Stunning design, a lot of problems. I’ve been using this period tracker since June, and I’ve been sticking with it because the design is so beautiful. I love the moon, so having a period tracker that also incorporates the phases of it is so cool to me. I also love the daily forecast of how I’m likely to feel emotionally and physically each day, and the details of what’s going on with my body on each one as well. The problem with this app, however, is that it always seems to be glitching or malfunctioning. For instance, every single month so far, I’ve had moments where the day of my cycle/days until my next period on the home page will be wrong. It will say “period in 12 days” when the calendar is actually showing that it’s in 10. That makes me wonder if my daily forecasts are even accurate to the actual day when this happens. Some days the app won’t even load at all, which is strange, considering I’m always keeping it up to date and have a very new model of phone. It’s frustrating that such a beautiful app that I would otherwise absolutely love can, most of the time, be very finicky in whether or not it wants to fully function. I’m sticking with it in hopes that it runs better in due time, but it’s so disappointing at the moment.

Great app!. I love it — from the using the moon, to the interface change, to even the huge range of symptoms and cycle factors. Between the fact it doesn’t give any of our information away, is okay with an irregular cycle, and is interesting to see connections. Recently I’ve gotten into astronomy and astrology and it’s connections to my body shows something. I only have two request/criticisms I have is that it doesn’t have a symptom for dizziness, or a place to note when I’ve taken iron supplements/pain medication to manage cramping. There’s notes, yes, but I want a specific setting, since there’s so many other options. Additionally, it’d be great if there was a way to toggle off the sex/sex drive category, as despite being in my twenties, I have no interest in that! One less thing to have to scan through when I can’t think with period brain, hahah. Overall: great app, would recommend! Just a few notes.

Not inclusive for the non-normative cycle. I appreciate the lunar involvement with my cycle 🌑 🩸 absolutely divine. However - more often than not I find myself frustrated with the lack of realistic options & cute language & design which stops me from accurately tracking my cycle. For instance I need to be able to track when I have blood clots, and when my period is blood is closer to black or brown. For people with cysts or fibroids - these can happen and I’m disappointed that I feel myself body isn’t represented here. The notes option is not enough to suffice. This month my period is late & i had to go in twice & delete “my symptoms” before the app recognized that I’m late or irregular (another common period experience). It’s nice to have the predictive element to the app but you should be able to turn this on or off OR have the next period just be that - a prediction - and can only be clarified by the app user. Not saved automatically when a period hasn’t happened or will not happen. Im disappointed that an app that clearly wants to be gender neutral & inclusive & spiritual is missing the mark when it comes to bodies that don’t have normative cycles.

lied about selling data. Stardust took the overturning of roe v wade as an opportunity to market their app as the first and only period tracker that will not sell your data. To me i already felt a bit icky about how they continued to advertise their ad by talking about the overturn of roe v wade and used this tragedy as a selling point but i downloaded it anyways because i thought the creators of the app seemed kind of genuine. It turns out that they actually do sell their data and after people have addressed this issue, stardust continues to ignore ppl and pretend like they didn’t do anything, even going as far as to double down on their “end to end encryption” and non data selling claims. There are now news articles about this and stardust has removed the claim that they don’t sell data from their terms and conditions. Regardless of if you are ok with an app selling ur data i think it’s important to note how shady, secretive, and deceitful this app has been and i would suggest going to another app or learning to track ur period on a calendar. I think it is disgusting how they have taken this tragedy in which womens reproductive rights have been stripped and thought to lie to women who were looking for an app that would keep them safe. If you look thru the high rating for the app you will se that there are many bots which are what is enabling this app to continue to have 4+ stars on the app store.

I genuinely do love it. 4 stars reason at bottom - I stopped using period apps because they got so boring and annoying, and many of them can’t track my unregulated periods accurately. I decided to try this one purely because I’m in my Witch Girl era and this seemed like a fun new gimmick that none others have. First impressions, I love it. The explanations for what I’m feeling and why are very unique, and it makes me feel so mystical to have a period and watch what my cycle does according to the universe’s cycles. And then I learned I can invite my partner to track my dailies AND I can cast a spell on him 👌🏻 and so far he’s been more than happy to help me anyway he can, and it makes his life easier knowing what I need everyday to feel good. The reasons I rate it 4 stars is because my periods normally last more than 14 days and the app won’t let me claim more than 14 days… AND I really wish I could edit / add personal symptoms. Like NAUSEA. I’m nauseous so often on my period, and I don’t want to have to type it into notes everyday.. (edit: I found the Nausea button, but being able to edit and add my own personal symptoms would still be nice).. AND I don’t like how much fun information is behind a paywall that I can’t comfortably afford. OTHERWISE it’s really a great period tracker app! I’d change my review if even one of these things gets changed!

LOVE IT ❤️‍🔥. One of my friends sent a link to download this app in our group chat and all 8 of us decided to download it and add each other and it has been so much fun every since! The notifications are so funny and I find myself constantly clicking into the app to read the funny and insightful comments about my cycle. PLUS the fact that this app is made by women (!!) it makes me so happy :) Also when I first downloaded it a pop up message came up about the Roe v. Wade situation and it was so cool to see the developers active and concerned about the matter. The layout of this app is also so so so cute! And the fact that any suggestions are taken seriously and actually implemented is so amazing. I was just reading some of the reviews and peoples concerns were immediately dealt and usually fixed in the app, which is great to see! I will forever be staying on this app and will recommend to all of my friends! (i honestly can’t believe this app isn’t more popular already!!) <333

A great app, just a bit buggy. I love this app and all the insights in incorporates from science, ancient wisdom, astrology, and more. I love being able to understand where I am in my cycle and how it relates not only to my own body and mind, but also nature and astrology. I subscribe so I can get all of the insights. However sometimes I do like to update symptoms for the previous day, and the UI is a bit confusing for that. For example, maybe this morning I want to make an update for yesterday, but I guess the only way to do that is to tap the “+” icon and then tap on the previous date, select the symptoms, and save? But then I go back to check, and it looks like it didn’t save at all because no symptoms are highlighted for the previous day. If there were simply an “edit symptoms” button or an easier way to navigate the calendar I’d love that. Overall happy with everything else otherwise, and they do donate a percentage of proceeds.

Beautiful, though i want it to be even better. Hi so I’m very thankful for your app, especially during these times. I do love the idea that we can follow the moon and it’s amazing. And i really want to enjoy this app as much as possible so i do have some feedback, hopefully it could be adjusted. Um so i personally prefer when on the calender view i can see the days I’ve had sex, so if it could have a different icon along with the star, that would be absolutely wonderful. Because i love the symptom variations and would love to fill them in everyday, I’d just like to know from the calendar view the days I’ve had intercorse you know, Also I’m a cusp libra and it say’s I’m a scorpio, but it’s not really a big deal. and another tiny detail that kind of bugs me is the way the calendar view looks, i know it’s nitpicky but i feel like it’s too crowded, and my brain struggles to easily understand it. i think if the days of the period weren’t one line, and were seperate spheres it would look better and easily understandable, but again it’s just me. I just want to enjoy this app really badly. so yeah, again you guys are amazing and i appreciate all that you do, thanks ♡

Best period app🥀🩸🌙👑. Stardust is so fun and very accurate. I used to have Clue then I deleted it and when I went to download it again I found out it costs money and not a little bit either so I went on my search for a new free period app and I’m so glad I did. This app is designed with so much care and detail, it’s definitely one of my prettier apps which I love. This app is very accurate, it reminds me when I’m about to get my period. Another feature that I really love is that it shows a little chart of my estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels and gives me little insights of how I might be feeling in a really and what I can do to help me deal with those symptoms and all in a really fun, relatable way. The quiz is great it asks about how heavy my flow is, my feelings, and my cravings with plenty of options to match up with me. Then it keeps track of all the information of of the quizzes so you can see it in a chart. I also really enjoy horoscopes and everything so I love the fact that it tells me what kind of witch I am because of how my period cycle lines up with the moon cycle. It also gives you little tips and horoscopes according to the moon cycle. You can also share your cycle with a friend if that’s your cup of tea. But overall the app is so cute, empowering, and accurate and for those reasons I 100% recommend it!! :)

bugs i noticed. I just downloaded the app after watching a Tiktok on it and was very excited to have an app that doesn't sell my data. when i opened the app i tried transferring all my old period dates from other period trackers so i can have the best estimate of when my period would start. after filling out about 4 weeks worth of data the app froze and i had to close it and start over. i preceded to just add the last period i had and save my information. then i keyed in all my information and when i was done (after putting in dates all the way back from 2017) the calendar was super laggy and hard to scroll. also, the moon phase wheel that you can spin gets in the way a lot when i’m trying to scroll down. i also cant tell which way it spins because it seems to go every direction no matter how i try to spin it. on a more positive note i really enjoy the animation of adding period dates to the calendar and the last craving about mac and cheese. keep up the amazing work devs! i can’t wait to see what updates you’ll make to this app.

Confusing & Inaccurate. I had high hopes for this app because their whole selling point is they cannot give your information to any party and your info is encrypted. Even though that is wonderful and what us women needs right now, the app is incredibly inaccurate and has too many bugs to be useable at this point. The first month I had it, it sent me a notification every morning that my period was late, when it was not. I believe this bug may have been fixed but along came another. When tracking my cycle, the app told me on Day 21 of my cycle my period was 9 days away, but the very next day, Cycle day 22 it says my period is 1 day late and so on. Obviously my period cannot be 8 days away AND 1 day late at the same time. I didn’t catch this at first and just saw I was several days late so naturally, I panicked a little. Now I’m super confused when my period was/is supposed to start. Women who have irregular periods such as me, rely on these apps to help us know when we are late and by how much and this app just can’t seem to do that. It’s a beautiful app and the idea behind it is solid so I hope the creators can clean this up. I’d rather have less aesthetics and it be accurate.

Beautiful & Fun. I'm so close to loving this app. It's so beautifully made and the visual elements of the hormone graph, icons, and moon phases makes tracking your period much more enjoyable than many of the other apps on the market. I also appreciate the symptom tracking and the app "remembering" consistencies (or inconsistencies) of symptoms cycle to cycle. My cycle, though, is really irregular because I have an IUD. I know my body goes through the fluctuations and "schedule" (for lack of a better word) of a 28ish day cycle, but I don't always bleed, or even spot. Therefore, since I'm not inputting that data as a symptom the app thinks I'm x-days late on my period and doesn't start the next cycle. The only way to currently input BC is in the symptom tracking: "took pill," "missed pill," "placebo," "inserted IUD," or "removed IUD." There's no way to input that you already have a BC implanted before you started using the app (it's not like I'm inserting my IUD every single day 😳). If there was a way to have this as a data point, and factor in cycle predictions/planning, this app would be perfect!

Exceptional App. Stardust is really a wonderful app. It has all the added bonuses of synchronizing your cycle with the moon cycles (if you’re into that kind of thing, which I totally am) and all kinds of tips on how you can best care for your body during each specific phase of your cycle that you are in. But mostly, I want to just note how wonderfully helpful their team is. I had an issue with one of the app updates and could not seem to get my data back after re-logging in. I had no clue what I had done wrong. I e-mailed them and the team spent days e-mailing back and forth with me helping me to figure out what the issue was. (tip: it wasn’t a Stardust thing, it was a me thing, which in all honesty is pretty on brand for me 🤷🏻‍♀️). They were so incredibly kind, patient, and really wanted to help me figure out what the problem was. I’d use this app over any other simply because I know how reliable their team is. Thanks Stardust!

So many glitches!!. I have been using this for months. I have PCOS and I need to be very aware of my periods so I have been using a period tracker for years. When roe v Wade was overturned I switched to this app and painstakingly added every period I had tracked for the last several years to this app before deleting the account on my previous tracker. I love the design of this and it makes tracking my periods extra fun but the app is so glitchy. I had to turn notifications off because it would tell me my period was late and I would check and it wasn’t. Plus so many more incorrect tidbits of info. It wasn’t so bad that I couldn’t ignore it and I was still able to keep track of my info and have it be safe so it was fine. But I just updated the app(because it wouldn’t let me open it without doing so) and it logged me out and started a new account and all of my info is now gone. Years of tracking my symptoms so I could see the trends of my PCOS just gone. And since I deleted my previous account I can’t add get them back. That data was very important since I am in fact trying to get pregnant. I now have no clue what to do about it and it is incredibly frustrating.

I have mixed feelings. I really liked the look and feel of the app but as of now I feel like the cons out way the pros. I’ll start with the things I liked. As previously mentioned I liked the look of the app. As someone who is into astrology I liked that this played a role in the app. I also like all of the options for cravings, moods and blood flow. It felt like I could truly personalize the way I tracked my period and I was able to track my moods throughout. However, most times when adding a craving or blood flow to the day it will somehow switch to the first day of your period, changing all of your info data for that day and not updating the correct day. That has happened almost every time I use it. It is also a bit confusing and difficult to update your period if it comes early, late or ends earlier then the app predicts. My biggest issue and the one that is making me step away from this app is the fact that after 6 months of use I go to see when I’m going to get my period and it logged me out and won’t let me log in to my existing account. This means that I have no way of looking back on my past periods for the last few months. Not having that information is devastating and honestly super frustrating. I really REALLY wanted to like this app but it is more difficult to use then any other method or app I have tried.

love this app, but…. this app is great! i recently tried switching to another period tracking app, for reasons i’ll explain in a moment, but ended up coming back to stardust because of how great the UI is. the design itself is seamless and there’s no loading wait times. i used to have problems with the app, but i’m assuming there have been bug fixes addressing those problems since i haven’t noticed any of the previous bugs lately the only reason i tried switching to another app is because i’d really love an option for gender inclusive language. the app itself is great, but i’d love to be able to opt-out of notifications that have feminine coded language or even just all extra notifications in general. i do want to get “bunker down! your period is coming” type notifications, but i’d be fine/happier without the “be empowered! you’re a woman!” i love the message, just not for me, since i’m a trans guy. thanks!

