Makes you think. If you are looking for a game that requires actual concentration and thinking skills, this is the game for you. It uses a higher level of vocabulary than most word games, and, because of the shaping, requires you to anticipate prefixes, suffixes, tense, etc. Simply put, it forces you to think.

Great Game. I have only been playing this game for a few days and, while I assume it will get harder as you continue up the levels (I certainly hope so!),it is a nice change from the rest of the word games I play. So far I haven’t gotten far enough along for it to be challenging but I’m looking forward to the day that comes!

Engaging game.. I am use on the lower levels still but enjoy the game. I try to find as many extra words before I go for the ones in the category to make it more challenging. A daily puzzle would be fun, like some of the other games by this developer. Relaxing and not too hard, yet.

Wordscapes. I find it so much fun looking and finding words that are in and among the actual words to be found in the puzzle. The time I spend with this app is simply relaxing; it is a very calming time. My happy hour after a long work day.

Two in one. I like that it’s more than just a word search. You get to find all the extra words that don’t get highlighted. And just when you think you found them all, another catches your eye! I really enjoy this game.😊

Outstanding game for brain power. This game keep our mind very elect and busy while playing. It will increase our brain power to find out new words other than the reply... hence you can not divert your mind for other activity simultaneously, which ultimately train you concentrate more and more..

Word Fun!!!. This WORD game is fun, fast and dazzling! It adds dimension in the way the words are aligned. Having different categories for each “subject” makes this game move along in an interesting way! You never know what is next! Really fun! Thank you for this great game!!!

February 2021 Crashes over and over. For 2-3 days, Word Shapes crashes over and over during the opening of the game. All my other games are normal, so I think it’s a bug or whatever in the app. Hope you fix this soon because the game is good when it works.

ErgdorfEn. Luv the game but every time an ad comes up for word search the game freezes up and I can’t get out of the ad. Sometimes it freezes for 1 or 2 days. Pls check into this! Thnx

No Ads!. I love the game. I have most of People Fun games. I purchased no ads in all of them. Why oh why is that feature not in this game!?! The ads are constant and at times, difficult to get out of. Press the X. Goes to App Store. Very hard to play a game that is one huge annoyance. The reviewers that say it’s no big deal to have the ads are truly puzzling to me. When can I choose to rid myself of the curse of constant ads and enjoy this game ???

Best way to fall asleep. This is a really great way to relax your mind and calm down right before sleep. Love it! Finding extra words for bonuses is my favorite part, like an extra challenge during each level. Not a waste of space.

Best graphics. You knocked it out of the park with the graphics on this game! As funny as it may sound, all of the colors and the graphics make me smile while I am enjoying the game. Thanks a lot for your time and effort in giving us something great. By the way I am nearly 74 years old and still Learning!

Too many ads. So far I like the game and it could be one of my favorites, but there are way too many ads. I looked for a way to purchase the game to eliminate ads but didn’t see this option. I’ll stay with it for a while, but will probably end up deleting it if there isn’t a solution to reduce ads. I like to play for my enjoyment and relaxation, not to constantly be interrupted with ads. I’m a longtime user of Wordscapes by this same maker and frequently participate in the tournaments.

Fun games…a challenge. I am enjoyingWordshapes very much, but now that I have played quite a long time, I am seeing repeats of categories. As I remember most of the games I have played, this is now much less challenging…..we need new categories! I do not want to be bored!!

This game is good. I been playing a couple minutes and I have in the 100’s on brilliance and it is hard but when you start :P too easy I highly recommend this if you are a puzzle person or you like word puzzle games. Good job Developers! like your game! You should download it in my point of view, try it, the game is very addicting and good and it is very fun.

Fun Memory Association. This is, in my personal opinion, the best game I have seen for fun and memory. It utilizes the association of words, and we learn by association. It also enhances the memory of spelling and reading words probably known, but perhaps infrequently used. The topics may refresh thoughts of pleasant days now, and past as well.

