Surprised. My son convinced me to download this app and I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with the filters. Super easy to use and the effects look incredible,this app is amazing. I first thought I would have to pay a subscription or something then I clicked on the app and was amazed I was able to make cute little cartoon pictures for free please take my advice and download the viola app now!

Free Isn’t Free. You can download this app for free. The moment it is launched you are asked to subscribe to various tiers. There is no close button, or “skip”, or “maybe later”. The only way to see any of the app other than a black screen with a single “subscribe button” is to close the entire app and reopen it. You are then promoted to subscribe several more times - then presented with ads before you can use the app. Any feature you try to use on the app (that it actually allows you to select without paying) then blurs any image preview stating you need “VIP Access” - so unless you (you guessed it) subscribe to the app you can’t even see what your results would be. What a scam.

I LOVE this appppppp!!!. So far it’s been really good app, totally worth the money for the lifetime price. Thanks for great app at an awesome price. The free version was okay too but I get anxious and I just love to unlock all the possibilities at once :) I really like this app. There are TONS of filter and edit options (and I don’t have a subscription). Not Worth The Price Tag. I had been advertised this app on another app and wanted to give it a try. This app is not upfront about the paywall for a large majority of its content. To even use the advertised filters, you have to pay $20 MONTHLY. It states you can cancel this at any time and you will not be charged as long as it is before the charge date; however, it is very difficult to cancel subscriptions through apps. All in all, while the features are interesting, I feel that this app is deceitful and not worth a rolling subscription of $20 that is difficult to cancel. This app seems to profit on those who forget about the subscription.

Worst editing app ever. You won’t be able to do much of anything without a subscription of $20/month. And even at that, the editing generator does a horrible job making a cartoon version of your picture; as a matter of fact, it would do a better job editing the background picture than the subject in whatever picture you’re trying to edit. I had to cancel my subscription before the free trial ends, it’s NOT worth $2, let alone $20 a month.

It’s a scam!!!. These have to be fake reviews because everyone is saying how great this app is and that it’s free but it’s a lie. You can’t do anything without subscribing to the app for $89 a year. It had a pop up that asked me to subscribe and before I could take my thumb off the button it charged me $89!!! Really? $89 dollars just to make pictures look like cartoons?? Who would pay that much for this?? Response to the developer: what you are saying is completely false. As soon as I opened your so called free app it wouldn’t allow me to do ANYTHING until I subscribed. There was no price listed for the subscription and it just asked me to put my thumb on my print reader to subscribe. I just happened to notice that as it was scanning my thumb Apple had a message that said I was subscribing for $89 per year which is ridiculous for what you are offering. Your app is clearly set up to trick people into paying for a subscription with the hopes that they don’t notice the price or they don’t take the time to figure out how to dispute it. If not then tell me one feature that you can do before subscribing. I notice how deceitfully you worded your reply as to not say what features you get before or after your subscription. Apple should remove this app from the App Store or make you list it for $89

Sweet and joyful. Love it soo much! It can works smoothly and quickly. And the filters and functions in it are so cool. I don’t usually write reviews , but you guys have impressed me yet again with an awesome app! And for anyone who’s a little skeptical of whether or not you should download , you can animate photos in the free version as advertised on Instagram; which is tons of fun, and when you’re done with your projects it gives the options to save into your camera roll and to also post your project on social media! Totally recommend this app , 10/10 !

Misleading costs. I am updating my review but I will keep the rating of 1 star. It is pretty clear after seeing multiple reviews similar to the issues I have indicated in my review regarding how this particular app is extremely misleading. It shows up as a free app initially but doing the process of downloading the app it doesn’t prompt anything regarding an annual fee until it automatically charges your iTunes account. There is absolutely no way would I have purchased an app for $89. Fortunately, after pursuing a complaint I was reimbursed the $89. However, it is clear that the developer and/or apple is unaware of how acquiring this app is very misleading on the $89 annual fee. Reading multiple reviews from several customers it appears there is a problem and the developer is not acknowledging or accepting that there is a problem based on the response I received as well as the response other customers have received. There is a problem and it needs to be addressed.

