Just trying it out. Thanks it looks like it would work out ok but the problem am having you all said free but want to charge $6.99 weekly us that’s not free I saw it on Facebook it stated to download it for free didn’t say extra charge you need to fix it

Looks good but…. Apparently, it has useful functions but there's no intuitive way of accessing them nor are there any instructions. On top of which $25 per month is outrageous.

Makes life easier. I like to write in longhand as I often “magically” erase articles I have word processed. I can write, erase and rewrite until I have what I want. Then I can edit once it’s converted, send a pdf to myself and print it out. I love this app.

Awesome program. I have been using this program for about 2 years. I don’t have any complaint. It’s easy to use and you are able to store. Best thing to use when you don’t have a scanner near you or at all. I will highly recommend it.

So Easy & Convenient. I absolutely love this app. It’s so easy to use and so very convenient! As a mom of four who has a tremendous amount of paperwork that never ends I am unable to always get to the library so this scanner has come in handy so many times.

I wanted an app. to scan limitlessly. Great app if you use it to do what you want without page limitations.

Scanner Review. Great to have the ability to take a photo of a document that becomes a pdf. I can save, transmit, or print immediately. All of this from my iPhone. I no longer need the expensive flatbed scanner at home hooked up to my desktop computer. Before, I had to segment and scan at home. Now it's all on the go.

Not having success. I have tried a couple times to use this for old documents but so far it is not working. I have to end the trial. Don’t charge me for the program.

Not converting text to document!. I downloaded app scanned documents, converted them, edited text, hit copy, hit save, hit export nothing changes the document. I go back to convert and the text I changed is there but not changing on document. Lol. Not worth it! It’s shouldn’t be this difficult and if it is it’s not user friendly.

This is a really great scanning app. This is one of the top scanning apps I’ve found. The only thing that I wish is that they would have an option to buy it out, not subscription...or have a option that’s a little bit more affordable. I just can’t justify paying $70 a year for that or $6.99 or $9.99 a week for it. I would pay $50 for the app and be done or a $2.99 a week thing but not at the prices they have. I will say that I don’t use document scanning that often in my business so I don’t really need it. But if you use it daily this could be a really good app for you and a good asset especially if you’re using it on the go it could be worth it for your business. I want to also say it is a really great app, it’s easy to use and the documents come out really great. A a small business owner I’m having to watch where I spend.

Not worth it. Before you can do anything with this app, you have I have a subscription. You can’t use anything, not even minor details that most other apps will let yo use. I feel like it’s fair to say that most people that are not business owners won’t even want to bother with this one.

Misleading advertising of this app. The ad I was shown for this app makes out as though it can use the camera to scan a complex word doc on paper and convert it to a word doc file that can be edited and/or modified. This is NOT the case. This app merely copies the words from a photo. I don’t need an app for that. Most camera apps do that now. It only does a copy & paste of the words contained in the photo and puts those words into a word doc file. Again, not something I need an app for. Especially one that I’m asked to pay for. That simple task is elementary with any modern smart phone. The ad for this app is completely misleading and should be altered to accurately describe the mundane tasks this app is capable of doing.

Scanning documents for attorney. This is really working for me as I m home-bound and need to send my attorney some documents. I do not have a printer or scanner so this APP has saved the day.

adobe review. This is the best and the easiest I have ever used in my life. I hope that it stays that way.

Misleading Subscriptions/Billed $9.99 weekly. When I selected my subscription it says Full Access (1 week) NOT $9.99 BILLED WEEKLY. Then you can’t cancel from the app itself, you go to Apple Subscriptions and there is NO CANCLE SUBSCRIPTION button only a RESUBSCRIBE option for a DIFFERENT PLAN, it’s like you are locked in. They probably get an extra payment or two out of people before they notice and find a way to cancel (I’m still searching, reached out to Apple.) So they get A LOT OF FREE MONEY. The app itself worked decent, but the one star is for it feeling like you’ve been tricked & trapped and also a little scammy. (Typed fast, please excuse any typos)

Scanner. It’s beautiful scanning by the app. Recommend to use for all the iPhones users.

Easy application. Works great easy to use. This a perfect app for people out on the road to be able to scan and send documents to the home office. Much better and cleaner than using a fax machine. Makes is easier to organize and save documents for future use, without having to keep up with paper copy’s.

Better to just take a picture of your docs.. Do not fall for the free trial. They still charge you regardless and it’s a nightmare to cancel the “subscription” you are forced to pay because the free trial wasn’t canceled even when you did. Worst part is, your camera’s resolution is way better than the resolution this app gives to the “scanned documents“. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!

