Was great-now i’m mad. I downloaded this right before a big trip. I took TONS of photos and LOVED the way they turned out!!!! But soon i would try to scroll through the app to access the photos and the app would automatically shut down before i could save to my camera roll. very annoying. i tried various ways but it shut down every time. So i didn’t get to save most the photos from my trip. So when an update was available, i gladly did it. Now, my photos from the last week are on the app, but everything else is gone. All the photos i took in the last month are gone. Idk where they went but i’m sad because i used this app as my main way to take pictures on my trip and now my pictures are gone. very disappointed. Very glitchy and keeps shutting down even after update

Love hate relationship with this app. I love the premise of this app, I love that you get a retro look to your pics and you can’t see them until the next day. However, it’s the glitchiest most unreliable app I’ve ever used. I took hundreds of photos at a wedding this weekend and only two of them showed up or “developed” then I downloaded the two, the app crashed but suddenly 2,900 photos showed up in my photo library, basically every photo 12 times. After spending literally hours going through them i was able to share with friends, but I spent and entire day doing this. If you buy this app I hope you have a lot of patience and time on your hands. This app needs a ton of work.

Literally most glitchy app ever. The pictures off of dispo are so fun and perfect and I have no qualms with them. Every single time I try to use this app and am not actively taking pictures it is a massive headache. Everytime I open the app, even if it is just for a second, every photo I have ever taken in dispo downloads into my camera roll. I cannot actually save the photos I want to save, they save in multiple duplicates AND out of order so I have no idea which ones to delete & where they are. It is horrible. Most recently, I downloaded the pictures & they saved in double duplicates. I decided to delete them all in my camera roll and start over. I went back to the dispo app, started saving the pictures again, the app glitched, blacked out, and shut me out. I opened the app again, and all the pictures were gone! Just decided to delete the app. Tired of dealing with it. Not worth it anymore.

Great app. I love this app. I love that it takes awhile to see you pictures and that you don’t have to take a certain number to see them all the next day. It takes great pictures and they look better than my phone I think. If you are like me and want to buy disposable cameras it don’t want to pay for them this is the app. I just print mine from my phone at the end of each month and it saves me alot of money

App Deleted My Memories. I am so mad right now. I have been a faithful advocate of dispo to my friends and family for a while. I used the app all the time. Recently I went on a vacation with two friends to a tropical island. I took majority of the photos there on dispo. Throughout my trip the app was glitchy and crashing, but i thought nothing of it. When i got home, i uninstalled and reinstalled the app because it kept crashing. I lost majority of the photos from that vacation. The only proof of memories and what happened on the trip are gone. I went scuba diving for the first time and took pics with my friends. GONE! I got dressed up and went out for dinner on/ at the beach with the clearest water I have ever seen. GONE! These memories that i planned on savoring through photos and eventually showing my kids and family in the future were stripped away from me. An app that specializes in photos should be able to keep the photos from being so easily deleted. I am extremely mad and I hope there is something to be done about the tons of lost memories and pictured with new friends that were taken away from me. This is not okay whatsoever. I expect and deserve at least something above an fake apology written by a 22 year old at dispo headquarters. Do NOT download this app if you hope to be happy in life and live out your precious memories in photos. I’ve been crying for the past hour on the phone with my friends. We are DEVASTATED.

Huge Bug. I love the way photos look on this app, but I can’t get over the annoying bug that allows this app to download every single picture multiple times to my camera roll. I took 100 photos on one celebratory day and the next morning had to delete 1500 photos from my phone. Yesterday I took 9 and today I had to delete 200 because it downloaded multiple times into my camera roll. I’ve tried to contact them about this issue but haven’t heard back. Countless updates and this still hasn’t been fixed. Then, if you want to turn off the auto-save to camera roll function, you have to pay them and subscribe. Absolutely ridiculous.

Deleted all of my pictures.. I have had this app for over 2 years and love taking dispo’s with my friends. I used it last night to take a picture of my friend and I but the picture I had just taken and all my other pictures would not load. I didn’t know what to do so I checked the App Store to see if there was an update so sure enough there was and I updated the app. I check back to see if my pictures loaded and they were ALL gone. 2 years of pictures were completely gone from JUST updated the app. There isn’t even a way to report an issue I can only write a review. I would give zero stars if I could

It’s fun when it works. which is, like, never. I used to /just/ have issues getting into the roles I was invited to (getting added is always a several-step troubleshooting process for no reason) but now I can’t even rely on my friends’ photos to load. Or my own! Like, bro, I /took/ the photo how is it not there? Silllly The concept is cool, the lenses are cute (some of em lol), and the new features like prompts and such are fun but gosh. Golly. I feel like the main functionality of the app ought to have been taken care of before other features were added. This app is so unreliable that I don’t want to even use it lest one of my fond memories just disappears into the ether. I gotta be an oldie and use Google photos at this point 😪😪

So Long Dispo. Dispo has been used as my primary photo taking resource for a little over a year. I will finally be giving it up. The app is the buggiest thing I have ever used. Similar to another user, I took my honeymoon photos on Dispo and they are now all gone due to the lack of stability within the app. Currently, I am unable to access my over 10k shots because of lord knows what. I’ve been in contact with Dispo support on several occasions, some good some bad. I adored Dispo and was religious in my advocacy for the app. I got everyone I knew to use it for events, and I wildly regret doing that as I know they are guaranteed to also lose their photos eventually. Developers say they are “working on it”, but in the meantime the app should not be available to the public. You’re messing with peoples documentation of important life events and that is not appropriate. Relaunch the app when it is READY to handle its users. Or add a feature where photos automatically go to the camera roll, because THIS?? This is not it. If you choose to proceed with Dispo, save all of your photos immediately or you might as well kiss them goodbye.

Disappointed in changes. I used Dispo back when it was a simple app where you take disposable pictures. Now all these new updates make it so much more complicated than it needs to be and completely defeat the purpose of a disposable camera simulating app. My pictures never load. I seriously have not been able to look at any of my pictures in so long. The rolls feature is unnecessary, as well as most of the other new features. The only new feature that I think is good is the profile/friend one. It would be fun to just go look at people’s profiles/follow people, but honestly I don’t even need that. Gonna be using a different disposable app that is actually reminiscent of the purpose of using a disposable camera.

Literally STILL crashing. I left a review earlier this week and put in a support ticket (which might I add no one responded to) because the app keeps crashing. It’s been almost a week now and I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the same issue, yet still no fix. It says my app updated today again, but to be honest the issue got worse because of it. Before, I could at the least take a peek at my dispos without fully clicking on them (because then it’d crash) but even that would only last about 10 seconds. Now, after it updated again, all my dispos show up completely blurred and I can’t even see what’s been processed. And before anyone says anything about space, I’ve cleared up more storage than one can clear lol, so I know that’s definitely not the issue of the crashing. I loved the app, but the issue of it crashing has become so frustrating. It’s also just sad when you take a bunch of pictures hoping you’ll be able to see them and now you can’t access them at all. Someone please fix this because I know I’m not the only one dealing with the issue.

Good app , but could be fixed. pretty good app I like using it to take pictures because they have really good quality and a cool filter on them. The only thing I don’t really like is how I can’t delete photos. It says try again and never works. Overall tho, I like it and being able to separate my pictures into rolls or categories. Another things that’s kinda annoying is sometimes the photos just won’t load.

