Has Potential But Has A Long Ways To Go. First, I wanted an app that gave great details for how well my charger and cables were working. Something that would help me analyze my equipment to make sure I’m charging as fast as possible. So far everything has failed me but this one is the best. This App gives the most detail in a professional display. Now for where I’d like to see improvements: I would like to see Voltage, Amp, and Watts with the available views of Current Time (updated each second), Minute average, charts with 1 minute, 3, 5, 10, 30, hour displays. I’d also like to see the phone temperature. Ultimately the temperature of the battery. I’m not sure if the IPhones have the abilities. Lastly, I feel that if you choose your language, then other languages shouldn’t be displayed. For example, I chose English and many options of animation were in Chinese. This isn’t a big deal but as it gets perfected I feel like it’s needed. If the creator can accomplish this then I would be willing to pay for 2 cokes.

Amazing app, but.... Would love to see this show when locked as well. I’m no developer, but I’m sure others would enjoy that feature as well. Definitely recommend this cool app to anyone thinking of sprucing up their charging experience!

Works somewhat. I downloaded this app to check my charging speed/rate. That works well. I ended up paying the 1.99 for the pro version and after following the app’s instructions on getting the charging animation to work when plugging in the phone, it shows animation launch failure in the notifications. Once it gets fixed I’ll give it a 5 star review.

Very inaccurate. Showing bogus info. Also most of the previous reviews are fake Chinese reviews. Probably paid to promote the app rating. Other than some animation while charging (eats extra battery) nothing really useful.

Great app. Great app, I just wish that the windows battery widget wouldn’t change its text to white when dark mode is on as its illegible.

Works great and is super useful!. Works just as it should. Their screensavers are super neat. I wish there was a way (if there is I don’t know how) to use them on my phone as a screensaver and not just during testing within the app.

Too crude and unstable to be worth one’s time.. The Charger Master program quit working less than 36 hours after I installed it. To be clear: I did not get an IOS update during this time frame which might have broken a previously stable release. The program keeps telling me to choose an animation. After choosing an animation and clicking on “set” it immediately forgets the animation I just set. When I click on “Go” it displays a non-descript error message which says “insufficient times.” Based upon my testing for over a month I now suggest “Battery HD+” by “smalltech sarl.” Battery HD+ is robust, stable, and unlike Charger Master it runs like a high-end Swiss clock

I love it it’s an amazing app. I’ve had this app for ATLEAST 25 minutes but my phone was on 4% exactly and it’s on 6 percent now and it’s only been 5 minutes so it’s kinda slow charging but I love it

locked screen. That app really just different and lit, but the Automation should have been worked even if the phone is locked. please fix this i know it is possible because that will be much greater. Thanks.

Everything is perfect only one con. Everything with this application is extremely well put together. No bugs! No issues! This is amazing considering all another apps ain’t up to this quality even from riches company’s The only con that is preventing me to give 5 stars is no translation on some text. iPad Pro. Love it! For some reason it would not charge without an app? I finally chose chargemaster! Love it!

Worst app on the App Store hands down. Don’t even wasting your time downloading this garbage app. Free version doesn’t even work. There’s nothing about this app that makes it worth the $.

Don’t waste your time. There are so many ads right off the bat that I wasn’t able to even evaluate the software, deleted after several ads and no results.

⚡️. Updated Nov. 25th? Excellent timing. Readings (continuous/cumulative until stopped) match closely with that other app that runs a test between two consecutive percentage values, i.e. 50%->begin …51%->end. Tracks 5 or 6 metrics (but only provides a tool for you to manually convert to/from mAh, A, Ah, W, mWh, as desired) BUT allows you to append the charger you used to the test result. (Choose from a list, mostly Chinese, or input your own: brand, rated W, wall/car/pc/bank, etc..) Free version allows you to test 6 times (unlimited duration (?) but allows check-ins, shares, ad-views to provide additional test runs. Or upgrade for $1.99. The only other option I’d like to see is also tracking the cable brand/length/“made for iP iP iM”?/rated A(s) …that is connected between the phone and the charger… at 25 W power, an inferior or damaged cable can make a huge difference. (I now see it mentioned on CM Pro version) Rating 5 stars because this app is leaps and bounds beyond anything else I’ve tried this week. Oh. Right. NOW WORKS ON 13 PRO MAX :-)

Interesting App, but Political. Has a lot of potential but too many political references for a 5 star rating.

