would be so great. Love this app though!

App Works Well!. I was skeptical to try this app, given the number of negative reviews. But without an alternative, I decided to splurge and give it a try! So far it has worked well! I can see my servers, DMs, and all the messages in my servers. Responding works well; messages send quickly. 2FA works with QR! Some things like reactions would be nice to have, but I can live without. But from what I saw in the app description, these features are in development! Thank you for building this great app, and also for not collecting any data from it!

Great app in about a month.. The developers are constantly working on it and I’m happy to say that even with the steep price tag it’s incredibly convenient to be able to be able to view Discord simply from your wrist. Long term I’d love to see VC be possible, but more than that I’d like gifs and other files to be viewable, and server folders would be fantastic.

Discord for Apple Watch. Best app ever if you don’t feel like using your phone, but rather your watch to use discord. Definitely one optimization is needed, then it’ll be buttery smooth! Other than that this app is awesome and I cannot wait to be able to use it to join voice channels soon across discord servers. Highly recommended!

Terrible…. Can’t even get past the login, tried everything just bugs and makes me enter it over and over, beware, it’s probably stealing logins. Change ur password if you were tricked into using this.

Completely horrible. I been looking for a good app that I can check discord and really there’s barely any choices. I would have thought this would be worth it since it has a little bit more ratings but I was completely wrong. If able, I will be looking into getting my money back

PLEASE FIX. I wanted to text my friends with my watch who didn’t have cellular, this was the only app I found and swallowed the 4.00$ price, this app is completely unusable, I log on and after 7 closes I still can’t use it, if this was a free app then I would just delete it and forget about it, but this was 4.00$. I want a refund because I didn’t get ANYTHING That I was promised! Or fix the apps bugs!

Pretty Good, but lots of bugs.. This app really has potential. I love the idea of having Discord right on my watch. Except, it has lots of bugs and flaws that are yet to be fixed. Whenever I open the app, neither the server nor the dms show. In the beginning it showed once right after I installed the app. But since then it is not showing anymore. Will be waiting for updates and fixes for this app.

Crashes :(. I really want this app to work because I use discoed for majority of my work. I just bought an Apple Watch 5th gen yesterday and installed it. The server messaging works most of the time, but the private messages crashes the app any time I try to open them. Really hoping it’s fixed soon because I’d love to use discord on my watch!

Get the job done.. The app is very sketchy but very convenient. Can check and reply to all my servers. Voice channel, text channels, an more. Needs more polishing and bug fixes. App crashes 2/3 times before actually working. Overall great job. Keep pushing updates and bug fixes. enrich the UI, delete button does not work, when typing.

Developer!!!. For starters this app is OK, the crashing bugs were fixed but every so often the servers glitch out and are just blank. The app also freezes a lot but is overall more stable. What is definitely bad is that you can access all the channels in a server including staff and private channels that you should not have access to. Please remove this feature as it is considered an invasion of privacy. Thank you! Edit: Thanks for info 5 stars now

Good but lacking. I was so happy when I found this app but it’s lacking in a few areas. I’m not getting push notifications on my watch, so I never know when people are texting me, which defeats the purpose of downloading this to my watch, and it recently started to crash every time I go to type a reply. Pls fix.

It works!. Rating 4 stars because the app sometimes crashes but it works and gets the job done.

Bad experience. I am also experiencing the same issue on my Apple Watch Series 4. I open the app and it crashes within 15 seconds. Please fix this. It shouldn’t be a paid app if it crashes as soon as you open it. Actually, it shouldn’t even be an app.

Some fixes u can do. Can we please be able to message people that are offline, and when someone messages you, it pops up on the Contacts page up top.

Nice little app. Makes checking servers and dms on the fly real easy. It is kinda klunky, but due to hardware limitations of the watch, this is to be expected. All I’m waiting for is for vc support, and being able to play audio files would be nice.

Just what you need. The app does all that it is supposed to do. The updates have made it a lot more stable and reliable. It does take a little while to load servers/dms but they do work. This app is an efficient way to respond and view discord messages.

Still crashes. Even after the new update, the app crashes after a minute.

Not very good. I logged in and it did not show my servers or my messages.

It’s better, but.... It’s still crashing a fair bit on my watch. It’s certainly faster and much more legible now but the crashing is still there. You’re doing a very good job and it’s coming along well.

Needs to be updated?. Just purchased and logged in, I’m shown 2 “dummy” severs and messages refuse to load. Does the app need to be updated?

Not functional. I restarted my watch, enabled, disabled, all of my connectivity settings (wifi, cellular, Bluetooth). The app does not load at all. I can see the main menu with settings, servers and messages but nothing else. It just won’t load.