Beautiful design isn’t enough :(. Like many others, I want to love it. It is beautifully designed and makes it that much more fun to track not so fun symptoms. Since I first downloaded it, it’s been glitchy. From awkward notifications to just completely random (and inaccurate) information, it’s always had some issues - but never enough to motivate me to write a review. Today, though, I’ve been battling the app for a good 20 minutes, just to get locked out of my account. I was just trying to check in, log some symptoms and such. Things I do daily. But it was stuck in the opening logo for a while and, once it finally opened the app, it didn’t have any of the information I’ve been dedicated to put in daily. It was like I wasn’t even logged in. So I tried logging out and now I’m locked out of my account. Mind you, I have my safety questions saved on my notes and the screenshot of the encryption key they give you when you first sign in so I know it’s correct. It’s been extremely frustrating - and the last thing you need when you’ve been PMSing all day!

Potentially to be great but lacking consistency. I have been in love with tracking my period with the phases of the moon for a long time but it’s not often you find a period tracking app that does both, so when I found this one I was STOKED. I loved the cute little horoscopes, the interface, and the witchy aesthetic of it all, however, it’s never consistent. It feels like it’s always changing to the point where I don’t feel like I’m getting enough benefit from it. At one point you could click on the phase tabs and it would give you insights and little tips on how to work with each phase (nutrition, exercise, etc) and I LOVED that but now it’s disappeared again. Not to mention the fact that I couldn’t sign in to the app for over a month & lost track of where I was in my cycle. I finally got back in and the phase insights are gone, and it’s just really disappointing because I want this app to just work! Potentially could be the best period app ever…. However, reading some of the other reviews about this app selling our data is pretty sketch and I’d like to thank all the reviewers who took the time to investigate that. The search continues for the best witchy period tracking app…*sigh*.

Getting better!. I removed my previous negative reviews and am now giving the app 4 stars since it appears a lot of the bugs/glitches have mostly been fixed on my end. I like the new interface and features thus far, but hope it doesn’t become bogged down in the way that so many other period trackers do. The app is fully functional without the new paid subscription feature so I feel no pressure to pay at all. With that said, the monthly subscription fee really should be lower. $1.99 a month would be more than fair or even $9.99 for an entire year for those of us who have been supporting this app from the beginning. Almost $50 for an entire year is far too much when you consider all of the issues plaguing the app for for many. If the price is lowered I have no problem supporting the app and it’s creators, but as of now will support on the free model.

New Update. Hi Stardust! I want to start by saying I have had your app for a long time now, and was excited to see a new update. I like the new look (always a fan of more colors), and was scrolling to see what had changed. Full disclosure, I do have another period tracker downloaded bc I liked that that one has exercise videos and meal plans on it - but I enjoy the feel of Stardust more. When I checked the new update, it looks like you guys could have something similar, since I see a new exercise and diet section, along with some other icons. I would totally be willing to shell out the $4 a month - if I knew what the subscription came with! When I go to purchase, it just says “go deeper into your cycle” without much more information (to be fair, I could just do a week trial). I would suggest adding some more information as to what the subscription actually entails, since I would like to know what I’m looking for before I get it - even if it’s just a “learn more” link to a website. So for now I’ll stick to having two separate trackers, but maybe I’ll have to give the subscription a shot one of these days :)

Good when signed in. This app is nice, although there are some confusing aspects like maneuvering the period wheel to get to your current day and getting to edit the day. The issue I came across that is the reason why I’m undownloading is this: after updating the app, I’ve been unable to get back into my old account which I had been using for a few months. I tried logging in but it makes a new account as if my previous one didn’t exist. And when I tried logging out and logging in again to my new account, it basically looped and I still couldn’t get in. It’s super annoying and frustrating to lose all that period tracking so I’m just gonna delete the app. It was nice to have all the different options when recording your period, like the blood flow and cravings, but other than that, I’ll just stick to Flo. Really nice concept, and love that my information was kept private, but not worth redoing the whole process every time there’s an update.

Lied about encryption, sold data. If you downloaded the app before the 6/26 and 6/27 update, Stardust has already given your data to MixPanel. Their encryption wasn’t active until the update AND even after the update, your personal encryption key is being stored in stardust’s API which they said they wouldn’t do. It said in their terms of service that they will flat out give your data to law enforcement regardless of whether or not they’re legally required. Even the updated TOS states that they collect your personal info, location data, IP address, etc. But they already gave away your data, so it doesn’t really matter. Not only this, but they’re incorrectly using the term “end-to-end encryption” which isn’t even sufficient to protect your data even if the app had actually been encrypted since day one like they said. To add to this, I constantly had bugs with this app. My cycle wouldn’t load, my moon phase wouldn’t load, it’s clunky and not very intuitive. Don’t trust this app! Response to developer: I find it telling that you’ve ignored the bulk of my review in your response. It’s also untruthful to say “we have never sold data or shared data with law enforcement and never will” when your updated policy literally says, “We may disclose your anonymized information to law enforcement or a legal process or a request for cooperation by a government or other entity, when legally required.”

Like a more accurate daily tarot that tracks your mens cycle and your moods!. I have been an avid user of period tracking apps since I’ve had them. I have a Mirena IUD so my cycle is slightly irregular and small, however as the the iud hormones decline my symptoms and flow are getting worse which is why I like to track so closely. I have been using the same one for years until I discovered Stardust, the app syncs your period symptoms to the lunar cycle, weather your a modern witch or just think it’s cute it is really cool and truthful! This app has all the old logging options as the last apps I’ve used plus the whole editions of logging it to the lunar cycle. As someone who is becoming more ritualistic and trying to sync to the natural rhythms of the earth this app is awesome. The only thing I wish the app had the capacity to do is to log older periods when you first join the app, it would make it a little more accurate faster. If your looking to replace your old app I suggest using both in tandem for a couple of months as Stardust catches up on accuracy and then you should be able to fully replace your old app! Everyday you can check the app to get info for how to treat your day, which is so cool! From one period queen to another, this app rocks!

Gorgeous, but.... The interface is gorgeous, and the concept is great, I can tell a lot of love went into this. I love the information about the hormones and, normally I’m not a horoscope kind of person but overlapping them with periods makes periods just a bit more exciting which is great because it’s a miserable time for me, probably for most people. And as a mac and cheese lover I love how “just mac and cheese” is one of the craving options, that’s an eternal mood. The problem though is that this just doesn’t track my periods correctly. My cycle is kind of irregular. Over time it might get shorter or longer, recently it’s been slowing down. My other period app (which I would replace entirely with Stardust if Stardust was as accurate as it) has an option to predict periods by recording the length of every previous period and going with the average. Stardust only lets you choose a specific length, and going with “I’m not sure” just defaults to 28. I thought by recording every period I had a record of would give me the average and... yeah it doesn’t do that. If you could add the average option, that would be great. The average is the only way to accurately track my periods, and I’d like to think there might be other women in the same boat as me.

Loved The App Until I Couldn't Log In. This app was by FAR my favorite in this week or so that I had it. Before installing the update, despite the few symptoms that were able to be tracked at that point, it was fantastic to use and was easily understandable + enjoyable. However, with the most recent update, I tried to then get back into my account and was told to enter an encryption key which I hadn't recieved or seen when making my account. I tried to then recover the encryption key, only for an error message to pop up regarding accessing my account information. Same happened when trying to get a new key. Can't even make a new account as the app isn't letting me or giving me that option, only allowing me to sign in. Tried to also make one via my email or mom's number and had a "timed out" error pop up. I'm locked out and cannot access my previous data whatsoever, and it makes me nervous. I've tried to contact customer support yesterday, hoping I'll get a response soon because this truly was my favorite app but this stress of not being able to obtain my data or even create a new account is making me highly upset with the circumstances in our world now occurring.

It started good but now…. I absolutely loved this app, it replaced my old period tracker as that one started stealing people’s data, and I loved the stuff with astronomy and the horoscopes. I’ve had this app for about 9 months now but after the 3rd month it got really messed up, the setting I gave for it wouldn’t stick and it wouldn’t give me notifications anymore. It eventually fixed itself but then about last month the app just kicked me out of my account and it wouldn’t let me get back in so I had to start over, that was highly annoying but fine I could just start over. Now though it won’t give me notifications still and it used to do predictions for like ovulation or the start of my period on the big calendar screen but now it doesn’t, the screen is just gray and it only gives the moon cycle. It’s made me really upset as this used to be an app that I just loved opening to read the horoscope or just input symptoms, but I hate it now it’s just so broken.

Needs some tweaking……. I came to this app excited to help sync my lifestyle around my monthly cycle but I’m left disappointed and unhappy and unfortunately find this to be a basic period tracker. The fact that I can’t gain insight and data trends on my own personal cycle symptoms but I can see data on what “other people have tracked” is beyond frustrating and pointless…….Everyone’s different and it’s irrelevant to me to know that most people are tired during their period when I personally get tons of energy. I experience atypical cycle symptoms and I thought this app would allow me to see my strengths and weaknesses. For example, most women are exhausted during their menstruation but I get tons of energy. During ovulation most women have more energy but I experience exhaustion. I can go on and on…… Knowing what phase of the moon I menstruate is pretty cool with but by only being able to having access to what the majority of women report is just not helpful to me personally otherwise I wouldn’t have downloaded this app. While I do use this app to track my period and it’s accurate, I hope a change can be made so others can log in and see how they will feel on a certain date due to THEIR prior symptom trends. Kind of how you don’t want to book a beach vacay while having your period, it would be nice to know during my _______ phase I will be tired so make sure I do XY&Z. Just my personal input. Hope things change or I’ll be making my own excel sheets soon 😭

Bring back the hormone graph!. Update: the hormone graph is BACK! …but it’s wrong? For example, the graph shows progesterone rising and rising all the way until day 1, and then not starting to fall until day 3-4. On a 28 day cycle, your graph previously showed that progesterone peaks at day 21 and then falls heading into day 1. The graph also has an incorrect count on the number of days until my next cycle, even though I set the number in my profile post-update when my historical data went adios. I have PMDD, and the #1 thing that set this app above any other was the graph showing me what my hormone levels (likely) are every day of my cycle. Being able to see when my progesterone and estrogen are rising and falling at a glance has been BEYOND helpful for my sanity. I can’t find this feature anywhere on the new update, and I also can’t tell at a glance on the Home Screen when I should ovulate or start my next period. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back! I’m so perplexed by the design decisions that went into this major overhaul. I don’t care about tracking additional finite symptoms if I can’t compare them to my hormone levels for different days of my cycle. I also wish I had received some type of warning that they’d be enforcing new logins and wiping all of our historical data…I just lost 2+ years of tracking symptoms and dates with the new update. Much less important: While the new design style is fine, the old one was SO cute and felt much more hip.

It's *okay*.. I loved the whole vibe of this app. I loved that they got their following after promising to not throw people who have periods/get pregnant under the bus when RvW got overturned. I loved that it's a woman built app. I hate that it feels exactly like Flo now, with its subscription plan. $4 a month for "extra content" about why you feel bloated (it's cause your uterus is heavy with blood y'all.) That's how much my tampons are and no one in their right mind is going to budget out tampons just so they can pay the subscription fee. I understand that work needs to be compensated - but it was completely free since launch, what changed? Seeing all those icons with the lock next to them is an eyesore, it makes the app feel empty and "useless" unless you unlock those icons. Ads and an ad free version would have been SO much better. Imagine: ads for tampon/pad brands. New snacks coming out. Self care products like face masks. But yeah, its exactly like Flo now, which is what a lot of people left to come here. On to the next new app now, I guess. :(

Confused and offended. Today’s forecast for a sober mother and wife comes as a surprise and is extremely offensive; as shown in an attachment also sent in email to support which said “get lit by drinking cognac tea and smoking drugs nothing with all of your friends alone.” Additionally, the end of the sentence makes no sense and appears to be a run-on sentence or two sentences mixed together. Your app is meant for “to form a deeper connection with your body”, “integrating science, astronomy, ancient wisdom”, “manifest goals and befriend your body”. How does this forecast align with your purpose? My husband, best friend and I all are connected on your app, all three of us being sober from using drugs. I wonder if we should smoke drugs together or alone? Also, my teenage daughter uses your app and we are connected; I wonder if she should also smoke drugs. I have found this app to be helpful, humorous and insightful prior to today. I would like to know if there’s more reference to smoking drugs in the future and if this can be replaced to align with your purpose or if you’ve lost many users by these types of forecasts? Giving some reflection, feedback and reviews to see if there’s a response and a change? Hoping attention is brought to this and it’s a mistake.

