Cute and Motivating!. I love this little guy! It motivates me to move even when I’d rather be lazy (who could stare at that crying face and not get up!?). The simple design is perfect for the average user and the new updates are amazing. Thank you for this fantastic app! One suggestion is to have the ability change the step amount. Around level 30 it gets very difficult to meet the step requirements especially during quarantine.

Fun watch app w/ some room for improvement. It’s a fun app for the watch and my kids are getting a kick out of watching it with me. I really like the update with games to store hearts for later, BUT if I try to play a game while also running the workout app, it kills the workout app. I’m a jogger and want to be able to collect my hearts while also tracking my time and distance in the workout app. If the two could be running in parallel that would be awesome!

Nomi keeps dying if watch battery dies. Update; made it to 33 days, had full health and had to connect my watch to my new iPhone after it had a software issue and needed replaced. Didn’t even do anything to the watch besides pair it to the new phone and it made it completely restart my nomi. Like restart like it was a new app. My watch wasn’t even restarted or reset, it was just paired to my new phone. My nomi had 3 stars when I went to bed last night, woke up this morning to my watch dead, charged it an hour only to find my nomi dead. This is the 8th time this has happened. If my nomi is full health, my watch dies and it takes less than 5 hours to be back on, like it dies at work or while running errands, then nomi dies also. They should stop the hearts fading and nomi dying if the watch is turned off or dead. I’ve never made it past 23 days because my watch dies and nomi dies soon after. Only reason he’s ever died is because my watch died so I plug it in while I’m sleeping. Watch isn’t even powered on when he dies.

Cool but could use some work. I actually liked this app but recently pet got to around 63 days and it seemed the hearts just went so fast. I was on my way to work and had one full heart which was ok cause I almost had my ring filled up. Check him 30 minutes later to give him a heart and he is dead!!!! I was so mad, I really worked hard to keep him going and for that to happen. Not sure if it was a glitch or what. Wish you could save up hearts or revive your pet somehow.

Too Good of an App? Possibly. Nomi is possibly one of the best fitness motivation apps on the market, but the enticing nature brings one fatal flaw: a deep emotional attachment to an adorable creature who can die in a day. I’ve worked on building my pet for years (590 days to be exact) and I hate to see him die after just hours of inactivity. Basically, all I’m asking for is a pause button to save my progress, or a way to store energy beyond the three hearts. Other than that, this is a wonderful app! Would definitely recommend to anyone with an Apple Watch.

Love it😍 But…... I think 🤔 the concept is excellent and keeps people accountable for their own progress in how they manage to keep the pet alive daily. My one issue is that if I have done the work/workout throughout the day and filled up the heart(s) why can Nomi not feed himself? This is me moving all day everyday in my life with my watch on, but I really don’t have the time to tickle and watch him do tricks just to eat the heart. My day does not stop because he is hungry or has a heart waiting for me to tap for him to eat. This is something that your team needs to look into especially when life gets really hectic. I’m apart of an Apple Fitness Group & that is the General consensus with many; We are doing workouts, taking care of family, self-care, working just to have this thing Die because of the tap of the screen. 👎🏽

So cute!. This app is so adorable! With working from home often, the little guy encourages me to get up and go for a walk a few times a day. It’s very simple and sweet. To answer another reviews questions about how it works. It seems like you can only get one heart at a time. So if you go for a run, you’ll fill up one heart. You will still have to go for a walk later to fill up the heart again (hit the step goal) to feed him again. Overall, such a cute light hearted app. I can’t wait to see what she evolves into, and other future enhancements!

In love with this App!. This is my first ever review. I think this app warrants one. I grew up playing with a tamagotchi so this somehow brings me back to my childhood. I think the app is great and overall have no complaints. My only suggestion is to make the app more interactive. Like one of the reviewers mentioned, there should be some more things we can do to interact with our pet other than just feeding it. I know this app is growing so I am looking forward to the future updates!

It's Awesome! Wish it had more animations.. It's Like the old school tomigochi pets, it's like having a Pokémon or Digimon on your wrist that forces you to think about working-out or else your little buddy dies. And you get to a point where you really don't want your little Nomi to die. I love it! My hopes is that they come up with more animations, like when you pet Nomi it does the same cute shimmy, but that gets old after a few times of doing it. It would be nice to see more interactive animations. Maybe having Nomi do tricks like a flip or rollover or somehow teaching Nomi something new. And perhaps there can be other forms of workouts that help feed Nomi as well. If those things can be added, this app would be such a fun interactive piece that I wouldn't want to live without.

Cute little buddy, stay active so they don’t die! :). I’ve kept my Nomi alive for 95 days and counting - it has definitely motivated me to walk throughout the day or be active when I don’t quite have the motivation. Overall, well worth the minimal cost because it’s cute and fun. Love that there are continual updates and it keeps getting better. Suggestions for the developer: is there a way to show time left before a heart gets empty? Or a reminder like “one hour left before Nomi dies” 🤣I would love to interact with it more somehow or would love if it read my exercise minutes to earn a heart for the “game” without having to start the exercise on the app. It really screws up my workout tracking / data to only set it for the 7-9 min at a time. Like if I could start a run and at the end, Nomi would tell me I earned 2 hearts worth based on HR during the run. Update: I’m now on my 3rd Nomi and they’re just so cute and motivating. Sadly, the last one died at 147 days and I didn’t get the “one hour left” notification - I think because I was asleep and watch was set to Apples new do-not-disturb sleep setting. Excited for the new evolution paths now with my newest Nomi!! Love the updates, great job!! Can’t wait to find some friends!

So cute!. I downloaded Nomi not too long after it was released. I love using it to motivate my steps because using the rings as a motivator was getting a little steal. It hits right in the nostalgia feels (hey all you tomagotchi fans!) It has cute little animations and fun surprises the longer you are able to keep it alive. The developers are also really great about listening to feedback and release updates after taking things into consideration. Such a fun addition to the watch!

Cute and motivating!. I love nomi and how it will often push me to go just a little further! I do wish hearts stacked, as others have said, so that I don’t need to keep checking in the middle of a workout or face the sadness of doing 2-3 hearts worth of effort and only getting 1 fed. It would also be really nice if there were an option for a rest/recovery/sick day every once in a while, since I’ve most often had a nomi die on me on a day I SHOULDNT be moving (like a bad migraine day) and wish I could do what’s right for my body without killing the lil guy.

Loved Nomi at first.. I have this issue where my Nomi Quick Game will immediately stop when I have almost finished meeting the bar goal. I have contacted the developers multiple times with no answer. I imagine putting in almost 10-13 minutes of high intensity, only for the game to stop. This is extremely frustrating. I want all of the Sushi’s I missed because of this. The developers don’t respond to issues emailed to them. I don’t want a generic response. I want every single Sushi I should have earned back. If they cannot figure out how many that is, I have kept track….I am up to 5 missed sushi’s.

Becomes almost impossible to keep alive. Deleted the app on day 95 - was trying to get to the 100th day evolution but I ran out of food & energy. It becomes almost impossible to get enough energy to keep them fed all day once they get to higher evolutions - I wore my watch from before this thing would wake up to well past midnight & couldn’t get enough energy to keep them fed & I’m a very active person, including walking to/from work everyday. Work out feature bugs consistently, it has a problem maintaining read on your heart rate & more times than not I will not get a single heart from an hour of being on the stairclimber with my heart rate well above 130. So sad - RIP

One Big Miss - Otherwise A Blast. I love this app. It’s extremely motivating and has got me moving...But why can’t I use all my steps? If I go for an hour run and get 8,000 steps, I can only feed nomi a single time. I shouldn’t need to feed him throughout my workout. I get the goal of getting users to check-in and feed nomi on a regular basis, but I shouldn’t be penalized for getting a big bunch of steps at once. Maybe read workouts and allow a full heart recharge if you got after it? Thanks for the app. I really do like it minus this one thing.