Help me feel pretty thank you so much. This is an amazing app and for people to give it low stars because they went for the free trial and forgot about it and was charged is ridiculous. It clearly states cancel before free trial is up if not they will assume you want to continue and will automatically start billing you. It’s not rocket science almost every free trial in the app store are the same like this! It is worth it guys! I wish i could post the pictures i edited on here. You will not regret. I usually dont pay for apps but honestly this is worth it ! I love this app, it’s the best selfie editor I’ve ever experienced so far! Thank you for a fantastic app.

Coolest pic app ever!!. This is one off The coolest app I’ve ever came across. I will say this is one of my favorites and for only a few money you can’t beat that!! Thanks to whoever made it!!!!! I just got this app and have only played with it a few times, but so far I’m loving it and will more than likely get the subcpition version soon. I just need to learn a bit more about what all it will do!

Do not sign up for the “free trial” it’s not free. An absolute scam. Literally fraud, it said it was giving me three days to decide and then it charged 20 dollars to my account. The app itself is nothing more than a series of half baked photoshop filters, which surprise surprise you can’t actually use to make a cartoon version of yourself. It’s nothing more than a threshold effect, maybe some posterization. The app is built cheap but is also. My advice is when you see ads for this clickbait junk, make a cartoon version of yourself or see what you’ll look like when your older, don’t give it a chance. You’ll get some cheap filters that could cost you 20$ a week. Who doesn’t want to spend 80$ a month on an app they’ll never use?

SCAM!!!!. I downloaded this app to try out. The app showed 3-day trial right on the main screen when signing up! I used the app for a couple hours, did not like it at all. Went straight to the App Store & cancelled the app. Still got charged, didn’t have the app even 24 hours. Don’t suggest contacting Apple because they are just as bad, I advised of the advertisement of the 3 day trial but it was suggest the plan I choose didn’t have a 3 day trial, but it shows 1 week, 1 month and 1 year subscriptions offer a 3 day trial. So what plan was I on? When you look at my receipts, it shows the free trial download then it shows another 5 min later of a paid subscription that I absolutely did not choose! So as soon as you download this app, it pushes a subscription on you!! This app has false advertisement. Either the wording needs to be fixed or do not even offer a trial. Because I did cancel within 24 hours and still got charged. Apple is no help either.

The features shown cost $$$$. While I understand an app developer needs to bring in revenue, pretty much all of the effects used to advertise this app cost quite a bit, and not an outright purchase, but a high monthly subscription. The free filters and effects are awful. Maybe if I was so wrapped-up in myself that I was taking selfie’s every 5 minutes, it might be worth the fee, but for an occasional user, it’s not worth even a fraction of the monthly price. I’ve deleted the app.

Jakal702 is right. This app is a scam. When you open it up. There’s a big yellow continue button and a lot of fine print. If you click continue, it automatically brings up thumbprint confirmation to sign up for the subscription. If you press cancel it offers a 3 day free trial that will start to charge you automatically after the trial ends. There is no way into the promised content except through subscribing or signing up for a free trial. Bottom line: this app is NOT free. You’re better off downloading Prisma if you want to make photos look like art.

As best as I can recall cuz it happened so fast, basically the screen prompts you to test out the app on a pic YOU ARE BUYING THE SUBSCRIPTION ... at least that’s what happened on my phone (and several others from what I see here in the reviews) & clearly I have no intention on forking over $89 to cartoon pics. You are different!. i personally LOVE This app. It’s not like the rest of the cartoon filter apps. This app actually gives you a chance to see the actual app. For example, other apps Litteraly SLAM let’s say a 100$ fee per year with only a 3 day trial and it’s very hard to cancel. You are by far the best App of the filter/cartoon category I’ve seen so far. My only recommendation is to lower the yearly fee. Other then that, keep up the good work!👍

Click bait scam app - BEWARE IT WILL RESET YOUR PHONE. SCAM SCAM SCAM Not sure what it did to my phone but as soon as I downloaded my phone started to act like it was updating itself. And as I’m waiting for the phone to turn on I try to use the app but of course it’s asking me for subscription. I believe it will charge you for free subscription and once you click yes, it sends an agreement to pay for subscription so don’t do it. The company is fraudulent and Apple will see on their end that you agreed to a subscription. You have been warned. I can tell the other reviewers are getting the same copy paste response from developers to email them but it’s not going to help because they want to scam you. The only way you may get your money back is if you call the bank and tell them it’s a scam app which it is. The app itself is not convenient or fun in anyway.