Pretty good. Works pretty well overall please just add voice calls

Latest fixes improve Watch app!. My main use case for this app are DMs on my Apple Watch. While it’s missing voice chat features, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me. REVIEW UPDATE 9.5 Since the last version a week ago, the developer has fixed quite a number of issues! Consider me impressed, and thank you for resolving the main pain points! They’ve resolved the following: - Numerous crashes - Added the loading spinner - Caching the contacts and servers - Missing contacts seem to be there now, but you need to go to the settings screen and increase the DM contact load count - Added notifications Only suggestions I would make: - Load the DM contacts in order of most recent message - When scrolling down the contacts, instead of loading the fixed amount, page them in 20/30 at a time - Cache the last 30 messages, happy to page those in as I scroll up too - Need a way to “refresh” the QR code for login instead of closing the app, Discord sometimes doesn’t recognise the code I’ll keep revising this review as updates are released, but as it stands, if you’re using just the messaging features and can accept a few UX issues, this should be good enough.

Help. What is 2FA how to enable it?

Doesn’t work.. Complains about a captcha or something, can’t even get past the login. Very annoying trying to “type” a long & complex password with only the watch as an option also. (Other apps let me login to things from an iPhone companion app)

High price for Garbage App. This app has been out for a while now and they still not have managed to get the basic functions to work, they seem to be working on a few projects at same time too, just another one of those developers trying to get a quik $. Devs ripping us off again, Apple needs more quality control measures.

LIES!!. I read the reviews before I purchased the app and one review says that I can make calls and join them with the watchOS 9 (that’s what I’m on) and once Ive purchased it, my watch says that I can join a call when watchOS 10 is released. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

DO NOT BUY. App doesn’t work at all, done all the trouble shooting and it doesn’t work on the latest Apple Watch. Trying to use the QR code log in just results in the error “discord does not recognise this device” and manually logging in causes the app to crash.

Omg this app is awesome. I am not allowed my phone during the week so having this app is amazing, soo far I have only encountered one issue, some things can be quite slow during the setup process. I am amazed I can look at all discord conversations and message back, it is quite fast but there are some things that can be slow to do, apart from that I highly recommend getting this app. I am not a bot and I have not been asked to review I did this review to help others

needs work. FlickType is broken

Doesn’t work. It doesn’t work I keep getting errors. I bought it twice because the developer said it was fixed and can’t get a refund now.

Does not work. Garbage! Doesn’t work at all, all I see are empty tabs where the servers and messages should be, only $2 but take it elsewhere.

Does just what I want it to do!. I was skeptical of this app at first because it only had 2.4 stars, but lone behold it works perfectly. The main reason I wanted this was to text with friends, and I can. I was able to respond and see group messages and DM’s. I definitely recommend this app to anyone who wants to use discord on their wrist!

Cannot do anything. Finally let me sign in after 2 months, doesn’t load a single thing except for names, once you open a conversation it never loads.

Doesnt work. This app does not work for me. I tried many times signing in the app and did not work. Then it worked on my other account. It wasnt working and was really laggy, a few days later it was working. It did let me send messages until a few days later, it was laggy again. I scrolled down to send a message but it teleported my screen back to the top of the chat. It is really annoying because it wouldnt even let me see the messages. I really DONT recommend this app. It doesnt work well, so dont waste your money on this app.

I recommend it. You can send messages with this app on discord and view many things and send messages. If you use discord and have an Apple Watch you should get it. You can’t use the voice channels tough. Good app for discord users. I wondered about getting this because it had a rating of 1.5 but it’s a good app.

Scammers. Do not get this app . There website popped a flag warning that is it a fake website to steal your personal information or financial information . I HIGHLY suggest reporting them . Also it requires u to remove 2fa clearly to steal your login without your knowledge if u used this change your password and re enable 2fa immediately

NOT WORKING AT ALL. I downloaded this app and it worked for a few days and afterwards it just doesn’t work at all it just says “error” and there’s really no use in downloading it bc there isn’t a lot of functions. Its hard to check channels. Waste of money.

Won’t log in. The app made me disable 2f Authenticator and it still didn’t log me in on the watch. All I know is this is useless to me. I can stick to notifications from the actual app so there isn’t a real use for this app if I can’t type on my watch.

Lots of potential. I can confirm that this app works! You can read messages (unlike in Clyde, that developer seems to have abandoned the app entirely after only a few short months). You can’t currently reply to messages and I feel the UI could use more polish and tweaking, which is why I rated it four instead of five. Nonetheless, for $.99 you can’t go wrong. Props to the dev and I hope to see the development on this continue.

Won’t sign me in. The app won’t sign me into my discord account. Seems like a fraud to me. (Just read other reviews. Seems like a common issue. Wish I read reviews first!)

