Bad. I can’t even get passed the loading screen when I open the app.

Don’t fix it if it’s not broken. I look forward to watching the World Juniors and World Championship every year and rely on this app for all upcoming games, stats, etc. Unfortunately this new app that was made for the 2020 tournaments just doesn’t seem up to the standards from the years prior. Very glitchy, doesn’t seem to load correctly, doesn’t have the same features like it used to, please bring back the old app with a much better, and cleaner update.

App much worse than prior years. Just downloaded the app for the 2021 men’s senior worlds, and it seems much worse than in prior years. Before the app was kind of basic, but it worked well. Now the app freezes/hangs regularly when I open it. When I tried to register it froze. When I tried to add notifications for my team, it froze. When I opened the app again after a few minutes of doing something else, it froze. Revert to the old version until you fix these issues please!

Blue screen. Just installed, and after launching, all that is displayed is a large blue box ... app is of no use.

Needs a few features. Surprised they didn’t update the old app. Need info on broadcasting partners to watch online Online streaming feature if possible Definitely need store to order fan gear and jerseys on the app

Doesn’t load.. Just sits at a blue screen with a spinning circle.

Game Status is Terrible. The status of a game, the period and time remaining, needs to be displayed more prominently. It’s nearly impossible to check it quickly.

Terrible changes. I’ve used this app for years but the recent changes are nauseating!!!! It went from a previously great experience to FIVE pop up ads within the first few clicks after I opened the app for IIHF worlds 2023. Absolutely ruined the app for me and I’ll use website instead from now on

It’s so bad. Deleted almost instantly. How hard is it to make a simple box score?

No Scores for Mens games. This app does not display the current men's IIHF scores. It only lists women's divisions.

No timely game updates. Does not update the scores and teams! The app needs major improvements.

Please fix this!. Have loved this app in the day. This year all I can get is info on the women’s tournaments. Please fix!!

Used to be better.. It used to verbally announce notifications. Now the notifications don’t work at all.

Almost nothing works. Matches - no data, stats - no data, standings - no data

App. Once I downloaded the app it won’t show up on my phone.

No Stat Leaders. The app will show the scores of the games, but no stat leaders. The "Players" stat page never loads. When you tap on the "Team" stats page it shows stats of the most recent game with a few meager stats from all the teams below. This app needs improvement.

App not up to date. World Juniors starts in two days and you have not yet posted the rosters. What gives?

What happened to the iPad-friendly GUI???????. My iPad is NOT a giant iPhone! Last year’s version was SO much better! Why couldn’t you just “cut & paste” it into this season’s?

Does It Open?. Installed the app, connected on solid Wi-Fi, app never opens. Just a blue screen with a spinning status icon. Bummer...

Awful. Can’t track WJC, only can track women’s tournaments. Fix it!!!!

Nothing happens?. Just a blue circle rotating... Tournament started but all scores are 0-0

Is there an opposite of stars?. Does not deserve a one star, beyond bad. First it didn’t load on 3 attempts, then the graphics are all over. Now it’s showing last year’s scores with today’s date...

Blue screen is cool. If you wanna a baby blue screen on your phone, this is the app for you. If you want info on IIHF scores and such, you’re SOL.

No Boxscore?. This is the worst sports app I’ve ever experienced. Is it too much to ask for something as simple as a game boxscore? Stats pages for individual players or teams? I’m an NHL fan who follows the WJC for the primary purpose of tracking my teams prospects. I’m certainly not the only one using the app for this purpose. I implore the IIHF to consider their user audience when developing the app for next year. Demand better from your app developer, or get rid of them and find someone else.

Bad app. I downloaded the latest version of this app to follow the 2021 World Jr men’s championship. But all the app offered me was access to various women’s tournaments that were cancelled due to the pandemic. I deleted and reloaded, only to have the same problem. I had limited success with this app last year, but even then is was woefully behindnin posting scores and stats. Don’t waste your time.

Bad. It is hard to believe that there is a new version of this app and it is actually worse than the previous ones. As usual, the people who made this have no idea what hockey is.

Not Working At All. Not sure why, each year, I have to install a new app, but that’s annoying to begin with. This app is not working at all, just cycling looking for data, or to connect, or something??? WJC starts, bad timing on IIHF. So bad it’s comical. Look at Semis right now. No teams but scores.

Where’s The Basic Info?. Game stats are terrible. Hard to tell how much time is even left in a game, if it’s in an intermission, etc. Would be much better if they just stimuli to basic game stats (score, SOG, time left/played, penalties, etc.).

Not good anymore. This app doesn’t load right and stats don’t work either. Worked a lot better when sponsored by Skoda.

Frustrations and poor results. I hate that the scores page always defaults to the first day of the tournament so that you have to scroll down, way down, to find the latest scores- it should default to the latest. Also, on my Apple iPad, the recent scores are never up-to-date- games from two days ago are listed as 0-0 and I have to select the match to see the actual score. Then then summary page for the completed match is terrible- mostly useless and uninspiring. Please see the official NHL app to see how it’s done properly. Is it even possible to follow a favorite team 🇱🇻??

Much worse than previous years. The app is much slower and has less features than previous years. It does not show scores while the game is going on, it only shows the final. Rosters are also not all updated. Very poor app this year. The website works much better.

Fix titles. Good content, however can’t subscribe to the USA or AUS notifications as the bell sent come up on the team page. I would abbreviate the titles to fit them in.

Et le Français?. À quand une version en français de cette application? Lorsqu’on voit la liste des langues disponibles, il est très décevant de la part de la IIHF de ne pas voir le Français inclus!

