not great. i paid $5 a week for a subscription to this app and constantly had it crash on me. there’s an option to delete backgrounds of multiple photos which takes 2-3 minutes (admittedly much faster than it would in photoshop) but sometimes the images would save blurry beyond the point of use, or the app would crash. this has definitely saved me a lot of time in hindsight but it has come with a lot of frustration as well. good luck

Don’t waste your time. The app actually is good and easy to use. Been using it for 3 years UNTIL it auto renewed, I paid the renewal and it won’t work. Just loops me through paying again (except even when I try to pay again, it won’t let me saying I’m already subscribed). Contacted support and they refuse to look into the issue until I contact apple and get an invoice proving I paid. Despite sending screenshot after screenshot of the charge on my credit card, the app itself saying I’m renewed until 2024, the App Store saying I’m renewed until 2024, their support pulling up my email address and saying I’m renewed until 2024 - they just go back to well we need your invoice from apple to prove it. You bought it from apple, their problem not ours. Honestly, I’m very disappointed I wasted 45 minutes of my time dealing with “Ryan” with the fake photo. Don’t waste your time.

Just what we needed. This app does a great job removing the background on our images. We love the bulk edit option. I wish it could do more than 9 photos at a time, but it’s better than 1 at a time!

doesn’t have the feature I was searching for. The whole reason I downloaded this app,, was to edit existing text that’s already in the original photo… It claimed this app was capable of performing this task… But that particular feature is not even available… Now if that feature is part of the paid version,, did that makes no sense at all,, and definitely DOES NOT make me want to purchase the paid version,, if I cannot test out more of the featuresI’d be paying for!!

What a great app!. So far I think it does the best job of all the apps of removing the background precisely so you can add a white background for online selling. So I highly recommend so far!

The Best! Fast and easy. I have tried so many of these type of apps that erase backgrounds and this is by far the best! I can create a product picture that looks professional in minutes and now with the new update I can remove in bulk which will make the process even faster. This app is easy to use and has several color backgrounds. They also offer many other backgrounds but most of them are pretty cheesy, my only recommendation would be to have better more realistic backgrounds and ones that would work for flat lay product pictures.

Thanks. Finally a background remover tool that I can use on all of my devices. Editing fine-line details needs a little work, but seeing as how the initial cutout is easily the most accurate out of all the frustrating apps before I find you, I’m not too worried about it. Well done.

Account creation forced upon you. This app makes it hard for you not create an account and use it as a guest. When you select log as guest, it makes you wait until you can finally click the guest button. The app constantly tries to force the subscription model on you, but you can also pay per picture usage. My first attempt to used did not go as planned and my pictures was incorrectly cropped.

Great Tool for Artists. This app works to isolate images that can then be used for drawings when backgrounds want to be changed. Very useful to anyone who doe not know much about manipulating images with technology. It works easily.

Apowersoft Background Erase. As an amateur photographer I know how to use an photo editing program to change a background and for fine art photography it’s worth the time. Appwersoft Background Erase does the work in a fraction of the time and produces a photo perfect for selling on EBay or other for sale sites.

Crashes constantly.. Not sure why this gets so many good reviews. Admittedly, it works better than most, and it’s much faster. However, I rarely got to use the image that I was working with. I used it about 15 times. It crashed at least 11 of those, and I lost all my work. I spent a good amout of time on the last image I worked with because of the long curly hair in the pic. It was almost perfect - right before it crashed. All my careful work vanished, once again. Another issue is all the advertising that they force you to watch when you’re finished editing before you can save your work to your device. It’s very irritating. When you try to close the advertising it open Safari, AND takes you to the App Store repeatedly. That is, if you are lucky enough to make it that far without crashing. So, you have to close two Apps to get back to your edit, just in time for it to happen again. I have big fingers, so the tiny X one must click on is barely a possibility, even with a stylus. Once again, not able to save the work. Crazy frustrating. Following the last episode, I deleted the App. Pretty sure I’m not the only one this has happened to. Totally disagree with all the good reviews. Hope this doesn't happen to you. Good luck!