SCAM APP! FREE TRIAL OFFER IS A LIE!. THIS APP IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM! They offer a “3 day free trial” but then immediately charge your credit card when you accept. It‘s also obvious most the 5 star reviews are phony fake reviews, they’re just vague one sentence reviews probably made to counteract all the real 1 star reviews from people getting ripped off. It does not turn photos into cartoons like the Instagram ad shows, misleading advertising. I should’ve known better and learned my lesson not to be duped by such ads. I immediately unsubscribed and deleted the app when I realized I got cheated. If you get ripped off as I did, report the problem to Apple for a refund.

Very appreciative. It is a very fun (and easy to use) app to quickly convert your photo to a comic illustration version of your photo. I had a question and was impressed that the company quickly responded to my question. Five stars for quality, ease of use, speed, and customer service.

There are so many free contents!. Very cool app! There are many free contents I can use! And they are so attractive! I have had such fun with this app. Many times the painter’s versions are just beautiful. I love how sweet children look. Some of the cartoons are straight out of Pixar others, with the right hair, are straight out of Manga. Make beautiful gifts, funny cards, great social media.

Scam. Misleading. App does not allow a free trial without a subscription that must be cancelled. If the app is as good as they advertise, then let me see it in action, even if only briefly to decide if it’s worth almost $250 per year. Also sad to see developers blame their bait and switch practices on apple. Apple does not make them charge this much without app functioning being seen or prevent them from offering a true free version or free trial period. Disgusting that much of their profits likely come from people not cancelling fast enough rather than the merits of the product.

Photo adjustments. So starting to surface OK it saves automatically wants to turn to a cartoon but sometimes I feel like I have to crop it I don’t wanna crop anything that I already just did. Not only is it easy to use, but also gives you plenty of options to choose from. My pictures come to life and I have fun with this app. Can’t go wrong downloading this, it’s amazing.

Buyer Beware!! Read reviews!!. This is literally a piece of junk! It falsely advertises to you a 3 day free trial upon opening the app. Once opened, it then will charge you for the entire month right away. I have never experienced this with any other app offering free trials. The app developers response to other buyers stating or insinuating that the buyer doesn’t read the app purchase prompt properly is bull droppings. Any other app that offers you a free trial DOES NOT charge you immediately. Instead it will charge you after the very next day of which the trial period ends. Going onto apple support’s link to request a refund, it will show you that the purchase doesn’t have a receipt either. So you may or may not get reimbursement. I just called my bank to dispute the charge and have it dealt with that way. This is not an app worth over $21 dollars a month in recurring fees. And the other buyers are correct when they say that the app is definitely a scam! Don’t bother with emailing the support page from the developer either. They’ll just give you a round about reason foe why they’re not responsible for refunds and continue to not fix their app and mislead customers into a subscription they didn’t want! Just based off of this, I wouldn’t even give it 1 star but that was my only option in order to write a review.

Not at all as advertised. I rarely ever leave a review, but the whole foundation of this app’s marketing is a flat out lie. They advertise turning you into an actual cartoon in their pictures, but it’s just a scam to get you to buy their subscription. None of the quality is any good, and the only accurate part of the app’s name is “quick.” For instance, I was very quick to realize that this isn’t art, it’s an absolute scam. Of course the good review is placed at the beginning, but one swipe and you’ll see the many other voice along side my own that know the developer is only trying to con people out of their money. I wish I could give negative stars, because you don’t even deserve a single star.