WordShapes. This is fun and not too easy. I was going to play a couple and delete because I thought I would be bored. Instead I keep playing and enjoy keeping my brain active especially now during the “stay at Home” mandate

Fun Challenge!. This game is “page turning!” I can’t wait for the next one to start. I like how each word can go in multiple directions & how the hidden words are Bonus Words. I am an older adult but plan on using this with a student that I am tutoring. I am sure that this will encourage him & help him with his Reading lessons. It also helps me relax at the end of the day or fill time while waiting in line etc. I am glad that I saw this ad & installed this right away!

Another great game!!!. Another challenging game from the makers of Wordscapes. It seems easy at first and then it amps up the challenge to find words. This is my fourth game I play simultaneously from the game maker. I look for the challenges that are hosted each day in each game to compete against others.

My favorite word game. At level 111, paid to remove ads, knowing I will keep coming back to this game. Just the right level of difficulty keeps it interesting but still winnable. I like the category heading that gives you some guidance to avoid simply guessing, and somehow makes it quite enjoyable.

The paid version is enjoyable. As with most apps with “in-app” purchases the developers are looking to keep you from being able to share the nice version of their app with your family members. So, not in love with that part. I can’t stand the ads and there are SO many OBNOXIOUS ads on the free version. I decided I play it enough to free myself of the ads but glory, I feel taken advantage of.

Concept is fun but needs more categories. This is a fun time wasting game however after a while the categories tend to repeat themselves which gets boring. I think there should be more ways to earn coins for hints or make the hints cost less. If they would fix these two things it would be five stars!

Good game. Fun with some ads but they aren’t obnoxious because most are short. I have deleted other word games for insisting you purchase points you collected during play; so far this game hasn’t done this. Add to your points by finding extra words. So far I have not been solicited to buy anything; if I had, would have given less than 5 stars.

Love the game. Love the game...hate the ads. It’s really enjoyable to find the words, even extra words. I’m a 44 yr old woman needing to sharpen my memory. These games definitely do that for me. They teach me patience as well, since every couple levels you have to si lt through more game ads!

Crashes constantly - help!. I love this game, especially finding all the “extra” words. BUT there are bugs and they are driving me crazy! I used to play the free version, and the game would freeze a lot, but there were enough times when I could play the game uninterrupted to make it enjoyable. Then I decided to try removing the ads and see if that helped - and it did, briefly, before completely crashing out in a minute or less, every single time. Now I’ve paid for a game that I can’t play at all! I’ve never had this trouble with other People Fun games, so I have no idea what’s going on. Please fix this!

Word Shapes is unique. What I like about this game is that you are finding words that go up, down, across, etc. But one word might go two spaces down, then one space across, then two spaces up, etc. It is more of a challenge this way.

Word Shapes. I am enjoying this game very much! If you hate ads there is a one time option to pay to get rid of them. They had not become terribly annoying but I am glad to no longer deal with them. Wasn’t too pricy to lose the ads. Challenging fun game / trick is to also find as many extra words as you can as it helps earn you extra coins to use in the game. Great way to pass the time. Would recommend.

Great game!. WordShapes is a wonderful offshoot of Wordscapes. I find it to be almost meditative—although I challenge myself to get as many bonus words as possible, it’s fairly low key. In addition the words chosen for the themes are often really interesting. There aren’t many adds which is a definite plus! So I highly recommend you check it out!!

The only problem.... The only problem I’ve come across since I started the game is you need to solve so many levels for a miserly 50 coins. What if for some reason you run across a level that you just can’t do. If you want to buy anything it’s 100 coins I believe. That goes fast. Please do something to help us out. Coins for each level then a lump sum at the end. Thank you.

Fun game. At first I thought it was going to be to easy to play, but I was surprised by the 100th game, or so it started to get a little more challenging where I had to stop and think, for a minute about the subject and then it started to get fun . I really have enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. I can’t wait until it starts to get real hard .