Amazing. I love using this for my online store, I so simple and I love I can do it from my laptop too instead of only on my phone like other similar apps. Looks like the photos were edited professionally

Doesn’t tell you until AFTER you sign up you have to pay to remove logo. Very misleading.. You test a picture after signing up and it looks great, no logo and auto background. Then u go to download pic and it says u have to register. Fine. You register and ben you see suddenly your photo has a giant logo on it and you have to pay to remove it. Misleading. You should state this upfront. What a waste of time and unethical.

Handy. Almost every app in the App Store are not easy to use, until I found your newly updated background remover app. Now I don't need to look for a tutorial just to help how to use this app.

App does not work. I have went back and forth on emails and no help. This app does not work , I paid the monthly subscription and the watermark is still there. I have reached out multiple emails and they finally stopped responding after telling me they would look into it - it has been several days now I will file a dispute with my credit card company but please don’t be scammed, this app does not work and they just take your money

Doesn’t do what I was hoping...can’t cancel payment!. I thought that I would be able to cut out photos I like and layer them using my own photos. I want to use a photo of my home and add things like shutters, awnings and pergolas using my own photos. This is not the right app for what I want to do! Sadly, I had to pay to use it, only to learn this is a very specific use app. How do I cancel payment.

Love this app!. So great that it removes the background automatically. I often have to search for items with “white background” and it takes me forever to compile materials for my early intervention learners. This app makes my life so much easier!

Good background removal. I like this app a lot unfortunately all of the colors and backgrounds are now gone . I use to use the backgrounds that were on the app and a variety of colors for backgrounds I i can add a custom background still the new layout is ok but I liked the old one. Would definitely recommend app for background removal fast easy and effective. Definitely an easy app to use worth the investment. Would have given 5 stars if all the colors and backgrounds had not disappeared Still great. Wish you would put a few backgrounds/color options back

When it works it’s great. When it works it’s great only issue is often it grabs something random from the background and thinks it’s part of the image I need. Trying to use the manual erase with my winger always leaves wavy lines as I can’t be exact. Wish there was a “try again” option or some way to let the software know it’s grabbing an unnecessary part

Works wonders. Background eraser is the only app I have found that completely erases the background leaving the primary subject untouched. I have used other apps and spent so much time going in to modify the image myself. I’m so grateful I can speed up this process.

Missing a 'put back' or 'keep' option. It really removes, yes it does this perfecly. Sometimes way too much. Problem is there is no way to put back some of what it has removed. Oddly, their documentation shows a different set of controls then what this app has. Wish I'd realized they've got different versions of the same thing with the controls that run on different platforms. -- Update-- Developer thinks there's more controls available in this version than what the user gets. There is only Change Background and Resize there IS NOT MANUAL editing control available!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!. This app is a total scam! It doesnt do what the description says and when you reach out to customer support they give you the run around acting like they dont understand what you're saying. I did not have half the options shown in the screenshots via their FAQs page (even thought I bought the $20 package). I spent forever on chat with their support and even sent screenshots of what I see on my app vs what they tell me I should see and then they told me to put through a ticket and wait 48 hours for them to investigate. no thanks! I just requested a refund. This app is junk!

BEST PRODUCT APP EVER!. I have recently created my on ETST seller account and in researching the different background changer apps and her friends, this one is by far the best and easiest to use professional-appearing photo enhancing option for sellers.I only wish I had found it sooner because I have spent a significant amount of time testing out the others and I just want to say enough about easy it is to use. The automatic background changing is a breeze, and it does not look like a beginner such as myself createdThe stunning photos this app produces. I highly recommend it and again it’s not saying that’s about it it will not be sorry but this is the app you choose, I simply would not waste your time trying the other programs or apps that are available, this one will satisfy your needs from the start and I’m just very excited I found it! Crashes all the time. I used to love this app. I pay for a membership and can rarely use it because it never works. When I contact customer service, all they do is apologize and say, it crashes sometimes. Very disappointing. It only works 20% of the time. I canceled my membership. Not worth the money.

An awesome background removal app. This app allows me to easily change background for my son’s pictures so now I can use them in school yearbook and other album. The quality of the app is really good and it has tons of backgrounds that I can use for my pictures. Now, I can take professional looking portraits at home.

Coming in Clutch. used this app because i needed a white background on a photo to upload to use as a photo ID. Photo came out perfect! Saved me the time and effort of having to find a solid white wall in order to retake the photo!