Gorgeous app but very glitchy. I love the concept and design of the app, there’s so much personality and it makes it fun to use. However, it does not track my periods accurately at all and there’s a lot of glitches in the language. Right now it currently says my period should be starting tomorrow based off of the moon phases in the calendar, but the language says otherwise. Furthermore I’ve notice a similar issue with the language in push notifications. It’s almost like they’re on a pre-set cycle, and as someone with a very irregular period that doesn’t always follow this cycle, the notifications do not reflect the changes I make in the app. For example, if I start my period a week before the app predicts, I’ll continue receiving push notifs as if it was still a week out despite me having updated my cycle in the tracker. Hoping for an update to remedy these issues soon, but I’ve been using this app about 3 months now, and have inputted my previous cycle history for the past two years, but it just isn’t adjusting to fit me :( Ux team has some work to do before I can rely on this as my only tracking app and recommend it to friends.

Amazing app! But... This app is a great concept and i’ve been enjoying it for the months ive had it. I do have an issue with the privacy tracking, and i would like that to be addressed by the owners that way i could continue to use this app safely. But after reading reviews, i’m unsure about my decision to keep using it because of that. Other than that, I notice that the cycle isn’t very flexible. I didnt get my period until late at night on the starting day, and after I put my cycle update in it still said i was 1 day late. And now today as I put in my cycle information it says im 2 days late which is extremely irritating. I think the cycle needs to update more based on what things you put in, since now its gonna show up like i missed the first two days of my period when i 100% didnt. If the period app cant properly track my period… then theres no point in using the app. I really hope developers go over both of these issues I’ve stated above and fix it.

Best FREE Period Tracker for a uterus having person who wants to connect with THEMSELF. Hi, I am a 22 year old born female, and, who like many others, experience the joy of her uterine lining shedding….I prefer the term “shredding”- Which Stardust helps me feel better about. This app is very much giving Maya Rudolph as Connie the hormone monstress from the tv show “BIG MOUTH”. Having seen most of the episodes, Connie is like the bhaddie in ya body! She is the companion to everything that we feel intellectually and physically when it comes to hormones in our bodies. I see Stardust as a personal Connie when I get notifications in the morning. This app sometimes does lag/bug out on me, but I understand that this app has had a spike in downloads since Roe v. Wade was overturned and Stardust advertising their transparency on their statement to NEVER share our important personal info<3 much love to the creators of Stardust. BEST FEATURES// -There is a partner mode to add your bae to your cycle. I think they download the app and can catch the vibes lol I haven’t used it yet because I just tell my mans what’s GOOD. -The symptoms that you say you experience will actually come up later! I mean that Stardust will send me notifications based on my previous cycle phase symptoms. This not only reminds me but prepares me for being kind to myself(:

I can’t update or adjust my cycle. I just started using this app because I saw good reviews about it. It was going well at first and I loved (still love) all the options you have for symptoms. However, because I just started using it, it’s giving me false information on when my period is going to start. And that seems to be the same with every other period tracker I’ve used for the first few month. So I’m not mad at that. Because of this, I kept trying to adjust my cycle. I was tapping the days where my period started and when it ended but every time I pressed the save button, it said “Oops! Something went wrong.” It’s a little frustrating because I do genuinely like this app and I love how aesthetically pleasing it looks. But this small issue is making me mad. Edit: I read the Developer response and all I had to do was adjust my cycle/period averages in settings and everything started working perfectly fine! I hope this helps anyone else who is having this problem!!

straight up created by a man. the daily descriptions are always so negative towards women. i kept brushing it off, but my god, i’m hit with it everyday. like my god, i’m already depressed and i thought we were done with negative self-talk. this app shames women for their hormones and their appearance. like just read their “daily reminder messages”. it’s always assuming the worst and solely focused on it. they even reordered the log in page and called it “symptoms” along with the order of the questions to be most shaming. like bro, i’m loving myself. we are MORE than just our hormones. it’s the most sexist cycle tracking app and i’ve tried them all. you know a shocker, Stardust, a lot of us LOVE our cycles. we are the only ones in tune with the moon and we birth your children and create life in our wombs. we’re more than all the negativity and body shaming. my god. i can’t keep reading them. i love knowing when my ovulation is, i love knowing why i feel more creative today, i love educating and deepening my understanding of my own body and what it’s capable of. this app sounds like it was created by men

It’s great yeah. This app has done a great job helping me with my cycle from the moon visuals to the little fun facts. Far as I’ve seen, it doesn’t use the word woman/women at all which is really cool for inclusiveness and it even gives you a witch type which is adorable. However, just personally, I don’t like the notifications around your period. Rather than being uplifting or even informational, they compare you to demons…? I’m all for joking around but not being told that I’m being possessed rather than something actually helpful. In my opinion, it adds to the whole mindset of “you are on your period therefore you’re irrational and I won’t listen to you.” But I digress. I hope they can get rid of these and give actually useful tips or even let you customize it or something. And I think a little place for some weight, sleep, and water charts would be neat. Other than this passionate little rant, it’s a great app with gorgeous astrology visuals and colors. <3

Some suggestions. I just deleted clue after Roe V Wade and saw Stardust’s tiktok. I am so excited to try this app! After a first glance, i love the colors and design. I suggest adding the ability to track your discharge since it is such a good indicator of where you are in your cycle. Especially since each phase can last different amounts of time for each AFAB. I wonder too if cycle syncing information - or information about the different parts of the cycle would be cool to add. I love how under my daily tracker it tells me that right now is a good time to focus and find the flow, but maybe suggestions on food/exercise would be cool. Last suggestion: it would be so awesome to replace the word woman with AFAB or some other more gender neutral term. Not everyone with a uterus is a woman, there are trans men, non-binary people, and intersex people who could all benefit greatly from your app. Probably my favorite part is knowing that i an a red witch and historically WISE and being able to see my cycle color coordinated with the moon!!! I love it so much. Keep up the amazing work!!

Not bad considering modern times!. Okay so I’m not gonna lie, after hearing about roe vs. wade I was gonna delete every app that I used for my period, health, etc. Seeing StarDust on an ad on Facebook really gave me hope that there wasn’t people in it just for the money. First off I didn’t even know I could find out what type of witch I am, the moon phases, daily tarot readings, etc which I find SUPER COOL!✨ And before anyone complains or talks about their Privacy Policy… I read that entire page from top to bottom because I couldn’t sleep and no where in it did I see them talking about selling our data, let alone trading it. The most the app can do is take your data and lock it up in a vault, which can’t even be traced back to you unless you allow it, aka(encryption key)! To all the pre-teens, young adults, or even old people, I highly recommend this app! It’s so cool and has really helped me keep track of period and hormones. I have been using it for over a month now and this app is now one of my go-to’s for health!💕🪐

Cute app but lots of issues. This app is so cute and i love the concept of it! You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this! Unfortunately, that is about where my compliments on this app end. There are constantly glitches and issues with the app. Half of the time I open it i cant even access my data as the app won’t move past the loading screen, and I know it is not a connection issue on my end cuz my phone will be working perfectly fine otherwise. I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and I just opened the app to see where I am at in my cycle, and it apparently logged me out? When i enter my information to try and log back in it just has me creating a new account, so now all of my tracking information is seemingly gone. I’ve seriously never been so disappointed in an app. My fiancé and I are trying to get pregnant, and now I don’t have any of my past information to track my cycle to help us. Really regretting not just downloading ‘flo’ like all of my friends told me to do in the first place. I just thought this app was cute and i never expected all of my information to just disappear 🙃

New Favorite Period App. I absolutely love this app! I finally found something simple that both helps my track my cycle and see why I feel the way I do at different points of my cycle. This is the perfect blend of informative and fun. Unfortunately, the app is definitely a bit glitchy. I would love to be able to add friends and see each other’s cycles, but the add friends feature doesn’t work at all! Also occasionally certain buttons stop working, preventing me from leaving the current screen. In terms of things I would like to see, I just shared the app with my trans brother (we both appreciate the lack of gendered language 💛) and while the hormone cycle tracking is still helpful information for him, it would be nice if there were options, maybe under birth control? for trans folk to log their hormone supplements as well, and hopefully a change in the chart hormone levels for them as well? just an idea. I’d also love to be able to change calendar views to show traits I’ve logged over time. However, the simplicity of this app is part of what makes it so convenient, and in no world would I want it to become so flooded with features I don’t know where to start, or that I have to buy access to the features I actually need (like some other apps on the market 🪶) TL;DR The app is simple, fun, and useful. There are a few bugs, as well as a few places that could use some development, but overall probably the most best period tracker I’ve used yet.

10/10 App, genuinely helpful. Before getting this app, I had been trying to track my cycle by journaling my daily symptoms in addition to using another app and it did not really get me anywhere; It was really hard to make sense of what everything meant and actually understand how my cycle worked. I have had this app now for a couple months and it has totally changed my understanding of my cycle in the best ways. I don’t have to spend time trying to make my own connections about my cycle; The app gives me such a good understanding of my own body and what to expect during different parts of my cycle. And I really appreciate all of the features that are offered in the free version and that there isn’t something popping up every time I use the app that is trying to get me to pay for an upgraded version like the last app I used. Thank you to the developers for making this resource available!!

A bad tracker wrapped in a good design and fun concept.. I switched from Flo to Stardust because I enjoyed the insights, hormonal charts and so on, problem is that my periods are often fluctuating and at the very least longer than 28 days. Other competitors usually average this as you input your periods, so the more you use the more accurate the prediction get, stardust, even when inputting “my cycles are inconsistent” just defaults to 28 days. I’ve tried everything to get it to work, bought the subscription and used it for months, same follicular phase for 10 days, then ovulation, leading to, in my case, a 38+ day luteal. It leads me to believe that instead of learning about your body the more you use it, it just posts some graphics that MAY or MAY NOT be at all accurate to you, which when you pay for an app and keep it updated with symptoms, you expect it to try at the very least. I’m not going to shill another app, but I’ll be going back to Flo personally, anybody who has a fluctuating period should look into other trackers, but not this one.

Love the app…but kind of frustrated. Out of all the period apps I have used in the past, this one has been my favorite. I am a fan of the layout, the information it allows you to add, and it gives you interesting information about your cycles. That being said the app has it’s glitches. Every few weeks I keep getting logged out, which wouldn’t be a big deal but then it takes me a while to get my information back. The same thing just happened again…except this time it is not accessing any of my past information. It keeps trying to get me to start from the beginning. I liked this app so much I kind of became to reliant on it to check on my cycle which now leaves me in a spot where I don’t remember the dates to put into the app. I’d like to continue using this app, but I am getting to the point where I am kind of frustrated. I appreciate what the app stands for, especially how it protects users information and does not sell our data. It is a great model for a period tracker, but I do not want to continue stressing over whether I’ll be completely logged out of my account the next time I go to open it.

Love this but stops working. I want to give this app 5 stars because I really love the concept of this app and I find its design really beautiful. I enjoy the way everything is laid out and all of the ways you can track symptoms. When it functions, it helps me feel so much more confident because I am aware of what is going on in my body and prepared to face the day no matter what my hormones are up to. HOWEVER it has happened multiple times that I log back into my account and all of the information is GONE. Which defeats the purpose in trying to keep track of things at all. It is really disheartening to think that I am equipped with all of this information I have collected about my body and then all of a sudden it is missing and I have to start over, multiple times. I am close to giving up on this app, but I really don’t want to. I hope someone reads this and makes the changes so this stops happening.

Good for some. So there really isn’t much wrong with the app. It’s pretty to look at and has almost any symptom you could come up with. In theory it’s great. However, the period tracker could use some attention. I had an IUD inserted and I mainly want to keep up with the symptoms and track how it’s affecting me because I’m bad at keeping up with time. I’ve been on my period for going on 4 weeks now so I REALLY want to keep up with how long that lasts and when it started and any breaks I’ve had, but the app won’t let me submit a period that lasts longer than 14 days. Whatever. I’ll leave some gaps and write in the notes? No. Because it says I’m supposed to be ovulating so I can’t possibly be on my period then. Please please please make this inclusive for women who are having issues as well. As awful as it is, periods can last for MONTHS when tampering with hormones. I would love to keep using it, but for now I’m just going to deleted and keep my information stored in my calendar I guess.

Beautiful Design. This app is so visually appealing and fun to use. It has really helped me track my cycle and feel more connected to the earth’s moon cycle. I like the push notifications; they’re clever and funny. The only complaints I have are when the push notifications are more than a few lines, you can’t read the whole thing. There’s also a big opportunity to incorporate eating and workouts with one’s cycle. If this app gave some science-backed nutrition and workout advice (like what to eat to support progesterone production, when to fast or eat more keto or paleo type diet within your cycle and when resistance training is ideal vs cardio or yoga) it would be THE BEST. Maybe that’s not what the developers are going for, but there’s definitely an opportunity to give some wholesome advice on nutrition and life hacks. If the goal is to be more in tune with Mother Nature and her moon cycle, this app has a great opportunity to encourage harmony for women through reminders on nourishing and supporting their cycle with wholesome nutrition.

Love this app, just some ideas for improvements!. To start, I really do love this app. It’s so easy to use, and it’s the first thing that made me really understand a woman’s entire cycle, versus just a period like most apps. The app is so well designed and so cute, and I absolutely love and look forward to those funny notifications! I do wish the Implant was an option for the birth control, I’ve noticed other people have mentioned this as well. My main thing, is I wish there was an option that you could say when your period stopped. Sometimes the app will say I have 3 days of my period left but in reality it has already stopped, so I’d love to be able to enter that information. Also, would like to be able to add things to past days. I sometimes forget to enter things and it would be very helpful to be able to add something to “yesterday” or any prior day.