A little hint for all who don’t know this...... I have been playing this on my smartphone for awhile now & in the beginning I didn’t realize that I could challenge myself by searching for extra words that had nothing to do with the puzzle theme & then when I had found all I could, I could use the “tornado “ to mix the letters & try some more! I love doing this & seeing how many I can get before I actually do the words that they want you to find. Makes it that much more fun & challenging, as the puzzles are fairly simple.

Great Game!. Enough to keep me interested day after day. Great puzzles, categories, and makes me think. I like the colors as well. When I play a game I don’t want it so hard I get frustrated. My goal is stimulating my brain without stress. WordShapes is just right for this goal.

Shaping up to be a great game!. This game has a lot of potential - it’s easily addictive and challenges you just enough where it makes you think but just before you want to throw your hands up in frustration. I do have a suggestion though- having a daily challenge would be fun, or even a month long challenge to unlock different color pallet options (like pastel colors !)

Short Ad Times. Just love this word game. You don’t have to spend bunches of money to keep playing. The ads aren’t as long as almost every other game & you can play 2-3x before an ad pops up. In short, you actually spend more time playing the game. Yeah!!!

Fun but inaccurate. The game is fun but sometimes the answers are not related to the topic at all. Although it’s still usually easy to find the answers, I wish the topic and answers were more accurately connected. For example, one topic was Antarctica and 2 of the answers were “evergreen” and “elk.” Neither of which can be found in Antarctica currently. Although evergreens may have been present prehistorically, they still aren’t something often related to Antarctica. This was one of a good handful of poorly chicane topics. Other then that (which really doesn’t matter that much) the game is fun and enjoyable and I give 4 stars.

Word Shapes. I find the game challenging yet quite enjoyable. There’s a good variety of topics and subjects, many of which I’m learning. Word Shapes is good when you want to relax on a rainy day or to take quiet time. I also enjoy that there’s no competition with others, it’s just you!

Great App. So far, so good! I hope it is everything it is touted to be. I enjoy playing the different games. This game appears to increase your thinking skills, keep your mind in a stage of learning, etc. I hope it delivers! So far, I am really enjoying it.

Relaxing and fun. I enjoy this game because it does challenge you. Plus at the same time it’s relaxing. It doesn’t have time clock to race against which I like. But they need a way to get more money. Lower extra words to 10 to get money. Come up with something to get extra money.

WordShapes is Refreshing. The game is quick to play, fun, challenging, progressive, and not as easy as it appears. It makes you think about the categories. Some items are obvious and easy to find while others require some thought processing. The hidden bonus words are a nice touch.

Relaxing Diversion. This is a really relaxing game with gorgeous photography and colorful graphics. It’s a unique take on a word find game and very enjoyable. Being elderly, I can’t stand timed games and stress in my recreational activities. There’s enough of that in life. I end up deleting so many other apps that I download when I realized how tense they make me. This is fun. I know children would enjoy it as well.

Love It With A Couple Caveats. Well it is grand fun but I spent the last 3 days stuck in a loop of the same 4 levels and near constant crashing. Literally crashed as fast as I tried to open it. (It didn’t stop the ads though.) Occasionally I’d get to play a few words and it would crash again. I work in tech. I tried all the usual troubleshooting techniques. Finally tonight I have it working normally. LOL If this is the developers way of getting a review written that isn’t very fun.

So far, very good.. I really love this game. I only have one thing to ask, can you please make some levels very hard levels? I was starting to feel like all of the levels are just as easy. For example, Ultra Hard Level Coming Up, Skip? Then, you could choose to skip it or not. My favorite part of this game is the brilliance level. Thank you for creating this game. I’m 13, and I want to play games that make me smarter, not just kill time and this WORDS 😏😏😏 wonders for that. I know, I’m sorry, I just couldn’t help myself. To PUNNY.