Not able to do anything, tricks you into paying more. I read the whole app, I googled it, I paid for a membership. I am still not able to upload my own backgrounds or find a way to get different backgrounds. While trying to figure out how, I clicked “buy images” thinking this would be the key. Then it thanked me for my purchase and nothing happened. Nothing new was unlocked, no new menu options. Reading through “customer service” informs you that buying images is the same as buying a membership but without the time limit. There is very little to this app if you are looking for professional backgrounds for images and there appears to be no way to add backgrounds or sort though more than the limited pop-esk variety provided. Very disappointing and expensive to be that disappointed. If your going to trick people into paying you for nothing, make it $2.99. $16 dollars is too much to feel this let down.

Twinmom. This app is absolutely great! Much better than all the ones that you have to manually try to remove the background. This does it automatically. So simple and easy and it does a great job! The reason I don’t give five stars is because the background images are so limited! I paid $9.99 plus tax for 300 uses of the images and was disappointed to discover that there are so few images. Please add more!

Charged incorrectly. I was charged $6.99 for my weekly subscription yesterday but then didn’t work I wasn’t able to save the photos regardless of my subscription. As I was trying to save it charged me twice again $13.98 on top of the charge yesterday and I’m still not able to save the photos. So now I’ve been charged $20 and have not been able to save any photos at all!!!!! 😡😡😡

Scam. This states that it’s a free app however not only are your photos watermarked with their logo but you can’t save until you have purchased a subscription. Complete scam

Needs improvement. Obviously a phone app, too much wasted screen space on ipad. The need to create yet another account to enter a redemption code means it was deleted in less than 2 minutes. It’s the 21st century - move with the times!

Face. This doesn’t work

Works but not great. I paid to see if it actually works well but it doesn't. When removing the background on items that has some similar colored details there's no option to add back the details that were removed. like food with a white cream which gets erased because the background was white as well. This was the reason why I purchased this product was for food and product photography but because of this glaring issue I can't give it a high recommendation. Please fix this issue.

Ultra Precise. My biggest problem with background removers was uneven cropping which resulted in a lot of additional time that I would have to spend on carefully erasing the bits of the background that were not automatically removed. This app solved it for me! Holy grail of background removing

Unable to remove background. I purchased a quarterly plan nand using the app for about a week , now it say available pictures 1 and want me to buy picture package for extra money. The app didn’t say anything about the amount of editable pictures included in the quarter plan.

Steal your money. I bought a package of 50 photos, used less than 10!! The app logged me out and Now when I log back in it Acts like I’ve never purchased and nothing has been saved.

Network Error. It was working just for two weeks. Now you can’t even change the background color. It keeps saying “network error”. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. But now, can’t even login into my account. When I put my phone number in to login, the app page just disappears!!!

Exactly what I was looking for. It set my product image perfectly with white background. Amazing!

Errors. Every time I try to upload an image to edit, it stops at 70% and fails. Clicking retry nets the same results over and over. This subscription isn’t cheap. I should not have these issues. I have tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, etc. nothing changes and I am at a loss.

Terrible. Continually log you out and pretend like you didn’t pay for a subscription when you have months left.

Stopped working! Poor customer service. This app was a lot of money! And it just stopped working. When I reached out to customer service, they were not helpful. Unfortunately I will not be renewing and found another app that works better!

Why blurry photos when pics are saved with new bg?. When I save as HD with standard white replace background, pictures are more blurry. Why is this?

I need this to work. Where is the image? It saves to nothing. You pay and it does a great job and then it is literally nowhere usable at all. What a waste. I need to be able to download the image I paid for.

I would say it’s OK. it works very very well it is super clean around the edges but I cannot save my image without having to pay for them

Glitch?. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but when I click on remove background it will start to say processing and then it never works. It’ll say oops failed to remove background. I’ve tried several pictures so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Got jebaited. I spent like 20 minutes adjusting an image then when I went to save my hard work they took the image hostage and asked for $10 for an iOS app then of course there was a network error cause the app is coded bad and all my changes were lost. gg got me good there

Surprised it does nothing without paying. Looks like a free download, but you have to pay on a per image basis, and first learn this is after creating a login on their system. Deceptive business practices are gross.