Fun Watch App. I find this app to be fun. There are a few things I would like to mention though. You can only have one heart saved. If you workout for miles and forget to give a heart during, you only earned one heart. Also, it doesn't update live. You have to go into the Activity app, and then back to Nomi to update it. I'm not sure what the refresh interval is. Also, Nomi should sleep when the watch is off. I woke up to an almost dead Nomi often. (I saw an update coming from a review response for this! Thank you!) Edit: I like the notifications in the new update. This is a solution to only getting one heart during my walks and forgetting to check and feed him during. Thanks! Nomi now sleeps for six hours in the new update. Thanks! Also, I’m not a fan of the Complication icons, the middle or the corner. I would like the full body, but small of course. I don’t like the zoomed in face. It also looks low quality at certain phases. Also, I would like it to have a bar for the Infograph Watch Face. Like the Rain one, with a number of hearts, and have the bar be one third for each heart. One more thing. I’m trying out Active Energy. After evolving, the icon for steps increase, instead of calories.

More features please. I am on day five which means I just got my first evolution! One thing off the bat I’m not a fan of is that I have NO idea what any of the evolution paths look like so I had to guess which path I wanted to go down. Can there please be an image released of what they all look like so I can figure out if I want to feed my nomi 3,4, or 5 times a day. Also, the app is cool, but it’s a $2 app and there isn’t enough to do, in my opinion. I cannot customize how my nomi looks, I cannot play any games with him (games are basically just exercise challenges to get hearts to feed your nomi, you don’t actually play WITH your nomi. It leads me to ask, why do I care about this creature or calling it mine if I can’t even do anything with it?

Very cute!. This is a darling app, reminiscent of a Tamagotchi. You take steps to keep your nomi alive. I appreciate that the devs have temporarily decreased the number of steps needed due to many people being home to practice social distancing right now. There’s even a complication for your watch face! And... this app is NOT subscription based! Two feature requests for devs: -I do a lot of indoor cycling (especially now with the pandemic), which is an activity that doesn’t generate steps. It would be cool to somehow get credit for those workouts toward hearts (maybe through calculating the calorie equivalence or something?) -I’d love a complication that could go in the corner of the watch face!

Fun app but….. I’m 71 and was a couch potato so when I got my Nomi I was loving that it was getting me up and moving. I just walk to earn hearts to feed her though. I’m now up to 2500 steps to feed her but my goodness, she has to eat about 4 times to keep her happy! And I’m only on the 4th level. I know if the steps keep increasing 500 steps at every level, I’m not going to be able to keep it alive which makes me sad. Seems like I’m already walking so much I don’t have time for a life! Can’t you make a way to level off for us seniors? Maybe a different setting for seniors? Also, it runs several minutes behind on syncing the steps and doesn’t let you know when you have enough to feed it so you don’t know when you have filled the heart without pausing your workout to wait for it to catch up or you walk more than it takes but you don’t get credit for it. If you walk over the amount to fill, it should count towards your next heart. I don’t want my Nomi to die ! Help please!

So cute and so worth the 1.99. I’ve literally had this little game on my watch for a day and I love it soooo much soo cutee and a wonderful way to keep you moving because you don’t want your little friend to die I just hope I don’t have any technical difficulties with it and he die then but so far so good will keep my review up to date too so you know

Heart bank. I ADORE my little buddy and my kids actually ask to borrow my watch to feed my watch pet. I just wish there was a way to bank the hearts when I've filled them and it's not hungry or to turn 3-5 hearts earned into a snack. Like if I go the day and don't get a chance to feed the little dude but have earned 5-10 hearts from working all day long I shouldn't only have one heart to feed them once I can or if I've forgotten my watch for a day but had earned 10 hearts the day before I should have a snack or two banked from the excess the day before. It almost feels like getting punished for not being an athlete or taking a day to rest.

Love it!. I love this app for my watch. It’s so much fun watching my Nomi grow, and evolve. However, like some have mentioned, it would be nice if it would automatically “feed” the Nomi, instead of having to manually go in and do it. With my job, I am on my feet and moving constantly but I only remember to feed it now and then. Other than that, this is so much fun! It’s like the 2020’s version of the Tomagatchi from the 90’s! 😅

Customization options?. As much as I enjoy this app, I would love it even more if it included little things like accessories and having the option to change the environments. It would be a good idea to implement a coin system where you get coins if your nomi is still alive by the end of the day. And we could use those coins to buy little accessories like hats and to unlock backgrounds. Just a thought as someone who loves being able to customize everything .

Fantastic Fitness based Tamagochi. This app is fantastic so far! I love tamagotchi/pet apps and there’s just not many options on the Apple Watch which really surprises me. A fitness based tamagotchi like app is genius. I agree with a lot of others though, having more interaction options with your “pet” to care for it would be a great addition! Personally I think 8 hours of sleep time would be nice too instead of only 6. Def will recommend this to friends and family with apple watches.

Update from last rating. I figured out how to play the game for hearts - I have grown my Nomi for 61 days now. I am curious if Nomi evolves past 60 days. I’ve noticed that it evolves every 10 days but when I got to day 60 - it remained the same. I wonder if that’s where it stops growing. If it is, I’d like to petition the developers to let it continue to evolve. It went from a blob to what looks like a young dragon that hovers. I’d like to see it do more - especially after I’ve worked so hard to keep it alive.

Cute. The app is very cute and a great motivator, but I do wish your Nomi’s health wouldn’t go down when your watch is on the charger. There are some days (especially the weekends) when I just don’t put my watch on. I’ve had two Nomis die because I left my watch on the charger all day and didn’t feed them. Or if you could get a notification on your phone reminding you to feed them when you don’t have your watch on.

Family Sharing NOT supported. Even though they say up to 6 people can use this app with family share that is a lie. This app does not show up for anyone under purchases including the person who purchased it. Also DO NOT gift this app to anyone! They have to use something other than an Apple Watch to redeem the gift and app WILL NOT show under their purchases on Apple Watch. Over all the app is fun and that’s why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Just wish they would be honest with their advertising of family sharing.

Lovely. Loving this little app. It brings back some memories for when I got my first tamagotchi. Crying and running early in the morning getting ready for school because I forgot to fed my pet before going to sleep. 14/10 brought back great memories. I wish it had more features it is pretty simple. But brings me joy seeing how evolves after a few days. I’m afraid to reaching the limit. Dear developers, are you planing on bringing more features or develop a new app seeing the joy you’ve brought to some of us?

Excellent Watch app!. Quick update: one thing I would love is if the hearts you earn saved up - right now, you have to remember to feed your Nomi when the heart ring is full, which can mean pausing in your workout. If you forget to do this, you could go through an entire workout and have burned enough calories for two or three hearts, but you still only get one. This app is adorable, fun, and motivates me to stay active throughout the day. The Tamagotchi-like critter is so cute, and I hate seeing it sadface, so I want to stay active to be able to keep feeding it. When I first got the app the only way to get hearts to feed the critter was using steps, which was pretty difficult with the current ‘stay at home’ restrictions (even though I’ve been exercising daily, my step count is terrible). However, the developer was very understanding and responsive, and quickly released an update allowing you to use calories instead. I love the app and really the only thing I can think of to improve it at this point would be to make it actually possible to pet the critter. (If it’s happy, you can tap it and it does a little happy nudge type movement, but you can’t give it scritches.) I’m not sure how feasible this is for a cute little watch app (don’t know how hard it would be to make it that interactive or whether the watch can even support such a thing), but it would be cute. TL;DR, if you’re a sucker for cute critters to motivate you to exercise, GET THIS APP!