Wanted to love - way too buggy. Started using Stardust last spring and really loved the design/interface and the variety of symptom-logging options and ability to write notes and details on specific days. Unfortunately, towards the end of 2022 for nearly 3 months I was unable to access my account or data due to bugs within the app (kept saying my account did not exist or prompting me to start a new one). Customer support assured me it was being worked on but provided no updates despite me frequently checking in, attempting to log in, deleting and re-downloading, etc. I just opened the app for the first time since December and was miraculously able to log in, but after less than 30 seconds of using it once again it crashed. I re-opened it and quickly went to screenshot the data I’d logged so I could input it into a new app and was met with an irritating, recurring “Tag us on social” banner that I couldn’t get rid of every single time I captured a screenshot. Once again, I wanted to love this app and think so many parts of it are so cool, but the inconsistency of its functionality and the fact that I was unable to access my data for three months with zero assistance from customer support has led me to delete my account.

The app was good and now it’s absolutely horrible. When I first starting using the app months ago I had no issues. It worked absolutely wonderful! However when I went to input my period today, THE LAST THREE MONTHS OF MY PERIODS ARE GONE. vanished. And I can’t get that info back because the app is broken. Even when I go and input the last one I had, it doesn’t save. I tried 4 times. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I needed that to show my doctor I’m having my cycle THREE TIMES in a month and now I don’t have that info and I’m super disappointed that the app is broken now. I thought we were supposed to be able to input things the way we wanted since it’s OUR cycle but the app clearly doesn’t want to do that anymore. Y’all are better off with a different app. Not this one. Can’t even have off periods without it completely wiping them off the app with NO WAY to back up data and retrieve it. Absolutely horrible. Thank you for ruining the last 3 months of my cycles so now I can’t even predict anything anymore because I can’t base it off anything AFTER OCTOBER. it’s almost February. November December and January are gone. It looks like it won’t save anything “outside of its prediction” at this point. Fix the app. I don’t this update that I assume did this.

I can’t believe this is free!!!. This app is incredible. As an astrology nerd and period haver this is the perfect app for me. The tracking features are fantastic and allow me to see trends in my PMS symptoms. I love that I can see the trends in comparison to the different phases of my cycle and the moon all lined up! The predictions are pretty accurate. So many apps nickel and dime you for the kinds of features that come standard on Stardust. The tags for different symptoms are so adorable and creative (ie “sensitities” for sore breasts 😝). The layout is beautiful and the informative blurbs are lovely. The app makes me want to open it everyday with its informative “readings” based on my cycle and the lunar cycle which makes it easier to track my symptoms since I’m opening the app a minimum of once a day. Usually I forget to track things when I’m not on my period because these apps don’t really “excite” me. But this one does. I’ll never use another period tracking app but Stardust!

Best app- period. ‘Scuse the pun!. Absolutely love this app for many reasons. It’s women owned, has tons of light hearted and wittily written information around your periods, moon cycles and women’s health in general. You can even link your cycle up with your friends too! II have told all my besties to download it, I’m so glad I switched from my last app that I using, it’s definitely worth the money and I feel good every time I open the app up -Well done I’ve finally found the period app I’ve been looking for!

It’s okay but just saw other reviews. The variety of symptoms are good. Seeing the moon cycle is excellent. It’s a little better than most tracking apps. But I hate the fact you can’t use the app when it needs an update. Majorly disappointed about their lack of privacy! Glad to be Australian but I think it’s completely unethical to share data and not keep profiles and such anonymous and private. Will be deleting and going back to another app

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Their updated privacy policy has made it clear that they can and will give your data over to law enforcement at request!!! They also state that any data that is shared to a third party, is then left in the hands of the third party and that they have no control over the third parties privacy policy and what they do with the information. It is also nearly impossible to delete your account if you wish to! There is no where in the app that gives you the option to delete your account. I only found that option because I emailed them asking to exercise my right to erasure. They sent an automated response where the option to delete my account was given. In order to delete your account, you need to provide the email linked to your account (obviously so they know what to delete) BUT there is no where on the website or app where you can access what email you’ve given them. With out that email you can’t delete your account… so you just have to trust your memory… but even then they give you no confirmation that the account has been deleted or that the email was correct. I tried to delete my account, I think it was successful but I have no idea. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I know that in recent events of Roe V Wade being overturned we are scared of big corporations being able to access such personal information about us. Stardust uses this fear as a marketing scheme and to target vulnerable people who think they’re putting themselves in safe hands. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

💟. I love this app, it has been so helpful in understanding more about my hormones and body. It’s cool to see that you have new features, could you offer a free trial so that we can see what they are?

Lost all my data. I went to get into the app and suddenly it’s asking me to log in or sign up but only showing me the screens they get you to sign up with even though I already have an account. I think there must have been an update and I’m pretty sure I’ve lost all my data… I really liked it before this and would have given it 4 stars, but now that my data’s lost I’m thinking of deleting the app since I don’t have a use for it… I had even backtracked and input data from about 2018 from my other app so I have now lost YEARS worth of tracking…

Period tracker. I first love this app and then it went down hill from there because when I first started this app periods were on timeEverything was all good until the app started glitching and I had to sign in every single time I wanted to use it so I deleted the app and reload it and then my periods were wrong they were saying they were one week but then they weren’t and then I would become unaware of them it’s supposed to be able to track them isn’t it and see when your next period is I know your body can change from time to time but I don’t think it’s supposed to change that many times and I it was started glitching again now so I deleted it and reloaded it and now it’s asking me some weird questions that I don’t know how to answer

Best app ever!. This is my fave app on my phone. It is super user friendly, I wish I found it sooner because the generic ones just don’t cater to my witchy ways 😂 I think every girl and woman need to understand more about how their cycle works to better their life

Flow & Fun. This app actually makes me laugh so much. It’s good humour about what can be a bit of a boring, irritating or even secretive subject is a breath of fresh air. I purchased the full suite within ten minutes and sent it to my husband and best friend. Thank God for the developers great sense of humour!

Thank you.. I don’t believe in astrology, to put it plainly, and although this app sort of centers around that it is still INCREDIBLY helpful. I deleted my old period tracker after privacy issues following Roe v Wade being overturned but after seeing a privacy statement put out by stardust (about how stardust creators have our back) I just knew this was the app for me. Aside from that, this app is very well made. The lay out is very cute and it covers everything from symptoms to cycle length. It also has information on hormones which I found pretty interesting! I highly recommend this app :)

Was amazing. Now unusable.. I LOVED this app. Then the developers rushed through an update due to roe v wade and now it is completely unusable and I’ve lost all of my previous data. I applaud the desire to do this, but this reactionary update was clearly WAY too premature and with so many bugs it’s just completely non-functional. So I’ve reluctantly deleted it. The worst thing is that developers are not keeping us updated or responding to complaints. It would be highly valuable to have the old app back while you continue to work on the new one until it is actually ready. Then you might not lose all of your users. Please let us know what is happening! You have a loyal following and could probably keep us all if you just gave us something usable and kept us updated on what is going on.

Ehhhh…. This app was great, I loved it for months. But in the past few months, I’ve had nothing but issues. I get logged out every time I use the app, my cycle is different depending on which page i look at. My ovulation is never accurate. Right now I can’t even log in at all, because of an error. If the app improves, maybe I’ll come back to it, but from now on i’m going to have to use something more reliable.

New Update has left my app not working. I was so obsessed with the app, but ever since this new update - nothing loads or works anymore. Hopefully it will fix as I really love to use this app. Cute messages and generally easy to use! I love that it links in with the moon cycles… but would really love for it to work for me again 🙏🏼

Suggestions. You guys should add a cheesy craving in the craving thing, abdominal discomfort in the symptoms, and you should add a child-safe symptom list for the few of us under 16 people because it’s kinda hard to fill out the whole thing when your a 12yr old v-rgin. Overall it’s an amazing app and it doesn’t assume i had my period until i put in that my symptoms started etc etc, but if you live in a place where abortion is illegal, do not download this, if anything asks for your info, they will give it to them, including 3rd party organisations and the government.

Okay for free but needs bug fixes. I hope you keep developing & improving as this has real potential and UX is lovely. But I’m not sure it’s 100% linked to my time zone and there’s a random notification I can’t find anywhere how to read/ clear it. Not very intuitive from a more advanced perspective (eg resolve those issues) and not much support info available. But I’ll keep trying for a few months and hope for an update soon to clear these bugs. Thanks for creating!

Amazing. A fun and insightful app (the only one I know of that’s actually made by people who get periods) People complaining about privacy policies don’t understand what encryption is so don’t listen to them The new “Invite a Partner” feature has been fantastic!

good app. however there are a few bugs that need to be addressed.. i recently switched from flo to stardust and so far the app has been pretty good, however there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. for example, i live in australia, and today is wednesday the 13th of july (from my understanding this app was made in america and america is a day behind australia). when i open the app, it says that it is wednesday the 13th in the home page, however if i go to add symptoms/period it will say the day is tuesday when it’s actually wednesday (if that makes sense). it’s only a small issue but it does make me confused and sometimes i end up logging my symptoms/period on the wrong day. other than that i’ve barely had an issues with the app and with a little more fine tuning and interface tweaks i think this app will be perfect.

makes having a period bearable. I’ve used a lot of period tracking apps, and I came to this app because I was sick of Clue. The design of Stardust is way cuter and more intuitive to use, and it also looks less like a period/fertility app which I like. It’s not constantly asking me if I’m trying to conceive like Clue does! The notifications are funny and make me dread my period less. 5 stars, thank you to the developers for finally making a cool period tracker!

Disappointed. Really disappointed to see they have changed their privacy policy and will now share your data without seeking approval which is what they prided themselves on not doing and was the whole reason for downloading this app. You may as well use flo or even apple health app to track your cycle if they all have the same if not similar privacy standards because both those apps are better currently.

beautiful interface, easy to use and free. I love how this app syncs your menstrual cycle with the moon, providing information on your hormones and how they affect your body. Never have I had a period tracker app that provides so much information on my symptoms daily. I also like how you don’t have to update it with info daily as I tend to forget… Overall a lovely app so far. I would pay for premium features.

Embracing our cycle. I’ve been using this app to reconnect and learn about the ebbs and flows we go through in our cycle. Learning to embrace this part of ourselves as a natural part of our womanhood and not only embrace it but celebrate it as the life giving force it is. So I’ve found when the messages come up referring to my period as annoying I feel like this is sending the wrong message about what our cycle is. Because of this I feel a pull towards no longer using this app as, as I said we should be encouraging connection to this natural part of ourselves and not rejecting it.

Previously enjoyed this app. I previously really enjoyed this app. I liked that it was free, that I was able to track my period for the first time ever and that I was able to see a trend in symptoms I’ve been having. The reason I’ve rated it so low is that since their update of the encryption key, I haven’t been able to access the app. They haven’t sent any notice of the encryption: I found out on social media and they will not respond to emails about being unable to access the app. The support email that the app says to email also does not work. For this reason, I would not recommend the app.

Broken. Needs serious updates.. Don’t bother downloading this app until it gets some serious updates. I have been trying to use it for 3 months, hoping they would fix the glitches that make it basically unusable. Eg, calculating length of cycle incorrectly, days of the week not matching dates (click on Thursday the 4th and then it comes up with Wednesday the 4th), daily notifications that my period is late even though I’ve logged it, adding new symptoms deletes previously added ones, sync with friends straight up doesn’t work, and sometimes the app won’t even open/load at all. I tried to persevere, really I did. But now I’m switching to another app because there is no update in sight and it has become a time waster and too frustrating. Super disappointing. I was so excited when I discovered this app. Maybe I’ll check it out in a year when there’s a chance it’s fixed.

Awesome but too many bugs to bother. This app has very cool features and a very vibrant aesthetic, but it’s SOOO buggy. Freezes on startup almost every time, dates don’t transition very well, if you enter data you lose some functions and have to restart. I will keep an eye on this app for improvements but it’s really quite useless until the bugs are ironed out.

LOVE THIS APP… WHEN IT WORKS. Today is my second time trying to remember my past details as I logged on and it completely erased my profile. Love the astro features and the daily messages but I wouldn’t recommend using this app alone. Make sure you record your info on a calendar or in a book incase this happens to you

More options needed. Would be great to have an option for changing contraception methods and for unknown last period. Am trying to find an app to track cycle now I have stopped using contraception (not for getting pregnant) and everything seems to rely on you having had regular periods, which makes it difficult for those of us who aren’t perfect moon goddesses.

Only 1 problem. Love this app but I find when I try to extend my period length it doesn’t work. I suffer from pcos and sometimes bleed for long amounts of time like 3+ weeks. I have not been able to accurately track that on the app and that is very disappointing from an app I like very much. I hope this will be fixed

I really wanted to love this app. The premise of this app is fantastic although I was surprised there was no option for TTC. However, there is a mysterious notification constantly showing that I can’t locate and more importantly when I open the app I receive an error message: ‘This is embarrassing. We can’t load your cycle at the moment. Our tech wizards have been alerted and are concocting a solution.’ Please fix, I won’t lose hope!

I hope it improves. I had previously downloaded this app around April 2022 and I absolutely loved it - I recommended it to all the people in my life who gets a period. With the update in June 2022, I was disappointed to see some of the updates — the hormone graph had changed from simple lines to more of a 3D look? I am finding the colours used in this updated version hard to see/decipher, although I do really like the inclusion of the different menstrual phases I.e luteal etc. I’ve been finding with the new update that the app is glitchy, and not all the elements load all the time, every time e.g. one day the hormone chart won’t load, the next day you can’t move around the moon circle chart etc I really really love the idea of this app and would definitely consider having it as a paid app (not subscription), however at the moment I’m finding myself using it less and less, and tracking my cycle with different apps as a backup in case this one doesn’t work out for me. To the developers: please consider bringing back elements of previous versions, or creating an update that isn’t too involved (so it doesn’t glitch) because you have such an amazing concept with this app and would love to see it succeed!!