Speedshot … really?. Doesn’t this defeat the point? Don’t get me wrong, the graphic, interface, and premise are all quite beautiful but y’all have just put a petrol motor in an electric vehicle — you’ve defeated at least half the point of a disposable camera emulator. And for what? A few folks who are impatient? No matter our eagerness and impatience to have the photos developed now, Dispo requires us to wait, just as we must wait when shooting film. Or at least we did. Now Dispo is just a social media platform with camera filters, destined prey to the countless apps who already do both media and filters better. Your one unique feature is slowly unfurling, and I feel a kind of grief I hope isn’t too late to be undone 😢 Please. The filters are great but that’s not the point. The point was the wait. In this era of immediacy we need a pause, and not one we choose, but one dealt to us without exception.

Not As Good As It Once Was. I love Dispo and so do all my friends, but it’s not the same as it was a few years ago. Now it’s slow, very glitchy, hard to use efficiently, and the worst part: the ads. The ads make it nearly impossible to just go through your pictures without have to wait for a 5-10 second ad every 2-3 pictures. It’s so annoying I’m not sure how much longer we’ll use it because it takes hours to scroll through an album of pictures. :(

ALWAYS crashing. i love dispo, i have been using it ever since it launched and have gotten a countless amount of friends to download the app and use it regularly. i have my whole life documented on this app, i use it daily. however dispo has really been disappointing me lately. it glitches out so frequently and completely crashes. i love taking a bunch of pictures on dispo, but it is so frustrating when it is always crashing! i am too far in at this point, so i can’t stop using it. although it really frustrates me when this app is constantly going through periods of a week or so when it has no issues and then and immediate change. PLEASE fix this.

Completely Sold Out. The developers of this app should be happy with the product. I love the camera and filters, and I think the adaptation of a social media aspect/ sharing your pictures with friends has the potential for a bright future. My problem is with companies that think they need to implement subscription systems into situations where they do not belong. That’s what this app has done. And to make sure their users purchase the subscription, ads have taken over like a cancer. This never used to be a problem, but they are trying to create a fake market for their subscription because the product is not worth paying for. If you try to look at the pictures you have taken this apps free version, just know that you will receive a full screen ad for “Indian wedding picture” every 10 seconds, no exaggeration. It truly feels like a prank seeing so many ads so consistently. I need to emphasize that these ads all full screen and even some have a 5 second timers on them making the app ridiculously annoying to use. TLDR: Dispo pumps full screen adds into places they don’t make sense. This makes what used to be a good product now not worth your time.

Great app killed by monetization. I used to love Dispo, it’s got a great formula and was fun to use but now that it’s been monetized, the entire app is immobilized by pop-up ads every 15-20 seconds. I am not exaggerating about that. I fell in love with Dispo because it was easy and free, and the monetization makes me feel like I’m being forced to pick between the two. I’m not against the developer making a buck, but $10 a month is way too steep in my opinion. Since I have thousands of pictures in Dispo already; the torrent of ads I get will require several days of my time and frazzled patience to offload the memories I have stored without paying, and I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place by this very intentional scheme. I’m hopeful a friendlier monetization scheme can be worked out that doesn’t force out users who can’t pay but in the meantime, consider yourself warned.

WHERE ARE THE ROLLS!?. Went on the dispo app today and I can say it was one of the most disappointing moments of my life to see I no longer could find the rolls I have been apart of for years that contained so many memories. Me and my college teammates created rolls every year to highlight all the moments from the season and events and so many memories were shared there. I am so sad to not have access to them or at least no way as far as myself and friends can tell to access them! The only reason I used dispo was for the easy access to share memories with other people…disappointed to have lost that and all those memories. All I can say is this app is no longer worth getting or using.

The best camera app. DISPO IS SO SICKKK! I swear this app takes better quality pictures than my actual phone camera and the filter it puts on it is really nice! I like the app because when you take the picture, you can’t see what it looked like. Some people say that that’s dumb, but it’s actually nice because you don’t spend 20 mins trying to take a good picture, you just take a few and not even think about what they look like. Then the next day you wake up to a little surprise to see your dope pics from yesterday.

App has become a mess. I absolutely adored this app when it originally came out, very straight forward take pictures and received the “film” the next morning, but oh man has it become a nightmare. I took some photos for my birthday a few days ago and have yet to see the photos because they won’t load, better yet I don’t even know where they’ve gone, the “rolls” feature is unnecessary and frustrating, the attempt of turning it into the next big social media has ruined the integrity of the app. Sometimes less is more, and in this particular situation that is the route I wish the app would have taken. Very disappointing.

photos not loading. I really like the app, but I’m starting to not like it because half of my pictures are stuck in the uploading phase and I can’t access them. And I tried logging out and logging back in and they’re still not uploading properly and I still can’t see them. What’s the point of using the app if I can’t even see my pictures? Hopefully this is just a bug and they can fix it with an update or something. I reached out to customer service and I’m waiting for a response.

I would love to use the app (Update: ITS FIXED). I recently downloaded the app and tried to sign up several times. I enabled access and put in my phone number but no matter how many codes were sent I couldn't get past the sign up screen. It kept saying "Please Try Again, Could Not Find User", like duh! I am trying to be 😭 I was really excited to use it but disappointed by the weird glitch. Update: They Fixed it!! I am able to use the app and i used it for my friends birthday, we absolutely LOVED it. we weren't stressed about "looking perfect" and it really does give cute little filters and vintage looks to the photos. it's easy to use and everyone gets access to the photos the next day at 9am! perfect photo app for nights out 🥳

GREAT APP BUT LOTS OF BUGS. This app actually used to be one of my favorite apps to use but I think they spend a lot of time on upgrading the app and adding a lot of new features rather than fixing the features they have and the MANY bugs that run through the app. There is a lot of the times that this app doesn’t work for me or load the pictures I have on it. It’s a shame because it’s not even fun to use anymore all it does is bug out and exit the app :(

Once great. I’ve been using Dispo before it was even Dispo. That’s to say, I’ve seen the rise and fall of a great app. Dispo was the best. At its peak it was my favorite app for capturing fun memories. You had access to all the cameras, the ability to instantly save photos, and a whole lot more. Once Dispo Max was released, the free tier of the app removed most useful functions. Nearly all cameras were removed and put behind a monthly or yearly subscription. You can no longer save photos after taking them, and they all have an annoying watermark + a time stamp. Last week I was so fed up that I was ready to subscribe to Max, just to realize that the price has literally doubled. A camera app doesn’t provide a $60/year value to me, nor should it to anyone. Hopefully the Dispo team learns from their mistake.

horrible app after the big change 3/2/24. so I went to save pictures to camera roll and it was bugging so I went to go update the app I come back to the app and ALL of my photos are GONE. every single picture I had taken before the update, disappeared on me including the ones I didn’t get to save to camera roll. The app looks completely different and you have to pay for features you didn’t have to pay for before. I am so beyond disappointed that I lost my pictures. I can’t believe they’re just gone with one click. dispo is not what it used to be and it never will be again.

Amazing, again. I wrote another review just like this one before I found out another lovely thing about this app. My camera has been broken for over 8 months which has caused a major disruption to the 1x lens and that prohibits me from zooming in on things, it also makes a crackling noise, and adds a glitching line whenever I take a picture. I clicked the 0.5 option on the camera and I was still able to zoom in on that setting as much as I want without it going to my 1x lens but still having the same zoom. This app is amazing!