Love this app so much but a few questions. I’ve been using this for about 2-3 weeks and can’t stop playing it. I have a few questions though how long does a single heart last roughly as sometimes I really have no clue how long I have with one heart. My second question would be while using the sushi you win from game modes do those count as feeding your pet which changes your average amount of feeding every day or do that not count at all as feeding and just fill a heart. Other then those questions I can’t get enough of this app looking forward to new updates and maybe new game modes possibly

Great app and meaningful updates. I downloaded this app when I saw it on Reddit and love it so far. The app developer is quick to respond with any issues experienced. The only issue I having to open the app to feed the heart while exercising. When I go out for my runs I have to pause and feed it. I wish there was a way to auto feed. This is really my only complaint and it’s not enough of a hassle for me to take away a star for the rating. I just saw that there were some updates for calories instead of steps which is great since I do a lot of biking and that is not counted. I just wish I could change that on my current nomi.

It’s cute but…. This app is super cute but it has a couple of things I wish were different. It would be great if your hearts were automatically applied to your nomi. I’m a nurse and I keep losing because I’m too busy to go into the app and click the heart. It almost becomes too tedious and I find I’m getting uninterested. Also, it’s the same nomi every time. Why isn’t there different looking ones? Again, it’s gets boring. It is cute and I try to keep it alive but there’s lots of room for improvement.

Great idea, poor execution. I really like the concept and I was very excited to download this app. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked very well in my experience. The games frequently freeze. The quick boogie fails to start about 20% of the time and the 3 heart game has failed to load every single time I’ve tried. I literally haven’t been able to make it work once. They claim you can add nomi to your watch face but it doesn’t show up in the list of available complications to add. The BIGGEST frustration for me is the poor notification system. I have NEVER received a notification to tell me my heart is full and I VERY FREQUENTLY don’t get notifications when my heart runs out which is even worse. I was at 3 full hearts yesterday and my nomi just died and I got zero notifications at all along the way. Like seriously, what the heck?!?! I worked hard to get my nomi to that point so I’m genuinely mad to have lost all that work due to poor programming. I don’t think I’ll be making another nomi unless they fix the notification system. The rest of my complaints are pretty manageable but the poor notification system makes this game unbearable for me.

Super Cute and Motivational.. I really enjoy the little Nomi. It keeps me motivated and reminds me to move, which is especially important during quarantine. It also fun for kids! My son loves to “pet” Nomi and feed it. My only issue is that my first Nomi just died today....while I was sleeping, not wearing my watch. I didn’t even know that was possible. I kept it alive for 32 days and then I woke up to find it dead. Super disappointing!! I think it should pause it’s feeding cycle while on a charger. Also, what happens if I get sick or have an injury? Does it just die? I guess so. It would be nice if there were an option to put Nomi in hibernation, or something like that. But really, overall it is cute and motivational.

I like it but it dies pretty easy.. I absolutely love this concept and it’s really cute. Unfortunately, I can only get the first evolution, if that, as I usually only wear my watch during the work week and then the Nomi dies during the weekend. So by Monday I have to start over. I know some people wear their watches every day but I’m not a fan of having a big ugly square on my arm all the time. :) so maybe in the future if Nomi can take a break, a nap, or visit/vacation during specific days, that would be lovely.

Everyone needs a Nomi. This is one of my absolute favorite Watch apps. I have tried other pet apps before but this is the best in my opinion. It’s quite simple but the design and concept are amazing. I have only had my Nomi for 4 days but I love feeding it and checking up on it. I’m just wondering, however, when it will evolve for the first time. Looking forward to it and I can’t wait to see new features in the future. Thank you so much for this!

great fun but it feels like its trying to kill itself. The app is great for the most part the animations are super cute but there are a couple things I have a problem with. the first is that it sleeps less than the recommended amount a person should be getting so in the morning my pet is already starving itself and probably has been for 2 or so hours. My second problem is in the step counting I dont fully know how the apple watch measures but I feel like the refresh in the app is very slow mine was stuck at 999 for 10 or so minutes while my pet was at 25% of one heart and I was worried that it would die before the app counted the 3 flights of stairs I had climbed post 999steps. the concept is great but I do hope that these small things will be polished.

Fun cute app, but there are a few issues. I love my Nomi and I love feeding it but there are some issues that I would love if they were resolved. The first issue I have is that my steps don’t stack. So if 1,000 steps get me one heart to feed Nomi, I might get busy with my kids and cleaning and get 2,500 steps. The issue is that I can only feed my Nomi one heart instead of two. I would love if I could gather multiple hearts before feeding my Nomi for when I get really busy. It is a little disheartening when I get 3,000 steps, remember to feed Nomi and I can only give it one heart. A second issue is that the Nomi step counter will sometimes be lower than what my Apple Watch is showing. Sometimes, I’ll take a walk and gain a lot of steps on my Apple Watch but the Nomi app won’t update and show all those steps. Finally, I don’t like that I have to wait until my next Nomi is born to implement updates to my Nomi. Overall, I really like this app, but these issues stress me out a little.

Super cute. I love that this app gets me moving. It’s fun to watch the nomi grow. I do have a couple of things that I think would make it better. I don’t like that I need to stand still and feed nomi and wait for the step counter to start counting again. I also don’t think the count is as accurate as it should be. The only other thing I would suggest is a sick option so your nomi doesn’t die if you get a cold and don’t feel like getting out of bed. Can you fix the glitch that doesn’t accurately reflect your steps? I don’t want my nomi to die again because it hasn’t kept up with my steps.

Update Ideas For Developers. I really enjoy this app a lot! I think it’s really helping me loose weight and get motivation. I have a few ideas that would be awesome for updates. -Feed friends or give their pets sushi rolls when hearts are low. -Nudge friends to let them know their pets hearts are low. -costumes you can earn by getting points -send messages to friends through app -mobile app added for bonus features -New games -more evolutions -better push notifications -special fruits that will keep hearts full for an entire day in case you want a day off to relax “unlocked through games” -fairy fruit that will save your pet from dying “unlocked through games also have your Nomi hang with a friend for the day to babysit and friend gets bonus items for taking care of your nomi”

Fun electronic pal. Update: glitch happened twice yesterday. RIP Timothy IV - 84 days old. Update: malfunction is happening even with the update on my watch. I’ve lost at least 7 extra hearts due to this glitch. Update: I manually forced an update on my watch and, fingers crossed, the quick boogie malfunction hasn’t happened yet. I’ve played four times and earned four hearts. Update: quick boogie is still malfunctioning. My heart rate averaged 150 during the entire 11 minutes and it still told me I lost. Update: played the quick boogie, I was on a rowing machine and my heart rate was well-above the target the ENTIRE time but it did not record it. So I quit halfway through and started over. It happened again. I did the whole thing this time, hoping that maybe the bar just wasn’t filling in, since there was a check mark in the bottom corner each minute. It still told me I lost and did not give me a heart. Hopefully my pet doesn’t die tomorrow when I know I’ll be unable to exercise. My nomi, Timothy IV (RIP Timothy Sr, Timothy Jr, and Timothy the third) is fun. It keeps me accountable because I really don’t want him to die. Those tears get me. Lol. It’s a lot less glitchy since I got a new watch.

A great little app, perfect for the watch. This is the perfect kind of app for the Apple Watch. Simple, fun, and motivational, playing to the strengths of the platform. Very appealing visuals and a clever concept; staying healthy yourself keeps your little buddy alive too. This isn’t the kind of thing that needs many features - the beauty is in its simplicity, and the very reasonable price reflects that - but further integration with the health app in some way (heart rate/exercise tracking) would be nice right now during these quarantine times when we’re still trying to exercise but can’t get those steps in. I also second other users ideas about a tiny bit more interactivity; everyone who plays this is going to instinctively try to poke/pet the little guy, and that tiny bit of extra interaction would go a long way. Overall, great app and I hope the developer continues to support it because it fills the perfect niche on the watch.