Terrible app not worth the time. Yeah it was good for like 2 wks Then they updated - still with Alllllll my details. Then I’m unable to log in. Even with another email address and writing a few times asking for help can’t get through. The app is useless. Don’t waste your time, they won’t help either if you write to the contact they have listed on their website. Very dissatisfied is an understatement.

Downgrading my review from 3 to 1 stars. Too many issues I can’t be bothered to list them all. I’ve written to support 2-3 times and already left a review with feedback. Today on top of everything it says I’m on cycle day 28 on the log page whereas the calendar shows it’s day 31. I’m constantly confused and despite daily use I feel like I don’t know where in my cycle I am. I’m also in Australia which messes the whole thing up even more (which cycle day,the astrology, the alerts I get). Deleting now and returning to 100% pen and paper charting which I’ve always done - this app is no longer get a helpful complement to my charting and only makes me feel less connected with my cycle not more. Shame!

Adorable! Gorgeous!. This app is so cute and creative, definitely the most adorable period tracker I’ve ever used. I’d give 5 stars if it was capable of connecting to the Apple health app because I want to keep using Stardust which means I’m currently plugging info into both apps. Also, I absolutely love the wild notifs I get from this app. Bravo!

Very disappointed. 1: Privacy I thought this was a really great app because of how it showed your cycle with the moon, and upon downloading the app and opening it it says they will never sell or show your data to anybody, but after actually reading the whole privacy statement it very clearly states they will give your data to any third party or government upon request. This did not bother me much as I live in Australia where abortion is still legal, but if you are effected by Roe v Wade’s overturn then this is very unsafe. You also cannot delete/erase your data anywhere or delete your account. Even if you don’t care about that, it’s extremely dysfunctional and after I noticed that I recorded how long it took to open - 2 minutes and 29 seconds. If it doesn’t do that then it tells you to verify your email which takes forever because they don’t sent the email for a few minutes. You have to do this every time. In short I just wouldn’t recommend this app to anybody and would suggest downloading something that actually values your privacy and safety.

No option for pregnancy in app - if pregnant app becomes redundant. Great app - plain and simple! Unexpectedly fell pregnant and there’s no option to include pregnancy journey (whereas other apps such as flo have a pregnancy option which provides insights into body changes and baby growth etc)! Disappointing as the app is not useful to me now and is waste of money if paying by the year! Besides that - good app for general period tracking and astrology insights.

Needs improvements. I love the idea of this app and loved it when I first downloaded it. Since the updates, it has been nothing but glitchy, unreliable and always logging me out. I pretty much never use the app now because it’s too much of a hassle. I really hope the developers make some much needed improvements to the app to get it to where I know it can be!

Really good app just not great. I found this app through tiktok and at first I was really skeptical, however this app has such a cool vibe that I have never seen before!! I feel good about the tracking options it’s a super easy way to digest the information presented to me! The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that as a nonbinary person going through a period constantly seeing she/her pronouns being used for me is disheartening. There needs to be an option for gender neutral terminology please.

Love the app! Has a few bugs. The first tracking app I absolutely love and look forward to using daily! There is a bug that sometimes when I open the app the home page is basically blank and gives me an error message. I have to close and open the app a few times until it’s normal. Hopefully will get fixed soon <3

Interface is cool but needs improvements. I initially did love this app, the interface is nice and it’s original not like any other period app I used before. But it needs some work, it’s not very practical. You can’t skip forward and see what the forecast is for the following day, you have to wait to read it on the actual day. I also got pregnant, then every day I received a notification saying that my period was late. There was no where to track that I wasn’t going to get my period. I then had a miscarriage and now I’m still receiving the notifications that my period is late. I just wish it was more intuitive.

Was great now I’ve lost everything. I only recently downloaded this app. It was great and then a few days ago I couldn’t log in. Now I have to enter an ecyrption key every time I go in and it always wants me to answer questions such as mothers maiden name etc. Today I wanted to add symptoms and all my info regarding current cycle has gone. Loved the app and recommended it to all my friends but as of this week I’m having second thoughts.

Sexiest period calendar on the market. The functionality and design of this app leaves others in the dust. I’m so impressed by the features and aesthetic of Stardust. The insights it gives are great and that you can log everything so easily and beautifully. It’s magic

Glitching and updates !!?. I love this app but recently there have been so many crashes updates and glitches. I lost all my cycle information from 2 years and had to start again Otherwise I adore this!! Please fix the bugs as it’s the best app out there

Logging dates. I absolutely love this app as it helps me track my periods better than other apps I’ve tried, but recently I’ve seen I have to manually adjust the dates so it knows I’m actually on my period still. It does this for ALL the days during the period, and it’s beginning to become annoying. Please fix this developers, as there’s times I forget to adjust the days.

Amazing. I never ever review apps but?? This is an amazing tracking app. There’s so many options to select, as well as personal notes and it also gives insightful advice based on the moon??? Like where has this been all my life. I’m yet to run into an in-app purchase too, most apps have one of those laying around but it seems this doesn’t!!!! Also I love the dark layout, I feel that all the health apps on the market are bright which really deters me. Anyway!!! Get!!! This!!! App!!!

latest update is completely broken. used to love this app, but the latest update has killed it. issues logging in with the new encryption key, constant 404 errors when trying to add my email to my account, lost half of my symptom data and attributed the other half to the wrong days, and while all my data is visible in the calendar, the moon phases on the homepage are all blank and telling me to add a period to get started. the email address for support in the error messages is incorrect and just bounces back to my outbox, and the in-app link to contact them just tells me to try again later. if i could revert back to an older version of the app i definitely would, it’s so broken now that it’s nearly unusable.

What happened?. I was loving this app but the new UI is confusing and hard to use. I can’t find anywhere on the home page that tells me what day if my cycle I am on. Adding symptoms too is frustrating as I click a past day on the calendar and click plus but it ends up adding tj todays date.

Cant connect with friends :(. This app was free and I still feel scammed. It takes a double degree from Harvard to use it; but it take a rock to the head to comprehend any of the star sign stuff. I liked this app. I liked it a lot. before the update; my acquaintances and I (grammar hon hon *eyebrows*) used this app, we were ovulating, we would stand in a circle and clap around the ovulating person then preform a ritual stylised like Midsommar crossed over with shrek. Very serious stuff. But now it just doesn’t multiplayer :(, I cant connect with my friends :(

Why 4/5 stars. I really like this app and its content. I have only taken one star because of some running performance issues: - it seems to crash if left running in background apps for 24 hours - rather than the app reloading, it completely shuts down. - it has also on occasion crashed when attempting to save daily symptoms.

No cycle data. Pros: Love the idea of no data sharing with a cute bonus connecting to the moon - easy to track during travel on holidays just look at the sky outside, was very helpful. Con: logged me out everytime, forget which option I sign in with. Now that’s fixed. Worst; no cycle info anymore on the dash, what’s the point in having this. So hard to check when a period is due, I use this specifically as my monthly reminder. Plus no cycle details anywhere to be found, shows past cycles in the calendar, but no phase info or anything useful

AMAZING app but weirdly restarted?. i have no idea what happened but when i opened the app today everything was restarted - i got a new encryption key and had to put in new data. the interface was also different so ig it had updated, but i don't know why it erased all my data?? i couldn't remember my last period so i had to guess and my moon sign is wrong, im a gemini moon not a cancer! other than this tho, i adore this app so so much. ifs got a beautiful interface and lovely messages, and its super fun to use which is weird! i do miss some options in the craving section when it updated, like the cánnábís one

The only tracker app to use. Beautiful design, easy to use, track symptoms, funny and lovely reminders (that lighten up your day) - 10/10 recommend! (Also if there is ever an issue, which is rare, the team are very responsive and supportive and lovely and help resolve it asap)

My favourite app in all the lands. I am deeply in love with this app. From the gorgeous, quirky design to the user friendly layout and every single pixel in between. In my 37th year I am actually beginning to understand hormones on a deep level. I paid for the extras, lost 2kg in a month from following the food suggestions for my cycle. I feel incredible and I’m still learning each day. This app has given me so much power and reclaimed parts of my personality I thought were “crazy” that I now celebrate and lean into.

La amo. Busque más de una década una aplicación que me permitiera visualizar mi ciclo menstrual sintéticamente, pero con belleza. Me sorprendió mucho stardust con cómo cruza info lunar con mi ciclo y con los cambioshormonales. Recomendadisimo!!

great app. love the app but it wont let me say i skipped a period for a month? like it says i had it and wont let me correct it

I love the aesthetic, could use more options for something. I don’t really believe in stuff like witchy-ness and other horoscope kind of stuff, but I really like the aesthetic of it, it’s a very pretty app, and it’s fun to see what colour witch I am and those things. I chose this app because I heard it was made by women, which is nice. My only suggestion is that you add cervical mucas (discharge) amounts. I don’t notice the consistency of my discharge, but I notice that some days I have heavier discharge, it would be nice to track it. It’s usually the same consistency/thickness just different amounts.

One thing to add. I love this app, I’ve never had any problems but I’d like it if you added pause for abortions as you don’t get your period for while after ❤️

Wish could input BBT in Celsius. Really like this app. Use it in conjunction with NC. Only pitfall is that I wish I could input BBT in Celsius. Can’t seem to find this option anywhere. I don’t use Fahrenheit and is too much of a hassle to convert everyday. Hopefully it will be added!

great app. i really like this app! it's the best one i've used so far, (and trust me, i've tried a lot of apps) because it's great for keeping data and it's accurate when my period starts. i do wish it has more symptoms to record though like maybe some more mood ones or just other symptoms and cravings in general. that would definitely top it off for me! otherwise i love it!

Glitchy. Very pretty but keeps telling me it can’t load my cycle. Also gives me the wrong cycle type. Hopefully glitches that will be fixed, I’d rather not go back to the app I had been using previously.

Tehe. This app is great! I loveeeeee the notifications! They r my fave!

Birth control. Hi! I’m really loving your app, but I was wondering if you could please add the arm implant into your birth control section? Please and thank you!

My girlfriend Jenny. Well, she asks me to see this everyday.

App doesn’t open. Since the new update, the app doesn’t open and immediately glitches.

App keeps crashing. I feel like this would be cool if I could get passed the first screen, but it won’t stop crashing

Excellent period app. I love this app ! It helps me follow my cycle, like other apps do, plus the very unique link to the moon and emphasis put on your womanhood and its positivity. Also, this app is not telling you you are a “person equipped with a uterus and a vagina”, which I abhorre, but a woman, as I am and want to stay, thank you.

Crazy Accurate. This app gets my period right down to the day.

Great but why doesn’t it show the day before?. Why can’t I see what symptoms i had the day before or after? Like why can’t I go to the day before and see what to expect like I can see on the current day? Doesn’t make sense. Beautiful app but not being able to see what happened two days before or what to expect the within the days ahead makes it kind of useless

Glitchy. Loved this in the past, but haven’t been again to use the app for 2 months now. It crashes after a few seconds even with deleting the app and trying again

update. I love the app but i’m sad you have to pay to unlock things now since the update:(

cool. very nice period tracker goes hard 🔥🔥🔥

New and Improved-Reclaim Your Power Goddess. Really enjoying the updates and loving seeing the improvements. I LOVE that you can see your hormone levels and where exactly your at in your cycle (luteal etc…). You can easily track BBT, symptoms, and so much more!! We truly are beings of nature so this being a moon phase app tracking your cycle is just perfect. What a beautiful way to connect with our bodies 💓

Amazing (from an actual witch). I love the app!!! As an actual witch myself this is a very useful approach. Non witch folks might not see all the advantages but this really helps me with my practice as well. Further, I think it would take it to another level if widgets were available as well as being available for Apple Watch. Hope to see those features soon! :)

Really love this app!. Edit ** the newest update is **chefs kiss** It’s helped me manage my PMDD and PMS or just general cycle symptoms. I loooove the daily forecasts and check it religiously. I also love the insight and education it gives you into your hormones. I wish I could go back to see past forecasts and I wish there was an option to add/create your own symptoms/medication/moods etc. overall amazing app!!

Losing its charm. I’m editing my review because the new update has made the app look significantly less attractive. Go back to the pink simplistic colour scheme please. The paywall features are also awkward when you say “only witches have access to this knowledge” or whatever, like witchcraft isn’t about being exclusionary. You deserve money for your efforts but not when the app doesn’t predict accurately in the first place and previously free info (that we can google anyways) now cost money. change the wording

This app makes me feel SEEN!. Best period app O have ever used. I love the way it integrates moon cycles and holistic health into cycle tracking. Plus I love the folkloric touches as my spirituality is hugely attached to my cycle. So we’ll designed, so fun, so real.

Used to be a great.. I used to love this app because of all the different things you can note. And I still love that but I’ve noticed recently that it doesn’t predict when my period is coming anymore. And it’s frustrating because it wasn’t like this in the past. Previously I could just open the app and see that it was coming but now it doesn’t do that for me. It’s also frustrating when I want to select a day in the past and add information to it but it will just automatically take me to the current day, even though I was on the day I wanted. And sometimes I don’t notice till I’m done inputting things and then I realize I have to delete it and go to the actual day I selected and do it all over again.