Good game. With strict parents this is a perfect game and helps my reading and writing skills honestly I would recommend it but there are commercials but those are too annoying if you have a life but all of us are in quarantine so none of us do👁👄👁

So much fun. Of the various “word search” type games, this one is by far my favorite. I love the challenge of finding as many “extra” words as possible before actually solving the puzzle. What makes this game stand out is that it goes beyond the mere forward and backward searches, but includes angles, u-turns, and even spirals. Get this game!

One of my favorite games. Moving on to level 511 and still loving it. Just fun. Not too impossibly difficult. I seem to have more trouble than enjoyment with the typical word search circle of letters, and get frequently stumped. Wordscapes Shapes is just right for me to enjoyably move from one level to the next. The topic at the top of the screen serves as a guide and general clue and you just take it from there.

Wordscapes and this!. Both wordscapes and this app favorite games for free. Wordscapes has tournaments every weekend and my team got first place out of 100 teams AND I got 3rd among 50 this past weekend! You win prizes to help you find words when you are stuck. Plus competition is a thrill as we all take it seriously lol. This app has ads but not a lot. My wordscapes never shows me ads but I’m a level 1,300 in that one and buy my coin bank for $2.00 on occasion so maybe that’s the difference.

Pretty Good Word Game. I am already playing a few other word games, but thought I would check this one out. Glad I did because it is an extra challenge to find the right words that are wrapped around the board. Neat concept! Definitely relaxing so far, but I feel sure as we continue to reach other levels, the search becomes harder. Love those games!

Relaxing. I find this game relaxing. Not too challenging but I actually add an extra element to it that makes it more so. Along with finding the words in the puzzle you get points for other words you find. After finding so many the meter “explodes “and gives you coins for these extra words. I like to try to avoid the words I’m supposed to find until I find enough of the wrong words to get the coin explosion. Then I quickly solve the puzzle. Fun.

Fun game. Kinda too easy but I challenge myself by trying to find lots of bonus words. Ads are short and not too annoying. I play whenever I have like 10 min.

Awesome!. I am a big fan of this game cause the graphics are really good and all the pretty backgrounds! And so much free and fun and extremely relaxing! Lacks Geographical knowledge. It’s a good game - my grandchildren love it BUT what an incredible mistake in one of the topics - Antarctica! Antarctica by the way is in the Southern Hemisphere. The words were almost all relevant to the ARCTIC!! (Tundra, Elk, Caribou, Deciduous, Evergreen etc.) None of these occur in the Antarctic! Until this, it could have got 5 Stars. What an unbelievable mistake!

Mind challenge made easy !. This game challenges you in such a way that you are enjoying the game so much that you don’t realise that your brain is being tested on various levels. It is different to any word game that I have played prior. Have fun 😊

Would be way better if…. … the same levels weren’t recycled. It’s the same problem with WordScapes - the levels are repetitive. In this game, it’s the same level with the same words. I’ve done “hat types” and “types of pasta” and “is hot” several times, not to mention all the other levels that I’ve done more than once or twice. Seems really lazy. All the WordScape games are like this, and it’s frustrating because I do like these games, but they all hit a point where there are no longer any new games - just the same levels being recycled.

Having Fun!. WordShapes really works my mind, it’s got fun words to do and great levels. It’s appropriate for kids and is not one of those games that teach you nothing. This game is a wonderful creation. I enjoy playing this game and recommend to all.

Unresponsive and Offensive. The publisher does not respond to messages. This game is missing words. The stereotypes they use in their Canada theme are ignorant and offensive.

Easy, predictable, mindless. It’s a fun game for killing time. Great for de-stressing as it’s not difficult and fun. If you have a large vocabulary, you won’t find it challenging. Only frustration is that it doesn’t accept all English words.

Both easy & not so easy. The theme words are easy to find. The other short words can be a challenge, and the last few on the way to the bonus require real effort. More fun than a lot of these games.