A great watch pet app with high potential. This is a fun little watch pet that brings back great memories of childhood tamagotchi days. The concept is superb to move around to feed Nomi as well as keeping the watch owner active and healthy. I left 4/5 stars as the highly interactive creator who responds very frequently has room to make this even better. More engaging interactions with Nomi would be so much fun such as bathing/cleaning and “flushing” if you will, after Nomi goes to the bathroom, especially when young. Watering Nomi as well as having a “medicine” option when Nomi gets sick. The hearts can count for feeding Nomi so that’s fine. Petting and being interactive with Nomi could fill a “cared for” type of gage. Lastly fun games we could play with Nomi itself, not just exercise could be fun. It new and I’m sure it’s complicated and takes time to add these types of interactions but none the less, it’s a great pet app and great visuals that bring back those nostalgic memories.

Very motivating. I love this app!!! It’s very motivating yet disappointing at the same time, motivating because I don’t want it to die and it’s crying face makes me feel awful so I keep up with it but I’ve had it for 28 days now and after 20 days it became this cute little monster with 4 feet then after 25 days it updated again and became the same exact thing just with a flipped ear. I wish my progress would reflect more. Negative aspects: 1.There’s a bit of a lag where it doesn’t count the same amount of steps as my step counter.. 2.Does not evolve into anything very different 3.Every time I do the extra goals to get sushi it does not count it or let me earn the sushi. 4.You cannot save hearts for later

Obsessed!. I love this app! Nothing has kept me as engaged or responsible in closing my watch rings each day like those little tears from my nomi do when he’s hungry. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to get the mini games to work. I don’t know if it’s me somehow or a glitch with the app. Whenever I tap on it I get no response from the game. Should I be doing something different? Other than that, thanks for creating this! Brings back my tamagotchi days.

Needs to have a catch for charging. Im only giving it a 4 because there needs to be some kind of “pause” for when the watch is charging. My pet keeps dying because i charge my watch only when it is needed. So if my watch dies in the middle of the day, it has to charge. Then by the time i put it back on, its bed time. I wake up and the thing is already starving. So i have to work really hard to gain hearts. And if i dont, it dies.

I love it but it needs some work. I absolutely love Nomi, but it could use some more features for flexibility. I have chronic illness that makes my “best” less than other peoples’ “best”. Even on casual, it’s been really hard to keep my Nomi alive. I think the solution to this is allowing people to set custom energy/step goals. Of course it would allow people to “cheat,” but who cares? It’s not a competition sport, they’d only be “cheating” themselves. A tool for our own betterment needs to be flexible to our personal goals. No one can set a goal that everyone can meet. Other changes that would help are giving Nomi more total hearts to allow some buffer time if we forget our watches somewhere (I left my watch at work overnight and my Nomi was dead the next morning despite being fully fed, I was very upset because I managed to keep that little guy alive for 74 days despite the difficulty!) or if we’re sick that day and can’t exercise much. To that end, I agree with other commenters that a “pause”. Feature would be nice. I also really think increasing the sleep time from 6 hours to 8 would help. I mean, who only sleeps 6 hours? I sleep 10 hours and my Nomi is always nearly dead by the time I get up. The average person sleeps 8 hours so I think it makes more sense. Or allow us to set custom sleep and wake times. Again, love the concept and the artwork is really cute, but it really needs these changes to become more functional and less of a source of stress.

Loooove my little guy. I absolutely love this. I’m on the sixth or seventh evolution (maybe more, honestly lost track, lol) and watching him grow has been so cute. I lost the first two I had before they updated the app and let the little guy sleep. Every time I reach a new evolution, he requires more energy. This is fine, but I’m hoping that it’ll start maxing out soon. It’s getting hard to keep up and I don’t want him to die! Anyways. If you like little electronic pets and need some motivation to get moving, this guy is adorable. He’s got a complication that changes as he gets hungry so you can always tell when it’s time to feed him!

Motivational. This app is perfect to keep you motivated to walk, perfect for this time when we easily forget how inactive we can get, as Nomi gets bigger you have to walk more and it’s way more of a motivation to walk more because he has evolved. Would be more perfect if we could see him walk or do something else rather than just stand there. But overall I love this app, and hopefully we can get to see more cool updates!

Love the updates!. Revising my review after I stopped using Nomi for awhile and gave it another try after the latest update. We asked and they listened! Nomi is better than ever :). The new features are great and syncing seems faster and more accurate as well. Original Review (3 star): Love this little guy as it’s been keeping me motivated to stay active during quarantine. I’ve used it everyday but have become increasingly frustrated by the inaccuracies of the activity to heart ratio. I’m walking well over 5k steps a day but my Nomi is sad and starving by the end of the day. The developer has stated on Reddit that the steps increase each day, making it more challenging to keep your Nomi alive. Great but I’d like to be able to control this myself as there might be times I can’t meet a goal because of injury, illness, etc. Hopefully the next update will address these issues.

Awesome addition!. Great simple app Fun to every now and then check on your lil guy and give him a feed. Not over the top from your day today life. I would hope to see some random creature you can acquire. Such as commons, uncommons, rare & legendary etc. :)

Error getting to 5 feed s a day evolution.. So I made a conscious effort to feed my nomi 5 times a day to get to the 5 daily feed evolution. As far as I was aware I was well ahead of my target. Every day I checked to make sure the average was showing 5 feeds a day and I was mentally tracking the number of feeds and seemed ahead. And on day 4 it said average 5 (I was probably over the goal each day too). But on day 5 it evolves into a 4 feed evolution and is now showing an average of 4? Evolution progress needs to be made more clear/obvious which evolution you are on track for - perhaps show a silhouette or put a line around the evolution path you are heading towards?

Nomi is the best!. I love Nomi- he’s so much more motivating than a normal pedometer. He helped me get moving out of lock down and his brothers and sisters have helped nudge me to being more active in general. I’ve even fallen in love with hiking.

It is just ok. Instructions very unclear. No idea why there are food and waving thought bubbles. The sleep mode for only 6 hrs is also annoying. If in workout mode then no activity is counted towards filling a heart. Very confusing indeed

Day 25 and counting. I wanted to edit my review to say that I am still going strong with my original nomi. Looking forward to the upcoming features.

Not counting my steps. Updating my review. Just saw the app help and have followed instructions 🤞 For some reason nomi says I don’t do any steps at all and I can’t seem to get it to work so it keeps dying 😔

Unable to add friends on list anymore. Myself and a few relatives have been using nomi since the end of December. Unfortunately, since around a week ago we can no longer add/see friends on the friends list on the app. Up until around a week ago, we had each other's nomi's on our friends list and we dont know what's changed. This has made the app a lot less enjoyable...

Cute!. Nomi is so cute! The app itself is a really good idea as it forces me to get in some steps to keep him happy and fed. It’s well-designed and runs smoothly on on my S4. I do wish there was some kind of safety net option to keep him alive if you’re so busy you can’t look at your watch for a whole day.

Super Cute. We are all big kids at heart and I loved my virtual pets when I was younger. I have had mine for two days now and I think it is just the cutest idea. It will get you motivated as well as keep you going to see the changes in your little pet.

Where did the ladder go?. I am more interested in bettering myself than competing against others. My first nomi made it to 76 days and since then my next 12 nomis have not been able to beat this. I loved that I could see my past nomis on the ladder and see where my current one sat. But recently the ladder disappeared. Can we not bring back this feature so I can use my nomi the way I choose?