I LOVE this app. It makes me giggle, the humour is amazing, and its accurate. Beautiful design. 10000000/10 recommended

Please stick to info. I find this app really useful, especially when it tells you what to expect hormonally. That said, it’s super annoying when some days are just jokes and random facts. Stick to the quirky tone, but please give actual info about our cycle. It’s why we have the app, not for comedy lol.

Best period tracking app. The best around. I’ve used a lot of these, this one makes if fun and offers a handy cycle view (free) about what general stage you’re in - luteal, ovulation, etc. Also the notifications are hilarious. And data privacy! Obsessed w this app, would recommend

Love the daily messages, so accurate !. I wish it could tell us in advance

Helpful features keep changing. I’ve been using this app for a few years and overall it’s a great app. Would have rated this a 5 about 6 months ago. I like it less and less with each update though… there’s no more “x days until next period” prompt and I have to manually count. I used to be able to click into phases to see what diet is best and how to seed cycle. And now all of a sudden there’s a bunch of things that you have to pay for to access. A disappointing decline, but I’m hoping it gets better again.

Horrible. Can’t even log periods this app is the worst one I’ve used, stop making women pay for essential health services,,, I SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO USE THE CALENDAR

Best Period App. I LOVE this app. I love that I can see my friends and share with my partner. I love that I can adjust period and put symptoms and it lets me know the symptoms I recorded during this phase of previous periods. The moon witch styles are totally fun as well. I just all around think this app NAILS all that I want for a period tracker and more 💜

never loads. I paid for this app and I tried to use it only for it to never load. It just says “stardust” and rarely actually opens. Waste of money.

Works well…. Tracking aligns with the moon phases and you can adjust your period on the app if it’s late. There are reminders/notifications with the app that I don’t care for, such as: “if you got less than 5 pimples today, it’s a good day” -insert eye roll here- I would give it 5 stars if the notifications were a little more empathetic and spiritual

It’s great but…. I love everything about this app but I think after like the 4th or 5th time of deleting all of my progress of tracking over several months I have to move to another app. I was at the doctors the other day and was going to show her my info and I log in and EVERYTHING is gone :/ months and months of tracking just gone. I tried logging out and in again and nothing.. it’s so frustrating so yeah I have to move on.

Lovely app but not 3.99 a week lovely. I like the app it has a lovely layout and I love the spiritual aspect of it. But I dislike weekly subscriptions and feel there quite a nuisance. Also, 3.99 a week is not worth a period tracking app.

Maybe it’s a glitch?. This app is great buutttt you used to be able to click on the phase you’re in and it would tell you what to expect for your body, mind, what nuts to eat (?? I forgot the rest these are the only ones that come to mind) and I loved that but it doesn’t work anymore :( not sure if it’s a glitch or permanent but I miss that :(

Glitch?. The app won’t keep track of my symptoms. I input them and then they disappear even while I’m using the app. Love the app aside from this.

So far so good!. I’ve read a few reviews stating that there are glitches in the app, but I haven’t seen any yet. I’m also tracking my cycle by using the old-school method of writing my symptoms down on paper, so I won’t completely lose all my data if the app decides to crap out. One thing I wish they added was more positive symptoms such as “clear-headed,” “sensitive erogenous zones” or even an option to add supplements that you’re taking like maca powder. I still haven’t used the app to its full capacity (haven’t connected with friends yet but I’d like to try). Otherwise this is a pretty fun little app!

Birth control input options. I really love this app, it’s been my favourite period tracker app that I’ve tried. I think if possible, under the birth control input options, adding the birth control implant as an option would be good for those of us who use that birth control!

Locked behind paywall. Have been using this app for ages. It does glitch a ton. Sometimes you can’t see your info or even what cycle day your on. Since the last update a ton of info is locked behind a paywall which is annoying. I’ll just go back to using apple to track if everything insists on being a subscription. It is pretty though.

Avoiding Women. I don’t appreciate the generic terminology used to avoid calling me a woman. Earthling, menstrator. Its devaluing and disrespectful and not appreciated by an app for its target audience.

Touch glitchy but rad as fffff. Great app when it works, I have used it for 2 years and it lost my data a couple times which is frustrating when you are trying to track your period once a month. Some glitches but it’s very cute and I love the detail put in. The affirmations and the icons used to help you punch in details of what you might be experiencing different times of the month are fun and hip. I do not pay for the subscription and don’t feel like I am missing out on what it says it provides. Thanks for being a cool app in a day and age you have to pay for everything xx

it’s pretty good. I love this app, but I’m kinda sad now that it’s costing money each month (only if I want certain things) because I’ve used this app sense last august and it’s been free till now, made me a bit sad but I 100% suggest this app. It’s overall great.

Amazing app!. Has really helped me keep track of my cycle and stay in tune with my body! At first I was a bit upset that valuable information was put behind a paywall, but it is extremely affordable! My only critique is I wish there was a “productive” or “motivated” feeling as an opposite to the “unmotivated” one. The closest option at the moment is “energized” but that doesn’t always make sense.

Can’t see data.. Deleted and redownloaded the app as well and I can’t see the area charts on the home page. Just blank with a thick white bar under the graphing area.

Erasing women. I was looking for a period-tracking app to help me connect with my feminine, not an app that calls me a “menstruator”

could be better. half the time it logs me out and i cant log back in, as in it doesnt let me. and its kind of difficult to change the days you're menstruating incase your cycle is a few days early or late. could be better ive had this app for a while

Cycle days off. Showing cycle day 14 for ovulation as a week before next period ??? Ur cycle starts on the first day of your period not your last day of your period, so when you enter your ovulation it’s a week off ..

Amazing app!!. It’s a great app me and my mom share our cycles on it! 10/10 Recommend.

buggy. really love this app but it’s not reliable :( I’ve been tracking symptoms for at least two months and when I go back to see the details of my past cycle it says no symptoms…but if I go back in the calendar view I can see what days I logged and what symptoms…it would also be great if this data could be exported if I ever needed to present it to my doctor. The clue app wasn’t as fun but it was better with tracking and I might switch back.

Can’t Stay Signed In. I downloaded this app after someone shared it on Instagram about 2 weeks ago. I signed up, entered in all of my information. I had chosen to receive all of the notifications/reminders, and after a few days I realized I hadn’t gotten any so I opened the app and had to ‘log in’ which required me to sign up and enter in ALL of my information again. So I did. I started getting some notifications, most recently one that said my period was going to start in 2 days. 2 days later (today). I opened the app, and I was yet again back to square one. The app wanted me to enter in all of my information again. And I don’t feel like doing this every time I want to take a look at the app. It’s not just ‘signing in,’ I have to enter my name, email, birthday, last period, cycle length, etc. every time. And when I can get into the app, my horoscope never loads anyways. I wanted to love this app for what it offered and how it was advertised, but it just doesn’t work for me. Great concept, but I don’t have the patience.

Love it but needs a fix. I've been using the app for a while and never had a problem receiving notifications for when my period was near but in the past couple of months it ALWAYS signs me off of my account and I have to log in, verify my account via email and theeeen I can log in again. Between having to do that everytime I want an update (because since I'm logged out and doesn't let me remember my account in the app, it doesn't send notifications) and not receiving notifications, it's a downer. Also when I try to add my phone number to the my account in the settings, the button literally doesn't work and does not let you type anything. I really do like the app and the concept but having to do so much work and not receiving notifications is kind of defeating the purpose for the user. Really hope you guys can improve this plsss 🙏🏼

Love being a witchy menstruater with safe data 🥀🧙🏻‍♀️✨. I got my period randomly as my implant bc is nearing its end, so I needed a new period tracker app as I haven’t needed one five years. I did a lot of research about which are the best apps for saving data locally (if you’re American, you know why) and came across this one listed on a forum, and good golly I’m glad I did. I love that it shows how my period is synced with the moon cycle, as I love witchy/ethereal stuff and it’s fun seeing the moon phases along with my cycle days. I also appreciate the variety of symptoms/cravings/events that can change your cycle you can choose from when adding notes. Plus, the push notifications are subtle but hilarious 😂 If I had one nitpick, it’d be that the implant is not listed in the birth control category for the daily notes. The pill, patch, IUD, ring, shot, and emergency contraception are all listed but not the implant. I selected that form of BC when setting up the app, but there no option for “removed/replaced implant” in the daily notes like there is for the IUD or ring. Since I will be getting a replacement in some months, it’d be nice to record it here. Overall tho, I love this app and will be recommending it to all of my menstruating friends! ♥️

THIS IS A GREAT APP there’s only one thing i would change. hi!! I downloaded this app after seeing it on tiktok. I’ve used a period tracker for years now and it is a necessity for all period havers. I really love the interface and appreciate how it calibrates to my cycle. I really enjoy seeing the tips, info, and good foods to eat during the different phases. The only thing that would make this better would be if the cycle would be averaged between all previous cycles. I inputted all my periods since 2018 into stardust, and I really wanted all the info to be automatically averaged for cycle predictions. Instead of it having to be inputted manually and not change as my periods change(they’re usually regular but not always). I LOVE the effort put into this app. You guys are wonderful! thank you!!!!!

A great app!. I love this app so much!! The aesthetic and layout of the app itself is lovely; I love how it helps you to track your hormones and gives you a daily update on how you might be feeling based off your cycle. I enjoy the humor in it and LOVE that they made it clear they don’t sell their data. However some things I would love for them to add for a greater experience overall would be mainly more options for your symptoms, such as sore or tender boobs and mood swings, along with an option for marking the days that you have worked out and have more energy! I’m sure I’ll think of other things as I use the app more but overall I’d give it a 7/10. Compared to the other period tracker I use, there are some aspects that I really like(again falling back on helping you to understand your hormones throughout your cycle) but can still see some spots that they could fill in with more info :)

Disappointing Update. As with many others, I downloaded this app for data protection, but I'm still seeing information online that the security advertised is not adequately protected. Beyond that, the newest update has added additional tracking features, which sounds exciting but....devs....ADD/ADHD is not an emotion, it's a medical diagnosis, and to include "Adderall" as an "Altered State" is very inappropriate (it's included alongside alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, cannabis, and psychedelics). It left me with an icky feeling as a person with ADHD because this condition is already so stigmatized because of how stimulants can be abused, and using it in this context furthers an unfair stereotype that these necessary medications are solely recreational in nature. I guess yet another point here is that the term "ADD" is extremely outdated and hasn't been used in a clinical sense since the 80s. Sigh. Lastly, this is personal preference, but the updated graphics for the tracking icons clash badly with the design.

keeps me wishing *EDIT*. my new favorite period tracker hands down. women owned and quirky ! esp. love the option to choose which certain cravings you had & seeing how menstrual cycles line up so closely with moon phases ! I wish there was a section to track physical activity & sex/sex drive since they both can directly affect your period & symptoms. maybe even a discharge section ??😇 there is a notes section for each day to track things not listed but you aren’t able to track those patterns across the month in a cute graph like the others :( *EDIT* silver lining? they added all of the above options plus more and the app looks AMAZING!!! but with the most recent update the app deleted every single bit of data I had saved and made me create a whole new account 🙃 a whole year or two worth of my cycle info just gone 🥲

Could be Better. Just had an entire review typed out and Apple deleted it. Cool. Anyway, I’ve been around since toward the beginning of this app. At least before it got bigger a little while back. It’s been buggy as others have said. Lost all my data at one point and tried everything they recommended to me and never did get anything back. It took a long time to get an expanded symptoms list but I appreciate it’s more in-depth now. Personally I’m not a fan of the drug-related “altered states” but that’s my opinion. Didn’t find it worth it to pay for the upgraded version because there wasn’t enough educational/interesting information that I didn’t already know or couldn’t easily find myself. If you’re going to charge for that, it needs to be a little more cutting edge and also not so repetitive. Still not sure I’m in it for the long haul with this app but I’d like to be.

Live Laugh Love this app. Ok so I saw a tik tok ad for this app and i immediately downloaded it. And then I had two of my friends download it. I like how fun it is and how you don’t sell data, especially in light of the SCOTUS decision. I have a little suggestion, and it might be something you’re already working in, but I would love to have an app for the apple watch. Most of the time when so track my period it is while I’m in the bathroom where I usually only have my watch. And it doesn’t need to be super fancy. For example, I don’t need to be able to track symptoms or read anything, it would just be nice if I could just simply track my period, then ai can go back in later on the app and fill out the rest of the information. Anyways, thank you so much for this app, I’m really enjoying it.

Nice but limited. You would think a period tracking app for women would have the option to go into pregnancy mode… I found out I am pregnant recently, and for the past 19 days the app has said messages like “try not to think about that ONE reason you might be late,” as if being pregnant is terrible or unwanted. Not super inclusive to woman-kind in my opinion. The ability for women to create life using our bodies is pretty amazing and should be celebrated! I don’t need this app to give me information about pregnancy or track the growth of an embryo/fetus, but it could at least acknowledge that a woman can become pregnant… and that it might be a wanted pregnancy. I love the astrology part of the app and the funny sayings, but it seems only geared toward single women avoiding pregnancy. Update- the developer responded and there is a pregnancy mode; they also seem open to updating their wording to be more inclusive. I’ve raised a star.