Weather widget highly inaccurate. Shows entirely wrong air quality, wind speed, uv index, humidity, and sunrise/sunset times.

Best one yet. Great price actually helps you understand how to set it up Properly 🤧👍🏻

Error: Can’t find app to open. I’ve walked though all the troubleshooting removed and reinstalled the app and only get an error when charging that it can’t find the app to open…

Not worth ya time. Everyone uses the app just because of the animation feature but guess what? Without paying you can’t even use a animation. Not even your very own custom one. And the animations the app supports can’t use none of it because you must pay just to use an animation that doesn’t even appear when your phone is locked

Not what it looks like. When I downloaded it I bought premium because I wanted one of the animations from premium but then when I go to test it you have to unlock your phone then it pulls up the animation. They should make it to it is your Lock Screen.

It has potential. This doesn’t work if your phone is locked and when I go to charge my phone it’s almost always locked. And when I do plug it in it takes a solid while for the animation to work and I see the app pop on and the test thing. I bought the premium and am now regretting it

Great app - auto kill timer?. Great app! I’d like to have the ability for the app to exit in a certain number of seconds so that I don’t see it when unlocking the phone. This is a feature in other similar apps. 很棒的应用程序！ 我希望该应用能够在一定的秒数内退出，以便在解锁手机时看不到它。 这是其他类似应用程序中的功能。

It’s okay.... When I put my phone on charge it launches the app in the Test section THEN goes into Animation. I wish it just goes straight into animation when I charge my phone but love the animations. Give users one free animation to try and see if they like the app don’t put everything behind a paid wall for them to see if they like it. Again PLEASE let the animation launch directly instead of going to the test section THEN animation when the short cut runs. It feels so clunky when it does that.

Animation doesn’t display automatically. Paid for pro version, set it to do the animation automatically when plugged in, but it doesn’t when phone is locked and unlocked. Might request refund because that’s the key feature and it doesn’t work. I’m on iPhone 12 Pro.

This might be a good app, but….. ….I can find no information anywhere on how to use it. There are many abbreviations next to a lot of numbers and some numbers without even an abbreviation, but no explanation on what any of them mean. Much of this is probably of no importance to me, however, there is no way to learn what information is and isn’t important to a normal user. This app was recommended as a way to find what wattage that wall chargers are putting out to iPad/iPhone. I did find out how to do that, I think, but I question the accuracy. I recently bought half a dozen chargers that were advertised as being high speed, 20 watts and high speed, 30 watts, as well as different makes of high speed lightening cables. When I use the app to test any of them, I get various wattages from 2.5 to 12.5. What am I missing or doing wrong? I’d really like to buy the version of the app that costs $1.99, but I hate to waste the two bucks on something I can’t understand or use. I’d welcome comments to help me solve this dilemma.

Don't buy it. just looks good. Trust me, you'll regret it. If you don't unlock your phone, you can't use this function directly. I can't describe my feeling. I can only say that the software is too rubbish

Doesn’t work on Lock Screen. The animation doesn’t play on the lock screen unless your phone is already unlocked. I assumed it would do the animation on my lock screen as soon as I plugged it in, but the phone needs to be awake & unlocked for the animation to play, might as well leave it on the preview screen when you want to charge.

Not accurate. I used my friend’s iPhone 13 pro max and my iPhone 13 pro to test. Same charger same cable, same charge at 20%, shut other apps, locked the screen. Got several different results, same times shows at nearly 20W, sometimes around 10W, same times around 5W. How?

Why does the app need to know your location when it runs?. Each time the app runs, I get a message that it needs to be able to send you notices in order to work correctly. Why is that? The review said there were lots of different displays. There’s only three.

Ok but does not stay “set”. It would be nice if the battery charging animation would pop up on the screen every time you tap the app icon. That’s what i want. I wasted 5 dollars on something that fails to do what it should

USELESS. I started the app clicked on the button then it did some animations left it for several hours came back played some ads and then said START TEST seriously!! you’ve been wasting my time for some dumb animations👎👎👎 why didn’t you start the test from the get go UNINSTALLED!!!!!