Honestly Devastated. I’ve been using this app for the past year and I loved using dispo for all my concert photos for social media posts. However, yesterday, almost all of my photos from the past month have been deleted and I am quite upset as I had many photos that I intended to use. I usually backup my photos to google drive because occasionally a photo or two will disappear the day after I had taken a photo on dispo, however I probably had over 200 photos deleted on me. I am likely going to stop using the app and just start editing my photos myself. I am very sentimental with my photos so I am mostly just sad about my lost photos.

great app- annoying bug. Me and my friends love using dispo when we go out on the weekends and checking our shared roll in the morning. The only annoying part is that when I go to look at the photos the following day, from the grid view I can see all of our photos but when I click on them the app zooms in on the photo and I cannot zoom out, this only happens for like 60% of the photos. This is really annoying especially when I just want to swipe through for good ones and I cannot because I cannot see the full pictures due to the zoom. Please fix this, I love dispo but the automatic zoom makes me not want to use it!!

No longer using or recommending. It’s really unfortunate how drastic the new updates are. I have had this app for a couple years and recommended it to all my friends- honestly it was one of the best concepts for a photo app I have ever seen. Now, I have lost all of the previously “free” features that I had access to when I got the app and am being asked to pay money for those same features. Not to mention the fact that there is now an ad every 3-7 seconds while I’m trying to look through the pictures I took (after 9 am bc I can no longer get them instantly). The app has become unusable to me, I guess I will be going back to HUJI, and I will no longer recommend it to my friends. This is actually sad bc dispo was such an amazing app but it had gone extremely downhill. Seems like I’m not the only one who feels this way either :/

Used to love this app. When this app was originally launched I really enjoyed it and used it often. I liked being able to immediately see it or choose to wait. It was easy to use and I liked that a lot. In the last year or so it’s become quite frustrating to use and I barely use it anymore. Ads pop up every few seconds. You can’t see the pictures immediately now, and when it gives the option to “watch an add and skip the wait” it doesn’t work. I think it’s only frustrating because I’ve seen this app be great before, so watching it become harder to use and more annoying to use, makes me not as interested. I’d love to see some updates on the app in the future

mixed feelings. I love this app so much. I absolutely love it and it’s amazing, i love the way the photos turn out. I’ve been using for while now and i guess there is a new update now. There is an ad that’s oops if every 20 seconds which is getting really annoying. It’s not worth it to buy a subscription. I wished the ads were less often rather than and ad popping up every 20 seconds or so.

Annoyed…. I LOVED this app. The pictures were so fun and I liked being able to “develop” my pictures right away. But now, I have to pay to have my pictures instantly, or wait until the next day. Additionally, the ads are getting out of control. I took four pictures of my beach trip and 1) I had to wait until the next day to see the photos — like 15 hours 2) Had to watch ads in order to view my pictures! The appeal to this app was that it was different and convenient from all of the other dispo apps, but now it’s just like every other one.

I’ve never been this upset with an app before. I’ve been using dispo for well over a year now. There’s been the issue, like all other reviews mention, about the app crashing. I just kept dealing with it because I love the concept of dispo - take a snapshot, wait a day, get developed photos back with a vintage feel to it. Really easy. And I did this to document my life so it was used regularly. Well recently I went on a trip to Vietnam, a really important trip as it was my first time back to the motherland. I took so many photos during the trip and they all held really precious memories for me. However, after coming back, I tried accessing my photos - only for the app to crash and only show me the bit of the photos from my trip. I was reading online that a lot of people were deleting the app and reinstalling it, only for their photos to be deleted. I wanted to avoid this at all cost and saw that there was the option to log out and log back on. Well, doing this still deleted my photos and I lost about 99% of my photos from my trip. I’m so mad and so angry. I lost so many precious photos because of this poorly developed app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. It’s been a full year the app crashing, there being updates, and app still crashing. You’re better off downloading a different app or getting an actual disposable.

Disappointed. I’ve had this app since it came out and loved it until this past year. I dont mind that there is a premium feature its the fact that there are all these changes being made and not one of them is good. I had a cute profile with awesome collections of pictures from the past fews years of my life. My pictures are still in my library but now i dont have a profile anymore. I dont have those albums i made with my pictures anymore. Like where did it go??? Also getting very frustrated that every time i open the app it just crashes. Also also my pictures from 2021 got cropped to squares for no reason and now look stupid so thanks. Dumbest update/change ever. Ive been the biggest dispo defender to my friends and honestly switching to lapse doesnt sound so bad now.

dear dispo, please don’t do this to me. hey guy. i love this app SO much i’ve put so many people on and (i mean this in the most respectful way) the new subscription plan is insane. $20 for a year?????? i’ve literally used this app for such a long time i love it but making everyone pay for the best parts of the app is so sad. i still love this app so much and will continue to use it but best believe it will be begrudgingly. (i will pay the plan bc i love this app and my best memories are on it but this makes me sad.) plus u guys commented on one of my insta posts i thought we friends

Going Downhill. I will say I used to love dispo and I would take so many pictures on it and they would turn out authentically however recently with updates there have been just more and more glitches like some of the photos won’t let me download them and when I try to download them in groups only a quarter of them download and I thought it was just a my phone problem but some of my other friends are having similar problems. So with that being said Dispo has gone downhill I even think it has become more disconnected and difficult to find other people and their rolls to share photos as well with recent updates.

love it but a little buggy. I love the concept of the app and not being able to see pics until the next morning. I usually take a lot more photos because i’m unsure how they will turn out but I like to have options. My friends always enjoy getting to see the outcome the next day and it just makes it 10x more fun to relive the memories. However, i’ve been having an issue with some of the pics not loading. A good half of the pics wouldn’t load all day, and now I am on the second day and still a few of them will not show. I feel like this is a new issue. Definitely would appreciate looking into this. Rolls are confusing. Takes cool pictures, I’m glad it doesnt just put a generic “film” filter over the photos. The difference is very subtle and i like that a lot. The only problem I have is with the rolls. They’re very confusing because when I try to find a roll, they dont load in the menu. Its just blank. But i can choose which roll i want to shoot to in the camera part. But if you close the app, it deselects your roll ans just shoots to you normal library, which is really annoying. But the biggest thing is, what are rolls for? Is it an album for your pictures? Why? I can see all of my pictures in the photo section, and i can save the ones i like to my library, so why do we have rolls? It just seems like a feature they could do without until they figure out a unique way to use it. I definitley see potential in it, but right now its pretty useless. Other than the rolls the app is really cool.

Unhelpful Support Team & Crashing. I LOVEEEE this app, but it has been crashing like crazy lately (has not opened for DAYS) and since this is where I have most of my recent pictures, that makes me super nervous. I’m glad to know that the creators of the app are aware. Also, I reached out to the support team to try to retrieve a picture that had mistakenly been deleted while the app was glitching, and like one review has said, the team was completely unhelpful and unapologetic. I would really like for that to be resolved, because even after the crashing is fixed, that’s a huge issue to me that would still dock my review.

App keeps crashing. I love this app and have been using it for years. Love the way the pictures look and love the simplicity of using this app. However, for the past 2 weeks every time I try to look in my camera roll, the app freezes for about 3 seconds and then crashes and kicks me out of the app. When I try to take photos, the whole process is super delayed and barely works. I would like to see my new photos and have access to all of my older photos as well. I don’t want to delete the app and redownload since I don’t want to risk losing my new or old photos. Too bad that this is happening and I’m thinking I’ll need to resort to another app or camera.

Used to love it, now it’s ruined. I started using the dispo app back in 2019 and would use it all the time. I loved putting different events or months into their own little rolls and looking back on them. Now I open this app maybe once every few months. It got better when they added the option to see your pictures immediately instead of waiting til 9am. But now you have to pay for that option, the app is constantly breaking, I try to delete pictures and they don’t delete til I restart the app, and I can’t even save pictures to my rolls or make any new rolls at all. Oh and of course it gets worse with not being able to do anything because an ad pops up like every 30 seconds. If I actually felt like moving all the pictures to my camera roll, I would definitely delete this app. It’s the only reason I haven’t yet.