The app is cute but never works. I love the concept of this app, and I love all the different things I can mark down about my period, but the glitches are driving me crazy. I’ve had issues with it since I first downloaded it, which, at the time, I assumed was because so many people were getting the app at once. Now, I’m not sure what the problem is, but I hope that they get some major bug fixes soon. I’ve opened this app at least once a day for the past week to get a feel for when my period would be, and it never once loaded. Finally, I got my period and went on today to log it, and once again, nothing is loading. It keeps saying, “oops, something went wrong!”. My app is updated; I’ve tried to open it both with my wifi connection and on cellular. I also just tried deleting the app and redownloading it, but it still doesn’t work. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to start using another app which is disappointing because I love Stardust’s concept!

Love it!! But….. I’ve been using this app for about 2-3 years now. I absolutely love it because I’m a moon child and practice some forms of witchcraft. When I found this app I was so excited and I have not been disappointed until one feature that I absolutely loved was taken away during one of the updates. When my app first opens, it displays the cycle circle at the top and a linear graph right below with descriptions of the menstrual phases. Once upon a time, I was able to click the phase I was currently in (ex. follicular) and it would give me descriptions on how this specific phase would affect my body, sex, diet, etc. I LOVED THAT PART! Now, when I try to click it nothing comes up. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT IT BACK!!!! It is extremely useful for women like me who practice naturopathy and/or homeopathy. Other that that, I love it!!

My favorite cycle app 🌖❤️. I love Stardust. Even though there are some bugs, it is an infinitely better user experience than the other period trackers I have used. Maybe the astrological stuff isn’t for everyone, but it makes me feel so much more in tune to the natural world to track my period against the moon. Stardust makes me feel like my period is a beautiful part of me rather than an annoying weight on my shoulders. I LOVE all of the new tracking options and I look forward to more being added. It’s very obvious this app is made with a lot of love and care and that is so refreshing after years of using other trackers that just didn’t feel very personal. I do really miss the hormone display from V1 and I’d love to see it brought back or expanded on. I look forward to seeing this app and this community grow ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Add a different symbol for…. I love this app it’s so cute and makes me feel so happy, it’s been a year sense I switched to stardust reason why I did was because it would track my cycle better in my personal opinion, my partner also get too see my cycle and it very helpful so far no complaints. But one side note I would like to add is I wish stardust would do a different symbol for when I added I did some intimate stuff with my partner. For a example when I was still using flow it would add a heart for when i added a note that I did it that day. To me this would be more helpful so I can see what days I did it or not because it only added stars for anything and so I want to add all my notes but at lest have a different Symbol for when I did intimate stuff. I hope this reaches stardust thank you for the app so far I appreciate it <3.

LOVE this app… but. Okay first off, I absolutely loved this app. As someone who finds empowerment and strength when I am in sync with lunar phases, this app is so perfect for me. The quirkiness and detailed, yet simple layout is fabulous for someone who just needs to throw in some tracking info and move on with their day. The literal only thing I would change about this app is that I wish I could edit multiple days at once/just save the one time/save without it bringing me back to the home page. As someone who also forgets to track sometimes, I often find myself going back in and making sure I’m adding in my symptoms. The constant saving is frustrating sometimes. This honestly just might be a “me thing,” but it’s something I’ve noticed that other apps are capable of and that I wish this one was. At the end of the day, this is a great app, especially for anyone who is interested in witchy stuff too ;)

Great concept for an app; glitches too much. I started using Stardust about a year and a half ago and I really loved the concept of it. It made it easier to track my cycle, and they had all these amazing features. And while I recognize that the app has expanded into a larger audience due to privacy reasons, the app has become very glitchy. This will be my fourth time re-logging into my app and all of my previous information is lost. I don’t remember when my last period was off the top of my head and so I have to restart from the beginning. It does become immensely frustrating when you’ve been using this app for a year and a half and now you have to constantly re-sign up. I love the app, I love the tips they offer for each part of your cycle, the syncing with friends aspect but I do not love having to restart that entire process every 2-3 months.

Great concept and app but needs improvement. I LOVE all the concepts behind this app, and how much work went into it. And I also love the woman owned aspect, and their privacy commitment! But it’s not super practical. Other apps I’ve used allow you to manually log when your period starts and ends. It tells you when it thinks it will start, but you can manually input each day of your period. Basically override the algorithm. Which is SO nice, and really should be an added feature. Also, and hopefully this is in the works, is there’s no ovulation tracking tools. My other app has the ability to log temp, discharge, etc, which is SUPER helpful, and helps you get more out of your cycles. Also, I’ve noticed the moon chart isn’t very accurate. It’s several days off at least. Anyways, it’s such a great concept, I just hope more improvements keep getting made!

Best app I’ve ever used!!!. I have tried so many period tracking apps, but after a few days/ weeks I always stopped using them. But with this…gosh I don’t even know where to start! I found it on tiktok and thought I might as well give it a try. Not only do I love the design of the app, but I actually learned so much about myself and my cycle. I never allow notifications for anything but theirs actually made me laugh while informing me of what’s going on with me lol. It made me feel empowered and I feel proud of my body and what it is capable of (I also love how it gives you a “cycle type” and all the astrology stuff is so fun!). Honestly I will be telling everyone about stardust, because everyone should use it.

New Update is too Rigid!!!. I used to love this app and recommend it to all my friends for cycle tracking, but this newest update is WAY to restrictive! My cycle has not been regular these past few months and when I opened the app to mark down my symptoms it not longer allows me to add certain “cervical mucus” options because it is “too soon.” It is INCREDIBLY frustrating that this is what is happening to my body and yet I can’t mark down these symptoms in the app because you have set up the new update with these barriers! Especially considering that in the past, I was able m to mark down these symptoms without issue! Furthermore I am no longer able to mark adjust my period cycle the day of because the app “do[es] not allow logging into future.” I loved this app but recently you have been greeting rid of all the features that made this app wonderful. Very sad and VERY frustrating! I hope you take away these symptom and cycle changing restrictions!!!

Great app, some tips…. Let me start with I love this app! It’s very cute, I love the hormone graphs, I like that it’s private woman owned, and I love the features including my lunar cycle. What I think this app would benefit more from would be meters for symptoms and an ‘energy level’ option. I say this as someone who has an irregular period, my period does not come anywhere close to a fixed 28-30 days. I’ve noticed with my irregularity, I often know when my period is coming based on my energy level, and symptoms, not really so much by time between periods, or dates, as it has proven to be unreliable. For people like me, having more options to input symptoms and energy level (like “do you feel creative, and upbeat, or drained and ready for bed”), would help more accurately notice patterns and trends in my cycle.

Great app, needs improvement. I generally enjoy using this app, however as I’ve started utilizing the symptoms tracking and notes option and needed to make adjustments for irregular cycles I’ve noticed some issues that make using this app frustrating and time consuming. There is an option that says “edit symptoms” but editing is not what happens. When you select edit symptoms, all prior entries, notes, symptoms, etc are erased and you’re left to start completely over. I lost several days worth of notes documenting some urgent concerns to share with my doctor before I realized this was happening and had to start over from scratch. If this is truly meant to be an edit feature, all prior entries should remain with the option to add or make changes. Editing cycle dates is also more clunky than it should be. I appreciate this app overall and have considered the paid version, but I won’t move forward with that until I see these issues addressed.

Used to be head over heels for this, not so much anymore. I understand app developers need to make some money, but the way they’ve updated this recently is too much. I still use it because its fairly accurate at tracking the cycle, but I would rate it 5 stars still if they just kept the premium features to a separate page or something. I’d rather have a minimal Home Screen of the map with the basic free information, and then another screen for paid content. It just feels like a desk where I have a ton of items to use but I can only actually use a few things. It just feels cluttered. Three stars for accurate tracking and cute aesthetic. -2 stars for a new update that added a ton of paid content thag clogs up your Home Screen. If you could just kept all the paid stuff to another screen or at least put it on another screen I’d give it 5 stars.

Disappointed by paywall BUT still satisfied.. Like a lot of users, I am disappointed over the fact that fun and useful information is now behind a 4$-a-month paywall. I get that maintaining any app is costly, but I feel a Patreon account could have been an option? That would have been cool! I am still grateful that the app is at least still free to use with its most basic necessities like symptom tracking and note taking. So long as that feature is free I am 100% staying with the app. Fast forward to a few months later of me using this app since the pay wall update. It has gone down hill. It lags so often that I am constantly opening and closing it. I’m very disappointed that the performance has tanked with the nerve to ask for people to pay. This app was better when it was free and FUNCTIONAL. I hope they fix this.

Need work. A fan of the idea. Not a fan of the app design. I log my period for a week ago ( I don’t use the app daily; I’m busy), and it refreshes after I click save and takes me back to “today”. Like hello, I am not done just yet. So I have to go back to each day after every save. I also click on the first day of my period and it auto inputs the period label for a certain amount of days(4 in my case). I tried saving “spotting” for the 5th days but it just created a whole new “period length” so now it shows 9-10 days period length 🙄. Other things that are mildly annoying but the above mentioned happened today and it was the last straw lol Anyway. Hopefully it gets a redesign or something Oh yeah the circle graph: not a fan: it’s not symmetrical when sliding down . Fix the spacing? Or the speed, something. Make it look nice. Pls. Overall love the concept. The UX and Design just not “it” at the moment.

I tried, I really tried for many months. I am sad to say that this app has flaws that cannot be overlooked. There was 2 instances where my information was deleted, regardless of me having my encryption key & login information…it was useless. I had to create a new acct and start over. Fine, I continued for about 3 months and I logged in this month, November, to find everything deleted again. Im frustrated. I have to keep record of my cycle because it is irregular, & funny that the message it showed me was “Cannot show graph due to irregular cycle”. Duh! Thats why I need YOU! To track my irregular cycle! I thought, ok fk it, I will start over again… but when I insert the date of my most recent menstruation date, it still gave me the same message. Im done! My cycle plays an important role in my overall health and cannot risk losing over and over again. I really wanted to love it but its just not ready. Perhaps a few years from now I will try again. Best of luck!

I love this app but it definitely needs improvements. Writing a 5-star review because I really love the app and think it really helps me understand what’s going on with my body and I don’t want to negatively impact reviews. HOWEVER, the developers definitely have some improvements to work on. Specifically, it’s a little annoying how the hormone graphs never line up with where they should actually be, and then the cycle forecast displays predictions for a random part of the cycle. For instance, I am 2 days out from menstruation and the hormone chart is aligned with the beginning of the luteal phase and the cycle prediction is for my follicular phase. That being said, I do love the app and the predictions and charts could be really really helpful if they were accurate.

just not a great app. I used this app when it was first announced, then stopped when I realized their privacy policy was jacked up. I have recently re-reviewed the privacy policy and it's fine now. all forms of shared info are anonymized---its fine. but, it's just not a great app. I would compare it to storygraph. it's functional, but not as good as existing products. I have an irregular cycle and I would get a "late period" notification every. single. day. EVEN WHEN I TURNED THEM OFF. frustrating. app design is nice. seriously though, go reread the privacy policy. your data can be shared but it's anonymized. that being said, I think they handled that incredibly poorly and will not be using this app until the function problems are fixed and the dev team tells us why the privacy policy didn't match their advertising/why they handled the situation so poorly.

As a user with ADHD…. I’ve been a period track user since 2014 because I have ADHD and have NO idea what’s going on in my body at any given moment. When I heard about Stardust I was super excited because it’s women owned and telling a man all about my period always gave me the ick. I’ve been using stardust for a few months now and am enjoying it a lot. I appreciate that it shows you what phase you’re in and there are a plethora of information that you can track. With that being said, I would appreciate having more positive symptoms especially under “Feelings”. There’s symptoms like “unfocused” and “unmotivated” but not their opposites. I understand that those positive feelings are assumed if their alternatives are not chosen, but for someone like me with ADHD, being focused and motivated is definitely not in my daily skills. I’ve been adding them to the notes at the bottom but I would really appreciate if they were added in. Overall, the experience of this app is really nice and I like the vibe they’re giving especially in regards to their counterparts. TL;DR. I like the app a lot (especially cuz it’s woman owned) but I wish there were more “feelings” options that included more types of emotions other than just negative.

Great App - glitches can be annoying sometimes. I love this app, and all the information I can track. I love seeing changes in my cycle, and learning more about how my cycle aligns with the moon. Tracking everyday and thinking about my different symptoms and following the moon phases have really helped me feel more in tune with my body. So much so that for my last two cycles, I’ve been able to tell I’m ovulating before even checking the app! My ~only~ complaint is that sometimes the app will randomly log me out or fail to load data, but closing out of the app and opening it again tends to fix it. I also think it would be cool if the app could add a search or filter function, so I could search for a specific symptom (e.g., low appetite) and see what days in my past cycles I’ve marked the same symptom.

Could be better…. So ever since my last pregnancy and having the implant in, my periods are irregular and I just wished there was an option that clearly states “start period” and “end period” like other apps. I also wish there was a monthly view of when my period actually started and ended. I’ve tried selecting every button on this app and cannot see a monthly view of it. A graph view would also be nice to see. I’m someone who likes to see my menstrual flow in months and side by side comparisons. My previous app had these functions and would show me Jan 6 days, February 7 days, March 6 days and etc. It was helpful to see how my flow changed throughout the months. I am always concerned with it being irregularities and constantly check the app to reí and see it’s progress but this app isn’t making it easy. Other than that, it’s pretty and I value the company not sharing our information - privacy is huge to me!

it was really cute and helpful at first but…. When I first downloaded this app, it was mainly for privacy issues and concerns with data sharing. This app was recommended to me by someone I follow on Twitter, and when I first downloaded it, it was really good. I really liked the concept as it was very cute; however, as I used this app more, I realized that it doesn’t save the entries or symptoms that I put in for each day… like it completely deletes it every time even though it said it saved it. the thing is… I don’t even log myself out— I just stay logged in, but for some reason the app likes to log me out automatically which is very annoying because I think that’s probably why my changes are not being saved. Also, it’s not as accurate in terms of predictions as what my other app was, which is kind of disappointing because I was really looking forward to using this app in the long run.

