My god this game is great. So get this you can create you’re own game WITHOUT coding. You have so many genres items blocks enemies and you can easily make levels. But if you want to upload games you might want a Samsung as Apple deleted the function of uploading games but that’s not their fault. So over all this game is a 10/10.

Great but add some of the old features. Hello I’m Parker and I love the game maker 2D app but please put back the download games and import image features please silent works put them back for all devices ~Parker~

Cool. This game is great, it has everything! Except.. maybe we should be able to actually publish the games and have accounts. Everyone that watches my YT channel is pretty disappointed that no one can actually play my games.. But besides that the game is so good I even played it in quarantine!

I’m confused, everything seemed to work when I’m play testing it, but when I try to play the saved version it doesn’t want to work and gives me the message “We are sorry, this game seems to be broken.” Nothing went wrong on the editor and I can only play it through there.

Good , but with one problem. I love this game. Its so fun to create and very easy to learn. But the reason I gave it 4 stars is because YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY OTHER PEOPLES GAMES!!!

Ease and Cleverness. This app is a great addition to Covid-19 homeschooling projects and downtimes for parents. I see that Apple has discontinued our ability to share games. Is there possible way to create a link for personal use to share with our kid so she can play games she created on her Chromebook? (I have no idea how this stuff works). Other than that, brilliant app!

Tower Defense doesn’t work. Effectively the entire reason I purchased this game was because the android version of tower defense didn’t work. Turns out tower defense doesn’t work here either! Pressing the wave start button does nothing and pressing the start or continue button just instantly takes you to the victory screen. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong but I’ve yet to have any luck with it. That along with the fact that there are many features missing from the android version (the ability to share games with others, the ability to import images from your phone, etc.) means that I couldn’t recommend this to anybody at the moment. 2 stars. Fixing tower defense and bringing over all the android features (along with cross play between both version through the game server) would most definitely result in a five star rating from me. But seeing how it hasn’t been updated in 6 months, it isn’t likely

Request. Love the app! Two suggestions for updates 1. add ability to import image! 2. a way to transform “player” into something else when they touch a power up. For example: player turns into another sprite when touching power up Other than that is amazing!,

Was good until it wasn’t. The game after I saved it overlapped different levels with each other and made it unplayable. please help.

Good app. This is a cool game. I really enjoy it. But there’s an issue. I’m not able to scroll my level, so they end up being really small

Ideas people will love. 1: playing other peoples games. 2: importing images. 3: more tower defense upgrades, and special ability’s for towers and monsters. 4: old school power-up mechanics. 5:A DANG RPG TUTORIAL!!! 6: maybe some more sizes. That’s all I hope you make them.

Great Game! But.... Hi this is a great game and I’m so happy it’s finally on iPad. My only problem/recommendation is that you put a back arrow instead of having to tilt your screen to exit full screen on the level editor.

This game is cool but.. So I thought it was like the demo of the game where you could import images. I wanted to create a replica of new super Mario bro’s but I’m not drawing all the sprites myself because I’m not that artistic. Please add the importing feature back and if I am missing something please let me know.

Great game but could have more features. So first off, I LOVE THIS GAME! it’s super easy to make any game you want, and right now I’m working on a metroid style platformer. That being said, the game is missing a few features, most importantly, the power ups: they are a good addition, however they seem to be lacking some features. Normally in old school games power ups would give you a new ability (ex: Mario getting the fire to shoot fireballs) but in this game, I can’t to do that. In the already mentioned platformer, I want to make it to where you can get different weapons, but I don’t see an option to do that. Now I’m no expert on the game, but I do know how to make games, so I could simply be doing it wrong, but that would be a great feature to add, Another thing you could add is the ability to do a double jump(tapping jump twice) but that’s not as important as the former, but anyways, like I said in the beginning. This game is great, but with these features, it could be even better!

Awsome but... This is great just like the android version, I used to play this a while ago but in the future can you add a feature to import sprite from camera roll? This used to be a feature on the android version.

Community button. On android there is a community button But on this one there isn’t any community button :( please make a community button so people can upload the games

So good but. I love this game I remember trying FPS maker I LOVED IT then wanted to try this still LOVE IT but could you add online levels for iPhone and others it’s really sad I can’t download games because it’s not on here but good and amazing game :)

Uploading levels. You should be able to upload and download online levels like on android, not being able to do this kinda just takes away from the whole game.

This is great!.. With clever use.. I’ve been using game creator for quite some time now, and overall with the improvements the app has great potential. One current gripe I have with the software though is when you are constructing a level longer than 1 screen after picking a different object to place on the level, the level position switches back to the beginning of the level which makes it tedious to make longer levels. I also feel somewhat restricted turning some of my ideas to games sometimes, like implementing a non spammable double jump or different mobility and/or power up options. What I like about this, however, is that there are clever ways to implement this such as having a catapult that stays onscreen right out of the player’s reach, and the player reaches it through a change in the player’s hit box (triggering the double jump). I used this technique in a game called jump gem). Silent works, I had a great time with this app and playing other people’s creations. Great but.... How do I download other people’s games and move the level that I am working on Also how do I import images from photos on the iOS version.

Just 2 problems. I love this. It’s awesome how you figured out how to make a game that has to do with creating games without coding. But when your making a platform game or a top view game , you should make boss selection when your making an enemy. Also you should make us have an option to publish our games or play other people’s games that they made. But it’s pretty good so far. So thank you Silentworks for bringing us joy.

Importing images. Hi I’m new to Game creator 2d btw. And I was wondering where do you import images. I just got the app, and I don’t see a feature where you can import images. Is there a way to, or is it only on the android version.

It’s ok for a beginner game creator but the options limit your creativity, because I wanted to make a game where u earned money and can upgrade stuff like a car or something so I would like a update to the app for more game development options pls, I rated it a three star because this app has helped me a lot in my past years of development, but it rlly does need a update for multiple reasons this is my main engine so it would help not only me but plenty of other ppl😃