App gone to trash. I’ve been using dispo for a couple of years and I love the concept of it. Each update was great - being able to change the ‘development’ time of the photo, use different cameras. But now, you can’t go 3 photos without seeing a pop up add, you can’t change the time of the photo or use different cameras without paying $60 a year or $10 a month which is incredibly steep for a single novelty app. These new updates are seriously upsetting and an obvious greedy money grab at an unreasonable price point. I will be looking for alternatives because the new nickel and dime-ing is just insane and makes me sad to see an app I loved become unusable.

My photos deleted.. I was such an avid Dispo user but never again. I got the notification that my Joji pictures were ready so of course I opened the app. When I opened the app, my photos were taking a bit to load but that’s usually the case for a mass amount of photos. And then, they loaded! Beauitful photos! I didn’t save any to my camera roll hoping that I’d be able to view it later on but when I opened the app a few hours later, my Joji photos.. GONE. I’ve never been so devastated, these photos were gorgeous. My other photos from previous months were still there but these photos, no where to be found. Especially at an event like Joji’s, I wanted to cry. I am so so sad.

Good app, small bug. I have been using Dispo for years now as my primary camera app. I love the UI, the interface, the look and feel. I’m a huge fan of this app but I do want to bring to the developers attention one small bug I've noticed. The pictures I take don’t show up in my roll until the day after I take them, which is super annoying! If me and the homies take a picture and want to make sure that no ones eyes are closed, we’re not able to. If I want to copy something down I just took a picture of to write for my homework, I have to wait for the next morning. That’s the reason I’m failing history rn. So overall, the app works great and looks amazing but it’d be much better if I could actually see the pictures I took right away

Good app, Hate the Update. I got this app because I love the way it takes pictures and you can easily share them with friends but the main reason my friends and I all downloaded this app was because the photos don’t show up until the next day, that was the whole pint of getting the app and now with recent updates that was taken away. If you don’t like it either make it a setting where it can be true to its original form or for everyone complaining their are other apps that have the same function as dispo but they develop immediately, but the point of getting this app originally was the be in the moment and not care about the pictures until tomorrow, so you took away the whole reason for this app to be used in the first place.

Used to be so good. This app used to be so good. I thought the vintage pics that came from this app were the best looking out of every “disposable” camera app, and the UI was one of the easiest so I could hand my phone to anyone and they could use the app. For these reasons, Dispo became my go to. When they came out with Dispo Max, I could deal with it because they still let you develop photos at 9am instead of instantly, and I didn’t really care about the other lenses or prints. Now everything is locked behind a paywall and you have to watch an ad for every photo you want to develop or pay $60 for a yearly subscription. I’m so disappointed in this app and this company. I know you have to make your money, but making it so this app is borderline unusable to people who aren’t willing to pay $60 A YEAR is a scam of the highest order. At least make it so you have to watch one add to develop your photos from the previous day or something but if I go out with my friends and take a lot of pictures, I am not watching a ton of ads to develop every single picture. I hope this company realizes the error of their ways and makes the app more friendly to people who aren’t willing to pay, because I certainly am not and if nothing changes, I am not coming back.

Love this app but photos will not load. I love to use this app for all of my vacation photos! I love how they come out and the way they can mimic real disposable photos. Not to mention the aspect that the pictures do not show up until the next morning, it give something so fun to look forward too. I ALWAYS recommend this app to all of my friends. Lately I have not been able to view any of my new or old pictures in the app:-(! I will get the notification that my photos are ready and then nothing will show up just a white screen when I click my album. Please fix this bug :-)

Great app overall. there is j a couple things i would change if i could first the app isnt as user friendly as some other apps its a but difficult to see who ur friends are and also it glitches out some times i look on the app at 9 am and it says the pictures are not ready and the i have to wait till the next day also the different rolls are a little confusing like when i first got the app i didnt know what they ment and it would be great if when you first got the app there could be a demo i also dont really get how the friends thing work but i do love that all the pics are dated and out of all the disposable camera apps i use this one is my favorite i love the way the photos turn out

She has a certain “je ne sais quoi”. I really enjoy using this app! I love the idea that your picture takes 24 hours to develop, so you can take your picture, and be done. My one hope for the future of the app is a feature that makes it easier to connect with your friends/contacts who are already on the app. It’s nearly impossible to find anyone you know, and your left following strangers. Which is cool......but they’re strangers lol.

Bugs Galore. I use this app so much (as I travel a lot) I have an iPhone 13 Pro I’m updated to the most recent iOS and most recent Dispo update. But dang there are so many bugs. I don’t know if it’s an update or what but. First, pictures load slow in the app. Second, if you have the flash enabled and try to take a front facing video the flash on the back will turn on and the video will glitch and save as 0.00. Third, almost always the export features will not work and say try again and sometimes nothing will happen literally at all. 4th when you add photos to a disposables album the dates are all out of order. I don’t know what it is but please try and fix these issues in the next update!

Dispo - An Excellent App. The new update the Dispo crew have just brought to the app is amazing. pretty good. yea it’s a good app a bit annoying that you have to wait but oh well. I was deleted a photo then it didn’t delete so I deleted it again but then deleted a really good photo from the tennis... can’t get it back now should be a area to find deleted photos

Used to be good. The application itself is pretty good however it is now riddled with ads in the most unnecessary places for example; every three photos in my roll I swipe through a 5 second ad appears every. Single. Time… Also the the roll back of instant photo development for free users is also pretty ridiculous.

keeps crashing. I absolutely love the concept, it’s like a real disposable camera in my pocket at all times, however after the first week the app started to crash consistently, I wouldn’t be able to see my photos or download them which is obviously pretty annoying, also I understand the need for ads but it’s like constantly I am getting ads, almost between every single photo which I personally think is a little crazy,, I’ve started just turning off my data while I use the app which I find resolved that problem but now that it’s started crashing I really just can’t use the app at all.. apart from that I love it, the way the photos come out and even that fact we have to wait for them to be developed, I love it all, I just hope these bugs can be fixed,, thanksss

What’s with the crashing?. I like this app, but the constant crashing makes it more trouble than its worth. It’s very time consuming to go through the photos and save them when the app closes down every 10 seconds. I also can’t scroll through all the photos without the app closing on me. If this bug was fixed, would be the perfect photo app.

Would be great, if it didn’t crash. I enjoyed the app and how the photos turned out. However, the app continuously crashes, making it near on impossible to use. Also if you want to grab any photos, good luck, as in if you have to scroll to any photos further down the thread, it’ll crash. If you can resolve the issue of the app crashing, it would make it a sick app to use. At the moment it just leaves me disappointed :(

really good app BUT. this is a very food app as i said and i wanna be in one of your vlogs or tiktok videos from this review BUT i was wondering why we have to wait for the morning??? and if i took a photo in it at 8:55am would it be ready in 5min or would you have to wait a certain amount of time ?

Stopped working. Recently stopped working and won’t let you take any pictures. The screen is black and you can’t see anything when trying to take a photo.