What am I being charged?!?!?. I thought this was a free app but I’m getting noticed that my Apple ID was used to make a purchase in the app. But apple won’t tell me how much and I can’t figure out how to cancel, the app blocked me from rating it, and apple told me I wasn’t even allowed to request a refund…. What the heck is going on here?!?!?

Disingenuous. This may not be a full blown scam, but is definitely borderline. uScan, xScan, etc. may show in their App Store profiles that they are from different companies, but they’re in cahoots at the very least, using the same ad to advertise their perspective apps and charging as much as they can from those naïve enough to pay $7+ per WEEK! for their service. They may not have OCR, but stick with Dropbox where you'll at least get 1TB of storage and more automated, clearer scans…for half the price.

My favorite scanner app!. Scaaan app has many great functions for which I would really recommend using it. The one function I used the most is the possibility to edit pretty much any type of document. For instance I work a lot and write a number of notes and ideas. With this app I can easily scan them to my phone, edit, share and save them as one document, very comfortably and easily. Another great thing is scanning an id card to my phone that I can add to legal documents or just share them quickly as a jpeg or different type of document. So if I am opening any type of account that requires documents like this or signature, I can easily do all of it in the scanner app. It also runs really smoothly and has a user-friendly interface, which is something I really appreciate. I think it’s a must, you never know when you’ll need to deal with any type of document and this app will help you instantly. So in general it works well, makes clear PDFs, has a lot of adjustments and features. Lifetime purchase definitely worth the money. Has changed the way I scan and email document. Love it!

Best app ever. I have no experience with computers so I was very nervous about it and didn't know if I would be able to use the app successfully. I need to scan and send important documents and I did. Was very easy to figure out how this app works. Perfect for beginners like me!!

Amazing! 😍. So thankful for this app 🙌🏻 because I usually travel a lot and when something pops in my email, I often immediately need to edit the document, sign invoice or scan it for further use, so this app is a saviour. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven’t found any problem. It’s really safe to use (as developer said, all documents are stored on my device, not on someones server 👀), all the documents are in one place and I don’t need to look for them to edit them again. Interface could be more appealing, but I’m okay with it, after all it’s an app with a long history and a lot of reviews 👍🏻. What’s great about this scanner is that I can easily work with any kind of document and convert handwritten notes or images into text (thanks to the convert function). What I usually do is that I edit document into the app for example by cropping the head, adding contrast, change color or else and I think this app is really wonderful at handling all of it. The documents are scanned in really high quality and can be in pdf or jpeg.

This was the best for writers. I wrote 546 pages and xScan took my notes and converted them to text so I can edit and publish. Great app

Get the free trial and then decide. It might be my handwriting, but they are not translating well at all. I think you’re going to have to be a print expert for this to work the way that it’s being advertised.

My opinion. Written by a tech person, no comprehension of an older person trying to use it. Paid for a year subscription and went to use app and wants me to pay again. Tells me to go to my computer to scan QR code but I don’t have a computer. Typical software provider who doesn’t test their product with all age groups. I like the idea but I don’t like having to employ someone to show me how to use it. I’m sure all millennials will love it but as a baby boomer I’m struggling.

Tried to verify the terms and subscription section in the app and I have a blank page....Tried the website and it falls on a recently bought domain name...I will be verifying my credit card during the next month as I have nowhere to cancel the subscription.

If I had been aware it was US $ I would have progressed with no problems with , but it was sticker shock to me at $85, Iour son was just diagnosed with juvenile diabetes type 1 and our expenses 1month are $1000 + . Don’t get me wrong! My phone was stolen and my biggest concern was your app because it contains our lives, and because of battery overload, I was unsure if it was in the cloud or cloud capable! I’m also disabled, my mother-in-law, and my father! You are the premium file to our lives! Sorry just shocked!

What?. I scanned a one page document. The scan app made it 8 pages! It was nothing like the original. It’s a great idea, but not ready to actually useful. Back to the drawing board developers.

Review of Apps. Items do not come in good condition while scanning. Actually the movie presenting the apps is not working real. I tried but I have to modify a long text which I think I will have nothing to modify.

App may try to cheat you an extra month upon a cancel!. Hello: Had used the app, paid several months, cancelled as done scanning for awhile. (On sabbatical) The app, a few hours after issuing a cancel subscription, now have a pending charge against credit card from it. Pending is uncontrolled in App Store to cease the charge, so not happy about that tactic! Cheater style tactic!
