More software creative items please. I want to decorate my picture with holiday cards but it’s not there. Wish this had more features like card envelopes for decorating different things. Software could be better.

Amazing. This printer was easy to set up and works great for me it was a little pricey but definitely worth checking out.

Cannot print from photo gallery. If there is a way to print from my photo gallery I do not see it. Instead it wants me to print from my Facebook or google pics. Well I’m not a Google guy and I don’t want to search all day on my Facebook pics.

Not working. Printer connects to Bluetooth on phone, but app cannot find printer. Tried uninstalling and resetting multiple times. Can’t use it.

Kodak step. I’m at a scrapbook retreat and brought my little Kodak step printer along. Saved the day! It prints nice 2x3 photos. Great to fill in on pages where you do not have room for the 4x6 photos.

Works great. I love the filter options and it is simple and prints great I love both the product and the app :)

Absolutely amazing ✨✨✨✨✨. This was super fun and easy. I finished setting everything up in about 15. And what's cool about this is that you can add frames and edit the photos to your liking. Anyone can do this.

Great but not good for editing.. I love using it but if you want to edit it, not the best option. Over all it is simple and easy to use and the pics come out clear. Love it!! 😍

Simple to use but not great for editing. It’s hard to “edit” the photos on this app. The only editing I really do is add text to some of the photos and they make it really difficult to resize and sometimes some of the text gets lost when resizing so I have to redo the process. It’s kind of a pain but overall it’s a fairly easy app to use; very straight forward and user friendly. The print quality makes the photos look vintage which is nice :)

Keeps crashing. Crashes every time I open Google photos

Kodak Zink. Received as birthday present. This is awesome. Can’t wait to take a bike trip with the hubby for the year and be able to journal as we go. So excited

Photos. The photo I printed was a little blurry and was not the brightest like how I edited it but besides that it was great!

Doesn’t work anymore. I used mine for about a year before it broke and wouldn’t let me connect it I love this I just don’t know what to do to fix it pls help me

Quality. The picture Quality is so bad

Not worth it.. I purchased this for my card making business to show the way the “fancy fold” cards work without taking them out of the package at the shop. Despite running the calibration sheet multiple times this printer NEVER printed in the right colors. They were always washed (think bleached) out. I’ve gone through dozens of very expensive photo sheets trying to get it right what with all the editing. So sorry I wasted my money on this and all the extra photo papers. Now I have a very expensive hunk of junk I can’t even recycle in my area.

Awesome. So you make it so easy to print out a photo you can simply just hit print in the photo is out in about three minutes less even it’s super easy and you can customize your photos however I put several different frames on several different photos I printed out baby pictures I didn’t even know existed till I download this app this is an awesome app and I totally recommend it thank you for looking at this and thanks for taking the time to review an app

awesome. i just got this mini portable printer for christmas and i already love it! i love that you can use this app to print stuff whenever!

Difficult to use. This app is very difficult to use … especially for a privacy focused user. There’s no way to add photos unless they have been previously selected at app launch. You can’t share photos to the app. You can’t print directly from other apps. There also appears to be no other options except to use this app.

Printing Error - Bad Firmware?. Only 2 out of the 5 in the sample pack printed correctly and those 2 looked great! But I bought a 50 pack of zink prints and now it says “Printing Error” every time I try to print. I’ve tried everything (I’m pretty tech savvy) to fix it but it won’t work. I noticed all the reviews from 1-2 years ago are really good but the recent reviews are terrible and it seems like everyone is having similar issues. It would be nice to download previous firmware to see if that’s what’s going on but I don’t think that’s possible either. Hopefully the next update with fix it I really had high hopes for this lil guy.

LOVE IT. I love this mini printer! It’s super easy to use, convenient, and it produces high quality pictures straight from your phone. Pretty much no setup it was super quick and easy. The app itself is very easy and self explanatory.

It’s great! But…. Overall, this app works great. I’ve had no issues, and everything is smooth and seamless. My only issue is the way you print things. There’s no way to search, choose an album, or anything like that. You also can’t choose the app to share a photo to in the context menu. I would give it five stars if this was added.