The app is not free. The ad to this app said that it is free. That is a lie. This is one of those apps that it you have to pay a certain amount of money a month to use. You should update the ad to this app if you still have to pay. Downloading the app might be free, but actually using the app isn’t and somewhere in the ad it should state that. Scam that doesn’t even deserve one star. I downloaded this app. I immediately opened it in hopes to play around with it and see if I liked it. BUT, I didn’t get that opportunity. When I opened the app, the screen ONLY gave the option of pressing “continue.” I kept trying to tap anywhere else, and nothing was happening. So, I pressed continue. HUGE mistake! The moment I lifted my thumb, I was charged just over $95!!! What?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! I absolutely did NOT want to make a purchase! I wasn’t even given an option to cancel it! Do NOT give me the same ridiculous reply you gave someone else - trying to blame it on Apple. It was YOUR app that didn’t have any other option upon opening it for the first time! Free? Absolutely NOTHING was free! You scammed me, and others. I’m demanding my money back. AND, warning others. Fix your app, or BE HONEST and tell people it’s $89 plus taxes!!!! But, no matter what, I WILL get my money back. This is unbelievable. Update- there is no way to cancel this subscription. I am on a FIXED INCOME! I’ve already reached out to an attorney. Beautiful pics. So I downloaded this app and it is awesome. You can actually cartoon yourself! according to some of the other comments they did not have the best treatment, but this app is great! I’m able to use a variety of pics to get different looks that aren’t far off from the original picture. I love the outcome every time. Lot’s of fun. Give it a try. Love to play with this app with the family. Definitely should give it a try.

10 Stars for Quickart. I’v been using this app for a while now and I really want to buy the extras but I don’t have any money, and I’m excited for this weekend, because I get to pull weeds in my naber’s yard, and get paid, so I can buy the VIP pack. I love this app there is little add or nothing i love it. An app that not only helps makes you pics pop but it actually end up being a hobby. App is getting better all the time (I’m a subscriber). They want your money even before usage.. I am alway Leary or app or programs that start an automatic free trial that then immediately takes your payment info. They know that if you forget to cancel fast enough they get at least 1 subscription from you. Depending on the company it could be a month or a years subscription. Shady tactics.. but not illegal. These companies also make it super easy to pay, difficult to cancel. Good luck.

Oh fun. I love this like she was super creepy, and the app is smooth and fast. I was looking for a simple tool to make fun art of myself. This did the trick . It was high quality and super simple to use. I really like how they look just like you which is better than some other apps I’ve tried. Let’s just hope it’s not too expensive.

So far so good.. Lots of cool options for converting your pics to drawings. I created several beautiful animated pictures for Instagram in a minutes. And it’s easy and fun. Usually I don’t have a nerves to learn a photo redact apps, but this one so simple - I loaded, opened and started to do a project immediately and in first 5 minutes I had fantastic video from a standard photo. It’s not free, but it worth several bucks for the fun and profit you’ll have. Guys, you are amazing and thank you for this app

Managed a free trial for 3 days - still not worth it!. I didn’t get caught on the 1 year subscription for $150 like other thankfully! I carefully clicked no but I got a “free gift” of a 3 day trial with $12 a week after that. This is such a money making scheme! Honesty a subscription to adobe is nearly cheaper! The app is honestly terrible -so many other apps do the exact same thing. This was advertised as an app that can turn your photos into a cartoon which I wanted for branding for social media - if it had been able to do that I would have paid $12 for a few selfies to be converted but it just did that pop art thing. Total scam - stay away. This is nothing more than some terribly basic filters. Nothing like what they advertise. And, they trick you into paying even in the free version (it’s not free)

Unwanted subscription. I once downloded the app and cancel any subscription but now i find out there is $150 charge on my account. I’m so mad i even didnt use the app for an hour.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. Terrible App! Three days free trial doesn’t exist and developers will not reimburse/refund the $40 they take without your permission, for their false advertising! Unbelievable that these developers are desperate enough to do this to people!

Deceiving. Ad is deceiving and the cartoon drawing shown in the ad is nothing like what it really is and is just a over saturated version of the photo.