It’s ok. I really like the fact you can cheer for teams and there is a decent amount of information you would want to know. The one thing I don’t like, most of the time pulling down to refresh does not work you actually have to delete the tab on iPhone to get the current score. It makes me really mad and want to use another app or ask Siri

Where’s the info on the Women’s U18?. Not acceptable!

Meh. I want to see the players NHL affiliations (drafted). And want to see player numbers without going into each player individually.

Best hockey anywhere. Nothing like watch pure heart playing a great game. Once these boys get to the majors things change and so does the game. Big thumbs up to all players from every team. Thanks for the great entertainment. Cheers

Find a different App!. Possibly the worst hockey app you could ever download. Watching games right now on TV and they have absolutely no info online. No rosters, No schedule, No standings. The IIHF should be embarrassed and ashamed of the job they do!!!!!!

No updates!!!!. No new juniors 2021

Don’t download this it is a piece of c**p. Bring back the old app it worked great on both iPhone and iPad. I would give it a minus if I could.

Top div u20. App is fine except in top division of u 20. Cant see any of the players stats or where they play during the season division 2a has that i dont see why top div is bugged

Confusing. Takes forever to find the info I want.

Used to be better..... ...but currently very glitchy. Does not fit on screen so much of the info is unreadable. Team stats don’t update, at least the current team stats in the U20 don’t seem to.

Great app. I like that you can see stats. Love the fact you can see all divisions, you can see what teamis coming in to the top divisions and what team is being relegated

Et le français?. La FIHG est morte, vive l’IIHF, sigle unique. Déjà, je suis déçu. Mais que l’application soit disponible en 8 langues qui n’incluent pas le français, c’est vraiment pas chill et ça fait table rase de l’histoire de cette fédération sportive. Hockey Canada, Suisse et France, vous acceptez sans broncher?

Amazing app. This app is extremely simple to use and offers cool functionalities. 10/10 overall. You can even enable push notifications for your favorite team.

Junk. Very unreliable. Can’t move between men and women’s events, etc etc etc

Poor poor version this year. Last year's app was on point. This year's app keeps on crashing or simply not working/updating. Nothing seems to work. Yesterday's results aren't even completed when I log in. It's simply awful. Waste of time. Needs major fix.

Glitchy. Not a bad app, updates the score and actions taken, but the app is slow, very glitchy and it has somehow erased all my previous predictions of “predict the winner”. Once it logged me off for no reason, and the fan zone is done badly. ALL my predictions are gone, so the winners drafted will be basically not fair for people who had the same problem as me. Well all I wanted was an app to tell me the score, and that’s what I got. However, it’s really glitchy and basically tons of other apps like Sportsnet and The Score can do that. If you simply want to see the scores, don’t download this app.

Wrong flag. In 2021 2021 IIHF WM Championship Russia plays under Olympic Committee flag, are you not aware of that?

No content for 2022. Why is there no content for 2022? Under “teams” i only see 5 teams listed and none are the teams Canada. No data available under “Games”, “Standings”, or “Statistics”.

Indispensable. J’adore cette app et je m’en sers lors de la plupart des tournois. J’aimerais bien qu’on y ajoute une section pour les matchs pré-tournoi cependant. Indispensable pour mon tournoi préféré, celui des moins de 20 ans!

Doesn’t work. I don’t get any notifications even though I set them up. The app lags all the time and I get notifications from games I don’t want. Lasts years app was way more efficient

Brutal!. Clearly designed by a four year old. Can’t switch from group to group or men to women.

Great app, but no notifications. While the content is easy to see, app is easy to maneuver through, notifications stopped working about 5 subversions ago; notifications haven’t worked since about 2018. Fix that, and I’ll upgrade the rating to 5 stars

Shocking step backward. A different app every year is already silly but this one doesn’t even work. No games, not formatted for iPad and basically unusable. Really deserves 0 stars. Deleted.

A complete mess!. Why? The previous version of the app worked well enough and had some distinguishing features, such as voice goal announcements. For whatever reason, IIHF decided to launch a new app that removes this functionality and is clunky and temperamental, often incapable of refreshing to update scores. On top of this, the app release was a failure. Instead of updating the existing app, it simply stopped working, forcing users to seek out the new 2020 app. Bottom line: poor launch plan, poor app design, a step backwards, and no iPad version (which they had with the previous app).

The app no longer works. Please fix the app, it doesn’t load when I went to the women’s world’s it wouldn’t load this needs to be fixed so everyone can follow the women’s word hockey championship later this month.

Dan Courneyea. Excellent app for following IIHF EVENTS, SCORES and all STATS. Easy to maneuver through to find information.

Trash. Nothing loads. And it says Canada beat Finland 4-1 today?????

Completely Useless. Can not get any information on Men’s tournament, only Women’s 😡

Where is the W18 tourney?. I cannot find how to get to the actual world junior tournament that is happening right now. So confused.

Awesome App. Spot on app… has everything and anything about every tournament going on, complete with rosters stats, highlights - you name it, the app’s got it.

Boxscore. Awful app to quickly see who got the goals and points points! Need to scroll through the summary. Doesn’t keep track of ice time per player! Stay away

Confusing App.. I find this app pretty hard to navigate. Generally takes me a few minutes to find what I’m looking for.

Doesn’t work. The app does nothing on my iPhone XR. Just sits there with a blue screen. The link for app support takes you to the landing page of the IIhF website. Poor design and planning for the start of the annual junior tournament. Very disappointed!!!!

fixes needed. live scoring is working, but notifications don’t seem to be working for me; and can you fix the Statistics section so that the lowest (not the highest) goals against average at the top?

Poor App. Major lag with live games. Takes a while to update the standings. And have noticed a couple of times the app was loading last years results. Need to improve for next year.