It is an amazing app!. I got it to see how much charge I was actually getting. I was surprised to see that my charger did not support fast charging and I only figured this out because Charging Master told me the watts were super low. I also love all the amazing features, I did a widget and I love seeing what my battery percentage is at with a cool background!

Charging Master. Great work on the app.. my only issue is a small one. I would like ALL of the app to be in English… just a small request.

Wow! Best in Class.. This app not only has loads of great animations and art that you will love, but it gives you extremely detailed battery and charging information! I did not even know it was possible to do all this! While I was a bit worried I would understand how to use it, especially when some content still has Chinese labels, they did an outstanding job of onboarding in English and showing you step by step what to do. Love the art, love the UI/UX, and love the professional tech which often isn’t found with excellent art. Great job developers and artists!!! My only concern is security. I notice that basically the app itself is running the animations, and the phone is therefore NOT locked. So, anyone can walk up to the charging phone and open it. I need the phone locked when I’m charging. Second, I notice that when I lock the phone and then charge from the Lock Screen, it of course fails if FaceID fails to unlock the phone, again demonstrating that the phone is unlocked during charging.

Goodish. I understand that this is a good app and it does give you great animations. But every time you want the animation to play you need to unlock your phone. I just wanted an animation where I see it charging without needing to unlock my phone.

LOCKSCREEN. Wish the animation can work on lockscreen , but other than that it’s a great app.

Still getting used to it. Beautiful animations. I wish there as a way to get these to work on a Lock Screen. Please copyright this and sell this to Apple so you can be rich and we can have this feature on a Lock Screen Also can we get this to work on a lock screen on a hail broken phone?

Must start app manually each time you plug in the phone. Animations are nice. Charger info is also nice. However, the app has to be started manually after plugging the charger. That somewhat defeats the purpose because no one wants plug in the phone then go start this app.

Not working.. It worked one time but now it will not load when I charge no matter what I do. Deleted and recreated the automation, uninstalled then reinstalled the app, powered off phone. Nothing worked to get the animation to play when charging. I made sure an animation was set. I paid for the pro and it does not work. Unfortunate.

App needs lock animation. This is a great up but the only downside which needs to be changed asap is that it doesn’t work when locked! If this app let you use the animations when your phone was locked this would 100% be the ultimate app!

This app DOES NOT WORK in shortcuts. The app worked fine as a shortcut when first installed but now simply refuses to open when my iPhone is connected to the charger. I have to go into the app itself to use, which was never my intended use for this app. I bought it based on the rec of a tech YouTuber. Dud.

Crap. I am not going to use this app that won’t even let me choose anything for an animation for charging unless I pay for the Pro version. Absolute trash and other users looking at an app like this need to move on from this on.

It’s fixed. So far it’s a fun app to use. I previously rated it as 2 stars but there was a glitch in the purchase. All the animations are back.

MISLEADING DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY. I decided I was going to buy the pro version since it said it was only $2.49 and I wanted to support and thought it would get me more animations but THEY CHARGED ME $11!!! Now I’m not cheap but $11 for an app that just does animations?!?!?! Also that is not what was stated when I clicked buy!!!! I also did not get any more animations and it is very limited in what you can do.

Poor app. Too many steps to set this up. For a paid app it should be easier. $2.00 down the drain

Misleading. The app is free to download but inside of the app there is not a single free animation. I am not spending money just to get a charging animation. There is minimal support for English. English is one of the most popular languages around the world so I don’t know what the developers are doing.

Works fine but. When I use the app with my Anker 20W charger it says UCB-C 18W. So far, fine. But, when I use my Apple C-20W charger it says USB-A 12W. Why? Thanks, Steve.

Great app. Great app very easy to use

No MagSafe Support. Does not work correctly with MagSafe. It will refuse to report past the old Qi limit, but watching the time an iPhone takes to charge proved a much higher rate.

Trackerware. This app sent out 190 trackers to google in 9 minutes of use according to Lockdown firewall. Scary how aggressive it is.

Not accurate. Both Apple and Aukey 20W brick charger are categories as USB A instead of USB C. Sorry but it doesn’t provide atleast accurate reading. BTW, I have the pro version