Cute, amazing, so well thought out. Love it!. I ❤️❤️❤️LIVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️FOR❤️❤️❤️ MY ❤️❤️❤️❤️NOMI ❤️❤️❤️😊

A fun little watch buddy but…. Overall a fun app, but needs some further capabilities to make it more user friendly. Would be great to be able to adjust sleep times and increase to 8 hours rather than 6. The step count also seems to be wildly inaccurate. Finally, the games are…meh! While I appreciate that Nomi is designed to motivate movement, some days you just can’t meet the goals because of reasons lol!

Oh this takes me back! Nomi is the best. Loving my Nomi! Such a cute little thing, love taking care of him and watching him evolve! Great app!!!!

Buffering on Apple Watch. I paid for the app on my phone because the app wouldn’t process on my watch. I then went to purchased in my account to download to my watch and it just sits there buffering 😔 my watch is up to date. Only giving 1 star because I can’t use it but I know I would give 5 stars if I could!! Any feed can would be appreciated!! Update: after giving an initial 1 star, I can now say it’s finally working on my watch but still quite glitchy - it’s stopping and starting during my workouts but after my first Nomi died, I seem to be managing to keep my second one alive.., time will tell. Bug fixes would be great… 👍🏻

Great!. Love this app so much and is keeping me super motivated. I wish I could feed my friends pets when they get low though.

Good but could be better. This is a nifty little app that’s a very basic tamagotchi like creature with fitness aspects to keep it alive. I’m still on my first creature and it’s nice watching it grow and evolve though there are areas that could be better. I’d love more functionality with the pet other than just feeding and tapping to basically give it a pat. Also the steps update very slow. Today I was on 2902/3000 steps for about 600-700 meters of walking, thus wasting steps because it took too long to update. A possible fix for this if it’s not possible to update in real time would be to allow you to bank up 2 foods/hearts. That would allow you to keep walking and not waste steps once a heart should be full.

Like a Tamagotchi but cuter and on my watch!. Feed my lil guy with my steps and exercise...Genius. Very cool concept. Love this app.

Great concept but…. I really enjoy the app, but can you please add something to the app to accommodate disabilities? I am trying hard to keep my Nomi alive but it is hard doing so with normal parameters. For me, going for a 20 min walk is exhausting, yet it is not enough to keep Nomi alive. I like having the motivation to move, but can’t keep up with it. Also, please make Nomi not consume energy while you are sleeping or on charge. Thank you

Awesome. So this app is really amazing and I find it really easy to use and I am a coach potato lol. I have made my Nomi to 165 days and find it easy to keep it alive. I also Sind it easy to gain a large sushi. I recommend this app to you. Also I am really upset because I am going to pair my watch to my iPhone and the app will reset.😭 So I am delaying it. If you guys have any feedback how to keep my progress then please tell me as I really want to find a way how.

Love this app. My daughter and I absolutely love our Nomi’s, we’ve had them since yesterday. The only thing I cant work out is how to set up the friends connection. It’s saying I do t have my watch connected to the internet- but I do! Any suggestions on how to fix it? Other than that 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for sure! Feeding my little Nomi “Dumpling” is giving me a reason to get up and leave my work desk while I’m WFH! Thank you! 😊

Just one flaw. I had a surgery today and obviously could wear my watch, my little dude died 😭😭😭

Good motivation and love the design!. It’s like having a fitness buddy on your wrist! Nomi helps to keep me motivated to get my steps in each day - plus it’s cool to see how it will evolve over time. Really love the game feature as it allows me to get a heart much quicker when I’m running out of time. Work perfectly on S6. Very excited to try out the features of the new release & share with friends.

Great!.. for a while. This app is an awesome idea! The nostalgia levels are great, it’s easy to use, it’s fun and it’s cute! It also progresses nicely, encouraging you to do a few more steps to fill a heart or play a game to earn a sushi which is achievable.. until day 40 when all of a sudden it becomes impossible to earn even a small sushi. I’m a fairly active person, I work in a gym and do workouts nearly every day but for those important and necessary rest days, you do need to have banked some sushi’s to get Nomi through the day. The 3000 steps per heart at day 40 is in line with the progression, however at day 40 all of a sudden the “Quick Boogie” becomes impossibly hard compared to the previous evolution. It gives you 10mins to fill the energy bar by keeping your heart rate above 130bpm, my rate was 160+ for 10mins and I barely filled the bar a third of the way in that time. Even a 5kM run @ 5min/kM wasn’t enough to fill the bar which I find a little far out. It sounds dramatic, but unless you’re a pro athlete and training is your life, it doesn’t seem like past Day 40 will be possible to maintain which kills the vibe and desire to keep playing Nomi. It was fun as a once off, but knowing I probably won’t be able to ever maintain Nomi past Day 42 and see the other evolutions is a deal breaker unfortunately. There’s no reason to keep replaying the same evolutions over and over.

Cute. Great idea. Keeps you moving. Would be cool to be able to interact or feed a friends nomi too. Although my mini games aren’t working I love the idea to earn hearts for later!

Good Game But….. Nomi is a fun game but!!! Their could be a few things that would make this to a excellent game. Evolution seems to be broken. Doesn’t matter how many times you feed him per day he still only evokes from the left tree. Made sure I fed mine 6 times a day yet I still only get the basic evolution. A holiday mode would be great so you could pause your game if going away so he won’t die. Much better notifications would be GREAT! Being able to know when you fill your heart so you can feed him. Being able to store more then one heart at a time. Tutorial or better explanations on how to play your games would be great. Other then these small things it is a good fun little game.

SO FUNN. omg i can’t even explain, having a mate on ur wrist to motivate u to be active and keep going is so good! def recommend, only thing is is that it costs money, but it’s worth it!!!

Great concept and beautifully designed!. Excellent concept and can’t wait to see what my nomi is going to evolve into

Waste of money. No iPhone app. Notification to track your progress or new heart is available does not work 90% of the time and life is getting destroyed... After initial setup, No way to adjust your app settings. No motivation to move more.

paid for the app and can’t download after buying new watch. I have contacted the company three times to give them the chance to fix this issue, but have not heard back. I followed all the steps to try to fix the issue, but the App Store says it’s purchased and won’t let me re-download it.

So sad.... My Nomi(Gus Gus) was alive for 47 days but then I upgraded my watch and lost poor Gus Gus and am now forced to start all over again. If they can have a cloud for ones that die(I never killed mine, not once until now and through no fault of my own) then why can’t the cloud keep the alive ones attached to your iCloud back up or something so when we upgrade things we aren’t forced to start over again! I now have Gus Gus Jr. but he’ll be no replacement for Gus Gus!!

Nomi, No, go! It’s a No,No!. I thought that this would be a cute version of the Tomagotchi from back in the day, but I was wrong! It’s so easy to lose hearts! It’s boring and a waste of money! It really needs an app for the iPhone too, even though I know you developed this manly for the iwatch. Actually, this game is kind of fraudulent. You came up with games and a sleep time to help us get more hearts, but they don’t even work! I’ve had hearts and they just suddenly disappeared just like that! Plus it’s impossible to even get some suns! They too disappear! And the step calculator!! Completely inaccurate! You can do 500 steps and it says none, or under 100! Come on! Get the app/program fixed, or give people their money back! Your stupid step counter doesn’t work, nor does the game to get new and more hearts! This is fraud!

Cute and Motivating. I would give Nomi 5 stars but there are a few things that need to improve. Nomi only sleeping for 6 hours isn’t realistic to someone trying to be healthy and get their 8 hours of sleep. When adding friends, we should be able to help Other Nomi’s out be sharing hearts. I would like to see evolutions go beyond the 100 day mark. Otherwise it’s a great little app and I enjoy making sure it’s hearts are full. After day 40 is really when it gets to be something that keeps me going.