Amazing. A little buggy, but amazing nonetheless

It works, but buggy and lacking minor features.. I've used MiniDiscord for about a week now. I have an Apple Watch Series 3 for reference. The first thing I have to say is that it works. If you need this only to read and reply to DM's, it will work fine for you. If you need to read and reply messages from servers, it may not work. See the issues I've listed here. Issues: • Tapping on channel names does not take you to the right one. I tried tapping #chat in my server to go to the main chat but it was taking me to my #suggestions. I was not able to get to the right channels at all. • Some text goes off the screen. I was able to read messages in DM's fine, but some text, such as timestamps were unreadable. The usernames of my friends when you tap them in the friends list also went off the screen. These isn't a major things but if timestamps are very important for you, they didn't work for me. • Things take a while to load. When you tap the Messages button to get to your friends, it loads the pictures and names for a sec, unloads them, unloads the names, then takes a couple more seconds to load them back again. If you really need to reply in a rush, it may be a tad too slow for you. • This may just be me, but I'm not getting notifications from MiniDiscord. I'm still getting mirrored notifications from the iPhone app. So when I get a notification on my watch, I have to and manually go into MiniDiscord instead of just tapping the notification. Those were the only issues I really had with this watch app. I have some suggestions too. Suggestions: • I'd really like to see more options in the settings for this. An option to disable server icons and profile icons would be nice. Separate text scaling for in the app would be useful too. • Server folders, please. Scrolling through a ton of servers on a tiny screen looking for a specific one isn't fun. If server folders aren't possible either, at least add an option to sort them by last used, like in the friends list.

Won’t let me connect to discord. Anytime I try to link it to my discord it’s saying the link had expired which I don’t even know how that works. It does the same thing when I try to scan the QR code as well. I’m a little disappointed in this app knowing I spent money on it. I’d like a refund.

Where are the devs?. Not sure why none of the discord watch apps support voice chat, that would be the most important feature for something like this.

Way too laggy. Slow, buttons down work, dms out of order, no server folders, I am prob getting a refund if this app is not fixed

Can't login with qr code. Couldn't use this app when I first purchased because I have 2fa on my discord account. Now they've added 2fa support but only with qr code login. When attempting to use this it discord says "can't find computer" after scanning the code and doesn't allow login.

These are things that happen on this app regularly; *Crashes after only one use *Depending on what you tap on it might crash among initial use *Shows wrong room after tapping on totally different room -When it does work it works fine. I would love for this to work as expected. This app just seems to need a lot of fine tuning.

App Works great on S7! Was hesitant with negative reviews…. So my title really says it all. I will say I read the reviews and was hesitant. They were rough. I’m not sure if it’s some people not being able to log in properly due to 2FA or some form of not getting the QR code to scan right or what. If they can log in, I’ve seen servers not loading, etc. ALL of my servers loaded just fine and I have tons of them. My only disappointment is Voice Chat isn’t supported but apparently will be in the future! So I’m excited to see that come to fruition! But I was able to check messages, respond (both DMs and in Server chat channels). This really is like having Discord on your wrist. It’s a perfect mini client for when I can’t have my phone by me but my watch is obviously on my wrist. Once voice chat is implemented I will do another review or update this one on how that feature works. But for now, I got what was advertised and I think $3.99 is a fair price for the app. HOWEVER, it seems tooooooo many people are facing issues, and for that I’d say this app should be MUCH cheaper until the developers can get everything up to par 100% for all users. But again, not sure if this is on the user end or app end or could even be discords end? So who’s to blame for those unable to access? I’m not sure. All I know is it worked just fine for me! If anything negative happens, I will update the review accordingly!

Can’t Log in. I’d give zero stars if I could. Like just about everyone else it gives me an error every time I try to log on. I’ll consider changing my review when I can actually try out the app.

Needs a lot of work. Nice app gets the job done to an extent. The text channels get clicked on and pulls up a completely different channel, and like every other user who wrote a review the “the app keeps crashing”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great app for using discord on the apple watch. So far it’s not a bad app. Only thing is sometimes the channels won’t load and the qr code to sign in doesnt work but you can just put in your username and password manually and it works fine. Thank you dev

Can’t get in. I keep trying everything but I can’t login on my Apple Watch..

No longer works. The app worked fine for a while even though it wasn’t fully featured. About a month or two ago I was logged out of the Watch app and can not log back in. Entering a username and password shows an error saying I need to complete a captcha, which is not possible on the watch app. The QR login feature also does not work. This app is now useless

Ugh. Paid the little two dollars for this app and it isn’t even showing up on my watch. What a waste!

Terrible. Just dowloaded it to my apple watch, does not load the servers. Terrible service , I want my money back.

It’s in progress.... My primary problem is with the discord server that it takes you to when you install the app. Max and Wolf seem alright but there is a sponsor named Brandon who is childish, immature, and a bully. He talks down to people without being checked (I assume because he is a supporter of the app).