Love it. This app is great for getting that disposable look without the downside of waste and production of plastic, offering a much more sustainable way of “disposable” photos. I love how there is no limit on how many photos to can take as well. I realised if I had my phone on lock screen it wouldn’t work, if that helps anyone. The only down side is the wait till 9am the next day, I understand it’s to make it feel more authentic, however I would prefer get them instantly, and you can if you change the date and time on phone but it will make you photos in the wrong order (date wise) if you do. But 100% recommended this app

I lost my photos. I had some really lovely photos and when I tried to download them it wouldn’t work. So I deleted the app and logged back in but my new photos where gone. I still have all my old photos. I really want to recover them but I don’t know how

Flip it around. I like this app. It helps me not overthink how I look in photos and just take photos because I want to. But I think if you turned the UI around so that you can use the volume buttons to take the photos, would be a better experience. Also I hope you can offer different cameras in the future so that we can pick and choose what look we want for our photos.

Nice look but not very compatible. With the new update the camera doesn’t seem to be working. Can access all other features including the photos I was able to take before the update but am just not able to take any new ones with the new update? iTunes says it’s compatible with my phone and I have access to camera on in my settings yet no photos. Hopefully a fix is in the making

Keeps crashing. Every time I open the app I get at least 3 ads, and once I try to slowly or quickly scroll to my photo history the app crashes. This has happened at least 30 times, I have turned off my phone and been attempting to save these photos for over a month. Ads may create revenue, but with too many it creates a negative customer experience and leads to crashes. Please review this, I love the apps idea, I just wish I could access my photos.

Great app needs a bug fix. I really like the app the photos I get to see turned out fantastic but I purchased premium and am still receiving ads on top of that I’ve been taking photos and they sometimes just won’t turn up even though the flash went off and I hear the noise when taking it

The app keeps crashing. Love this app and the photo quality is so great! But when I try to scroll to a certain point to see my older photos, it crashes every time. I thought it may have been because I scrolled too fast, but even when I scrolled extremely slowly it stills happens. Please fix this, thank you.

ads must be joking. i counted how many seconds between ads- five. that must be a joke however the app is so good i don’t mind waiting til 9 am to see the photos, i love how many different options of cameras there are to use

Vibes. Love the app it’s a fun little emulator to the real deal But the waiting until the next day doesn’t hit as hard as it would if you were going to get your real prints Love the app I would just recommend changing the upgraded version to take out the wait

The app keeps crashing. Yesterday my friends and I were having fun so I decided to use this app because I’m a fan of David’s so I waiting till 9am the next day to receive my photos as soon as I was going to get my photos the app crashed so I kept trying to get them and now it just keeps giving me ads and crashing as soon as I try to get more pictures up these photos mean the world to me because I have bad memory and I rely on photos to hold the memory’s for me and I’m very disappointed if I lose these photos because I can’t get the app to work I love David and this app but the crashing needs to be fixed ASAP or I won’t be using this app for much longer

Good app but small issues. Love the app and the idea of waiting til 9am to receive the photos. Would be cool if there was a selfie option as well but I also noticed that I took photos that have not shown up the next morning. I am missing multiple photos I know were taken (flash went off, heard the noise) not sure what’s happened 😕

FEEDBACK FOR FUTURE UPDATES! 😁. I began to use this app last year when it first came out and it was great. I have been disappointed lately as one of the updates seems to have changed the filter so the photos don’t turn out so great even using flash. It is now a darker more yellow/brown/sepia toned in contrast to a nicely saturated one before. It would be nice if the filter could be changed again to reflect real disposable film or atleast more accurate to the one david actually uses (as that is how it’s advertised). I also agree with other reviews about the crashing/ ad issues and think a selfie camera would be very valuable. Overall a very handy app and I like the experience!

Bug when purchasing premium. Great app concept and working well other than a bug when purchasing premium. I purchased premium but still kept receiving advertisements aswell as an option to continue purchasing the premium part of the app. Other than that it’s a great app 👍

Yessir. I’ve had this app for a while now and recently it has gone a lil yellow everytime I take a photo. But either than that before it was hellaaa awesome. Maybe after an update it’ll go back to normal and but until then I highly recommend this app

bad update. i really enjoyed this app and used it a lot around january, but i have found they recently updated it and the photo quality is not nearly as good. the effect is brown and darker then usual, especially around the edges. I hope they can change this or the app can go back to what it was before, because i really enjoyed it & thought concept was very cool!

David put me in the vlog. App is perfect when it comes to the look of a disposable camera and as long as you keep your phone still with the flash on, your pictures will come out amazing and aesthetically pleasing.

Good app. i love this app and have relied on it to give me great photos for multiple months. but this new updated filter really doesn’t show nicer photos, if anything it’s made them worse. the tones are out of place and i really don’t like it compared to the old filter, please change it back because i now don’t want to use it because of this update. the old filter was light enough and was much prettier

AMAZING !!. I absolutely love this app it’s so great and easy to use and it actually feels like a real film camera but on your phone instead. I love how you get unlimited photos to take and I like how you have to wait a day to get them developed just like a real film camera would. I’ve been looking for a actual good film app and this is the one I would recommend.

Love! Please change the filter?!. I love this idea. It’s fun and easy and gives a great effect. The only not so loveable thing is the filter. I’d love to be able to see my photos in that effect you have your pictures in on your davidsdisposables account. The orange and brown tones on my pictures don’t make it look as good as it could.

Glitch. I think this is a really great app. It comes out with great results, however; after I scroll through my developed photos after a little bit it closes the app. It keeps doing this. Can you fix it ?

Hate the changes. Used this app daily to capture memories and loved that photos could be taken and uploaded straight to a shared roll. Now that there is ads and no longer the option for instant development unless paying a subscription I will no longer be using this app.

Photos suddenly stopped developing. I have been OBSESSED with this all since a got it, but recently it just suddenly stopped working. I take photos and it says they’re developing, and I look a few hours later and they’ve disappeared and never developed. Very bummed out as this app was so good I stopped using my 35mm film camera!

Good app. I like the filter and the set up of the app it makes you fell like it’s an actual disposable camera. However the only downside is the waiting for the pictures to ‘develop’ overnight and so you can’t view the pictures instantly. I understand where that concept comes from but it’s quite inconvenient. I highly suggest to developers that you change this so we can the pictures on the stop

Luv. I think this is such a cool way to have photos, the photos come out so clear and are amazing! I think it’s pretty cool how you have to wait till the next morning (if after 9am) that you see your photos because it’s representing what it’s like to have a real disposable camera! Ps. A little tip for this who don’t want to wait, you can change your phone time to after 9am and then you will be able to view your photos ;)

Great app but quite a few bugs. I absolutely love this app and the look of the photos once they develop. It’s my favourite camera to take photos with now. However, I’ve used it for about two months and now every time I try to scroll through my past photos that I’ve taken, the app keeps crashing and I can’t view them. I try going slowly through the photos and it makes no different. Quite annoying.

Low Quality, Not User Friendly. The new update just doesn’t make any sense - why change something that was already working perfectly fine? It’s slow, dull and is very confusing to use - there need to be more prompts to teach users about the new features, otherwise it’s just pointless. There are far better disposable apps out there - will 200% be deleting this one from my phone, that’s for sure.

I payed to remove ads but still get ads?. so i downloaded this app and really enjoyed it, i thought you know why not remove the ads. so i payed and the payment went through to my bank, so i closed down the app and reopened it and was still getting ads. i still get them today which i’m not happy about. if someone can help me that would be legendary

It’s a scam. Does not develop pictures at all, the watch an ad feature doesn’t do anything to get the pictures faster, even without skipping the ad and waiting till the end. So so disappointed. Please find other alternatives

Cant see all of my photos. I added a bunch of photos to a roll, but i can only open a few of them before it stops scrolling, and when i tap on the photo i want, it doesnt open, and opens the first photo posted instead.