All cannot be found. I paid 7.00 and can’t find the app anywhere. What a rip off! Do not download. It’s a scam!

It’s making me buy this twice.. Once on my phone and then once on my watch.........

Update- battery issues. Updating my thoughts as after a few days this app is destroying the watch battery life. Please fix This app is so cute and so fun but I do wish it had a companion app for the phone it’s just easier to customize etc. speaking of customize, developer can you make the option for different backgrounds and stuff like that? It also make it easier to have mini games if there was a phone app and then then the watch app for quick interactions.

Can’t download.. Stupid

Symbiosis of coevolution. Update: Using it for 6 months now, app has improved over time and appreciate the developer is making changes based on the feedback received. No major impact on battery performance. If I have to pick one great feature then it’s the mini game. Using the app for 8 days. It’s easy to use and Apple Watch only app. Download directly on your watch to avoid any issues with step count. Slight delay in registering the step counts but it is not a big deal. Perfect for the current times of “quarantine”, if I keep “nomi” alive, I’m alive and well. The symbiosis necessary for coevolution!! Will update the review once I’m sure about the impact on battery performance.

Horrible. Not good if you’re an office worker and can’t be active most time of the day. The thing dies before I can even care for it, easier to take care of a real pet than this virtual one.

Terrible App, Disappears When Watch Updates iOS. I was at 34 days and my watch did the latest update while I was asleep. Nomi is nowhere to be found now, it cannot be redownloaded from the App Store as it is greyed out as Purchased, it is not actually listed under my App Store account under Purchased for either On This iPhone or Not On This iPhone, and it cannot be found anywhere on my watch or in its settings both on the watch and the iPhone. I did all of that work for nothing, do not even entertain this app, it’s a waste of time and there is no way to get it back once your watch updates.

Good idea needs polish. Updating review. Definitely worth the minimal cost for such a cute app, especially with the latest QOL updates. Being able to set my own difficulty is a game changer. Also love the new sleep addition. Keep up three great work, looking forward to future updates.

Works well but doesn't back up. Works well, is super cute, and has convinced me up off the couch more than once! Note: doesn't back up to iCloud. Had to unpair and re-pair my watch to my phone and despite backing up beforehand I ended up killing a several-month-old nomi. :(

Terrible. Thought this was going to be a fun app for me but it’s not. It’s glitching so bad every 3 days I’m loosing my friends and have to uninstall the app and it won’t show me the full Nomi ID. Do not download this. This has happened to not only me but 2 of my friends who also have this app on their watch

First impressions- very cute!. I wanted to give a review to help with the ratings. I just got it and it’s been working fine. The Apple Health app does have a bit of a delay, but eventually the steps are counted and my Nomi gets fed. It is really cute and a great motivator to get some steps during the day. So far so good. I’ll come back and update my review and rating after I try this out for a few days. Update: I’ve upgraded my review to 5 stars. During this time of social distancing and isolation, I’ve kept up my goal of 10,000 steps with the cute reminders from my evolving Nomi which I’ve named “Marshmallow”. My kids love him too. Highly recommended to brighten up your day in these difficult times.

Sleep time. I need Nomi to sleep longer! Recommended time of sleep is 8hours. I do exercise, work and eat healthy. That has me sleep 8 hours! That would be so sad to have Nomi die because I am sleeping. Please, may you allow linger sleep time ! Thank you !

Love it. My current nomi (Bingus) is at day 273! It’s a great game. Definitely can get you moving when you see your nomi running low. The only thing I wish was that after a little while(100 days or a year) your nomi would just rest eternally so you could start a new one without killing your old one. There’s 3 different pathways and I wouldn’t mind starting a new one but I don’t want to kill mine.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!. This app is honestly the best app ever for the apple watch. It is so amazing and fun. I have only been using it for 25 days but I love it so so mcuh! I am so so exited to see what new features there are comming!! I have one suggestion though: Could you add a thing were it sets the time nomi sleeps for depending on your age that you put in your health app? Adults are mabye sleeping 6-7 hours a night but kids and teenagers should sleep for like 8 hours and that 2 hours of nomi slowly loosing hearts! You dont have to add this feature or read anything I sais in this message, but I put it out here if you want it!! (The people that put less than 5 stars to this app are SUPER COCOOOO! 😂)

Shift worker. Love it but I can’t change it to sleep longer when I am on shift work or pause it when am charging my watch .

Waste of money. Won’t even download to my watch. Super disappointed. I wish I could get a refund 😡

Don’t get this if you work nights. I’m a nurse who works nights and apparently little Nomi sleeps throughout the night (lucky little thing) but you can’t save up your hearts from all your steps at night and give them at a later time, or feed them right away (no night time feedings for the baby I guess?) so RIP this app basically doesn’t work for me and is quite frustrating.

Meh. On the fence.. Cute and vaguely motivational. But as a shift worker, I hate that when I am asleep during the day, the Nomi isn’t. It can’t be that hard to design it to put it to sleep during Do Not Disturb mode. Then it sleeps while I’m awake. Should be able to set how long it sleeps and when. Also, if the watch isn’t on my wrist, it should suspend.

Not good and no improvements. I read older reviews and seems like there was no improvement in the app. It does too fast. Doesn’t last even 24h, so even if you walk once a day, which is my goal, it would die. There’s no option to skip a day or something in case you absolutely can’t go out for a walk. Other functionalities for playing with it are very limited

Active calories a game changer. This most recent update takes a cute app to the next level. Most steps are kind of hard to track so using active calories/move ring data is great! Thank you for providing difficulty level also!

Fun but….. Every time I start a new pet it always takes the same evolution path. I’d like to see the other two.

Unfortunately not working properly. Adorable and I want to love it so badly but it won’t count my steps and I have no idea why :(

Simple and cute.. Just remember to check in every few hours. Cute little pet - just feed it. No cleanup, no water or mood swings. Just feed it a heart that you earn by walking. Don’t overthink this one.

Family sharing not working. Great app even if there is not a lot to do with the little guy ( combat with friends or stuff like that would be great). One bad thing is that it says it work with up to 6 family member but I can’t make it to work, always ask to pay again

50:50. On day 8. So far I like it. It’s cute, I named mine lil mochi nomnom. I just wish it was more like the classic nano or tamagotchi, you literally can’t do anything with it. Just tap the heart once it’s full to feed it 5 or so times a day and wait 5 days to see it change. That’s it. Also seriously need to be able to set the bedtime and wake up time yourself, sometimes I go to bed at 9pm, sometimes 1am. Sometimes get up at 6, sometimes 8. It’s annoying that it’s strictly set for midnight-6. It’s just kinda lacking in my view but still cute so whatever lol I’ll keep it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Garbage. I bought this app, downloaded it directly on my watch and it’s not there at all. Went to the App Store again clicked on it again and it wanted me to pay for it again when it should have said I already purchased it once. Thankfully it was only $2.79 so not much of a loss but will never buy anything from Andrew chin again

Waste of money!. Don’t waste your money. Get Step Dog or something else instead. This dies way too easily, first of all. Even if the easy or casual mode, it’s just not realistic! But also, after a day or two it stops notifying you to feed it so you just naturally forget sometimes. Then you have to start all over. And it looks like there are a few different types of Nomi to hatch but I keep getting the same one! I have no idea what it morphs into though I can’t keep it alive more than 10 days or so. And the mini games don’t work! Or at least not while you’re using an Apple Watch workout? Which there’s absolutely no way I’ll not track a run over playing a dumb Nomi mini game lol. Just skip this one, even though it’s pod the dev isn’t making it better.