DONT UPDATE RUINS COLLAGE. I’m so mad that they updated the app and now my portrait orientation collages get squeezed into a portrait orientation vs when they used to stay portrait but on a landscape orientation. I wish I could revert to the previous version!

Dark. It’s a nice device and easy to use. Love the fact that one can print pictures right from your phone. However, I don’t like that the pictures do not print as bright as they are on my phone. I’ve wasted a lot of photo paper trying to edit the pictures brighter to see if they’ll print brighter, but no luck.

Bad paper jam!!!. There’s a paper jam in my printer there is a simple solution for this u turn the printer on and it will push it out but none of the paper came out when I was printing so I wondered if there was a away to eject it but there in did is not this is very unfortunate cause I didn’t get this printer that long ago nor did I do anything wrong when ever I turn it on it just try’s to push more of it In and get it more stuck is there anything you can do to fix this?

The best and so easy. This app is the best, and it is super easy to use, and obviously you have to have the right printer for this app, but it prints so smoothly and it’s so easy😍

Kodak Step won’t connect to the app. When a device provides directions, and you follow them, it should actually work fairly easily. This isn’t the case here. The app refuses to add the device even though it shows up as a device to select and add. It won’t add it. This makes it completely useless.

Not connecting. I’ve tried everything, Bluetooth settings are on, and it is connected. When I go to use the app, I receive an error that the device is not connected. I’ve been trying for two days, and multiple hours to get my Kodak step instant mobile photo printer to connect and work. So frustrated! Returning it.

No longer able to crop or edit photos prior to printing. It used to work great and now there’s no function that allows you to crop photos to fit the frame. Really limits the use of this little printer.

App can’t find printer?. The printer is connected to my iphone 14 pro via Bluetooth. Says connected to Kodak step in the settings. But anytime I try to print something in the app it says “no devices found” and asks me to select an accessory, but then shows no accessories. So this $70 photo printer is essentially a paperweight. Cool.

Timestamp Removed?. The app is great. I haven’t had any crashes or any issues other than the missing timestamp option. I have used it before but now its gone. Also please add more frames and stickers.

Confused. Giving a 3 start because the printers itself is cool and compact. Pictures come out pretty decent but the app keeps freezing and shutting off when I search a specific album and then wanna print. Any advice?

Printing. I have an iPhone 14 and tried to connect my phone to my printer. My phone says it’s connected, but will not print anything. Why is that?

An ill-conceived app. I am not sure if this is a result of poor laziness or lack of funding, this app should not have passed quality control. The colours you see on your phone does not match the printed results. The app is so useless and lack functionalities. Kodak might as well just let other photo apps to print to the printer directly instead of forcing us to use its lousy app that cannot let you edit and refine your photos nicely, or disconnected itself after each print. I say it’s in one of the top 3 worse apps out of my 1000+ apps on my iPhone. #MajorFAIL

Bluetooth does not connect. Worked initially to connect and print the 3-4 pictures that came with the unit. Bought more paper and put it in and I cannot connect to it with any of my apple products. Frustrating piece of garbage. Returning it.

Does not work. Bluetooth not reliable. Most of the time impossible to connect.

should have never updated firmware!!!. I bought this on Amazon prime deals day and I was stoked to use it for a scrapbooking project. Had some initial bumps in the road while setting it up but was able to print 8 or so photos until I couldn’t stand the incessant “new firmware” notification and downloaded it. Now I’m having the same printing error issue others mentioned and it’s essentially completely unusable! Wish I read these reviews first. Fix or I’ll be returning !!

I can’t join StepPrints. I like this app. The film could be a little cheaper, but the editing is good and the printer that goes with the app is good. But I can’t join StepPrints. Every time I try, I enter a username, e-mail, and password, but when I press Submit, it says an error occurred on the server and to try again later. Then when I try again later, the same thing happens. Anyway, please fix the server or whatever if you’re reading this, Kodak, and anyone else, it still is a good app that I would recommend. Update: I got a developer response and they said that the server was fixed. But guess what? It still says Server Error when I try to sign up. 😡 So they still haven’t fixed this issue.