THIS APP IS A VIRUS DO NOT OPEN. Used to be so good but now it is just a virus for your phone. It started saving 6000 photos to my library without my permission ten times over and it won’t stop trying to save them to my library, unless I pay for the subscription . Hate capitalism. This used to be my favourite camera app. Until one day I updated and suddenly all the previously free features were locked away behind an unnecessary subscription model. Where are all my photos???. I’ve been using Dispo for years now and for some reason I can’t see any of my photos after sep 2022….what happened to all my photos :((( even all the photos in my rolls are gone. Has Potential But Very Poorly Designed. Way to overly complicated & sooo many little sub menu’s. So hard to delete photos & once you do delete photo’s they aren’t really deleted & still show up. Very buggy & awkward to navigate.

This app was perfect a year ago, now it’s terrible.. Why break a great app? Constant black screens for pictures, countless hitched when trying to open rolls, pictures never load properly, the library of pictures is always glitching all over the place, etc. This app was great a year ago. Changed. This app used to be my go to for a fresh vintage feel, making the colouring so nice and skin tones bright. I love the surprise I get the next morning when the photos develop. Recently the app has changed and it is has dark vignette corners and not as clear and crisp. I wish it would go back to the version I had in 2020, really miss the real disposable look. Forget about all the new effects. Thinking about deleting it if it doesn’t change.

definitely good but. i find half the photos i take i cant even open and can only preview it from the gallery of all my images, and when trying to save the photo it just sends me to writing a new message with no contact selected and no photo attached no matter what button i press

Super Buggy + Ad Ridden. Used to love this app but now when I open it it keeps trying to save all my historic dispos to my camera roll repeatedly. It saved 1800 new photos in a matter of seconds taking up all the free space on my phone. It also has way too many ads and they pay walled a lot of the features like disabling auto save to camera roll. Sad but had to delete it.

Photos gone. I’ve had this app since it came out and recently all my old photos have disappeared from my library. My account says I have 71 photos but I only have access to 20. Is there any way to get those photos back?

Problems with app. This app I love with all my heart but when I try to scroll down to see all my old photos it will Jsut crash and I can’t see my old photos, is there a way to fix this ? Can’t even open the app. I usually love the app but the bugs are bad right now, and the developers said they fix them but they did not. I tap on the app and it brings me to the intro screen then it disappears and I’m back staring at my Home Screen

Way too many ads. The ad was awesome when it first came out. Now there’s so many ads that it becomes frustrating to look at them. The filter has also changed quite a bit. It’s not as clear & it’s way worse of an image than a real disposable camera.

Changed :(. I loved this app when it came out and it’s still my go to but it’s changed and it’s noticeable. Colours have changed a bit and now uses ip more battery. The ads are way too much, like stop showing shein ads when I’m simply looking at photos. Every two photos? Makes me close the app.

SCAM. when i fist purchased this app it was an amazing photo app with a bunch of different filters to choose from, im not sure if they had updated the app or what not but when i bought it there was no such thing as a subscription. This is all about a year ago, this app was one of those apps that fall to the bottom or your phone and your forget about. I seriously don’t remember the last time i used it before that. this month they randomly changed me for the YEAR MEMBERSHIP, that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE and mind you this app is in app purchase. 85 DOLLARS LATER ON AN APP I NEVER USED. i was unable to recive this money back due to it was charged through my apple pay and technically speaking they didn’t do anything wrong. they are smart and know how to take your money, and you will be unable such thing about it.

Got greedy. The app now charges you to do everything! $79 is way to expensive to charge for things I could use for free pre update. Ridiculous no picture is worth that amount of money, and this is coming from someone who uses this app daily. Time to find an alternative

Coolest Concept. The way photos need to be “developed” and aren’t available until the next day is so cool. My main issues: 1) The quality of the pictures could be better. 2) The layout could be simpler, with more focus being put on the photos instead of the social/sharing aspect. 3) When selecting photos, it takes many tries to select more than one. Overall, a really cool new app that just requires fine-tuning.

Photos won’t load. I’ve had this problem multiple times now where a bunch of photos won’t load in my library (they’re just blurry/ black) and so I can’t save or view the photos I took. Very frustrating

love it. the app is great, i initially thought it was horrible because i took one picture on a cloudy day and it looked like a picture for a horror film. However, if you just turn on ur flash they turn out a lot better, i love the pictures it takes and i have never had any problems with the app!

Great but. Way too many ads. First one popped up within 30 seconds. Next one came about 10 seconds later. It feels like there’s barely any time between them.

Terrible Photo App. If you are interested in taking photos in a new and interesting way this app is not for you. Dispo used to be a fantastic app with an new photo experience. However, now it is filled with ads and an extremely buggy user interface that will hinder capturing an important moment. If you pay for a subscription it will get rid of the ads but the app is still clunky and buggy. Many times my photos would just disappear with no trace and I was unable to recover them. Dispo is one of the worst camera apps I have ever used.

Good app! But crashes!. I love this app and it is so much fun to use with my friends. But I have issues scorplling back to see my memories. It crashes almost every single time I try and look at memories that are older than a few weeks old. It makes me sad cuz I want to look at some of my old pics! I do still love this app so much and love the way the pictures turn out! I just wish it didn’t crash!

The idea behind this after having so many other social platforms for photos just doesn’t add up. To make this feel authentic, maybe limit to 27 photos a day..or you can’t “develop” them until you reach 27 photos and then you’ll get them the day after you reach 27. But let’s be real, no one is going to take one photo if they can’t see it. Not in today’s “give it to me now! I want perfection” world.

Ads every 5 seconds used to be great. I loved Dispo and it used to be a great app to snap cool moments. I usually try to take one a day and little do I know I get on yesterday and they’ve stripped away several of my favorite lenses and you constantly get bombared with ads every 5 seconds unless you pay for MAX! Like what happened?? I’ve been using dispo for over a year and now I don’t get any of the features I had full access to for the past year?! So unfortunate that another great app just gets ruined by ads.

Great app, runs slow and has issues. I love the app and how it makes me photos look but sometimes I will load the app up and then my phone screen will go black and shut me out of the app. Other times it just takes forever for anything to work. I think once the bugs get fixed it’ll be a great app. It’s just hard to live in the moment, as they say, with the app not working properly

won’t open :/. Was absolutely OBSESSED with this app when I first got it, I love the pictures and the interface and the development time, everything. However the last few times that I’ve attempted to go into the app it won’t even open. I have deleted and redownloaded multiple times to no avail and am super bummed because not only can I not access old pictures, I can’t take new ones. Definitely a great app and concept but I wish that the bugs were actually fixed so I could use it :/

Ruined with updates. I got the app when it first came out, it was great actually awesome! Simple no features just a camera that delayed your pictures and put a nice filter on them, easy to save your pics to your phone. Now it’s ads every 5 seconds, pop up upgrade screens, extra step downloads of pics and all regular camera features. It’s ruined the atmosphere of a disposable camera. Will probably be looking for a new app just because of how unusable the interface is. Super huge bummer, should have never updated the app

Please give us back the simple version.. I got the app when it was really simple and was solely the camera and the gallery section. I hate the new update that makes it look like some sort of social media app because it makes things really complicated and just annoying. On the other hand, the pictures are dope and you have to wait for them to process just like if it were a real disposable camera.