Was great until notifications killed it. I was able to get my nomi to stay alive for 39 days. Then I got no notifications saying it was running out of hearts and was hungry and then it died. I haven’t tried with another because that was frustrating, when there’s an update that fixes notifications then I’ll try it again. I got my wife to get it too and she will get notifications for maybe 2 days tops then they’ll stop so it will end up dying

Never knew I wanted this.. This app is one of those things I never knew I wanted until I had it. Seeing this cute little creature that taps my wrist and smiles honestly brightens my day a little bit. And I don’t know why I find it funny that it eats chicken legs, but I do. And another motivator for me to get up and move is always welcome! Definitely using the complication as well! 5/5

Great app.. I am really enjoying this app!! I never thought a virtual pet would make me want to get my steps in. One suggestion would be to have a way to “pause” for illness so the pet doesn’t die. I am going to lose my pet after 50 days due to illness and not having this option.

Cute/suggestions. Super cute!! But you should make a system where we can feed friends nomis also! It will help when we have to take a plane ride, or travel by car 6 or more hours! We can ask a friend to spare a heart beat for their friends nomi in such situations! I would have given a five star if it had this feature

I really wanted to like this app. I really wanted to like this app but I hate it. It would be such an easy fix. Right now you have to remember to feed nomi when the heart is full otherwise you lose the ability to get more hearts. If the hearts stacked that would easily make this app more enjoyable. Whenever I do remember to feed nomi it is almost always at the end of my day and all of the hearts I could have saved up are now not attainable.

Nomi is dead while on the charger. I have had a good time using the nomi app. However I have lost my nomi 3 times when the watch is on my charger. Only if it could stay fed at the level I left it at while the watch is charging.

Very cute and fun. My nomi, Mochi is almost a month old now. He is really cute! The app encourages me to be active despite COVID-19 quarantine. I have asked questions and comments to the developers via email and on Reddit, they are very responsive. There has been two updates already and the app is getting better and better. It is well worth the price, hope they will keep up the great work!

Thank you. I just want to give my sincere thanks for creating such a good and unique app! I always loved tamogotchi as a child and when I discovered this app today I was ecstatic! It takes me back to my childhood not to mention will help me stay motivated to exercise. Thank you, thank you!!!

Nomi review. It’s a good over all app to encourage you to get up and walk. Two concerns for me: 1. Sleeps for only 6 hours so it’s awake before me and already losing hearts before I could even get up and get some activity 2. It doesn’t recognize when it’s on the charger so again not capturing any activity because the watch is charging and it could lose hearts in the process

So cute!. I love this app, it’s so cute. Everything works just fine as far as games and taking care of the little guy. However every night I put my watch on charge and when I wake up my Nomi is dead. I guess it only sleeps for 6 hours? But I sleep for 8? Is that what’s the case? Well, so far I haven’t been able to experience anything past the first day with these cuties 😢

Excellent workout app. I love the idea: but I travel a lot and sometimes I don’t have the time of place to workout and when I come back to nomi, he’s dead lol and I gotta start a new one over. It be nice for Nomi to motivate u to workout but not die because you had to take a day off or its a cheat day.

Great and Motivating App!. The little pet is adorable! I enjoy taking care of this little guy and sharing his progress with friends. I recommend this app to everyone I mention it to. I would like to see Nomi sleep for 8 hours instead of 6, however. It’s a little strange that he doesn’t. Also, I had an issue when I got a new iPhone. When I transferred my data and re-connected my watch, none of my Nomi data transferred and I had to start over from Day 1. My Nomi was still the first one I ever had. He was fully grown and 114 days old. He isn’t even in the Nomi Heaven. The only evidence I have of his existence are the screen shots I took through his evolution. 😞

Why does he have to die??. This game is almost perfect - I wish there was an option to turn off dying after losing all of his hearts. My girlfriend wants to play this game but seeing her cute pet die would just make her sad so she doesn’t want to play it anymore🥺😭

Fun. Fun little thing for watch. Keeps you moving to feed it. Would be nice if full hearts banked themselves and restarted earning new heart or if you have full heart and don’t need it you could choose to bank 1/2 the heart and lose 1/2 the heart but then you could start earning next heart.

Great concept. Great concept. Just started playing. However I work 10 hours days in the restaurant industry and we can’t wear our watches, so it becomes hard to care for the pet because I’m too busy working. But great either way. I just hope we can find a way to accommodate people that can’t wear their watch all day long

Should be free. I purchased this, it was great until I realized it didn’t evolve past 100 days, so basically useless after that. I let mine get up to 175 in hopes there would be an update in the meantime but nope…no updates…also not exactly sure what the point of adding friends is…they can’t help you or anything, that feature never made any sense to me either…

Great Motivator. I love this app! It really motivates me and my kids to keep their watches on and keep moving. I do wish I was able to donate hearts to my “friends” bc sometimes my kids’ almost die. My son swims, and unfortunately, his nomi doesn’t count any of his workout bc it doesn’t work when changed to energy. I think it has something to do with Apple family share. In these times, I’d love to give him one of my hearts to keep his pet alive.

Was working great. This app was working great until I got the version 7 watch. My 56 extra hearts did not transfer over and the step count keeps resetting. Twice today I was almost at 4,500 steps to earn a heart and it went back to zero. If this continues, I will be done with this app. I have worked hard to keep my pet alive for over a year.

I have no idea how this works.. This app is cute and simple. I started it up in the morning, named him, and had an active day. Went for a 5 mile run and earned 1 out of 3 hearts. When I went to bed, my little dude was sad (14k steps, 1k calories). When I woke up, he was dead. I like the idea of this whole thing, I’d just like to know how this works, as being generally pretty active apparently does not.

Needs some improvements. I love this but it needs a couple settings improvements. 1) recommended sleep is 8 hours for most people yet Nomi only sleeps 6…so this can cause an issue if running low. 2) would be nice to be able to tell it you’re sick and need to pause…sick means no movement most times and Nomi dies. Otherwise it’s fun and keeps me moving when I can!

I’m a Tamagotchi Collector. I’m a Tamagotchi collector so I had to have this! Very cute and easy to use. Inspires me to get moving because his little sad face breaks my heart. Today he evolved and now has the cutest little fangs. Can’t wait to see future evolutions and more characters.

Died overnight despite devs attempts to fix, boring. Bought this after seeing the devs post on reddit, So mad this app costs money, don’t waste your money. All you can do it tap to feed it. Mini game doesn’t appear as should. Constantly dies while you’re sleeping. This was supposed to be fixed by Devs but continues. If you’re sick or unable to move for 8-12 hours, it dies. No other ways to take care of it, so you have to lose your progress. Mentally distressing instead of encouragement. I liked the battle camp virtual pet app more.

Purchase pending. Hi! I purchased this a couple of days ago and it is not showing under my purchases in the App Store to download. Is there something additional I need to do?

Cute but needs an update features not working. Super cute idea but certain features wont work and there has not been any updates in 2 years. Wish it was a little more interactive and hearts would save in case we forget. No way to add friends…bit of a bummer.

Great motivation to move!. For some reason the Apple Watch Activity rings have never done if for me, but this has given me the motivation to actually go out of my way to get more steps in (as silly as it sounds). Great idea, and I am hoping the Dev continues to add features to it so there is a little more to do eventually.

cute and fun. i love it & it can get addicting. but omg pls make it an option to feed automatically when i fill a heart. Also my sleep schedule is crazy so my pets are always asleep when I am awake.

Fun app. So far I’m enjoying the app. My nomi has evolved but I would find it easier if the hearts were auto-fed to nomi. I bring this up because if I go for a walk which equals 2500 steps, I’d only get “credit for 1200 of those if I forget to feed nomi during the walk. An auto feed feature would help with this. Maybe feed calories instead of steps?