With Roe Vs Wade the advertisement is misleading. Following Roe vs Wade reform they were all over mayo FYP, adds, shares etc. as an encrypted tracker. They state ‘We are encrypting your information to ensure that no governments or companies will ever access data that belongs to you and to you alone.’ “what that means is if we are subpoenaed by the government we will no be able to hand over any of you period tracking data. Reading the terms and conditions that statement is miss leading. Per their terms “ Other Parties When Required By Law or as Necessary to Protect the Services. We may disclose your anonymized information to third parties in order to protect the legal rights, safety, and security of the Company and the users of our Services; enforce our Terms of Service; prevent fraud; and comply with or respond to law enforcement or a legal process or a request for cooperation by a government or other entity, when legally required. “. While they do state health data is not shared everything else is not encrypted. So miss leading in my opinion

frustrating. no matter how much i logged bleeding, it wouldn’t adjust my period, then i find out i can just manually adjust it, which i do and even then i get notifications sticking to their old idea of when my period “should” happen. getting a notif like “watch out! ur gonna bleed today” when i’ve logged my five day period ending already is really annoying. it felt like i was supposed to work around this tracker, rather than have it track me? also it was gorgeous when i downloaded it and maybe the new encrypted version is having hiccups but everything looked stiffer and of poorer quality after the update… I was gonna give 3 stars bc i was so excited at first but how can it be more than 2 if it made tracking my period feel more frustrating than it already is ? hoping the issues will iron out but for now i’m chilling elsewhere. sorry this is a bit harsh, but i hope it’s helpful.

Love it but…. I absolutely love everything about it but out of no where it stopped letting me put in my period days. It’ll load then say unable to update. I love this app so much. It’s amazing but I think it may be time to move on if it won’t fix itself. Really sad though. Loved that it was able to predict my period and ovulation time and it even predicted when I would have craving and mood swings. Obviously it’s not 100% all the time or always get it right but it’s pretty close and I love that:) hope it gets fixed in the future and I can come back. I’ll be checking on it often <3 (Quick update on nov 17, 2023. It worked for like a week then took a dump again. Really wish it would work but this time I really have to move on because I need to know when my cycle is starting a stuff)

Trash that I tried to like for so long but can’t. I’ve had this app for almost 3 years now and it’s never not been glitchy. Half the time the interface changes day to day. What’s shown in the app has a mind of its own. Parts that used to be interactive are not all the sudden not and then are randomly sometimes. I have no clue what to expect from this app half the time other than 3 years worth of calendar tracking, which was the only reason I kept using. Today, it randomly made me verify my email and then no longer recognized my account (even though same email I’ve been using) and no data there. IVE LOST ALL DATA. Considering this is a web based profile, how could no data be there?! Just as unpredictable as my entire experience here and while I hope the team contacts me to correct the issue so I can have my data back - I will not rely on this glitchy app ever again. Honestly the most confusing thing I’ve tried to use for the most simple task… look elsewhere or get a paper calendar because this app is barely doing that at minimum.

Lots to love but a little confusing. I love the design, all the hormone info, the horoscope-type updates each day, the info about the moon, even knowing what type of witch I am ! However, I wonder if my graph is off… my “horoscope” will say “your estrogen is low” but the graph shows it looking high? So I don’t know how they correlate to each other or if they don’t at all and the horoscope is just automatic based on where in your cycle you are number wise?… but if that’s the case then that cool feature doesn’t seem to actually apply and I feel I don’t get the benefit of that service. 😕 Also the period tracker I was using before predicted your period but you had to confirm when it started and when it ended, so your calendar didn’t lock in period days that you would have to manually change if they end up being different. I miss that feature.. felt easier to navigate.

I like this but have comments. Firstly I really liked the previous interface and icon design so much better, I am very sorry to day so when I am a graphic and UI designer myself. But functionality remains similar for me. I always have this recurring bug where I try to enter in information on a given day, choosing icons and moods etc, maybe writing a brief note, and then it goes through the loading bar “updating predictions” dance but then does not save anything I just did. I have to do it again for it to show up. This did not use to be an issue so not sure where or when it came up. Generally I find this app much more enjoyable, visually pleasing, and useful to use than others I have tried which are either extremely childish or simple or are not interesting.

Blown away—- gorgeous/ informative. I’m always wondering how hormonal cycles are affecting me so have been curious to try an app like this and am SO THRILLED to have stumbled on this one! First of all it is GORGEOUS. Anytime I use it makes me happy because it is a legit work of art—- the level of detail and care put into the design is phenomenal, and the science is real—- I’ve been oddly not hungry today (unusual for me!) and the app predicted it which made me feel like I’m not crazy and nothing is wrong with me after all (always appreciated!) I’ve tried a couple other period tracker apps with confusing interfaces and much less personality, and will definitely be sticking with Stardust and telling all my friends. Also all the text is legit smart and funny. Can’t wait to use it over a longer period and learn more...⚡️⚡️⚡️

Loved it the first month. The first month with this app was great, I loved it so much. I updated my symptoms every day and I left notes to go into more detail about how I was feeling and what I was thinking. It was really fun honestly. I was a daily user of the app. Then around a month after downloading the app I stopped being able to add symptoms. Now it’s essentially just another calendar. The reason I liked this app so much is because I was able to interact with it and look back on previous days so see what I was experiencing. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, or if this is something I have to pay for to get access to again. Either way I’m disappointed because I really loved this feature and other apps do it for free without glitching. I want to keep using this app but without this feature I don’t really see a benefit.

Literally the best period tracking app ever.. i’d like to start off by saying wow this app is so amazing that it even tells me what moon was in the sky when I was born it also tells me a lot more information about my hormones than anything ever and it even lets me connect my partner to the app so my partner can learn more about my cycle it’s so beautiful and it even gives you a fun fact every day and I actually track my period every other period tracking app I’ve ever had I’ve never been committed to tracking my actual period like I just had the app to have it but this one specifically I literally track my period every time I have it, which is unusual for me five out of five would definitely recommend! 🩷🩷 I forgot to mention that it gives my period a personality. It’s very interesting actually!!

they are NOT selling your information. Since a lot of people seem to not fully read their privacy policy this is what it EXACTLY says: this isnt selling, if the government needs any information, the information will be anonymous. They legally have to do it. "We may disclose your anonymized information to third parties in order to protect the legal rights, safety, and security of the Company and the users of our Services; enforce our Terms of Service; prevent fraud; and comply with or respond to law enforcement or a legal process or a request for cooperation by a government or other entity, when legally required. Any Health Data that the Company is legally required to share cannot be linked to you and will remain anonymous." This isnt selling, if the government needs any information, the information will be anonymous. They legally have to do it. Your information is safe.

love the app but it lost my data…. I love the concept & interface of this app! I’ve had it since it first came out. There have been some pesky issues though…when I updated it a handful of months ago—even with my encryption key—my previously logged data was deleted. I decided to start over and went about using it frequently again. Then I updated it again (the most recent update) and it deleted my data…again. The only reason I updated it was because it wouldn’t let me click to see more in-depth about each phase of my cycle. I wish I hadn’t. I tried to reach out via the contact portion of the website and nobody has responded. I really like using this app but it’s frustrating that all the information I logged disappeared. I tried to log in using multiple methods and it either prompted me to create a new profile or just showed that I hadn’t logged anything in over 100 days.

Pretty but ineffective. The app itself is gorgeous and that’s what enticed me to try it in the first place. Stardust offers a lot of humorous and informational blurbs about each part of your cycle. Also, I like the fact that there are a lot of varying options for things you might experience on your period that you can record. However, as cool as the app presents it just doesn’t work right. Recording the information, especially if you want to input things from a pervious day, is difficult and confusing. Sometimes it doesn’t save at all. If like me you have an irregular cycle the app cannot update itself to your new schedule. Right now the app claims my period is 75 days late because my last period didn’t come when the app thought it would. It’s the right idea but until they work out the bugs I would stick with a more experienced period tracker.

Push Notifications Don’t Update. I want very badly to love Stardust. It’s gorgeous, and I can tell a lot of love went into it. With that said, my period was later than normal, and when I cleared the “forecasted” period days, it began sending push notifications DAILY about missed periods. Even now, several weeks later, when my period has come and gone. I’m still getting push notifications about my late period, and with everything happening in the world, I’m not real okay with that. The support link in app doesn’t work, and I’m not certain the website does either, as I submitted a support ticket and never even received confirmation of it. It’s gorgeous, and I’d love to love it more, considering it really does feel like the most “accurate” app in terms of symptom tracking etc. but there not being a way to fix it after having a late period is incredibly frustrating

Excellent cycle tracker. I had been looking for a cycle tracker that was customizable and I found it in Stardust. Not everyone’s cycle is exactly 28 days and this app allows you to put in your parameters. It tracks with your cycle so easily and includes so many of the symptoms, emotions, and activities that you’llsee throughout your cycle. I like to cycle sync and it’s so important to have all of those options. I also love the reminders and insights on the moons cycle in conjunction with your cycle. AND I love that they don’t share your data because after the overturn of RvW we need to protect our cycle information. The biggest reason I love stardust- when I lost all my data after my phone reset, their support crew worked with me on restoring my data. I love this app.

disgraceful. so first things first: they lied. stardust will NOT protect your data like they said they would (as many other reviews have mentioned). it’s absolutely disgraceful that they claimed that they were a women-owned company that would be a safe place for other women to track their periods. their security policy was likely written by some sort of generator and the encryption that they raved about is no where to be seen. second: the app is awful. i downloaded stardust while the company was advertising themselves as a safe company. i liked the idea of a female-owned company that tracked your period along with the moon. the witchy aspect was very nice. i wanted to compare it to the app i was currently using, flo. first thing i noticed was the lack of options for me to enter. flo allows me to mark my back pain (big part of my periods), specific cravings, etc. stardust is… interesting with the language they use. i had a hard time understanding what the options were most of the time, and some of the options seemed useless (like the specific mac and cheese craving? what does that tell me about my cycle?). now, the app doesn’t load half of the time. it’s also not as accurate as flo, even when i entered data from my past periods (which was hard, considering the lack of options that stardust gives). i think i’ll either stick to flo or start tracking my periods with pen and paper.

Repetitive, & not irregular period friendly. I have an anxiety disorder & working on figuring out if I have any physical health issues contributing to my period but stress has my period irregular sometimes. I’ve been spotting & now bleeding for 15 days now, & when I went to log the 7th day it made me start over the “cycle” but kept my bleeding & mood data, but just repeated all the same quirky notifications and info. Now on the 15th day it said something along the lines of “cycles can’t be longer than 14 days” (I know they’re not supposed to be & it’s just rubbing it in 😭) & I tried again and it erased all the bleeding data for the last two weeks and started today as if it was my “first” day of my period. I love the partner feature though, & the subscription features, & the types of symptoms and feelings etc you can put in. But the main function of tracking the period needs more attention.

Actions to include trans community. I am updating this review from a 3 to a 5 after emailing with the support team for the app. As a non-binary individual with a menstrual cycle, it is really hard to find a good and affirming app where I can track what’s happening with my body and feel secure in my identity while doing it. When checking my app last week I saw a prompt calling me a “wild woman” and it really upset me. I hadn’t seen anything like that in the app for the first month and a half of using it. I emailed support and they let me know they’ve been working over the past year to eliminate all gendered language and that upon my reporting that this one still remained, they removed that part. I am thankful that the app is making accommodations so that all people who experience menstrual cycles can enjoy it. Women, non-binary individuals, trans men, and beyond. Happy to have a safe space.

Could have been a cool app for cycles if not for gratuitous, unnecessary witchcraft mentions 🤨. There are a lot of great parts to this app, great tracking and connection with nature in moon cycles. However I really don’t understand why witchiness or astrologyhas to be involved in any of this…it’s such a bummer to find a solid app that then brings this element of faux preternatural to be hip I guess? I want to connect with nature and understand more of my cycle with the moon which is based in biology and cycles of our planet, but then to be told about my horoscope and that I’m a certain type of witch felt like a Harry Potter game. Maybe consider toggling witch stuff off as an option so folks who aren’t at all interested in witchcraft could still use a solid app that’s usable for people of all backgrounds. I promise there are those out here interested in connection to the moon & cycle without astrology playing into it!

Don’t trust their social media marketing. Let’s talk about the major issue. All over social media Stardust is claiming to be the only period tracking app that protects its users. This is completely false. Multiple places in their terms of services they mention they will give data to law enforcement and will comply with legal requests to protect themselves. They claim to be encrypting on June 29 but that won’t protect your data all that much if law enforcement asks for it. These people are marketing on a time of fear and concern to take advantage of said fear to get more customers. I’m appalled at their actions and do not recommend them. At least other companies don’t lie about selling your data. On top of that unlike most period trackers you have to email them directly to actually get your data removed you can’t just delete it yourself. Other than the glaring breach of trust this app is usable. It’s fairly flowery in language, hard to adjust and work, and not really customizable. If you have anything other than a perfect period cycle it won’t really work for you.