old camera was better!. hey dispo! i love your cameras, particularly the vibe cam and the regular one. I use them almost every day! I took a lot of pictures this summer with the regular one, but ever since the late fall it’s changed a little and has a warmer, stronger filter and fade that I personally don’t like. I think you should change it back so I can go back to loving the regular camera as much as the vibe cam PLEASE

So long Dispo: Fallen Soldier to Capitalism. I have been using Dispo for a while now and seen Dispo through all the bug fixes and updates. Now Dispo has fallen to capitalism and decided to take away all the best features which makes you PAY $10/month, $40/year to use. Now you have to wait until 9a the next day to develop your photos and the only cameras available to you is ones that have a bad filter on them. Dispo isn’t what it used to be and I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed in this “new update” Looking for other disposable camera apps now.

apps crashing. i’m in love with this app, it’s incredible, but it crashes every time I try to access my photos. I’ve been patiently waiting for this to be fixed but it hasn’t and I really want all the photos I took. Please fix this soon so I can continue to recommend it to everyone

Dispo crashing won’t let me open. I love dispo app. Me and my friends take all out photos on here. However I’ve been trying to open the app for the last two days and it keeps crashing. I rlly don’t what to do I tried deleting stuff on my phone to make space and restarting my phone but nothing works. I am afraid that delteing the app will delete some photos that still look blurry. Please help I don’t know what to do and want these photos as soon as possible: Other than that the app is so dope

the best picture-taking app you will ever download.. i have NEVER written a review on the app store before, but this app is genuinely so so good omg i just had to. i downloaded dispo yesterday for my 18th bday and the pics all came out SO WELL!! i guess the only weird thing was that i was able to see the images immediately but my friend had to wait until 9am to see them but that isn’t important loll. GET THIS APP RN!!!!

Great Pics, bad interface. The pictures are undoubtably awesome, but unfortunately, the process to actually save them to your camera roll is soooo tedious, and, in my case, actually impossibly, mostly because the app is so laggy and slow. I’ve restarted the app, used good wifi, and troubleshooted all I can, but no matter what, I continue to have immense troubles with actually loading the photos me and my friends have taken. It’s glitchy, slow, and seems underdeveloped.

New adds are to excessive. I don’t normally leave reviews but the new updates to the app are getting out of hand. Me and all my friends have loved using the app for a few years. With new years there’s always new updates. Currently the app gets taken over by ads every 5 seconds like a virus. It’s terrible. I get how creators will add ads for extra income but you can barley use the app without get interrupted every 5 seconds. It’s extremely upsetting considering I love the app but this is making me look the other way.

Wonderful for making Memories!. I have used this app to take pictures of my friends and i out during my years in college. It is the best to view the pictures in the morning and see the faces on your friends when you share them. This app bring good vibes and makes lots of smiles!!

No more fun. Whoever integrated ads needs to be fired. Cant open up the app without an ad sometimes. Look into my camera roll, ads ! Swipe through a picture or two ANOTHER AD. Lost the option of getting pictures immediately, now you gotta pay for it as a subscription based plan. This app was amazing and even better when you could toggle between instant and/or next day “developing” but now its turned money hungry and personally really discouraged me from using it. Shame because I would constantly recommend this app with friends to use as a go to.

i love dispo but dayyuunmm. i used dispo all edc weekend. well maybe not ALL weekend bc it started crashing on friday soo .. anyway, all of my fun photos & memories from edc are now locked away on this app , unattainable. y’all don’t “supposedly have a bug” there IS A BUG & it is causing a lot of problems for everyone who wanted to enjoy this app. I REALLY WANT THESE PHOTOS! & i think i’ve cried enough in the last day to say i am very frustrated with how things AREN’T being handled even though plenty of people have said this multiple times. PLEASE DISPO.. fix this issue so i can have these memories back.

Great idea with terrible execution. This app is an amazing idea. On Dispo bye are the days of facetune, over editing pictures, and checking pictures the second you take them to find the perfect one. The operation of the app is terrible though. Why don’t my friends reels automatically pop up on my feed? I have to first follow someone, then check in on their profile periodically to see if they’ve posted a new reel. Following reels for friends should be automatic, with the option to unfollow. Fix this and the app will be gold, and I’ll update/or remove this review.

Used to be my favorite app. I understand needing to make money so I’m fine with the ads and even them adding and then retracting the same filters behind a paywall I can deal with. But having to pay 10 dollars a month or 60 a year just so you don’t have a weird time stamp in the corner?? Like I’m not going to want/take the pictures if it has the time stamp ruining them. I used to love this app so much but cmon that’s a little ridiculous as a paid feature. I’m sad to delete Dispo because I have almost 600 pictures but it’s been rendered unusable :(

Not so good.. Almost everything is copied off of tik tok or instagram. The comments are so small and not arranged (the most liked one should be on top). The quality is so bad, when i first downloaded it, the intro was so good i expected so much better. Not a tik tok knock off. All the photos are bad quality, EXCEPT DAVIDS, and of course all his employees. So it’s honestly not a good idea, it shouldn't be a social media, except just a camera with GOOD QUALITY. It’s obvious that you wanted to mix two most used apps into one with the idea you had. Didn’t turn out so great. Sorry for the criticism but do better.

Useless app. I get the whole “live in the moment” movement but this app is useless. I can take a picture and live in the moment with any camera app without having to wait for 22 hrs to develop my digital photo. The fake disposable camera bloats the screen so it’s extremely difficult to determine the quality of image you’re taking. Show me a full screen preview before I take the photo. This app basically eliminates all the value modern cameras have added and brings back all the flaws of old disposable cameras. Makes no sense…🤷‍♂️🧐

All photos gone after update. Updated my app when I saw an update was available. Went into the app today and every photo I’ve ever taken is gone. No warning from the company or app that this would happen, or that you would need to back up/ download before updating. I’ve reached out to support and am praying this is a bug. But if it’s not and years of photos are just gone, it’ll be heartbreaking and incredibly frustrating Hopefully someone in the same position I was will see this before they update and lose all their photos

Stop updating it!. I used to be the biggest fan of Dispo using it literally all the time and making everyone download but now that they keep updating it I wanna delete it. It used to be so simple one camera, upload to a roll, people can see it. Now I have 15 different cameras that I don’t need, I don’t want to see my camera roll in my library, an add pops up every 3 pictures, and half the time it won’t even snap a shot. I’m so disappointed in the app I used to once love.

I love this app. I’m really thankful that this app exists. For a long time i was searching good apps to take a cool photo with an old effect and i couldn’t find it. Then i saw this app and downloaded it. It’s incredible! You can take such a cool, beautiful photos, like you can do it with disposable camera. Quality is so good, you should try it if you’re wondering to download it or not.

Made it worse. Had this app since last year and was working great around December it started getting super buggy and then they added Ads and now it’s unusable I can look through photos taken without a pop up every 10 seconds and it still laggy I deleted it the app after having so much fun using it for a while way to completely ruin a great app

Missing .5 Lens. I love this app I think its is great. However I recently just started using it again and I noticed it had added a .5 lens. Which I thought was amazing and I was so happy about. But a few days ago I opened the app again only to see that it was gone and no longer had that feature. I am very confused as to why this happened would love to know.

Crashes to the point of being unusable. Extremely often, I'll take a bunch of dispo photos and when i try to check them the next day, the app won't stay open long enough for me to even click on my individual photos. It crashes and lags and glitches constantly, I can open the app long enough to see my pictures sitting in my roll from 4 days ago. This app is absolutely amazing when it works, and i really wish i was actually able to use it.