Charged During Trial & Not as Advertised. The advertising for this app seemed great. I downloaded it and it forced me to do a 3 day trial. Immediately I realized that the results were NOTHING like the ads. Nothing. I cancelled the subscription immediately, which was same day as downloading. I deleted the app, that’s how bad it was. Then tonight (same day) I was charged $25!! I absolutely cancelled it, so this to me is like stealing. I’ve launched a complaint to Apple. Save yourself the trouble for a less than mediocre app.

Deliberately deceptive Advertising. Not a great way to do business during a time of financial hardship. Downloaded. Upon opening, I was taken to a page with a large button saying “continue” well above the button “7.99 a week cancel any time” and “will be charged to your iTunes account” was posted in ultra fine light grey print. If you don’t notice and hit continue you would be auto charged the $8 immediately and then every week until you notice. Be upfront and put it in the ad or description.

Great and funny photo editor app. I have ever used sevaral photo editor apps, and i like this one best! The functions of it is diverse and easy to use, which can make my photos so impessive and diffenriated. I alway use it when i am free and then post iton facebook, and it got many likes!!!

Not again. I see spot of these kinds of apps. There’s the common “age” filter, there’s this cartoon filter, etc. I downloaded this app hoping it didn’t cost money to use, as all of these “cool filter apps” end up as. I even saw a review that said it was great because you didn’t have to pay for it. I thought “wow! That’s new! I’ll definitely get this app.” When I opened it up, I saw something that said that I had to pay $90 A YEAR. Every time! That’s why this app is terrible.

Every update is a surprise. The app always updates its contents which make me surprise. And the contents are different and worth using cause they are so cute!

Diverse content. There are a lot contents in this app, every filter is diffrent and funny, haha, i love iT. I will keep on using it until i find another app better than it.

RIP OFF ALERT! THE “FREE APP” IS $20/month. The only way to use this app is to pay $20/month ($240 annually for a cartoon app!!) or sign up for a 3 month trial and because there have been developers who bill people after they’ve repeatedly tried to cancel, I’m not falling for the free trial. That’s a risk I’m not willing to take. The 5 star apps use similar language as if developer’s friends have been coached. Don’t fall for it and don’t sign up for a free trial. The app isn’t free as advertised so why trust the 3 month “free trial”? BUYER BEWARE!

SCAM. How do I report this app? After writing this review to warn people I would seek a way to report this app. The app said I should have a 3-day trial before I commit to any subscription service which is the reason why I proceeded with the payment authorization. Turned out it charged me straight away so I deleted the app immediately, locked my credit card and called my bank for a refund. This is not finished yet! I hate scammers so I will take you down!

Quick and fast!. Can do amazing things in a very short time. Well worth the purchase price. It not only helps photos look professional but it is incredibly fun to use! If you love photography then this is the app to get.

Fantastic!. This app is really fun to use and makes my pictures so much more fun and lively you can do light or dark even if you don’t have the pro it’s still a very fun game.

Not intuitive. Well this is a disappointment. The app downloads my photo, then goes black after seeming to download or apply the treatment I’ve selected. No photos are then available in the app. As we say, a disappoint. AND the feedback apparatus doesn’t play well with my outlook or gmail accounts, so feedback via the app is not possible as far as I can see.

$89 fee. Take this app down or at least mark it how you priced it. I downloaded this and you HAVE to pay money to use it. I don’t even think paying for the trial is worth it. If you’re going to create an app and hope that people get it, be honest about your pricings in the description. Overall, this was a waste of my time and I am so sorry for the other people out there that actually thought downloading this app was a good idea.

Can’t use it for long…. It would be an awesome app if I was able to use it as much as I wanted! It keeps telling me I’m generating things too quickly and I should try back tomorrow. What the heck is up with that? I also don’t like that if you cut an image out the edges are super pixelated.

This is Not Free. The pice is too high.. That’s why I downloaded this. Because someone said it was one of the fewer apps that is free. Pffffff, Nope $89. a year. I don’t mind paying some. Great experience. This app can take photos in app or upload them and put about twenty different filters on them. I love this app!! It so easy to use and I use it for most of my photos highly recommend.