Addicting. This game is very addictive. Luckily, there’s nothing to buy! It’s good for brain health because of the eye-hand motion + being able to recognize words spelled backwards, wiggly, and straight.

Great game. I like the game a lot but it has way too many very long ads. The easier rounds only take a few second to play, but the ads last 30-60 seconds between each round. It really takes away the pleasure of the game.

Very nice. So far the game is very visually appealing and the puzzles are simple without being boring. I like that we can save words that don’t belong in the category, but I’d like being able to find words even after a part of the other word has been highlighted as the answer.

Freeze and crash. I have several word games that I play each day. Wordsmith#1I’ve had this game for over a year. It has always been a little glitchy, but for the last two days it has been impossible! It freezes, crashes, or refuses to load. Please send an update that fixes this issue or I will need to delete the game.

Preshis. I enjoy playing this game. It’s challenging sometimes to find the right spelling of a word. I like it too cuz there is no stress trying to beat someone. I recommend this game to those who like to find the words all scrambled up. 😊

Word shapes. This is a fun game! It starts out very easy, then when you're patting yourself on the back, it begins to challenge you. The only thing that disturbs me is that you have to use 50 of your coins to "shuffle"; that should be free.

Amazing. There is so much to like about this game. I play several hours a day. The graphics and colors are awesome. Finding the word is easy in one game and difficult in another. It keeps me engaged and is lots of fun.

Thought provoking. I like this game because you really need to look at all the ways our English language is spelled. It’s not just by sound. You have had o know how the word is spelled.

So much fun. I love word games and this is a favorite! I like that when you spot a word it changes color. I also really like that you get credit for the words you find that do not got the puzzle category.

Igloos in Antarctica!?. I was enjoying this game pretty much, though it’s far from “most challenging “ as it was advertised. But then I got to words supposedly related to Antarctica and found igloo, elk, grizzlies....come on, people! Every kindergarten kid knows better than that. Aren’t there any fact checkers on the staff? Or at least Siri? We have enough ignorance out there. Deleted the game.

Addictive in a Good Way👏🏾. Downloaded it 5 days ago and have played it EVERYDAY for hours at a time. Nice way to wind down at night(as I’m doing now) or when you need a mental beak during the day!!

Greatest Gane. I just started playing this game and I can’t seem to put it down. I’m giving you 5 stars would give you more if I could. Only problem is the ads but I can by pass them

Ok but Too Slow Moving. It is ok but the point count is way too little. Make it more exciting with bigger point prizes and power ups to use in the games. 25 points for completing a level is really chintzy. 100 points per level completion would wow it and make it more exciting. Giving power ups as well would be great too.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!. I’m really enjoying this game! It’s different from all of the other word games on my phone. I downloaded it a little while ago and I’m suddenly on level sixty something! Time flies when you’re having fun!

Problem. I love this game. However, I have found and highlighted several words which have been denied. But, if I switch the puzzle around, the same words I highlighted are the correct answer. Very frustrating.

Relaxing. I love this game. So relaxing. But! There is a big gold circle with numbers in the center after you solve a puzzle. Does anyone know what that is for or what it means? It is not for coins. Thanks.

Mesh. Very much fun for now! Most of these types of games get seriously hard after while and then I delete them because I like to win. Hopefully WordShapes will remain an “I can do it” type of game!

Best game ever!. The reason why I love this game is because it is so fun and relaxing. (Even my dad plays this game.) The point is that I really really really really enjoy playing this game. You should definitely play this game.

Relaxing,. This is a relaxing game unlike so many others. Progressively gets harder and I actually feel a sense of accomplishment when I complete one! This is one I will return to again and again.