Photo timer?. I love this app so much I use it for almost all of my pictures. The quality of them is fantastic and I enjoy the simplicity of it and I don’t want to take away from that but the option of a photo timer without taking away from the function of the rest of the app would be amazing! :)

photos blurred and cannot download.. if i could rate it 0, i would. lost ALL of my photos from my trip because i solely used this app. the pictures were loading fine as i took them and then just went blurred out of nowhere. i lost all of my memories even though they developed then went blurry. they say there's nothing they can do about it but SURELY they can do something because they are stored elsewhere, right??? i am completely distraught and upset that i will never have my photos from this trip. i have never been so upset.

Remarkable!. I actually downloaded this app when it came out, so I’ve had it for all three years of my high school career lol. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It gives the perfect filter and it feels really cool. It lets you take pictures and makes you wait till the morning so you can enjoy the moment 10/10 I’ve never felt such love for an app

Wish it was easier to find friends. I love love live this app and how it subtly adds a film effect over your photos and everything is amazing. The only recommendation i would have for the developers is that it would be easier to sync your contacts and see who you know has the app. Again, other than that, amazing.

Yeah I have beef. I have been using Dispo for 2 years now and it has been my favorite photo app. You had so many filter/camera to choose from, i loved the rolls but recently they updated it where if you don’t pay, you only get like 4 filter choices. You can’t look at more than 3 photos in your album without an ad popping up. It’s infuriating. The lack of filters I would’ve been okay with (bummed but ok) but not being able to look at more than 3 photos without an ad??? Infuriating and not worth my time. I’ll switch back to Tezza

Gamechanging way to save moments without missing out on them IRL. People in old school party photos always look so much more carefree than us today bc none of them were worried about looking to see which shot made them look bad or good. They just lived life. This app lets you get back to that. Game CHANGER

Too many ads. 3 stars bc it’s a good app and the pictures come out great and everything. but oh my god there are ads LITERALLY every 5 seconds. it is so annoying and frustrating and i’ve never seen another app with this many ads. it makes me not want to use the app because i cant look through my pictures without a random video popping up. i am begging you please put less ads🙏🙏🙏and i am NOT buying dispo max.

Love this app. I love Dispo. The interface is so cute and easy to use, and it truly executes the philosophy of living in the moment. The filter it gives photos is so much more flattering and subtle than Huji or other disposable cam apps. I love using rolls to designate albums for trips, months, or years. Dispo is truly my favorite camera app to use, helping me enjoy little photo shoots and memories throughout life!

No photos, no support. I can’t access my photos I just took last night. There was no notification that they were getting ready to be opened in the morning. I opened my app the day after I took the pictures and there isn’t even photos blurred out “in development”. I just don’t have the pictures anywhere. When I tried to access app support through the App Store on the Dispo page (this one), it just leads me right back to the app. I may never use this app again if I’m just taking pictures to never be seen.

Good app just lately it’s been freezing??. I LOVE this app so much, I’ve been using it for almost 5 years now and even have on Instagram for it (@disposbykej if you wanna follow lol) but lately the camera has been just freezing and I can’t change the filter or even take a picture… UPDATE: it stopped freezing and crashing! I do wish they’d come out with more cams/filters though, like a digital camera filter would be cool

Love this app but disappointed. I’ve used this app for years and i love the filters so much. That being said, I don’t quite understand the coders who are managing this app because it is so slow, it regularly lags and crashes, and a new development as of yesterday - every time i try and click the gallery it crashes. Not sure when I’ll be able to see my photos! It is unusable. This is frustrating because it’s completely fixable.

The app is ruined. DO NOT GET IT. I used this app since it came out and it was so amazing and I loved it. BUT NOW they made the worst possible updates and I can’t use the app anymore bc of how frustrating it is just to use it. They deleted the option of putting into an album and to use a shared album. They have ads pop up practically every 3 seconds that makes it so annoying. I’m so sad bc it used to be one of my favorite apps to enjoy w fam and friends. So disappointed, won’t be using it anymore. Don’t waste ur time using this app

Saving Pictures and Other Bugs :(. I loved DISPO until all of the new updates came. Now I can barley download photos and the app glitches whenever I try to select multiple pictures and save them. When I click on some photos it opens up a different photo than the one that should’ve been selected. Also when saving photos many pictures give me the try again error and are unable to be saved. Really disappointed as this used to be my favorite app before all of the bugs :(

New update ruined the app.. I have been using Dispo for over a year, and I adore this app. I just got on for the first time in a while today and got an ad? It was okay the first time of course an ad once every 15 mins or something I wouldn’t care.. but it is NO JOKE every 15 SECONDS. That is not an exaggeration, and it makes the app almost unusable because just when you try and click something, there’s an ad. I’m very disappointed bc it was an amazing app for so long, it would be great if this ad thing could be reversed.

Annoying date stamps. I was enjoying the app. However it recently seems to have been adding date and time stamps in the corner of all of my photos and I don't see any option to turn that off. I prefer my photos without those. It would be nice to have the ability to turn them off.

Needs some fixing but still awesome. Love, love using this app. I appreciate that it has a timer method for when you can see the photos as other disposable apps don’t have this. My main issue is that when I am scrolling through all of my old photos I have taken with it, it becomes super glitchy and will kick me out of the app and onto the home screen. Please fix this!!

Used to be better. This app anytime I got a new phone it deleted all the pictures I had taken, which I had dealt with and thought it may have been may fault. However there are other reviews saying they had the same issue. I didn’t really care about that because this app was a cool concept and it was fun to take the photo and then have to wait for the next day to be able to see it, but then they got rid of that feature and now this is just an app with filters that just takes up space on my phone.

Incredible App. This app is so fun, and way better than IG. My friends and I love how the photos come out the next morning - really let's us live in the moment instead of editing photos all day. Incredible user interface / so intuitive, and fun to use. Highly recommend this app as the future of social media use

Instant Photos. I remember how the app used to make you wait until 9am the next morning to view your photos, but then you guys gave us a choice of either waiting or getting it instantly. I liked getting them instantly and had become pretty accustomed to that decision. Is there any way we can get the ability to choose again instead of having to just wait until 9am?

Terrible experience, support has been no help. Recently got this app because my friend would always take great photos with it, decided to download it and bought the subscription to get the photos developed right away and to be able to get printables, worked great for a few days then the subscription stopped working even tho I paid for the yearly. I reached out and I was assured that it would be fixed, which it was for about 2 days and is now doing the same thing. Feel like I’ve been scammed out of my money and I’d like a refund.

Love the app, just wish it worked 😩. I’ve been using this app since it’s inception and the bugs still haven’t been fixed after all these years. I still love the app and use it, but it’s infuriating when when you have a great night and take a million pictures and can’t access them without the app freezing and Xing out. I always eventually get to see the pictures after a week or more. If there is a way to trouble shoot it PLEASE let me know.

I want to love this app! Someone buy it and make it better?. I love this app WHEN IT WORKS! Which is increasingly rare. I spend more time in this app trying to make it work actually getting to benefit from the awesome photos it takes. The three biggest issues I encounter are: 1) The Dispo photos I’ve taken rarely load. I will open the app maybe 5-10x a day for a few days in a row to see that i have no photos, and then randomly I’ll have access and will quickly download anything I want to see again from Dispo. 2) The camera freezes every time I use it, after I’ve taken about 5 or so photos. I then have to restart the app and often lose photos I’ve taken In the process (eg they’ll never be seen again) 3) Inconsistent photo saving. I’d say the app retains maybe 80% of photos and videos taken. So if you want to make sure to capture a memory you cannot rely on the app.