It’s Cool, but. I like the app. My friend told me about it. I successfully downloaded it and my pet survives well because I walk a lot, however my issue is getting friends. For whatever reason I can’t seem to get my friends to connect to my watch. I follow the steps, which are extremely simple, but something is not working properly. Other then that it’s a pretty cool app to have.

Adorable!. This app is really cute! But the hearts deplete somewhat fast and they don't stack up once you've reached your maximum steps for 1 heart. If it's possible, consider making the hearts stack so we don't waste walks. Perhaps you could also incorporate an auto-feeder mode where if it reaches 500 they're automatically fed and a tracker of how much we walked for the day as opposed to capping on 500 steps per heart. 😁

Love my Nomi!. Nomi is one of the best motivators to get off the couch. How can you let that sweet face cry when he’s hungry? I really like the fact that you have to keep moving throughout the day. With most other apps designed to get you moving, you can do a workout in the morning and be done. With Nomi, he needs to be fed a few times a day. Definitely worth the price. Easy to use, easy to get steps to feed Nomi.

Lots of Issues and Developers Don’t Respond. I’ve had issues from syncing all the way to heart rates not being read. Sent emails to no response to the only contact link. Still no answer! It’s now September and I haven’t gotten an answer. I believe I sent an email in July. Countless pets have died since there is NO answer regarding why exercises don’t reward Quick Boogie foods. Stops don’t save. Developers don’t answer. 0/10 please own up to your mistakes.

Only one game works. The first game (1 heart game) measures your heart rate and works fine. The second game doesn’t work at all. I’m not sure if it is supposed to measure your heart rate like the first one or does distance travelled… either way I tried various things (jogging outside, using the treadmill, getting my heart rate up higher) and the game just doesn’t work. Basically, if you want to keep your nomi alive, you just gotta do five minutes workouts and start the game over every single time. Tedious and not fun.

Great but.... I love the app it helps me get my steps. But I am currently very upset because I had a surgery and am bedridden. I won’t be able to get my 4000 steps to get to 100 days for the last evolution. I am on day 95. I wish there was a way to pause once or a mercy setting that allowed it to die and revive if you make it a certain distance. It will be a shame seeing it die after all my hard work. It’s at 2 hearts right now.

Love the app but…. Love the app but I’m having a little trouble understanding how to play the mini games. It counts down 3..2..1 and then freezes at the go! screen. All a while I’m constantly on the treadmill with a heartrate of over 140. How do I play this? I understand it’s supposed to be for 6 mins but even when I run for 10 mins, it still stays frozen on the “Go!” Screen.

Really fun! Wished or. This is a fun way to stay active! My only complaint is that I don't quite understand the steps refresh rate. I went on a 5 mile walk and barely got 2 hearts! I opened the app many times to see if I had closed a heart ring to feed my no I (Bob... Lol) but it never refreshed very quickly. I wish the heart rings were more real-time.

Cute but can’t add friends…. It’s such a cute app but I can not add friends at all, it says I have no internet connection. Which I do, my watch is literally connected to the Wi-Fi. Everything else works perfectly fine. I’ve tried everything to try to fix it and nothing has worked. Super annoying!

Great app! An idea. I really like this app! It definitely gets me moving, and I love the update for the different evolutions. I think it would be really cool if we could see our Nomi on the watch face or something a little more interactive than just a shortcut to the app. It would definitely help me be less forgetful about feeding my nomi too!

Absolutely love it but I’m having issues... Great app! I always forget to feed him lol but recently my phone was stolen and I had to reset my watch to connect it to my new phone. On my phone it says purchased but my watch says it’s not there. Obviously lol. Is there anyway to get it back without having to buy it again?

Nomi when sleeping. The app is definitely fun and cute! It really helps me stay motivated during this quarantine time. Although, the only issue I have is that when my watch is turned off, I still lost a life. Am I supposed to wear this thing when I sleep to avoid Nomi from losing a life? I had all hearts filled before turning it off. Overall, I am happy with the app minus losing a life even when the watch is off.

Cute concept NOT AVAIL FOR SERIES 7. Update- bye Nomi…I now have Series 7; you should keep up with new versions…. I did enjoy Nomi very much. It would get a 5 if the friends could communicate. Since we can have friends, it is disappointing that we can’t message each other to provide support. It would be very awesome if we could gift a sushi we earned to a friend on need.

Doesn't evolve after 60 days. I enjoyed the nomi until realizing after 60 days alive there is no more evolutions. That is a problem because now I'm losing my motivation. As of September 1. I have also noticed no new updates from devs for two months And please create a social media account or community so we can grow the community. You have a good app. Let's make it great!

I love it!. This is so cute and such a good idea. Can it be a watch face or at least a haptic ?I can’t figure out how. Can I start the game before a workout without interfering with my Apple workout app? Keep the add ons coming. Im thinking clothes and accessories.

Mostly good. Nomi is cute and really helps me add more steps to my day. One problem though is you have to click on the full circle to feed nomi and fill its heart but the app doesn’t always recognize that I have clicked so it doesn’t clear the heart. When I go back into the app for the next heart it will show that I have missed one. This is a big flaw because then you have to earn another heart or risk killing nomi.

Needs more features. Love this app but it could use like ability to change the background instead of black, maybe change the color of the nomi and be able to have it in the big complication section on the watch info graph face

Sad , needs improvements. I switched to energy for a day but it wants 200 calories per feeding. :/ I deleted it because I get 7-9,000 steps on weekdays but when I open the app to feed it only shows 400 steps or so and it makes me sad when it’s asking for food and my steps aren’t registering enough to keep it fed and happy :/ . Why aren’t all of my steps showing up ? They’re in the watch activity app but very low percentage in the nomi app.

So fun to use everyday. Because of this app I have been using my apple watch everyday, keeps me walking all day and feeding my nomi, the price is very good too and today it got an update cant wait to try it out, hopefully on the next updates you can change settings while the nomi is alive. So far you can change settings when it dies and you hatch a new one.

Love it but…. I wished could be longer than 6hrs sleep time. I lose all my lil nomis. I work graveyards and I have to sleep… but other than that I love it off I could keep one alive lol”update!!! I love it and the sleep 6 hours helps! My Nomie hasn’t died and all the other ones I had did but I set up the sleep 6 hrs and it’s great he hasn’t died!!!!! Thanks

Fun but..... Is there any way to revive a Nomi that’s passed on to the cloud? I was distracted by an important work emergency yesterday and I lost my “Bambi” on day 40. Now I’ve completely lost my motivation to restart again. Can’t there be a Nomi hospital or some type of extra workout you can do for these situations? Thanks for creating a fun, motivating app.

Doesn’t register my steps. I wore my Apple Watch all day and it still says I didn’t walk any steps. I checked my health app and it registered my steps. Also the “game” is stuck where it just says “go” and I try moving around but to no avail.

Very dissatisfied. The app doesn’t seem to register steps accurately. My step counter measures steps using my watch accurately. Nomi does not sync with that. Also it seems to lag in recording steps. Also I cannot play the games. Evidently you cannot record steps using a fitness app simultaneously playing a nomi game. I’ve kept it alive for 20 days and that’s an accomplishment. Just wish it would record steps accurately so I can feed it what it should be fed

Sakura. I never had a tomagotchi growing up, but wanted one for sure. Nomi is absolutely just as cool. I love this app because it’s intensified my workouts. As my Sakura evolves so does my physical progression and diversity. I like to think we’re evolving together. Anyways, this app is really amazing and I hope we get to see it develop even further. Thank you- Shavay