The best of all the PeopleFun games. I have all of the games by PeopleFun downloaded and play them daily (with the exception of the few I’ve finished all levels). This one is THE BEST of all of their games! I can’t stop playing! Super fun! Love it! ☺️🥰

Wordshape. I love game puzzle word. I learn new word different. I try my best in mind sense common is different. Not easy for me I try practice gas and learn more things. I keep games learn new words 🤷‍♀️🙋‍♀️😊

WordShapes. Quite entertaining. Definitely takes a minute on the higher levels but not frustrating.

Addictive. I started playing and can’t stop. As suggested in another comment I look for extra words before I actually select the words that are correct.

Cute game.. I Ike the graphics and backgrounds. Starts off nice and easy. Small amount of ads but plan to purchase the no ad version to support the developers.

Lots of fun. Gets more complicated as you go, which was a relief to see. I am enjoy this new twist on a word game. As their other games are, ads occur between levels...maybe a tad more frequently

Bought No Ads...still getting ads 😡. Great game....however, I purchased the NO ADS option and I’m still getting ads! I’ve written emails with no response. Poor customer service...I guess it doesn’t matter how good the game is when you pay for something and don’t get it.

Needs to Sync❣️. My rating will go back to 5 ⭐️ when this app will sync! Love this game and play it daily! Paid to get the ads removed and it’s definitely worth it! That being said, please do an update so that this syncs between devices! I started on my iPad, so now I cannot play on my iPhone without repeating levels :-( Please, please update 🙏

Wordscapes. I love it. I had to be careful not to hit the 50s, 100s and 200s below and that took some time, but it’s my go-to of all my games. And you don’t have ads with every win. That’s big.

My thinking is back!. This game will keep my mind thinking about the different types of words that will actually keep be playing for long periods of time. Thank you for providing me with these puzzle games. Thank you.

Fun. Calming Relaxing the only thing… I’ve read other reviews and I’ve gotten one ad and l’m on level 100 so … Don’t know if it’s changed but at least it’s not like Wordscapes 1 level = 1 ad

Relaxing & Brain Stimulating at the same time!. I’m just starting with this app tonight. Quickly at Level 20, but I’m guessing it’ll get more challenging as I go. If 5 Stars were available, I’d give them as my Rating right off the bar!

Very fun!!!!. I really enjoy this game because it makes you think a little differently. You have to kind of think outside the box. I love that it gives you a clue for the set!!! It’s a great game to get you thinking, it does do that to me, at least!!!

A relaxing game for word puzzle lovers. It never gets extremely difficult, so it’s good for just chilling with a little challenge. Only four stars because after a while (like in the hundreds) the puzzles start to repeat

Word shapes. This is so much fun. Not only for young people but also for older people. I'm 80 years old and I find it so good because it helps me keep myself current in keeping my mind active.

Great game but…. It’s a pretty good game, very entertaining. I like how you can search for words other than the answers and get points for them. But not all words are recognized such as: true, pint, bin and others that aren’t coming to mind.

I love the game but it repeats. As I said I love the game but most of the questions or should I say puzzles repeats itself if you don’t notice that and I’m pretty far into the game but it repeats a lot of puzzles and I thought I was bugging but I wasn’t still love the game I try to intrigue my mind a little bit more please

A Refreshing Game!. I really like word games; I’ve played games with horizontal and vertical words, but (this) game is special because you can get credit for finding words in the oddest shapes on the grid. Bravo to whoever created this word game!

Best word game out there!. My husband and I are totally addicted! It’s not a hard game and keeps your interest. We just love that it gives you a clue what to look for and you can really rack up the coins! Best word game so far and wonderful for most all ages.

WordShapes. So far, it’s a great, relaxing game and at times, can really make you think. Love the colors, the graphic and the fact that bonus words count. The ads aren’t bad at all. Overall, it’s a great word game will loads of fun and very little frustration. Great job guys

Great game to pass time. Great game to pass the time! Keeps your mind sharp too. No pressure involved. You don’t have to only be focused on the game. You progress at whatever rate and don’t get penalized, or loose, if someone else distracts you.