Most important feature useless. The most important feature of an app like this is the ability to separate the person in the photo from the background. There are many apps available which perform this operation very well BUT this isn’t one of them. As a result, you will start out having to do a lot of manual things to do the separation which the app should have done for you. In addition, the price of this app is outrageous! THE MONTHLY PRICE IS WAAAY TO HIGH.

Complete Scam should be removed from App Store. As other TRUE reviewers have mentioned, this app is a total scam. I wasn’t charge $89/year but I was charge roughly $21/month when it told me I would get the first 3 days FREE!!! Your photos will never look anything like what they advertise. Doesn’t matter the quality of your photo, trust me I’m a photographer and none of my portraits worked. I want my money back since I was told the first 3 days were free AND YET I WAS CHARGED RIGHT AWAY.

Easy to use. It's a very easy app for my children to use, and it can make our family photo look so cut and alive. We all love the cartoon filter in this app, so funny!

Skeptical. Was excited to try the app, but then I had to subscribe to gain access which I had no problem doing since it was a three day trial. So I decided to try it out and then consider paying for it since it said no charges until my trial was over. It took about $23 out of my credit even though it said free trial.

Make my photos alive. Perfect app for new creations, make my photos alive. When I got this app I instantly fell in love with it and my family did to even without pro it is amazing I would tottaly recommend this app.

One-click Cartoon face is a fraud. It looks nothing like the animated looking pictures they advertise. And on top of that, it offers a 3 day free trial but says you have to sign up for the $20 monthly fee so I figured, oh well I can try it for the first three days and see if I like it, then next thing I know, it charged me $20 off my card. I want a refund because I did not sign up for that. Don’t want to be a Karen about this but man, girl’s gotta pay her bills.

Very quick loading speed. It can download so fast and use fluently!! My phone is a little bit old than many apps can't use fluently, so i like it!! And the functions are good.

Free trial but charged me. If I could give negative stars I would. This app is ridiculous deleted it right after downloading due to them charging me for the “free trial” it showed when I accepted the download. Absolutely horrible customer service as well, no reply after two weeks of emailing. No numbers to call either. SCAM PEOPLE. LITERALLY A SCAM PEOPLE. I though I tried it out for my photography, and upon downloading it offered me a 3 day free trial . I accepted it (I’ve done this in other US apps without any problems), then within the same day I was charged for a years worth of subscription. I don’t even like the app it is super buggy and never captures my figures well. I don’t ever really complain about apps doing this, but this application is the first to ever scam me like this.

Do it for free!. so all you have to do is when you get on the cartoon place or where ever you want to go all you have to do is take a screen shot and then you can use it all you have to do is edit it so you won’t see the bottom! x.

Can’t even try it. I was so excited to see what the cartoon feature would do, but the app wouldn’t even let me try the function without subscribing. Not gonna buy something that I can’t make sure will even work well. Not to mention the app has adds so they should allow us to at least have a basic preview of the function they advertise. They bill you instantly before even giving you a chance look at it!. This app said I had 3 days before being billed. They billed me (instantly) before I even pulled it up to look at what it could do. I did not want to purchase it unless I checked it out first! This caused me to overdraw my account and I incurred bank fees because of it!!!! And my payment was returned as NSF! My last app didn’t do that—they actually gave me the free days to check it out first like it said, unlike this app! This is a rip off!!!!!!!!

Not happy!. I downloaded this mainly to try the cartoon/ painting effect for my kids. I didn’t want to pay and only wanted to do the free trial. I ended up getting charged for a month’s subscription. Then on top of that the cartoon/ painting effect looks NOTHING like the picture they show. I have played around with it for awhile with a few different pictures and none of them come close to having the same effect with color saturation.

User friendly. I love how easy this app is. I don't need to learn how to use it for a long time. Take an ordinary pic and make it spectacular. This app is amazing it’s so fast and easy to make some incredible epic effects!! Will be spending some good time on this!

No way to cancel it. I won't delete it from my phone. Such a great app. The functions are very different from the other apps i have used.
