Fabulous!. I was skeptical at first because most AD isn't great but I've been pleasantly surprised with not only how well it syncs up with the play from a TV, iPad or any audio source but reacts to a pause/stop and restarts again with no issues! Also there's been lots of content from paid streaming shows like HBO which I didn't expect. If their content can continue to expand, I see this as a staple for the blind community which has yet to have a staple! Well done!

Spectrum Access. Since finding out about this app a year ago I have enjoyed it immensely. Was very excited to see the new TV shows being added and look forward to more new movies. Thank you for providing this app since going blind I find that services like these make me more involved.thanks.

LOVE IT!!!!!. Just discovered this app a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for developing an app like this.I am so very excited about this new technology. I have been waiting for it for a long time and hoping it will be available on all TV shows movies etc. just as close captioning is. Thank you so much for providing this for free and the only reason I gave it four stars is I have just started using it and there are not many TV shows at all on it. Is there anyway other than checking the app occasionally to find out when new programs and movies are being added? Thank you again!

Great to see access a priority with Spectrum. Accessibility is often an afterthought and it’s amazing to see Spectrum take the initiative and create an offering to makes its content more widely available for all audiences! The app is simple to use, well thought out, and has some great blockbuster content. I’d recommend it to any friend who uses accessibility media to watch movies. Great app!. I am legally blind, and this app has been on my wish list for a long time. Now I can enjoy movies right next to my sighted wife and friends, and they don’t have to hear the audio descriptions. As more shows get added, this is really becoming life-changing! Thank you so much for putting out this free application.

Hate the update!!! iPad won’t open it. This update screwed my iPad spectrum tv up. It says go update it, so I click the ok, it take me to the App Store and it brings up the spectrum tv app. It says open for the button. And it is up to date. But I can’t watch any spectrum on my iPad now. How do I get this update crapper off the mini lapped. 8/3/2020 at 5:22pm.

Best app ever!. This application is excellent! Allows people with visual disabilities to watch movies like anyone else. Extremely easy to use and One of the best applications I’ve had experience with.

Great app, works well!. Great app that's easy to use! It has a pretty good variety but hopefully more and more titles will be added over time. Can't wait to watch more movies with this!

Spectrum App. I’m having a great deal of problems with this app I am not Spanish and it’s in Spanish I’m African American so can you please fix this problem for me

Very pleased!. This is a great app. I think the people at spectrum for putting it together. Only reason I gave it four stars is because I’ve just got it and started to explore it is continues to be as good as it seems I will definitely change my rating to five.

New downloads not syncing. I love to show this app to my students with visual impairments, but when trying it out with one recently, any new audio description file we download will not sync. The page says preparing to sync, but it just seems to spin its wheels and never actually sync. Previously downloaded files seem to work fine. Please fix this, my students love this app!

Poor. The selection of African-American films was inadequate, and most disturbingly they were mostly drawn from movies directed by Tyler Perry. Most of those Taylor Perry movies feature a cross-dressed Perry playing the role of a woman named Madea Simmons. This type of slapstick comedy is somewhat racy and a poor representative of the best of African Americans cinematography. I would suggest that you expand your selection of African Americans movies to include those produced, written or directed by: Joseph Manduke, Theodore Witcher, Spike Lee, John Singleton, and other African-American rising stars. Their work more accurately portrays the African Americans experience in a positive non-denigrating way. Unlike “Gone with the Wind”, “Driving Miss Daisy” and the “Help” I’m hoping you will find classic movies and all-time greats like “Cornbread Earl and Me”, “Do the Right Thing” and “Love Jones.” These are but a few examples of movies that choreograph the African-American experience through a lens that is more realistic, less stereotypical, and non-denigrating.

Audio accessibility. I thank Be My Eyes.com for leading me to this fabulous app with audio descriptions. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to “watch” a movie.

My thoughts on the app. So I got an email from Be My Eyes about this app. I downloaded it and I am very satisfied with what I have seen so far. I have already recommended this app to a couple of friends.

This is fantastic! So glad to have it. Wish there were more movies available that were more current.. This is terrific! I’m going to let more of my friends know about it.

Crashing fixed. When I first downloaded this app, it just kept crashing. I’m not sure what changed, but now it works perfectly. Synced almost instantly to the movie I tested with. I’ve updated this because I think the app deserves a fair review, but in response to the developers, I’m running IOS 14.6 on iPad 6th.

Best accessible app ever!!. This is the best accessible app ever!! Movie access will be more accessible as the app continues to be enhanced over time. Easy to use, and absolutely free!!

Nice Accessibility- still need more titles added and no ASL interpreting/limited kids options. Previously the Actiview app had movies like Wonder with ASL interpreting and disappointing this didn’t carry over to this app. We really need more like this for kids, especially to have access. My daughter is in 2nd grade and starting to read is only now starting to understand many popular mainstream movies because Deaf children who don’t read currently have 0 access.

An amazing start. This app is incredible, and such an amazing tool. I have ADHD and audio processing issues, so being able to have AD going in my ear as my brain (and eyes) get carried to other things is awesome. The CC feature is also fantastic. The only downside is the limited library. This is something that would be especially great to be able to use in theatres, (I would have pulled up the CC in an *instant* when watching Dune), but the “in theaters” selection is pretty much all movies I’ve never even heard of. As of now, I don’t have lots of opportunities to use the app bc of its limited selection, but if major releases (Dune, Eternals, etc) were on here, I’d be using it constantly.

So glad to have this!. The library is bigger. The app is very Voice Over friendly and easy to use. Only change that would be very helpful is to play just the Description track without the audio that is already playing from the television. Hearing voices from the Television and the app at almost the same instant is very distracting.

This is free? How do you make money?. I can’t wait to check this service out. I would gladly pay for the service if I thought it was truly what I was thinking it was. I thought you magically pointed your phone off the television screen and it ripped any audio description from any movie anywhere if it was available. But what a good idea this is. Can I listen to the audio description without watching the movie?
